The tactician decided to put the idea of binding Isaac on the backburner for now, considering he had yet to do any real damage. However, he was aware of Maka's limits when it came to regeneration, knowing that what Isaac had given her regeneration property a run for its money. So, he decided to be some help, stretching his left hand toward her, shadow-stitching her body back together.

"...But I do have a way to maybe level the playing field further...I'm a demon, I can do wonderous things, but...it takes a deal to..grease my palms." He says, smirking. "Now, I need to ask you, to ask yourself a question...how much are the lives of everyone on this planet worth to you?" He begins. "Because unless someone pulls out some..divine intervetion....you're all going to end up dead. This swarm is exceptionally anti-human..and will destroy your pokemon, and digimon allies for standing with humans. They wiped out all life in the universe they are from, except themselves...you've no chance...not without my help." Cornwall says, before holding out his hand. "....So, here's the deal...your soul..and the souls of anyone who dies during this fight....for a chance at victory?" He asks, his grin wide, and devious. A demon, it seems, it a demon, willing to make a deal wherever one may be found..or forced.

"Hup hup hup!" Osamu's voice echoed through the speakers. "Still listening here; multi-tasking! Anyway..." he seemed to be addressing Cornwall, "No souls, but we can give you the stuff souls are made from.* I have a stash of it in one of the basements of Mt. Coronet. Note to anyone listening: I did not get the substance from actual human souls - I artificially generated it!"

"Typical," grumbled Takeru, who then looked up. "Hey, does your father really approve of this mucking about with the laws of nature?!"

"What he doesn't know doesn't hurt him!" was the reply, while the sounds of battle can be heard from afar. "So, Cornwall, Magatsuhi, the raw stuff of souls, in exchange for your help?"

"It's not something you can simply shrug off..you need help, and quick. I know someone. They dislike me, but they're a sucker for helping those in need." Minx begins, hugging him gently. She begins to weave a portal open, but something disrupts it. "Damn it, someone is channeling a lot of power it seems. It's interfering with my powers...someone out there is having a hero moment, pretty much." She says, annoyed. She pulls out some red potions. "Drink these, they'll help for now." She says, handing the potions to Kevin. Each one, filled with Anima, the essence of life, but not of the soul.

Kevin sighs. "I guess it can't be helped..." He drinks down one of the potions, suddenly feeling a bit dehydrated. He hopes that fixing up his insides doesn't take too long. He doesn't even know how long he was dead for, and he has no idea of the state of things in this world, or any others he'd been to. He thought about the guild, and immediately discarded the thought. He had left them behind for a reason, and he wasn't about to go back, in case he left a trail for trouble to follow. Sure, he may have been dead for some time, but if people who knew him dead found him alive, they would surely question how it'd come about. If they had any intention of finding out, they'd track where he'd been, and he didn't feel like putting the guild at risk like that.

Still... he needs to go somewhere. He needs to find something, still scratching at the back of his mind. For now, though, he waits. However, a thought soon occurs. "Hey, Minx, how long had I been dead?" He didn't know, and felt that was probably relevant information when considering his next course of action.

Ilyndriel poofs next to Kevin and blinks at him, as if not expecting him to be there. Then she sees Minx. "Oh... sorry. Am I interrupting something?"

Kevin jumps at the girl's sudden appearance, cursing under his breath. He then clears his throat, staring at her. "Uhh, no, you haven't really interrupted much. Do I know you? No, scratch that, I know I don't know you. Who are you?" The mage glares at the girl, swirling the other red potion Minx had handed to him as he awaits an explanation. He prepares to dive back or to the side, just in case the girl wasn't what she seems to be. He oddly felt... kind of relaxed considering a random person just appeared there whom he had no knowledge of.

Despite it being his world that was being invaded, Minato remains on standby at the Coronet base, knowing fully well that his experience with a blade would mean nothing against these creatures from another world. Until he could reclaim his Evoker, all the boy could do was watch the action unfold from the monitors standing before him, rather frustrated at the situation being presented to him.

"sure, here's your shit, try not to lose it again" gin says evenly as he hands evokers, pokeballs, and digidevices (no clue what they're actually called...) back out to those gathered, asking cornwall a few questions while the children went out to play at war. "you're not very high ranking are you? you don't have that aura of instant death that arch demons put out or the mind numbingly good voice of fallen angels. you new wave?" gin asks, turning to cornwall and heading outside since it was obvious the demon couldn't get anything done there anymore.

At the site of tokyo tower things were much more dire, with beings capable of freeing pokemon from the brain washing caused by the quantum physics marvel of pokeballs, trainers that had never bonded properly were finding their pokemon turning, killing and eating them, leaving even ash's pikachu turning on him, long supressed hatred at being forced to do battle while only able to bear witness to what his body was being forced to do causing even her to turn against her slave master. "are you alright? you've just been kinda staring at me this entire time..." the queen asks tiny, giving him a poke when he sits there, unresponsive while the invasion went off without a hitch, the psionic powers of some of the troops causing the pale imitations of the trainers to be thwarted and turned against them.

The girl sways side to side swinging her arms slightly as she passes the time. "You don't know me yet, but you can call me Lyn. What's that drink you have?" she looked at it curiously, not yet addressing Minx.

"....Kevin, that little girl is making me have a headache....Little Angel Girl, what are you doing here?" Minx growls, obviously disturbed by the appearance of this angelic..thing. She didn't know why, or who, this girl was, but she was worried it was a divine being in disguise, seeking to kill her for her evil deeds. So, she did what any self respecting wacko would do. She gently hides behind Kevin, using this as an excuse to hug him. "She worries me..." She says, holding onto him. She wasn't worried. Not at all. She just wanted a reason to hug Kevin again.

Kevin seems surprised by Minx's attitude. The girl doesn't seem very threatening to him. In fact, having her there... made him oddly calm... Finding the situation he was in confusing, his first instinct was to protect Minx, even if she does seem to be misplacing her worry. "What is your purpose being here?" He ignored the little girl's question, repeating Minx's question. Kevin made sure his voice wasn't too imposing, not wanting to scare the angel girl, but still places himself securely between her and Minx. He slid his mask back into place, mostly to hide the heat rising to his face upon feeling Minx hug him.

"I just wanted to help." Ilyndriel said with a fading smile. She didn't tell them everything about the orphan-killer that was after her. She took off a backpack she had acquired that was made of strong white silk and opened it up. "And I'm also kind of looking for some food for my new friend here, Jeffrey." The maggot-baby could be seen peeking out of the top of the sack.

"Wait, demonization?!" Osamu was incredulous. "I already have a ritual for that, and it's not going to give me a vulnerability to holy stuff!" Osamu didn't add that he was going to have to buy time if he was going to go with that, but he still felt shortcharged.

"Hmm...if I give you the Magical Biometrics, can you turn me into another type of Demon from another universe? I have to admit that my own ritual will take at least a few hours..." This was both a conciliatory gesture to Cornwall and an indirect admission that the Original Setting!Demon still had something to offer...

"Here's the Magical Biometrics so you can turn me into a Shin Megami Tensei demon instead of the Usual Kind of Demon," Osamu brought out a pen and notebook from his shirt pocket and wrote the relevant data, then gave Cornwall the note and some time to look at it. Then, he took Cornwall's hand.

"Demi-Fiendship, here I come!"

A flash of light and fire, and Osamu's body was now covered in intricate, blue-green striped tatoos that ran vertically to his arms, neck, and now-bare chest; his shirt, undershirt, and vest had been burned away when the bargain was struck. There was also a small horn growing at the nape of the 18-year old's neck.

"Well," spoke Osamu, "seems like the bargain was successful. I have Demi-Fiend Powers now!"

"I hope you still maintain your magi-technological genius and power over extended rituals," Horus remarked.

In the meantime, Takeru and Hikari, having evolved Patamon and Gatomon into HolyAngemon and Angewomon, teleported to the skies above Tokyo, with Takeru saying:

"You know, if Osamu the Second hadn't cured Patamon and the other Digimon of that infection, as well as saved our Digital World, I would be trashing his ass right now."

"I can agree," said Hikari, who was riding on Angewomon's shoulder, just as Takeru rode on HolyAngemon's. "At least he's not hurting anyone, though."

"Darkness and Negative Powers aren't toys," Takeru grumbled. "He should learn that lesson soon."

Ilyndriel stops a moment, distracted. "Hmm, sorry. I feel something disturbing... somewhere. Something terrible is happening, I just don't know what." She looked at Jeffery. "I hope it isn't headed this way. Do either of you feel anything?"

Jeffery simply goes scree, letting out a noise of not knowing. Unable to talk, able to understand. The large maggot creature then slinks from the grasp of Illyndriel and over to Minx, who picks up the huge maggot. ".....Kevin, this is now our new pet." She says, smiling at it. "Scree!" It lets out, happy with this. Just then, the Twilight Queen appears.
"Oh jeffery, it....oh, hello, dark lordess." She says, her eyes narrowing at Minx.
"Oh, hi there stuck-up-butt. I was just about to go visit you. Kevin, this is the healer who can help you." She says, and the twilight queen turns a tad pale.
"..K-kevin? The crashing man? The one who died for all?" She asks. "I heard you were destroyed...how..."
"I have my ways." Minx chimes in, smirking at the Queens confusion, and horror.
