Sora Kaze

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta@Infichi@Caits@Crimson Raven
Sora twitched in annoyance as his attack was redirected elsewhere. However it simply came crashing back down and wiped out the barrier, even if her spirit tried to redirect it again she would find it wouldn't alter it's course at all.
"Look here. I'm just here to fulfill my request girl, and I don't take it too kindly when people get in the way. Whether they be children or not. So unless you want to pick a fight you have no chance in hell of winning, you'll stay out of this." Sora leapt effortlessly over Amelia now and touched down without much fuss next to Shiro and Manami. Before he did however, a breeze had blown away the remaining Chu's to where Amelia was. He cared not for her pitiful wind spirit, he was the contractor to the Wind Spirit King. Her spirit was nothing before him so he acted the part, as despite his rather threatening tone he didn't want to bring harm to Amelia....she reminded him of her.
He also had no reason to hurt her for now anyway, but if she interfered he would do so without hesitation. Sora bent down and placed a hand on Shiro's head before a soft glow emanated. He did the same to Manami now as well as he held Shiro down by sitting atop the girl, giving Verrick quite the smug look.
"And THAT'S how you get things done kid." And with that the battle at Crocus park was over.

Amelia grit her teeth in anger as her blood boiled. This man... this man reminded her of so many other's she had met. Arrogant, cruel, and utterly reckless with their surroundings and the lives around them. She clenched her fist as she dismissed Sylph and began gathering a large number of sprites from the surrounding area before Phlegethon placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Summon that now and you'll upset balance in more ways then one. Wait until you're stronger and have better control over the basic ones. Until then, let the cocky bastard go and trounce him when you're older." He said before walking away to keep an eye on Nidhogg.

"That'll be a sight to see." Amelia said as the sprites began spreading out again and vanishing while a comparably smaller number returned to the crystals on her wings. She glared at Sora for a second before turning to James and frowning at him. "How can you condone that thing's actions? It summoned a tornado in the middle of a city. If we weren't in a garden, it would've damaged homes, people, and caused more damage then any of the guilds can afford to repair. It should be locked up in a prison instead of being allowed to run free and threaten others."

James Hunt|Crocus City Park

James approached Amelia and stood next to her, having finally noticed Master Jamie's presence. "In a more populated area, I wouldn't have let him simply walk away and continue his business. In the years I've been on the road, Lady Amelia, I've learned that to pick and choose your battles is wisest, especially where the lives of innocents are concerned. Besides, this incident will have called enough attention to the guild, especially so soon after that Dark Guild attacked us. This will be difficult enough to explain to your mother as it stands, and in order to do that, we're going to ne-" He stopped mid sentence as he looked around. "Wait a minute, where's Amaya and Joshua?"

Mai Butcher, Jess Butcher, Ethel Storm, Jessica Albert, Manami Fuyu, Cody Bloodstein, Shiro Hime, Sora Kaze and James Lumin

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta@Infichi@Caits@Crimson Raven
Using the wind to carry their words over, Sora sighed at James and Amelia's conversation. Great, he had happened upon another group of goody two-shoes. 'Don't destroy this', 'don't destroy that', 'don't you think you went over the top?'. Those were things Sora was used to hearing, but he couldn't quite help himself. He liked to demonstrate his strength, it was his right to do so really.
Plus he had thought through the tornado plan. The buildings which hadn't been fixed by that guy with Arc of Time magic were really the only ones which got damaged, and he didn't even really make them that much worse to be honest. That was HER group's fault.
Secondly he just wanted to clear away those damned abominations. And there should've been no civilians left in the area who would've been affected by his tornado anyway, so why did she care so much? Sora wasn't quite as reckless as people thought, he did usually think things through before doing them. But he honestly could care what they think. Like they knew anything about him, so let them judge him. Everyone did anyway.
"But why did Shiro and Manami attack these guys? From what I can gather, there's no slayers here..." Sora thought as he stood up just as Mai and Jess had walked over to him. Or rather, Mai had stormed over with a rather not too pleased look on her face.
"What's the big idea?! How many times have we asked you for some goddamn warning first?!" Mai grabbed Sora by the front of his shirt as she yelled angrily at him, glaring into his uncaring eyes. Sora simply shrugged in reply before allowing a small smirk to form.
"If you couldn't defend yourselves from that, it's your own problem. I don't remember ever promising a warning at any stage we've been together." Mai's face twitched as she looked like she was about to pop a vein from Sora's rather obvious taunting of the younger woman. He couldn't help himself really, this was just how he was.
"On another more important note. I need you two to go find their friends, they mentioned that there were more of them. I would prefer if their guildmaster didn't find out about this. After all, last thing we need is her coming after us." Sora had a hint of concern in his voice at the mention of Manami's guildmaster, which snapped Mai out of her little tantrum. If Sora was weary of that woman....then that was cause for concern.

During this time Jess had tied up a struggling Shiro and unconscious Manami together, along with having dragged James and Jessica over before tying them up. She was quite efficient at it really, like she was used to it or something....
"....Come on Jess. As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. They couldn't have gone too far."Mai reluctantly let go of Sora's shirt before gesturing to her sister to follow. The two quickly made their way out as Sora walked over to James and Amelia, leaving the beaten and tied up dark wizards on the ground behind of him.
"If you need help explaining I'll help. We know more about this group than most, and we also need a place to detain these wizards. My sealing magic won't keep them in check forever." Sora shoved his hands in his pockets as he talked. In truth he wasn't too sure what to do with Manami, Jessica or James so he figured this guild might know what to do with them. He figured that this was a win-win for everyone here, Sora had a place to keep these dangerous wizards and they got information. Sora himself could also gain information so really he had nothing to lose by making this proposal.
At about this same time Cody had trudged over, looking rather....down. He had been useless for that entire encounter, in the end all he did was start the chain of events by trying to attack Nidhogg. He was also feeling a little tired since he had used a spell he wasn't quite used to just yet.
"Why don't we ask her?" Cody suggested as he pointed towards the rather grumpy looking Shiro, who at this stage was also trying to drag herself and Manami away. But due to the fact she was tied up, it was kinda difficult since she could only move her legs, so she had to dig her heels into the ground and drag herself using just the strength remaining in her legs.
"....Damn she's persistent." Sora couldn't help but feel impressed and respect the fact that she was STILL trying to get away, despite her injuries, the fact he had sealed her magic and tied her up. Add that to the current weight of the unconscious Manami, and this was a rather impressive escape attempt.

As the wind died down Ethel made sure that Verrick would land softly on the ground before her skin lost the metallic shine. She really wished that Sora would give them some warning before he did stuff like this, but she doubted he ever will.
Most of the Chu's had been blown into a pile nearby at this stage, and they were all perfectly fine and unharmed for some strange reason, except for one. This one had made it's way over to Ethel and cried out 'Chu' at her feet.
It was the one she had bought earlier from Verrick. Bending down, she gently picked the creature up before dusting it off and turning to face Verrick however it was then that the back of Cody came into view. All she saw was the hair mainly due to his cloak, but she was sure of it. It had to be him.

"Ugh..." Verick rubbed the back of his head after everything had gone down, this was getting really crazy and hell he didn't even know half of what was going on anymore but he did know he was getting annoyed by all this fighting. "ALRIGHT! THAT'S ALL WELL AND GOOD!" He brushed himself off and pat Ethel on the head. "Thanks kid." He cleared his throat and looked at the pile of Chu's. "...Alright, Well... least they are ok I suppose." He rubbed the back of his head and groaned, he'd need to sell these things off quickly just so he didn't have to feed all of them. "Are we all good now!?" Verick shouted, "Are we all fine? Is this all good? Can we talk this out now? Maybe NOT send whirlwinds and tornado's and crazy other crap!" He pointed to his pile of Chu's. "I LITERALLY MAKE THIS STUFF! I'm not some crazy uber mage that's going to create storms and massive water and other crap! So how about we drop this down to my level.... We talk it out And... NOT TRY TO KILL ME!" He shouted towards Sora.

ENMA

The oni just laid on his back, looking up at Ike with a deadpanned expression on his face. "You may have dropped me, but that doesn't changed the fact that you have a stick up your ass." He hopped from his back up to his feet, brushing the dust off himself. Normally he would've been pissed at something so stupid, but he wasn't. Something was wrong, he could feel this sense of dread creeping down his spine. "Gabriel, Mercury. Do you feel that? There's something going on. We need to hurry." Perhaps it was because he was a yokai he could feel a great disturbance in nature, but that hardly mattered now. He could sense an impending doom.

The oni grabbed the rope and begun to climb up to Ike. He was climbing as fast as he could with an urgency that was unheard of from this man. The normally carefree oni was afraid that something horrible was going on and they needed to get back to their base.

@Caits
FERRIS

"God, this stench is tenacious." He kept scrubbing his body in the shower, annoyed at how much effort it's taking to get the smell off. Ferris sighed and leaned back against the shower wall. Did he really tell her that he loved her? Where in the world did that come from? Was it just the heat of the moment? While lost in thought, the temperature of the water went from a pleasant toasty warm to a cruel, icy cold that broke him out of the moment. "Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold!"

Later, Ferris was out of his shower and dressed in blue jeans and a black sweater that was obviously a size too big, but very comfortable. He crashed on the bed and sighed, feeling like he could use the rest of the day to rest his weary bones. Ferris noticed however that there was a piece of paper on the bedside and he reached over to grab it. His face flushed red and he placed the piece of paper quickly on the nightstand. She loved him? She actually loved him? Hell he didn't even read the rest of the note and just laid there letting it sink in.

He chuckled and then laughed, thinking how cute she was for being so open with her feelings. Jessie may be a strong woman, but damn she was adorable.

@Expolar@Lmpkio
NOLAN

Nolan was about to fly away on his cloud of ashes, away from the this stupid drunkard. Never had he felt so humiliated in all his life! To be called weak after all of his training, all of his efforts only to be dismissed so easily! At least that damn hag had subdued him and was going to throw him in some cell deep within the prisons of Crocus. Knowing that gave him some satisfaction, well, at least until the old bastard copped a feel of Saya's butt and sent her reeling on her back. "Hag!" Nolan was only paying attention to Saya being blasted to the ground since he had expected only Frye to deal with them. Oh how wrong he was. Within the span of a few seconds, the guards that had surrounded him were all laying on the ground bleeding out to death and then the citizens that he had gathered were all trapped in a ball of earth hovering in the air. God dammit, the citizens trapped in that spehere were Frye's insurance.

"You miserabel piece of-" Nolan was silenced by the preposterous amount of magic power that Fyre had. It dwarfed his own many times over, there was no way that this was for real. The God Slayer was feeling something inside him that he hadn't felt in a long, long time: fear. The brave, stoic mage was afraid of this man's power. Sweat ran down his head as he felt like he was in the presence of a titan rather than a human. Fyre's power loomed over Nolan, eclisped him as if the sun had swallowed the moon. He was going to die here.

He didn't notice, but his entire body was shaking like a leaf in the wind. There were many powerful mages that he had faced in the past, but none had instilled this primal fear that Frye could bring. For those that would believe him to be cowardly, they would forget one simple thing about Nolan; he's still a kid. As mature as he tried to act and as powerful he himself was, he was still a kid who had only ventured out into the big, wide world after his home was destroyed, wanderingly aimlessly with a vague sense of purpose in life. He was just a kid, a scared kid wandering in a cruel world.

Nolan didnt notice Saya nodding to him; his fear had a tight grip on him. This was looking bad for the Council member; the guards were laying out on the ground, bleeding to death while the citizens of Crocus were trapped within a massive sphere of earth hovering in the air. To top it all of, she would have to face a mage whose power dwarfed her own. This situation couldn't get worse.

"I'm not a child, so please don't treat me like I am" Michael said softly, looking to Samir briefly, "there's been dark guild activity for years. He isn't the instigator for the attacks on ligjt guilds. They attack because they don't care" he looked back to Wes, to see what he would say or do.

Penny
@Lunarlors34
Penny looked down as well, it wouldn't surprise her if there was a battle going on down there. It seemed like they couldn't go five minutes without one battle or another. "probably" she said, "Master Jamie or the guild will deal with it, don't worry" she said, "we can go look if you want, but we might just be adding more confusion"

master Jamie
@GamerXZ
Jamie studied the Sprite with curiosity, listening as they both spoke. "well, of course we will help. There is indeed a lot of magic in this city, particularly right now, but whether it is the magic you seek, well we will just have to find out." she said, "My husband might be more help in that, Jarvis's lacrima Magic is generally suited for such a task. He and our daughter should be at our hotel, if you would like to come with me. Our members are spread about at the moment, but all I am sure will be happy to help"

jessie
@hatakekuro
Jessie stood at the door, with a frown. She couldn't get in without possibly charming the lock, and she had knocked, but guessed Ferris was still in the shower. She could go down and ask to be let in by the manager, but where was the fun in that?

She crouched, examining the locking mechanism. A simply charm would do the trick. She muttered a few words, and was satisfied to hear the click, opening the door. She trotted in happily, seeing Ferris on the bed she headed over, seeing the red flush to his cheeks as she sat down, "Any reason why you are blushing?" she asked cheerfully, swinging about to lay on the bed beside him.

gabriel
@oblivion666@lugubrious
Gabriel nodded, looking up worriedly, he waited for Enma to reach the top, before grabbing the rope and scrambling up it as well. This was difficult, as the rope moved, but also because he had to use the strength of his arms, as he climbed, but there was something to be said for fear, and adrenaline. Something was happening, and they needed to be out of this hole and helping.

As he reached the top, he was panting, pulling himself up and over, he scrambled up to his feet, drawing in deep breaths, he glanced about, expecting almost something dark and horrible looming down on them.

He left dog down the hole with Mercury, to de-summon when Mercury was out as well.

He wondered just what the hell Leo was doing, and hoped he was being an asset, rather than a hinderance.

Rosalina Idwal
"I'd do anything to feel your warmth again."

@Zarkun

Quick and to the point; this man was already making it into Rosalina's good books. From his description of the man, she already knew who it was he was looking for. Yes, no one would forget a man with such prominent features such as a missing hand and an eye patch.
"Yes, my Knights and I successfully apprehended him quite some time ago". Rosalina paused, giving the man a perplexed look. "He was judged and sentenced accordingly and now works under me as a Rune Knight. Unfortunately I can't go around giving strangers personal details or whereabouts of the Knights or where they are to be stationed". Rosalina stopped to consider why this man would be interested in finding one of her Knights. She addressed him bluntly.
"You wish to settle a past grudge, I assume?" Over the years, Rosalina had heard her fair share of individuals seeking out their own means of vigilante justice. In a way she understood, the old council was easily swayed by outside influences when dealing with certain criminals of a high profile. However the man this stranger sought was no such person. He was just a bandit that the council saw fit to send to Rosalina. She had assumed he'd done some morally reprehensible things, but his service to the Knights was infallible.

"Leave it be," She began, staring down the man with a stern expression. "Whatever it is you seek this man for, leave it be. He has made a new life for himself with the Knights. We can't change the past, but nobody deserves to be haunted by it". Rosalina couldn't tell if she was talking for her comrade or herself. In the last day she had been forced to remember the moment all those years ago when her perfect world shattered. Her heart ached and she wanted nothing more to forget. No doubt the man Mako sought had done things he wished to forget. Rosalina knew the suffering her past actions brought her in the deepest hours of the night and she wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

Isabella and Bullet
"Everyone who should have cared about me didn't. You've always been the first."

@Zarkun

Bullet remained silent as the three of them departed to the food court. Isabella had been ecstatic about Jane's idea, starting to feel her energy slumping towards the late afternoon. Their walk was filled with the sound of Isabella fussing over Jane for not eating breakfast.
"You're in the guild with us now, so don't think you can get away with skipping breakfast. While we were on the road on our last mission Bullet made the most amazing beef stew. You must make it for Jane one day, Bullet." Her statement was met with silence as Bullet stared off into the distance, feeling a little embarrassed about his conversation with Jane. He was pulled out of his daydream by a quick punch in the arm from his best friend. He barely flinched at her flimsy excuse for a punch, smiling arrogantly instead.
"Sure, yeah. I'm a pretty good cook, so I'll have to show off my expertise to Jane some day." He tried to play it off as if he hadn't said anything earlier, which only made him feel guilty.

Isabella stared at him for a moment with a concerned look, able to tell something was wrong. Rather than alarming Jane, she opted to set it aside for now and address her friend in private about it. Turning to the various stalls, she quizzically beamed at Jane.
"I simply cannot decide! What should we start with? I don't want to fill up at one place so let's pace ourselves."

Mako Kurohiko, Exiled Warrior|Crocus City

"Yes, my Knights and I successfully apprehended him quite some time ago". Rosalina paused, giving the Mako a perplexed look, one he could understand, as he hadn't yet given his reason for looking for him. "He was judged and sentenced accordingly and now works under me as a Rune Knight. Unfortunately I can't go around giving strangers personal details or whereabouts of the Knights or where they are to be stationed". She stopped for a moment and seemed to be thinking. Mako waiting, knowing full well what she was thinking about and the semi-correct conclusion she was going to come to.

"You wish to settle a past grudge, I assume?" Mako shook his head, indicating the most obvious part of his tattoo.

"Far from it, Miss Idwal. I am a man of Isval, member of the Kurohiko family. To seek him out only to settle a grudge easier settled by a card game or something of the like is ridiculous even by our standards." However, it would seem she didn't hear him as she continued.

"Leave it be," She began, staring down at Mako with a stern expression the young Isval man found to be quite comical. "Whatever it is you seek this man for, leave it be. He has made a new life for himself with the Knights. We can't change the past, but nobody deserves to be haunted by it". Mako shook his head, ready to argue his point or fight if he had to.

"I am afraid I cannot do that, Miss Idwal. And it is...not recommended you stand between an Isval man and his path to regain his honor. Five years ago, he killed a diplomat in my charge from Isval on the Fiore side of the border. Because I failed to protect the man as was my charge, in order to reclaim my honor, I must kill the man who killed my charge." He does nothing to betray his movements, as he hadn't moved from his casual stance, but he tensed for some reason. "Fiore and Isval, despite the loss of this diplomat, are on good terms with each other as trade partners and recognize the cultural differences between them. During my search for this man, a member of another family from Isval, one Sadako Arakida if memory serves, had a similar matter. Fiore's royal family acknowledged her right to seek out the man who'd taken her honor. And I now exercise mine."

Jane Addeson|Mall Food Court

Bullet remained silent as the three of them departed to the food court. Isabella had been ecstatic about Jane's idea, starting to feel her energy slumping towards the late afternoon. Their walk was filled with the sound of Isabella fussing over Jane for not eating breakfast and suddenly the young energy blade mage was regretting bringing it up. After all, it wasn't as if she did it all the time, and it wasn't like she'd die if she did it that one day. "You're in the guild with us now, so don't think you can get away with skipping breakfast. While we were on the road on our last mission Bullet made the most amazing beef stew. You must make it for Jane one day, Bullet." Jane turned to see Bullet's face at that comment, but noticed he was lost in space after their brief conversation. She started to say something, but Isabella punched his arm when encouraged a response.
"Sure, yeah. I'm a pretty good cook, so I'll have to show off my expertise to Jane some day." Jane giggled and pulled her hilt free from it's place on it's back, spinning it expertly in her hand.

"You might have some competition there. I've been told I make a mean curry." However, before any response could be made by Bullet or Isabella, they reached the court. Turning to the various stalls, Isabella quizzically beamed at Jane.

"I simply cannot decide! What should we start with? I don't want to fill up at one place so let's pace ourselves." To be honest, neither could Jane, but she didn't want to hit all of the stalls, just one place was fine with her. Still, she decided to humor Isabella's idea.

"Why don't we start at some place that has something you haven't tried yet? I mean, living on the lamb makes for rare opportunities to eat at places like this, so I haven't had any of it."

For both of the travelers, hearing what Jamie had to say actually managed to ignite a spark of hope in their hearts, especially a certain Sprite's as her eyes lit up like stars, "Really?! Oh my gosh, that would be wonderful! Thank you!" She grabbed Alan's hand and started shaking it vigorously, "You hear that, Alan? We finally, FINALLY got a lead! Now it's only a matter of time before we find out who I really am!"

"Hehe...yeah..." Alan nodded in agreement, not having the heart to tell her that she shouldn't get too excited as this could be a dead end, and besides, he wanted his companion to be happy, and this was as happy as she had been in a long time, especially since it wasn't as a result of food. He turned to Jamie, "Thank you, Guild Master. Please, lead the way."

Thor

Thor wasn't able to push Harper out of the cloud but instead Harper decided to do something else. She flung herself at the monster, Thor gasped for a moment when she avoided Thor's push and looked after her as she jumped at it. Thor bit her lip, this couldn't end well for the poor girl. Harper stabbed one of her shurikens into the monster its eyes which seemed to have a lot of result. Thor was happy for her that it worked but still didn't believed it was good for the girl her own safety. Just as said Harper was thrown at the ground. It didn't sound all too good, like a bunch of sticks being stepped upon. Thor looked in shock at the scene. The foot of the monster almost crushed her friend that was unable to move, luckily Ashlyn was fast enough to dismantle the creature blowing it too bits. Thor shook her head looking more serious now, she made her way over to harper shoving the giant foot of the helpless body as Ashlyn lifted her up in her arms. Thor scanned over Harper's body to find something sharp and noticed that she had a few shurikens on her at the moment. Thor quickly grabbed one of them and placed her left hand on the ground. Her eyes widened as she raised the shuriken up into the air and struck it down with impact into her own hand to concentrate rather than having these suicidal thoughts from the curse. She bowed down in pain and was quick to get the shuriken out again. In tears she bound her hand and threw the shuriken aside.

That aside she terrifyingly looked at the half dead girl, she needed healing and fast. Ashlynn was on the case but probably hadn't realised Thor was able to heal a whole lot too. She could have closed the wounds without leaving a single scar but that didn't matter right now. It would be to slow to stop the bleeding in time, the only thing she could do now was make sure her ruptured organs would close a little. They would still need surgery after but it wouldn't cause a whole lot of damage on the insides of the girl. Thor sat across Ashlynn as she placed one of her hands on the back of Harper's neck and the other one on a few places of her upper body. She healed as much as she could before looking up scared, terrified at Ashlynn. She seemed to have her shit together at least a little.

Ashlyn asked Thor to get Sander as quick as possible, Thor gave the girl a quick reassuring nod. Speed, that was one of her specialities. Thor stood up and felt the rain drip down onto her head and reached for it in pain. She flung the cloak hood over her head and wanted to sprint away but noticed Ashlyn. She was a fire magician immediately came to mind. She definitly looked worried but not only about the girl, also the weather. Thor looked down in pain for a moment but decided she needed it more. She walked to the back of Ashlyn and placed the cloak over her body and head. She then scanned around the area a little and noticed a nearby tree.

She broke off one of the branches with her healthy hand and placed each hand on one end of the stick. Her hair turned light blue and started slowly levitating behind her. The stick became pitch black and suddenly broke out in flames in the middle. She bit her lip and made her way back towards Ashlyn. She placed the stick of fire close towards her and undid her scarf which she then threw onto the small fire. She liked the scarf and always wore it but that was unimportant. Hopefully she did enough for the girl now to make Harper last long enough for help. She gave the girl a small kind smile and then dashed off like lightning into the sky. The rain hurted her, each and every drip she could feel. Her hands were pitch black, burned from the heat created by herself.

Soaring through the sky made her body shiver. The cold air, the rain it was all making the trip worse for her. Her cheeks reddened as her eyes started closing little by little. She started going less fast and the lighting around her seemed to dispers. Her light flickered lightly and eventually it just stopped. Her eyes closed for a moment. This was it, she was gonna fall, her mana pool was empty. She needed electricity, no she had to get to Sanders. Her body had traveled through the sky for a little bit but was about to hit ground. With full force she hit the top of a roof making her body loop more than a few times. Her lighting reactivated before she hit the ground, her eyes looked tiring as she gained altitude again. Just past the roofs she flew, her eyes scanning for Sanders.

After a few more seconds her eyes focused on Sanders and friends. The rain didn't hurt her anymore, her face turned pale white as her hair fell onto her back again returning to her normal blonde color. She was able to adjust her flight but there wasn't gonna be a save landing. Her body fell to the ground, being either catched or tumbled over the ground she made her way over to Sanders. She slightly opened her eyes once more before to deliver the message with a peaceful smile on her face.

"Harper... in danger..."

She stretched out her arm towards a general direction where they would be and fell unconscious leaving the rest to Sanders.

"Trail mix is healthy and good. There are bits of chocolate in it."

The swordswoman's eyes narrowed at the confirmation of the speedster's abhorrent taste, serving only to heighten the irritation in her expression. Almost as though proving a point, she ate a large handful of trail mix. Nuts, cereal, dried fruit, chocolate. Perfectly healthy, high in protein, and good for complex carbohydrates to keep one energized for longer spans of time without getting hungry. Not that the fickle aggravation that was currently the subject of her ire would know, given his penchant for the unhealthy form of food known as barbecue. Among other such dietary indiscretions. It would come back to haunt him when he grew old, and in that she found some small balm for her irritation. Such musings, however, were not relevant to their present task; nor would she permit herself to rise to any other barb. Such responses were counterproductive, and indeed only served to enhance his amusement at the situation.

Schooling her features back into a stoic expression, as per her usual modus operandi, and ate a little more trail mix followed by a long sip from her canteen. Stowing the canteen at her waist again and doing the same with her trail mix, she retrieved a piece of jerky and consumed that instead. She would return to her snack later, once she grew hungry again. Perhaps once she no longer had to deal with the speedster.

"Why do you not run ahead again? Perform reconnaissance."

Angel Ferrara

"That might not be such a bad idea," the trap agreed airily. "You're the fastest of the four of us, Kaia can't scout, and between Cyare and I we have enough heavy hitters to take out anything you might lead over. Plus you can let us know if there's any good fruit up ahead!"

At the rate they were going through pears, there wouldn't be enough for the morning's fruit salad. That, plus the subpar quality of campfire coffee, was probably gonna put Cyare down a cruel trajectory:

Groggy -- Slow to awaken --> Slow in a fight (Grouchy) --> Potentially hurt (Potential facial wrinkles) --> Not cute

Angel's slim jaw set, newly determined.

"If you find anything, I can be right behind you. I know this terrain pretty well myself. No two people will fall for the same trap."

Mayt Derren Marris - Train

(Foul language warning)
Mayt lurched slightly as the train began moving, and shifted the magazine he had in his hands so that the shift didn't bother his reading any. He didn't know exactly how long the trip was going to be, but he had brought along some blankets, as it was already getting fairly late and he'd need sleep eventually. After finishing several articles in the magazine he had been reading Mayt decided to go ahead and try to get some shuteye, but just as he got into a comfortable position against the window he looked up to see a rather suspicious individual walking down the corridor of the train. They were dressed in a crimson cloak, a simple blank mask covering their face, and dark clothes covering the rest of their body; if that wasn't suspicious, Mayt didn't know what was. He was just getting up when he saw them stop next to one of the sleeping passengers.

"Geez, you look like shit," said a female voice near Mayt, catching him off-guard. However, when he looked towards the source of the voice no-one was there, and by the time his attention had returned to the suspicious individual before him they were already in the middle of stabbing the sleeping passenger they had been standing beside. Mayt cursed under his breath and drew his weapon.

"Hey!" He shouted at them as he quickly approached. The dark mage turned towards Mayt, and magically produced a sword not unlike his own before attacking. Mayt parried the attack and made one of his own, only to have it caught in another blade identical to the previous one, throwing him off balance. The figure then would kick Mayt in the chest, sending him to the floor of the train, before turning and making a quick getaway to the front of the car.

He groaned slightly as he hit the floor hard, and was shortly glad he had been knocked on his ass as he noticed a what seemed like a bomb under the seat besides him. In the future he would describe how it looked simply as 'Angry,' though at the time he didn't really bother coming up with the description. "Shit, everyone take cover!" He quickly rolled onto his feet and covered his ears. The bomb took just long enough for it to feel awkward before detonating, throwing the train of the tracks voilently. Mayt felt more than heard several other explosions along the rest of the length of the train.

Mayt grunted and groaned as he slowly started forcing himself to stand up, mentally feeling around his body for anything that was broken. From what he could tell, it all was or none of it was. Judging by how well getting up seemed to be working, he was inclined to believe the latter, though when he put his left hand against the ground to pusdh himself up his wrist hurt like almost nothing he had ever felt before. He cursed under his breath as he rolled onto his back, away from the throbbing pain, before starting to slowly move to his feet without using that particular limb.

"Damn... Dark Guilds... Ruining all my clothes..." He muttered, trying to distract himself from the pain. It wasn't working. Once he reached his feet he looked around for his sword, and winced slightly as he noticed it impaled in a body. He limped over to it and grabbed the hilt, closing his eyes and wincing again as he slowly pulled it from its resting place, not being able to bring himself to look at the corpse.

Once he had finished that endevour, he turned around to survey the scene. To say it was bad was an understatement; there were bodies, debris, parts of trains, and so on strewn about around him. This was the kind of thing Mayt had heard causes PTSD, and he felt a twinge of worry before noticing the cloaked individual was standing, looking completely fine, over by the overturned train. Readying his sword, Mayt approached them cautiously. They had shown to be more powerful than him once, and he wasn't quite so beat up then.

"Hey! Who are you?" The mage turned around and looked at Mayt, their featureless mask unnerving him slightly. "What do you want? Why did you attack this train?" Mayt shouted at them, halfway between furious and afraid. They didn't respond, and simply looked at him. Mayt hesitated some, judging the situation. He doubted he could take them on in a fight, but that was probably the only way he'd get an answer. He sighed heavily, and mentally hated himself for what he was about to say.

"Alright, well I'm not stupid enough to try and fight you, so do whatever you're going to do and go away. Unless it's killing me, in which case I guess we'll have to fight," Mayt said, leaving the tip of his weapon against the dirt. The masked mage said nothing as they turned and walked away from the burning train, and Mayt sighed heavily before starting to move around the area serching for survivors, he found a few, but not nearly as many as he would have hoped. Once he got a moment he checked his pockets for the lacrima with his guild, and cursed again as he couldn't find it.

"Agh, dammit. Grr... I hope that Jarvis notices I disappeared then," he muttered to himself as he started making his way towards where the front of the train had fallen over. They probably had a way of communicating with HQ, right? Mayt took a deep breath as he walked. They were well more than a days walk from the nearest town, and that was assuming everyone could walk at a normal pace, which he knew wasn't possible.

Gregory Vale -- A While Ago
Gregory watched Rosalina's actions solemnly, and he took a breath, producing his own knife and slicing his hand in a simmilar manner. "It'd be prudent to be careful who you share your blood with," he'd take her hand in his firmly. "I know a few people who would use it to undo you," his voice would be calm but firm, and he would look her in the eye, quickly changing the subject. "I vow on my blood, that I will do all that I can to help you and Luna to expung her of the title 'Dark Wizard.'"

As their hands released, Gregory offered Rosalina one last smile, before handing her a lacrima with his uncut hand. "I'll contact you through this when it's time, or through a paper airplane in your window, whichever is most convenient," at this, he would turn to leave her there, figuring the matter handled for that evening. "Stay alive, Rosalina, it'd be a shame to see a lovely lady such as yourself dead."

Amelia frowned. She knew James had a point, even if she herself didn't like that point. But picking another fight right after the current one ended was pointless, so she would have to let it go for now. Sighing to herself, she looked down at the Chu's that were around her before picking up three of them. She then walked over to Verrick and looked up at him.
"I'm taking these three. Don't ever bring up a my chest size again." She said, her face growing a bit red as she spoke, before walking away and over to Phlegethon. Looking up at her spirit, she decided to answer James' inquiry about Joshua and Amaya. "Do you know where Mr. Joshua and Miss Amaya are?"

"They are below us. They got sent to the sewers earlier and had a small skirmish. Do you want me to bring them up?" The reaper asked.

"Yes please. Can you send me to Mama then?"

"Of course Milady."

As soon as the words came out, a portal opened next to James and Joshua and Amaya tumbled out, with Joshua making sure he was between Amaya and the ground.
"Oh good... fresh air." He breathed. He had a few cuts from where the blades tendrils had managed to get past his blade and nicked him, but he hadn't suffered any serious injuries. Slowly sitting up, he sniffed his cloths and pretty much ignored everyone else around them. "Phew. Okay, you and I definitely need shower now, eh Amaya?"

Amelia meanwhile, was sent through a portal to Jamie's location, appearing next to her mother. Turning towards Jamie, she gave her mother a slight bow, making sure not to drop any of the Chu.
"I'm sorry about earlier Mama. I know you wanted to spend time as a family but... it was something I felt I needed to take care of." She said, not looking up, as she was sure Jamie was at least a little upset with her, even after giving Amelia permission to leave earlier.

Wes Gusto| Crocus, Café
@Lmpkio@Caits

So what is it? Is that just an excuse? Or are you ashamed of something you have done?" Michael seemed to have found a hidden strength, not turning away, as he stared at Wes. Nor did he seem to care that he was probably angering Wes.

"I-I think that's enough," she says towards the young man as he tries to defuse any growing feelings amongst them, "Please excuse him Wes-san. I suppose there are some strong feelings that have some aftershocks still attached you know?"

"I'm not a child, so please don't treat me like I am" Michael said softly, looking to Samir briefly, "there's been dark guild activity for years. He isn't the instigator for the attacks on ligjt guilds. They attack because they don't care" he looked back to Wes, to see what he would say or do.

Wes was becoming upset by how Michael acted, but he could understand what Michael was saying. But Wes still didn’t like the idea that he was part of an event that he didn’t want to be involved in. Leaning forward, Wes’s eyes connected with Michael’s stare. ”I rather not have my name, my identity, be used as an additional excuse or reason to resort to violence.”

Although he was upset inside, he couldn’t really show the two had just met each other. But at the same time, he couldn’t help but remember how his old teacher, the man that thought him his magic, framed him for a crime that he didn’t do. ”I don’t condone violence that could have been avoided. I could understand the sense of violence being used as self defense or for a greater a good, but I still worry about the consequences. When any difficult or dangerous situation arrives, I always prefer to try and risk the pacifist route. Any other guild might have fought the corrupted Council, but I would still wish that they could have resolved the problem through little to no violence. It may be a false hope and unrealistic to believe everything could be solved without violence in the world that we live in. But that is the world that I wish could be real or at least imagine could happen in the far distance future.”

Wes was going to wait to see anyone had anything to say until he sensed a sudden burst of magical power coming from the eastern part of the city. He rushed up as he was curious about this magic, slowly began to stepped away from the table. ”You two felt that? We… I should see what that was.” He said as he shivered at the thought of what that power was.

Frye Gauss| Eastern Part of Crocus
@hatakekuro@Lmpkio

Before he could turn around and walk away, the Council woman spoke up and threw some needles towards Frye. While Frye’s right index finger was still pointed out controlling the ball of earth in the sky. A simple fool, huh

As he was about try to stop the needles’ path towards him as they quickly approached him, they decided to split off again. He wished he could swat them away as they flew around like flies, but he wasn’t in the mood of getting stung by one. Instead of trying predict the needles movement to stop them, he decided to stop everything else around him. In a quick motion, Frye raised his left hand up to his, during that moment everything in the surrounding area felt lighter. But just as he quickly raised his hand, he swung it down as fast by a few inches and the gravity became incredibly heavy that the needles feel straight into the ground. The gravity was strong enough that the surrounding buildings instantly collapsed from the intense force of the gravity and the ground fractured more and eventually into a growing crater as his hand slowly descended down.

Although he was in the center of the intense gravity, he wasn’t phase by it as he floated in the same place. Seeing as this woman didn’t care about what he said early, Frye bent his right index finger down to send the ball of earth with the captive civilians crashing down. But he didn’t feel anything from where the spherical earth should be. He looked up to see that it somehow vanished. Thanks to Saya’s distraction, Grane was able to teleport the civilians that were trapped in the ball of earth to a safer location.

Frye gritted his teeth with annoyance and decided to just crush the fallen people near death. But before he could make a downward movement with his hand, Frye could sense Grane teleport behind him. As Grane was about to try nullifying the area of magic and prevent Frye from using his magic, Frye was fast enough to prevent Grane from doing anything by jerking his elbow back to create an intense force of gravity to send the Council member flying back away from him. But Grane would only teleport back behind Frye again to finish his nullification magic.

The intense gravity that caused the crater reverted back to normal and Frye soon began to fall from where he was floating. Once his feet landed on the ground, Grane was about to push Frye to the ground with a jab across the face. Planetary Force Series, Intensified Assault. With a smirk, Frye was able to stand his ground against the lizardman by meeting the jab with his own fist. Each attack and block against Grane was all being enhanced with an intense amount of extra force that was more than enough against the Council member’s own attack. That and his increased movement increased allowed Fyre to do some dodges that made it difficult for Grane to land most of his attacks while the added speed made it easier for Frye to attack Grane before the lizardman could do anything to stop him.

It was surprising to see a wizard be able to still use their magic in a field that was nullifying magic. But Frye had something that he carried for these situations that would be annoying to deal with if he was actually nullified. The jacket duster that Frye wore had runes engraved inside that protected him from being nullified. But the protection only affected wearer’s body and not the surrounding from being nullified.

The two continued their fight, but things weren’t looking good for Grane. The nullification field that he placed in the area also affected him, making it difficult for him to use any magic to going against Frye’s speed as he moved around Grane and attacked with great force. But Grane was still glad that Frye's magic only affected Frye body and not around outside his body. Without the nullification field, Frye would of been far to dangerous to handle alone. While they fought, Grane allowed the nullification field to shrink over time and hoped this would allow enough time for Saya to restrain Frye.

"Well..."
Verick blinked a little bit. "I guess that happened." He coughed into his hand and looked around. "So uh... Kid... Old man..." He didn't really know what was going to happen now, He knew at leas the fighting was over and he wasn't entirely sure if the mission was complete or not complete or still in the process... Man this place was confusing. Missions were hard work, more work than he expected at least. "Still got my chu's though... except those three she stole. Gonna have to charge her for that if I see her again. No one gets away with my Chu's and doesn't pay me the two thousand jewels they cost!" This number, had ofcourse, doubled since the last pricing incident. Now that he knew he could easily get 1k for them, why not try for more?

"we do have a couple of rooms left in the hotel, if you wish to have one, and we pretty much have a running tab for the food." She said brightly

Alan nodded and followed along, now feeling as if they finally had a chance to get some answers. He and Aura kept close and for once, his partner was actually able to contain her excitement...though he felt it was partially cause she just wanted to make a good first impression on the Guild Master.

As one might expect though, the moment Jamie mentioned there was a running tab on the food, Aura's eyes seemed to grow so big that they were almost bigger than her head, "R-Really? Oh my gosh, I...I...I must be in paradise!" She then swooned on the spot and drifted down into Alan's arms.

Instead of being annoyed though, the wizard-to-be actually chuckled, "Well, I think it's safe to say you just made a friend for life...and yeah, I think we might take you up on that offer. Sleeping outside is nice and all but after a while you start to miss things like hot meals, showers, and a warm bed..."

Ike Riven

He just scoffed and smirked at Mercury getting all pissy now too for Ike's retaliation. "Oh yeah, please tell him how its my fault your ass fell down a hole cause of a fatass, not like my objective was just to retrieve the late ones." He said whether he heard him or not, but he was most certainly not taking the blame for their fuck up. Yet his smirk faded when despair just crushed down on him, causing his eyes to go wide in fear as a black fog blanketed the entire area, it was almost similar to the feeling he had being trapped for so long. Only this feeling just hammered the nail right into his head. Hell he almost lost the rope on accident this time when Enma grabbed it, yet he clutched it and held on as he had "two" feelings on him burning giving him hope to thrive on. His Frenzy Plant mark on his neck, and then his shark tattoo on his arm. He was confused as to why they were both giving him the courage to go on. Once all three got up the rope would vanish and he would face where the chapel was. "So you three want to go destroy whatever the hell is causing this feeling?" Ike asked with both fear and anger evident in the look of his eyes as he already took off running towards the chapel. This feeling... I will not let this feeling keep haunting me! Whatever is causing it is going to die! His eyes would flash as he would start absorbing energy on the way to the Chapel.

@Everyone in Belka
Riona Ynnir

Her giving the report was meet with swift action and new orders, which was obvious to join everyone at the chapel. She nodded and took off running again with the others, panting at first yet Riggs magic was giving her all her energy back which was very much welcomed. Yet as they got closer this dark fog covered the area setting her mind to fear and hopelessness. It reminded her of when she was kicked out of Shark Attack, for a mistake she made. Having to survive on her own as well as knowing if she ever told anyone about them that they would kill her. She knew what some of those guys were capable of and it scares her to this very day. yet this feeling was far worse. She at least had hope then, this however just tosses whatever feeling she had and replaced it with negativity. Yet she wouldn't give up and it had to do with two marks burning brightly on her. Telling her to keep going. Her Frenzy Plant mark and Shark Attack mark, She clutched her chest and bite her lip as she continued marching on. Her eyes flash a black color as she prepared herself for the upcoming fight, praying no one would die during it.
