Well, seeing as most of us already have a sheet out, anyone wants to make up some relationship? Jagred could be known among the Diamonds for obvious reasons, but he was also known for picking fights with Clubs in his younger years, so those higher in the ladder might also have heard of him.

@MaeI'm good, I just threw out the character I was planning because I had an idea I liked way better XD. I might take a bit to finish it, and I'll PM you and run it by you first, but I think it'll be pretty cool.

@Mae I'm floating around. I have to actually put pen to paper and flesh out one of my 'varied' character ideas, such as...

A heart prince used to getting what he wants, twisting the emotions of others when he doesn't get his way for his amusement.

A noble spade delving so far into research of spells, he neglects to think about if he should know, let alone use them.

A spade with a kind heart, using his magic to stall or incapacitate his enemies rather than kill.

A club simply striving to do the best he can, in a world that tells him his best is never enough. Especially after... (friend's death, crushes rejection, etc.)

A diamond, son of a necromancer, avoiding his spirituality and magic to avoid becoming his father. Also, how having a known necromancer as a part of the family would affect standing.

Yeah... anyone feel free, if you need a jump point, to use these. They're generic enough, except the diamond, to be used multiple times over. At least as starter ideas. :P

I have noticed that bit about provided accomondation though. We're having roommates?

@RedDusk yep! Everyone lives in provided accomodation until they can afford (and be allowed to own) their own property and peace out. People may also chose to buy property together to cut rent/house prices. I'm thinking there will be an optional communal eating area and common area in provided accomodation, but of course characters are not forced to use them if they prefer to eat out (slightly more expensive) and about or being around the provided accomodation. Provided Accomodation also don't experience accomodation events, so you're safe from bad things happening, but also good things too.

The current system in place means dorm partners will be assigned semi-randomly. I will roll for who the first person on a dorm is: if it's a Heart, they get one other random partner. A Spade gets two roommates. A Club gets 3 and a Diamond gets 4. Room quality is assigned by the spread of suits in a room. A group of diamonds who were unfortunate enough to share together will live in cramped conditions and squalor. Two hearts will live like kings. A mix of suit also takes into account house numbers.

If provided accomodation isn't for you, there's nothing to stop a character deciding to live elsewhere, either on the street, in town or smuggling themselves into a dorm not assigned to them. However, there will be repercussions - there will be punishment for not following the system, and dangers depending on where you live. Someone on the streets is going to have a lot harder time then someone who's snuck into a heart dorm and is living in their room-sized closet, but the later is more likely to be caught for it.

@Mae What if you are living in your proper accommodation and sneaking/being invited to sneak into others dorms? Because let's be honest That's what Acron will probably do.

When Acron is sneaking around there would be a chance of getting caught. Rent will depend on whether he's freeloading or not, events will depend on where he is.

Also I'm wondering if people want to get cracking with building a couple of relationships up :D
