Hold on now, now we're just deliberately not remembering things.
I did try to negotiate at that conference, and your guys said that I'd take the territory I was given and I'd like it or else. There was no attempt at trying to reach a compromise, and no time to do so because the Tyrands decided to drop in and ruin everything before anyone could actually agree to any deals that might be presented. And Ba'al chose to not go to the second meeting as a negotiating tactic, but it seems like that won't matter because your guys don't need the Goa'uld to actually win this fight.
I have been willing to negotiate, hell, would have loved to. But you can't really negotiate when every other faction thinks that you're a group of primitives who can barely fly a spaceship and aren't worthy of being in the same room much less the same universe.
You know, I'd love to kill a Chryssalid, but given that I was under the impression all your guys lived in orbit I'm not sure where I'd even get one.
As for your other claim, nowhere in this thread was I given the impression that I have complete access to the entire multiverse as I wish. At best it would have been what was accessible by the terminals, and I didn't know where those terminals might go. The multiverse RP aspect was because different things from the multiverse were combined into this one reality. Not because I have unlimited access to infinite realities. At least, I've never been given any indication as such until this moment. Mostly because it would ruin the premise of the RP, but y'know, details.
