That said, we just talked about this, and we decided that we'll likely be extending the number a bit so we don't have to do that, and to allow for a bit more wiggle room if we have people that want to join up later.
I didn't Know this took off. So im going to import my Char from the interest thread. Honestly I want to make a more shooty tactical cyborg char who is the link for the normal Human soldiers that are first responders to the GOD attacks, like recon for the GOD slayers. Instead of a melee Cyborg Ninja char, would that be ok? I also wanted to change number to 5 if its available.
Name: Jakob "Grey Ghost"
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Even with his long black hair, the rest of Jakob's pigment is grey. Neck down his whole body is riddled with scars from multiple augmentation ports and receivers designed for his Armor. The most notable feature in this sickly looking man, both his legs have been taken away from under the knee. Now only two short rods stick a foot out. A bold tattoo of XLIII is placed on his cheek.
Number: 43
Rank: B
Personality: Jakob is usually a quiet individual. Looking around on how others act and interact with each other, rather then doing it himself. Not to say he does it on purpose, it was just always hard connecting with his brothers and sister, especially when he one of the few that possess no real powers. When forced into a situation he cannot get out without embarrassing himself, Jakob is quite nice to talk too. With his softer voice and relaxed attitude on almost all thing, most people don't mind his company.
In his suit, Jakob is clearly changed. Since the suit's mainframe links with the brain of Jakob, causing his personality to change to a more open person and a joker. He best describes it as: "Being on laughing gas, but not wanting to laugh...or having all the fun.".
Likes: Freedom Soda Reading Sunlight Nature Adventure
Dislikes: Mirrors Scary stories Running Being Rushed Jerks Know it all Cruelty
Enhancement(s): -Gungir Cybernetic Power Armor: Created by the Government with God bones and rare metals. While other Antigods were made by genetic manipulation to create powers, Jakob was one of the rare individuals that were made to be able to live multiple augmentations to their body and survive the process. Specifically special Power Armor that was never possible with normal Humans. Increasing his speed and strength to super human levels, while also providing armor plating. The core the fuels the power is similar to Nuclear reactor. While it can continue to push him harder it also can overheat or self destruct in a extremely dangerous explosion. -Gungnir HUD: The pressurized helmet of the GUNGIR power armor gives Ghost with a supply of information in realtime. It also provides different visions such as Night vision, Xray, and Heat. -Gungnir Ghost Cloak: The reason the title "Ghost" was given to Jakob is due to the suit's advanced stealth camouflage technology that is capable of rendering the user virtually invisible to the naked eye. Any small object that comes within contact of the suit also takes the ability, but too many items reduce the overall all quality of the cloak and can overload the device. It is meant to be used in short burst of a few seconds to a minute max, any longer can also possibly overload the device.
Weapon(s): -Govt Issue MP 99: A large pistol that holds 7+1 or 1+2 Projectiles of either: + Reaper .50: Made for Gods and fiends. While weak against greater beast's body, it can produce results in smaller targets and smaller areas of large Gods (Knee, elbows, eyes, etc) + Phoenix 3 Gauge: While only being able to load 2 in one magazine, this shell is made to penetrate the beasts armor or thick skin then setting it aflame, weakening it with chemical fire. -Piston Punches: Each Knuckle in Jakob's fist contains a micro piston that shoots forward just a few centimeters when ever they make contact, causing punches from his fist to be more brutal. -Forearm Blades: Bones from a fallen god, sharpened and wrapped in titanium fiber. Placed on the forearm and retractable when needed.
I wasn't sure if Number One was available or not, so I made my CS on the presumption that is did. If not, then I can change it to eleven if you'd like.
Names: Ai and Yuu
Nicknames: Little Red and Silent Blue; The Gemini Sisters
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Both Ai and Yuu stand at the dainty height of 4'11", weighing roughly around 95 lbs.
Ai was gifted with dark, emerald eyes, and shoulder-length auburn hair, a perpetual scowl is engraved into her childlike features that cause "Little Red" to seem younger than age identifies her as. She dons a red cloak and cowl tied together with an orange ribbon over a white shirt and beige breeches, hiding a surprisingly muscular body that has been trained and modified to the peak of physical fitness.
Yuu possesses platinum-blonde hair that was cut off before it touches her shoulders, framing her smooth, gentle features and dulled, blue eyes as a black bow hangs loftily from her bright colored locks. Her perpetual, light smile warms all who are graced with her presence. A blue mantle with hood is worn ontop of a white dress that cuts right below her knees.
Their numbers are located on the outside of their left thighs in coal black ink as Roman numerals. Predictably, they are not very pivy to showing it off.
Number: 1
Rank: B
Personality: Ai, while not terribly ill-mannered, emulates a misanthropist in how she deals with other people. She keeps her distance, even from her fellow half-brothers and half-sisters, only replying with curt sentences that explain absolutely nothing in-depth. However, she always listens to whatever is said, and juggles it within her mind before giving an answer. The only person she speaks with constantly is her "true sister", and is terribly protective of her, to the point where she gets physical with whomever dares to cause her "sister" discomfort. For whomever can deal with her pelutant attitude, they will be rewarded with a true friend, someone who can open up and share everything about them and expect the same in return. Break that trust, and her habits will spiral into a worse than before, shutting out everyone except the person who has been with her throughout her life.
Yuu, on the other hand, cannot speak at all. Or, if the ability of speech is available to her, she refuses to. Instead, she conveys her feelings through actions, such as butterfly-hands when she's intrigued, waves when discomforted, and hands clasped together when happy. She can even use sign language, usually when something needs to be explained when no one else is around. Not many understand her language of hands, mostly because of her "true sister" getting in the way, but those who do are usually surprised at how snarky she could be if spoken to. Despite all of her speaking deficiencies, Ai can somehow understand what Yuu tries to convey without fail, sometimes without Yuu having to do a single thing, creating some interesting one-sided conversations. Not much phases her compared to others, and keeps a calm, collective state even in the face of dire circumstances. When her "sister" isn't keeping everyone away, Yuu can be a silent friend who can keep company with anyone, even the worst kind of people.
The situation of Mina is a silently unspoken subject between the two, having been separated from her for more than 11 years of their lives. Strangely, she is one of the few things that give Yuu pause, and Ai a reason to speak talkatively, mostly in praise and positives.
Both sisters, no matter what the circumstances, have sworn to protect anyone they can, going out of their way to save civilians and their half-siblings even when it may put them in danger. The only reason Ai agreed to such a thing was Yuu's threat of intentionally stepping into danger without reason if she would not. While they do follow orders to the letter, if it involves breaking their vow, they are willing to fake losing communication in order to carry out their promise.
Yuu • Groups of people • Her fellow AGs • The Happiness of others • Water • Nature • Watching others train • The concept of a normal, human life
Dislikes: Ai • Seeing Yuu hurt • Oath-breakers • Liars, cheats, and the like • Insistent people (sometimes) • Gods and Fiends • Death without reason
Yuu • Unhappiness • Watching others fight and die • The scent of war (smoke, death, etc.) • Fighting with no cause • Fighting without care for others • Bland food • Sticks-in-the-mud (She's trying to get her "sister" to stop being like this. Its not going anywhere.)
Enhancements: *Mina was created to be the ultimate duelist, one who could fight a God one on one and come ontop. Ai and Yuu emulate her to the best of their abilities, fighting single, priority targets while other AG destroy the waves of enemies supporting the targets. • Vision - Ai and Yuu can see farther than the average human, with a whooping full mile of clear sight before bluring. Ai has a magnified sense of detail, giving her an easy time for pointing out weak spots and areas of attention. Yuu's eyes are sensitive to movement and action, even the faintest shimmer of the light is caught by her steady vision.
• Movement - Both of the Gemini Sisters can cover ground quickly, moving up to speeds of 50 mph when not under the effects of adrenaline and even faster under stress. Ai uses quick movements that allow access to all flanks of a target, while Yuu employs elongated movements to keep within Ai's blind spot and block anything that comes their way.
• Strength - The strength to fight a God on equal footing... is not what these two have individually. Rather they use what enhanced strength they DO have to compensate. Denser muscle fibers and skeletal structure along with general enhancements throughout her whole body allow Ai to use enough strength to crush steel alloy with only arm and hand strength, and throw a Fiend with full body movement. Strong but flexible joints and ligaments, coupled with a sturdy body in general gift Yuu with the ability to block at any angle, take hits, and still stand without much wear on her body.
• Reflexes - Both Ai and Yuu can act on a dime, reacting within 1/20th of a second to any threat upon their persons. Whether their bodies are fast enough to handle it, however, has yet to be seen against an enemy faster than the fastest Godslayer.
Weapon(s): • See: Abilities - Heaven's Armory
Abilities: • Convergence - Ai and Yuu, believe it or not, are one and the same. Two halves of the same whole, Mina, that have only a fifth of the original's power, and even less of her potential. They are forbidden from reuniting as Mina until they are ordered to, ontop of the regular limiters, as merely the power released from her awakening created a small crater eleven years previous. While as individuals, their collective rank is B. Mina's current rank, however, has not been disclosed to anyone. This invisible bond between the two has forced them into having connective abilities that can be both boons and banes.
°Spirit Link - The two "sisters" have an intrinsic "link" that ties them together having strange affects such as shaking, nausea, and other withdrawal symptoms when they are separated by more than fifty feet. If one is knocked out, the other will follow moments later, and the same is assumed for death. However, they each have the precognizant ability to understand what the other is thinking, as well as what they may be doing, allowing them to work in perfect tandem without fail.
• Specialized Training - As both parts of the whole named Mina, each sister takes a certain role of the original's power. Ai wields her sword, the offensive portion of combat, while Yuu completes it with her shield, the defensive. Ai has mastered multiple types of close range weaponry, easily changing her style of combat with each weapon. Yuu can efficiently position her shields to take as little damage as possible while still defending her objective entirely, diverting blows as easily as breathing. Their entire lives were trained upon this principle, and both of them can easily cover the other if they fall.
• Heaven's Armory - The Gemini Sisters can create constructs of pure, yellow light, weapons of battle that suit their needs and enemies. Stronger than any human material, these weapons give the two "sisters" an edge over the competition by being usually unbreakable against a normal Fiend. Each weapon created has a set size, and cannot be modified from its original make (Ai's broadsword is five feet long, while her javelin in four foot three, etc). The weapons are created and dismissed within moments, and should a weapon be broken for whatever reason, it can be mended in seconds so long as there is illumination.
°Heaven's Armory: Blade - Broadswords, Zweihanders, Nodachi, etc. °Heaven's Armory: Shield - Bucklers, Towers, Kites, etc. °Heaven's Armory: Point - Spears, Javelins, Halberds, etc.
• The Two Flashes of Heaven - This ability is limited to Ai only. By vibrating the molecules within her weapons and the air around her, Ai can use two different attacks that have destructive results. Using more than three a day, however, puts a massive strain on her person, and subsequently her "sister". Used only when nothing else damages her foes.
°The First Flash of Heaven: Laser Light Show - After a short delay, Ai's next attack splits into dozens of rays made of the same substance of her weapon, essentially emulating high-speed strikes as they strike in multiple directions onto the target. These strikes are no stronger than her regular blows, and only hit the same side Ai swings at. °The Second Flash of Heaven: Dove's Song - Her weapon emits a bright blue glow, and then swung to create a wave of pure plasma, vaporizing anything within ten feet of her strike. This sent distance is usually dodgeable by faster opponents if the target isn't held in place.
Heaven's Raid - This ability is limited to Yuu only. When the situation calls of it, Yuu can create a blindingly bright wave of physical light that both blinds and knocks back anything it comes into contact with. This ability can be used to propel Yuu across long distances if aimed at the ground beneath her feet, and can even carry a passenger should she employ her Tower Shield. Can be used much more frequently than the Flashes of Heaven, but becomes straining after multiple usages.
That should do it. The most significant changes are the default/altered clarification in the "description" section and a tweak to the "enhancements" and "abilities" sections with a better vision for the future. It'll be a simple thing to put it in with the other CS's but I'll leave it till a little later.
“… The sunlight… It hurts my eyes…”
Name: Lucius / Black Mass
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: In his default form, he is about 5’6” (1.7 meters), with a rather unassuming build that would easily give the impression that he isn’t meant for direct combat. His skin is fair and leans more toward the pale end of the spectrum. He has aimless, short, dark-brown hair usually featuring large multi-tiered bangs and a light-purple eye coloration. He wears a pair of corrective black-rimmed glasses for his innate nearsightedness. He has grown rather attached to a sizable, gray scarf and wears it whenever possible. On the whole, he prefers warm, comfortable clothes of simple make and drab coloring. His numerical designation is located on his forehead, often covered by his aforementioned bangs. His expression is commonly neutral, showing little emotion one way or the other. On rarer occasions, he may be seen as mulling something over or otherwise lost in thought.
Number: X (10)
Rank: B
Personality: On a typical encounter, observers (provided they notice him) will find Lucius as being aloof and standoffish. However, such a demeanor doesn’t stem from feelings of superiority or complete indifference, as though any given individual isn’t worth his consideration, nor is he necessarily shy to the point of outright reluctance towards social interaction.
Lucius’s behavior results from an “upbringing” focused almost exclusively around the training, development, and precautions involved with his powers, leaving his growth in terms of natural mental and behavioral development in a somewhat stunted state by the time he turned fifteen. Still, fundamental aspects of his training were and still are the virtues of concentration and control, so much so that, instead of being prone to destructive tendencies and violent outbursts, Lucius is disposed toward keeping to himself, observing a situation and staying silent until he deems action on his part to be necessary or unless directed to action by someone he recognizes as having authority over him. Otherwise, he will quietly do what he wants at his own pace.
A considerable amount and number of knowledge and concepts that are taken for granted or come naturally to others are relatively unknown to him, thus to be viewed as curiosities rather than facts of life. This has lead to underdeveloped people skills. Although Lucius is capable when it comes to listening and problem-solving, he come off short in regards communicating, relating to others on a personal level, having empathy and working in teams effectively.
As “government weapon” is the only life he’s ever known, Lucius, or “Black Mass” as some science teams refer to him as, really doesn’t mind his lot in life at all. Under the basis of him certainly not being human, therefore having no right to the “life outside” as humans do, and the axiom that others must die for others to live as surely as two things cannot occupy the same space, he has come to remorselessly accept his place, seeing the destruction of humanity’s enemies as his only purpose in life.
Lucius’s relationships with his scientists and handlers are relegated to the professional level. Given the nature of his power, staff members are wary when they’re around him, coming to realize the potential for danger. He has had little to no contact with his fellow bioweapons, although perhaps a few have seen him calmly transported via wheeled, tiltable restraining table.
Likes: - His scarf - His restraining table (where he sleeps) - Pistachios - Warmth - Lab coats - Electricity - His glasses - Caterpillars - Fluffy things - The sun
Dislikes: - People repeatedly telling him to speak up - Loud noises - Boring nutrient supplements - The cold - Earthquakes or other seismic events - Mentions/offers of corrective eye surgery - Ice - Patronization (deliberate or otherwise) - Sneezing (particularly in the sun)
Description: Lucius is the latest subject in a long running line of bioweapons research that hit it’s stride in the late 1900s, when the scientists stationed in Dulce, New Mexico, developed a strand of the Hellion Virus, designed to virulently infect living targets in a certain area, in time mutating them into powerful drones that would then proceed to lay waste to the target area’s security measures before a built in insurance measure disposes of the “Hellions” to ensure a clean takeover without endangering soldiers needlessly.
Unfortunately, it was found that normal human physiology is unable to handle the strain, and infected cells would break down before the viral bacteria could rework them. Subjects would die of organ failure and cell saturation making them unsuitable carriers. Incidents involving Patient G, the most promising subject by then, made it apparent that the project, as it stood, was doomed to failure.
However, in studying the Godslayers, it was determined that the right specimen could utilize a form of the virus, becoming an adept instrument of destruction. At the age of three, Lucius was deemed an acceptable candidate and given a new variant of the Hellion Virus, one that carries no infectious properties whatsoever. The operation seemed a success. However, subsequent tests indicated that, despite predictions, not only were Lucius and the virus entering a state of increasing interdependency, but Lucius was found to be in authority over many of the more drastic biological changes, the level, degree and magnitude of which had not been seen in any known subject thus far.
Note: Default/Default Form refers to Lucius's human appearance(s). Altered/Altered Form refers to instances of dark, biological amalgamations that he can shift his body and appendages into.
Enhancements: For years, the virus has altered Lucius’s cells, changing his genetic makeup. This has granted him considerable increases to some of his base natural attributes (accessible in his default form) as well as some rather unavoidable side effects.
Genetic Prowess: Heightened awareness, faster reaction time, increased speed and strength. None of these are to an excessive degree, but distinctly superior to an average human’s attributes.
Toxic Blood: Although not infectious, his blood has a noxious quality that makes exposure hazardous for most people. Symptoms of contact or prolonged exposure, even to the accompanying pungent fumes, may include lightheadedness, muscle spasms, unconsciousness, and suffocation in closed environments. Sufferers should seek medical attention immediately for these and other conditions.
Poison Immunity: All known poisonous elements (including his own blood) have little to no effect on him.
Mass Regrowth: He is capable of immediately and rapidly healing minor wounds and injuries (default form). For medium level injuries (default form) and minor injuries (altered form), he will need to consume animal tissues/flesh (the fresher the better). For major injuries (default form) and medium to major injuries (altered form), he will need to consume the freshest of meat from medium to large creatures or beings.
Evolution: By devouring the recently deceased tissues/flesh of high caliber beings (certain Fiends and Gods), Lucius can absorb a measure of the power therein, eventually granting him access to additional abilities and upgrades.
Note: The amount of living material required for regrowth and evolution may vary.
Weapons: Utility Grenades (comes in throwable and munition versions): - Flashbang Grenade - Frag Grenade - Smoke Grenade - Acid Grenade - Poison Gas Grenade - Incendiary Grenade
Note: Lucius can only carry a limited number of grenades and will have to pick and choose on a mission by mission basis.
Scourge: A heavily modified 40x46mm multi-shot grenade launcher, capable of launching suitable ordinances long distances.
Abilities: Lucius’s abilities develop from his aptitude for manipulating his altered cells, transmogrifying portions of his body to perform a desired task resulting in jagged, dark, charcoal-colored growths nebulously shifting and setting into hardened yet living plates or strands. Essentially, he is a shapeshifter, the visibly altered parts of his body referred to as his “biomatter/blackmatter”, the tools he can generate from which are called “constructs”. Concentration plays a major role in maintaining a single or group of constructs.
Short Sword (Construct): Short, yet swift blades of which Lucius tends to construct multiple of for particular engagements. He employs these sharpened, wide knives to deliver quick and successive damage to his enemies.
Tendril (Construct): A vine-like protrusion amassing from his limbs or elsewhere, capable of extreme range and reaching distant objects for the purposes of pulling to himself or even propelling him towards that object at high speeds.
Blight Mode: For a limited time, Lucius can cause a large portion of his blood to convert into a high level acid, diverting it for use in his constructs. His eyes as well as portions of his biomatter (equivalent to the amount of acid he makes) will change to a bright, glowing, green hue. Any construct he makes will be laced in the caustic solution and cause prolonged acid burns upon contact.
Guise: Lucius can shapeshift to disguise himself as any humanoid he has observed or absorbed, albeit with varying levels of success and only for a few hours at a time. Absorption allows Lucius the most accurate depiction and gives him access to the memories of the victim.
How far along is everything? Sorry I've been quiet on here, just not been feeling as energetic as before. Mostly due to college and poor sleeping patterns (the second being almost entirely my fault).
Are you still going to take part as well? Because Raiden still wants his spotter
*hint*
”If I don’t have to do it, I won’t. If I have to do it, I’ll make it quick.”
Name: Gray
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Despite being a godslayer, Gray is a remarkably unimpressive looking individual. The drab, black mop he calls hair grows well into his perpetually bored looking gray eyes, as he doesn’t see much of a point in cutting it or even combing it out of the way. His unimpressive looks are further compounded by the fact that he is a merely 5’8” and doesn’t look particularly muscular on the surface. In fact, the only real way you could tell that the man is truly a godslayer is by looking at the black “VIII” tattooed on the left side of his neck.
Number: 8
Rank: D
Personality: Depending on how you look at it, Gray is either the laziest guy in the world or the most diligent. Because when it comes down to it, he hasn’t met a force yet that has been able to prevent him from taking his three square naps a day. And as a true believer in putting the minimum effort necessary for any given task, the godslayer is a true genius when it comes to finding the most efficient way of getting out of any kind of work, no matter how mundane or even world threatening it may be. If nothing else, you can rely on him to think up the most direct and simple solution to a problem while he vetoes anything that requires what he perceives as too much work.
On top of that, Gray's brutal honesty and sarcastic nature makes him the kind of guy that most people like to spend much time with. That very fact is completely lost on him though, as he also isn’t the kind of guy to dwell on such things and is perfectly content when left to his own devices. Perhaps it is because of that kind of mind set that he is able to keep a level head no matter what kind of absurd, logic defying situation godslayers like himself often finds themselves in. This levelheadedness carries over to his dealings with others, as one would be awfully hard pressed to get much of a rise out of him. Although, while it’s not as readily apparent, he is also deeply skeptical of the world around him and almost never takes anything at face value. This borders on downright cynicism, as earning his confidence is a feat that few have ever been able to accomplish due to his distrusting nature of everyone’s motives. It doesn’t help that he is also self-deprecating and doesn’t place all that much value on himself, but that is a side he doesn’t show others all that often.
When it comes to his role as a godslayer, Gray understands full well that his purpose is not something he can completely blow off. Because whether he likes it or not, he was brought into this world for the sole purpose of fighting these so called “gods.” And without that he doesn’t have a clue what to make of himself. But that’s not the only reason he fights, because although you will probably never hear him say it out loud, Gray is actually quite protective of his siblings. Every time he is the one risking his life fighting these monstrosities, one of his siblings gets to stay home and not worry about whether they are going to make it another day. A pitiful consolation in his mind, but in the end, one that he also believes is worth it.
Likes/Dislikes: + Naps + Peace and quiet (so he can nap) + People that snark back at him + Straightforward and honest individuals + Messing with his siblings
- Work (in all of its unpleasant forms) - Most authority figures in his life - Arrogant pricks - The smell of rain - Anything that puts his siblings in danger
Enhancement(s): As soon as the scientists learned of Gray’s ability, they built him with his future role as a scout in mind. All of his enhancements complement his ability well and serve to make him effective at reconnaissance missions. While he may not be as fast or strong as many of his siblings, the godslayer more than makes up for his reduced combat power with his ability to provide valuable information to his team.
Eagle Eyes: If he focuses on his sight, Gray is able to see tiny specks on the horizon as if they were right in front of him. Essentially, as long as his line of sight isn’t broken, there is little that can escape his eyes. And given that one of the prerequisites to using his ability is to have a clear picture in mind, this enhancement doubles at effectively increasing the range at which he can teleport.
Lightning Reflexes: While his physical reflexes aren’t the fastest among the godslayers, Gray has one of the fastest mental reflexes and is able to use this in conjunction with his ability to make rapid defensive and offensive maneuvers. He doesn’t even care to count the number of times this enhancement has gotten him out of situations that were all too literally dicey.
Total Recall: A relatively rare enhancement among godslayers, Gray’s eidetic memory allows him to clearly remember just about every single detail that has caught the attention of his eyes. In practical terms, this makes him one hell of a reliable scout that always delivers accurate information. Similar to his enhanced eyes, this also lets him to recall places he has been quite vividly, which in turn allows him to use his ability at much greater distances than he normally would have been comfortable with.
Weapon(s): Since he was not born with innate super strength or an ability that can tear the world apart, Gray has been trained (despite his many complaints) to use a wide variety of weapons. Generally, his weapon of choice is a bullpup shotgun that fires slugs, as they get the job done quickly and often work well with his role as a scout. But that doesn’t mean it is all that unusual to see him using a DMR or even a sniper rifle should the situation call for it.
Ability: Rift: Gray’s ability is to open a portal between two points in the world. This portal looks like a black tear in the world that is completely opaque, thus impossible for others to know where exactly it will lead until they step through. As he is now, Gray is only able to transport one person through at a time and cannot make them in rapid succession. An intense level of focus is needed to open each rift, which can easily be broken by physical or mental distress. Also, teleporting anything great distances or something outrageously large will leave him drained and disoriented, effectively leaving him unable to form another rift for a time and making him a burden in combat.
@DeathXtheXTree Definitely :D This looks like it's going to go wild when we get rolling. Hopefully we can get through without abandoning this idea. (I've had horrible memories of RPs being abandoned with no apparent reason. I'd hate for it to happen here)
@Rune_Alchemist I noticed we have two number sevens (Raiden and Ven) in the roster. Was this intentional, or a miscalculation?
Righty ho, apologies for these constant intermissions folks, I swear I have almost finished constructing the life raft that will help me survive the flood of papers coming my way.
Now below I have a working roster sheet of all accepted characters. As I have already discussed this a bit with our all mighty Co-GM, I really would like to avoid splitting the numbers across genders, as it just doesn’t feel right. So instead of giving some people the short end of the stick, I’m upping the number of “most powerful” slots from 9 to 13.
If you see you are sharing a slot with someone else, I would like for you to talk amongst one another and sort out who gets to keep the spot. I would like this to be done before I open the RP up on Saturday, so the sooner we get this done, the better. I am more than happy to help with this, so just speak up if you need me.
ALSO
Now would be a good time to start talking to each other and figuring about how ya’ll feel about your fellow Godslayers. I’m not going to be asking for full on relationship sheets by Saturday, but it would be very beneficial if you can get at least a handle on who they like and who they can’t stand. Of course, fleshing out a handful of relationships past that point is preferred, but I don’t want you folks to feel too rushed on this.
@Slendy Thanks for that, you are welcome to add Atlas over to the character tab.
@HaltingBlooper Excellent, go chuck Six into the character tab.
@Thecrash20 Jakob looks good to me, although I would like if for now you edited out the parts that state his equipment is made from god bones, as at the start of the RP no one has heard of a god dying quite yet. Also, there should be a few spots open within the top 13, but I would much prefer it if you waited until the people with conflicting numbers sorted out where their characters will go before you claim one.
@Xiro Zean First off, I want to say I really, really like the concept of the Gemini sisters. The only real issue I have is that their ability seems a bit too perfected because as it stands, it doesn’t seem to have any real limitations or ways for it to be improved upon at later ranks. I think that some kind of time limit or even a durability adjustment would help make it feel more in line with other abilities at rank B. I’ll leave the nature of the tweaking to you, but other than that the sisters are good in my books.
@Doltboy Our majestic Co-GM hit the nail on the head. Things are trucking along, but busy lives have been making it a slower grind than I intended, so I apologize for the hold up. We should be able to start by Saturday, assuming nothing catastrophic happens between now and then.
@Shadow Daedalus In all honesty, I completely forgot all about poor Gray aha. I’ll see how the roster sheet fills up and stick him in an appropriate spot.
@Sarcelle Renard Hurray! You're doing fine, at least you haven't abandoned this RP :D
I always loved the concept of a tandem duo, especially with a sword and shield. I never had the chance of implementing one before, but now I can and still have some fun doing it :D
Yeah, their ability seems a bit too perfect for development. When I created them, I was racking my head for ways as to progress them through the RP, but I wasn't actually sure what to do in that respect. Lowering the durability of their Armory seems good, so I'll go with that :D In all honesty, I was just going to nerf their Convergence when they first use it (all that power, but no practice. 11 years is a long time to be apart), But this seems like a good nerd before then.
Mina is supposed to be this crazy strong duelist of the highest order, created to single handedly defeat a God on her own without interferance. When Ai and Yuu are able to Converge and become one, thdir progression will inevitably sky rocket, so relearning all of Mina's abilities after nearly a dozen years of misuse seems like a great way to keep them level with the other AG.
On the subject of relationships, I think Yuu and @Rune_Alchemist's Aegis could be the sneakiest duo ever... if Number Four took the time to learn sign language, Yuu's quirks, and was able to get around the "Red Wall of China", Ai.
Edit: I just reread all of the character sheets, and we have a LOT of standoffish characters. Seems legit, given their situation and probable superiority complex (no matter how small) over regular humans. Hopefully we dont fight each other too much.
"Hmph."
"..." *pointed look*
"...Really? Do I have to?"
*stares intently*
*sigh* "...I hope we all become... "friendly"..." *nearly gags*
I'm glad to keep the number five spot. Claimed it first in the Interest and here. Lol, but take yer time, ahm sure that everyone is patient enough till whenever yer ready!
@DeathXtheXTree Yuu can speak, she just chooses not to until a certain event happens. I notice that Karu is supposed to be aloof unless interested, so maybe she just wonders what goes on in the silent sister's mind? Could be a valid reason for them to interact.
Hopefully Yuu can dissuade Karu from even thinking that taking innocent lives is an option, mostly through kindness... and alot of snark if that doesn't work.
...I can't believe I just took the 100th OOC post to talk about a mute girl.
Edit: Just remembered. Ai is a thing. She would definitely notice if Yuu started thinking as if she was having a mental conversation with someone, and want to know who it was her sister was talking to and how fast she can make them stop
