I'm still working on my cs, just wondering would an angel be able to use divine abilities? Obviously I am aware that there would be scrutiny on what and how powerful but is is a question I need answered before I continue on with my character :) thank you.

Okay... working on some concepts here...

Concept 1 is the more ambitious of the two. A former agent of a government-sponsored supernatural investigation force. Went rogue after the task force was dissolved. Is a medium/psychic/what have you, primarily with extrasensory abilities. A spirit detective so to speak. His souvenir from his agency days is a gun that can shoot ghosts and such.

Concept 2: A vampire that was a noble warrior (samurai, knight, etc, haven't decided yet) in life, and tried to maintain their morality despite their rampant bloodlust. Turned their murderous urges and hunger toward criminals and such, becoming a vicious, lethal vigilante. Sort of inspired by Hotline Miami, this guy is all about murdering people in ridiculously brutal ways.

@Dead Cruiser Concept 1: The only way I would allow for this one is if he worked for a paranormal agency in another country. He would also have to be a part of PRIES. I want everyone to be involved in the game and not being those people who join a game to RP with themselves. If you are concerned about him having his own housing; yes, he can have his own place. No one is expected to live within the Syndicate unless they are special cases who have not found a way to move among the living undetected.

Concept 2: If all he does is murder bad guys in horrible ways, and the assassination wasn't even ordered, regardless if he's killing criminals, he is incriminating himself and therefore, I see this character just getting neutralized by the Syndicate. No one likes a rabid dog.

I intended for both characters to be a part of PRIES. The agent actually would probably work better if he was of foreign origin; being a rogue is all the more reason to flee to the US. The vampire would have been brought on after the agent found him preying on criminals and such, and he's more or less on their leash. Though if you still think that he would be a sort of kill on sight scenario, well, that's why I have two options.

I was also curious about making a "hunter" class. One who goes searching for wanted "criminals" or creatures. The hunter would be also considered I guess an assassin class as well but I think if that's denied by you I may stick with the agent class. Although, I'll see it would be hard to hide his presence since he would have an icy aura around him. It's purpose is nothing but it's there because of who he is, he can't help it.

I would like your thoughts on this if possible. :)

@FallenTrinityIf your character is an agent, then there is no point in a hunter class to exist unless: 1) that character is not involved with PRIES, and 2) wants to go to supernatural prison. Think of being an agent as a legal means to exact justice. But just like any job there are rules and policies, but all of that is IC mumbo-jumbo. This isn't a game where you join some assassination syndicate where you endlessly hunt/kill enemies. There's way more story to it than a hack and slash.

@Holy Soldier Rough draft is almost done. I know what I'm going for its just hard for me to find the right words. Also I hope you don't mind having a pacifist on a team ment to fight and/or contain supernatural beings.

With some recent events that have come up, I'll be putting my character on hiatus until I have time to develop his backstory. If I have some time to spare, I'll write something for it but I won't likely touch it this week. So I'll just leave this here and cross my fingers that you're running and still accepting then, if not then its fine.

Description: Richard is a fair skinned young man with an average face, the kind you would lose in a crowd if not for his six eyes. His main eyes are his largest and they sit in the normal position on his face, but about an inch above each eye is a smaller one, and the last set of eyes are closer together and about an inch above the middle set. Normally he covers the top two sets of eyes with a bandana to blend in easily. He is a natural bald and is unable to grow facial hair which gives him a more professional look. His arms and legs are covered with short thick brown hair. On the topic of legs,
Richard has four spiderlike appendages growing out of his back with three main joints and hooked feet. The only way to hide them is folding them up against his back inside a trench coat.

Personality: Richard is normally a quiet man who prefers to stay in the back and people watch, but the moment a topic comes up that he is interested in he can become very social. He is a pacifist by nature and will always prefer to settle differences with words rather than violence. Unlike others of his kind he despises being isolated, those who worked with him would even call him clingy.

Background: (working on it)

Weapons: Taser, pepper spray, and a 9mm semi auto Ruger that has never been fired outside of the shooting range.

Skills: Investigation - Richard is fairly good at finding clues at crime scenes and piecing them together.

Research - Richard's ability to speed read and his skill with searching files and databases means it takes him little time to find the information he is looking for.

Chemistry - Richard loves experimenting, expecially with chemicals. He knows how to make antivenom and antidotes to poisons.

Level head - So long as he isn't on the barrel end of a gun, or completely surrounded by people that want him dead.

Powers: Webs - As Richard is part spider, he has the ability to spin spider silk using spinnerettes that are at the back of his mouth. He can make two types of silk, the first is hair thin and extremely sticky but easy to break. The second is fairly thick and strong enough to hold up to two hundred pounds on a single strand. So far he has never been able to run out of the thin sticky silk but he can only make up to about ten feet if the stronger silk at a time. It takes a few hours for his body to produce more.

Pheromones - Richard constantly produces pheromones that make normal spiders friendly to him.

Venom - Richard's canines are fairly sharp with tiny holes in them that excrete a mild neurotoxin. The neurotoxin causes slight loss in motor control, making the person feel sluggish. The toxin is non lethal and wears off after
half an hour.

Spider legs - When Richard's two spider legs are out, he can scale flat walls with ease and grip onto things that his hands normally could not. He has full control over the legs as he has had them since birth. Just like any other muscle, they have to be exercised to stay in shape, even though they have a hard exoskeleton. Just like spider's legs, there is a tube filled with fluid that runs through them that expands and contracts to move the legs.

Im interested in making a vamp. But some clarification before I make my char sheet (Actually im like half way done):

As a vampire, the being has a few things that come with it. Like weakness to sunlight/certain items and only needing to drink blood. Do we also have the most basic trait such as enhanced strength, speed, hearing, and increased regen? I used enhanced because saying superhuman/ having it without using an ability spot seems a little op for the race. To me it's assumed it limited, such as if an arm goes flying off It will eventually regen back, but not for the event taking place or if someone is sneaking behind us from about 100 feet the footsteps will be heard, but I won't be hearing the enemies breath a building away.

Alright so before I make a dragon related concept I want to try something different with something I've been basically working on for a while but haven't had a lot of roleplays on the site to express it.
NECROMANCY
Warlocks that have the powers over life and death, the cycle and its organic components. Necromancers have the potential to become the grim reapers of the mortal world, spells that could decay living flesh into dust or make an apple grow from a leaf. While necromancers have a potentially indefinite existence it takes a very long time for them to learn different powers
Necromancers, whos' existences represent mastery over the cycle of life and death, can walk in death as they can walk in life. Destroying them or killing them doesn't really do much in the long run as even if they cannot continue their bodies from living into undeath, they can recreate their bodies from other organic material. They do have their limits, exhausting their power can send them into a hundred years or more of a non-existing coma, where they essentially 'stop existing' for a while. If they do not have bodies, their only power at that point is to move as a gaseous, ghost-like and intangible essence invisible to the naked eye and recreate mortal bodies from transmuting other organic matter. The longer they remain without a body the more they are drained of their power, risking them to go into that coma should they keep themselves out of a body.
If they are undead, as in, they are merely controlling a dead body, they are limited to only using necromancy as they cannot technically use other magic in this state, simply due to the fact by all technicality they are 'dead'.
While they have most access to their necromancy and perhaps other magic they may know, keeping them alive hinders their mobility as apposed to floating without a body or the flexibility of controlling a dead one, yet their existence constantly draws them to be alive less they be slowly consumed by the void until their eventual return.
Necromancers are of the cult of Hecate, a goddess of black magic and, of course, necromancy, and so far it is exclusive to the original necromancer and his children.
-As a side note, necromancers cannot bring people back to life, at least by themselves, as their powers to not extend to the souls of people. Though some necromancers can make new life instead of simple undead creatures, they cannot bring back those that have passed away.-

Added plot for this little pitch.
The character I had in mind was a rebel to the cult he was born into, and helped the government seal his necromancer family beneath some important building or rune. Since then he works as a Syndicate agents using his paranormal powers for the sake of protecting the mortals. He will have a limited use of necromancy aside from being able to reanimate himself, and mostly relying on his knife and revolver in addition to reanimated himself for a rather interesting combat.

All right everyone; let me say this first before I get to everyone's questions. For the next three days, I'm going to be doing a unit training exercise.
