Naturally, Kaze was cautious of the entire situation. He could take the ladder on the right...but that would mean that he legitimately wasted an hour of his night for absolutely no sort of feasible outcome. The only option that seemed efficient at this point was to go with the flow, and see if the Kabuki man made any of this worth the obnoxious effort. So far, it seemed like Kaze would only be disappointed. With a sigh, he rested his hands in the pockets of his blazers, watching the last 'villain' climb down the ladder, into places unknown. Judging by the whistle of air that accompanied their descent, the drop was easily 30 to 40 feet in height. Slowly, the wind user made his way to the hole, glancing down. True to his estimations, it was a long fall, dropping down onto what appeared to be concrete flooring.
Kaze took one last glance around, before breathing in and stepping into the hole.
As always, there was the feeling of his stomach adapting to the change in gravity, before the wind around him took hold of his body, and slowed his descent to a much less violent pace. Hands still resting in his pockets, Kaze landed lightly on the balls of his feet, and began to survey his surroundings through calm, half-lidded turquoise eyes. The room was large - larger than he'd originally thought. It appeared to be some sort of villainous...hideout, complete with what looked to be a kitchen area, cubicles - for personal use, most likely - and a training area. Already, his...'teammates' were adapting to their environment, seemingly with no care in the world. The boy who had screamed his lungs out at a doom bot was running around in what a maid would only be seen in, the beast-like girl was fooling with some raw-looking meat, while katana boy seemed to be offering his assistance. The bone-loving female busied herself with what appeared to be a job board, and the shark boy...boy shark? seemed to be feeling his injuries, as he lied back in a lounging area.
Kaze watched, a smirk forming on his lips. He envied their naivety - or, perhaps, they were simply confident enough to not care? Only time would tell.
Question was, what exactly did
he want to do at the moment? Learning his teammates' names was probably a very important thing to do, but Kaze didn't necessarily find it important at the moment. Labelling them by their quirks was good enough. Speaking of quirks...he was feeling rather parched. A minor side-effect of being one with the wind, was that the usage of his powers often made his throat dry if he wasn't careful. Not too much, but coffee and tea tended to soothe his nerves, anyway. The shark boy seemed like he could use some as well...perhaps Kaze's special brew? He might as well learn something about
one of the villains, and shark boy seemed nice enough.
Kaze made his way to the kitchen area, walking past the two near the sink, and opening the cabinets. There were a couple of decent tea brands, but he pushed them away with a mere sigh, reaching back and grabbing the box of mint leaves and peppermint crumbles. He'd do it the natural way, then.
A gesture of his head, and the tea-kettle fell onto the stove from a sudden gust of wind. Kaze grabbed a large bowl, filled it with water, and added the crumbled mint leaves and peppermint. He swiftly poured the concoction into the tea kettle, and set the fire to High.
'...Five minutes.'There.
Satisfied, Kaze made his towards the lounging area, making sure to avoid the resting shark boy. He'd see if he wanted any tea once the brew was finished. For now, he merely sat back in one of the love-seats, propped up his feet, and closed his eyes to the world. As of that moment, he felt himself become one with the wind, his body going into a meditative state, whilst Kaze himself flowed along the breeze.
