Masaru
aged 17Appearance:Assuming one hasn't learned of
yangires, Masaru frequently assumes an appearance of a decently cute, cheery girl, a contrast to the nature of her quirk. Masaru stands at five foot seven, with a slender body frame and some upper C-cup bust to boot.
Personality:
In a typical run-of-the-mill situation, you'd be seeing her as a very eccentric, childlike and mostly kooky girl, somewhat deprived of sanity. Masaru is a VERY talkative loon who tends to initiate conversations frequently... to the wall, to your hat, to herself, and maybe a little bit of person too, but often anything inanimate. She is playful to an extent, and maintains a cheery atmosphere around herself, that is, if she's not being a little creepy. She is quite intelligent in most academic regards, despite being an utter idiot in practical senses.
Her eccentricity can be a cause of concern, ESPECIALLY when angered, bringing out her hubristic side where she speaks of herself as God and of her desire to subdue all with any power she may be endowed with. Common sense dictates NOT to piss her off too much. Surprisingly, however, her temper is surprisingly stable. Either that, or she has too little of an idea of what's supposed to blow her fuse.
Oddly enough, however, she's very cowardly when she no longer has the upper hand, often begging for mercy and such. Perhaps her wariness of those more powerful is one of the few things keeping her from going on a full-on rampage.
Background:
Masaru's past is, at best, uncertain. It is difficult to get her to speak about her history, or any of the sort. When one does so, expect it to be partially or totally bullshitted, for accounts vastly differ and conflict between stories different people hear from her.
What we do know however, based on public records and witnesses, is that Masaru appeared on the national registry 17 years ago, born to the very wealthy family of Satou that became the subject of a mysterious mass disappearance a mere 4 years after her birth. The earliest witness account of what could be regarded as own activity was the murder of a child in a quarrel, around the time she was eight, slowly choked and killed by a red mist that wrapped itself around their head. A five year void of inactivity followed, then incidents involving mists of the same appearance reappeared suddenly in sporadic cases.
A few heroes have since attempted to search and apprehend the culprit behind the incidents, but were unsuccessful so far. Witnesses have provided descriptions too vague to be of any use.Masaru earns a living off from hitman jobs. She is paid big enough to subsist on the money for months before needing to embark on another task.
Motive for Villainy:
Megalomania and god complex, probably for the most part. The family disappearance might hint at a possible motive for revenge, provided it might not be her own fault in the first place.

Emitter:
Esoteric Energy
Masaru is capable of manipulating an unknown, unstable type of energy rooted deep within her body. Not even Masaru herself understands what it actually is, but it could be a form of pure destructive energy, as evidenced by its ability to, well, destroy.
Basically, Esoteric Energy is a red, glowing mist of energy that can be manipulated into a variety of forms, from clouds to projectiles and even swords. Depending on the concentration, Esoteric Energy breaks bonds between atoms it comes into contact with, severing matter into pieces and unbinding some chemical mixtures. Pure concentrated matter, such as blades, are most effective at breaking things up with slices, while clouds are better at having degenerative effects. Although destructive in nature, Esoteric Energy is not capable of utterly destroying matter itself; it can only rend things apart, but not send it into oblivion.
Esoteric Energy, however, has some odd effects on Masaru's own body. In particular, it has the typical drawback of being draining on excessive use, but another interesting effect takes place while this energy is being used ceaselessly and daily. Some parts of her body become slightly off at first, with either discolorations or physical distortions. Further use starts to make them become grotesque lacerations, and even further, writhing blobs of tissue. Oddly enough, Masaru tends to ignore these, even going so as to wonder what is it being pointed out when someone points to that big mass of flesh pulsating on her leg. These odd deformities somehow revert as time passes. There are currently no known actual effects from these, but it could be inferred that this energy could have potentially significant side effects on Masaru.
This energy also becomes weaker with increasing distance from Masaru, which could limit the range for her projectiles as they tend to degenerate back into nothingness if detached from her system for too long. Theoretically, overusing this ability could also drive her insane, since she tends to be a little bit extra crazy when so, but it appears there's not really any point in this anyway because Masaru's already nutty in her own right.
Talents:
Masaru is quite evasive and tends to escape from scenes quite easily, remaining unknown to investigation even until now.
But for how long?Skilled in bladework, something that could quite come in handy when using her energy in melee.
Big tolerance for pain.
Inventory:
Has a pet mouse of an unknown name. Kept since last year.
Often tends to carry around candies.
