They studied the video for a while. Jameson seemed to pick up the language a bit. The other two still didn't seem to understand a word. Just then their stomach's growled. None of them had eaten for a while. Exactly how much time since they last ate they weren't sure. John knew from searching the house that there was no food in it. "We'll have to get some food. Nicole while you were out there did you see any food?" Nicole indicated no. "I'll move farther out, see what else I could find." She then headed out the gate. Jameson started exploring the woods around the house while John watched the gate. He noticed a distinct lack of cover by the gate. So he knocked down several trees and piled them up near the gate.

Back in town Nicole passes by what she interpreted as a school, level of education unknown. She comes across what looked like street vendors. She studied the currency exchange from the rooftop, she zoomed in on the hands. She waited until no one was looking her way and jumped down to street level. She grabbed a stone and used it to cause a disturbance so she stole some food. Then she made her way back.

Jameson found a four legged beast, no clue what kind of species it was. He could tell it was herbivore, it lacked any noticable defensive means. He rushed it with his knife and slaughtered it. He dragged the corpse back to the front of the house.

Jameson & Nicole returned at nearly the same time. They stockpiled the food Nicole brought back. John prepared an area to build a fire. Nicole stripped branches from the tree trunks to build the fire. Jameson butchered the animal saving anything unedible for possible use later, such as the fur and bones.

Mention: @Spinosaurus Doom Slayer

As the Dark Lord of the Sith continued to walk down the sandy beach of this new world, he suddenly sees someone seemingly teleport out of nowhere several meters away from him. An armored figure in dark green, looking like some new kind of stormtrooper. Yet Vader knows better. He stops suddenly, his boots digging into the wet sand, and his cape flapping in the wind ominously. Whoever this person is, it appears he has not noticed his presence immediately. He must've arrived here suddenly, as if something teleported him here. Even now, Vader was quickly connecting the dots as to how he happened to get here. Yet at the same time, he does not know why. Surely there'll be an explanation.

Could this man hold the truth?

He doubted the possibility, but eventually his breathing alone finally caught the attention of the man in green. The man walks up to him quickly, as if he does not know who he is.

"Do you know where we are? I mean, I've traveled dimensions before, but not usually knowing where I'm going. The name's the Doom Slayer. You may have heard of me, as I'm kind of a big deal."

Vader certainly didn't know who this 'Doom Slayer' is, but already recognizes the foul stench of arrogance reeking off his breath. And a dimensional traveler? It only makes him feel closer to how he got here. He continues to stand motionlessly, doing nothing more but breathing.

"And what's up with that space suit? Is it Halloween here?" the man laughs, concluding his statement.

The man dares poke fun at his own suit? Perhaps it's not as refined as this man's suit, but it wasn't simply mere cosplay material. Vader would usually try to force choke or perhaps wield his lightsaber at the armored man, but reconsiders it. He should not be too hasty in coming to conclusions. It seems he is as confused as he is. The Sith Lord then responds after making a slight "confused" nod.

"Clearly you do not know the power of the dark side that resonates from I, Lord Vader." Vader responds in a deep, almost mechanical, voice while getting slightly closer to the man, "But I am not here to compare our armory. I was hoping that you would explain where we are, but it seems that we are on the same page... 'Doom Slayer'. Your name is rather unfamiliar to me."

Peacock
In which our fantastic heroine struggles with words and provides Heilong Yu (as played by @Nerevarine) shelter, all the while bombarding her with questions, completely unaware of the language barrier between them. Action!

The sensation of having somebody dump words directly into your mind, avoiding all those weird little tubes and bones that make up the various bits of the ear, was something of a novelty for Peacock. The assorted rat wranglers, mud harvesters, swindlers and flim-flammers that made up what remained of the crowd didn't seem to react to the words. Peacock concluded that either this message was for her mind only, or everyone else was just way too busy doing whatever it was they were doing to respond.

"Then we're two peas in a pod, two rats in a trap, two..." Peacock paused to try and think of another way of explaining just how similar their situations were, then dismissed the thought (or lack thereof) with a shrug. While the girl displayed an almost comical lack of concern for the almost comical lack of knowledge either of them had regarding how they ended up here, the rows of red eyes attached to Peacock's slender mechanical arms glanced around, trying to keep an eye, or eyes, on everything.

"...pickles in, yeah, that doesn't work. Out of the sun, gotcha. Can fix you up with that, at least!"

And so Peacock turned around with a dramatic flourish of her arms and marched, with a rather exaggerated gait, back down the street and over to the building she'd woken up in. It hadn't changed much since she left it a moment ago. The door still lay on the ground, hoping it could grow some legs and begin life anew as a table. The interior was dark, save for the flickering embers of the fire in the middle of the room, though a rudimentary ventilation system allowed the smoke to leave by creeping up through the cracks in the ceiling to slowly suffocate whoever happened to live just above ground level. The pair of corpses slumped in the room adjacent to the front room were beginning to make themselves known, as not even the stench of rot and sweat impregnated into the walls could mask that sort of corpse-stink. It was the sort of place that not even vermin would be seen dead in.

"One dank, sun-free hovel, just what the doctor ordered," Peacock stepped over the door, took a few careful steps to navigate her way around the broken bits of furniture that were scattered about the place, and finally crouched down next to the fire. It produced a token amount of light and heat, but it was cosy enough.

"Erebus, Shams, don't know either of 'em. It's not New Meridian either. I woke up in there," one mechanical arm extended out, and a comically oversized gloved hand pointed at the entrance to the other room, "and I know I fell asleep on my own bed last night. So what's with you and the sun? Not a morning person, huh? And what's with bypassing my ears? That's some weird trick! And the axe, carrying a chopper like that around, like you're looking for trouble, or trouble's looking for you..."

Peacock's arm snaked back to it's previous position. The row of eyes on it just stared. Clearly, Peacock was quite oblivious of how weird her own tricks were.

"...and, uh, hey, you probably don't want to go in that room. It was like that when I got there."

Vivi

Vivi's head tilted slightly in confusion. Why was Yuki talking as if she had missed that grand, magnificent castle that had towered over Alexandria? It was where the play was going to be performed, after all. Just how lost was this girl...?

He watched the fairy flying around his head curiously, having never seen anything like her beford... which wasn't hard, given how little of the world he'd seen, but Vivi had never heard of people small enough to fit in the palm of his hand.
The thing they kept mentioning piqued his interest a little more, however. "...Negari?" he questioned. Was it a type of monster, like the ones born from Mist? He hoped they weren't too dangerous.

- Set Harth -

The smirk fading from his face, Set Harth looked upon his surroundings. Cobbled streets, rustic houses, and a stench that indicated that underground sewage was a novelty that had yet to be invented upon the backwards backwater world. Mere moments before he had been overlooking one of his many caches, a collection of artifacts and objects that would cause the Galactic Empress Marasiah Fell to drop out of her fancy throne in awe. And yet now he found himself transported through mysterious means to this other world, or even other time. Regardless, his supernatural senses clearly told him this was not the world of Comoria where he had previously abided. Nor was this any place he had been before, which was notable indeed, for Set Harth prided himself on having been practically everywhere over his impressive span of years. It was a bit of a mystery, but stranger things had happened before, and it was not unknown for unfortunate individuals to be displaced through space and time by the power of the Force. Shrugging, Set merely assumed it had been an unfortunate side effect of one of the many artifacts he had been inspecting - certainly the most plausible explanation.

Stuffing the talismans, amulets and trinkets he had been holding into the myriad hidden pockets about his body, Set set about the next order of business. First he expanded his senses outwards to detect any immediate threat to his being. Almost immediately he was rewarded with a cold sense in the base of his gut as he quickly identified the presence of a Sith Lord of quite some power, although the distance and relative inactivity of this source indicated said Sith Lord was not responsible for Set's current situation. In fact he was almost certain he could recognise this Sith, so distinct was his impression on the Force. After a mere moment of puzzling Set's eyes widened. Why, that was none other than Lord Vader! But certainly the fearsome Sith Lord was dead... it had been over a hundred years since the Empire had fallen, taking both Darth Sidious and his apprentice with it. Certainly not even that dark lord's fearsome power could allow him to resurface after being a hundred years dead? Could it? But the Sith of old had possessed the means to shrug off death as if it were a mere headache, and certainly Sidious had returned from death's cold embrace more than once. Perhaps his apprentice had merely been delayed in his return, and it was that very return that had, most certainly unintentionally, brought Set to this strange world.

Shaking his head the lone darksider hid his own impression upon the Force. He had spent centuries hiding from the Sith and Jedi alike, and he would need to be sniffing Vader's ass before the Sith Lord could sense his presence. And he most certainly wasn't planning on getting that close, or in fact anywhere near him. Those who tangled with Sith Lords rarely lived long lives, and Set had an immortal existence he wasn't planning on abandoning anytime soon. He would figure out what was truly going on later, for now he would need to find himself the first starship that could take him off-world.

Moving among the crowd Set was like a shadow, quickly convincing a passing fellow to give him his clothing. He had learned more languages than most people knew words, and yet this world's tongue was foreign to him. But with his extensive knowledge and powers it was easy to figure out the basics, and soon he was returning greetings and discussing the weather with passers by as if he had lived in this odd place for all of his life. With his change of attire and his friendly attitude he wouldn't stand out all too much, at most gaining the occasional odd glance, as opposed to the others he was now beginning to notice. For certainly there were strangers in this world, figures who seemed to appear out of nowhere, and looked immensely out of place. Strange figures of myriad forms who seemed to pop into existence all over the place, as Set's life-sensing abilities told him. It seemed that whatever had brought him here had brought friends, and considering the rustic era of this realm they were his best shot at acquiring a starship.

Perhaps the most stunning of these unexpected arrivals was what appeared to be a bright pink mecha standing at about twice the height of your average human being. Through the clear glass it was obviously piloted by a brightly attired young lady with odd facepaint. Certainly this made for a striking figure, and they had acquired their own crowd of onlookers as Set arrived. Smiling brightly he walked forward from the crowd, knowing the figure in the mech would be more likely to be confused than dangerous. "Ah, miss! I believe you are a new arrival upon this world? Do not worry, your confusion is perfectly natural. I myself took a moment to adjust when I first arrived." Making an elegant dancer's bow, he smiled at the figure in the mech. The advanced technology required in constructing that mech would certainly lend itself to starship construction, and materials could certainly be gained from the other... arrivals. And this young lady would make an excellent assistant in his goals before he decided to either abandon or kill her.

"I was thinking we are not going to learn much the way we have been operating. We need to go out there and meet the natives. One of us should stay behind and protect our 'base'." Before John could suggest a means to choose who stays Nicole volunteered to stay. "Looks like you and are I going out John." John pulled off his helmet and clipped it to his belt, Jameson did the same thing. "Take our weapons but make sure to not to hold them up. We don't want to unintentionally threaten the locals." With that John and Jameson walked out into the village.

Konpaku Youmu

For a moment, Youmu was on guard again, hand instantly on the hilt of Roukanken, when the boy suddenly transformed into some pitch black nightmare being for a brief second. But then, the shroud of darkness was gone as quickly as it had arrived. That didn't make Youmu immediately drop her guard after seeing something like that, but it seemed as if nothing was really coming of it. How... completely bizarre. Oh, it wasn't as if she hadn't seen strange things back home, but usually when someone cloaked themselves in darkness they were preparing some kind of attack of some sort. Ryu went on to talk about these dragon shrines, which again where simply something the white-haired girl had never seen before. Not that she hadn't seen statues of dragons, but they weren't shrines, were they?

He then pointed out the distant form of a temple, or at least something he had assumed was one. Youmu supposed she had no reason to suspect it wasn't a temple, but once again it didn't resemble any of the shrines she knew of whatsoever. Was this even Gensokyo? It didn't feel like it was Gensokyo. It didn't look like it was Gensokyo, either. Her phantom half drifted this way and that behind her as Youmu fretted about that possibility. But at the same time, this didn't look like the outside world at all, either.

"I... guess I don't exactly know what else to do..." Youmu said, finally, before making to follow him. She was still kind of wary of that weird black aura that had come out of him, though.

Nishimura Yuki

He didn't know what Negari were? Didn't everyone? It wasn't like they weren't a problem wherever humans were... then again, Ruru had mentioned they'd traveled extremely far. But how far would you have to travel in order to find a place where Negari weren't a problem? This didn't look like Antartica, there had to be at least enough negative emotion to spawn one or two every once in a while. Which also meant there had to one or two magical girls hanging around to beat the Negari back into nothingness and uphold justice and protect the innocent and be shining beacons of hope and goodness!

... Ah, Yuki was getting a little distracted there, though. Now wasn't the time to go thinking about how great being a magical girl who could fight for others was. But before she could open her mouth to attempt to explain what Negari were, Ruru beat her to it.

The little fairy happily fluttered in front of the magician boy, raising a hand to the level of her head and pointing skyward.

"Since you already saw me it's okay if I explain!" Ruru declared cheerfully, "Negari are the manifestations of human emotion. Specifically this means negative human emotions. Sadness, hate, these kinds of emotions in large quantities cause the Negari to manifest! They're very dangerous, since usually they mindlessly go after humans with no hesitation, and there's no weaponry humans can create that can harm them without some kind of magical backing up if you get what I mean!"

Suddenly, with the fluttering of her wings, the tiny girl was beside Yuki's head. The pink-haired girl stepped to the side, bewildered even now at how quickly her partner could do that. Sometimes she forgot how fast something that small could be. Also she preferred not to get a literal earful of fairy and Ruru was awfully close. The fairy raised her hands, as if presenting Yuki.

"That's why fairies like me go around to try and find people with the potential to be magical girls, like Yuki-chan here!" the tiny girl continued brightly, "Yuki-chan is an awesome magical girl!"

Yuki felt something small landing on the top of her head. Reaching up, she realized that somehow, Ruru had produced confetti and tossed it up to emphasize her point.

"Well... Ruru is right," Yuki said, with a shrug, and then a proud smile, "Negari are monsters, and as a magical girl it's my duty to protect innocent people from monsters like that!"

"Oh, I didn't introduce myself properly!" Ruru interjected, quickly fluttering forward, "My name Lulilulilulululilalalulali Lalulolelalilililululalilolilolela, my friends call me Ruru!"

After a moment's pause, Yuki gave a glance towards Vivi again.

"Can you see why they call her Ruru?" she asked. Though... she couldn't get over how familiar this little magician guy looked, especially with that name...

With the whirring of the machinery inside her MEKA, D.Va turned in a bid to regard the crowd that had now formed around her. Normally she was eager to have a crowd gather around her and acknowledge how awesome she was, but in this case it was more worrying then anything else. They were all dressed up in various medieval-looking clothing, which was even more confusing. None of them looked Korean, either. Had she dropped into some sort of enormous western cosplay event? How did she even get that far? How did that make any sense at all? The omnic had been rendered totally inert, and it hadn't exactly displayed any abilities to teleport people before. Sure, it was adapting, but it was as close to destroyed as they ever got it! It was in no shape to go teleporting anyone.

But now she was in some kind of fantasy RPG setting.

And there was some very dramatic guy bowing to her. Wait, he'd come from somewhere else, too?

"This... is another world?" D.Va asked, after a moment's pause. At once that explained a lot(like how it didn't look anything like home) and also explained nothing at all(how had she transported to another world exactly?). It also meant that, if that was the case, she needed to figure out how to get home as fast as possible. "Did someone use cheat codes or something? This is just weird!"

Ryu smiled happily glad for the company in truth rather worried. The city seemed to take a lot of inspiration from Myria's temple and if he had to fight another god alone it would be impossible. Ryu slowed down so that the smaller girl could keep pace and entered the Temple looking for any books that might pertain to there situation. Ryu examined maps with unfamiliar writing handing Youmu a book with a picture of a ghost on it. The map was completly foreign containing nothing in common with the map Ryu knew. Ryu glowed a gentle pink color as he activated his Eldritch gene not transforming but allowing the gene to let him translate reading first his map then taking a history scroll trying to understand. Ryu recognized from Momo's lessons that the breaking had happend in his homeworld and knew a form of xenophobia would emerge.

Ryu quickly pieced together why they were watching Youmu so closely. Ryu turned to her curious if her ghost would be enough to cause prejudice. "We may want to stay out of the public view. A world shattering event occured here and after an event like that people target strangers. My blue hair and your ghost may already have been noticed."

The time had come, at last, after so many long years of fighting. Ascension was at hand. The prophet Kane had led the faithful to victory, and with the great tower left by the visitors, transcended from humanity's cradle into the heavens above, ready to follow the messiah into a glorious new future! Or so Isaac thought. But instead of being at Kane's side, with the Brotherhood, the Grand Confessor found himself amidst the streets of an unfamiliar city. It wasn't the vast bunkers and cathedrals of a Nod settlement, nor was it the high-rising cityscape of a GDI held zone.

Despite the unfamiliar surroundings, it was comforting to see his most loyal men at his side. Soldiers who had stood by him during Kane's absence, and during the great heresy which nearly destroyed the messiah's dream of ascension. Ephraim, Ishmael, and Joseph of the Black Hand, his finest soldiers and protectors, there to guard their Grand confessor with their lives. They were as crusaders of yore, clad in holy armor and armed with the weapons of the faith. Holy fire and tiberium-based chemical weapons to purge heathens, heretics, and apostates. Red cloaks were draped across their shoulders, concealing their weapons and much of their bodies. They waited without a word for their Confessor's commands, ever dutiful and pious.

Ezekiel, a veteran of the third and fourth Tiberium Wars, and one of the finest saboteurs available to the brotherhood. Beneath the domed head-case of his hazmat suit, glowing red eyes barely outlined his skeletal features, dark and expressionless as always. Slender mechanical fingers danced across a datapad and a sigh of annoyance hissed from the suit. "My Confessor, I cannot reach any Nod outpost or patrol, what's more I cannot detect any sort of transmission, be it Brotherhood or GDI."

A soft chuckle came from Adam, veteran Nod Shadow and at times the Grand Confessor's own personal assassin. "Perhaps something went wrong with the ascension. Alien technology tends to be rather fickle after all." The man looked rather comical standing next to the Black Hand disciples in his slim and form-fitting stealth-suit.

"Nonsense! Kane himself oversaw the calibration of the great tower. He would not have made any miscalculations, there should not have been any errors in our ascension!" The saboteur hissed, voice soft and full of venom.

Isaac simply stood there, taking in their new surroundings. A city of great antiquity it seemed, the likes of which he had only ever read about in the scriptoriums of Nod temples. It was rather peaceful, quaint. A far cry from the war-torn badlands he was born into, with the Tiberium fields growing closer and closer every day. For a while he simply wandered through the back alleys of the city, silently contemplating to himself as his faithful defenders kept in close step behind him. All the while a trail of green tiberium gas trailed behind, lingering for a few moments before dissipating completely. They passed rotting homes and tenements, crumbling hovels and rat-infested camps. The people were weak, filthy, and looked upon the black-armored strangers in a mixture of awe and fear, shuffling away from them as they passed. Eventually, Isaac stopped, and quickly turned to face his brothers.

"My dear brothers. Do not be disheartened, and do not lose your faith. I have thought deeply on our situation, and it seems to me that this is a test. A test of our faith, of our resolve, and our humanity. Look at these people, look at the lives they live. Truly they need, no they have a right to our aid! Through Kane, God in all his infinite wisdom has sent us here, with the teachings of the Brotherhood. We are to be their saviors, and spread the word of Kane as the messiah had to us! His eminence spoke of a great universe for us to conquer, and now I see that it will not be by blood and steel alone we do it! Pray with me brothers, that we might be granted the strength and the wisdom to honor Kane's path!"

The four knelt and bowed their heads in prayer, weapons lain upon the ground. The Grand confessor passed his censer before each of them, the green fog surrounding them as they softly chanted prayers. People gathered cautiously to watch the strange ceremony, at a safe distance of course. Eyes peering from broken windows and shabby tents watched on, and children in rags clung to their parents as they tried to gain a glimpse of the strange knights in black. Soon the chanting ceased, and Isaac raised his hands as he praised the name of Kane.

Reisen Udongein Inaba

"Monsters? What? I haven't a clue what you're speaking about," Reisen said, carefully eyeing the man as he mentioned death. There was only so far jokes could go, and this was certainly pushing it as far as things went.

"I can confidently say that it was a perfectly normal day where I was before, and that no apocalypse was in any forecast for the day. 'Creatures descending from the sky' sounds more like a wild fever dream than anything else, so I'll have to refute your portrayal of facts here... If I can consider them facts at all," she continued, shaking her head. "As I said, it was a perfectly normal day where I was. One moment I was packing up, and the next I end up in this place... Wherever it is."

Giving the man another once-over, Reisen noted how none of his clothes seemed to be damaged in the least. If he claimed death as he had been doing for the entirety of the conversation, then the distinct lack of blood on his garments indicated otherwise. Maybe it was just a lunatic of sorts?

If so, maybe she could fix him back up and get him to speak something that made sense to her...

"Hey, could you look into my eyes for a second?" she asked, moving forwards to try and catch a glimpse of his eyes through the mask he wore.

Sogiita Gunha

The sound of multiple explosions going off at once erupted from the alleyway as Gunha threw punch after punch at the thugs, casually ignoring anything that came flying at hit from whichever direction. The first thug, the one that had swung the bat, was the also the first to go; the young esper had landed a direct punch into his gut, which had sent the man flying into the wall and left behind a human-shaped imprint on it. The second, a young man wielding a pair of knives, was next: after he lunged at Gunha, the gutsy young man stomped on the ground and caused a shockwave strong enough to throw the man into the air a few feet before Gunha punched him straight out of the alleyway and into the middle of the road (to the screams of those who were watching from afar, however few in number they were). The last one, an older man who looked to be in his late twenties, had taken the initial target hostage.

This, of course, made Gunha slightly more irritated.

"Oi! How much lower are you gonna sink, you gutless coward?!" Gunha roared as a few multicolored explosions flared to life behind him. "If you're gonna go down, at least go down like a man!"

"Say the one who ain't human!" the thug retorted as Gunha pulled back for a punch a few feet away.

"Now that's just rude!" the esper retorted as he let loose his punch. The air whiffed by harmlessly, but after a few seconds the effect was clear: a blast made from compressed air had shot towards the thug's head, knocking his head back into the wall and temporarily disorienting him as his grip on the hostage loosened. With a smirk, Gunha dashed forward and pulled the victim back before ducking low and pulling back for another punch.

"Think your life through for a while, why don'tcha?!"

With that exclamation, Gunha threw an uppercut at the thug, launching him straight into the sky and towards... Well, somewhere else in the city. Hopefully he wouldn't die from it.

Probably wouldn't, honestly. Jerks like those had stupid amounts of durability.

Brushing himself off after the final blow, Gunha flashed the quivering victim a thumbs-up before casually walking out of the alleyway and into the streets. Maybe if he wandered around a bit more, he'd figure out where the heck he was...

It was day on this world. Magnus stopped, considering himself close enough to the city of humans that he could scry for more information. He lifted his left hand while his right held his weapon. Oh how weak his magic had become. Still, with relatively minimal concentration, he projected his senses, perceiving a location inside the city. He saw mostly ordinary humans, mortals, but what he found shocking was that there were absolutely no sign of the influence of the Imperium of Man. He flicked his consciousness in a few different directions, just to be sure, and indeed, there was no sign of his enemy faction... yet. As he psychically looked around, he saw a number of very strange things. Magic users, a strange woman walking the slums, a boy with blue hair, a large pink strange kind of power armor with... a girl inside it?? There was a temple, a bazaar, buildings made of simple earth....

Suddenly the screech of a wild beast made Magnus withdraw his attention. Fairly close to him, some creature was under attack for its meat. A well-armored human with strange tech weapons was killing it with... a knife? Magnus obscured his presence and watched him as he dragged the carcass back to a ramshackle fort. Two others were there. It was a small squad of warriors who appeared to be biding their time. It wasn't long before the two males departed, leaving the female alone.

Surely these humans were of a different faction than the feral ones back in the archaic city. How had he not noticed them before? No matter. With those kind of guns and armor, there was a good chance their kind also had space travel. That meant, they were worth interrogating.

A large, red, demonic looking figure with huge wings suddenly appeared to be standing amongst the trees outside the makeshift fort in view of Nicole. Half of Magnus' form was obscured by plantlife, but it was clear he was staring at her from a relatively safe distance. The figure held a long glaive with a curved blade on one end, and his armor was ornate with two fierce looking horns coming out of his chestplate. The sight was needless to say, alarming, but the winged creature wasn't doing anything immediately threatening. Magnus waited for her reaction.

(Some of you might have sensed a magic-based or psychic presence in the city which you might be able to follow.)

Phocas Amyntas

Phoc was stunned with confusion. Nothing had happened to this woman before they had been magically transported. No apocalyptic event, no monsters from the moon, just a simple day, she had been packing something up when she was suddenly here. That made absolutely no sense and didn't coincide with how he knew of teleportation or of the state of earth. He had questioned her hoping for answers but he was just getting more and more damn questions. Speaking of, she gave him a look over and as she did, he noticed his clothes were fine. No blood or tears, even his mask was fine.

He turned from her and began pacing in place. He had a tendency to do so when stressed, and stressed he was. He was in another world presumably, talking to a strange woman who thought him insane while the last he saw of his own home was it being torn down by the very threat he failed to prevent! What was going on, what was he supposed to do?!?

"Hey, could you look into my eyes for a second?"

Wait... That was it! Those pink creatures, they could induce hallucinations, he had been blinded by one. There must have been a more advanced one he hadn't noticed somewhere near him. This was some form of induced dream world, that creature was simply distracting him while it's cohorts struck a more decisive blow!

Turning back to his captor, though careful not to look it in the eyes, he allowed himself a small speech before he drew his blade. "Hah, I understand now. You're one of THEM! Those beautiful, disgusting Lunar Creatures! While the strategy is ingenious, I'm afraid you won't be devouring me today!"

With that, Phoc drew the True Night's Edge from his side in one swift cutting motion, it's spinning green magic projection flying towards Reisen, both it and it's wielder intent on bisecting her. Inside him, the Celestial energies seemed to flair to life, driving adrenaline up, and logic down the drain. The dilation of his eyes indicated the best bet Reisen had was direct pacification through her powers, but getting to his eyes through that mask may be a problem.

The stench of decay wafted into the air as Peacock lead her into the decrepit hovel and out of the sunlight. Yu let out a sigh of relief, finally free from the risk of burning away like a forgotten dish on a stove top. Yu's eyes darted, first from the fire, to the intricate web of cracks and holes that permeated all throughout the walls of the makeshift shelter.

My apologies for the telepathy and the need to get out of the sunlight, it was my mistake, I had assumed that you were one of my kin and would understand, Yu responded to Peacock, taking not as the girl took a seat by the fire, causing Yu to cringe at the thought of being so close to a beacon of death. I see now that you are not; though, I do admire your willingness to continue the conversation; not many would keep up a conversation with my people.. Yu transmitted these words while ignoring the girl's objection to entering into the next room.

Did I sleep yet another millenium..., Yu pondered, not realizing that she was still transmitting her thoughts to Peacock before snapping back out of throught. "...eh, forget I said that" she said, back tracking her thoguths before returning to her new traveling companion.

"If we're both lost, perhaps there's nothing to lose if we travel together. If the rest of this place is anything like here...It'd be good to stick together as a group, lest we run into bandits or slavers like in Ereb-.

Yu's train of throught was cut off by sounds of chanting, of heavy footsteps.

"Do you hear that?", she remaked, before running to get a look at the outside streets through the closest opening in the wall that could pass as a window. 4 figures clad in black knelt in prayer, in a language she did not understand. Invittist Crusaders? No. Mujahideen? No. They were unlike any other she had seen before. But whatever god these knights prayed to, she assumed it was no friend of the vampire.

Yu darted back into another room, grabbing a long, dirty and ragged cloth out of a corner and fastening it with a makeshift broach, a simple bone from some long ago consumed avian. Pulling the makeshift cloak's hood over her head. Yu turned to Peacock and spoke once more.
Perhaps a good first step will be to get out of this slum.... And as soon as the words hit, so too did a strong feeling, a dark, intriguing magic, not too far from their current location. But far enough away from the fanatics walking around the impoverished slum.

I think I might have an idea of where to go.

With a smile, she then added.
I am Yu, by the way. Heilong Yu.

- Set Harth -

"Another world, indeed. This quaint little town certainly is not a part of the galaxy as I know it. One would think that all such livable worlds would already have been colonised." Set came up gracefully from his bow, and looked around at the small crowd that had formed. He said a few words in their language that amounted to 'feck off', and sent a burst of Force Fear into their minds. People scattered at that, like chickens who had spotted a predator, knowing now that it was not their place to approach him. Blending in had it's advantages, but for the moments he preferred to have solitude in which to think. "My name is Set Harth, miss. I am a man of many talents, an explorer back on my home. Delighted to make your acquaintance. Perhaps it is best if we work together for the moments? A new world can hold many dangers, and that magnificent suit of yours would certainly scare off most who would wish me harm. And I certainly have skills that could assist us in navigating this world. For one, I have managed to mostly figure out the local tongue."

With a brief look and a smile, Set continued discussing his plan in more detail. "I believe there are many others in a similar situation to ours within this city. I should be able to track these people. If I can track some of the ones from more advanced worlds, combined with your apparent technological knowledge, we may be able to construct a way out of this place. Then we may all return to our homes, and I may explore this place at my leisure knowing I have a method of escape should I need it. Does that sound like a plan?" As Set looked up at the strange girl he put a touch of supernatural charisma in his words. Should she decide to head off on her own he lost a possible escape route, and he could sense that more and more figures were appearing. Soon force of arms would count for much in this strange place, and he planned to have the greatest force of arms. Or to simply go unnoticed entirely, and escape this place before he got dragged into some strange paranoia-fuelled free-for-all. Already fights were breaking out, in several locations that he could sense.

Reisen Udongein Inaba

"Disgusting? Devouring? You really are insane, aren't you?" Reisen sighed, taking a few steps back as the hooded figure drew his weapon and swing it at her from a distance. She had caught nary a glimpse of his eyes for a moment, and given how maddened he looked, fighting would be the only logical outcome.

"What a great way to start my day..." the rabbit complained, diving to the side as whatever projectile that emerged from the weapon flew by and carved a hole into a nearby wall. Reisen looked at the hole, then back to the madman, then at the hole again, then once more at the cloaked figure in dumbfounded wonder at how he got such a weapon before pulling her pistol out of its holster.

"I guess I have some obligation to get this guy to shut up before anything else gets damaged..." she muttered before firing a few magical bullets at her opponent before running forward at him. That one rabbit turned into three, which then turned into five and then into seven as she (and her illusionary clones) began to attack from all manner of directions: from above, to the sides, from the front, from behind, and a few in between. Of course, after a clone fired a few bullets or was hit, they faded into the air again, as if they didn't exist. To cause even more mayhem, a few of the doppelgangers came in to fight in melee range of the blade to try and fake the lunatic out.

The bullets certainly didn't fade, though.

The real Reisen was one of the ones in the air, one hand charging her pistol for a conical beam attack and the other reaching into her suit for something a bit more... Decisive.

Nicole was startled by the sudden appearance of the thing in front of her. She didn't move to indicate she noticed. She watched it from the corner of her eye. Without activating her external communication equipment, only those with a Mjolnir helmet could hear. She called John and Jameson. "There is thing her in the tree. Closest description for it would be demon. Like in all those old Earth movies, maybe Devil like in appearance. It's got a fairly large bladed weapon. Take caution on your way back, for all I know this could be some asshole's idea of a prank."

John and Jameson were not wearing their helmets but they did catch part of it. They immediately put their helmet back on and ran back. When they were a few klicks away they slowed down and pulled out their assault rifles. They took up a firing position one on each side, just in case.

When John and Jameson alerted her they were ready, she began. She acted startled by the creature's presence. "Damn dude! Trying to give a girl a heart attack?" She clutched her chest. "Is that your house?" She pointed to the long abandoned and extremely dusty house full of cobwebs. "If so I am sorry for trespassing. Also I hope that animal wasn't some kind of pet or something." She said pointing to the deer like creature's remains. "If so I am even sorrier." She slowly stood up making sure to keep her hands away from her weapons. "If you'll excuse me I'll be taking my leave so you can have your house back." She gradually started walking away from the demon-Devil-thing. Moving towards one of the other Spartans. On her way she grabbed the supplies she stole earlier. "I'm just getting my supplies, nothing to get excited or murdery over." She didn't even know if this thing spoke English. For all she knew by pointing at the dead animal she could have indicated she was going to do the same thing to it. She was really regretting volunteering to stay behind. She was just glad she hadn't set her weapons down, she would have to had left them behind, which would have put them at a severe disadvantage if it came to a gunfight. Right now she wished she had an energy sword instead of her magnum.

Reinhardt Wilhelm

One minute he had been in Greenland, dealing with the rather unpleasant people that Torbjorn had mentioned there over Christmas--his Swedish friend having better news about the northern countries than he did. Walking back from a false lead and seeing another trail that might correct the directions he had been given, the enormous armoured man followed along the trail--and found himself somewhere not entirely unlike Eichenwalde. The architecture was distinctly medieval yet there were people around and a distinct lack of destroyed robots and empty Crusader armour.

Nobody with business in Eichenwalde would greet him with such apprehension.

The locals were regarding Reinhardt with a wariness that tended to stem from unfamiliarity nowadays, yet if this was the old German town (no matter how he had gotten there) then he should be greeted with either warmth or terror--depending on whether you should be here or not. The cold apprehension clearly made this separate from his old master's town, so where could it possibly be?

The old man wandered the streets, trying to piece together some idea of where he might have been transported to. From the similarities to Eichenwalde, he could place it somewhere towards the northern regions of Europe. The language didn't seem familiar... though soon enough, the locals had recognised him and swapped to something that he could understand.

Then something clearly recognisable came into vision: a wonder of culture and science fashioned from pink metal and the successor to the video games that he had watched its pilot compete within. There was a small crowd gathering around the MEKA but, with his size and similar out-of-placeness, merely walking close and gesturing with his free hand was able to part it a little and find a way nearer to the Korean girl. That seemed to be the main reason that they had scattered. Then he clapped one armoured arm around the 'shoulders' of her robot.

"D.Va! Are you here to film another movie? This is an impressive film set," he said. With the Korean pilot here, things made more sense: it could just be some filming project. Reinhardt had certainly enjoyed Hero of my Storm.

Yukine Chris

Chris was even more out of place than Reinhardt was, never having found herself in Northern Europe or anywhere of the sort. Disembarking from a submarine was not supposed to lead to stepping out into centuries old architecture far from any sort of ocean and she was, understandably, annoyed at the change of scenery. Her outfit was doing no favours in the early dawn temperatures, so she stuck to the alleyways where buildings could block the breezes and the feeling of the place was more familiar despite the architecture.

To stumble across a group of armed shoulders shouting nonsense about conquering the world was completely unexpected and the schoolgirl reflexively grabbed the relic at her neck. If they did anything aggressive, she could transform immediately and then no soldiers should even be a threat. Attacking soldiers who had no chance of fighting her off would be wrong. Something that she would have done before and for similar reasons to these men, but...

"What the hell? You can't make peace by fighting everyone! All being stronger means is more fighting!"

... she couldn't keep quiet, either.

Isaac turned towards the young girl, it was rather surprising that she could understand him, or that he could understand her. In an instant his three guardians were on their feet, creating a protective semi-circle around the Grand confessor. The green mist of Tiberium gas hung around the Confessor, and he took a moment to regard the girl in front of him. He waved his guardians aside and took a few steps towards the girl.

"My dear child, you seem to misunderstand us. We do not intend to go around picking needless fights, or terrorizing innocent people like common thugs. No, what we seek is to simply lift these people from squalor, to provide them with the power to make better lives for themselves. Power after all comes in many forms, not simply martial prowess or physical strength. That is perhaps the most base example of power. The power we speak of comes from liberation, breaking free from the bonds of one's oppressors and embracing the purity of Tiberium. A purity and power forseen by Kane himself. My brothers and I have simply taken an oath before God and Kane to aid these poor people. With us we have brought the key to their liberation, their elevation from squalor through learning and understanding of God's gifts and Kane's teachings. I can understand your worry, but believe me when I say what we do is for their benefit."

The tall man offered her his armored hand, the movement brushing his cloak past his shoulders. Upon his chest was a bright red symbol, a scorpion's tail within a triangle. "I am Brother Isaac of the Black Hand, Grand Confessor of the Brotherhood of Nod. We bring with us the Technology of Peace."

"The Technology of Peace!" His retinued echoed.

"Would you like to join us in our mission?"

Konpaku Youmu

Youmu stared blankly at the ghost book. What was she supposed to do with this? Just because of her Phantom half, she got the ghost book? She didn't even understand how it would be relevant... things were getting increasingly baffling. For that matter, the way that Ryu was rambling was making her seriously worried that he was mentally ill. This had to be some portion of Gensokyo, right? So why would they be bothered by all of this stuff... Even if it wasn't exactly Gensokyo, it could still be one of those locations tied to Gensokyo itself, right? Right? None of this made any sense, but especially the whole 'world shattering event' thing. What did that even refer to? She'd never heard of anything like that. Really now, what was going on?

"Er... I don't really understand, but no-one's ever been bothered by Myon before..." the short white-haired girl said, trailing off as she gestured to her phantom half. This just didn't make any sense at all, she had to be honest about it. It was one of the strangest situations she had found herself in, and that was saying a lot. Ah, what was she even supposed to say about all this...?

@Masterkeun

D.Va raised an eyebrow when the man said something she didn't quite make out and suddenly all the people around began to scatter. Caution set in, now, even as the man went about explaining his ideas and his position on things. Why had all those people cleared out so fast? And yet he didn't sound entirely untrustworthy, either... Ah, this was too strange. One of the odder assumptions was that because she was piloting a MEKA she would know how to build one. Hana Song took a lot of pride in a lot of things, but she wasn't about to claim she was an expert mechanic who could construct something that could hop worlds. She'd had her MEKA customized, but that wasn't anything like that! She gave the man an incredulous look, but before she could really respond...

She'd never met the man before. But she recognized that armor. It was rather difficult not to recognize someone who was that big, wielding a hammer that size, and wearing power armor. Anyone who knew anything would know him as Reinhardt, one of the original members of the now-disbanded Overwatch.

It was only a moment before he was upon her, clapping an enormous arm around her MEKA and talking in such a boisterous tone about how he had mistaken this for a movie set. It sounded like he was a fan! That was kind of awesome, D.Va had to admit to that.

"I'm always happy to speak with a fan!" D.Va declared, brightly, "Especially when they're one of the original members of Overwatch! But this place isn't a movie set, that guy-"

She gestured to Set.

"-Says it's another world!"

Dante the Great and Powerful

The sweetest thing about death is that you have your life flash before your eyes to relive your memories once more and reflect on what you've done in your lifetime. That wasn't the case for Dante. He just opened his eyes to the world again like he had been slapped back to reality rudely by a Latin mother. At least it was a better alternative than being carved open by a loony. Now that would really suck.

His mind went back the the main focus and thought about where he could possibly be. He looked around and met eyes towards a glimmering city. It was probably a bit far but it wasn't like he was going to make the whole trip on one day or anything. He was exhausted with enough excitement for one day.
He was happy to see all of his stuff in one piece lying lazily on the ground. He opened his satchel to find his liquor holder. It had been filled with some old scotch. He starred at it briefly before putting it away again. "Not today my old friend." He then grabs his briefcase and slings the satchel across his shoulder preparing to make it to the city.

He makes it somewhat far enough into the forest considering his low energy condition. Dante decides that he should just set up camp and rest a bit. He starts unfolding a tripod on the brief case to make a small table. He continues to grab a pack of hotdogs gets a small disposable grill from his bag. All is going well except for one problem: he doesn't have a lighter. Dante groans and shuffles around his bag for his pocket knife. He spends five grueling minutes gathering some tinder and trying to light it with a rock and his small pocket knife. God must have felt sorry for him and an ember was made after all the effort. Dante felt a bit proud about himself for watching that survivor show marathon. At least before he went broke from a dwindling audience. He cares for the ember long enough to make an ok flame. Soon enough, Dante already had two weenies on the grill being tended by a small stick he found.

For that moment, he finally felt relaxed and past the whole incident earlier. It was healthy for him to. All that he was wanting to worry about now we're these fine weenies he's about to grill.
