Amelia Payne

Location: Heard County High School – infirmary

Amelia was extremely glad when they arrived at the school’s infirmary without any new problems. Seemed like she may indeed survive to see another day, but first thing’s first. She had to help Sana with that wound, a rather nasty cut of all things.

“Alright…” Amelie replied quietly as the other woman was guiding her around the medical room to get the things that were needed to clean the nasty wound and then sew it up. She quietly followed every instruction as she was told where to find what and finally she had gathered the things she was told.

The wounds being where they were, Amelia doubted they’d be the most comfortable to self medicate.” Will you guide me through the cleaning process?” Amelia asked, wondering if she was going to be the one cleaning up Sana’s wound. She was not really practiced much in the art of medicine, in fact she usually just went by applying standard medicine to her wounds, hoping they’d heal eventually.

“The fire’s dying out…” She suddenly realized as the shots fired lessened in number more and more. It didn’t sound as if they were being defeated though… more like the enemy retreated.

Jack Hudson

Location: Armory (Building 6) ---> Going South on Lagrange Street

Huh. His mother used to scold him for being ignorant before, claiming that he never paid attention, and just rushed into things. Jack couldn't help but imagine her screaming at him from heaven for running into a burning building--and only noticing the flames as they entered inside. Maybe this was why he was a cop, rather than a fireman. And why the assigned him to vice--sex crimes rarely involved fire.

"I'll be damned," Jack admitted, having receiving his box of joy: gun, ammunition, and hunting knife. "Maybe I do need glasses..." he joked, before quickly following Bazhooli out of the building. The flames had crept towards the middle, and he figured it wouldn't be pretty if they stuck around too long. Once they got to a safe distance, Jack grinned a bit, seeing the little cat. He gave the cat a friendly wave, before he frowned, noticing alongside Bazhooli that the cat wasn't playing a friendly game...

"Our luck is shit today," Jack commented, before drawing his hunting knife and running with Bazhooli. The shambling corpse had already risen and was coming straight at them. But with the large Russian, carrying throwing knives next to him, Jack felt relatively safe. His main concern? He wasn't with Tatiana at that moment to protect her. He figured that Bazhooli throwing the knife would be the best choice, but if the walker got too close, he'd give her a friendly kick to push her back, followed up by a nice knife stab to the head.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Heading to Newnan (Coming From the North)

No one seemed to take aim at her to shoot. That was a good sign--but also troubling. The security in the joint was practically atrocious, as Beatrice continued her walk south, examining the wall slightly as she went. She wasn't stupid enough to walk right up to it, but she wasn't turning a blind eye to it. Every little detail she could take in, she did. And odds were, maybe the entire lot would be dead by the time she found a way inside. They seemed to be having a slight issue with explosions.

If it hadn't been so dangerous, she would've started whistling to herself. And with the thought of a hoard coming near the explosions, Beatrice moved a little faster. There didn't seem to be any break in the wall yet, nothing that resembled a gate. Hopefully, they'd take pity on her and let her inside. She wasn't the one attracting every walker in Georgia, after all. She continued on her way, moving until she saw what looked like a gate.

Shouting wasn't her style. But the thought of getting trampled by a hoard wasn't her idea of a good time anyways. "Hey! Anyone home?" Beatrice called out. She knew very well that there had to be people on the wall--but anything to make herself look a little less dangerous couldn't hurt. Things had to be pretty tense in there at the moment. People might have even died from the explosions she heard. That tended to make things a little uncomfortable when it came to new people waltzing up.

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: Truck in the Woods

Chloe nodded, her heart beating furiously in her chest. Irony would be her getting killed for trying to do the right thing. And for a moment, she couldn't help but feel perhaps that would be the way she'd die. At least the odds of being killed in a drive by shooting were significantly lower, thanks to the Viking woman and the walkers. However, the mention that they had a doctor sparked her interest. Doctors meant organized groups--and an organized group meant that maybe she'd find Riley there.

"Of course," Chloe replied, the nervousness clear in her voice. She set down her pocket knife and pistol, but grabbed her first aid kit. She didn't know exactly what they might have, but a botched amputation could easily kill without proper treatment. Heading over to the injured man, Chloe saw that they had already elevated the leg. That was good. However, bleeding was still possible. She opened up her kit, taking out some gauze, and began to put pressure on the wound.

"How's he doing for shock?" Chloe murmured, speaking indirectly to the woman next to the man, the non-Viking blonde. "My name's Chloe, by the way." From what she could recall, pressure had to be kept on for at least fifteen minutes. And hopefully, the man hadn't lost too much blood. She couldn't even fathom where they could find blood in the apocalypse, unless someone happened to share the man's blood type.

The Great Bazhooli

Location: Armory -> Headed South on LaGrange Street

Now, The Great Bazhooli was no doctor, but he could tell right off when someone was dead ad trying to get back up. Now, if he lacked the basic wisdom to make that determination, he cat sure as hell seemed to be overabundant with it. Go figure. Schrodinger had a better grasp on survival than the extreme majority of humankind. Go kitty.

With this in mind, the flamboyant Cossack twirled the knives in his hands, nearing the fallen-but-animated form of Newnan's newish arrival, Sophia. He didn't know her, really not at all. But there was no sense in getting bashful around new people now. A glance to his left showed Jack approaching alongside swiftly but cautiously, looking a little happier now that he was armed again. The Great Bazhooli responded to his comment about their luck in directed, even syllables.

"Da. Luck is shit." Faster than blinking, the odd Cossack let one of his knives fly. It embedded deeply into the corpse's eye socket with enough impact to send it reeling backwards and fall heavily to the blacktop below. "Vill get better."

He broke into a solid run, barely pausing to recover his blade as he made for the Hordebuster, already pulling out of the parking lot in front of them. The machine didn't stop for the pair. The only courtesy given in that situation was that a suicide door in the sleeper cab opened and the massive vehicle slowed down. Did not stop. Slowed. Luckily, there were solid steps and a handhold in the form of a vertical bar next to the door, designed for purely this purpose. Bazhooli stowed his knives and leapt onto the truck, making handy use of bar and steps both. Instead of entering immediately, he leaned out to grab Jack, intent on helping him inside.

Black James(!)

Location: Hordebuster -> Building 1 (Tower)

Having exited the Armory moments before, James didn't get to witness the sudden undead revival of Sophia. He had already dropped off his precious cargo of flammable liquid and firestarting materials, running yet again despite his protests out of sheer principle. Because that was smart, yes? Running full-tilt with huge, canvas bags full of liquor, glass, and bic lighters. Really something he should be doing.

Now burdened only by his raw awesomeness and the biggest Anti Materiel Rifle that god or man ever saw fit to grace/curse the Earth with, the ebon hogger made his way into the Courthouse and began his climb up to the tower. Step by precious step, he plodded his way upward, unslinging his rifle on the way. Upon reaching his favorite sniping position, he put an eye to the scope and turned his gaze over to the old Probate Court building, specifically the open tower at the apex of the building. It was the exact spot that those fuckers from Eden had used to fire down upon them from before, and represented the only vantage higher than his own for miles around.

Satisfed, at least for the moment, that it was unmanned, James glanced to his side. Guy was already there, set up with Alicia's old rifle. He was about to make mention of it, complain, shout a word or ten of forbiddance, but stopped himself. This was the purpose of the weapon. Guy was the second best range shot in Newnan. It would be unwise to put it in anyone else's hands right then. Guy seemed to know both halves of James's mind, his face taking on an apologetic look. James shook his head and waved it away. They were good. Guy was a good man, one of Ash's people from Virginia. Trustworthy type, even with that month of shoveling pigshit under his belt for leaving post. (A mistake that James was certain would not happen again.)

The two each took a side, and began their scrutiny of home, plus what lay beyond. Guy was the first to break the silence. "So, you're in charge until Zoie's back up or Ash gets back, huh? That's gotta suck."

"Yeah, that it do. Just one day. Few hours. I gots this." He really didn't, but he wasn't about to tell anyone else that, not any more than already knew he was nervous about the whole, gooey ordeal. He was a farmhand and one hell of a hog hunter. That's what he did. Leading an armed defense with redundant strategy? Not so much. "Aight, y'all. In position. Keep the info comin' to Big Daddy James." Of course he was nervous. And he just announced it to anyone with ears on. Figures.

Ash Holloway

Location: The Hordebuster

The second, and I mean the second that everyone was onboard the still moving Hordebuster, Ash kicked it into a higher gear and made for the main gate. He opened a channel on the radio in the truck, addressing everyone still on Newnan's main frequencies. "Rescue Team: <ahem>" He realized that the "Team" consisted of two vehicles. Revising his tactic, he tried again. "Meg. Switch to alternate freqs. Let's keep this separate from Newnan's business. Ill keep my belt radio focused on home."

"Front Gate! Open up as soon as it's safe to do so." Ash switched out to alt frequency, addressing Meg again. "Alright, our people are down Smokey Road. Just stay on LaGrange, it'll turn into Smokey after a little bit. Keep heading west, and stay just out of sight of us, if you can. You're running scout. Keep us informed on what you see. If things get too hot or something is impassable, tell us. Come back if it isn't safe, sit tight if it is. You've got this, Meghna. You're our girl."

The Hordebuster passed through the front gates, not slowing even as he gave a cursory wave to Jim. Habit, purely. If Ash smoked, now seemed to be an excellent time for it. Hell, after the past few weeks, he might just have to start. Of course, they would have to devote a healthy amount of their crop space to making that particular vice stick. Maybe after a long while of expansion, it could be something to look into. Not today; today two women that he had come to appreciate and respect (and a HELL of a lot more than he realized until an hour ago) were in need of help. And wounded parties. But mostly, his Valkyries motivated him.

It was rare for his 'Buster to make an appearance outside of the walls. If it was, that meant priority was assigned to the mission at hand. This day's activities? Very much priority. The big, mechanical juggernaut continued down LaGrange, its driver grim but cautious. "You guys keep weapons ready. Holstered or pointed straight up at all times, but ready. This could be a setup."

The Crash Site - Astrid looks over towards Ray and shakes her head some. "Not yet but soon, just rest," she tells Ray before looking back at Ceil and glad he seems to be leveling out somewhat. Looking around the hoard seems to be looking elsewhere and Astrid grumbles under her breath as she sees the direction they are turning. She was just glad the walls were still standing. Picking up the phone she calls Ash and wait for him to pick up. If he does she says the following - "Hurry, hoard heading towards Newnan but away from us," she says to him before hoping out of the bed of the truck and looking over the new comer for a moment. "Astrid," she says frankly. "We have given him plasma, fluids, pain medications and antibiotics. We cannot give him more until we get him back for blood typing and matching. Keep him comfortable," she says before looking at Tiffany. "Keep an eye on her just in case," she says towards Tiffany about Chloe. Picking up the weapons she hands them over to Tiffany and takes a step back from the truck to examine the damage. They aren't going anywhere.

Inside Franklin High School - Sana nods slightly and looks over towards Amelia. "Right okay, need fresh water, the hydrogen peroxide out of that cabinet, the suture kit from here. How are you with a needle?" Sana asks as she rolls up her pants leg and rolls over on the table so that Amelia can get to her wound without issue. "Medic must be out helping the rest of the school, sorry but you're gonna have to stitch me up. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it," she says as she lays down and starts to explain the procedure as best as she can. She doesn't know much but enough to clean it out and how to sew it up basically. It isn't anything too hard but she knows it is going to be painful and she refuses any pain meds for it. "Ever get the feeling like something went horrible wrong?" she asks as her face turns sour and she sighs. The gun fire is over, thankfully, and no one else is being brought in yet. That is either really good new or really bad.

Downtown Franklin - The trucks and cars pulling out do not seem to take notice of Riley. They work their way through the streets slowly before speeding out of town a short while later. Seems they know the way in and out, where to turn and which cars to pull around for the best exit. Seems they had been scouting out the place to know how to get in and out so quickly. Within the city it seems most everything has been gutted at this point. There will be no water or supplies to find but there also seem to be no walkers other a few that are wandering by and getting caught on the various road traps that are set up. They are rather obvious to the living so Riley should be able to weave in and out of them rather quickly without hassle on foot.

Newnan Tower - Once James is up there, he will see the convoy leaving through the south main gate. Within the walls of the City, things are calming down as the fire gets put out. Sophia's body lays out on the ground as Dick sits down on the curb, Froggy rushing over to him to tend to his burns until he can get him back to the infirmary. Over at the north end of the city somethings are happening... "Hands up" one of the men at the wall yell towards Beatrice. Several more on the wall turn and point their guns at her but no one is firing, yet. "James, we got a single coming in towards the emergency exit gate at the north," the man on the wall calls out. "Come on, show me your hands and tell me just what in the hell you want," another demands to know as he looks at her through the sight of his rifle as he takes aim.

Newnan Streets - Froggy gets Dick patched up and tells him to go to the infirmary. Dick nods, saying he wants to check on Zoie anyways, Victor is forced to stop him, giving him a knowing look. Dick stumbles back slightly, shaking his head before turning and storming off down the street away from the infirmary. He isn't going to the infirmary now, that much is clear. Froggy sighs and lets the man go before heading over towards the Armory to check on the people putting out the fire and getting other tended to. He knows more injured are coming in and he wants to make sure that everyone in Newnan is tended to before even more come in from outside of the gates.

Newnan Infirmary - "You no let someone die, you help people. Sometime's people die. Nothing ve can do. That is life, alvays has been. Ve all die. Nov you must live, so they death not vithout meaning," Tatiana says sympathetically. Holding still she lets Neisha check her head, nothing more than some bumps and bruises. The girl looks like she will be just fine. Looking over towards Kris, Tatiana gives her a nervous smile. "From Russia, vas in Vegas vhen outbreak happen." Tatiana sighed slightly, hoping that Jack was okay right then, she didn't know what was going on outside and no one was coming in to give the infirmary an update right then. The radio that was left in infirmary at all times rang in that someone was at the northern gate and Tatiana bit her bottom lip timidly. "Hope no more problem causers."

Road Leaving Newnan - Alight. Jack and Bazhooli manage to get in the Hoard Buster before it leaves the gate and climb in through the suicide doors. The gate closes up tight behind them after both the Hoadbuster and Megs car are out. The radios will crackle a little between the two and you will get the last messages in from the town before the only two you can contact are each other as you head south.

Now, the rolls have been made and everyone is clear for the next 30 minutes at least. Everything will go smoothly in and outside of Newnan, as well as in and outside of Franklin - including at the crash site on the road. (Holy shit right?) - After a drive taking the back roads south from Newnan, a few off roads and detours, but the convoy will manage to get to the crash site and everything will be clear. Astrid is sitting on the fallen tree, Tryke's body has been pulled off of it and is laying down next to the truck with a sheet over her. The Franklin crew stands up but Astrid let's them know it's their ride. She is looking sweaty and feverish but she is still holding as strong as she can. Standing up on the tree trunk she holds up a hand to signal to Ash everything is safe but the blood has majorly stained her dress and hair, as the winds kick up the massive bite mark on her shoulder and base of her neck is clear. "Don't shoot me yet, I'm still speaking," she says flatly.

Tiffany Lyle

In the Woods - Crash Site

Tiffany pocketed the weapon Astrid handed her from the girl Chloe. She seemed friendly, but of course, no one could be trusted on the offset. Though she was willing to show kindness as the group in the school took her and Ray in with no expectation on them. She nodded as the woman began to work on Ray, who was awake. She squeezed his hand as Chloe worked on him, "Tiffany. Nice to meet you."

As she worked, Tiffany kept an eye on Astrid, who seemed to be doing well all things considered. She knew she didn't have much time, but she still made sure Ray and the other boy were being taken care of. She lost her friends, she could tell she was upset about it as she moved the corpse over and put a sheet over her. She deserved respect and Tiffany will have to remember to mourn for them once she was in safety.

Which seemed to be happening. In a short span of time, she noticed another vehicle approach. Astrid seemed to recognize them and she hoped it was from Newnan. She still remained next to Ray, holding his hand, and kept an eye on them regardless. For all she knew, they may consider them dead weight and off them all. This world tended to skew your moral view a bit. Astrid seemed to trust them so she let them do their thing. She hoped they could get back to Newnan soon so Ray and the boy could be properly taken care of and they can deal with the horde without much worry.

Niesha

building one, the infirmary

While Titania appeared fine, Niesha wasn't going to take anymore chances. She'd check her out head to toe, if she had to. She didn't want to lose anyone else because of her incompetence. "I understand that, but..." She sighed, and gave a shrug, moving her hands down, squeezing Titania's arms, hands, "Can you do this for me?" She asked, demonstrating pressing her own ribs, and chest, although she suspected everything was okay there, given that the woman seemed to be talking easily enough.

Once that was done, Nieshaa moved to grab some things, seeking to clean any cuts or scrapes that Titania had, as well as bandage anything that needed that little bit of support. "I hope there is no more problems too, but it sounds like a war zone out there" She said with a sigh, patching Titania up as best she could "Probably best to keep you here." She hoped that Sophia was okay, but not wanting to get herself worked up, Niesha pushed those thoughts away. She had to focus on what was in front of her.

"There's more injuried coming in from outside newman, not to mention those out in the streets injuried from the blasts, if any of them are badly hurt, Froggy will send them here, Kris...I know you don't know much about this, but maybe you could collect info on whats wrong with them? that way I can know who needs my attention first, which is more serious, and if I can do anything for them" She said after drawing in a deep breath to soothe herself.

Kristina Smith

Location: Building 1 (Infirmary) -> Building 6 (Outside of Armory)

Kristina smiled slightly and gave Tatiana a slight nod as she listened to her words, she spent a lot of the last month dealing with the loss of her sister and her friend. She just simply kept herself busy as best she could doing her assigned jobs in the fields and tending to the animals. And then just doing what she could from thinking about the family she lost during the early days of the outbreak losing her father, mother and her twin sister, and then Maria a month ago. "I try and not think of the people who were close to me who died." Kris said softly as she looked towards Tatiana and smiled at her for a moment when she answered her question where she was from. Kristina then started to hear someone's voice on the radio in the infirmary that there was someone outside of the northern exit wall. "I'm sure it's nothing."

"I was from Pennsylvania when all this started on my way home from high school when the outbreak started." Kristina answered and then watched as Niesha went over and continued to probe Tatiana to make sure she was alright. "I think she shes fine Niesha." Kristina said and then nodded slightly when Niesha asked her to go out and see who were the worse off injured and who were the least injured. "I'll go and do that."

Riley Ridgeway

Loctation: Downtown Franklin, GA -> Heard County High School (Outside of the gates)

Riley made sure she remained hidden behind the car she was hiding behind and watched as the trucks and cars drove past her, noting the way that they drove harmlessly through the mass of empty and abandoned cars. They certainly knew how to get out easily, sadly Riley didn't and that's how she got the flat on her car. "Just hope no one steals my only ride." Riley said to herself as the last of the vehicles quickly left the town of Franklin. Once the coast was clear Riley stood up and continued to make her way further into town easily avoiding the dumb walkers that had gotten themselves caught in the car traps.

She made sure to be careful however drawing out her crossbow as she kept her distance from the walkers and continued looking at the various buildings, they seemed to have been picked dry already. Riley groaned slightly to herself she was hoping for some water and food of some kind. But it seemed like a good thing. If the group whoever they were that just drove past her, they could have attacked another settlement or group, if they weren't killed off yet or they were still alive then maybe they were friendly and they could provide her some food and rest. And maybe a spare tire for her car.

Riley remembered the way that the cars had driven out of town and started to follow the same route that they had just taken, as she got closer Riley noticed a school in the distance. Closing her eyes Riley started to slowly approach the school once she was close enough hoping that they didn't shoot her. Riley started to set down her weapons on the ground and held her hands up and took a few steps away from her gear. "Hey is anyone there?" Riley yelled out towards the people who were tending to their wounded and dead from the attack.

Meghna Kumar

Location: Smokey Road -> Crash Site

"Yes sir." Meghna said as she switched to a different frequency on the radio that she had setting it down in the cup holder next to her as Meg continued to drive down Smokey Road. "I'll give you a heads up what I find." Meghna said over the radio passing by the few walkers, as well as the car remains. Meg took a few backroads and dirt roads, looking around for their fellow Newnanites until a few minutes later she had found them. Meghna flashed her cars lights towards them and then took out her radio once she stopped the car looking at the group from Franklin and then towards Astrid the only person she could see.

"I found them Ashton." Meghna said as she stepped out of the car looking around and then over towards Astrid seeing the woman covered in blood. Then she could see the large bite mark as the wind brushed by. Meghna sighed loudly as she ran a hand through her hair as she waited for Ashton and the Buster to come through. Meg saw the body of Tryke covered over by a blanket then looked over at Astrid. "What happened?" Meg finally asked.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Crash Site

Raymond watched as Chloe climbed into the back of the truck as he watched the woman taking out her first aide kit, Ray groaned loudly Chloe applied pressure to his stump and putting a clean set of bandages on again. "Hurts like a mother fucker, is that a good answer?" Ray said as he held onto Tiffany's hand he looked towards the other kid that was laying on the bed of the truck next to him and gave Ciel a slight smile. He watched as the people from Franklin took Tryke's body off of the trees she got herself impaled on. "Raymond by the way." Ray said slightly as he looked towards Astrid and nodded.

Ray didn't want to make things worse for himself than it already has, he watched as the herd of walkers continued to head towards Newnan he turned towards Tiffany he was still glad she was still by his side. He continued to stay still for awhile closing his eyes to rest up a bit, until he saw some lights flashing he opened them again seeing a sedan parking. And another woman who seemed to know Astrid, finally they were there and hopefully he could survive a bit longer once they were safe and sound.

Ciel

Location - Crash site

Ciel flinched a bit as Raymond made direct eye contact with him and offered a warm smile, though the kid did eventually smile back hesitantly. He'd grown a bit unused to these sorts of normal interactions, in the long time he'd been mostly on his own. He'd been shy and isolated to begin with, mostly the fault of his late overprotective parents. The sudden chaotic situation only succeeded in further stunting his social skills. If he'd been older and more developed at the time of the apocalypse, he probably wouldn't have been this heavily affected. He'd taken on a stoic attitude to the prospect of death, but simple things seemed to make him paranoid.

But aside from that, he seemed to be doing okay. A little nauseous, and still with a dry throat, but most of the pain had subsided. It would be a while before he was eating normally, but at least he wasn't really suffering that much anymore. He curled his knees up to his chest, watching as other people started to approach the scene. He figured they were probably from Newnan, here to give them a helping hand. However, the possibility that they were raiders masquerading as aids was still out there, and so he pushed himself further into the back of the truck and stayed in his crumpled fetal position, thinking that in the worst case scenario, he would play dead and hope they didn't have the sense to check.

Amelia Payne

Location: Heard County High School – infirmary

“Ehhh... decent enough, but... it's been a while.” Amelia replied as she was neatly arranging the things needed to know where each thing was and what position and for easy access when it's turn arrived. This was going to be her first time sewing a wound it seemed and she was just a tad bit nervous about it. Granted she had seen bad wounds before, but never had to stitch anyone before. Then again with the medic out, the wound in urgent need of treatment couldn't wait. Hopefully things don't go bad! She was going to give it her best.

“Alright, I will be careful.” Amelia finally said as she was ready to get the quick instructions on what to do.

“Yes... I've got that feeling.” The blonde replied with a mix of uncomfortable and sad face, as if remembering something bad.” Quite a few times in fact.” She added and sighed, looking at her hands.” So, where should I begin?” She asked, one of her arms hovering about hte arranged things she had prepared according to Sana's instructions.

Jack Hudson

Location: The Hordebuster

As Bazhooli helped him inside of the armored truck, Jack's thoughts were again on Tatiana. The explosions that shook the city made him more concerned with each and every passing moment. What if there were intruders? Tatiana was tough, and he knew that she could handle herself...But he wanted to be there for her, more than anything. He had his weapons holstered, but years of being a cop meant that he was always ready to draw in a moment's notice.

"Thanks for taking care of the walkah, man," Jack said, nodding at Bazhooli. The thought that it could be a set-up only served to make Jack more and more nervous. With the world having gone to shit, people seemed to take that as an excuse to treat others like shit. The logic to it was sad, but terrifying as well. Who could trust anyone these days? But at the same time, the thought that the people of Newnan would let him help already warmed his heart.

He could trust these people.

Once they arrived at the crash site, Jack glanced at Ash, awaiting further orders. Military command wasn't too different from the chain of command in the police. And he really didn't want to get on Ashton's bad side. It wasn't the type of impression he intended to make.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Outside Newnan

"Refuge!" Beatrice replied, her hands up in the air. Her mind flashed back to childhood memories, running around the streets of Justice, and dashing in and out of alleyways to ditch the few cops who still gave a damn about law and order. Those had been the days, when a jail cell was the worst type of hell. But with the explosions coming from the settlement, a new sort of hell could descend upon her quickly. And Beatrice wasn't in the mood to be eaten to death by the walking dead.

"Those explosions are going to attract a bunch of walkers!" Beatrice continued. "Once the hoard has cleared, I'll move on!"

If they had any human decency to them, they'd let her inside. But with all of the guns pointed at her, she felt like it was just as likely that they'd pump her body full of lead, and riddle her with holes. Though, she figured that was still a better death than the walkers. And she disliked the fact that she had to raise her voice, in order to be heard. Silence tended to be key when avoided the walking dead.

A fact that these people appeared to fail to understand.

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: Truck in the Woods

Tiffany, Raymond, and Astrid. The kid looked too sick to introduce himself, but Chloe kept herself focused on her own patient. She kept the pressure on for fifteen minutes, but from the lack of further supplies, she continued on with it. It wouldn't hurt, and it was all she could do to stem the blood flow. It was ironic, Chloe realized--it took the world ending for her to do work in the profession she studied for. It took the world ending for her to abandon a life of drugs and regret. In a way, it was a second chance.

She desperately wanted to ask if they knew her sister. From what they explained, with blood type matching and blood transfusions on hand, they had to be part of some sort of settlement. And Riley wasn't dumb--she would've found these people by now, Chloe was positive. The vehicles approaching, with more and more people jumping out of them, only confirmed her suspicions. If anyone knew where Riley was, it would be these people.

However, as the wind stirred and revealed the bite on Astrid's neck, Chloe's hope changed to fear. Her questions died in her throat, and it was all she could do to keep pressure on Ray's leg. The woman was going to die and turn soon enough. And there she had been, entirely defenseless, laying down her own weapons. Was this her karma for everything she had done before? That she'd be placed so close to death? For all she knew, the rest of the people there were concealing bites as well.

Chloe was slightly paranoid, to say the least.

Ash Holloway

Location: The Hordebuster

The Hordebuster carried on as it was designed, forward with dread certainty. Were he outside of the vehicle witnessing its approach, it would likely a very intimidating sight. But piloting this beast (as one does not merely drive a truck like this) gave him a sense of righteous motivation. He was going to get there, he was going to save his people, he was going to get the wounded back home. As if to underscore the afore mentioned dread certainty, he began to come across the Dead. A trickle at first, but in rising numbers.

The few that straggled on the road met with a gruesome end, caught by the giant wedge on the front of the vehicle and flung far and wide. The pitter-patter of metallic clunking sounds percussed in Ash's ears, a good half of them popping like overripe fruit as the Hordebuster rolled through. Most were off the road, but it was a small matter of time before they decided that his massive truck was a more attractive lure than whatever they were after originally. After taking the call from Astrid, the obvious answer: They were interested in Newnan. Explosions did that, apparently.

They would be safe inside the 'Buster, all of them, if he could get his people inside. Newnan had good walls, they would be okay, too. But they had to move fast. About that time, Meg's voice came through his radio.

"Good. We'll be there in less than a minute. Hold tight."

Less Than A Minute Later...

There were times that Ash was bothered by his kneejerk ability to bury his emotions under a layer of matte granite rationalism. Disturbed, even. It allowed an open, genuinely feeling person like himself to do things that were horrible in nature, barbaric even, without hesitation or moral compunction. Then there were times like now that he was grateful to be able to bury his almost compromising grief and shock. More death. So much more death. People he didn't know, people he did. Bridgette was dead, outright. Some lady he'd never met, impaled on the limbs of the fallen tree. Others in the back of the crashed truck, but Ash couldn't tell if they were living or dead from his vantage. And Astrid - She wasn't dead yet, but it was inevitable.

Two of his went out, and he lost them both. More than that, he had really taken a liking to them both. Ash could easily say that women like that didn't exist anymore. And that was truly a shame. "You don't get a bullet, Astrid." he responded to the Shieldmaiden, quietly. "Not unless you ask for it or you're already dead. When we're done here, if you need help with something more appropriate, talk to me." The gruff Captain tapped the handle of his machete. One soldier to another, if she wanted a warrior's death he would be honorbound to provide it. But not right then. Right then, he climbed atop the fallen tree to assess the situation more fully.

He tried very hard to avert his gaze from Bridgette's corpse, though he was glad to see that the same courtesy he had offered Astrid had been given to her. Ash deepened his voice and addressed everyone present. "Here's the deal: We have a clear path back, or at least we did five minutes ago. I need everyone able to get the wounded over this tree and into the back of the 'Buster. Now, some of the Dead might have decided to follow us back, so we need to make this quick."

"Meg: Take a drive back up, see if you can pull off any of the Dead trailing us. Grab a bag of Molotovs if you think you'll need them. We've got three."

"Jack: Cop, right? Climb up the 'Buster's ladder, get a good vantage point. Lookout." Ash offered the Massachusetts native his carbine. "It'll just get in my way."

"Bazhooli: You've got good arms. Help them with the wounded and supplies."

Ash himself pulled his machete and began cutting away branches from the downed tree, clearing an easier path for the transfer. "Let's look alive, people. Lot to get done, little time to do it."

The Great Bazhooli

Location: The Hordebuster, Crash Site

"Is nothing, Jack." responded The Great Bazhooli rather optimistically. "You kill next one."

Inside the Hordebuster, Bazhooli looked about with a small amount of wonder on his face. This hunk of moving parts and scarred metal was a home, rather than just a machine built to splatter dead things across the countryside. There was a bed in back. There were weapons. There were supplies, pictures, and the faint but unmistakable smell of young liquor. He didn't have the opportunity to see what had been done to the dump bed of the vehicle, at least not yet, but he was very curious. It reminded him of his train car, the place he had lived for quite some time before his circus was destroyed by raiders.

He maintained his optimism, though, fighting back the sorrow of losing his people. He looked to Jack, pointing out various interesting bits inside of the cabin. For some reason, The Great Bazhooli did not feel that he should begin plucky conversation with Ash, at least not at this time.

When they reached the Crash Site, Bazhooli had reflexively reached for two of his knives. It took a second to realize that these were the people they had come to assist. He felt a little foolish, smiled awkwardly, and kept quiet. When he was given an assignment, he blurted out a quick "Slushayus', Kapitan!"1, and immediately jumped into it. For the sake of easier labor, Bazhooli leaned his rifle against the Hordebuster, near the suicide door from which he exited the truck. Easy access in case of an emergency. He glanced back at Jack. They didn't actually know each other, at all really. But they were both very new to this group. There was a sense of camaraderie about that - he didn't know what to expect from these people, but he was united with Jack and Tatiana in that same uncertainty, he reckoned. Nothing to do now but trust, be useful, and get back to Newnan and his cat, wherever the hell Schrodinger had gotten himself off to.

Black James(!)

Location: Building 1 (Tower)

James got the message loud and clear through his radio. A single person coming up to the Northern exit. They didn't use that as an entrance, generally. Hell, he wasn't even sure that they could crack the gate open to let someone in. He held the walkie up to his face, staring at it for a second. James wasn't actually sure how to proceed. Either someone generally let him know how to best help, it was outside of his duties (and therefore easy to ignore), or it fell into one of the few things he was really good at. He snapped out of it, and spoke into the mic.

"Naw man, that's... naw. Ain't nobody shootin' nobody right now. We got enough dead folks and not enough bullets." Well, if there's a guard for the North Gate, they've got to know how to open it. So, what was that thing that Ash and Zoie kept saying when someone showed up unannounced? "Aight, y'all know the drill. Guest drops weapons. Security detail to the North Gate. Y'all crack it open when detail shows up. I'll be there in two minutes."

James nodded over to Guy. Of course he had this. It's what Guy did. Well, aside from shoveling pigshit when he pissed off the Boss. He gathered his weapons up and began to move toward the North Gate at a jog. Damned unexpected visitors, making him run again...

Time Of Death: Evening, June 13th, 2010

The Crash Site - Astrid looked over towards Meg as a few droplets of sweat beaded down her brow. It was obvious that the fever was setting in on her. "Hoard... Got Bridgette, we lost the horses. One man that was coming to help with prosthetics got thrown and impaled, we lost him. Boy with a compound fracture severed an artery on the way, we lost him. The woman was thrown from her bike when we came around the corner and she re-ended the truck. Landed on the tree. Me... Walker, retrieving Bridgette's body," she said rather flatly but that was her normal tone, though it did seem weaker than it normally did.

"No need, I will take care it myself once we reach the outer wall. I will not enter. I simple request a burning for myself and Bridgette once I take care of my last act," Astrid said to Ash once he finished giving orders. "We have several that need to be transported back to Newnan for medical attention. One severed limb, Ray. One severe malnutrition, Ciel. Tiffany and Chloe there are tending to the two. Chloe has medical training. Truck cannot make it back to Newnan, need to transport rest of remaining Franklin folk to Newnan to meet up with Beni," Astrid added as she stood there before walking off towards the back of the Buster and climbing up as best she could to the top where Jack would be setting up look out. "If I drop just let me go," she said matter of factly as she sat down.

Things seemed pretty calm as they began to move people from the back of the truck and over the tree. That was until the Russian caught some of the blood soaked wood that was there thanks to Tryke's little impalement and well... You see, he was trying to move one of the people over the try with the help of someone else. He laid down his end of the stretcher to step over and shit went south... He ended up doing the same damn thing. Except not through his chest but his eye socket and down till his skull bulged at the back side. Seems Jack needs to find a new best man.

Inside Franklin High School - "Okay, just start at the one end of the cut and work your way to the other like you would sewing up a rip in your shirt. Tie off each stitch as you go, should only take 10 or so to get it done," she said as she took her belt off and laid her head down with the belt between her teeth. Before she did that she slipped off her jacket and tossed it to the side, revealing the long trail of burn scars along her shoulder. "Alright, go for it girl, you got this," she asurred Amelia with the belt in her mouth.

Outside Franklin High School - Lyon was out in front of the school, along with others dealing with the left over remains of the injured and those that had died. Hearing a voice Lyon looked over past the chain link fence and stood up to his full height. "Hold your fire," he instructed as he stepped over towards the gate and motioned for the girl to come over to the fence. "Pick up your weapons, last thing you need is to be stuck out there and get eaten before we can do anything about it. Now, rules. You come in and try anything, we will kill you without a single question. You need something, we will help you as long as you work. We don't put up with anything. No fighting, no bickering, no hassles. No tolerance policy. If you can handle that, you can come in," he said as he undid the chain on the gate and opened it slightly. "So gonna come in or stay out there? I really gotta get back to these bodies," he said tapping his foot slightly.

Newnan Northern Gate - "Alright Mr. James," the man radioed in and then turned his attention towards the woman on the street after calling for a detail to meet James down at the outer portion of the northern gate. It was rare they ever used this gate, in fact most were required to walk around to the southern gate because coverage was better there for those defending the wall. "Weapons on the ground," the man called down to her. Once she had placed them on the ground and James had arrived the gate would be cracked open just wide enough to let one out at a time. The detail would take point coming in and surrounding her as the wall kept an eye out for Walkers along the north end of the city.

Newnan Streets - Outside Kris would see Froggy helping various people get small cuts and bruises tended to. Dick was heading back towards Zoie's house, his arm was obvious hurt considering the bandage on it but Froggy just looked over at Kris and shook his head. It was obvious it was better to just let the man go for now, Dick was hard enough to get along with at the best of times. Right then, Froggy felt he would just snap on anyone would get near him. Standing up he ushered a couple of people over towards the infirmary before stepping over to Kris as he cleaned his hands off on a rag. "We have a lil' problem. Sophia," he said as he motioned towards her body. "Do not want to take her in and have Niesha see just yet. Help me get her into the back room where I have Zoie's body through the back entrance please," he said with a sad voice.

Newnan Infirmary - Tatiana mimicked what Niesha wanted her to do, she was a little stiff in some movements but nothing major. Lowering her arms, she held still as Niesha cleaned up the small cut on her forehead and placed a little band-aid on it. "Dank you," she said with a slightly less nervous smile as she slipped off the gurney and stood up. Nodding towards Kris as Kris headed out of the infirmary. "I can help here vhile she out there helping Doctor. I knov basic first aide, learn from EMT out in... vhere vas dat? Place Dorthy from? Kansas?" she said softly. A couple of Newnan folk came into the Infirmary, glancing around and just having a seat. There were a few small second degree burns that needed more tending to, a couple of scrapes and bruises. The burns were the worst of it is seemed, people who had helped with the fire had gotten too close but they had managed to get everything put out before anything else went boom.

Ciel

Location - Crash site

Ciel had nothing left to do but comply with these people, whoever they were. Based on everyone's reactions to them, Ciel was fairly certain they could be trusted. At the very least, the Viking-type woman with the bite seemed to know them, and she had come from Newnan after all. This seemed to confirm Ciel's assumption that these people were there from Newnan to bail them out of this terrible situation. He listened carefully to everything that was being said, though he couldn't make much of it. Though he was no longer on the verge of death, he was still uncomfortable enough that it was difficult to concentrate on the sounds of people's voices. Most of the noise just ended up adding to his headache instead of registering in his brain as processable information.

Anyway, the eleven year old was glad to be moved out of the corpse-filled truck. He was surprised that on a voyage with such a high death count, he was one of the lucky ones who made it out. However, as they tried to get everyone across, one of the men from Newnan got a tree branch through his eye and expired. Ciel shuddered. That was not a good way to go. He quickly forced down his discomfort and stayed still so as to not be annoying to those trying to carry him across. The best he could do right now was not to be more of a liability than he had to.

Kristina Smith

Location: Building 6 (Outside of Armory) -> Building 1 (Back Room of the Infirmary)

Kristina looked towards Tatiana for a moment as she was about to leave the infirmary and returned the smile, she started moving back outside and headed over towards the armory. Just as she got closer she could see Dick storming off towards Zoie's house, she had a feeling that Froggy had just told him what had happened to Zoie. Kris sighed slightly she wasn't going to head over and try and cheer him up as much as she hated the man, he would most likely snap at her if she even tried to comfort him. Kristina turned her attention towards Froggy as he approached her, seeing him gesturing towards Sophia's body, Kris closed her eyes for a moment letting out a slight sigh. Kris considered Sophia a friend, and she knew that her and Niesha loved one another. Kristina turned back towards Froggy, she would tell Niesha what happened.

"I'll tell her once things settle down.." Kristina said softly as she moved over and kneeled down next to her friend looking down at her burnt body. Kristina then went to lift up Sophia's upper body as Froggy grabbed Sophia's legs, she started to head back towards the Infirmary making her way through the alleyway and then opened the back door to the infirmary. Once they were inside Kristina limped over and grabbed a white sheet and draped it over Sophia's body. Kris then looked over at Zoie's body and then looked over at him. "We also just lost Tom as well." She told him, she hated losing friends or watching them die and having to tell them the news

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Heard County High School (Outside of the gates)

As Riley stood there she looked towards the man as he approached the chain link fence, when he told everyone to stand down she started to relax and then moved over to grab her weapons. At least no one was trigger happy at least not yet as she approached the fence Riley stood there and listened to Lyon as he gave her the rules. "I come in peace. Live long and prosper?" Riley said doing a Vulcan hand sign jokingly. "I wont do anything I promise." Riley said as she was let into the gates, her eyes wondered around the outside of the school it seemed to be an alright set up as she quickly turned to face Lyon. "I'm Riley by the way." She said as she swung her crossbow over her shoulder and extended her hand towards the man.

Her eyes then wondered over towards the bodies that laid on the ground and some of the others tending to the wounded, Riley came to the conclusion that they were the ones that were attacked by that convoy of cars and trucks earlier. "I'm assuming you guys were attacked a few moments ago. I saw some vehicles on my way here heading out of town." She said she then remembered her car was just outside of town, though it could be picked up later. "Anyway is there anyway I can help?" Riley asked she wanted to help these people and also gain their trust.

Meghna Kumar

Location: Crash Site

Meghna eyed Astrid she could see that the fever was already setting in and she sounded like she was out of breath slightly, she hated seeing someone slowly die from a walker bite. "The Edgar and Cadence made it back to Newnan." Meg told Astrid hoping that would put her mind at ease. She knew that the horses would be taken care of by the people who worked livestock and they will be in good hands. She listened to Astrid as she gave them a briefing on what had happened, they lost two of their own due to a herd of walkers and then two more who were from Franklin. Meg looked towards the man with the missing leg and the malnourished kid in the bed of the truck, they were alive still it seemed which was a good thing.

Meg turned her attention towards Ashton as he moved over and started to give orders, she nodded slightly she didn't like the idea of going alone with a herd of walkers out there. But they needed to be lured away from Newnan, Meg moved over towards the Buster and grabbed a bag of Molotov's and made her way back towards her car. "I'll lure them as far away from you guys as possible, i'll be on the radio if you need me." Meghna got inside and slowly started backing up and started to head down the road making sure she didn't stray to far from the rest of the group.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Crash Site

Raymond covered his eyes slightly as he saw some car lights flash seeing a woman getting out of the car, and then a few moments later a giant hulk of a truck came by. It reminded him of something out of Monster Jam, Ray then assumed that it was from the people from Newnan since they didn't attack them and Astrid seemed to know the group that came out of the two new vehicles. Ray looked towards Tiffany for a moment and smiled slightly as he continued to let Chloe do her best to hold pressure on the stump.

Ray watched as everyone quickly got to work, he watched as one of the people from Newnan slipped and fell onto one of the branches through the eyesocket. Ray visible flinched seeing that, at least the man wasn't going to be turning from that though he didn't even know the Russian man's name. He hoped that the rest of the trip would go smoothly though he didn't want to see anyone else die because of him, if he didn't get bit the people could possible be alive now he thought.

Tiffany Lyle

In the Woods - Crash Site

Tiffany watched as Chloe worked on Ray and Ciel, tending to them even though they were strangers. She kept close to Ray, but made sure Ciel was doing all right too. She pitied the other boy and wondered if Ciel was going through anything. It couldn't be easy, being so young and dealing with all of this.

She was thankful the other people pulled up. She hoped they would be able to get out of here soon and back to shelter. It seemed people were dropping like flies. They lost their Viking women escort as well as the young boy with them. They needed to get back as soon as possible.

She looked over as Astrid talked to the group. She wondered how long the woman had. She was tough and she hoped she would have a peaceful end that she deserved. She would leave that up to the others, though. She simply helped Chloe look after the patients and waited for orders as to where she should go.

Niesha

building one, the infirmary

Niesha smiled, relieved that Titania seemed to be okay. She'd still keep an eye on her, but then she'd keep an eye on everyone that seemed to be coming in. She quickly looked over those coming in, and looked back to Titania "That would be great, thank you. If you run into something you don't know what to do, call me over" She said gratefully, gaze flicking over to Tom for a moment. Perhaps if some of the injuried coming in weren't too bad, she'd ask a couple of them to take Tom away. She drew in a deep breath, and tryign to catelouge the injuries in her mind, she approached those that had just come in, quickly washing her hands.

Beginning to deal with the burns, watching for any serious bleeding, Niesha soon slipped into a rhythm as she cleaned burns and cuts, putting on the appropriate dressings and taking quick observations, just in case. She checked on the supplies she had gathered, wondering if she would need more. Chances were. But she didn't want to leave titania alone for the time it would take to gather them, just in case something bad happened.

Besides, she knew that more was coming, and she wanted to be there when they arrived. She hoped things weren't bad out there, but from the way it appeared, they were. How many more people were going to die, tonight?

Amelia Payne

Location: Heard County High School – infirmary

“I see...” Amelia replied as she was told how to make the stitches along the wound. Ten was quite the number and frankly she didn't even want to think about how much it was going to hurt Sana while she was sewing her up.

Finally Amelia took a deep breath as Sana readied herself for the upcoming pain. The blonde couldn't help, but notice the trail of burn scars across the other woman's shoulder. What a strange coincidence that was. She then nodded to herself, steadying her nerves as she started the medical procedure. She decided to start from the bottom up.” Alright, let's do this!” Amelia stated to indicate that she was starting and quickly started working on the first stitch.

Jack Hudson

Location: The Hordebuster Roof

As they exited the truck, Jack took in the scene of destruction. It wasn't too often that he saw auto-accidents, having only worked as a beat cop for a few years. But of the few he had seen, none of them compared to this. Bodies were scattered around, a man was missing a limb, and the spunky Newnanite who hit on him earlier laid dead. It disturbed him to think that just an hour or so ago, he had been patching up the fence with her. And Bazhooli had planned on asking her to strip at a bachelor party.

"Got it, boss," Jack responded, as Ashton instructed him to take lookout. Astrid had already climbed up there, and from the bite on her neck, things didn't look too good for her. It was a wicked bite, in just about one of the worst areas to be bitten as well. An amputation was impossible for her--she was going to die. His heart went out to her as he climbed up the ladder to get a vantage point, serving as a lookout. Of course, he was slightly wary.

His companion on the roof could turn into a walker at any moment. But as Bazhooli glanced back at him, Jack grinned a bit at his friend. Bonds formed and fell apart quickly in the apocalypse--he hadn't known the man very long, and already, Jack considered Bazhooli to not just be his best man, but his best friend. After Tatiana, of course. He kept his eyes peeled, watching to see if any walkers came towards the small group--but he glanced away as he heard a soft scream of surprise.

The sound had come from the ginger girl tending to the cripple. His hand automatically reaching for his sidearm, he faltered when he saw the cause of her scream. "Bazhooli..." Jack croaked. The Russian man was limp, impaled on the tree. To say it was a freak accident was an understatement. Jack started to move to run towards his friend, but his police training kicked in. He couldn't just abandon his post.

Jack blinked, attempting to clear the water from his eyes. He couldn't even remember Bazhooli's real name--all he knew was that he had promised to take care of Bazhooli's cat, as if the Russian had known he wouldn't survive the trip. Jack clenched his fist slightly, making a silent vow. That furball was going to be one of the best cared for cats that ever lived. It was all he could do to honor Bazhooli.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Newnan Northern Gate

Beatrice felt a bit of relief, once the armed company agreed to let her inside the settlement. All she'd have to do then would be wait out whatever walker onslaught was to come, and try to avoid the fantastic explosion sensation that was going on. Still, their paranoia about her weapons was a slight reassurance. They weren't entirely idiotic when it came to security, it seemed. Perhaps they had just been having an off moment before--not that she was intending to stay for very long, of course.

Pulling her pistol out slowly, Beatrice set it on the ground, her hands in the air. She didn't trust these people--certainly not enough to think one of them wouldn't get trigger happy and kill her anyways. However, as the gate creaked open enough for her to come through, Beatrice couldn't help but smile. It was fortunate she was a patient person in general, as she waited for further instructions without too much annoyance.

Ash Holloway

Location: Crash Site

Someone else very near to Ash had fallen. This time, not so much of an emotional connection as it was a proximal one - the odd Cossack died directly in front of him as he was climbing across the downed tree, slipping in someone else's blood and getting a brainfull of freshly splintered tree branch. It should have been shocking to Ash. He should have been taken aback, repulsed, something. Instead, the initial reaction was to snap his head up, as someone might if they heard a nearby, unidentified sound. When he saw that the newcomer was completely limp, not even so much as a leg spasm to indicate firing nerves or biological protest, the weary Captain just sighed.

This death was fast and merciful. Pointless, but significantly less tragic than many ways he could have gone. It did seem a shame; the man had traveled for a long while, suffering much in his time since the Outbreak. All he wanted was a home, family, friends. The day that he found it just happened to be the day that he put his foot in the wrong spot and died, purely by misadventure.

"I am goddamned sick of death." growled Ash, taking one more hack at the branch upon which he was working. It fell from the trunk, providing him unrestricted access to the still-warm body of The Great Bazhooli. He got a firm hold on the broad-shouldered man and heaved him from his arboreal impaler, laying him upon the ground nearby. "We have more dead than wounded. Great. Alright, we get the living first. There are two couches in the dump body of the 'Buster. Let's move them there. Plenty more room than the back of that truck. Our fallen next. I have a big, blue tarp we can use for cover."

His tone was methodical, even cold. It wasn't heartlessness that inspired it, more than a sort of emotional anesthetic common to men of his former occupation. There was a job to do. If it didn't get done, even more people would die. It wasn't the healthiest habit to have, but it did help in the meantime. Of course, in the recesses of his brain, a part of him impotently slammed his fists against a stone wall, hitting until knuckles split and blood ran, raging tempests against the hell of their circumstance. It wasn't fair. Just wasn't.

It wasn't fair that Alicia died. Nor Leann, nor Caesar, nor Lorna. Nor anyone else under his watch, and many followed. Names and faced swirled, threatening to overwhelm his capacity to hold back emotion in the face of duty. Not yet, Captain. Cry on your own time. We aren't done yet.

The instant of emotion on Ash's face fell away, replaced by stone. "Got a job to do. Let's move." As if to get the ball rolling, the grim man maneuvered Bazhooli's corpse into a fireman's carry, and rolled him to the other side of the tree. "Clear path, time to do this."

Black James(!)

Location: North Gate

"How y'all doing, Miss Lady?" began James, just slightly out of breath from his unwanted jog to the Northern Gate. He had his 9mm out but pointed to the ground, and kept his voice friendlyish. When he saw one of the guys on Security recover her pistol and the gate shut, he holstered his own weapon. "Aight, if'n you be as kind, hold open that jacket an' give us a spin, k?"

James was kind of new at this. Mostly, he made sure that things were growing and meat was good and smoky. "Look, I ain't the usual guy at this. Here's what happens most the time: We keep a guard on you 'till the Head Guy can ask you some questions. We got one building with the air conditioning, we bring folks first. Ask some questions, like why you here n'such. So, 'less you wanna stand right there for a long time or walk back out, you need come with us."

"Name of James. Most folks call me Black James, sure you can guess why. Hey! You hungry?" He began to walk back to the inner gate, conscious of the fact that a stranger was in their midst. The casual manner in which he acted was in no small part due to the fact that there were people he trusted with firearms at the ready, very nearby. "Don't worry there, Miss. Whenever you wanna go, you can go. Hey, what's that name again?"

The Crash Site - Meg is able to back up and head out, taking a an unmapped dirt road to get in front of the hoard. It isn't as big as the one that came around Newnan last time thankfully and because it hadn't rained heavily the last week the road was dry. There were some trees down but nothing blocking the road completely. She will be able to get the hoard to follow her for the most part, minus a few stranglers. Over at the crash site, after the Russian's death, things move quickly. Between the group that came from Newnan and those form Franklin the bodies are moved quickly into the back of the Hoard buster. Astrid climbs down from her perch, slowly and weakly even though she refuses to accept any help and sits by the dead that are piled up. Looking down at Bridgette as she runs her hands over her dead friends braids and speaks softly words she hoped she would never have to say. "Lo there do I see my father; Lo there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers; Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, they do call me, they bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever." It was time to go and move out. Everyone was in place, the crew just needed to climb in and Ash needed to take the wheel to get them "home."

Franklin High School - "Alright Spock, come on in," Lyon chuckled as he shook her extended hand. Letting her enter the grounds and the gate closing behind her and the guards locking things back up, for all it was worth. "Yeah, fucking Eden I bet my hat on it, if I wore a hat," he added as he motioned for him to follow him. He gave some directions to the people outside about how to deal with the bodies and where to start digging the graves, taking a moment to look down at Ed's body and shaking his head. Turning he lead her inside. "Well, it seems a lot of positions just opened, so yeah can use some help most likely but first want you to get check out and cleaned up." Leading her over to the infirmary Sana was laying on the table, grunting through the stitches that Amelia was putting into her calf as he bit down on the leather. It wasn't pretty stitching but it would do the job. Once the last stitch was out she spit out the belt form her mouth and looked over towards Lyon and the new comer. "Who's she?" she asked lifting her head off the table some. "Riley. Riley, this is Sana and Amelia, I'm Lyon, they'll take care of you," he said before stepping back to the door. Stopping he looked over at Amelia and Sana. "Mike is outside digging graves, I'll send him in a bit to get some cuts cleaned," he added before leaving the room. Sana sat up slowly and motioned for the bandages. "Okay, welcome to Franklin. Amelia can you wrap up the leg now, just to keep it clean."

Newnan Northern Gate - Everything is clear for now, you two are good to continue into the town. The outer northern emergency gate will close up and lock up tight once you are inside - the same will happen with the inner gate once you move to that point. Right now, the rolls are in your favor.

Newnan Streets - Froggy shakes his head. "Too much death," was all he could say before hoisting Sophia up with the help of Kris and moving towards the back door of the Court House, he didn't want to risk someone else seeing and alerting Neisha right then. Opening the door he slowly moves in and glances around, remembering that right now Zoie was laid in the back with a sheet over her head but that the gurney she was on was blocking the door. "Second though, this way," he said moving down the hallway to the lock up area of the court house. The man guarding Ryan looked at them oddly. "Just temporary," was all Froggy said as Ryan looked over ad stood up. Hey, old man, what's going on out there? Sounds like WWIII," Ryan asked but Froggy ignored him and laid down Sophia's body in another cell before looking over at Kris and pulling her in for a hug. He wasn't sure if he was hugging him for her or for him. Didn't matter right then.

Newnan Infirmary - "Vill do," Tatiana said as she went over to the people as they came in, going over what was wrong with them. The simple cases she took, just cleaning out cuts and bruises, bandaging up some lacerations and such. Larger cuts that would need a stitch or two, burns, those things she sent over to Niesha to take care of, she knew the basics but figured since Niesha was put in charge by the doctor when he left she should hand over the more complicated matters to who she was assuming was the nurse in the infirmary, or at least some sort of medical professional. Everything Tatiana new was taught since the out break,so there was no formal training but she had learned a lot back in Kansas and could handle the basics. "Good to be busy, bad that people hurt but better to be busy. Hate sitting around vaiting with nothing to do, makes mind think vorst," she said as she helped Miss Sally over to Niesha, the woman had some hand burns and was bleeding lightly from a cut on her scalp.
