Personality: If you personified the modern view of chivalry and made it larger than life, you would be most of the way to Reinhardt. His concerns seem to run in the order of doing the right thing for its own sake, winning glory in battle, and simply enjoying a good fight. In all of these, he is thoroughly boisterous and seemingly incapable of maintaining an indoor voice for more than five minutes at a time--yet, surprisingly, he gets on remarkably well with children despite this and his sheer size. He also seems to have some fun with provoking people he likes.
Powers/Skills: He's big, knows Hasselhoff, and has a lifetime's experience of swinging around an oversized hammer and getting in the way of harm. Reinhardt is also a surprisingly good storyteller.
Brief Bio: In his youth, Reinhardt joined the German army and eventually became one of the Crusaders--a modern-day knightly order using the same armour and weapons that he continues to use. It was with the Crusaders that Reinhardt first became involved in the Omnic Crisis (beyond the omnipresent "they're trying to kill us" everybody had to deal with). Later in the crisis, he was one of the six individuals that formed the strike team that would end the crisis--the beginning of Overwatch. Reinhardt would stay with the organisation for almost its entire existence, becoming a Lieutenant and leading the strike team dispatched to King's Row to put a stop to the uprising there. Then, of course, he was made to retire, to stand by on the sidelines and watch as Overwatch fell further and further into corruption and got disbanded in disgrace--having lost three of its founding members (or four) and his friends in the process. Reinhardt promptly brought himself out of retirement and set out as a modern day knight errant, travelling Europe and coming to blows with a gang called the Dragons. Though proving quite capable of beating up someone not fighting back, they found out that a mountain of a man in power armour is substantially more dangerous, and were driven from the town for good. And then he went and told Torbjorn's children stories at Christmas.
Equipment: Reinhardt has his armour and his hammer, which, though both old and battered, are still serviceable and somewhat terrifying to be confronted with--the hammer alone is as big as some people. And both, of course, have rockets on them: the armour to charge across a battlefield (and crush any unfortunate foes), whilst the hammer seems to have one simply to hit things even harder--including slamming into the ground hard enough to cause people to fall. The armour also has the ability to project a large barrier from its left wrist, capable of absorbing massively fatal amounts of damage before breaking... at which point it will just recharge again in no time at all. It has the added benefit of being translucent and something that can be attacked through from behind, allowing his allies to retaliate.
Others: The guy's 61.
Name: Shirai Kuroko
Universe: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun/Toaru Majutsu no Index
Personality: There are two sides to Shirai Kuroko--which fits the black-and-white theme of her name. On the one hand you have a somewhat blunt young woman, who despite the amazing abilities and science she's exposed to on a daily basis is quite sceptical of anything that could exist beyond the realm of Academy City's futuristic science. She's a bit too formal, but generally quite a relaxed person--with a sense of justice strong enough that the concept of backing down seems to elude her. And, unlike her roommate, she actually joined Judgement so she could help legally, which she takes extremely seriously. Then there's the other side, which can be best summed up as an alarming degree of attraction towards Mikoto and a tendency towards impulsive action. Whilst her attention in that regard certainly seems to not be desired--especially when she gets too touchy--it's nonetheless a very genuine attraction, and she's willing to do whatever she can to make sure that the Railgun is actually happy... no matter how much danger this might put her in.
Powers/Skills: Kuroko is a Level 4 esper with the most wonderfully descriptive ability name in the series: Teleport. It does exactly what it sounds like and allows her to teleport things: specifically, herself or anything that she's in contact with. This has its own limitations--around 130kg weight and a range of just over 80 metres. Because the basis of her ability is doing maths in eleven dimensions, if she can't concentrate, then she's not going to be teleporting anything--but she's surprisingly resilient to pain for someone of her age. Quite oddly for a high level esper, Kuroko isn't completely reliant on her ability in a fight--teleporting is useful for pinning people down by their clothing or getting around them, certainly, but a brawl isn't always the place for doing maths. Instead, she actually seems to know martial arts, presumably something close to aikido--not only is she young, she's small and not particularly bulky, and her fighting style is all about using people's strength against them. Except, of course, with the common inclusion of surprise dropkicks.
Brief Bio: After joining Judgement the year before enrolling in Tokiwadai and getting a much needed growth spurt, Kuroko was involved in preventing a bank robbery, which was pretty much the most exciting thing to happen until after she met Misaka Mikoto... and somehow managed to end up as the older girl's roommate. Since then, she's been involved in several rather more serious incidents--though she doesn't know about the worst of them aside from said roommate coming home late a lot--and gotten rather hurt once.
Equipment: Aside from her phone, Kuroko has the two belts of needles strapped to her thighs, useful for pinning people down by their clothing or disabling complex mechanisms. It's a shame that she doesn't have the much larger belts handy.
Personality: When she was younger, Ana was a very serious and strait-laced person, despite her commitment towards protecting those she cares for and making a better world for her daughter. Her caring side, however, was enough to get a reputation as a mother bear to all those under her command--an attitude that would lead to her apparent death. At the same time, this attitude also caused her kills to weigh heavily on her conscience, a major contributing factor to allowing the entire world to believe she was dead. Nowadays, years after the fact, she seems to have reconciled herself with what she's done--and become a lot more warm in general. She's also become rather... sarcastic, even in the face of danger or battle.
Powers/Skills: As a perfectly normal human, Ana has nothing in the way of supernatural abilities. Instead, she retains a level of physical ability quite unusual for a sixty year old--and the skills honed over a lifetime of military service. She's still a surprisingly capable hand to hand fighter but what she's known for is her ability as a sniper. Ana was the best in the world in her prime, even into her fifties, and despite the loss of her cybernetic eye she has shown no signs of getting any worse at her job. She's a capable commander--both on and off the battlefield--due to her long stint as Overwatch's second in command, though whether the ability to help lead a military organisation on that scale translates well to more supernatural events is somewhat questionable. And, finally, Ana seems to have some training as a combat medic--at least enough to work out when someone is in need of immediate medical attention.
Brief Bio: Coming from a long line of soldiers, it was inevitable that Ana would find herself joining the army--and her timing found her fighting in the midst of the Omnic crisis, with Egypt's forces increasingly relying on snipers to deal with the endless tide of robots. When Overwatch was formed, it was a natural choice to include her as their sniper, and after the crisis she rose to the position of Jack Morrison's second in command, raising her daughter around the other heroes in the organisation--yet wanting her to stay away from the military (for all the good that did). It was in her 50's, after the King's Row uprising and Amélie Lacroix's abduction, retrieval, and subsequent murder of her husband, that Ana chose to stay behind during an operation, seeking to eliminate the sniper that had brought down members of her team. Instead, when she had the opportunity to take the final shot, Ana hesitated on seeing who it was--and got her own eye shot out for the trouble. Wounded but not dead, Ana faked her death, yet soon enough wanted to work at bringing down Talon once more. Instead of revealing herself to the world at large, Ana began to operate under the name of Shrike as a bounty hunter, sabotaging Talon operations in the Middle East, getting in trouble with the government, and somehow ending up on a watchlist in Russia at one time. Eventually, this culminated in both Reaper and Soldier 76 showing up at the same time with some interest in her--and now it's quite clear that all three of them know the others are alive. She decided to stick with Jack, as he needed her help.
Equipment: Ana's rifle is a particularly odd specimen--rather than firing traditional bullets, it instead fires an injection of nanomachines. For allies, this means biotics that stitch up and heal injuries... yet for enemies it's quite the opposite, destructively tearing apart. Of course, the gun can't differentiate friend from foe--in a busy fight, it's quite possible that she would hit the wrong person if she tried to shoot. The rifle isn't the only thing that Ana carries--she has a supply of grenades that have the same, but more immediate, effects, and a pistol fitted with sleep darts to deal with people in a more nonlethal manner. She even has a wrist-mounted launcher for the last set of nanomachines on her person, which induce an artificial and extremely strong adrenaline rush for a brief period of time--allowing allies to exceed their normal physical limitations and ignore injuries.
Personality Hates basically everything and everyone sans Professor X and Jean Grey. Though he does have a tough exterior, he is a hero through and through. He absolutely will not stand by and let innocents or the defenseless be hurt or picked on by anyone. Deep in his heart, he has a love for other human beings and has, on several occasions, shown compassion for those who are in dire straights. Just don't make him angry--ever.
Powers/Skills
Pure Adamantium Skeleton: His entire skeleton is infused with adamantium metal, the strongest metal in his respective universe. Once it hardens, it is, for all intents and purposes, unbreakable. (weaker types of adamantium such as proto-adamantium and secondary adamantium do not retain this unbreakable property.) Adamantium can cut through virtually any physical substance.
Regenerative Healing Factor: A phenomenal healing factor is Wolverine's essential quality, without it none of his other abilities would be possible as he would be dead from metal poisoning and deoxynization of red blood cells. His healing factor allows him to heal from virtually any injury (save decapitation, but his Adamantium skeleton makes this feat nigh-impossible.) He has survived being blown to ashes, being ripped in half by adversary Hulk in the Ultimate universe, being shot in the head/heart, etc.
Superhuman Senses: His lupine physiology grants him the enhanced sensory perception of his wolf cousintry. He can see up to several miles, pick up on scents from several miles away, hear people's heartbeats with his ears, amongst other things.
Superhuman Strength: He is a low level superhuman, able to generate enough force to aid in cutting through the toughest of materials.
Enhanced Speed: He can move faster than a normal human, his maximum speed feet (as far as I know) is 75mph.
Superhuman Durability: An ode to his Adamantium skeleton (and actually, without it, his mutation and his lupine physiology would grant him the same thing); he has stood up to blows from The Thing, Hulk, Spiderman, Luke Cage, and several other bricks of his respective universe.
Retractable Claws: He has the ability to unsheathe his Adamantium covered claws at will, without his healing factor, he would bleed out from the bone (or in this case the metal) piercing the skin. Of course, this is not the case. He can choose how many claws he ejects at a time.
Enhanced Leap: He can leap great distances, though not up skyscrapers ala Hulk or Golden Age Superman.
Berserker: When he goes all out and restrains nothing, his most viscous (and strategically weakest) ability. He becomes a rage fueled killing machine.
Superhuman Stamina: He can fight for several days without tiring, an ode to his general superhuman/lupine physiology as well as his x-gene.
Brief Bio A lot. Listing it would take me years. He is perhaps the most prominent member of the X-Men next to Xavier himself. He has dated Jean Grey, fought demons in Hell, killed lots of things, stopped galactic threats. There's really nothing Wolverine hasn't done.
Equipment A tank-top, blue jeans, and steel-toe boots. Currently without his X-Men uniform.
Appearance:"Do you ever feel jealous of the birds?" While Kino is most certainly female, many people are liable to mistake her for a boy due to her slender build and manner of dress. She is also very short.
Personality: Kino is a girl who exhibits a strong desire to travel. The driving force behind her actions is to visit new places, to see new things. To put it simply, Kino is a traveller, through and through. She also does well to not judge the customs and actions of others, remaining neutral towards them as best she can. However, in certain cases something will drive her to action. When she is capable of changing a situation and has become angry enough to do so, even her calm, collected appearance does not hide the fact that she has made the decision to do whatever she can. At most times, Kino is rather pleasant and friendly towards others, provided they do not attempt to hinder her in any way. Kino very quickly flips a switch from collected compliance to absolute lethality without the slightest hesitation. If something threatens her life, her reaction is very quick and without the slightest pause. Regardless of her personal feelings, Kino does not hesitate to kill in self-defense. At the same time, the needless destruction of life is something she refuses to engage in. She will only kill if necessary or if she has been sufficiently angered to believe it is the only way to change the situation. Kino is also quite the cheapskate. If she gets low prices or something for free she is quite visibly pleased by it.
Powers/Skills: Kino is physically speaking an ordinary human. She is not particularly strong in keeping with her appearance, but rather she is heavily trained in various ways in which to kill an attacker. Kino can move very fast, avoiding gunshots and other attacks easily. She is trained in the use of a variety of combat knives, as well as in marksmanship. Kino can hit a a target from hundreds of feet away with a handgun. Due to extensive practice, she is also incredibly quick on the draw. Kino is also adept at surviving in the wilderness, knowing how to set up shelter and hunt for food if the need be.
Brief Bio: Kino was raised in one country, but she left. She was found by someone who trained her, and she began her journey, to various countries with all kinds of different customs and beliefs.
Equipment: Kino carries a variety of knives(including one that can fire bullets from around the blade) on her person at all times, as well as .44 single Action Revolver holstered on her hip(using liquid explosives in place of gunpowder), and a .22 automatic pistol holstered on her lower back. All of these weapons are usually hidden beneath her jacket. Kino has a variety of camping supplies and food stored in various containers strapped to her motorrad, Hermes. Though calling Hermes equipment is rather unfitting, as he is a sapient talking motorcycle.
"Despite the sorcery, three hundred thousand years had taken their toll. The skin that stretched across the squat man’s robust bones was a shiny nut brown in colour, the texture of leather. Whatever flesh it had once covered had contracted to thin strips the consistency of oak roots – such muscles showed through torn patches here and there. The creature’s face, what Toc could see of it, bore a heavy chinless jawbone, high cheeks and a pronounced brow ridge. The eye sockets were dark holes."
Personality: Even at his great age, Tool continues to change through his, abnormal for his race, contact with humans. He changes more now in the service of the Malazan empire than ever before. Where there was once a merciless killing machine there is now a being full of compassion and caring. One that abhors senseless voilence but is capable of fearsome anger. He is a great believer in justice, willing to fight to the end for any cause that he sees as being just. "If by our sacrifice - yours and mine,' said Onos T'oolan, 'the pain of one life can be ended; if, by our deaths, this one can be guided home... we will judge this a worthy cause."
Powers/Skills:
Ritual of Tellann: A ritual that bound an entire race to a moment in time, irreversible binding their souls to their bodies in a form of immortality. The T'lan Imass cannot die but are by no means indestructible. Even with their bodies pounded into pieces they continue to exist.
Tool can return to the dust that he would have become if not for the ritual, traveling great distances before reforming in his physical form. He can travel across water this way buy can only find his shape on dry land.
Sword Skill: Tool was known the First Sword of the T'lan Imass, the most skilled individual out of their entire race. He weilds his stone blade as if it were weightless, with inhuman speed and precision.
Brief Bio: The story of Tool is the story of his entire race, the T'lan Imass. The Imass race was once a mortal people, one of the founding races long ago. They entered into a war with the Jaghut, powerful, nearly immortal giants that claimed power over the land, ice and cold. This was a war that they were losing. In response the entire Imass race bound themselves through the use of a ritual to an eternity of immortality.
Giving up their mortality allowed the Imass race to fight the Jaghut on equal footing, throwing themselves into a war of extermination that lasted three hundred thousand years. Eventually the T'Lan Imass, including Onos T'oolan, encountered the young Malazan Empire and entered into service under its emperor.
Tool is the last of his clan and so possesses a freedom of action that is singular among all of the Imass. He freely chooses his own path and develops closer friendships with mortals than any other individual of his race.
Equipment: Flint Sword: An ancient, unbreakable flint sword.
Other: Though the T'lan Imass are immortal, they are far from invulnerable. Members of their race are tougher than a mortal but can be broken and dismembered until they are ineffective.
Personality: Though she appears to be a cold person, Shurelia actually prefers to hide her emotions as a result of traumatic events in her past. This makes her serious and no-nonsense in her capacity as an administrator, though she longs for freedom and to have a normal life. Is a compulsive liar about her age and will never admit it even when confronted with the truth.
Powers/Skills: Coding - Shurelia has the ability to code in the various languages that the tower uses.
Grathmelding - A special science that she created which imbues items with supernatural powers (aka Magic). Even though she invented it, she hasn't had much experience actually using it herself.
Hymmnos - As a Reyvatiel, Shurelia is able to use her connection to the Tower to perform powerful magics in the form of spells. These can be used for offensive, defensive, and a whole host of other utilitarian purposes. She has a limited repertoire of songs, but it is theoretically possible to make more with assistance. Given her current location, she is unsure if this will even work.
Song magic works on a charge system. The longer you have to charge it up, the more powerful it gets. But there is a power cap to how far you can charge it up.
Exec_Suspend - Puts the entire Tower in standby mode, which is coincidentally how she wound up here.
Primal Word - Throws a ball of magic at the enemy
Ar Tonelico - The Tower itself fires a big honking laser beam at the enemy
Life Fill - Revives and heals the target if incapacitated.
Energy Fill - Provides elemental defense and increases elemental damage of those the spell is used on.
Blast Fill - Boosts attack power, defense, and agility
Full Cushion - Creates a defensive barrier to weaken enemy attacks
Medi Fill - Cures abnormal status afflictions
Sonic Shot - Fires a short burst of sound
Fire Shot - Follows the label
Ice Shot - Follows the label
Thunder shot - Again, follows the label
Gale shot - Fires a burst of wind
Brief Bio: Shurelia was the first Reyvatiel ever created, with her name coming from her adoptive father after his daughter died in a war. Early in her life she was installed with Parameno and Grathnode Crystals to connect her to the Tower so she could serve as Administrator, a very painful process. This was completed to some extent, however it could not be fully finished because a few years later the Grathnode Inferia Catastrophe took place, killing her father and leaving her in significant pain until it ended With him gone there was no one left who could finish the connections.
After the end pf the Catastrophe, Shurelia convinced the world to help her build the Silver Horn, a new Sound Science System, that she demanded never be used for warfare. She was made Controller and given command over the Reyvatiels who had built it. However soon after strange creatures began to attack people, and she showed the people how to make β-type Reyvateils to defeat the monsters. This succeeded, too well. The monsters were defeated, but to her horror people began to mass produce β-type Reyvateils for use in warfare, culminating in the creation of Mir, the most powerful Reyvatiel ever. Shurelia was removed as controller of the Silver Horn so Mir could be put in her place, which worked fine until Mir rebelled and tried to wipe out her creators.
The people turned to Shurelia for help and she agreed to do so, only for it to end up being a trap to do to her the same thing that had been done to Mir before she rebelled. Shurelia was rescued from this by Mir but at a tragic cost of life, and in turn she declared war on Mir. Together with the Teru Tribe, they were able to build the Crescent Chronicle, and with the help of the second most powerful β-type Reyvateil in the world, Lune, they were able to seal Mir away.
In the wake of it all, Shurelia banned the use of Sound Science, though she did invent a new system called Grathmelding to make up for it.
Eventually though Mir woke up, and resumed her plan to create a world for only Reyvatiels. Shurelia sent one of her most trusted knights, Lyner Barsett, to get the Purger Crystal so they could defeat the viruses that were trying to break through to Platina to free Mir. Lyner succeeded in this, and Mir was temporarily stopped. the next threat would come as Platina was taken over by Kyle Clancy, who almost released Mir. This tired Shurelia, and while she was weakened she was betrayed and taken over by Mir and one of her followers. Fortunately Lyner was able to separate the connection between them using an FFT Divider. However Mir's revival continued, and as a last resort Shurelia suspended operation of the tower, stopping Mir but also functionally killing herself too.
At least that was what she thought. Up until she awoke in a strange city she had never seen before....
Equipment: Linkage Armor - Serves as protection and allows Shurelia to communicate with the Tower, though obviously the Tower isn't here so that function is basically useless.
Others: Has absolutely no sense of direction. Fond of bunnies. Has an interesting ability to cook.

Equipment A tank-top, blue jeans, and steel-toe boots. Currently without his X-Men uniform.
Personality: Kyouko is a rough, abrasive girl with a rather selfish attitude. She has no qualms about stealing food or other items, and feels that it's simple fact that she has to do whatever she can to get by. She's something of a tomboy, and her taste in fashion makes her come off looking rather like a delinquent(which is not an entirely inaccurate assumption given how she acts). She is also somewhat obsessed with food, carrying snacks on her person at nearly all times and frequently seen eating. And eating. And eating. Kyouko eats a lot. In spite of her selfish, abrasive attitude, Kyouko has a softer side that sometimes comes out. A girl who sometimes remembers she wanted to help people, a girl who likes stories that, no matter how bad things get, have a happy ending. As a result, even if she initially tends to treat them like idiots, Kyouko has a soft spot for people who want to help others, deep inside her. Due to certain events in her home universe, her softer side is now more likely to come out. However, this doesn't change the fact that she's often abrasive and rough towards others, and still quite selfish.
Powers/Skills: Kyouko's body is stronger and more durable as a result of being a Puella Magi. On top of this, she can transform into her magical girl form, sporting a red outfit and a spear that can unlink itself to become almost-whip like, the segments connected by chains. The spear is highly extendable as well, and incredibly sharp. Kyouko is far more difficult to kill then a normal human, but if her Soul Gem is destroyed she will instantly die. Kyouko also possesses illusions and an enchanting ability that in action is basically being able to sweet-talk others into doing things for her, but she is as of now unwilling or incapable of using it. She sports an aggressive fighting style fueled by her equally aggressive personality.
Brief Bio: A girl who suffered tragedy after becoming a magical girl, which formed her current worldview. Due to a chain of events, one that massively effected the world, she now has more company and likely a brighter future, even in her eventual death.
Equipment: Kyouko carries her Soul Gem, which she uses to transform in a magical girl. In this form she carries a spear that can detach itself and become something like a chain whip, which she can wrap enemies in. The tip is extremely sharp. At any given time, she has a mass amount of snack food on her person.
"Let's dance! You won't last a second against me, babe!"
Name: Scaramouche The Merciless ("Aku's Favorite Assassin")
Universe: Samurai Jack Universe
Appearance: Scaramouche is an android who wears a black straw hat, yellow scarf, red high-heel boots, a long purple coat with red interior, and a large black belt. He also has teal eyes, a fully-functional mouth with teeth, and a dark-red tongue. He is about 6'2" in height.
Personality: Scaramouche is often described as a sly and homicidal psychopath who can do unspeakable actions just to draw attention to him (Like massacring an entire town of innocent people in order to draw Samurai Jack's attention). He is also very boastful, arrogant and talkative, who happens to have the tendency to call anyone he meets as babe or baby, even to his boss, Aku. However, he isn't quite as bad as many make him out to be, at least currently. With his death and resurrection in the new realm, he has become slightly more humble, but nevertheless keeps most of his attributes. He is also very determined to get things done and isn't afraid to cut in deals to help both him and the other person. Of course, that doesn't mean he may break the deal, provided the circumstances.
Powers/Skills:
Musical Telekinesis: Using a "magic" flute, Scaramouche can levitate objects and create golems to fight opponents. When the flute is destroyed, he can continue to levitate objects by scatting, indicating this power comes from his voice and the flute merely amplifies his ability, since he only needs to control his sword through his voice. His power depends on his vocal chords, and he becomes helpless when his neck gets damaged, nullifying the ability.
Swordsmanship: Scaramouche is a master sword fighter, easily holding his own against even the experienced Samurai Jack, and carries multiple blades on his person, including a heavy scimitar and a special "tuning sword" that destroys objects on contact.
Enhanced Speed and Agility: Scaramouche is remarkably agile. He is also able to leap tall structures in a single bound.
Durability: Despite being once cleaved and beheaded by Jack, Scaramouche survived his encounter and is able to continue functioning despite no longer having a body, a feat that most other robots in his realm can't do.
Body-Takeover: As a head, Scaramouche has the ability to take over the body of any organism as long as his head is placed on the neck area of the body.
Water-proof: it is shown that his electronic circuits are water-proof since he cannot be electrocuted or getting short-circuited while floating in the water surface, despite his entire neck are exposed with electronic circuit. His head can also float while in water.
Brief Bio: During Aku's reign, Scaramouche the Merciless worked for the Master Of Darkness as one of his assassins, apparently being his #1 most favorite. After Aku ordered him to kill the Samurai, the android massacred an entire village to draw his attention. When he discovered that the Samurai lost his magic sword/katana, which is one of the only weapons capable of harming Aku, he mocked the samurai as he proceeds to contact his boss. But before he could tell him the news, Jack forced him into a heated battle across the ruined village. Despite the android having initially gotten the upper hand, he was unfortunately defeated as the Samurai cleaved him in half, resulting in an explosion.
Yet despite this, Scaramouche survived the attack, only having been incapacitated. Regardless, he was able to talk and move, prompting him to find his way to Aku's place in order to tell him that Samurai Jack had lost his sword. However, due to some very unexpected and unfortunate events, it took the android several days before finally reaching to Aku and tells him the news. As a reward, his body had been restored and the two confront Samurai Jack and his newfound partner Ashi. However, both were unaware that the Samurai had recovered his sword, so when he 'whipped it out', Scaramouche tries to explain he didn't have it when he last saw him before Aku furiously blasted his head, this time destroying him for good... or so the Master Of Darkness thought.
Somehow, Scaramouche was able to wake up, only that he wasn't in his own realm anymore, yet his head was still attached to his body. Now he explores this new place and tries to find a way back to his own.
Equipment:
Magical Flute: Scaramouche can use a magical flute to levitate objects and create golems to fight opponents.
Tuning Blade: Scaramouche has a special blade that has the ability to vibrate at a frequency powerful enough to shatter most metallic blades and other solid objects.
Various Blades: Scaramouche also has other various blades on him, including a heavy scimitar and other daggers.
Phone: Scaramouche has a pink phone that can be used to call anyone from his contacts, including his boss Aku. However, since arriving in the new realm, all of his contacts have been erased.
Personality: Most people who do not personally know the Third-Ranked Level Five would naturally assume her to be someone high-class and refined. After all, she goes to Tokiwadai and has such a high level of power, right? This is perhaps why many people do not recognize her, as the real Misaka Mikoto is a friendly and relaxed person who doesn't have a problem talking to most people. She's also rather short-tempered, however, and possesses a sharp competitive streak that often results in excitement when she sees she's up against a challenge or a strong foe. She's also rather proud of herself, and at the same time quite childish. In spite of her tomboyish attitude, she loves childish, cute things, especially the children's mascot character Gekota. The frog draws her attention at all times. She is rather possessive of her Gekota merchandise. At the same time, Mikoto is tries to hide her love of such things, finding it rather embarrassing when people notice. The Electric Princess of Tokiwadai has a heroic bent to her personality. When there's trouble, she tries to help out as best she can. However, she also seems to have trouble asking for help when she has problems. Thankfully for Mikoto and all her friends, recent events have lead to her remembering how willing to help they all are.
Powers/Skills: As the strongest Electromaster and Third-ranked Level Five Esper of Academy City, Mikoto naturally exerts a great deal of power and fine control in relation to her abilities.
Offensively, the fact that she is referred to as "Railgun" is rather indicative of her capabilites. But before that, she has other options. She can fire electricity at her opponents, channel it through objects or her body, and general use electricity in a variety of different ways. Should this be ineffective, she can electromagnetically manipulate metal objects and use them as bludgeons or projectiles. If there is a high concentration of iron in the sand nearby, like there is in many areas of Academy City, she can draw it out and manipulate it to form a chainsaw-like offensive weapon. Of course, there is also Mikoto's Railgun. Replicating the effects of the actual weapon with her electromagnetic capabilities, Mikoto launches projectiles at Mach 3(at least). The usual ammunition is an arcade coin that disintergrates, giving the railgun limited range. However, any metal is theoretically an option, though larger objects are obviously more straining to use. Mikoto holds back against most opponents, for the obvious reason of not wanting to kill anyone.
Defensively she can use metal to shield herself, and no electrical attack is of any use against her. She can also use metal objects to dodge by pulling herself towards them, or even stick to the walls or ceiling and walk on them as long as there is metal close enough to the surface. This allows her a high amount of maneuverability.
As a utility, Mikoto is capable of hacking anything that is electronic. She can infiltrate databases through terminals, or shock commands into machines and robots. She can also remove herself from surveillance in such a manner.
Mikoto's abilities are not without their downsides. She can tire out, and going overboard can cause blackouts in the surrounding area. She is also not physically very strong and has no idea how to fight beyond her Esper power, besides dodging and running. Unless you count vending machine kicks.
Brief Bio: After participation in various incidents, including one that hit extremely close to home and one particularly recent one, Mikoto is still the kind of person who will help solve trouble wherever she can.
Equipment: Mikoto carries a a large number of arcade coins as ammunition, as well as a few other items of no particular note, such as a cell phone.
Personality: A confident and optimistic girl who never lets anything get her down and keeps pressing on until she's achieved her goals. Of course, her goals are simply to have fun with her friends and her Pokemon, although she won't forgive anyone that hurts either of them. Whilst idealistic, she's realized that you can't let idealism blind you to the truth of things, but that in turn you can't let the truth of things dull your idealism. Or something like that; she's a simple girl with simple goals at heart, and doesn't really worry too much about complicated concepts like that.
Powers/Skills: Hilda is a skilled Pokemon Trainer, able to coordinate her team's attacks and bring out their full potential under her leadership. She's probably good with more mundane animals and other kinds of monsters too, really.
Brief Bio: A Pokemon Trainer from Nuvema Town, Unova. After recieving her first Pokemon from Professor Juniper, she and her friends Bianca and Cheren ended up drawn into a plot by the sinister Team Plasma and their "king" N which threatened the entire Unova region. Through various challenges she was eventually able to awaken a legendary dragon Pokemon and defeat N's own dragon, before thwarting the true mastermind behind Team Plasma and saving not only Unova but the very relationship between humans and Pokemon. Soon afterwards, she challenged the Unova Pokemon Champion and defeated him, but even after becoming the champion she hasn't given up training her Pokemon.
Equipment:
Pokemon: As a Pokemon Trainer, Hilda naturally has a team of Pokemon by her side. Unfortunately, since she was taken from her world whilst in the middle of training some new, lower leveled Pokemon, she doesn't have access to either her champion team or her legendary dragon Pokemon. Her team is as follows:
Dewott: A water Pokemon, and the child of Hilda's first Pokemon. His attacks are Razor Shell, Cut, Aerial Ace and Rock Smash.
Lilligant: A grass Pokemon, whose Chlorophyll ability allows her to move faster in bright sunlight. Her attacks are Magical Leaf, Sleep Powder, Synthesis and Grass Knot.
Pawniard: A dark/steel Pokemon, whose Inner Focus ability allows him to unflinchingly carry on even when under great pressure. His attacks are Metal Claw, X-Scissor, Shadow Claw and Headbutt.
Golett: A ground/ghost Pokemon, whose Iron Fist ability powers up its punching prowess. Its attacks are Shadow Punch, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch and Mega Punch.
Inventory: Her Pokedex (not entirely useful outside of the Pokemon world), her Xtransciever (doesn't get any reception in another reality), various varieties of Pokeballs (not entirely useful when there's no Pokemon to catch), a bunch of potions for healing her Pokemon (which don't really work on things other than Pokemon)... Really, her inventory isn't very useful here. At least she has a full set of Unovan HMs in case she needs to change up her team's abilities a bit.
Name: Lucia of Whitehill Universe: An original fantasy setting Appearance: She's about 5'10". Personality: Lucia is generally polite and soft-spoken, especially with those she doesn't know. She has a strong sense of justice and hates seeing innocent people suffer. She is very protective of her allies and willing to throw herself into harm's way to defend them. As a knight, she grew up learning about honour and chivalry. She is always eager to improve her skills, as both a knight and a mage. Powers/Skills: Swordsmanship: Lucia is a skilled swordswoman, having trained since childhood. She can easily hold her own against much larger opponents or groups of enemies. Magic: She is also a capable spellcaster, able to use her sword as a focus to fire off her spells or channel magic through it to enhance her attacks.
Blazing Heat: Creates a fireball which explodes on impact or used to superheat the blade of Lucia's sword, greatly enhancing its armour piercing ability.
Fury of the Storm: Creates a bolt of lightning which chains between enemies or sends electricity coursing through her sword, enhancing its damage.
Frozen Burst: Fires a burst of magic to freeze an area, potentially causing anyone crossing it to lose their footing. Alternatively, causes cold energy to surround her sword, before crystallising into spikes of ice on contact with an enemy, causing massive damage to unarmoured targets.
Blessing of Might: Enhances her strength and agility.
Brief Bio: Lucia was born to a wealthy noble family in the city of Whitehill, with a history of providing knights for the royal guard. She began her studies in swordsmanship and magic at the age of five. On her eighteenth birthday, she left home and embarked on a heroic journey. She wasn't sure what heroic deeds she was meant to be accomplishing, but it was a tradition stretching back generations and she was happy to go. Since then, she has travelled in search of monsters in need of slaying, damsels in need of a knight in shining armour and other such glorious pursuits. Equipment: Her sword, which is enchanted to be nigh-indestructible, due to some issues channelling fire and ice magic caused with mundane weapons, and her armour, which is just mundane steel. Others: Not that I can think of.
A nice and friendly young girl that one would consider completely average apart from certain unique aspects... That's not entirely a bad thing considering the personalities of two of her immediate best friends. She's the fulcrum between sharp-tongued sarcasm and barely contained excitable brashness. Though this does mean she can sway one way or the other depending on the atmosphere of interaction.
Powers/Skills:
Teleportation is the primary way she expresses her esp, although she also has the pre-requisite and complementary abilities that come with teleportation. Her specific core ability is the manipulation of space and dimensions of which the most often seen example of it's use is teleportation. Parameters are not completely defined but what is certain is that the volume of space she's relocating (which includes things in it for obvious reasons) is inversely proportional to the displacement distance... So she can transport large things short distances or small things for much more significant distances. An incomplete list of things that can be one with it and also things that disrupt it.
She can teleport things into other objects. An example would be to teleport an explosive device deep into the ground to reduce it's blast...
She can selectively teleport parts of things somewhere else. Example would be teleporting a part of a lightpost away to make a clean cut...
Additionally she can change the orientation and positioning of things she teleports...
One of the things that can disrupt her ability to teleport is interference, If there's a significant amount of substantially large particles or objects in the vicinity it becomes difficult for her to displace all objects in the area of where she will teleport something to, For instance if there's a lot of insects around, it becomes a possibility that if she teleports to any area, she can miss an insect to displace as she teleports into that space, thus ending with the insect inside her, which is very likely unpleasant...
Being distracted, be it emotional, physical or psychical can also limit her ability to properly make use of her ESP. In instances requiring great concentration, something as little as talking to her can be enough of a distraction. Of great concern is being incapacitated during usage of her ability. An example would be getting electrocuted while performing her ability, now while this will disrupt her from completing her task, there is a great chance that she might lose control of it.
And as per usual, any ESP limiting devices or signals can significantly interfere with her abilities...
Spatial awareness and recognition is one of those complementary abilities that she has. While teleportation is the most commonly seen example of her set of abilities, her spatial awareness is one that's most commonly used, because even she is not consciously aware that she's doing it. She can sense in one way or another through her own psychic senses the ebb and flow of space (since space and time is connected, we could assume time as well) and any disturbances within it. This means she can sense the movement and shape of objects in her vicinity as well as whatever other happenings in the space around her. This includes the effect of other abilities. She displays the ability to know the location from which another teleporter teleported something from and the ability to predict where they teleported it to.
As a side-effect of being able to manipulate space and dimensions, While there are many ways her ability can be disrupted, she also has the ability to disrupt others. Most prevalent would be other teleporters though any other ability that requires space and dimensions can be messed with to a limited extent.
Aside from that, her abilities are what one would expect of a young lady like she is... Above avarge physical fitness and a passable level of competence in unarmed and armed combat without her abilities. Non combat abilities run the gamut from being good at games (hey this can come in handy) to the skills that make a good housewife... She's clever and intelligent as well to boot.
Brief Bio:
A level seven teleporter esper from Kyoto. She ends up working with a group called B.A.B.E.L. with her friends Akashi Kaoru, Sannomiya Shiho and their handler Minamoto Kōichi.
Equipment:
Nothing of too much note apart from her phone, which thinking about it, would probably not work too well with a telecommunications system from a different universe.
Personality: Rex is an overconfident, impulsive, rebellious and headstrong teenager, though, he can also be selfless and empathetic towards others. He is also rather intelligent and quick-witted, and tends to crack jokes. He is pretty expressive, especially concerning his need to blow off steam when the pressure gets too much to handle.
Powers/Skills: Unlike other EVOs, Rex has control over his nanites. He has the ability to grow various types of machines from his body which he uses for offense, defence and transportation. He can create two of these builds at one time. He can use his nanites to interface with technology and can communicate with and control it, making him a technopath. His nanites also give him enhanced healing abilities. Rex can cure EVOs by extracting their active nanites (this last one probably wouldn't matter in this RP, but oh well).
Big Fat Sword: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The big fat sword (also known as the B.F.S.) is a massive orange sword that Rex can transform either arm into. It is one of Rex's most lethal machines. Although it is used offensively to easily cleave through objects, it is can be used to deflect attacks. Once stabbed into the pavement, the big fat sword can provide mobility for Rex and others who hold on to it.
Battle Saw: vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… Using a lever on the side of his big fat sword, the top half of the sword will split apart and begin to rotate at a high velocity. This transforms the B.F.S. into the battle saw—a giant orange circular saw that can slice through tough objects.
Smack Hands: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The smack hands are massive orange gauntlets that Rex can transform his arms into. The smack hands give him incredible strength, allowing him to break through obstacles or lift heavy objects. When forming them, he has control over the overall size, length, and flexibility; being able to extend them to reach certain distances. Rex can use his smack hands to significantly push himself into the air and absorb impact when landing. They are also moderately capable of shielding against lasers and debris, however, they are weak against acid. Out of all machines, the smack hands seem to be the only ones that are nerve-sensitive.
Punk Busters: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The punk busters are a pair of massive orange super boots with retractable spikes on the soles. They allow Rex to jump hundreds of feet into the air or jump across ten square blocks. He can also use the punk busters to repel powerful EVO enemies or kick through thick metal. In his own words, it feels as if "you were roundhouse kicked by a freight train". Like a hydraulic cylinder, the punk busters can have its foot extended to kick enemies away. A stomp is strong enough to dismantle its surroundings or cause rising fissures accurate enough to repel its target.
Boogie Pack: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The boogie pack is a jet pack with a pair of wide orange turbine wings. Rex is capable of using it to fly at high speeds; it also gives him a high level of agility. He can launch the twin turbines at an enemy EVO like a bola. He can also shoot two large grappling hooks on the top of both turbines. The boogie pack can also successfully propel Rex underwater. Rex has also use the turbine wings to create compressed air. Unfortunately, there is a limit as to how much weight his boogie pack can transport at once.
Slam Cannon: vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The slam cannon is a large orange projectile cannon that Rex can transform either arm into. Similar to a rocket launcher, it is positioned to rest on his shoulder. However, it does not produce its own ammo; instead, a maw on the back end of the slam cannon can extend into the ground and reload solid material for ammunition. It then proceeds to fire the balled material at its target with great force.
Rex Ride: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The Rex ride is an orange hover motorbike that Rex can form out of his lower legs. The vehicle can drive over any terrain and can go over 200 mph. Despite lacking wheels, the Rex ride is capable of driving up vertical loops and curves. It has a retractable battering ram instead of an engine block and it can be used like a shield to break through trees and various other objects. A helmet build also comes with the Rex ride for protection.
Blast Caster: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The blast caster is a machine that consists of a navy-colored, backpack dynamo and a long, black tentacle-like whip that extends from his right arm. Rex appears to have control over the appendage like a muscle; wrapping around enemies or managing to grab small objects. When freely flying through the air, Rex can make the whip cut and turn corners at will. Unclear whether this is only possible underwater, Rex has demonstrated taking hold of objects from afar and reeling himself in. It can also channel electrical shocks powerful enough to stun an enemy. The whip can thin out and break if put under enough stress.
Funchucks: vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… These are a pair of giant, metallic 'nunchaku' that are attached to both of Rex's arms. He can spin them at windmilling speeds and then launch either arm at his target. Defensively, they can divert heat seeking rockets if spun fast enough. He can also use them to generate a destructive energy pulse by slamming them together after spinning them, allowing him to shoot a light blue arc of energy at his enemies.
Bad Axes: vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… These are a pair of large blue axes with energized blades that Rex builds with his hands. The axes are so powerful that they are capable of easily slicing Providence fighter jets with one slice.
Block Party: vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The block party is a pair of navy-colored metallic gauntlets that generate blue energy shields made of highly energized atoms. The block party can either generate two individual, circular shaped shields on each gauntlet, or it can form a dome to surround Rex on the ground or in mid-air. The energy shields are capable of withstanding an extensive amount of damage before shattering like glass. The shields can block, not only energy-type attacks, but ward off solid projectiles and physical attacks as well. If positioned well enough, the shields are capable of deflecting attacks back at the enemy.
Sky Slyder: vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/generato… The Sky Slyder is a blue glowing machine that Rex builds with his lower legs. It is similar to a regular surfing board, except it can fly at high speeds in midair.
Brief Bio: Rex was born into a family of brilliant scientists who were involved in the Nanite Project. Nanites are microscopic machines that were originally created to eliminated diseases and starvation across the world. However, the project was later sabotaged by Rex’s older brother to keep some extremely powerful nanites from falling into the wrong hands. The explosion killed their parents, and caused nanites to spread across the planet and bind to the molecular structure of every living thing in the world. This was known as the Nanite Event. Nanites are normally harmless. However, when activated, they mutate the biology of their hosts, giving them grotesque physical features and/or special abilities. These mutated organisms are called EVOs (Exponentially Variegated Organisms).
Prior to the Nanite Event, ten-year-old Rex was critically injured in an industrial accident. He was injected with fully programed nanites that successfully saved his life, but also gave him new, extraordinary abilities. Rex became amnesiac after the Nanite Event, his memory loss assumed to have been caused by the explosion. He was later found and taken in by Providence, the organisation responsible for dealing with hostile EVOs. Rex lived and grew with the organisation after that, at the same time working for them as their secret weapon to fight and cure EVOs.
Equipment: The various types of machines that he can grow from his body, plus a pair of enhanced goggles that provide thermal, microscopic and nano vision.
Others: Rex has at least a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish and Chinese. He tends to interlard his speech with Spanish wording, but often humorously mispronounces the words. Rex has underwear with motorcycle patterns, enjoys Spanish soap operas, and likes playing with toys during baths.
Personality: As second-in-command of the Third Street Saints, Johny Gat has a talent for mayhem. He's in some ways a good person at heart, trying in his own way to make the world a better place, but his methods are.... questionable. A hard upbringing has given him a casual, comedic attitude towards death. Despite this he's loyal to those that befriend him, and will happily lay his life down for those who manage to earn the title of 'friend'.
Powers/Skills:
[The Badass Factor] Like many of the Third Street Saints, Gat seems to be supernaturally badass. He regularly achieves feats that seemingly defy the laws of physics, can fistfight his way through an army of swat officers and can survive bullets to the face. He flips and kicks around and ignores the limits commonly applied to humans. While he may not be supernaturally strong or fast, his seemingly supernatural knack for achieving the impossible makes him a formidable combatant indeed. But do not confuse this for immortality, as enough opponents or a sufficiently strong enemy can still kill him. But don't expect him to go down easy.
[Hammerspace] As if it were normal Gat can carry an absurd amount of firepower on his person. While he is unable to spontaneously generate guns he can carry a lot of them, and switch between them with ease. He may rapidly switch from a rocket launcher to a machinegun, or an arm-mounted laser canon, or his signature dual Shepherd handguns. His ability to carry such ludicrous amounts of firepower assist him in his various explosive stunts and escapades.
[The Gang] Along with Gat come a group of 'homies'. While he didn't manage to bring along any named members of the Third Street Saints he does still have the assistance of his mob of nameless followers. They can bring him vehicles which seemingly appear out of thin air, show up to assist in fights (albeit in relatively low numbers), and occasionally just walk around the city. While certainly useful they lack Gat's 'awesome factor', and can be defeated with ease in combat by most.
Brief Bio: Growing up on Saints Row, Gat was constantly surrounded by gang wars. Realising that the only way to bring any peace to Stillwater was by wiping out the competing gangs, he joined the Third Street Saints. From there he took the fight to his enemies, wiping out the Rollerz, the Ronin, and later the Syndicate. This version of Johny was never abducted by Zinyak, and continued to fight alongside the Saints as they took on Philipe, Killbane, and later the STAG initiative. He helped the Saints grow into one of the most influential pop culture icons in the world, as well as the undisputed masters of both Steelport and Stillwater. From clones to robots to hackers to zombies, nobody could stand in his way. But even as Boss was saving the world by dismantling a nuclear missile Johny was drawn into this strange world, seperated from the rest of the gang. With only his homies and his guns as company, he's set to make it big here as well.
Equipment: A ridiculous quantity of guns. In addition to your standard arsenal of machine guns, smgs, handguns and sniper rifles he also possesses some advanced tech taken from the STAG initiative. This includes prototype laser weaponry, a device that takes control of vehicles at range, and a set of EMP shock bombs. He also has access to a variety of vehicles, ranging from tanks to planes to jets.
Others: slightly alternate Gat because I didn't want to use Boss.
