Yukari Yozakura | JoJo

Well, that certainly didn’t take much convincing to which JoJo wasn’t going to complain, an easy conversation with a simple answer was always the best kind to have; although she wasn’t exactly thrilled with the reasoning but JoJo wasn’t exactly in the best position to deny. Interlocking her fingers together and popping all of them in unison sent a rapid bolt of electricity shooting from her palm, something that happened often enough, but this time it reminded her of a move someone used but couldn’t quite place it. Shrugging her shoulders Joann walked over to one side of the arena, putting a little bit of distance between herself and Yuka, even though she was a close ranged fighter the distance between two fighters at the start showed respect.

“I won’t be using a gadget, too troublesome for me but that doesn’t mean you can use that bondage thing,” she explained limbering herself out for the first time in weeks various bones and joints popping at random “Also I’m not going easy on you, I kind of need to burn off this power,”

At the end of her exercise, she bowed to her opponent and immediately put up her guard getting into more of a boxers stance.

”Right! Please take me seriously!” Yukari said as she removed all the extra gadgets except the gauntlets. Surely she couldn't go wrong with weighted gloves. Waiting a few seconds Yukari also took on her fighting stance, however, she looked looser than before. Without the weight of the rings on her arms, Yukari needed to emphasis her flexibility. Taking a deep breath Yukari called for the fight to begin. ”Battle on!”

The five-minute timer started and Yukari moved first. She was going to start low and aim for Jojo’s legs. When Yukari was about seven feet away from Jojo, she threw a roundhouse kick. Normally Yukari would've been too far, except her leg quickly stretched out ten feet out. Yukari actually ended up overextending but that was intentional if Jojo tries to step back. And if Yukari’s kick managed to make contact onto Jojo, Yukari would then wrap her leg around Jojo’s leg too.

By now JoJo’s eyes were turning from their usual shade of lavender to a bright yellow and the moment Yuka shouted, “Battle on!” JoJo was already charging forward with her guard up going much faster than a normal person would have been able to. Yuka was the first to actually swing primarily thanks to her quirk that gave her much longer range than JoJo allowing her to open up with a roundhouse kick that looked to be aimed low just the type of thing she was hoping for as it would allow for the burning of more energy.

JoJo’s body started to glow for a moment and within a second it looked like she completely vanished from sight and reappeared right in front of the target, this being Yuka’s jaw. Anyone with good ears could tell she didn’t teleport but began to move incredibly fast giving her the reaction speed to leap over the kick, compose herself and keep moving forward; though anyone else would think she transported herself there.

A burst of electrical energy erupted from her body in an orb causing JoJo to move noticeably slower than before, but her arm was already cocked back and ready to perform what looked like a devastating haymaker super charged with electricity. “Your face is open from the chin down!” Joann shouted taking the swing.

Yukari was surprised that Jojo managed to clear the distance so quickly. From what she heard, there was a surge of electricity and then and very sharp dash. Not quite teleportation, more like flash stepping. Jojo was fast. But speed wouldn't help her here. Hearing the punch incoming Yukari readied herself, raising her hands just in time to get slugged on her arms. Were it not for her gauntlets absorbing the static energy Yukari would've been in a very bad spot.

”My turn!”
When Jojo’s fist contacted her arms, Yukari’s rubber limbs quickly curled around her arms, followed by the rest of her body. Without even taking a step Yukari was crawling up Jojo’s limb like some freakish human snake, and was going for her neck.

JoJo reeled back in surprise this was an attack, she didn’t honestly think was possible, although after thinking about it was completely possible and the fact she didn’t think this through was her own fault. Honestly, she couldn’t do a thing about something like this and it showed with her stumbling around wasting time as Yuka was trying to go for her neck forcing JoJo to make what she would call an executive decision. Storing electrical power in her legs, she bent down and like a spring herself took off skyward blasting herself with Yukari towards the roof of the arena, if the force of the lift off wouldn’t peel her off the return trip wouldn’t feel so nice as she was about to take the rubber girl on a wild ride.

Flipping herself mid-air to where she would land on her feet on the roof gave the girl another chance to shoot her body in another direction, so much movement taking place this second jump was stronger by a large margin. “Don’t throw up on me now,” she said as their bodied shot from one side of the arena to the other from left to right then up and down the force and speed of the propulsion only increasing in power until finally the two of them found themselves upside down once again. “This is going to cause some kind of damage.” JoJo admitted aiming herself straight down and with all the momentum she carried and attempted to body slam herself and Yukari on the mat. If Yukari somehow withstood the g-force of the leaps and escaped only one of them was going to the emergency room after the fight, JoJo herself was a durable girl and would probably still be able to fight with a broken/dislocated arm or fractured something.

”This… Is nothing!”

Having been born and raised in a circus, Yukari was no stranger to being sent airborne, either via catapult or cannon. And while being sent flying from Jojo’s powers was a first, Yukari was still an aerial acrobatic. Yukari tighten her grip onto Jojo and constricted her further, even wrapping her torso around Jojo’s neck. This was for her benefit more than Yukari, because what Yukari was about to do would've snapped Jojo’s neck without cushioning.

The moment before Jojo jumped off the ceiling, Yukari twisted her body backwards, pulling Jojo’s neck and shoulders back. And while Yukari wasn't a heavy girl, 114 pounds wasn't something that could be easily ignored as she pulled her weight to make them both start spinning. Yukari however was able to easily calculate her spin and eventual arrival to the ground, and just five feet before they'd hit the ground Yukari shot her feet out. Her body would absorb the impact of the landing and hopefully prevent Jojo from smearing herself on the ground, though Yukari still had her body tightly around around Jojo’s upper body. In fact she'd feel the force of the landing shake through Yukari’s body and it would cause her to violently shake Jojo. All the while Yukari would keep Jojo suspended off the ground, her body so tightly wrapped around her that if Jojo didn't dislocate a shoulder upon landing, she'd certainly be crushed against the tightly constructed body wrapping around her ribs and putting an immense amount of pressure on her chest.

JoJo hit the ground hard, but thanks to Yukari she didn’t exactly hit the mat running, thankfully JoJo had fallen off entire cliffsides and lived, however, the undeniable fact that she went for a ride herself spinning constantly building up more energy, the more violently she shook and the more she spun around, thanks to the fact Yukari’s body was made of rubber guaranteed that she wouldn’t generate much energy for JoJo to steal, but it was just enough to push her more than over the edge of what she was capable of handling. At least if she fell and hit the ground the resulting shockwave would have expelled all the energy she had built up jumping around like that but thanks to Yuka all that built up kinetic energy was back to being violent potential energy.

Electricity started to fly from her body rapidly curling itself around Yuka and traveling up to get to the steel cage, but being wrapped up in rubber made it so she couldn’t natural disperse it evenly leaving it nowhere to honestly go but to build up more and more. “Unwrap…. too much…. can’t hold it…” JoJo tried to explain the predicament, though it sounded like more of a surrender than anything, it all happened so fast she couldn’t stop it as all the power had built up and smashed through the dam. The first thing anyone heard in the gymnasium was a loud ear-splitting scream as Joann was in serious pain and let it all go at once, the second thing to happen was that her hair stood on end, turned bright yellow and her entire body began to glow. Finally, massive pulses of electricity began to erupt from her body in an orb shape covering the entire arena and spread out further till it dissipated.

Her entire body felt like it was on fire now as what one could only describe as actual lightning surges from JoJo’s body up Yuka’s body throughout the cage and dispersing all around it, frying any technology caught in it and blowing out the lights. At the end of it all JoJo lost consciousness and was left hanging there limply.

”Argh!”

Yukari screamed out as Jojo started to unleash a wild amount of electricity. Too much for Yukari to handle, forcing her to drop Jojo. But by that time it was already too late and Jojo was sending high voltages everywhere, and Yukari had no idea how to stop it. Her knowledge of electricity was thin at best; something about how metal conducts electricity better than rubber, and that’s about it. The arena they were in got fried to a crisp as the artificial buildings started to crumble around them. Yukari could hear the constructs falling, so Yukari stretched her body out and protected Jojo as the area around them collapsed.

One notable thing that Yukari didn’t realize at that moment was how numb her body felt; adrenaline was pumping too fast for her to notice but she couldn’t feel anything, and even her other senses were dulled. If Yukari didn’t already have keen senses she would have never realized what was going on. Either way she felt the chunks of the buildings fall around her, slamming into her body. They bounced off her rubber back, but soon the weight was getting too heavy for her. However Yukari wasn’t going to let Jojo get any more hurt than she already was. Yukari owed it to her.

Just as quickly as it started, the alarm went off and the battle was over. The simulated alleyway was destroyed, Jojo was knocked out, and Yukari was barely conscious. While Yukari may have technically won by being the last one awake, she wasn’t in any condition to do much. The best she could do was try to dig herself and Jojo out from the rubble. Punching her way out from the cement blocks Yukari managed to get Jojo to the surface, where she then proceeded to collapse from exhaustion. She at least made sure Jojo was resting against Yukari’s chest, so that she wasn’t too uncomfortable when she wakes up.

Jett Haven

Jett only raised an eyebrow and smirked at her first comment. He ignored it for the moment as she put the rice onto the cutting board, after spreading it out he would wait a few minutes before handling it. He did place a towel over it, to keep the moisture in.”Well, you could go the american way and nuke everything and be done in five minutes...but it won't taste good. All good things take time, and are always worth it in the end. He smiled as he looked to her, this held true for more than just cooking. ” You got to put in the effort for it, doing so some how makes it all the more sweeter. Also, the towel here is to keep the moisture in while it cools.

Thinking back to her comment, It would have sounded crazy. But being in the shoes of liking someone even though they irritated them, it made perfect sense. While he waited for the rice to be done, he looked back at Mina, as if suddenly coming to the realization of what she said first. Wait, I thought we were speaking in general with this ‘list of yours’. ‘He said with an amused look as he folded his arms again and leaned back against the counter.

He acted confused, as if trying to work this out in his head. ”So…. You want me to be that someone then? I mean, that boring no irritation someone? He smirked as he caught her slip up. By the fact she mentioned that she ‘hypothetically’ wanted to be irritated by him. It meant she was indeed speaking of him when she mentioned her list.

After her response, he would smile and move to the rice, grabbing a free bowl and filling it with water. After placing it between them, he lifted the towel up then saying. Now, we want to take the rice into our hands after getting water on them. he dipped his hand into the bowl of water and wiped it around so his hands were damp. He then proceed to pick up the still very warm rice into his hands and began to cup it with both hands, making a triangle out of it. Then we make little triangles with them by cupping our hands so, and pinching them together, He showed the movements again, Then we use our thumb to make an indentation for the other ingredients we mixed up here. Then we mold it back around it to keep that Triangle shape.

Yashiro, Takeshi

Takeshi looked at Mamoru when she brought up the Bruce Lee quote, she messed it up and he corrected her. “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who had practiced one kick 10,000 times.” That is not really about Versatility, it's about practicing till you have it down to instinct. So it’s hardwired into your brain, this doesn't mean stop learning more moves and practicing them 10,000 times. It means to always continue to practice.

He looked at Riena as Mamoru tried to explain it’s not bad to learn from others, as they all will learn from each other. This is one of the few things he actually agreed with her on, but this was just before Yoshida came over.

He nodded at Yoshida and expounded on Budo. “Yes, essentially it’s unarmed combat, against other unarmed or armed assailants. Learning how to properly punch, grab, throw, and when and where to use them is key in learning Budo.”

He went on to explain exactly why he wanted to learn it, saying he needed to learn how to be smart while fighting. Takeshi nodded. It sounded like he needed to focus himself and not go on the fly, Which is impressive he made it into the academy as is. He suddenly asked if he could teach him, he pulled his head up and straightened his shoulders, He was expecting to be asked to show him a few things but he was being so formal about it. Even bowing so low, He must really

He glanced at Riena whom he just offered to teach, but declined it. It was her choice. But he did feel glad that someone did ask him for help. Surprising as he thought that he wouldn’t be teaching anyone but Michiko, and the fact it made him glad that others were open to learn from him. As he hoped to learn from others.

I would be happy to show you a few things, as long as you promise me a spar first sometime. It will help me focus on what would complement your fighting style. Also, it seems you could give me a challenge if you made it in on your quirk alone. He bowed slightly back, before looking to Riena

Mori-san, please, don’t feel pressured by my offer. It will always be there when or if you decide to accept it. Like Mamoru-san, I too would like to help you become the best hero you can, as I too hope and wish you can help me become a hero as well. That’s what good friends do for each other, they help out where the other is lacking. I am sure once I get to know you more, there will be many things that only you could teach me.

ACION

The sound of the alarm coming from inside the simulation chamber knocked Acion from his dreamy state of mind, as he was busy looking for the best equipment for him to use. As he turned towards the sound, the sheer destruction of the chamber was the thing pulling him towards it.

"God..."

What in the world happened there?

The image of the crane and trucks come crashing down onto those at point C of the first exercise suddenly flashed through his mind, reminded by the scene in front of him. Jesus...Is another student attempting to kill one another?

Acion's thoughts were confirmed as he walked closer to the battle arena. Two girls, the apparently blind one and one more, was pretty much on top of each other, battered, beaten up and was barely conscious. Well, it seemed that one was already out, and the other was barely able to hold it any longer.

"This isn't the wrath of God, and yet the sceneries looked no different."

Well, who was he kidding? There were two maidens inside that place who needed help, and as nobody was paying attention, the responsibility was laid onto this winged boy here. It was his duty. Nobody said it personally, but it really was his duty

Acion wasted no time walking to the entrance, and slowly approached the two girls while observing the 'post-apocalyptic' sceneries. Who would have known that every single debris here was done by this two girls right here

"I did not watch your fight, but judging by your current state right now, it appears that you two require a helping hand. To the nurse office."

Reina Mori

Reina blinked, glancing to Mamoru as the other girl moved closer to her. She blushed upon being called ‘Reirei,’ the redness only deepening when Mamoru took her hand. Reina looked away quickly, and very lightly tried to pull away, more because that’s what she felt she was supposed to do—she ... didn’t really want Mamoru to let her hand go.

The dark-haired girl stared quietly at the ground as she listened intently to Mamoru’s words, fighting back her blush equally as much as she fought her instinct leave and quit bothering the other two.

As Mamoru finished, Reina glanced up to her again, looking for the right words to say, but coming up short. Again. She noticed her hand tightening around Mamoru’s as the other girl addressed Kenichi, something she quickly corrected with another pang of embarrassment. She kept quiet as the other three spoke, deep in her thoughts.

”Mori-san, please, don’t feel pressured by my offer.”

Reina looked to Takeshi for a moment as he spoke, looking back down again with a sad, distant frown. That... wasn’t it at all. There was so much she wanted to say to him and Mamoru. But she couldn’t. Even if she somehow had the courage to speak for more than a few seconds, she’d never be able to open up to people she had just met today, no matter how terribly she wanted to trust them, and no matter how much she liked them. Maybe that was the issue? Maybe wanting so badly to be close to them made it harder. It scared her. She couldn’t view growing close with others as anything more than setting up an eventual awful fallout. It hurt.

Be better, you piece of trash.

”I-I...” Her voice cracked noticeably to her embarrassment. She stared at the floor, her grip in Mamoru’s hand weakening as she pushed herself to ‘be better.’ ”Wh-when you teach Yoshida-san or Mamoru-san... I-I’ll join...”

There. She had forced herself. Her shoulders dropped, and she looked almost defeated. Maybe it would make the others happy in the short term. But she had taken another step towards setting up the inevitable break down. Guilt burnt her heart. This was what she wanted. She wanted to be with them, and to learn from them. But it was disgustingly selfish. Was there any hope she’d not screw these relationships up as well? There wasn’t—not on her part, and not in this moment. She’d was going to drag them down steadily, until a breaking point was reached and either they cut their losses, or she did so for them.

Connoisseur

Connoissuer began clapping his hands signaling to the students that time was almost finished, "Students should be finishing up and cleaning their areas. Sadly we do not have enough time to eat the Onigiri in class so I am gonna pass around some plastic food containers for you to take." Connoissuer went into the storage room and walked out with a stack of containers and napkins handing them out to the students.

Arsenal

Arsenal had been watching the boy shoot the gun before hearing a large crash coming from one of the training rooms, he quickly rushed over there to see Acion and two other girls on the floor. He let out a deep sigh, seeing as they were breathing. "Right before class ends huh?" Arsenal walked over to Yukari, "You are a special one huh, Don't worry I am going to take you to the infirmary" Arsenal said as he scooped up Yukari and placing her arms in her. "You mind picking up that lady over there?" Arsenal said as he walked into the main corridor of the Gym. "Class is gonna end in a few so lets put the gear away and head back to class" Arsenal put the small girl on his shoulder before shutting down the Gym. The lights going dim and the machines shutting off. The only thing lit up was the armory, "You can go ahead and grab your belongings in class, I will see you all tomorrow. I am going to head over to the nurses office" Arsenal walked out the door and began heading over to the Nurses office.

Roy Kusayanagi Kaida Beumont

Kaida nodded and said nothing...only a blush on her cheeks. She never had someone always complement her so much. She took the rice and opened the lid, seeing that there was no water in there she looked over to Jett and Mina to see them dump the rice onto the cutting board. She glanced at Roy who continued with his explanation on what he expected. She blushed even more and nodded. "You're welcome...Roy. Thank you." She looked to the pot in her hand and asked. "Do we keep it in the pot? Or dump it on a cutting board like they did?" She wanted to make sure she was doing it the proper way.

"Well we can handle heat better than most people so we can just scoop it out of the pot and form it like that" Roy washed his hands once more before cutting the steak into pieces, he washed the knife off and then turned over to slice the Nori into pieces. "Now we just take the rice and make form them into a small triangle but leave enough space for the steak" Roy made some light construct gloves and formed the rice into a triangle before making small indentation in the center. Roy then took the knife and placed a piece of steak in the center before wrapping it with a piece of Nori and placing it into a food container for later. "Now just gotta do this until we are out of Rice and steak."

She nodded, immediately scooping out the rice with her bare hands and watching Roy as he formed the rice, copying him with the same motion . She nodded again when he said they would have to do this again and again till the rice and steak was gone. "Isn't this like a staple in Japan? It seems really easy to make actually, easier than most French cuisine really."

"Yeah it is, I am pretty sure that is why Connoissuer chose it" Roy said as he morphed a couple of more rice balls and placed them into the container, at the pace they worked that they were half way done with the rice and steak. "I am going to take the left over terriyaki sauce in the pan and use it as sauce for when we eat it later" Roy said as he let Kaida finish up the Rice balls. He took the pan and placed the terriyaki sauce into a cup sized container before beginning to wash the pan, knives, and cutting board. By the time he finished Kaida would be done with the rice balls, when she was he took the rice cooker and washed it a well.

Class Change

The bell rang through the school for the last and final class change, most of the students were excited as they walked through the hallways because they would soon be fixing up their dorms or participating in afternoon activities.

Kasuke Mina

"I don't mind putting in effort as long as I'm doing something," Mina replied, as she waited for the rice to cool. [color=ffff99]"Just standing around watching rice cool isn't my idea of effort, however."

That's when he brought up what she'd said, and her blush was back. "I was speaking in general with that list. Any resemblance to real people is completely coincidental. But yes, if you could be a little less irritating in the future, I'd appreciate it. You could start my not trying to twist my words to make it sound like I'm saying I like you."

She had to stop herself from ending that with 'baka', and that's when she first admitted to herself that she might be in trouble here. Luckily, Jett was back in cooking mode again. She silently went back to paying attention.

Watching him make the rice shape, she then tried it herself, and did a pretty good job! She felt pride. She felt a warmth in herself accomplishing something she'd never tried before. If cooking always made her this happy, she might start doing it for fun!

The rest of the lesson passed without incident as the added the fish mixture, and the plums, to the rice balls in silence. Mina felt relieved that she wasn't being irritated, at first. Then she began to expect it. Then she started getting a little irritated by the silence. Luckily, the teacher announced the class was over at that moment, and containers were handed out. Mina took one fish rice ball and one plum rice ball and put them in her container. She turned to Jett.

"I have Quirk Application next. What's your next class?"

Jett smiled as she mentioned the waiting around for the rice to cook that she didn't mind having to put the effort in. ”Normally there would be more to do, but with two people the work was quick. But still being patient is effort in it's self.

After his pry into her words about pointing him out, she defended her wording, trying to put any doubt into his words. However her blush did very little but put holes in her defense. However he did decide to leave it at that. She had enough teasing for one class about it.

As they formed the rice, he couldn't help but smile: despite earlier finding out that he couldn't teleport, or Haruka not answering him or keeping her promise that they made when they were young. Hell he only met Kasuke that morning yet the fact he was able to seemingly forget about his issues while with her was interesting.

Despite her ‘armor’ she put up he had seen her caring side when he was hurt, even if it was a small but very bloody one, that was a side he hoped to pry out a little more. With the upcoming year he was sure he could.

When the teacher ended the class and passed out the containers he smiled when she only took one of each. Now he had to take the rest. It was fine though. He didn't have most of his lunch. It could have been the fact that she simply wanted one of each. As with a girl with her figure she seemed the type to be careful of what she ate. Or and what he wished was the case, was that she knew he had not finished his lunch and decided to let him have more.

She then asked what his class was, after saying hers was Quirk application. He gave a tiny frown, it was expected they were to not be in every class together, but it still made him slightly sad. Sadly I'm in villain psychology next. though I am excited, I've heard it's one of the more interesting classes.

He wasn't too sad… Ms. Mako was the teacher after all. But he didn't say this part. It was fine that only Haruka knew of his boyhood crush.

He smiled though, “If you like, I'll walk with you to your class.” he was sure she would say no; after all the teasing one on one she would probably not want that to continue for the moment. and that would be fine. He figured he would still offer as that was the gentlemanly thing to do.

"Of course."

This might cause him to be late for the next elective, but who cares. They are electives. It may or may not be necessary for his journey of justice.

"Let's get you there, shall we?"

Acion bended his knees as he crouched next to Jojo, placing his two arms beneath her, one below the knee joints, and one on her back. Using all his might, he tried to stand up. The seemingly simple task proved to be more difficult than he had expected.

Man, she was heavy.

Probably even heavier than Acion himself.

He was able to stand up, but that was pretty much thanks to him trying to do the standing procedure of a weightlifter. The problem was walking while having her firmly on his hand, without falling over, or causing her to fall face first on the porcelain tile-paved floor. He better not, otherwise it's gonna end in tears. Definitely.

Oh...

'Why not that?'

He had six powerful wings muscles. Why not use it to his advantage? If he could place them beneath his arms for support, then he may be able to do it a lot easier. Not easy, but it would relieve the weigh of her body on his arm muscles. That's it. That's the solution.

Instantly, the wings that were spread out, gradually bent forward. The top wings was then placed nicely beneath his arms, trying not to cut his own limbs with his sharp and hardened feathers. Then came the middle ones. Then the bottom ones. And when all six were in place, he began lifting it, with everything he had. And it worked...

He now managed to walk more properly with this approach. Though this would draw a bit of attention from several curious students.

Acion, with Jojo on his hand, supported by all six angelic steel wings, also walked out of the gym, following Arsenal to the nurse office.

Adriane Haven

A black town car pulled up to the visitors entrance, Before the car could even stop fully, the back passenger side door shot open. A relatively short blonde woman got out the of the vehicle as it still was rocking from the driver shifting the vehicle to park. She quickly looked back at the open door and said, Stay in the car you two. With a tone that sounded like a cracking whip. Twin sisters both looked out of the back seat towards their mother, Both nodding with a Clear understanding. She wearing a very form fitting pantsuit and short heels, they clacked against the stone floor of the gate. She would have looked like a member of a board, late a meeting.

She quickly went to the visitors entrance through Security. She came to a stop at the head of security of the school, hough despite her short height, she had a menacing look on her face that would scare even the most hardened soldiers. It was clear she was mad, from a vein bulging in her temple, the narrow eyes that seemed to give the clear message of 'Get the fuck outta my way'.

Sarge had been relaxing in his regular pose, stiff upright with arms folding when a much smaller lady with a mean mug came along to him, he rolled his eyes behind his shades knowing this lady meant business. She approached him aggressively, “Good evening ma’am, how can I help you” Sarge said with a respectful tone hoping he wouldn't have to get rough.

Her eyes narrowed even more when he didn’t get out of the way. But he was being respectful, it did little to curb her anger. “I need to Speak to the dipshit in charge of my son, Jett Haven’s class. He didn’t step in when he was supposed to and my son nearly got killed because of it. I also need to see my boy and make sure hes ok. “ She said with a sharp tongue. She folded her own arms, almost mimicking the much bigger man. She noted his American accent. Then switched to English. “Don’t call me ma’am. I’m not that old.”

Sarge let go of his tenseness a little bit when she seemed to relax, the woman didn't seem like she would leave without giving an answer. “I believe the teacher of that class is Akihito Yoshida. I can escort you to the Secretary's desk and she can help you from there.” Sarge said holding his arm out for her to walk ahead of him. “I am sorry about that miss” Sarge said switching to English as well, it felt good to speak in his native tongue.

Adriane walked forward, instantaneously going back to the speed she had before stopping in front of Sarge, If not a little faster as they walked through the grounds to the main building. She was slightly miffed at the Security guard. She was hoping she would run in with a powerhungry dipshit who would try to stop her or something. She reallllllly wanted to punch someone out at the moment. It might just have to wait for Yashida.

She stopped at the front desk and slammed her hands on the edge of the desk. She looked at the secretary, who was currently was gathering some things. “Hey! I need to see my Son, Jett Haven right away. As well as the dumbass teacher in charge of his class and the principle.” Normally she would have been a little nicer to the secretary. But she knew very well who she was, Mako Akane. Formerly Madame Obsidian. She may have turned her life around, but most people have the same personality, despite life changing choices.

Luelle started to cook rice. There was only one problem: the only rice she knew how to cook used a microwave. And there wasn’t anything like that around here. Not wanting to look silly for not being able to make rice, Luelle looked at Fumika.

”Um… If you make the rice, I’ll go get the filling! I’ll be right back!”

Going to the pantry for a few minutes, Luelle looked for something to put into the onigiri. She wasn’t sure what to put in them though; she’s never made onigiri before. She’s heard about them, but she has never tasted one. Looking around the pantry she saw some canned peaches. She figured that fruit and rice wasn’t a bad choice. The peaches might be a bit big but they could slice them into smaller sizes. Luelle then looked for something else and had an idea.

She went into the meat locker and looked around. Inside she found what she was looking for: meatballs. They were small enough to fit inside an onigiri. Luelle was also familiar with meatballs, since she made a lot of pasta back at home. One more thing she was looking for was salmon. Salmon was a common fish in japanese dishes, like for example sushi. So she figured it would work best in a japanese dish. She found some salmon fillet and then took all of it back to Fumika.

”I found some things we can put into the onigiri.’

The moment she spoke up, the tall, fluffy figure hunched over the table shot bolt upright, jumping as though she’d been shot. Then, one moment later, the smaller but otherwise identical shape next to her also jumped, as if only just realizing she was supposed to be surprised. She had a proper partner now, so she really didn’t need to go to all the trouble of acting out both parts herself… Regardless, both Fumikas turned around to face her in almost disturbingly perfect unison, and at that moment the smaller Fumika became intangible again and immediately dropped the (thankfully empty) bowl she - it? - was holding. Giving a wordless squeak of surprise, the larger Fumika immediately bent down to retrieve it, but her hand bumped into the salt and pepper shakers on the counter and immediately knocked those over the edge, forcing the smaller Fumika to frantically scramble to recover them before they could spill, almost tripping over the dropped bowl in the process. Finally catching her smaller self, who in turn caught the shakers and set them on the counter Fumika quickly shambled back to her feet, shaking her head violently from side to side and rubbing her rather red-rimmed eyes furiously as her smaller doppelganger disappeared into dust.

“I’m sorry,” She said at last, as if she’d been struggling to find the words. “I’m still sleepy.”

There was a prolonged silence. Fumika blinked again, the last vestiges of green fully fading from her now-blue eyes as the sputtering, dim symbol similarly vanished from her hair.

”Oh. Rice. I made rice. So if we put things in the rice, it’ll be done.” She… explained, for lack of a better word. As if demonstrating that she had, in fact, indeed, in person, made rice, she quickly recovered the bowl she’d dropped and began clumsily pouring the contents of a rice cooker bowl’s through a sieve, which she then upended into the bowl and began sprinkling with the salt and pepper. She certainly seemed to be working hard, but… She also wasn’t waiting for Luelle to say or do anything, as if rushing to accomplish everything herself. It was almost as if she still didn’t realize she had a partner. And, given what had just happened in the last thirty seconds alone, if she didn’t slow down...

Luelle looked as Fumika started to make the rice. But she seemed to be in a rush. Luelle wasn’t sure what to do so she walked up to Fumika and spoke quietly.

”Um… Do you need any help?”

Even though she’s never made rice maybe there was something else that Luelle could do for Fumika. She noticed that they didn’t have any of the seaweed and wondered if her partner knew where to find them. Luelle took a step closer as Fumika started sprinkling salt and pepper onto the rice and over the table.

”Do you know where that nori is?”

As Luelle approached, Fumika took a step back rather sheepishly, presenting the rather odd image of the taller girl seeming to shy away from someone a head and a half shorter than her. She looked away, seeming almost… Disappointed? She’d been really set on doing things herself, so maybe she’d taken Luelle’s attempts to help her the wrong way. Glancing around, she seemed to silently contemplate something for a few moments before trotting away, off to a cabinet on the far side of the room. She returned a few moments later with a large, pre-marked sheet of smaller nori strips, and placed it on the edge of the table before nudging it awkwardly towards Luelle. But the moment she acknowledged it, Fumika quickly drew back her hand, as if in fear of getting in the way.

”I’ll… Cut these, I guess?”

Luelle was confused when Fumika left and came back with the nori. Luelle wasn’t sure what she needed to do but she did something anyways. Taking a small knife she carefully cut the nori as best as she could. Some came out crooked or with jagged edges, but they were mostly uniform. Once Luelle made about twenty strips of nori for the onigiri she looked to Fumika again. She didn’t seem like a talking type so Luelle wasn’t sure what she needed to do now. If she asked Fumika a question, she might not say anything. Luelle held up the salmon and meatballs she had picked out.

”Um… Do you want salmon or meatballs?”

Fumika blinked. There was a faint zapping noise, and in a manner oddly reminiscent of the ears of a housecat which has heard its name spoken, the bangs of her hair curled upright as if of their own volition. ”Rice is salty. Salmon is fish. Fish is salty.” She reached out as she spoke, seemingly resolved in her conclusion… only to hesitate. “But meatballs are peppery. There are peppercorns in the rice. Either way, it probably matches…” She trailed off, seeming lost in thought, before raising her nose to the air and beginning to… Sniff audibly?

”The fish smells more tasty,” She declared conclusively at last, the fluff of her hair sizzling and rolling backward in a curling cascade in a manner that only sealed her already catlike appearance. One might have almost expected her to start purring as she took the salmon and… prepared to stuff it right into the riceballs without cooking it at all. While that might technically have been a valid approach for making sushi, weren’t these supposed to be more of a preservable, boxed-lunch type of affair?

”Ah!”

Luelle pulled the salmon out of Fumika’s hand, though she didn’t mean to be so rough. She just wanted to make sure that Fumika didn’t accidentally make bad Onigiri by eating raw salmon. Luelle put the salmon down and looked around the room before having an idea.

”I can make barbeque salmon to put into the onigiri. It’ll taste good, and they’ll be safe to eat.”

BBQ Salmon was a dish that Luelle made very often back at home. Salmon was pretty common in Alaska and all she needed was a pan and some extra ingredients: Garlic, brown sugar, butter, lemon juice, pepper, and soy sauce. All these things she could find easily. After measuring each ingredient out she mixed them all together into a hot pan. As they sizzled she cleaned the salmon before cooking it over the mixture.

”Back at home, I cooked a lot for my family. I wasn’t very good at first so I had to make simple things, like pan grilled salmon. After I started cooking more though I learned how to make them tastier.”

Once more, the taller girl was silent. She didn’t object when Luelle stopped her, beyond uttering a slight cry of surprise. However, once she began acting on her own, Fumika simply stood still, watching from a short distance away while awkwardly rubbing at her hand. There was a faint electrical hum that resonated around her, almost imperceptibly quiet, but nonetheless present, as something seemed to flicker over her palm where her hand had briefly brushed against Luelle’s. This only seemed to agitate her more, and she rubbed her palms together with redoubled persistence, as though scratching a particularly troublesome itch. As Luelle explained herself, Fumika hardly seemed to notice, evidently spacing out again. It was very strange, though. She’d been working so furiously hard on her own, yet the moment Luelle had intervened, she’d stopped doing almost anything, and jumped like a scared rabbit at the slightest questioning. The way she was staring glumly at the floor… it was almost like a scolded child, finding fresh guilt in every new word.

As Luelle cooked the salmon, she couldn’t help but notice that Fumika seemed odd. Before Fumika was bouncing all over the place making the rice, but now she was just standing there. She wasn’t really staring at Luelle, but Fumika seemed out of it. The way Fumika rubbed her hand made Luelle wonder if she had accidentally hurt her when getting the salmon. Luelle didn’t mean to hurt her or anything.

”I’m sorry, Fumika-san. I didn’t mean to bother you. I just wanted to help.”

Luelle tried to focus back on cooking, but she didn’t really need to do anything except flip the salmon in a few minutes. She tried to do a bit of small talk but she wasn’t sure if Fumika wanted to talk. Luelle felt a bit guilty for making Fumika her partner, thinking that Fumika actually wanted to work by herself instead of with Luelle.

”Is there anything else we need?”

Once again, Fumika started, and then quickly… bowed? That strange antenna of hers wobbled a bit, as if reflecting her own uncertainty. ”I’m sorry!” She apologized immediately, as if she hadn’t even heard what Luelle was saying. Yet, as she continued, Fumika blinked, then tilted her head to the side in confusion. ”Wait… Why are you apologizing?” She asked, now sounding more baffled than anything.

”I’m sorry! I was just… I just thought you were angry or something. Because I took the salmon. Are you angry?” Fumika shook her head emphatically, her antenna wobbling a bit more violently this time.

Fumika’s reaction confused Luelle. She thought that Fumika was hurt or maybe frustrated for interrupting her while she made rice. Luelle knew that some people didn’t like it when others force themselves to help them, and Luelle didn’t mean to do anything like that. But she wasn’t sure what Fumika was thinking either.

”If you’re not angry, not that I’m saying you should be, but if you are, I just wanted to say that I didn’t mean anything. I um…”

”But that’s backwards,” Fumika said cryptically, holding up the pointer finger of each hand and crossing them past each other as if to demonstrate the unseen relation of… Something? “I don’t get angry at people who partner up with me, but they always get angry at me. Because I’m stupid. And annoying. And get in the way.” She began to rather ruthlessly disparage herself with the blase air of someone discussing the state of the weather. She didn’t even seem upset or gloomy, but rather, sounded more like she was rattling off a laundry list of facts to be taken as obvious. “So I’m the one who should be apologizing.” Thus concluding her… Argument, if it could be called such, she bowed once again and then stepped back. ”I’m sorry. I won’t get in your way anymore,” she recited dutifully, like a disobedient child apologizing under orders from a disapproving teacher. Given the way she was acting, it was hard to take her words at face value. She had to be being sarcastic, or passive aggressive, or something… but the way she talked was just so bluntly matter-of-fact that Luelle couldn’t detect even the slightest hint of a double meaning. But… in that case, where did that even come from? Surely, it wasn’t something Luelle had said or done, but then what exactly could possibly have prompted that in the first place? The way this girl thought and acted… it didn’t make a single bit of sense to her.

Now Luelle was really confused. She had thought Fumika might’ve been angry at her, but now Fumika is… Angry at herself. Or something? Fumika had blamed herself for doing something that would make Luelle angry at her, but she hasn’t done anything like that. For a moment Luelle lowered the heat to the pan and tried to talk to Fumika.

”Fumika-san, you didn’t do anything wrong.”

Fumika was weird, but Luelle didn’t think she was stupid or annoying. Far from it. And Luelle didn’t want Fumika to feel bad or to be blamed for anything.

”You know, I don’t know how to make rice. I’m glad that you can make rice though. If I didn’t have you as a partner I don’t think I could even make onigiri. So don’t think you’re in trouble or anything. I need your help too. So please keep helping me, okay?”

Fumika blinked and gazed quizzically at Luelle, an unreadable expression on her face. For several moments, she didn’t say anything, but when she did speak, it… well, to be entirely honest, it really wasn’t what Luelle was expecting.

“You’re a strange person,” She said innocently, the faintest of smiles forming on her face. “I’m lucky. If I didn’t get a strange partner, it would have been difficult.” She gave a resolute nod. “Okay. I’ll help.”

With that… odd little remark, she shuffled past Luelle and began examining the nori strips. Then, as if struck by an idea, she took a handful of rice, kneaded it until it stuck together nicely, then flattened it out, placing a circular clump on one of the strips of dried seaweed. She then poked a single finger into the middle, opening up a small space there, before moving on to the next strip and doing the same thing there. She didn’t explain what she was doing, but a moment’s examination made it obvious that, in her own way, she was helping them save time. This way, once the salmon was done, they could place a couple of pieces at the center of each clump, then simply roll it up and have it ready to eat while the stuffing was still warm from the pan.

It was a little odd watching her work, though, even knowing what she was doing. All of a sudden, she seemed a lot more methodical and a lot less clumsy. Instead of sending things tumbling and scattering every which way, she moved with an almost robotic precision. It was like looking at a completely different person. In retrospect, it was obvious she’d been worried, but to think she’d been that worked up but had been trying so hard to fake being calm… Fumika really was a weird girl.

Smiling, Luelle was glad that Fumika seemed to be okay for now. Luelle would have to keep an eye on her though. She got back to the salmon was was basically done, now she just needed to cut it up. Luckily Fumika was already getting the rice ready to take the salmon, so Luelle only needed to put a little bit of the BBQ salmon into each of the rice balls. Luelle was even happier when she used up just enough salmon to fill up the last rice ball, leaving nothing left over. After that she watched Fumika roll up the onigiri, and with her help they finished their rice balls.

”Tada! Barbeque Salmon onigiri! How does it taste?”

The first riceball disappeared into Fumika’s mouth almost faster than Luelle could see. She munched on it with a peculiar sort of smile on her face, her cheeks puffing up like a squirrel as an electric jolt once more ran through her hair, and her antenna stood sharply upright, her bangs once more fanning back like a cat’s ears. They twitched slightly, then rolled back into place as she smiled innocently, evidently oblivious to the bits of rice still clinging to her face.

”It’s tasty,” She said, admiration in her voice. “Luelle-san is good at cooking.” It wasn’t really clear if this praise was meant as a direct compliment, or was just her way of observing something, but either way, the verdict was in.

Smiling Luelle also ate a rice ball, but slower than Fumika. It was hot but heat never really bothered Luelle. The rice had a touch of saltiness and firm texture while the salmon gave it spice and flavor. Luelle had never tasted anything like it, but she likes it.

”You’re right, it is tasty. All thanks to you, Fumika-san.”

As they ate the teacher ended the class. He handed our plastic containers for them to pack up their onigiri. Luelle wasn’t really too hungry but she packed a few onigiri, leaving the rest of it for Fumika. Maybe later Luelle could ask Fumika how to make rice so Luelle could make her own onigiri at home.

”Thank you for being my partner Fumika-san. It was fun, and this food is delicious.”

Fumika, who’d been busy stuffing multiple containers of onigiri into her bag, turned around, seeming surprised by something. As if unused to the words, she responded in kind.

“You’re… Welcome. Thank you for partnering up with me.”

The two girls waved each other goodbye as they parted. Luelle wasn’t sure if she’ll see Fumika again soon, but she knows she’ll at least see her again tomorrow. Gathering her things together Luelle got ready to head to her next class, Quirk Application. Once she had everything packed up Luelle left the cooking classroom and onto the next one.

Kasuke Mina

Mina was secretly disappointed that they weren't sharing the next class too, but before she could question herself, Jett offered to walk with her to class. Before her reason could kick in, she answered "Yes." Then her brain went into overdrive trying to quickly implement damage control. "Only until our paths split, though. You can't teleport right now, and if you got yourself late on account of me, that would be dumb of you."

Once everything was cleaned, put away, Mina's hands were washed and her hair was back in pigtails, Mina rolled down her sleeves and headed out, expecting Jett to keep up. She wasn't going to wait for him.

She stopped in the corridor and waited for him.

"Would Jett Haven once again come to the front desk. That's Jett Haven. You're mom's here to talk to you."

Mina raised her eyebrow, but didn't smile. She simply said "I'll see you after class, Jett." and headed off to Quirk Application.

Mako Akane

Mako had finally finished processing the paperwork for all the students, and just in time to get ready for the elective that she taught; Villain Psychology. As she was gathering her teaching notes for the first lesson. It was at that moment that an angry, very familiar looking lady stormed into the building. As soon as Mako realized who she was looking at, she smiled. Oh, she was going to enjoy this~

Mako calmly listened to Adriane's outburt, then, with a voice so calm and sweet that it must be sarcastic, picked up the telephone and dialled the staff room. " Is Akihito Yoshida there? It's Akane...Yes, I have an angry mom here looking to speak to a 'dumbass teacher', and the principal...yes, it's Adriane. What gave it away?...Alright, see you soon~"

Without missing a beat, or giving the Hero in front of her any time to respond, she brings a finger to her lips and then activates the tannoy.

"Would Jett Haven once again come to the front desk. That's Jett Haven. You're mom's here to talk to you."

Goddamn, she loved her job~

With that taken care of, Mako leaned forward, still smiling, with her eyes closed. She showed absolutely no fear towards Adriane. "They'll all be down here in a second. So, Adriane Haven! I haven't seen you in...fourteen years? It was the Hosu Diamond Exhibition, right? You're looking great!"

Mamoru nodded her head as Yoshiro corrected her. His version made sense. She just figured that maybe a hundred kicks could be done instead, and the other nine hundred could be spent learning different techniques. But that’s why she doesn’t do any martial arts. ”That makes sense. Certainly sounds better than what I was thinking. Gratzi Yoshiro-san!” Mamoru bowed her head towards Yoshiro as she turned her attention back to Reina. Reina was still being shy, and Mamoru supposed she couldn’t blame her. Mamoru wasn’t much of a thinker, but she had some idea that her attitude wasn’t exactly common. She was far too aggressive compared to other people. If anyone knew Mamoru, they’d always say that she was the type to jump into things. Mamoru normally didn’t think about that, but in this instance she was aware that she might have been pushing Reina too hard.

Mamoru knew nothing about Reina except her powers, and barely even that. Heck, Mamoru didn’t even talk to her until after the hero battle. And now she’s made herself Reina’s best friend, and they probably don’t even know how old each other are. To Mamoru something like this was normal, but for Reina maybe it was too much. For once, Mamoru had to stop and think, instead of just rushing in. Of course Mamoru wasn’t good at thinking. But she could at least take it slow. Reina said that she’d join Yoshiro’s training session whenever Kenichi or Mamoru joined, which was a good start. Mamoru then closed in to huge Reina around the shoulder.

”That’ll do, Reirei-chan. That’ll do.”

Unfortunately they didn’t get a chance to do anymore training today when there was a giant explosion. Mamoru turned back and saw some of the training rooms grow dark, and then Acion and Arsenal started carrying some students out. Mamoru had no idea what happened, but if she had to guess those two girls had an epic fight. Arsenal ended the class and everyone was dismissed, though they had to put their equipment away. Looking to the others Mamoru bowed her head. ”It was fun talking to you all! I got loads of stuff I need to get rid of, so I’ll catch ya tomorrow! Or whenever!” Mamoru looked to Reina. Mamoru wasn’t sure if how hard she should support her friend, but Mamoru would worry about that sort of thing later. She smiled at Reina, eventually letting go of her hand.

”Let’s hang out after school! I have a bunch of homework we could do together.”

And with that Mamoru went to return the weapons to their respective places. She was tempted to just throw them all into a pile and let someone else clean them up, but she wasn’t going to do that on her first day. She needed to get some more experience under her belt, get chummy with Arsenal, or else he might write Mamoru up for recklessly handling the equipment. Once Mamoru did get all her things put away she headed back to their homeroom to gather her school supplies and headed to her next class: Villain Studies!

Just as Donny and Hakura finished their onigiri’s, Culinary Class was over. The Connoisseur handed out some tupperware to put the onigiri in. Donny made a lot of onigiri for himself but he wanted to share them with Hakura too. Even if she couldn’t eat nearly as much as Donny could. ”Ah… G-Go ahead and have whatever y-y-you want. I’ll just clean up.” Donny stammered as class came to an end. He seemed much more confident while he cooked than after. He took all the pots and dishes and started to wash them using lukewarm water. By the time he finished Hakura was probably done packing up her onigiri, so Donny packed up his. Of course not before helping himself to two, or seven of the rice balls. Delicious hand-made egg and tuna onigiri.

Once he had his meal packed up and in his back Donny grabbed his things and turned towards Hakura. Although they worked together just fine during their cooking class, Donny seemed nervous around her. Since she was a girl and all. ”U-Um, I g-g-guess this is where w-w-we part ways.” Donny said in an archaic fashion. And his usual cadence. He smiled and rubbed the back of his head before trying to pad out this conversation. ”M-My next class is Quirk A-A-Application. So I guess I’ll s-s-s-s-see you later. Goodbye!” Bowing his head Donny excused himself and left to his next class. Not his smoothest exit.

Pacing to his next class Donny snacked on his onigiri, already clearing two out of his five boxes before even getting halfway there. Hakura’s tuna mayo mix was pretty good. Of course Donny’s own was great too, the lemon zest really gave it a sweet-sour twist to it. He’s never eaten something he didn’t like, even if it was literally shit off the floor. But he doesn’t really tell people he does that. As he walked to class he overheard the intercom saying that Jett’s mom was here. He was a bit worried about that; what happened to Jett or even his family that would make his mom come over? Then Donny started thinking. Did it have anything to do with what happened at lunch?

Donny froze and thought about it. While all eyes were on Ezra, what if one of those people from A2 had done or said something that got Jett into trouble? Maybe they ratted on the teachers and made Jett look like he was also involved in Ezra’s attack, and in fact what happened to Ezra? Donny was nervous as hell. As he pondered he noticed Jett and Mina walking towards Quirk Application. Mina started walking away, likely to let Jett go see what's going on. Donny went over to Mina with a look of concern. ”H-H-Hey, what’s happening with J-Jett? Is h-he in trouble?”

JoJo

She was surrounded by darkness and stuck in the recurring dream of what just happened, the power she felt as well as the immense pain that made her tap out. Her entire body stirred in the winged boy’s arms, her lips mouthing several strings of curse words, most likely her subconscious catching her up with current events. From mouthing curse words to actually saying them JoJo woke herself up eventually with a loud gasp, eyelids flinging themselves open, giving way to those bright lavender eyes of hers. The first thing she saw was what looked like an angel carrying her upwards, holding her like a bride; the thought that she died crossed her mind and was just about ready to accept it if she didn’t look over and see Yukari and the teacher Arsenal carrying her. JoJo was now forced to face the fact that was now being carried in this embarrassing position by a boy she didn’t know most likely to the nurse’s office and that realization alone was enough to force the girl force Acion to let her on her feet.

“Thanks, but I can walk,” she says grunting at the thought she had to be handled like she was some dainty little girl. Gritting her teeth in irritation at her dislocated shoulder to which a corner piece of a wall did nicely slamming herself into it earned a howl of pain from her lips but her arm was usable again. Rolling her shoulders to confirm everything was at least working the way it should before walking herself up to the teacher “Hey, let me carry her to the nurse, it’s my fault anyway” JoJo asked putting her arms out expecting to be handed the rubber girl

The flesh on his arms suddenly regained energy, as her muscles tensed all of a sudden.

"You're awake."

Acion heard her request to let her down, saying that she could walk. The winged boy wasn't sure whether or not she could really do it, but apparently, the fact that her muscles twitched the moment she opened her eyes proved that she was still capable of using it properly.

Complying to her words, he let her down, his six wings spread out again. She could really indeed walk, so it wasn't quite terrible injury it seemed. But the fact that she slammed her shoulder to the corner of the wall and then offered to carry the blind girl...maybe was a little bit overboard. Acion noticed from the beginning her dislocated shoulder, and that was no joking business. Did she really have to endure the pain because of something she felt really obliged to do? Who can say, but if he could really lend her a hand, he would...

"Are you sure you can carry her? Your arm is injured."

Yeah of course. Though he would probably act like his way made passed her next class. He could most likely make it even without his quirk. As he helped with the clean up he did smile on how quick she did say yes. Despite her ‘reasoning’.

As she did her hair, he rolled his sleeves back down, putting away their aprons. He noticed she walked towards the door, not waiting for him. He shook his head with a slight smile. Probably her just trying to stay ‘in control’ of the situation. However when he turned back around and grabbed his food, he started into a slight jog to catch up to her. Only to slide to a stop when he realized. She waited for him at the door! A pleasantly surprised look came onto his face.

As they started to walk, he was about to ask her a question when he heard Ms. Mako on the intercom again. He sighed when he found out his Mother was here. He knew exactly why as well. He looked slightly worried as he could only imagine what she was doing now. Now he would have to calm her down quickly before things got out of hand. He looked to Kasuke with a slight blush on his cheeks. Embarrassed slightly that this was the Second time he was called to the front desk in the same day. He shrugged with an apologetic look on his face. She simply said she would see him after class. AFTER. He smirked. He liked the sound of that. It meant she would possibly want to spend time with him. Maybe she meant the french lessons he promised her.

”I'm sorry I couldn't walk you to class. I'll see you at the the dorms then?”He said with a wink, before pushing himself into a fast jog.

Kasuke Mina

"Yes, I'll see you at the dorms," Mina answered, before carrying on, walking away from him. In truth, she'd forgotten about the French lessons for the moment. She wasn't even thinking about wanting to spend time with Jett. She just did.

On her way, Donny caught up with her, and her body language relaxed. She wasn't tense, careful or on her guard like she was with Jett, though that could be both a good thing and a bad thing. She saw him as a friend so was calm and open with him, but wasn't in prickly tsundere mode like she was with Jett. Still, having Mina act friendly and casual with you was a privileged not even the boy she secretly liked could brag.

She smirked at Donny's question as she looked up to him. "I don't think he's the one in trouble," she answered cryptically, almost chuckling to herself. "So. You took Quirk App, Donny? I thought you would be more of a Villain Psychology guy."

'Very well...'

If she insisted it so badly, he shouldn't breach such determination.

Acion then turned back to the armory, as he was so busy carrying Jojo that he forgot to pack his things up. Well, it was already packed, since he never opened them when he first arrived. He returned to the shooting range that he previously used the LSAT and retrieved his items, including his backpack and the box of armor Aurelia had given him. In fact, that box was the more precious thing here than a bunch of notebooks and pens.

Quickly departing, he rechecked the schedule of his class. His next class was also an elective one, and was the final class of the day. So much for one day. Quirk Application. Indeed it was necessary for his future, so he couldn't afford to miss it, or even be late for it.

As he walked to class, he noticed the sight of two of his classmates, Donny and a relatively small blonde girl, who he had seen but never talked to. If his memories did not fool him, her name was Mina. She was a significant fighter, indeed. And perhaps had significant heroic traits as well.

The winged boy approached both of them, his hand waved slightly to catch their attention.

"Good afternoon you two. Are you two in Quirk Application as well? If so, then we are on the same boat." A ghost of a smile appeared on his face, as one of the two was the one he knew and had befriended. Actually, not really friends yet, but he could at least put up a more friendly and less stoic face in front of him.

Mamoru arrived to the the class, the first student to arrive! While she was a bit busy putting all her equipment away from the previous class she was glad that she managed to grab the first pick of seats. Mamoru was going to pick her usual spot near the front (because Mamoru had somewhat poor vision), but she decided that just for the fun of it she'll take the “main character” seat. Kenichi showed her what spot that was from the last two classes she had with him, so she'll take his seat should he be in this class.

Mamoru kicked her feet up onto the desk and relaxed like some delinquent while she was still alone. She knew this wasn't something that the teacher's would normally allow, so Mamoru wanted to take advantage of being first by being a bit of bad girl. She took her cellphone out and started browsing the web and chatting with her old friends from middle school. Or at least the ones who'd be on mobile right now. ”Oh yeah, I'm a real badass.” Mamoru chuckled to herself. Then she saw a funny gif and did actually laugh.

Smiling as Mina seemed to greet him warmly, Donny was more happy to know that Hett probably wasn't in any serious trouble. Mina was smart, she'd know that sort of thing. This mad Donny relax too. While he was still a bit nervous around Mina due to his… Previous recent with her, she seemed like a really cool person. Of course, Donny was well aware that someone like her would also be popular with other people. Donny may not be the most sociable blob, but he saw how she handled herself at the cafeteria incident, and she saw her chatting with all the new people from cooking. And of course she noticed Jett talking to Mina too. Donny wasn't sure how to feel about that. Donny considered Jett a friend, and Mina was a friend too. He wanted more, but he didn't want to take something from Jett.

”Don't think about it like that Donny Boy. She's not yours. Don't get too attached.”

Donny’s face seemed to stiffen as if he was trying too pretend to be relaxed. Fortunately Mina changed the subject and asked Donny about him joining Quirk Application instead of Villain Psyche. He wondered if she meant Donny looked or was the type of guy who'd be more interested in how villains thought. It did cross his mind; no doubt many villains had a power not unlike his own. Though at the same time, Donny didn't want to find out how much like other villains he is. That wasn't something he came here to learn.

Chuckling quietly Donny rubbed the back of his head as he tried to say something like it was just a joke. ”W-W-Well, if this h-hero thing doesn't work o-o-out, I figured I'd look for a d-different job I could d-d-do. Probably something like, g-g-garbage disposal, or something.” it had crossed Donny’s mind that he could easily eat all the garbage he could come across, and it wouldn't even be nasty for him. All that trash that needs to be burned or can't be recycled, Donny could eat them. No waste nor pollution from disposing them. He could probably eat a whole landfill in a week. It wasn't the most glamorous or heroic job, certainly, but Donny figured that it was important too. Garbage men didn't get nearly as much respect as they ought to.

”W-What about you? I figured y-y-y-you’d focus solely o-on hero stuff. Dunno how Quirk A-A-Application could help you.”

As Donny spoke Acion stopped by. He didn't see him in cooking, so Acion must have Hero Gadgets. Donny nodded his head at Acion and returned his greeting. ”Yup. Q-Quirk Application. Kinda wonder what we'll d-d-do.”

Others

After the bell rang and more students returned from their lessons to head to their next class, and old man left the teacher’s office and headed to his class. Many of the teachers at Komei were of considerable age, and for good reason: younger men and women would be using their talents for active heroism, rather than just teaching and wasting away their talents. Mr White Hat was one such elderly gentlemen. He was at least a few three years younger than the Gravity Yarl, and they were old friends at that. Just another reason for him to work at Komei.

White Hat reached his classroom and unlocked the door. His classroom wasn't unlike most others, aside from the rack of laptops in the back. School laptops, which the students were free to use for study and school. And for the ones who'd try and lack off and play games or go to websites they aren't suppose to be at, White Hat had a joke for them. But he'll have to see if any of his students would misbehave like that. For now he needed to get his room prepared for class. Putting his bag on his desk White Hat first had to get his syllabi ready, as well as some classwork. While he was certain that his students would rather avoid doing so much work for the first day of school, Komei wasn't a class for slackers. Even if you aren't working on Hero courses, delinquents and educational misfits had no place at Komei.

”I do hope they're lively though. I hate to have to teach a class with no drive or personality.” White Hat smiled as he took a sip of water from his mug, which said “Silver Fox” in big bold English.

Kasuke Mina

If Mina noticed Donny stiffen and relax, she didn't show. She did respond to his next statement strongly, though. "What? You'd honestly be wasted on garbage disposal. You're really, really powerful! Don't you have higher ambitions? As for me...I kind of feel like I need this. As hard as it to believe, I still think of my quirk as useless. I'd just feel better if I was taught how to use it for a lot of different things. Besides, I was taught alot of Hero stuff by my mom."

That when she saw the winged boy that she'd noted from this morning as a definite no. She also remembered him from the lunch incident before she left. He was waving at them, and Mina's relaxed nature regained it's cold edge as she mentally prepared herself to deal with this melodramatic guy.

"We are taking Quirk Application, yes, though I wonder why you took it instead of the more dramatic 'Villain Psychology'. You strike me as a dramatic guy."

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi was the first to arrive in the classroom, which surprised her. It was an elective that could be taken by both Hero and Support classes, so she assumed that a lot of heroes would have used their impressive quirks to get here early. She chose a seat in the very center of the room and sat down.

She was a very pretty, smiling and cheery sixteen year old girl, with a flow of very soft wool-like hair that reached her shoulders. She also had sheep ears and two large, curly horns. These features didn't detract from her sparkling purity or beauty, though. In fact, they seemed to only add to it and make her even cuter.

To try to break the ice, she looked around, and asked the teacher the rhetorical question; "Oh, am I the first one here?"

Fumika delayed somewhat as she gathered her things. For one, she wasn't sure where she'd placed some of them, as she'd been in a bit of a hurry to claim the Main Character seat like Yoshida had asked her to. That much aside, she also remembered that the apron she was wearing wasn't just a projection, like she'd usually use, but was rather actually a real apron. But she hadn't gotten it herself, and had instead had it handed to her by the squishy man, so then she had to look around and find where she was supposed to put it back. Between these and other distractions, it was about five minutes before she finally made her way outside, paying less attention to her surroundings than she did to the map inside her head. If she remembered correctly - which, of course, she did - then her next classroom was on the same floor as this one, just two hallways over. Now that she thought about it, wasn't the way this school did things kind of strange? Usually, each class kept to a single classroom, and the teachers would come and go, rather than the students having to relocate. Although, she'd read that it worked the other way in America once. Now that she thought about it, Komei was surprisingly Western.

But then again, since different classes required different environments suited to different activities and different Quirks, she supposed it was no surprise that they had different rooms for each class. It would have been hard to do the team training exercise they'd performed earlier within a sealed classroom...

"Oh. I'm here," She murmured, glancing up at the door in front of her as her thoughts returned to the present. It seemed like several other people she'd already seen before were on their way down another hallway, but the thought of bothering them never crossed her mind. It would have been rude to pester them, after all, and she only would have been an annoyance. As she stepped into the Quirk Application classroom, she quickly noticed that she was one of the only people there, aside from some girl she'd never seen before and a teacher she didn't recognize. She recorded them both, noting with some curiosity that the girl's hair was tremendously fuzzy... Almost like a puppy perched on her head. Or a big, fluffy pillow. Fumika bit her lip. She was jealous. That must have been so nice. Her own hair matched it for quantity, and was soft and smooth, but it was cold to the touch. What she had must have been more like a blanket. Fumika liked blankets. It made her feel so safe and comfy to stretch them out on the floor, then roll across them, having her copies wrap her up as she did so. It was like being a turtle, except instead of a hard shell-

Oh. Right. She was standing in the doorway again. The teacher had been angry at her last time she did that. Quickly, she shuffled off into the same corner as before, preparing to take the "main character" seat once again. But, as she did so, she thought better of it. After all, Yoshida had never said what class he had after Hero Gear. So then... that meant he might be in the same class as her, right? Her antenna stood on end at the realization, and she immediately took a step back and sat in the seat next to the desk by the window, while a copy of herself formed in the "main character" seat to reserve it, just in case. For the most part after that, she simply stared into space, but every now and again, she shot an impatient glance at the door, checking each new arrival and feeling her hopes rising and falling in turn as Yoshida yet failed to appear.

Of course, it was only natural that the simplest, best course of action would be to stick close to her best friend here. That was how Fumika had always operated back home, so she'd been hoping to adopt the same routine at her new school. However, there'd only been one class at her old school, so she'd never experienced the sort of feeling she was now becoming aware of. This anxiety, this wondering of whether or not he'd arrive... She had no precedent for it. Either she'd had nobody to wait for, or the person she'd wanted to see was always by her side. As such, even when she didn't have any friends, she had never experienced this feeling. It was hard. She didn't like feeling this way. It would have been so much better if she could have always been in the same class as Yoshida. She wished... no, she wanted...

So it was that Motome Fumika came to understand the kind of "wanting" known as "loneliness."

And so, before she knew it, she came to want something other than to be a hero - something not rooted in a desire to please someone else.

She just wanted to smile like Yoshida had smiled at her. If she could just stay together with him, hear him talk, spend more time with him, then maybe...

She frowned. She'd heard it mentioned by other people sometimes, but... was this really how it was supposed to feel? The thing she called "loneliness" was a very strange sort of "want" indeed...
