A little Kingdom Hearts humor. I'm not sure why everyone hates on the action commands or "quick-time" events. This doesn't necessarily limit to Kingdom Hearts, but to other games as well. The new Spider-Man game is going to have the same formula and complaints were being made.

I think "quick-time" events are rewarding and do keep one focused on the combat or "on their toes." Not everything can be coded or executed normally.

Depends what else the game has to offer, Yakuza has quick time events, and they aren't too annoying because they only make up a 1/6th of the combat system, where as game like Ryse or Ninja Blade based the entire fighting system around it and made the games crap.

KH2's battle system wasnt that bad, it added a bit of variety to what was too simple and barebones in 1, but take the triangle prompts away and the combat suddenly gets a lot less cool.

I've sat here for an hour and I've never seen two people go "you're factually wrong because my opinion" more than this.

I am playing Re:Chain of Memories right now. I am a completionist and it is the worst. I'm stuck trying to max level Riku, only right after max leveling Sora. It's more difficult considering Riku does not have any useful sleights.

But the fact that a perfectly playable game like DmC gets its asshole torn out because their favourite mastrabatory cringe death metal cover shit one liner 'laid back' bad ass has turned into a slightly more anti-social masturbatory cringe alternative metal badass who swears.

It really highlights how sad it is that musty neckbeards 'related' to the original Dante enough to get mad when they altered him oh so slightly.

Dante is like the 90s 'tude personified except he came out after the 90s had ended and somehow managed to trick people into thinking he was cool. And what's more, it wasn't even until DMC 3 (you know, the first GOOD one) that he was actually the dumb wise cracking shitheel that people associate with the character - DMC 4 had to follow suite. DMC 1 Dante was just more plainly generic and playing to the people that think badass longcoats are the pinnacle of cool guy shit.

DmC is not great but it is absolutely on the same level as the original series in terms of main character. New Dante is just the character holding up a mirror to the fans. It's easy for people to look at the "FUCK YOU" scene and be like "Oh my god so cringe why" but you show those same people scenes where the Jester from 3 makes penis metaphors or Dante doing the matador shit in DMC 4 and they'll be like "IT'S INTENTIONAL IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE CRINGE FUNNY!"

You mean Divinity Original Sin 2 (Original Harder)? As Divinity 2 is not a multiplayer game. Both good games though. DOS2 is the best CRPG since Neverwinter Nights (1 and 2).

Anyways, I've been getting back to playing a bit of the Creeper World series in anticipation of the fourth game. Nothing like being outsmarted by a liquid over and over as I attempt to succeed in a level several different ways, only messing up as my timing was ever so slightly off or I accidentally misc licked by a few pixels and let my defenses crumble under the creeper onslaught.
