Yukari Yozakura

After the bath Yukari was going to stop by her dorm and just relax for a bit. She had some homework she had to do too. But as she wandered to her dorm she smelled that great cookie smell, even from the third floor. "Mhmm! Maybe Haruka would like cookies too." Slowly walking down the stairs Yukari followed her nose to the kitchen where she could hear someone cooking and smell delicious cookies. "I smell something scrumptious! May I?" Yukari walked over towards where she smelled the cookies, walking right pass Michiko.

"Hello! I'm Yukari Yozakura. Did you bake these cookies." Yukari was staring at a wall, butbif she just moved a few more inches to the right she'd be looking at Michiko properly.Yykari had left her cane back at her dorm so she just had to walk carefully.

@Silver Carrot

The first few steps onto her newfound dorm room floor made her shiver in excitement. The feeling of soft carpet brushing against your feet was that of utter delight. In defeat Tomoe went down to her knees and started brushing her hands over the carpet too, it went quick to her whole body rolling over the soft floor without thinking.

Tomoe was frantically rolling over the floor until her suppose to be roommate entered the room too without much of an indication. Tomoe timidly sat upright and hazily stared at the girl in the door with her hands still softly brushing the carpet. A girl with a motherly figure, almost a head taller than her? Cutesy looking and with pink hair just like Tomoe. Tomoe's eyes trailed up to her head and face, oh. Curly hair, weird ears and horns... Tomoe kept staring at those few aspects with her mouth hanging slightly open. Was she still dreaming? She probably was.

Tomoe timidly moved both hands to her cheeks and started to stretch her cheeks out quite far, it looked quite painful. Like rubber her cheeks launched back to their original place when she let go of them. Tomoe stared at Maeda once more hoping to get a more realistic look to her head now. Tomoe seemed quite confused and baffled at the same time when she looked back at the sheep girl, Tomoe didn't believe it was real in any way.

"Oh.. It didn't work, I'm still asleep."

She spoke in somewhat monotone manner to herself as she figured her pain exercise on herself hadn't worked. She slapped both her cheeks a few times with her eyes squinted hoping it would work better this time. With bright red cheeks she stared up from the ground once more while softly rubbing one of her cheeks with one hand. She spoke in monotone manner again.

"Owwowow. I'm not sleeping?"

Tomoe looked at the floor in front of her brushing her hand lightly over the carpet, felt real. Then she placed one of her fingers under her knee sock and pulled it up as far as she could before letting it go back with a snap.

"Owwowow, not at all."

Tomoe placed both hands on the ground and pushed herself upright before turning her stare at the sheep girl again. With a confused stare she went in closer to the sheep up until she was in her face. Tomoe stared for a little while longer before she unleashed the hand on the majestic half animal. Tomoe softly touched the horns like it was some sort of artifact that she was discovering. It felt smooth and hard like she expected. The ears, soft and bouncy and for the hair. Tomoe placed her hand on top of Maeda her head and moved it around ever so slowly. A sweet pleased smile was plastered on Tomoe her face like she was petting a sheep as a toddler.

"Hello sheepie, my name is Tomoe.. and what is yours... Your hair is pretty soft you know. I don't think I can let go of it hehe."

JoJo

JoJo lost complete control over her own speed and it got away from her which caused her to truck completely through Fumika sending the girl spiraling to the ground. Had JoJo not stopped right then on a dime she’d have kept going and trampled all over the poor girl. Looking back at the crop dust trail she left in her wake confirmed that she was defiantly slightly faster than before, maybe what happened in the gym unlocked a completely new door she never knew existed for her quirk till now. Nevertheless, she did just blow some girl out of her way at full force so she’d have to accept responsibility for that now, that is, she was until what was apparently the girl’s sister started to yell at her. Now she had the right to be protective, but just assuming the girl would have gotten hurt if she hadn’t been their implied coddling someone, something JoJo had a direct issue with. Sucking her teeth JoJo waited till Asuka was done and pointed at her while leaning slightly back.

“First, I bumped into her not you if anything she has the right to be angry, you need to learn your place and shut up; if you really have a complaint” JoJo tucked her finger in and formed a fist “Put those noodles you have for arms and lets go” She finished straightening up her shades and began to walk forward, brushing Asuka off to the side bumping her shoulder “As for you, I apologize for that I honestly wasn’t looking where I was going; my quirk has been a bit unstable lately” JoJo explained. This was just the way Joann learned to talk straight and to the point, she didn’t like to mince words or leave things to the imagination, whoever she was talking to at that moment was going to know how she felt about them right then and there.

Retha

Retha has her hands on her hips and listened to the boy talk intently and nodded her had he looked like a respectable enough young man and his psych report showed he was protective of his sister. For a moment the heat has cooled down a little bit as her suspicions were laid to rest, she had to be vigilant for troublemakers, although being that he was obviously carrying a large amount of luggage plus weapons gave her to boost in relief to nod her head in agreement. By the end of the conversation, the entire building dropped a whole five degrees, but it soon flared right back up and then some pushing a high eighty when that scream could be heard.

“Your room is down the hall to the left, and I put you right next to your sister so look after her, she's going to be around a lot of young men,” Retha said quickly before jetting off in the direction of the scream with literal fire in her eyes.

It only took a couple of seconds for the den mother to reach the source of the scream Kaida Baeumont’s room, a supposedly sweet and innocent little girl and being that those were her screams she clearly heard must mean someone snuck in and was causing much-unneeded distress. The whole situation caused Retha to all but knock down the door as she entered.

“What is going on here?!”

Asuka had just finished yelling at the one who'd started all this mess when, all of a sudden, for reasons she couldn't possibly fathom, everything suddenly spiraled downward into complete chaos. First, the girl herself started talking big about how she didn't have any right to be angry... Didn't have any right? She was family, that was as good a right as any. And as for her sister, Fumika was probably too stupid to realize what being angry even meant, so as her sister, it obviously fell to Asuka to be angry for her. Honestly, she was just about ready to take the smug girl up on her challenge just to wipe the smirk off her face, when something even more confusing happened.

The boy from outside the gates showed up, and apparently, Harukaze hadn't avoided him by accident. The two seemed to know each other, but what all they were yelling about, she hadn't the slightest idea. What, was he her jilted ex-boyfriend or something? She'd been in a few situations like that herself, but she'd always managed to find some way to settle things peacefully, if not happily. This, though... They were yelling at each other and crying, and any sensible person would have known not to get involved.

So of course her idiot sister jumped right into the middle of it. Asuka mentally facepalmed. Why didn't she understand that this wasn't any of her business? She clearly didn't know anything more about this than Asuka herself did, so really, all they could do was stay back and not escalate this any further. She was just about to intervene and try to pull Fumika out before she made things even worse, but then, she realized something.

She called him "Jett." No surname. No honorific. Just Jett. So now she's being rude on top of being oblivious? There's no way that they're friends... But then why is she so invested? Is it just because Harukaze's in trouble, or...?

She glanced around her, and noticed students poking their heads out of windows, or rushing out of the dorms to see what was happening. Geez, didn't Harukaze have any shame? She was being so loud that half the campus must have been thinking there was a fistfight going on or something... One of the new arrivals approached Asuka first, and she had to suppress a groan.

To her credit, she really did try not to be too standoffish.

"Motome Asuka," She replied brusquely. "And your guess is as good as mine." She shook her head, shrugging with disdain. Like hell she was going to get involved in a public lover's spat. Sure, she felt bad for Harukaze... After all, that Jett guy seemed kind of clingy. But at the same time, Harukaze herself wasn't exactly helping her case by berating him the moment he approached them. Regardless, she'd brought this on herself, and there was nothing Asuka could do to make this easier on her, so perhaps she'd just help her make a quick getaway afterward to save face and try to console her once she knew the full story... Just so long as her idiot sister didn't do anything else stupid, then-

"BOTH OF YOU, JUST... SHUT UP!"

...No way. There was absolutely no way. There was no way her perennially oblivious, practically mute sister just shouted that. In all the years Asuka had lived with her, she'd seen many things... but never before had she seen Fumika angry.

...So then why was she screaming at the top of her lungs, exactly? And what was she talking about? Asuka's head was still spinning from the sheer surprise of realizing that Fumika was actually capable of articulating more than a single sentence at once, but her shock had only just begun. Because one of the things that she heard her sister say was...

Because I'm stupid.

There was just no way. She must have misheard, must have been dreaming, must have... Must have what? How? Why? When? Fumika had always, for as long as she'd remembered, barely even noticed other people. On the rare occasion that she was actually home, she'd hardly even looked at her own sister or parents, let alone spoken to anyone. That was why her mom and dad had sent Asuka to check up on her in the first place - to make sure she hadn't gotten into any fights with anyone, that she was actually participating in classes. It was obvious that she thought she was better than anyone else, that she couldn't have cared less what anyone else thought. She never even tried to understand them. So why... Why was she saying things like that with tears in her eyes?

At that moment, a boy came jogging up wearing some kind of mask, which he hastily pulled off and rather awkwardly tried to insert himself into the conversation. But as he did so, Asuka couldn't help but pick up on his reason for doing so.

"I just...thought I heard Motome-chan shout."

He knows who she is. Not just that, he's close enough to be worried and come running at the drop of a hat. And what's this -chan all about?! Why's he so chummy with my sister? How's that even possible?! And more importantly...

"Oh my god," Asuka murmured aloud, blinking furiously as if trying to awaken from a bizarre dream. "My sister is friends with a guy. My sister is friends with a really cute guy... There must be some kind of mistake. How did this happen?" She pointed to the new arrival, her head darting back and forth between him and Fumika. "Kasuke-san, you go to school here, right? How did this happen?!"

Light streamed through the window.

They'd finally stopped yelling at each other. Haruka wasn't crying anymore, and Jett didn't seem angry at her anymore. But the way they both looked at one another... it wasn't right. This wasn't how friends were supposed to act. That meant that something was still wrong.

The curtains fluttered in the spring wind.

She hadn't solved things at all. She hadn't been able to help...! But what more could she do? How could she make things better?

The dull white light shone down upon dull white walls, filling the room with blinding radiance.

She'd been so happy to see Haruka, but now that Haruka was here, she was only sad. What could she do?

Something was beeping methodically. A single tone, then a pause, then another tone a moment later, like an electronic drum keeping time to an unheard song.

She'd tried hugging her, but even that didn't help. Haruka didn't even seem to want to be close to her. She didn't want to be close to anyone. What, then, could she do?

She couldn't forget it even if she wanted to. The sounds were ringing in her ears, the images had already burned themselves into her mind, inscribing themselves forever upon her consciousness. And there, right in front of her, was the thing she dreaded most to see...

In the first place, she didn't understand it. She couldn't understand it, because it didn't make sense and even if it did she was too stupid to work it all out! This feeling, this overwhelming pounding in her head and burning in her chest, as if her heart would stop at any moment... What was it? Why couldn't she even fix this?!

She felt just like she had back then.

A pale, emaciated, dark-haired figure lay on the utterly white bed in front of her. Even if those golden eyes opened, like the doctors said they would, she knew that everything would still be wrong and there was nothing she could do about it and it just made her want to throw up and-

"...Motome-chan!"

Huh? That voice is...

The image was gone, replaced by a figure standing in front of her. He was trying to smile with his lips, but his forehead was still pursed in a frown as he scratched his cheek uneasily.

Yoshida...! She wanted to rush over to him, to ask him for his help. He was smart and kind. He would know what to do. Maybe, he could fix things...! Yet, suddenly, her legs wouldn't move.

"Everything, uh, alright?"

No. Nothing's alright. Haruka is hurting, and Jett is sad, and my heart feels heavy and I don't know why. She wanted to say that, but the moment she opened her mouth to speak, the words seemed to flee, bottling themselves back up inside her throat as if to suffocate her.

"I mean, I don't wanna interrupt anythin', I just...thought I heard Motome-chan shout."

You did. I didn't know what else I could do. I thought I could help, but it didn't work and now I don't know how I can help. She wanted to answer him, but even though she could find the words, it was hard just to move air up and down her windpipe.

She couldn't move an inch, couldn't so much as whisper. Because no matter how much she wanted to, the moment she saw Yoshida's face looking at her like that, she remembered...

He wants to me leave him alone... doesn't he?

For a moment, she'd been incredibly happy, but that feeling faded, while the weight in her heart only grew. The fact that he'd worried about her, that he'd come to her rescue, made her feel incredibly warm, and her heart had almost skipped a beat. And yet... she knew that if she acted upon that feeling, if she tried to take that warmth for herself no matter what... He'd only hate her, just like Asuka did. She didn't want that. It was precisely because he was so important that she didn't want that. So, even though she wanted nothing more than to speak, she shut herself up, and once more did something she detested.

"I'm fine," Motome Fumika lied.

"My friends were just arguing, and I didn't know what to do, so I got angry. That's all."

He wouldn't hate her for this. Even if it wasn't what she had just discovered she "wanted," at least he wouldn't hate her for this. Besides, there were more important things to worry about than herself. She needed to help Haruka and Jett. Because friends were supposed to help each other. Heroes were supposed to stop people from hurting. As their friend and as a hero, then, it was her duty. There had to be something she could do for them. She just had to stop being stupid and think of it. So, bowing sheepishly to Yoshida, she quickly disengaged from the conversation, and rushed over to Haruka's side.

And, like always... A computer worked best when it was addressing one problem at a time.

So, Fumika said nothing that she wanted to say, and kept working on the problem at hand, like a good computer should.

How could I be so stupid?

Haruka watched in a daze. Her arms and legs were still shaking, even though she'd managed to stop the tears. She could hear the pounding drum of her own heartbeat ringing in her ears, beating ever slower and slower until her breathing had finally returned to normal. As the haze of terror turned to outrage turned finally despair reached its end and faded from before her eyes, she took a deep breath, and the meaning of her own words washed over her like a tidal wave.

This wasn't how she'd wanted it to be. Even if everyone else passed her by, or rejected her or looked down on her or even pitied her...

All she had wanted was for Jett to still look at her the way he had back then. She had just wanted him to admire her, to respect her, to treat her like she was important. She hadn't meant to lie to him, or to ignore him. It was just... This was the only way she could think of! Why couldn't he understand that? Of course she'd wanted to see him again. That had never changed. But... The moment he saw her, she knew this would happen. She knew he'd be angry, and then he'd think she didn't trust him. But that wasn't it at all. Couldn't he see? She'd just wanted... She'd just wanted him to be proud of her. It was precisely because he was so precious that she couldn't afford to let him know.

But it was too late to say any of that. After all, she'd already ruined everything, hadn't she? Not just Jett... Even Fumika had been angry at her. That was a punishment that had been coming for a long time, though, and one she well deserved. If there was anyone who should have hated her, then it was-

But she'd just been so angry! She'd been so upset that he wouldn't listen, so upset that now even he was looking down at her with those smug eyes. And the worst part of all was that she deserved it. She deserved to be coddled, to be pitied, to be set aside as weak, to be left in the dust, because in the end, all she was-

But what was even the point of trying to hold out any longer? It was all already over. She'd been found out, and now, she might as well just quit. She'd been an idiot to try to protest. In the first place, he'd already seen her, so why hadn't she just conceded immediately? Why had her stupid pride compelled her to say all those idiotic things? She wouldn't have been surprised if Jett probably hated her now. She deserved that, too.

Taking a deep breath, she spoke as evenly and as calmly as she could, but after her outburst, even she couldn't think of her own words as anything but empty. The sound of her own voice made her want to strangle herself just so it'd stop ringing in her ears.

Above all else, she was tired.

"...Jett. I'm sorry. As I said, I was wrong not to tell you. I'll explain everything later, just..." She motioned slightly to the growing crowd all around them. "Not here. Until then, I'll just... stop. I'm sorry."

Harukaze Haruka was so very, very tired.

As Fumika approached, reaching out wordlessly to take her hand and motioning towards the dorms, she didn't even have the heart to resist. She'd just get in, make sure Fumi was settled in... And then she'd just go. She'd seen more than enough for one day.

"Asuka. We're going. Come on," Fumika said quietly, her tone uncharacteristically grave. Her argumentative sister didn't even see fit to disagree, but rather simply nodded, bowed to a twintailed girl standing next to her, and then silently followed them away from the gathering crowd...

Kasuke Mina

The group of three left, including Asuka, so Mina looked sideways to JoJo and shrugged as if to say 'me neither', then approached Jett, who was just watching them leave. Her iciness was gone, but neither was she in a good mood. There was a deflated, emotionally dead pai in her eyes and posture, and she spoke in a tired tone of voice. Even her quip lost all it's barbs in her delivery; "Jett, you really need to learn how to understand girls better. Especially proud ones."

After a brief silence between them, Mina put her hand on her hips and looked annoyed. The good old Mina was back, at least partially. "So, are you going to tell us who that was and what your history is, or shall we play a game of twenty questions?"

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi stood with a bemused, slightly concerned face as Tomoe tested if she was asleep or not, and was emitting a very quiet nervous laugh. Before she resolved to stop her from hurting herself any more, Tomoe stopped, and came up to her, before immediately touching her horns. Hitomi blushed and meeped. Her horns had no nerves in them and she couldn't feel anything from them being touched besides slight pressure on her scalp, but it was still embarrassing. One did not simply grab a sheep girl's horns without permission. Even so, Hitomi didn't have the heart to tell her to stop, as the smol girl was having a lot of fun, moving onto her ears and then petting her hair. Hitomi relaxed now. She was used to her hair being petted, and actually liked that the therapeutic effect of petting her hair made so many of her friends happy.

"Yes, my hair has that effect on people," the sheep girl answered in a voice that matched her appearance; sweet, but not unlike a sheep's' 'baa'. "Call me Hitomi. It's very nice to meet you!"

Ezra

Ezra had finished cleaning the cafeteria a while ago. He'd began walking back to the dorms as fast as he could as he had an urge to perform more physical activity. He must have been an athletic freak of some kind considering that he'd not only participated in a training exercise but also a decent spar with a strong opponent in Yukari. This was not an issue for him however, he still found himself with plenty of energy and juice in his step as he found himself within the dorm building.

What he found inside made him happy to an extent. No-one was there, and he still had no idea who he was rooming with nor did he feel like snooping to find out but he figured he'd figure that out at a later date, perhaps when he was back from his time out. He saw his luggage waiting for him, a big bed to accomodate his height and wingspan and quite a nice room overall. He wasn't particularly sweaty and found himself not in want or need of a shower since he'd had one at the school, so he decided he'd make his business here quick and decorate his room later by changing out of his uniform and throwing it on his bed, before changing into his casual wear, in order to go and be at ease. Grabbing a basketball and his water bottle, he headed out.

He figured he'd hit the gym first so that he could save the more fun activity for later as he found himself in a very nice facility. He figured he'd waste no time and get his work in, hoping that Roy or someone would come in and spot him since he felt like he spoke to enough strangers today as he started on the dumbbells.

Roy Kusayanagi
Acion Nakamiji
Aurelia Nakamiji

Roy had been walking through crowds moving his way towards the outskirts of town, soon the amount of people in the area thinned out. The boy felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, he raised an eyebrow must be Acion. He pulled his phone out his pocket and went into the messages app, his eyes scanned the screen from left to right like a typewriter. He turned around and quickly made his way in the other direction with urgency, he hold his phone tight not to drop it and began dialing the authorities phone number. He sliced through the crowd even sometimes jumping into the street just to make his towards Acion. “Yes its an emergency, send any law enforcement and fast. Hosu’s waterfront port.” Roys heart was beating fast as he wasn’t expecting a text like that from the boy but he spent no time taking action. Whatever was going on he prayed he wasn't too late.

Roy reached the port but it was difficult to pinpoint where Acion exactly was, POW! The blonde boy whipped his head in the direction before making his way towards their, adrenaline pumping through his veins he turned the alleyway just in time to see Acion pummeling the guy. Roy shouted “STOP!” he shouted at the winged boy, there was a small child on the ground laying in a small pool of blood. Roy quickly made his way over to him and took off his track jacket, underneath he had a white tank top, “Shit Shit Shit!”.

The boy cut off the sleeves on his track jacket and made a makeshift dressing to wrap around the middle schoolers arm with one sleeve. He then cut the other sleeve in half and used it to tie and apply pressure to the boys wound. He put his hand to the boys neck he could feel his heartbeat slowing, “Acion snap out of it, if you don't this kids not gonna make it!” he could hear the boy's heartbeat slowly fading. Soon the police sirens could be heard coming closer as Roy clenched the boy, blood seeping onto his tank top. He payed no mind soon the police showing up along with Metal head, the Iron hero. Soon loud stomps followed by smaller footsteps could be heard as the authorities got closer. The officers came and apprehended the villain and Acion as well. “Let go of the one with the wings he was just trying to defend this kid!” he shouted but they separated the two. Metal head moved over to Roy and the boy, the blonde boy looked up at the hero. “He won’t make it if we just sit around, he lost too much blood. We need to get him to the hospital quick!.” Roy said as the kids blood seeped onto his shirt and body. Metal head turned around,“Call for an ambulance” the man said.

Roy shook his head in anger before turning towards Acion who was slowly being carried away. “We are students of Komei Academy, Heroes in training. He can carry him to the hospital in time!”  the blonde said as he looked up at metal head and then over at Acion.  “He was just trying to protect him from that guy!” Metal head scowled at the boy before turning around and facing the police force. He looked at Acion, “Young man, you do realize what you have done don’t you? Combating another person with your quirk is strictly prohibited, even if they were up to bad behavior you don’t even have a license to do so. You could have been killed if he was dangerous! Even though you did take down the villain there is still an injury and it's all your fault! Leave it to the professionals next time!” Metal head turned around and made his way over to Roy, “I’ll take the boy from here” the man said. Roy almost didn’t want to hand the kid over but he had no other choice but comply with the authorities for the kids sake. Metal head made his way back to the police with the boy in hand. “You all are gonna have to come in for questioning” he said sternly.

After that moment, everything around him happened almost automatically. Before he even realized what he was doing, he had stopped unleashing his rage upon the guy. And then Roy came, then the police forces. Then he could feel two arms escorting him away. Roy shouting to stop them. And then Metal Head’s severe scolding. For some reason, his words Acion could hear very clearly. And each acted like a knife plunging into his soul, each competing to carve a slice into his guilt.

’Because that’s your fault.’ It wasn’t Metal Head’s words anymore. It was the words coming from his own conscience. It was Acion, his inner self, who was scolding himself.

Then he turned to look at the middle schooler. He was firmly transferred to Metal Head, his face pale, but to Acion’s brief relief, he was still breathing; the light, weak and slow movement on his chest was proof. But if Roy’s words were true, then the boy would die if he was not taken to the hospital in time. And the nearest hospital was in Braid. A 30 minutes drive at least. Not to mention that rush hour was coming. Traffic congestion was inevitable. Even if he was given transfusion on the ambulance, it may still be too late. No, it would definitely be too late. And if that really happened…

It would be a scar Acion would never be able to heal. An irony so bad he wouldn’t be able to live with. The destined hero that was supposed to protect people, turned out to be the one being protected. And the one he should be protecting, died before his eyes. And it was entirely his fault. He couldn’t blame anyone else for that guy waking up and pulled out a gun to shoot at him. He was careless. He didn’t realize what he was doing. So who could he shift the blame to?

Nobody but himself…

’No!’ His fist clenched tightly.

It was him that caused this to happen. So he must fix it. Nobody could take that responsibility for him.

He had to do it!

He had to save that boy!

”Wait! My friend here is right. I can carry him to the nearest hospital. I can fly him there! Or else it will be too late!”

Metal head stopped for a second, “And why exactly should I leave you with this boy after what happened while you were with him before? Being a hero isn’t a game this is real life, a false move can lead to a mess.” Roy then got to his feet, “At least give him a chance to fix his mess, if you let that kid bleed out and die you will surely scar him so bad.” the boy looked over at Acion and looked into his eyes. He could visibly see that Acion was taking it rough.

Metal head growled a bit, the odds were right. For the ambulance to come here and make its way back to the hospital were too long. He walked over to Acion, “Do you really think you have what it takes, if he dies in your hands you will be the one to blame for his death” the man said looking at the boy.

...you will be the one to blame.

The words echoed into his mind. And bounced back.

’I was the one to be blamed after all. Even if not on paper, people would always know that.’ He punched himself mentally. So what even matters if it was on paper instead.

Acion looked back at Metal Head, his guilt still overwhelming him, but replied with a decisive tone, mustering all he had at that very moment.

”I may, I may not. But I know for sure you don’t have it here, at the moment. And after all, it is, as you said, my fault for his injuries. So it is my responsibility. To take this kid to safety.”

Metal head smirked, “Good answer, let him go boys.” The man said, the police were confused but slowly released the kid. “You have one shot at this alright, once you drop the boy there will be policemen at the hospital to take you to the station for questioning. If you screw up you and I are going to be blamed for this” the man said handing the boy over to Acion. The winged boy just nodded before stretching his wings, he held the boy tight before taking off into the air at high speeds. Roy looked up at Acion who soon disappeared in view, “You are going to have to give  your statement. Come with us” the blonde boy just smirked. “Certainly metal head” he said as he complied with the pro jumping into a cop car and heading for the station.

Acion received the boy from Metal Head, as he inclined his head once before flying up, heading for the direction of Braid hospital. His guilt was still eating him, but at least he felt a bit better. Enough to clear his mind of everything else but the objective before him: Get this boy there as fast as possible.

It was only a minute into the flight, and yet Acion was already reached his top speed. Not the actual top speed, since he was flying with only four wings. The two other was covering for this poor boy from the wind that could potentially stress out his life when he was still in the air. If he maintained this speed, he would be there in less than five minutes. Hopefully, he could still make it.

No, he had to make it!

This kid, even if he was quirkless, was a real life hero. He had tremendous determination. He had limitless courage. He had unlimited selflessness. And he saved Acion himself. If Acion failed to save him, then it wasn’t just the matter of humility nor responsibility...

He would be broken beyond repair.

And what had to come, had to come. Acion arrived at the hospital entrance all according to his calculation. Four minutes and twelve seconds. Every seconds for him felt like medium-eternity. As he handed him to the hospital staff, he was both relieved, to see him still breathing, but worried, and self-resented, to think that he could still not make it. He could have stayed out there until he could receive the news of him. But according to Metal Head, he was to be escorted to the police station after this, for questioning. And protocols weren’t there for nothing.

Complying to what Metal Head had said, he simply turned himself in after the delivery.

The police took Acion, Roy, and the criminal to the police station where the two boys were questioned. Both kids were identified, the called Roys mother and Acions sister to inform them of what happened that day. Neither of their family members were happy, Roy got an earful but it was mostly her being scared for him. “Yeah I am alright, just covered in blood, No not my blood. Yeah I’ll wash extra good” Roy said rolling his eyes as he talked to his mom on the phone. Soon Metal Head arrived with his usual grimace,

“I have good news and bad news. The good news is  he made it in time. A moment sooner and it would have been too late. Thanks to makeshift wound dressing and Acion’s flying ability he got there in time for emergency surgery they say he is going to be fine...As for the bad news, Acion still violated the law and attacked this man but he also saved a law. There will be repercussions for your actions as well as mine for allowing you to take the child. I contacted Komei and they said you will be on probation meaning you won’t be able to leave campus as freely as you did today and you will also have a curfew. You two must also not speak of what happened to anyone as I am taking the brunt of the situation. The use of quirks openly is a subject thats already on thin ice, this is for the sake of the people.” The man said with a straight face.

Just like after the fight, everything again happened automatically for Acion. Probably the only thing that could actually relieve his own fear and stress that was bottling up within him as fast as a bullet train, was the fact that the boy was saved. Just in time. But on the downside, he was given a curfew, and needed to ask for the school staff’s permission to go off campus. That was pretty serious, but at least it wasn’t anything too bad. After the guy finished, a phone call was made.

Sky Knight’s HQ

’God...’

For all the fame and glory of the Sky Knight, and this is what she gets for an office as an HQ? It’s so humid and...claustrophobic!

But it couldn’t be helped. Getting a deal from the military was not an easy task. Even if they were pros, doesn’t mean they would be able to possess legit lethal weapons or confidential infrastructures of these people. Surely, they were given some freedom and rights as pros in Hosu, but the military was a different story. However, the other options were simply too expensive. The Sky Knights had a fair amount of members, and not all of them were poor broken ass. Hell, Aurelia was rich as well. But to equip themselves with expensive radars and computers...just was a bit too much. A lending of infrastructure was a far better option, although the argument for it was long and tedious.

Still, she was not giving up. For her goal was to get herself and the teams on that ‘thing’. The ‘thing’ that had been sitting in the hangar for so long, it might be rotting in there. She would get everyone to step on it, and fly it to the Earth’s end, extinguishing all villainy. The journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step. And she was one step closer to it.

Aurelia sat down on her desk at the center of the room, as she laid her back on her chair, cracking her knuckles, preparing to finish up all the reports of the patrols she had been doing recently. She was about to began her work when the phone rang.

”Now who…” She asked herself as she take a look. ”Acion?”

She took the call immediately.

”Acion, how’s my hopeless little brother?” She said jokingly. ’Yeah...yeah… Her expressions normalized. And then…

”YOU DID WHAT?!?!?!”

She screamed, punching the desk so hard and loud, that caught the attention of everyone outside the room.

”You’re telling me that you get into trouble with the police because you are trying to save the middle schooler from a total maniac. Oohhh, these people. I’m gonna get a petition to the court for this!” She said angrily, but as the voice from the other side explained, her expression and tone turned differently

”What do you mean the boy was critically injured because of you?” She conceded.

Sweet ever loving God…

On the first day?!

”So what’s gonna happen to you?” She listened as her brother explained.

”You’re on a curfew? So it’s not gonna affect your credits, or your hero records? Or me? Oh that’s so lucky of you…” She said sarcastically. Or not really. She once got into way less trouble than that in terms of severity when she was in Komei, and yet what she received was more severe.

Her tone was grumpy and impatient, but as his brother continued on, she finally cooled down. For she had realized how much unnecessity of what she just said.

”You’re out now?” She asked, as the voice continued, the resentment could be felt. ”Ok, I get it. I’ll see you later.”

She said her finals, as Acion hung up.

’Damn…’ She sighed

”Is everything alright, Au?” A man with jet-black hair, around her age, opened the door, looking a little bit concerned as she took notice of her expression.

”Just family business. It’s nothing.”

”Your brother?” He hit right on spot, as she sank a little.

”Well...yeah. How did you know?”

”Every time you talk about family, you talk about him, so I just take a guess.”

She scratched her head, a little bit embarrassed. ”Say, do we have any work to do tomorrow, or the day after?”

”We do. And in fact, a lot.” He said, as her face showed disappointment. ”Now is the height of criminal activities, so we must remain on standby and ready for action at all time. And besides, there’s still him. You know him...”

”The Sword Saint…”

”Yes. And he is still out there. Somewhere. We have combed the city for like, more than ten times and we still cannot track down him nor any of his allies or servants.”

”We’ll get him eventually. He can’t hide forever. But I hope that the price to pay for his capture...was not another man’s life.”

Both of them inclined their heads lightly at that, and gave a silent pray. But back to the problem. She was pretty busy the next day. Morning patrol, afternoon paperwork and stuff. The only time she would be left off would be during the evening, when her shift was lifted for another one to take the job. But she obviously couldn’t wait until tomorrow night.

Acion hung up the phone. And naturally, he was released from the police after all procedure was completed. As it turned out, he was dismissed of all credits relating to the incident, and that there were a curfew imposed on him. But at least everything worked out. The kid was safe, the criminal was apprehended. The final goal was achieved.

But there were one particular person who hadn’t gotten over it.

And who else...

’That kid is injured because of you, you fool! You should’ve seen him coming. But you didn’t!’

The winged boy sighed heavily, at his own soul mocking himself.

’But that was also beyond my ability to foresee.’

‘Did you just accept that all of this happened because of nature. That you cannot do anything to stop it?!

That it is thus fate?

It shouldn’t be.

He was on the right path. He knew he was on the right path. So why must this happen?

Acion clutched his forehead tightly, his finger dug into it, as he gave another sigh.

After getting off the phone with his mother Roy changed out of his bloody clothes and donned a Hosu police T-shirt. The prior clothes were placed in a bag and exposed of by the authorities. He shivered now thinking how he was completely covered in a stranger's blood. I am one bad man, I can't believe I was soaked in someone else's.. the boy shook his head before heading over to Acion who seemed to have been taking it rough. Roy understood why exactly why, the winged boy was so prideful that a slip up like that would topple his world. He walked over to Acion and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Look...mistakes happen. But ultimately it's your choice if you want to loathe in them forever or learn from them. If you didn't pop up that middle schooler would have been toast most likely and we would have never knew.”

Roy balled his hand up in a fist and gritted his teeth, this is what Ms Mako was trying to prepare him for. The real world once they leave school isn't forgiving, the two boy got lucky today. The boy’s grip on Acion got tighter.

“It's okay to be mad but don't beat yourself yourself up about it. You were able to get a second chance and fix the mistake you made! You saved his life when everyone else couldn't! We all had to depend on you in the end!”

Roy was shaking the boy aggressively and shouting. He dropped his head and thought back to when he was a hopeless kid. It was pitiful the state he was in and only one person seemed to care if he got better. He wasn't acknowledged by others much, he didn't even know who his dad was. They just knew him as a walking mistake who only survived because of his dependence on others.

He let go of Acion as he realized that he must have been singing the boys shirt slightly, and lifted his head up with a fiery glare.

“That villain would have still been on the loose and that boy would have been dead if you didn't man up. I don't care what metal head or the police say. You were definitely a hero today.” Roy walked forward and stretched a bit. “What's your choice Acion, sink or swim.” The boy turned around with a stoic face.

’You were definitely a hero…’

The words were finding its way into him.

He really did save the boy.

But what mattered was that he caused more than he should.

However, if he wasn’t really there during that hour, he surely would have been dead. Then he should have been satisfied that he had done the job. The threat was the man, and he eliminated him, and saved the boy from his peril. That was exactly what happened. He had done his job correctly

Then why does it still hurt? His heart…

Mistakes do happen, like Roy said. But to Acion, that was to make himself better, to learn from, so that he would not make the same mistake during the real thing: the time that mistakes shouldn’t have occurred. And that was exactly that time. And he screwed up.

It was all according to his so-called destiny. Until now. When everything suddenly turned for the worst.

The winged boy clutched his forehead again. Obviously, the slip up were powerful enough to trigger an entire internal warfare between himself and his own conscience. Between himself, and his own ideals.

’Is everything I’ve been building up until now is all good-for-nothing?’

’Of course. You messed up what you think is destined to succeed.’

‘But in that case...isn’t everything already set up. By the divines? By God?’

Then he is destined to fail?

That can’t be right...

Its either that…or there is no such thing as destiny.

But that would go entirely against his father’s teachings...for all these years…

It couldn’t be…He was the son of the Fortress and Whiteswan. He was said to be one of the chosen. Was his father wrong all the time?

“What's your choice Acion, sink or swim.”

Roy’s next words knocked him back to his senses.

”You ask questions that sounds like answers…You know that I cannot choose the former.”

His tone was unreadable.

He was right though.

Acion had two options. To either dwell on it, or get over it.

”Let’s go back…” Again, his tone still contained self-resentment. But he had felt much better.

For he had gotten someone that recognized him. As the one he should be striving for.

He began walking down the street, leading to Komei, again, leading the way.

”Thank you…”

He muttered. To Roy. Whether he could hear it or not, Acion did not know…

Roy put his hands behind his head, “Highschool isn't anything like it is on Tv, it's a lot more interesting.” He said as he put his hands behind his head. “You owe me a new track jacket, that was my favorite...if you really want to be thankful.” Roy said smirking after picking up the mumbling from Acion.

So the horns were a no go? Tomoe looked a bit surprised and confused at the reaction of Maeda after having touched her horns. Must have been a sensitive spot or something. People with weird quirks had those kind of sensitive spots, she met a few people where Tomoe could definitly not touch their special limbs without asking first. Maeda seemed fine enough with it although a little nervous and shy.

Her hair was so soft soft, it was smooth to touch and smelled really really nice. Tomoe would rub her face against it but it was too short for that without pulling out the hairs. Maeda seemed more comfortable with this instead of her horns, actually so comfortable that Tomoe doubted this was her first time being pet.

Tomoe was enjoyably petting the sheep girl when she suddenly spoke up. Tomoe jumped a little giving the girl a surprised look.

"Oh! You can talk."

Tomoe stopped with moving her hand for a moment and instead stared at her in surprise for a while longer. The sheep said that the hair had that kind of effect on people. No surprise, she was half sheep and everyone like to pet sheeps. Well actually, Tomoe did have a trauma event at the pet farm. Back when she was about 3 years old she was assaulted by one of the pet animals. It pushed her over with her butt into the mud, horrible creatures those pigs! Hopefully this sheep wasn't like that. Farm animals had tendencies to bite though, Tomoe looked a little stressed out all of the sudden, pulling back her hand with a somewhat horrid expression of the fact that she could be bitten.

During her thoughtful moment the sheep had called herself Hitomi and was most likely planning to make her nest in this very room seeing from her suitcases. Tomoe gave a short nod back hearing how she said it was nice to meet her.

"Likewise. Will you sleep here too? You can use my second bed if you want."

Tomoe poked out her hand at the hand of Maeda and softly grabbed hold of it pulling it closer to her face to study it and push one of her fingers onto it feeling how squishy it was. Tomoe looked surprised at every aspect of this girl it seemed.

"Squishy..."

Tomoe let go and watched down the entire body of Maeda before hopscotching her way around Maeda to the back of the girl. Tomoe quickly squatted down and grabbed hold on the edge of Maeda her skirt moving it up quite swiftly. After a small peek she could already tell that Maeda didn't seem to have a tail of sorts. Tomoe kept looking however growing somewhat red at the mere sight of things.

"Sorry..."

Mamoru saw lots of students pass, not many who seemed to take notice of Luelle and Mamoru, even though they were all dressed up and posing. What they did seem to do was notice a big scene outside of the dorm. Mamoru was too far to really hear the bulk of the conversation, but hearing Fumika shout out made Mamoru concerned. ”Hmm. Looks like they’re having a bit of a tiff…” That’s when Mamoru snapped her fingers and turned to Luelle. ”Luelle! I need you to go set up the dining room. Thirty people! Multiple tables. I’ll be right back!”

The pinkette dove into the kitchen where she smelled all sorts of good things. Cookies and steaks, pretty much part of a balanced dinner. As she went in Mamoru almost ran into Mako but managed to avoid her at the last second. ”Sorry sensei! Donny are you here?” Sure enough the big boy was standing over eight bowls of beef don, which was exactly what Mamoru was hoping for. ”Doooooonny! That smells yummy! So hey, I saw ya come in with a whole bunch of food and was wondering if maybe you’d like to help make dinner for everyone! As a sort of celebration for surviving the first day of school and all. I noticed we got a lot more friends here than I expected, teachers too, and I think Fumika-chan brought family over! You know I think it’d be totes awesome if you could help me treat them all for dinner so they have a good memory of today.” Mamoru clasped her hands together as if she was begging.

”Plus between you and me, I think there’s some dramaaaa going on outside, and I’m thinking that maybe we could do something about that with a nice dinner. I can totally see it going horribly wrong, but as a class we need to be able to stick together and confide in one another. I’m sure there’s plenty of things you’d like to talk about but can’t find the right words for it. Words for that special lady perhaps, eh heh heh! Anyways just make dinner for like, thirty people and I’ll make sure that you’re sitting with plenty of pretty ladies. Okay thanks bye!” Mamoru said without even staying to listen to Donny. She just handed him a clean pan and spatula and left the kitchen to head outside. Mamoru didn’t have many talents, but she used to play a lot of softball. And on the open field, one needed a large presence, as well as lung capacity, to shout loud enough for the whole field to hear. And hopefully she’ll be loud enough to shake this entire building.

”DONNY’S MAKING DINNER! ALL STUDENTS, STAFF, AND GUESTS ARE INVITED!”

Once she had that out of the way, Mamoru went to go help Luelle set up the tables by getting the plates and cups. She should’ve worn her own maid outfit, but no time for that now. She needed to set up today’s dinner!

Mako Akane

After getting the meat ready Donny had to slice up the onions. After he washed them under the tap he took a new knife and started to slice the onions into fine bits. Unlike some, he had no issues about the onions stinging his eyes, partly due to not having eyes but mostly because he knew how to space himself and give the onions proper ventilation. They did smell nice when he released their aroma though. Once they were sliced up he mixed the onions and the sirloin steak into a bag. He'll get to them soon, next was the rice.

The rice was pretty simple. He took some cooked rice and stir fried it with a bit of leftover onions and walnuts. He added some soy sauce to taste, with a bit of garlic powder as well. Didn't take him too long before he had enough walnut rice to fill up eight bowls. He had to move quickly though, as he didn't want the rice to cool down before the steak was finished. So he moved onto the steaks. Cleaning a few pans Donny didn't let up for a second; he buttered the pans and let them heat up. When it was time he put the steaks on them. The steaks, so thin and tender, cooked quickly. After the steaks were made to a medium rare he fried the onions they were soaking in too. Once they were a nice golden color Donny dumped them onto the steak into each beef bowl.

”Something spells good!” Spoke a voice from the doorway to the kitchen. It was Ms. Mako. The front desk secretary who Donny wouldn’t have seen yet but would have heard her high, saccharine voice on the tannoy. She had changed her old, damaged sweater since Villain Psychology, now wearing no jacket at all but a dark maroon turtleneck, with the neck rolled down. She smiled disarmingly at Donny, her eyes ever closed. ”Got a minute to talk?”

At first Donny didn't notice Miss Mako. He was really into his cooking. First two steaks, then four, and finally eight. They were piling hot and still sizzling in the bowl. Donny have them a good whiff and wondered if he'd have time to make cake. He was certain he could, maybe with some help. That's when he turned around to ask some of the other students in the kitchen when he noticed Miss Mako in the kitchen looking at him. Or at least facing his direction, it was hard to tell with her eyes closed.

”A-A-A-A-A-Akane-Sensei?! Um um um, uh, I-I g-g-guess? Am I in t-trouble?” Donny said, panic clear in his voice. He swore he hadn't done anything yet. Did he eat too many cookies? Did he accidentally steal something from that super market? Was he in trouble for helping Ezra back at the cafeteria? So many things Donny thought he could be in trouble for that he didn't bother keeping quiet about it.

”I d-d-didn't meant to eat all the cookies! They were so g-good! Um um I'm uh ah… Was my coupons bad or something? I wasn't t-t-trying to steal anything from Mega Tenko! Only t-t-the deals were a steal, not m-m-me! A-A-And Ezra didn't force me t-t-to help him or n-nothing! I just… W-W-Wanted to h-help…”

Mako chuckled, and leaned against the wall, folding her arms, maintaining a relaxed posture ”No, no. You’re not in trouble. In fact, this meeting’s strictly off the books, and out of personal interest. It’s about that plan this morning to sink the entire of Point B. Like I said, you’re not in trouble. I just want to make sure that this is a one-time thing, why it happened, your personal philosophies, that sort of thing.”

Donny’s face grew sullen when he heard that Mako wanted to talk about the Point B thing. He had thought that was just a bad memory brought up by Shiki, but now Mako wanted to know about it too? Honestly he had kind hoped that Ezra’s stunt in the cafeteria would have wiped that memory off everyone’s mind. It was easier for people to dismiss Donny destroying a building if people were talking about how Ezra nearly maimed someone. ”I told them to leave but they didn't… I couldn't just let my team down after I told them I'd take care of Point B… They couldn't honestly expect me to take on everyone there by myself…” Donny mumbled as he went about cleaning up his workstation. The clatter of pans and water nearly drowned out his words.

Mako listened to his mumblings, picking them up over the sound of washing up, and thought for a while, before asking more questions. She never looked the slightest bit angry or cross, and had the soft cadence of a psychiatrist. ”Would you say you were trying to prove you were strong and useful, or were you just trying to win the game as if nothing else mattered? Or both? Did you make up sinking the building on the fly, or was it your plan B before you told them to leave?”

Donny stopped washing the dishes and looked down into the water. Though murky and with a bit of soap, he could see the reflecting on the surface. Opening his eyes he could catch a glimpse of the blackness underneath. ”I… Wanted them to see… I could be trusted. And relied on. And that I could keep my promise…” It hurt him to say that. Cruel memories about Ringo went through Donny’s mind when he said that. How dogged and desperate he was for other people’s approval.

As for the latter half of the question Donny went back to doing the dishes and putting them away. He didn't want to answer them until he got back to his food. ”I… Well… I was going to dig a hole first, thought maybe I could make them fall in… Then I found the tunnel underneath the Point and thought maybe… With a big enough hole… It would be easier.” Donny said in disjointed, vague sentences. But for someone like Mako it wasn't that difficult to piece his thoughts together; he was going to dig holes anyways, he just took the opportunity with the abandoned train tunnel to dig one giant hole that would sink the whole building instead of just a few spots inside. ”So I guess I… I thought about it, and well that plan… Went… Better than I expected?” Donny said with some uncertainty, as if “better” wasn't really the word he wanted to use.

Mako nodded as she listened then spoke, not as a question, but as a statement. ”You never stopped to think ‘is what I’m doing worth keeping that promise for?’ That was your biggest priority. Then you disassociated what you were doing with its context to the point where you forgot you were setting traps for real people, and you just thought in terms of ‘It’ll be more efficient to make one big hole instead of several small ones.’

You know, that cooking’s starting to make me hungry. You’re quite good at it!”
She remarked, changing the subject suddenly to transition to a new point. ”I’m wondering if this has any connection to something I read in your file; that you wear that suit because you’re scared of people seeing the real you. It’s quite rare nowadays for a mutation quirk user to conceal their mutation and keep it a secret. Maybe this prevented you from planning properly with your teammates about how best to utilise your abilities. Why are you so scared of your quirk becoming public knowledge around Hero students?”

Donny’s body felt cold and pale when Mako had just blurted out his secret. Despite Ezra and Mina seeming pretty cool about the whole “sentient slime” thing, Donny’s mind panicked and in his fright he ushered Mako out of the kitchen, away from prying ears, and someone more private outside. ”A-Akane-sensei, p-p-please don't say that outloud! I…” Donny looked away in his distress, running his forehead as if that was suppose to help. He tried to think of an answer but he wasn't really pulling up much. ”I… I don't know. I've always worn a suit since… Since I left primary school. Growing up you know… People were scared or disgusted at me. They thought I was a monster. I even got attacked a few times just for being there. I couldn't help it… I was just a small, moving shit stain on the floor… Of course they'd be scared.” Donny leaned towards a wall, holding himself up with his forehead.

”I couldn't expect the world to accept me. So I just… Adapted. People are more comfortable around me, like this. And… It's easier for me, too.”

Mako chuckled as she was ushered out the kitchen. Not sorry in the slightest. If there was anybody in that room, she would have looked them in the eye and told them about Donny in a heartbeat. ”Kids are cruel. The school I went to was really bad for bullies. I should know. I was one of them. I can see your childhood has given you esteem issues we need to work on. You can’t keep your quirk a secret forever, especially if you want to be a Hero. And if there’s anywhere you’re going to find respect, support and kinship for your real self, it’s here.”

Donny thought about Mako’s word, sensing truth in them. So far everyone has been nothing but supportive of him, in and out of his disguise. He was really just him holding onto old issues. But then… Shiki’s words echoed in his head. He could still hear them as if she was there saying it herself. ”So sad to think that your new friends are just taking advantage of you. Again.” Hearing this voice made that little part of his subconscious wake up. That Inner Donny who was much more confident, so cocksure, and so much more aggressive then Donny normally was. ”Fuck that shit dude. Fool me once and you're an idiot, fool me twice and you are one dense motherfucker. You've seen how the others reacted to those A2 guys. Already played the part of judge jury and executioner, and the worse that happened to them is Ezra getting clean up duty. You want to be on the opposite end of that? Be their bitch again? Man you came here to quit that nonsense! Get the fuck out of here!”

Donny’s inner voice was much more foul mouth than he'd ever be, mostly since he keeps that part of him tightly bottled up. Very rude after all. He didn't really looked at Mako as Donny slowly trudged back towards the kitchen. ”Y-Y-Yeah…” Was all he had to say in response to Mako’s encouragement, he knew she was trying to help, honestly give him advice to improve himself. But he just couldn't open himself up so soon and so easily. He didn't want to show them his heart, only for someone to break it. He just wanted to eat his dinner and go to bed.

Mako stood in the same spot after Donny returned to the kitchen, her smile intact, but an angry red vein appearing on her forehead the only changing her entire appearance. She marched straight back into the kitchen and stopped behind Donny. He’d feel the atmosphere, the tension weigh on his shoulders, of a woman scorned, and a supervillain at that.

”It’s not nice to walk away from a lady like that. I’m going to help with or without your consent, because you’re in the Hero class, and you’re going to become one. I’m going to start special classes with you, designed to get you thinking like a superhero, and to get comfortable in your own body. Let’s call it...Hero Psychology. Next Wednesday evening, at my classroom.” And with those parting words of...encouragement...?...Mako left the kitchen.

Donny just stood there staring into his beef bowls which were steaming up his classes. Apparently Donny was going to get a private tutoring session with Miss Mako. For any other boy this might have been something of pure fantasy, but for Donny had had no delusion of what this was and dreaded it. What was she going to teach him that Donny wasn’t suppose to already be learning with a whole school? Of course he’d be a hero. Eventually…

As Donny was about to eat his dinner right then and there Mamoru bursted into the kitchen. She said a bunch of things that all went over Donny’s head, but the next thing he knew he had a pan in a spatula in his hand and he was suppose to make dinner for everyone. He couldn’t even get a word in before she ran off and loudly declared that Donny was making dinner for everyone. Shanghaied into this nonsense, Donny wasn’t really sure what to do but look at the bowls and sigh. ”Soon…” He said as he went to go prepare some more steaks.

Jett Haven

Jett looked over to Kenichi and sighed. Yeah he did interrupt, but he couldn't fault him for it. He came at the sound of Fumika yelling. If he wasn't being such a self absorbed prick he would have recognized her in distress over this. The looks she gave him was enough to make him feel like he got sucker punched in the gut. This was definitely not how he wanted this to go.

He looked around at the crowd and kicked himself mentally some more. It was then Haruka apologized once and said she would tell him
Everything later, just not now. He closed his eyes and hung his head. He was such and idiot, it should have never gotten to this point. He looked up and saw Fumika pulling her away towards the dorm. He raised his hand to reach out for her but hesitated. Inside he didn't want her to leave… but his head knew that it would be better to leave them alone at this time and let her have her space. But he wasn't finished and he couldn't have Haruka end it with only her saying sorry.

He suddenly said “Wait!” Before he even realized he said it. Frightening himself with the fact he didn't know what he was going to say for a moment. But he used that time to catch up to them, looking at Haruka with a calm but sad look. So softly only she and Fumika could hear him. “I'm so sorry… for being an insensitive ass.” He half heartedly motioned to everyone around them. “ I didn't think, this is a private matter and I embarrassed you. That was not my intention...I am really sorry… I’ll give you your space now.”

He then looked to Fumika and said, I’m sorry for scaring you as well, I hope you can forgive me. He sighed and said to the three of them Forgive me again, I’ll leave you all alone so you can salvage your visit on a better note without me ruining it anymore. He said with a clearly forced pained smile. Fumika stared back with an unreadable expression on her face, but quickly turned her head and looked away without saying another word. Haruka gave a shaky nod and then followed suit. Of the three, ironically enough, it was only the one to whom he hadn’t said anything - the girl who looked a bit like a smaller, short-haired version of Fumika - who actually replied.

“Right. Apologies,” She said brusquely, giving a curt nod as if asking in turn for his forgiveness for overhearing. “Anyway, if you’ll excuse us…” She trailed off rather pointedly, and then followed after the others, leaving Jett on his own.

He turned and walked away, from the dorms, but not far from where Kasuke was standing. He wanted to scream in frustration, his head now flooding with the things he should have said instead...what he could have done to handle this better. If Haruka ever looked back at him at this moment, she would see him gripping the back of his neck and rubbing hard. A clear sign to those that knew him really well, that he was frustrated at himself.

He turned back as they walked away, and watched as Haruka limped along with Fumika… He really did hope she would talk to him again...he didn’t want their friendship to end on that bad of a note.

Suddenly Kasuke mentioned he needed to understand girls better. This only made him more angry as his eyes narrowed. Glancing over at her for only a moment. He didn’t say anything...he might regret it later. Apparently she needed to understand him better. That was not what he needed to hear at the moment. He just continued to watch them walk away hoping she would take the hint and change the subject...but she didn’t. She then asked him who she was and their history. He looked at her blankly for a moment. As if to convey the question Really? You want to ask that now?’

Looking away again he didn’t say anything for a minute, then quietly he said.

”She is... He hesitated as he thought about this argument, it very well could be was now. But he still hoped that wouldn’t be the case. My best friend. Since we were ten or so. At least I thought so... The pain was clear in his voice as he wondered why she didn’t him to see her like that. She had to know he would always be her friend no matter what. So he didn’t know why she would think he would be that shallow.

He could feel Kasuke staring at him, clearly his answer wasn’t enough.” We had plans to come to this school together and be hero’s together. Sort of a friendly rivalry but not really. She was amazing, gifted, funny if not a bit dorky.” he said with a hint of a smile remembering her antics when they were younger. ”Little rough around the social edges, bossy and a sassy. But I liked her anyway. She even helped me learn to effectively control my quirk... he trailed off as he sat down on a nearby bench. Remembering all the times she called him an idiot for not concentrating enough. Telling him he would never catch up to her if he didn’t try harder.

He reached up and fiddled with something that was under his shirt subconsciously. It sounded like a chain necklace. If Kasuke’s ears were good enough. His fingers rolled the item around through his shirt. It was something he usually did from time to time. He glanced over at the dorms as he heard Mamoru call everyone for dinner. He narrowed his eyes and wondered if Haruka would actually stay for it... if she did he rather not make her more uncomfortable by being there perhaps he would just go to his room or something.

Yashiro Michiko

Michiko smiled brightly at Donny. Hello Donny-kun, it’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Yashiro Michiko. Feel free to take a couple. She smiled even more when he took three and tried to play it cool by walking away. Takeshi certainly had some interesting fellow students.

She had noticed a few more walk in and head to their rooms, hopefully more would come down at the smell of cookies. Some left as well before even looking in the kitchen. Busy busy. She supposed she would probably be the same once she went into high school.

She turned back to Donny to ask what he was preparing but noticed a teacher come in, she was pretty, but she knew instantly who she was. She used to be Madame Obsidian, a renowned thief who turned her life around after going to prison becoming a secretary/teacher at this school. Takeshi mentioned her little trick in class and how mad he was at himself for being fooled by such a simple trick.

She instantly started talking to Donny and decided to not eavesdrop...despite her training. She was surprised though she never even looked over at Michiko. But she didn’t focus on that when another girl came walking slowly into the room. She noticed immediately something was different about her because of how she walked...like she was searching for things with her feet and hands (Though discreetly) while her eyes blankly stared forward. She must be blind! She was impressed how the girl managed her way to the counter where the cookies were. She must have some sharp senses. She gave a warm smile, despite her not seeing it when she said something smelled scrumptious and if she made them.

It’s nice to meet you Yozakura-kun, my name is Yashiro Michiko. she said sweetly, picking up a cookie she moved to her and took her hand gently, placing a cookie in it. You may have one of course, it is why I made them. It’s a house warming gift for my new dorm mates. “

”How was your first day?” She asked as she noticed Ms. Mako leaving, and hearing someone yell about dinner. oh!..sorry one second Yozakura-kun. she said placing a hand gently on her shoulder, as a finger in the air would not do for a blind person.

Looking to Donny she asked. ”Do you need help Donny-kun? I don't want you to make dinner for everyone by yourself… I know my way around the kitchen pretty well.

ACION

The trip back to school was considerably longer than usual. The route was pretty much the same, even shorter due to occasional shortcuts. But because there were so many things that left the winged-boy in a total mental mess to forget the sense of time. But eventually, the duo managed to get back to their place, their 'to be second home'. As they were walking back to the dorm, Acion noticed a certain commotion going on, but was soon dismissed by Mamoru's invitation to dinner, which was pretty much a large shout, mixed with her usual cheerfulness.

"Well, I guess we should not deny such invitations."

He turned to Roy, suggesting to go for it.

But Donny?

Acion didn't know he was doing this. Not that he denied that Donny was a good cook, but the fact that he was doing this for everyone made it quite weird. He definitely wasn't the confident type to host a dinner party. Or maybe he was just being the cook, while Mamoru, the energetic energy ball was the main character of the show. But to a normal person like Acion, it wouldn't hurt spending a few minutes there. It's a free dinner after all.

Acion ignored the commotion and instead headed upstairs, towards the kitchen, where he was at a few hours ago, at his more joyful state than this. There, he took notice of Michiko and Donny, who were cooking dinner, as much as he would expect. The girl was a good cook, so there would be no reasons why she should not be there.

"A pleasure to meet you again Michiko." He waved slightly, his voice notably less cheerful and prideful as the last time he met her. "And you as well Donny. It smells good. Didn't know you cook so well."

Kasuke Mina

Seeing Jett actually visibly annoyed by one of her barbs stopped Mina in her tracks. She might have gone too far there. Or this wasn't the right time. She didn't know. This was how she socialised in a school setting. It was icy barbs or pomp and formality. She didn't have a middle setting, and was regretting that right now. Furrowing her brow, she sighed an listened to Jett. She caught his pause but read it totally wrong. She didn't know he paused because of contention of the word 'is', so instead thought it was because of the word 'friend'. Was that girl something more to him and he had to think about it? Hearing the way he praised her and spoke of a long, close history didn't help this mindset either. It was very likely that Mina had just met the girl Jett likes. But then, why is he such a flirt? He did say he wasn't expecting to see her here.

What got into Mina's skin the most was that from both Jett's description, and seeing her in person, there were more than a fair few similarities between Haruka and herself. 'Was that why he took a liking to me?' Mina suddenly wandered, sitting besides him without thinking about it. She noticed him fiddling with a chain of some kind, and snapped out of her thoughts to ask him about it, in a softer and more weary voice than usual. "Is that necklace related to Haruka?"

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi smiles as a seat drop appears on her face. She's both fawning and a little bit terrified of this cute, scary roommate.
"I think the other bed was supposed to be mine anyway, so I'll just put my suitcases d-" she started, before stopping when Tomoe squished her fingers instead of shaking her hand and then snaked behind her and peeked up her skirt, getting a view of her panties, which were, in contrast to her cute exterior, were black lace.

"Kyaaaa!" The sheep exclaimed whilst pulling her skirt back down and bolting to the safety of her bed. Once she reached it, she stood on top of it and turned back to Tomoe, pouting looking a little cross. "I do not have a tail! Don't peek up my skirt again, you hentai!"

Donny was engrossed with cooking and fretting about how to make enough food for everyone. It'll take him at least thirty minutes before the steaks were ready since he needed them to marinate in the onion oils. Not to mention all that rice he needed to make too. And what about side dishes? He had nothing for side dishes! And what if everyone wanted cake? He could make a quick cheesecake as they ate dinner but he wouldn't be able to make more than maybe two, tops, if he balances out the ingredients.

”Dammit Mamoru, what did you get me into…”

As Donny was preemptively making fried rice he heard someone call out to him that caught him off guard. ”Buwa!” he turned around and was in a weird pose when he realized it was that girl, Yashiro Machiko. She made the cookies. Acion soon came in and seemed to be interested in the food. Donny looked between the two and had an idea. First he bowed his head to the both of them, deeply and from the waist. ”T-Thank you for your kind words! I'm s-s-sorry but I need your help, b-both of you!” Donny went over to his bags desperately looking for something but fortunately found it: a giant jar of pickles, two boxes of tempura mix, a jar of cheese, and mustard. He then picked up another bag containing what he needed for his special cheesecake, which including things like pecans, cookies and creams (aka Oreos), milk, cream, cream cheese, and lemon juice. Donny could only hope that there was already sugar and butter here.

”Acion-San, I need you to hollow out one end of these pickles and fry just the outsides with tempura batter. After that heat up the cheese sauce, mix with mustard, and fill the fried pickles with the mix. That'll be out side dish.” Donny left the pickle stuff on a nearby counter. He also took out a cutting board, a small knife, and a pot. Fortunately they had some peanut oil, which would have to do. Then he turned to Machiko. ”Yashiro-San I need you to make the cheese cake. My variant of cheesecake doesn't need to be baked, and the crust is made out of crushed cookies and pecans. But it does need to be refrigerated, it should take maybe thirty minutes to an hour if you do everything together.” For her Donny only found her two bowls, a spoon, a whisk, and a spare meat tenderizer. She'll need it to break the cookies and pecans.

Donny went to go put an apron on as he had a determined look on his face. He wasn't going to worry about anything else but dinner; he wasn't going to let them down. ”I need to make twenty more bowls of beef don. It's going to get crazy in here. It would really helpful if anyone who isn't going to cook would please leave. Perhaps take Yashiro-san’s cookies out as appetizers.” front his back pocket Donny took out something else; a white headband with the words “Success” written on it. Cracking his neck Donny got to cooking.

The peeking of Tomoe definitely made her guest jumpy. Tomoe didn't expect such a lively reaction from the sheep. The sheep had pulled her skirt away from Tomoe and made a run for it towards the bed. Tomoe stayed in the same position for a while longer seeming still quite flustered by the view she had.

Despites that she was a girl too so she doubted it would matter much for her to see such a thing but still. It definitly made Tomoe her heart raise. She was being called a pervert which somewhat hurted but she understood. Tomoe stood up looking a bit more reserve and normal now.

"You have cute underwear Hitomi-chan."

Tomoe spoke in a somewhat shy voice seemingly speaking from the heart and trying to lift the mood a little after her relentless action from just now. It was a bit awkward with the silence enveloping between them so maybe getting the sheep girl back at ease would help.

"Um, like. I don't talk casually with others a lot but like. We are roommates now so maybe getting to know each other better would be a good thing so um, I'll just ask a few questions I guess. What did you do before coming here? Do you have any hobbies? You have any necessities that I need to know?"

Tomoe walked a bit closer to Hitomi and sat down onto the side of Hitomi her bed while looking up at the still standing on her bed Hitomi. She looked genuinely interested in someone for once.

"We can be there and care for each other as roommates right?"

A sudden yell through the door made clear that there was some food available at the main area or something that one of the students was prepping for them. Maybe she should have a quick look soon. Tomoe gave a long tiring yawn while covering her mouth and spoke to herself for a sentence.

"Food would help me about now yea... Want to get some with me in a minute?"

Tomoe tilted her head in question at the sheep girl awaiting for her stamp of approval to get some food once they finish talking.

Jett Haven

Jett glanced at Kasuke suddenly as she asked about the necklace. He didn’t even realize he was playing with it. He looked down at it, through his shirt. ”Oh…this?” It wasn’t something he really showed anyone. Not to mention Kasuke. He didn’t know how she would react to him holding onto a piece of jewelry from another girl. He hesitated for a moment, realizing it was too late as she already some how managed to notice it. He unbuttoned his top button and pulling his tie down. He reached inside and pulled the necklace out and held it on his hand while it still hung from his neck. The chain itself showed major signs of wear. Revealing the cheap metal underneath the rubbed off silver finish. The Pendant was of a dragon wrapped around a plastic jewel that was oddly almost in the shape of a heart. Clearly it looked like it came from a crane game one would play with as a kid.

Jett smiled only slightly as he heard Haruka’s voice clearly in his head.

"A bunny?! What are you tryin' to get at?! I got you a dragon, so how come I have to be a bunny?!"

He took a breath and said, She won this from a little crane game, she gave it to me cause she didn’t like the color of the gem. Wore it ever since. It’s cheesy I know...but she worked so hard to get it in the first place.

He grew silent, before slipping it below his shirt again. A slight redness on his cheeks at the sound of the cheesy story that reached his own ears. It just seems to give me good luck… which makes sense...I wasn’t wearing it for the morning exercise when I got injured...

Sitting up he reached up and untied his tie, slipping it out from under the color and wrapped it around his hand till it was tight. He wanted to change the subject as he looked down at Kasuke’s feet noticing the running shoes and the fact he was still in uniform. Do you normally run in your school uniform?

Yukari Yozakura

Yukari took a bite from the cookie, tasking it's chunky sweetness. This was better then store brought cookies! Sure they weren't exactly made of exotic nuts or anything, but they were simple and sweet. Yukari helped herself to a few more, pinpointing their location with her nose and stretching her arm out to reach them. "These cookies are delicious! And my first day has gone pretty well. Aside from a few... Slip ups, Komei has treated me very nicely! Though I think people do take things around here a bit too seriously. But I guess that's just what's going to happen when you have so many teenagers with attitudes around each other. I hope after a while things calm down for us." Yukari had only heard rumors of some trouble happening during lunch. She didn't get the full details, only knowing that a couple of classes squared off against each other and someone got hurt. Yukari had been resting at the time so she wasn't anywhere near it, but she was certain if she was she'd try to put a stop to it.

Shortly after answering Michiko a loud girl came in to talk to someone who was cooking steaks. Yukari could recognize the dish by smell, and from what she heard the one doing the cooking was Donny. But the girl spoke so fast that Yukari was trying to listen very hard when suddenly there was very loud shouting. This pained Yukari's sensitive ears enough that she had to drop her cookie to cover her ears. "What in the world?" From what Yukari did manage to catch, apparently it was time for dinner. She could use some food after a long day and wondered if they needed help in the kitchen. She wasn't a very good chef but she was more than willing to help out however she could. That's when she heard someone else come in and Donny spoke to that person as well as Michiko. He asked them for their help and for anyone else to clear out the kitchen. Yukari was pretty sure she was the only other person around so she raised her hand. "I got the cookies! Don't worry, I can take them out to the dinning area."

Yukari picked up Michiko's cookies and headed out to the tables. She head the plate perfectly still on her finger tips, focusing all her senses in keeping it steady. She wasn't going to drop it this time, that was for certain. She wasn't going to let anything trip her up or run into her. And it wasn't long before she did reach the tables and gently placed the cookies down, safe and sound. Now she just needed to wait for others. Stealing a cookie for herself Yukari waited for more students to come in so she could direct them to Michiko's delicious treats.

Kasuke Mina

Jett's story was so unbelievably corny and cheesy, Mina couldn't suppress a little grin, in spite of the heartache she still did not know was heartache. She had no idea what this unpleasant feeling was, just that it was getting worse and she was trying to put it out of her mind. He did bring up his injury again, which prompted Mina's memory. She had forgotten that he was injured. She shouldn't have been as Icy just now...

When he mentioned her uniform, she looked down at herself, and back to him. "As long as I'm not sprinting or running distance, I can run in any clothing as long as I'm wearing good running shoes. Besides, if clothing restricts a Hero, they should either train until it doesn't, or never wear that kind of clothing in public again."

She would have actually gotten changed for a run if she wasn't in a hurry to catch up to JoJo. Speaking of, where was her roommate? Mina found her, looked at her and mouthed 'you alright?' at her, before tuning back to Jett, keeping JoJo in her vision, and asking him in a...caring voice; "Speaking of your injury, how do you feel now?"

@Aerandir@Noxx

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi squirmed and shifted her weight, blushing heavily when Tomoe called her underwear cute, and keeping her eyes on the floor. "I....I just like that it's so unlike me. Like, a kind of secret. I also sometimes wear metal band t-shirts under my woolen fleeces where nobody will ever see them. It's a guilty pleasure of mine," Hitomi answered, already feeling a little at ease now they weren't talking about her lace underwear. She relaxed more when she was asked normal questions, and was happy to answer them. Getting to know each other a little better would be nice.

"Before I came here I just helped look after the house while my Mom and Dad were at work. The first real time I was friends with a group of people my own age was last year, when I came to this academy. It's a lot of fun! Hobbies? I like to knit and sew. I like to cook. I like singing. That's all, really. Necessities...I don't think so. Just don't make too much of a mess. I like cleanliness."

Hitomi only now realised she was still standing on the bed, and sheepishly (Geddit?) got down and sat besides Tomoe. She smiled warmly at the other girl's question of being roommates, and out her arm around the other's shoulder. "Of course we can!"

When the shout for food sounded up, Hitomi realized she was also quite hungry, and nodded. "I could go for some food too. Wanna go now?"

Roy Kusayanagi

As the two reached the school they split off giving their short farewells, Roy decided to go to the gym and get a workout in. He frowned as he walked his thinking about how serious the hero business is. The pros make it look easy, they move fearlessly and their technique is flawless. It would seem as though they had been training all their life for that moment. One slip up and a life could of been lost today right in front of the boy. Roy looked down at his hands which were trembling now. He was surprised how quickly he moved to dress that boy's wounds not even noticing that he had gotten drenched in blood during the process. "Thank God" The anxious boy slapped his cheeks together to get a grip together on reality.

He reached the gym and his mouth dropped, Komei Academy had a state of the art training facility. It was one thing to see it through pictures and another to be physically in it. The tools on display, the training simulations, and even the weight lifting equipment had a broad selection. The boy saw a familiar figure inside lifting weights. He walked inside and soon came into view on the big Murrow reflecting on the weight lifting room. The boy sat on the floor and began stretching his legs, he had been sitting a while so a good waking of the limb was needed. "Sup big guy"

”Woah, that’s pretty cool. I thought blood doping was like a steroid or something, but now that you say that, it makes sense.” Kenichi’s explanation of his quirk was eye opening. The only reason he knew anything about lactic acid was because of watching an episode of The Magic School Bus where Ms. Frizzle was in a track competition and all her students had to help the oxygen clean the lactic acid from her muscles so she would win. He had no idea blood doping was basically overloading your system with oxygen to clean muscles faster. He wondered why that was bad for one’s body, but evidently it was, except for his adapted body.

He nearly laughed when Kenichi compared his quirk to fairies from an RPG. “Uugh, I guess it’s like fairies from The Legend of Zelda in that they are pretty useless in guiding you anywhere, and they’re pretty annoying too.”

”Hey!”

”Yeah, it’s just like that.”

”Sorry”

”Yeah, they all do have particular emotions. They can effect mine too if they’re being used.” He was pretty surprised at how he guessed that about his quirk. It was pretty common though, and they really fit inside of that idea. The multiple colors, personalities and powers all coaligned.

Kamina began to smell the cookies as Kenichi started teaching him about fitness. ”Ahh, got it.” He nodded and listened to everything Kenichi said, but he wasn’t sure he was ready to get that serious about fitness. To give up sweets would be terrible. If he was really going to get fit, he would basically have to eat proteins and replace sweets with fruits and vegetables. That did not sound ideal to him. Good exercise with a good eat-a-little-of-everything diet sounded like his kind of lifestyle. Hopefully, he could become a hero with that sort of lifestyle.

There was some sort of commotion going on as they left the building. It sounded like several people were involved. Kenichi seemed to know some of them. “Ah, yeah, I’ll just wait.” He didn’t want to interject on him to much. He was already working out with him.

It wasn’t long when a voice rang out declaring food. As tempting as it was, he wasn’t really hungry yet and wanted to just exercise for now. He walked over to the group. There were several students, teachers and some other people too. ”Hey, Yoshida, you still coming to the gym? I was just wondering if you were going to ditch for food instead.”

”Uhh, ok.”

The words were like wind blowing through his ears. He wasn’t given the time to react properly when Donny suddenly pushed him into the cooking position. And he wasn’t even able to reject when the guy poured out a bunch of ingredients and handed out instruction in a verbal manner so unlike him that Acion thought he was possessed by some sort of dark side of his personality.

Ok, now what?

”Hollow out the pickle?” He scratched his head, wondering what the hell did he mean by that. Hollow meant creating holes, so he meant holing the pickles, at one end.

”This is definitely advanced level of cooking.”

And what could Acion made? What had he ever made? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Aside from instant ramen, or occasionally handle the cooker for his mother. His only cooking experience aside from that was watching Master Chef, and that was nearly 5 years away. But at least he could remember a scene when the leader of the team won the final prize with his grand dishes. He couldn’t remember the exact name, but it was something relating to pickles, and he also hollowed it. Perhaps he could take that as references.

Firstly, Acion took the kitchen knife that Donny gave him, placed the pickles on the cutting board, and began the process. It should be going well when…

”Hmm, this knife sucks…”

It was a pretty old knife, used for so many times that it had become blunt. Unfortunately, he did not have a sharpener here, so he couldn’t really renew it.

’Come on, move!’

It was refusing to move to his will, so Acion began applying more forces, trying to impale it through the pickle. It continued to be stubborn, so again, he pushed it harder and harder, until…

”HNNNGG!!!”

…he stabbed himself.

His mouth and vocal cord was signaled to scream, but his brain stopped it at the last possible moment. The last.

Looking around to see that no one was paying attention, he checked his injuries. Oh good…thanks to the knife’s crappiness, it only managed to slice off a peel of his skin, barely making it into the blood vein.

”Ok, we’re alright, we’re alright…” He calmed himself down.

To hell with this knife…

Having decided that he had taken it enough, and would not let his hand be a jumbled mess of blood and tears, Acion decided to rip out the feathers on his wings, and used it as a substitute.

”Ok…”

It turned out pretty well…

The pickles, although did not look artistic, with several knife marks in places where it should not have been there, at least was hollowed. Now to add in the peanut oil in the pan. He had several times looked at his mother doing it back when he was still a primary schooler, and now he was going to imitate whatever he had in his memories.

But as it turned out, he poured maybe a little too much

”Ok, ok. This shouldn’t be too bad.”

Until the pan came on fire.

As an immediate response, Acion flinged all the pickles into the plate as if it was some sort of throwing objects. And as it turned out, the frying was completed! Literally…for some reasons…

Halfway through, but as the peanut oil was scattered everywhere in his workstation, he had to put another layer. This time with more care. The second part was the mix. He was to heat up the cheese sauce and get it heated before mixing it with mustard. It was simple, and so was the practice. He could have sworn it was the easiest among all.

But damned him if Acion was right.

He wasn’t paying attention when the pan started to make pepping sound. The mix was placed on too much heat that it was beginning to burn.

’Oh shit…’

He hastily took a pan and pried all the mix out.

”Ok, ok. It is not badly burned…Calm down, the process is over.”

He’s not doing this again…ever…

The next few minutes were spent to finish up the dish, and then the taste. Picking one of his products and took a bite of it. His head plummeted the moment after.

It was edible, and not too bad, mediocre to some standards. But comparing to what he had eaten, it was not at all a nice dish.

”I seriously need a cook of my life…”
