Takeshi made it back from the nurse’s before Ezra, It was convenient how close it was to their dorms. As he walked in, he made a beeline for the Kitchen but stopped when he noticed a Blonde girl standing with a short dark haired one with a prosthetic leg. He did not know who they were, but they were interesting. Were they both students here? If so, He would be impressed if the shorter one was. She must have an amazing quirk.

Though his attention did focus more on the blonde, as the rich brat was speaking with the shorter one. He cocked his head to the side, at first glance she did not seem to be one who was suited for fighting. She seemed somewhat unaware of her surroundings and honestly a bit confused. How was this girl in a hero course? This only intrigued him more.

He made his way past Kenichi and another girl who looked VERY similiar to the one he was walking to. It was clear she was a relative, perhaps a younger sister. He nodded his head to Kenchi as well as the girl as he said Excuse me. As he had to squeeze by them.

He made his way to Fumika, once in front of her, he placed a placed a hand on his bokken’s ‘blade’ just next to the handguard, which was in his sash, he then bowed his head to her then to Haruka, as she was standing next to her. “ Hello, My name is Yashiro Takeshi. I just transferred from A-3, I figured I would introduce myself, as you two seem to be the most interesting ones here. He gave a slight smile.

He said totally ignoring Kasuke on purpose. He then asked, Are you both in this class, or is one of you visiting?” It was clear the shorter one was visiting, but one never knew. They already had blind person in the hero course, who’s to say one with a prosthetic leg couldn’t?

He looked from Haruka and back to Fumika. Now that he was closer, he did notice one thing. She was quite cute. Even moreso with that tuff of hair sticking up on her head.

Kaida smiled at Yukari and blushed. Sorry I was a little distracted. Indeed she was. She glanced back to the stairs, wondering if Jett would really decide to come back down. She wish she could have done more… She glanced at Asuka and Haruka, Perhaps it was one of them? He didn’t seem keen on staying down here. And they were not wearing uniforms. As she thought about visiting with them, she noticed Mina and a tall boy with dark hair made their way to talk to them. He was in her class, that much she knew...she couldn’t remember his name though.

She looked over at Ayato ho had said hello to her...she knew he was in her class as well, and he knew her name but she didn’t know his. She only smiled and was thankful that Yukari mentioned his name. She followed them to the table, but didn’t say anything as it seemed Ayato was only interested in the cute girl with the cookies. She did notice the girl’s blank stare...was she blind?

Though she did laugh when the little sprites spoke. Awe they are so cute! she raised her hand as if to touch them, but hesitated...That could be extremely rude. Don’t be sorry… I find them adorable. She pulled out a chair for Yukari. Here take this seat.

Luelle smiled a little as she stood at the door with her roommate, Mamoru, as people continued to file into the large dining room that she worked hard on setting up. Growing anxious, she began to twiddle her hair between her fingers, giving her shy and cute smile. She looked up as a blonde haired male had walked in with another person she didn't know. Hearing his compliment about her kimono, she jumped and gave a bigger smile.

”Oh um thank you so much. Please have a seat and enjoy the food; there is plenty to go around. My name is Luelle Hailey and I am one of the new students” she said, giving an traditional bow. She watched as the male whispered something to Mamoru before he ventured further into the room. Luelle sighed as she looked around the room. It felt so strange being a new student and such, since the last time she was ever a new student in a school was when she was first started going to school.

’Now I know what it's like to be a new kid. I feel alone even in a room of people.’ She thought sadly, but she didn't let that get her down. She looked up at the den mother, Retha, her name was had come in and introduce her self. She was quiet taking in everything she had to say.

”I better keep my grades up then. That will be hard since I don't know much of anything” she muttered. She had noticed the rising temperature in the room, but she had been in hotter places in the US, so she gave not much of a reaction to it mentally and emotionally, though she couldn't say for physically as some sweat soaked through her kimono . She sighed and looked around wondering who she could try talking to first.

Walking up to her assigned table, she turned her head to a male that happen to be sitting there and she made the first move to introduce herself, ”Hello, my name is Luelle” she said shyly.

Roy Kusayanagi
Acion Nakamiji
Hitomi Maeda

After only a few minutes sitting down, Mamoru, as energetic as ever, had relocated him to somewhere else. To a table not so different from his former one, with four seats. Three of them were occupied. One for himself, one for Tomoe, the girl previously taking a bite of his own ‘masterpiece’ and one for Hitomi, the girl who kindly patched up his ‘battle wound’. Good grief to know. That he was seated with someone like two of them, who, despite dissing his cookings, was still kind of nice, unlike some. Not that he couldn’t put up with them, it was more comfortable this way. The last seat was empty. Acion did not know whether it was intentional or not, but hopefully the fourth guest would be the same.

He sat down, feeling a little bit better. Yet, the aura didn’t vanish completely.

Hitomi had chuckled at Mamoru’s compliments to her, and blushed when her roommate implied Acion was her boyfriend. Hitomi didn’t even answer that question and just gave a look to Tomoe that said ‘Really? You’re doing this here?’  Turning to Acion and chuckling sheepishy, she broke the ice by saying; ”Don’t mind my roommate. She’s just teasing!”

Tomoe gave a cute giggle while brushing the back of her head with her hand as if she was unknowing to what she had said.

Tomoe soon after arriving at the table implied that Acion and Hitomi were hooked up. The winged boy was pretty much frozen by the sudden statement. What? Ok, he was with her, but that didn’t mean he was ‘with’ her.

”No, no. We are not.”

But thankfully, before any possible misunderstanding could be sparked, Hitomi was already apologizing, kindly.

”Uhh, it’s fine. I harbor no ill-intention against that.”

She was being a lit more kind than he expected. The girl then suddenly took an unexpected course of action, which was to latch straight onto Roy. To most people, with common senses, the scene was rather weird to witness, but to the winged boy, it was...nostalgic. For a moment, he was taken back. Many, many years ago, when all of this hadn’t even started to form.

”Nee-san! I don’t want to go out! It’s cold! I want to stay home and be by your side!”

Acion gave a smile to Roy, but partly because he was contemplating on something else instead. But nevertheless, he was also curious. She said ‘long time no see’. So as it turned out, Roy apparently knew this small girl over here. And cute as well. Kind of suspicious...

”I’m ok. You two seems to be close. Do you guys know each other before we’re here?”

Roy turned back to Acion with a small smile, “Yeah we do. Me and Tomoe were in the same children's hospital way back” he put his hand on his chin trying to think. “About 5-6 years ago, it's some reunion to have from going to your worst physical condition to one where you can fulfill your goals” he said smirking back. He winced once more as the girl squeezed him, before turning back to Acion.

“I Don't think I told you yet about what exactly was wrong with me in the past. Now is a good time as any if you want me to explain..that is if it is alright with her as well” Roy said looking over at Hitomi.

”Hospital?”

That’s a little...unexpected.

”I would like to hear about that as well…”

”Me too, but Tomoe-chan! You didn’t tell me you went to hospital either!” Hitomi exclaimed.

Tomoe opened her mouth and gave a wide yawn looking exponentially more drowsy as minutes passed by. Her head was starting to droop as she seemed more interesting in eating then listening to the conversation the others were having, stories about her and Roy back in the hospital went right past her head. Tomoe picked up a piece of meat with her chopsticks and dragged it towards her mouth where she started softly chewing the meat. After gulping down the meat she heard the sheep girl call out to her in which she turned her head to the girl giving her a drowsy but happy smile. Without a word she nodded her head twice before turning back to eating another piece of meat.

Tomoe felt too tired to eat anymore so instead lowered her head to the table dropping one of her bangs in her food and closed her eyes sleeping almost instantly. Her arms were hanging from her body while her head supported the rest of her body from falling from the stairs, she softly panted while the rest of the conversation continued.

The Boy smiled and made his way over to a seat next to Acion, he slowly but surely sat down jumping a bit from shocks of pain. Once he finally sat in the chair he took a deep sigh.. “Well remember how during the exercise I told you I can make things from stored sunlight, well the repercussion of that is the more energy I have…” He said looking at Acion.

“My body heat rises exponentially the more energy I have, a double edged sword perhaps. Prior to Pre-K I was fine but as soon as my quirk manifested that was when the health problems came. My younger body was unable to withstand the physical stress of my quirk. On top of that I didn’t know how to release the energy that I stored up so it added onto the problem. I was pretty prone to dehydration and other heat related illnesses, I got pretty much nearly every heat related problem except a heat-stroke” He chuckled a bit.

“Thank God” If he had suffered a heat stroke, most likely would it have irreversible effects on him.

“Fast forward a few years of physical therapy and hard work I was able to grasp some control on my quirk. It was a matter of sink or swim to me. I Met Tomoe back then who was a sleepaholic, it kind of made me a little mad why she chose to sleep so much instead of enjoy life. I would often go to check on her but she would be in deep slumber most of the time. When she was awake we would have fun. Tomoe was one of the few people I enjoyed seeing in the hospital because she was generally at inner peace somewhat. Though she would sometimes invade my personal space without permission, and often forgot about my abnormal body temperatures.”

“I spent my time just watching heroes go out and make the world a safer place. Kinda sparked something in me to get better as well. Though when you're in the hospital for so long you see people go in and out whether it's the appropriate way or unfavorable way. The patients do not necessarily have someone to look up to so I decided I want to be that person. I know the infuriating odds they were dealt, I seen it with my own eyes, and felt it with my own body. So it is pretty cool that I can attend a top hero school with someone I once knew.” He said with a small grin turning to Acion.

“I am able to carry out a normal life now so don’t treat me any different, or i’ll have to hurtcha” Roy concluded to everyone at the table, as he pounded his left fist into his right hand before surrendering to the pain. You could see his eyes get a bit watery.

As Roy was explaining, to Acion’s eyes, he wasn’t seeing just the blonde, or Tomoe latching onto him, but a picture of himself overlapping the guy’s image. A picture of his own self, acting and motioning just like Roy. Even the hand movements, the lips speaking just like him. And the sorrow of his early life.

And that was when he realized…

Roy was nothing different from Acion.

There were significant differences, but after drawing all the comparison, one could see its similarity. Roy had great problems with his quirks when he was little. Him being hospitalized because he was unable to control his quirks. Acion being grounded for nine years because he was also unable to control his own quirks. Roy admiring other heroes, Acion aspiring to be like them, even better than them. And most importantly, the two had gotten over their issues with their own strength. With their own power.

And he spoke like it was nothing. Like it was just a regular story, even chuckling and grinning at Acion. It brought him into thoughts

The winged boy reflected the life he had gone through. What he had done. And what he had become.

Wasn’t he once the boy who never gave in to failures? The one who had crashed so many times in his own self-designed self-training that he could not count the number of crashes he had, or the scars he inflicted upon himself. And the number of self-encouragement of ‘I would succeed this time!’ that he said. And now, only after a mistake that he was falling into depressions. How ironic can that be?

He had tried, he had failed, and he had improved. To the point that he had moved from being a total loser to a champion of air combat, and one of the powerful students in middle school. And it was that that had changed him. He had moved so far in such a little time, succeeded times to times that he soon lost the ability to feel humility of failing. And now that reality was giving him a reminder of that…

What the hell had he become?

As he was being drifted away, silently, the sound of Roy’s fist hitting onto his palm knocked him back to his sense. And the watery eyes brought a realization that the winged boy needed.

”Roy.” He said, as he reached out a hand for his shoulder. But when he already got to it, he started pausing, considering that to say. ”I believe for everything you do, you’ll have one ally behind your back.” Acion then spoke, indicating himself. Not very meaningful, but probably ok.

He did, after all, deserve it.

Roy smirked back at Acion before making a dopey face to his last remark. “Yep, my mother of course” Roy said smiling, soon a piping hot bowl of beef udon made way to him and you could see the excitement in his face. Soon he went blank then slightly depressed realizing that the hand he usually ate with was inoperable. He picked up some chopsticks with his left hand and struggled to eat the beef udon. Every attempt was a failure at picking up the beef. You could see the frustration forming.

Roy stabbed the beef with his chopstick ate a slice in one bite before remembering where he was once more. His face turning a light red, he turned over to the sheep girl.

“I don't believe we have met miss, I am Roy Kusayanagi. It is nice to meet you” he said with a smile.

“Hi!” Hitomi smiled back. “I’m Hitomi. You’re the support student who was transferred to the Hero class, aren’t you? I’m in the support class, but second year. I don’t really have any inspiring stories, I’m afraid. I had a fairly uneventful childhood. My quirk was expected and besides hair trouble and getting into clothes, has been easy to live with. The only unconventional thing about my past was that I looked after the house, did all the cleaning and cooked for myself and my parents, but they were busy with their jobs and I still enjoyed myself.”

Roy smirked a bit, guess news travels fast about a transfer into the hero course. He stabbed another piece of meat and ate it. She seemed pretty harmless overall. He was a bit flustered at the fact she openly compared her childhood to his. He chewed a bit and his face lit up at realizing how the food got better with every taste. Roy sealed then made a remark to her statement.

“As long as you have the will to make the world a better place. You're a hero in the making In my book.” After taking a look at the girl In front of him...she was quite adorable.

“With that fur you must be pretty comfy during the winter season.” He shook his head in disagreement, “I used to love the winter but now I despise it. The sun isn't out as long and I get terribly cold “ he said fighting to grab some rice from the bottom of the bowl with the chopstick.

“That’s a nice, sentiment, but I’m not sure I want to be a Hero. I’m scared the fame would change me, or stop me being so close to me family. Besides, I’ve already planned out my future; I want to finish the support course, then get an internship that one of the costume-making companies. And yes,” She smiled, getting shy. ”I like the winter. I prefer it to summer because my hair grows too long and I have to pay a lot to get it cut or my head gets too hot.”

”Uhh…”

He didn’t catch onto his statement…

Oh well, no matter.

The conversation evolved into another topic after Hitomi joins. And its whether about winter or summer preferences.

”For me, I also like summer, but winter is probably the most productive time of the year. Practices. I am used to flying under the snow, for the sake of hardening my ability to withstand coldness. You can feel it if you go through it.” Acion placed his hand next to Roy and Hitomi, the palm face down, for them to touch. ”Doesn’t look like it, but my skin is harder than most.”

Roy had his last straw with the chopsticks, setting them aside. He did what he should have done a long time ago, making a spoon construct he took a big scoop of rice. He was in his own world as he enjoyed the meal scoop after scoop. Acion broke trance with his arm popping up next to the boy. Saying he preferred the winter. Roy raised an eyebrow as he inspected the boys hand.

“Looks pretty well maintained too me, looks like you had a lot of manicures.” He said teasing the boy as he stuck another spoon in his mouth.

A small vein popped on Acion’s face at that.

’This guy…’

He was doing this on purpose wasn’t he?

Fine. He had had enough of this. As a result of this back-and-forth, he had absolutely nothing in his stomach. And his ‘great friend’ over here was stealing all of it. But he would not let the others take it as well. He grabbed a chopstick and began to grab a piece of meat for himself as well. Hitomi had been taking small mouthfuls during the entire conversation, however, so by the time the boys started fighting for food, she’s already had her fill. Plus that would go some way in explaining why there was so little food left. With the tips of the chopsticks in her mouth, she watched on as Acion wolfed food down.

Ayato Kamina

Joy really liked being called aborable. She didn’t mind touching either. The purple glow fluttered to Kaida’s shoulder and sat on it. The feeling was probably akin to a feather landing on her. ”Thank you, at least someone appreciates us.” The little woman announced in a backbiting tone. ”You’re pretty cute too. I love your highlights.”

Ayato glanced at Kaida and Joy. ”Ha, thanks”, he wasn’t as sure how to take his quirk being called adorable.

He was pretty interested in hearing what Yukari had to say though. It was pretty amazing she could do everything just from her other senses. She was practically superhuman even without a quirk. Respect thought this was very cool too. ”Wow! That is amazing. I bet Ayato could do something like that with Peace’s help. She boosts senses, but he would probably have to practice more.”

”It really would be nice to practice more. You seem pretty calm. I’m sure it would feel wonderful inside of you.”

”Not right now!” Kamina exclaimed, nearly interrupting her. ”They’re right though. It’s pretty cool you can sense everything so well. I guess we forgot about them when eyes do so much for us.” He had finished his cookie and started eating the fried pickles. Everything was so good. With students cooking like this everyday, he might even get fat. ”Oh, those two are Respect and Peace, and she’s Joy.” He said pointing at them respectively and speaking in the direction of Yukari or Kaida.

Ezra

Ezra had been sitting down for a while waiting for the cake to come when he had come of a thought of his own. What was going to happen tomorrow. It had not dawned on him that he had not sat in his correct place, but rather in another girls but as she had not spoken to him yet he had failed to notice as he wondered what was going to happen tomorrow. The day had been long and he had no idea what they could possibly do tommorow that could top today in terms of action. He felt like he'd been through an entire year of school after today with what had happened.

His thought train was interrupted as he came to his senses when spoken to. A rather cute girl in a kimono with different coloured eyes had decided to greet him, and it was easy to see that she was shy in this situation. Whilst he wasn't the most confident around women himself, it was easier if they weren't socially pressuring so he figured he'd take the lead in this scenario.

"Hey. I'm Ezra. I don't remember you being in the training exercise, are ya in another class?" he spoke earnestly, not knowing as to why Luelle was not there.

”Ah, yes I am in a different class than you. I am in quirk applications actually” Luelle said with a smile on her lips. Her heterochromia eyes looked briefly into his eyes before dropping to her lap. ”I hope we can be friends.” Shifting in her seat, she looked around the table and saw the others were simply talking and stuff. It seemed so easy for them, but for Luelle, it was tough.

[color=29B6F6]”So what grade or year are you in”[/coor] she asked, forgetting she wasn't in Alaska anymore, japanese people did years instead of grades for their schools. It seemed odd to Luelle but she was getting the hang of it. ”I am a first year here”

Asuka blinked as the boy explained how he'd come to meet her sister. They'd fought each other, and on the very first day? She rubbed her forehead and shook her head to herself. She couldn't imagine that ending any way but her sister getting her ass handed to her on a platter. She immediately began to re-evaluate her opinions of this boy's personality. Probably, it wasn't just because of Fumika's appearance, but rather because he'd felt guilty about winning. But as he went on, Asuka couldn't help but be surprised.

"'The timid type?'" She parroted back, and one could practically hear the air quotes. "It's not that. She just ignores anyone she doesn't feel like dealing with, cause they're 'not worth her time,' or something like that. Honestly, it's childish and stupid." The younger Motome scratched her head with a frown. Indeed, that was always the way it had been, but even so... Seeing this strangely dedicated boy made her almost want to doubt herself. Oh my god, he's even blushing. Just what did sis do to catch the eye of a guy like this?! However, while thinking these sorts of things, she couldn't help but realize something that made her almost feel sorry for the kid. After all...

"If you don't believe me, didn't she just run off back there without saying anything to you? Even though you went out of your way to help her, you just got totally ignored, didn't you?" She sighed with a shrug. "Don't take it personally, though. She's like that to everybody. I mean, I'm her sister, and she doesn't even talk to me if she can help it."

Even despite her attempts to warn him, though, the boy didn't seem any more inclined to listen than Fumika herself, and just pressed on with his questions, like asking if she was alright. How the hell was she supposed to know that? She could never tell what her sister was thinking, after all. And yet, actually, from the way he spoke, it almost seemed like...

"Wait, you can actually tell stuff like that?" Asuka blinked, seeming almost to disbelieve what she was hearing. "I mean, I guess her hair does tend to move around a little bit depending on what she's doing, but most of the time I've seen it, it just sort of hangs there, or lies flat." Or at least, that was usually the case... But it had been different when Fumika had seen Harukaze at the gate earlier, right? She'd seemed a lot more energetic than usual, but then had gone right back to normal when the fight happened... Then did that mean that this boy had figured out something she'd missed? What if...

Her surprise only grew when she heard about what had happened at lunch. Her sister - the arrogant girl who never paid anyone else any heed, had sat patiently and pathetically waiting for someone based on a misconception? She supposed that if anyone could be that oblivious, it would be her, but... But why did she care? Why was she so desperate for this boy's company? Why was it so different from how she treated everyone else - from how she treated her own sister?

She took a deep breath and shook her head. This changed everything. She'd entered this conversation with the intention of warning this boy away, but... It seemed like maybe, her original interpretations of both his and her sister's behavior towards one another might have been mistaken.

"So you already know about Harukaze-san, then. Right..." She cleared her throat. This was a pretty awkward thing to have to explain to somebody else, considering it wasn't any of her business, but... "I don't know much about what happened out there, to be honest. Looks like Harukaze-san and that blonde boy she was fighting with know each other somehow - or used to. I guess she lied about her accident to him and he got mad about it, or something like that. Seemed like Sis knew him too, though - otherwise, I can't see why she'd ever get involved in a nasty argument like that." She shook her head. "But that's neither here nor there. You'll have to forgive me for what I said earlier, but what you just told me has changed my mind. I don't know why you're special, but sis might not actually be ignoring you like I thought. I wish I could offer more than just that, but... Well, I've never really been able to get what goes on inside her head."

She took a step back and cocked her head slightly to one side with a sudden, sly grin. It wasn't really her business to meddle in stuff like this, but it wasn't like Fumika'd take any steps herself, so somebody had to do it for her.

"Well, whatever. If that's how it is, I guess it's fine. Who knows? Someone like you might be exactly the wake-up call that dense girl needs. In any case, I guess I don't mind you hanging around her, provided you're willing to put up with her... attitude." With this, Asuka turned to follow the others, although she glanced back to see if Yoshida was actually going to follow.

Of course, there was absolutely no way that idiot could actually live up to whatever this kid expected of her, and there was even less chance that he'd be able to keep her interest for long. She'd probably just get all proud and puffed up, taking it for granted that he'd fawn on her, then end up getting her hopes shattered when he inevitably got fed up and left. It would be a rude awakening to the real world, one that would finally take her stupid pride down a peg. Maybe then she'd finally stop being so insufferable. And really, it would be for her own good if she did! And, on the off-chance that it did work out between them, she'd still have to come down off her high horse and actually interact with other people. Either way, this was what was best for her stupid sister, even if she didn't realize it for herself.

So, telling herself this, Asuka proceeded in her little scheme.

Haruka raised her gloomy gaze from the ground, her countenance hardening into a stone cold poker face in an instant as she realized someone - no, two someones were addressing her. Evidently, these were some of the people who'd been present for her rather unseemly squabble outside. Haruka sighed. The girl seemed more focused on Haruka herself, and as such, probably wanted some kind of explanation for what had happened - an insatiable curiosity without regards for how Haruka herself felt. Honestly, she wanted to just send her packing, but given that she was here visiting Fumika, she had to be on her best behavior from now on. She didn't want any rumors going around about her best friend just because she herself had been insufferable.

"Harukaze Haruka," She muttered out an introduction, giving an awkward attempt at a handshake while leaning heavily on her crutch. "I'm not a student here, obviously, so you don't need to bother yourself with remembering it," She said icily, a wry, mirthless smirk forming on her lips for a single instant before shattering. She sighed and looked away. It was best to just get to the point already.

"There something you needed, or what?" She asked, sounding nothing quite so much as she simply sounded... tired.

Fumika didn't so much "jump" as "freeze" when the voice spoke up from behind her, and even that descriptor wasn't entirely accurate, as her fluffy antenna of hair twitched bolt upright as if in mimicry of her own sudden rigid posture, then slowly seemed to deflate, wobbling a little and then curling over again. Turning around, she tilted her head a little bit to the side in bemusement. Why was somebody talking to her all of a sudden? It wasn't Jett, or Yoshida, or anyone else she knew - which made her feel kind of sad. But then she remembered that since she didn't know this person, it was quite strange that he'd just suddenly begin talking to her, and realized that she should have felt confused instead.

He introduced himself, and explained his situation. So he was from a different class, but now he was in their class. She remembered the mean Yoshida saying something like that to the shiny boy who'd fought the shiny girl over Point A after the nice Yoshida had beaten her. It seemed like classes weren't quite set in stone yet, so it probably wasn't weird that new people were joining all the time, even though it seemed kind of weird to her anyway, since the only person who'd ever transferred into her class back home was Haruka, and that had been a special occasion. But although they both had black hair, he didn't really resemble Haruka at all, because she was small and fast and he was really, really tall. Why were so many of the students here so tall? There was the huge man who wasn't a tree who'd talked to her in class, and Jett was pretty tall too, and the big girl who'd come through the window, and now there was this person, too. Then again, not everyone was tall, she supposed. Yoshida was short and cute, and his hair was fluffy.

Oh. Right. There was someone talking to her, but she'd just been staring blankly at his face for a while now. People usually got mad when she did that. Let's see... he'd introduced himself, and asked a question, in that order. So, she needed to tell him her name and then answer.

"Motome Fumika is in 1-A." No, wait, that didn't come out right. "That is, Motome Fumika is me. And I'm in class 1-A." Now, there was something else... Right, right. "Nice to meet you," She recited, giving a surprisingly deep bow, but overestimating the distance between herself and the person she was speaking to, such that the fluffed up tuft of hair sticking up from her head bapped him across the nose both as she lowered her head and as she raised it. If she noticed, she didn't indicate it, as her focus was on something else - the wooden sword he was holding at his side.

"Are you a ninja? Or a samurai? Or a samurai-ninja?" She asked, gazing up at him quite suddenly with almost childlike awe.

Acion Nakamiji
Aurelia Nakamiji

The sky had turned red before she realized it. The radiant sunlight of dusk peered into the small glass window of the young female hero’s office as she quickly finished her paperwork for the workplace rental. She wasn’t usually this focused on her job, but rather preferred to take it loose and engulf herself into the night. But today, there was one particular thing that she had to do, had to prioritize over anything.

The papers were finally finished, as Aurelia clicked on the tip of the ball-point pen and literally threw it on the desk where she worked. Stretching her lower back loudly, she obviously had been adopting to this a little bit too much, detrimentally. After all, the Sky Knight’s specialty was more of larger-scaled threats. And not every villain out there were planning to take over the world or extinguish humanity. In fact, those villains that young children usually see on the TV screens were among the rarest of all villains. Crimes now took place at a much smaller scale, and with a lot more difficulties in tracking them. As a result, one who thought that her hero group was a place of excitement of adventure were horribly wrong. In truth, the life of a ‘Sky Knight’ is a constant period of patrols and routined activities, even boredom, with only brief intervals of challenge and danger. Villains seldom act like how they usually do on some Hollywood blockbusters. It was the heroes that must become a hunter, searching and investigating with craft and patience. Successes were often achieved by a confluence of small things: stray facts, overheard conversations and careless small evidence. Only that would the routine be broken by combat.

Now that she had her entire evening schedule emptied, she immediately set off to where her home used to belong. Her second home. After leaving a note notifying her colleagues her whereabouts, she walked to the windows. And from her back, a pair of soft and beautiful white wings slowly spread out, growing steadily in size. The same pair of wings that had carried her through thousands of winds. Reaching her most powerful length, three meters long each, her back muscles began to unleash its magic. The wings flapped, up and down, up and down, gradually but powerfully, with the strength of a hundred men. Her figure looked no different from a guardian angel, preparing to soar through the sky with finesse and grace.

And finally, she took off. The movements that she had practiced for so long, and for so many times felt so light and intuitive. After a second gaining her momentum, she rotated her body, letting the physics do the work, as she turned westward, towards Komei’s Hero Academy. It was far, for a normal commuter, but was near enough for Aurelia, for she had her ability, and the privileges to use it. If she were flying this freely just three years ago, if caught, she would be fined pretty harsh for it. And with all honesty, she thought that the rule to forbade people from using quirks in public is…stupid. Of course, the likelihood of criminal activities, and perhaps some foolish daredevils making a ruckus out in the open, would increase as a result, but this would restrict a lot of services and practices that would benefit society. And if criminal activities increases, what were hero’s groups for? There were dozens of these organizations out there who were looking for a chance to prove themselves, and yet they were rotting in some places out there. Hero’s Academy produces heroes, but the output was simply too much. They simply admitted too many students. This had been something that Aurelia had also been debating, sometimes petitioning the court for it, but didn’t really produce any results.

But for now, it didn’t matter, as the school had come into her sight.

’He’s at dorm 1. If my memories do not fail me…’

She immediately turned to her right, her adjusting her rear feathers so that the airflow would make her body automatically move naturally. Approaching the dorm, the ‘Sky Defender’ landed gracefully onto the hallway of the dorm, the second floor. Figuring that Acion would be having dinner around this time, as he was already used to at home, she headed downstairs to the general dining room, to witness a crowd of students massing at tables, wolfing down their food and happily chatting with their dorm members. And they were all hero students, all bright and promising. For a moment, she was slightly taken away by the feeling that she used to be one of them. Time passed so quickly

Aurelia gazed around the room, noticing the dorm mother, Retha, whom she personality really adored. If Komei was Aurelia’s second home, then Retha would definitely be her mother. She’s kind, warm-hearted and motherly. Her trainings were a little bit excessive though; Aurelia still had PTSD about it, but knowing that she did so because she recognized the girl as a student with great potential, and hoped with her whole heart that she would succeed made Aurelia feel even more thankful. And a part of her feel proud to be standing here, with the infamy of achievements behind her back, and gladly inform her that her dear ‘daughter’ had succeeded. She would definitely be happy. But since her main purpose here would be to talk to Acion, she would have to wait. Nevertheless, she gave Retha a hello wave with a smile, being persistent until the dorm mother had noticed her, before approaching Acion.

”Sister?”

Acion’s face was a definition of surprise, with a little glimpse of fear and nervousness, as the person who had inherently raged right onto his ear a few hours ago were there, without his knowledge.

”Sorry guys, if I interrupt your conversation. Acion, do you mind if we have a walk outside?”

”Of course…” His voice was a bit uncertain, but went for it anyway as the two left the dining room and walked down the hallway.

”You probably have already guessed what I am going to talk to me.”

”The incident earlier today, right?”

”Precisely.”

”You see, I wasn’t intending to-”

”I know.” Aurelia said, as she turned to look at her younger brother in the eyes. ”I know that you honestly want to take out that guy, and get the boy out of there. I know that, because that is in your blood. You have that blood of a hero, that is the most important thing, because it places you on top of everybody else.”

”But I failed to- Acion was about to speak, as Aurelia placed her finger on his lips.

”Yes you did, but can you expect him to still be conscious and has a gun hidden? When I think about it, even I might not be able to anticipate it.” She said, with a gentle and sisterly tone. ”No humans can anticipate everything that happens around us, and no contingency would be able to fully compensate for it. So you can simply boil it down to simply your luck being very dark at that moment.”

Acion bit his lips as he looked away. It was true. After all considerations, the words were pretty much right...And yet, he didn’t feel anymore better. It was still painful. To see that the boy, who should have been with his family right now, was probably in a hospital, full of medical equipment attached onto him, probably motionless and had to to be fed. It pained him just by thinking about it.

”You know what, let me tell you a story…” Aurelia said, noticing the sorrow. ”It dates back to the first year after I get into the pro hero league, and a few months after establishing Sky Knight. At the time, there were less members than we do now. Only Albert, Forte, myself and one more. He used to be a close friend of mine, along side those two.”

”That’s nice.” Acion said, noticing the weird touch in her speech. ”And used to?”

Aurelia inclined her head; her eyes became glassy and transparent, as the sorrow and pain of those time resurfaced to eat her heart once again.

”Used to, because…” She had to take a moment to prepare herself, not for Acion, but against her own painful memory. ”He died on a patrol mission.”

”Died?” Acion was genuinely surprised. ”What happened?”

He instantly regretted his decisions to ask her, but the question had already slipped.

”He ran into the Sword Saint.” She said, as her eyes became more and more distant. ”He was the one of the most notorious criminal of the time, having killed countless heroes before. And his presence in the region placed the entirety of the hero groups into high alert and standby position.”

She said, her head hung lower by the time, her eyes fixed firmly on the ground.

”On that day, all of us sorted out on a mission to search for clues and evidence, just basically scanning around the area for anything. And he voted to take the outskirt region, which was one of the most dangerous place. Albert and Forte protested against going alone, but since I thought it was merely a patrol and scouting mission, I accepted his proposal. He also seemed very determined about it, so I just let him go, without much consideration.” She said.

”Hours later, we receive an emergency distress call from him. But as we were rushing towards the sight, the communication line suddenly went completely silent. I already had a really bad feeling at that moment, but deeply in my heart, and everybody else’s, I still hoped that he was still ok.”

”As time passed by, I became more and more worried, but still believed he was alive and fighting. Scenarios began to play out in my mind of how the com link could be shut off during the fight. Some were very silly, but it was because I dearly hoped that he was still well…But all my hopes were betrayed.”

Acion now noticed a line of tear coming down her left eyes. And another one, coming from her right. It really discomforted him to see his sister like this, but what could he possibly say here that was appropriate? It was uncomfortable, but he let her finish her story.

”By the time the three of us reach his destination, there was nothing left. No sight of the villain, no trace of the escape route. Only his lifeless body remained.” Aurelia continued, the resentment had reached her climax.

”And was he caught?”

Aurelia shook her head lightly. ”Still out there, still killing people.”

”That night, I locked myself inside my room, and cried for hours. Cried until the fatigue and the darkness of the night consume me, cried until I could not cry anymore. The following day I couldn’t bring myself to work, because the guilt was overwhelming me, about my decisions that brought him his doom and how I wish I could reverse the hours of the day back and stop him. But the reality was there. He was dead, and there was nothing that can be done...”

Aurelia finally finished, as she raised her hand to wipe the tears from her eyes. And the winged boy was silently watching. It was truly a tragic story. He was Aurelia’s friends, along with Albert and Forte. The quartet had studied at Komei together, had endured through high school lives, had fought together and had been through countless joy and sorrow together. They moved on to work together, and lived the working life together as one. Honestly, one wouldn’t be blamed if he or she would imagine them grow old together, have kids and watch them grow up as well, playing together, like in any fairy tale. But reality was cruel. One mistake and that innocent dream had been ripped into pieces, and the bond of friendship that they had solidly built with theie whole heart now had a hole that could never ever be mended, or refilled. Acion stared at her, as the story, her sorrow, her tears had opened something in him. A realization.

Aurelia turned to look at Acion, her eyes gazed into his with sympathy and compassion, drawing the line for him to go.

”You’ve heard it and seen it. I also did not anticipate that he would run into him. However, I knew that the area was dangerous, but I let him go anyway. And the price for it was a lot more dear than your scenario. While the boy is only someone you just met, in my case he is my best friend for years, and I have to bear the guilt in front of both myself and his family as well. Sure, they weren’t cynical like some, but the feeling like they are resenting you was there. And it hurt.”

He couldn’t believe it.

”What I want to say from the story, you see, is that no one is immune from failure.” Aurelia said, as the door slowly opened for her little brother. ”Even when you reach the league of professional heroes, you will still fail from time to time. You can’t be infallible. And what is most important for a hero is to never dwell on it. You let the memories of your failure to show you the errors of your way, but never let it eat on your heart or your mind. Because there is no use in that. I despise failure as well, but its equivalent in many cases isn’t the end, or that you would fail again and again. I know that because…”

She continued staring into him, pausing a bit to let the words sink, before finishing.

”...because I know you will not let yourself fail again.”

And that was it.

He had walked into the light.

Acion listened to his sister’s words as if it was the words on an angel. To be honest, if he had looked at it more poetically, his big sister may actually be an angel in disguise. There was a little irony, since Acion usually perceive her sister to usually be quite childish, hot-headed and a bit rash, and the winged boy himself was usually the more even-tempered older brother type, but after hearing her words, he couldn’t help contemplating how wrong he had been. She was a lot more mature than he was, and even after all the differences in appearance and actions, she still proved to have more life experience and wisdom than he did, and have been through a lot more than him. And this made everything he had believed in so far felt nothing different from an immature and irrational perception of a child.

It was clear, in the end, Aurelia was the older sibling, and Acion was the younger one.

”Now this is really embarrassing…” Acion said. ”I really hadn’t thought that you would be this way.”

Aurelia’s expression turned drastically. Negatively.

”Huh?! Then what exactly do you think I usually act?” She had returned to her normal self, as she glared at him.

”Not that way…” Acion said, noticing the aura from her glare.

”Your answer doesn’t make any sense! Let me guess, it’s father who told you about me, didn’t you?”

”Uh, yes...” He answered, reluctantly, as Aurelia gave herself a facepalm, and a deep exhale.

”I guess I will be the one to teach you everything about life. He has softened you too much” She said. That also sparked something that Acion had to speak about.

”Hey…” He said quietly, as she turned to him. ”I couldn’t help but notice that you and father don’t really resemble. In thoughts and so. And your words also contradicts his. So was he wrong all the time?”

He wasn’t exactly sure himself. There were two opposite views from two of his dearest family members, and he couldn’t really decide on who to follow. Aurelia found this a bit surprising, but simply smiled.

”There were meanings in his words that was to be perceived in a different way. But he, of course, wasn’t wrong.” She said, as she stopped walking, as Acion stopped in her track as well. ”You do know that you cannot fly until you are the age of nine right?”

”Yeah.”

”And do you know that many people were disappointed because of that?”

Eh?

Acion was baffled.

”Yes. It is the truth.” Aurelia said. ”You used to be a great disappointment to everyone, while I have to compensate for that. But your father and mother refused to let you be influenced by that, and as a result injected you with all that destiny and god thing.”

...
’Was that even real? That mother and father…’

”I, of course, don’t approve their methods. But it surely has proved to be beneficial. You have indeed grown to become a powerful fighter. I mean, if you keep on like that, you are fully eligible to come see me the moment you got your graduation degree. But the inevitable result is that you have become a super awkward and crazy traditionalist.” She looked at him, as he turned away. Embarrassment was the exact word to describe him now, as he reflect on his earlier action during the day, and earlier on as well. He even thought that was cool at the time. How stupid…

”I see…” Acion said. ”I’ve been so stupid…”

”Yes you have. But…” She slapped her palm into his arm. ”You’ve come to realized that soon enough. A lot sooner than I expected. Hopefully, it will make you a lot more ‘appealing’ to the students than you are currently now.”

Acion’s face turned a little red.

”Appealing? What do you mean by that?”

”Look at yourself.” She told him as if she was mocking his own ignorance. ”I doubt no one actually care about how your hairs are good-looking. By your age, the boys are already getting for themselves a girlfriend that they can dick around with for their entire life.”

”Hey! I have a future to work for.” He protested.

”But don’t tell me you do not find anyone around you particularly attractive?”

Her words stunned her little brother, as his face got redder, a mixture of anger and fluster.

”...Two…” He replied. ”There are two that I appeal the most.”

”Geez, you sure are hopeless. Some of the boys are making a harem of their own. Look at where you are right now. Pathetic…” Aurelia shrugged her shoulder as if she wasn’t even paying attention

”Hey, hey! I’m working to get into Sky Knight just like you wished, and what are you complaining?”

The rant back and forth would continue on for a few more minutes, but eventually it died down, and the two siblings once again walked down the hallway of the dorm, as the radiant red of the sun were having its final glory before being enveloped by the starry night.

”You know…I had wished for a moment like this for a while now.”

”You do?”

”You remember the time when you were still all about the strong and the weak?

”Ah…” It was Aurelia’s turn to be embarrassed. Those time were pretty much the lowest stoop of her life path. Even mentioning about it made her feel a little bit shameful of herself, since she was prideful of herself, and the Nakamiji bloodline. But after all, everyone had these memories like this, and it was through these that one’s individual would grow to what people would call ‘maturity’.

”You were like that all the time, distant from me, and everybody else. Sometimes, I just wished to have someone of my age to play with, but you were never there. And when you snapped out of it, you were already gone.”

”Hmm…” Aurelia nodded, feeling a little down and guilty.

”If we can remind ourselves of those times, do you mind if you and I can go outside. Tomorrow afternoon, after class. To do me a favor. I was not able to do it today because of, you know, that.”

”Tomorrow is quite a busy day for me…” She mumbled, but after some considerations… ”...but I can manage.”

She understood her brother’s intention.

”However, to prevent clogging my schedule, you would have to patrol the city along with the Sky Knight as well.”

”But you know perfectly well that I cannot go out on my own for the whole semester. I’ll need you to escort me out, and even then they won’t let me go anywhere beyond your sight.”

”Ayy…” The Sky Defender sighed audibly. ”How inconvenient. Fine, I’ll stop by the school by then, and I’ll file you a leave.”

”Thanks, nee-san.” Acion said.

Noticing the sudden and unusual way Acion addresses her sister, Aurelia was believed to give one of the kindest smile she had ever given, as she slowly walked to her brother’s side.

”You probably felt lonely after all those years right? Let me make that up to you...”

She then stood on her heels, right next to her brother, one of her hand placed on his shoulder.

And she kissed him...

On his left cheek.

It was a short one, lasting only a few seconds. But for him, who knows how long it lasted.

”There we go. See you tomorrow, little brother.”

With that, she quickly departed, as her wings once again soared with might and beauty, leaving Acion with a couple of feathers slowly descending onto the dorm’s balcony.

The winged boy, after recovered from Aurelia’s sudden behavior, found himself completely bare. His sadness didn’t completely vanish, but most were now replaced by a renewed confidence. A new Acion Nakamiji. He had become a different person, and hopefully, a better person than he had been before. And he was now ready to face what was to be thrown at him, what was to be taken away from him.

Kasuke Mina

Mina returned the handshake firmly, and didn't seem to be treating her any differently than anybody else in her actions, yet there was some kind of expression that lay between pity and caring in her eyes. When this girl replied to her in an icy tone, Mina couldn't help smiling and warming to her instantly. They had more in common that she had first thought, and though Mina did feel a little bit slighted, she found Haruka's mood to relateable to take any offense.

"I understand, and won't talk to you a second longer than I need to. I was just wandering about your history with Jett Haven. You both seem troubled after your conversation, as do I, and we're not going to rectify ourselves by sitting down alone and waiting for it to go away. Whether we end up as friends or you end up hating my guts, I do think it's important we talk."

Dinner went underway without too much of a hitch. People were chatting with each other and Mamoru was quick to ensure that other students got fresh bowls, refills, more pickles, or whatever they wanted. She also had Luelle go and chat up some other students too, not wanting her to be busy doing labor like Mamoru. She spied him chatting with Ezra and gave her a quite thumbs up. Ezra was a rough fellow but hopefully he’ll like Luelle.

Wasn’t long when Donny and Michiko came in with cake. Desert typically signaled the end of dinner so Mamoru went about cleaning up plates and dishes, or at least a dropping them off in the sink. She did take a slice of cake but it wasn’t for her; it was for Retha. Walking over to the extremely hot teacher Mamoru curtsied and introduced herself. ”Ohayo Retha-Sensei! I brought you a cake!” Smiling politely to the teacher Mamoru out the desert on the table, ignorant that it was melting due to the radiant heat from Retha. ”Did you enjoy your dinner?”

@Noxx

Entering the room Donny went about serving up cake. He had a clean knife which he used to masterfully slice each piece into an equal piece, though they were rather small since he was trying to make sure everyone had a slice. Good thing Michiko made a big cake. Of course he could eat this whole thing in one gulp, but for now he’ll have to hold back his hunger. No matter how well this cake smelled. Looking around the room he remembered that Ezra wanted a slice and saw him talking to a somewhat unfamiliar girl. If Donny remembered correctly, she was in his cooking class. ”Luelle I think.”

Donny walked over with two small plates of cake for Ezra and Luelle. He didn’t want to disturb their chat so he said nothing as he put the plates on a table near them, motioning them to have some, and going back to get more cake. While he didn’t have to bring people cake Donny just felt like doing so. As he picked up a plate and debated eating it r spotted Mina chatting with a stranger. His heart skipped a beat. He hadn’t spoken to her since before Quirk Application. She seemed concerned about something. ”Quick Donny use your food!”

Gulping the big boy walked over to Mina and Haruka, practically sweating and not just due to the heat. But what sort of hero would he be if he could face his fears once in awhile? ”U-U-Uh Hello, Kosuke-San a-a-and um…” Donny froze up realizing he didn’t even know this girl’s name. He had to think quickly. ”I b-brought cake! Do y-y-y-you two want a-a-any?” However it wasn’t until he arrived that he realized that he may have just stepped into a landmine. The tension here felt palpable. The boy gulped and waited for their answer. Donny may need to make an emergency exit soon.

Dorm Lobby > Dining Hall

"'The timid type?'" Asuka parroted back, and one could practically hear the air quotes. "It's not that. She just ignores anyone she doesn't feel like dealing with, cause they're 'not worth her time,' or something like that. Honestly, it's childish and stupid." The younger Motome scratched her head with a frown.

Huh? Kenichi was the one to blink this time, although he reflexively stepped out of the way as Yashiro excused himself to squeeze past the two. That didn't seem like Fumika at all--she hadn't ignored anyone who interacted with her, as far as Kenichi remembered. The only time she stood aloof from everyone else, or stayed quiet without interjecting any opinions of her own, was what made Kenichi think she was timid; she held back from saying or doing a lot unless someone went to her directly. And like that time in the nurse's office, when she had started pulling her hair from stress, she probably couldn't handle a lot of things--like talking--going on at once. Kenichi wasn't sure if that was due to the nature of her Quirk--maybe being able to memorize everything going on around you meant that having too much at once put stress on the brain--or just some form of social anxiety. But either way, Fumika hadn't ever struck him as the kind of person who would deem someone else "unworthy." More like the exact opposite...she was so unsure of herself even though she had such an awesome Quirk.

But Asuka was her sister, so shouldn't she know these things better than Kenichi did? After all he wasn't the brightest bulb in the building...still, they said men could understand each other through their fists, and he had definitely fought a hard battle with Fumika. Although she wasn't a man, so maybe that rendered the whole thing moot...

If her hair lies flat around her sister all the time...maybe I'm the one misreading the signals? Still, though...I mean, her hair is tied to her Quirk, and she mimics people for a similar reason, so isn't the antennae sort of an indicator of what emotion she's mimicking or feeling for herself?

"So you already know about Harukaze-san, then. Right..." She cleared her throat. Kenichi started to raise a hand and tell her that she didn't have to go into great detail, since he didn't want to pry into something that was clearly so personal, but Asuka didn't seem to have any reservations about going right into it. Kenichi did note, though, that she seemed to keep it to the facts without anything that an outsider probably wouldn't need to know. Like the bluehair had already assumed, Haruka and Jett had some history and weren't arguing out of any malicious intent. Considering some of the stuff Kenichi had watched his father go through after the man's own accident, he could certainly understand some of what might be going on. Then Asuka shook her head.

Kenichi suddenly gulped, feeling nervous for some reason he couldn't explain. Fumika's little sister might be cute, but she apparently had no problem expressing herself like her big sister.

"Well, whatever. If that's how it is, I guess it's fine. Who knows? Someone like you might be exactly the wake-up call that dense girl needs. In any case, I guess I don't mind you hanging around her, provided you're willing to put up with her... attitude."

At this, Kenichi couldn't help but grin. As Asuka turned to enter the dining room, Kenichi followed her and soon locked eyes on the table where Fumika sat with Ayato, and the blind girl whose name he was pretty sure was Yukari, or Yozakura-chan if he was being polite (although given what he'd talked about with Asuka, maybe he needed to be more polite?) Another girl, who Kenichi had seen with Roy, Ezra, Mina, and Jett at lunch but whose name he had never learned, was standing near them and asking Ayato about the different colored sprites. Yashiro had also started talking to Fumika, and Kenichi was inwardly pleased to see her ahoge jump in surprise--not because her being startled was funny to him or anything, but because it confirmed what he thought about the antennae being indicative of shifts in her emotions.

@Feyblue"No worries, Asuka-chan!" he said to the younger girl as he folded his arms behind his head. "I'm one'a those loudmouth-types of main characters who rushes into stuff even if it's none of their business! Even if she ignores me or gets mad at me, I'll still come runnin' anytime she needs help!" He thumped a fist against his chest, still grinning, and then he toned it down a bit as they approached the table so as not to be too overbearing when he and Asuka entered range of the conversations.

@rechonq@Ryonara@Heartfillia@Aerandir@Feyblue"Yo, Ayato-kun! How's the spread?" he asked as he approached the seat his roommate had been saving for him. He nodded to everyone else around the table. "Fair warning, even if it weren't my Quirk I'm the type who inhales food." He chuckled at his own joke, but secretly he hoped none of the girls would be put off by his eating habits. Fumika had already seen him at lunch, after all, and hadn't run out of the room screaming. Out of everyone's reactions, he watched hers the most intensely, especially as Asuka took her own seat.

Dulga Tarata

When desert came out Dulga indulged quietly. She accepted a slice when it was given to her, ate it quickly, and then put her dishes away. It seemed like everyone was socializing with each other now and as much as Dulga wanted to chat, she had important things to take care of. So she went back to her dorm where all her stuff was still packed up in boxes. Letting out a sigh Dulga started to unpack. Unlike what some may think, Dulga actually had a lot of cute decorations. It was mostly dragon plushes as well as a few dolls of various super heroines that Dulga actually had to pay good money to get. A few were even hand-made from her father. He made toys just about as well as he made weapons. Of course the important thing wasn't the dolls or comforter, but her desk. Dulga didn't order just any ordinary desk, but a gunbench where she could tinker with her firearms, make bullets, and maintain her weapons. She had also ordered a gun safe too, but she'll need two more since she brought more weapons from home. Fortunately they should be safe inside their cases for now.

Eventually Dulga was finished setting up her room. There were more stuffed toys around, books and magazines packed the bookshelf, most of them about guns, and on Dulga's bed was a giant dragon doll. It was even bigger than Kaida, and almost as big as Dulga herself. Hugging the dragon close Dulga laid down on the bed and closed her eyes. While she wasn't tired she wanted to enjoy this moment. An innocent moment where she can pretend that she's just a regular girl in a regular world, wanting to do regular girl things. She stayed like this for about ten minutes before Dulga sat up and moved to her gun bench. "Time to work." Dulga opened up one of her gun cases containing two pistols and a rifle, stripping them down one at a time to clean and inspect their parts.

Takeshi’s lip curled in a tiny smirk as he noticed her tuft of hair spring up after introducing himself. It was odd. But he had seen many weird quirks before. He stood there looking at her when she looked back at him, her head cocked to the side as if she was trying to process something in her head. Staring blankly at him as he blinked back at her with an amused smirk. She really was odd. The other girl sort of answered his question, but it was more directed to Mina, than to him. It was clear she was bitter about her own situation. It didn’t take a genius to figure that out.

He was pulled out of it when Motome introduced herself, suddenly her tuft of hair was bapping him in the nose, his head pulled back slightly as he was confused at first at what hit him, then again it bopped him on the nose as she stood up. Seeing it finally, his amused smirk turned into a small grin, more so when she asked if he was a ninja or samurai, or the combination of the two.

He was about to answer, but he hesitated. Thinking about it actually he was formally trained to be a samurai, however he did learn few of the arts that normally a Ninja would practice in, Intel gathering. Evasion and escape, as well as stealth when needed. With a thoughtful look on his face he looked to Motome with her childlike expression on her face, which only made him smile more.

Well, I was formally trained as a Samurai, as has all my ancestors had since well before the Meji Era. However we have trained in a few Ninjutsu arts as well. So I suppose the correct answer would be a Samurai-Ninja.

It is a pleasure to meet you as well. He noticed they haven’t eaten yet as they were sitting down. Kenichi was mention how he inhales his food jokingly. He glanced at the others near them and looked once again to Fumika. Forgive me, I should let you and your visitors eat before bothering you any further. I would like to get to know you more some other time. He bowed his head to Fumika once again.

Overhearing Mina speaking to Haruka about Jett Haven he glanced over. He found it odd that he was a person of interest to those two. To him he was a bumbling fool who was a big talker. He remembered the scene in the lunchroom. And he was easily thrown from a window in class.

Even more so that she didn’t even know this girl but she was trying to get to the bottom of it.

Retha

Retha continued to eat her modest meal while the students feasted, she had her ears perked and alert just in case something actually happened, but for the most part, it was a pretty tamed dinner at least for this school. She smiled when she finished her Udon and sighed with contentment, just when she was about to excuse herself back to her office someone walked up with dessert in their hands with what looked like a cake or it used to be one. Now it was slowly turning into a melty mess of fluff and water that was starting to seep down to the floor, Retha couldn’t help but smile at the child who was offering, after all, it’s the thought that counts right.

“You’re a sweet girl Mamoru, but you should be mindful of your surroundings,” she said pointing at the slowly growing mess. Retha pushed her hand down into a medium sized bucket filled to the brim with ice, cooling her hand down temporarily and instantly melting the ice into water then converted into pure steam, so that she could pat the child’s head lovingly “But it's always the thought that counts so thank you Mamoru” she smiled sweetly.

“Oh, and could you be a dear and clean this up, I’m afraid the wooden mop and broom would burst into flames in my hands and the janitors won’t be around for a good long while” The den mother explained before wrapping her hand around her the special container she uses to safely eat and getting up “Come I’ll show you where the cleaning supplies are”

Chiwa Hatori

"All passengers, we have now arrived at Hosu Station. Those who wish to disembark–"

"Ugh!" A teenage girl muttered, grasping tightly onto her backpack with one hand and a small suitcase with the other. She was in her plain black striped T-shirt and denim shorts, with a bright red travel backpack slung behind her shoulders. Today was the day – the day Hatori would join Komei and as her parents liked to say, a "new chapter in her life". She wouldn't have thought, however, that her first experience in Hosu was dealing with the crowd of people that were basically squeezing her out of the train. She had to hurriedly take the backpack and suitcase she had stored on the top shelf of her seat and move towards the exit. It was only five meters away, but Hatori believed she had been pushing in there for almost two minutes before she could get out.

Dang...I thought rush hours in Sendai were bad enough, but rush hours in Tokyo are ten times worse... Hatori thought as soon as the crowd started to lighten when she moved away from the bullet train, finally being able to catch a breather. She stared up at the large digital clock in the center of the platform; it was a bit past seven in the evening. She shivered from the draft that flew across the open platform. It was spring and the start of the school year, but the nights were chilly and windy enough that Hatori had to take out the orange jacket from her backpack and put in on. She quickly made a double check of her backpack and suitcase and other belongings that were on her to make sure she didn't drop those while exiting the train car before walking towards the escalators and making her way out of the station.

Hatori passed through the ticket checkpoint without much hassle and was able to get a good look around. Sendai was a fairly large city, but Tokyo was even larger. "I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps," she murmured to herself. It wasn't nearly as catchy in Japanese, and said lyrics referred to another city halfway across the world, but it nevertheless set the mood for her as she looked around at the tall, bright skyscrapers while making her way to the nearby metro station. Her feet were subconsciously tapping to the tune in her head as she made her steps down.

"And find I'm the top of the hill, top of the heap!"

"So this is Komei..." Hatori mutters, staring at the front gate. It was far more massive than she had imagined, easily passing for a university campus if it didn't end with "Hero Academy". They were certainly were as grand and impressive as the instructors during the entrance exam suggested; after all, if you were going to be the best, you had to train with the best with all the resources you'll need.

She wondered what her high school life would have been if she had joined some ordinary high school. She would be living comfortably at home, only needing to worry about her social life and academics. Could she still be a hero? Maybe – it wasn't like some random academy could tell you what or what not to be. But that would have all been too easy, wouldn't it? I worked hard enough to get into such a prestigious institution, where I'll be able to meet people who have the same goals at me. Would have been better than sitting my next three years at home. Hatori chuckled and slowly walked towards the gate, lightly pushing it...

Bzzzzzt!

Hatori felt a swift, strong shock throughout her entire body that made her recoil in pain, tripping backwards and falling towards the ground. "Ngh! The hell!" Hatori groaned audibly, rubbing her reddened hands. The invisible electrical barrier stopped her from entering, and while the shock was hardly enough to injure her, it was still excruciating. While she wasn't super intelligent, it didn't take a genius to know what kind of barriers those are – Hatori had seen them before in those embassies her dad occasionally had to go to in his heroic days. Those were electrical impact barriers (there was a more technical term for it, but she found her own term easier to remember). They react proportionally to physical impact; the harder you try to hit it, the greater the shock would be. Hatori concluded her own train of thought. If it was some minor contact or even a small kick, the shock would be noticeable and temporarily painful but overall harmless, but if, say, a villain tried to blast through it, it would shock him enough to cause injuries. It was definitely a measure taken by such a high-end institution as this to keep the unwanted or the evil out. The pain eventually subsided before Hatori stood up and turned to the gate.

A sign to the right of the fancy intricate gate read in bold red words: "Please show your ID before entry. NO TRESPASSING! Contact information below..." Below was a small terminal with a number pad – there was a scanner on the front, though there was also a slot to the side and a number pad in case the former didn't work. Hatori placed her palm in front of her face, sighing for missing such an obvious detail and searching the front pocket of her backpack to take out her student ID, which had a picture of a straight-faced teenage girl with the slightest sign of uncomfortableness and a 7-numbered ID with a barcode. She moved it towards the terminal. A part of her was concerned if the ID would work or not, as she was given it three days beforehand since she was out in Taiwan for family reasons and came back the day before, so it was her first time using it. She definitely did not want to spend the night out in some hotel.

Thankfully, the terminal responded with a high-pitched beep. Hatori moved her hand towards the gate, where the barrier no longer stopped her, and she was able to safely open the gate. She smiles and takes the first few steps into Komei; it was far past regular class times, so besides the short lighting posts beside the road, most of the buildings were dark and empty. Having no idea where she was, Hatori went for her backpack again and pulled out a school map she had printed the day before for reference. "So this is the A/B female dorms, and those are the dining commons..." she moved her finger accordingly to the route she needed to take, and smiled as she walked towards the girls' dorm. Apparently, there were a few of them: one for A and B classes for all three years, then one for the C and D classes and so on, though only the first was of importance to her. On the bottom of the map was also a few numbers, referring to her designated dorm room.

When she was done, Hatori made sure to fold her map, creasing it at certain corners. She never knew what might happen, but it was always helpful to fold every piece of paper she came across, since it saves a lot of time trying to fold it by scratch. It was muscle memory for her, though classmates back at her school found it a bit odd. She also had a stack of rectangular sticky notes on her breast pocket, two more in her jacket pockets, and another two in her shorts. Needless to say, Hatori was more than prepared for self-defense.

Once more using the ID card to scan the entrance of the girls' dorm, Hatori went in and relaxed. She was finally here. Her room should be at "A-108", right across the hallway to the right of the front entrance. Most of her belongings should be there as well. Hatori searched through her backpack a third time, this time getting out a bronze dorm key with the number right on it.

As she recalled from her online registration, she was living in a double with another girl her age. This is her first time actually living with someone else that wasn't her family. Sounds...sounds pretty Western, Hatori thought. She had never heard of Japanese students ever living together in a single room. Hatori was definitely not changing her clothes in front of someone else. They're probably doing this to accomodate foreign students I think. I've heard there's a lot more here.

She switched into a pair of slippers, holding her pair of worn socks on one hand as she walked towards her room. Well, I hope my roommate is at least at the same wavelength as me. Nothing wrong with foreigners, but our life styles would probably clash too much. I hope we share interests or something else, or this would be a long year. When she came close to her room A-108, however, a nearby room was open for a short time before it closed up. Hatori blinked; it was probably another classmate who was just settling in. She continued onto her own room, unlocking it and entering.

Room A-108 was about 25 square meters large, generous enough for a double (though it was more likely than not in consideration of mutant Quirk users who would need the extra space). The door led to a short, narrow hallway. To the immediate right of the door was a small counter indented into the wall. It had a sink, while the rest of the space was barely enough to set up a rice cooker or hot plate – not a place to do actual cooking. The small cupboard space below the sink was vacant and had a fire extinguisher. Hatori assumed there may be a common kitchen and lounge where dorm members could use, though she had not visited around the dorm building to find out just yet. To the immediate left were two cupboards, enough space to store personal hygiene products or basic medicine and first aid.

The hallway extended into a larger space. It was nearly symmetrical in design, with the beds and desks against the wall. One bed was at the bottom right corner facing towards the windows with the table in front of it, while another was at the top left corner near the windows with the desk behind the bed. There were also hollowed out frames on the beds, presumably to allow the roommates to convert the two beds into a bunk bed. A detachable railing lay below one of the beds. It would save a bit of space, but Hatori also wanted to preserve some sort of privacy between whoever was her roommate, and seeing as she had placed her stuff on one of the beds, she rather not do it without her decision. There was also the possibility that neither of them would be able to lift the bed up unless her roommate had some sort of strength-enhancing Quirk. Hatori would have to plan with her roommate. Plus, they had plenty of room to work with.

On both walls next to the desks were tall slide-in closets, enough to store some clothes and other objects. Both beds also had some space below them to place their own personal cubbies. Hatori also came to the realization that...the bathroom was completely absent in the room. Ugh. Guess this dorm has some sort of communal bathroom and showering room, too. Living independent from her family, especially in a dorm, was a wholly new experience and certainly not an easy one.

After doing a swift scan of the room, Hatori decided to focus on what her roommate had brought in, or at least what was shown to her; she didn't want to invade her privacy. One pillow and plain pillowcase. A regular blanket. A small chest of drawers for her clothes. Basic hygenic stuff. A few random stuffed animals. "...What? That's it?" She was mildly confused on how sparse her roommate's personal space was. Excluding what she had brought personally, she had another large suitcase where her clothes were. She could literally stuff everything her roommate brought in with her travel backpack.

This wouldn't do. She would have to buy some amenities herself. A mini-fridge, an additional desk fan, desk lamps, maybe some entertainment devices or objects. Hatori had 25,000 yen immediately on her, and an extra 80,000 yen on a credit card – she was hoping on saving her money to use when she wanted to eat outside for the school year, but now it seems like she would have to sacrifice a bit to make their dorm a livable space.

For now, however, Hatori was going to put down her stuff and go out to meet whoever happened to move in near her. Only taking her backpack after clearing most of it out, she walked out back into the main dorm hallway and knocked on the dorm room's door. "Hey, is anyone in there? I just saw you move in and I want to greet you as neighbors."

Roy Kusayanagi

Yashiro Michiko

Jett Haven

As Roy took his last bite. he fell back in his chair with satisfaction of the food. “That really hit the spot, I feel refreshed.” Roy said releasing his construct and patting his stomach. He swung his body forward and got up out the chair. His body still aching, he really didn't want to go back to the nurse. The idea of anything resembling a hospital made him uncomfortable. “I'll see you guys later, make sure Tomoe gets to bed soon. She will hurt herself sleeping like that.” Roy made his way to the dining room entrance and waved his left hand. “Thanks for the meal Donny and Michiko, I am gonna be in my room.” His body was trembling he waved, trying bear the pain and hold his composure.

Michiko was about to walk back to the kitchen when Roy offered his thanks. She stopped and sighed shaking her head. What was it with boys and being insistent on trying to be the tough guy? She could tell the patch job was not done by a nurse. It was sloppy and loose in some areas. She quickly moved towards him and blocked his escape.

“No your not. You are going to the nurses. Ezra and Takeshi already had to go for theirs. But you look worse than they do!” She placed her hands on her hips. Looking a little mad. It was odd as she only met him briefly a few hours later. But she did not like seeing people in pain.

Roy stopped in place as Michiko told him to go to the nurse. She was snapping abbot and that caught the boy off guard a bit. Michiko looked as if there was no other options. It reminded him a bit about how his mother would act. The fact that she got Ezra and takeshi to go was pretty crazy.

“A-alright I'll go” he said, as he turned and made his way out the front door of the dormitory. He put his hand in his pocket and sighed.

Michiko sighed and nodded her head as he turned to leave. Noticing another blonde haired boy walking down the stairs. He looked awfully familiar She would have to think on where she saw him before, or who he was related to. She then went over to Ezra, who was speaking to a white haired girl dressed up as a maid...neko. Ok. She smiled as she walked up to them and placed a plate in front of Ezra with the cheese cake she promised when he came back.

“Thank you for doing that. I rather not see anyone suffering in pain. Is there anything else I can get you?” She looked to the girl. “Oh Hello, my name is Yashiro Michiko. It’s nice to meet you.”

Jett changed into some tan jeans and white shirt when for up to his room. He then laid down to rest, but literally a minute later he got back up as his mind was still racing and decided to put a few things away. Though after he managed to put his cloths in the dresser and closet, he started to rub his temple as pain started to become a little more unbearable. Grunting softly, he moved one of his suitcases off the floor and onto the bed, out of the way of his roommate if he was to return before he got back, then pulled out his grandfather's warm weather U.S. military jacket. It still had his name on it “Rayner” plus his rank and Unit patch. He always felt comfortable wearing it. As if his Grandfather was there with him. He then left his room, deciding to go to the nurses to get something for the pain as he didn’t pack anything himself.

After making it down the stairs he heard someone speaking about going to the nurse's office. He glanced over to see Roy bandaged up and figured it was him. There was another cute girl that looked mad at him. What was it a girlfriend or something? He didn’t see her in class before, he would have to introduce himself later. He then looked to see Haruka and Fumi speaking to a guy from one of his other classes and Mina, What the hell was she speaking to Haruka for?! With a confused look on his face he shook his head and made a b line for the door only to notice Roy doing the same.

When he got close enough he asked “What the hell happened to you?” Giving one last glance towards Mina and Haruka.

Roy heard a familiar voice and turned around. It was his fellow blonde brothen. As he looked at him, the image of him hugging Kaida and Mina's face flashed through his mind. He came back when he realized that he was asking him a question.

“Oh, I sparred with Ezra. You can say that things got out of hand and we had a few injuries. You know how he gets down.” Roy said noticing the boys getup. “A U.S. army jacket? Where'd you get one of those?”He said smirking, he didn't expect someone to have such a jacket here in Japan.

Jett nodded his head as he tapped his temple. “Yeah I do. Guy is a beast. Next time won’t go like it did for the first exercise. “ He smiled before glancing at his jacket, he smiled more. “NAVY. Belonged to my grandfather, he was a Master Chief in the Navy Seals. He died when I was little while in service.my mother felt we would have been very close and that I act a lot like him. So she gave me this.” He said pulling at it, as if doing so would give Roy a better view. He was certainly proud of it. His grandfather was a genuine hero.

He looked back to Roy and gave him a slick smile. “So who’s the cutie? She seemed a little mad you were hurt.”

He took a closer look at the boy's jacket, his hand still in his pocket. “Hmm, that's pretty cool”, Roy leaned back, he didn’t know any family members other than his mother. The guy is still wondering where his father might even be. Does the guy even know he has a son? Jett then asked about who he was talking to and Roy just smirked.

“Oh that's Michiko, she's the sister of Takeshi I believe. When she described her brother he fit the image best. When your mother said that you are like your grandfather...was she including that both of your kryptonites are attractive women?” Roy said with a small grin as the two walked towards the main building.

Jett glanced at roy when he mentioned the girls name. She was that guys sister? They didn’t look like twins. But he didn’t think on it too much as roy mentioned his kryptonite. He gave him a queer look. “Maybe… “ He said with a slight unsure tone. “why do you ask that? “

“You are the one who has a girl mad at you who is related to the edge master. I would say that’s more interesting.”

Roy chuckled as he said that he had a girl mad at him, little did he know that he had 2 girls mad at him. “she was mad just because I didn’t want to go to the nurse for these cuts...Though since we are on the topic of girls.” Roy said taking in a deep breath as he gathered his words.

“I don’t have any right in asking this, but I thought you had a small thing for Mina” he said dropping his thoughts on him. He figured telling him about what he saw in order to avoid some conflict.

Jett was looking forward with his hands in his Jacket pockets when Roy mentioned Mina. His head pulled back as he got confused. Only glancing at Roy without moving his head.

After a moment he turned his head.” Kasuke is a cute girl yeah, she’s a tough cookie though. So it’s hard to get a read on her at times.” He said which was partially true. But he didn’t want to say anything else till Roy told him why he asked. “Are you sure you're fine? Her kick to the head didn’t knock all your marbles out did it?” He said with a smirk.

Roy looked up to the sunset and then back at Jett as the boy half answered him. He didn’t give a yes or a no though. “I know I don't have any business asking that. Just wanted to give you a warning that she and I saw what happened between you and Kaida”. Roy said giving him a straight face showing that he was serious.

“Ezra and Takeshi saw as well” he said looking straight as the sun dipped down.

“It doesn’t bother me because I am used to your whole Johnny bravo mindset but her on the other hand was not a happy girl about it. I am just giving you a heads up, I just don’t want things getting awkward between everyone, today was the most fun I had in years.” Roy said with a small smile on his face looking back on the eventful day.

“So if you don’t want to lose the progress you have with her, probably should fix things as soon as you can”

Jett narrowed his eyes at Roy. They saw what happened between Kaida and him? Them talking? And a hug she gave him? Also why would he care that Ezra and Takeshi saw him as well?

He then went on to explain how Mina wasn’t a happy girl about seeing them hug. At first he had a few different thoughts rolling through his head. First was she clearly jealous that Kaida was hugging him. Second was he was kinda annoyed that she was. Getting mad over the fact Kaida gave him a hug cause he wasn’t having a good day was a bit childish. It’s not like she offered one to him. She just insulted him and told him to go to bed essentially.also while yes he did like her, being friends with other girls shouldn’t be an issue. It was the first day he met them as well. But it was also clear she didn’t like Kaida from the start.

“You're right, it’s not your business. Because clearly all of you misread the situation. But Incase she does say anything to you about it. What really happened was that Kaida saw that I was having some issues and asked if I was ok. She gave me a hug out of comfort. Because it’s how she is.”

He looked back at Roy, half wondering if he was bringing this up because he liked her as well. He noticed the rose and pillows from Before.

Roy’s face was straight as Jett told him what had happened and the he was having issues with some things. Though it didn't exactly matter much to him or the boys really. Jett seemed fine right now so no point in reminding him of personal issues.

“Well this is as far as I'll stick my nose in your business. I'd rather not tell them you were having some personal problems so she gave you a hug and blow this small thing out of proportion.” He said as he opened the door to the main corridor of the building before taking a turn down some stairs.

“Takeshi and Ezra seem mature enough not to delve into that. Hopefully Mina doesn't lash out at you for no reason.”

Roy realized something big at this moment, “Hey Jett...why the hell are you following me” Roy said with a confused face. It's funny he realized this when he had almost reached his destination.

Jett sighed and shook his head. It’s not blowing it out of proportion when it’s the truth. He then said, “I don’t care what Ezra or Takeshi thinks. I ment Kasuke cause you are ‘friends’ now. If she brings it up, I’m sure she saw us leave together.” He then asked why he was following him.

“I’m not. We are heading to the same destination. I need something for my head, I have a massive migraine that’s been bothering me all day. It’s worse now, and I don’t have anything to help with it. As I didn’t have time to go to the store.”

Roy didn’t say much to the boys last comment, Jett must be really stressed out if he has a migraine. The two had reached the nurse's office, as they opened the door they were greeted by nurse Kiwi.

Nurse Kiwi had been going over some more paperwork as she prepared to leave for the day. As she looked up at the boys she smiled. Looking at Roy she shook her head, “looks like we'll be seeing a lot of each other Mr.Kusayanagi.” She then turned to the boy with the U.S. navy jacket, “That's a nice little jacket you have there” she said with a smile.

“Were you just being a good friend and helping Mr.Kusayanagi or are you not feeling well either?”

Jett smiled when she complimented his jacket… but saying little jacket he didn’t know how to take it. But he didn’t say anything as she then asked if he wasn’t feeling well either.

“He helped himself.” He said. He was actually a little embarrassed he didn’t try and help him more. But a little impressed at the kids grit. Despite being knocked out Kasuke. “Take care of him first of course, but I do need something for my head, it’s starting to throb pretty bad again.”

Kiwi put one hand on her hip and signaled for Roy to sit on the bed, “No problem! Your beautiful school nurse will help you feel all better.” She placed her papers down on her desk before walking over to the Roy was on. Carefully taking off the boys wraps she quickly assessed the light burns he had on his arms as well as the cut on his forehead and arm. “You seemed to have gotten burned and bruised on top of your cuts.” Kiwi placed her hand over the boy and soon you could see the insects ooze out of the womans skin. “Now be still” she said tilting her head and giving a sweet smile. The insects leapt from her skin landing on the young man's arm quickly cleaning up the shallow cuts on his arm.

The cuts soon went away as the bugs moved over to the boys bruised upper arm. The insects soon healing the traumatized cells and giving the boy his natural skin tone back. Finally they climbed up the side of his face and began working on the deep head wound. Luckily his skull wasn’t damage. The cut on his head slowly forming into a scar. The insects soon withdrew from the boy's body and back into Ms.Kiwi.

“I will get you some ointment for the burns, as for you Jett I cannot give you any medicine though I can relieve some pain from your headache” she said smiling signaling the boy to sit in a chair.

Jett hesitated when she turned to him and said she couldn’t give him any medicine. Which he thought was odd.. He was just wanting some over the counter stuff. Unless there was a form that needed to be filled out or some crap like that. “Uh… On second thought it’s not that bad. I can go to the store and get some headache relief.” He did NOT want to have those bugs crawling in his head.

As the bugs crawled all over Roy and entered his skin he looked as if he was paralyzed in fear. He could feel them crawling under his arm and their teeth as they bit him, though shortly after they bit him the pain was gone. The boy turned over to Jett with a face saying ‘I am never coming here again’. This is what the others had to go through when they were injured? Yeah they are gonna have to kill him first if they want to catch him. He nearly passed out when they entered the wound in his head. You could see the light in his eyes fading as he gripped onto dear life. Once the procedure was over and Ms.Kiwi got up, Roy held his chest as if he was out of breath. He tried talking to Jett but all you could hear was heavy wheezing and him shaking his head. Kiwi had returned with the ointment and applied it onto the boy's skin before giving him the okay to get up.

“Awe don’t be like that Jetty, I promise it won't be as bad as you think. How do you expect to be big and strong if you don’t take your ‘medicine’.” She added a lot of emphasis on the word medicine as she looked at Jett with a puppy dog face.

Jett looked in horror as Roy almost looked he died from the ‘procedure’. Especially when the bugs when into his head. He knew that was in line for him. He winced as the sudden jolt of stress triggered his migraine even more. His hand instinctively going to his temple. Hell he might not even make it out of this room, not to mention the store to get medicine.

He leaned against the door as he was trying to make his ‘escape’ but he couldn’t really move from it as the migraine became more of a piercing pain. “No no I-I’m fine. Reallly.”

Kiwi knew the boy was in pain clearly, she kept on with her pleading. “Pleaseeeee! Jetty I promise it won't hurt as bad. It's like getting a shot, it is not as bad when you close your eyes!” The nurse said in a whiny voice. She walked over to Jett grabbing him by the shoulders and guiding him back to the bed. Kiwi was close enough for the boy to smell her sweet fragrance.

Jett tried to resist but he couldn’t. He was too focused on his head’s piercing pain to actually put up a fight. Despite what he knew about Kiwi’s quirk, being this close to her and smelling that perfume was actually comforting. He shook his head, which only caused him more pain.

He finally gave up as he sat down onto the bed. Glancing at roy as he was still coming out of his own personal hell and said softly, “Fine….please just make it go away….”

The lady smiled as Jett gave in, “Yayy thank you Jett, just close your eyes and I will relieve it soon.” The nurse placed her soft hand on the boys head running her fingers through his hair and massaging his head as the insects exited her body. The bugs began working way into the boy's head as they slowly sunk their teeth into the boy's skull releasing a harmless numbing chemical. Kiwi kept on massaging Jett’s head going around and applying pressure as the insects relayed to her the areas of pain. She didn’t want to go into the boy's skull directly incase something wrong might happen. Soon he would feel the migraine drop down in pain to an average headache. The bugs soon resurfaced on the boys head and went back into Ms.Kiwis arm, she retracted her arm off the boy's head signaling she was done.

“Such soft hair you have, I did my best to relieve the pain. Apply a hot washcloth to your head if it is still bothering you bad” she said smiling as she went back to her desk.

Roys head swiveled lifelessly over to the bugs entering Jetts head. The soulless boy looked like he had saw a ghost. He looked up to the ceiling as he clenched his chest and tried to gather his breath.

Jett did close his eyes and tried to think of something else. She did help as she ran her hands through his hair rubbing his head. He felt a little awkward at first but he felt instant relief(a little) with her rubbing then after a few quick pinches he started to not feel a thing but the pressure of her hands. As the migraine lowered to a headache he almost melted into the nurse behind him. Almost falling backwards when she pulled away.

Catching himself he looked to the nurse, clear that he was more relaxed now he nodded and said “thank you…I’ll do that.” He looked to Roy and raised an eyebrow. “Uhhhhh is he ok?”
Kiwi looked at Jett and tilted her head innocently, “What do you mean by that?” She said acting oblivious to the boys question.

Roy looked over at Jett and shakily gave him a weak thumbs up before slowly getting out of bed. As he rose to his feet you could see he his knees buckling. He beckoned with his head to Jett, signaling to leave now. Though the beckon really looked more like a awkward head nod. The boy zombie walked out the room going ahead of Jett and leaving the nurse. Though he was physically healthy, not so much mentally.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga had stripped her two pistols down in front of her. One was a beretta 92, her mother's personal pistol, and another was a Stechkin. A fairly new firearm Dulga managed to actually purchase through her mother's friends before restrictions were put back into place to prevent Dulga from purchasing more firearms from outside of Japan. It angered Dulga as she felt being able to pursue, purchase, and assemble guns made Dulga feel closer to her mother. But she had to set those memories behind her. She could no longer dwell on her once happier days and focus more about the inevitable, bloody future she was walking into. Dulga cleaned the parts of her pistols, putting the Beretta back into it's holster and case but strapped the Stechkin to her gun belt. The weight of a fully loaded pistol brought Dulga some small joy.

Just as Dulga was about to strip one of her rifle's she heard a knock on the door. She had expected it to be Kaida or perhaps Retha, so Dulga quickly put her rifle away into her gun case. She waited for a few minutes but didn't hear anyone try to open the door. Somewhat confused and concerned Dulga stood up, taking out her pistol from underneath her cloak as she approached the door. Looking through the peephole Dulga saw it was an unfamiliar girl. Apparently she was going to be living here at the dorms. And Dulga thought she had already met everyone. Sighing the six-armed girl holstered her pistol and held her cloak close together to further hide her body. Then Dulga opened the door just a bit, just enough for her to show her masked face. "Hello. I don't remember seeing you in class before."

Acion Nakamiji

It had been a while since his sister left, Acion was still contemplating about the talk he had with her, sinking the words into his mind. Thinking back then, about how he had acted in front of so many people, his classmate. Damn, he must have been really awkward. Really. He wondered how they would think of him now. Would they be willing to be friends with him now? Probably not for the others, like Jett or Mina, or Ezra, but for consolidation, he might have found some trustworthy friends, those who really recognized him. Reina was the first friend he had made. He wondered where she was now? He had not seen her since Hero Gadget. He wondered if she was ok? It had only been a day but he had already felt the deep tension of competition among the students. He wasn't that all worried for himself, but more for her. Hopefully, she would make it.

For him, there was Roy as well, whom he pretty much considered to be his trusted friend now, after all he had given him. Now that he had remembered it, before Aurelia took him out for the talk, Acion did remember Michiko yelling at him about something, and during dinner, he was fairly off with his physicals. But considering his unnerving personality when it comes to challenges, he wouldn't be surprised if the guy decided to hit the gym and trained until all his muscles had strained out. Now that he had gotten to that, Acion instantly slapped himself. It was the first day and yet he had not proceeded anywhere with his training, while everyone appeared to be doing it. And the thought of falling behind was unacceptable. He could not lose.

Instantly walking upstairs, towards his room, Acion took notice that Roy had not returned. While his mind was wondering about it, his body automatically took out the box of training equipment that his sister had given him earlier in the day, fully equipped them, and headed out to hit the gym. Or even better, practiced right at the courtyard. Nothing better than the old-fashion dirt and rock platform.

As he was heading out of the dorm, the question that he had been asking had been solved, as he took notice of the blonde guy that he called his friend, Roy, walking...zombie-like, towards him. And behind him...was another blonde, this time he was Jett...walking in a similar fashion. To be honest, he wasn't very fond of Jett at the moment, but seeing him like this, Acion couldn't help but had a myriad of emotions. Curiosity, for how he had gotten into that state. Worry, for seeing a student in such a shape. And a few more.

"What happened to you two?" He stopped himself from walking away, and turned towards them. "You need help?"

Ezra

Ezra was quite confused by that. He'd not seen the girl the entire day, and had no idea she'd existed prior to this point, but he wasn't complaining. For someone to be that small, and still be competitive among the best heroes, he gave her dues of respect, as she clearly had to be talented. As he thought this, the cute girl from earlier had delivered his cake and he dug in as he listened intently to the girl, who seemed to want to be friends with him. It was an awfully short process, so he had no idea as to why she wanted to be friends, but perhaps she was just being formal.

It was at this stage that she asked him what year he was in. He hadn't been asked that in a while, but given that this was a hero school, he guess it wasn't really something that was still prominent. He must have looked older for her to ask him that, given that she looked on the younger side. He figured he had no adverseness to telling her as he swallowed his cake.

"I'm good, but thanks Michiko. You're too nce to us brutes. I'm in my first year too. Funny how things turn out, huh. So how you found school so far?" he spoke with a smile as he ate some more cake. He was definitely enjoying it, and saw no problems rewarding himself after all his training today.
