Chiwa Hatori

Hatori looked around the room; quite a few people were walking in already after her, and probably the first person she noticed was... Holy crap! Her eyes briefly narrowed when she saw the same six-winged teenager boy as she was following last night, and she looked away, covering her mouth awkwardly. Talk about coincidences...we're in the same class! I mean, he doesn't know who I am, but I do. At least I know what his Quirk does, not that isn't straightforward enough anyways.

She wasn’t going to wait through the last minutes before class doing nothing though, so she took the time to stand up and walk two seats across towards Jett’s and Kaida’s seats, keeping her stationery on her desk to mark it at her spot. Hatori sat on one of the vacant seats in a casual pose with one of her knees crossed onto the other. It wasn’t nearly as easy as she thought it would be, since Hatori was in her school skirt and not the exercise shorts she normally wore outside of class, and she wanted to avoid the embarassment.

She could immediately tell that neither of them looked Japanese, which meant that they were likely foreigners, and by the way the girl had just addressed the guy, Hatori could definitely tell that she had a noticeable accent. Hatori hadn’t heard the guy talk himself, though if the two foreigners were meeting together as soon as they saw each other, they must have known each other before.

”Well, if either of you are in Delta with me, we could get to work together, though in the more likely chance you’re both in different teams, I wish you the best of luck,” Hatori let out a grin and thrusted her hand out for either one of them to shake. ”Chiwa Hatori. I normally don’t see that many foreigners here, and in Japan we usually refer to other classmates by their surname, but if it makes you more comfortable, Chiwa is fine.”

Luelle groaned as she sat up yawning. Her phone alarm was going crazy with both sound and vibration. She reached over and turned it off. She did have an alarm clock, but it got damaged somehow on the plane ride over so now she had to find a way to get a new alarm clock. She got up and proceeded to get dressed for school. She hummed as she finished, placing small bracelets on. Brushing her silver white hair, she grabbed her bag and rushed out.

Running out the door of the dorm, she stopped when she saw the blonde male from the dorm dinner and she walked up to him.

”Oh hey, Roy right?” She asked

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy sat scrolling on his phone looking at the news, he felt a shadow come over him and he looked up seeing it was the pretty girl in the komono from last night. She seemed to have recalled his name though he had never officially introduced himself to her, he smirked a bit as he stood up to greet the girl.

"Yep, Goodmorning. Sorry to burden you but could you possibly do me a favor? See there is this girl with pink hair, about your height. She is pretty much borderline a narcoleptic, I was wondering if you give a couple knocks on her door to wake her up for me please." he spoke quickly.

Roy jumped as he had just realized something, his face turning a little red. "I'm sorry, I don't think I we met officially. Though I suppose you and Mamoru are friends, I don't know your name"

Sarge

Sarge had been in the breakroom eating breakfast and preparing for the day, his early morning meal conisted of high protein as well as foods that gave him a lot of energy. Protein Oatmeal, fruits, eggs, Peanut butter bagels, he had enough to feed 3 people, though for such a big guy he ate much more dignified than one would think. Napkin in lap and using the appropriate silverware, its quite a sight to behold at first glance from such a solid guy. He was engrossed on the tv, tuned in the the news channel as they displayed the weather for the day.

Kasuke Mina

Mina woke up at 7:30, tired and ticked off. She was still annoyed that Haruka had answered her last question with silence and walked away. She also felt some regret for the way she dismissed Donny. She'd have to make it up to him. She did a morning jog around the school; one lap just to take the stiffness out of her joints, followed by stretches in the shower, and a walking breakfast. She arrived in class on the dot, and took her seat, wondering what they'd learn today, only to audibly groan when it was another practical exercise. She still hadn't fully recovered from yesterday's!

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi ended up not tagging along. The heat made her sleepy, and she retired early. The sheep girl woke up, still in her uniform, and her hair still in the cute ponytail that Hitomi had enthusiastically glomped the small girl in thanks for. She decided to keep it. She wondered if she should change when she noticed the time, and instead quickly sprayed deodorant on herself.

However, when she got to her support class for the morning, she found a note on the door telling her that today she'd be taking part in the Hero Exercise due to a number shortage. She gulped. An actual Hero....Exercise? The sheep girl timidly knocked on the door and entered the classroom, finding a spare seat and looking really uncomfortable with where she was.

Mako Akane

Mako entered the breakroom, still yawning and stretching from the few hours work she'd already done, and sitting across from Sarge. She grinned. "You know, I don't think I've ever seen you eat before," she commented, pulling a beer from the minifridge and cracking it open. "You never struck me as the type to eat with the manners of a gentleman in the breakroom"

Luelle blinked and rubbed the back of her head blushing. ”Oh I’m sorry; My name is Luelle Hailey, I am Mamoru’s roommate. Is Mamoru the one you are waiting for or is it another girl with pink hair?” She asked looking at the blonde male.

Slowly the wind picked up a small bit, blowing the blue skirt that was part of her uniform and her hands instinctively went to her lap to hold her skirt down.

Chiwa Hatori
Acion Nakamiji

Jett noticed Kaida coming over, sitting up straighter in his chair to be polite. As she sat down next to him on his right and asked him how he was doing, he smiled and nodded. “I’m doing all right. Thanks for asking,” he replied. He was about to apologize for not coming back down the night before like he said he was going to, before Acion came over and asked if she was ready for her first class. It suddenly hit Jett that yesterday and now, he actually sounded like a normal kid…and not one who was stuck in a Shakespearean play. He actually kind of wanted to hear one of his own cringeworthy lines.

Kaida nodded with a smile, glad that he was indeed feeling better. To be honest, she was kinda bummed that he didn’t come back down for dinner, and was still a little worried about him. She was pulled away from Jett though as she heard a familiar voice to her left. It was Acion, asking if she was ready for her first class. She nodded; Kaida was actually worried, as she did notice the groups on the board and that meant that perhaps she was going to have to fight, and she had to make sure to keep her Quirk in check.

”Yes! I’m excited, and also a little nervous. Everyone in class seems waaaaay more adept than I am…” In part it was true. She limited herself severely with her Quirk, while the others would have full range of theirs. Kaida at least hoped that she would be allowed to use her sword. But before she could ask anything, another girl came up to them, one she had not met yet.

”Why do you think so?” It’s true that Acion had met some people who had problems with their confidence. Reina, for example, was an extreme version. Not that Kaida was being like that, but after all the encounters, it would not be unreasonable to assume so. But he may be wrong. She may simply be trying to be humble. He also wondered about her quirks, as well, but he could simply wait until the exercise commences.

”But that nervousness can be a good thing. Because it is basically preparing yourself for the task.” Acion then looked to the board, at the group they were all assigned, as the dark-haired side ponytailed girl introduced herself. ”Looks like we are all each other’s opponents for this one. Be sure to pay close attention to your surroundings.” He hinted at his own fighting style without directly stating it; and by surroundings, he meant from the skies above.

As Hatori had introduced herself to the two, Kaida listened; when she thrusted her hand out for a handshake, she smiled and took it gently with hers. “Thank you, Chiwa. That is too kind of you. My name is Kaida Beaumont. It's a pleasure to meet you.”

Jett waited to see if she offered her hand to him, then offer his, if she didn’t he wouldn’t bother raising his hand. “Whatever you prefer Hatori Chiwa, While my father and mother are foreigners, I was born and raised in Japan.” He said with a smile. “It’s nice to meet you as well, My name is Jett Haven.”

”So you’re Kaida, and you’re Jett,” Hatori reaffirmed, pointing to the girl and the teenage boy respectively. Hatori certainly wouldn’t have expected Jett’s background, though it did explain his lack of a heavy accent in his speech. She paid the other winged teenager boy a short glance as he had also jumped into the conversation as she did, and instinctively paused for a moment for continuing. ”That means we’re all on different teams. I hope you all make it through, so that we can demonstrate each other’s skills...I’m certainly not going to hold back.”

Hatori had also picked up on parts of the conversation the three had before they joined in, and decided to give her input as well. She was never one to underestimate her opponents, even if they seemed small and weak at first. ”I won’t consider that something to be nervous about; if you think about it, if there’s always someone better…” she extended a thumb towards her shoulder, ”It makes me all the more motivated to beat them. I can learn a thing or two from someone I think is stronger.”

She looked at the winged teenager, finally curious about his identity; it seems like the other two had already knew who he was, but Hatori definitely did not. With what he said, however, it seemed like he was also on a completely different team from Kaida, Jett, or her. ”What’s your name, by the way?” She asked the winged teenager, not feeling nearly as awkward as she was before.

”It’s Acion. Acion Nakamiji. It is a pleasure to be your acquaintance,” Acion bowed slightly in a polite gesture as Kaida then spoke.

Acion Nakamiji. Hatori made a mental note in her mind; since it was her first day here, Hatori wanted to make sure she was able to recognize every one of her classmates so she could learn more about them in the future. Acion was easy enough to remember, especially since those six large wings made him stick out like a sore thumb from all the other classmates present in the room. His mannerisms and language was a bit archaic as well, which reminded her of one of those NPCs in those fantasy RPGs. Hehehe...even his name sounds like it comes from an RPG!

Kaida shrugged and blushed slightly. “I don’t know…it looks like others have been training for their entire life. I’ve really only trained for a few years…and not with my Quirk,” It wasn’t a lie. She didn’t really use her Quirk besides the strength she got from being in her normal form. She nodded as Acion commented on paying attention to their surroundings, and found it odd that he would say something like that, but paid it no attention. Chiwa also chimed in on the upcoming battle; she certainly seemed confident enough. ”I-I just don't want to make a fool of myself,” Kaida said quietly.

Jett listened quietly to the three talk, and then added: ”You’re not going to make a fool of yourself. Roy already did that with getting kicked in the head by Kasuke,” he said with amusement.

”This is all practice anyway, so don’t worry about it too much at the moment. We’re all here to learn and grow.” Jett added with a confident smile. He too was interested in what Kaida’s Quirk was, though she did not seem like one to freely give out that information. His thoughts turned to his own Quirk. He had tried a few times this morning but still had no control over his abilities, which meant that he was technically the weakest in his entire class at the moment. He would have to be extra diligent on using his environment to his advantage and using others’ Quirks against them, at least for the ones he did remember.

He looked at the other two, but mostly towards Acion. ”I only hope it doesn’t turn into a shitstorm like yesterday. Someone keep Mamoru away from the heavy equipment,” Jett said.

As Kaida timidly explained about humility, Acion was instantly reminded of yesterday. While he did not exactly make a fool of himself on the battlefield, he did make himself look like some sort of idiot. Most importantly, he did make a horrible mistake that afternoon, which nearly resulted in someone’s death. For a hero, it was not just embarrassing, but also humiliating. But there would be no use talking to all three of them about it.

Acion stood up and walked to Kaida, and patted her shoulder, while looking into her deep indigo-colored eyes. ”The fact that you’re here shows that you have some potential. And I don’t believe anyone in this class would be a jerk to laugh at someone who is working hard to improve themselves.” He took a look around the class, and gazed into her eyes again. ”Yeah. So if that lift your worries off a little bit…”

Jett then reminded him the incident yesterday at the exercise. He looked at Acion in particular out the four of them, aside from him of course. Acion was the one having the most overview of what happened, since he was flying right above it the moment it happened. A flashback of the chaos returned briefly...

”Yes, necessarily.” He replied to Jett, his tone spilled with a myriad of emotions, from worries to doubts. Especially when the image that Acion was imagining was not a peaceful one. He then turned to Kaida and patted her shoulder again. ”You’re with her. Perhaps you can be the one to do that.”

Kaida’s response immediately reminded Hatori of her younger years; she had only truly discovered her Quirk a little later than a normal child would, and was significantly delayed on her natural Quirk’s development until only a few years ago when she entered junior high. Though in Kaida’s case, she apparently hasn’t trained her Quirk very much, if at all, which begged the question of how Kaida was able to get into Komei in the first place. But it wasn’t Hatori’s right to make assumptions of other people.

Hatori nodded in agreement to Acion and Jett’s words of encouragement, and decided to add in her own feedback as well. She was curious who this Mamoru actually was, though with the way Jett talked about her – or him, she couldn’t really tell Mamoru’s gender by her name – it seems like she was a reckless classmate. Another short glance at the blackboard showed that Mamoru was in the same team as Kaida. Hatori wondered what that mean for Mamoru as an opponent; Jett mentioned something about heavy equipment, though there wasn’t very much information for Hatori to go off of. She only knew one thing about reckless fighters; if they were reckless enough to put themselves in harm’s way, they were definitely reckless enough to be an unpredictable and wild opponent in a fight. Hatori may have to keep her distance from whoever this Mamoru was.

Jett had also mentioned some other classmates, namely Roy and Kasuke, who were also on the board, the latter being part of Jett’s group. They were only mentioned in a passing sentence, so Hatori expected to learn more about them later when they came into class.

Kaida looked to Jett and Acion as they mentioned keeping someone away from heavy equipment the name sounded familiar. Mamoru...was that the pink haired girl that scared her yesterday in her room? She seemed not like one to cause so much chaos to which Jett AND Acion were hinting to in their tones. She seemed more hyper and silly than dangerous.

”What do you mean? What happened yesterday?" she asked, looking at Acion’s hand as he kept on patting her shoulder. She slowly turned in towards her seat, repositioning herself so he would not do it again. While she did not mind Acion, she preferred not to be touched that way by a guy she did not know particularly much about. Kaida wouldn’t mind if it was someone like Roy and Jett touching her, people she recognized and knew well. However, she didn’t want to be straight up rude to the boy and tell him not to touch her again. Also, what was she supposed to do about this girl? She didn’t even know her as well, save for a brief encounter at the dorm halls maybe.

The question caused Acion to stop his patting as he looked toward Jett. His expressions were unreadable; it was an inevitable question. ”She threw a number of heavy machineries at her opponents. Trucks, cranes and other kinds of things. Casualties...well...”–he shrugged his shoulders–”one critical injury, one minor injury, and the whole fight was stalled for a few minutes to get the situation resolved.”

“All while we couldn’t see them coming due to the dust cloud. I mean she jumped through a truck windshield as well. The girl is crazy.” Jett added glancing to Kaida and Chiwa. He glanced up towards the door to see Kasuke walk in, past him and sit down, letting out an audible groan after she looked up at the board. ”You know…. I’m not that bad to work with…” He said with a smirk.

Hatori glanced at the three, blinking and grabbing the table she was sitting on with one arm. Their dialogue was so vague she couldn’t make out what Mamoru’s Quirk was, though with how Acion said it, her Quirk definitely allowed her to do great physical attacks, which suggested something along the line of physical enhancement, like super-strength.

That being said, Acion’s testimony made out Mamoru to be way more reckless than she thought; Hatori acknowledged well the benefits of training and sparring with others but not to the level of injury. Hatori compared it to a weight-lifting workout – it was great and all to push your limits, but getting injured from a workout could be potentially hazardous to one’s muscles and joints and in worst case scenarios could start tearing muscles or fracturing bones. Quirk training was no different. She had heard of people who have gotten seriously injured to the degree of permanently disabling their Quirk. Hatori hoped the same didn’t happen here.

”I hope you control her, Kaida,” Hatori added. ”While heroes will fight many villains, they must also make sure they don’t accidentally hurt innocent civilians while they’re at it. Rescuing and making sure civilians are safe is also a part of the job. Recklessness wouldn’t nearly be as acceptable as it is now when we actually have to do field work in the future.”

”At least she is cooperative enough. Here I have my own fair share of crazy fighters to control,” Acion said as he looked at the board of teams. It would be nice to have someone like Roy or Jett with him in his team, who were at least responsive. And from Acion’s observance – he wasn’t entirely sure – it was likely that he would have to pull his team together. But it was fine enough for him. A good leader can make anyone work well.

”Well, it certainly is nice to talk to both of you. And make sure that I will be meeting you later on the battlefield.” Acion said, as he headed back to his desk, as class would soon begin.

Hatori slid off the table seat as more classmates were coming in and stood up. ”I think class will be starting soon, so let’s hope we see each other again. Whatever happened in the fight yesterday, I hope it doesn’t happen this time,” Hatori said, going across the tables to go sit at her own.

Mamoru awoke in her bed, somewhat sticky and wearing some parts of her uniform. While her top was off she was still wearing her stockings, which made her feel a tad uncomfortable. They felt very stuffy. This Mamoru jumped out of bed and went to deal with the Classic morning ritual of finding herself fresh regalia, cleansing the body of filth and impurities, and refueling to confront today’s new challenges. That is to say, change clothes, use the bathroom, and get breakfast.

By the time Mamoru was done it was roughly 0730, give or take. She didn’t remember when she woke up by she did know she took her sweet time in the shower. Her breakfast was packed with nutrients, eating a whole two breakfast sausages, a large bowl of oatmeal, two bananas, an apple, and even a salad. She washed it all down with a bottle of orange juice as she ran out of the dorm in her crisp new uniform.

Mamoru’s arrival to class was uneventful, aside from Mamoru running through the halls and narrowly avoiding people, even the few who actively tried to stop her. To her it was just all good fun. ”Gooooood morning Krusty Krew! What’s on today’s agenda?” Taking her seat Mamoru looked at the board and saw that her name was paired up with others in different groups. Even Mamoru could recognize a team when she saw it. ”Ooooh! New teams! Another battle royal? I wonder where we’re fighting at this time!” Mamoru seemed hype.

Donny had awoken in his room. At some point he left those garbage cans and left a surprise for whoever was throwing away trash (the surprise was there there was no trash and the entire bins were spotless). He lifted himself out of the metal basin that served as his bed; unlike others who needed beds or at least a mat, Donny felt most comfortable in anything that could reliably contain his body when at rest. He disliked how restrictive his meat bag felt when he sleeps, and being on a bed made him feel nervous that he was eventually just going to fall off. And when he just sleeps on the floor his body just naturally spreads itself out everywhere.

Thus after he gathered himself up Donny went to his meat sack. It was somewhat ghastly to see the flayed flesh of a humanoid person hanging off the wall like a coat, but for Donny that was just how he prepared himself in the mornings. He grabbed a fresh meat sack, not the one that was a bit beat up from yesterday, and snuck to the baths. He was all too aware that he smelled like garbage and he needed to get rid of that smell in his room. Fortunately he had an air freshener.

Donny had his breakfast in the bathroom by filling a tub up with water, washing his body and random teeth, then drinking his bath water completely. That was as fulfilling of a meal as a normal breakfast was, which of course Donny still went to make. Unlike last night's dinner, Donny’s breakfast was a simple meal consisting nothing but cereal and milk. Namely a bowl of every cereal in the pantry with milk. He had at least five bowls before he decided that would be enough, though he also packed snacks. He still had the onigiri from yesterday so he tucked that away. He also brought a bit of tubberware and saved himself two slices of cheese cake. He filled up a bottle with water and another with apple juice. Lastly, a bag of Machiko’s cookies. ”This ought to last me to lunch.”

Once everything was packed Donny left the dorms and went to his home room. He was trying to feel excited but frankly he was rather anxious. He knew this was a hero school and they were going to do a lot of hardcore stuff. He just kinda hoped that maybe the first day of class was just sort of a crash course, and afterwards they’ll take it a bit more slow with this hero stuff. So it didn’t make him feel any better when he entered class and saw that his name was paired up with multiple others. He just gulped and shuffled to his seat. ”S-So we’re fighting again…”

Asuka stared out the window at the rapidly dimming vista beneath her. The lights of the city were beginning to flicker and fade, as if the town itself was disappearing amidst the shadows of darkened buildings. Distant bolts of light passed on the tracks and streets beneath her, as trains and the gleaming tail lights of automobiles disappeared into the night. She shook her head and turned from the sweeping, wall-length window looking out over the city of Hosu. This entire day really had been a sharp swerve from her ordinary life, so she probably shouldn't have been so surprised, but...

"Your parents are quite well-off, aren't they?" Asuka observed, turning to the girl seated on one of the large sofas in front of the large home entertainment system that took up practically the entire back wall of the living room.

"I suppose," Harukaze answered absentmindedly, taking a long swig of a canned cola before taking a long sigh, as if she was in a sponsored commercial or something and wanted to show how refreshed she was. That, or she looked like an office lady returned from a long day's work, kicking back and relaxing by breaking open a cold one. Given her traveling companion's rather dramatic fashion style, Asuka suddenly found herself wondering if her odd host was actually trying to give off that sort of vibe. Weird.

Strolling across the living room, she wandered over to the kitchen area on the opposite side of the penthouse's main floor. Everything was all so modern and western styled, it threw her for a bit of a loop. Compared to the rural lifestyle she was used to, this was... Well, she supposed she didn't mind it so much. Being a country bumpkin got boring rather fast, in her "cultured" opinion. The opulence of high society, on the other hand...

She reached into the fridge and snagged an orange soda, then went back over and tossed herself down on the sofa opposite Harukaze. The dark haired girl didn't seem to acknowledge her, and just kept staring off into space. So, Asuka followed suit, glancing idly up towards the second floor balcony. Apparently, the two smaller adjacent bedrooms up there would be where she and Harukaze would be staying, so she probably should have gone to check out what exactly her room was like, considering how different everything else was from what she was accustomed to... But right now, she just couldn't find it in herself to care.

She sighed. She'd only just arrived, and already things were a total mess. If only her parents' schedules hadn't changed at the last moment. Then they could have just come along and satisfied themselves that things were fine without forcing her to take time out of her own life to play babysitter for a sister who preferred to act like she didn't exist. What was she even supposed to be doing here, anyway? "Making sure Fumika was adjusting to her new school?" And how, pray tell, was she supposed to do that? Should she force her utterly unresponsive sibling to actually give a damn about other people;s opinions for once? She'd get better results talking to a brick wall. And what was all this nonsense with Harukaze? It was a pain, that was what it was. None of this should have been any of her business, so why did she have to come all this way? The more she thought about it, the more she wondered if her parents' schedules hadn't changed just a little bit too conveniently, and if this wasn't just some kind of ploy to force Harukaze to come along with her...

Speaking of which, now that she thought about it, something else was strange here, too. They were supposed to be staying with Harukaze's parents, but... She eyed the doorway to the first floor master bedroom suite suspiciously. It was sitting slightly ajar, and the lights were off inside. There hadn't been any signs of movement since the two of them had entered a few minutes earlier, and she hadn't seen any shoes in the entryway save for their own.

"Say, Harukaze-san, this is your parents' apartment, right?" Once again, the voice of her guest broke Haruka from her reverie. She glanced over at where the younger Motome was lounging boredly on the other sofa, shooting a sidelong glance at her with piercing aquamarine eyes. Every time she made eye contact with Fumika's sister, the same impression always struck her. It was like looking at a mirror image of Fumika herself, and yet... Their expressions couldn't have been more different. Fumika's spacey attitude and vacant, wandering gaze made her seem like a sleepwalker, while Asuka's keen stare seemed to cut right through the air between them, with such awareness and focus that it seemed like her eyes could turn you to stone.

"Whaddya mean by that?" Haruka shot back, raising an eyebrow. It was a stupid question, in her opinion. If it wasn't her parents' penthouse, then how the hell would she have gotten in?

"I mean, I don't see any signs of anyone but us. They didn't just rent this place so we could use it, did they?"

Haruka breathed a faint sigh. Another annoying thing she'd have to explain, even though she really didn't want to get into it. Whatever. She was used to questions like this, at least. "No, it isn't. This really is where they live. You probably won't be seeing them, though." Asuka raised an eyebrow at this. "They take the very last train back, so they only get here late. Then they head out as soon as they get up, so basically, we'll have the place to ourselves." She explained as quickly as she could, wanting to wave off any unnecesary questions... Then again, there were a few ground rules she'd have to lay out, so she might as well get past all of this nuisance at once. "Speaking of which, they don't like being disturbed, since they don't get much sleep, so try not to make any noise or get in the way during the night or morning. Those are the conditions for letting us stay here."

"Letting 'us' stay? Isn't that pretty strange?" Asuka parroted back skeptically. Haruka nodded bluntly, and Asuka's already raised brow seemed practically ready to separate itself from her face and float away.

There it was again. Another annoying thing she didn't want to think about. Haruka shot upright as quickly as she could, her crutches striking the floor a little more violently than she intended. She downed the rest of her drink in a single gulp, crushed the can with a loud crunch, then tossed the flattened remains into the nearest wastebasket. She stopped only for a moment to pick up her luggage from the hallway before hobbling up the stairs with surprising swiftness.

"I'm going to finish moving my things into my room. You should do the same." Glancing back over her shoulder, she gave her guest a very pointed stare, giving only this terse response. And yet, the curious girl clearly didn't get the hint.

"Wait, I mean, you're their daughter, right? That's totally weird-"

"I wonder?" Haruka shot back, swinging open the door of her room, then slamming it just as quickly shut behind her. Sighing, she tossed down her bag next to the bed, then flung herself down, throwing her crutch to the floor. Why? Why was it that the things she just wanted to ignore kept coming back and flinging themselves in front of her? Why couldn't the world just leave her alone?

She reached into her bag. She didn't have the energy to even stand up and change into her bedclothes, but this, at least, was non-negotiable. Unzipping a hidden compartment at the bottom of her luggage, she withdrew a small plush rabbit, its long ears flapping slightly as she held it up above her. Its gold eyes seemed to be staring back at her, as if alive, as if understanding how she felt.

Why couldn't things be simple, like they had back then? She hugged the black rabbit close to her, and rolled over to bury her face in the covers, drowning the unwanted thoughts of the day she'd just suffered through with the more palatable memories of the past.

It might have been weakness, but she'd had to keep strong for so long. Surely, to feel this way wasn't a sin.

The first thing which Fumika became aware of on the following morning was that she was cold. The second was that her body felt incredibly stiff, and even though her thoughts were back up to 100%, she still felt tired. She pushed herself upright and rubbed her eyes, trying to clear the overhang of fluff that blinded her to her surroundings. When her vision was finally clear, she looked around herself and found...

Huh? Where am I, exactly?

It took her a moment before the electricity coursed through her hair, causing it to fluff up like the mane of an angry cat, the tuft that had fallen over her face righting itself and curling upward in its usual antenna-like position. Accessing her memories of the previous night, she immediately set the record straight.

She'd finished dinner as quickly as possible, but Asuka had still been glaring at her, and Haruka had seemed angry and sad, so she decided she'd send them away so Haruka would feel better. Then she'd gone back to her room to go to sleep, but found that the lights were already off, and somebody else seemed to be sleeping there. She hadn't wanted to wake them, so she'd gone off to look for somewhere else to sleep, leading her to occupy one of the couches down in the lobby once all the lights had been turned off and everybody had turned in for the night. Fortunately, she'd been low on charge, so it hadn't been tough to fall asleep, but now... Her entire body felt really stiff, like... a stick... or jello that had been put in the fridge for too long. Ew. Jello tasted weird, but frozen jello seemed like it'd just be like... really yucky ice cream. Also, didn't that defeat the purpose of jello? Jello was supposed to be squishy, but if you froze it, it wouldn't be squishy anymore. Clearly, that didn't make sense.

In any case, she was cold and uncomfortable, just like the hypothetical frozen jello which some weird person who didn't understand how jello was supposed to work might conceivably make. Also, it looked like it was only about an hour until class time, and she needed to get ready... She supposed she'd just have to head back to her room.

Fortunately, it seemed that by the time she got there, her roommate had already gotten up and left, so at least she wasn't waking her up or inconveniencing her this way. Unfortunately, she didn't have much time to get ready. She preferred to spend at least half and hour drying off after a shower, and then at least an hour longer to make sure any lingering moisture completely evaporated, to make sure her hair was completely dry so it wouldn't malfunction if she needed to use her Quirk. But, unfortunately, she didn't have the luxury of time, so she ended up having to rush. Taking a very quick shower - which was, in her opinion, the worst kind - she was just getting ready to go about her usual routine when she realized that there was another awkward problem. The bathrooms here were communal for each gender... So that meant she couldn't actually step out of the shower stall without risking somebody seeing her back. Unconsciously, she ran her hand over the crisscrossing network of knotted, burnt red flesh running upward from her right hip and tracing its way upward along her spine. It was an ugly sight. Nobody should have had to look at something so disgusting as that. It would bother people. The other girls might scream or run away. She had to come up with something... But she couldn't use her Quirk. Her hair was still dripping wet, so she'd just short-circuit herself if she tried. Ah... this was bad. No matter how she thought about it, there was only one thing she could do.

Slipping her hand out from behind the curtain, she snatched up her towel from where it hung up outside, then spent just a few minutes drying herself off. Then, she draped her small towel over her back, stepped out of the shower stall, and proceeded to walk not only through the bathroom, but also out into the hallway and across it to her own room. It felt a little weird, being clearly indoors in a building with other people, but not wearing anything to cover herself at all. She was pretty sure a few people were staring at her. But that was fine. They couldn't see her back, so it wouldn't bother them, right? After all, nothing was wrong with the rest of her. Reasoning thus, she made her way back to her room.

Her roommate still was nowhere to be seen, so that saved her the trouble of having to hide her back any further. Dropping her towel, she set about the arduous task of combing through her gigantic fluffy mane again and again, running a hair dryer over it for what felt like an eternity until it felt completely dry, save for some lingering dampness at the end of each strand. Unfortunately, there were only about ten minutes left before class... She wouldn't make it if she didn't leave soon, so she'd just have to head out as she was and hope that the wind would dry it off before she had to use her Quirk. Standing up, she headed to the door. But, stepping over the towel she discarded, she realized something was wrong. Namely, in all that time, she still hadn't actually gotten dressed.

Oh. Right. I need to wear clothes. Otherwise, they'll see my back.

After a few panicked minutes of scrambling to get her uniform on in a manner that seemed right - which took a lot longer than you might expect, since she remembered perfectly how it was supposed to look, and couldn't seem to get it quite correct. Nevertheless, once she'd managed to get her tie aligned just right with her collar, she threw on her coat and rushed out the door.

A few minutes later, she arrived at class, surprisingly faster than expected. Rubbing the sweat from her forehead, she walked in, only to stop in front of the blackboard.

Huh? Teams? What are these...?

She looked until her own name jumped out at her, and right beside it was...

That's odd. Did my heart just started going faster? That seemed... kind of worrying. That wasn't normal, at any rate. Was something wrong with her? Did she get sick from sleeping without a blanket? No, that probably wasn't it. Then again, she had just run a very long way, so she was probably just still feeling the adrenaline. Anyway, it was time for class, so she figured she'd go sit down. Normally, she preferred to always sit in the same seat, but she'd sat in two places on the previous day - first beside Jett, and then later next to the Main Character Seat. But, of those two locations, the former already looked pretty crowded, and she didn't want to bother anyone...

If she'd been paying more attention, she might have noticed that she was already heading toward Yoshida's usual seat before she even realized any of these things. But, she was still sleepy, and thus the thought never struck her. Besides, she was distracted. She didn't feel at all like she had during the previous day's exercise, when she'd been nervous and desperate to prove herself. Because this time...

I get to be on a team with Yoshida! He's nice, and he's cool, and maybe I can help him out so I won't be a burden to him, and then he'll praise me again!

To anyone in the know, it might have seemed odd that despite the fact that her expression remained blank, the faintest hints of a tentative, nervous and yet hopeful smile were playing at the edges of Fumika's lips. What's more, her ahoge was bobbing back and forth with barely controlled excitement as she strolled purposefully across the room, set her bag down next to the desk in the corner, and then seated herself with the air of someone awaiting an eagerly anticipated movie to begin. This opportunity was all but miraculous, and she wouldn't have missed it for the world!

The cute springy ponytail was dangling behind Hitomi her head. It was real fluffy but somewhat scary to see how the hair wanted to jump everywhere almost like the hair tie would snap any moment. A stuttering awkward laugh left her vocals as Tomoe stepped back two steps to not get that hair tie right back in her face again. A huff of relief sounded as It did seem to stay put though despite the exploding hair behind Hitomi her head. Tomoe was happy at least that the hair still looked pretty though, Hitomi obviously seemed surprised by how good it looked too showing it with by affectionately glomping the small pink girl. Tomoe helplessly flailed her arms around as she was murdered by Hitomi her chest. A muffled terrified yell erupted from the small girl her mouth as if she was begging for forgiveness but it was to no use, the sheep girl was too happy and thankful for her new hairstyle. After the last breath escaped Tomoe her lungs her hands fell down by her side as she was leaning on Hitomi now with only her head. End credits roll, that was the story of Tomoe.

Tomoe eventually got free of the grasp of Hitomi panting heavily as she was slowly regaining her breath again. Hitomi was scary, she gave Hitomi a short awkward smile as if she was happy with Hitomi her deadly kindness. Tomoe pushed herself away a foot away from Hitomi not wanting to end up in the same situation again. Despites Hitomi having the new hairstyle and all she still didn’t feel well from the heat. It was a bit sad for her to leave them so soon but Tomoe understood why she wanted to get away from her to save heaven again. Tomoe looking a little concerned for the sheep girl despites all sadness gave a sweet smile and a wave of goodbye. They would be seeing each other tomorrow again so it wasn’t the saddest thing in the world. Without much word left from either Tomoe and Hitomi they parted leaving Tomoe and Mamoru to their own.

It didn’t take long for the two of them to leave the dining area of the dorms either. They were headed for Mamoru her room which was luckily on the same floor as hers. Tomoe wanted to spend as little energy as possible. Tomoe was met with the same identical room as hers, it had a few things of Mamoru and her partner as decorations and off course the standard beds unlike Tomoe, but furthermore exactly the same. Tomoe drowsily gazed around the room inspecting it carefully. She gazed back at Mamoru expecting something to happen. Mamoru was already digging through her closet to find something cute for Tomoe. With her mouth agape she stared at the back of Mamoru till she had some clothes and so the dressing party began.

It didn’t turn out to be crazy or weird clothes, only a few pair of cute and proper clothes before they decided to stop because off Tomoe her tiredness. It was difficult to put on clothes onto a sleeping person so this would continue some other time when Tomoe wasn’t as sleepy as this. Tomoe tiredly waved Mamoru goodbye before leaving for her own room. Tomoe was wearing one of Mamoru her hoodies and shorts so she had some clean clothes for now. She dropped face flat onto her own warm bed and pushed herself into it properly. She grabbed one part of the sheets and rolled herself into them still wearing Mamoru her clothes. Happily she fell asleep within seconds dreaming about cute sheeps hoping over her in her sleep.

Late at night the room door of houses Tomoe opened once more. The small pink girl wrapped in blankets waddled out of her room unknowing of any cameras or teachers. With a tired look in her eyes she waddled further into the hallway while lightly rubbing the sleep out of her eye. It wasn’t a long walk for the fridge so the chance of being seen was low. The light of the fridge made her squint her eyes. Her eyes slowly boggled over all the food that was in it. Tomoe decided on a bowl of cereal and sat down on the ground by the kitchen drawers and softly eat her cereal before heading to bed once more sleeping in an instant again.

The alarm clock next to Tomoe her bed went off soft at first but turning louder and louder as time went on till the point of ear damage. Tomoe groaned as her hand slapped to the side of her onto the alarm clock. Her eyes slowly opened staring up at the ceiling a bit disappointed that she had to stop sleeping already. She turned to her side as she grabbed one of her plushies and started hugging it. Her face digging inside the soft cloth of the plushie. Her eyes went over the room to orientate what was happening. It was weird to wake up in this new room, it didn’t feel like hers. She was anxious of getting up and doing her own thing in this room. Her eyes laid still on an old photo of her and her parents in the park. She missed them already, she missed the dinner, watching television on the couch together, morning breakfast together. It was so quiet in her room at this time. Hitomi had already left it seemed like. She had to get up on her own. Tomoe pushed herself upright and made a long out stretch before digging the sleep out of her eyes. Her eyes met with the weird hoodie she was wearing. It wasn’t hers. Thinking back on it it was Mamoru’s hoodie and shorts. She sniffled one of the sleeves meeting a pleasant smell. This was nice. She held both sleeves in front of her nose smelling the flower like smell. Mamoru smelled nice. Just as she closed her eyes and transitioned away her body made a small jump in the bed.

What time was it? Her eyes dashed to the alarm clock. AH! 7:50! It took a ton of time to get to the other building already. Her face went somewhat into shock not knowing what to do. Her mother wasn’t there to help her prepare either. Wait where was her uniform!? Was it still at Mamoru her room AH! Tomoe tripped out of bed falling over her sheets making quite a hard tud onto the ground before frantically dashing around the room to get everything done. She had found her uniform hanging in the hallway on her doorknob which was lucky for her. Quickly she washed off her face which only took a few minutes, her hair was still undone from yesterday so she had to find a hair tie somewhere. Clothes! Washing the rest of her body! Brushing teeth! Eating! Packing her bag! It was all done within 7 minutes. With her skirt inside out her tie loose around her neck, her hair still undone, the hair tie around her wrist, her blouse half tucked into her skirt, her socks hanging on her ankles and a slice of bread in her mouth she dashed out of her room with the bag in one of her hands. She was jumping down the stairs her skirt flying up with each jump hoping that no one saw her bad rushing manners, dashing through hallways over the school grounds she made her way to the school building. She had no perception of time with her so she just had to guess she was not late. Quickly the door rushed open as the 3 minute late Tomoe dropped in. Sweat was dripping from her face as she gulped down the last piece of bread with still some jam on the side of her mouth. Her hair was jumping everywhere, it was a mess. She shockingly made her way in seeming defeated by her rushing. Without a word she strolled past everyone in the classroom, sat down and dropped her head onto the desk where she gave a tired sigh and closed her eyes looking quite troubled by her morning.

Kasuke Mina

When Jett remarked about he wasn't that bad to work with the turned to him and saw him chatting to Kaida among other people, a fact that she'd been trying to ignore as it reminded her constantly about the hug which was bothering her more than it should. She'd given up trying to to make sense of her emotions. She was sick of them. All she knew was that her pain was connected to Jett, so no Jett, no pain. Even so, it would be rude not to answer him at all. She answer his question. That was it. Answer his question and say nothing else to to him unless manners dictated otherwise.

"It's nothing personal. I just haven't recovered from yesterday. Besides, you're not the teammate I'm weary about. It's a pity we can't beat the other teams by sending broken tables flying into them."

She stopped herself, and turned back to the board. She had just told herself to answer the question and nothing more, and she was about ready to talk Jett's ear off just then. She'd never had problems sticking to her own self-promises before. The fourth member of their group was a girl called Kishimoto. Tomoe Kishimoto. Mina had never seen her before, but knowing their luck, it was that small sleepy girl that just walked in bashfully...oh, please don't let me be right...

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi didn't know two of the students on her team, but she did know one; Roy Kusayanagi. The former Support Class first year, albeit for less than a day. That said, she didn't see him in this room, cloak or no cloak. She would be relying on him to know who or where the other two students were; Ayato and Joann. When Tomoe entered, just on the safe side of late, Hitomi smiled and discreetly waved from across the classroom, hair still in the ponytail from yesterday.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga woke up at six o’clock sharp, without an alarm even. That was just how early she had to wake up at home. It wasn’t always just hunting and taking care of her guns, she needed to wake up and start the fire, find food, check the gardens. Even if she doesn’t do that anymore it was still a habit of hers, and she has found other things to do in that time. Like take long baths. Water was something that Dulga’s family conserved as much as possible back at home, and she had no problems take advantage of Komei’s near infinite supply. She enjoyed a private soak and took in the scents, and it was one of the few times Dulga was ever without a mask or cloak.

After bathing Dulga got dressed. Nothing fancy: she wore her uniform with pants and boots. While most girls were assigned skirts, Dulga had to have her clothes specially tailored to accommodate her quirk. She also asked for pants simply because that’s what she preferred. Dulga’s boots were tough and military quality; she could hammer a metal stake into the ground with them and she has before. Finally of course her mask and cloak. The cleaned the mask with a microfiber cloth, making sure to remove any residue of sweat and dirt. Her mask helped control and mask her breathing, and filter out unpleasant scents. Not to mention hiding her scars, which went to her left cheek. What covered the rest, including Dulga’s arms, was her cloak. Dulga washed her mother’s cloth every few days or after a particularly messy incident, and often by hand. She wouldn’t trust a machine to take care of it.

For breakfast Dulga had eggs on toast with some milk. While there was probably more available Dulga had simply tastes. She didn’t even add any salt or pepper. Once breakfast was done it was still seven in the morning. She had an hour before it was time for class. So she returned to her dorm and retrieved one of her gun cases. She had finished her room after dinner, which mostly consisted of putting her clothes and guns away. Now her weapons were stored inside a heavy metal and ceramic locker, and her gun cases neatly tucked underneath her bed. Dulga took one gun case with her this time, the same one as yesterday. She packed her rifles, took some ammo, and headed to the range to do some shooting. Once it was seven forty-five, Dulga went to class.

By the time Dulga arrived many others have already shown up. She also noticed the names on the board and guessed that they were going to be split up into teams. She wondered what it’d be about, though if yesterday’s lesson was any indication, they’ll probably do some sort of combat exam. With so many teams perhaps they’ll be split up into “Hero” and “Villain” teams and made to fulfill some objectives. Or maybe it was just going to be a team deathmatch like it was yesterday, but with smaller groups instead of half the class. Either would be okay with Dulga. She came prepared, her large black case in her hands along with her school bag. She took her seat, plugged in her earphones, and listened to music until class would begin.

Ezra Jasekade

After what was an awkward series of events regarding Jett, he had decided to walk out. He hadn't really minded whether he came or not, but it was clear the kid needed a shower and as he didn't feel like going straight to class. He decided that he'd hit the court and get some shots up before deciding to go to class. He didn't feel like doing a full workout nor did he have the time to do so it was natural that he'd go and do what he found optimal.

After a short 30 minute session in which he found the gym empty, he decided to walk back and get ready for school. Seeing that Jett was not there at this point, he had cleaned himself up before putting on his uniform and getting ready to go. He had something to prove this time, given how holding himself back had caused him difficulty in the last piece, and if he had used his quirk he would have found himself on top with ease. He had a chip on his shoulder today for sure.

He had arrived in the class on time, though not early. He had saw that quite a few people were already present, but that was to be expected. Many were excited to attend and were not exactly keen on the idea of attending their second lesson late or even risking that possibility. He wasn't really thinking about that however, he was more so focused on the board and what that had written onto it. He looked for his name after realising that the entire class was present and he found himself on a team with Jett, Mina and Tomoe. He had no idea who Tomoe was, and was all two familiar with the other two given his experiences yesterday.

Who his team were had no conern to him. He could carry anybody to a victory in his mind, and he didn't see a problem with Mina. Jett was stubborn and often quite stupid but he figured he could find use with him regardless. Tomoe, given that he had no idea didn't really interest him, so he figured he'd just ignore it for now. If she wanted to speak to him, she was more than welcome to and he'd happily get acquainted but he didn't really know anything about the new students coming in late due to whatever reasons they might have had.

He figured he'd analyse the teams. He found himself looking at Team Beta next. Mamoru, Dulga, Kaida, Yukari. This was not a bad team. Although 3 of the students he hadn't see perform, Yukari and Dulga were very smart and capable fighters, especially from what he witnessed in the villain psychology classroom. His one on one spar with Yukari, although awkward showcased her strengths and whilst he wasn't that much of a believer, she showed admirable use of equipment and environment but given the spars length he wasn't able to find out more.

Team Charlie. An interesting lineup in his mind, and definitely the wildcard. Roy was the only one he had witnessed and whilst he was definitely miles above him at the moment, he could definitely see this as a step to prove himself. He was a very quick learner and any doubts about his work ethic yesterday were dispelled. The rest, given that he had not seen, he didn't have a clue about. He didn't even know who they were, but perhaps they would show him something.

Team Delta looked very standout to him. Two very high performers from the last test were on there, along with someone he sensed veteran skill from. Yoshida had nuclear athleticism, and extreme speed and strength to compliment his ability, and Fumika had a very high intellect and awareness of how and when to use her abilities as well as the ability to project that girl from what he saw in the tape. Chiwa was someone again he had no idea about, but he couldn't see this squad not performing, given that Kenichi and Fumi were praised for their co-cooperativeness in some sense.

Team Echo. This team looked the most versatile. They held the air with Acion and the underground with Donny. This team would be excellent if the two students he didn't have a measure of ability for were able to perform. Luelle looked small and talented, but he had no idea who Haruka was or what she could do. Most of the teams so far were question marks, and that somewhat annoyed him because he couldn't plan in advance, but he liked the idea they had no idea about his ability or level of skill either. He merely sat back on his chair and put his hands behind his back, thinking.

Chiwa Hatori

The classroom was steadily getting fuller as more and more students walked in, though it seemed as the morning bell came near, a few classmates were still not in class yet. With a quick count – there weren't much students in this class, anyway – Hatori could tell that five of them remained absent. She was hoping one of them wasn't part of her team; Hatori wanted to use the last valuable minutes of her time to get to know her teammates before getting ready for the exercise. Since she wasn't here yesterday, she barely knew anyone, and conversely barely anyone knew her, and those that did knew her only roughly. And on another tangent, her roommate was probably here and Hatori had never even seen her. "Ugh. Can't things get any more easier for me?" Hatori muttered below her breath.

There was one that struck out to Hatori as soon as she walked into the room, however. It was a blonde haired girl, though her hair seemed way whiter than blonde hair should normally be, and it extended way down. It reminded Hatori of the tale of Rapunzel, though she bet Rapunzel wouldn't have such strange hair. There was also that lock of hair that was comically bobbing on the top of her head. That girl was approaching close to where Hatori was sitting, with little to no emotion on her face. Hatori recalled that Dulga had that same lack of emotion on her, though it was for a completely different reason – this girl, she couldn't exactly put her finger on it, but she struck Hatori as peculiar rather than stoic. The white-blonde hair girl sat to the right of the second last seat to the window...

Wait...isn't that where I was sitting?

Hatori swiftly jumped across the freshly organized column of tables, using the chairs to step up and scale across the seats. Her bag was still lying next to Hatori's chair which was getting stolen right in front of her eyes. She had honestly just picked that seat because it was closed to the open shelves where they placed their bags right when class started, and was far enough in the back that she had ready access to the back door. She wouldn't have picked a window seat, however – Hatori was left-handed and the window would just get in the way of her left arm.

She grabbed her schoolbag, which lay opposite to the girl's schoolbag, and placed a hand right on the table right as the strange girl sat down. With Hatori looking down at her, she almost felt like she was in an assertive position, ready to dispute whatever claim the girl had ready for her. On a second thought, someone taking her seat wasn't a really big issue, as she could just take another nearby seat, but Hatori wanted to figure out this girl's personality first...and by the off chance she was actually part of her team.

"I'm sorry, but I've already taken this seat. My bag was here first," Hatori said concisely with a calm tone. She didn't want to antagonize her too much, since Hatori wanted to leave a good first impression. "You're free to sit elsewhere though, maybe near me. We could get to know each other...what's your name, by the way? I'm Chiwa Hatori. Nice to meet you."

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy checked the time once more seeing it was 7:30, he did not want to be late and miss breakfast because of Tomoe. He scratched his head as he was lost in his thoughts totally forgetting Luelle was infront of him. He got up let out a depressing sigh. He should have gotten her contact info at least.

"Yeah the other pink haired girl but it is getting late, I can only have faith at this moment." Roy said grabbing his bag and heading to the cafeteria to grab a bite. He didn't want to waste anymore time as his head was clouded by the confrontation from this morning.

"I'll meet you in class, see ya Luelle" Roy said with grin and a wave, before heading to the main building. What he needed was a high energy breakfast to make up for all the extrenuous activity from earlier. Surviving until afternoon would be a hard feat. Reaching the lunchroom Roy grabbed a cup of orange juice, 2 banana's, a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, and some scrambled eggs. Sitting down by himself, he plugged in some headphones and trailed off into his own world as he watched videos on some pro heroes. His first day of school went pretty good in terms of progress. Learning a few moves from his classmates and implenting them into his own style went fairly decent. Acions feather rain had quite the toll on those who aren't experience, he had to commend that guys abilities despite how strange he could be. While Kenichis moves were rather higher power and high speed. He could not mimick the same amount of finesse as the blue haired lad. There was still more moves he had to try out and test, for the sake of progress and increasing his move pool.

Finishing up the eggs and downing down his orange juice, Roy placed his plate ontop of the garbage can before making way to class. Headphones still in, Roy had a different air around him, it was somewhat tense. He waved to Kaida and Jett. Taking a glance at the board he could see there were teams, the boy could not help but let out a small grin at the chance to redeem himself. He noticed that Luelle was in class, taking his place in the 3rd row, 4th seat. He continued watching his videos as he stocked up on some knowledge and moves from the pros he was hoping to impliment in the next exercise.

Sarge

Sarge continued to eat his breakfast, soon Ms.Mako entered taking a seat in front of him. She hinted at him not looking like the type to have manners, he raised an eyebrow and a small smirk at her comment. That and she was having a beer extremely early in the morning.

He finished chewing before speaking, swallowing and whiping his mouth. "I didn't take you as one to be knocking down a beer at this time." He said before drinking his juice. "This isn't lunch but hopefully this can make up for not being able to eat with you yesterday."

Takeshi was up early to train as well, starting off at 5 AM. While others ran and jumped around buildings, he was training with his sword. Doing forms with his sword, practicing a thousand cuts, and perfecting his control over over the blade, stopping it millimetres from a target. He did train with weights on his wrists as well, constructed from his quirk to also train his endurance for his quirk. His body was freezing and shaking while he held it for a while. But still he pushed through his pain as he continue to practice till he could not control it effectively anymore.

Once done, he took a long hot shower and by 7 he was making sure his sister was awake and getting ready. Preparing her breakfast and his own he he then walked her to school before going to his own class.

As he stepped through the door, he had a few minutes before the bell rang. He bowed his head to the teacher in respect and glanced at the board. Clearly seeing that it was another battle exercise. He didn’t think too much on it as he didn’t really see anyone's fighting ability in this class yet. However he did recognize two names, Kenechi and Fumika. The one boy he promised to help train in hand to hand, and the odd girl from yesterday at the dorms. He gave a small smile, interested on seeing her quirk. As for the last one he didn’t know at all.

He turned and made his way towards Fumika, who had another female student speaking with her. He caught that she was introducing herself. Hitori Chiwa. Well she was the last one in his group, remembering her name from the board.

He stopped next to them and placed his items on the desk, which happened to be ‘the main characters seat’ Bowing his head to the two girls “Good morning, Motome-San.” Glancing at Hitori. Hitori-san… Forgive me I caught your name just a moment ago. My name is Yashiro Takeshi. A pleasure to meet you. It would seem the three of us are teammates today.

@Stale Pizza@Feyblue

Jett kept his eyes on Kasuke as she turned back to the board. He smirked. “I’m glad you don’t worry about me then….” Especially when he doesn’t have a quirk to use still. “ I wouldn’t be too surprised if he found something else to launch.

Still he noticed something different about Kasuke. Where was the considerate girl he saw yesterday after all that stuff happened? It looked like she was doing all she could to NOT look at at him. Maybe she wasn’t a morning person…”Well you could have fooled me about not being recovered. You look just as radiant as you did yesterday.” He said with a smile and leaned back in his seat to pull his phone out of his back pocket to check the time.

He also had a sudden urge to text Haruka...it might have seemed a bit early… but he had to say something. Quickly typing out a message before the bell rang. Morning Haruka… I just want to apologize again for yesterday, I didn’t mean to ruin your day. I hope you have a better one today. He paused for a moment as he wondered if he should add anything else. But decided that was enough for today. He sent it and slipped it in his side pocket for easy access...just in case.

Kasuke Mina

"I'm sure you'll do fine in this exercise," Mina responded, to the hint that he wouldn't do fine without his quirk. Nobody knew better than Mina that the quirk doesn't make the hero. She could probably beat several of the students in this class in a fight without using her quirk once, and she knew Jett must have had a similar upbringing as he was also raised by Heroes.

She kept looking at the board when Jett told her she looked as radiant as yesterday, but she smiled, albeit with a twinge of weariness about it. 'Funny,' she was thinking. 'I sure don't feel radiant physically or mentally.' Thoughts of the hug came back to her, as well as the revelation of Haruka. Mina wasn't stupid. She could see that they hadn't just been best friends forever as children. The smile was gone now. She needed to focus on the mission and stop getting distracted. She wasn't worried about Jett. He could handle himself. She was worried about the other two. In fact, she still didn't know who Tomoe was and was dreading asking the sleepy girl, on the off chance that she was right.

"Erza," Mina called to him, now looking in his direction. "Are you going to focus and keep it under control on this mission? We don't want a repeat of yesterday's lunch. Well, not unless the situation calls for it."

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi got up from her seat and approached Roy, looking lost and slightly frightened. "Roy!" She whisper-shouted. "They told me to come here from support too, to make up the numbers, but I've never done a combat exercise before besides the Field Support class, and I don't know who our teammates are! Do you know who they are?"

Mako Akane

"It's too early to get drunk drunk but doing this job completely sober isn't as fun as doing it when the buzz kicks in. It's like my version of coffee, except I can't stand coffee. I'm a tea person."

She took another sip before hearing his next comment and freezing as a blush formed on her cheeks. For the first time Sarge had ever seen her, she didn't look sly and confident. She put the beer down. "This does sound nice. It's a shame I didn't bring abything to eat. Is it okay if I just watch you eat. I mean...that didn't sound weird, did it?"

Ezra Jasekade

Ezra had not done much except plan after his initial analysis of the teams. He had thought that he might want to talk to his teammates, but he was fairly sure that Jett was the only only that might listen to him and thus he didn't really feel a need to try to pre-plan and instead focused on individual success at this point. It was at this stage in his thought process that he was interrupted by a teammate, and not the teammate he particularly expected given the situation. He took a minute to look around the room and noticed that several people had already come in. Roy, a girl he did not recognise. The class changed by the day, and that was interesting to him. Perhaps some people couldn't live with being a hero given what had happened yesterday, but that was fine with him. He didn't see an issue with new, fresh competition but it still hampered with his thinking.

Listening to Mina for a second, it seemed she had concerns given what he had already done within the cafeteria. That's fine with him, he'd have concerns if he saw a teammate go crazy over something so insignificant as well, and that wasn't optimal for a team strategy. He figured he'd address them. He had concerns about Mina as well. Whilst he didn't doubt her ability, there was only so far that you could get with flashes of light and hand to hand. There had to be a limit, there was a reason why regular martial artists couldn't become heroes and being a living flashlight didn't change that. Besides that, she'd completely forgotten the purpose of her mission last time to try and chase down Donny underground in a very unfavourable matchup.

"You can have ya doubts about me. I got mine about you, but I don't think I'mma do what I did yesterday. If you want me to be honest with you, we're definitely at a disadvantage with our team and if you haven't seen that yet then my questions about you will be answered." he spoke rather calmly, which would have been unexpected to anyone that was jabbed at like that. He wasn't concerned with his team because he knew he could win by himself, but who would want to see their comrades fail or do everything by themselves every time. That wouldn't be fun.

It was really quite amazing how quickly enthusiasm could turn right back to anxiety, leaving an otherwise calm person a nervous wreck within a matter of minutes.

Fumika hadn't been paying much attention to the other students - she'd been far too busy staring at the doors into the classroom, anticipating the arrival of one particular person, and getting only more and more uneasy with each passing moment as the eagerly awaited face did not, in fact, appear. She began wondering if today would end up as a repeat of the earlier incident on the prior afternoon, and if Yoshida was not, in fact, coming to class.

...Unfortunately, this nagging worry quickly became the least of her problems, as, quite unexpectedly, a hand was brought down quite suddenly right in front of her, the sound of it impacting the desk snapping her quite suddenly back to reality. A somewhat imposing girl with black... no, very dark purple hair and incredibly intense blue eyes suddenly loomed over her, staring her right in the face. Fumika blinked in confusion, and found her own gaze very rapidly retreating from the girl's face. Her gaze was so accusatory and resolute... For just a moment, those eyes had almost looked like they'd belonged to her sister.

The other girl seemed to hesitate a bit before speaking, but that didn't make what she was saying any more palatable. What did she mean, this was her seat? Fumika had been sitting here last time, and nobody had taken this spot... In fact, she didn't even recognize this girl from her class. Could she have possibly entered the wrong room by mistake? But that was inconcievable. Her name was on the teams list on the blackboard, and Jett and the shiny girl were both over there, and...

But then why? Why couldn't she sit here? She wanted to sit next to Yoshida. She didn't want to sit anywhere else. She didn't want this girl to take the place she'd earned. But how could she just say something like that to somebody's face? That would have been so mean... She looked away, fretting and fussing with the ends of her hair while she stammered something incoherent, fumbling for words and not finding any to say.

The solution was easy. It wouldn't cause anyone else any trouble if she just got up and moved. This was the simplest solution, so obviously, she should have taken this path as the path of least resistance. The intimidating girl was still staring sharply at her. She was probably getting angry that the person who'd taken her spot was so wishy-washy and dense. All it would take to end that was to stand up, apologize, and go far away. She could end the trouble here and now.

But she couldn't bring herself to do that. She didn't want to go anywhere else. This was where her friend was sitting. If she could sit here, then she could talk to him. Or, if that bothered him too much, she could just listen to him talk. That much was fine, so long as he was...

"I'm sorry, but... um... I..." She tried to explain herself. She didn't want to be rude, but maybe, if she could just... But ah, this was so hard! If only Yoshida was here, he'd know what to-

There was the sound of a bag being set down on the desk to her left. Her eyes shot up immediately, expecting to see Yoshida, here to resolve things and save her from this awkward situation, but instead, what she saw was the formidable dark-haired boy from the previous evening. He was... Didn't he know that this was Yoshida's seat?! Yoshida had said that it was important... That it was a seat that he had to get no matter what. She didn't know why that was, but if that was the case... And if she couldn't rely on Yoshida to protect her, then... She would protect Yoshida's seat, no matter what!

"Stop!" Before she realized quite what she was doing, she was already standing up, her hands raised in front of her both in a gesture to hopefully slow down Yashiro, and to cover her face so she wouldn't have to deal with either of their stares. She knew what she'd see if she looked at them. Of course they'd be angry at her. She was being unreasonable. They would probably hate her, or think that... no, realize that she was stupid and annoying. She was just getting in the way, but... Even so, she had to...

"You... You can't sit here! This is where Yoshida always sits," She declared, perhaps a bit more emphatically than was necessary. "And so I need to sit here, too, or else I won't be able to talk to him..." Ah... this was so hard. It was so difficult, even moreso when she fully knew how unreasonable she was being. Of course it was selfish of her to insist on something like this when obviously, it had nothing to do with either of them. No doubt, she was just being stupid and inconvenient. The thought made her flush with shame, and she slowly hung her head, dropping back down into her seat.

"I'm sorry," She apologized meekly, her fluffy bangs drooping down over her face in a futile effort to hide how red she was getting. She didn't want to be annoying. She shouldn't have been doing this. This wasn't simple. It wasn't easy. It made her feel terrible, but... but she wanted this. If she had to give up now, then she'd feel even worse. Why couldn't they understand that? Why could they tell that insisting on this was her only option!? She raised her head slowly, trying to give as commanding a stare as possible, trying to look like Haruka would in a situation like this.

"I'm sorry, but... but both of you should sit somewhere else!"

...But try though she might to mimic her idol, why was it that she still felt almost no confidence in her words or in her actions?

Chiwa Hatori

Hatori was actually expecting a little bit of resistance, but instead a short stare at the unnaturally blonde haired girl make her seem like she was going to collapse at any moment. She wondered if she was pressing too hard; she wasn't here yesterday, and it was possible that she simply had this seat the day before, though as far as she knew, there were no assigned seats in this class for some reason. At least, from what she had read in the syllabuses befire, students just picked where they sat most of the time since the majority was spent outdoors anyways save for test days or other events.

Slowly, Hatori's hand slid away from the table as the girl stammered and attempted to formulate a complete sentence. It doesn't seem like the girl was going to accept her greeting, being all too occupied in trying to explain herself. She wanted to interrupt and speak up herself until another teenage boy approached them from the left, with faint blue eyes and pitch black hair. He was a bit tall, but not too much, with the top of Hatori's head barely reaching his eyes. His appearance was a stark opposite to Jett, who she had only met a few minutes ago.

He greeted the blonde hair girl as "Motome-san", and she paused and stood back from the table when she realized that this Motome was in fact her teammate for the day. Motome Fumika, Hatori recalled from the blackboard. She turned to her other teammate, Yashiro, leaning her hand at the chair in front of Motome's seat. "It's Hatori. And yeah, that does seem–"

A loud "Stop!" from Motome caused Hatori to stop as she prepared to pick up her bag from the ground. Motome stood up, and Hatori nearly dropped her bag once more before her quick reflexes grabbed it right before it impacted. She was confused and a bit irritated, but she didn't want to release her emotions on someone she was going to work with in minutes. A prompt explanation from Motome revealed that the seat to the left of her was in fact Yoshida's seat, the seat of their fourth teammate which had yet to be present. It was something that concerned Hatori, being forced to work with one less person. She would have to plan accordingly if Yoshida wasn't going to appear for this class.

However, Hatori was more interested in what Motome added afterwards. If the blush on her cheeks wasn't obvious enough, Motome had feelings for this Yoshida, and Hatori tried not to chuckle about it. She was never in a relationship before, though she was never interested in one to begin with, but the fact that somehow Yoshida was able to tug on Motome made her all the more curious of the person he actually was.

"Oh, Yoshida is one of our partners for the day, so I guess I can understand why you want to sit next to him," Hatori casually responded to Motome, seemingly ignoring the obvious signs on Motome's face, though Yashiro could catch a small smirk as she spoke. Hatori jumped onto the seat in front of Motome's, taking out a few stacks of stick notes from her bag before momentarily moving towards the open shelves to place her bag and return. "In that case, I guess I could sit on front of your seat instead, so we have some time to interact and coordinate."

Roy Kusayanagi

As Roy saw Hitomi whisper to him he pullled out one of his earbuds and gave her a slick smile that would surely provide no kind of comfort for the nervous girl.

"No clue! Nice job making it into class 1-A though!" he replied with a thumbs up, still holding up his grin. He turned back to his video and lowered his voice just enough for Hitomi to hear, his tone getting more serious.

"Surely,we will figure out who our teamates are soon enough and formulate a plan. For now take a deep breath and relax, your not alone on this one." He gave her a wink and another thumbs up, this time with a much more confident grin. So far it seemed as though the odds were stacked against them, the best plan so far was to take this exercise as cautiously as possible. They certaintly will need all 4 members if they want to increase their chances.

Day 2 of Instructions

About damn time

Akihito Yoshida

Akihito Yoshida stood at his desk and watched as the students filed in and talked a commotion, he tapped his pen on the desk a couple of times before looking back to his notes. The teams looked to be fitting accordingly, and he got the reaction he wanted as he overheard the students. As some realized they were at a disadvantage he nodded his head.

Yes, assess your situation before acting. Brute strength will not always win. Being too hasty will lower your chances of success.

As the bell rang Yoshida stood up, grabbing his multipurpose device. Taking stage at the front of the class.

"Class is starting, take your seats and be silent as I give instrunctions. I hope you all slept well after yesterdays event" He said walking from the right side of the class room.

"The lot of you seemed to notice that you have been split into teams, meaning we will be having another exercise today. After yesterdays pitiful stalemate as well the appearance of some late comers, I have decided to give you all another chance. I have even took into account for those who believe they are hotshots." He said taking a look at Ezra.

"On a positive note, your Hero costumes have arrived as well as your locker name plaques. The locker rooms that the costumes are being witheld is located in the gym. Arsenal should be over there right now as he does not have any morning classes, you have 25 minutes to get what you will need to succeed and meet over at training ground Bravo and I will instruct you on what the exercise will entail.

Mr.Yoshida packed up his things before making his way over to training ground Bravo for preperation.

Sarge

As Sarge continued eating he chuckled as Ms.Mako tried to justify her reason for drinking beer so early in the morning.

"I suppose, but we are supposed to be role models, I hope you don't teach all your classes with beer a fresh beer on the table." He said as he took another bite out of his food before Ms.Mako asked if she could watch him eat, she seemed rather flustered and her face was red. It was a bit weird to ask another grown adult to watch them eat, she was lucky she was attractive though that didn't completely cover up all the thoughts roaming in the mans mind.

"It's alright if you don't have anything to eat, we are just two adults relaxing in the lounge before work" a small smirk forming on his face.
