Name: Schrodinger D. Cat Aliases: Schrody, Cat, Fucko, That Orange Bastard, NO, Stop It, and "Why?" Age: 3 Birthday: Springtime Ethnicity: Ginger Shorthaired Domestic Gender: Tom Languages: Feline and Apathy
Personality: Schrodinger is a survivor. He has lived almost the entirety of his life during the Apocalypse, even though he barely recognizes it as such. There just seem to be a lot less people than there used to, and fewer opportunities to get free food. As such, certain lessons were learned.
The fuzzy orange bastard knows people, and approaches them with caution until he is absolutely sure of their intentions. Even then, Schrodinger mostly keeps to his own devices. It is the origin of his name: At least half of the time, any humans have no idea whether Schrodinger is alive or dead, until he shows up with a dead squirrel or meowing for scraps of food.
Overall, this ginger tom has expressed a fierce intelligence, prompting him to believe that he was, in fact, a human in a previous life. Luckily, this time around he got promoted to Cat.
Habits: Licking himself, playing with his food, making The Face to distract (or get out of trouble).

Relationship Status:
Single
Personality:
A complete opposite to her older twin, Meghna is a loud mouthed, no filter indivudual that enjoys the finer things in life. Such as living and food, lots of food. Her insecure nature stems from her father, even if she doesn't show it much to others. Her insecurity comes more from doubting herself and hesitation to actually put ideas forward - one thing she has common with her brother. She hates being compared to her brother, even as a joke. It rubs her the wrong way and she can be in a foul mood for the rest of the day (or even the week, depending on what exactly was said) until she has been apologised to.
Meghna is quite energetic and likes being active. She's never in one place for too long, always compared to a buzzing bee. Her active nature can annoy someone, especially if she keeps asking questions - but she doesn't really care too much. Similarly, Meghna prefers to do things herself, rather than asking for help. While she doesn't mind working with others while scavenging, as long as she can do the hunting her way, she won't be much of a problem. Meghna is not a lone-wolf.
Meg even tends to blurt out things without completely thinking things through. Most of the time, she barely thinks before speaking. And she doesn't really mind whether it causes someone to not like her, its just something she does. Whether you call it honesty, or stupidity, it doesn't matter to her.
One thing Meg loves to do is to teach children. Her dream would've been to become a school teacher, but then the apocalypse had to happen to ruin the career path she had painfully mapped out. Ah well, at least she can assign homework to the kids in camp, right?

History
Your First Walker Encounter:
On the day the apocalypse began, the radios were talking about nothing but ways to survive. Meghna and Sidd had planned a road trip, one to help keep his mind off of their father for the rest of the week, but the trip had been cut short immediately with news of the apocalypse spreading like wildfire.
First, Meg and Sidd stored everything they had in their pantry, including any weapons their father had collected through years of hunting and paranoia about self defence. The twins hadn't even encountered their first walker until two weeks after news had spread and radios died, when their supplies began running low.
It was Meg that had to face off a walker first. Armed with only a hunting knife and a pistol rummaged from her father's safe, Meg had gone on a run to find any store that hadn't been completely ransacked. While browsing through the isles of their local superstore, sounds of groans and banging had rung through the empty store.
At first, she contemplated whether to try and go Assassin style or just head-shot the mother fucker and run, but after seeing her first walker, Meg knew exactly what she needed to do. Hastily grabbing her pistol, she aimed at the walker's forehead and pulled the trigger, the walker falling immediately to the ground while the gunshot echoed.
Grabbing whatever supplies she could, Meghna took off and returned home, even giving her twin a hug as she tried to come to her senses.
History Before Outbreak:
Born twenty minutes after her older twin, Meghna Kumar and her brother were raised in Atlanta their whole childhood. Enjoying a lax childhood with little limitations and big dreams, both children were given the opportunity to 'follow their dreams' as cheesy as it sounded. However, a few years later, Meghna's and Sidd's mother died in a car accident, leaving the twins and their father in an untimely death. While the kids were still too young to realise what had happened, other than their mother was now gone to a better place, their father took her death the hardest, his easy-going personality changing with the influence of alcohol and extra work hours.
By the time the twins were ten, it was obvious which one was the smarter one of the two. Meg's academic achievements were never as great as Sidd, resulting in a few comments by their father every so often. As a result of this, Meg began resenting her brother, mainly because of her father.
Also, during some of her childhood, Meg was taken with her father to hunt every other summer, as her brother refused to join them and their father wished for company. This is where she began learning the basics of hunting and tracking game.
After studying hard, Meg graduated at one of the top in her class (of course, still below her brother) and escaped Atlanta by taking a scholarship at a university in London, trip paid by money she earned by babysitting the neighbourhood kids or even offering tutoring services.
For the next seven odd years, Meg refused to keep in contact with her father and eventually stopped talking to her brother. Too focused on graduating with a teaching degree in English, Meg's dream was to teach at a primary school in London, eventually settling down and living out the rest of her days.
However, that never quite happened. Instead, in the last year of her Master's programme, Meg was called by her brother. News of her father's death: liver damage. Immediately, Meg flew out back to Atlanta to be able to help her brother settle back down, but then the apocalypse began.
History Since Outbreak:
For the first few months of the apocalypse, Sidd and Meghna barely left their home in Atlanta, Meghna being the one to scavenge due to her experience in hunting whenever they ran out of supplies. They were only forced out of their home when bandits tried breaking in, following behind Meghna one day during her scavenging.
The twins barely managed to escape with their lives, losing many supplies and their personal possessions even from before the apocalypse. They took the loss hard, Meghna moreso. She believed that she was the reason they lost their home and everything inside - only because she didn't cover up her own tracks after scavenging the nearby corner shop for water.
Closer to Newnan, the twins met Leann and her small team while looking for shelter. The twins joined the growing group, safety in numbers as they say. Sticking together for the next three years, the twins decided that it was one of their best decisions.
Now, Meg helps the Newnan gang by going out on supply runs whenever needed, especially if it involves hunting animals for meat. When not scavenging, however, she can be found teaching the children that survived. Just because you survived an apocalypse, it doesn't mean you can escape homework, now is it?

Headstrong * Twitchy * Intelligent * Sensitive
Sexuality: Unknown, leaning towards asexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Ciel is proper and mature for his age, but he is also noticeably quiet and a bit paranoid. He is distrustful of most people, having doubts about the loyalty of even his closest friends. Despite this, he would never betray anyone who trusts him. He is loyal and headstrong, however this also makes him sensitive and easily embarrassed. When upset, he shuts down and refuses to speak, not wanting to seem weak in front of others. He prizes his maturity above all else, and would be humiliated if he were ever treated like the child he is. This aspect of his personality seems to have intensified over the past six months or so, to the point where his fear of being looked down upon has begun to border on becoming a phobia. Ciel rarely smiles and never laughs unless drunk or otherwise out of his right mind. His rare smiles usually come in the form of curt little smirks, usually prompted by people who amuse his dry sense of humor. Ciel also enjoys riddles, logic puzzles and mind games. Despite mentally and logically functioning at the same level as any adult, in truth Ciel is weak and sickly. He’s lived a life of relative comfort and is dependent on others for basic survival needs. If left on his own, he would likely die within a fortnight. He knows this and because of it he tries his best not to get on anyone’s bad side. Someone as weak and dependent as him must be equally amicable and useful in order to survive. History
Your First Walker Encounter: Though his parents were both killed by walkers, the first time Ciel ever saw one was on his own. Wandering through the forest, starving and alone, he was ambushed by a group of two walkers. They were both relatively weak and old, so he was able to pick them off with his rifle after climbing up a tree to escape being bitten or scratched by the undead fiends. He had known about their presence before he ever saw one, so he wasn’t as frightened as he would have been otherwise, but the situation cemented in him the idea of just how much danger he was really in.
History Before Outbreak: Ciel was born the only son to a rich politician and his trophy wife. His parents adored him right from the start, and he led a pampered lifestyle. Anything he needed or wanted was provided as soon as he but asked. Being a somewhat weak and sickly little boy, his medical needs were painstakingly attended to by the best doctors available. There was only one problem he saw in his life, and that was that he had little to no contact with the world outside his home. He never made a single friend, he never had the valuable solo experiences that other children had, and most of all he was never exposed to foreign pathogens and as such his asthma and allergies only worsened instead of improving.
By the time he was six years old, he desperately hungered for a life of adventure. He never even went to school with other children; his parents homeschooled him and provided tutors at home. The good thing about this is that his individualized education meant that he could work at his own pace, and he quickly excelled at all the work his tutors could give him. His parents, who had both been good students themselves, were ever so proud to see their son grow to be so scholastically advanced. A specialty of Ciel's was always drawing, and he loved making maps of his parent's estate, the only world he knew.
Then the walkers came. His parents initially barricaded themselves in their mansion, but one of Ciel’s doctors became a walker, somehow broke into the heavily guarded estate, and killed them both in their beds. Ciel heard scratching and tearing sounds coming from his parent’s room, and fearing the worst he escaped through his bedroom window, taking only his father’s rifle.
History Since Outbreak: After the deaths of his parents, Ciel escaped to the woods and started to journey his way across the landscape, trying to get as far away from the outbreak as possible. It quickly settled in just how much he was unprepared for life on his own. He seemed to be allergic to almost everything, his asthma being terribly bad for the first few days. He had no idea how to find food or make shelter, eating only the raw animals he shot and getting very sick from them. He surely would have died if he hadn't found his first companion on his fifth day alone.
Charles Greywater was a stocky, bearded man, fond of flannel shirts and armed with a crossbow. He found little Ciel starving and ill in the woods, and nursed the boy back to health, taking him in as a sort of apprentice. He taught Ciel how to properly use the rifle he had, and even taught him a few crossbow tricks. Ciel learned to make a fire with flint, and how to gut and cook animals so he wouldn't have to subsist off of raw meat like he had been. It was with Charles that Ciel committed his first murder. They came across a woman on their travels, one who was trying to raid their shelter. Charles woke Ciel, handed him his rifle and told the boy to shoot. Ciel shot the woman dead, and the two ate her corpse and used her clothes and supplies. Ciel was of course more than slightly troubled by this at first, but quickly became accustomed to his own immorality.
Then one sunny July afternoon, the two of them were attacked by a lone walker. This one was stronger than the two Ciel had encountered before, and killed Charles while he tried to protect Ciel. Ciel was forced to shoot them both, but he missed the walker and made a narrow escape by jumping into a river and swimming downstream away from the monster, who could not maneuver itself so easily in water. Ciel was once again on his own, but this time a bit more prepared.
One week passed, then two. Today is Ciel's fifteenth day of being alone. He hasn't had much luck in finding food and is slowly fading again. He's learned by now that he doesn't do well solo, and has learned it the hard way. He's narrowly survived a few more walker attacks, which seem to be getting more and more frequent as if he were approaching some sort of colony of the creatures, like an abandoned town or something. If he doesn't find help soon, his little adventure may soon come to an untimely end.
How Many Walkers Have You Killed: 3 How Many People Have You Killed: 1 Why: The human, he killed for food. The walkers he killed because they would have killed him otherwise. Anything Else:Here

☯ Ashton Holloway ☯ "I don't think he likes me, but I'm not offended or anything. He doesn't seem to like anyone." Ashton doesn't really have a lot of time available to socialize, and Ciel thinks it far better to stay out of the Captain's way as much as possible.
☯ James Mandingo Grady ☯ "To be honest, I'm still not sure what his full name is. We don't talk much." James has a job to do and not a lot of time to interact with students. On top of this, Ciel rarely takes the initiative to interact with people who don't actively seek him out. As such, they don't see much of each other.
✿ Kristina Smith ✿ "I kind of like her. We seem to understand each other, you know?" Despite being 8 years Ciel's senior, Kristina is the closest in age to Ciel. However, Ciel mostly still treats her as one of the adults, as that's easier for him. He's basically never known anyone his own age, and wouldn't know how to treat a peer. In general, Ciel likes Kris. They get along fairly well, at least. Kris seems to understand that Ciel dislikes being talked down to, and as such Ciel feels more respected by her.
☯ Richard Johnson ☯ "He really keeps to himself. We don't talk much." Richard was hit hard by the deaths on the trip to Newnan, and so he hasn't really been socializing with the new kid. Ciel honestly doesn't mind, and thinks it best if he doesn't bother him while he grieves his friends.
⚜✿ Victor Bonheur ⚜✿ "He's really cool. I have no other words." Ciel is a bit starstruck by Froggy, to be honest. As Newnan's medical lead, he played a large role in making sure Ciel didn't expire from starvation. He would be very quick to help out the doctor, should he ever require it.
☯ Tatiana Korvo ☯ "She's the Russian lady getting married to Jack, right? She seems nice enough." Tatiana isn't someone Ciel sees around much, and most of what he's heard about her has come from Jack. As such, he's heard only good things about her and does his best to be nice to her when she they do happen across each other.
✿❦ Agnes Brynja Johannsson ✿❦ "I'm not sure what I'd do without her. We understand each other very well." Agnes, much like Jack, was someone Ciel initially wasn't too sure about. However, as he recovered and needed less help, he started being able to see her kindness for what it was. She's kind of become a parent figure to him, over the last few months.
☯ Neisha Burkstein ☯ "I know her okay. She seems pretty sharp." Ciel can easily relate to Neisha's eagerness to help out. The two of them have several interests in common, and Neisha has generally been kind to Ciel through these past few months. Though they don't often see much of each other, they're on friendly terms.
⚜✿ Raymond Mendoza ✿⚜ "It takes a lot of guts and skill to survive out here with just one leg. Besides, he seems pretty cool..." Having both survived the disastrous trek from Franklin to Newnan, Ciel and Ray had plenty of time to get to know each other in the infirmary. So far, they seem to get along fairly well. Ciel is quiet by nature, so they don't often end up in conversation with each other, but Ciel has a lot of respect for Ray after watching him pull through such a perilous trip all while bleeding out. If Ray ever needed a favor from Ciel, Ciel would be happy to assist.
❦✿⚜ Jack Hudson ❦✿⚜ "I really wish I could do more for Jack, really. He's got a good heart." Jack is really like a father to Ciel. While Ciel was initially uncomfortable with being treated like a child (regardless of the fact that he is one), he eventually warmed up to the idea of having someone willing to look out for him.
☯ Ryan O'Reily ☯ "I won't lie, he makes me a little nervous." Never before in his life has Ciel been in such close quarters with a criminal. Although Ryan helps him out quite a bit and he tries to reciprocate as much as he can, he can't help but feel a bit on edge not knowing what it is exactly that Ryan did.
✿ Tiffany Lyle ✿ "I like her a lot, actually. She's very genuine." Tiffany stayed with Ciel through the trip to Newnan, and has gone out of her way to ensure that he and Ray made it through. Ciel greatly appreciates her kindness, almost feeling like he owes her back some of that time she spent with him, making sure he didn't starve to death.
☯ Amelia Payne ☯ "We mostly stay out of each other's way, but I'd say we're on good terms." Amelia and Ciel don't talk much, but at least on Ciel's end of things, he likes to think they get along okay.
☢ Schrödinger ☢ "If I'm going to be perfectly honest, I don't like cats."
☣ Meghna Kumar ☣ "I... I don't know what to say." In his heart of hearts, Ciel knows that Meghna means well. But he can also tell that she feels sorry for him, which drives him absolutely mad. His great dislike of being pitied causes him to avoid her when possible. However, he maintains that he harbors no ill feelings towards her.
✿ Sana Rouen ✿ "I like her, but she seems like she's been through a lot since I left Franklin..." Before being taken to Newnan, Ciel had only briefly had a chance to get to know Sana and never really knew Marx at all. As such, he's not really sure what happened to bring Sana down so much. However, he tries to lend a helping hand whenever he can, and Sana continues to treat him with kindness.
☯ Beatrice Decker ☯ "To be honest, I don't see much of her. She seems nice, though." Ciel is pretty quiet in nature, so there are still quite a few people he doesn't know terribly well. Beatrice is definitely one of these. Though he tries to stay on everyone's good side, Beatrice is just someone he doesn't end up speaking to frequently.
☯ Riley Ridgeway ☯ "She has her own goals. We get along okay, but I wouldn't say we're friends." Ciel feels it would be best to stay out of Riley's way for the most part. Though he doesn't at all dislike her, he feels that it's in his best interest not to get on her nerves.
✿ Chloe Ridgeway ✿ "She seems like she's been through a lot, but she's one of the nicer people I know around here." Though Ciel normally tends to avoid people like Chloe with rougher personalities, she's surprisingly nice to him for the most part, and he definitely appreciates that. Though he doesn't know about her past with addiction, he can tell she's had a rough time out there and he respects her strong survival instinct. Out of the two Ridgeway sisters, Chloe is certainly Ciel's favorite.

She is always looking for another way around an obstacle, and sometimes, she prefers the clever way to the easy way. Every possibility is thoroughly examined, and she's a skeptic at heart. To her, anything can be thought out logically -- and when it can't, there's a fuse about to be blown. Your First Walker Encounter: Tryke had been at Cal Tech for less than a year when they received warnings on the news to stay at home, and if needed, evacuate the area. The university, to say the least, was sending mixed signals. She stayed in the lab, fondly called the "garage" with her research team, continuing to work on building more effective robots for retrieving samples on distant planets. They hadn't made very much progress, and naively, they figured the disease would be eradicated quickly.
It wasn't. They remained inside the garage for a month, and one of the engineers, Layla, got a bit crazy being cooped up inside. She ran outside, only to be greeted by a hoard, and Tryke rushed after her. They both narrowly made it back inside "the garage" and were entirely bewildered, hardly comprehending what they had just seen--walkers.
History Before Outbreak: Tryke's great-grandparents were prominent scientists, conducting research on the terraforming of planets. They were never able to obtain a grant or funding, causing their ideas to largely die with them. Tryke's grandfather kept all of the schematics and research in the attic, and when her father and mother were moving out after their wedding, they found all of it. For a pair of science-fiction lovers, and having majored in Film and Television in school, they decided to adapt the schematics into a movie. Three summers later, it was a blockbuster, and made the newly formed Lockley family rich.
Less than a year after the movie release, Tryke's parents were already hard at work on the sequel. They had outlined the protagonist of the movie already, a pilot named Trillium Brite who uncovered a criminal conspiracy amongst the Venus settlers. They were so absorbed with the character that by the time Tryke was born, it was the only name they could come up with. And so, they named their daughter after the movie character.
The second movie wasn't nearly as popular as the first, but the Lockleys managed to sell the rights to a television company, and it was then produced in forty minute episodes, lasting for six seasons before its cancelation. Tryke grew up accustomed to her parent's fame, and since the name Trillium Brite was a little hard on the tongue, they shortened it to Tryke.
Her childhood was fairly normal, aside from the fact that she went to Comic Cons, and every so often, fans would think of her as the character from her parents' stories, rather than an actual person. It only served to nurture her stubborn and independent nature, and by the time she finished high school, she was accepted to M.I.T. to study mechanical engineering. More nerds were in the dorms, and at this point, her past had become a bit of an annoyance. She graduated at the top of her class, showing a natural talent at robotics, and then applied to Cal Tech for grad school.
History Since Outbreak: After seeing the hoard, the group of ragtag engineers and physicists began to take the situation seriously. They had enough rations (beer and assorted snacks) to last them through the end of the month. They did their best to get by, even modifying their robot to perform the simple task of leaving the garage, but it wasn't able to do much. It wasn't able to retrieve food for them, until about six months in. They were practically starving, having reduced their portions and becoming emaciated in the process.
But once their group project was able to head to the university cafeteria and grabbed some more rations, they thought they would be okay. And they were, for about another three months, until they were discovered. Not by walkers, but by people--people who ended up burning the "garage" to the ground. Tryke was the only survivor, narrowly able to escape with a few supplies, and hop onto the nearest bike she found.
On the back of a motorcycle, she drove as much as she could, putting as much distance between her and Pasadena. Stealing what fuel she could for the bike, she repaired it over the years, slowly making her way in no direction in particular--and oddly enough, this turned out to be Georgia. She fantasizes about setting up a mine field one day, and sitting down in the middle on the singular safe spot, but for now, she rides her bike from town to town, taking what she can, and then moving on to the next place.

Sexuality: Bi-sexual Relationship Status: Formerly Betrothed Personality: Sana in the past has been known to be rather quiet and untrusting, hard to get close to. She preferred to be left alone and detests asking for help; a very stubborn woman who preferred to do things alone than in a group. She was in a relationship for a time and seemed to loosen up a bit and find more joy in the world but that ended strangely and it left her changed.
She can be rather outspoken at times but has a good heart and tends to help people in need even without being asked. Handing over items that one may need without a word and just walking away. If she does get mad though she will lash out either verbally or physically and when a new comer approaching she will draw and stand ready to strike them down if provoked. She tries to trust people now because people are what is needed to stay alive. Her outlook has changed a lot since the outbreak.
Sana has become more closed off as of late and a lot more angry since the death of her brother. She is trying to accept it but it is hard, when she lost him she lost what she felt was a part of herself and she just isn't sure how to deal with that.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Sana's first encounter came late one night at the gym which she trained. One of the older coaches was working late with her and started having chest pains, he dropped from a stroke right as she was coming out of the locker room. Rushing to his side she was at a loss of what to do and tried to dial for emergency but he had already turned and tried to make a nice snack out of her. Sana fought him off and ended up finally killing him with a rather impressive vault and knocking his head clean off. She hasn't tried that move since.
History Before Outbreak: Sana's history is a bit strange. Her father was the Duke of Rouen before everything went down but she and her siblings were not raised in Normandy. Mostly raised in Canada, Sana spent little time at her birth home. Her father not wanting her to be fodder for the local papers he had her last name changed and sent her to live with distant relatives in Quebec. She was raised mostly by her cousins, going to private school.
She learned some basic archaic skills while there that her father wanted her to learn; fencing and horseback riding. Horses she enjoyed, fencing not so much. She fell in love with gymnastics when she was very young and spent most of all her free time training. She wanted to end up going to the Olympics one day. Her training went well and she made the French team one year but ended up pulling a muscle before the opening ceremonies and had to be replaced by an alternate.
After that she went to try to again but could never stick the landing when she needed to the most. She still had hope though, it never faded no matter what happened. She coached some in her spare time, younger kids who would have probably had a better chance than she would at this point before everything in the world went to shit. When it did she knew her dreams of ever continuing to a world stage were over but granted by then she had new goals. Like finding her brother.
History Since Outbreak: Sana started off on Quebec, leaving the gym and trying to get back to her cousins house but the roads were not passable in her car. Everything was going down hill fast and she ended up pairing up with some street kids just to stay alive. She never knew what happened to her cousins, the last she heard was by word of mouth that someone had seen that part of town being burned to the ground to try to stop the spread of whatever the fuck was changing people.
It was months of trying to survive, or more like trying to get others to keep her alive. At first it wasn't too difficult. She was a pretty face, she was "flexible", and she started using her real name and credentials. Poor people thought it was cool to be rescuing royalty. She used and abused the status until no one would put up with her anymore and she was left by her group in the middle of nowhere. Only one person remained - A man by the name of Lyon.
Lyon was never one for leaving people behind but he knew she had lessons to learn and he taught them quickly and harshly. Shaved head, orange bleached hair, suspending her over a pit of Walkers with a frayed rope, you know the usual. It took some time but eventually Sana got her act together and the two have been together ever since.
Trekking slowly southward, and learning to survive from Lyon along the way, Sana was determined to find the only person she really cared about. Marx, but could she really find him? Only time would tell but hell, time was all she had these days. Surviving didn't really seem to matter if there wasn't a goal she was working for.

Sana does and does not have a problem with Ash. She knows he isn't personally responsible for Marx's death but she does lay some of the blame on him since it was his people that were escorting the sick to Newnan and Marx was going there to help Newnan. If it hadn't been for them, her brother would still be alive in her mind. Snide comments from time to time but she knows deep down she is just venting because of her loss. ☯ James Grady ☯ "He's alright" Sana doesn't have a problem with James, he is alright in her book and he has taught her a lot so that goes a long way. She doesn't snap at him like she does Ash but she isn't exactly friendly either. Granted she isn't friendly with anyone. ☯ Kristina Smith ☯ "She Understands" While Sana doesn't look at Kris as a friend, she understands Kris and knows Kris understands what it is like to loose a sibling. They have an understanding with each other and can from time to time be seen talking alone, usually about their siblings and how much they miss them. § Richard Johnson § "I'M NOT HER!!!" Sana couldn't figure out why Dick was one minute on her heels nice as everything to her and even acting like he cared about her and then the next treating her like dirt. Then she found out about Zoie. Perfect Daisy Duke that could do no wrong, the second in command of Newnan, the girl that could bake a cake and kick ass. And apparently she is just like Zoie but the thing is she isn't Zoie at all. Sana is Sana. She should kick him away and just beat his ass but she hasn't.... Yet. She likes Dick, more than a friend, but she just can't let him get close because she doesn't want to be a replacement. She has been a a replacement for someone in the past and she refuses to go back down that path. ☯ Victor Bonheur ☯ "He's alright." Sana doesn't have a problem with Victor and it is nice to have someone around she can speak her mother tongue to in. They are both from France and she has let Victor know she was the Duchess of Rouen before the world fell apart. They are okay with each other and she will speak to him about Richard, wondering just what the hell she is supposed to do. ☢ Tatiana Korvo ☢ "The woman is too happy..." Why she doesn't know but she just does NOT like Tatiana. End of story. ✿ Agnes Johannsson ✿ "She understand my quiet and my bitchyness" With the way the world is now and after having lost her brother Marx, Sana could be at times described as the bastard love child of Astrid and Bridgette. Quiet and stoic at times, bitching people out with the most colorful language the next. The two get along well enough and they have common interests. ☯ Niesha Burkstien ☯ "What's everyone's problem?" Sana and Niesha really don't get a chance to speak and Sana isn't one to go seeking people out. She's heard somethings but that doesn't affect Sana. As far as she is concerned the woman is alright. ☯ Raymond Mendoza ☯ "If Marx was around he would have a leg." Sana really doesn't speak to Ray. She doesn't have a problem with him but she doesn't like him either. Every time she sees him without a leg it makes her think of Marx and the fact that if Marx had lived the man would have a leg. She tends to need a drink after spotting him around Newnan. ☯ Jack Hudson ☯ "Stop smiling you goofy mother fucker..." In truth Sana doesn't have a problem with Jack and they have to work together from time to time since she is in the secondary tower so often. Thing is though, Sana is still in that dark place and his constant happiness because of Tatiana does drive her up the wall from time to time. Again, nothing against the man but she wonders if he is physically capable of a frown. ☯ Ryan O'Reily ☯ "Would you just tell him?" Sana doesn't really have any problems with Ryan, she just wished he would stop screwing with Dick and tell the man what the fuck he wants to know. ☯ Tiffany Lyle ☯ "She's alright." If Sana ever gets out of this mood she is in her and Tiffany might turn out to be good friends, thing is right now Sana isn't opening up to Tiffany just yet to her but that is mostly because of Ray. ✿ Amelia Payne ✿ "She has a good heart" Like with Riley, Sana is friends with Amelia, being very grateful to the woman for making the grave marker for her brother. They have become friends of sorts over the last months and will hang out from time to time. Mike like the girl, so she is okay in Sana's book. ☯ Meghna Kumar ☯ "What does she do here?" Sana doesn't have a problem with Meg and makes small talk, that is about as much as most can hope for from Sana right now. She went into a very dark place when her brother died and pushed most everyone away and built a rather large wall. She likes Meg alright but as with most Sana isn't exactly in a friendly mood right now. ✿ Ciel Jaquith ✿ "Glad he is doing alright" Sana checks in on Ciel from time to time. She isn't exactly the most friendly person right now because of losing Marx but she doesn't hold that against the kid. He seems alright and just needs some guidance, sadly Sana isn't the one to give it to him just yet but she still looks out for him and makes sure he has what he needs. ☯ Beatrice Decker ☯ "She's alright." If Sana wasn't on such a raging bitch kick as of late her and Beatrice would probably be very good friends. Right now though, Sana is cordial enough. She really doesn't say much to Beatrice but she won't just up and walk away if the girl speaks to her. She will make friendly enough talk before ducking out to go back to her post in the tower. ✿ Riley Ridgeway ✿ "She has a good heart" Of the people in Newnan, Riley is one of the few true friends that Sana has. After seeing the headstone that Riley and Amelia made for Marx, she was forever grateful and let Riley in somewhat. She is still distant and hard to speak to but she lets her guard down a little around Riley and people get to start seeing the old Sana from time to time - Many of those who knew Zoie in Newnan before her death say that when Sana acts like her old self she reminds them very much of Zoie. ☯ Chloe Ridgeway ☯ "Cherish your sister." Sana isn't sure what to say to Chloe other than a usual "Cherish that sister of yours, trust me, you'll regret it if you don't."

Sexuality: Bisexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Beatrice has a bit of a dry sense of humor. She isn't the one to be giving seething remarks every moment, instead delivering humor in almost a deadpan voice. She doesn't shout and doesn't draw too much attention to herself, but that doesn't mean she isn't judging everyone else. She judges harshly and holds grudges tightly, causing her to dislike a fair amount of people. She's also extremely clever, able to pick up a trail and continue on with it, even when most others would've been stumped. Her skill and intuition cause Beatrice to often get "funny feelings" about situations, and more often than not, her gut is correct. She's incredibly patient, able to sit and wait for hours, without wanting to jump out of her skin.
While originally she held everyone at an arm's length away from her, faking friendship and keeping her emotional distance, she has been recently tentatively venturing into the territory of making true friends. Push for friendship and it will never happen with Beatrice. Yet after her experiences in Newnan, she isn't so certain if she can live to just survive anymore. The people she fights and survive with - they've become her people. And while she will likely never verbally confirm that, she'd at least risk serious personal harm for them. Maybe even her own death. She isn't too sure on that, but the very notion that it's possible that she could...It terrifies her. She's never felt that way before in her life.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Beatrice had been hired by an anxious mother, as her child had gone missing. She tracked down the missing daughter to Coney Island. Beatrice rented a room, and as she was planning out her strategy to make contact with the missing daughter, she heard a gigantic thud coming from the next room. When Beatrice entered to investigate, she found one of the other lodgers dead on the floor, clutching his chest. He had died of a heart attack. And before she even managed to call for the police, he was back up on his feet again, trying to bite her. A few shots later from her .9 mm, and he was down.
History Before Outbreak Beatrice's parents were slumming it out in Justice, taking to the shadows. The pair of them had run away, claiming that it was true love, at the age of 17. It didn't take too long for them to fall in with the wrong crowd, pumping themselves full of whatever kind of drug they could find. It was a miracle that when Beatrice was born she didn't have any sort of birth defects. The young couple was only eighteen years old and their conception of a decent babysitter was their drug dealer.
When Beatrice was three years old, Child Protective Services seized her, removing her from the cesspool of inequity her parents called home. She was bounced from foster home to foster home, with her parents hardly bothering with her. They would usually send her a birthday card, but the main issue was they could never remember when her birthday was. Beatrice never cared to correct them. She was too focused on learning how to survive in the dark and gritty city, getting into fights frequently with the other children.
By the time Beatrice was fifteen, rather than bouncing from home to home, she was bouncing from home to juvi to home. Some of the crimes she actually committed--others were pinned on her by the other children. But that was perhaps the best year of her life. Rather than sending her to another home in Justice, Beatrice was sent to a small town in Northeastern California. Getting away from the violent city did wonders for her. She concentrated on her studies, having a sharp upward trend throughout high school. She began to live, rather than just survive.
Her foster parents adopted her, a lonely couple unable to have children of their own. They walked Beatrice through the process of applying to college, and she eventually attended a state university. Studying Pre-Law, Beatrice wasn't really certain what she wanted to do. It was in her final year that Beatrice realized she likely wasted her education, as she had no intention of being a lawyer. She missed the thrill one could get from living in Justice, and did a bit of research into what she could use her degree for.
Combined with her legal knowledge and excellent capacity for violence, Beatrice became a process server. She moved back to Justice after graduating college, her foster family being kind enough to pay off her loans. Establishing herself as a slightly unorthodox process server, Beatrice was more truthfully a professional stalker who plays tag with legal paperwork. On occasion, she was asked to find people for a general purpose, though that business is run under the table.
History Since Outbreak: Beatrice tried her best to rush back home to California, where at least there would be people that she trusted. Instead, she ended up traveling with a group of misfits in New York, moving from secluded houses in the countryside as an effort to avoid the walkers. This worked while the weather was warm, but New England weather is merciless. Come January, about half of the members in the group died, not from walkers, but from the elements.
Beatrice and the survivors, figuring they couldn't last another winter, started heading down south. They stayed in the woods if they could, with abandoned farm houses being a particular favorite. The little community had an occasional loss from a walker ambush, but they managed to stay mostly in tact, with members teaching each other the secrets they had picked up. But they didn't have much in the way of medical knowledge, instead raiding the stores for DayQuill whenever they could, as it was all they could do.
It was in Georgia, two years after the outbreak, that things started to fall apart. Infighting tore the group in half, as people had started to fall in love--and then violently out of love. The group disintegrated, half opting to head west, and the others remaining in place. Beatrice, as much as she wanted to return to California, ended up stuck in the group staying in Georgia.
She didn't stay with the splintered group for more than another year. She was one of the better trained members in the group, for when it came to dealing with conflict. And she had become quite good friends with one of the group members, thinking of him like a little brother. But as the temperatures rose, so did the tempers. Her only friend ended up shot in a drunken argument, and that same night, Beatrice left the group under the cover of darkness. She's been scavenging her way through Georgia now, wandering almost aimlessly. If she finds another refugee group of people she can trust, that's great. And if not, it doesn't matter too much for her. As long as she's still breathing.

Beatrice trusted Thana - not a decision that she comes to lightly. After Thana's disappearance, there were two logical explanations. One was that she had gotten herself killed on the little run. The other was that she had cut and left, not wanting to deal with a bunch of amputees. For what respect and friendship Beatrice had with Thana, she hopes it was the former. Better dead than someone who couldn't look them in the eyes to say she was leaving. 🎆/💙 Alexander Polawski 💙/🎆 "It's a shame there isn't a government around to compensate him for that injury." Although this may be surprising to some, Alex is Beatrice's favorite in the unit. Each of them are emotionally guarded and it's nice for Beatrice to be able to talk to him without expecting an onslaught of questions about her emotions, her past, her dreams, and so forth. The loss of his leg and the way Alex continues to survive despite it has caused her to respect him, more than his actions taking down Eden already did. He's her favorite person to be impersonal with. 💘/♨️/💙 Thalia Carmichael 💙/♨️/💘 "Oh, you mean these SpaghettiOs?" The O Wars have been a major source of amusement for Beatrice, allowing her to briefly take her mind off of the horrid state of the world around them. She keeps around the can of O's mostly to mess with Thalia, but also because Beatrice has developed a slight crush on her. The slight antagonistic behavior is Beatrice's method of hiding those feelings - feelings which Thalia may or may not be aware of at this point. She considers Thalia a good friend (maybe something more intimate in some moments?) and has her back - even if that means contemplating one day putting an empty can of SpaghettiO's next to Thalia's head at night when she's asleep. ♨️/🎆 Emanuel "Manny" Newman 🎆/♨️ "He talks too much. No wonder he was a dentist." Not one to get personal, Manny's constant efforts to get her to open up and befriend her have had the opposite effect. She essentially is digging her heels in, refusing to have anything beyond a professional relationship with the dentist-turned-medic. Every time he tries, the tension grows a little more and if it wasn't for the fact that he's a damn good medic, Beatrice might have started to actively dislike him. However, as the only two able bodied people in the group, their professional relationship has grown from the proximity and constant work.

Appearance
Height: 5'7 Weight: 137lbs Build: Slender Eyes: Blue Hair: Blonde Skin Tone: Lightly tanned Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: She has her ears pierced two in both of her ears, a belly button piercing and a tattoo of a hawk on her right shoulder. Riley has a scar going across her neck what looks like dog bite marks, this happened when she was ten years old. When asked she will become defensive about it. It is always hidden under her hair however so no one would rarely see it. Ever since Newnan fell, due to them being constantly out on the road now she decided to cut her hair down a lot, she now keeps it at a pixie cut.
Sexuality: Lesbian Relationship Status: Dating Amelia Payne Personality: Riley is a girl who is brutally honest with everyone around her, and will say whatever is one her mind regardless if it hurts another persons feelings or not. She does not like to be pushed around unless you really push her buttons, Riley will fight back if she has to. She however is an extremely loyal person to a fault and will always stick up for them if they don't do it for themselves, she sometimes enjoys getting into heated arguments with anyone around her. When she is upset she will lash out on someone even if they have done nothing wrong to her at all.
Since the loss of Newnan as well as her sister Chloe, Riley has since then been a lot more distant and cold towards those that are around her. Though she still will say whatever is on her mind, Riley has become rather overprotective to those that she has gotten close with over the last year. More so with Amelia than anyone else, she'd happily die for anyone in the Hordebuster group. Though when she is completely alone or has actual time for herself Riley will be more quiet than anything like she is in deep thought over something.
Habits: Riley when embarrassed will rub the back of her neck or plays with her hair. When Riley is in a bad mood she will glare at just about anyone. She also is known to just hum random songs or tunes when she is alone and by herself. Riley tends to play with Ryan's Cross Necklace that was on Chloe's body when she died. Your First Walker Encounter: After finishing up her last performance of the night at a concert in LA Riley had headed off of the stage while her bandmates went to the bus that would drive them to their hotel. Riley was the last person as she walked past some of the back stage crew, one of them didn't look well at all as she went over towards him to see if he needed any help and grab one of the medics back stage. The young man ended up collapsing, then the man died, Riley tried to call for help when a few moments later her came back to life. That's when her first walker tried to take a chunk out of her, seeing that Riley was in trouble one of the body guards to protect her and the crew back stage went to help.
The man quickly took a chunk out of the bodyguard's arm, Riley started to freak out and she quickly made a beeline towards her car since she didn't live to far away from where the concert was at. Once she got home Riley decided to just drink the rest of the night and hoped that it was just a bad dream.
History Before Outbreak: During high school Riley actually struggled with a lot of things, from grades to her sexuality to even being bullied by other kids in the school. She hung out in the wrong crowd and was usually either skipping class or rarely ever paying attention to her teachers. Riley was the trouble child of the family and always got into some sort of argument with her parents and siblings. This was also the time when Riley started dyeing her hair different colors, this also ended up getting her into trouble with her teachers and other staff. But she refused to dye her hair a more natural color, which led her getting a few suspensions in the past, she was just expressing herself.
Then when she decided to come out of the closet, her friends were happy some didn't really care but when she came out to her family it led her to getting kicked out of the house. Riley ended up rooming with a friend of hers and her family, Riley also ended up getting a job at a local fast food joint. During her time in high school however Riley actually help found a rock band with a few other kids, which they would perform from time to time during school events if she was asked to do it. Riley of course stays in contact with them some have still stuck to her to this day, Riley enjoyed playing music for her fellow students and helped her make a few more friends.
She eventually moved out to LA for awhile buying the cheapest apartment that she could find, eventually Riley started writing her own songs. Riley and her band produced their first album within a year, their music then started getting more attention as it played on the radio. Then they started to do a national tour across the country. After three years of writing touring and all the traveling Riley decided to take a short break.
Riley settled into Pittsburgh and actually got a girlfriend and the two dated for quiet awhile, until her girlfriend had enough of Riley going out to parties constantly. She then started writing more songs and then got back with her band once again to produce their fourth album, and then several interviews were lined up as well for their next world tour. Then the strange reports started coming out as riots started and the world started to turn to shit.
History Since Outbreak: Waking the next day Riley woke with a really bad hangover she tried to turn on the TV but while she was out things started to get worse than they already were and power was out. Riley made her way towards the window seeing that there were still riots in the streets, she went and made sure that the door was locked. She had enough food that would last for about a week. Eventually a week past and Riley ended up going through her supply of food, luckily there wasn't any looters that tried to break into her apartment. Desperate for food she grabbed a baseball bat and headed out, Riley started to search for any kind of food at a nearby convince store she always stopped by to get something small of course the place was looted.
As Riley continued to search nearby stores she bumped into a group a nice group of people, they worked together using her apartment as a place to hold up in. They managed to get their hands on some radios from dead soldiers, one night Riley and her group started to hear explosions going off looking out the window Riley and her group saw military jets starting to fire bomb LA. Knowing that it wouldn't be safe anymore they went towards the parking garage Riley got into her car while the group she was with got into others that were still working.
They eventually left the city behind staying away from any major cities and stuck to small towns, Riley stuck with the group she was with traveling further eastward hoping to find anything or a larger group. The tight knit group that Riley was with eventually started to crack others started to get sick, or they got bit or attacked by a hostile group. Riley ended up becoming the only survivor of the group driving alone by the time she got to Georgia. She found an abandoned settlement just outside of Albany Georgia where Riley settled down doing what she could to fortify just one building she found was good enough.
Eventually a group of bandits came across where Riley had held up in for the last year they easily took her as their prisoner she was only given enough food and water to keep moving. Then there was a large herd of walkers using that time Riley snuck out during the chaos she found her car she had been calling home for the last three years and quickly started to drive off during the chaos. Desperate for food, water and fuel she decided to try the towns and areas closer towards Atlanta.

Over the last year Riley surprisingly has gotten closer to Ashton now, she considers him as a friend she has deep respect for the guy. Bonding over a bit of booze from time to time if they have the time to, she even asked him to train her on maintaining the Hordebuster. After the Hordebuster broke down, and they were reunited with Tatiana and little baby Jamie. Riley has gotten closer to Ashton on a friendly level anyway that is, when he was shot she listened to him as he gave her a little bit of EMT training on removing that bullet. It did end up getting infected, which Riley would tend to during that time. Riley always will have his back as well and will always follow the man no matter what. 💙 Jack Newnan 💙 "You have certainly been a great friend to be around with." Riley and Jack have become rather good friends over the past year, they joke around and have fun when possible making the long nights in the Hordebuster that much more entertaining. After being reunited with Tatiana Riley is happy to have her back, and that he has his family together and in one piece as well. And Riley has gotten a little bit attached to baby Jamie, usually taking care of him if Jack and Tati aren't able to. Sexuality: Homosexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Chloe has become a lot more blunt and carefree than she was in high school. She's developed a bit of a "give 'em hell" attitude, constantly cracking jokes and being defiant in general. She's also obsessive, something that once helped her achieve straight As, but now is causing her to become more and more susceptible to drugs. Addiction comes easy to her. Of course, that doesn't mean she isn't witty and clever--she's incredibly smart, but she doesn't always use her brains for the best purpose now.
She's also incredibly sensitive, needing to please people. This caused her drive to do what her parents wished, becoming the perfect child while her sister became the trouble child. Prison caused her to grow a bit of a tough and snarky cover for this, but she still craves that acceptance, and can easily be hurt by criticisms. She hides her pain and fears behind humor, searching constantly for something that will truly make the pain and heartache stop, no matter the cost. She's the perfect child who fell off the bandwagon and refuses any help, but the apocalypse has forced her into a rigorous detox program that can give her near mood swings from time to time.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Chloe was in the federal prison in Los Angeles, when reports started coming in about the undead rising. The inmates were growing more and more restless as each day passed, and eventually, they organized. They had a riot planned, and managed to execute it almost perfectly, trampling several guards as they fled the prison. Chloe still remembers perfectly one guard, killed in the riot, chasing after them, entirely unhinged. It wasn't until later that she realized he was, indeed, a walker.
History Before Outbreak:Growing up, Chloe's parents were incredibly demanding. They pushed her towards excellence and perfection, constantly taking her to ballet lessons, self defense classes, and violin lessons. If there was another parent taking their kid to the activity, Chloe was forced to do it. Among all of these other activities, her parents expected her to read "great" novels and keep up with politics, and maintain perfect grades in schools. At the age of three, they decided for her that she would become a surgeon.
Of course, Chloe tried to please her parents. She studied as hard as she could, and became a mess whenever she received a lower grade than an A. Forgoing a social life and sleep, Chloe managed to meet her parents expectations at the sacrifice of her sanity, and ended up in therapy for an anxiety disorder in her later high school years. She quit therapy soon after graduating, having been accepted to numerous universities, and while she wanted to go Indiana State, her parents decided for her that Stanford would be the appropriate choice.
She attempted to graduate with honors and holding an internship at a local hospital, and she turned to Aderall and energy drinks in order to be able to stay up and study. However, she soon became addicted to the drug. By her second year in college, Chloe was hooked. Falling in with the wrong crowd of people, Chloe began smoking weed, before progressing to heroin and cocaine in her final year of college. She insisted that the drugs were merely to help her focus, and while she did graduate successfully, she lost her focus and her drive, instead spending her days with the comforts of LSD and anything she could get her hands on.
Shortly after her college graduation, Chloe was arrested for the use of heroin, as well as auto-theft. Chloe served her time at a minimum security federal prison in California. When she arrived, she was asked what her name was -- but thinking they asked for the day of the week, she replied "Tuesday." Until the outbreak, Chloe always went by that name--Tuesday. In prison, she mostly kept her nose clean, and attempted to go sober several times. She was sent to solitary once, but beyond that, served her time with her head down.
Her parents had already disowned her, and unable to muster the courage to go back to medical school, Chloe--still going by Tuesday--fell in with the wrong crowd once again. The only contact she had with her family was listening to her twin sister's songs on the radio, and she spent her time going in and out of prison. Each time, the charges were more serious than the last.
History Since Outbreak: Chloe ran back to the relative safety of her kingpin, once she got out of jail. Only problem was, once she arrived at the old headquarters (so to speak), no one was there. Giving in to her craving, she did what little drugs she could find, before recalling that her sister, Riley, was in town. She sent a call to Riley, using a stolen phone, and made arrangements to leave L.A. with her sister.
It took some clever sneaking around the city, in order to avoid death from the riots. Once Riley had an established group in the apartment, Chloe--still called Tuesday then--managed to make it there. She arrived practically just in time, the very day that Riley and the group packed up into Riley's car, and fled L.A. before the bombs dropped.
Surprisingly enough, there aren't drug dealers hanging around during the apocalypse. Chloe went through a rather painful and agonizing detox process, involving a lot of heart-to-hearts, as well as excessive vomiting. At one stop on their trip east, as they ran into a hostile group, Chloe ended up being left behind, the group assuming that she had died from her illness. No one could have known she was still alive.
She played dead until the group left, and as she was entirely alone, Chloe did some hard thinking about her life. She had a keychain with her then, with her prison name on it--Tuesday--that she carried around for good luck. Chloe buried the keychain there, letting go of that old name and that old life. She was ready to be herself again. It was slow moving, but Chloe spent her time initially getting better, and once she was mostly recovered, she went back on the move. She had to find her sister, Riley, and she knew that she had been heading east.
Teaching herself how to drive, Chloe used abandoned cars to make her east. She figured that Riley would have been taken in by some larger group, and she knew that her sister would survive, somehow. She's been hoping in cars, abandoning them, looking around, and traveling as best as she can from place to place, all in the hopes of finding her sister. She had spent her entire life before being an idiot, rather than focusing on perhaps the one person in the world who still cared for her. She wasn't going to let an outbreak stop her from finding Riley.

Chloe Ridgeway
{"Just mind your own fucking business for once, okay?"}
☣ Ashton Holloway ☣ "Whoever said you couldn't be tried twice for the same crime was fucking wrong." Even if Chloe has attempted to put her days as a criminal behind her, she can't shake that distaste for authority. In a military settlement like Newnan, that already puts her on guard around Ashton. Whenever Chloe is around Ashton, she feels a little jumpy, and wants nothing more than to avoid him like the plague. Old habits die hard. ❅ Meghna Kumar ❅ "Another person who knows the horrors and delights of twinhood." Chloe didn't expect to get along with Meg so well. Meg doesn't judge her too much or pry into her life. Instead, they joke around and swap stories of what it was like to grow up with a twin. They're pretty decent friends, and with both girls being a little loud, it works. ☯ James Grady ☯ "Haven't had the pleasure." Chloe certainly knows of James. From what she's heard, he's lively and funny, and friendly as well. However, she hasn't spent much time with James, not enough to form any real opinion on him yet. He's an acquaintance at best. ✿ Kristina Smith ✿ "We're lunch buddies. It's like high school all over again." Kris and Chloe have relatively similar personalities, and the two of them started eating meals together. While they do hang out occasionally outside of lunch and the likes, they aren't especially close yet. However, it does help that Kris has gotten pretty close with Chloe's sister, Riley, as well. ☯/✿ Richard Johnson ☯/✿ "The devil you know, right? At least he doesn't judge my every fucking move." As much as Chloe wants to run from her past, she can't deny it: she feels comfortable around people like Richard. She hanged out with plenty of people like him when she lived in California, and now, it feels almost natural for her to hang around him. They don't talk much, however. ⚜ Victor Bonheur ⚜ "If he wasn't right, I'd write him off as just another asshole in this goddamn world." Chloe knows that Froggy doesn't trust her, since he won't let her be in the infirmary without him present. She's ashamed of that fact, though she recognizes that he is right. Temptation might not be present now, but it could come later on. Chloe realizes she's worked too hard to slip up and she respects Froggy--but that doesn't mean it doesn't bother her still. ☯ Tatiana Korvo ☯ "Even with the threat of walkers, she's got the picture perfect life." Chloe doesn't mind Tatiana, though she knows what Tatiana's trying to do. Problem is, of course, that Chloe doesn't want to talk about the past. She'd rather bottle it all up and deal with it that way. She bears no ill will towards Tatiana, of course. ☣ Agnes Johannsson ☣ "You know when they say it's always the quiet ones? I'm positive they're talking about this creepy bitch." Truthfully, Bryn has done nothing to make Chloe so suspicious. And that's exactly what has brought on Chloe's paranoia. Bryn never talks, and Chloe knows that the woman doesn't trust her. Chloe avoids her when she can, convinced that Bryn is one of the creepiest people to ever walk the planet. ☣ Niesha Burkstien ☣ "It's not you, it's me." With Niesha working in pharmaceuticals, Chloe has taken an odd sort of policy towards the woman. It isn't that Chloe dislikes her or anything--she thinks Niesha is actually a great person. It's more that Chloe doesn't trust herself around Niesha. She doesn't want to let herself have a connection to someone who could get her drugs. Better to not open that door. ❅ Ryan O'Reily ❅ "He doesn't seem to realize I'm gay..." Did Chloe intend to become best friends with one of the most hated men in Newnan? Nope. Life just ended up working out that way. Both of them share a certain stigma, especially with those in Newnan who know about what Chloe's old life looked like. And while they are great friends, Chloe is very aware of his crush on her. Problem is, Ryan isn't her type. He's a guy, after all. ✿ Raymond Mendoza ✿ "He's a pretty decent guy." After helping to save the guy's life, friendship came pretty easily. Chloe can tell that he respects her, and it's definitely a good feeling for her. And seeing Ray recover, well, Chloe can hardly believe it happened in this day and age. Miracles do happen on occasion. ☯ Jack Hudson ☯ "Please stop asking me if I need to talk to someone, okay?!" If you asked Chloe, Jack and she are not friends. For Jack, that's probably a different story. The cop knows something dark is in Chloe's past, and every time he sees Chloe without a huge smile on her face, he asks if she's okay. He's trying to be helpful, but for Chloe, it's annoying. She gets that he's trying to be helpful--she just doesn't want any help. ☣ Tiffany Lyle ☣ "Let me get this straight--I help save your boy toy's life and you won't talk to me because I'm a felon? Fucking fantastic." If someone asked Chloe to point at an example of class prejudice, Chloe would consider her relationship with Tiffany. Tiffany found out about Chloe's past and found her personality to be a bit too loud. After that, there was no chance of friendship. Chloe can't help but take it personally, with things tense between her and Tiffany. They don't talk. ☯ Sana Rouen ☯ "I get it. Cherish my sister. Got anything else to say?" Sana hardly says much to Chloe, beyond an instruction to cherish her sister. And while Chloe knows that Sana lost her brother, the meaning behind the message feels more and more distant with each time Sana says it. ☯ Amelia Payne ☯ "She's fine. Last name has good potential for an annoying as fuck catchphrase." The two of them haven't really talked much. The most they have in common, after all, is their red hair. Beyond that, Chloe has almost no opinion on the woman. Just another one of the many faces of Newnan. ✿ Ciel Jaquith ✿ "The best thing about kids? They can't judge you for things they don't understand shit about." While Chloe knows that Ciel is tougher than he looks and has gone through more than a typical kid should have to, she still enjoys the relative judgment free zone being around Ciel provides. She's fairly sweet with him, and enjoys his company. It's almost like receiving a fresh start. ☢ Beatrice Decker ☢ "Bitch needs to calm the fuck down and worry about her own life." Chloe knows that Beatrice dislikes her, as the woman hardly does anything to hide her distaste. And to make matters worse, she can tell that Beatrice isn't just judging her, but Riley as well. No one fucks with her sister. She can't stand the prejudice she feels from Beatrice's glances, and hardly makes any efforts to talk to her. Her main form of communication with Beatrice is via her middle finger. ❦/☣/❅ Riley Ridgeway ❦/☣/❅ "She's my twin sister. I'm contractually obligated to like her." They're sisters. When they grew up, Chloe did nothing when her parents kicked Riley out of the house, and it's one of her deepest regrets. Things are a bit awkward as they try to find something that works again between the two of them, but Riley means the world to Chloe. She's the only family she's ever really had, after all.
Sexuality: Varying as the tides Relationship Status: Ash's Woman Personality: Thana is an island onto herself. A bit peculiar and even strange at times, she tends to do things and think outside of the box. She thinks in a more logical way than most, weighing out what needs to be done and seeing resources other might over look; even in themselves. She can be unique in her way of thinking and acting, or at lest she tries to be. The woman is adaptable, always was, but now it has taken on new forms, finding ways to push herself or even communicate in ways she didn't before. She can focus for extended periods of time to work through things. She believes that anything she wants she must earn and is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to obtain it. Having spent so many years in the military she has no problem with authority but she likes the chain of command to be definite and defined. She can follow orders as well as give them. She usually will not call out a superior in public but she will ask to speak freely behind closed doors, then all bets are off.
The woman is very caring and charismatic when she wants to be, as well as genuine. She has a quick wit about her and cracks jokes, granted some come at the oddest time and unless you get the reference chances are it will fly over your head. An adventurous soul deep down but that has lead her to problems in her past. She has always been dutiful and the military helped her find focus she lacked. Finding herself among a group of others and a new family she cared for deeply. She prefers not to be alone and seeks out others to be around, yet there have been times when she has locked herself away from others to do what she felt was protecting herself from ridicule. She doesn't like being thought of as being just like others, or being compared to another. Much of the time she must press the personal aside and not let it taint her deductions or color her actions. Work is work, personal is personal. The two should not cross and she does not let them, save on the rare occasion. Officers do not have such luxury. Her loyalty to those she cares about has grown ten fold. She was always about getting the job done but now she has an obsessive need that leaves everything else behind, even her own health. Repressing so much to a point where on the surface it seems she can lack any emotion at all. Undaunted by pain or reality, she pushes forward with a sense of urgency. She is protective, willing to lay her life on the line without thinking it fully out just to ensure people she is loyal to stand a chance.
Thana does not give people the benefit of the doubt. While she isn't one to judge and knows there is strength in numbers she is far from naive and doesn't automatically see the best in others. Opting more to give people a clean slate when starting and seeing how quickly they tarnish it. She does not forgive usually, figuring if someone screws up they most likely will again unless something major changes and major changes do not happen overnight. Once crossed she burns the bridge, it is up to them and them alone to rebuild it if they so chose. If they do not, then she knows she made the right choice. If they do, then she knows they have changed enough to be worth a word. Thana does not expect nor give explanation to those she cares about or are supposed to trust her, if one trusts then one's presence should be enough. One should not have to relive the past once trust is established. It is one thing when you are getting to know someone when trust must be built, it is another when you have already had each others backs for months and years.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Spending time in Athens, giving lectures at the local university Thana was out and about around town, checking out the local bars and doing what she did best - recruiting. Looking for those "lost souls" that needed direction in their life. There was a massive heat wave and walking down the street between college bars an older gentleman had a heat stroke in the middle of the road.
Rushing over she did what she could but it was too late. Standing there and keeping people back as they waited for the EMT the man came back and decided to teach those young whipper snappers a lesson it seemed by trying to gnaw on them like a dog with a bone. As the poor kid pulled away and the man was kicked back, a single bullet to the head from Thana's service pistol dropped him like yesterdays left overs.
History Before Outbreak: Thana grew up in south Georgia and most believed that she wouldn't amount to anything. Sure, she was smart and beautiful but she was just born too late and became the spare to a mother that only had eyes for one. A bit peculiar growing up, she never truly fit in and was always clamoring for attention she never received no matter what she achieved. Much of her childhood was spent with her nose in a book or in the woods collecting plants and insects.
By the time she was a teenager she was lashing out and getting into all sorts of trouble. Hanging out with the wrong crowds and doing everything she shouldn't. Skipping school, drugs, drinking, partying, theft, etc. She had a juvi record a mile long but she didn't care. Bad attention was better than no attention in her mind. She ended up racking up a juvi sheet a mile long.
At 18 she was already facing prison. Not for anything major but just because she was a problem and a constant drain on the system. The judge for her most recent crime charge knew she was smart and she could be more than just a drop out. He gave her the option - Join the Military or go to prison. Figuring serving was a better option than becoming Bertha's cell mate, she got her GED in county lock up and joined the U.S. Navy. It was going to be the Marines but when taking her ASVAB, she tested so high the recruiter pulled some strings and got her in.
It was the best thing that could have happened for Thana. Her life completely turned around. In the U.S. Navy she found direction and recognition, a family in her fellow sailors. While in the Navy she quickly was able to get her degree in botany and then it was off to officers training. Years passed, she climbed the ranks, got her doctorate in botany, and found that her best place was in research. Being sent to various locations around the world to research invasive species of plants and insects as well as helping with U.N. efforts to teach locals how to best farm and utilize their lands and resources.
She ended up getting "stationed" (for lack of a better term) in the South East with a recruitment office. Thana had become the poster child of what you could become no matter how far you fell. She would travel from high school to high school - mostly juvi detention centers - giving lectures on how her life started, what she had done in her past and just how far she had come. At the end of 2006 she was invited to UGA in Athens Ga to give a lecture to a post graduate class on the invasive flora of Georgia and how to fight against it.
History Since Outbreak: Being in a crowded college town was not the best place in the world to have as a starting point for the end of the world. This "disease" spread fast and being in the military meant you worked with the local police, rescue, and national guard to try to keep things under control. It didn't go well and before long Athens was overrun with the Walkers. A last minute evacuation was all that kept Thana alive and she watched from the helicopter as the air force tried in vain to carry out an air strike on the city. The air strike hit but burning only went so far where these things were concerned.
The chopper took her and a few others back to the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay on the coast of Georgia near St. Mary's. By the time they landed the place was already over run, though thankfully it was not as populated as Athens had been. Her and others were able to clear the majority of the Walkers from the base and hold up in one of the submarines for a couple of years. Using it as a base of operation and going out in search of supplies when needed.
Yet time takes it toll on all areas. There were not enough of them left by the time they decided to move on to actually use the submarine so the choice was made to lock up and leave in search of more. Maybe given enough time thy could get enough people and train them so they could actually set sail to ports elsewhere. It was a thought and one that never came to fruition. Within three months of leaving the so called safety of the base for recruitment Thana was the only one left.
During the next year she has wandered the state, moving a little more west each day and trying to find people. She has run across a few but nothing long lasting. Even though she was a hellion in her younger years, a career in the navy taught her quickly who she could and could not work with. Ever sensing shit was about to hit the fan, she would sneak off in the night from any groups she came across and move on. The last few weeks of that winter had been the hardest with the cold and snow setting in. God knows she needs to find some type of shelter and warmth soon.
A single day in the city of Newnan changed everything for her. She discovered her sister was dead, she found someone she connected with, watched a wedding. Then everything changed again. Newnan was lost, she was separated from the one she connected with, she raided Eden, she lost an old love and a crazy person who might have turned out to be a friend. Over the next year she has kept moving forward, trying her best to keep her group alive and to finally reach Mexico beach. Now in Florida is seemed they were close but were they close enough?
Shit took a bad turn when her truck went off the edge of a bridge. She didn't remember what happened but she was told when she woke up in a hospital weeks later with a shattered face, broken femur, and a feeding tube. Apparently when she was pulled out of the water, she wasn't breathing and they didn't think she had a pulse. That explained the odd dream she had had. CPR until the helicopter reached MCB and an adrenaline shot later she was rushed into surgery. She didn't wake up for weeks and when she did she was in pain. Yet she managed to let the people of CMB know why she had been out. They sent teams out to start searching and as soon as she could put weight on her leg, thanks in part to the steel brace put into the side of her leg to help the bone heal, she was out of bed. And then out of camp to search, for the four she left behind, and the one who still needed to return her dog tags.
Six weeks before a new crew was brought into Camp Mexico Beach, she set out in search of them with one other who volunteered. She hadn't been heard from since but they were geared up for a two month trek into the wilderness. They went west, figuring that the extraction team would continue to look and stay closer to base. She was going in a direction they hadn't searched, just in case. She couldn't count anything out. Before departing she was promoted to Commander by the C.O. of CMB.
The entire trip was a waste of time, at least when it came to searching for those she was looking for it was. Thing was, it wasn't a completely uneventful trek out into the wilderness. Thana and her traveling partner were able to secure some supplies, reroute a large hoard and take out a group of hostiles along the way. It was a rough journey but they made it back. Thana had given up by the time they reach CMB once again. Little did she know what awaited her there. Now she is trying to put a life together among her family. The place is finally home.

Now it's time to try to actually get to know each other. ♨️/🎆 Alexander Polawski 🎆/♨️ "Keep moving soldier" Thana still blames herself for his injury and loss of limb. That isn't going to change. Your First Walker Encounter: Bitching, so get this shit. I was in the Mess Hall at Fort Knox, you know minding my own damn business and trying to get used to American Food. I mean it ain't bad but what is this shit they call grits? Right, so anywho. I was sitting and eating with this fucktard starts choking on a raisin of all damn things. He ends up keeling over. Great. I just keep eating because I am not a fucking doctor or mortician. Before they could get there he decides he wants more to eat but he is eating off menu. Raisins be deadly!!!
History Before Outbreak: Okay, well shit for me was pretty every day when I was a young kiwi. I had fun, I cut my Barbie's hair, I got into trouble but not enough to get tossed into jail or anything. Loved shoving mentos into diet coke. Shit like that. Your average hyper active girl that caused more than one gray hair to sprout from my parents head. School was okay but fuck, why the hell would I want to do more than just what I needed to? It wasn't like I was a fucking rocket scientist or anything, I just liked getting my hands dirty and extreme situations. Well not totally extreme, I totally sucked at surfing but don't tell anyone that; someone from New Zealand that can't surf? Be like saying that you were the pope but not catholic. You get weird looks.
I guess it was kind of a surprise to my parents when I signed up for the Army. I mean how can someone with my fashion sense be expected to wear a uniform? But fucking aces, I loved it! I laid eyes on a tank for the first time and suddenly every other man I had ever laid eyes on was inadequate. You know what I am saying. I started out as a driver, then was made a gunner - Po-po-po-pow! Eventually the fucktards, I mean the brass decided that I should be put in charge. Bwhahahahahaha!!! Oh that was the day, should have seen the look on the Col.'s face when he got the promotions list. I think he shit himself, it was priceless.
So yeah, shit was going well and all. There were some wars and such around the world, when the fuck aren't there - well before the outbreak that is. Anywho... You yanks wanted to do some war exercises and do that whole cross military relations thing. So out to Fort Knox it was, wherever the fuck that is. I got to meet a bunch of really damn fine guys and I think it shocked the shit out of them to see a girl commanding a tank instead of giving them band-aides. But hey, I showed them I know how to handle things. It was loads of fun. That was....
History Since Outbreak: Until that whole fucking outbreak thing. We had gotten some word in here and there about weird freak outs but from what the Yanks were saying shit like that happened; especially in Florida. Hey, isn't that were Micky Mouse is from? Fuck, okay as I was saying. Shit hit the fan and a lot of the guys were called out places. I thought me and my crew were going to get shipped back home but well that didn't fucking happened and I was grounded. Granted I didn't fucking care. I wasn't Jet, I was Tank Girl. I like being on the ground. Fucking good that I had my tank with me. I ain't letting that beast go for nothing.
Fuck, where was I? Oh yeah. So like everything was as fucked up as a monkey fucking football bat. (Heard some Yank say that) Folks eating folks, dead men walking. Was really twisted and coming from me that is saying something. A lot of us when everything fell apart just stayed at Knox and did what we could to fucking stay alive. I mean we had enough MRE's to feed a third world country, some walls, and a lot of fucking weapons and ammo. Every thing you needed to survive. Or so we fucking thought.
It was good for about the first two years. We lost some of course and had to kill some. Shit happens. But some of us were still alive. It would get boring though. I mean shit, when there is not Bay Watch you try to find other shit to do. Part of that is learning shit. I really should have gone to college, well fuck that maybe not but you get my damn point. So I learned shit and taught shit, and got bored... Really fucking bored. So I grabbed a few fellow head cases and we got to work remodeling my baby. He is fucking sweetly decked out now, complete with deck. Well not deck but hey, I have a grill! Girl has to have a grill.
Then people got sick, I went out to make a medical run but by the time I got back everything was over run. I was the only one left. ~hangs head and pours out half a beer in memory~ So it was time to move on. Luckily my bay runs on pretty much anything. Trust me, he has an iron stomach. And I don't go anywhere without my tank. So I started driving around. Hadn't really found anywhere that wanted me other than for my tank and sorry gents, we come as a package deal. A few fights along the way, lots of killing walkers or running them over. Now I am headed towards this place called Newnan? Newman? Salad Dressing? Right, anywho! I see a wall! Time to knock and see if anyone is home.

Getting close to people quickly and considering them family.
Gavin does have his downsides. He is impetuous, rarely thinking before he acts. He just kind of rolls with it. This can get him in trouble and while he doesn't have a problem with authority he will do in the end what he feels best, fuck order. Texans walk to their own beat of the drum. When he wants to be, Gavin can be very intimidating, and down right scary in his actions and words. Granted, when he gets to this point, words usually aren't the issue, his actions are. He can be quick to temper and go to dark places but he is working through some issues like all. For the most part Gavin just wants to live and enjoy life.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Gavin was booking a drug smuggler into the local jail so that he could transfer him back to Austin. The guy was on some new drug that Gavin was never able to find out what it was but he OD's and died in the cell. While waiting for the coroner to arrive they housed the body in the cell since there was no one else there and it was already a mess. The corpse reanimated during the wait time and tried to grab Gavin through the bars. He still says to this day that was the biggest pain in the ass prisoner he ever had to deal with.
History Before Outbreak: Gavin was born and raised in the great state of Texas and is a Texan through and through. As a child running through the fields and doing what country boys did on the farm. Never took it seriously, he was just out to have fun. He played football, who didn't in Texas? It was a religion. God, Family, Football. He was recruited in High School to play for Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He was good but never good enough to be a pro football player but he didn't care.
After college he joined the Austin Police Department and worked his way up quickly. He was a bit of a problem causer but he got the job done. After eight years with the department and being promoted to major crimes he joined the Texas Rangers. During this time he met his wife Christiana and life was good. Yet a drunk driver ended up killing her while he was out on a case. He never got to say goodbye, Christiana dying minutes before he arrived at the hospital.
Gavin ended up going into a very dark place. Drinking and becoming near suicidal. he never tried to kill himself persay but he did nothing to try to stay safe anymore when it came to work. He started taking unneeded risks and nearly got his partner killed before he finally began to sober up. It was a hard climb and took several years but eventually Gavin was able to see the light again and move on. There are still twinges every now and then but he feels his wife would be proud of him with as far as he has come. He knows she would want him and be happy.
History Since Outbreak: The outbreak came quickly in Texas, they first thought it was just some out break of some South American flu or something but that wasn't the case as we know. He stayed in Austin as long as he could, working with the Ranger, the local police, and the military to try to keep the streets clear. It was just too much. The high population of Austin made it a target site. He was able to lead a large group out of Austin to his families ranch before Austin was napalmed.
For the next two years they held up at his families large ranch. Turning the main house, and guest quarters into quite the community. Farming, water from the river, it wasn't a bad life. It was probably easier than most had it for a long time. Sure there were walkers but Texans are tough and never had problems with guns. They just turned into target practice.
Gavin figured he might actually just grow old and die there but things are never as easy as they seem. The lack of cold winters in the area, hot summers, and more all lead to everything falling apart. Illness hit, a hoard came through destroying what little crops they had that year and more took out most that lived there. Gavin barely made it out with a dozen others and headed east, figuring it was better to go that way than towards the deserts to the west or the tornado torn plains to the north. Like hell he was going south. Gavin doesn't do open ocean.
Life on the road was far harder than life on the ranch, slowly one by one he lost people. It started driving him back to that dark place but he keeps pulling himself out of it each morning knowing that Christiana wouldn't want him to give up. Right now he is just looking for a new place to call home and a new group to call family.

§/❤ Thana Martin ❤/§ "One that gots away..." Gavin met Thana after Hurricane Rita. She had been on leave in Kingston visiting some friends when the hurricane hit. Gavin, being a good old Texas boy, went to help out. As any Texas Ranger would do. They hit it off and connected. Thing was though, Gavin fell in love and that was why it ended. His wife had only been dead a year and finding someone so quickly, he felt he was betraying her. How Thana took the news he never really knew; she simply nodded, packed her things and left. No words spoken. It was a while later when Gavin pushed the guilt away that he realized he had pushed away something good. By that time it was too late though, the outbreak had occurred and there was no way to try to contact Thana. He's held a flame for her all these years, saying she was the one that got away. He doesn't speak about her much and when he does, he simply refers to her as Strawberry Wine. Lola Holler

❅/❦ Ravi Chakrabarti ❦/❅ "Aww hell, I ain't gay but he's my hubby" Ravi is what Gavin likes to call his HLM, Hetero Life Mate, and it shows. The two go at it like an old married couple when talking to each other but seriously, there isn't a thing that Gavin wouldn't do for Ravi - well except taking that last step LOL. (Ravi is British after all and the Texan half wonders if he is a little limp in the wrist. Not that he has anything against that, he just doesn't swing that way. Gay that is, the British thing he might never get over.) Either way he considers Ravi his BFF, like would totally call him up for a Frappuccino if Starbucks still existed.

Yet he isn't stupid, he knows something is going on between Thana and Ash by the way she reacted to the world opening up and swallowing some people and Ash being stuck on the other side. Sexuality: Heterosexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Ravi is perhaps one of the most passionate people that you will ever meet. Once interested in something, Ravi will go do whatever it is within his power to investigate it and replicate it. For gaming, this allowed him to have nice character stats and items--in real life, it got him through rigorous years of medical school to become a pathologist. His determination knows no bounds and he hates the concept of being limited, whether it be by practicalities or resources. As vibrant an individual as his enthusiasm makes him, his refusal to give up can also hinder him, especially in his personal life.
Ravi also has no verbal filter. If he believes something to be true, then he'll say it. Period. He doesn't sugar coat things and he doesn't hide his opinion. And while he is incredibly smart and knows what he's talking about, there are situations where telling the truth perhaps isn't the best choice to make. It can be a bit unnerving at first, but those who get close to Ravi often appreciate his blunt honesty.

Your First Walker Encounter: Ravi was working the night shift at the morgue, when his roommate, Major, called him in a panic. Major's fiancée Liv, the assistant medical examiner, had been bitten during a boat party on Lake Washington about an hour prior. Liv had developed a massive fever, and rather than wait for the ER to see them, Major rushed her over to see Ravi at the morgue. Ravi kept Liv under observation and examined her as best as he could, but she succumbed to the fever and died a few hours later. Ravi and Major spent the night in the morgue, his friend grieving the loss of his fiancée--only Liv woke up again a few hours later. She was the one and only walker Ravi ever killed, and he regrets not doing more to help Liv to this day.
History Before Outbreak: Ravi had a fairly posh upbringing in central London, attending the best schools and getting fairly decent grades. He went to comic conventions and knew everything about anything fictional. Before Ravi was interested in girls, he was obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons. He did amazingly on his A levels and went on to study surgery initially. However, in the middle of his third year of medical school, he took an upper division anatomy course, where they covered a unit on anatomical pathology. He fell in love with pathology, becoming utterly fascinated with the inner workings of diseases, and changed his career path that semester. It meant a few extra semesters of courses, but he didn't care.
Although his university was in Scotland, he moved to the United States to complete his residency. By the time he finished, he had been offered a position with the Center for Disease Control, which he happily accepted. However, Ravi was fired from his job as a forensic pathologist just four years later. He had developed a bit of an obsession with the possibility of bioweapons, to the extent that his superiors felt it interfered with his work. He was supposed to have been researching the impact of various experimental drugs on diseases with the potential to become epidemics. Instead, Ravi prepped for biological warfare on a global scale.
But being a forensic pathologist with impressive qualifications, Ravi found another job easily. He relocated to Seattle and accepted the position of Medical Examiner with the Seattle PD. Having a steady supply of bodies pouring in, each with some variety, helped to keep Ravi focused on his tasks. However, he did start to keep rats, running minor experiments on them with his friend and assistant Medical Examiner, Liv.
By the time he was thirty, his life was relatively perfect. He was dating a feisty assistant to the district attorney, living with a tremendous bloke who loved video games just as much as he did, and holding down a steady job that he loved. His younger sister of thirteen years even passed her A levels and received admission to Oxford.
History Since Outbreak: But that all changed. After Liv died, Seattle became quickly overrun. The boat party had impacted more people than just Liv and it spread quickly. Ravi and Major narrowly escaped from the morgue with their lives, making their way to the roof. There, they met up with one of the detectives, Clive, who was helping to evacuate personnel with one of the police helicopters. They managed to get to safety, but their luck didn't hold very long. Their pilot had fainted from stress, and with Clive and Major helping other survivors, Ravi received a quick crash course in flying a helicopter.
Ravi flew them into the Wenatchee National Forrest, aiming to get to his girlfriend's cabin in Leavenworth. Instead, they ended up landing in the hardly inhabited town of Skykomish, where the outbreak had not yet spread. And although Ravi called the CDC to offer his services, especially as a responder in the area, he never got a response. The phone lines had been flooded. Instead, they used the helicopter in a search-and-rescue sort of manner, with Ravi slowly improving his piloting skills, and evacuating survivors from the larger cities like Seattle and Tacoma. Skykomish was the most populated it had ever been, though the flight missions stopped when Seattle was deserted and Tacoma was bombed. (But it's Tacoma, so no one was really surprised to begin with...)
The first year, things held steady. They managed to get a small organizational system working, but people soon divided themselves off into groups. Infighting for resources and territory tore the group apart, rather than any threat from the walkers. Ravi fled with Major and Clive in the helicopter, making it as far as Cashmere before it finally ran out of fuel. There, the three men commandeered an RV and headed east, scanning the radio waves for any signs of life or survivors.
For the next two years, the three men were on an apocalyptic road trip of sorts. They came to know the RV as their home, staying with settlements for a week at most. The boys would help those they came across with medical attention and training, perhaps being some of the few decent guys left around. But Major had been a social worker, Ravi took the hippocratic oath, and Clive was a police officer. It was in their nature to help.
By the fourth year, they found themselves in Alabama. Survivors were harder to come across, and settlements were distrustful of them. They had learned to keep to themselves by that point, helping strangers who had been stranded, but never large groups anymore. But when Major and Clive were off gathering food supplies, a hoard came across their makeshift RV-camp site. He never saw his friends again, and after waiting at the rendez-vous point for a few weeks, Ravi moved on. With what meager supplies he has, he's hoping to come across a friendly settlement, and offer his medical expertise in exchange for food and shelter.
He hasn't given up hope that Major and Clive are alive, of course, but he knows he'll never see them again.

Psychology
Honest * Impulsive * Strong-willed * Competitive
Sexuality: Heterosexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: If Samuel was to be described in one word, it would have to be 'fighter'. He's always eager to butt heads with someone and that trait had stuck with him through high school, military training, his boxing career and the events following the outbreak. Always driven by his spirit to fight and the means to back it up, Samuel was always nice to keep around with during a crisis. However this trait of his always ends up with either him or those around getting hurt, so he has mellowed out considerably in comparison to his younger self.
While Samuel is aggressive that doesn't naturally mean that he is a bully at heart. He would never aggravate someone he considers weaker than himself and even going out of his way to fend off actual bullies from people who can't defend themselves. One of the facet of his 'fighter' philosophy is that only the strong are able to defend the weak. He strongly believes in the notion that there are three types of people in this world; sheep, wolves and sheepdogs.
He's difficult to befriend at first, considering his many abandonment issues but once through his defensive mechanism; the façade as a lone gunslinger, people would find a die-hard loyal friend. Samuel's capable of acts of kindness but is inept on a certain level to do so consciously, it is more common that he does so without knowing. Habits:

History
Your First Walker Encounter: Samuel was caught up in the midst of the outbreak in Atlanta with his manager/coach named Dennis, the two were on the outskirts of the city doing their best to flee into the more rural areas. Long since abandoning their car to the unmoving traffic the duo headed into the alleyways in attempt to head to safety. They ran up on a small pack of walkers, the first time seeing them in person, and in an act of self-preservation and general assholishness Dennis had pushed his longtime client towards the pack and ran back to the open street, only to be run down by a truck set on fire, served the bastard right. Luckily Samuel had managed to sock the walker closest to him in the jaw and outrun the rest, making sure to stay clear of dark alleys from then and safely made it out of Atlanta.
History Before Outbreak: Samuel wasn't born on the best of circumstances, conceived out of wedlock between Lee Soo Ji and Capt. Johnathan Clarke as an unexpected, unwanted child. His maternal family rejecting him for his foreign blood and his father not wanting anything to do with raising a baby, Samuel's mother was forced to raise him on her own, with no support of any kind. Though he didn't look the part as a child he was often picked on for his American heritage and he didn't take too kindly to the treatment, on various occasions Soo Ji was called to the school office after her son started to fight back his bullies.
At the age of fifteen he had grown up known as a delinquent who had a short fuse and started a lot of fights and finished a lot more. Nonetheless his mother and grown to love him, seeing past the image he keeps up to ward off others, as a lonely boy missing his father. But this motherly love had ill timing; Soo Jii was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of thirty-six and had little time on this earth. Though with this stroke of misfortune came some good news in the form of Samuel's father, Johnathan, wanting to reconnect with his son and mother of said child. It was eventually agreed upon between the two parents that Samuel would move to America with his father and after a few weeks, many tears shed, and a black eye (Johnathan's), he would have landed on American soil with his father.
The father and son at first had trouble adjusting to one another but with time they would resolve their issues on the one of the few common ground they had: fighting. Johnathan would school his son in hand-to-hand combat after hearing of his stories back in Korea and witnessing an incident at his high school where some of the students would haze the new kid. Samuel would have found a natural innate talent at kicking ass to the point where he was actually scouted by a professional boxer who would frequent the same gym that he would go to. After being invited to participate in a regional amateur tournament and even though he would wound up losing in the semifinals to the current champion, his performance was so impressive that he was offered to go professional as soon as he graduated.
This would have gone off without a hitch if it were not for the fact that Samuel as a male born in the Republic of Korea, needed to do a two-year mandatory military service, luckily his father knowing the intricacies of military procedure had enlisted him for his service on Fort Benning, down in Columbus, Georgia. During his two years Samuel had been trained in the use of firearms, improved his already-athletic physique and learn various practical survival skills. The military instructors had even managed to further hone his brutish nature to fight into something more befitting of a warrior; more collected, adhering to the chain of command and slightly less impulsive than he was before. After learning much from his military service had taken up that long over-due promise for a boxing career and has been making a name himself as an exceptional rookie on the professional stage ever since.
History Since Outbreak: During the first weeks of the outbreak as soon as Atlanta fell to the outbreak Samuel went off on his own to Franklintown, where he last made contact with his father. On his journey he would encounter the initial looting and civil unrest that followed the outbreak, though he would wisely avoid areas of large population and thus the chaos that was brought up by small gangs and the undead, he would already have to dispatch many of the latter on the way to Florida. It was then when Samuel would find his trusty modernised gladius, twenty-five inch long and two inch thick blade of steel, that was discarded in a corpse, splitting its head in two.
Eventually after two weeks of travel he arrived in his home in Franklintown though he would be utterly devastated at what he found. At first he was relieved with how the house was boarded up and manned with homemade defences but he soon noticed the bullet casings littering the pavement and the door wide open. He crept inside and after weeks of not knowing his father's fate Samuel had found him, sitting in the sofa, his rotting head blown to bits, finger on the trigger, holding picture frame, holding a photo of a teen striking up a boxing pose, Samuel would grieve for years to come but only then would he allow himself to cry. After using up his tear ducts, he would bury the man who raised him on his favourite spot on the beach that overlooked the ocean with the sun setting.
A few months into the first year Samuel would have travelled back up to the state of Georgia, specifically the city of Columbus, where Fort Benning would be. After arriving and to his dismay he had found the base looted of most its supplies and many corpses, both the dead and the undead, littered about the place. What he would find was some military rations, a map which detailed the rate of infection across the country (which was mostly inaccurate even then) and a .308 Remington Model 700 with some ammo lying around. With everything he could gather all packed up into his rucksack, Samuel would have quickly fled the place before he could be alerted to its residents.
The second year had him jumping from town to town, occasionally camping it out for more than a few weeks in a comfortable enough house. He encountered plenty of the undead as he travelled but the most challenge they posed killing was when they came in large groups and that was a rare occurrence. However he had somehow managed to steer clear of people so far but this would have probably been due to his manner of travelling; through thick forestry and avoiding highly populated towns like the plague, although despite his best efforts it was inevitable that he would run into someone.
During the third year a group of four men of variable ages, the youngest looking eighteen or so, had rolled up with trucks into the town he was currently residing in. Samuel would observe from two blocks away on the roof of a building, using the scope on his rifle, the group unloaded a person from one of their trucks. They forced the man onto his knees, who looked to be sobbing and seemingly pleading for something, one of the four who appeared to be a leader had enough, pulling out a pistol and shot him point black to the face. Samuel had watched from afar, surprisingly coping well with witnessing a murder but truth to be told; he was alarmed, considering the past two years, confirming that his Remington was loaded, he continued to observe the scene unfold. The other three men each with their own machetes began to undress the dead man laying on the ground and promptly began to butcher him. It was at this point did Samuel decide on the fate of the four men, he had heard stories of cannibalism during times of crisis but never did he think that someone would be so weak enough to take a page from the undead and follow suit. Being caught completely off guard with a pair of pistols, a shotgun and no way of discerning where the shooter was? They didn't have a chance..
Samuel would leave town the next morning none the worse and continued to travel across Georgia. Ever since encountering the group of cannibals he had killed three more men and many more walkers..

If the first years of the apocalypse hadn't already turned Alexander into the stereotype of the Vietnam-veteran, then the last year certainly did. Alexander was partly responsible for the massacre at Eden, killing countless Eden-asswipes while losing two of their own random strangers, bringing him all too much back to the days in 'Nam. Him losing the last pictures of his wife was perhaps worse though, as her face fades more and more; while his exterior appears stable and focused, the truth is that the "Show-no-emotion" grunt-mentality has kicked in once again. He's haunted by flash-backs from various parts of his life, including post-outbreak.
The event of losing his foot and half his leg could have broken Alexander even more, but instead it made him more determined than ever. Having already seen what the loss of a limb did to so many veterans before him, he knew that he neither wanted to or could let himself become a liability for the others. So while he's experiencing more flash-backs than before, he's also more determined to prove that he has a place in the group beside being the grandpa. The ol' veteran, Mugsy, wants to show that he's still kicking, even with one leg less.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: The lack of response from the local coast guard on the Bahamas was met by a growing feeling of something being wrong. That's why Alexander turned his boat around from his wife's and his annual boat-trip around the Caribbean, and headed to the closest port he could find. Earlier news on the radio about riots had concerned the couple, but this was different. Alexander called over and over again over the radio, stating his boat's name and coordinates, but received no reply what-so-ever. It wasn't until they saw the harbour itself that they saw that something was indeed very wrong.
At first Alexander thought it was the Bahamas Coast guard that was watching them approach land, but they were too many to be simple them. Then he thought it was a group of tourists waiting for their boat. They all seemed to shout at their boat, but it wasn't until they got ever closer that they saw it; Them. Around the group of people all cluttered up, Alexander saw people all bloodied up, attacking those in the middle with vicious ferocity. Biting, clawing, grabbing and eating them. They weren't simple shouting at them; they were crying for help. As quick as he could, he managed to get some of the people onto his boat and sail away, leaving behind those now lying dead at the pier and the rest, moaning and grabbing after the boat as it sailed away.
History Before Outbreak:
Born into what can only be described as a pretty normal, American family in the 1950's, Alexander was raised by his father alone in the smack-middle of Chicago. His mother had died shortly after giving birth to, which had its impact on both his father and himself. The following years were a big mix of angrily shouting at one another for various reasons, and the peaceful fishing-trips they took on Lake Michigan. That was were his mother had wanted them to be, sitting in a boat and talking happily to each other. Life was good, at least out there. Back home it just got worse.
After turning 18, Alexander wanted to show that he could do whatever he wanted, especially when his father repeatedly told him what he expected of his son. Get an education, get a wife and settle down, just like he had done. Alexander on the other handed wanted excitement and a sense of purpose. His father told him to stop dreaming and listening to his friends. What did they know of adult life after all? That's why, alongside his buddies, he signed up for the army and went to Vietnam. It was to give his father a big "Fuck you". He regretted that decision ever since. Sufficient to say, he found Vietnam ever devestating, even for Nixon's slow withdrawal of US troops. Alexander was assigned and trained as a radio-operator, doing whatever his NCO told him to do and calling in air-strikes at those sorry bastards in the jungle. He survived, though not without scars, both physically and mentally.
Coming back home after three years overseas, he went straight to his father's funeral. Hit by a car on while drunk, a quick and painless death he was told. He hadn't cried during combat, but now he could hold back the tears no more. And so he promised to do what his father told him. Get an education, find a wife and settle down, which was exactly he did. He graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in electronic engineering, which earned him a decent job with a radio-manufacturer on the East Coast. That's where he met his wife, Judith, and where he also set up his own store for electronic appliances and repairs. But one thing didn't change; his life in a boat and love of sailing.
History Since Outbreak:
The small group of survivors, now sailing away from the Bahamas pier, soon had more trouble than simple overcrowding. People began to turn, leading to several bites before the infected either got thrown overboard, got their heads caved in or both. It was soon apparent that while they could be somewhat safe on Alexander's boat - the inability of their attackers to get onboard from the water being one proof -, it was far from a long-term solution. Who could tend to the wounds of those attacked? Where could they go to find the army? Government? Anyone who could help? What would they eat? Soon they all agreed to sail for Miami as quick as possible. Surely things couldn't be worse there.
To a certain extent, it was worse. They were met with the same sight Alexander and his wife had seen days before. Larger crowds of people at the docks, all angrily grabbing after the boat as they remained just out of distance. Docking in Miami was scrapped, and they decided to sail northward to find a more suitable harbour. As hours passed, more of the wounded began to turn, forcing Alexander to do something he hadn't done for years; kill someone. He had kept a pistol in his boat just for safety, but never dreamed of using it. When he did, over and over again over the coming days and weeks, he felt the black hole grow bigger inside his chest. Once they found a suitable pier somewhere north in Florida, their group had shrunk from 21 to 13. It would only shrink ever more.
They made a plan. A simple plan, but one that might work; gather up supplies of various sorts, sail out to an island off the coast, and try to live out there in isolation. The previous plan had been scrapped after a few days of staying on land, showing the dangers of living in close proximity to highly-populated areas. Both the infected and those still sane - as the group thought of it before the term "Walker" reached the group - posed a threat to them. It was best to live away, isolated and alone. The first months were harsh due to a constant lack of food and water, not helped in any way by the fact that none of the group actually had experience with farming beside gardening. Fishing helped, but only so far before they slowly began to grasp the concept of agriculture. They were hungry, but alive and safe for now. Walkers didn't appear that far out.
That was two years ago, before someone on that island died. Before anyone could react, the corpse sprung back to life, mauling its way through his wife's neck and others. Nobody knew how it had happened, at least those still alive after the incident. Regardless if the island was safe or not, Alexander couldn't stay there anymore, not after that. Some remainded there for various reasons, Alexander did not. If the island wasn't safe anymore, then why should they shy away from the mainland? More land, more people and more resources. It was a gamble worth taking.
Alexander and his now smaller group travelled through Florida, up north into Georgia for a better climate, though that was as far as their planning went. For Alexander it was just good enough to get away from past, and from his mistakes. They would have to learn to do better, to adapt or die. Some died, but the others learned. Scavening on their way north, they found whatever they needed to survive and more. Alexander himself found the use of walkie-talkies that he fixed when splitting the group into smaller parts. It was easier to sneak around the Walkers that way. Then the snow came, and an already weakened rag-tag group of survivors didn't fare well in the winter cold. One wandered off into the night in search of food, another was bitten by a Walker during sleep. The rest were killed when their shelter were overwhelmed by Them, while Alexander got away. Of that, however, he isn't proud.
It was by pure coincedence that Alexander ran into two ladies with a TANK, and even more that he didn't get shot through that whole day. After failing at his social skills like a lawyer in a kindergarten, bringing back a tea-set and coffe mug brought the trust (and his used nickname) with it as the three found another group. He didn't then and still doesn't truly know why he joined in the assault on Eden, but from then on he stuck with them. Then they went south for Florida, but along the way Alexander lost half his leg to a damned bear-trap, turning him into the cripple he feels like now. But he refuses to let that stop him; the alternative, he would rather not live through.

Where is Thana? Is she alive and just stuck out there, or...Alexander doesn't know. For a while he assumed she would return and things would go back to 'normal', but that didn't happen. She never returned to that house, and as time continues to roll forward he is losing hope that she's alive. Perhaps he does miss her ordering them about and the familarity of the military side of her, but not her pity. Anyway, being MIA and KIA carries little difference those days. He still prays for her though. 💛♨️ Thalia Carmichael ♨️💛 "Thanks for sticking with me." With the loss of Thalia's hand, one'd think that things between her and Alexander would get worse: Now they have two amputees in the group, worsening their chances of survival. But their friendship and respect has been steadily growing instead. Alexander is still thankful that Thalia stuck around after he lost his leg, and he wouldn't dream of doing anything different by her and her hand. And hey, it adds up to something else they have in common, like their backgrounds in electronics. 💙🎆 Beatrice Decker 💙🎆 "A friend knows when and where not to ask questions." The friendship between Alexander and Beatrice hasn't changed much over the last weeks of survival, with the two unlikely friends maintaining the status quo from after the Battle of Eden. Beatrice still refrains from questioning about Alex's past, and he refrains from asking about hers. When Thana left, Alexander feared for a moment that Beatrice would look for greener pastures instead of sticking around two amputees and an old doctor. But she stuck around, and he's glad she did. 💙 Emanuel "Manny" Newman 💙 "Hey Manny, sorry for threatening to kill you earlier. You're a good guy." With the loss of a leg and being that doctors are a breed rarely found those days, Alexander wouldn't want anyone but Manny by his side to keep him patched up and walking. Things is that for a while Alexander started closing up to him with Manny asking about his past, going back into the shell of his old self. Thankfully Manny stopped with that, and now Alexander is glad to have their Shotgun Dentist by his side. They all need him more than ever before.
Name: Thalia Angelica Carmichael Aliases: Angel, Thalia Gonzalez Age: 29 Birthday: March 21 (Aries) Ethnicity: Caucasian and Hispanic Birth Place: San Francisco, CA Location: Boston, MA Gender: Female Major/Minor: Electronics Engineering/Criminal Justice at Suffolk University (Go Rams!) Occupation: Security Specialist and Trainer, MSS Boston Office Languages: English (slight Boston accent), Spanish (Fluent)
Appearance
Height: 5’9” Weight: 145 Build: Athletic Eyes: Hazel Hair: Black, short Skin Tone: Pale Tan Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Ears pierced (regularly wears studs), slash marks on her lower back and side, bullet scar below left collarbone.
Sexuality: Hetero (sporadic fluidity) Relationship Status: Single, not particularly looking Personality:
Experience has taught Angel to stay cautious and feel out people before letting her guard down, especially in recent years. There is an independent streak in her that used to be much more pronounced; the Apocalypse has taught her the wisdom of community, even if she stays near the fringe. Once she relaxes and begins to trust, she reveals a young lady who is dedicated and fiercely loyal. Angel is generally respectful to people, if not always 100% compliant.
The rogue Gonzalez dislikes authority for its own sake. She will follow orders, but from people that she genuinely respects. Even then it is taken as something of a guideline, changeable as the situation changes. The same applies to the reciprocal of this: Angel is not always comfortable taking on positions of final authority. Specific circumstances would have to be present for her to volunteer for leadership roles. Angel has no desire for power over others, preferring to contribute to a group as an individual pulling her weight, working within her skill set.
Angel is a decent person, if very rough around the edges. She has strong protective instincts for those she considers friends, and like many in her family has a profound sense of family honor and its darker aspects. Despite this, she does not fully possess the brash, in-your-face manner of her Prima, nor the quiet, raw intimidation of her Tío. She is not a stereotype of her lineage, though the influence is remarkable. Angel remains her own person, a little more pragmatic and cautious than some of her bloodline, yet unmistakably part of the Familia.
She also loves to eat, and has a lack of formal manners in that regard. Oddly enough, she is one of those blessed types with a freaky ideal metabolism. She can keep shoveling it in, the calories only serving to maintain her form without causing noticeable gain. The Apocalypse has made this less of an issue as of late. Another interesting thing of note - since the Outbreak, Angel has shown signs of budding pyromania. It remains to be seen whether it is an interest or an obsession, but so far she has not been foolish about it. The girl just likes fire.
The past year especially has made her more comfortable operating as part of a small but close group out of a matter of necessity. They've been doing fairly well, all things considered. It's a good thing that she likes these people. Mostly.
Habits: Thinking out loud, absently playing with sharp things Hobbies: Training, building fires Fears:
Current Clothing - 1 pair underwear, 1 sports bra, 1 black t-shirt, 1 gray pair of skinny jeans, 1 pair of hot pink tennis shoes, 1 pair of black socks, 1 bandana used as a belt

History
Your First Walker Encounter:
A late evening at work turned into an early morning. Angel remembered waking up on a couch in her office just before the sun illuminated the Boston skyline. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and decided that then was as good as time as any for breakfast.
There was a bakery she liked a handful of blocks away from the office, so she took a quick jog up the mostly deserted street, the smell of fresh bread and pastry calling her onward. Before she made it to her breakfast spot, Angel noticed a trio of people stumbling up an intersecting avenue, strangely wearing stained hospital gowns and seemingly unaware of their surroundings, very likely coming from the nearby Medical Center.
She saw them try to attack a stray dog, and when a morning shift garbage collector stopped to see if they needed help, they clawed and bit him savagely. The man escaped the attack and got back on his vehicle. The last she saw of them, the Sanitation workers were driving in the direction of the hospital, and the three attackers were shambling after the garbage truck.
In hindsight, that was her first Walker encounter. The experience wasn't a total loss, though: Angel was able to pick up a box of creme doughnuts and a loaf of cranberry almond bread.
History Before Outbreak:
Born in San Francisco to a single mother, Thalia Carmichael had no knowledge of her biological father until the age of ten. Her mother, a Miss Angelica Carmichael (maternal family name), left the father the day she discovered that she was pregnant. The history of the Gonzalez family was soaked in blood, and she had been planning to make a discreet exit from them anyway. Angelica wanted a safe, normal life for her daughter. As soon as little Thalia was old enough to travel, they moved to the elder Miss Carmichael’s home city of Boston, MA.
Unbeknownst to all, Benicio Gonzalez (biological father, independent contractor, and firearms enthusiast) had taken a semi-retired lifestyle and joined the Priesthood. In his younger years, Benicio entered and graduated from a prominent Seminary school; circumstances led to his more combative lifestyle before taking his Vows. Addressed as Father Benicio Gonzalez, he still performed the occasional service related to his former life.
A car accident in Boston deprived Thalia of her mother. In her will, she revealed the identity of her biological father, Benicio Gonzalez, briefly explained their history and why she was kept from them. When he was notified of this, there was an understandable element of surprise involved. DNA tests confirmed their relation, and Thalia was released into his care. It was a little unusual, a priest with a daughter, but they got the permission of the Church and the State found no legal reason to keep them separated. Benicio took to calling her Angel, a pet name he used for her mother.
From the age of ten, Thalia (Angel) was raised as a Gonzalez, with all of the good and bad that came with the privilege. She idolized her older Prima, Alicia, wanting to be like her in many ways. This is probably why she took to the family business and college with as much gusto as she did. Her area of expertise differed, but there was a significant amount of overlap in their skill sets. College and the beginning of a legitimate career working for her Tío & Prima as a Security Specialist (with opportunities for trouble every now and again) was her life plan, and it wasn’t bad. Over years of training with her family, she was even able to distill and quantify the unarmed fighting technique utilized by the elder Gonzalez brothers and their predecessors, breaking it down into a teachable discipline. Angel entered several local and regional boxing matches of questionable legality as they came up, honing her techniques until the competitors refused to step into a ring with her anymore unless the “Marquess of Queensberry Rules” were applied.
History Since Outbreak:
Miss Carmichael was assigned to her old stomping grounds in Boston as the site’s Electronics Engineer and Close Combat Trainer when the Outbreak began. As the situation became royally screwed with zero clear endgame in sight, Angel decided to book it back for the central office in Chattanooga, TN, hopefully to meet up with her family and figure out what to do from there. The problem then became sneaking out of a major metropolitan area that the military could not hold onto with full resources and manpower. In the beginning, it took much longer than expected. Building by building, block by block, ever southward until she escaped the city proper.
When she finally reached Chattanooga, there was evidence of continued Post-Outbreak survival of some of her uncle’s people at the Home Office, though she could not tell how long before they had vacated. She did note that some of their signature working gear (personal machetes, leather vest, knives, motorcycles, etc.) were missing, but the place was not ransacked. Her satellite phone had died some time before, or she would have tried one of he few communication systems left to the world. Keeping hope alive, Thalia re-equipped with what she could find, and set out for Metro Atlanta. For various reasons, it seemed the most logical place they might try next, if they chose to brave the hordes diffusing from the higher population area. They might make a push to Texas or Mexico from there, meeting back up with whatever family might survive. It was worth a shot.
Some hard times later, a starving and desperate young lady was picked up by a group of medieval and Viking reenactors on horseback, wearing old-world armor. It was a little freaky at first for the urban and pragmatic Angel, but she stayed with them for some time in their little Castle Town in Fairburn, recovering and growing stronger. She learned many useful survival skills from the Northumbrian community, teaching some of her own in trade and helping them out with runs and defense. It was really a fine time for Angel; she dedicated herself to learning as much as she could as completely as possible, training almost constantly. It was like a bad Kung-Fu movie from the 1970's, where the protagonist walls up in a Shaolin Monastery for great lengths of time and emerges a better, stronger, and wiser person. But with Vikings. And Jousters. And grizzled, medieval(ish) survivalists. She made an interesting Half-Latina Shieldmaiden.
Then disease hit Fairburn hard. Angel made the decision to leave when it got really bad, as many did. She spent some time traveling by herself, mostly just surviving on her own and plotting her next move. The Gonzalez clan was large and reaching, but the center of their existence was in Monterrey, Mexico. She would try there next. It would be a hell of a journey.
More recently, the errant Miss Carmichael stumbled across the mother lode: an mostly intact electronics supply store. Inside, she found the tools and parts necessary to repair her satellite phone. Soon after, she was able get a solid charge into a couple of compatible batteries by rigging a charger and hotwiring a car as a power source. It was unsuitable for transportation, but it made a passable makeshift generator. With food starting to run low (but a full battery charge), Thalia is attempting to reach out to anyone in her contacts list that might still have a working company phone. It is a long shot, to be certain. But worth it, and a more productive use of battery power than rocking a few levels of Tetris 2006.
Angel had been holing up in a tank for the last part of the winter. Yes, a TANK. When you see a massive piece of custom motorized armor coming up the road at you in the middle of a coverless clearing on level ground, you can either give the gunner a moving target or you can hold fast and find out what the hell is going on. As it was alone and headed in her direction, she took a risk and stuck out her thumb.
When the weather had begun to break, the time had come to set back out into the world. She had braced herself for the extremely high probability that her immediate family is dead, but felt obligated to find out. A chance meeting with a recent expatriate of Newnan, James Grady, and his small group answered the question as to the status of her friends and family; indeed dead after all her time searching. Another chance encounter with the Zed version of Astrid gave the Valkyrie final peace, and netted Thalia a familiar shield that was crafted by her good friend Bridgette (also dead).
The opportunity to destroy the people most responsible for the deaths of her people was made available, and so Thalia took part in a two-pronged attack that ultimately brought their enemies down. She lost her best friend in the attack, made other friends, and pledged her assistance to Thana until she got to Mexico Beach, Florida and reunited with her guy friend Ash, with whom she also has business. Namely, the details on Alicia, Caesar, Astrid, and Bridgette's passing. It has been a year now, but they're still kicking.

Character Quote:
“Yeah. It’s going to be real hard to do that without teeth.”
"We've all lost stuff. All you can do is keep moving forward."
Theme Song:
How Many Walkers Have You Killed:
Really? That's a question? Ok, I mostly ran from them. Running's not always an option, so I have put down plenty. Never stopped to count. Plenty.
How Many People Have You Killed:
I don't like this question. People stop being people when they think raping and eating folks is a good idea. The ones that just want to kill you or rob you aren't much better. You're just as dead.
I'm really not sure. Twelve, maybe? Hard to say. Baker's dozen? That was before Eden though... I don't know what happened back there. We killed so many of them, and it felt righteous.
Why:
Because I'm not willing to go gentle. How about that? How about - because if you leave some assholes alive it endangers a whole lot of others?
Knew Astrid Hansen and Bridgette Vinters due to previous involvement with the Fairburn group. Might know others wandering in the region because of this.
Since Fairburn, Angel's armed combat style has changed up a bit. She now fights more defensively, often utilizing a shield in conjunction with a blade against armed opppnents. Against the Dead, she is likely to utilize her spear first, keeping distance.
A popular survivalist tactic she picked up involves using her primitive spear in her off-hand defensively, keeping attacking creatures at a distance while wielding a shorter blade in her dominant hand. The technique was invented to keep larger predators at bay, but works effectively against single to small groups of the Dead with minor modification.
Unarmed, she's all Gonzalez. No need to change anything there, and is in fact a more valid technique now than before. She used to mix it up with a certain angry viking blacksmith with a similar pugilistic background. For fun.
Refers to zombies as "Zeds". Whether this refers to a French sounding "Ze Dead", the British Isles pronounciation of the last letter of the English alphabet, or just something that they started calling them in Boston toward the beginning, it's Zed.

Taking point and killing Adamm together was a hell of a bonding experience. Thana and Thalia seem to have an understanding, and have become good friends over the difficult months. It is not without tension from time to time as Thalia has a predisposition toward independent action, and has also made her intent to eventually part ways and see to her own quest well known. Thana has left an impression on her, however, and she can trust that Thalia will have her back. Now that Thana is missing, presumed dead, Thalia still holds out the smallest shred of hope. She wants her friend back. 💛/♨️ Alexander Polawski ♨️/💛 "Mugs? He's an okay guy. We need to get him set up someplace."
Thalia is rather annoyed at the obvious difficulties that losing a leg brings the group. But she isn't leaving the old bastard behind. It wasn't anybody's fault, and they'd been through a lot together. Alex part of the group, and the acquired knowledge of an old soldier is still worthwhile. He just needs to find his niche. The constant "O wars" aren't really as big a deal as Thalia lets on. She's going to keep it going, though. But even a year later, she just can't fully shake that initial impression. Then of course, there are the mixed emotions about the whole "arm removal" thing. Yeah. Still too soon Thalia Carmichael "I am Familia Gonzalez. And I'm more than that now."
For most of her life, Thalia has been in the shadow of Caesar and Alicia. Post Outbreak saw her learning how to survive under the tutelage of the Valkyries in Fairburn and becoming one of their Shieldmaidens. Psychology
Captivating * Vindictive * Logical * Selfish
Sexuality: Heterosexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Faith isn't one to be taken lightly. Appearances can be deceiving and inside the girly-girl cheerleader's head lays the mind of a logical thinker. It takes more than looks to get to the top of the high school hierarchy. It takes guts, willpower, and a sense of entitlement. Faith keeps her friends close and her enemies even closer. Faith can be very vindictive when she's felt she's been wronged and has sent many a person home crying.
Faith can be charming and captivating without much effort, often getting others to do things for her. She isn't lazy, she's just used to it. However, Faith is selfish and looks out for herself first above all others. She wants it all and she wants it yesterday. Habits:
Your First Walker Encounter: It was supposed to be her moment. Prom Night. The coveted crown of Prom Queen well within her grasp. She looked flawless, as per usual. The theme was Royal Nights. Months spent perfecting every detail, parading around, getting votes (by any means necessary). And then the fricken' undead swarmed the dance and ruined it all. They started overtaking the room. People scattering, screams, blood, and worst of all...she wasn't even crowned yet! She wouldn't stand for that.
History Before Outbreak: The Masters family was rich. There's no denying that. So it was obvious they would spoil their youngest daughter rotten. Faith wanted for very little, usually getting whatever her little heart desired. This turned her into a monster to deal with. Especially at school where she would back talk teachers, force the other kids into doing what she wanted, and would just be a little terror. Her family did very little about this also, usually buying her something to get her to settle down.
Things got more or less better as the years went on. Despite her attitude, Faith was actually intelligent. She was well above her reading level and was passing all her classes. She just didn't care about it. To her, it was more important to be at the top. So that's where she strived. She became the most popular girl in school. The girl guys wanted and girls wanted to be. She relished in this. She became head cheerleader in her Sophmore year of high school. Dated the quarterback. Got homecoming queen every year and finally...FINALLY...prom was aroudn the corner. She charmed the pants off of everyone she could. When she couldn't charm, she threatened. Faith was not above blackmail and she had a lot of storage to hold it in.
Prom finally came and she was dressed to the 10s. The night was going smoothly. Her boyfriend got a football scholarship, which was ok, but she was planning to end things after tonight. She got accepted into Yale (partly due to her family's money) and that was where she would shine the best. She had big dreams.
That is until the zombies attacked. They ruined her night. They ruined her chance to become queen and show everyone how little they were and how amazing she was. She grabbed the nearest thing, a sword, and started clawing her way through them.
The world was in shambles now. All that was left to do was survive.
History Since Outbreak: Something in Faith's brain snapped that night. In a state of perpetual cheerleader perkiness mixed with badass zombie hunter, Faith's family was killed during the outbreak. Rather than mourn their loss, Faith shrugged it off. They would have held her back anyway.
Instead, she managed on her own. You can't be alone all the time though and that was where she met Samuel. Sam seemed a decent sort. He was a few years older than her, but he knew what he was doing. They traveled together for a good amount of time. Faith could begin to feel like she could trust him. And then he had to go and break that. According to Sam, it was about time she paid him back for his help. But he didn't want money. So as the two scavenged the gas station, he forced her into the bathroom and attempted to collect.
Faith walked out leaving Sam to bleed to death on the bathroom floor.
Faith had to learn the hard way that it was better to look out for yourself. So that's what she opted for. She ran into other people along her journey, settling into a community. But she paid them little mind. She never helped out. If she hunted, it was for her own food. She took care of herself only. If she wanted something, she could bat her eyelashes and get it done for her. Soon, the community wanted nothing more to do with her and booted her out.
So she walked until she got to Georgia.

Theme Song: How Many Walkers Have You Killed: 24 How Many People Have You Killed: 1 Why: Faith had to learn the hard way that not everyone will be trusting and listen to her. She met a man on her travels who decided he wanted more from her than her skill with a sword. Forcing her into a gas station restroom and planning for something more, he picked the wrong girl to mess with. Though she hadn't attacked another living person before then, it was do or die. And in this case, poor what's-his-face found out the hard way that no means no when she cut open his neck. Anything Else:Link

Caring * Impulsive * Charismatic * Egotistical
Sexuality: Bisexual Relationship Status: Single Personality: Sam is the kind of person that could make anyone feel at home with a smile that draws you in and a charming personality that gets you hooked from the first sentence. She's an extrovert, through and through, and it shows how easily she welcomes anyone with open arms and an even bigger heart. Everyone's family and nothing is more important to her than those around her. Sometimes though she'll retreat to have some peace and quiet, but she'll be back before you notice with a fury of good-natured jokes.
Sam is not easily angered or agitated, she is usually cool and calm in most situations. She's mastered how to defuse most tense situations with a joke or a swift change of subject that almost goes by unnoticed. In order to get on Sam's bad side, someone would really have to work at it, but she does have a short fuse when it comes to negativity and people who are quick to give up. If there is something she cannot stand its laziness, there is no excuse not to do anything when you can at least try.
This extroverted exterior seems perfect and shiny, but on the inside, Sam is a bit of a mess. She thinks too much, way too much, about pretty much everything. She sees improvement everywhere and would like to fix everyone, sometimes calling those mistakes out-loud has gotten her caught into a few heated arguments with close friends and members of her family. But perhaps her biggest flaw is believing everything can be fixed and that everyone can change.
Habits: When Sam finds herself with nothing to do she'll clean or find something to fix or tamper with. She also always analyses why people do or say certain things to get a better idea of how they think. Hobbies: Training (Crossfit, weightlifting) and cooking are two of Sam's favorite ways to unwind. History
Your First Walker Encounter: The first time Sam encountered a walker was on her birthday. She was working that day and lucky for her the fire station's birthday ritual was to make the person being celebrated run 3 laps around the building. On her first lap, she spotted a homeless man by the dumpster, on her second she swore he was eating a rat, on her third her fears were confirmed when he turned his bloody screech towards her. She stood frozen for what seemed like a long time but in reality it was just a few seconds. She was able to dodge him and run back into the station, where cheers erupted. Her colleagues heartily sang happy birthday to her while she attempted to catch her breath and tell them what she had seen behind the station. The party was abruptly interrupted by the crazed man and all hell broke loose. Sam ran for the nearest fire axe and closed her eyes as she plunged it deep into the man's skull.
History Before Outbreak: In school, Sam excelled in math and science so her parents pushed the idea that she should become a doctor. She didn't hate the idea, but she didn't love it either, yet her parents kept fueling the fire. They were happy, so she was happy. Sam was very smart, but she also naturally athletic and drawn to running track because she was good at it, not because she enjoyed it, but found her passion for Olympic lifting soon after. She competed all throughout high school and even college, but when her coach made it clear that without taking anabolic steroids she wouldn't go further into this sport she quit immediately. Feeling empty at the loss, Sam entered a Crossfit gym and fell in love with lifting all over again.
Sam's four years of hard work as a medical student paid off as she received a full scholarship and promise of a residency at a local hospital. Everything was going great, once again she dominated, but the unexpected loss of her mother and her grandmother back to back was like a sucker punch to the gut. She fell into a deep depression and even dropped out of her residency when there were a few months left until completion. She realized that pursuing a job where losing people hourly was commonplace wasn't for her.
Her father, a military man, would have loved for her to follow in his footsteps. Yet, year-long tours overseas was too much of a commitment for Sam at the time. She decided to compromise and passed both the written and physical exam for the police academy admittance, but in the end, she still felt that her talents would be wasted in driving around in a vehicle all day. Sam began feeling more hopeless than ever, without a prosperous future ahead of her, yet there wasn't anything she could see herself doing for the rest of her life. Her life turned around when her good friends shoved a firefighter recruitment paper into her hands. It was the perfect job, part-time too so she could continue coaching at her Crossfit gym on the side.
She completed her fire science degree in a year and a half and also received her EMT certification after 300 of courses and practice. It was the perfect job, at least, until the outbreak forced her out of the normalcy of her life she had established and driven her out of the city she had grown in.
History Since Outbreak: Sam remained at the station with the rest of her colleagues until they exhausted their food and water supplies and were thus forced to leave the safe brick walls and venture out into this brand new world. Sam was one of the first to volunteer to scavenge for food and report back with news on how the rest of the city was doing.
At first, Sam was completely distraught to see the city in shambles; fires everywhere, abandoned cars littered the streets and made moving around this concrete jungle much harder with 50 pounds on your back and a horde of crazed people hot on your tail. Though Sam grew quickly accustomed to it, she was used to the exertion, welcomed it even. She scavenged for the station for a few months, but the thoughts of her father's whereabouts in all this chaos was eating at her. She needed to know if he was safe, so one day she dropped off her biggest payload of scavenged goods, grabbed her axe and left in search of her father.
Sam found him after a few weeks of traveling alone, he had been leading another group of survivors out of the city. She wasn't surprised to see him offer protection to a group of people in times like this, Sam had always loved his bravery and hoped she was as half as brave as he was. Even though they worked hard to set rules for the group, it got smaller and smaller. They decided to go against her father's advice and leave to scavenge and explore alone. None of them ever made it back and Sam and her father both knew they would never be back.
She and her father survived alone for almost 2 years, he taught her how to properly build shelters as they often camped in lower populated areas free of those...walkers. One night, one of her father's 'recon' mission, as he liked to call them, didn't go according to plan and they were separated. Hordes of walkers between them and no way to go around. They decided to part ways for now, but they both promised to find each other again. At least that's what Sam think he was saying with hand signals. She's now all alone, with her own demons, and she soon noticed that her demonds were the loudest.

Height: 6ft 2" Weight: 180 lbs Build: Muscular Eyes: Blue Hair: Blonde Skin Tone: Neutral Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Matt has many tattoos from the neck down. He's also got a long gash of a scar on his lower left forearm and one on his abdomen from a stab wound.
Psychology
Friendly * Reckless * Loyal * Hot headed
Sexuality: Straight Relationship Status: Single Personality: Matt has a general rule of "Don't be a dick." He has no reason to NOT help people, so why shouldn't he, right? Matthew is a friendly guy who is fiercely loyal. This loyalty can lead to him to make some pretty brash decisions, usually acting before he thinks. However, it's always to protect or even avenge his allies. He likes to be involved and make jokes among friends. Whatever would help out, he's always the first to offer his hand in anything he's able to, especially if he knows he is good at it. Matt isn't one to shy away from a fight either.
If any of his friends get hurt or are threatened, Matt's meaner side begins to show. If he comes across someone who truly deserves no mercy, then he has no problem with giving none. He's got no problem with burying his axe in a walker's head, but only when he's sure someone is "too far gone" is when he's comfortable with killing a human. That or self-defence. In the last four years, if Matt has learnt one thing, it's that it will always come down to "you or them". Habits: Chopping wood just to blow off steam, axe sharpening Hobbies: As well as his job working with wood, Matt enjoys whittling wood into shapes and sculptures.

History
Your First Walker Encounter: On the first day of the end, Matthew had just walked into his cabin in the woods after a long day of chopping timber. However, as he was coming up to his home, he noticed he left the door open, and a trail of crushed leaves that came from a new direction. One that Matthew had never walked before. Tightening his grip on his axe, he stepped in.
The sun was beginning to set in the forest, and amber rays of sunlight beamed through the windows as illumination. He could make out the hunched over silhouette of a stranger. "Hey man, you lost?" He called out, taking a step forward. The stranger growled and slowly began to turn around. Matt could make out more features.
There was... blood all around it's mouth, dripping down his chin. It's skin was losing it's tone but this guy couldn't have been any older than 30. The stranger's eyes were dull and lifeless. Immediately, Matt rushed towards him. "Dude, you need the hospital!" He exclaimed. However, the walker stumbled forward and grappled with Matt, sending them both on the floor. Gnashing teeth began to clamp together a few inches away from Matt's face. Matthew grunted and managed to slowly push the man off.
He scrambled to his feet, keeping his axe at the ready. "C'mon man, I don't want to hurt you!" The lumberjack warned. However, it fell on deaf ears, and the walker slowly got up and limped towards Matt. With a roar, Matt swung his axe as hard as he could. It buried itself deep into the neck of the walker. This man should be dead, but he was still standing, and still trying to grab at Matt.
What the fuck.....
With a heave, Matt pulled the Walker towards him and pushed it off of the axe with a kick. The walker stumbled backwards onto the floor, and with another yell, the lumberjack swung his axe overhead and the axehead split apart the walker's head. The panting, blood-covered Lumberjack stepped onto the corpse and used it for leverage to lift the axe out. He went to pick up the phone, turning up the volume on his radio on the way, which was when he heard the emergency broadcast.
History Before Outbreak: Matthew grew up in Florida, having a pretty normal and comfortable upbringing. His whole childhood was anything but unordinary. His father was a successful banker and his mother was an accomplished surgeon. His life was put on the rails and he was in for the ride that was laid out before him.
When Matt got into his early adulthood, he begun to realise that he never really made any decisions for himself. He grew up in the city, always doing what people told him was "best for him". He confronted his parents, who were understanding of his feelings. He wanted to strike out on his own, and do something completely unexpected. What was the best cliche for a city boy? Go live in the woods of course.
It was then he begun to make his new life in the woods. He learnt how to hunt with his rifle that was gifted by his father, he built his own log cabin, and that's how he begun his career as a Lumberjack. He searched up everything he knew on the internet, and then began to practice and hone his craft.
History Since Outbreak: Matthew grabbed everything he could after killing his first zombie, and then began to walk back to the city. He had to check on his parents. There was no way he could up and leave without at least checking on them.
The city was a fiery mess of god knows what. He had to sneak around, and everything and everyone he grew up with was turned. A school-bus had driven into the wall of where Matt went. One of his childhood friends was impaled on a twisted bit of rebar. His parents stumbling down the street, flesh decayed and even his mother missing a limb. He put them out of their misery and then began to scavenge. It wasn't until he found a secluded spot back in the forest that it hit him, and he broke down over how much he lost.
But weeping wasn't going to get him anywhere. He wasn't about to let this world get the better of him just because he was moping around. His conquest of survival began, and he ventured forth into the dangerous unknown. In the first two years, Matthew ran into a group of survivors, and they made a camp together. It was nice, Matthew felt happy again, and not alone. They had a farm, and he even met a special someone. A southern belle named Maxine. However, things changed, and Matthew was about to lose everything again.
A new group had showed up. They had guns. Big ones. They were all wearing bandanas on their faces. They took everything they had. The food, guns, everything except melee weapons and water for two days. And like that, the bandits vanished but not without making an example. They shot the group's leader and Maxine. "One man, one woman." The bandits' head honcho declared. They buried the two after the robbers had left. Matt couldn't take this lying down. He was the only one who went after them. Everyone else had lost all hope.
Matthew had managed to find their own camp in an abandoned warehouse. Matthew managed to sneak in and find his rifle, and pick up the pistol he still uses today. He got out and then found a perch in the trees, about a 100 yards away. He kept his rifle trained on the door and waited for that son of a bitch to come out. Soon enough, that mask wearing prick came back. When they killed Maxine, it was meant to be a deterrent, but it was a spark. A spark that Matt never knew he had. The drive to kill a man without a second thought. He squeezed the trigger as the shot rang out, and he could see the body drop.
Not wanting to hang around, Matt left, slinging his rifle onto his back and hightailing it out before they could find out where the shot came from. That kill had stuck with him ever since. He killed a man, not just a walker. Matthew didn't even have a brief moment of respite from the thought. It was the only human he's killed to this day, but he knows that he would do it again if he had to. Matt spent the rest of the next two years being a nomad. He lived off of the land and survived in the wilderness on his own, briefly running into new people, but only for a moment to help rather than staying. He's now made his way to Georgia, where he hopes he could have something like he did before again.

Name: Emanuel Newman Aliases: Most people call him Manny Age: 72 years old Birthday: March 22 Ethnicity: Partial Mexican and Partial Caucasian Birth Place: Daytona, Florida Location: Manny was at Tampa Bay Florida Gender: Male Major/Minor: (DDS) Doctor of Dental Surgery, (BDent) Bachelor of Dentistry, (DMSc) Doctor of Medical Science, several liberal arts degrees with little relevance to the workforce Occupation: Manny worked primarily as an Oral surgeon on the verge of retirement. Languages: English, And extremely minimal Spanish.
Appearance
Height: 6'1" Weight: 154 lbs (Pre end of the world 216) Build: Manny has a build that looked like it was fairly strong, but has been slowly depleted. Eyes: Brown Hair: Very dark brown, though people may claim black. This is also ignoring the fact that his hair is graying rather drastically. Especially from the stress of everyone dying and all. Skin Tone: Manny looks as if he is Caucasian but may have a slight tan at any time, when overall he just has slightly darker skin then Caucasian. Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Manny has a few slash marks on his hands and arms from knife fights as a teen, but many of the scars he has now are from post Apocalyptic events.
Sexuality: Homosexual Relationship Status: Twice Widowed Personality: Manny is one of those people who will never look for a fight, part of the reason is because he knows he tends to be aggressive as hell when he is fighting, and it normally ends badly for himself and whoever he was fighting. He will when he can look for a peaceful way to solve his problems, but he does recognize that can't always happen, though if someone in the situation keeps pushing a situation he may start swinging punches. Despite his temper at times, he has acknowledge it, making it easier to take a step back and talk things out.
Despite the world ending around him Manny has been able to keep a positive attitude about his situation. he is still able to help people in ways that not many people can anymore, he can move into a house now based on how secure the front door is rather then if he can afford it, and he doesn't have to pay income tax anymore! What he is also able to do is help cheer up people he has met along the way in hopes that their overall moral and will to keep going in the world stays strong and that they will eventually prosper. Another plus he has obtained is that he is able to get a chapter of reading in daily most days.
Manny in recent history shows slight signs of paranoia, not from walkers, but from bandits, and other people who may capture him. Overall he still has his positive attitude, but he seems to always be more aware and cautious whenever approaching a situation then he was before the end of the world.
Habits: -Manny has a tendency to get really focused on his work, and completely cut himself off from the outside world. He has tried to work on this as the world outside of his thoughts has a high chance of killing him, but it's still something he works on.
-Manny whenever he enters a new area attempts to learn as much as he can about it, things like what is intact, how many people can he expect, how many infected, he hates being in an unknown situation. So he can be noted looking at almost anything and everything whenever somewhere new.
-Manny will out of habit, find spots that are in the wide open, he can handle indoors, but he cant do closets for longer then a few seconds, or narrow hallways. Whenever he finds a spot to sit he will go find a chair or seat that is set up in the middle of a room, rather then an edge.
Hobbies: Manny loves to learn, whenever he gets the chance he will grab an educational book of most kinds and read it cover to cover at least once. If it's something he feels he should really know more on he may read it a second time so that he knows what information to look out for in the future.
Fears:
Manny fears that his anger will get the best of him someday, and that he may hurt someone worse then a few bruises.
He fears a situation where someone is hurt, and he is unable to do more then comfort them verbally as his medical skills outside of dentistry are limited to general med, a basic understanding of anatomy, some books, and the few situations his surgical skills may be useful.
Manny has a rather strong fear of getting too connected with someone again, after having lost two people who he considered as close as two people could be.
After his time in Eden, the idea of being a captive scares Manny, unable to escape situations he may be stuck in, and unable to do anything about it. Just the idea of it, makes him think what he may do if in that situation again.
Likes:
Manny Enjoys helping people, anything from reaching things on high up shelves to pulling an infected tooth out that could cause possible death.
Books, he fucking loves books. Mostly educational but fiction has it's place.
Guns. Despite being a pacifist for the most part, he loves blasting clay pidgins too tiny pieces with shotguns. Not much more relaxing then that.
Manny Enjoys keeping in physical shape, he jogs when he can, runs when he is feeling great, and every now and again lift lighter weights.
Manny is a fan of the idea that everyone can live peacefully in some way shape or form. He prefers a quiet life style with little excitement, and what excitement there is he prefers it to be a bit more controlled then not.
Animals in general. He had a cat before the world went to hell, and as a kid he would raise chickens on a family farm. He still has a pretty strong love for animals but he hasn't really been able to care for one since things went to hell.
Dislikes:
Tyrants, Manny is not a fan of people who try to keep and enforce power using fear and intimidation. It's one of the things that will set him off faster then he can register he should calm down.
He has a huge dislike for people who instigate situations, partially because he knows he is weak to people doing this, but also because he hates it when people go looking for a fight.
He is not a fan of arrogance, though it is not a thing that will get him pissed off, he finds arrogant people to be rash and stupid.
Manny has a huge grudge against fire based weapons. Flame throwers, incendiary devices, home made explosives, those kind of things. He was all for a global ban of weapons that caused unnecessary harm or pain to those in combat and civilians. With the world ending though, he has noticed more of these weapons seeing use again.
Manny has a minor thing against people who do not do simple things to take care of themselves physically. Though he does understand that the world has ended, basic physical maintenance is still a reasonable goal.
The dark. Manny isn't a fan of the dark because with already limited eye sight, not being able to see is annoying to him. It makes it hard to read, hard to work, and makes him dependent on sounds to figure out what is going on.
Torture, Manny's time in Eden has proved something to him. Torture, no matter the reason can and should be avoided. There is always a better way in Manny's eyes.

Gunshots rang out on the streets, it seemed for every two seconds a shot went off, or a burst of them. It was frustrating for Manny, thinking about what was happening between each shot. He knew of the events going on north from here, but he wasn't ready for them himself. He saw the news, how people would be shot repetitively and drop dead, only to crawl their way back up to be shot again. It scared Manny thinking about what was going on outside. Knowing that everyone outside was scared enough to shoot him on sight if they were had any suspicion of him being an infected. He looked outside the front window to his dentistry, he could see cars passing by well beyond the speed limited of the community, even the highways for that matter. There were bodies in the streets and yards he could see. What he was seeing was worst case scenario."Fuck this, I am getting too old for this shit." Himself and what staff had showed up today were busy collecting the remaining medical supplies and tools, getting ready to evacuate to one of the emergency sites in case they were needed for more drastic reasons.
Jimmy Hendricks, a boy by Manny's standards, and who also worked as one of nurses shot him a look. "We've got time, buildin's old but strong. With that, none of them know we are in here." Manny wasn't a fan of Jimmy's rather heavy southern accent, mostly because of the words that he left out or said incorrectly, but he overlooked it because Jimmy could keep calm in any situation it seemed, and had on multiple occasions stopped Manny from getting into fights that Manny would have claimed he would have won otherwise. "Get Susan, I need you two to keep a look out, I need to get to my car." Jimmy looked at him as if he was stupid. "You sure that's wise? Most the supplies are already in the truck, and once that is loaded up we can just pack in and leave. What's so important that we need it?" Our last resort in case we get trapped.
Out of his staff of twelve people, only two showed up today, he didn't blame them, most had families, or were scared to go outside. Jimmy was fairly care free and lived on his own, Susan as an intern who felt safer here then at her own dorm. She was also the only one who had a real ability for thinking instead of acting on impulse, something that both Manny and Jimmy struggled with. "Stay inside, I got a gun in the car that with how bad things are getting we may need it. I need you two to keep an eye out, let me know if there is something I am not seeing, and stay quiet, be ready in case we need to run. Have the bag ready, and keep an ear out in case someone breaks in where we can't see them." Jimmy asked why he didn't bring it before, Manny shrugged, but in all honesty, he was just hoping things wouldn't get that bad.
He made his way outside to his car, it wasn't far, about seven slots from the entrance of the building, but it seemed like a mile. Every step he took he felt as if he would get separated and trapped. But if things were really getting this bad, he would need to do this before things got bad. He felt like an idiot for not grabbing it before. Once at the car he pulled out his keys and was about to do the remote unlock, then stopped worrying about the noise, so he just unlocked it from the driver side, and unlocked the backdoor. Once in the back seat he was able to pull off a blanket, revealing an over under barrel double barrel shotgun. Despite the 20 gauge not having the same power as a 12 gauge, it would drop it's target in a single shot if in range. "MANNY!" He heard the yell, but his reflexes told him not to look at it, it told him to look around, and off to his side, just around the corner of the building by the hood of his car, a woman with a missing arm, and half her face gone on the same side, who looked as pissed as a woman who was told her coupon got denied at Target.
With a single action he pulled the shotgun and fired, cursing responsible gun ownership as it was still empty. He reached into the car and grabbed a locked suitcase, the one he kept the shells in, and tried to get up. The car door was closing on him as the woman tried to get at him, her hand sliding off his back every now and again trying to grab him. It wasn't until something had hit her on the side of the head that she got distracted from him. Jimmy stood with a chair leg in his hand, looking as if he was ready to fight the world, Manny made another grab for the shells, unlocking the case as Jimmy and Susan attempted to hold off the woman. Once the case was open Manny heard a scream of pain, he was too focused on getting the gun loaded now though. Grabbing two shells and loading them into the gun he turned and saw Jimmy and the woman practically intertwined as she took a bite out of his neck. Manny was furious, these two are his responsibility to protect, and he'll be damned if anyone tries to hurt them. He ran as fast as his aging body could, and bashed the shotgun stock on the back of the woman's head as hard as he could as if it was a spear, knocking her off balance, but more importantly off Jimmy.
Once she was off, her attention was on Manny, who now had the gun leveled and aimed at almost point blank range, and fired. Before both barrels had fired Manny was able to take quick note of her teeth, despite a large portion of her face being gone, they were in surprisingly good condition, and other then the blood surprisingly clean. Manny saw what each shot had done, the first taking off the top of her head and jerking it back with the harsh whiplash exposing her neck, and scattering the brains across the small parking lot, the second shot took her lower jaw and neck and liquidized it at the close range almost separating it, but not quite. Manny was speechless, he had not only killed someone, but had done it so brutally that bones and brains would be scattered across the parking on and his mind for years to come. he was shaking as Susan took the gun slowly from him. "Manny, we need to help Jimmy, and we need to get out of he-" Jimmy cut her off. "No time, that shot will bring all sorts of unwanted attention. Get me some bandages and I will put 'em on in the truck." Manny didn't speak, he just nodded, helping Jimmy into the truck before more came. He was about to get in himself when Jimmy pointed at the open suitcase, the one with the shells. "We'll need those." Jimmy said, Manny knew he was right, but did they need them all? They were going under military protection, and there were almost 200 shells in that case, the though of using them all made Manny feel sick, but he closed it and brought it anyways, sitting in the back seat of Jim's truck, as Susan threw in the last bag and drove. They would reach a safe zone before nightfall.
History Before Outbreak:
Manny at a young age was raised on a small chicken farm, but he rarely spent time on it, most of his time was out doing things like getting into fights, reading comics, and seeing what's the biggest thing he could light a fire to without getting in too much trouble. Despite his many dealings with the law because of actions in his teenage years, he wasn't scared of them. He was scared of his father's reaction when the local sheriff told his father, and most the law enforcement Manny dealt with knew that. It never stopped him though, not until Manny and some friends got into a fight with another group of kids, and one of them pulled a gun, and shot one of Manny's closer friends. Once seeing that, he went to his father begging of forgiveness, scared that he may go to a point as far to kill another human being.
Years later he would go into medical school to become a spinal surgeon, but between getting bored of it, and thinking it doesn't help as many people as other fields might, he went into dentistry part way through. He knew it didn't help people the same way, but he felt he could still impact more people, and would be able to help them in ways that would be harder to do if they were passed out on the best drugs money could buy. After getting the degrees needed to graduate he still went to school taking several liberal arts degrees just for the sake of learning. Very few actually applied to his field though, and they rarely would have been able to be note worthy on their own.
At the age of 49 Manny started to notice some of his friends were getting tired, weak, and sick. He refused to let that happen to him sooner then it had to, so he made it a goal in life to keep as physically active as possible, keeping his heart strong, his legs working, and his cardio as strong as he could. Even though it wasn't perfect, he was still able to walk around and run from time to time in his later years.
In his mid 50s Manny opened up his own dentistry building, with himself, and three people in his staff to keep things going. Over the years he would hire more people as needed, move into eventually a bigger building, and spend his spare time keeping his physical shape in check, while also sparing what time he could helping community programs. He would help build parks, donate what he could to libraries, and do anything else he could so that kids would not end up going down as violent a path as he had gone down.
History Since Outbreak:
Manny arrived to an emergency site that was supposed to be protected by local national guard forces, but many didn't show up for duty. Manny learned later that many went home to protect their families, leaving those who did show up under manned and stretched thin. Most of the defenses were dependent on the surprisingly equipped police force of the area. Manny knew about the riot armors, the tactical shotguns, but he figured the only M16s they had were for the SWAT teams, but he was seeing more then a few dozen. The stadium used as the emergency center until proper evacuations could begin would be overrun in less then ten days. Manny would be forced to help fight his way out with a group of survivors to get out, none of his staff members made it out with him.
After a few months of traveling he came across several people who would join up with his group, until they settled into an old Spanish fort, despite it not having a lot of supplies, it was impossible for the infected to force their way inside, it even had some land on the inside to help growing crops. When supplies ran out though, people got anxious, desperate. After a year, the scavenging runs were not bringing in enough food, and there was too many people for the few crops to feed, eventually conflict broke out and those who did not flee were killed by each other or the fires inside the stone fort as everything inside of it burned. Manny made it out, with a small group of survivors yet again.
After about a month of traveling his band of survivors came across a small group of people who had secured a hotel, and they had invited them in. Once inside Manny would meet someone who he would eventually have a marriage with. The hotel worked nice for a while, but due to limited farming space on the roof, supplies were thin, not desperate yet, but thin. When a large portion of the group left to find a location that would suit the needs better for the overall group, a horde came through, destroying the defenses for the hotel, and killing a large portion of the population. The survivors were trapped until the scouting party was able to return and pull them out, the man Manny had a makeshift Marriage with was killed after the defenses fell.
For the next year, Manny and the survivors of the hotel would travel with a few vehicles looking for fuel and food as they went. As they went, they came across other groups of survivors. Sometime when they came across these groups they would trade supplies, some of their people would stay, and some of theirs may join them. After a year of this, fuel became too hard to come across, so they would eventually settle down in a gated community where they were able to reinforce the gates, and clear out the buildings within them.
While in this new community Manny would help where he could, but he still mostly acted as the groups doctor, despite his many claims that he is not a proper doctor for the job. But between books and what areas do overlap from his schooling, he is still able to pull off a lot of things most his group wouldn't be able to in the medical field. His group would soon start collecting horses, other animals, grow crops, and have the space to do so. A lot of the equipment they needed they could pull from construction sites near by, and from the gravel mine in eye site of the walls. About a year after being within the new walls, the group learned how to reload used casings, though they were limited to shotgun shells as forming solid bullets was still something they did not have the ability to do yet, this was a huge improvement to their situation. Manny never learned how, he just knew that with the reintroduction of a proper ammunition supply scavengers would be more likely to go further to get the needed medical supplies for his makeshift doctor's office.
a handful of months later, a horde would pass through. By this point the group was used to redirecting them using shotguns and horses, but this one was large enough that they could only gets parts off at a time, and by the time the horde had reached the gate it was still a couple thousand. The scouts, Manny included, would keep trying to break off pieces, semi successfully, but with little luck overall. When the gates fell one of the fighters of the group decided they needed to take a stand at the gravel mine where the eye sight was clear, and it was close enough to draw the dead from the inside of the walls. Manny and about 8 others with most of the armory at their disposal open fired into the horde and drew them to the gravel yard. Between the gravel piles that stood tall, and the clear line of sights, it was easy to make every bullet the scouting party had hit it's mark. While this was going on, those on horseback would keep trying to draw pockets away using shotguns and themselves as bait. Despite being well coordinated, a lot of deaths still took place. Those who got scared and ran, found themselves surrounded faster then anyone could help them. Those who ran out of ammo first, found themselves defenseless on top of the piles of gravel. Those who had failed to pay attention to everything going on, were eaten. But by the end, the horde was mostly pulled away, and those not pulled away were killed. Out of the party of those who had been at the gravel mine, only Manny and one other survived, the other having been bit along the way.
Once back at the community, Manny attempted to remove the limb with little luck of doing so in time. His own clinic as it were, was burned in the fighting, along with several other buildings. He found this, odd to say the least. His people didn't have any fire weapons, and they weren't effective on the dead anyways. After looking around a while he found a couple other's of his group who had survived, and what looked like infected going through their supplies. Upon closer observation one of Manny's people made the observation that all of their Blood was smeared on them, they were not dead. Once one of the phony infected noticed Manny and the other survivors, they attempted to speak, Manny in his rage though took aim and fired on them all, giving none of them the chance to surrender. Despite repelling the attack, most of the survivors were dead or dying, and a lot of their supplies were destroyed or used up trying to recover, and with the gate down, defense became a lot harder, especially without enough people to regularly keep watch at all the gates.
Less then three weeks after the gates fell, people were desperate enough to kill each other for what supplies remained. Manny realizing this, decided that there wasn't anything he could do for the people who were left, staying together would only cause more tension between them. He took one of the horses, his share of the supplies, and left the first chance he got. He would ride on horseback borderline starving for weeks to come.
Soon after he came across a wounded man in a ditch, at first Manny figured he was just another dead corpse until he spoke, then Manny saw the plea for help in his eyes. He jumped off his horse to help, only to find himself surrounded and out gunned. Despite that, he would reach for his shotgun still on his horse, and while that action took place, he was knocked out from behind with a rifle stock. When he woke up he was in a cage, for an arena for people to fight to the death. He tried t plea that he was a doctor and if they would change their ways he would help them out. That got him a good gut punch and a chance to understand how bad things were. Days later, he would join fellow survivors in bringing an end to Eden.

Theme Song: "The Humbling River: ~Puscifer
How Many Walkers Have You Killed: "Truth be told, I don't know. Before a few months ago, I would say... maybe sixty five, people rarely wanted their only doctor fighting."
How Many People Have You Killed: "Should have seen that coming... Seven."
Why: "Two, because I denied them medical supplies they would have needed to survive... because I decided that someone else needed them more. One because they asked me to after being infected. The last four... because they killed everyone I cared about." Anything Else: -Manny goes by horseback, because a horse can eat grass with better effects then it will for Manny, and he still has supplies he thinks he'll need. -Blood Type A Positive

💙 Alexander 💙 "A good friend and a good ally" Manny trusts Alexander with his life, a lot of this is because Manny and Alexander have worked very closely since the events at Eden, and the loss of Alexander's leg. The two old men despite the lack of communication about their old lives.
👋 Beatrice 👋 "I don't think she likes me. We work together decent enough, but not much past that." Manny has tried at times to be on good terms with Beatrice, though where is Manny is very open and personal about how he goes about things, Beatrice isn't. Though Manny isn't a psychiatrist he wonders if it's a self defense mechanism to help cope with loss and potential loss. It would make sense.
♨️ Thana ♨️ "She's a strong leader but she's a pain in the ass." Manny considers Thana to be a strong and capable leader who has done wonders with the group to keep them alive. Though Manny thinks that Thana's decision to leave so late in the day so soon after Thalia lost her arm with the only working vehicle they have found in a long time was a foolish choice. He believes that she wouldn't have left them on purpose, but her choices to leave could have gotten everyone in the group killed.
🎆 Thalia 🎆 "She's a tough girl who reminds me of when I was young and ready to fight the world." Thalia reminds Manny of what he was like as a youth, hot headed, ready to fight anyone and everyone, and wouldn't take shit from anyone. Though Manny's poor attempts to make a little humor out of her losing her arm has caused a little tension. But she has recovered amazingly and is pushing forward. So he holds a lot of respect for her.
