Milo Ventri

Milo rolled his eyes almost the moment Paige started talking, what did he honsestly expect to come of this, she might have gotten some kind of manners it had been months since he had seen her or Anna at this point, but obviously that wasn't enough time to have any changes, at least not her, she could act high and mighty as she flashed her badge in front of him but it didn't matter, he just wanted to be left alone. "Seeing as you are standing here for some reason, staring holes into my head, I think it is. Judging by the standard beat cop attitude it seems you've been transferred." Milo looked around for a moment wondering why exactly she would be working right now, right here.

Paige snapped him from his thought when she began to talk about Vika, how dare she, she couldn't help but meddle with his relationship before, but this time was going to be different, he finally felt like he was building some kind of life for himself and this was not going to stop him. Though it was when Paige decided to interact with Vika that Milo drew the line, as Paige gave a sly wave, Milo slapped her hand away, "Stop that Paige, ruin your own life, leave mine out of it." Milo's eyes were burning at this point, "I made mistakes Paige, and I paid for them with everything I held dear. Stay away from her, I mean it." Just as he was finishing that statement he noticed the ridiculousness that was the perfect posse, "Fantastic, just what I needed." He looked back to Paige and nodded to the shouting men, "Take your pick, waste time trying to arrest me for slapping your hand, or stick around and watch the show, cause we're in for it." And with that he began to walk back to Vika shaking his head knowing that this was going to be another great night.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Centre Point . Public Party . Firday evening

Marinalia sighed as Ren returned the joke, it was awful but she expected it. Thr comment about Ren and such was not exactly subtle.

Heading over to get some drinks, non alcoholic as she had to fly in thr morning for the promo race, thr mock tails where at least better than a coke or orange juice.

... Thanks, merry Christmas too.

Smiling and thanking thr server as they handed over a violantly coloured mock tail, it was silly and rather bright but coke, Pepsi, meh.

very funny, little short for a stormtroopers? Snooping in a first order for drinks eh...

Laughing slightly, the stand off seemed to involve Milo and some woman, probbly just a ex jealous of his date or some other stupid reason. Nothing worth adding fuel to the fire right now.

nice to bump into someone I know, seems to be a ladies man tonight DR White...

With a slight tease thr long haired blonde woman with distinct grey eyes and ainciant Greek dress with a mid lengh coat. The woman was wearing a summer dress in the snow. She must be freezing, Alkaska was colder but she had missed the real winter out there. Looking over and giving a sympathetic look to someone who obviously chose fashion over function tonight.

With a balenced English accent between sips of a large over colourful mock tail.

brave choice for weather, dress looks cute though!

Marilania, Olympus. Still beats the weather in Alaska.

Watching her leave, she seemed intresting and rather distinct flame red hair.

its warmer in city hall miss... You can always get a can from there!

Southern dress in Northern winter, well that was a definite brave choice, thr poor woman looked about to freeze into a icicle though!

Though she had no truck, not much she could do to help her bar tell her city hall was warmer.

Victoria watched the stand off between Milo and the woman with bold hair and a death stare that could rival a laser weapon. They obviously had some of a past, not sure if knowing was a good idea or not, there was somthing very wrong with the situation.

As she waved over to Victoria Milo seemed to object her down and things took a seemingly intense turn between the two. Gah, what to do... To do... It was not like she was having a affair or anything. This woman had no reason to hate her right?

Walking over slowly and waiting as a group pushed on by backing up from the events going on thr far end near one of the main road junctions where a lot of police seemed to he looking with great intrest, and some concern. Being smaller it was harder to see over the crowds.

With a slightly concerned but also frustrated English accent, why did some ex have to pick this exact time to ruin her date. Thanks universe.

Looking over at Milo, meeting half way.

you alright. Little miss deathstar seems to have you rattled?

Come on... Let's go grab a drink... My sister and her freind are by that little bar...

Trying to redirect whatever situation was brewing, it seemed a good way of idea to make some space between them and this woman.

Turning back to thr laser eyed blonde, practical jacket and general look not quite of the normal party goer. She was definitely somthong different for sure. With a polite but firm English accent, she decided to reply.

I Don't know what between you two, but I already had a booking for this gentleman's evening. Happy holidays....

Hearing the very last bit... She had to sigh, with a fairly deadpan delivery.

trouble... This city and trouble seem to be a tad too regular...

Centre Point - Friday Evening

@Silver Fox specifically

Dread wasn't a common feeling for Jamal. For an over 6 feet tall, muscular man with thick bones and great strength, it simply wasn't encountered. The average man couldn't bring harm to him and he wasn't a pushover when it came to a fight. In most situations, he'd be able to roughhouse his way through and would occasionally use his brain to overcome obstacles. It was how he went through police academy, how he became one of the better undercover police officers in the force and how he became the man he was today. Also, the man is a very controlled person. He can control his emotions and isn't one to bumble around like an idiot. He walked with a purpose, he ate with a purpose, he slept with a purpose. He took no shit from anyone but he could control expressions on his face to the smallest detail. Unfortunately, this was no normal situation and the look of surprise on his face as he looked up was priceless. If one could take a frame by frame of his face alone, it would turn into surprise then anger then fear and then a sudden exhaustion that can only come from a man who has been mentally drained the entire evening.

Poor Jamal.

He glared at the offending mistletoe but quickly wiped it away as he looked back at the woman (he figured it out when he bumped into her) in front of him. Child may have been a better description, at least personality wise. She felt as bubbly and warm as he last saw her in the crowd. Cute was one way to describe her, despite all the scars on her face. One might even call attractive though very tall. But right now, she was an obstacle. The mistletoe was an obstacle. They were all obstacles before his goal and he was known to brute force his way through obstacles. He wiped his emotions away before setting into character, letting his eyes take a mischievous glint. It was almost like a switch was turned on, a sudden character change in the middle of a situation. Some idiots might say he was suddenly possessed by a ghost. But to Jamal, this was acting and he was very good at it.

"Well. What a situation we find ourselves in aye?" He said in his deep baritone voice, fake but convincing mirth in his tone. He took one glance at the group behind her and his approaching companion. They hadn't seen each other yet which was an absolute godsend. He had to make this quick. "Name's Jamal."

Before she could go halfway through introducing herself, Jamal softly grabbed her chin and pulled her towards him. He had a concentrated, intense gaze in his eyes. He leaned forwards for the kiss.

What a fucking night for Jamal.

Ashton Griffone || Central Point || Public Party || Friday Evening

@SgtEasy

He was looking at something, Ashton wasn't sure what but it seemed to interest this man. The dark skinned man had such a serious expression. Perhaps he was having a meeting? Perhaps for work or with friends? Amethyst eyes studied him curiously, watching his body language though he did put up a good wall to defy any readable gazes. Although at his response, Ashton's smile visibly brightened more then any light that was currently present, giving a little wave in a silent response. Purple orbs blinking rapidly in surprise as she felt a hand clamp on her chin to bring her down a bit, she found that this man face was drawing closer.

Some thoughts rapidly ran in her brain. One, this man had quite rough hands. They weren't being mean or anything, it was just hands that was someone experienced. By his muscle, could be a various of things. Could actually be a thug, could be a construction worker, a police officer, maybe a army man, or other various occupations.

Another was one that he seemed like he was seriously going to go through with the mistletoe tradition, which did surprise Ashton quite a bit. The last thing people seemed to want to do was lock lips with the big oaf that was the blonde firefighter. It did flatter her but she did have to quickly ponder that in reality only took a millisecond. With a amused smile, the tall blonde raised both hands and clapped them over Jamal's cheeks, trapping his head in between them. It was a gentle grasp, but it had strength. Her unprotected fingers calloused and overused with hard work during her time in the military and as a firefighter. Cuts and burn scars lightly decorating them.

Ashton gave a sigh through her smile and leaned down and placed her lips gingerly against the man's forehead, as if a mother wishing her child a goodnight or farewell before pulling back. Her amused and unoffended smile remain, removing her hands to wave her left index finger gingerly before gently near his lips then draw it down to his chest where his heart rested. A silent way of saying that he should save such a action for someone he really did care about. A kiss was suppose to be special after all, a magical feeling.

A friend from work, Marine, would say it wouldn't be a big deal. That someone who looked like this probably romanced plenty of women. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't find that someone. No, she wasn't going to tell him what to do or how to do it, it was just something she hoped he would experience. Be happy and find peace after any hardship he may have face. If she could somehow help him that in the long run, even with such a tiny act, then she would be happy.

Even if this was the first time meeting this man.

Having a feeling the poor guy was in a hurry or meeting a friend, she gave a silent chuckle, the blonde patting his shoulder and gave a wink, her right hand doing a circular movement towards the mistletoe as her gaze flicked to the plant before returning to him. Trying to say he should probably be more careful. Before giving a bright smile and waved both of her hands in unison as if to say farewell and to have a Merry Christmas before moving to step out of his way.

After all, she was sure her tall form made a inconvenient wall for his friends he was probably looking for.

Current Location: Flour Meadough, Friday Evening - Interacting With: Victor - Mentioned: No One

"Oh no, sorry, I’m not here for the bakery. I was uhh, told to come here and uhh, ask for Derek Thompson."

Olivia frowned after his statement, although it was not one of disappointment as much as of it was of a confused stare. Why was this strange man acting for Olivia's father? Olivia had never met this man in her past, but he knew her father's name and was looking for him. "I’m not looking for handouts or anything, but my mother told me this was a good place to start looking for my father." The man continued, leaving Olivia even more baffled towards his statements. Olivia wasn't sure what to think, and her grandmother wasn't here to help her granddaughter with this strange man looking for his father--Olivia's father.

A moment passed with Olivia--still expressing her confusion--decided to speak.
"...Why don't you come inside for a moment? I'll fetch some tea and biscuits." Olivia explained, leaving the door open for the stranger and directing him to a nearby table. Meanwhile, Olivia went behind the counter, and filled a kettle full of water to let it boil over the stove. "So, what's your name? Forgive me for not asking earlier. It just isn't every day someone shows up asking for my father." Olivia spoke, pouring the now hot water over a fresh teabag and letting it steep as she fetched a few English biscuits and some other flaky goods on a tray.

Once the tea was ready, Olivia poured it into two cups--one for herself and one for the stranger. Placing the cups on the tray, Olivia walked back over towards the table and set the tray down with some plates, placing a few of the baked goods on each plate beside the tea cup.
"My name is Olivia." Olivia responded, taking a bite from a biscuit and a sip of tea. "How does it taste? My grandmother and I made a bit too much earlier, so these are the leftovers." Olivia asked, before taking a quick glance to the clock. It would be a long ride to the city hall, and the bus would only come at a certain time.

Siobhan: Central Point; Public Party

Siobhan glanced over her shoulder and saw yet another blonde woman shout something about City Hall. Probably where her parents were. Only one problem. She had no idea where that was. Looking around she saw the Hotel. Awesome!!! Just dig my key card out and run upstairs. Quickly she got her green velvet full length cloak and ran back downstairs and out into the crowd. Fighting to get back to either Paige, and introduce herself or continue the conversation with Ren, which truth be told he was interesting. She hoped her reunion with her parents could wait till after she had her fun.

Pulling up her hood yet again and gracefully dodging people she hummed her favorite song Moonlight Sonata. It always reminded her of the first boy she had a crush on. He played so beautifully. As she hummed something occurred to her. She couldn't remember his name. They'd met a few times at charity events and society parties and both of them being the closest in age spent them together. She remembered her parents approving of the friendship but not what his name was. She always thought of him as her "Little Prince" just like the book.

Not thinking she wandered back toward where she recalled the dancing to be. Seeing above the crowd when you're above average height for a female is pretty easy if not every male if freakishly tall as well. Spotting a blonde giant or possible basketball player-seriously how many blondes gravitate to Sol?-that she remembered seeing she started moving back that way.

Paige Kennedy

“Oh Milo, you make me tired,” Paige said mockingly. She thoroughly enjoyed still being able to push the man’s buttons. Getting a rise out of him so easily and then managing to even get him to take a swat at her was a bonus. The man had done enough damage during his time in Delta City and if he thought that he paid enough for his sins, he was sadly mistaken. She would see to it. Once she’d truly established herself as a lawwoman, many of her female friends came to her as a shield or for protection and she, admittedly liked the role as defender. Some were justified and others were not. Milo had been smart enough to know where the lines were, however Anna was like her sister and that made it different. She debated momentarily about sending her a text, but stowed the thought for later.

The pitiful young girl he’d been attempting to court seemed to want to smooth things over. She looked as if she’d shatter like a vase if a strong wind took her over. Paige’s glance turned to one of slight empathy as Milo walked away ranting. If she only knew what I know. She thought. This is nothing. And it took so very little to set him off. She shook her head. The poor girl was likely so star-crossed she wouldn't notice. There were things Paige knew and could have said that would have destroyed the man on the spot, but she wasn’t completely without heart. She let them walk away.

The crowds again began to move about as music started up again and the snow picked up noticeably and everyone seemed to respond to it happily. She sighed in annoyance. It was likely well over seventy degrees back home and she wished for it thoroughly. She didn’t get a glimpse of whatever group of hoodlums Milo was ranting about and didn’t care a great deal either. Her phone vibrated in her pocket and she checked it to see a text from Xi to meet inside at the main ballroom.

Kei Kinzo

Looking upon the massive area that was Central Point, Kei was overwhelmed for a few seconds. He was unsure where to start. He wanted to avoid crowds as much as possible but all things considered that seemed literally impossible. It was a sea of people and it seemed everyone in Sol City was at this party. Everything looked interesting and there was some things he wanted to go and see but that was going to be a hard objective to accomplish. Glancing at the crowd one more time he started towards it, readying himself for the uncomfortable pushing he would have to do. He walked in head first into the crowd. It did not take long for the crowd to basically consume him.

He slowly began to make his way through the crowds of people he threw out excuse me's and pardon me's left and right ensuring to not be rude to the people around him as well as to avoid bumping into people without cause. It was becoming tedious and annoying. He pushed through the people for what felt like tens of minutes before finally coming to a small clearing near what seemed like a sitting area for people to relax and converse with each other. He raised his head to the sky and took a nice deep breath. He was feeling claustrophobic due to the tiny spaces he had to work with and as such when he was finally free from it, a wave of relief washed over him. In terms of seeing anyone he knew, there was no luck. After all he had just pushed through various people, there was no chance for Kei to spot anyone in the massive crowds. Of all things Kei felt like visiting a small cafe near by just to relax and take a load off from the ridiculous crowds.

Letting out a sigh he found a nice spot to lean up against to relax for a bit. Once he found a nice light pole that was unoccupied and not surrounded by people, he leaned up against it and pulled out his phone from his pocket. He occupied himself with the internet for the time being as he thought of something to do.

Milo Ventri

Milo was seething as he walked away, everything was ruined, more than just his evening, his new life, not even out of it's infancy was being shot down quickly by this woman. Milo tried to separate his thoughts from it but he knew that it was only a matter of time, Paige would be back to her homewrecking ways soon and likely has already messaged Anna where he is and what he is doing. None of this was even their business, but here they come like a hurricane to shatter him on the rocks. As Milo returned to Vika, She spoke out to Paige, and his heart only sank, she was trying to be kind to him, and she was bearing her fangs a bit as well, more moxie than he knew what to do with.

"I would suggest to just let her go and not let it bother you.... But I can't take my own advice, I'm sorry Vika, I honestly expected my past to follow me, I just thought I would have been more ready for it." Milo was definitely upset, but it was anger, not fear, not regrets, anger. Milo couldn't understand how so many people still could hate him, or why he was forced to constantly be reminded, he was the one that thought he would never walk again, he endured the surgeries, the recovery, and still he lost everyone, and he was still the villain. "That woman is Paige, my ex's best friend, as well as a cop. She hated my guts before I ever got hurt but my actions then didn't make it better." Milo could only think of what he had done then as they went to get a drink, he had been much more aggressive, and hateful, smashed windows and plates and whatever else was near, yelled at anyone near him, even when they were only trying to help him, but he had changed, he was more the old Milo than ever, and yet here he was, proving Paige right by seething about her just being here.

Milo took the drink from the man serving them and downed it, and took another with him. "Lets go and meet up with Marinalia then, I will try and salvage your night as best I can, and I will try to be much less of a nuisance." Milo smirked at the feeling of angst then shook the thought away, he had worked to hard to be rid of the depression he was in to let one terrible conversation put him back, not with as much as he has riding on him being better. Still Milo couldn't help but wonder why she was here, last he had known she was busting arms dealers or something in Delta, she wasn't looking for him was she? No, Milo hadn't made anything in quantity to draw that kind of attention. Milo started to think about recent customers, he had a few that had ordered custom gun parts, could they have used one in something serious? Whatever the reason, he needed to probably put up some of his projects before he becomes a suspect.

Centre Point - Friday Evening

@Silver Fox, @Almalthia, @Pilatus and @Robo27 specifically

Jamal didn't know what he expected. Well, he did but it was so far off the truth that he wasn't going to admit that he was wrong. So instead, he settled for pleasant surprise. When surprisingly calloused hands cupped his cheeks and soft lips grazed his forehead, he should have been offended. He was duped, one could say, even though the outcome was preferred over kissing. He was made a fool. But when she retreated back and placed a finger on his heart, he couldn't help but let his lips curl into a smile. It was nice to know that there were people like her, innocent and warm. He could understand the gesture and appreciated it, even though he had no one he could really make the gesture too. He was always... far too busy for a relationship and he never counted his one night flings as anything resembling one. The last time he had a deep connection with another person was so long ago that he couldn't even remember what it felt like. Sure he can remember what lips tasted like, what it felt to have someone under you under the bed sheets but the feeling of a true kiss? Not since his mother died. Ever since, he was driven to loneliness and separation from most normal people. It was nice to be reminded like this, reminded how physical contact was more than a release of sexual frustration. It was nice to be reminded what fun was.

The officer nodded at the woman, who he still didn't know the name of. But he felt as though it wasn't necessary to. Sometimes all you needed was the personality, not the name which labelled the person. She gestured towards the mistletoe and made a knowing smile. The man just scratched the back of his neck under his dreads, face promising an apology. She turned to her side and let him pass. He offered a real smile this time, who came from the man himself and not "Jimmy". This woman reminded him what kind of people he was here to protect, what the value of his actions were. To keep Sol's innocent few, people like her and in this party, safe from the criminals who threatened them. With one last nod of acknowledgement, he set about his task with an interception course towards his nearest companion. He took larger strides, his arms swinging with a purpose as he swaggered into the crowd. All the while, he had to find a way to distract the idiot he was homing on to, to protect the people in this crowd from a potentially horrid gang fight. He ignored the ranting man that passed him, the musical crescendo and the dancers who surrounded him. He was completely focused on the thug in front of him. He had a horrible idea but a fun one.

"Hey bro," Jamal started, getting the attention of the musclehead in front of him. "Ralph started talking shit about you and called you gay."

The change was instant. "The fuck?! Why did Ralph say that on this fuckin' op, Jim?"

The officer kept his cool as his counterpart's face contorted into disbelief. "Ya see, we were chattin' and shit and we were talkin' about havin' sex with bitches real slow, you know what I mean? He took a couple swigs of the Jack Daniel's from the party and started talkin' about your missus man. Told me you couldn't get it up anymore and that he had to 'lay with your missus for her benefit', if you know what I mean? Cause, I think he said, 'you were only attracted to guys and didn't even like Sophia, I swear to God he has a sex toy collection'. Then he called you gay and shit." The man's face contorted into true anger. By the smell of his breath, his swaying with the wind and unfocused eyes, the man was drunker than Jamal had previously thought. This was perfect for his plans.

"Who is this motherfucker named Ralph and where can I beat his fuckin' ass Jim." Jamal smiled and pointed at a man sized bush near a post where an Asian man was currently situated. His companion, now thoroughly enraged, emitted a low growl as he stomped towards the bush. He pushed his way through the crowd, huffing and puffing. The officer followed him, making sure that the man didn't do anything too stupid.

"You Ralph, motherfucker?" The drunkard pointed at the man sized bush, dribble going down his chin. "I'll fuck you up, you green bastard!" He began pounding his chest, now glaring at the man sized bush with murder in his eyes. He tackled the bush, muscular arms punching the shit out of the bush. Jamal stood a safe distance away near the post, staring at the ridiculous scene in front of him. His plan was going better than expected, now to wait for some policeman or the nearby marshal to detain the man in front of him. He wasn't supposed to be intoxicated anyways. "Yo' doing good man," he encouraged with a deadpan voice "yo' definitely doin' a number against that asshole."

The fake thug sighed and looked towards the Asian man near him. He nodded and extended a hand. "Hope he ain't disturbing yo' evening, bushwhacker got his ass way too drunk. Name's Jimmy."

That woman before had shown him the nice part about this city, maybe there were more people like her around?

Sasha

Heading towards Centre Point . Public Party . Friday evening

Sasha discarded the remnants of his cigarette as he narrowly avoided unneeded social interaction with some merry moron in an ugly Christmas sweater. He loathed the yuletide holidays and it was difficult to retain his usual calm demeanor. The ingestion of copious amount of drugs and alcohol was truly the only way to survive this time of year with one’s sanity in check. Speaking of which Sasha dug through his Louis Vuitton clutch until he found his clear plastic bag. Damn, the coke was almost finished and at this rate it would be gone before he got to the party. Weighing his options he slipped into an alley and produced a straw from his handbag, using the straw he snorted the remaining powder from the bag. It was hardly the most elegant way to enjoy the product, but he doubted that any of the storefronts provided that they were even open would let him use their restrooms. His whole body shuddered in sublime ecstasy. What a rush! He let out a pleasurable moan as he disposed off the straw and the baggie amongst the other rubbish the littered the alley. He slipped out of the alley with a renewed vigor and a pep in his step per say. The holidays became a fraction more tolerable. Ha! Perhaps he’d ironically indulge some eggnog whilst painting his nails the garish greens and reds associated with this time of the year.

Khorshid, and Lupe

Centre Point

@Pilatus@PrinceAlexus

Lupe and Khorshid thanks to their bodyguards pushed further into the event proper. Lupe was disappointed that their entrance did not garner a bigger reaction; boos and jeers were preferable to the deafening silence. It vexed him to think that Sasha was essential to their public reception as it only lead credence to the petite Russian de facto leadership over the group. Goddammit he was sick of that pretentious fop. If he was forced to listen to another one of Brian Eno’s ambient albums or Sasha’s analysis of them he break the record over his friend’s head. Lupe as the self proclaimed “popularest” guy in the group knew deep down he should be the leader. The large Cuban looked around for someone or something of interest. Lupe let out a hearty chuckle as he watched two gangbangers pass out of the corner of his eye and knew deep down they wished they were as hard as him. He was a straight baller. He shivered because despite his girth as a lifelong Floridian he was not accustomed to anything colder than seventy degrees. He noticed that Khorshid had been trying to get his attention and was tugging on his sleeve like an impatient child. Lupe leaned in so he could hear his friend over the crowd.

“I think I saw my girl Lupe”

“Your girl?…Oh, you mean that wet blanket from the record store.” Lupe scanned the crowd to no avail . “Shit, where she at man.”

Khorshid pointed in the general direction of Marinalia and Lupe let out a loud whistle as they both leered at her body.

“Damn, looks like she dolled herself up just for you K. She probably all like ‘I need a little curry inside me to spice up my prudish life’. You definitely going to score tonight boy. Trust me as I have a minor in… Women's studies.”

“That’s right. I keep forgetting that you have that. Those were the days. Didn’t the professor attempt to press charges on you.”

“Funny sto…”, Lupe stopped midsentence as he caught a glimpse of someone he hadn’t seen in years. “Great White Buffalo”, he quietly exclaims under his breath.

Despite not hearing his friend Khorshid recognized the awe that enveloped the fat Cuban’s visage. “Holy Moly. The one that got away? Your first true crush? Your unrequited love? The only woman you respect outside of your Mother? Paige is here in Sol Shitty?”

Lupe nodded, but couldn’t bring himself to say anything.

“Well what are we standing around for. We should go after her bro. Shame Sasha isn’t here yet, but fate is smiling down on you for this brief window of time and it would be foolish to through it away. What kind of wingman would I be if I let my own fleeting passions overshadow the chase. I know that you would do the same for me big guy.”

“Bless up, your so articulate with your words when you slam down that Ritalin K”, said Lupe wiping tears out of eyes.

The duo races after Paige with their security in toe attempting to get her attention.

Sasha

Centre Point

@SgtEasy@Robo27

Sasha eventually managed to get to the epicenter of tonight’s little get-together though it was a blur in regard to how exactly he got here. He blew on his hot chocolate before taking a tentative sip of the decadent liquid. Though the petite man struggled to remember where he acquired the liquid or the ornate mug for that matter; Santa’s chiseled face held no answers and in fact it seemed to mock him. Shoot. Why was he here again? And where were Khorshid and Lupe? Or his security? Shrugging he took another sip of the drink. It was really good Hot Chocolate. He watched some brutish man-handle a shrub. Was this even real life. He couldn’t even deal right now. To make things worse some horrible lowlife nabbed all his cocaine. However, that mystery would have to wait for another time. Sasha decided to approach the two other men not embroiled in a pitted struggle against mother nature. A feint scent of oranges filled his nostrils. Odd.

“Darlings. I’m..I must say…I’m elated perhaps even overjoyed to make your acquaintances. Hope I am not disturbing anything here. Though I must say It really warms the cockles of my heart to see vegetation so utterly eviscerated.” Sasha smiles clearly a tad out of it.

Victoria looked over as the two parted ways heading out what seemed like the Brightly lit city hall venue. Sol city was living up to its name and thr lights where shining brightly, so bright to blind people of some of the cities darker sides.

Noticing Milo apologies and warning her off Paige, definitely somthing very tricky going on with that situation. Exs best freind, cop, well that was starting to add up then, thr ghost of Christmas past was deciding to make itself known. Yay, thanks universe for throwing that walking talking buzz kill into the mix.

If I wanted someone perfect, I'd have to watch a Disney movie. A bad past... Is a past.

I'm not even 25 and this is me... Ghosts float away when they get bored, cannot run away from your own body...

Slightly bitter, she was sympathetic but also never got over everything that happened to her, Exs came and went, ghosts could pass on by. Some things did not change. Softening somewhat, Victoria nodded and took his hand directed him over with more force than expected for someone of her size, deciding that keeping Milo and Paige as far apart as possible. He was apologising, and drinking... Well he defenitely needed a softer hand than the r ghosts.

nights only just begun... Anyway... I did not spend hours getting ready for you to quit Mr.... Anyway...

Jazz night... Swharma... You think I'd be here if I was not comfortable?

Joking slightly, it was kinda true, she had put too much effort into tonight to just give up and let some ghost win at thr first skirmish. Every deathstar had a thermal exhaust port anyway right?

Marilania smiled, despite what seemed like tension Victoria seemed to still be with Milo even if they had hit what seemed like a minor pot hole. Things where not as bad as she saw watching her sister down a drink before leaving. Lacking a free hand to carry one.

hey you two... Seems Romus sisters are trouble magnets.

Brrr... Fancy moving to City hall soon . Much as I worked in alakska, I'm not cold blooded.

MILO, Ren. Well you should least be introduced after one of you pulled the other out a flooding buikding... And saved a grateful sister to one who seems to have you charmed.

Smiling and putting a arm round Ren, before giving the jeering jerk of a fat Cubert, Indian being about as civilised as a caveman dragging women into there cave by there hair before thr thought made her want to take a shower. Replying with a very clear middle finger before turning to Ren.

Ummm... Mind escorting a lady to the dance Ren... Just as freinds. Please... Pea brain and Fidel the Hurt have returned...

With a obvious, help me look in grey eyes, maybe they might be less interested if she was not "alone" and Ren was a freind, why would she not spend time with a freind? Was he... He was kinda.. Then he was kissing some guy at jazz night... Well being kissed... Ren was a Mystery and a half.

Looking round she she saw the snow flurries growing in strengh and the weather began to cool making her notice it even with a cost. Unlike the poor thing in that summer dress she saw earlier, tall red hair. She must be forzen.

Vanishing into the crowd she was sure she saw Kei... Was that his name from the jazz night., old starboard. The student with investments... Yeah that was him. Before she could remember he had vanished back into the throng. Ans a man beating up a Bush... OK... What exactly was going on here...

Thr mayor was watching, one of his staff noticing a man watching things, top sharp to be one of the normal masses the older man seemed to have a certain intensity about his gaze. Before they had too many times to think, they watched the possee and security vanish into crowd.or someone else.. Maybe his advisers idea of starving them of attention had more merit than they thought.

Friday Morning to AfterNoon to Evening

Sebi slowly opened his eyes and looked around the inside of aeroplane before leaning forward slightly to see that they finally touched down. He let out a sigh of relief thankfully that their 2-hour flight is finally done and over. He calmly waited till he could get up and grab his overhead bag and got off. He stretched stiffly and was quick to go wait for his bags with all of his supplies so he could finally head to shop set up before going upstairs to relax a bit.

Sebi grabbed his other three bags. He stepped outside and looked around see if there was a taxi nearby so it could take him to his new home near a place called Nova Wave Arcade. He dropped his stuff in the trunk of the taxi and climbed into the back seat and stared out the window watching as people moved around the city in cars, on bikes or on foot. he sighed once more as they drove past the Arcade and stopped in front of his shop. He climbed out and grabbed his stuff before paying the driver in full with a 10 dollar tip and waved them goodbye.

Sebi looked up at the story building in front of him the shop door closed and the windows shutters closed and locked. He walked up to the front door and dropped his stuff so he could fumble around looking for his keys before unlocking the door and pushing it open. he poked his head in and kicked one bag inside and toated the rest upstairs to his 'apartment.' He really didn't know what else to call it besides his home above work but it's whatever. he flicked on the lights and dropped everything at the door. He looked around and dropped to the floor exhausted.

It was sometime later when lunchtime rolled around Sebi had slowly woken up. He sat up a bit and looked around at the empty room before flipping open his phone to see how far all of his furniture and personal belongings are since he had flown in from Key West Florida which is across the entire country. His stomach growls loudly, as he clammared to his feet. He sighed and headed out to Central point to grab a bite to eat and to do some quick shopping while in a place the locals had called 'central point.'

Milo Ventri

Milo could only smile, Vika was someone who could relate to him, someone that has walked this valley and has managed to not collapse. He held a bit tighter to her hand, letting his conversation with Paige fade from his mind. as they made their way over to her sister, he couldn't help but smirk as she mentioned having gotten so dressed up, "And a worthwhile sight you are, I know, you are stronger and more beautiful a woman than I could have hoped to meet when I came here." Milo looked at her with kind eyes, his tension and stress seemingly lifting a bit, and as they reached Marinalia and Ren he looked to them as Marlin spoke.

"Now, sadly, I was the magnet today, but the night is young and there isn't a minute to waste." Milo chuckled at the comment trying to just let it go, really what could she do, Milo Had already told Vika the worst of it, she knew that he had been a worse person than he is now, however he needed to banish the thought, a lovely woman on his arm and kind people around him, one naysayer couldn't harm him. Milo turned to Ren as they were introduced a little more formally than the time at the swan song. "It's nice to actually meet you formally, Milo Ventri, I run Final Round Armory in the Harbor district." And he held out his large hand to shake the other mans as Marlin started to mention the incoming pair of overconfident ne'er do wells, these men were going to hurt someone seriously or be hurt seriously, and with Milo's current association with the Romus family, he was starting to think he was going to be part of it.

Victor Henson

Friday Night >>> inside of the Flour Meadough Bakery

The girl looked confused by his statements or maybe taken off guard, something he expected but was glad to hear her invite him in and out of the cold. “Tea and biscuits sounds lovely ma'm” he smiled and made his way inside closing the door behind him, following the girl and then to a table she pointed at. He sat down and looked around the room quietly, looking at all the food on display and getting a good feel for the place. He looked back over toward her as she moved some things near a stove.

“So, what's your name? Forgive me for not asking earlier. It just isn't every day someone shows up asking for my father.”

His heart fluttered for a moment as she finished her sentence, “Well uh, my name is Victor, Victor Henson. And your father... oh” he spoke as he looked away and bit his lip nervously, “sorry I'm not very good at social things but my mother passed away last month and well she told me about him.” he paused for a moment and looked at the girl with a smile, “she told me that they were just friends and it was more of a hey lets have some fun before I move away, sort of deal” he sighed remembering his mother, sure they didn't see eye to eye or have the best relationship, but she was still his mother.

“My name is Olivia.”

“How does it taste? My grandmother and I made a bit too much earlier, so these are the leftovers.”

“Olivia is a nice name, I guess that makes you my half sister than. Do you have any brothers or sisters?” he smiled at her again as he tried the sweets she had brought over for them with the tea. The baked goods where a rather nice treat and seemed to calm his nerves a little, “these are really good.” he spoke in between bites. This reminded him that he did have a light dinner, so he would have the appetite to ample the festivals' food. Setting the empty tea cup down he smiled at her again, “so how would you feel with coming with a near total stranger to the festivities in town?” Victor spoke to her in a rather joking tone. “There's no need to worry... that much, I protect people for a living.”

Ashton Griffone || Central Point || Public Party || Friday Evening

@Almalthia

Watching the man go, her smile brightening as he managed to make a pleasant smile on his face. It was nice seeing smiling faces, it brought her joy that she could perhaps bring them a little pick-me up now and then. Sol was a beautiful city, though perhaps it also had its own happenings that tended to bring people down just a bit. People at times forgot occasionally that there can be good things. And a smile now and then was a pleasant way to make someone's day. So with that Ashton turned and started walking again, of course with just a few steps, she almost crashed into someone else.

This time, she managed to wave her arms and catch herself from falling off balance and not crush this new person or fall flat on her back again. The scar face blonde placed her hands on her chest and took a relieved breath before opening her gaze to look down at the person she about crushed. A woman with brilliant pretty blue eyes. The tall ambiguous firefighter thought she saw some light red strands of hair slick out from under the hood, the type of hair that stood out a bit.

Giving a silent laugh and a embarrassed smile as she raised her left index finger to scratch her cheek in a awkward manner before placing her hands together, the tips of her long fingers touching her lips and did a little apologetic bow. Trying to apologize for almost once again crushing someone. How embarrassing, Marine would sure be disappointed in her for sure.

Centre Point . Public Party . Firday evening

Victoria was caught off guard by thr sudden about course Milo had pulled, from Paige and angry to suddenly somthing else in a matter of a few minutes, things seemed to be back on track again, the evening was proving to be a intresting one, at least no one had pulled a fire alarm this time yet.

Thrown off guard and blushing slightly, though the effect mostly made her look somewhat just slightly healthier and contrast more against her hair and white faux fur coat.

you win Milo.... Though the second place prize is not bad. And Mali. Fine. You won that little bet.

Deciding subtly was vastly overrated and a pretty much lack of words available in her head. Using the advantage of the curb to gain a few inches leaning in for a full on kiss and ignoring several wistles from passing university students heading to one of thr many bars open especially with various promotions.

Breaking it as Marinalia whistled and smiled, finaly, Vika needed someone nice and after all her life she deserved abit of fun like a normal person of her age. She had missed out on alot in her teens and seemed things where falling into place in Sol city.

Finaly... I thought you would be collecting cats Vika..

Laughing, before noticing Ren and realising she might scare him off abit, but he was with Mali ish.... In some way. He would be fine, he and Mali seemed to have built at least some form of acord over the past week or so.

Dogs maybe for you.. Unless that mechanic can fix things at the airport.

Hey Ren, I hope you Don, t mind us crashing your evening. Il try to avoid apples. You seem a nicer DR.

So.. What brought you to this fine snow filled evening? Bar our lovely selves of course.

Marilania had told her abit about him, DR, who seemed highly changeable from being a nervous wreck to playing with her hair on the jazz night, to kissing a guy to hiding here... He was a enigma at times. The two had debated abit what was the answer to avail bar more questions.

Watxhing from afar they saw some extremely tall woman alsost fall under the mistletoe to some giant muscled man. Well they had obviously started on the drinks earlier or cupid had decided to trip people up into romance instead of using arrows.

Least other people where having a good time, and the arrogent idiots had yet to ruin the general party atmosphere.

Paige Kennedy

Paige glanced down at her phone briefly in midstride checking a few emails and other messages. Across one saved tab flashed the weather forecast… for Delta City. Her lips pursed slightly. A high of seventy-nine and a nighttime low of sixty-three with the evening temperature a comfortable seventy degrees. That pathetic loser, Milo, put it on her mind. Seeing him brought back a lot of memories and though many of them were framed by his foolish exploits, it was the setting, her home that tugged at her heart strings. The last few days had been such a whirlwind that she hadn’t really thought about it a lot, but as she put her phone away and began to approach City Hall, the building where their office was currently situated, it was beginning to wear on her a little. She hoped they could have this sewn up quickly and she could find a way to finagle her way back. The image of the man she’d cut down blinked by in an instant. Even though it had been the primary reason for her transfer, she was proud of what she’d done and though no one could say it officially, she knew most were of a similar sentiment.

Making her way around the perimeter she aimed to use her passkey to enter from the side rather than having to bump elbows with the masses through the main gate, but found some sort of commotion making its way through the party as she walked. She paid little mind at first, brushing it off as revelers having too much of a good time giving the local cops some entertainment. However, as it grew closer she thought she could hear the sound of her name being called and it gave her enough pause to stop and look. Even against the sounds of the party there was no doubt as she listened hard and intently. Someone was calling for her though she had no idea who or for what reason. The wind blew some of her hair and as she brushed it away the appearance of a garish holiday-coordinated tracksuit became apparent. She cocked her head slightly as the smell of heavy cologne arrived shortly before the hefty body that carried it along. Once the large man had broken through there was virtually no mistake about the identity.

“Lupe?” She said with genuine surprise. Her expression lightened. The Floridian was clearly winded along with some of his less conditioned security detail. They’d apparently covered some ground to catch up to her. There was also a young Indian tagging along in an odd purple military jacket reminiscent of Michael Jackson. He wore such a vacant grin on his face Paige wondered if he might be from some sort of challenged youth program that Lupe was being forced to cart around as one of his many token punishments. “What are you doing here?” She asked.

The snow was coming down thicker and Siobhan really wanted to get inside out of the cold but at the same time she wanted to have a familiar face to talk to at least. Besides her parents. Her daddy was a wonderful dancer but she couldn't help thinking about Ren. He was very attractive and she couldn't put her finger on it but familiar in some way. Shaking the thought from her head as fantasy she was side tracked by thoughts on what she was here in Sol for.

She had planned to take some time to work on getting the rest of her Masters in Fine Arts at the university and work on some text book illustrations for a client. She, the client, was in the medical field and writing a book on anatomy and paying a huge sum, pretty much enough so that Siobhan could attend the university and not worry about expenses if she was careful. Plus it meant that her parents wouldn't have to pay her way, and she wouldn't have to dip into her charity fund. And it was getting close to looking like that. As good as she was doing Siobhan liked to keep her art and talent as diverse as possible, she knew she'd be more in demand if she did.

Not paying attention to her footing Siobhan slipped and barely kept her feet under her as she jostled someone. Siobhan blinked as the tall blonde bowed. She smiled at him, or was it her? She couldn't tell. Either it was a very pretty man or a handsome woman. The scars seemed to scream male to her though. "Oh my apologies sir. I didn't mean to jostle you. Forgive me. My name is Siobhan Murphy. I'm on my way to the City Hall and looking for a couple of people. Do you think you could be so kind as to looking around for me and pointing them out?"

Siobhan looked at the blonde with her best puppy dog eyes that never failed to make her daddy's heart melt, hoping it worked on more than just her daddy. "I'd be more than happy to save a dance for you, that is if you dance." Siobhan lays on the charm thick and grins at the blonde.

Blinking her amethyst eyes as Ashton curiously watched this pretty girl speak, the tall firefighter raising her left index finger to scratch against her cheek while her right hand moved behind the dirty blonde hair to ruffle it a bit. Giving a bright smile and shaking her head, waving her left hand a bit at the apology, as if to tell this woman to not worry about and it wasn't any problem. Indroducing herself as Siobhan Murphy, Ashton brightened, dropping her hands to lightly wave a greeting. Taking her Boogie Board that was handing from her neck and was nestled under the folds of the baggy jacket she wore and started to scribble on it.

Usually, Ashton preferred to not having to use this, but she had a somewhat difficult name to convey properly. When done, she turned the boogie board around to show the white letters spelling 'Ashton Griffone' and gave a cheerful smile. Either way, Ashton didn't particularly care the mistake of gender, it didn't really matter if she was a boy or a girl. Still, it was nice to be spoken to my such a pretty girl and ever since she was a child, couldn't help but admire them.

At the request and the full on puppy dog eyes, Ashton shyly shuffled her feet a little but gave a cheerful thumbs up with both of her hands and lightly touched her coat and lightly pulled it as if to say 'leave it to me' before raising her left hand. Holding it horizontal just above her eyes and looked around before turning her amethyst gaze to Siobhan with a curious and questioning expression. Expressing that she was wondering who or what she was exactly looking for when scouting for this woman's friends.
