Tomoe Kishitmoto

@Silver Carrot@Artymis@Aerandir

After asking Erza if the blonde girl was in her class too she got an affirmative nod of the head before the girl introduced herself as Mina and how her beautiful eccentric costume came to be, they had a design meeting with her mother and a dress professional to make this hero costume where as Tomoe had designed the whole thing herself from pictures of internet. She hadn't thought that someone would seriously go out of the way to make a big fuzz out of it. She thought most hero costumes looked good anyway even though they were made from onesies and some stitching. Feeling somewhat awkward hearing how professional the whole situation was she replied.

"Yea, I can see it taking a lot of work to get such a nice outfit. I'm a bit jealous to be honest."

Having said that Mina comforted Tomoe by telling her that Tomoe her costume looked good as well. Just like Ezra who told her that she had to believe in her own opinions about her suit and not that of the others. Tomoe displayed a shy smile on her face with her head tilted forwards. The insecure blush that she held on her face had lessened feeling a bit more confident in her style of clothing now after hearing it from this serious girl and Ezra.

"Thanks."

"Ehehehe. You have pretttty hair Minaaaa."

Tomoe suddenly stepped closer to Mina and snuggled her head against Mina her blonde locks. Tomoe moved her head under her hair and let it sit on top of her head with the hair hanging from the left side of her head. She turned her head to smell the nice hair.

"So fluffy and sweet."

She dropped her head against Mina her shoulder while tangling her hands around the rest of her body. Pulling herself loosely towards Mina so they were pretty close. Mina her hair had dropped down from Tomoe her head again as she snuggled her head against Mina her cheek again whilst asking her a weird question.

"Can we trade?"

After having gotten Mina her reaction to all of that Tomoe jumped up again full of energy facing Ezra this time around.

"Ezra, Ezra, we can try to combine our quirks a little for the training. I don't know how much it will help but it is fun to try right! Like you can do your thing with my double if you want. Mina is in our team too right? I don't know her quirk yet but we can try it as well!"

It was then that she was confronted by a boy standing nearby them, his face did not bring up any memories in Tomoe her head even though she should have remembered him. She was bad with remembering others when she didn't seem them for over a year. Her expression turned into one of concern. Did she do something bad? He knew her name and had a heft looking gun with him. Did she at some point irritate him. From his words she didn't think he meant them all too kindly at her. Tomoe slowly backed off towards the back of Erza where she was safe. Did she eat something from him out of the fridge last night? Oh no this was bad.

"I'm too young to die Ezra! Protect me! I didn't steal his pudding!"

Yukari Yozakura

Yukari was excited for the next lesson. A big brawl with other students! In their hero costume even! Yukari was excited for it certainly. Sure it could be painful, but hero work wasn't for the faint of heart. Unlike some Yukari had no disillusion that she might get hurt. Some people might have a bit of a hard time holding back, but Yukari could take it. She wasn't a soft little girl. She wished she knew who her teammates were, but she was certain they would find her soon enough. She headed to the gym to change into her uniform. It was actually just her costume from her days back at the circus. She had a designer give it a more unique design, as well as utilizing a special fabric that stretches with her limbs. They were designed to be highly resistant against friction, as well as slashing and piercing. Yukari tied up her hair into two long ponytails too. While this might seem like a hazard for people to grab, Yukari's hair was as rubbery as the rest of her body. Anyone who'd grab them would be in for a surprise when her hair stretches and wraps around their hands.

After changing into her costume Yukari went to the armory. She grabbed some armored gauntlets as well as some of the circlets and capturing cloth from yesterday. She thinks that she could master these tools to become a better hero. Sure, yesterday was a bit embarrassing, but she could only get better with practice. Soon she went looking around for her teammates, who from what she's heard, was Dulga, Mamoru, and Kaida. She knew them from Villain Studies class so she could recognize them by their voices. Yukari honed her ears for their voices and when she heard Mamoru loudly introducing herself to Dulga, Yukari came over. "Hello! Yozakura Yukari. I hope we work well together!"

Dulga Tarata

Dulga was resting her eyes as she waited for the rest of her time to arrive. Thinking of a plan. Trying to imagine what she’d be facing. There were a few particular students she wanted to keep an eye out on, but she couldn’t let herself get blindsided by the others either. Not to mention she had to worry about what her own teammates could do. Mamoru was a maverick, Kaida would be holding back, and she didn’t know what Yukari was capable of. There was little time to do any sort of complex planning, at best she can try to figure out what their quirks are and use them accordingly. By the time Mamoru arrived Dulga slowly opened her eyes and handed her the team communicators.

”You’re loud.”

Shortly after Mamoru, Yukari arrived. She seemed to be a melee type too, which is going to make things a bit tough for Dulga. She knew she couldn’t expect her team to just sit with her and snipe, and she wasn’t going to trust any of them with her weapons either. Dulga scratched her head and thought about waiting for Kaida to arrive before she showed up, but Dulga may as well fill in these two about what she had in mind. First she looked to Mamoru. ”Akasha, you’re with me. You use some sort of shield right? I could use someone who could protect me from ranged attacks.” Then Dulga looked to Yukari. That’s when she realized that Yukari was blind; her eyes had that misty look. She probably had heighten senses too, and Dulga doesn’t use a suppressor. Not wanting to bust her eardrums Dulga had an idea for Yukari. ”Yozakura, you’re with Kaida. I’ll need you to be swift and clear out any of the other students from cover or other protection. Lead them somewhere open and I’ll take them down. I don’t need you to fight them by yourself, and in fact if you think you’re going to get overwhelmed run for it. Try to lead them to somewhere I can pick them off.”

Dulga stepped away from the wall and walked towards the testing grounds. ”My plan is simple. We take the high ground. I snipe students from afar. Any who are hiding, flush them out. I’ll keep moving if they’re after me. We can take the point once we’re the last ones standing.” Perhaps it was overtly simple, but Dulga wasn’t going to make the plan any more complex. If it was, it could easily break. This left it flexible for them to adapt. Granted, they may not have the high ground if the place they’re fighting at is flat. But that’ll just make things easier for Dulga. ”Keep your wits about you and don’t do anything stupid. Stick together if you can.”

Radiance

"Ehehehe. You have pretttty hair, Minaaaa."

The tone of the conversation had changed drastically, and Mina noticed it instantaneously. The petite-yet-medium-height Mina bristled as the smaller girl got closer, and then not only touched her hair, but rubbed her face against it. Mina was frozen to the spot. With most things she did not expect, she could usually at least think up an appropriate reaction. To this, she had nothing. Sheer confusion and something resembling 'Horror of the unknown darkness' were showing on her face in equal measure. When Tomoe hugged her, she decided that this was a step too far and wriggled free of the girl's grip, or rather try to, having to pry Tomoe's arms open manually. Finally free, she backed away several paces, face flushed and wild-eyed. Mina wasn't even fully used to strangers not bowing, being formal and engaging in polite upper-class social etiquette with her. She was definitely not used to spontaneous snuggles.

"No, we may not trade! Also never do that again! That was...I don't even know what that was. A level of intimacy that I don't even share with family, let alone people I've just met! If you want soft hair, just use really good shampoo and conditioner once every three days!"

Akihito Yoshida

Yoshida sensei smirked for the first time as the students arrived at the training grounds, they seemed to look the part of a hero at least but now was not the time to let them get a boosted head. "Alright amateurs, the exercise for today will be king of the hill. As he pressed a button on his device, the two titan sized doors behind him opened up revealing a vibrant suburban environment, as air rushed through the gate the smell of grass permeated everyones nose. "I can't stress teamwork enough, in this exercise you will be placed into a suburban setting. It is good to know your way around such places, evil never has a set place or time. He then turned pressed another button on his device which brought up a Holographic Map.

"Each of the teams will start some ways out from the point circled on the map, this is the area where the action will happen. The Holographic map then zoomed in on a specific point. "This will be the area you are fighting to contest specifically. There are 4 ground entrances you can go through to enter the building as well as some risky entrances from the roof if you choose. Conditions for winning is showcasing dominant control over the building for 7 minutes and you will be graded on how you do and decisions you make. Soon a floating case appeared from the side, being carried by Yoshidas guardian. Inside had small walkies that could slip into your ear. Small enough to not be in the way and secure enough to not get misplaced in a fight.

"Will a team member from each team grab a communicator for their group

Isshin Ueda

Soon 5 angry Isshin clones came from around the gates of the training grounds rather angry. "Warn me next time you open those gate out of nowhere!" the group said before going back to the happy assistant teacher. "I will be leading you all to the designated started points, let us leave at once. Any strategies you may think of can be made on the way there, I will try not to move too fast."

Amane Kishimoto

Soon the sound of footsteps could be heard coming from the locker rooms, as the sunlight shown on the latecomer it was easily deflected into the eyes of the other students. Amane quietly made his way over to Yoshida sensei giving him a nod.

"Kenichi has some business to take care of so in his place here is a student from class 1-B. Amane Kishimoto, you will be apart of Team D consisting of Fumika Motome, Takeshi Yashiro, and Chiwa Hatori." Yoshida said gesturing over to team D. Amane nodded once more before taking a good look at the map. He didn't even bother grabbing the communicators for his team, the boy just simply stood idly as he awaited for Isshin to lead the way.

Ezra Jasekade

Ezra had been pretty inactive after his words. Whilst there was passion in his voice, his mind was focused on the task at hand and as a result he had been somewhat blank up until his teammate began talking. He had taken little notice of it, or of those around him. This would be a good thing for him as he would miss Tomoe's sequence with Mina given the rather weird nature of it. However, he would not miss Tomoe talking to him. As she did, he snapped out of his thought and began talking to her.

"Sure, but I'm not really sure how we'll get it to work. I guess we'll see what we can do once it starts." he spoke as he scratched the back of his head, as thought turned into more thought from her statement. His head was beginning to hurt from how much it was doing.

He was once again interrupted from his thought when he felt Tomoe's touch on his back, and a rather worried tone from her, telling him to protect her. The activity hadn't even started, and this was already how it was going. This was rather annoying, but when he had looked up, he saw that Jett had arrived. The team was here, and he recognised the costume from this morning. Figuring that trying to calm Tomoe down would probably be the best course of action, Ezra would turn and pat her on the head, before reassuring her.

"Don't worry. It's just Jett. Do keep ya wits about you though, he's very dangerous around women." he spoke before lifting his hand from her hair and turning toward the teacher as he came into the picture. He wasn't fond of Yoshida since his comments, but he listened attentively. He understood everything that was said, and that was enough for him. The communicator part was essential for him, and he knew who should have it.

"You're up Jett. If there's anything I trust ya with, it's weird techy shit like this." he spoke as he patted him on the back. Once a member of the team had taken the device, he'd take charge again.

"Should we go? I've already thought some stuff through, I'll fill ya in on the way there." he spoke as he waited for the response.

Jett smirked at Kasuke with an eyebrow raised when she freaked out over tomoe touching her. Giving him a few ideas on how to tease her in the future. After prying herself away from the even smaller girl, Tomoe turned her attention on him, and freaked out, running to Ezra for protection. He rolled his eyes.

I’m not going to kill you Tomoe! He said with some irritation. Crossing his arms across his chest Though It is annoying you don't even remember us going to school together less than a year ago.

It was just after this, Ezra mentioned it was only jett, like she knew who he was in the first place. Shaking his head at the idiot, he looked towards the teacher when he got started. He quickly memorized starting locations and entrances to the auditorium. When he offered communication devices he gave Ezra a queer look when he said he would trust him with techy shit. Shaking his head he went and grabbed three devices...as his helmet already had one built in. Once he got back he handed each of them their communicators starting with Kasuke, then Tomoe than Ezra.

Ezra then mentioned he had some ideas and would tell them on the way. Honestly he felt that his idea was ‘Bust down the doors and charge in head first.’

He then looked to the other two and then said, ” To be straight up with you all, my quirk hasn't actually been working since yesterday.” He shrugged, ”That doesn’t mean I’m worthless though... His hand dropping from his chest and resting over his .40. I’ve trained to use my quirk as little as possible anyway.

If we take this next test purely tactical, slow and steady, the others should wear themselves out enough, and if we use each others quirks to the best of their abilities, we should be able to have a good chance at beating this. We just don’t do what everyone will do, and rush in for the hill, and use our surroundings as best as we can to help us and our quirks. Also, if we cut the power to the auditorium we could have a major advantage if we waited for them all to be in there first.

Adriane Haven Manda Alengaurd

Adriane made her way towards the exercise, her combat boots hitting heavy on the slate floors. She was wearing her hero outfit, just a simple tank top which showed her heavily tattooed arms and elbow pads. Over that was her bulletproof vest, with straps that held pouches and ammo for her shotgun shells. She wore kevlar gloves and camo A sheath for her K-bar on her left thigh, empty, and a pistol holster on her right thigh, also empty. As she was forced to leave the weapons at the security post. Much to her own protest of course.

While she was grumbling to herself, another taller beautiful woman walked silently next her, her face emotionless unlike Adriane. She was dressed similar with pouches and a bullet proof vest, but with a long sleeved shirt rolled up to just under her elbows. She also had some metal plates for thigh guards and shin guards unlike Adriane. This woman was Manda, Adriane’s closest friend. She was more than that, she was her sister… even if it was clear they were not related.

The two came up on the class just as the teacher finished explaining the situation. Adriane’s fowl mood suddenly went away as she got excited, and admittedly worried seeing her son all dressed up and talking with his team. As they were about to be lead off, Manda tried to stop her by placing an hand on her arm but it did very little.

JETTY! Adriane yelled as she ran over to her son, ignoring the abnormally tall boy as she hugged her little boy. Manda came over just as Jett managed to pry himself from his mother, red in the face with embarrassment. Manda took this time to look at Jett’s teammates.

The little pink haired girl who was even smaller than Adriane, but not as small as Ashley…She seemed oddly out of place in a hero’s academy and apparently loved pink. Her gaze moved to Ezra, who was taller than her, than most boys in japan really. He was the only one without a real outfit, just going for a school issued Jumpsuit. She could tell the boy had a hard life just by looking at his face. Anyone who had one could easily see it in another. Now looking at the blonde girl who wore such a ridiculous outfit that hardly seemed suited for fighting. A full on dress? She knew this girl was the daughter of the Seductress. That was clear. She noticed how Jett had looked immediately to her when his mother embarrassed him, it was clear he liked this girl.

Mother? He said quietly. Glancing at Kasuke ”Why must you insist on calling me that infront of everyone?

”Because it’s my job to embarrass you. It’s what mothers do.” She said with a mischievous grin.

Jett then looked up to Manda “Manda? Mother dragged you here as well?”

Manda gave a hint of a smile and nodded, She moved forward and placed both of her surprisingly smooth and soft hands on his cheeks before kissing him gently on the forehead. Goodluck little one... Her voice silky and melodious.

Manda then pulled Adriane back and nodded to Jett as if to say get going. The two watched as the group followed the assistant teacher, both taking notice of a really tall green cloaked girl with a mask as well. They looked to each other with an odd look before moving to Yoshida.

Adriane sighed. “Alright Yoshida…. Where are we watching this from?”

Alot happened, from Jett getting his pants pulled down in front of her by another girl, which caused her to be beat red at the thought. She also found out what team she was on, and that they were able to use their costumes and gear. She was glad at that, she wouldn’t have to control as much of body as she normally did.

She quickly made her way to the locker rooms alone, trying to calm herself as she got nervous for her first REAL fight...well it’ training but she was sure all the other students would go all out. She decided to put some armor on this time, picking out her second outfit that had a breastplate shin guards and some arm guards , with a cute mini skirt and matching cape. She also wore a long sleeve shirt under it to hide her arms so she could transform partially without worry. She placed her sword on her hip and made her way to the meeting point, somehow being one of the last ones there. She came up behind Dulga and poked out from behind her.

Sorry I’m late...What's our plan again? She said sheepishly, before glancing over when hearing a woman yell Jetty, She glanced around the room till she noticed Jett’s blonde hair A woman with the same blonde hair and in a military getup and tattoos all over her arms came up and hugged him. While another woman kissed him on the forehead. Who were those people? Why was Jett embarrassed?

Tomoe Kishitmoto

Location
Gym
@Silver Carrot@Artymis@Aerandir

Tomoe had been a bit too attentive to Mina it seemed after Mina had freed herself from the pink haired girl in impolite fashion immediately giving a fierce sharp voice at Tomoe shortly after. Tomoe stagger back a few steps as her head tilted down in sorry manner letting a surprised gasp escape from her lips. She quietly shifted her hands between her legs as she heard the stern voice of Mina echo through her head. When Mina finally was done with her flattering reply towards Tomoe she softly spoke back at Mina as for an apology.

"S-sorry Mina-chan, I will keep recognition with your request next time."

Looking rather sad Tomoe shoveled her tiny feet out of the sight of Mina. Tomoe didn't feel like Mina would want to see Tomoe when she had done something extremely impolite to the poor blonde. Tomoe made sure of it that Ezra was in-between the two of them for now at least as she sulked just for a tiny bit longer so she got through the obstacle in her head.

It didn't take long for Tomoe to start another cheerful conversation with Ezra again, it did take a little bit of a depressed start but her engine was running again after a few quick seconds. Ezra decided that it would be fine for them to try once the event started. Tomoe had her doubts it would be fine to try it in a team based event for the first time but guess she would see about that once it started just like Ezra said.

From scariness she decided to hide behind Ezra where the boy had less view of her but was still marginally able to see her. Ezra told her to calm down, it was only Jett that was here. The name Jett did display and the comment that they went to the same school did show a few memories but nothing mayor, 'just' Jett was still scary to her appearing from that gun at his side. By this time Ezra had started petting the top of her head, generally surprising but it still felt good. With a still conspicuous look on her face and her hands balled up by her upper body she still didn't feel safe around this guy. Ezra told her she should be careful around him from the fact he was a great danger around woman. Her face showed a flash of surprised as she heard that line before freezing a stuck in a conspicuous glance towards the poor boy from behind Ezra his back.

Tomoe stepped away from Ezra his back as her eyes started feeling somewhat heavier. Ezra his hand was moved away from head head as she moved away and did a wide stretch with closed eyes while giving a deep long yawn. Tomoe rubbed one of her eyes as she looked back at Jett again now she was done yawning. She stepped a bit closer to him while her hands had dropped by her sides again. She had become a little bit serious feeling more curious to know who this person really was after claiming to have been in the same class before. Tomoe immediately lifted his shirt up with a quiet serious look on her face and placed both her somewhat warm hands on his belly. She closed her eyes for a moment to study the belly in concentration. She opened them again almost instantly and gave a short reassured nod.

"Hmm, yes. I have slept on this belly before. This is certainly a quite recent one, being last school year nurse office."

Tomoe gave a short giggle and trusted her head into his stomach. She moved her head violently around for a moment before wrapping her arms around his taille and giving him a soft hug with her face burred into his shirt. Tomoe looked up at his face while her chin was still resting on his chest, a bright smile was on her face.

"Do you like my brand new new hair style Jeeett. I didn't know you were here as welll."

She gave another giggle before moving her face to the side of his chest to take the hug in for a moment. She did miss him, it wasn't long since they last saw each other but it was someone she had interacted a lot with. His body has grown a bit over the time, she could feel it. Not with age but with training. He must have done a lot for it to get into the school as well.

After a while of not letting go of him she gave a tired sigh and let go of him again, her body felt heavy. Her lack of energy was certainly at play. She softly let go of Jett and moved back to Ezra his side again giving Mina a short glance to see if she was still as angry as she was before. The event had started, the teacher had started talking and explained the first thing which was that they were gonna play king of the hill in teams. The teacher rambled on but honestly Tomoe did not follow it from the lack of attention, this was the worst timing for her to feel like this. Holographic map, contest area beyond that wall, weird tech shit.

Tomoe her head dropped down till its stopping point while her eyes were closed. She fell asleep, Tomoe her head immediately jumped back into not sleeping position once she felt her eyes had gone shut. Bad, bad, bad. Her eyes opened wide for a moment but went back into their droopy state instantly. Jett handed her an ear piece which she immediately decided to put in for now. She caught something about Jett his quirk not working. That was a little handy to know, at least something from the many things she was suppose to hear from her team right now. He gave a short speech before Ezra told them to go to the starting point. Jett his relatives came by? She hadn't seem them before so decided to not give it any attention, from her short glance she did see one of the woman look weirdly at her. Was it her height? When they were about to walk off Tomoe softly tugged at the side of Ezra his school gym uniform as her droopy face stared up at him in drowsiness. A soft emotionless voice dragged out.

"Hey hey Ez, can you carry. I... feel *Yawn* really... Sweepy..."

Tomoe moved her head over to Ezra his side softly placing it against his arm as her eyes closed shut. She was still softly holding onto his uniform as she slowly drifted away from the world.

Kasuke Mina

Mina raised her eyebrow when Tomoe got physically close to Jett and said some uspect things, but after the way the small girl greeted her, and Jett's behaviour or lack of it, it was fair to say that's just how Tomoe was. She turned to Erza, a wry smile on her face. "I don't think Jett's as dangerous around girls as Tomoe is around boys. And girls."

Mina then noticed the two approaching figures of Adriane Haven and Manda Alengaurd, she was awestruck. Being such a fan of Heroes as a child, she'd naturally hard of them both. And because they were kickass tomboys, she idolized them almost as hard as her own mother. She had no idea Adrianne was Jett's mother, and was awestruck for the entire time that Adrianne and Manda were with them. When they left, she finally reclaimed her ability to speak, and the first thing she said, grinning at Jett, was "Jetty, huh?"

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi listened intently to the briefing from the teacher she did not fully recognize yet, though his voice was familiar. Though her ears were trained on the teachers words, her eyes were trained on the map. She was thinking. Her sidekick training had a module on tactics. Sometimes, a sidekick might be helping a hero with a strong quirk and a good heart with no brains. Hopefully her teammates didn't fall into that category.

When the briefing was over, Hitomi collected the communicator for her group.

Chiwa Hatori

Takeshi was surprised at the sudden outburst of Fumika of him putting his stuff down in Kenichi’s seat, so much so he pulled his stuff away from it. She promptly started apologising for her outburst, but despite that, it seemed like she didn’t want to back down; her normally emotionless eyes were wavering, like there was some sort of conflict within her.

Once she was done, he bowed his head. “My apologies. I didn’t know your friend was sitting there,” he said with a calm and collected voice. He thought it was cute as she tried to explain herself, and motioned to the chair behind her. “Is that chair okay to sit in, then?” he asked.

Fumika blinked, as if shocked that he’d actually let the matter go so easily, but didn’t object or say anything further. She simply nodded her head before looking away. Evidently, even somebody as sedate as her got embarrassed sometimes. Takeshi then looked to Chiwa and bowed his head, “Forgive me as well. I didn’t mean to say it incorrectly.”

Hatori let out a small huff. “It’s alright. It seems like we unfortunately might have to do this activity without Yoshida-san…” – she made sure to stress the honorific to refer to her classmate, not their teacher – ”So coordination is doubly more important. We can’t afford to lose a member.” Out of the corner of her eye as she spoke, Hatori noticed their group’s rather bizarre third member twitching rather abruptly upright at her words, her gaze slowly following this movement by rising from where it had been fixated on the floor, looking to her with what might have been disbelief, then panning slowly over the room before finally descending slowly to the floor with what might have been acceptance, or might have been dismay. The single tuft of hair sticking up from the top of her head parroted these motions in miniature, rising, pointing forward, sweeping out over the room, and then slowly drooping lifelessly back down amongst the rest of her bangs.

She stood up as their teacher commanded them to get their equipment and costumes at the gym before going to the training grounds. Hatori wasn’t one to fully judge off of people’s first impressions, but she already had concerns that this kind of teacher wasn’t going to be the one that would be particularly friendly; in fact, he sounded a bit condescending. She decided to just ignore it for now. ”Anyways, let’s get dressed first and then get hustling towards Bravo or whatever.”

“Oh… Okay,” mumbled Fumika. Compared to her earlier outburst, she sounded…dazed. Nevertheless, despite her momentary shock at the absence of the one person who, by the look of things, she’d been looking forward to working with, she quickly composed herself, stood, gathered her things, turned to face Hatori, and then… bowed her head in apology?

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have taken your seat,” She said quietly. She wasn’t stuttering anymore, evidently having recovered her composure, but there was something about the way she spoke all of a sudden that seemed odd somehow. It was as if her personality had undergone a complete 180 in a matter of seconds, and all the defiance and defensiveness she’d shown just a moment ago was simply… gone. While it was nice that she didn’t seem to be panicking anymore, it was uncanny how much she seemed like a different person… She wasn’t showing any expression on her face except a blank stare, so the other two might have just been imagining it, but was she perhaps taking the news of Yoshida’s absence rather poorly, or was she already over her disappointment and simply still ashamed of herself for her earlier obliviousness and the outburst that had followed? It was nearly impossible to tell.

Well...she’s weirder than I thought. Most Quirk users were unique in their own way, and throughout her childhood she had met different kinds of people, but Fumika was a first. Takeshi was simply a bit reserved and stoic. Fumika was different, simply not expressing any sort of outward emotion; when she did, it seemed to be in outbursts like the one they just experienced.

Takeshi had watched Fumika as she looked around the room for the boy who never came. There was of course her blank stare, but by the way she looked around the room, as the teacher began his lesson, while here face didn’t show dismay, just the blank stare… but her shoulders and head, along with the tuft of hair, odd as it was seemed to tell it’s own story. He decided to get up help distract her.

“Motome-san?” He asked as he got closer to her, on his way to the locker rooms. She didn’t respond, and for a moment, he thought she hadn’t heard him - except that she had tilted her head slightly and was peering at him over the rim of her glasses with that same blank expression. She didn’t say a word, but evidently, at least, he had her attention. Takeshi then looked at Hatori once more. “Hatori-san, as we are going to be partners...I was wondering what each of your Quirks are. So we could start formulating a plan,” He reached out discreetly with his left hand, pulling every shadow in the room towards him and created a small, simple shaped dagger in his hand. “I can create simple constructs from any shadow within twenty feet. The downside is, however, that I get too cold keeping them up for long periods of time.” As he spoke, out of the corner of his eye Takeshi noticed a red flash as something…no, as Fumika’s eyes abruptly changed hue and began to glow for a moment, before shifting in color once again to green.

“I...make things too,” The passive girl said cryptically, holding up her own hand as her hair shot bolt upright, the green hue of her eyes matched by the radiant halo and gleaming arrow that appeared within her bangs. That single antenna-like strand wobbled upward as in her hand, the same dagger that Takeshi held appeared. “It’s a copy. It isn’t always solid, though, and can’t go far away from me. I can do the same with anything I see, but it makes me sleepy.” She concluded what otherwise seemed like it might have been a lengthy explanation here, the image fading from her palm as her eyes returned to normal and her hair flopped back down with a quiet fluff.

––––––––––––––––––––

The locker rooms at the gym weren’t too far away from the main classrooms, simply being a short walk towards a large, rectangular building. A wide glass dome lay at the center of the structure. Hatori would like to look around the gym when she had the time, but they weren’t going to stay there for long, only going there briefly to change to their hero costumes.

She quietly observed the other two’s Quirks; one could control shadows, while the other could create projections. Hatori smirked and pulled out a single flashcard from her stack inside her sole breast pocket. Ugh...I dislike the uniforms already. Barely any pockets on the shirt...if I was wearing pants instead, it would be a lot more convenient. Hatori thought.

Hatori rapidly followed the crease lines she had already made beforehand, forming a simple plane in the matter of seconds. ”Well, that makes three of us. I can also make things. Paper planes, particularly,” she added as they entered the gym. It was rather spacious inside, with enough room to fit a court for various sports such as basketball, volleyball, or even soccer, with a track surrounding the court. It seemed like it was used for rainy days, where students won’t be able to use the outside track. There was also a second floor that went around the tall glass dome, filled with exercise bikes, treadmills, and various benches and poles and other machines to work on different muscles. It was basically everything a hero-in-training needed to work out. ”Once they start flying, I can control them as far as my sight can go. I can control numerous planes, and they can fly at high speeds – almost like real fighter planes.”

As they arrived at the locker room, Hatori unfolded the flashcard and put it back in her pocket. ”It’ll be a bit difficult to fly my planes in a confined space though, so maybe it’ll be better if you see it out on the training grounds. Anyways, we’ll have to part ways for now, Hatori continued as she walked towards the girl’s locker room on the right, beckoning Fumika to come along with her. ”I’ve got a good idea for what our plan will be, though.”

Takeshi listened and watched as they both explained their quirks, it was quite odd that there were three people who could ‘construct’ things were all together. Interesting though, It brought up a few different ideas of what they could do. But looking at both of them, he didn’t know how well they fought, and didn’t look like much as physical fighters. But he could be very wrong. Still, he would prefer if they were support behind him while he took on the hand to hand fighting. He still had no idea who the fourth member of their team was.

He nodded as they went to the girls locker room, he quickly went to his locker as well, He had worn this ‘costume’ plenty of times before and quickly put it on with ease. He walked out of the locker room sliding his double windsor knot up to his neck as he headed to the dorms quickly to pick up his gun,a 9mm. P226-Legion.

After quickly doing so, he made it to the armory to get a fair amount of magazines filled with rubber bullets and mace filled bullets as well. He also picked up a katana then headed out to where they were supposed to meet, already having cleared the gun safety course for Arsenal before school started.

The other girl watched curiously as she explained her quirk, but didn’t comment. Actually, although it was almost impossible to say for sure, there were a few times where her eyes began to look more focused and she opened her mouth ever so slightly, as if she was about to say something. But each and every time she did so, she immediately checked herself and went right back to just listening in silence. She didn’t seem like she was intimidated anymore, though, so then why exactly was she being so reticent? “Okay,” Fumika assented quietly. Well, at least she was paying attention.

In any case, she kept up the pace, following Hatori into the locker room and beginning to look around curiously. Her eyes flashed red for a moment, and then suddenly, with new direction, she immediately walked over to a very specific locker and withdrew what appeared to be a white and hot pink jumper. Then she… hastily retreated into a bathroom stall to hide while she changed? Maybe she was just overly self-conscious after all.

Hatori looked away from Fumika once she finished her short explanation, searching for her locker; the girls’ locker room wasn’t particularly big, with only three aisles of lockers and each aisle having two rows. Each locker was a little less than a meter tall, though there were small slabs near the edge of the lockers so the top row could be reached. There was some distance between each aisle, enough to fit a long bench.

Since their classroom happened to be majorly girls, there were several girls already finished changing into their costumes. Fumika left for the bathroom stall as Hatori pulled out her costume. She sure is a strange girl. Maybe she doesn’t like changing in public? she thought. But Hatori didn’t really have much time to care about her; she hastily opened the guard paddings to check if her paper were ready to use, and put on her jacket before her elbow, knee, and shin-guards. Finally, she wrapped the tubing into her jacket, setting her oxygen mask right below her neck, and wore her helmet, visor up.
With only less than five minutes left, Hatori didn’t really have the time to talk to Fumika, though it would have been pretty terrible of her if she abandoned her in the bathroom to do the activity herself. She rushed to the bathroom, adjusting her costume along the way. ”We gotta go soon, Fumika. Meet you at the training grounds.”

Hatori headed to the armory, where plenty of military-grade devices and equipment lay ready for them to use. She shook a little – she knew that pro heroes would have access to these kind of equipment in their line of duty, but she had never even touched those kind of devices in her life. The girl grumbled; with little to no knowledge with military equipment, she was more likely to hurt herself from misuse.

She grabbed the essential team communicator first; upon closer observation, it was also a locator beacon, with a button marked SOS in the back with a lock button right below it. She also grabbed a flashlight. While searching through the armory inventory, she also found a few flares, though interestingly enough, they were remote controlled. She thought for a bit before grabbing the flares, and finally the smoke grenades. Hatori didn’t want to encumber herself too much, as she was already carrying plenty of paper on her already.

––––––––––––––––––––

Arriving at the training grounds barely on time for the activity, Hatori quickly looked around for Takeshi and Fumika, who should have hopefully finished changing into her costume by now.

It didn’t take long to find her. Off to one side of the other assembled figures was a tall, brightly colored silhouette. Her costume was rather simplistic - a padded thigh-length romper done in bright hues of white and pink, paired with tall stockings and a few odd bands and buckles around each leg. However, apart from her team communicator strapped to one leg, she didn’t seem to have carried anything with her, and she hadn’t really spent any significant period of time in the armory. Maybe she’d been too overwhelmed by the various different weapons and gadgets available and decided to play it safe? The only real “weapon” she seemed to have was the puffed-out sleeves of the garment she wore, in which her hands seemed to disappear and which, upon a closer look, seemed almost to resemble boxing gloves. Her suit’s high collar was zipped up completely, covering her mouth and chin in their entirety, along with most of her nose. Two bright blue eyes peered out from between this tall “mask” and the drooping curtains of blonde hair that framed them, wandering aimlessly over the assembled group before her head sank slightly in what might have been disappointment, the locks of hair atop her head mimicking this motion completely. Reaching up, she tugged on a thick, shaded visor and pulled it down over her eyes, at which point her face was covered completely.

A moment later, however, she twitched slightly in what might have been a start of surprise or recognition - although whether she was looking at Hatori or not was hard to say, as her eyes were completely hidden behind her thick visor along with the rest of her face. Nevertheless, a moment later, she began awkwardly shuffling her way around the edge of the assembled group of students, over to where Hatori was standing.

“Sorry,” She apologized quietly, although for what wasn’t immediately clear. “I was slow.” It was an odd thing to say, considering that she’d been there before Hatori had even arrived. Maybe she’d mistaken Hatori’s call to her while she was changing as an exhortation to hurry up?

Takeshi quickly found his group, it helped that one of his companions had long blonde hair to look for. He inspected the two in their uniforms, Hatori basing her design heavily on her quirk as a fighter pilot. An interesting choice to say the least, not a lot of protection but a defining look. He did find it odd that she had an oxygen mask, while he wondered if it was to hide her identity and be aesthetically pleasing, or if it truly was functional.

Motome’s costume was definitely flashy as well to him, though she did wear it well in his opinion. He did note there wasn’t much protection as well, as it was more for style. It was completely not what he expected from the odd girl and wondered what her normal everyday attire was and if it was similar to this.

In comparison to theirs, outwardly it looked like he didn't have any protection as well. But his design had his trench coat that was kevlar, so thicker than normal coats but only to the trained eye. His dress pants and black shirt and tie were also made of a more durable cut resistant fabric, but again looked completely normal. The only odd part of his outfit was the red belt around his waist and the boken attached to it. He truly wished that he was allowed to use his katana, as others had some deadly weapons as their own quirks so it seemed unfair, but at least he had his Sig on his thigh, hidden under his coat. His true ‘costume’ was under his clothes, A specially designed Carbon steel body armor and shoulder guards and bracers. Along with Kevlar gloves. Hidden extremely well by his normal attire.

He didn’t get to say much as the teacher started, but he simply nodded and smiled at his partners. He did see their fourth member of their team and instantly got a bad feeling from the other student. He knew he would really have to work with Hatori and Motome even more as he got that feeling from Amame that he was not in the slightest bit interested in his group. After they were done, he glanced at Hatori and asked, So what was your idea you said you had earlier?”

Hatori make sure to follow another one of their teacher’s clones; compared to their homeroom teacher, he appeared a bit more child-like in appearance, to say the least. Evidently, his Quirk allowed him to clone himself, though she would have to learn more about him and his Quirk later on. She also took a short glance at the final classmate they were paired up with, already clad in his hero costume which made him look like a white knight, though the silence from him and his distance from the three didn’t give her the best impression.

”It’s simple. Why should we try to jump onto this point right away? The only condition for victory is staying on the point for some minutes, but surely there would be plenty of competition...and action,” Hatori explained. She went ahead and grabbed the communicators and shared them to Fumi and Takeshi, keeping one for herself, and holding another for the newcomer. ”I say we wait it out near the point. There’s a good vantage point across the road north of where the control point is. I can send out my planes there, and when some of the opposing team members get wiped out, we all ambush the remaining ones. As long as we focus and eliminate them one by one, we can take the point for ourselves.”

She walked towards Amane as she finished, extending her hand towards him with the communicator for him to grab.

As each of the groups advanced through the training ground they would be able to get a glimpse of the soon to be battlefield. The first eyecatcher is the vegetation, the grounds where surprisingly heavily wooded in someparts while in other parts much more domesticated. There were also homes situated on the street. An Ambush could come from just about any position in this ground as there were ample hiding spots. THe grounds was also full of natural obstacles, light swamps, woods, and lakes were sufficient. These would mostly effect those without the proper tools to get by.

Amane Kishimoto

Prior to leaving towards Team D's starting area, one of his teammates offered him a communicator in which he abruptly held up his hand to. At this point was Isshin and the group embarked. The armor clad boy took his leave giving off his impression to the rest of the team. As the group walked in an awkward formation Amane took a quick glance back identifying the rest of the members this lasted about a few seconds. This was the only glance he took at the others until they reached the others, supposedly one wielded a weapon. The two ladies must have had some ablility related to their costume. Naturally, the boy took his distance he would keep an eye on his teammates from afar and deem their worth when the time is right. On his lower back you could see a collapsible Bo staff, in place of his regualar retractable staff due to safety hazards.

Solar Sentinal

Roy smiled as the Yoshida Sensei began the debriefing, a smile appearing under his tinted mask. The area they were to battle in was a big difference for the young boy. Open and full of sunlight, he would be able to push his limit in this exercise and make up for his blunder. He gripped his hands and began shaking with glee. This was broken at the thought of paying Jett back for his little prank, the blonde boy seemed to calm himself down for the rest of the explanation. On the map it seemed as though Team C was would be starting from an heavily wooded area. He did not have a problem with this as he could just cut things down with a construct, what got to him was the bodies of water. As Isshin signaled for them to head off he was about to take off before realizing Hitomi returning with a handful of communicators. The boy nodded thanking the sheep girl before placing the communicator on the inside of his helmet.

"Hello hello, Come in team Charlie, over." Roy goofed around with tuning the commincator as he followed behind Isshin. He turned back over to his team "What can you do Jojo, and also what is the gameplan"

Akihito Yoshida

After debriefing the students he turned over to his guest, or should he now say guests, "Good evening, Mrs.Haven and Miss Alenguard, let us settle in the watch tower as we oversee the exercise. Yoshida signaled toward a building next to the large gates, specifaclly a door. The instructor used his guardian to open it leading the two woman inside into a building with a view large enough to spectate as far as the eye can see. As Yoshida settled in to the control chair he began bringing up video recordings of each of the teams as the made route to their starting areas. "Isshin will also be the ref for this exercise, his ability to cover multiple areas at once with precision is a nice asset."

Sarge

Sarge just smirked, he wanted to ask a personal question but held his breath, "Well proposing a test like to a rambuctious group of kids is a good idea... the place you asked it was bad. Your classroom was pretty trashed, I saw the tile on your floor broken." The large man said with a chuckle. "I hope you are more wary next time, those group of kids are blood thirsty you know. If you tell them to hit something they won't ask any questions."

Ezra Jasekade

Ezra listened to what Jett had to say. It made sense. The kid wasn't dumb, he definitely had insightful knowledge. However, he didn't like the approach. Whilst he didn't exactly plan to go in and let them get worn out, Ezra had other plans. He'd speak up about this once everyone was finished, but he would listen for now and be intrigued. It turned out that Jett didn't have his quirk, which was a major blow. Whilst he did go toe for toe with Ezra(even though he wasn't using his quirk either), it still wasn't optimal. It put them at a disadvantage, and that wasn't ideal for them in an exercise like this which required multiple parts working at high efficiency to secure a victory.

It was around this part that his mother came. Ezra did all he could to hold himself back from laughter. That was, until another woman locked eyes with him. A beautiful woman, albeit older than him accompanying the mother of Jett. He had no idea who she was, but she could tell that they did not share blood regardless of how close they were. For a brief instant, it felt as if he connected with her and he could tell that they were one of the same as he gave a slight nod of recognition before moving on. He forgot, that it was almost time for Tomoe's antics.

She'd already had an entire sequence with the others before he could blink. He had no idea what was wrong with this girl, but she had lifted Jett's shirt up and put her head against his stomach. He put his hand over his face not out of embarrassment but out of disbelief that this much comedy could surround him every day. It was quite a spectacle as she went along in typical Tomoe fashion, doing things her own way. He kind of respected it and at the same time was weirded out, but it didn't matter. What mattered was that she was about to fall asleep right before a match. Realising quickly that this might be a good thing for them, decided to fulfil her request.

"Make sure you use your quirk once the thing starts. I don't want a 3 person team, Tomoe." he spoke as he picked her up as if she was a baby. She was exceptionally light, and weighed less than a few of his younger relatives. It wouldn't be an issue in the short term, but even he had a limit to as much extra weight he could carry around and it would definitely test his stamina.

"Alright, I doubt Tomoe was going to listen anyway, but I partially agree with Jett's plan. Letting themselvves wear each other out is a good idea, but we should incorporate some strategy into this. I don't exactly know about Tomoe, but us 3 are all pretty fast, even Jett without his quirk is up there in speed. What we could do is hit and run attacks, and use some of our equipment to get people out the way and trap em'. Sitting there idly won't do, since we need to have momentum in this." he spoke as he began walking out with Isshin. He awaited his teammates.

Aegis

"Sounds like a plan friend!" Mamoru said loudly after Dulga finished explaining what they were going to do. Normally Mamoru liked to take a more active part of activities, but Dulga seemed to know what she was doing, so Mamoru would do as she said. She just hoped that she would get to do something aside from stand around watching Dulga's back. Part of her was even hoping that maybe they get spotted and everyone would try to swarm Dulga and Mamoru, though she's aware how bad of a situation that'd be. Well, for Dulga at least. For Mamoru that would be a dream come true. She's always wanted to see if she could pull off a "Last Stand" sort of ordeal and come out on top. She was not ignorant of the high possibility that she'd lose, quickly at that. But every defeat was a learning experience.

As Mamoru was hyping herself up Kaida appeared behind Dulga. Mamoru waved at her. "Hai! Wow, feels like weeks since I last saw you Kaida! Dulga wants you with Yukari-chan while I stick with Dulga-chan. Dulga-chan is gunna shoot everyone while you and Yukari-chan flush out anyone behind cover. But we stick close together! Not really sure where we'll be but Dulga wants the high ground. Should be easy peazy! Oh, by the way!" Mamoru leaned forward to look at Kaida. "What is your quirk? It must be something like super strength. You tossed me around your room as easily as Dulga-chan did! I can make a shield," Mamoru proceeded to manifest her Aegis into her hand, then handed it off to Kaida. "Which I can always summon to my hand, but only one at a time. Still I can loan it out if you need it and I'm close by! With my shield I'll be protecting Dulga-chan, but I'll do my best to protect everyone!"

Mamoru also looked to Yukari, thought she had a vague idea of what Yukari's quirk was. When she was tossed, she noticed Yukari's arms stretch a little, kind of like a slingshot, so she guessed some sort of elastic power. Still couldn't hurt to ask. "What about you Yukari-chan? You tossed me pretty good yesterday too. In fact, seems like I'm in a team of strong girls! It's like a dream come true. I hope I can match up!"

JoJo

JoJo’s body tightened and loosened up repeatedly generating a small current of electricity that added to what she had already stockpiled before coming here as well as what she had from last night. Observing the map and knowing the name of the game king of the hill a favorite of her father who, while being quirkless still managed to win every time. Once the explanation was over she turned her attention to her new suit feeling the flowing current through her body being much faster just from her muscles tightening up repeatedly yielded a good amount of power when normally she wouldn’t get any. The flow from the crown of her head down to her toes surged with such ferocity from being trapped, she felt as if she could knock down a whole building if she wanted. The only real problem was the gloves and shoes because they were made of the same material as the suit they kept the energy from escaping the surface of her skin they only stopped her from using her new found long ranged attacks. JoJo only stopped the thought process to look up at one of her teammates gave her a communicator while the other inquired about her quirk.

“Essentially, my body is a natural electricity generator the more I move the overall better my physical abilities” she explained “Although, because of the way I grew up I had no real way to learn about my quirk and I’m just learning I can do long range attacks” she continued "I can also absorb energy and convert it to electricity"

Dulga Tarata

As Dulga waited for Kaida to arrive she heard some shouting from another group. Glancing over Dulga noticed Jett and someone who was apparently his mother talking to him. Dulga narrowed her eyes at the two and was familiar with them. Dulga didn't often keep up with all the heroes in the world, baring a few favorites, but she somewhat recognized the two as gun-toting heroines. However Dulga didn't remember many details beyond that. Her mind was too focused on the task at hand to be curious about other people's families. Soon Kaida arrived asking for what she had missed, which Mamoru had summarized. "Something like that. Me and Akasha as a pair, you and Yozakura as another. From what I've noticed most of the others here don't have the same level of range capability as me. I will keep my distance and gun down anyone in my sights. So I'll need you two to make sure they aren't behind any cover." Dulga didn't feel like she needed to emphasis her teammates being careful. Hopefully they had common sense to play it safe like she was. She didn't care for glory, only results.

When Mamoru asked about everyone's quirks Dulga gave Kaida a quick glance. She knew that Kaida was secretive about her quirk, and Dulga only had a vague idea of what it is herself. Wings, scales, claws, fire resistance Kaida was either a demon or a dragon. Understandable something like that may not be something Kaida wants as public knowledge, so Dulga quickly stepped in. "Walk and talk. We've been standing around here for long enough. Besides that trust that Kaida and Yozakura can take care of themselves, Akasha. You and I need to have some words about our tactics." Dulga gave the pinkette a stern glare. Knowing what Mamoru pulled off yesterday, Dulga wanted to keep her teammate close to minimize any collateral damage. Dulga may have been the type who'd favor pragmatic strategies like laying trap or ambushes, but she won't tolerate any excessive plans that'll endanger not just Mamoru's opponents, but possibly her own teammates.

Kaida looked at Mamoru and smiled. She nodded as she listened to the plan that she reiterated, seemed simple but also a solid plan. Dulga piped in to clarify where she would be and what she expected. She nodded once again and looked back to Mamrou as she leaned forward towards her. Causing Kaida to pull back just slightly especially when she asked what her quirk was.

Her face flushed as she realized she had to come up with an answer. Her eyes meeting with Dulga as she looked at her at the same time. Mamoru continued to explain what her quirk was, handing the shield that she manifested to her. She could feel the weight to it but it didn’t affect her as she hefted it around. Dulga then said walk and talk, trying to change teh subject. She smiled at this but knew she had to give them something.
Thank you, but I’m pretty durable as it is… She said when she flushed a little more. She didn’t want to say her scales were probably stronger than her shield. But yes, I have super strength, I can take a beating and I can’t be hurt by fire... It seemed like an odd one, but she knew that with her holding Roy’s constructs or hugging Sensei Hai, it will quickly get out. I’m also pretty adept with a sword…” She added as she pulled her sword from her sheath.

She glanced at Yukari It willl be fun working with you all. She didn’t know how this girl was going to fight blind but she made it here somehow. So she must be able to fight pretty good.

I just hope I don’t have to fight Jett… She blushed when she realized she said that out loud. She quickly added. “ I mean… he seems pretty dangerous with his costume... She poked two of her fingers together while she held her sword, point down in a reversed grip.

Mr.Hisakawa
Ruby Mamoru

Enclosed in his office, Mr.Hisakawa had been shuffling through student forms and reviewing their skills. There has been a few transfer students who had quite the interesting quirk that is certainly fit for heroing. The principal tapped his foot looking at his watch seeing it was about 8 o’ clock. The reminder that class the hot blooded class 1-A would be having another exercise again made his smirk a bit. Another opportunity to see what the class is capable of and another chance to test some freshman who did not quite make it in the entrance exams. The old man opened his drawer and pulled out a turquoise binder, upon opening it on the front page was a student info sheet with a small picture in the upper right corner. As he slid the paper out he chuckled to himself.

“Let's see what you are capable of Ms.Mamoru”

At the same time, in a different part of the building, the class of those that tried their best but did not quite make it into the hero course, the general education class, assembled in their own room already prepared to face another day at the academy. While being part of this class, or rather, being accepted into this class meant no shame at all, a particular student, Ruby Mamoru, was more than disappointed with the position she was in. After all it was the hero course which she so desperately wanted to become a part of. She couldn’t explain to herself why she failed, she just didn’t understand how she managed to fail the entrance exam which she had prepared for so much. Thus there she was, in the back of the class, staring out of the window. The only reason why she applied for general education was that she knew that in some rare occasions, exceptional students were allowed to move up into hero course. This was the last bit of hope she could hold on to, and the girl with the feline features surely wouldn’t let this small chance escape her grasp.

Arising from his seat, Mr.Hisawkawa read the homeroom of the student in which he was on his way to retrieve.

“Class 1-C” he said under his breath, Ruby Mamoru had failed the exam. It's not so much as that she did not deserve the pass more so that the task did not fit her skill set as nicely as the other candidates. As he arrived at the classroom he placed the paper back in the turquoise binder and opened the door.

“Sorry to intrude but I hope you don't mind if I steal Ruby Mamoru?” the man said with a jolly smile as he scanned the room for his target. Finally he had found her in the back of the classroom, once he saw her he didn't break eye contact.

Without any warning, even though the class was just about to begin, someone that could potentially change Ruby’s future entirely. At first the girl did not pay much attention, thinking it was just another student that was maybe a little too late. However, when she second guessed that thought, knowing that everyone was there and heard her own name, her feline ears perked up and she looked at the man who was already focusing on her. It was the principle himself! Gravity Yarl! She had heard many stories about this hero before, but seeing him in person again is quite a sight. Ruby herself didn’t reply to what the principle said, after all it was the teacher who would have to let Ruby go out of the room. The girl herself never broke eye-contact with Mr.Hisakawa, she was too intrigued by this man to back down. While there could be many reasons as to why he would call her out quickly, for now Ruby only thought it would be something small, something trivial. Surely it would not that important...

The teacher looked at Mr.Hisakawa a little confused, finally moving his lips. “Y-Ye-Yeah that's fine go ahead” with a hint of nervousness in his voice. Upon the green light the principal signaled for the girl to come along.

“Gather your belongings Ms.Mamoru and we shall be off”

Ruby was a bit surprised as she heard the principle tell her to ‘gather her belongings’, but without questioning it much she moved the few things she had on her table back into her bag and then stood up. Of course, now she was a little bit nervous about what he had to say to her. In any case, having the principle himself take her out of the class like that, with her bag and everything meant serious business and Ruby was well aware of that. However, she also knew that she had to make a great impression. Therefore she quickly stood up, her tail swaying slightly from left to right and showing her true mood, Ruby bowed slightly to the teacher and said “Excuse me please.” Before she walked through the door and followed the principle wherever he would head to. A rather neutral impression was implanted on her face as she did so.

He kept his smile as the young lady packed her things and followed him. “You must be wondering why exactly I might've pulled you from class so early, I have a simple question for you” the principal stopped and pivoted his body towards the girl.

“What does being a hero mean to you exactly?”
Indeed, Ruby was wondering why the principle had pulled her early from class. After all it must be quite the important reason! Thus, when they stopped, Ruby turned her body to face the pro hero and looked him into his eyes as he asked the question. A hero? This was a tough question. After all, the reason why the girl aspired to become one was because of her parents. But of course, her parents have told her many many times about how awesome it is to become a hero and what a great honor it would be. Therefore she was sure she could answer this question well.

“A hero…should always protect those in need. It is not about beating up villains everyday, it is about helping others. Being a pro hero… is a great honor. That is why I enrolled at this academy.” and with that Ruby pushed her chest forward confidently.
“A hero is the embodiment of everything good in this world. A true hero does what is right and doesn’t take what he has for granted. Simply put… a hero needs to be truly heroic!”

As the girl gave her explanation the principal smirked, once she was finished he began chuckling and turn around. “It is a great honor yes, but with that comes a great responsibility. The decisions you make leaves a lasting effect on the population whether they are good or bad” the man said wagging his finger.

“I like your answer and attitude so I have a proposition for you. But I might already know what you will say… class 1-A are about to conduct a training exercise. Showcase what you have to offer and I’ll consider a transfer, some of class 1-A may have already seen what you have to offer already.” It was quite the sight, he didn't even ask her if she was still interested in being a hero but she had her answer ready.

“If you want to shoot your shot head over change out into your gym uniform and make your way over to training grounds beta, if you need some gear then Arsenal can assist you with that, he is in the gym.” The man glanced at his watch, “if you leave right now for the exercise you can just make it before it starts” the man said with a smirk.

“Now what choice shall you make”

By the time the principle had asked that question, Ruby was almost already on the run. This was the rarest of all opportunities, a direct chance given by the principle himself! The girl knew she had no time to waste at all. As she had already turned her body and began to run towards the nearest staircase, she quickly shouted back “Thank you so much! I will not disappoint you!” the feline girl said with a confident voice. When the principle made the proposition that she was allowed to prove herself, Ruby’s eyes had opened quite widely in shock. However, now there was no time to slack. Such a chance… she was sure to take it.

As fast as she could the girl ran down the path towards the gym. This was the moment she could truly prove herself, this exercise was sure to show her true skills as a hero!

Inside of the gym Ruby immediately asked for a gym uniform. Since she was not part of the hero course, Ruby was not allowed to have a costume yet, or rather they did not make one yet. Furthermore, when talking to Arsenal however, she learned that the sword she had ordered while signing up had arrived. The sword itself had a sharp blade, however the blade itself was rather wide so the other side could be used as a blunt weapon too. At the end of the sword’s handle, a rather long 10 feet long and 4 inch wide piece of cloth was secured tightly and wrapped around it, ready to be released similarly to a cape at any chance. (For reference, check the character picture in the CS tab where she holds out her sword). On top of that Ruby furthermore asked for a cloak, one that was able to cover her whole body and naturally included a hood too for her head.

Once she received her equipment, Ruby secured sword behind her back knowing full-well that with her own sword she could give her best. After all, there was no way she would be giving any less than 100% during this ominous “exercise”. Even though her cloak was improvised compared to the costume she wished for, together with her sword she felt comfortable and capable. After all, adaptability and feeling confident is an aspect that every hero needed to have! Furthermore, Ruby dressed herself in the brown-ish cloak, it was at least some substitute for her costume. Once she had secured everything tightly, the catgirl thanked Arsenal and then continued her way her destination.

“Beta…. Beta…. Where is beta!”

Ms.Mamoru sighed out in frustration until she finally discovered where her location was. As if stung by a bee she started her quick pace again, arriving shortly at her destination. Deep down inside of her Ruby prayed that she would make it in time, collecting her gear took some time after all.

The old man just laughed to himself as the young lady took off. “Ahh, the burning youth is quite a sight to see.” In the meantime while ruby prepared, Mr.Hisakawa took care of the things behind the scenes by giving Mr.Yoshida a heads up on the new challenger. He briefly spoke with L guardian while he made his way over to training ground Beta to meet up with Ms.Mamoru and instruct her on the exercise as well as her teammates.

Soon enough she would arrive at the gate to the arena, just slightly out of breath as her eyes spotted the principle. Her makeshift costume sure looked weird, a cloak that covered her whole body together with a hood and that weird-looking sword with the cloth at the end. Once she had arrived, the girl was quick to spot the same person who had sent her here: the principle.

“Mr. Hisakawa!”
The catgirl said while standing in front of the pro hero. “I am ready now. Ready to take my chance.” She didn’t wear her hood currently, it was following down on her back. Since this cloak wasn’t specifically made for her it didn’t consider her cat-ears which is why it was rather uncomfy to wear.

The principal has his hands on his hips with a smirk. He felt rather bad he didn't get ruby sooner, “Sorry for not informing you sooner, if I did you wouldn't have had to rush” the man said scratching his cheek. “Anywho, the exercise you will take part in today is a game called king of the hill. 5 teams will battle to secure one point. The team you are on is team C with a few other transfers as well.” Mr.Hisakawa pulled up a map of the training grounds on his own multipurpose device to show the young lady.

“They only left a couple minutes ago so you should be able to catch up in no time, it seems as though team C’s starting area is not too far off. Are you ready to go?” The man said as a black and purple ball of energy began floating around the two.

Very carefully she listened to his explanation, her ears were twitching every now and then. When he was done she was still looking at the map, trying to remember everything significant that she could spot there. After a short moment, once she realized that he was about to get her inside, she quickly looked him back into his eyes.

“How do I win? When is the point… secured?”

“The point is secured and won when your team is either the last one standing or has asserted dominance over the point longer than the other teams when time runs out” as he spoke the two began to feel weightless as gravity was reversed, they were soon floating a few feet above the ground.

With a rather absent look Ruby stared on the floor for a second. “Last team standing huh…”
She murmured to herself before both began floating off the ground. The feeling was both unique and weird, but Ruby was too busy being amazed over being shocked. While she wasn’t saying it out loud, she was thinking ‘Gravity Yarl… a pro hero… it is quite amazing’.

However, once she had regained her train of thoughts the student looked right back at her principle with a typical determined expression. “I am ready to prove myself worthy to be in the hero course Mr. Hiwakawa!” she said right into his face. It was the passion inside her that was speaking in her place, it was as if a fire had lit up inside of her body, one that was ready to fulfill her wish and that of her parents, one that would not rest until she had accomplished her goal. Finally, after failing the exam initially, she had a new perspective! A new opportunity! Her tail was swaying wildly below the cloak out of sheer happiness.

Mr.Hisakawa smiled, “Alright then off we go to meetup with Team C” he said as the two begin moving forward at a steady yet speedy pace. They would reached their mark in about a minute and 30. As they flew they could see the lush greenness and smell the fresh air that was home to training ground Beta. Soon the group of four would come into view. “This seems like your stop, those are your teammates right over there” he said with a smirk as his speed began to slow down as the two began to lower onto the ground. Mr.Hisakawa lowers the young lady softly before taking his leave. “Good luck to you all Ms.Mamoru and Team C, I will be watching” the man waved before flying off.

Ruby nodded to the principle one last time and then turned towards her team. She took her time to inspect each member, and surely enough; just looking at them showed Ruby that she was now playing in an entirely different league. As she approached them Ruby bowed down formally, her tail staying still beneath the coat while her ears were perked up in attention.

Yukari Yozakura

Yukari appeared to have just been staring off into the distance as the others spoke, a slight smile on her face. But she wasn’t dozing off; she was listening in on the other students from the other teams around her, at least the ones who remained in the area. Honing her ears sharply she was picking up on whatever tidbits of info she could get from the others, such as their quirks, plans, or even just names. ”My quirk lets me do this,” Yukari demonstrated her quirk, stretching her arms, neck, face, legs, and even body an extremely long distance. She could get one of her arms to go up to twenty feet. ”Very flexible, and I can get in and out of anything even a mouse couldn’t fit. Flushing out the others would be a cinch for me; there’s nowhere they could hide that I can’t get to. And don’t let my conditions fool you; I don’t need to see you to know where you are or what you’re about to do. If anything, I’d work best in conditions that don’t rely on sight, like in darkness or heavy smoke.”

As the group started moving Yukari turned towards Kaida. Her stride and footsteps were different from Dulga or Mamoru’s, so hearing her was easy. Plus she had a very unique scent. ”It’ll be a pleasure working with you, Kaida-san. I’m actually a bit familiar with Jett’s fighting style. I’ve trained with him before, so I have some idea of what he can do even without his quirk.” Yukari had fond memories of her training with Jett when she had ran away from the circus. She wasn’t a good fighter back then, even with her agility and flexibility. But she’s changed a lot since she first started, and while she had a lot to improve, she hoped to show him and everyone else that she isn’t delicate.

”Who do you all think we should try to go after first? Everyone may be trying to run to the central point, but I think it’d be best if we tried to get the first hit in. We won’t win if we just fight defensively.”

Aegis

"Oooooh! You guys are strong! So cool!" Mamoru was even more hyped now. She had been somewhat worried that she might have to carry her team to victory, but everyone seemed strong. Kaida was tough, immune to fire, and a sword fighter. Mamoru has no idea what her quick is specifically but if she had to guess Kaida was probably able to turn her skin into some sort of heat resistant material, like stone or something. Yukari also showed her power to Mamoru, which she was right: Yukari did have elastic powers. She's read some comics about rubber heroes and despite how silly they looked they were Grade-A badasses, more so since they typically had immunity towards blunt attacks like punching. Yukari also had super senses apparently, so she'd be the best to hunt down any sneaky student.

As they walked Kaida mentioned not wanting to fight Jett while Yukari asked who they should go after first. Mamoru perked up at this strategy meeting. "Hmm~ How about Team D? They have some heavy hitters there, like Fumika and Kenichi. That Takeshi fellow too, I think he's a swordsman like Kaida. And I think someone else who I don't remember seeing. Transfer student maybe?" Mamoru only chose Team D because they had Kenichi, who Mamoru was pretty certain he'd try to go ahead of the team and take the point on his own like last time. That'd leave them to fight the rest of Team D with their four, which Mamoru felt was an even fight. Though the fourth person was someone Mamoru didn't know anything about so who knows what he'll do.

Dulga also wanted to talk to Mamoru about tactics, but Mamoru wasn't really the type of person to worry about stuff like that. She follows her gut, and that usually works out for the better. Still Dulga seemed to be the boss so Mamoru bounced up to the tall girl. "So! You wanted to talk tactics with me, Dulga-chan? Oh, lemme guess," Mamoru leaned in close and whispered quietly. "You actually want me to go on some top secret mission to take on another team myself, right? I know, I was pretty instrumental in keeping Point C in yesterday's battle. Give me time and a bit of luck and I could probably take on an entire gang myself!" Mamoru was pretty full of it but she was half-expecting Dulga to actually try and send Mamoru away from the team. She understood, somewhat, that she might be a bit dangerous around others, though Mamoru hopes she could fight alongside her allies.
