For a crossover, the better type of antagonist is one that's going to cause problems for the PC's without being untouchable and impossible to interact with--because then they're just a series of random events--and whose problems aren't literally just "them". So they should be setting things in motion.

So I may or may not be mildly interested in this and after looking over the last page or two of OOC, I see that there is an issue with people wanting there to be an antagonist PC vs not wanting one for various reasons.

I'd like to offer myself to play the role of such a character, namely Settra the Imperishable from Warhammer Fantasy as from what I understood of the OP, it did say any franchise. He's strong enough to be a threat and often does go out and do things personally but he also has more or less an infinite number of mooks he could summon for people to cut through and have their little mary sue badass scenes.

Er, why Settra. Like... Settra's not even remotely a good choice because the armies aren't derived from his abilities so much as he'd have to be brought here along with half of Khemri. I'm not the GM but it doesn't seem like whatever's bringing people here is going to be so broad as to transport entire armies inexplicably?

And... that sort of scale is probably too large and he'd just get carpet bombed by the nearest military.

I guess he came to mind because of the Total Warhammer preorder?

Not really, I's just a huge fan of Warhammer and 40k. Plus I am somewhat interested in this and I can't recall any particular character in anime I'd really want to do. I just wanted to play someone outside of a pure goody two shoes plus it never hurts to have a focused antagonists in a story.

I can list off characters from those universe I could play as, all I need to know is what limitations and restrictions there are. As of now I've learned that they have to be single entities who don't gather too much attention alone.

I mean, as shown by the JSDF noticing when we wrecked a park, anybody who shows up with an army is likely to get the expected response.

@ClocktowerEchos: I mean, we're not limited to anime. Things just... Turned out that way?
I mean, look at Fake's chars. Not anime.
There's also nothing wrong with more antagonistic characters, but...
I also do not recommend bringing along an entire army. Because that leads to bad things.

On a less antagonistic note, uh... Yeah. It's not necessarily that they don't garner too much attention alone (again, more a byproduct of the characters chosen), but moreso that their power levels are brought in line with everything else in the RP thus far. Antiheroes and characters who tend more towards the side of villainy/neutrality I don't mind, as I said, but it's more a matter of if the rest of the cast would drop literally everything they're doing to pursue them. Like bringing in someone who eats people or is a mass murderer who indiscriminately lops off heads. That sorta thing.

Or if they're unlucky enough to provoke the wrong people at the wrong time iono. Still, though, it's heavily dependent on what you do and how that's executed, so if you wanna go down that route, I won't stop ya. Just keep that in mind.

@PKMNB0Y After doing some searching, I am now wondering if I could use Pontiff Sulyvahn from Dark Souls 3.

But... we have no idea what his actual personality is like? We know what he's done but he never says anything and then... you kill him.

Though jedi pope with a stand is hilarious. xD

What you need is a character with a personality that will interact with other characters in an interesting way. I can't see the Pontiff interacting with anyone aside from trying to kill them.

Sulyvahn is more of a manipulative bastard who'd do well in political manuvering and social engineering. He'd be the one to try to become pope by making a deal with devil or Cthulu. His personality is in line of Dark Soul's phillosphy of show don't tell and his character is pieced together through his actions and interaction with others. Although if that doesn't sit well with the RP, I suppose I'll keep loooking. Might look at an Inquisitor/Commissar. Or maybe Lelouch. Or maybe someone else entirely. I'm sure I'll find someone soon.

I mean, fundamentally it might help to pick somebody that has ever said a word so that we know what they're like aside from "unceasingly power hungry". xD

Couldn't add mentions in my post due to it lagging like hell when I edited it. Too much text or something.

Ok, posted.

Presuming that everything is ok, I'm ok with moving along with everyone whenever we are ready.

I still haven't found the time/inspiration to post as Tohka, but you can consider that she's with the rest of the group (maybe in a separate room), for simplicity's sake.

Alright.

Well, I'm kinda going through the motions for the Eva group at this point. The rest of the Tenshi group can put whatever the heck in their rooms, I guess. You can even choose to double up, I guess (though obviously... Gender.)

This'll be a quick cooling-off point and a bit of relaxation before bigger stuff starts rolling into Tokyo for these two sets considering the fighting/chaos done on the last few pages, anyhow.

More in stock for Hibiki and Ben later. For now, feel free to... Do as you are.

If you need an idea of what the complex looks like, think of how apartments are set up in Hataraku Maou-sama. Or Hidamari Sketch. Probably more like Hidamari Sketch, all things considered.

(You should pop back onto Disc once saber wars rolls around tho. Because rolls.)

I like the idea, but you look to be full on characters and there's a lot of reading to do to catch up on the story.

Of course, since my character wouldn't know anything, I could just read from here forward.

I would love seeing some more characters joining in. As for catching up on the story, I guess I could give you a short version.

- There is characters in two locations on the World. Tokyo and New York.
- 4 in New York and 13 in Tokyo
- There has been Three fights at the moment. Two in Tokyo and one in New York. The involved in Tokyo has been brought/invited to the local authorities.
- Right now the characters are:

- 1 On the run in New York
- 1 Unknown?
- 1 With the Tokyo police?
- 2 Eating in Tokyo
- 2 Helping civilians in New York
- 4 Are located in or outside a building they've been given access to stay at by the military.
- 5 In a location close to the diet building where the military brief them.

@DezuelI was actually thinking of playing as Inuyasha even before I saw that you were playing as Menomeru. Maybe I'll say Hi after realizing that for some reason Kagome's house isn't where it's supposed to be (I'm just in the future, right?)

My other two characters would be Mr. Spock (because why not?) and maybe one of the Xmen (Nightcrawler?) or someone from "Firefly".
