Ruby Mamoru

Soon after the fight had ended, almost only moments after it did, the field was filled with the spectators of this spectacle. Fortunately for Ruby they managed to break the intense athmosphere that came to enfold itself in the arena due to Ruby's and Amane's staredown. She rbeathed out in relief after they had arrived and they were naturally all over her. The neko recognized Mamoru from her earlier meeting both in class and the dorms. Someone who had the same first name as Ruby's last name was difficult to forget. Besides, she was also very much a loud person.

When she was being screamed at by both Mamoru and the, luckily more quiet, concerned Persia, Ruby flinched back a bit. For someone with a more sensitive hearing like Ruby, being screamed at suddenly was horrible. Taking one step back, she managed to focus on the teacher who had decided to join them first. With a rather neutral expression, Ruby slightly bowed forward before replying to Ms. Akane. She honored teachers quite a lot and was willing to show it.
"Yes Miss. We will-"

Before she could finish her sentence or notice anything that was going on with Mamoru or Amane, her wrist was grabbed by Persia and the girl began draggin Ruby out of the arena and for that sake, the gym itself. Seeing as though Persia probably wouldn't let her go anyways, Ruby followed after her.
Once they managed to actually leave the gym Ruby would finally begin talking again. "Who would've thought that it would end up like this. I hope you are happy, having seen me fight. It seemed as though you were really into it Persia"

Dulga Tarata

Dulga simply sighed as she heard this Toru make it clear that this might be a regular occurrence. She had little patiences for foolishness before, and it hasn't gotten any better now. "Fool. Just don't cause any more grief for me or the next time you'll be paying an arm and a leg." She made no attempts to hide her threat, though she figured that making it into a joke would get through to his head better than implications of violence. It was a short trip to the nurse's office; the head nurse was on the phone so Dulga intended to wait a while until she was not occupied. But as they waited Dulga couldn't help but overhear her conversation. That she had found the medical records for the students and she was going to send them over right now. And when she named the students, Dulga realized something terrible: They were all from her class.

"Fool. Stay here and let the nurse check on your arm. Tell her that you've been missing school. I'm leaving." Dulga didn't wait to talk about it as she immediately turned around and left the nurse's office to leave school. There was only one major hospital for the other students to be at, and it'll take her some time to get there on foot. But if she was running, she'll make it in ten minutes. She didn't wait for anyone nor did she let anyone get in her way; if they didn't move then she would move them. Her cloak billowed behind her back as she carried her two large black gun cases with her rear arms, worry hidden underneath her mask. Her friends had been hurt by villains and Dulga wasn't anywhere near them when it happened. How could she have let this happen?

"This is what happens when you let yourself get careless."

Yasunari Hisakawa

Mr.Hisakawa waved a hand signaling for sparks to take care of whatever business he had too. Shortly after the man left it seems as though his granddaughter was just being brought into the room. Immediately the old man stood up from his chair. Unconsciously he made a fist, ”It’s one thing to attack an adult, but the wage battle with a group of fledgling heroes in training. My fledgling heroes in training. My granddaughter. The more he thought about the despicable act the villains committed the more he felt his composure beginning to slip. Realizing that reina was still in front of him he began to calm down a bit. The man walked over to her before kneeling down.

”I’m glad you made it out alive, but it seems like you earned yourself a lot of battle scars.”

As he looked at Reina he couldn’t help but have a small grin, why was it when her and her classmates were injured she would always be patiently waiting to get treated without complaint despite having some of the worst injuries.

“I believe the doctor should be here soon to treat you so try to hang in there, I’ll be right back to check on the other students. I want to talk with you after you’ve rested a bit.”

As the man walked out he couldn’t help but sense a change in her character. As he walked out he could see Roy coming fast, before he could move to stop the boy it seemed as though sparks beat him too it. The man smirked before turning to the boy who was chasing behind him, Acion Nakimiji.

“Yes it is I your principal.” he said with a smile, though nearby Acion was also some of his former students. Albert, Forte, and Aurelia, “Hello Ms.Dragonuv, Ms.Nakimiji, and Mr.Saratogi, I was hoping to speak with you all privately.”

Roy Kusayanagi

Mr. Sparks moved into the hallway, he pulled out his phone and jumped to the contacts and made a quick text to Jean, her guardian, back in France. Letting him know Kaida’s fine now and she will get better soon. He then glanced to his right he noticed Retha standing like a statue in the corner, another girl by her doing the same. To his left he noticed a few pro heros making their way to another room. When suddenly *WACK* one of the younger looking fellows got hit square in the face with the door. He winced slightly and couldn’t help but smile. He always enjoyed a little slap-stick.

His eyebrow raised when a blonde boy wrapped up all over and in a wheelchair raced out of the door and made his way towards him. He seemed Frantic, as if someone was in danger. He recognize him as one of the kids he saw on the tv that was with Kaida. While he knew the boy wasn’t going to harm Kaida, flying in like a bat outta hell was not going to help her.

He quickly shifted himself to block his route. ”Hold on there wheels.” He extended his left foot and used the sole of his shoe to catch the big wheel, bracing his leg for the wheelchair to swing hard left. It would have just stopped teh wheelchair in its spot, and he was prepared to even stop the kid from flying out, but the kid over reacted.

Roy was vigorously rolling the wheels of the chair, so much that he could feel some of the scrapes and cuts on his arms and torso begin to open up. He felt bad that he made Acion hid his head but he would understand later.

“Sorry! Can’t stop now!”

At the end of the corridor he could see a man he had never seen before signaling for him to stop, even to the point of getting in his way. Funny thing at this point even if he wanted to he couldn’t, first he was way too close to begin breaking without crashing into the man and two. He didn’t know where the breaks were on this machine.

The man even extended his left foot to stop him which seemed rather counter productive, was he trying to kill him at this point?

“HEY!”

Roy held out his left arm and wrapped it around the man's waist so that he wasn’t shot out of the wheelchair like a cannonball. The boy had completely bailed from the vehicle and could hear the wheelchair wiping out and crashing into the wall of the corridor. The boy had clenched his eyes shut during the whole ordeal and clung tightly to gentlemans belt, a bit longer than he should have. Slowly Roy opened one eye to check if everything was alright, followed by the other eye before letting out a relieved sigh.

“Please tell me why were you trying to hurt me?” the boy looked up, his hand still on the man's belt and beginning to weight his pants down.

The man, clearly irritated at this moment, looked down at the kid. With a clear blood vessel popping out on his forehead. ”I was just just trying to stop you, from apparently crashing into the wall. He said tossing his head back towards the wheelchair, as he grabbed the back of Roys shirt and lifted him enough so he wasn’t weighing down his belt anymore. ”You mind letting go of my pants kid?” He said as roy could feel a slight tingle on the back of his neck, the hair standing up on end as he could see electricity in the large man's eyes flashing.

Roy released his pants as the man picked him up, “Thanks but no thanks ‘kind’ sir.” He was already antsy enough from being in a hospital, coming into contact with a stranger like this seemed to rack his nerves a bit more. He felt the tingle on his neck which made his body shiver a bit from the weird feeling, quickly he ran his hand over the tingle trying to rub away the sensation.

“Mind lending me an arm real quick? My legs still are pretty weak from the treatment.” The boy said extending his arm out towards the stranger. Might as well use him while he is still here right?

Sparks narrowed his eyes for a moment before extending roy out as far as he could, dangling him like a cat, before walking him over to the wheelchair and plopping him into it. He shifted his belt and readjusted his shirt before standing infront of kaida’s door. “If you were about to fly into Kaida’s room, I suggest you don't. She needs her rest.”

Roy thanked the man as he put him back in his wheelchair, “Thank you”. As he got situated the boy took the time to actually figure out where the breaks were. Once he realized the valve was under his seat he was ready to go, quickly he turned the wheelchair to head off before hearing the man try to defer him from his intended plans. With an eyebrow raised he quickly faced the man, “I just wanted to check on my friend is all...what are you to her exactly?”. Roy began to get a little suspicious, what if he was another person planning to take her away again? What if she was already abducted and they were just trying to play it off like she was still in there?

“Please move out of the way sir, I just want to make sure she is alright.”

He folded his arms and raised an eyebrow. ”smashing through doors and possibly into her bed is not making sure she is alright. Its being reckless. He glanced to the stairs. Before he moved slightly, “There you see?” Pointing towards Kaida in the room. ”She just needs rest.” He sighed irritably not answering his first question. Now head back to your room and let her sleep.

Just like the man Roy was also beginning to grow rather irritable, his stubborn side was even starting to show as well. “I'm not going back to my room until she wakes up, I want to personally see if she is alright.” Roy was beginning to grow into a silent shout as they spoke outside the door. “I didn’t plan on waking her but I wanted to see if my friends are alright, not only for physical support but emotional as well. After what happened today, I can’t just sit still and not have an eye on her and my other friends inside there as well. So please. Let. Me. in.”

Reina Mori

Reina stood quietly as Lance splinted her arm, nodding with a slight display of relief as he told her about Roy and Kaida. She still didn't know exactly how they were doing, but knowing they were at the hospital already was reassuring.

Her gaze shifted to the remains of Rakshasa. The girl felt a light shiver run down her spine, her expression darkening. For the entire duration of the battle, she had been wishing for the man's death. While she hadn't necessarily been fighting to kill him, the thought that ending his life would help keep her friends safe was one that had crossed her mind. So, she hadn't been holding back, prepared to take a life in her struggle... well, maybe not entirely prepared. She hadn't really been thinking that much about the consequences. In the moment, though, that outcome had been one she wasn't opposed to.

And it had come to be. Not specifically by her hand, but she had had a role in the villain's death. She frowned, not used to the feeling of her blood running cold.

Distraction came in the form of Lance taking her and the woman to the hospital, the trip a short one thanks to his quirk.

At the entrance to the building, Reina briefly tried to protest the wheelchair, but the nurses were hearing none of it. Literally being carried and pushed around was not something that sat well with the girl, but she reluctantly accepted it all. She was a patient now, because she had gotten hurt. If she didn't want to be in a situation like this again, she just had to become strong enough that foes like Rakshasa wouldn't be able to touch her before she took them out.

Reina thanked Lance and Manda one more time before the three were split up. Her gaze briefly followed a tall man exiting a room--which turned out to be the one she was brought in.

The girl took the sight in for a quiet moment. Both Kaida and Michiko were on beds, neither of them awake, but both alive. Reina's gaze then glanced around to see Retha and her grand-uncle both. Seeing the two got the subtlest flash of a smile from the girl. Of course they had both rushed over as soon as they had found out what happened--they had made such quick time that they even made it to the hospital before she herself had.

Reina looked to her uncle as he got worked up about the whole thing, smiling quietly to herself. While she never really had trouble talking with him, she had nothing to say at the moment. Really, she was just tired. Overusing both her body and quirk left her with an incessant, dull ache all throughout her body (not helped by the fact that she still had to be exerting control on her quirk to keep it zeroed), on top of all the sharper pain from all her injuries--like the principal pointed out. The girl gave a small shrug at the mention of scars, her tiny smile fading. Despite all that happened, and despite all the relief she felt from knowing her friends were all alive, the thought of scars brought her down. Takeshi was missing an arm, which was infinitely worse and made her feel even more guilty for worrying about how her body would look after healing...

Pushing the thoughts out of her head as best she could, she nodded to her uncle before he exited the room.

There was only a moment of quiet before commotion started outside in the hall, Roy's voice included in that. Unable to really wheel herself around effectively with her injured arms, Reina decided to simply get off the wheelchair, walking her way slowly to the door to find out was happening. She watched the tail-end of the scene, glad to see Roy so energetic, but eyes narrowing at the man she had seen walking out of the room a few minutes ago.

"Let him by," Reina said to the man, not nearly as polite as she usually was--probably partly due to the... long day she'd had. "He won't be waking Kaida-san. Even if he wants to try, I won't have any of it." She gave a wry smirk, but kept her exhausted and somewhat irritable gaze on the tall man defiantly. "Kusayanagi-san has had a rough time today, just like the rest of us. Give him a break."

Acion Nakamiji
Albert Saratogi
Forte Dragunov

Aurelia Nakamiji

It was certainly a great feats to meet the father of every Komei students again. The group of students would really much want to enjoy a few moments talking about old times, but by the tone of it, he meant business.

"Certainly, Mr Hisakawa. I was expecting you would say that."

The three Sky Knights stepped up. However, the girl in silver-white hair halted and turned around.

"Come on brother, you aren't excluded."

Turning back to the principal, to answer whatever doubts he had in his mind about that statement she just made.

"I'm not going to lie to you, but he's also in it. But unlike the other folks, he was in the right situation and made the right decision."

The boy scratched his hair at the compliment. She didn't really mean to criticize the others. They had no choice but to fight for their lives. But she couldn't undermine Acion's decision not to fight right there. And also the fact that he worked pretty well in conjunction with her team without any prior training was actually a good thing to consider in the future.

"I'm sorry if I couldn't help my friends much." To him though, it was his first villain fight. And it very much did not go as he had expected to be. In truth, it was way worse. His pride and confidence in his power was shattered when he and his sister was outclassed by that guy. The simple explanation to that was that this was reality, and that he was not as strong as he thought he would be.

"Anyway, let us discuss the issue, shall we?" Said the girl with the black ironclad armor as they approached the principal.

While the other three were looking at Mr Hisakawa, the Sky Knight leader was paying attention to this man right next to the principal. He looked significantly older than her, but was a lot younger than our old principal. For some reasons, she could feel an odd aura behind that charming look. Something...very intuitive, but could not be expressed through rational thoughts.

Mamoru just smiled at Mako. ”Rodger that sensei! I should probably take better care of myself. After all I’ll never know when someone needs my help! Wouldn’t do me any good if I’m too beat up to help them.” The pinkette turned around and followed Persia and Ruby to the nurse’s office, skipping along the way while keeping her arm close to her body as to not aggravate it any further. As Ruby was talking about her battle Mamoru did as she often did and heaped praised upon Ruby. ”It was supa cool, even without quirks! Like straight from a shonen manga! Got all the right stuff, fast pace actions, trash talk, declarations of motivations. If I was a mangaka I would be writing, or maybe drawing, one of the most popular shonen series in the big book!”

As they were going to the nurse’s office Mamoru spotted Dulga come out of the office. ”Oh hi Tatara-san!” Then Mamoru saw Dulga run away somewhere very fast. Mamoru would wave but saw her arm get bent, so she just raised her hand. ”Bye Tatara-san!” Opening the door with her good hand Mamoru made her presence inside the office known. ”Please excuse us! We have two students who need a check up. They had a very intense spar! Oh, and I might’ve broken my arms. Again.” However there was another student here who seemed to be in an even worse condition, missing an arm. Mamoru was appropriately surprised. ”Oh no! What happened to you!? You’re missing your arm!”

Donny dragged his body through the halls. It seemed much more empty than he had expected; he figured there’d be more nurses walking around, or perhaps patients. Though to be fair, he was also located in a special wing of the hospital; it wasn’t like they kept liquid containment pods the same place they kept newborn babies. But his own delirious state and confusion only made it harder for him to figure out where he was and more importantly, where Yukari was.It actually made him curious why he was caring about her so much. All things considered, she was much more heroic than he was. He just wanted to get his wallet. ”I guess it’s just a thing of honor. Can’t be that one guy who doesn’t even have the guts to look for the girl who saved his butt.”

As Donny wandered, he started to hear voices. He wasn’t sure if his injuries were getting to his head or if someone was nearby. So Donny, in his perfect mental state, decided to go check. He could make out some vague shapes but it wasn’t until he got real close that he heard some familiar names. ”Hey guys… What are you doing here… In the hospital?” Donny approached the group, forgetting that he wasn’t in his meatsack. Not even when he was crawling towards them, as he lacked the usual structural support of a skeletal system to keep him upright. ”Is Yozakura-san… Inside?”

Hibiki looked to see Hitomi use her natural fluff to get the cat’s attention. Sure enough they were very eager to entangle themselves in Hitomi’s fluff, even the few cats that Hibiki had spoken too. But she wasn’t about to give up yet. She looked around and found a secret weapon, reaching down and picking up a small bag. Soon Hitomi may notice some of the cats getting off of her and sniffing the air, then running towards Hitomi. ”Kek kek kek keke. Come here cuties! I have more of where this came from!” In Hibiki’s hand was a small toy with catmint rubbed onto it, which was attracting many cats including the ones that were sticking to Hitomi. Five minutes had already passed, and now many of the cats were starting to head towards Hitomi. There were still a few who haven’t gotten a whiff of the mint, but they were too few to win the challenge.

”Maeda-san! You have to find some catmint yourself! Or somehow get the cats back on your side!” Of course Catmint wasn’t going to be easy for Hitomi to find… However not too far from here was a spraycan. A spraycan of cat repellent. The rules stated that neither side can do anything to directly harm one another or the cats, but if Hitomi played her cards right, she could get the cats back on her side.

He stared at the boy, for what seemed like hours. It clearly was illogical for him to bar him from seeing kaida, but he was being protective of her. He glanced up as he heard a girl chiming in about letting him in, that she would also make sure he doesn’t wake her...and to cut the boy some slack.

He stood up straight and folded his arms, The girl had a little sass to her even while injured as badly as she was. Which he respected. He caved in and stepped out of the way...he needed to take care of something anyway and didn’t have any time to really spend arguing with the knucklehead.

”Alright fine. But just remember, I don’t care if your underage or injured. You mess with Kaida in anyway ill toss you out the window.” He said is a slightly joking but way...so that no one could be sure if he was serious or not. He rolled his sleeves up and looked over to the three sky knights now talking to the principle. He noted the white haired woman looking at him intently. He gave her a charming smirk and winked at her. He then felt a vibration in his pocket and pulled out his phone and putting to his ear without glancing who was calling. This is Sparks…”Before turning around and walking towards the stairs. He then switched to French seamlessly,

.
Oui, elle va bien. Quelques brûlures graves, mais elles guérissent bien. Je vais traiter avec les gens responsables assez tôt
He pushed the door open and quickly making his way up to the roof. Answering a few more questions before quickly ending the call and sliding the phone into his pocket as he made his way up the stairs.

Retha was pacing back and forth along the hallway thinking about all of her students, the fact that they were all supposed to be under her watchful eye and this happened infuriated her. Putting her hand on a staircase railing for support, even though her suit the heat she generated could be felt emanating from her enough to nearly melt the metal rails due to her sheer emotions. Gritting her teeth, grinding them from pure frustration yelling at herself internally about how she should have been there to protect them and that they’re her responsibility only snapping free from it once Momo walked up so that she could regain her composure in front of the child to put on a very confident front. Monika the transfer student who just got to the academy earlier today had no emotional connections to any of the kids, she felt sorry it happened, but there were still no strings attached there for her, but she could feel the anger and self-disappointment coming from Retha, the kind of dedication she had for kids that weren’t even her own was something completely foreign to her until she was rescued and adopted.
Retha sighed and started walking towards Kaida’s room to check up on her and caught the doctor who’s apparently named Sparks, but the most curious part was his transition into French so smoothly almost like it was his native language. Because of her past involving a villain she knew a little French and while rusty she distinctly understood the phrase ‘they will pay’ and decided to tell the man immediately, partly from curiosity and partly for the for the idea of finding those who did this to Kaida and her classmates.

Mr. Sparks made his way to the roof door, which was already partially opened and slammed it open with his right fist, almost taking it off the hinges, causing an echoing metal clang in the stairwell. He walked onto the roof and made his way to the farthest corner of the building where another man stood in the shadow of an AC unit.

Coming to a stop next to him, the man spoke up calmly and in an ‘old friend’ kind of tone. ”You look good for a deadman... Only glancing at him from the corner of his eye while they stared into the city.

Sparks didn’t answer as it was clear he was controlling his anger as his right fist clenched tightly. The man continued. ”...As well as a busy one at that. France...America, England. An Entire empire taken down in five years. And to stay hidden from us...an even more impressive feat.

Sparks then answered, ”Enough...I know it was you who attacked the kids...I know you were after your youngest brother and sister, as well as Kaida…” He turned towards him. “Come near her again, or her friends…”

She was promised by Draco… I don’t care what he promised you... I'll kill your entire clan if you come near her or her friends.”

Retha listened to them talk back and forth sitting back watching and gritting her teeth, she wanted to jump in and put an end to this right now, especially since it's obvious they were villains and the face that Sparks knows Draco is a massive red flag. The only thing stopping her from turning off her Cryo core and bring both in was the fact that this was a hospital and if they put up any kind of fight this entire building would go down. Making a mental note that she would see about both of them in her own time when less innocent lives would be caught in the crossfire. She opted to instead follow and listen in and only get involved if they actively attempted to perform criminal acts that she could imprison them.

The man chuckled as he cocked his head to the side. ” I doubt you could pose much of a threat… Draco was strong, but even he couldn’t take on the entire clan. “

That would have been more convincing… Sparks said as electricity crackled in Sparks right hand.“If you hadn’t left the building after seeing me.” He swatted lazily at the mans face, his electrified hand passing through it, shadows were dissipated, but reformed shortly. ”While Draco was still stronger than me….” He turned back towards the door that lead inside. ” I am more dangerous to you than he was…” He then started to walk back towards the door where Retha was hidden, The man watching him for a moment more before his entire being literally melted away into the shadows.

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy looked at the man with an annoyed glare as he playfully threatened the boy, as much as he wanted to tell him off, doing so would have gotten him nowhere. Once he moved out the way he nodded to Reina

”Thank you Reina, I really appreciate it.” he said smiling as he rolled his way into the room. The boy looked over to the far corner of the room to see Michiko sleeping peacefully.

”You know..I envy your strength Reina. I don’t think we would’ve been alive if you weren’t here, you fought vigorously until the end, while I ended up becoming a burden.” the blonde couldn’t even look his friend in the face as he spoke. ”You should have more confidence in yourself and your ability or else I’ll feel offended. As someone who is now looking up to you.”

He then made his way over to Kaidas bedside with, he was glad that she was still with them but he couldn’t help but feel guilty that she had gotten hurt, that all of his friends got hurt. As is right now, he was to weak and ended up being a burden in the end.

He hoped for his friends would wake up soon, just to confirm they were alright. Just the thought of villains knowing who Takeshi, Michiko , Kaida, and himself were was frightening. The recent attack, his friends all getting hurt, even himself being in a hospital again had him completely on edge, and that man getting in his way and not even telling him his name or any piece of info. Hell, he caught a snip of his name or nickname or whatever it was only because he answered a phone call.

”Sparks, who the hell is he and what does he have to do with you?” he mumbled under his breath.

He then heard someone say hi and ask if yozakura-San was inside which made Roy stop and think for a second, wasn’t that one of their classmates last names? He turned his wheelchair to the door way,
”No...Yozakura-San is not in this room..um.” he looked at the black bob on the floor with bones extending out of the body. What the hell is that thing? The boy rolled his wheel chair defensively in front of Kaidas bed. As he did so , he could hear tossing and turning behind him as Kaida began mumbling to herself.

”Who are you and what do you want with Yozakura-San?” a slight glow was beginning to resonate from the boys body as well as some heat as he readied his quirk.

Persia Hayashida

Persia loosened her grip on the girls wrist as she began walking, ”Of course I was into, it’s always interesting to watch a fight with the school bully!” she said loud enough for Amane to hear, in effect the group would hear a annoyed growl from the boy.

”But you could feel it in the air, the intense emotion you both gave off in your words and actions. There wasn’t anyone in that gym who could ignore that. To be honest your fight had me thinking rather deeply.” she turned around and faced Mako and Mamoru who had been talking the way there.

”But that all comes down to what you percieve what a villain and what a hero is. There are people who are even more righteous than our so called heroes that are labeled villains simply because they do not comply with the social norms. Even dating back to the beginning of the first quirk users, they experienced great prejudice simply beause they were different. Our society doesn’t help the outcasts, we simply condemn them. Though that brings up another question, why exactly did you want to turn yourself in and begin working at a hero academy?

As they reached the nurses room it seemed as though there was a girl as big as a house leaving with urgency as well as one armed boy. ”Thats awesome.”

Yukari Yozakura

Yukari’s memories were fuzzy. She remembered waking in and out of consciousness what felt like every few minutes, but the scenes changed so drastically. First she was falling off her feet, then she was being wheeled out of an ambulance, then she was getting surgery, and she wasn’t even sure if any of this happened. In between the moments of clarity Yukari’s mind drifted back to her time living on the streets. It was a very short time period, only about five days, but she remembers them well. How on her first day she had quite a bit of money stolen from the circus, and how the next day it was all gone. She had thought that she could trust being a vagrant child with other vagrant children. It was a harsh lesson for her when she found out that even they could slip pass her heighten senses and make off with her wallet. At least they didn’t try anything else, but it still left a painful memory: she couldn’t trust anyone.

The next few days Yukari did things she wasn’t proud of doing. Mostly stealing, but also a lot of lying. Unlike some vagrant children she could still pass off as a normal girl, albeit a blind one, so she’d often play dumb and take advantage of people’s kindness to get little things like some food or a drink. She never stole money if she could help it. But it wasn’t like she was being Robin Hood and stealing from greedy merchants or corrupt shop owners; she was taking advantage of kindly old ladies and dumb boys who fell for a cute face. She put her performance ability to use.

It wasn’t until she actually got to Komei that the harsh realities of being a runaway really set in. It wasn’t just sleeping in the streets and stealing things to get by; Yukari didn’t even know her birthday, let alone other information she’d need like her insurance, her social security number, and her previous school record. She had none of those things. And she knew that she couldn’t just straight up tell everyone there that she didn’t have those things because she was a runaway. At best they’d just have to turn her down, or at worse they might even arrest her and try to bring her back to her parents. All she could have done was play dumb and get the paperwork that needed to be filled out, but there was no way she was going to go to Komei on her own. She couldn’t even read the damn papers.

Soon Yukari’s eyes slowly opened. Her body was numb due to the anesthesia they put into her. She could barely move a muscle but she was at least able to look down at her legs. One was in a cast being suspended in the air; the same one that Kensai had gashed deeply. She didn’t want to see how that looked, but she imagined that it was painful. The wound did remind her however that she never defeated Kensai. She immediately shot upwards then immediately regretted it as her entire body was wracked in pain so intense it made her scream.

”AAAAH!”

It was like her entire body had been stabbed with a knife. She felt so cold that she had to hug herself, but she was sweating like crazy. Her temperature was high and she was suffering from a fever somehow. She thought she saw nurses come in but she was completely alone in her room. Then she realized that she’s blind, and everything she was seeing was just in her head. This sensory overload just confused Yukari even more, causing her to writhe painfully in bed whimpering in distress. "H-Help... It hurts!"

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi noticed the cats getting off her and flocking to Hibiki, and actually felt herself getting angry. Just because that wasn't against the rules doesn't mean it wasn't cheating! Hitomi started to look around for something she could use, and spotted the can of spray. She'd even the odds, even if it went against her own moral standards! Picking up the can, she read it and discerned its contents. At first, it seemed useless and even counterproductive, but then she realised how she could use it.

Spray can in hand, she started to run towards Hibiki. She looked none too pleased at the Support Class student. When she reached her, she stopped her motion with one leg, and used the momentum to crouch down, and then leap over the other student. She somersaulted in the eair to get herself into the correct position, before landing on Hibiki's blind side; the side holding the toy, which she then sprayed with the repellent. She looked Hibiki in the eyes as she did this, and smirked. Pocketing the spray can so it couldn't be used against her, Hitomi leisurely returned to the center to the area , floofed up, and began attracting cats again.

Mako Akane

"Why did I want to turn myself in and begin working at a hero academy? Well, first of all, I didn't turn myself in. I got caught. I mean technically, I surrended, but only because I knew I was going to lose and a least wanted some kind of victory over the proud Valkyries. Robbing them of having legitimately earned the title of 'the ones who finally beat and caught Madame Obsidian' was petty, but it beat getting my ass kicked and them feeling good about it. I never turned myself in. I never felt guilt or remorse. I can't even point to a moment where I definitely turned over my new leaf, if indeed that ever happened. The simple truth is that I was afraid my second stint as a Villainess wouldn't be as fun as the first. I'd done all I could do, stole from the most secure places and evaded the best villains. I'd reached the top of the ladder and wanted a career change less I stagnate. Prison gave me plenty of time to think, and I decided to become a secretary. I didn't even consider teaching until I was approached for this job. My search for a secretary job was newsworthy for a few small time publications, and few companies wanted somebody with my history and fame associated with them. The headmaster contacted me, and asked if I'd ever though about teaching. And I never had before."

Mako could have carried on with her story, that Persia, Mamory, Ruby and Amane were all privy to, for hours if left unchecked, but as they neared the Nurse's office, she saw Dulga leave in a hurry, looking more serious than usual. Mako too turned slightly more serious as she mulled over this event. When they reached the nurse's office, she left the kids in the care of Kiwi and looked over at what she had been doing, which was putting the medical records of several students into an envelope addressed to the hospital. One of them stood out to Mako; Donny Yang.

Mako finished packing the records, turned to Kiwi, and explained that she'd run them up to the Hospital herself so that Kiwi could look after the sudden influx of students in the Nurse's office. Injured hands, broken arms, missing arms...what fun!

Dulga, running to the Hospital carrying rather heavy gunbags, would notice a car pull up in front of her. Mako's head poked out of the driver's window, eyes closed and mouth beaming as per usual.

"Aren't they heavy! Come on! I'm going to the hospital myself! I'll give you a lift!"

Dulga Tarata

After getting out of school Dulga made a straight line towards the hospital. Her GPS was going to make her take the sidewalks even if she choose a footpath, but she had no time for something like that. She was just going to head in a straight line, damn whatever may be between her and the hospital. She ran from the school through a neighborhood alley. It ended in the back of a house, but Dulga didn't turn around and just climbed over it, digging her hands into the brick and climbing up and over. She did this a few times until she she reached the next obstacle; a riverbank. She could swim across, but there was also a train bridge that went over it too. It wasn't too far so Dulga just took the bridge, but a quarter-way through the bridge she heard a train coming up behind her. She didn't even turn around as she moved to the side and when the train was zooming past her, she jumped up and grabbed the edge of one of the boxcars. She rode the train across the bridge and then jumped off down a hill. She checked her phone; she still had quite a bit of running to do. "Tch. Fine."

Dulga just hit a street when she heard a car coming up behind her. She moved off to the side only for the car to stop right next to her. Mako was driving. "Akane-sensei? So you heard the news then." Dulga got into the car without any fuss. While she didn't want to just sit down and do nothing, this was going to be faster than running. Dulga said nothing during the ride, but the entire way there her thought went back to her chat with Mako in Villain Studies. Those last few words she had with the teacher. "How many have to die before he's stopped? How long do you think I have before he comes here seeking a challenge? You know it as well as I do that he seeks the strongest, and Komei has it. You can hope that he never comes here. I will be ready for him." The girl clenched her fist. Time was running short. Very short.

Soon Mako and Dulga arrived to the hospital. Mako wasn't even at a full stop when Dulga unbuckled from her seat, opened the door, and ran out of the car and into the hospital. She got instead and looked around. Everything seemed normal, but of course it did; it wouldn't do anyone any good if this place was in a frenzy. The first thing Dulga was going to do was ask the receptionist where the Komei students were, but stopped. They had just been attacked by villains; there was no way that the hospital would tell anyone but official Komei staff about their whereabouts, not even students. Dulga took a deep breath and looked for some staircases. She'll have to find Kaida herself. She looked around for the staircase and headed up. She needed to calm down and try not to look like a crazed gunman or else hospital security was going to stop her. Walking helped calm her nerves. It allowed her to focus her mind instead of letting it stay in panic mode, which Dulga silently berated herself. This is exactly the sort of reaction a villain would want from Dulga if they were really after her or Dulga's friends. That panicked reaction where she runs off without telling anyone, going off on her own. There was no justifying her rash actions, though she wasn't going to admit that she was wrong. She just vowed to take better precautions next time.

As Dulga was looking around she spotted an odd site; a bony black mass crawling towards one of the rooms. She recognized it as Donny; try as he might everyone saw his blob form during the second hero course battle. Even if he still tries to hide it at this point it was an open secret. She had heard his name among the students who got hurt, but it seemed like Roy, who Donny was talking to, didn't recognize him. But Dulga didn't really care about that and approached the two boys, her huge and stoic figure looking very ominous in these white halls. Like a hooded grim reaper. "Kusayanagi. Yang. Where's Kaida-" Then she froze. She saw Kaida lay in bed, asleep. Or worse. Dulga ignored the two, even rolling Roy's wheelchair away. "Kaida... What happened?" Dulga turned to Roy. Her eyes weren't angry but scared. "What happened?!"

Asuka gave a sardonic half-smile. She considered herself to be something of a social expert, too, and as such was fairly confident that she'd understood the meaning behind Kasuke's words. If Fumika really had been spreading rumors about her, Mina's response was definitely a good sign, since she seemed to be taking what preconceptions she did have with a grain of salt. That made things easier. If that was the case, then no matter what her sister had said, this was one person, at least, who'd at least give her the time of day. Perhaps she'd be able to talk to someone here without things turning immediately sour, after all.

"Who said I wasn't getting anything in return?" She smiled back calmly. "Although we're not exactly close, Harukaze-san is putting me up - not to mention putting up with me - while I'm here visiting my sister." She said it half-jokingly, hoping to lighten the mood from Kasuke's unexpectedly sour reaction to the mention of her friend. That much didn't make sense to her. After all, there was no way Fumika would slander the name of the girl who'd saved her life... was there? No, Asuka couldn't believe that her sister would be so petty... And yet, it certainly seemed as if people were reacting strangely to the mention of her. Could it really have only been because of the argument that had resulted from their last visit?

"Besides, both my sister and I owe her a lot. If I couldn't be arsed to help her out when she needs it, then by that same logic, I wouldn't be a terribly good friend myself. And as far as favors go, telling someone sorry isn't exactly too much to ask, y'know?" She gave a slight shrug. "Whatever. Not like it matters, anyhow, since that Jett guy didn't want me playing middleman either. My job's done, either way."

She was just about to turn and head into the dorm when another voice suddenly reached her ears, and she started slightly, immediately turning around. They hadn't spoken much, but the only person who'd address her in such a familiar manner had to be...!

It was. Yoshida Kenichi came trotting into view. Asuka made sure to seem surprised by this, and thankfully didn't have to try very hard, since she hadn't really been expecting to be accosted by someone so suddenly, especially not after the deduction she'd just made.

"Ah, Yoshida-san, right? Nice to see you again!" She greeted cheerfully. There wasn't any point in going full-on Gal Mode - if she was too cute, after all, he'd just fall for her, which would only get in the way of her plans for him and her sister - but on the other hand, she hadn't exactly greeted him very warmly last time, and she definitely needed to undo that first impression.

Almost immediately, he inquired after Fumika. She smiled slightly, glad to see things were proceeding according to her expectations, and was about to answer, but something about the whole situation felt... off, somehow. Asuka wasn't quite as good at this sort of thing as her sister, since she couldn't literally see through people with the same ease... but she liked to think of herself as a pretty good detective, and she had to say, his body language was way different from how it had been before. He seemed to be making each motion oddly deliberate, as if trying to avoid straining himself... And it was definitely unusual for somebody so active to seem so out of breath unless he'd sprinted the whole way. Was he injured? Almost immediately, she couldn't help but tie that conclusion together with his very vague excuse, saying he'd been away on "personal business..." There was definitely something fishy going on, but it wasn't like he'd tell her if she just asked about it up front... Still, it was a tad unsettling. Was Fumika involved somehow? Was that why he was worried about her? She made a mental note to keep on eye on him, but decided she'd pretend not to notice for now.

"Well, Kasuke thinks she's probably still here in the dorms, but I was going to visit her myself so we could plan some outings this week before Harukaze and I head back. If you want to see her, why not wait here? I'll text her and ask her to come down." She gave an apologetic smile as an aside to Mina, who had doubtless already seen through her transparent excuse for starting the conversation in the first place, but whose offer to help her find her sister she did not wish to devalue.

Taking out her phone, she began tapping dexterously away at the screen, shooting off a message even as she spoke.

Hey. Sis. You're in your dorm, right? Come downstairs. Harukaze will be here in a sec, and a friend of yours wants to talk.

Haruka was silent for a moment, then slowly, hesitantly, she reached out a small, white hand, and took the hand that was offered to her. Her artificial leg wobbled slightly, the joints giving a dull, hollow clatter as she planted her crutch to support herself and, after a moment longer, released Jett's hand with a faint blush.

The wind rustled through the leaves of the hedge, and Haruka's dark hair fluttered back from over her eyes, revealing two amber orbs fixed gloomily on the stones of the path on which she stood. Her face had never been terribly striking, or overly pretty. A high brow and prominent cheekbones had always seemed to dramatically overshadow her deeply set eyes, yet now, even in the light, the dark, baggy circles underneath them remained. Their whites seemed rimmed with red, denied of sleep, and her once round, childishly ruddy cheeks had lost much of their fullness and color.

She was silent, not knowing how to respond. Jett's simple words still seemed to ring in her ears, accusing her of the greatest crime she could possibly commit toward their friendship. He didn't understand her reasons, still? Even after what she had said during their argument before? Did he just not want to know the truth, not want to believe that she could really be so petty? And yet, he deserved to know. She had no choice but to tell him, no matter how much she wanted to hide it. So why? Why wouldn't the words come out?

"...If I had told you, what would you have done?" She asked quietly. She couldn't say it. She couldn't say it at all. How could she honestly tell him that she just hadn't wanted to be pitied? How could she tell him that she had wanted him, at least, to admire her like he had used to? Anything would be better than that. She'd lie. It was the stupidest, most audacious, most high-minded lie she could think of, and to say it made her sick, but she said it nonetheless. "You'd have come running, right? You would have done anything you could to help. That's how you always were, even when it was none of your business." What was she saying? This wasn't... This wasn't it at all. "I didn't want to waste your time. Not when you needed to practice and work hard to become a hero. If I'd told you what had happened... If you knew, it would only have been a distraction, right?"

She lowered her head. How could she possibly look him in the eye and claim that her own self-gratification had been meant for his good? That she'd been thinking of him all along, when she'd only been thinking of herself? Disgusting. She was so disgusting. He'd been so devastated when he saw her, had only wanted to help... He was still just as stupidly nice to her as ever, and she was going to brush all that off? She didn't even deserve his pity! And yet, he was still looking at her with those eyes... those damned sad eyes, pitying her like that when he should have been disgusted.

"So that's... that's..." She faltered. The lies in her throat warred with the guilt in her heart, and were defeated. "...That's not it at all." She said at last, raising her head. "I can't. It's too stupid. I can't say it after all. We both know I'm not that kind of selfless person." She took a deep breath. "...The truth is, I knew you'd come running... but I was only thinking of myself. Because I knew... Because I knew that if you found out what had happened, if you found out that I couldn't do anything anymore, you'd feel sorry for me...!" She bit down hard on her lip. Her voice was trying to crack, but she wouldn't let it. She wouldn't cry in front of him. Not again. Please, not again.

"It's stupid, right? I mean, what have I got to be proud of? I never did any good for anyone, and now I never can. And because I was selfish, I made you worry, and... and... It's all just so stupid that I want to laugh." She forced herself to smile, but it was utterly mirthless. Haruka neither looked nor sounded like laughing was something she was even capable of doing.

While kaida was sleeping she shifted in her bed as she received a confused look upon her face even though she didn’t wake up.. She had a dream that she was with her favorite teddy bear in the castle courtyard, a man was playing with her, his face was blurry but it had to be Jean. so much love and laugher. It was as close as she got to a real family while her father was away… The teddy bear was a gift from him, soft and cuddly like him.

She remembered holding her teddy bear high as Jean ran around with her on his shoulders the squeal of her own laughter was clear in her mind… suddenly voices dragged her out of her slumber...someone mentioning Mr. Sparks. Her eyes were groggy and she looked at everyone in the room… she didn’t reconize them... a few were standing...one was reallllllly tall. The other was short with dark hair, and another was in a wheelchair with blonde hair. He was talking to somone...oh... there was a black blob at the door...He was talking to the blob?

She clenched her eyes shut and whimpered at the pain she suddenly felt on her neck and arms. She felt the warmth of the lamps and heat packs...She reached around her bed, clearly still half asleep… Mr. Sparks...where's...Mr.Sparks…Wheres...my teddy...Mr.Sparks... She whimpered like a child. She grabbed the largest pack that was next to her body that had slipped off and pulled it to her chest as a child would with her teddy. She hummed slightly at the warm it gave her, clearly making this her new teddy. When she fell back asleep. "Mr.Sparks..." she said finally as if she managed to find him.

Roy Kusayanagi

It took a couple seconds for Roy to realize just who and what that black blob on the floor was, "Is that you Don-" in that instant a large hooded figure came into the door, to anyone who must have seen her walkng the hospital halls they must've have been startled by her appearance. She quickly asked Donny and Roy for Kaidas whereabouts before finding them out for herself, Kaida had been sleeping. In a rush she sent Roy rolling aside, sending him rolling down the lenght of the bed until, the boy quickly stopped himself from going further by grabbing onto the frame of the bed.

She asked what happened to her the first time subtly to herself before shouting the second time, in which Roy responded by holding a finger up to his lip. "Shh, she isn't the only one sleeping in this room, if you speak to loudly we'll end up being kicked out." After Roy warned her Kaida began tossing about her bed whining and asking for that man who was trying to keep him from entering the room. It looks like Kaida knew this man, as well as asking for a teddy bear, Roy just smiled in relief at the fact that she was showing signs of life, at this rate she would wake up soon enough. "We were attacked while trying to grab a bite to eat at a Ramen shop, by who they go by the shadow clan I believe.Kaida got injured but she will make a healthy recovery, shes just resting right now is all. a couple of scrapes and cuts, burns, and a mild concussion from what I recall, luckily thats all that she shuffered since she walked away with the 2nd least amount of injuries out of all of us."

Roy rolled his way over to the wall, aligning himself with Kaidas bedframe before placing the brakes on his wheelchair, "Take a deep breath and relax a bit. She'll recover soon enough." he had decided to just wait for her to come too, until then he'd just watch over her and the others in the meantime.

Monika Mozaki

Monika broke off from Retha but made sure she knew where she was when the time came to leave as that was her only way back to the school itself aside from walking. The young girl began to walk the hallways of the hospital visiting each of her new classmates of which she had zero knowledge of, or attachments too, she felt sorry for them, but it didn’t sting like it must for their actual friends even, so this would help her put faces to names. Part of her wished she had been there to lend assistance and maybe things wouldn’t have turned out so bad a foreign feeling to be sure, as her actual dad never installed the selflessness aspect in her as a child, though this could be chalked up to her adopted parents teaching her the knight’s code. Nearing the end of her self-imposed tour and meet she decided to go by the vending machine to buy a bottle of juice, it wasn’t water and would take longer for her body to process but damn it was good. The liquid had just enough time to rush past her lips when she heard a scream in the distance prompting her to spit it out, turn around and listen more intently; someone was in pain and screaming for help.

“Did they come back to finish the job?” Monika thought to herself and immediately reeled in her emotions and reasoned with herself “This place is too public for anyone to do that, however” she continued to think as she ran towards the noise “Maybe an assassin?” she questioned, turning the corner “No, too much screaming” The girl continued to pool scenario after scenario but one thing she knew from her adopted mother was that if someone screams for help you don’t think twice about helping. Monika turned another corner and began to enter the room where the commotion was erupting from releasing a skinny stream of water down her forearm stopping it at her fingers, just in case.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga was shocked and listened quietly. Her mind was just a mess of emotions once again. Even as she was calming down, this still didn't make sense. Why did this "Shadow Clan" attack them? Surely this wasn't just a robbery gone bad. Roy said they were specifically attacked, so this must have been an assassination of some sort. But who were the Shadow Clan, and who where they attacking? That's when Dulga looked around the room and slowly, now that her mind wasn't frantic about Kaida, she could piece together a theory. The other people in this room included Reina Mori, a girl with gravity powers. She may be related to the principle considering their similar powers, so perhaps they were after her. Then there was Takeshi and Michiko Yashiro. Ever since Dulga first saw Takeshi she pegged him as a child soldier. She wouldn't be surprised if this Shadow Clan was an enemy of Takeshi's clan. Or he might possibly be from the clan as well, since his quirk does relate to shadows. That too would explain why they would go after him. Then there was Roy. Dulga didn't know much about him however, but that itself could mean there's more to him than meets the eye. Perhaps he comes from a powerful family and doesn't even realize it. And of course there was Kaida. Her powers, her father, that made her all too tempting a target for anyone criminal. Either someone who wants to use Kaida as a bargaining chip, or brainwash her into becoming an enemy as powerful as her father.

For a long while Dulga just stood there looking down at Kaida, her thoughts wondering to all these potential heroes and the enemies they might not even be aware of. Dulga already had her own nemesis she needed to fight. Today's incident reminded her that there are battles being fought everywhere though, and no one was completely safe. "Tch..." It frustrated Dulga even more. She wanted to desperately to eliminate Kensai, not just for her own vengeance, but to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else. But now Dulga could see there were many more enemies she needed to defeat too, if she wanted to protect the people she cared for. And it just kept reminding her that right now, she was weak. Suitable only to hunt animals and not a real villain. "This will not stand."

Dulga had calmed down considerably and pulled up a chair near Kaida's bed. She sat down and tried to think more about what had happened and how to prevent this. She turned to both Roy and Donny. "I want both of you to tell me what exactly happened and who you were facing. This was no accident. There are people after us. And all of us, even the ones who weren't attacked, need to be prepared." She looked to Kaida, tempted to reach out and touch her hand. She wanted to protect her, protect everyone. She knew she couldn't do it alone though. Not yet. She needed to train, to gather intel, do whatever it took to make sure this tragedy doesn't repeat itself. Quietly Dulga whispered to herself as she rubbed her face and looked serious. "I will save you."

Vae Lynn SaDiablo

Vae could tell something was wrong. As if there was something she had done to make the young woman in front of her uncomfortable. Perhaps it was the fact she would flip between the three languages the girl knew. In a way this fact couldn't really be helped. Not in the way you could fix a car with new parts, after all the language barrier was more of a defense mechanism than anything. Yet a mental smile did form when the girl managed to say Hello in German. Even if the pronunciation seemed completely off.

The young woman continued watching Nia’s expressions and gestures as she continued speaking. As she continued speaking the other woman seemed quite upset. Understandable considering Nia probably didn't know that much German. No one seemed to be interested in learning this language anymore. Most would prefer Spanish or Italian in order to woe someone they loved. Yet here this person was trying to make an attempt making the native american feel special in a way. Granted once she spoke in English it seemed to have made this person feel better.

”If you're worried about a small accident why don't you just treat me to a home cooked meal? This will make up for a small bump and allow me to find my way to the school. As for the protection part its very kind of you. I'm used to being stalked. I just dislike the way that male was staring at me.” The young lady said as if to clear the situation up a little bit. Vae slowly took the bag from Nia as her head turned to the side. As of trying to display confusion though it would look completely strange to the people outside. Mainly due to the expressionless gesture. ”My first day is correct.”

Mako Akane

Collab with @Heartfillia

While Dulga rushed upstairs, Mako instead headed to the reception, and with a smile and some pleasant light conversation, handed the medical records to the receptionist. With that done, it was time to go check on her students. She wanted to make sure they were alright. Mako headed up the stairs, and headed down the corridor.

Upon reaching the door to enter the stairwell, Mr. Sparks took a minute to collect himself before making his way down the stairs. He made it back to the corridor that everyone was on and turned towards Kaida’s room, Just behind a woman who had walked up the stairs. Instantly he smelt the perfume coming off her as she walked, a hint of lavender and fruit. He remembered that smell, from what if felt like a lifetime ago.

He looked forward to see everyone still in the hallway, now including a black mass standing there. Slightly surprised at the quirk before him, no one seemed to be frightened by it, so it was possible they knew this blob. He moved slightly more quickly to get to Kaida’s room, Softly saying to the woman as he passed by close to her, ”Pardon me, miss.” As he turned to look at her with a polite swave smile. There was a moment of hesitation as he recognized her face, she was hard to forget.

Mako nodded, smiling, and stepped to the side. She was about to reply with some polite courtesy, but she saw that he was staring at her as if he remembered her, so she quickly racked her brain trying to think of where she’d seen him before. He definitely looked familiar. Then it hit her, and her golden eyes opened. As they did, it became obvious that this was the same woman he was thinking of. Her hair was much longer than shoulder length now, and graying at the ends, and her smile was more polite and less foxish, but those eyes were unmistakably Akane Mako’s.

”You!” she gasped, surprised.

He stopped completely in front of her now. His own gold eyes warm with a fond memory as he looked into Akane Mako’s own. His smile turned into a more genuine one. While her hair and smile had changed. Her beauty hadn’t. He took a step back, as if the pure realization of who she was knocked him back. When she gasped, recognizing him his smile, somehow even grew more. ”You!” He copied and added, ”You look even more beautiful than I remember, Miss Mako.”

Far from the young lady with a cool facade but who blushed easily at the slightest flattery, Ms. Mako responded to this with genuine smile. It seems she had improved her composure greatly after all these years. Though, a glint shone in her eyes and a little of the foxiness came back into her smile. If he wanted to play, let us play! ”You flatter me! Though, I must say, the years have been kind to you also.”

The alarms could be heard for whole streets around. It was a quiet day, and there was no other noise to mask the piercing wail. A private depository for jewellery was in chaos, not helped by the senior staff, who were examining a hole in the wall, outlined by melted brick, or by the absence of the guards, who were currently chasing the perpetrator.

A figure in a black hooded jacket was sprinting down a market street not too far away from the alley that led from the hit building. Over her shoulder was a duffel bag filled to the brim with stolen jewelry. The guards, while not so close as to catch her, were staying close enough that she couldn’t lose their line of sight. Despite this, she was smiling. It was during moments like these where she really felt alive. The adrenaline, the danger, the emotional high of a hard job pulled off. Well, not quite yet. If she didn’t shake them soon, she’d hit the more populous areas. Then she might actually be in trouble!

A young man in a suit and tie was walking through the market browsing the wares when he heard alarms going off. He lifted his head with a raised eyebrow. Wondering who would pull a heist in the middle of the day. It was bold, crazy… and well… intriguing. He moved closer to the sound when he saw a hooded figure sprinting towards him, with guards following the figure.

Smiling he moved just enough to get in the perps way, but not enough for them to think he was trying to stop them. He suddenly noticed the feminine figure, and decided to...help. He glanced to his side and touched a metal railing casually, an arch of electricity jumped from his hand so slightly that if you would only see it if you were looking for it. The electricity traveled down the railing to a booth that the girl just past, the open arc suddenly spreading to all the electronics and causing mini explosions that caused everyone nearby to suddenly back up and freak out, blocking the path and sight the guards had.

He would then reach out and grab the girl by the waist, her momentum spinning them around once. But she would notice that his grip was iron tight, but not so that she was hurt. She would also see a glint of a badge on his hip, and gun in under his suit strapped to his left chest.

Seeing these things, and immediately taking him to be a cop, Mako’s smile disappeared, and she tried to break free, but his grip was too tight. Not seeing a great many options, she dropped the duffel back on the pavement and quickly tore off her hooded jacket, throwing it over the duffel bag to cover it. This act revealed that she was a very pretty woman in her late teens or early twenties, with jet-black shoulder length hair and fiery golden eyes. She was wearing a loose navy vest, jeans and white running shoes. She raised her eyebrow as if to say ‘You got a problem with this’?

As she was doing this, the guards were shoving their way through, as soon as she covered the bag he reached out with his foot and snagged it, sliding it behind him and under a covered table. All the while looking back at the beautiful woman in front of him with a swave smile. Despite her defiant look at him. Pulling her closer to him he looked and over her head at the guards who were running towards them. He waved his hand to them, getting their attention. “Over here!” But as the guards came up on them. “The perp ran that way.” He said while jerking his finger over his shoulder. ”Son of a bitch ran into my wife! I’ll have units try to cut him off through that alley.” He said while pulling up his phone from his pocket.

When she saw that this stranger helped her to hide her stolen goods, she knew that he was helping her, and played along. She stopped resisting, and instead wrapped her arms around his waist so that they looked like a real couple. When he called the guards over, there was a split-second of panic in her eyes before her brain caught up and she realised that this was actually a good move. Now, what to pretend to be...the man answered that, too, by calling her his wife. She was hardly dressed to pass for a sweetheart or a lady, though, so she went down the firecracker route. Turning away from her saviour to face the guards with an affronted, pissed off look and shook her fist, keeping her other hand firmly around the stranger’s waist.

”Oi! Catch that punk and lock them up! You hear? That bastard could have injured me!”

The guards nodded as the continue to chase the now phantom thief. He waited a moment, looking over his shoulder his phone to his ear...but said nothing. Once out of site he put down the phone and glanced at the woman. With a mischievous smirk and playfulness in his eyes. ”So, not only does the lady have the looks to knock out a crowd. But she has the smarts as well? Thats a dangerous combo…” While his grip didn’t leave her waist as he stood close to her, she would notice it wasn’t holding her...too tightly anymore.

The woman relaxed, but that didn’t last long as she actually paid attention to the stranger and how they were holding each other. He was very attractive, sure, but there was a ruggish, rouge-ish playful quality about him, and dammit, that was her type! And on top of that, he then complimented her in a very suave manner! The woman blushed, and let go of his waist, stepping back and smiling a rather foxlike smile.

”I’m a dangerous woman. Tell me, how should I address my knight in shining armor?” she tried to answer back but the blush really took away from the cool, sassy vibe she was going for.

He reluctantly let go of her as she took a step back. That smile was so cute. The air of mysteriousness that surrounded her and her playful fox like expresion. She was so intriguing, and gorgeous, and a bad girl! She asked for his name in a roundabout way. He smiled and placed a hand on his chest while he bowed slightly. He didn’t want to lie to her, but at this moment he couldn’t give his real name.”You can call me Luc Sparks. It is a pleasure to meet you m’lady...” He paused to make it clear that he was wondering what to call her as well. It was now she could hear the foreign accent, He took her hand in his and kissed it.

This, she was not mentally prepared for, and blushed an even redder shade, and stammered for a few seconds, before clearing her throat to restore some sense of control and composition to herself. She then smiled up at the handsome stranger. ”The pleasure is all mine. My name’s Mako Akane, but please call me Akane.”

“A beautiful name.” He said as he bent down and picked up her bag of loot, holding as if he were going to give it back but he stopped. “Now about my payment. Partners in crime get 50/50 shares no?” He said with a mischievous grin, but shred of innocence in his eyes as if he was seriously wondering.

The foxish grin returned in full along with her confident aura, as she gestured to the bag. ”I’ll gladly let you take half. More than half, even, if you take the bag off my hands. They’re looking for a suspect of small frame with a black jacket, hood, and a duffel bag. Take that away and we’re both clear. Besides, I steal for the sport, not the money or possessions.”

He cocked his head to the side, surprised at her answer. There was never anyone he met who did it for the sport. He shrugged and dropped the bag next to the trash can near them. “Really?” He said with an honest impressed look on his face. “Well that’s a shame, because I have no need for the money as well. I was going to ask for my payment to be for the chance to take you out to dinner. Tonight.”

Her reaction to this was surprise, and visible conflict showed on her face, and she sighed. She smiled at him, but it seemed sadder this time. ”Oh, sorry for messing up your pickup line, and also sorry for turning down the offer. I...let’s say i’m putting my career first. I do really want to go out to dinner with you. You’re really attractive, charming, and to be frank, my type. But I just can’t. I’m sorry. I...probably didn’t help just now, did I?”

He lowered his head slightly in respect to her wishes. Sighing, “ Nope not really…” he said with a chuckle despite the loss. He placed his hands on his hips and lifted his head, pushing Through it he gave her another smile. “Well if you ever change your mind… check your back pocket.” He said with a wink, as he turned around and wave casually without looking back. “Good luck with your Career. Madame.”

”Yes, you too,” she replied weekly, before picking to the duffel bag and walking away. When she was out of sight, she facepalmed, rested her head against a wall and groaned pathetically. After a while of this self-pity party, she checked her back pocket. On it was a number, and the stranger’s first name, which she read aloud to herself;

”Jean-Luc. Yare yare, it’s a small world,” Ms. Mako mused with a glint in her eye, before the smile dimmed. ”But what are you doing here?”

He nodded with a smile, as she remembered his name. He pointed to the room Kaida was in with a thumb jerk over his shoulder. “I was in town on business, and I saw Ms. Beaumont on the tv attacked. I rushed over here to make sure she was being taken care of properly… I’ve known her since she was a baby. With her keeping her quirk a secret, I knew the doctors wouldn’t know how to take care of her.”

He was about to ask why she was here when he remembered she worked at komei as the secretary. Her sudden change in careers made huge news for a bit. But to be honest he kept an eye out for her ever since that day.

“I’m assuming you’re here for the students as well?”

Mako nodded, as if suddenly remembering the entire reason she was here, and headed for Kaida’s room, talking to Mr. Sparks as she walked. Her whole demeanor had changed, and she was all business for the time being. ”That’s right. Well, officially, I just came to drop off their records but I personally want to make sure they’re ok. So, you saw them on TV? What exactly happened?”

He turned and followed her on her right side. When she asked what happened, he hesitated for a moment looking to the principle and skyknights they were getting closer to. But he felt he could be a little more honest with her.

“They were attacked by the shadow clan. Their goal was killing the dark haired boy and take one of the other girls and Kaida back with them. I don’t know what happened and how they failed in their mission. But I’m glad.”

He looked at her, and added. “They won’t be coming for them after this for a while.”

Mako shook her head. ”This is going to be a PR nightmare. Possibly even U. A. levels. Several of our students have been targeted and attacked. I can’t blame the students if they want to withdraw after this, after getting into real Hero combat. Who the hell attacks children?” She growled through gritted teeth, her fists clenched tight, as they approached the Principle and the superhero group known as the Sky Knights.

They were a little young to have faced Madame Obsidian in her prime, but judging from their accolades, they’d have given her a run for her money. She had nothing but respect for the group. Especially now, after they’d helped save the lives of multiple students. She smiled her trademark saccharine smile with eyes closed as she approached. They’d know who she was; the ‘reformed’ former Supervillain who was the current secretary at Komei Academy.

”Hello, there. I don’t know if the Principle has already said this but thank you for saving those kids’ lives!”

”psychopaths…” he said simply to her question. When they came to the others and she thanked them for saving the students. He looked to Aurelia and nodded once again. “It was a good thing you were there. How is that dark haired boy who lost his arm doing?”

Donny looked down back at his feet (or where they'd be if he had any) and remembered he wasn't in his meat sack. If he wasn't feeling pain all over and starting to feel light headed, he might've panicked. But all his problems just seem to ebb and flow from his mind. "Oh... Right. I need my meat sack..." However Donny didn't really bother to go look for it. As far as he could care at the moment, everything was fine. Or at least it should be. But Dulga's harsh commands gave Donny a bit of a wake up call, vaguely remembering the details of his fight. Though frankly all he could remember was the pain, and the one who inflicted it onto him. "I don't... I don't remember much. Short fight. He was... Very strong. Red skin. White Hair. Me and Yozakura-san we.... We fought him. Well she did. I wanted to run. But I couldn't.... Couldn't leave her behind." Donny started getting very tired again. He crawled up against the wall and laid down, his mass spreading out into a puddle.

"Tried... Everything. Wasn't enough. Don't even know how... How we're alive. Might not be... His name was Kensai." Donny tried his best to keep himself together but at this point he wasn't fully healed. His own innate durability was now betraying him as he had pushed himself well beyond the limits of his battered body, and his mass started to spread and seep out of the room like a pool of blood. And try as he might to keep himself together, he was fighting hard enough just to remain conscious. "Yozakura... Yukari... Make sure she's alive..."

Ten, eleven, twelve cats. At this rate Hibiki was going to get over half of the cats to her. But she was so busy running around getting the cats to smell the mint on the toy that she didn't spot Hitomi sneak up on her with the spray can. Instinctively she tried to protect herself thinking that Hitomi was going to attack her. But it wasn't until it was already too late that the girl realized what the true target was. "No no no! Come back!" The cats scattered. The scent from the cat repellent sent all twelve cats running away. Hibiki tossed the toy away but her hand had some lingering stench, not very strong, but any cat that got close to it shied away. Hibiki made a mad scramble to grab as many as she could while the other cats pounced after Hitomi seeking safety and refuge within her fluff. Soon White Hat's timer would hit zero, and he'd raise a red flag. "Stop! That's the end of the competition!" Pictures were immediately taken so that the judges could count the amount of cats both side managed to get at the end of the competition.

The counting went by relatively fast and the results were in five minutes later. White Hat announced it. "Kamui Hibiki had managed to herd four cats. Maeda Hitomi has managed to herd sixteen. The winner is Maeda Hitomi of the Pro Komei Collective!" Cheers erupted from the Pro-Collective side, with Asahi in particular being very loud in his joy. The Anti-Collective simply cursed under their breaths but didn't give up just yet. There was still two more challenges they could win and stop the collective before it could begin. Hibiki looked angrier than usual, but let the cats go gently. She didn't stick around nor even returned to the Anti-collective, and instead just left the area as fast as she could. "Woohoo! Score one for the good guys! Two more competitions after this, but this isn't the time to get cocky. The next one is karaoke and I know none of my guys have any talent in singing. I'm really hoping you or Kishitmoto-san have any skills in the karaoke match."

Heading towards the Dorms

@Feyblue@Silver Carrot

"Ah, Yoshida-san, right? Nice to see you again!" She greeted cheerfully. Kenichi returned her smile, but it was somewhat tight as he tried to stand straighter and not look so beat-to-hell despite the various bandages all over him. "Well, Kasuke thinks she's probably still here in the dorms, but I was going to visit her myself so we could plan some outings this week before Harukaze and I head back. If you want to see her, why not wait here? I'll text her and ask her to come down."

"If she's--" He started to say, "if she's too busy with something, it's not big deal." But, as the fluffy cookie would have probably said, "That was wrong." If he told her not to come if she was busy, he imagined what she would do--she would probably look around wherever she was, her ahoge-tenna pointing upward for maximum reception, and then come to some conclusion like "I'm currently taking an action like carrying books/doing homework/caramelldansen (why did that even pop into his head, but now that it was there he thought it was pretty cute) therefore I'm busy and I shouldn't go meet with him."

"As long as she's not already down for the evening or in the shower, could you tell her it's Yoshida--or Kenichi--and he'd really like to talk with her?" he finally said. But Asuka was already typing, so he figured it would turn out okay one way or the other. Not wanting to seem rude, he turned to Mina while he waited for Fumika's response.

"Ah, Kasuke-chan..." He had almost actually called her -san, because the few times they had interacted she'd been kind of curt, and he himself had decided once after seeing a conversation between her and Jett that she was a little bit on the rude or blunt side. But habit won out, which might be a good thing in this case? At least it might not tip her off immediately that his treatment was a little different than his other classmates. "We, uh, haven't spoken much, huh? I think I remember hearing somewhere that you do Karate?"

Honestly he would have never guessed, seeing the lightness of her build, but then again martial arts were meant to make weaker people able to overcome bigger or stronger people, right? Maybe her kind of karate was less of the "breaking tiles" kind and more of the "beat hardness with softness" kind...but then again wouldn't that be something else? Aikido or something? Kenichi wondered if either of those would be fitting martial arts for him to learn...his entire style thus far was just instinct, throwing out punches and kicks when it made sense to throw them, dodging however he felt he could dodge, and using his pure power and speed to make things hurt more. He didn't realize it on an intellectual level, but the boy was also making use of his quirk to reduce his opponent's ability to read his movements--not just through all his bouncing around, but through the fact that his sheer speed made any telegraphs much less useful if the opponent couldn't react. But, much like Fumika, if they could predict rather than react, his style was still far too easy to defeat.
