• Name: Hikari Towairaito • Title: Twilight Knight • Age: 14 • Emblem: An ebony and silver pendant she keeps chained to her swords hilt. • Devil Arm:Twilight Form - Once being a bearer of light Hikari never sought to wield arms. Her favorite wand being turned into a blade upon corruption. The blade is able to conjure a shield and armor on her person after a dazzling display of white black and silver. The shield is able to deflect bullets and the armor protects against them fairly well also. The set also helps defend against physically damaging magical attacks and the sword is able to be charged with magical energy to cut through barriers. • Magic:Gift of light and Purity- Once a mere babe of light who only opened her eyes to greet the sun Hikari used to strictly help others with her magic. Healing and purifying was her gift. Able to remove the negative emotions in people and their very toxins by simply hugging them and embracing the light in their heart however deep inside.
Twilight Gift Magic of Night - Her purity now corrupted with a streak of black she has stepped into the darkness as a being of light awakening the Twilight within her. She now commands light and darkness however her darkness has greyed her light making her magic more focused on harming rather than helping.
• She can produce a dazzling light that she calls Twilight onto her sword and unleash waves of magical energy that can cut through steel. It also increases the sharpness of her blade, coating it in a magical energy. • She can selfishly heal herself after taking what purity is inside someone else. Their purity can be regained after a day or so. • She can fill someone with her own negative feelings by touching them. • Able to split herself in two, her dark half and light half. The light half does nothing but heal. The dark half is aggressive and berserk. If either one is defeated they merge back together. • Background: Once her naive nature was shown the blood of a fallen friend she fell into despair. Having never witnessed death before she was broken by it and had to withstand the agony of losing her gift. She was visited by people on a regular basis to see her gifts heal their minds and body. But a group of armed men chose to kidnap her and hold her for ransom. Within the scuffle to get a hold of her a friend of hers died. In that moment she wanted those men dead and such a primal urge was foreign to her.
Sickened by the horrors of the world her purity was corrupted and her healing wand was turned into a death dealing blade. Donning the armor she was able to slay the would be suspects. Staining herself with red and never returning to the old ways of her happy joyful life. Not without her only friend in the world dead, her old brother who protected her and was her only care giver. • Inventory: A flute she plays. Another Night
A young girl sat at the park beneath the fading light of the sunset. She was nearly translucent with all her white on. Long flowing silver hair, a white top and shorts and black shoes were all she had on. Her attire danced on her petite pale body as she sat with down cast eyes. A sheathed blade in her arms and tears flowing onto its surface. It was a reminder to her of her loss and her pain. But worst of all it was all she had left.
She continued to sit. In a time lapse she would not have moved. Yet the light faded away until there was nothing but street lights left. She looked up to see the moths dancing around the light. Behind the light emerged a greater darkness she did not notice. She merely peered into the light itself as if entranced like the moths by its luminescence. She blinked. A few vibrations causing her tears to stir and fall on her lap. The cold sensation waking her.
She looked over behind the light to see a nightmare crawling into a massive form not only behind the light but behind several trees. A low growl of hunger met her ears from this creature. Her eyes widened before she gripped her sheathed weapon tightly. Suddenly she began to give off a feint glow that was enveloped in darkness with holes of lights swirling around the surface like a galaxy. Unsheathing her sword a flash of light and a whirl of darkness to suppress it gave way to her armored form, shield and all.
"Destroy..." She spoke softly with a sorrowful expression. Her blade glistened with particles of sparkling light on its blackened surface before she waved it at the creature's white mask which peered at her, the rest of its forms bubbling up to engulf her. The sky darkening as it did so. She turned after doing a single swipe of her blade. The sparkling twilight that was on the blade went flying outward like expelled water in a curved stream that went through the creature and its mask. The twilight dissipated in the nights sky returning a shallow display of light to the sky around her.
She sheathed the blade and the nightmare's mask cut in two pieces as well as its form. It shrieked and writhed before collapsing into vanishing goo in the parks darkest corners. "I live only to destroy now.. This is my fate." Her armor vanished in a flash of light that was enveloped in darkness until it was no more. The small girl held onto her sheathed weapon tightly. Tears still streaming down her face as she laid on the bench in the park and slept...

• Devil Arm: It was once a beautiful light purple violin that have a red ribbon at scroll, it would play beautiful melody music that attack nightmares. But ever since Akumi fall into darkness, the violin become dark and rusty with a color of dark purple, a once melody music turn into gothic that could stab any nightmares with one note. The only thing that didn't change was the red ribbon but it been little torn up.
• Magic: Akumi once play melody music that release a stream of light, it move like a little wave and it attack nightmares, not violently but effective. But ever since she became a dark magical girl, her stream of light transform into blades of darkness that move rapidly like 'snakes' and would stab any nightmares with one note.

Age: 16
Once your traditional sparkly magic wand, it has become as dark and twisted as its owner. It can also elongate into a sword to finish off enemies, just like before.
Magic: Decay- A warped version of Amazon's super strength, Wither possesses the ability to rot, erode, and sicken. People become weak and ill at her touch, wood rots in her presence- even inorganic things like stone, metal, and plastic aren't immune, though these take longer and more work to corrode. She can also fire off blasts of sickness at a target to incapacitate it. Sickness blasts are a more targeted and stronger version of her aura. Victims start feeling ill and lethargic with weaker attacks, but if she puts more into it, like in the sample, she can cause targets to collapse in exhaustion and even fall unconscious.
Background: Once, Kelly was a champion of justice. Granted strength so great she could crack the earth with a single blow, the heroine Amazon was known far and wide as an icon of all that was kind and good in the world. A paragon. But that was in the past. Now, she is lost to darkness.
The problem with being a magical girl is rather simple: the two distinct identities. Sure, it makes hiding a breeze, but if you're not transformed, you're just as vulnerable as everyone else. Kelly learned this the hard way, when she was hit by an inattentive driver while crossing the street. Barely able to walk, when the Detention Club's mascot came for her, she was all too willing to accept. People called it a miracle, but she knew better.
Kelly is dead. Amazon is dead. There is only Wither.

A trail of cracked, worn asphalt followed in Wither's wake, an unavoidable side effect of her powers. It would be back to normal in a few minutes once she left, a fact she was grateful for. Otherwise, it would be a neon sign pointing to her location. Crack the doors, destroy the locks to the deposit boxes, fill up the bag, and get out. Simple enough. But I can't shake the feeling that I've forgotten something...
Wither concentrated as she reached the bank doors. Obviously, they were locked after hours, but even the heavy metal doors were no match for her powers. Focusing the corruptive energies through her hands, she watched as the barrier became brittle and rusted, until it fell apart at the slightest touch. She looked at her watch with distaste. Two minutes. I must be out of practice.
Upon reaching the teller desks, Wither heard footsteps behind her. Ah, that's what I forgot. The night watchman. With a silent whirl, she conjured balls of black, weakening energy, then threw them at the guard who collapsed in a limp heap upon impact. The young girl checked her victim's pulse- he'd survive, but he'd be confined to a bed for weeks. As she corroded the bottoms of the teller drawers to get to the cash within, she hummed a merry tune. Life was good.
• Name: Sera Naichingēru • Title: Nightingale • Age: 14 • Emblem: A small gold chain tied around her wrist. • Devil Arm: What was once a noble sword used to protect the helpless, the Devil Arm transformed along with the Nightingale's ideals; tearing and shredding into segments able to controlled with the flip of her wrist. • Magic: Shadow magic - Perhaps the darkness was in her heart from the beginning. Her magic allowed her to make convincing copies of her image form from the shaddow; allowing the magical girl to safely retreat or rush elsewhere. But now her shaddow forms are more violent; able to be manipulated and lash out with physical presence. Although weak to hits, the twisted shaddows are excellent at restraining foes and bare them open to her attacks. • Background: As she set off on her crusade, she quickly grew tired of having to save the ones unable to stand upon their own two feet. No matter how many times she had to run the same routine over and over; there was always one more person she had to protect. After a long and tiring battle with a Nightmare; all it took was a scared kid to push her over the edge. Taking out her own problems on the one who dared to protest her, the protector of all these ungrateful, sorry, little punks. • Inventory: Rope - Any good adventurer never underestimates the power of a good, sturdy rope. Knife - Second only to rope, a good knife is all you need to get out of most situations.
"Aaah!" Sera was quickly thrown to the side by the brute of a Nightmare as it shambled forward. As much as she stood in its way with her sword drawn, it continued to march forward knocking away both her and her images with ease and no sense of slowing. But she wouldn't give up, she couldn't. Behind her was a young child that couldn't possibly last any longer than she had.
Again, she threw herself against the coming Nightmare; thrusting in with her sword, but only stabbing in tip deep before the foe swung back its arm and brushed her aside with no indication her sword was even having an affect. Tears welled in her eyes as she felt utterly useless, doubled by the pain of being thrown around with such ease and tripled by the thoughts of being unable to protect anyone.
Time was running short and it was now or never if she was going to stop the Nightmare. Once more she jumped into the Nightmare's path, swinging her sword in a mad haze as she gave everything she had. The fist came flying at her as always, but this time she flinched as she let it hit her with full force. The pain hit her whole body at once, but she took the opportunity to grab hold. She was willing to die before she let the monster though. Clinging to the arm, she swung her sword as best she could at the beast; giving it small niks here and there. The Nightmare tired to free itself from the grasp, smashing its arm, and the girl along with it, against the ground repeatedly.
Air sputtered from her lungs and pain wracked her body as she gasped to catch her breath. Her entire body felt like fractured glass; ready to crumble to pieces apart from her will to stop the monster. Though she kept her hold, continuing to swing her sword and jabbing it in the monster's face. Its fist slammed back with full force, pinning the magical girl against the ground and then lifting her into the air. Sera's vision was obscured by the hand that held her into the air, but it was her final chance as her body hanged there to pained to move. She lifted her sword and let it drop with every ounce of force she could muster; slicing the Nightmare in twain as it was finally defeated.
Sera dropped to the ground and peered at the child behind her. He was unharmed, thankfully. Sera stumbled to her feet and offered her hand to the boy. As much trouble as it was, it was worth it.
"No!" A loud slap echoed out as her arm was slapped away from the kid.
But..., why....?
"This is all your fault!" Sera's heart sank into a black hole and her eyes glossed over. A scowl crept over her face as she couldn't take it any further. At once, her latent rage took hold. Powers and fury directed at the young boy without restraint.
First and foremost, I don't see what age she is; unless the sentence in her Magical Girl appearance hider is the age? Also, the image for her current appearance isn't working. Secondly, can you describe the "blasts of sickness" magic she has more clearly? Are they the same effects as her withering aura?
Finally, there are a few issues with her backstory and sample post. I don't think the Detention Club would capture and torture her; the point of Dark Magical Girls is that they turned evil of their own choice. I'll need to discuss this with my Co-GM to see if this will be allowed or not. As for her sample post, some things don't make sense. One of the rules the Detention Club enforces is to not reveal themselves to the public, just as any Magical Girl wouldn't. It makes no sense for her to be robbing a bank and the Detention Club would never order her to.
Consider these points and when you're ready, we'll look at her CS again.
I'd like to know, did Sera kill the boy in her backstory? If so that's fine, though keep in mind the Detention Club enforces a no killing policy. Since this happened before she joined, it's allowed. Aside from that to consider, she's fine by me. Await the Co-GM's opinion.
