A smile crossed Magnus' lips as he reciprocated the handshake to Ozzy, already feeling like the owl harpy could prove to be an excellent addition to their ranks. Most of them were fighters, but someone had to deal with the intellectual jobs, like translating and map-making. That library would finally get some use, it seemed. He was careful not to just crush the bird man's hand, simply giving him a light shake that ALMOST lifted him off the ground from the upward motion.

Magnus was thankful that Bart was so understanding, but realized he had been foolish and not requested payment BEFORE Kyle's flight. It hadn't even crossed his mind, being honest, and now there was no hope of repayment. Graverobbing wasn't a habit of his. Shaking his head glumly, Magnus said: "H-He didn't...I'm sorry Bart." With not much to feel good about today, Magnus resigned himself to whatever he deserved, whether it be less food at dinner, or being made to do more chores. He had been failing to get paid on a lot of jobs recently, and it was starting to weigh on his mind. Hearing that Talia was out of town at a doctor's had Magnus looking a bit afraid, worried at the prospect of her dying while away. Shaking his head quickly, Magnus said: "No! I-I want to...no...I have to tell her myself. He never would have tried flying if I hadn't taken this job...s-so...its my responsibility."

With that unpleasant conversation out of the way, Magnus wished he could comfort Yang, since he knew that the guilt of seeing their client fall to his doom was eating away at her too. Maybe talking to Ozzy would cheer them both up. He did seem the talkative sort, and very polite. Accepting his offer of a held open door, Magnus bowed his head to Ozzy as he stepped inside. He'd have a lot to talk about if asked; His home, the Ancient Northern Labyrinth, and the warrior culture his father raised him in. He didn't know if Yang would talk, but he'd love to hear more about where she came from. A human getting so strong was something impressive, and he wondered if maybe she could train him to be...braver, or something. He had no idea.

"Its fine, Neil. Still, you performed excellently." Nephele responded, keeping her eyes trained on the wagon as she watched with Neil.

In an hour's time, Talia was treated, and Nephele felt herself grow calmer once that news hit her ears. Better yet was that they would be able to pay the doctor mothwoman with a simple meeting with Titanica, rather than an expensive gold fee for her services. The doctor seemed excessively eager to get going, and, Nephele felt that they had to oblige her. It was only fair, after all.

At Talia's thanks, Nephele shook her head softly. "I haven't done much worth thanking. I simply did what any member of our guild would have done for someone in need." she said, looking at Neil be flustered out of the corner of her eye. Giving Neil a slight smack on the middle of his back, Nephele began heading towards the wagon. "Let us be off then, Neil. Titanica has a visitor to entertain," she said as she readied to leave.

Looking at the doctor who would be traveling with them, Nephele was now certain she was far different from how Eilidh had been. Perhaps it was simply a regional difference, but something felt...not quite as it seemed with her. Unsure of how exactly to question her about it however, she opted to drop it. If there was something odd about her, then that would come to light when she and Titanica met. ...Thinking of it, the girl was fairly young to be a doctor or a cleric of some sort, wasn't she? Morgan likely would notice the dragoness stare at her for a few long moments, before she focused her attention on returning home.

"There's nothing to forgive. We are all relieved to report that we are not here primarily on business. And, uh...we are all hungry and weary for we have travelled, but food and rest is....all we will be needing in terms of hospitality. I cannot speak for my companions but Centaur customs are very strict on what you can and cannot do before marriage."
Eilidh Chiron

"Oh, don't be mistaken, Miss Centaur. All the couples you see around you are all, more or less, married." Gina corrected. "Anyway, follow me and I shall take you to some inns that provides those which you seek." The Gandharva then began to lead the group through the Shrine-Town and its love-filled streets. "I'll make sure that the chefs don't put any... additional ingredients in your food."

"On a second thought, maybe I shouldn't..."

"We were told you had a job that needs taken care of."
Titanica

"Ah yes, Ravager's Rest." Gina mentioned the bandit fortress up north. "We haven't formed any decent plans on dealing with that place yet. Perhaps you've had better luck?" Gina asked the Guild members. "Found anything or anyone that may help us with that damnable fortress?"

The Guild have indeed found help with George but the drug merchant said not to mention him or the plan yet to anyone in the Shrine-Town of Eros. The Guild members may want to practice discretion here but that was their choice.

"You will be staying here for the night, yes? Or will you just be eating?" Gina asked the Guild. "If so, I shall arrange a room or two for you."

"I'll try to help with that Master Bart if theres time. I'm not a carpenter, but at least I wont need a ladder."
Ozzy Skyway

"Haha! Well, I'll let you help the actual carpenters once I find them." Bart chuckled.

"H-He didn't...I'm sorry Bart."
Magnus Eissenhoeff

"Well... that's a shame." Bart sighed. "Good luck with Talia."

Just when Bart and the others were about to head inside, the trotting of horses and the rolling of wheels made everyone stop and turn. A wagon arrived with Nephele at the helm and its passengers being Neil, Talia and a girl who appeared to be a Mothwoman. "Hey! You guys are back! How's Talia?" Bart greeted Nephele and her company.

"Talia's fine! We found a healer in Mahigan." Neil responded from the back. "This is her, her name's Morgan." Neil introduced Morgan. "Apparently she knows Titanica and wants to meet her." He explained.

"Oh. Well, Titanica and her group aren't here yet and it's getting pretty late." Bart revealed. "She might be coming really late or will be staying somewhere else. Sorry."

Neil shrugged and returned to Morgan. "Don't worry, Morgan. She'll come back sooner or later. In any case, welcome to the Guild." The boy told the kaiju. "Yes, that's our name, 'The Guild'. I hope it doesn't cause any confusion." He then looked at the building itself. While there was a gaping hole at the entrance, the structure was built with stone and metal. Reminiscent of Dwarven design and architecture.

Once the reunion was complete, Bart was the first to speak. "Well then everyone! Now that we're all together, it looks like our dinner might be a loud one. Come on, let's go inside and our newcomers can introduce themselves while we eat." Bart led the group inside where dinner and conversation would be held in the Dining Hall.

"Hey, guys... can you... can you go on without me? I just... I just need some fresh air, alright?" Neil backed out from the group. "I'll catch up later, okay? Don't worry about me."

~@ZekariVoblis~

You responded to Bart's invitation and found yourself in this region, making your way to the designated location in the middle of the night. Dark clouds blocked what little light the Moon had to offer so the entire area was almost as dark as pitch. Whether you carried a torch to light the way or not, you reached your destination without incident.

There, in the middle of the darkness, was a great structure made of stone and metal. The lights from it made it seem like a beacon in the dark. Approaching closer, you notice that its stone architecture was very similar to that of Dwarven design. So similar, in fact, that it would almost seem that it was they who constructed this building. Nevertheless, this was the designated location so this must be where Bartholomew Barker started his guild.

You notice that there was a hole on the entrance and it did not seem it was an intentional design. At the same time, you notice a brown-haired boy sitting on the front lawn, gazing at the dark clouds above. It appeared he was spacing out and it took a while before he noticed you. "Oh, oh! Uh, hello there!" He greeted, startled. "Welcome-- Welcome to the Guild. Do you-- Do you need something?"

Teelfa Silverwind

Teelfa tucked the note that labeled how to get to this town and guild in her pocket as she looked around. It was unfortunate how late she ended up getting here, but such is life, eh? Her torch kept the path there comfortably lit and gave a nice bit of warmth. Of course, she didn’t need all that much, but it was a good security tool if anything. As her eyes looked over the building, a small child came out to greet her. He seemed a tad startled, surprising her a bit. You’d think that I should be the one shocked if anything...Oh well… She knelt down gently, enough to make better eye contact though hopefully not enough to startle him more. That trademark smile was also on her face.

”Well, thank you, little man. As a matter of fact, yes I do.” She pointed a finger to the building as she looked towards the guild, as it apparently was. ”Bartholomew Baker is in here, right? I’m supposed to meeting him today, though I got here a tad late. My own bad.” She looked back down at the younger boy as she gave a thumbs up to him and a soft chuckle. He seemed familiar enough with the place, so maybe he knew where to go? ”Could you possibly bring him out for me? Or at least show me where I need to go?”

The more she thought about it though, it seemed strange. A child by himself in the middle of the night, let alone working in the Guild apparently? Perhaps the boy was his son or his little brother? Then again, there’s also the fact that also is not as it seemed in this world. He could be hundreds of years older than her for all she knew or simply taking a form she was comfortable with. More than likely, there was no danger, but it was still an odd sight.

Bast Ragoczy

Bast couldn't help but to raise his eyebrow as he witnessed how... liberal the people from that city were. He wasn't anyone to judge their lifestyle but at least for him it felt a bit... exotic to see couples expressing their love for each other so... passionately in public. It wasn't that much of a surprise since that was in fact a town dedicated to love and romance, but it took a bit of getting used to.

When they arrived at the inn, they were greeted by a familiar face, which apparently wasn't that happy to see them again. It was Gina, the Ghandarva from a previous mission. Even though they were approaching as guests, she was quick to show her obvious dissatisfaction to them.

"A bit too late for apologies or for trying to change the mood, especially after souring it so spectacularly as you just did, don't you think, Miss Gina?" Bast asked, with a cold stare. He would have continued, but Eilidh's voice and embarrassment upon seeing so many... intimate acts refreshed his mood a bit.

"Well, I guess it cant be helped. It would be better to let what is past in the past, wouldn't it?" Bast said.

"Me and Eilidh I'm sure you already know. The new faces you see are Titanica and Vară. I'm sure they can introduce themselves much better then I can if you ask them to." Bast said, with a flourished hand gesture as if he was encouraging her to talk with them.

"Regarding what do we need, I am not the one in charge here today. My dear Eilidh is." Bast said, with a smirk as he looked to Eilidh.

"Today, I'm yours, my dear Eildih." Bast said, with a joyful smile.

"That said, what do you wish to do? Sightseeing? I reckon you enjoyed walking through the city the first time we came here. I can't say it's really my style, but I cant deny it has a very refreshing and calming charm to it." Bast said, looking to Eilidh.

Freyr

Freyr heard Haley's suggestion silently. While he appreciated how far was she willing to go to help him, cheating wasn't something he was very... fond of. Call it pride or honor, but Freyr was a Viera and one of the things they were famous for was their hunting skills.

"I appreciate your offer, Haley. But I don't think it would be right to cheat. My body is different from a human's and I was accustomed to use the type of bow we Vieras make ourselves so using a human bow is a bit difficult to adapt to." Freyr explained.

"Besides that, I wouldn't be ok by asking you to do something that would make you uncomfortable." he said with a kind smile.

"I just have to try my best. Who knows... If I get to the finals, I might convince this Saburo to let me use my own bow. I could even lend it to him. Even though I doubt he would be able to use it." Freyr said picking the competition bow once more. Even if that could potentially mean the failure of the mission, he wouldn't cheat. Hunting was something that was a part of his being. Be it with a dagger, his claws or a bow, he was incredibly skilled in all of them. After all, if he wasn't he would be dead long ago due to the Vieran woods' dangerous fauna.

"Thinking a little bit about it... I may be able to earn Saburo's attention..." Freyr mumbled to himself, just before he walked to one of the referees who were responsible for the competition.

"May I make a small, simple request? I would want to be able to take a second shot after the 'official' one, but using my bow. Would that be allowed?" Freyr asked to the man.

"Nothing official, of course. These shots won't count to the competition. Think of it as just a way for me to try and adapt myself to these bows you provided as we Vieras have a different body physiology than humans. The bows we use ourselves handle very differently from these." Freyr explained.

"Found anything or anyone that may help us with that damnable fortress?"

The Titan would be the one to speak up regarding the matter.

"We..." Titanica started but not before pausing to remember what the Drug Dealer mentioned. While she didn't trust him considerably, she still had a sense of honor within her that kept her from mentioning his name. "May have a possible lead. However the person in question needs simply time."

Leaving the drug-dealer anonymous may have saved his reputation for the mean time, but they need to keep a watchful eye on what he might do. Will he come with help? Or trouble? Either way, it didn't matter at this point. At that point Gina offered them a room to stay, with Titanica agreeing to this notion. It was then when her stomach began to grumble loudly upon smelling some fresh meat being grilled nearby. Having not eaten for several hours since they left for their first mission, the titan approached the nearest booth and ordered for several plates of roasted pork, beef, and chicken.

She ate all of them in one sitting... without sharing.

Later that evening, Morgan along with her new friends arrived back at the guildhall. While the mothwoman introduced herself to her new companions, he was informed that Titanica was currently on a mission and would not be back for long while.

"No problem," the bubbly Morgan replied, although a little disappointed that she couldn't see her at this very moment, "I can wait in the meantime."

It was then when he entered The Guild hall and began to party with the rest of the others inside.

Yang Bethlehem

"White Tiger temple is one of the four main temples and located the on the western side of Zipangu. Traders from the outside world often land there first, so perhaps its where they hear of us." Yang happily explained to Ozzy before she recalled one of the more popular reason. "Or the yearly fighting tournaments held by our temples as well."

"But as to what a disciple do? Well, that's a bit more simple." She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly "We're students that graduated from the temple and permitted to travel the world."

"Some learn medicines, teachings, but most of us journey to improve our martial arts before returning." Yang proudly stated that before deflating her shoulders a little at recent events. All that martial strength can't do anything at times.

@Lmpkio

During that, she noticed the new-comer and bowed her head towards her quickly. "Greetings."

Although one of the other details she noticed was that this mothwoman was much more...different. Not unlike her previous partners, this felt elderly. The closest she can say is that she has her old master presence that had been around and alive longer than she was.

Then again, it could be just her. She pushed the thought away as she invited the mothwoman to the guild. "Welcome to our guild, it's a little beat up for now but we'll get that fixed soon."

She cracked a joke to alleviate some of the brevity in her and mood.

"So what does an anthrophologist does besides the studies of relation and culture?" Yang cringed slightly through her smile as she had no doubt absolutely butchered whatever his profession name was. She never heard of that profession before from where she came.

Yang then moved and invited Ozzy and Magnus to sit down as they chatted for the night.

"Speaking of which, which school of martial arts you came from Magnus?" She asked him curiously, the boy looked strong. Minusing the choice of the horns and mane aside, she was interested in learning his arts.

@AzureKnight @PaulHaynek @13org

Ditzy Stoneclub

"Ah, Freyr is competing!" Ditzy eagerly said as he pointed to the tournament and rested on Freyr from afar. Unaware that he was at Saburo's attention.

"He's the one with the long bunny ears. You can't miss him!" Ditzy described to Saburo. "He's too likes to talk about arrows, though Ditzy didn't understand alot of it."

"But how many arrows have you make? You must make a lot if you're so popular." Ditzy made some small chat with Saburo, his request all but forgotten as he conversed with Saburo. "And who normally use your arrows? They must be strong if you only let some use them."

"Papa only know how to make tables and shape wood parts though, oh!" Ditzy then excitedly showed his father greatest handiwork, though it never really seemed like it, the sandbag weapon he was carrying. "Papa said this was the best thing he made for me!"

His lifted his sandbag to let both Saburo and Nagare see it. The thing he had dragged or carried all the way throughout the journey was a sandbag, rather than a traditional hob-goblin club. It was much smaller compared to the clubs.

But on closer inspection, if Saburo deigned it worth the effort to do so in his opinion, a quick glance at it would reveal that the sandbag was indeed well-made and crafted to absolutely last. The exterior looked beaten up but it was only the pattern of the hide than any actual worn or tear, the whole thing seemed solid like a block.

The sling that Ditzy held had also multiple threads that looked like spider's silk underneath it, all woven tightly and intertwined in a criss-cross pattern to ensure flexibility but also sublime tautness when weight or force is applied. Four of them crossed one another to ensure that proper distribution happens as well.

It looked ordinary on the outside but Saburo will note that it was indeed something that a master craftsman made through experience, practicality, and functionality foremost. That a weapon of this degree of craftsmen required showed that the user was not ordinary as well since it was designed to take as much punishment and force.

"More or less..." Muttered Eilidh under her breath with an air of doubt, as she followed Gina through the town, unfortunately having to pass the sights, sounds and smells of the 'more or less married' couples. After a while she had to stop and rest against a wall, panting, with a heavy blush on her face.

"Yes, please refrain from putting anything suspicious in my food, unless it's a sedatrive or a tranquilliser. Just walking through these streets is more aphrodisiac than a Centaur's senses can handle. The sooner we get somewhere I can sit down, drink a pint of water and take a bracing cold shower, the better."

The talk of the job between Titanica, Gina, and Bast was a welcome distraction, and Eilidh listened as she struggled along. The talk did not last very long, though, and Bast consulted Eilidh on her next move. "Oh, well, I'm hungry and in need of rest, but if at all possible, I would like to continue our Journey today, so we will not be needing a room. That is, unless everybody else would rather stay the night and carry on the journey tomorrow. In the meantime, yes. A calming walk does sound rather nice right now. Just...don't even so much as hold my hand until we're out of the streets and my senses are fully cleared of these sounds and sights. I am not jesting."

Magnus did his best to paint a favorable picture of his rather grim sounding hometown. Located within a gargantuan labyrinth, his family on his mother's side have served as guardians to a large den of monsters, that since the ascension of the newest demon lord flourished, as monsters could drag their spouses there to exist in peace. The labyrinth was infamously unconquerable, to the extent that most skilled adventurers could maybe only make it halfway through before hitting a roadblock consisting of Golems, Gazers, Minotaurs, and even a few Cursed Armors. It was a bit odd to be describing his home in such a grim way, and as such he switched to talking about the delicious food grown from the underground farm areas.

That conversation dragged for a bit, and seemed to have gotten Magnus hungry judging from the rumbling erupting from his direction. What impressed him more was Yang's home, which seemed like a place he'd heard of before. He was certain that his father mentioned that he'd crossed fists with one of the monks from there and fought to a draw, a feat rarely possible from his monstrously strong father. Noticing that she got up and bowed, Magnus hastily rose up and gave a rather awkward bow, simply replying with a similarly stated greeting of: "Hello!" Which...since he didn't say anything to follow up, made it a bit of an odd choice. He just didn't want to say the same thing.

When Yang asked about where he had learned to fight, Magnus' ears twitched a bit, before he frowned for a moment. "W-Well...it isn't really a school, per say...but, my father taught me the arts of the Berserker." he said. Immediately, Yang would recognize the occupation; Warriors of the farthest reaches of the north who would send themselves into a blood soaked rampage, decimating anything and everything in their path, be it friend or foe. It was rather paradoxical to think that someone so shy and reserved could ever be a Berserker, but rumors said that each Berserker developed a certain method to induce the blood rage, and to keep it at bay; While it was impossible to fully control it, it could be regulated somewhat outside of intense circumstances. "My father taught me how to use an axe, too. Other than that I...really don't know any martial arts," Magnus added after a moment's pause, scratching the back of his head. It was a bit embarrassing to ask her out of the blue to teach him.

Realizing that Talia was back, Magnus' heart sunk as he clenched his fist, desperately wanting to not have to break her heart like this...but it was something he had to do. Getting up, he resolved himself to it and grit his teeth, striding over to her once she was inside and seated.

"Talia I...I-I have something I need to tell you."

The cave dragoness stepped out from the wagon, relieved that their ordeal was through. It was a scary thought to think that someone had come close to death after a fight, and, looking at the faint mark of the wound upon here arm, Nephele thanked the gods that she hadn't been so grievously injured as to promote infection in the wound. If those assassins had been carrying poisoned knives, she felt that it may have been a larger problem...but even then, she is resistant to most forms of natural poison. Nephele turned her attention to Neil as he said that he needed some time alone, just after they had all gotten seated for dinner.

Her curiosity piqued, and she wondered if this meant that he was going off on his own to engage in some otherworldly activity, since it was so...strange of an excuse when there was a hole in the building bringing fresh air in constantly. Once she was certain most people's attentions were placed elsewhere, the dragoness rose from her seat with her meal left mostly untouched to go spy at Neil from the edge of the hole, taking care not to show her whole body in case he turned around. It was then that she saw a woman approach, and, seeing that she was likely a prospect for the guild, she hurriedly ducked her head back behind the wall. It was unlikely, but she had the feeling the girl had seen her. Regardless, she would return to her dinner, satisfied in knowing that Neil wasn't doing cool other-world stuff without her. When she returned, she would see Magnus approaching Talia, with a rather grim look on his face...it was then that she felt today might have just gone from bad to worse for Talia.

Vară Riemsianne

@PaulHaynek @Silver Carrot @13org @Lmpkio

"Greetings peasant, I am the current heiress to the Riemsianne hou-"

Before the fire demon even finished her sentence, her nose was filled with the delicious scent of food in the air. Completely ignoring Gina's inquiry of the given situation, she quickly made her way to various booths. "Hail there! I'll take this, and that one, and three of these!" She had several plates filled to the brim with pastries and sweets. Vară then began to grab every spice condiment she could put her hands on; her plates was soon drench with some much spice that even just a whiff of it could send one's nostrils ablaze.

Vară sat in the seat nearest to her, which coincidentally was right beside Titanica, and began stuffing her face full of the assortment of confectioneries and dessert items stacked on her plates. One would be surprised how much a little thing like Vară could fit into her modest frame, indeed she even gave the dragon lady a run for her money (or lizard lady, Vară still wasn't sure at this point...)

Before anyone even realized, Vară had already finished four plates of sweets in one sitting. She didn't show signs of stopping, either.

Nagare

@PaulHaynek @Restalaan

It seemed like her and Ditzy's efforts began to payoff somewhat, Lord Saburo seemed to be interested in meeting Freyr. Nagare watched as Ditzy showed him a sandbag that his father made for him. The ice dragon was a little interested herself, knowing probably even less about hobgoblin culture than human's. Her innate lust for valuable items wasn't set off much by the sandbag, but she could at least tell there was alot of effort put into its crafting.

"Ah yes! Mr. Freyr is the name of the fellow arrow enthusiast and is also participating in the tournament. Rest assured, you won't be disappointment after you see the craftsmanship of his people! Not to mention his archery skills, why I dare say he could very well win the entire competition! Um...not to say that his skills surpass yours in any way, milord."

Nagare still had to watch herself carefully, she had to keep his interest while not annoying or disrespecting him in anyway. Looking at his weapon, she could tell he took his pride very seriously, perhaps a little too much..?

"What say you, Lord Saburo? Would you care to meet Mr. Freyr, maybe during a short intermission in the competition?"

Ozzy's enthusiasm and skill at social protocols were in full swing as he effortlessly flitted from conversation to conversation, his keen mind able to change subjects at the drop of a dime.

@The Irish Tree (Magnus and Nephele)
The minotaur would have no trouble picking up the harpy with his hand shake. Ozzy's eyes noticably widened by the accidental strength. His hollow bones felt under strain as the strength gripped him, and his 'lighter than he looks frame' would need to need his use his feet claws to remain in contact with the ground. Magnus released him, leaving the harpy with a giant forced smile at the surprise, but sure enough they seemed to have a kinship right off the bat.

Ozzy holding the door for him, he offered a word or two of sympathy at the Magnus' obvious misfortune "Apologies for the rough job. We can only hope tomorrow is better. Once everyone's in, I'll get tea and coffee going. I want to hear all about where youre from." So the harpy didn't dwell and tragic things, maybe desperate to start the night on the best foot.

Nephele, the woman. Those scales, the horns. Is she? No way a Dragon!? He never even saw one, they were always written as being so dangerous. He had an intensity about her and Ozzy felt a little nervous when her gaze fell on him. He knew he wasn't going to hit it off with everyone, but the amount of different types of monster... just how many were in this guild. He nodded his head in a mock bow. "Welcome back, my name is Ozmodius Skyway. Hoping to join your prestiguous ranks. I hope we could be friends." He seemed to relax hearing his own voice in greeting. "I'm sorry, I really have to ask. Are you a dragon? I mean, it only just because I never met one, and just to say, just to have the opportunity-" he seemed giddy. "Sorry sorry. Nice to me you." he'd let her pass for dinner.

@Restalaan (Yang)

Ozzy gave a little jump in excitement when Yang approached, answering his question. "Zipangu! Ahah I knew it! I went to a restaurant once and spoke with the owner from Zipangu. Then I simply had to read about it. The amount of cultures, human and monster! So exotic and so rich! What a dream it would be to visit." Door at his back, he still seemed to be completely animated, even putting his hands together, entwining his fingers as if praying while he gushed.

She shyly explained what she was, his eyes seeming to beam at the concepts of students, medicines, and martial arts training. To his eyes, she seemed to be a living wonder. "Madame Yang, you have to tell me all about your temple, Zipangu, everything! I mean if it's not too much trouble. Personally I'd be ecstatic if I just got a lesson." He formed his hands into knife hands and swung them up and down in a rather goofy way. "I wish I knew some of your moves yesterday. I got tripped up by a Tentacle Plant before getting here. I was almost a goner." She bid to join his new companions, but he checked back to see whom else was coming in.

@Lmpkio (Morgan)

A mothman, the fuzzy antennae gave it away, and this is where the harpy delved way way back to his studies. He only had one encounter with a mothman, and the poor girl looked incredibly distracted when Ozzy tried to ask her question. She just fluttered, flying in circles giggling to herself and gave responses that didn't actually help Ozzy understand their culture. Researching further, he wondered if they were just solitary monsters, and described as 'simple' in disposition. Not necessarily stupid or beastial but they weren't great thinkers either.

But it was said that she was a doctor, and that meant she was also a woman of science and reason, and frankly he was not going to let that slip either. Maybe the first time was just a fluke. Still don't take any chance.

"Welcome. How do you do?" Ozzy spoke a little slower in tone, mostly just to make sure she was paying attention to him and to make sure he didn't talk too fast, a problem he had last time. He put his hands and wings together and bowed, his feathery eye lashes falling like antenae on his brow. "First time as well? Me too. I hope we have a great start, and become great friends." He said, offering her the same cordial greeting. "I'd love to know where you got your schooling. A monster doctor is so rare outside certain sub-species. And goodness knows we always need more."

@ZekariVoblis Telfa @PaulHaynek Bart and Neil

Another comer named Neil was going to call it a night elsewhere, Ozzy made sure to give him a wave as well as he left. Never having the chance to really introduce himself. Master Bart suggested they all eat and Ozzy was eager to assist in such small matters. "Let me assist Master Bart. I make a mean Potato Au Gratin... If you have cheese and potatoes I mean." He chuckled.

He gave one last look in the growing darkness. It was only thanks to his bird attuned eyes that he could even see that far, but Neil was associating with someone else. Maybe another guild member, maybe a client. He made sure to stay at his post, his wing caped frame silhouetting in the distance. With a big grin he waved, "Hey! Welcome, err um, welcome back!" Again not quite sure if the new comer was already a member. Ozzy was making alot of assumptions already but he was kind of hitting a pretty good stride. He made sure to remain where he was for them to enter, but wouldn't be remiss if they decided to go with Neil before entering himself.

Despite Ozzy's claims, he let his harpy nature reveal itself, he was quick to remark on the Dwarven finish and seemed to find reasons to get excited about every little thing, no matter how mundane or simple it seemed. He seemed almost a child in this new place, but spouting knowledge and useless facts about seemingly the age and make and design of a wall, door, or frame. Dinner would be well on its way of being prepared before Ozzy was going to help, only to remember that Yang and Magnus we're talking and he was welcomed to join.

Yang asked about him as he took a seat near Magnus and Yang, hoping the mothman, the dragon, or any of the new members would also join them in conversations and dinner. "An Anthropologist." He corrected politely. He tilted his head at her question. "Besides study? Well, I guess whatever application we can educate and teach from what we discover. My dad for instance one helped with the adjustment to a human town with a newly residented lamia clan. He helped the chiefs and artisans make the changes to their homes so they are more suitable for both villagers and their lamia wives, and in return, the lamia's greatly helped with the villages ranching and hunting in the dry lands due to their natural resistance to heat. I guess it's all about bringing folks together." He smiled proudly a finger pointed upward. "With science."

The conversation went to Magnus and partway through, Ozzy had to pull out his book and hang on the Minotaurs every grim word about the labyrinth. Personally Ozzy was interested in the ruins themselves and asked some follow ups mostly about- who built them, why, and what kind of sustainability there was in such an underground and dangerous place, but they they discussed the underground farms. "So you grow what, like mushrooms?"

Ozzy seemed to be take changes in topics quite easily.

Then he answered Yangs question. "I've heard of them. Warriors that use rage almost like its magic. Incredible! I can only imagine the amount of work to learn something like that." He let Magnus finish and he seemed to take that he didn't know martial arts as something to be ashamed of. Ozzy shrugged, offering support. "Hey, you don't need to be formerly trained to know how to fight. I just kind of picked things up in my travels. Mostly cause I had too." He grimaced. "Buying a whip was probably the best investment I ever had."

Magnus suddenly got up, he did mention he had to talk to Talia. It was time for dinner anyhow so Ozzy left, staying close to Yang and hopefully getting a word in edgewise. He sat down, joining the others for dinner, too engrossed in the conversations to notice too much else. "Sounds like you could have a whole bunch of students. Imagine someone his size with kicks and things. Let me know if I'm being insensitive." He grinned. "So tell me, how's your journey been going so far? How does this country measure up to Zipangu? Does your temple also accept monsters, or just human students?"

"And who normally use your arrows? They must be strong if you only let some use them."
Ditzy Stoneclub

"My arrows are suited best for myself. I can do a few special tricks with them." Saburo replied. "I only let others use them during times like these."

"What say you, Lord Saburo? Would you care to meet Mr. Freyr, maybe during a short intermission in the competition?"
Nagare

Saburo thought for a moment before replying. "We shall see about that, Dragon." He ominously replied.

"Suspend the competition and give me an apple." Saburo ordered one of his men. "I shall issue 'The Challenge' to this Freyr fellow. You two, follow me."

~@13org (FYR)~

"May I make a small, simple request? I would want to be able to take a second shot after the 'official' one, but using my bow. Would that be allowed? Nothing official, of course. These shots won't count to the competition. Think of it as just a way for me to try and adapt myself to these bows you provided as we Vieras have a different body physiology than humans. The bows we use ourselves handle very differently from these."
Freyr

"I'm afraid I cannot answer that, sir. You will have to ask--"

"FREYR!" A loud voice boomed throughout the competition. "Look to me!" The crowd then parted to make way for Lord Saburo Fujikiyo who held an apple and was followed by Nagare and Ditzy.

~@Restalaan (DIT), @AzureKnight (NAG), @13org (FYR)~

"Sir Freyr! Your friends tell me that you share hobbies and interests with me." Saburo began as he walked to the field. "They made a good case about you to me. I would like to see it for myself." The lord continued as he stood some distance from Freyr. "I sincerely hope you do not disappoint."

"This is my 'Challenge'!" Saburo held the apple on his palm right in front of his chest. "If you can shoot an arrow at this apple without piercing it enough to hit me, we shall talk and we shall share our techniques and methods regarding arrows." He explained. "If you fail that and I die, then whosoever takes your head shall inherit my fortune and my arrows and their secrets." The defeat condition raised the ears of everyone in the vicinity.

"Use any bow you like. But only use my arrows."

All eyes were on Freyr. He was given a single arrow while Haley approached him and whispered. "Just wink at me if you need help." The Siren was not uncomfortable at cheating this time. Not while there was much at stake.

Haley then went over to Ditzy and Nagare. "You two. Get ready to make a break for it. Create as much disruption as you can. Make sure we can fly unimpeded. I'll grab Freyr while Dragon lady here grabs Goblin boy." She relayed to them the backup plan. "I've faith in Freyr but you know, just in case..."

The crowd surrounded the guild members, ready to pounce on them should Saburo fall. They were armed with exotic weapons from the far East like katanas, kanabos and naginatas. But they will only use them if, and only if, Freyr fails and Saburo dies.

Titanica and Vară

"Well, I'm glad you're enjoying our food." Gina remarked at the apparent genocide of the shrine-town's edible resources.

"Just so you know, I haven't actually told anyone yet about not putting 'enhancers' in there." Gina revealed that what Titanica and Vară have eaten may have something more in them. "I'd wager that you have several hours before you nab the nearest guy you see and just tear him apart." She continued. "Not literally, of course. Sexually." Gina bluntly stated.

"And with that amount, I bet you could go on days and days. Maybe just days if you don't stop for short breaks." Gina chuckled. "Oh and, there might be a pregnancy. I mean, monsters don't get pregnant easily but since you'll be doing a lot... Well, who knows?"

The Gandharva then went over to Bast and Eilidh. "If you're not the type to share, you'd better look for another man for these two to unleash their... 'fury' on." Gina told Eilidh before flapping her wings into the air and leaving.

But not before giving Bast a playful wink, with everything that implies.

”Could you possibly bring him out for me? Or at least show me where I need to go?”
Teelfa Silverwind

"Oh yeah, yeah. Follow me. Bart's right over here."

The boy stood up and led you into the hole entrance and inside of the guild headquarters.

~@ShwiggityShwah, @The Irish Tree (MAG & NEP), @Lmpkio (MOR), @Restalaan (YNG), @ZekariVoblis~

The boy led Teelfa into the guild's dining hall which was filled with the aroma of dinner and the sounds of one or two conversations. "Bart's right over there. Hey Bart! Someone's here to see you!" He pointed to the familiar orange-haired man sitting at the end of the long stone table. "Welcome to our guild, Miss. There used to be more of us but... I guess some things just don't work out." He sighed before leaving Teelfa's company.

Meanwhile, Neil sat in between Nephele and Morgan after Ozzy was done talking to them. "Hey, Neph. Did I miss anything?" He first asked the Cave Dragon. "Hey, Miss Morgan. Thanks again for Talia." He then addressed the Moth Kaiju. "Well, while you're waiting for Titanica, do you mind telling us why you're so eager to meet her?" Neil asked curiously. "Do you two have a history or something? Childhood friends? Or is that something private?"

"No need for that, Ozzy. At least not now. You are free to cook for us tomorrow night." After Bart had addressed Ozzy, he went over to Teelfa as he had been called by Neil to her. "Hey there! Is there something you want?" He asked before his eyes narrowed. "Wait, I know you. You're... uhh, Tifa? No, no, there's supposed to be a color there. Teelfa! Yes, you're Teelfa!"

Talia quietly ate her dinner when Magnus approached her, saying that he needed to tell her something. "Oh sure, Magnus. What do you need to say?" She noticed that the male Minotaur was uncomfortable, which in turn made the Cyclops wary as ideas started floating in her mind. "Is-Is there something wrong, Magnus? You were... you and that Yang person brought the last materials to Kyle, right?"

Ozzy and Yang were currently in conversation with each other so no one disturbed them for the moment.

Teelfa Silverwind

Instead of a reply at the confirmation that Bart was inside, Teelfa just smiled. It was nice when matters were nice, simple, and with no bad surprises. Before the two walked in, a surprising rare sight came into view. A male Owl Harpy...She didn't expect to see a male monster, let alone one before her new journey even began. What were the odds? He gave a quick greeting over towards her...It was good to see he was friendly. She glanced over at him and gave a wave back to him. It was best to be friendly back.

As the two walked in, the smell of delicious dinner immediately hit her nose and plenty of people at a long table made of stone. The others seemed to be in their own conversations and businesses while the boy pointed to the man at the end of the table. "Welcome to our guild, Miss. There used to be more of us but... I guess some things just don't work out." He sighed before leaving Teelfa's company. It wasn't too surprising. Life tends to be business and others finding new business elsewhere is nothing new. As long as it isn't an omen to be concerned about...The man known as Bart soon approached.

As Bart apparently took a moment to remember her name, it seemed that it'd at least be a bit of a playful time in this new job. She chuckled at his forgetfulness. "Try not to forget it too often." She said as she crossed her arms and looked the man over. "And no doubt you're Mr. Bartholomew Baker, my new employer." She took another glance back towards where the rest of the dinner patrons were. There was the owl boy again and plenty of other females, both monster and non-monster. But of another particular note...Was another male monster, a minotaur. Arguably, this was probably even more surprising than the harpy. Her eyes didn't show any surprise, instead keeping her poker face of a smile. This Bart man seemed to be full of surprises, connections, or both.

Her eyes met towards him once again. "And these must be the guild members. I like the variety." She semi-joked as she extended her hand for a firm handshake. "It wouldn't trouble you if I had a bit of dinner too, would it? I'm actually a little famished since the ride over here."

Bast Ragoczy

Bast chuckled as he heard Eilidh asked to not put anything on her food. Seeing how... lively the couples were, that might well be a thing. After all, that was a city that basically breathed love and romance. As they talked, Bast made a little mental note to be mindful of what he ate or drank there.

Unlike Bast or Eilidh themselves though, who actually thought a little bit about that, Titanica and Vară weren't that careful about that possibility though... The second Titanica finished talking about Ravager's Rest with the Ghandarva, she immediately sat down, eating copious amounts of food. Vară, much like Titanica, just after arriving and introducing herself in the same flashy manner she normally did, immediately went to one of the booths, eating almost as much as Titanica herself.

"Hm... I would have never thought that Vară could eat as much as Titanica herself..." Bast said, with a chuckle and a laugh, leaning towards Eilidh as he said so.

"Now... where were we? Oh yes, you said you were hungry and thirsty yourself, am I right, Eilidh?" Bast asked, repeating what she had said to him earlier.

"A calming walk sounds indeed wonderful! I reckon you enjoyed this city the first time we came here. Unfortunately we didn't have that much time to get to know it better. Today is different though." Bast said with a smile.

"A calming walk it is then! Maybe we could stop to get something to eat before retiring ourselves, what do you think? I am rather famished myself after all, I didn't eat anything the entire day." Bast continued.

When he heard Eilidh talking about her senses being rather overwhelmed and asking him to not even hold her hand, Bast smirked with a playful expression.

"Not quite my lucky day then, eh? Oh well... I can live with that." he said, laughing.

"Don't worry, I promise I wont tease you as much as I usually do. It's just that you're so adorable when you're flustered!" he said with a wink.

Just as they were about to leave though, Gina approached Vară and Titanica, who finished murdering pretty much half of the edible food on the inn. What Gina said afterwards though was pretty much what he had suspected... There were indeed aphrodisiacs on the foods and drinks. And with the amount of food both of them had ingested, the effect would be pretty brutal. And Gina's words didn't seem to be an exaggeration too...

Bast couldn't help but let out a mischievous smirk as he watched both Vară and Titanica's reactions to what Gina had said. Both girls weren't exactly... that affectionate so it was clear that they would have problems dealing with that. As much as Bast would enjoy to watch their struggle, he feared for his safety for a number of reasons... Eilidh herself would probably get extremely angry, both Vară and Titanica's reactions to the aphrodisiacs would be really, really strong and well... they weren't that... inoffensive... And if all that wasn't enough, he feared for what could happen to him afterwards, as it was clear that every single one of the girls present would want to tear his head off his body...

"I had my suspicions, but you guys attacked the food with such voracity that I didn't have enough time to warn you two..." Bast said, approaching both Vară and Titanica with a mischievous smirk.

"I would try to help you girls to get rid of the aphrodisiacs on your bodies, after all, I am an experienced physician... But in the case it fails... I fear for my safety... for a number of reasons..." Bast said, looking to Eilidh and both girls shortly after with that same smirk on his face, teasing them

"Well... I would recommend both of you girls to drink as much water as you can... pure water..." Bast said walking closer to them.

"I wouldn't have that much of a problem in helping you two once the aphrodisiacs kick in though... but I doubt Eilidh would let me off unscathed... And I don't know what both of you would want to do to me after the effect is over so..." Bast said, whispering to them low enough so Eilidh wouldn't hear him.

"Good Luck." he finished, walking towards Eilidh.

"It's probably a good idea for me to get away from both of them... At least for now, don't you think?" Bast asked to Eilidh.

"Unless you're ok with sharing..." he said, with a smirk on his face, teasing her.

"Oh, pardon me, I couldn't help myself I forgot. No teasing." he continued with a discreet bow, apologizing himself.

Freyr

Just as the referee was about to answer his question though, a loud and thundering voice interrupted the competition calling Freyr's name. The crowd parted to make way to the owner of the voice, Lord Saburo Fujikiyo himself, who walked towards Freyr holding an apple and accompanied by Nagare and Ditzy. Whatever it was that Nagare and Ditzy said to Saburo, it peaked his interest, as it was clear when he continued talking, walking towards the field.

Apparently, Lord Saburo was interested on Freyr and wanted to test his skills after Ditzy and Nagare said that he shared interests and hobbies with Lord Saburo himself. The moment he said what was his 'challenge' to him though, Freyr couldn't help but smile. Using his own bow, even if he was using Lord Saburo's own arrows and not his, he couldn't miss.

Haley once more offered him a little... 'help' but this time, more than others, Freyr didn't needed it.
"The Mother nature is as kind as she is cruel. This is specially true in the Vieran Woods. Those who can't hunt and defend themselves, die an early death." Freyr said to Haley as he got his bow.

"Don't worry. I won't miss." he said with a smile.

As he nocked Saburo's arrow on his bow, he drew it back, getting ready to shoot. The weight behind the arrow was not something a normal human could use, at least not without great effort. Before he let go of it though, he twisted his wrist gently, making it so the second he shot the arrow, it would spin faster.

To anyone watching, any experienced archer, it was clear that Freyr wasn't merely boasting. His posture, the way he handled the bow, how he drew the bow, it was everything done in a fluid manner. Something that could only be achieved by someone who did that exact same motion uncountable times. Even his respiration was perfectly timed with his shot.

Everything happened in a single, fluid and agile motion. Preparation wasn't needed. The second Freyr shot the arrow, it flew through the air, whistling, much faster than the standard competition bows could achieve.

As Titanica gorged herself amongst the delicious selection of meats and other food, it appears that even the demoness joined in on the action. Whilst the titan gobbled up all the meats she could get her hands on, Vara proceeded to devour all the sweets. In their combined efforts, they might very well purge all the shrine's food supply! But with appetites seemingly endless like a swirling black hole in their guts, they didn't care. Yet within their intense feasting, they failed to hear Gina's warning about something not taking out something. Bast seemed to have said something as well, but Titanica utterly ignored that statement as she concentrated on consumption.

As Titanica finished devouring a roasted hog, she licked her chops hungrily as she eyes some BBQed beef sitting on an open fire. Drooling she began to make her way over, but before she even took four steps, she began to feel something strange. She slowly grinds to a halt as she began to feel as if her skin was beginning to get warmer. This is a feat she usually doesn't experience unless in the heat of battle, but unless one counts this as the war on food, this was no ordinary battle. The ravenous titan began to rub her arms rapidly, hoping to extinguish this feeling quickly and to get back to her eating rampage, but the heat continued to spread. Her legs buckled slightly as she tries rubbing them together and her belly felt like a bellowing furnace. One can easily see a faint orange aura encapsulate around her, replacing the bright blue aura she normally portrays within her spines.

"Ugh..." she wheezes heavily as she falls to one knee, "What... what is this feeling...?"

But most notably of all, her beasts began to throb uncontrollably as they glowed somewhat brighter compared to the rest of her body. Titanica gulped carefully as she began squeezing them roughly to drown the burning heat with physical pain. What was in this food? And what was she feeling? Surely this wasn't any spice she had ever encountered that could heat your entire body. She began to feel light headed, fading in and out of existence as she views the world with warmer blurred colors. Even her forbidden place began to feel this heat quite intensely. Yet she'd soon naturally realize what she was feeling - a feeling universal to any female human, monster, or any other species of animal in this realm. It was obvious...

She was in heat.

It would take a lot of stimulation to tame Titanica to the point where she could sense this pleasure, but this was amplified by several times already. Drooling slightly, as ravenously glances around her like a wild animal, eying the people around her with heavy lustful eyes. She definitely wasn't looking for food.

"Must... find... relief..."

Morgan was sitting next to Nephele on a table, drinking a small jug of apple juice, as she basked in the warm hue of an oil-lantern with her legs dangling over the edge childishly. As she finished chatting with the nice dragon, Neil came up to her and started to ask about why she wanted to talk to Titanica.

"Well, while you're waiting for Titanica, do you mind telling us why you're so eager to meet her? Do you two have a history or something? Childhood friends? Or is that something private?"

"Yeah! We're good besties!" Morgan replied with a cheer, "It's been so long since I've seen her! It would be nice to see her again and catch up."

She thought for a moment as she placed her finger on her cheek curiously.

"I wonder what she's doing right now?" she asked curiously.

Shortly after, she was approached by a scholarly harpy who seemed curious upon her arrival.

"Welcome. How do you do?" he asked slowly, as if he wanted to make himself sound clear.

Morgan's antennae instantly banged upwards as she turned to face the harpy with her big gleaming blue eyes.

"Oh! Hello there!" she quickly replied with a girlish smile and a friendly wave, "I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. Is this your first time here as well?"

The harpy confirmed that it was indeed his first time here and that he wishes they will become great friends in no time. The mothgirl giggled gleefully in agreement.

"Oh I'm pretty sure we will soon!" she replies confidently with a nod, "For the few minutes I've been in here, it looks really cozy in here. Everyone here has also been so nice to me as well! I think I might actually stay here."

The harpy then asks her another question.

"I'd love to know where you got your schooling. A monster doctor is so rare outside certain sub-species. And goodness knows we always need more."

Morgan nods again as she sips on her apple juice again.

"It's been passed down to me by my clan." she replied before looking down at her dangling legs, kicking them slowly one by one "My mother taught me the basics in apothecary, whilst my friends helped me perfect the process."

She sighs sadly as her antennae drooped down slightly.

"If only they can see how I'm doing now..."

Yang Bethlehem

"Ah, the art of Dou then?" Yang nodded, she heard the berserk art before. It was a dangerous style and one that a person can lose themselves if they aren't careful.

Hmm. She hummed, an idea formed inside her head as there was a possibility they can help each other. But it was risky, and she was no master though. Perhaps she can offer insights?

"Well, I think I can help you a bit with the Dou style if needed." She offered to Magnus, she will need to take steps to ensure its safe.

Hearing Ozzy talk on her having student had her in smiles and she waved it away bashfully.

"I think you're thinking of me too highly. I'm not qualified to teach yet," She commented to Ozzy but sighed as she thought objectively on Magnus build.

It was indeed optimal and almost perfect for a fighting build, alongside with the right height and probably weight. Yang felt slightly envious on that particular body built.

"Oh, its nice!" Yang recalled her journey here, it was unusual and she had to learn the local language but it was a sight to behold. "I get to see so many different places and new people!"

One other thing was how different the culture and new monster girl differ from one another, though she'll admit they're much more aggressive compared to Zipangu.

"Ah, the temple accepts human primarily but monster are accepted." Yang pointed out as she recalled another detail. "We do have monster as students but those are rare, mostly they come as challengers against my master."

"But I think they'll be disappointed, they've been trying even before I was born and my master is still the head of the White Tiger temple! Haha!" Yang proudly jested and sweated a bit even as she realized the implications of that. "Yeah, he's definitely still the head without a doubt."

He didn't know what was going on, Saburo had suddenly went ahead and issue a challenge to Freyr. Wasn't he already in the competition? His slow mind tried its best to keep up even as things spiralled quickly beyond his comprehension.

"Uh, Miss Nagare, won't he die if Freyr hits it anyway?" Ditzy asked Nagare as he tugged her clothing, his head tilted to the sides. "Isn't that cheating?"

Ditzy really didn't understand the challenge, and the way everyone surrounded them, it made him frown. He recognized those looks, one that look ready to do bad things.

"No worries, Miss Nagare. Just stay close to me, and I'll beat them all back." Ditzy said to her as he unslung the sand bag, and readied to fight back.

The minotaur didn't respond much to the idea of learning Yang's Dou style, as...frankly, he hated going berserk, it didn't feel comfortable, and he was always scared of losing control and flying off the handle. Its why he hated fighting so much, and was always afraid that if something pushed him too far, he'd wind up killing someone close to him.

Magnus felt as if a frog had leapt into his throat, his hands shaking a bit as he nervously looked at Talia, not a single part of him WANTING to have to break her heart like this...but...now was the only time. He couldn't just tell her later, now that fears were apparent in her eyes. Gulping down his cowardice like a thick sludge, Magnus' eyes looked down at the floor. He just...couldn't look her in the eyes to say this. He wasn't strong enough for that. "K-Kyle's launch...everything was going fine, then suddenly he...his machine broke down mid-air, and he crashed. By the time we got there he was already...already dead.

With his heart sinking further and further into his stomach, Magnus was willing to take the brunt of whatever blame Talia wanted to place. After all, he had promised so much to her with this...now, he couldn't help but silently shed tears as his hair obscured his face from the angle. He was ready...or so he'd tell himself. Talia would have every right to be angry, every right to despise him. After all, he was the one that gave Kyle the materials he needed to launch his flight.

Nephele was surprised by the sudden questioning by the new male harpy, her gaze quizzical as he asked whether she was a dragon or not. After her experiences with the armed, armless buffoon before, she was wondering if that was a joking question. But, seeing his honest desire to know, she relaxed and smiled, placing a hand over her chest. "I am a dragon. A cave dragon, specifically. Nephele Francine Megalos, pleased to make your acquaintance, she said before sitting down for dinner. Nephele shook her head at Neil's question of whether he'd missed anything, gesturing towards Ozzy. "I was just answering Ozmodius' question. Though, if he's surprised by me, he should see the other dragons. If I recall, just this morning two others joined, one an ice dragon, and one...well, we're not sure, but she possessed a breath weapon for sure." she said, feeling the owl harpy would be intrigued by even more dragons being available for talking to. Regardless, dinner would come, and they could talk after. He looked so happy talking to Yang, he didn't want to interrupt them.

Digging into her dinner with refined gusto, Nephele felt it was time for her to ask her own questions about Morgan, given that she had so far been a rather mysterious figure. She knew moth-women came in may shapes and colors, but the way in which she carried herself was different from how the ditsy Maria had done. Asking about her clan however seemed to be a touchy subject given the sad sigh, so she instead opted for another question. "So, Morgan, how long did you know Titanica for?"

Vară Riemsianne

@PaulHaynek @Lmpkio @Silver Carrot @13org(BST)

Vară was so focused on eating she didn't even pay heed to Gina's warning or Bast's words. After downing a spicy chocolate eclair, she promptly wiped her mouth with a nearby cloth as she let out a satisfied sigh. She barely even payed attention to Titanica who was still going after the meats. While Vară could pack quite alot in that stomach, the kaiju seemed to truly have a bottomless pit for a tummy.

Stretching out an arm and letting out a large yawn, Vară decided that it was about time to settle in. Hopping up from her seat, she finally noticed that Gina had left them. "Where did that bird woman go? I thought I heard something about preparing rooms for us?" Said Vară with a rather annoyed expression on her face. The fire demon began taking a few steps forward until she felt a strange sensation envelop her body.

"Ahh...huh?" Vară's breathing became heavy and labored as she fell to her knees, hugging her arms together in an attempt to cope with the sensation.

"Aah...the heat, I can't take it..." The fire demon's body began to be enveloped by strong vermilion flames, they danced and flickered as the heat continued to grow stronger. The flames...I can't control them!!" The flames soon blanketed Vară completely, covering her body from view. Soon after, the flames dissipated, and Vară's true demon form was revealed to all present.

The young fire demon had no earthly idea what was going on at first; she was scared and confused at this sudden feeling. However, soon her natural instincts began to take hold. Her carnal desires were fully realized, and her demonic essence surfaced fully. This young woman, was in dire heat, and it showed no signs of cooling down. A brilliant thin vermilion aura covered her body as her eyes glowed with an eerie red light.

"I...I need..release..." Uttered Vară, her private parts pulsating with lustful energy.

Nagare

@PaulHaynek @Restalaan @13org(FYR)

Nagare could feel the tension in the air as the guards slowly surrounded them, waiting to pounce should Freyr's arrow pierce the heart of Lord Saburo. Freyr seemed confident in his skills, though a small part of Nagare was filled with dread. The young ice dragon disliked fighting, and certainly didn't want to fight humans.

She felt Ditzy tugged at her kimono, asking her about the situation. "Mr. Stoneclub, I think there are worse things to worry about right now than cheating..." Replied the ice dragon in a somber tone.

"Thank you, Mr. Stoneclub, but I'd like to avoid fighting period if at all possible." She then heard the Haley tell them to be prepared to make a break for it. This only served to make the dragon even more nervous.

Her flying skills in her humanoid form were rather limited, but transformed is another story. While that would definitely create quite a disruption, she hoped that it wouldn't come to that.

Sitting down to dinner, Ozzy ate like... well a bird. He hardly even gave the meal provided any focus as he just had so many new potential friends to talk to.

And all of them had stories. Such wonderful stories. He had to be sure to record them in his journal later. There was hardly room to suddenly have him prop up a book and start scribbling away. He'd done that in the past and most people found it a little awkward. He'd have to resist for the time being.

@Lmpkio (Morgan)

It was hard to size up Morgan. She carried the disposition of a child, apple juice, size, and the fact that she couldn't seem to sit still, but the be trained in medicine, maybe she was a child genius. Maybe she was an evolutionary marvel that would bring the mothman sub-species into prominence. The fact that she was trained by her own people led to far far more questions. Could the studies been wrong?
He had not yet suspected her mythical nature as it was not brought up in the open yet. Ozzy seemed a bit off how he tried to respond, his feathery eyebrows, and head cocking on occasion in the pauses between sentences and responses, more akin to trying to keep from blurting out inappropriate questions. Still her personality type was almost infectious, maybe even similar to his own. He is also a man of the sciences that happens to still hold the childlike wonder.

Besides she stated what he was thinking, everyone despite their difference was really kind. He replied with an exuberant. "I know right! This guild seems like it's exactly what I'm looking for. Seeing how everyone works together. It could be a real booster shot to my research!"

Taking it off of whether she should stay here, Ozzy did realize that would be another little factor to consider. His smile looked nervous."The place looks big enough but I've no idea how many members." He took a quick male to female count and realized the disparity. Talking about her he perked up. "I don't doubt you'll probably get your pick of the rooms. A Doctor needs her infirmary after all." Talking about himself, he got a bit reserved. "For me, it'd be Master Barts call. I'd hate to get in the way. Maybe Magnus wouldn't mind a roommate. Or Bart or Neil. Worse case is that I camp on the roof." He shrugs, finding the silliness of it all.

She continued, giving him a bit more tidbits of herself. He nodded, his big eyes seeming to gleam a bit when she mentioned her clan and expertise. "A culture of traditions." He said, his mind putting the info into categories to get a mental image. "Apothecary. So you're more of an herb, chemistry, and magic type doctor." Phrasing it as a comment, and a question for her to correct him if needed.

However her body language went dour, and Ozzy understood the connotation. He wanted to ask questions but not realized he had to give it a light touch, since he was the one who dredge up the memories. His smile faded as she looked a little down but with a tilt of his head, a softening of his voice and features. He looked away from her smiling serenely to himself. Maybe coming from his own place.

"Yeah. How proud they'd be." He said gently. "Healing folks. Helping strangers. Bringing smiles. Not to mention eyes that literally light up the room. I've never heard of a Mothman, or many people actually, ever doing anything so, well... wonderful."

@The Irish Tree (Nephele)

It was Nephele that continued the conversation breaking the tension for the two of them. Ozzy chirped back to their direction, looking at her with a big grin. Another fascinating individual to learn more about, and he hoped listening in might be a bit of a fun little observation and info gathering. He bided his time to join in.

Prior to dinner, Ozzy almost squealed at Nephele's self identification. "CAhhh! I knew it!" The little exclamation had an odd bird quality to it. "Dragons have had such a huge impact on history and cultures that if dragons were to willfully join into modern societies, the implications are unfathomable! Imagine if a dragon became a city's mayor or lord? Economic progress, intellectual resources, and local security could be heightened by at least ten fold merely as part innate territorial psychology!"

Nephele continued to talk about how she wasn't quite alone. Ozzy's smile faded and he seemed to simply just stagger for a second as if drunk. He seemed in his own world. "There's more then - one? This place is a researcher's dream!" He cupped his hands in prayer and seemed to space out for a moment. That was when dinner started snapping him back to reality.

@Restalaan (YANG)

Continuing to be engrossed in conversation with Yang as dinner began.

He noted her humility. "You know what they say. Always a student." Meaning even a master recognizes there's much to learn.

She mentioned her journey and he nodded excitedly. "I've got a map! We should compare notes! I've been some places I couldn't think more highly of!" Treating her a bit like a tourist like him. "The nature. The history. The festivals!" He swooned. "Even the demon realm's got some fun spots... but mind the locals." he added.

She explained her temple and he nodded, snapping his fingers. "Ahh, so despite the focus on propriety, respect, martial prowess is something still to be strived for? I guess that's not so different from here." He listened to her talk about the master. He clapped his hands lightly when she proclaimed loudly the prowess of her master. "Sounds awesome, but also sounds kind of rough. I mean you're trying to just teach students and get better yourself and suddenly people out of the blue just want to fight you? Are they going to teach if they succeed? It doesn't make sense to me."

He folded his arms and closed his eyes trying to think of the reasoning. Maybe it was just the culture.
"I guess there is the need for competition. I wonder if the same thing would happen here? Maybe your White Temple should expand." He grinned, thinking it would be a fun idea. "White Temple, Pravar Chapter." he announced with a wave of his hands. "Actually those fighting tournaments would be a very good outlet." Better than those super violent coliseums.

He directed his question back at her his hands cupped in his lap. "You said you were questing to increase your martial arts techniques. If you don't mind me asking, how does that work? Are you like the wondering hero? The beast hunter? The paragon of justice!" Despite the silly titles, he did make each sound pretty epic.

Eilidh watched as Titanica and Vară succumbed to the effects of the drugged food, and watching them, Eilidh was really, really glad she hadn't yet eaten anything. It was already taking all of her effort and willpower to remain composed. Vară had actually transformed into her Fire Demon form! Eilidh's first thought was to guard Bast, but that moron actually went up to the two girls, which was not doing anybody any favours, except possibly Bast for the present. The Centaur unbuckled her sheath, with sword inside, and wielded it as a non-lethal, blunt weapon.

"Okay, Bast, I'd get annoyed with you flirting with other girls in my prescence at the best of times. On top of that, you're being an idiot right now and putting yourself in danger!" She warned, as he came back to her side and started making jokes. Eilidh huffed irately. "Unbelievable! Is this all a joke to you? Come on! We have to get you out of here!"

Without any further warning, Eilidg grabbed Basts' arm and started to canter away, at a pace he could keep up with, away from the populated streets. With the other, she clipped the sword back onto her belt. After they reached the outskirts, and there were fewer stimuli, Eilidh calmed down, and the constant blush lessened from her face. In fact, she looked slightly downcast. "Well, this is not how I pictured our trip to Eros going. It almost feels wasted now."

(Timey-Wimey Ball is in effect again probably for the next few updates. Ask me if there's any confusion.)

One Man's Trash
~@Restalaan (DIT), @AzureKnight (NAG), @13org (FYR)~

Freyr's shot was true. The arrow hit the apple but did not pierce through. The people surrounding the guild members relaxed, some disappointed that there would be no chance for a quick shot at fortune and glory this day.

Saburo invited Freyr and the other guild members to talk with him while the competition resumed. The Zipanguese Lord gifted the Guild with a couple of his handcrafted arrows. The quest was a success!

------

Night had fallen when the guild members handed over the arrows to the strange old couple back in Ambran. They were delighted and happily forked over the reward before frolicking away to their next venture.

"I swear, we always get the weirdos." Haley could not help but remark. "Still, that was pretty cool, Freyr. I totally didn't doubt you for a second." The Siren snickered at the self-jab. "A job well done if I do say so myself. You guys wanna hang around here or do we head back to the guild?"

"And hey there, the two of you." Haley turned to Nagare and Ditzy. "I do believe we haven't been introduced to each other yet. I'm Haley Wellington and I've been in the guild longer than the two of you so that means I'm your senior and you have to do whatever I say. Hahaha!"

~@Lmpkio (TCA), @AzureKnight (VRA)~

With Eilidh pulling Bast away, Titanica and Vară was left with the local populace who were noticing what was happening.

"Oh my~ These two look like they've eaten a little too much of the local cuisine~"

"They look like they're about to rampage..."

"That's not good. They might cause trouble with the 'closed' couples here."

Titanica and Vară were attracting a crowd of Angels and Houris and Cupids and soon enough, the local authorities. "Hey, hey! What's going on here?" Arrived was a Valkyrie of long, blonde hair and shiny red armor and, of course, clean white-feathered wings. She pushed through the crowd to get a clear look at the scene. "What's the ruckus about? What happened?"

"Oh, Officer Valerie~ This Dragon and Succubus went a little overboard with our food~"

Valerie sighed. "Not again..." The Valkyrie then addressed Titanica and Vară. "Alright, you two. I don't know if you can hear me but this has happened before so don't worry, we know what to do. However, we will not be at fault for what happened to you here." Valerie said before clasping her hands together and uttering a prayer too quiet for Titanica and Vară to hear.

Suddenly, a pillar of light enveloped both Titanica and Vară and once it dissipated, the two found themselves in a large stylishly cute bedroom of pink and comfortable colors. Also with them, however, was a familiar face. "Titanica? And who are you? Vară?" Neil looked around confused. "Where are we? W-What's going on?" He was beginning to panic. "What happened? Why are we here?"

Looking at the two in-heat monsters, he was beginning to worry as to what's going on. "Titanica, Vară... Are you two, okay?"

~@ZekariVoblis~

"And no doubt you're Mr. Bartholomew Baker, my new employer. And these must be the guild members. I like the variety. It wouldn't trouble you if I had a bit of dinner too, would it? I'm actually a little famished since the ride over here."
Teelfa Silverwind

Bart shook your hand. "New employer?" The guild leader repeated. "Oh, you'd like to join the Guild? That's awesome! The more the merrier!" He then chuckled. "Sorry about the sad state of our guild right now. Especially our entrance. There have been... complications last night." Bart continued sheepishly.

"But hey, I'm glad you'd like to join anyway!" Bart returned to a more cheerful mood. "Here in the Guild, we do requests and get paid if you didn't already know. Although, there are some quests that are..." He trailed off, not finishing the sentence and breaking off the conversation.

~@The Irish Tree (MAG)~

"K-Kyle's launch...everything was going fine, then suddenly he...his machine broke down mid-air, and he crashed. By the time we got there he was already...already dead.
Magnus Eissenhoeff

Talia was silent, mouth slightly agape. Then she closed her eye and sighed. Then she smiled at you. A sad smile. "Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. It's not your fault." She assured you.

"I feared this, you know?" Talia began. You could see her eye was watering. "We've done all the calculations but... I always had a feeling that there were factors we weren't considering. I suppose that's what testing is for, isn't it?" The Cyclops wiped a rolling tear. "Looks like we're back to the drawing board, aren't we?"

Talia stood from her chair. "In behalf of Kyle, let me say... thanks for being there... and helping us out." She then left the dining hall, her dinner unfinished.

~@ShwiggityShwah, @The Irish Tree (MAG), @Lmpkio (MOR), @Restalaan (YNG), @ZekariVoblis~

"It's nice to see the newcomers are getting along with everybody." Bart announced after talking to Teelfa.

"But we've yet another member joining our ranks. Everybody, meet Teelfa." Bart introduced the Panther Wyvern. "I'll let her give the details herself. Looks like we're getting new members one after another. We're getting close to our original number no?" Bart gave out a hearty laugh.

"And what about you, Miss Moth? Morgan right?" Bart then addressed Morgan. "I'd like to thank you for healing Talia. How'd you meet Neil and the others in Mahigan anyway? The village isn't large but I think it's unlikely that you two just bumped into each other in the village." He asked the Kaiju. "That reminds me, we also have Mothman members recently but they had to leave due to some family matters, I think."

"Also, you're looking for Titanica? What do you need with her?"

~@The Irish Tree (NEP)~

Watching Talia leave the table and the dining hall, Neil sighed. "That can't be good."

As Bart called out the newcomers to introduce themselves, you were poked in the shoulder by Neil. "Hey. So uhh, found anything about my... predicament?" He asked you. "You know, now that Talia's alright. Physically."

"The library here isn't much, that much I know." Neil said. There was a brief pause before resuming. "...I actually thought we could dig something up in Mahigan. I thought..." He sighed. "I thought we could find a more detailed lead there, you know, while Talia's getting help." Neil shrugged. "But... well, one thing lead to another and... we were going home."

"...It was surreal, you know?" Neil added. "Seeing a village like that. There were Humans, there were Monsters, and they all act like, everything's normal." He continued. "I guess that's normal, isn't it? It's me who's not normal. That much we know." Neil forced out a chuckle.

"Hey uhh, sorry for rambling."

~@Silver Carrot, @13org (BST)~

(I'll let you two continue)

~@Enkryption~

Having been invited to join a guild, you emerge from your dungeon dwelling and journeyed far to the location the orange-haired man gave you if you were ever interested in joining.

After days of traveling, you finally reach your destination. There, in the middle of the night-blanketed grassland, stood a structure of stone and metal and lit up like a beacon amongst the darkness.

You approach the great structure and you find a gaping hole for an entrance which gave you a peek at the main hall within. You get a feeling that was not part of the building's design. Regardless, you hear voices and conversation inside somewhere. From what you could see and hear, it seemed to be coming from the hall right of the main hall.

How will you make your entrance?
