Kasuke Mina

Mina listened to Kaida's telling of events. It certainly sounded serious. The way Mina's confidence had took a dive since the exercise, she didn't know if she'd have fared better than most of the others. The fact that Kaida froze, however, made Mina feel a little better about herself. She wouldn't have frozen.

But then Kaida looked fondly to Jett, and mentioned how strong he was. This piqued Mina's curiosity. Jett had been at the school. Mina herself had talked to him while these attacks would have supposedly took place, or at least, there's no way he could have been in two places at once without his quirk, which he had told Mina still wasn't working properly. Jett's reaction made things clearer. Mina's hunch was right. He wasn't there. Kaida was mistaken. The details seemed to point to a mysterious person, in Jett's suit, who had saved the day. They'd probably need to be around Jett's build and have a super strength quirk. Mina didn't know anybody who fit that description, but a fellow first year student wouldn't have been strong enough to fight a full-on villain. It had to be somebody else close to Jett. Mina's thoughts went first to Jais, who was too tall, then to Jett's sister, who was completely the wrong frame. She'd have to mull it over.

But was now the right time to correct Kaida? The devil on Mina's shoulder smiled with glee. No. No, it was not. There would be a more opportune time. All she had to do was wait. Mina glanced at Jett, and as she did so, though the rest of her face was unchanged, there was an unsettling sparkle in her eyes, that betrayed to him that she also knew he hadn't been the one who saved Kaida.

"I wish I could have seen it. In fact, I wish I had know about this whole thing sooner so I could have helped. I feel like I should apologise, as little sense as that makes. So, I'm sorry, Kaida."

Koizumi Seiko

"That's good to know!" Seiko answered Toru, "And will probably come in handy if we're ticking off Amane. For the record, I can't be killed either. At least not very easily. You'd have to stab me in the heart without me noticing, or drop me into molten metal like a terminator."

Seiko then listened to Mamoru's proposal, which was actually really good. Seiko even got to fight Lysander, which was a plus. The downside was that when Aname got free, Seiko and Lysander would have to face him in class, and that wouldn't go well. Seiko was already dreading that encounter, but this prank? Honestly? It was worth it. "I like that idea," Seiko answered Mamoru. "I vote we do it."

Maeda Hitomi

When Nomoe appeared, Hitomi's first thought was to give Tomoe to Acion, and try to reason with her roomate's dark double, but when she attacked Acion with claws, it was clear she wadn't in a talking mood. She was probably in defense mode, on account of Tomoe being hurt. Hitomi nodded to Acion. "I'll take her to the nurse's office. In the meantime, don't get hurt."

And just because it felt like the right and natural thing to do at that moment in time, she leaned over and kissed Acion's cheek, before picking Tomoe up and carrying her to the nurse's office. She would have struggled but for her nerves, and the lingering anger from Acion's story, enhancing her strength enough that she was able to carry Tomoe the full distance.

One of Tomoe her claws clearly connected with the wing of Acion. The claw digged into the wing but must have only hit the steel feathers. Tomoe did not expect every wing to be acting as a shield and actually thought for them to be far weaker and penetrate-able. Tomoe tried to push his wing down to the ground so she could hit him again but the strength of Acion was formidable as well. He was keeping the wing in front of him with the support of his other wing and arm, Tomoe had no way to penetrate that right now. She had to reconfigure her body to hurt his wings. Acion yelled at the sheep to get the real Tomoe out of here which she did. The clone widened her eyes as she saw her real self being taken away out of the room.

Tomoe pulled her claw out between the feathers of his wings and backed off a few feet by jumping off the desk. She snarled at Acion as she lifted up two of the desk's from the ground and threw them right at him. She completely ignored whatever he was trying to say. She did not believe him at all. As soon as the desks hit hopefully distracting him at least she slid under both desks and attempted to grab hold of his leg with both her claws while biting it firmly to disable his walking at the very least. Once she had made her attempt she would hurry out of the classroom after Hitomi on four limbs.

Acion Nakamiji

The weight of dark Tomoe and her claw sinking onto Acion's wings were suddenly lifted in a split second, and for a split second. It wasn't because she remove herself from Acion, but rather because of something else. For that moment, a warm sensation touched his cheek, glossed over it, pressed on with a gentle push of the lips. And the fragrance from her lips. He wasn't a stranger to this, but at the same time he was. It was...sweet.

After that, Hitomi left the room with Tomoe, the light and unconscious Tomoe, leaving a dazzled Acion alone with the other Tomoe. He wished that she would stop for him to recover, but he didn't have that privilege. He was in a middle of a fight here.

Tomoe eventually was the first to separate from Acion, jumping from desk to desk. The snarl really put the winged hero at odds. He had never fought someone who actually hissed at him like a wild animal. She then hurled two desks at him, her strength surprised him greatly. Nevertheless, Acion wasn't surprised by the desk throws. Of course the surroundings were definitely not ideal for Acion's huge silhouette, but he had been trained under this tough condition. He crouched down in one knee, his wings bent in an acute angle to the oncoming first desk. The desk slammed onto his wings, but the mighty force of Tomoe's throw was negated, or rather redirected by the angle of his wings as it ricocheted off of them. The next desk came low, however, so Acion quickly abandoned the crouch, stood up and leapt high, one step on the ground and then perfectly timed the next step so that it was on the oncoming desk as it passed through him and crashed onto other desks. Taking his chance, he unleashed his well-known feather attacks, though this time he purposefully threw less. First reason was just to deter the girl, which obviously did not work. She was a wild animal. She could not be reasoned with. Second reason though was because he didn't want to cause extra damage to the class. This was not his property, and no one's gonna cover it for him.

Because there were less feathers thrown, Tomoe could obviously dodge them, and with almost laughable ease. She slid under the desk, obscured from his vision from above. As soon as Acion landed, two claws suddenly took hold on him from under the desks like a scene from a horror movie. And even more horrifying, something sank into his legs, through his pants and into his flesh. It was teeth. Human teeth. She bit him.

"Arghh!" He yelled with a myriad of surprise, confusion, a little pain and disgust. He swore that could leave a scar. What the hell is she? A wild animal?

Right after the bite, she ran away from him. He didn't seem to be her target though. She was probably just trying to protect her other self. But with that predator instinct and attitude, in favor of herself, she'd definitely hurt others. He was the first victim already. And he'd definitely not let her do the same to Hitomi.

"That is naïve of you indeed!"

She bit him because she wanted to slow him down. But little did she know, he did not need legs. As he stepped out of the classroom, his six wings spread wide, flapping with more than enough to lift him up. He proceeded to give chase to Tomoe. His great speed allowed him to close in on her, who was still trying to catch up to Hitomi, on four legs. She really has animal instinct. Once he was right above her, he stopped beating the wings. Swiftly, he span around his longitudinal axis, his wings swinging around, intending to hit Tomoe with them.

Maeda Hitomi

As Hitomi started running towards the nurse's office with the innate speed of prey who know they're being hunted, the immediate danger was wearing off, and she had a little time to reflect on what she'd just done. Kissing Acion's cheek...Hitomi had never kissed anybody before that she wasn't related to. She imagined her first kiss would be a little less...automatic. At the very least, she imagined there would be a mutual understanding of the kiss, followed by a deliberate kiss. But back then, she hadn't even thought about it. It was like her body acted on its own while her brain was in panic mode. What did this mean? She'd have to think about thi more. Or discuss it with Acion later...

It was at that moment when her Sheep Sense went crazy. Nomoe was chasing after her with clawed hands, and on all fours. Both of these actions made her seem much more predatory, and thus, Hitomi could sense her much more accurately. This had the downside of terrifying Hitomi's instincts, but her brain was holding the tide. Nomoe may not like Hitomi, but she is very protective of Tomoe, and whilst she was in Hitomi's arms, and hurt, hopefully wouldn't do anything too crazy....right?

Without even needing to turn round or look behind her, Hitomi sensed exactly when Nomoe was about to strike at her legs, and leapt up into the air, clearing the dangerous space, while Acion caught up and retaliated using his wings. "We're just trying to help Tomoe!" Hitomi shouted out as she carried on running. "She hurt her head, and we're taking her to the nurse's office. We are not your enemies!"

Obviously students looked up at the strange girl running just like a wild animal. Yet it probably was not the first time had experienced something like this. For the few students that they did come across would easily move out of the way for them.

Despites Hitomi conditions Tomoe still had to take some time to catch up the sheep girl. She was somewhat faster than the sheep girl yet Acion was way faster then her and Hitomi. He would be hover above her in no time. Tomoe noticed and sneered at the winged boy as she tried to ignore him and go straight for the sheep girl. She was as close as she could get before she wanted to jump at her to retrieve her own body. Before she could Even jump Acion twirled in the sky above her swinging one of his wings at her from the side.

In the next step her arm was caught by the wing and swept from under her. All her weight got placed towards the front as she fell towards the groun with her upperbody. Her face slid over the ground like a sneaker brushing the gym floor. A loud shreek echoed the hallway before she tumbled the rest of the way. Quickly she came to a stop and sat still for a minute as she had to recollect her senses.

The Tomoe in Hitomi her arms seemed hurted and moved for a moment when her clone had hit the ground to no surprise.

The clone shook her head momentarily before dashing back onto her original path. She got close towards Acion and tried to jump onto his back to grab one of his wings so that he would stop flying. She just had to twist a few of them so he wouldn't be able to fly again. As simple as that it was.

Roy Kusayanagi

The uneasiness on Roy’s face was clear, though he tried to hide it pretty well behind the mask of his physical injuries. The blonde watch the two interact with a dejected vibe for a few before noticing the way Jett had been reacting to the whole situation. With an eyebrow raised suspiciously, the boys brain began picking up in speed, this wasn’t the first time that the two embraced each other so why was Jett so reluctant in accepting the hug? Jett just being reluctant at all when it comes to girls is fishy.

Before he knew it the conversation was moved into Kaida and Michikos hospital room in which the villain attack was explained once more. As Kaida explained Roy kept dead silent, and with each glance she took at him the boy simply just looked away at the wall or the sky. Though the further the story went on, the more he clenched his fists and his eyes would phase from green to yellow at certain parts of the story. Once Kaida was done and began talking about how Jett ‘saved’ her again [i]Yawnn[/], Jett’s body language was not adding up, something was not right.

Has Jett been holding back this whole time, and if so why super strength? Holding back teleporting seemed like a match better trump card. It did not make sense but he could not deny that Jett was not there. In a moment the boys eyes widened a bit as a rememberenfe of what Takeshi told him before came back. Sure Jett was pretty good in a brawl but he was doubtful of his ability to best a master assassin in hand to hand combat. Roy squinted his eyes slightly as he glared once more at Jett though this time without the vengeful eyes...alright without completely vengful eyes. Jett would come to know that Roy knew something was not adding up. But exposing him here would just kill the morale sadly so the blonde decided to just keep his mouth shut. At least for now.

Acion Nakamiji

He was right on time. Right the moment Tomoe's dark clone proceeded with the attack on Hitomi, he became the pebble in the cog, as she was swept under the might of his wings. She was right in midst air when that hit though, leading to her less than elegant landing. She was not hurt though. Maybe a bit, but she was still capable of combat.

Acion could notice the other students paying attention to him and Tomoe, and how he suddenly just emerged from behind to strike her off her feet. They were definitely curious gossipers, but he wouldn't care less if they whispered something behind his back. If anything, Hitomi could be his witness. But speaking about the girl, instead of continuing to the nurse office, she...stopped, trying to reason with the pink-haired girl.

'I appreciate your concern, but I don't think that's gonna work.'

And damned him if he was wrong.

Gradually, Tomoe regained her senses. And along with that, her predatorial eyes, and the hiss of wildness. Shit. She is too close to her.

"Go on! I can handle her for now!"

Thinking she would target Hitomi, Acion yelled out to her. But he was wrong. Now it was him that she wanted to sink her fangs on. She circled around Acion, confusing him greatly before jumping onto his back. With the strength that he witnessed hurling the two desks at the same time, she began to hold onto one of his wings and twisted it like a bolt. Even with the strange yet tough substance that composed of his wings, she still managed to go through one of them. Each degrees turned out of its natural stance followed by a feeling of thousands of needles shooting right at that point, all at once.

"Grarhh!!"

He grimaced in sharp pain. He felt losing his own balance at one point. But he was conscious. He knew where she was. He could reach her. And he could end this. Hopefully. If that's what she wanted, then he'd be on the ground for her.

His hand shot up, over his head and over to his back, grabbing the back of her head. The other one went for the arm that held on one of his wings. Once done, his wings ceased to function, altogether, letting gravity take the place. He fell back to the floor, but not without a twist. Before the fall, he shot his legs up, so that his back was facing the ground. And hypothetically, as Tomoe was on his back, she would be the one to absorb the impact, not him.

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi stopped to watch the fight unfold as Nomoe turned her feral attention to Acion. Hitomi had no doubt Acion could handle himself, but he hadn't noticed the sleeping Tomoe's reaction to Acion's last attack. Hurting Nomoe must obviously hurt Tomoe. Hitomi had to make him aware of this. And not a minute too soon, as Acion was attempting an arial move that looked very effective. So effective, in fact, that Hitomi didn't even want to think about the effect it would have on her roomate.

"Acion, stop! Don't hurt her! If she gets hurt, The injured Tomoe gets hurt! Try and restrain her harmlessly!"

With her important knowledge passed on, Hitomi carried on running to the nurse's office, making it there without further incident, and placing Tomoe in one of the beds. Kiwi came over and began to treat her head injury. As she was doing so, Hitomi had an idea. What if Nomoe's tempter was influenced by Tomoe herself? After all, Tomoe was sleeping peacefully last time, and Nomoe was sullen and confrontational, but still docile. Now that Tomoe was in pain, she was wild, aggressive and feral. Perhaps is the real Tomoe were calmed down, her Dream Self would reflect that. Hitomi crouched at the side of the bed, and guided Tomoe's hand to her head of fluffy hair. Petting soft things was the best thing she could think of to calm her down at present.

Fumika had hastily released the frame of the door and tried to shuffle quickly away, only to freeze mid-motion as she found herself suddenly face to face with someone she hadn't quite expected to find standing right behind her. Her bright blue eyes widened slightly as she found them met by two darker ones, which for a moment seemed so intense that she started back, her hair standing sharply on end. She blinked. Yoshida had drawn back slightly as well and was smiling at her, saying he was alright. She gave a slight nod and a tired attempt at a smile. Her head still felt like it was spinning, the image of what she'd just seen burned into her mind...

"Oh... um... that's... good," she said quietly. A few faint sparks crackled up and down her bangs, causing them to frizz and twist at odd angles before they finally puffed outward and away from her face. She still looked a bit pale, but her expression had reverted back to its usual slight frown, and her ahoge was wobbling back to life, even as the lower strands of her braids twitched back and forth, rustling against the edge of the door as she stepped aside to allow Yoshida to enter.

"Ah... sorry. I didn't mean to get in your way," She said quietly. Her heart was racing, but her mind felt blank. Why was she here? She wanted to help, but the more she saw the more it all surrounded her, forcing her further and further inside herself until she almost wished she could just sink into the floor and disappear.

They had thanked her for coming... but like this, what could she do? Despite herself, she found herself peering back around the door at Takeshi, at the stump of his arm.

She remembered this feeling. It was just like before.

If only... if only her Quirk worked differently. If only she could make something, anything permanent. If only she had some way to help replace what had been lost. But she couldn't do that. Once again, she couldn't do anything. All she could do was observe.

"You didn't, Motome-chan. It's cool." The words were out of his mouth as soon as she apologized, and he meant them...but she was still looking at Yashiro. Kenichi gulped as he turned away, rubbing his side.

But now, as he entered the room proper, he saw for himself just what his classmate had really gone through. And, as uncomfortable as he was right now, he still felt a cold pang through his chest. Fast as the crack of a whip, Kenichi's breath caught in his chest for a moment.

A camera lay on its side, still recording despite the chunk of black in the corner of its lens. The aftermath of the bomb left little to see--scattered parts from the jeep, dust clouds swirling in the wind. Blood in the sand. A man's arm barely in frame, not moving. Those who watched the recording later would not be able to see what was going on, only hear the shouting of the soldiers as they shouted and scurried about. At some point, the gunfire began. A hand covered the camera, and everything went dark for several seconds.

Then Kenichi's father appeared, one side of his face caked in blood and dirt. It was so gore crusted that you couldn't even tell that his eye had been blown from the socket.

"Ken-chan...Hotaru...I love you both. But I'm...not done yet." Somehow Yoshida Nobuyuki managed to smile. A big, shit-eating grin. "I'll see you both...soon..."

Another explosion, or something much like it, went off, and the camera went black.

Kenichi hadn't actually seen that recording until after his father had made it back home. Before that, he and his mother had simply suffered through all of their worries, crying and feeling absolutely distraught and helpless, while knowing nothing more than what they could see in the news. He hadn't seen his father until weeks later, after he had finally returned to Japan, and finally been given more than just "keep him stable" surgeries, and finally been moved out of intensive care and to a local hospital. And by that time the leg, the eye, one of the kidneys, two fingers on the left hand, and several pounds of flesh and blood were gone. Some of them would later be replaced, along with a plate in the skull and several screws in the bones of the right arm.

But nothing had ever healed the crack in Kenichi's own heart. Rage and hate had just filled it up instead.

"...Yo. Yashiro-kun." He managed after a long moment of silence. The bones in one of his hands popped as he shoved his fists into his pockets. His tone of voice was hard and flinty, and his grin had twisted into a sour frown. His eyes, however, were much like Fumika's own when he looked at Takeshi. That look of wanting to help, and not knowing how.

"...Looks like somebody really fucked you up, huh?" he said point blank. That...that wasn't how he wanted it to sound. "...Any idea who did it?"

Tomoe Kishitmoto

@Silver Carrot@Conscripts

While Tomoe was onto Acion his back she did manage to snap one of his wings into an unnatural position. She grinned softly as she moved it around somewhat more. He did seem in pain, she really liked the sound he made. Tomoe tried to get her hands onto the second wing but she felt one of his hands push down her head onto his back. Her face was pushed onto his back while she let go off his wings completely. She squirmed somewhat before she noticed that Acion managed to grab one of her arms as well holding it tightly in place.

She couldn't move. Sje tried to push herself away from him with her other arm but she wasn't in any good position. She felt the gravity drop on her once Acion stopped moving his wings. They turned around with Tomoe on the bottom of both of them. She freaked out and tried biting into the skin on his back. They hit the ground. Tomoe felt the full weight of Acion crushing down onto her. Her back somewhat burned from friction. She squirmed around somewhst more but was held down by Acion his weight and her unnatural position. She growled and snapped at him but she was ultimately restrained.

Meanwhile the real Tomoe was put to bed in the infirmary by the sheep girl. Kiwi immediatly tended to her wounds, she did let out another hurted battle cry when her double had hit the ground but she seemed peacefull overall. Hitomi tried to calm her double down by making the real Tomoe touch something fluffy. It might have not been the most effective way of dealing with it right now it did help the double understand that they weren't trying to hurt her.

The double squirmed for a while after and did manage to overtake Acion when she could put her full strength to use. She skipped her way over to the infirmary and immediatly jumped at Hitomi. She lightly scratched her leg while hissing vigorously. The double jumped away from the sheep as she saw she was making Tomoe pet the wool. The double silenced down while she got low to the floor resting her chin upon the cold floor looking up to Hitomi still quite untrustingly. She would be peacefull now, unless someone woulf get close to her.

Tomoe stayed unconscious for the rest of the day atleast. Kiwi would at least tell them she would just need some rest and healing. Her egg was only lightly scrambled so she should be up in the next few days again, cheery as ever before.

The next few days

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

With night beginning to fall upon the city of Hosu, the curtain on this eventful day had slowly begin to close. For the next generation of heroes it felt like time had frozen in place as they battled old and new demons, it was a barrier that they would have to overcome if they wished to further their growth. Room by room a rather large nurse and solidly built female nurse kindly informed the students that visitng hours were now closed, despite visiting hours not being truly being finished, those involved in the incident were a special case. As the students were escorted out they would see themselves running into their homeroom teacher, Akihito Yoshida, who was tasked with safely trasnporting them back to the academy via van.

The following day was certaintly a strange one with Takeshi, Kaida, Roy, and Reina absences being a constant reminder of what happened, it was pretty difficult for anyone to really focus on their studies. Class was rather light for the day due to the students and teachers shared an equal amount of weight upon their shoulders as Komei academy was assaulted by the press. On the other side, the victims of the attack were to be questioned today in order to gather more intel on the shadow clan. The reprocussions of that attack had a very large domino effect causing society to begin to question their trust in pro heroes.

On Thurdsay, April 27, the victims of the assualt were discharged from the hospital and had returned to their dormitory that morning while the other students were in class, they're wounds were healed for the most though their vigor was clearly absent. They were ordered to rest today and tomorrow as well as throughout the weekend. Frequently through out the day, Kiwi would check up on each of the students making sure that they were recovering nicely as well as staying in bed. This worked out for the most part since none of them had reason to get into an altercation with her army of disturbing insects. Surely the other students would want to check in on their fellow classmates though Yoshida Sensei and Retha made sure that didn't happen, the only acception to this rule was if you were roommates with one of them. Not much reason was given behind this, other than a stern look from Yoshida sensei followed by a him saying they needed their rest. Though this rule was just for today.

Friday, April 28, with the week coming to an end, the mood of the students were slowly beginning to brighten just a tad bit. For those injured during the incident they had regained a bit of vigor and were now manuevering through the dormitory rather well. As for the rest of the students, their reason might have been becuase they didn't have to worry about waking up early in the morning for school as well as homework being due the following day.

Dulga Tarata

After getting back onto her bike, Dulga drove off to a night market. She knew a place where she could sell the pelts and meat for some extra coin. She came up to a young woman with an eyepatch who looked at Dulga and smirked. “Rough night?” Dulga just grunted and started to load the hides and meat onto the counter. The woman simply looked over the hides and meat, putting the bones aside into a waste bin, and calculated the total. The money was… Not much, but it would help supply her income a little. She saved a bit of meat for herself as Dulga used most of her money to buy a hotel room for herself tonight, to rest up for the journey back to school. She would have stayed but… It wasn’t safe at home anymore.

Early the next day, before the sun would rise, Dulga would drive all the way back to Komei. She made sure to buy extra gas, food, and a portable charger for her phone so she had a GPS. The drive back will give her time to think more about what she needed to do to improve herself. What actions to take, how to train herself, and what to do with the others. If there was one thing she learned from the wolves was that together they were more than a threat to her. Even if she was able to take out a few of them, they ultimately left Dulga alive when they could have easily taken her down. That sort of pitiful mercy that made her blood boil. But they had a point; teamwork would be needed to defeat more powerful enemies.

Dulga hated the idea of needing to rely on others. But she was open to ideas.

Since returning to Komei, Dulga didn’t really see anyone, not even the ones who just came back from the hospital. While she told herself she needed to work on teamwork, she also knew she had to improve her own strength too. For starters, she needed to learn how to rely less on her guns. This was the hardest part for her; using her mother’s firearms were all she knew and without them she felt naked like a baby. Even though she had super strength, Dulga knew no martial arts or fancy hand-to-hand techniques. Her fight with Mina made that abundantly clear; all she did was swing wildly at Mina and the worse she managed to do was get one slam on her. Dulga knew she couldn’t master anything fancy like judo or karate anytime soon, but maybe she could learn how to use her strength more cunningly. At the very least, in some way that might give her an edge if someone catches her by surprise.

As Dulga woke up she started her morning routine as usual; wake up, go use the bathroom, go back to her room to dress for the day. They needed to turn in homework tomorrow and Dulga hasn’t touched it since last friday, but she was slowly starting to care less about class assignments. Just training and preparations. She needed to head to the Support class and see about getting a replacement for her broken pistol. Something “Nonlethal” so she doesn’t have to keep being bothered about shooting people. But first she needed to hit up the training room. She grabbed a quick breakfast consisting of a protein bar and water before leaving the dorms. Before she had left Hokkido, she had brought three pairs of impact gloves from a military surplus store. While she had gloves before these gloves had added padding on the palm and fingers; they will be very important for what she was planning to do for today’s training.

Yukari Yozakura

It's been some time since Yukari was discharged from the hospital. These past few days have been a total blur. Likely due to the sedatives. She received some surgery on her leg so she could walk again, but she would need to use crutches for a while. She had a chunk of her flesh missing from her leg now, and her rubbery body didn't make it any easier for the doctors to try and salvage her leg. Even now she could feel an odd imbalance with her movement. It didn't hurt, but because she was so used to a specific tempo in her movement, the missing weight threw off her balance by a lot. Still... Yukari couldn't give up. That was her first real fight against a villain. And while it wasn't great, she liked to think she had what it takes to do more. She just needed time to rest, and focus on other things for now. "Yes... Rest and focus...."

Neither things Yukari has been able to do at all. Try as she might, she's been having nightmares about that day. What she thought would have been a fun and exciting battle against criminals turned into such a disaster. Her opponent wasn't even fighting her; he was just playing around. Who knows what could have happened if Donny wasn't there to also take a beating. Despite being blind Yukari could see it all in her mind; the brutality, the cruelty, how vicious he was in tearing her apart. It was something she didn't think about when she signed up to be a hero; that darker part of reality where things don't have a happy ending. Where heroes loose, badly, and are humiliated for it. It made Yukari terrified of what would happen if she tries to fight again and finds herself against an opponent she can't beat. Ever since she came to Komei she has won nothing and lost everything. No, it went ever further than that. Ever since she left the circus all she's found was a little bit of hope and a lot more disappointment. She trained alongside Jett and his Uncle, and yet Yukari has failed to measure up at all. People can talk a lot of sentimental things about how a hero is about their heart and determination, but no one wants a hero who can't win. And Yukari... Has never won.

Dwelling on these thoughts Yukari didn't realize how close to the stairs she was and fell down. She tried to catch herself but the moment she hit the first staircase she had a vision of that man slamming her against the pavement and her body froze up. Before she could snap out of it she hit the stairs a second time, and a third, until eventually she was on the lower floor in a small heap. She wasn't hurt thanks to her quirk but what hurt her wasn't physical. She started to breath rapidly and shake her head violently. "No, no no no no..." She gripped her head and squeezed as hard as she could as if she could some how crush these nightmares out from her head. But even as she tried all she did was cause a bit of a scene as she struggled to her feet. When she tried to take a step she faulted thanks to her wound, and her crutches were still on the stair case.

"... Pathetic. And I'm suppose to be a hero..."

Acion Nakamiji

CLUNK!

The sound of woods crashing onto one another echoed in the vicinity of the training room. And those outside could take heed of it if they paid close enough attention.

CLUNK!

Again, the sound emitted. There was a recognizable rhythm to that. That every three or four seconds passed, another sound would echo. It wasn't to any particular song, nor any particular rap. And it wasn't too consistent either. The interval could extend up to five or six seconds, or reduced to only two or one. It wouldn't occur to anyone that the room occupant was practicing some songs or anything. More rather he was smashing woods against each other for some reason?

CLUNK!

"Argh!"

Then followed a yelp from the inside. Peering in, it was the hero in training with six gigantic wings, hugging a side of his right hand as his brows dipped and his teeth clenched. And right next to him would be a wooden dummy, with several beams of woods protruding out of a huge cylindrical one, resembling a human being. And it appeared like in a battle against the wooden dummy, Acion just lost.

"What was that again?" He looked at the training video online. It was simply a misimpression of the move he did, in which the practitioner was actually using the palm against the dummy, yet Acion used the side. It was just as simple as turning his hand by an angle, yet it sent a huge shock right down his hand.

For the last few days, after the fight with the Shadow Clan and the wrestle with Tomoe, the room that Acion spent the most time in would be this one. Close quarter combat is not something that could be achieved and mastered in a few days, and for Acion, being guided with nothing but his own tablet made it even harder. Told by his teachers, and woken up by the humiliating fight with the Shadow Clan, in which he found himself unable to do anything against his opponent, he was determined to become a more able fighter in this. Of course he would still be mainly fighting with his wings and feather barrages, but not every battle would be fought in a way he wanted. And despite being told he made the right decision, he couldn't shake it off his head. What if that guy had been stronger? What if he did not permit Acion to leave? He and his sister would be dead-meat. So much for being a hero if one died without contributing anything of substance to the fight.

"Hrgh!" He punched the wooden dummy one more time, with his unhurt hand, as he exhaled loudly. It was not pleasant to live with the fact that you ran away from combat because you simply did not have enough strength to carry on the task. He knew he was just a hero in training, nothing more, but something kept eating him on the inside.

He gave another sigh. "I wish I have someone good enough to help me at this one."

Reina Mori

Reina didn't have much time to think on her grand-uncle's words, though she appreciated the effort to cheer her up. As she was taken to a separate room where her quirk wouldn't adversely affect anyone around her, her eyes began to flutter. Without anyone else to worry about anymore, she was forced to recognize the complete state of pain and exhaustion she was in. She didn't remember ever being put to a bed, losing consciousness sometime between her grand-uncle handing her off and her being brought to a room.

Listless as usual, a middle-school-aged Reina undressed in the girl's changing room, P.E. having just been the class she had finished. She wasn't particularly tired, never putting much effort in--physical training came on her own time, since she was never out with friends or anything anyways.

As usual, she was slow to go the change rooms, preferring to be alone, though she heard some shuffling in another aisle of lockers. It was impossible for the girl not to tense up, well aware of the potential threat, though she chose to hope that it wasn't any of her tormentors.

That was a mistake.

Her gym top and shorts were off and draped over her left arm, allowing her to open her locker with her right. Her eyes widened after she swung the door open, staring at her bag--opened up, her regular uniform torn up and in ribbons.

A loud clattering near her feet made her jump, eyes darting to the tile floor to see a pair of scissors. Her gaze quickly moved down the aisle to see Shoko and her friends. Reina's heart sank.

"You ever notice how everyone avoids you now, killer?" Shoko spoke, calm and measured, yet terrifying as always. Her friends giggled on cue. It was all Reina could manage to muffle a pathetic whimper as she stepped back, prompting the group of girls to walk their way towards her.

"I know you notice. I just enjoy reminding you."

The other two girls with Shoko quickened their steps, grabbing Reina before she could back peddle away. One clamped a hand over her mouth as they brought her down to the cold ground roughly, Reina's panic muffled as she made a half-hearted effort to break away without her quirk.

Worse, the girl noticed she had dropped her gym clothes--all she had left to get home now. She began to make a greater effort to fight back, reaching out and clawing at the tiles to try for her clothes, resulting in her head being slammed against the hard ground in the struggle. Shoko reached down to pick up first the scissors she had thrown, and then Reina's gym clothes, still out of her reach.

The tormentor gave an almost imperceptible dry smile as she held up the red gym shorts, wasting no time before cutting a vertical hole in the crotch. She glanced down at Reina, poking two fingers through the hole.

"This would be useful if you actually had any boys looking twice in your direction. With how alone you always are, I'm sure you wouldn't hesitate to make use of it for some attention."

Shoko shrugged, as if to say it was a shame that that wasn't the case, instead cutting a few more times into the article of clothing, rendering it completely useless before tossing it away to the floor again.

The girl smiled dryly again, enjoying the whimpers coming from Reina. "I do love it when you're this obedient. Makes this all a whole lot easier for everyone."

Shoko turned her attention to swiftly ruining the gym shirt.

"It's already going to be terribly embarrassing for you to get home now, isn't it?" the girl continued to calmly taunt as she moved to stand over Reina, looking directly down at her. "It'd be even worse if I cut up your underwear."

That got another small bout out of Reina, as she tried to beg through the hand that muffled her. Shoko kneeled down swiftly into her stomach, eliciting a cry of pain from Reina and putting a quick end to the fighting. The girl brought the scissors to the middle of Reina's chest, sliding them under her bra.

Shoko paused, seeming to quietly revel in the distress Reina was displaying. Tears and panic, but a quiet compliance in what was happening. Everyone here knew that Reina could get out of the situation if she wanted to--she could kill Shoko and her friends if she felt like it. But she wouldn't, and Shoko knew that. Reina was actively fighting to keep her quirk zeroed out. Despite everything Shoko did to her, Reina refused to do anything about it, and instead accept it all. It gave Shoko a small shiver that she enjoyed.

The girl's eyes glanced towards Reina's hands. Her delicate fingers. Without cutting through the bra, the scissors slid away--this only caused Reina more distress, wondering what Shoko was thinking.

"Hold up her hand."

The other two girls complied immediately. Shoko slowly touched first Reina's index finger, then her middle, ring, and finally firmly gripped her pinkie.

"The least useful finger." The girl brought the scissors around the base of the digit.

Reina started to lose it. Her heart rate shot up, temples pounding as she began to forget about controlling her quirk. Locker doors slowly opened, and the hair of her tormentors began to rise, gently pulled towards her.

Shoko almost seemed entranced, slowly closing the scissors. Reina felt the blades pressing into her skin, breaking it. The weak girl screamed through the hand that muted her. She was really going to lose control. There was no way to fight her instinct under this sort of threat. She'd hurt more people--even if Shoko and her friends were awful, the last thing she wanted was to hurt Shoko again. It was her fault to begin with. It was her fault and she needed to get her quirk under control but she couldn't she couldn't she couldn't--

"Relax." The scissors were removed from around her finger. "Don't be such an idiot. I wouldn't be able to get away with that."

Reina paused, trying to gasp for air despite the hand on her mouth. Wide eyes stared first at Shoko's floating hair, then at all the locker doors in the aisles open and pointing towards her.

"Absolute bitch. Trying to put me on my deathbed again." Reina's quirk immediately gave way as her blood ran cold--both from the guilt that began to wrack her again, and the fury building in Shoko's voice.

The girl tried to apologize, but it sounded only like another whimper.

Shoko hesitated no longer. She swiftly cut Reina's bra, leaving a slight slice on the skin of the girl's chest. The clothing was pulled away by other hands while Shoko's went down to immediately tear off Reina's bottom, leaving her completely exposed now.

"The shower," she ordered. Her friends immediately stood to drag Reina along, roughly throwing her into one of the shower stalls. One of them turned it on, giving something between a yelp and a giggle as she hopped back quickly to avoid getting herself wet.

Reina shivered, under the stream of water, the floor painfully cold on her skin. She did what she could to cover herself.

"Left this in your bag," she heard Shoko say, prompting her to look up to see the girl holding her cellphone.

Of course. If Reina's heart could sink any lower, it would have.

Shoko held it steady, pointing the camera towards Reina. Reina winced at the first flash as her picture was taken, doubling her efforts to cover herself with her arms. The flash went off several more times before Shoko spoke again.

"Have fun."

She slid Reina's phone into her pocket, turning and leaving, the other two girls quickly following behind, leaving with their own taunts directed towards Reina.

In shock, Reina could only listen to the incessant drumming of the running water. Shivering uncontrollably and in tears, the girl curled up against herself tighter and leaned into the wall, allowing herself to sob without holding back. In her mind, she only focused on repeating to herself that this was normal for her. It was deserved.

It was the only thought that made her feel just slightly better, in one way. Worse in others.

It took over a half hour before anyone else entered the changing room and found her. Reina hardly cared about the embarrassment anymore. She couldn't come to care about anything. She had felt numbness before, but never to this complete degree.

Time passed and she found herself in the school's nurse's room with spare clothing a size too big on her. Eventually, her parents came to pick her up--apparently this incident was big enough for her school to contact them, and for them to take some time away from work. There was some yelling between parents and principal. It was almost comical, how suddenly her parents seemed to care about her.

She was at her locker now with her mother. She was going to be transferred to another school. That was great news. But she couldn't seem to care. She found her phone taped to the locker, eliciting some sort of concern from her mother. It wasn't worth hiding. Reina confirmed for herself that the pictures taken of her had been posted online, making her mother even more furious--angrier than she had ever seen her.

It didn't matter. The girl deleted the pictures from wherever she could as they made their way back to meet with her father and leave the building for the last time. Those photos would be somewhere in the world forever now. Not like that changed much. She was always alone before, and she would always be alone after. The stares and whispers would continue. Tranferring schools wouldn't change that. There wasn't a bit of hope left in the girl. There wasn't a bit of anything left in her.

Reina was nothing.

Reina awoke, staring at the white ceiling above. She had to take a moment to remember where she was. The hospital. After having fought a villain one-on-one for some time.

She glanced down toward her body, seeing her right arm in a cast and sling, and her left wrapped in bandages. The girl wiggled her body to assess it, noting both her legs, and much of her lower torso was also wrapped up. Everything still hurt, but maybe less now. It was a duller throbbing, rather than sharp stinging.

So she realized there wasn't much to do but wait. The girl drifted in and out of restless sleep, occasionally interacting with nurses and eating. Other than that though, she was stuck inside her own mind, memories of her past being dredged up every time she began to doze off.

"Reina-chan! Come on already!" a young Shoko called out.

Reina stood in front of her house's front entrance, trying to lock the door solely with her quirk. It took a lot of dexterity--and she could do it... but it was usually a fluke that took a while. And they really didn't have much time today, since they were already sort of late for their first day of middle-school. Reina clicked her tongue and locked the door like a normal person, quickly bolting off after Shoko. The pair veered off their path a few minutes later to reach the house of another friend, Rumiya.

The girl was waiting outside in front of her home, brightening up when she saw her two friends.

"What took you so long? I was getting worried," she said to the two as she made her way over.

"Reina was working on her quirk again," Shoko replied with a smirk.

"Still planning to be a pro hero?"

"Of course. No reason that'd change over spring break," the quietest girl of the group replied with a small shrug and sheepish smile.

"Well the most immediate problem is not being late right now, so let's get going already," Shoko said to urge them on.

A while later, Reina found herself in her new school's gymnasium. Everything seemed to shine with the new school year and the nervous energy of the hundreds of students packed together, yet something crept in the back of Reina's mind, souring the experience. Dread, guilt, and torment, that would all originate from this large room.

A chaotic, sudden flash of the future overcame her. A familiar panic over took her body, her quirk pulling and pushing wildly, her body instinctively trying to protect itself by any means necessary. A wall of the gymnasium is brought down, taking part of the roof along with it, all the heavy pieces of rubble barrelling towards her and those near her--

Reina awoke with a start for the dozenth time that day. She stared at the hospital ceiling again for a long moment, deciding she was fed up with being trapped with her own thoughts. She needed something to focus on--without anything, she was going crazy.

The girl slowly forced herself out of bed, gently standing on her own two feet, though she kept a light grip on the bed next to her for a few minutes. Her legs were shaky, but more than usuable. Reina almost smiled to herself as she began to move around the room deliberately. Being able to let go of her quirk and walk around like this was one upside of having a room to herself.

After several minutes had passed, she made her way back onto the bed, repeating the process and taking care to avoid moving around when a nurse was likely to pop into the room. Everytime she stepped off the bed, she stayed off it longer, even going ahead and doing some light exercising.

As time slowly went on though, she found herself still growing restless and frustrated. Time spent recovering like this was time spent not improving herself. The girl found herself standing at the window of the room, staring out blankly. She let out something of a growl, gripping the plastic knife in her hand from her most recent meal more tightly, spinning around in a fit of energy to swing it as though it were a blade, mimicking some of the movements Takeshi had taught her. The girl held a readied pose for a moment, before relaxing and sighing, turning back to the window and letting her forehead hit the glass with a dull thud.

"Get me out of here already," she said to no one.

Her attendance at Komei was beginning to change her. Where there had once been nothing, there was now the determination that she had only had in her childhood before. Reina was no longer nothing. She had a goal, and, for the first time, she truly believed she could at least partially reach it. She would put herself through hell over and over to pay her dues. She could do that--the staggering resolve was there, and this recent incident was some proof that she had the necessary power.

It would take work, though. A lot of it, but it didn't matter how much. She'd do it. She would.

The girl stared into her own eyes reflected back in the window.

She'd do it, or there'd be no reason for her to be alive.

Mamoru grunted as she jumped back, avoiding three balls that nearly struck her chin and shoulders. It was just the same routine she does every morning; wake up, dress up, eat a light meal, train. It was starting to get boring. But practice makes perfect, and Mamoru couldn’t let herself falter. Today’s training utilized a weapon she was quite skilled with but haven’t put much use yet; her bouncy balls. While they may look like simply toys to an untrained eye, these things had as much punch as a pistol bullet, and could maintain their momentum even after their initial ricohette. That’s actually the problem right now.

Mamoru was trying her damndest to dodge twenty of these things while also fighting the training robot she had chosen. One that was fast and armed with a training knife. One-on-one she could handle it easily, but thanks to unleashing a handful of those bullet balls the machine was wrecked and Mamoru struggled to reach the command console to get out of here. But that was fine. This was just all part of training too! Mamoru remembered how getting shot in the leg nearly put her down for the count, so she needed to be able to avoid fast moving projectiles if she wants to be a better hero. There was just no other way around it.

”Dodge the bullet!”

Diving, rolling, and dodging the balls as she ran, Mamoru knew that it was a fools errand to try to keep up with all of the balls at once; even if you had a super genius mind to track every possible trajectory of the balls, it just mean you knew you were going to get hit. Mamoru had the welts to prove it. The important thing was choosing where it hit you; constantly moving to minimize damage without affecting her own strength. That’s the key to Mamoru’s fighting style; speed and toughness. Everything else will just fall in line.

Eventually she was able to dive out of the training room before any of those ballistic balls could also escape, and then she shut the door so Mamoru could take a quick water break. ”Alright, so maybe less balls next time. Didn’t think they’d still pack so much of a punch! But I’m not without my tricks either.” Mamoru turned back towards the room and cracked her fists. Her hands were pretty beat up, but nothing that would stop Mamoru from what she does best. And plus this time, she had a new trick up her sleeve. ”Haaaah… Trace on!

Unlike most people who spent their morning training, Donny actually had homework to do. It was boring, but it was part of class too. Admittedly not the best part of going to Komei but there needed to be some normalcy for their daily lives as well. He’s seen how it affected the others who got hurt that day; even if they managed to go back to their daily lives, he’s sure most of them are focused entirely upon getting stronger and getting ready to fight. It’s not that Donny didn’t want to either, but he knew that letting something like that consume him wouldn’t help at all. He knows all too well how wanting vengeance, or just wanting to be ready for the worse that will happen, only makes things harder for yourself. You never really snap out of it.

Homework and school life was escapes from the harsh realities. It was boring and dull, but better than living in constant fear. Donny had many escapes and that’s just how he handles his problems. Escape, and recover. By the time Donny finishes he felt empty inside. So now it was time to cook. He had wanted returned the goods brought by his stolen credit card though he couldn’t get his money back due to the items being taken as evidence, he was allowed to exchange for items of equal or lesser price. So he had brought some new cooking equipment, including that portable heat pan that he had his eyes on initially. He also bought himself a new cellphone and earbuds.

Donny did take the time to make some adjustments however. He personally stitched a few new holes in his meatsuit; this way he could more easily get in and out without just going through the face or tearing his suit off. He also added pockets on the side of his suit that is covered by clothes, just for convenience. Donny has also been slowly, albeit still bashfully, revealing his true form. He still wears his suit at all times but when it’s convenient he does use his limited shapeshifting to do things like reach high shelves, look around places, or just have an extra hand. Bit by bit he’s willing to show more of his true nature.

”For breakfast, omurice.”

Kasuke Mina

Location
Training Area
@Aerandir@Norschtalen@Conscripts@Lucius Cypher

It had been several days since the attack. Mina was still not forgiving herself for being so caught up in feeling sorry for herself that she let Jett down, and then there was the attack itself. If Mina was there, she could have made a difference. She might not be anywhere near as powerful or experienced as the attackers were, but anybody can get blinded. She should have been there. People might not have gotten as hurt if she was there. She’d been so focused on her weaknesses, but even if she were perfect and powerful, she’d be a terrible hero if she never stepped up and actually acted like a hero!

Speaking of getting stronger, she was still driven to do so. Ruby had fought Amane, and even if it was a friendly spar instead of a competitive exercise, Ruby had come out almost unscathed. Mina couldn’t shake the nagging worry that she’d beaten him, and if she could, who else in their class was capable? Just how far away really was Mina from her goal? Was she even in the top five students in her class, let alone number 1? She had to work harder. There must be no doubt. No margin for error. Kasuke Mina will be the greatest hero to graduate from this school. That’s why, right now, she was heading to the training area.

Jett on the other hand, was already there working the punching bag, his headphones in, and his mind cleared. The events that happened spurred him to train harder. While he was sure he probably couldn’t have helped the situation too much, hearing and seeing what had happened to his friends. His quirk had gone back to totally inactive. Which in a sense was a repreve, yet at the same time seemed like two steps back at the same time. At least he wasn’t popping around randomly.

He had already tried training on his quirk for the past few days, and with no success. Going back to the basics with his Savete training was helping him let off some steam of his frustration of being back to square one. He punched as hard as he could, making the bag swing out farther, and with no one holding it it was starting to swing madly. He started to move side to side, planting a few quick punches before moving again. Working on his footwork as he did.

After a few of these he started adding in his kicks, powerful enough to counteract the swing and stop the bag wild swings. Only to restart it again once he was done. He was starting work up quite a sweat now his thoughts turned to just focusing on the bag on the bag in front of him. He then switched it up after a few minutes and caught the bag in his arms, taking the full force of the bag swinging back and lifted it as high as he could, the loop coming off the hook as he did. Then twisting he threw the full weight of it over his body, and slammed it down with just his right arm, similar to what he did to Ezra on the first day, using his hip to help. He paused for a moment with his hands on his knees taking a short breather.

It was now that Mina entered the training area, having changed into the Komei gym uniform. She saw Jett, training pretty hard, and for a moment was unsure how to proceed. She’d always tried to keep her friends and her goal separate, and when she fought, even during a spar, she fought to win. But with Jett here...no. This was just another weakness. Another hill to climb. If her emotions dictated her performance, what if a villain took a hostage in the future? She approached Jett, without smiling.

”Hi, Jett. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you fight this close up. I never noticed how good you are.”

Jett glanced over as he noticed movement to his right. Seeing it was Mina. He already knew Acion was punching a wood dummy behind him, but the new movement caught his eye. Not that it was weird to see her in the training room. She did a lot of that. But when she made her way towards him he raised an eyebrow wondering what she wanted. He sighed and stood up straight, pulling the headphones out of his ears and rolling it up.

“Hey.” He answered, clearly winded. He listened to her complement, a slight smirk. “Thanks.” He said as he reached over to his bag and pulled out a towel and his water bottle. Taking a drink before looking back to her. “With my quirk and how it… well is again, I knew I couldn’t rely on it. So I focused on training… that and I got into a lot of fights.”

Wiping his face with the towel. “ So what are you workin on today?” He said motioning to her outfit.

Something slightly melancholy reflected in Mina’s eyes as she listened to Jett. It sounded just like her own childhood. Learning to fight and training every day because her quirk was late to show itself, and when it did, it was such a weak, useless power, but still she carried on fighting for her dream. She nodded, and actually managed a smile.

”I was just going to get a little training done. I wasn’t a good enough fighter to stand toe to toe with Dulga, even. All I have that I can trump our classmates on is my skill, but if it’s not enough to even the field, I clearly need more of it. Hey, seeing as how we’ll be both training together, want to spar?”

Jett shrugged “Well, fighting Dulga is like fighting three people at once to be honest. So I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself.” At the mention of her wanting to spar he frowned in thought, mulling it over.

“Sure, we can spar if you like. If you really want to wrestle around with a sweaty guy.” He said clearly trying to hold back a cheeky grin. “I was actually hoping to spar with someone. Rather be it a beautiful lady instead of a guy.” He said with a wink.

A light blush formed on Mina’s cheeks, and her face became a mask of icy irritation, even if there was pleased warmth behind the facade. ”Congratulations. If you’re making me want to hit you, you’re succeeding.” she quipped as she began to circle Jett, putting up her hands in a guarding position, ready to start sparring.

“Promises promises…” Jett added as he took a long drink of his water. Tossing it onto his bag, along with his towel. While she started to circle him, did a few stretches. He then wrapped his phone and earbuds up and tossed it to his bag while moving away from it.

Once enough away from the edge, Jett started bouncing on the balls of his feet. In a loose boxing stance. Seeing as Jett was letting Mina take the first offensive, she graciously accepted, and rushed Jett swiftly and dished out a few weak, probing jabs at Jett’s chest and core areas. It was never her style to start with a strong attack. After all, what if your opponent was fast?

Jett was expecting Mina to be a faster opponent, with her being as small as she was, she wouldn’t have the brute force of a guy. He sidestepped the first one and swiped his arm to block the next couple.

He quickly followed up with a combo of quick jabs towards her face and then suddenly a kick to her side. Just like her, he probed her back to see her reactions.

Mina was focused. As she blocked the quick jabs on after the other, it was as if all emotion had left her face and all that remained was a look of concentration. Even her eyes weren’t looking at Jett, but were darting from jab to jab with efficiency. For anyone who saw her at the Capture The Flag exercise, this is not how she fought Amane. Back then, she was fighting sloppy and emotional. Though Jett definitely didn’t see them, that was also how she fought Kaida, and how she ended up fighting Dulga. This time, and every time after this. Mina was determined to forget who she was sparring with and lose herself entirely in the rhythm of the fight.

When Jett launched a kick to her side, she caught it with her arms and her side, taking the hit but grabbing Jett’s leg in the process. She then swept his other leg and pushed forward, directing her force towards his now unstable core, aiming to get him to ground.

Jett did half expect his leg to be caught, so he wasn’t surprised. He also knew the next move as he would have done the same in her spot. Allowing his leg to be swept from under him, he hopped up at the last moment, bending his captured leg so he pulled himself closer to Mina, reaching out and wrapping his arms around her awkwardly with his knee still against her side. Using his sudden weight to throw her off balance and drag her down with him. Using the momentum of their fall to roll backwards to try and toss her off of him.

Mina wasn’t having it, and directed all of her momentum straight down. When he landed, she pinned him against the floor, pressing her forearm against his collarbones. She didn’t want to choke him out, but still wanted to keep him pinned. With her other arm, she let go of his leg, and grabbed his wrist, attempting the neutralise one of his arms. Before he could use his free arm to counterattack, she partially snapped out of her ‘fighting mode’, realised the position the two were in, and flushed. The brief window of hesitation provided an opening.

He was surprised that she held him in place despite his sudden weight. Thudding into the ground with a grunt. He knew she was gonna be quick. But she was instantly fast. Grabbing his hand and pinning him to the ground. With her on top of him he couldn’t help but redden slightly. When she hesitated, his free hand crossed his stomach and hers, gripping her opposite waist. Then with a sudden burst of movement to his left, he pushed with his free hand, as well as with his hand she held. Causing them to roll over to the point where he was on top now.

His free hand moved to hers that was still on his chest and pushed it up and over her head, along with her other hand, crossing them and pinning her elbows to the floor with his own forearms. ” Dang, Kasuke, I knew you were fast and smart, But I mean you’re like.. Foxy level right now.” He said with an idiotic grin. As he knew that would rile her up.

”Oh, shut up,” she huffed, pride hurt from the ease of getting pinned. No. Stop. Don’t give up again. Stop and think. You can get out of this. You have the skill and training. Gathering her resolve, she slid her knees up to her abdomen one at a time, and then pushed with all her might, hoping to at least unbalance him enough to let go, if not push him over her head and off her.

Jett pulled his head back. A mockedhurt face on. ” alright alright I’ll take the complement bbbbbAAAAAAACK” he said as she shoved her legs into his stomach, slowly lifting him up and putting immense pressure on his stomach. He resisted at first, deciding on what to do next.

He took his right arm and hooked it behind both of her knees and cinched them to his chest before planting his feet down and launching into a somersault, and landing on the flat of his back, his head landing just above Mina's. It wasn’t a great position and it was off the top of his head, but the plan was to pull her legs so it would keep her shoulders pinned down with her knees above her head.

Mina let Jett perform this maneuver, as though this would succeed in neutralising her legs, he now only had one hand to restrain her arms, and from his position, he couldn’t apply enough force to keep her restrained. Essentially, he’d traded her arms for her legs. Sure, she couldn’t move to a better position from here, but now she had her arms, she could get herself free. She forced her arms out of Jett’s weak grip, and then, in a dirty move expected of Mina, reached up and grabbed Jett’s ear, tugging at it. ”I’m not going to stop until you let go,” she jibed, in a tone that suggested she may be smiling.

Jett winced as she grabbed his ear, letting out a silent scream in his head. He wouldn’t give her that pleasure. But why the EAR. That’s something his mother would use against him. He gritted his teeth as she told him she won’t let go. As if she was enjoying it.

“ALLLLRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT.” He said in a little yelp. As she tugged a little more. “You want to play dirty!? I'LL PLAY DIRTY!” He said in a dramatic voice. Letting go of her other hand. But keeping his arm around her legs. He pulled his hand back and stuck his forefinger into his mouth getting it smeared with his spit and then quickly reached up to her own ear and gave her a sloppy Wet Willy.

Mina squealed, and squirmed, and the hand that was tugging his ear was now flashing with distractingly bright strobes of light. She was doing anything. Everything to get free. When she finally succeeded, she rolled clear of Jett before standing up. Her cheeks were practically growing red, and she looked...well, not pleased. She gasped two lungfuls of air, before shouting, as loud as she could; ”BAKAAAAA!!!”

Jett tried to hold her there as he wiggled his wet finger in her ear. But the strobing hand and her tugging his ear got too much and he released her legs. How ever he started to laugh, her squealing was just too cute. He rolled onto his side and held up a hand his shoulders shaking as he held in his laughter.

He looked up at her as she yelled, calling him a Baka. A big smile on his face as his hand was still up as if to calm her. “I’m sorry, you left me no choice. Actually I’m not sorry, that squeal was absolutely adorable.”

"Hmmph!", Mina answered in reply, before turning and heading towards the changing rooms with her hands on her hips, her eyes closed and an almost comical pout. "I don't even feel like sparring with you any more! But..." She stopped just before she got to the door leading to the ladies changing room, and turned round, giving a very slight smile to Jett. "Thank you for sparring with me. I feel better now."

Mamoru sat outside of the training room carefully applying ointment to her hands. She managed to catch those ballistic balls back in the room using a new trick with her quirk, but she hadn't mastered it yet. The damage to her hands wasn't due to the balls themselves, but her own quirk clipping and damaging her hands. It was something she thought up of as she was recovering from her previous injuries; she relies a lot on her shield, but physically she wasn't as superhuman as some of the other students. They had some crazy speed, toughness, or strength, and frankly Mamoru felt lacking. She was fast, sure, and ideally tough, but it's not as if everyone she's going to fight is just going to fight with fists. They'll have weapons and use their quirks, and her body isn't nearly as tough as her shield. Mamoru can't focus entirely on her quirk; she needed to improve too.

After applying the medication Mamoru wrapped her hands up carefully so the bleeding doesn't go crazy. Last thing she needed was to cause a little scare and getting blood everywhere. Once done she stands up and heads out of the training room. She needed a bit of a walk, maybe see some of her friends. Or at least some of the other fellow students. She wondered if those pranksters managed to get Amane yet. "Well, now's as good of a chance as any!" And so Mamoru left, looking for trouble.

Donny's breakfast was made quickly and eaten leisurely. As he ate he wondered how to work on his quirk more. While the battle with Kensai was traumatic, his Symbiot technique was something new that he wanted to work more on; Donny can't stay in his shell forever. If he has to reveal his true form he doesn't want people to think him as a monster, but as an ally. And what a better way than to equip them with some biotic armor and weapons? Granted Symbiot works best with a partner... Which Donny hasn't really gone out of his way to make. Sure everyone is nice to him, but he doubts anyone is really close. His fault really; he's been so shy that he's still never really got out of his defensive and reclusive nature. "That has to change. For me sake." Of course easier said than done. By now everyone has already formed their own little cliches. Donny knew he was lagging behind.

He needed to go out. Get some air, meet some people. If there was one benefit of being the reclusive stranger, it was that no one really had a good impression of what he was like. Made it easy for him to lie about himself. So once Donny finished eating his breakfast he left the dorms and wandered around the school for a bit. Perhaps he could find some activity to get involved in. How hard could it be? Just find something interesting and join in. Just doing it seemed to be the usual advice people online gave him, at least. As long as he didn't overthink it and just did what he felt was best, surely he won't have any issues making new friends.

And maybe if he focused more about where he was walking and less about hyping himself up for normal social interactions, he might've noticed the banana that he stepped and proceeded to slip on. "Baaah!" His giant floppy body hit the ground with a loud smack, hard enough to cause his entire being to jiggle. Naturally he was fine, but now he was feeling really embarrassed. He really hoped no one was watching...

"Suppose it really is No-Nut November, at least for Amane."
Toru Ayanokoji

@Lucius Cypher

Due to completely unavoidable circumstances involving a locker and a general disposition towards keeping an emotional distance from other people, Toru Ayanokoji wasn't especially feeling the impact of the injuries a few of the students suffered recently. That is not to say he particularly liked what happened, but empathy was a very human emotion, and Toru simply had trouble with it sometimes. But this was problematic for him nonetheless, as the inability to properly empathize made it rather weird for him to try to interact with most people over the past few days. His attempts to lighten the mood with jokes and things typical to him simply did not work as well as they typically did, and for that reason, his mood was just a bit more sour than normal.

Or rather, it was.

At one point, he had his doubts that pranking Amane was going to go well or even be worth the effort. However, utilizing multiple quirks and quick thinking, the ragtag team of pranksters had managed to land a successful nutshot on the jackass. Thus, Toru was simply elated to be 'living' right now. It was an effect that would probably persist for a while, granted nothing horrible happened. And with the lack of responsibilities today, that was unlikely, right?

So after sleeping in a bit and then the standard morning prep, he ventured outside. And after a short walk, he noticed a familiar female student.

Is that the ARMy of None? She missed the best thing ever!

Confident she'd get a kick out of hearing about the incredible teste takedown that had recently taken place, Toru waved to grab her attention and then sped up his pace to meet with her. "Hey, ARM--err, I mean Akasha, you missed the best ballroom blitz any student of this school has ever seen! Guinness would've awarded us, I'm sure of it. Also on an unrelated note, do you think Amane is capable of murder?"

Or perhaps a better question would be if he could have kids anymore?... Well, I doubt he had to worry about that anyways, with that attitude.
