The roar of the crowd. All your hard work has lead up to this point as you hold in your hand a shiny invitation letter.
Dear Regional Champion,
Your strength has not gone unrecognized. You are invited to join us at Stadium Island with your Pokemon Team of Choice, but will not be able to access any of your other Pokemon once you leave for Stadium Island. A cruiser liner has been paid for you, as well as room and board, if you choose to join our tournament. You will be then placed into teams randomly by our machines and face many different challenges and obstacles beside battling to take the title of Stadium Island Champion. Please mark on said box whether you accept this invitation?
_Y _N
Sincerely,
Mysterious Benefactor
The RP
Welcome to Pokemon Stadium Dreamers. You a current Pokemon Champion of any given Pokemon region have been handed a mysterious invitation to Stadium Island, taken their by a cruise ship you have realized you have been entered into a tournament to defeat other teams and be crowned Stadium Island Champion. These battles will not just test your battle knowledge, but also your bond with your pokemon, the strength in your team, and the skills you have acquired as a trainer.
How this RP Works
In Game Cannon, you are chosen randomly out of twenty trainers to fit the teams you are in. Meta wise you get to chose which team you want to be in. This RP does have some teamwork involved in some of the task in the tournament, so make sure you build cohesive team dynamics. I will need 2 people to be Team Leader of two of the other teams.
As well as your Pokemon having stats. Your trainers will have stats as well, though basic stats and nothing too extensive. But this would be used in non battle rounds. As well as your trainer class will give you extra bonuses. You will write these bonuses yourself, but the bonus is 1 advantage. For example; Bird Trainer might get judged higher points when using Bird type moves. Keep it fair and balanced. And I don’t want a bajillion psychics to be running around either. And psychics will be limited to one ability themselves; that being only telekensis, or only future sight, etc. And there will only be 1, including myself 2, psychics allowed in this RP.
In the tournament battles will not be just Pokemon Battles. There will be task where a trainer has to complete an obstacle without Pokemon. A Pokemon has to work out an obstacle without a trainer. Some cooking challenge. And FanService challenges. Teams that win Popularity from the audience may gain advantages in the next round, like extra time, or may get an item to cure an ailment over another team.

Got my interest right here. I'm a little wary of using showdown for RP battles but I'm assuming the use of judges and the other events will prevent my character from being punished for my own lack of skill in that area.
Already forming an idea. Just a few quick questions. You mentioned know legendaries, ultimates, so what's the ruling on mega-evolution and z-moves?
EDIT: Missed the discord link, I'll repeat my questions there ^^
Class Bonus: Being psychic gives Kamon the ability to use psykinetic powers to levitate and manipulate items with his mind. He seems more connected in general with his Pokemon as well, though whether that’s attributed to sharing a type or huge bond Kamon has with his Pokemon is still up for debate.
Region: Kanto - Former Champion, Johto - Gym Leader
Team Information: Team Leader Sitrus
Appearance:
Kamon has always had his looks handed down to him by both parents. Sharing Sabrina’s eyes and Lt. Surge’s hair color, albeit a bit more darker than his father’s. He never took on his father’s impressive height. Standing at 5’6”, 167cms, and weighing 119 pounds, 53kgs, he’s smaller in comparison to his father though that’s never really deterred Kamon.
Kamon probably be more popular and more handsome with the ladies, if he didn’t wear a permanent scowl on his face. He always seems to have a look of annoyance that tells people to steer clear of him and his impressive aura doesn’t really help that. When you’re outside the norm of human capability people tend to shy away.
His hair is often unkempt and shaggy, though groomed. And he doesn’t really fuss about clothing style. Often seen wearing all styles and manners of clothing. Though often he appears in unkempt, baggy clothing as well. A wrinkled button down shirt, with a barely tied tie, and cargo pants give the impression of someone not willing to sit still for too long.
His eyes have always been a great stir of controversy. As they tend to be two different colors at once. Often a pink, blue marbling iris, that has irregular spikes of energy that flow when he activates his psychic capabilities.
Kamon often speaks in a very quiet, but husky and smoky voice, that again would mean he’d make a great ladies man. That is if he didn’t scare people away with a brash and abrasive attitude.
Personality:
While it is true that Kamon has mellowed out over the years, a single look from him is often enough to get others to back down. Actually some of Kamon’s victories start with trying to intimidate his opponent before they even battle. Some even say Kamon has the look of a Pokemon in his eye, Kamon thinks they are exaggerating a bit there. Few who know him describe him as an intense and intimidating presence, few will even walk up and talk to him due to this. If Kamon even decides he wants to speak with you.
Yes, Kamon holds down more conversations now than he ever did. He still likes to remain to himself, often secluding himself from group activities or people. In some ways Kamon is scarred from the horrible things he has seen people do to each other, things he has seen people make their Pokemon do to others, or what people will do to their Pokemon. Kamon is deeply invested and even bonded to the lives of Pokemon, spending his teen years mostly alone and mostly understanding Pokemon. It makes Kamon off to other people as cold and indifferent.
You don’t necessarily have to breakdown Kamon’s walls, instead you more likely simply have to evade them. While true Kamon doesn’t prefer other people’s companies, he’ll still engage with those who make the initiative to speak with him. His own powers make him feel detached and isolated from others like him probably due to the hurt he had received in the past before from others. Once you have properly invaded his walls, you get a different picture of Kamon than the easier surface narrative.
He is a caring and compassionate, maybe even a passionate individual. With intense viewpoints, though it all comes out of love. He is someone who is deeply invested and cares for the lives of others, especially Pokemon lives. He is curious and easily excited by things he doesn’t know, and he is quite talkative once you get him stated on a topic. In truth socially he might be just a generator that someone needs to warm up to get started.
Though he does experience moments of social exhaustion, so when he does retreat from even those he’d call friends, it is likely due to social jet lag.
He can be quick witted and a bit snarky. He is fairly laid back, and that’s no more apparent when he decides every solution in life requires levitation. Fishing, levitation. Cooking, levitation. Catching pokemon, levitation. It’s a quirk of his powers others suspect, as in someone out of touch from doing something the apparently normal way.
The apparent flaws of Kamon is that despite being laid back, he is actually quite abrasive, he can seem smug at times and over confident about his knowledge and skills. He can be prideful of his heritage, and he does have an explosive temper. One that includes outburst of floating objects and further glowing eyes.
A caring, loyal, defender of friends and Pokemon alike, with a stormy internal personality is the best way to aptly describe Kamon.
He likes yogurt, going on adventures, having good battles. Dislikes cruelty, some people [some people are better than others], and weird textures.
Trainer Stats
Cooking - 3 - Kamon understands the basics of cooking, golden brown means nice and done, this spice compliments this spice, this is bitter, this is spicy. But that’s really all there is. Kamon isn’t master plating dishes making them delicious with your eyes. Often it’s a messy plate, with items of food scattered onto the plate without design of where they may have went. Beyond that his food is painfully average in the taste department. It’s edible, it taste okay, and will fill you up. But Kamon is not a master chef.
Style - 5 - From a coordinating aspect Kamon’s average in understanding the methods of moves and the way they compliment his Pokemon’s nature. But what Kamon lacks in actual coordination, he makes up with his natural bond with his Pokemon that make their personality stand out. His Pokemon are bursting with energy and clear focus, anyone can tell they shine brightly with a strong bond. Now if Kamon can gain the knowledge of how to realize in performing rather than battlinge, he’d be more skilled at this.
Styling - 1- Kamon doesn’t dress his Pokemon nor does he give them hairstyles. It’s kind of apparent Kamon has no clue in this department. And he takes everything very straightforward. Cool means sunglasses despite there might needing more planning involved in Coolness.
Battle Knowledge - 9 - This is where Kamon excels at. He has been studying Pokemon types, and Pokemon weaknesses throughout his whole life. And when he sets up a game plan it is surprising and the least you expect to show up. Kamon doesn’t just adhere to the traditional type setups, and all of his Pokemon have a trick up their sleeve in one way or another.
Role: Flame’s role in the team is to be the fast domineering physical sweeper. He soaks up damage with his big bulky body and uses fast, powerful, physical moves to knock out as many of his enemies team before they have a chance to really get into their groove in battle. Just because Flame is a Fire Type don’t expect the duo of Kamon and Typhlosion to not be creative and work as a cohesive team. You’ll be left blindsided and surprised if you underestimate the sheer tenacity Typhlosion has.
Personality: Flame’s always been the troublemaker of the group, not that he purposely causes trouble, but he can be a bit more eager than the rest of the group. A bit hasty and a bit too ready for battle, Typhlosion likes to get a head start of everyone.Always preferring to be first and getting a slightly jealous when he isn’t part of the plan. He really just wants to please those around him. Flame’s always liked the praise and joy that he gets when someone, especially Kamon, is excited or happy with his work.
And despite all of his eagerness Flame is extremely loyal, to Kamon especially. Even protective to his fellow team members. He display rather warrior like qualities, like jumping out to take a hit for one of his teammates because he doesn’t want to see them get hurt badly. Or being unrelentingly loyal to those that earn his trust. He is rarely seen leaving Kamon’s side and is quite protective of even Kamon at times. Been known to stand in front of those that he doesn’t like to intimidate them for Kamon’s sake.
It’s very clear Kamon and Flame have a deep bond. Kamon is the person he understands and knows the most. They are more than trainer and Pokemon and more like brothers. Flame would not and could not be coaxed to leave Kamon’s side no matter the tactic or manipulation someone tries Flame will not leave Kamon’s side. He would rather die by any means then be ripped apart from his person.
Which means Flame is very stubborn. Even normal commands is difficult for others to get Flame to obey because he’s so narrow in thinking. It’s hard to lure Flame over for even the most normal of activities, like accepting food or picking something up. Of course he’ll do something someone else tells him if Kamon is near, even if Kamon says nothing on the matter. Though it is rare to see Flame leave Kamon’s side they are often side by side as most of Kamon’s Pokemon are.
And Flame like his namesake can have quite the fiery temper. Though that ties into its deep loyalty and protective nature. Those who brutally harm anyone Flame trust, and has his deep admiration, will meet a mouthful of fire. Flame seems sensitive to the brutality of his friends and family, likely because the death of a family member greatly impacted Flame to be more dedicated in saving those he cares for even more.
He hates to see Kamon hurt and will try to do things to cheer him up, but just as much as he hates to see Kamon hurt, he hates to see any of his friends or family hurt. Flame has been known to bring piles of berries to cheer others up. Most likely because they are his favorite type of food.
Flame loves bitter Rawst berries and he also loves Sweet and Spicy Poffins, that Kamon doesn’t make. Has a habit of being too hasty to start a fight.
“People aren’t going to understand my son,” his mother’s voice could be heard in the bedroom of his supposed aunt’s room. Holding tightly onto the Abra egg and rubbing it slightly.
“It would have been better if he stayed with you,” Aunt Janice replies. They both trying to be so quiet on the computer so he can’t hear them. It’s his fault that he can’t control his powers when he’s upset. Maybe he should save his mother and his father the trouble? If he has powers, then maybe he could live out there like a Pokemon.
Quickly, but trying not to make any noises he runs off to his room, placing the egg on the bed.
“We’ll live out there,” he tells the egg, “So they don’t have to worry that I don’t belong.”
Gathering clothes and shoving them into his bag, he has powers, the wild Pokemon can’t hurt him. He’ll be safe. Everyone is already so afraid of what he can do, he’ll establish himself out there. He’s not eleven, but no one said he couldn’t leave earlier. Sticking his head out of his room, they are still talking so he tippy toes out of the front door. Running out into Illex Forest, he keeps Abra’s egg close to him.
“See we made it,” he says.
Running out into Illex Forest, he keeps Abra’s egg close to him.
“See we made it,” he says.
Except that it is quite dark in here. There will be no way to tell when the sun has come up. It’s fine. His father taught him how to make a fire and how to camp outside. Hugging on the egg, he continues. A HootHoot hoots in the distance. It’s quite dark in here. Maybe he should hold off until night passes. Setting the egg down in a sort of clearing Kamon looks around.
“We will create a big fire and sleep here,” Kamon tells the egg. Running off to find some sticks to start a fire, it is becoming quite evident that this place is a lot bigger than he initially thought and the trees are all so tightly packed together. It could be easy to get lost in here, even if he gathered years of knowledge on how to navigate it. He needed a new plan, somewhere less dense to live. What will his Pokemon cry be, he wonders? Gathering up some sticks, there is an odd noise in the distance. His heart begins to race. There is said to be ghost in this forest. There are a lot of stories told about ghost taking children away.
“Hello,” Kamon calls out.
Looking around. He has to get use to the sounds of the forest if he’s going to live here. Locating the strange sound, he comes across a small, green Pokemon. It seems to be crying Kamon can feel that it’s scared.
“Hi,” Kamon says again. He must have startled it because flames shoot out from it’s back, getting down on the ground and raising his hand for it to sniff him, “It’s okay. You’re scared, may I ask why?”
“Purr, ree, ree,” it says frantically.
“You lost your family,” Kamon replies, “That’s okay. We’ll find your family, but right now I was going to start a fire. Would you like to come along? It’s better to be in a forest with others than scared alone. Don’t you think?”
Sniffing him one more time, it decides to come along. Following him towards where he left Abra’s egg. He points to it, “That’s my Abra. My mother gave me it. It was supposed to be my first Pokemon. When you know.” he looks at trees, “But that’s just happening a little earlier than expected. No one said an eight year old couldn’t travel alone right.”
“Prr,” it seems curious as to why he’s not home. Did he lose his parents too?
“No, I uh, ran away, they are worried about me all the time,” Kamon pauses, “So I am going to live in the woods like a Pokemon.”
He hugs his knees, as the Pokemon looks at him, “It might not be a good idea, but what choice do I have? I am not like other kids.” he begins to levitate several objects up in the air. The Pokemon looks at him.
“Rrr prrr eee,” it cheers.
Kamon laughs, “That’s why I can live out here because I am like a Pokemon.”
The Pokemon jumps up and down, looking excited.
“You want me to lift you up,” Kamon replies, “Okay.”
Raising the Pokemon up with his abilities, it begins to giggle. It finds being levitated fun.
“At least you’re not scared,” he smiles.
3 Days Later
At least they found them. A group of Pokemon all similar to the one he found a few days ago. Hugging onto Abra’s egg, he watches as the family greets their family member back. Even his mother seems relieved and happy. It’s probably time for him to move on, he probably couldn’t live with that group. The Pokemon he had met runs up to him quickly.
“Rrr, prrr,” he tells him.
“I’ll be around and I’d love to play again,” Kamon replies and watches it run back to its family. It’s hard to tell what night and day is like in this forest. He just walks around very indistinguishable trees. They all look alike. Sometimes you think you see a Pokemon, but sometimes you think it’s the dark. He just has to survive. He knows how to survive.
“Come on let’s find a nice place to call home,” he whispers to the egg.
More walking around. Does this forest ever end?
“Kamon!” his name is being called. It could be a trick. Ghost trying to play a trick on him. There’s flashlights cutting through the thick trees, breaking up into broken parts of light, “Kamon!”
Someone is calling his name. He’s startled by the sound of barking.
“Woof, bawrk bawrk,” an Arcanine has found him.
“Scout found something,” a stranger’s voice. Suddenly an officer, accompanied by aunt Janice and several other people are heading his way with flashlights. She looks as relieved as that Pokemon mother as she runs up and hugs him, “Thank goodness you're safe.” she says, “What were you thinking?”
He says nothing because some of the people are from town. He’s scared of what they will say. But she does care. She was scared for him.
“Sorry I found a Pokemon and he needed to find his family,” he murmurs an excuse.
She runs her hands through his hair, “Don’t ever do that again.”
That Cyndaquil did come back several times after that incident and they played in town together or in aunt Janice’s backyard. Now though he had to say goodbye because he was starting his journey in Kanto, where he was born before he was shipped off to Johto. His mother said it was for his protection. From who? There she stood, on the dock, waiting for him to come. They’d meet his father in Vermillion City. She and his father seemed highly important to the Kanto region. He had mixed feelings sometimes. Sometimes he wanted to be as influential as them and other times he was angry at them for being so important. Still seeing her overwhelmed him with joy as he ran to her and hugged her.
“I missed you,” he declares looking at her.
She smiles at him softly.
“I missed you too Kamon,” she tells him softly, “I missed you so much.” She looks at the Abra in his arms, squished from his abrupt hug, “And how is Alpha today?”
“Ready,” Kamon replies, looking back at Johto one more time, “It’s time to go back home.”
He smiles at her. She brushes a bang out of his eye and begins to walk onto the boat they were taking to get back. That’s right, he found a flower for her. Putting down his bag, and opening it.
“Aaaa!” Kamon is startled as Cyndaquil’s head pops out of his bag, holding flowers in its mouth.
“Rrrr,” it looks at him confused.
His mother giggles.
“It seems you have made a friend,” she says.
“We play a lot together, or did play, I didn’t know he was going to stowaway in my bag,” he stares at the Cyndaquil.
Sabrina just leans on the side of the boat, “So what do you want to do?” she raises a brow.
Kamon looks at Cyndaquil and smiles, “You wannah come along?”
“Rrrree,” he replies excitedly.
Role: Wish role is to provide defensive and supportive backup. A physically defensive Pokemon he cures his allies of status effects, and he has the ability to heal any of his allies in battle. Though don’t underestimate him because he can be quite a tough opponent as well. Just like Flame he can take quite the bulk of damage, but he can dish it right back at you with high special attacks.
Personality:
To some they would say Wish is skittish and shy to newcomers, which isn’t a terrible assessments from an outside perspective. He doesn’t like when people move quickly towards him and seems hesitant with large wide hand motions, even high pitch voices seem to set him off and more noticeably is his fear of loud noises, especially thunder. Though like Kamon has gone through some healing over the years, it is safe to say the same goes for Wish. If Kamon is near Wish may accept a pat or acknowledgement from a stranger, and when near his new Pokemon family it opens up a whole different side to Wish.
While Flame is eager, maybe even a little too hasty to start battles. Wish can come off as a bold and confident Espeon with the right support. In battle he almost seems smug and proud of his own power. Holding himself up with dignity and clear strength in oneself. As if to say that he owns this battle. When he is lifted and supported by his Pokemon family and Kamon he seems at ease, relaxed even. When it comes to Flame or Kamon being around Wish will be seen relaxing under the sun or sleeping.
If Flame is the brash, bold, and hasty warrior than Wish is the cool demeanor brain. While it is true certain noises, sounds and touches will take him back to places he otherwise doesn’t want to remember, he also seems to be able to keep his calm in most situations. He’s not the one to start the fights as easily as Flame and he certainly doesn’t have the easy temper of Flame either. Instead he is a thoughtful, strategic individual who takes his time to assess the situation.
He nevers seem to lose his cool in high stress situations. Though that doesn’t mean he isn’t scarred from a painful and hurtful past. Certain sounds or smells or noises bring him back to a dark time that haunts his past. But with Kamon and the rest they assure him he is safe now. He does feel safe now, but new situations always make him uncomfortable. He out of the whole group isn’t often the one who goes off to meet new discoveries or explore. He is most often the most honest about how he feels and can give the impression of someone stuck up when he rejects their calls for his attentions. Strangers are often left ignored if he doesn’t like them enough.
Grateful for Kamon and Flame’s commitment to his safety. He like Flame have devoted his time to protecting his allies and wouldn’t simply let harm come to them. Unlike Flame, he can tell the difference between malicious intent. Not an easy Pokemon to trust others, you often have to ease your way in by knowing Flame or one of the friendlier others. Knowing Kamon is another good way of knowing Wish as well. As he trust the judgment of Kamon the most.
Role: While Flame is a fast physical sweeper, often brawling his Pokemon and wiping them out with devastating strength. Alpha is a special sweeper who uses his psychic abilities to surprise his enemies and trick them into submission. Like most of Kamon’s Pokemon Alpha won’t go down easily and like many of Kamon’s Pokemon they can be surprising and difficult to predict. Especially when Alpha has been known or seen to predict the future of attacks with high accuracy. Attacking Pokemon with domineering psychic abilities. Plotting future attacks. Alpha might not seem tough, but like many of Kamon’s Pokemon is a force to reckon with.
Personality.
Maybe Alpha is not simply an insight into how Kamon treats his Pokemon, but also an insight of Kamons predecessor his own mother. As Alpha has qualities that his mother and father might have been displayed, things Kamon’s mother wanted in Pokemon obviously. Kamon probably wouldn’t be the trainer he is without the hard work and dedication of Alpha. And he is quite the dedicated, hard worker. He is the calm, serene presence often seeing meditating the day away unless action needs to be taken. He also is the one who takes care of the team in the areas Kamon lacks.
While Kamon is kind and inspires motivation in others, it’s very clear that Kamon struggles in domesticate affairs. Cooking is one area that Kamon simply struggles. While his food might not kill, it certainly lack any sense of planning. Being quite a smart Pokemon Alpha is a curious and voracious learner, and thus he took up the concept of cooking for the team. If he’s not meditating, he is seen reading recipes to try. Usually having four or five books floating around it at a time.
Alpha seems pretty relaxed most of the time, he’s not as active as Flame is. And spends most of the day relaxing and reserving energy. Out of the team Alpha might be the most calm. Headstrong and stubborn it can be very hard to push his buttons. He as long fuse, though there are things that can quickly anger him. Taking his books away while he’s reading them. Trying to touch his spoon is another way to quickly anger Alpha. Another thing that can anger Alpha is of course hurting the Pokemon under his care. That is any of the Pokemon Kamon is currently taking care of.
He is the wise old man of the group. Often giving the group, Flame, Wish, Dream, and Squash advice. Now is it always good advice? Well that is questionable in their interpretation of Alpha’s advice. A mud bath for Wish was probably not what Alpha meant when he told Flame he has to engage Wish with fun activities. Still Alpha at least likes to think of itself wise. Maybe his surface statement sounds good on the surface, but his common sense is lacking.
And while Alpha maybe the tranquil Pokemon in the team, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a protective or nurturing side. Alpha’s own protection doesn’t just stop at the team and Kamon, though Alpha can become quite upset if someone intentionally hurts Kamon, Alpha doesn’t like seeing baby Pokemon or eggs being misused. It is also fierce in battle and quite reactive. While Flame may be hasty and eager, Alpha is quick and reactive. He trust Kamon fully in the heat of battle and trust that Kamon will protect the team as well.
Likes books, enjoys music, and will enjoy a good joke. Doesn’t like rowdy playing.
His parents faces are blown up on the computer, each sharing a side of the screen. His dad is big and smiling, he hopes he doesn’t grow up to be a giant like him. While his mother is calmly smiling, she hasn’t subjected herself to a really big pointy birthday hat like his father has, with the words Birthday in vertical font. A cake sits in front of him, one with strawberries and eight candles. All lit and melting wax onto the frosting a little.
“Look at you growing up so fast,” his father says happily, “Soon you’ll be strong like me.”
“Eee,” Raichu calls out.
“Either way we really just want to tell you happy birthday,” his mother looks at his aunt Janice, “And we have a special present for you.”
His father smiles big as Janice gets up to something hidden under a blanket. Considering the shape, it’s an egg. Really!? He excitedly gets up, but there’s a bit of a thought in the back of his head, Don’t be Pikachu. Don’t be Pikachu.
Janice hands him the blanket, “Go on.”
An Eevve be okay, all the eeveelutions lead to interesting results. It’s also a good basic Pokemon to begin with. He wouldn’t mind a psyduck either. Slowly unveiling the egg, it’s…
“An Abra!” he looks at the computer, “An Abra egg!”
His mother smiles, “Yes Ace and Omega were in breeding season and when this little egg was discovered, we decided it should be yours.”
His father has tears in his eyes, “I wish it had been a Pikachu or a something with a zap. But alas.” Sabrina rolls her eyes for a brief second.
“It’s okay, I’ll take good care of him or her,” Kamon replies.
“Normally Abra isn’t much of a beginner trainer Pokemon, they can be fickle, picky and hard to train,” his mother says, “But with your natural gifts I think you have the talent.”
This is the best. He’ll have two years to train Abra. So Abra will be ready for their journey together.
“Come on Cyndaquil,” Kamon says, ushering Cyndaquil to a secluded spot under a slide in the play yard of the school, “I can feel him moving. I think he’s ready to come out.”
“Prr,” Cyndaquil sniffs the egg.
The egg begins to crack a little. Come on. Both of them are watching the egg with intensity. Come on. The egg cracks some more. Both of them are digging into the dirt with excitement. Faces maybe a little too close to the egg. It finally splits and an Abra stares at the both of them. Kamon rises up quickly and hits his head on slide.
“Oww,” Kamon says, before popping a popper, confetti comes raining down, “Welcome to the world Alpha!”
It seems confused. Though recognizes his voice as it stares up at him.
“I’m Kamon,” he says slowly, “This here is Cyndaquil. He is a friend. Your Alpha.”
It simply raises itself off the ground with some levitation. Looking at the both of them.
“Come on I’ll show you around town,” he says ushering Alpha to follow, “This is my school. I am not really liked around here. Turns out people don’t like when you levitate objects.”
He smiles. Alpha continues to watch him with curious confusion.
“You will meet my Aunt Janice, she’s my father’s sister, but she’s not strangely inhumanely tall. Oh and you will meet my mother. And your parents,” he continues to excitedly hand out exposition. Some of the townspeople are already watching him cautiously. He tries to ignore it. Some haven’t been too happy they had to look for him in the forest. “Always causing trouble”
Abra shifts it’s attention to the people and then back at him. Learning all kinds of new things already.
“Hey Kamon,” Niko, a kid from his class stands in front of his way. Kamon glares at Niko.
“Rrr,” Cyndaquil growls.
“What’s that?” Niko ask.
“An Abra if you paid attention in class you’d know that,” Kamon retorts back.
“That’s not what I am asking, how did you manage to get an Abra? Did mom and dad help you?” Niko sneers.
“Should have asked that in the first place. It’s’ Alpha’s birthday, so excuse me, I don’t want to waste it talking to caterpie snot,” Kamon responds.
Alpha continues to watch the exchange. Lifting it’s head up only slightly it begins to glow. In seconds Niko is being levitated in the air. Kamon looks a bit impressed.
“Oh woah, Alpha doesn’t like you apparently, I can’t use my powers on you, but it seems he can,” Kamon smiles, “Probably should put him down.” In the water. Splash. Niko is falling into a puddle. Kamon kind of laughs.
“Good one,” Kamon says, “And it’s asleep.”
Alpha lowers it head and has drowsed off.
Role: While Wish’s supportive role is by being able to soak up physical damage and dish it right back out, even healing and curing his teammates. Dream supportive role is one that protects the team from special attacks the enemy might have. Even sacrificing her own energy for ally’s energy. And unlike Wish her role in the team isn’t necessarily to out pace and outlast a foe’s Pokemon, but instead make sure team has the supportive ability to do so. She does have some offensive options when she needs to fight, turning her specially defensive role into one that can force an opponent to think creatively on how to deal with her. And while she plays a pivotal supportive role, in her Mega Form she can be a devastating enemy.
Deam at first glance doesn’t really seem like a Pokemon Kamon would own. Usually his Pokemon are regal in some way or battle hardened Pokemon. While Dream is calm, she also comes with different priorities being an elegant Pokemon who takes the time dedicated to paying attention to her style. And seems very unhappy not to be pampered.
In truth Dream is a bit of a difficult Pokemon for Kamon to own because it is difficult to tend to a Pokemon so demanding with its needs. She can be very vain and refuses to get herself dirty, she has been known to use safeguard to make sure the rain doesn’t get on her. And she demands that Kamon take care of her properly. If she feels she is not getting the adequate care she deserves, she simply won’t listen. Which can be frustrating.
However, she is not a vindictive Pokemon and it isn’t like she’s going to hold grudges for very long or have a giant outburst about it. She also trust and loves Kamon’s company, so it is frustrating for her to choose her loyalty and trust of someone over her self care. Though much like Alpha she is Kamon’s saving grace when it comes to styling, as she is very aware of style and what looks good. In fact believe it or not, but Kamon’s trainer video made in Kalos was entirely in the taste of Dream. Otherwise Kamon’s video might have flopped. It might also have been her idea to do a video anyway. More like a suggestion and nudging Kamon in that direction. He reluctantly agreed.
She’s not easy to anger. Though she may not be happy if you get her dirty or put something ugly on her that doesn’t feel flattering. She can be kind of a drama queen in that way. Though she is quite mothering to Kamon’s team. Providing them nurture and pampering them. It seems to relax Wish a lot as well. Just like most of Kamon’s Pokemon she won’t let Kamon or the others get harmed. It might be the only time you may see her fiercely angered.
She’s not necessarily fond of King though. He’s too rowdy and messy. Though she gets along well with Flame and Wish the most. She finds Alpha too stuffy even for her taste. And while her personality might have been influenced by a different lifestyle, she’s still inspired and motivated by Kamon’s drive to continue going on.
She may not have started off in Pokemon battles and it might have been a difficult adjustment for her, she admired Kamon took the time to work with her on it. She stays with Kamon because she has found love and acceptance with the team. She trust his word and trust his drive to never give up. She only desires that he takes the time to do things she likes to do. Sometimes she prefers to be glamorous than be dirty and bruised from a battle.
She likes sweet flavored poffins, she likes coffee, and shiny jewelry to put on herself.
Role: Flame uses strong physical attacks to put out his enemies. But King outlast them. Getting tougher and tougher in battle, mowing them down as a bulky physical sweeper. If Flame doesn’t outlast his enemies, King will. He has stamina for days and the strength too. King is probably the only Pokemon of the team that is what you see is what you get. While Kamon is a creative trainer, King enjoys the fight a bit too much to always listen to more strategic plans. Especially in his battle hardened state. Though it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have some tricks. It’s just rare to pull it out of him.
Personality:
King can be the odd Pokemon out in the team. Some of Kamon’s team aren’t entirely sure if he has reformed himself or not. While Flame’s eagerness for battle is out of naivety and a lack of common sense, sometimes even intelligence Alpha states. King eagerness battle is all out of the fact that he simply enjoys battle. The smell and state of blood gets him all hot and bothered. Once he starts, he can’t stop and it takes a lot of Kamon to pull King out of that state.
In fact because of the opposite of their natures it hurts Kamon to try and pull him back mentally when he’s trying to keep King calm and under control. But King is grateful in Kamon who sees something in him and gives him a chance to be a different Pokemon. Old habits, especially ones that have been performed for a very long time are often the oldest to break. Though sometimes Kamon and King repel each other, and it’s been a difficult fight to change King.
Though there are improvements. He does listen better and now listens to Kamon’s commands a bit more. He also allows Kamon to mentally engage with him more. He’s not starting fights with other Pokemon and he’s not beating them up near to death any more. One of the reasons King is at odds with the others is because Kamon couldn’t pull King back and had to physically get in front of King’s attacks to stop him from killing another Pokemon. Injuring his arm in the process. The team have conflicts afraid King will hurt the others or worse hurt Kamon again.
King doesn’t want to hurt Pokemon. He doesn’t want to be a killer. But it is what he was bred to do. Fearful Pokemon make King rush with excitement like a predator ready to take down prey. It’s hard to fight that urge the one his previous trainer gave him. Back then it didn’t matter to King, King didn’t see the harm in it. Slashing and killing, breaking other Pokemon as his trainer laughed and he felt happy alongside his former trainer.
But something touched King’s heart. The tears and anger of another who was upset, even hurt, and stronger angered by his actions. It was the first time King experienced sadness affect him, or experienced the pain of someone else. It was then that King felt regret. And guilt for his actions. King wants to change. King wants to redeem himself and so he does so following Kamon. Hoping one day he can earn the love and trust of the others.
He is actually quite respectful that Kamon even took him and works to help him. Even loves him. Something King had never experienced before. How can someone so angered by his actions, then give him the opportunity to change himself? So King will follow Kamon. Kamon has his loyalty and now his trust. Now King desires the trust of the others.
King is a bit of a glutton he likes to chow down on food. Not only that, but he likes to seek glory and can kind of be known to gloat in battle.
Role: That’s quite a large Gourgeist. Squash’s role in the group is a bit like trying to hit a wall, it stands in your way, opposing, and only really tormenting you with it’s rather adorable demeanor. Gourgeist role in the group is to be a physically defensive tank. Unlike Wish, it doesn’t necessarily support the team with healing and buffs, nor is it like Dream. Flame and King are meant to be big bulky physical sweepers and Alpha is a special sweeper who uses his psychic abilities to overwhelm foes. While Squash sits somewhere in the middle. It can hit pretty decently, but is meant to sit and take damage, while exhausting the foe’s Pokemon trying to break through its defenses. It’s essentially a powerful hitting tank that waste enemy’s time exhausting themselves before they are taken out properly by the quick physical and special sweepers.
Personality:
Cute doesn’t seem to be the aesthetic Kamon is going for, but most when they set their eyes on Squash will note how cute it is. Generally out of the group, it is the most relaxed. Liking to spend it’s time in unusual resting spots, humming to itself quite happily. Some would say the large Gourgeist sitting in empty flowering pots is a reflection of Kamon’s true personality. Considering how Squash and Kamon actually met.
Squash likes to spend it’s downtime relaxing and having a good time, it is often seen - to Kamon’s embarrassment - uprooting flowers from pots to sit in the flower pots, hum, and dance a little to itself. For whatever reason this particular Gourgeist is attracted to incredibly sweet scents and can be kind of mischievous in that aspect. To Kamon’s dismay. One incident in Squash’s pursuit of sweet things lead it to a poffin bakery. In which it decided to eat said poffins. Kamon then had to explain to the officers why it wasn’t technically theft.
Squash is the more childlike and naive Pokemon of Kamon’s team. It seems easily distracted by things that catch its fancy and has a sense of curiosity that can lead others into danger. It seems to generally love Kamon and does love to be held. The only other person allowed to hold Squash is Gardevoir, but that might because it likes her perfume. It just also seems blissfully unaware that it can lead the ones it loves into danger. That or it is truly plotting murder.
While Squash can be relaxed, and is generally a happy little gloomy guy. It does have a vindictive side and holds grudges towards others who upset it in any slight way. And any slight way is at the mercy of what Squash finds an offense. Steal his sweets. He will plot horrible nightmares on you when you sleep. Send wild, possessed flowers to attack you. And any other little petty activity it can think of.
The best way to keep Squash pleased is often to let it do what it wants. The only that seems to be able to manage his behavior is Kamon. Anyone else who tries to tell Squash no might meet their fate with possessed objects, him sitting on their balcony or in their room singing terrible songs, or inducing horrible nightmares where you dream. Even Kamon’s own team can’t seem to manage it from causing mischief. It’s why Kamon find ways to keep Squash entertained.
Trainer Name: Victoria Pax (Official last name is Von Rosen, but she uses Pax to keep suitors away.)
Age: 19
Trainer Class: Lady
Class Bonus: Being an heiress to a wealthy family and the last in her house, She has several generations of wealth to use to bribe judges, hire assistance, and finance her time on the Isle in some luxury.
Region: Sinnoh
Team information: Team Leader of Team Persim
Appearance:
Victoria stands a proud 5 foot 5 inches tall. Her blood type is A+. Victoria always walks elegantly and like she has a purpose. One foot in front of the other with all the hip swing that causes. She definitely does this while on stage or in a pokemon battle. On stage she always stands with her shoulder back and keeps eye contact with her opponent. She never runs anywhere unless it is a clear emergency. Victoria wears fancy dresses while when on a stage or formal occassion, but will wear more casual attire when outside of the limelight. It is rare to see Victoria not in a skirt of some kind. Even when she is in athletic travel attire she has a skirt.
Personality: Victoria dresses to her status and tries to give off an appearance of being unapproachable. However, She does not hold her status over people. Victoria prefers to let actions to speak louder that status, money, or words. She respects those who show self-respect, self-reliance, and treat others well. Victoria has a lot of money to throw around, but she does not use money like it is valueless. Money is but a means to an end not an end in itself.
Despite being wealthy, She is not the dumb rich girl who does not know the value of money. In fact, she sees money as a means to cut short the journey to the destination. She sees money as a means to an end, So Bribery can used to achieve victory or you can use raw determination and willpower to get to victory. The end goal is victory. Frankly, Victoria sees value of peoples actions and judges them accordingly. She brings no prejudice when she first meets someone. If she can bribe someone then they are lesser, deplorable creatures. If they refuse the money she can respect them. By that action it shows that they have some internal fortitude or higher aspiration.
Trainer Stats: These are pretty basic, but will help you with your overall with points outside of just combat in a variety of other challenges. You have numbers 1,3,5,9. 1 being your worst skill, 9 being your best skill.

Nickname: Arturia (Glaceon)
Stats:
Arturia is a enduring Special attack fighter. Using weather, she will take blows and dish them out just as hard. Arturia loves tag battles especially with Guinevere. Both being Ice cold and immune to Hail effects.
Personality: Arturia is never in her pokeball, and is always at Victoria’s side. She does love a good tag team fight especially with Guinevere.
How you met: Arturia was a gift as an Eevee to Victoria from her father on her tenth birthday. She was Victoria’s first pokemon. Arturia was both given out of tradition but also as a way to keep Victoria occupied and thus not worried about her mother’s recent death. Victoria’s father was grieving badly for his wife and became distant to Victoria. Victoria played with Arturia to pass the time as the manor became more quiet, more empty.
After some time, the manor began to show signs of neglect as things fell into disrepair. When Victoria was 12, her father took her up to the North of Sinnoh to a secluded Cabin. Events transpired that Victoria does not like to speak about, but She ended up fleeing the cabin as the snow fell around her. Taking Arturia with her. Arturia and Victoria ran into the woods as the sun was setting and not long after dark, a blizzard set in. Victoria tried and failed to make a fire. Freezing cold. Victoria finally found a small cave and was able to block the entrance from the wind. With not a lot of room, She and Arturia were shivered together.
Knowing that they would die if they stayed Arturia left Victoria to go find help. Braving the blizzard, Arturia marched out to find help and humans. Along the way, Arturia discovered a Snorunt. The ice pokemon refused to let Arturia continue on in her mission. Refusing to back down, a pokemon battle began. Freezing as she was, Arturia was at a severe disadvantage. Refusing to surrender, refusing to fail, refusing to allow herself to be defeated, Arturia evolved. She changed from an Eevee to a Glaceon.

Nickname: Guinevere (Froslass)
Stats:
Guinevere is a fast especially in a hail storm. She avoids attacks, moves fast, and hits hard.

It saw an eevee struggling in the snow and went to go tell it to go back to shelter. It refused, so Guinevere used force. It lost to this newly evolved glaceon and seeing it as stronger, decided to follow it. The glaceon found humans and got them to form a rescue team. Together the glaceon lead the team to find a little girl, Victoria. After the girl recovered from hypothermia, Snorunt continued to follow the Glaceon. When the girl offered a pokeball to the snorunt, Guinevere accepted and became a staple part of Victoria’s party.

Nickname: Maxwell (Gengar)
Stats:
Gengar is a special attack power house. He hits hard and fast never giving up the advantage.
Personality: Maxwell is very rash. Always quick to anger and acts often without thinking and without consulting others for advice. Maxwell is not that much of a team player. He can fight in a tag battle as long as his partner stays out of his way. Maxwell was may not be the best thinker when it comes to a problem, but give him a task he will complete it in his own way.
How you met: Not long after Victoria began to wander alone across Sinnoh, that she came across an elderly man. He was sitting on a pier just watching over the ocean. The man asked Victoria to stay a while and speak with him. Victoria willingly accepted. Together they watched the sunset and the old man talked about his life and how he had spent years raising pokemon. As the sun set and the stars came out, the man turned to Victoria asked if she was a trainer. She replied yes. The man asked if she was willing to take a haunter of his hands. Victoria refused. The man said he would trade it to her. After all, Victoria had mentioned she had just caught a bidoof Accepting a trade for a Hunter for a bidoof, Victoria gained a Gengar. Maxwell had been a little much for the old man. Maxwell proved to be a pain in Victoria’s side for quite some time afterwords.
---
Nickname: Sophia (Chandelure)
Stats:
Sophia is a gentle soul. She never wants to attack first. In a pokemon battle,, she needs to be attacked before she will work up enough anger to retaliate.
Personality: Sophia is a gentle soul. She is usually quite passive. She refuses to partake in conflict if it can be avoided at all. If a verbal fight breaks out around her, she is likely to retreat back inside her pokeball. Some might call her timid, but if attacked, Watch out, she will hold not punches in burning you alive.
How you met: Victoria had wandered for 4 years around Sinnoh before returning to her childhood home, the Von Rosen manor. In that time, the manor had been abandoned and had fallen into disrepair. Victoria slowly wandered through her old home with sorrow and a little bit of hesitation. Windows had broken by the wind and weather. The Floorboards creaked and the air was silent and still. It was in this atmosphere, Maxwell felt at home. Leaving his pokeball, he zoomed through the house. He knocked over two chandeliers that crashed with a thunderous bang. Victoria verbally scolded him, but as she did, Maxwell tried to knock down a 3rd Chandelier, but to his surprise and Victoria’s the chandelier was a Chandelure. And one that did not enjoy being messed with.
Victoria and Maxwell won the fight and Victoria captured the rouge pokemon, but the fire that had started claimed the Von Rosen Manor. Victoria watch from a safe distance as the last of her childhood burned away.

Nickname: Baron (Drifblim)
Stats:
Baron is a tanky floating bomb. Attacking from high above. He can be quite the issue to handle, However, he has a tendency to hate losing. When he starts to lose a fight, he will usually try and take his opponents (and sometimes allies) with him.
Personality: Baron is kinda a casual, free floater. He takes very little with seriousness and dislikes when people try and act like the world is at an end. He tends to keep things slow.
How you met: Victoria met Baron kinda by accident. While traveling high in the mountains of Sinnoh, Victoria was caught out in a sudden and very violent rain storm. Not having shelter she tried to make her way down the mountain. In the heavy rain and the mud, She slipped and tumbled down the mountain. She grabbed onto the first thing she could. It slowed her fall. Coming to rest on a ledge in the side of the mountain away form the worst of the rain and wind. Looking at what she grabbed, She was surprised to see a drifloon. The drifloon was holding onto her hand for dear life. Both had unexpectedly saved each other. They waited there, waiting out the storm in each other’s embrace. When the storm passed, they became fast friends.

He would trade a Dusclops with a reaper’s cloth for an Onix with a metal coat. Victoria said she was interested by she did not have a metal coat, but she had an Onix. The man insisted gifting her a metal coat. Victoria immediately made the trade Gaining Alexandar.
Interest checked, though I have a question on the app.
You said that we weren't allowed legendaries or "ultimates". What did you mean by the latter? No Mega Evolutions? No Ultra Beasts? No Z-Moves?
I more or less asked on discord. The answer for anyone else curious (from what I understand)
Mega-evolutions are allowed, with the limit of one Pokemon that can do so per team. Z-moves are frowned upon though not necessarily illegal. Our GM just is unfamiliar with them. No Ultra Beasts or legendaries, though what counts as a legendary can be discussed for the lower tier event Pokemon and such.
So, if I wanted both a Tyranitar and a Garchomp, I won't be allowed to give either one of them a Mega Stone, and if I wanted one of them as a Mega, I'd have to ditch the other? That sucks if that's the case; I figured that Mega TTar and Chomp would go nicely together :/
...
I'll start working on my app since I have nothing better to do atm.

Mega Evo are still pretty OP. They roflstomp over most teams already. I figure one should be sufficient enough to give everyone a fair balance.
Class Bonus: Maira is a gamer, and while she won't admit it, a proficient hacker. She can use her computer to learn information, such as what pokemon her opponents register, or even learn what the judges prefer(if such things are on a computer).
Region: Maira was born in Alola, but moved to Kalos when she was six.
Team Information: Maira was placed into team Apicot.
Appearance:
Personality: Shy - Maira is not shy in an anti-social way, in fact she is quite comfortable around people, even if she's put in the spotlight. Seeing her sociality, you might even wonder why those who know her say she's shy, well touch her and you'll find out. Maira isn't afraid of physical contact, she's not going to suddenly pull away, or freeze up. Rather, she has what others might describe as an odd reaction, the slightest handshake making her light up like a christmas tree. Her friends have even theorized that if someone were to hug her she would literally die of emberassment. If one were to ask her why she turns red every time another human comes into contact with her, she would respond with something along the lines of 'people feel weird'.
Intelligent - Maira's father was a scientist, and some might credit him for her intelligence, though anyone who watches her would learn that while that might be partially true, she actually studies and works hard. She is more book-smart than she is street-smart, and it's obivous that she still has plenty to learn, both about life in general and pokemon battles. Though, despite her age and lack of experience it's clear that she is able to devise excelent strategies given enough time, her on the spot plans tend to fall apart pretty quickly though.
Blunt - Maira tends to have a lack of social elegance, she might be social and liable to start, or continue, any given conversation, but she doesn't really pull her punches. If she thinks you dress strange, she will say so, if she dislikes you, she will say so. This isn't neccesarily a bad thing, as this goes for compliments as well. This also means she is both excellent, and horrible at keeping secrets. If say, she catches you sneaking off on some secret rendezvous, and you ask her to keep it secret, she will until someone asks why you are missing, if nobody asks the secret will remain.
Trainer Stats:
Cooking - 9 - Before she could go out on her own both Maira's parents insisted that she know how to cook. After all, both she and her partner's would need to eat and restaurants get expensive real quick. So, she learned how to cook a few basic things, and while journeying challenged herself to learn new things, even entering a few cooking competitions.
Style - 5 - Bringing out the natural talents of a pokemon is a trainers number one job. Above battling, above performing, above all else a trainer should be able to bring out their partner's talents. This is a core belief that her father, a breeder, instilled into Maira at a young age. She doesn't try to make a pokemon what it isn't, rather she helps guide them in whatever way they are meant to go.
Styling - 3 - Maira isn't above putting a bow, or maybe a fancy collar on her partners if they want them, or brushing their fur coat if they have one, but for the most part dressing a pokemon is a foreign concept to her. In her mind pokemon are already perfectly 'styled', some people even strive to look like pokemon with fashion choices, so why should the pokemon be covered up?
Battle Knowledge - 1 - Battling isn't Maira's forte. It's not that she doesn't have the knowledge, she graduated from trainer school early and at the top of her class, but rather she's not good at reacting. She tends to overthink, if she goes into a battle with a plan and everything functions as intended she seems like an expert, throw her a curveball however and she'll question every action after, trying to figure out how to get back on to the original battle plan, rather than rolling with the punches and simply trying to win.
Nickname: Haunani, an alolan term meaning beautiful snow. Maira often calls her Nani, but will correct others if they do so.
Stats: Pokemon Showdown, Team Builder, Screen Shot
Personality: Haunani is both a team player, yet also seems to not work well with others, this being the first time she and Keahi have been separated, and it's obvious that she's missing part of herself. Despite that, she is protective of Maira and is glad that even though they both couldn't come at least she could.
Outside of combat Nani gives off an air of calm and elegance, seeming to shrug off most things. She is fond of her fur being brushed, and while she doesn't mind getting her fur dirty if necessary she will expect to be cleaned as soon as possible.
In combat she retains her calm elegance, but seems to also be rather violent, not hesitating to pull out her best moves, sometimes without or against orders from Maira. Usually, she has Keahi to balance her out, so now she feels she has to make up for some lost strength.
How you met: Haunani was a gift from her father, or rather half of one. When they moved from Alola to Kalos Maira's father gave her two pokemon eggs. Most kids her age only had experience with family pokemon, rarely having one they could call their own, Maira was bribed with two. When the eggs hatched, both were vulpixes, though one was white, the other red. She raised these two vulpixes together, and they went everywhere with her.
After going through trainer school, she decided she wanted adventure, and she was sure her vulpixes could take her anywhere, that there was no challenge they couldn't surpass. It took some convincing, her being a whole two years younger than most who start a journey, but her parents let her go. She came upon her first gym, and challenged it, losing the battle rather quickly. She took the opportunity as an experience, and after learning everything she could about the gym leader's team, she returned and challenged them again. This time however, she lost even faster than the first time, at this time she was ready to call it quit and head home, if she couldn't even surpass her first challenge the future seemed hopeless.
Haunani and Keahi however didn't want to give up so easily, and when she said she wanted to go home, they ran off towards the gym, her giving chase. By the time she caught up, both the vulpixes seemed to be challenging the leader themselves, and he accepted. She watched, as they together in a double battle easily did what they seemed unable to do apart. The leader of the gym confronted her afterwards, and told her that he couldn't give her a badge for the victory since it wasn't an official battle, but instead he gave her two stones, telling her he liked the spirit of her vulpixes. It wasn't until a year later that she, and her vulpixes, decided it was time to use the stones, after which they went back to the gym and she challenged it again, this time leaving with the badge.

Hello all! I’m thinking of making a Judge since I’m not the best at team making. My game teams are usually just Pokémon who I think look cool and have good moves. Ivs and such scare me. So a Judge sounds like a good idea.
Probably gonna go with a Pokémon Stylist Judge with his best friend and assistant Levi the Leavanny. Or some other bug type. I haven’t decided yet.
Preference: Generally speaking, Maceroy prefers to seek out situations and subjects that make an impact - Pokemon, attacks, attack typings, or simply the most glorious outfits - if it's glam, and if it's stylish, it's in, at least in his mind.
Appearance:
The best word for describing Maceroy is "svelte" - though "sleek" does make the cut for how little body hair he has, his entire body is pale, slender, and very well toned, with icy blue eyes and black hair typically presented in a bob-cut covering one eye. To complete the look, he may apply many different combinations of lipstick, hair dye, nail polish and outfits, ranging from intensely stylish to overtly sensual, though occasionally they veer into absurdly eccentric, such as wearing food.
Personality: Speaking of "eccentric", Maceroy absolutely fits the bill in that regard - his attitude is certainly nothing less than flamboyant, and he'll often wind up posing like a rock star on an album cover when excited. It's not that difficult to get him to that stage, either, given an attitude of intensely upbeat "go-getter"-ism, eager to please and be pleased no matter how you slice it, though equally he can find himself just as intensely soured by something that really fails to flick any of his switches, or indeed targets a major personal tick-off of his, such as the nature of his relationship with his Pokemon, or the suggestion that his clothing is (save a few noteworthy exceptions) anything other than fantastic. Indeed, whilst he is an expert clothing designer as well as a contest judge, he is the same sort of expert who is interested not merely in sticking with the usual industry standards, but in throwing as much stuff at the wall as he can and seeing what sticks, not to mention wearing it even at his own expense - be it leather or silk, cardboard or porcelain, perishable or not.
Nickname: Sazzy

Personality: The nickname gives a hint: Maceroy's Salazzle is the sassiest girl you will ever meet, human or Pokemon, and she is not at all afraid to show it. With a Choice Scarf equipped just for fashion's sake, a high-quality blonde wig that she flicks for dramatic effect complete with a shower of sparkling... sparks, and often one of the latest items in Maceroy's line on her frame, not to mention posing alongside her master and friend at every opportunity, Sazzy is one snazzy girl, and she will show it off to you in probably-backhanded fashion at every opportunity. Oddly enough, she also seems to enjoy rough handling even if it seems like it'd be somewhat painful, something that might not be apparent given how she fights - that is, very trickily, avoiding hits and toying with the minds of her opponents whilst doing everything in her power to mess up their fighting style. She was also much more liberal about how she used her pheromones in the past, but she and Maceroy have come to a strict accord about that issue as of the present day.
How you met: Maceroy's parents were quite well-off and quite well-meaning, but not exactly what one would call "responsible". This might be why they spent a fair sum of money on giving a Shiny Salandit to Maceroy at the ripe age of ten years old, importing it to Sinnoh all the way from Alola without really checking to see whether he would be responsible for it, and far more importantly without checking its gender.
It turns out he was very responsible in looking after it - it was difficult not to be, when he was inundated with its pheromones half the time. In fact, he soon wound up being very underweight, enough that even his parents managed to notice something was off. They took him to a doctor, who quickly diagnosed the problem not as anorexia, but as his Pokemon effectively mind-controlling him; when they found it difficult to separate the two for multiple reasons, they instead prescribed pills to make him more resistant to the effects of his Pokemon's pheromones.
The pills worked, mostly, but they did so by essentially blocking off his dopamine receptors, leaving him functionally depressed for an extended period of time. This was not a good thing for a developing tween, and in combination with his Pokemon's disobedient and almost snarky attitude toward most people, his parents had a fit of actual responsibility and decided that the best thing would be to simply ditch the Salandit with another family without children, despite the protests and wailing that ensued. Even once he was off the pills, the loss of a friend- and despite the pills and pheromone control, Maceroy did feel that his Pokemon had been an actual friend by the end of things- left Maceroy in a well of despair for quite a while afterwards, something he only recovered from gradually by steadily integrating back into his fellow classmate's social circles.
Then, at the age of fifteen, some serendipitous fate brought the two back together. Maceroy happened across a veteran trainer with a team seeking to take on the nearest gym, and showed the team off to Maceroy when asked. Maceroy didn't immediately recognise the Shiny Salazzle that formed one part of the man's team, but she certainly recognised him, and both were ecstatic to meet one another once more. His attempts to apologise were brushed off light-heartedly, not like he could have done anything about it anyway, and after a while of catching up and marvelling over how they'd both grown, the trainer promised to let Maceroy keep seeing his old Pokemon whenever he wanted after he returned.
Suffice to say, the next year was the start of an up-turn for Maceroy. To cut a long story short, he and the Salazzle grew closer to one another in part due to much-reduced pheromone usage on her part, his moods improved drastically as a result, and eventually, the trainer insisted that he take her back, suggesting that she was closer to Maceroy than himself anyway - and besides, he'd gotten his badge and other rewards aside, so why keep her there as long as he kept up her training? And with Sazzy returned to his side, the duo started working together on fixing what they'd done wrong previously - and in particular, on Maceroy's future path in life, which before he'd discovered her again had been somewhat rocky.
She helped shape his psyche, and he helped shape hers. Maceroy never intended to enter Pokemon tournaments as a mainstream affair, but he certainly kept up with Sazzy's training and skill as requested, and even managed to teach her some new tricks too. At the age of seventeen, both of them found their most important common interest: Maceroy had had plenty of well-designed clothes to examine from his parent's wardrobe, and it transpired that Sazzy's second master had been a bit of a contest participant on top of a tournament fighter, earning the Salazzle quite a few ribbons and an eternal interest in looking fantastic. Thus, they started to work almost feverishly on bettering their ability to work, and work with, fabric, leather, and when those ran out just about anything else they could get their hands on - his strange prepubescent interactions with her and his medication, plus her present predilections, left him uncaring of the usual limitations that a clothing designer might be presented with.
And when the editor-in-chief of one Poké Chic fashion magazine happened across this fledgling work, she was impressed - not just with his, nay with their skill, but also with how they presented it so flamboyantly, and how they went into styling because they truly loved it, and not just to become famous. It wasn't long before, under Hermione's guidance, the duo rose to fame, offering up clothing for both humans and Pokemon of all sorts, and as a side gig acting as judges for a great many contests. Which brings us to this contest: they've got the moves, they've got the skill, and they've got the opinions! All they need now are subjects to judge!

An ill wind blows, it is cold and feels mildly of sinister intent. The moon seems brighter as if it were trying to illuminate a truth. Though it cannot breakthrough the darkest gloom that. A darkness that eats away at your vision like thick fog. You are surrounded by an ominous wind. Mischievous laughter surrounds you and every foreboding of something dark, slowly creeps closer and closer. The baleful wail of a guitar vibrates through your core, as if it is to pull something spiritual out of you. A single string plucked that creates ghost like vibrations that echo far.
“The dark can be terrifying place, those who do not have an inner light are swallowed whole by it’s ever somber presence.”

In the Dark Cave, the light of an Ampharos’ tail sweeps through tunnels, making sure that everything is all clear before heading further and deeper into the cave. The busiest areas are lit up with different trainers, all with different types of Pokemon illuminating the cave walls. Making a name like Dark Cave seem ironic, trying to clear away from the crowded tunnels of trainers looking for Pokemon trying to hide in the dark. In the distance as Ampharos lights up small portions of the cavern, you both pause as there is a young man sitting in the dark, with his legs cross and his eyes closed in the dark.
“Do you need a light,” the young trainer of Ampharos ask.
There is no answer and you’re sort of afraid that the man before you has died. Stepping up closer, touching his shoulders. He open his eyes slowly. He winces at Ampharos tail, shielding his brown irises from the light.
“Yes,” he replies dryly, his voice is faint, almost as if he’s tired or sickly.
“I um...was worried that you might need some light,” he murmurs.
“No need, your concern is appreciated,” he replies and even now that he is slowly becoming more aware from his meditative state, his voice is quiet and faint.
“Why are you in the dark?” he ask, looking at a man with unusually ghostly white skin and stark black hair. Wearing a black kimono, as if he were going to a funeral. Straw sandals and at his side a staff with rings dangling from a center ring.
“Why are you not in the dark?” he ask.
You notice the guitar case. He plays an instrument?
“To navigate,” he replies, “You aren’t scared of the dark?”
“I know plenty of stories that a light lead travelers to witness horrors, just as much as I know many stories about the horrors in the dark. It depends on your perspective of things, does it not?” he ask.
He’s kind of creepy. Despite the calm that surrounds him, you’re really weirded out. It’s probably time to leave him.
“I..um going to go,” he replies nervously.
“Do you battle?” he ask as he stands up, “I’m Kurosaki Yuki.” he’s tall, a scar on his cheek, around 5’8”, 172cm. You wanted to avoid this entire situation.
Personality:
“In life there is always opposing forces. You can either oppose them, exhausting yourself of all efforts and have nothing left. Or you can let them pass and repair them like a storm that has ravaged a home.”
Yuki is as enigmatic as snow is enigmatic, cold and foreboding you would believe that like the winter lies a harsh and sinister individual. But look again, there is great beauty to the snow. Things you wouldn’t have seen without the snow are illuminated and highlighted. There is a beauty to the cold. As there is a gentleness and beauty to Yuki. The cold doesn’t have to mean unfriendly or someone who stays from others. In fact those we perceive as cold are often merely quiet. Thoughtful, taking the world in their own way and own time.
Yuki is a fairly calm individual, it is difficult to see how anyone could manage to get under his skin. He often takes things as they are and it isn’t getting a rise out of him, insults don’t work they tend to slide right off of him. Yelling or commanding him isn’t going to work either, as he tends not to respond to forcefulness. Bribing and other methods don’t really work as it often feels like you’re talking to a stone wall. This gives the impression of someone unworkable, who doesn’t get along with others. But the opposite is more true. Yuki has no qualms working with others as long as it is not done in a cruel or forceful way.
He isn’t impressed by greed or material things. Spending time collecting inspiration from nature itself. Meditation and spending time with nature, all forms of nature gives Yuk insight the world. He finds that the cycle of life and death is one that should be respected, not avoided or feared. Rumors say he spent his time in a abandoned and haunted house for several days. Some people assumed that he had died. But when he emerged from the darkness he said the ghost grudges have healed. Probably the reason some think he is an exorcist.
Death is as something to be cherished as life is to be cherished. Of course he never wishes for anything to die, but when it does it must be honored. It’s life must be celebrated and it’s death is to be held with great care. Yuki doesn’t mind that part of his job, making death beautiful decorating it with things that made that made that individuals life something loved, cherished, and wonderful.
It is true, it is difficult to get under Yuki’s skin with petty behavior. He won’t respond to it, often ignore it, or respond with something sly and coy. If you want to get under Yuki’s skin it is acts of defilement. Acts that betray the sacred bond between Nature that irritates Yuki. People who feel they can control life. Abuse it. Demand and command it. It doesn’t mean he’s against Pokemon trainers. As long as they respect where they came from. Respect the life that looks up to them, than Yuki doesn’t mind them. It’s criminals. Thieves. Sometimes even corporations that pour pollution and smog into the air. It’s the bigger and busier cities that push the natural balance out of the way as if it doesn’t matter. Those are the messages Yuki battles.
Which makes Yuki extremely judgmental to some. Not all. But if you are decked out in jewels, waving materialistic goods in his face or wear it on your person without the insight of the world around, Yuki has a tendency to trust you less. People who think they are better than others, and somehow others are inferior than others. People who are shills or people who act in a certain way will have a more difficult time getting to know Yuki because he has a habit of shutting those people out. Unless they prove otherwise. He’s not preachy about it. Just know if you’re met with silence it might be the type of person you are.
Beyond that he is highly creative, musical even knowing how to play the guitar and more traditional instruments as well. He after all started on the Koto. He prefers simplicity, though complexity has its merits as well. And devotes his time not living beyond his means or allowing himself to be absorbed in egotism.
Trainer Stats:
Cooking - 1
Indeed cooking can be as beautiful as telling a story, and as artful as a painting, but Yuki has none of those qualities. Food is for survival and while Yuki isn’t a terrible cook, he doesn’t spend his money or time wasting it on expensive, extravagant ingredients. Food should be nutritious and healthy for you and your Pokemon. Anything else is seen as gluttony.
Style - 9
It is true, Yuki is not the trainer you think he is. Before battle knowledge is a mind game. Most use Style to be flashy with no substance. Instead Yuki uses style to play psychological warfare with the other players. Utilizing the strength of his ghost type to intimidate and fright before they drain you and leave you empty. A prolific storyteller and sinister guitarist leaves his opponents unable to predict or too afraid to predict his team’s next move.
Styling - 3
Each Pokemon does have it’s own personality and it’s own look in life. They like different things and any trainer who neglects the needs of appearance, as it is important for people as well, is lacking knowledge. While Yuki might not be a coordinated and his outfits might not all be the best choice, he is pretty good with simple looks. A cute bow tie for Banette. Sewing up Mimikyu’s disguise. A hat for Marshadow, maybe a bracelet. Simple is best by design.
Battle Knowledge - 5
He is aware of Pokemon types and Pokemon weakness, but considering the delicacy of his Pokemon, he focuses on the psychological game than the physical game. Utilizing the niche strength of his Pokemon to overwhelm, taunt, and torment his opponents. He’s aware that he isn’t some super trainer like some out there, but that doesn’t mean that Yuki wins by luck alone. There is a strategy and a understanding of how a battle works. How to out smart. Out think an opponent and Yuki will take full advantage of it, using fear as a tactic.
Curio - Banette - Male
Role: What you might think from a Ghost type is a frail thing that couldn’t take hits, but with Curio’s Cursed Body, Curio is the one who takes the hits for the team and makes itself a nuisance on the field. Taunting and tormenting it’s foes as it reappears and disappears into battle. Stealing their moves for its use, and hitting them hard from the shadows. A powerful special attacker, who is equally physically defensive Curio provides himself an elusive foe.
Favorite Moves: Phantom Force Magic Room Snatch Dazzling Gleam
Mega: Curio’s role only slightly changes when he mega evolves. Switching from a physically defensive special user. To a bulky special sweeper, with his high defense still in tact. His tactics change from one of a trickster and a prankster in battle. To one that hits hard with special moves, using it’s warping and ability to appear and reappear to sweep foes.
Favorite Moves: Ominous Wind Thunderbolt Dazzling Gleam Calm Mind
Role: Mimikyu might be the more stubborn of Yuki’s Pokemon, it overstays its welcome and provide the teams with fast, supportive qualities. With a decent defense and defensive strategy, Mimikyu can take a hit or two before giving out. But don’t assume that fast bulky support means that Mimikyu cannot dish out the hits. In fact it is best not assume this little guy is helpless. It eats away at your life force and plays games that keeps it standing while you end up weakening slowly within time.
Role: Yet again Yuki’s Pokemon prove one thing, and that one thing is that the spirits that reside at his side are not delicate flowers that easily fall apart. They are deceivious, they play tricks on you. Stealing your life force and taking away your strength only to grow strong themselves through your weakening state. Relic provides the team with a rather bulky special sweeper, who uses specialty moves to sweep enemies and take them out. The game isn’t about being faster than the opponent, only outlasting the foe.
Role: While most of Yuki’s team is about endurance outlasting the foe, playing, devising tricks. Eidolon role in the team is a fast and brutal physical sweeper. His goal is to come in and take advantage of the enemies weak and tired state, by taking out as many of them as fast as he can. Eidolon isn’t about fancy tricks though he does share some traits with the team in boosting himself while draining the enemy of any strength left.
Favorite Moves: Earth Power Shadow Bone Ancient Power Flame Charge
Role: Like Eidolon Gremlin’s role isn’t to outlast the enemy’s Pokemon, it’s to take them down. Fast hard and use all of their waning strength against them being the team’s secondary fast physical sweeper. Gremlin’s big advantage is his fighting spirit which Eidolon doesn’t possess. When Gremlin’s fighting spirit raises he becomes more determine. He gains a keen focus in battle.
Favorite Moves Spectral Thief Laser Focus Work Up Acrobatics
Role: Like most of Yuki’s team, his Pokemon are built to draw out battles, to exhaust their foe, while remaining strong themselves. They draw out of the power of others and use it for themselves. Though Shroud is less a trickster about it and more a laser focused hunter. While his ghost pals use their abilities to trick others with their location, Shroud is more straightforward. Pinning, stunning, and tapping his enemies picking them off in battles meant to bleed them out.
Favorite Moves Energy Ball Nasty Plot Roost Spirit Shackles
Trainer Name: Angelica Lumenril (Prefers Angel for short)
Age: 20
Trainer Class: Cowgirl
Class Bonus: Angelica has worked with pokemon from a very early age. She understands pokemon and their body language. She knows how to take care of pokemon. Though this understanding, Pokemon seem to trust Angelica more than they normally would trust any other stranger. Pokemon are also likely to seek Angelica out for help.
Region: Hoenn
Team Information: Team Sitrus
Appearance:
Angelica stands 5 foot 8 inches tall. She has a firm athletic body that looks like it is accustomed to physical labor. Angelica is a very practical woman. She will only wear a skirt or dress under formal occasions. At all other times, she is in jeans and pants. She always wear her cowboy hat to keep the sun out of her eyes. At times, she will wear sunglasses whenever the sunlight gets too bright. Angelica does smoke cigars and cigarettes, but only when she is trying not to talk or hide her nervousness. If you do not have anything nice to say, it is best not to say anything at all. Angelica has a megastone on her cowboy hat. It reacts to the stone held by her houndoom, Hades.
Personality: Angelica is a truly honest soul. She loves hard work and is not ashamed to get her hands dirty. Angelica rarely keeps a secret, not because she loves to gossip but because she refuses to see secrets as a path to power. She prefers to deal with things out in the open, in the light of the day. She never resorts to deception and will actively avoid telling a lie. She will try to avoid being overly blunt in sensitive situation, but the truth will always be preferable to a lie. Sadly, Angelica has gained the bad habit of smoking. she Does this not out of liking cigar, but it helps her avoid being overly brunt by allowing people to think she has nothing to say. Smoking also matches the aesthetic of her mostly fire type team with gives of the appearance of stubbornness shown by a lot of her team.
Trainer Stats: These are pretty basic, but will help you with your overall with points outside of just combat in a variety of other challenges. You have numbers 1,3,5,9. 1 being your worst skill, 9 being your best skill.
Cooking - 3
Angelica does not do much cooking nor does she have a refined pallet. Most of her pokemon are fine with nibbling on grass and her other pokemon like burned meat. Angelica likes to make chili and stews. Stuff that would be easy to carried and cooked while out on the trails and away from civilization.
Style - 9
Angelica loves her pokemon and has a deep connections to her own chosen pokemon. She does not want to do anything wrong in the eyes of her pokemon. In exchange, her pokemon do not want to disappoint Angelica. This interplay between her and her beloved pokemon pushes each other towards higher heights. They work together to keep each other at a high standard of being.
Styling - 1
“How do you make a Tauros more beautiful than it already is? It is a brute and its muscles are natural.” Basically, Angelica beings ‘down to earth’ does not understand the point of dressing up pokemon. She can keep her pokemon clean, but beyond that, they style themselves.
Battle Knowledge - 5
Angelica may not be the best of trainers, but she has a clear strategy she follows. She manages a strategy based on the move ‘Sunny Day’. All her pokemon know the move sunny day and She has prepared strategies to counter the main weaknesses to her team. She knows she is weak to Fire, water, Dragon and Fighting types. She has a plan to counter them but She still struggles.
Pokemon Team
Team of Six, No Legendaries or Ultimates
Nickname: Mercury (Talonflame)
Role: Mercury serves Angelica as a scout, providing reconniance and tracking pokemon over large distances. When on the range herding her families Tauros and Miltanks, Mercury has come in handy in alerting Angelica to danger to the herd. In battle, Mercury is the usually the first pokemon she sends out. This will serve to take a measure of the opponent as well as set up a ‘Sunny day’ effect. Mercury is also the main solution Angelica has to the fighting types that mess with her plans.
Favored moves: Sunny day Brave Bird U-turn Solar beam
Personality: Mercury is a proud and dutiful pokemon. Always on a look out for danger and always eager to report any danger in the environment. Mercury has good eye sight but occasionally he will make mistakes. He might think he saw an ekans in the grass only for it to be a shoelace that was not properly tied. He is very protective of Angelica and will try to scare off people who might be scary to Angelica. Mainly men. Angelica is not intimidated to men, but Mercury thinks she is. Well, it is either that, or Mercury is just being territorial. It is hard to tell.
How you met: Mercury is not Angelica’s first pokemon but it is the first she ever managed to catch. Angelica did not depart on her pokemon adventure when she was 10 because of her obligations to her family and the ranch. Shortly after she got her first pokemon, Hades, Angelica’s father had a business trip that took him to the Kalos region. He took Angelica along with him. Naturally, Angelica brought Hades.
While traveling through Kalos with her father, Angelica came across a wild Fletchling. Angelica did battle with it, but it got away from Hades. The Fletching did not take its defeat lightly and it pursued Angelica for a rematch. Several days later, while her father was in a conversation with an important and wealthy businessman, Angelica was attacked by the Fletching. They fought a long, low intensity fight. The business man looked out the window to see the fight between Angelica’s Houndour and a fletching. The man watched for a bit before walking outside to watch the fight. Her father was in tow. The man was amused by Angelica’s attempts to catch the Fletchling. Angelica sent a pokeball at the Fletchling and miss. She tried again but the fletchling broke free. Houndour tackled the bird and the third pokeball was thrown. The fletchling was still able to break free. The Businessman laughed and threw an Ultraball at the fletchling. It caught the tiny bird.
Angelica was disheartened that she was unable to capture the bird pokemon. She pickup the ultraball and presented it to the businessman. The businessman insisted Angelica keep it. Angelica insisted that it was the man’s pokeball caught it so it was his pokemon. The man laughed and turned to Angelica’s father, “You have raised an honorable and humble daughter. I give her the pokemon in good faith, not let us go sign this deal, yes?” As the business man and her father walked away, Angelica slowly realized she had caught her first pokemon. Joy overcame her.

Nickname: Hades (Houndoom/ Mega Houndoom)
Role: On the range while herding Angelica’s family pokemon, Hades serves as an excellent shepherd dog. He prevents any from wandering too far away from the Herd. Hades is the an Anchor and a sweeper for Angelica’s team. Hades is an anchor because he can be sent out to reverse the course of a battle. He not only swings the momentum of a fight back to a level, but will often push the scales over to a victory. Hades and Angelica have a deep bond. Not wanting to disappoint Angelica, he will gladly suffer a mega evolution. Angelica is reluctant to put him through a mega evolution. However, Angelica won’t deny Hades desire for victory. Despite being a dark and fire type pokemon, Hades serves as one of Angelica’s solutions to the party’s weakness to water. Hades knows how to use Solar Beam and will use this during Sunny Day.
Favored moves: Flamethrower Dark Pulse Solar beam Pursuit
Personality: Hades is an exceedingly loyal pokemon. He will go out of the way to protect those whom are under his care, which is to mean a friend to Angelica. Hades also loves to win. He will compete and fight those whom will be peers or rivals to Angelica and her pokemon party.
How you met: Hades was Angelica’s first pokemon. Houndoom and Houndour have been serving as shepherd dogs to the Lumenril family for generations. Both pokemon and human generations. When Angelica was 8 years old, the main houndoom of the family had a litter of pups. (I know pokemon come from eggs. This is an expression of laying multiple eggs around the same time) Angelica was given a infant Houndour to raise.
---
Nickname: Athena (Rapidash)
Role: Athena is Angelica’s prized steed. Out on the range, herding her family cattle, Athena is the only steed Angelica will use. Angelica has ridden Rapidash for a long time and knows how to brace herself for when Athena leaps to full speed. In battle, Athena uses speed to avoid attacks while using its physical momentum from its speed to beat its opponent into submission. With Athena’s exceptional speed, she is used as a secondary set up pokemon for Sunny Day.
Favored moves: Sunny Day Flame Charge Wild Charge Drill Run
Personality: Athena is a very thoughtful pokemon and will often get lost gazing out at the horizon or at clouds. Gentle nudges are often needed to get Athena back on track.
How you met: Angelica’s family keep many pokemon herds on their ranch. One of the types of pokemon were Ponytas and Rapidashes. They were both ridden to help around the ranch or they were sold off to Poke’ Racers and trainers alike. Usually the family sells off a ponyta as soon as it evolves into a Rapidash unless it is a personal pokemon to a family member or it is needed for breeding. Athena was officially given to Angelica shortly after she received Hades. Angelica needed a mount to cover the large distances of the range to herd pokemon.
---
Nickname: Vulcan (Camerupt)
Role: Vulcan is a bulky, slow, and tanky pokemon among Angelica’s team. He is likely to take up a defensive position then either spews fire or smashes the ground until the hostile pokemon goes away. Being a ground type, Vulcan naturally serves as a solution to any fire types who try to piggyback off of Angelica’s Sunny day plan.
Favored moves: Earthquake Flamethrower Lava Plume Solar beam
Personality: Vulcan is a fairly quiet pokemon. He is very slow to anger and slow to make any hard choices. He usually accepts whatever comes his way and deals with it in a very humble and stoic manner. His magma hot breaths are long and slow even in moments of intense fighting. His actions often show apathy and annoyance at how others can take mundane things so seriously. He really does not understand why people and pokemon must rush here and there because whenever he gets there, whatever he was looking for is either there or not there.
On the other hoof, Vulcan is a true volcano. When he gets mad, run. Seriously, children please just run away please. Vulcan has a fury that puts and army of tauros stampeding to shame. He truly lives up to the name of the ‘eruption’ pokemon. When Vulcan has a tantrum, he will spew magma and smash the ground to make the earth. Vulcan usually gets this way suddenly and usually in response to his friends getting directly hurt.
How you met: When she was about 14, Angelica was climbing Mt. Chimney while riding on her Rapidash, Athena. Mercury was flying high overhead just below the layer of ash and cloud mix together. Angelica was looking for a stray Tauros that had broken through a fence and ran off towards the volcano. It was as Athena and Angelica were climbing up a rocky slope that the volcano sent out a shiver. The small quake made Athena stumble and being her hoof down hard on a rock. However, it was not a rock, but a geodude. The poor Geodude in pain and surprise immediately self-destructed sending Athena and Angelica tumbling through the air and down the rocky slope. With quick thinking, Angelica withdrew Athena into her pokeball, but could not stop her own fall.
Angelica came to a rough landing on the rocks. She had the wind knocked out of her and her left arm was broken. Wheezing in pain, she laid there among the rocks on the side of the volcano. Angelica could see Mercury flying overhead looking for her, but she was in too much pain to call out to her pokemon. Angelica sat with her back against a rock for some time. Eventually the pain numbed and she began to rummage through her bag for supplies. As she did so, Angelica was hit in her side.
Angelica was startled, but so was her attacker. A numel had ran head first into Angelica and had not even known she was there until she screamed. The numel looked at Angelica with very drowsy eyes and tried to walk forward again. He ran into Angelica a second time. She with all the might she could despite the pain, pushed the numel away. Numel seemed extremely confused at this. Angelica reached into her bag and pulled out some poketreats. She through them beside the Numel. Numel seemed to ignore the treat and began to walk forward once more into Angelica. Again, Angelica pushed the wild Numel away. This time Mercury circling high above took noticed and with a loud cry descended rapidly on the Numel. Coming to a fast landing between Numel and Angelica, Mercury opened its wings to force the wild Numel back. In confusion, the Numel stumbled backwards and its drowsy eyes seemed for a moment to grow angry at the angry bird before him. However, the anger soon vanished as it saw the poke’ treat on the ground. It took a bite at the treats taking in a huge chunk of dirt and rock with the treat. Angelica reached out to touch her talonflame to prevent the bird from attacking. Weakly, she grabbed a pokeball and rolled it towards the Numel. The pokeball made contact with the Numel and the numel did not notice as it was drawn inside the pokeball. It caught the Numel without much resistance.
---
Nickname: Zeus (Tauros)
Role: Zeus serves as a fast physical sweeper for Angelica’s party. Being one of the few non-fire types among the party, the weakness to water is actually not applicable. In fact, Zeus is one of the parties answers to the infamous water types. Its Wild Charge move has been quite a surprise to a rampaging water pokemon. Zeus also has some surprises against fighting pokemon.
Favored moves: Zen Hedbutt Rock Smash Wild Charge Earthquake
Personality: Zeus is a relatively naive pokemon. It does take much to get this pokemon to lower its head and charge at whatever enemy it can see for whatever injustice it is told happened. Zeus will follow Angelica’s orders without hesitation. Clearly, Angelica would not have him attack someone who was undeserving of his just wrath.
How you met: Angelica had known Zeus for a long time before finally claiming him out of her family’s herd. Zeus had often wandered away from the herd. He was always willing to take on a threat to the Herd alone. Angelica and her rapidash Athena were always rounding up Zeus and sending him back into the herd. It was when Zeus rammed his way through a fence on the border if the family land when Angelica really had to go after him. Once off of the property, Zeus made his way up the slope of Mt Chimney.
When Angelica noticed that one of the herd was missing and then the hole in the fence, Zeus had a large head start. Angelica left the herd in the hands of her brother and rode out on Athena to go find him. She had Mercury flying up ahead to see if he could see the roaming Tauros.
