Nah, the only all hit would be the buckshot. Obviously reduced damage compared to an explosive round or a slug, but it would hit all targets in a cone (only first ones though. they wouldn't be able to hit 2 targets in a line, one behind another. It would stop on the 1st one.)
The explosive round would hit the first target and adjacent ones. No more than 2 adjacent targets (less damage than direct round though). The explosive one would be either to cause heavy damage or no damage focusing on CC
Slug is just a really freaking big round to kill one target really dead
All in all, it's up to you guys. You decide :-) I have good ideas for both types of characters.
One question though: How graphic am I allowed to be while describing combat(an axe-shotgun... It cant possibly get messier than that )? I'm not thinking of anything unreasonable though. Just describing where I'm aiming for & etc. Nothing like "guts fly everywhere bla bla bla" lol
Still in doubt regarding extreme range or frontline. I have great ideas for both of them XD
@EnterTheHero Look fine to me, since it's more or less been discussed elsewhere and not too different from previous RP. He should be fine to be added to the list.
I am definitely interested! One question, though its just out of curiosity, are there multiple races with different characteristics and such? or is it more like just being from different nations?
also, after reading through the material, would a red mage sniper be feasible? someone that uses magic with their rifle, ex. that beautiful blend of different magics, imbue cartridges with magic, some melee ability.
Does anyone knows if we're able to have 2 characters? I simply can't decide between both of my ideas.
(I'm doing both CSs anyways even if we aren't allowed to do so, to send them to the GM and ask him which one he liked the most. Can show you guys too if you want XD)
It takes awhile to die, and you have basically 3 strikes before you really do die, but the first two will give you a permanent debilitation based on your wounding. Although stick it out and you'll get a chance to "fix" it. For example you lose an arm? Maybe in a chapter or two you get a chance to get a bionic limb which you can upgrade or put to use for combat.
But generally though it's one new character per chapter per player, so only one for now. I may make a max per player depending on how many players we end up with, but we don't have too many so it should be fine.
I also urge that if you do make multiple characters, try and have them group up with others, otherwise you just multiply my workload. I have limits.
Okay, I THINK I have the LB right. Hopefully. Maybe.
Name:
Lady Aria Cadewyn of House Eldoris
Age: 22 Gender: Female Nationality: Escain
Heritage: Escainian
Personality:
As a well-known songstress, Aria is a bubbly, charismatic young woman. She's very open and welcoming, able to communicate with nearly anyone while keeping a bright smile on her face. She's curious about others, always wanting to delve into her thoughts, though she is quick to put up her own walls when inquired about. Despite her sunny appearance, she tends to get lost in thought a lot, and is on the forgetful side of things. She seeks to avoid fighting and arguments, though understands they're inevitable. Often, she prefers to keep her insecurities and fears to herself, though once in a while she'll let her true feelings slip.
Public Biography:
The House of Eldoris is one of knowledge, as their patriarch Lorenzo Eldoris pioneered Dogma research, and it is rumored that the Eldoris line were once royalty. These days the latter is forgotten, but the family of prominent scholars and researchers ensured that the name Eldoris would be recognized world wide and revered in Escain. The family has amassed great wealth due to their contributions and has grown wide, though the family secrets are kept tight under lock and key. Born the third child of Vivace and Lirit into the branch family Cadewyn, Aria grew up in wealth and lavished in knowledge. When her proficiency for magic was discovered, the family was able to hire a mentor from Raelin and she was able to study privately. Her parents would also make sure to groom Aria into a woman of faith from a young age, cementing her belief in the gods and had her tutor include lessons about the gods in her education. Perhaps it was because of that faith that Aria would blossom into a talented summoner, her white magics on par with those years ahead of her. The pressure was insufferable, though she found her escape in music, often escaping her home to go perform on the street. Her voice attracted many, and with her summoning talents revealed to the public as well, Aria's celebrity status was all but cemented. She earned her freedom at last, traveling around the world to put on performances wherever and whenever she was asked. At first, she relished the freedom, though she would realize soon that she traded one prison for another. She couldn't so much as walk down the street without being recognized, and there was more than a few occasions where she was hassled. Still, she chose to embrace her glided cage as well as her many fans--she truly loved to perform and reach out to people.
She has two elder sisters, Cadenza and Sonata. She has little contact with her family, though they write to one another on occasion.
The House of Eldoris has long been experimenting on any child with any sort of magical ability, wishing to raise an army of artificial summoners, their goal of bringing forth Alexander being their endgame. As the bloodline has produced many prolific mages, they were deemed the perfect candidates. Their experiments have resulted in many deaths, though they believe their success outweighs the downfalls. While it was mostly those of the main house--those who were believed to be the 'purest'--with whom the experiments were performed on, it was discovered that the branch families also held just as much potential. After the success of Vivace summoning at a tender age, they wed her to Lirit, another summoner, in hopes their children would all inherit their power.
Sure enough, the three first-born showed promise. However, Harmonia showed signs of instability and an ineptitude at actually controlling her powers. Despite their attempts to seize control, a summon resulted in the deaths of many, and the destruction of one of the facilities. Cadenza and Sonata, the two eldest, had their memories sealed away and were monitored closely, although it would result in all the sisters losing the memory of Harmonia. When Aria was shown to have an aptitude for magic, they used a more subtle approach, using the excuses of gifted jewelry in a way to both monitor her and quietly give her the ability to summon. It was much more successful, though they showed concern when Aria began to gain popularity as a songstress. Rather than make any unneeded risks of exposure, they chose instead to gift her a pair of bangles, hoping they would amplify her powers.
After all, Alexander will only answer the call of their best...

Limit Break - {Divine Summon} [L1] A call to the gods and brings forth a deity into the battle to command, able to flaunt their strength. Their power relies on Aria herself and their time on the field is determined by her magic. The strikes are lesser versions of the deities' ultimate attacks, their strength coming from Aria. A majority of her summons come from her home country, although she picked up Carbuncle after visiting Songdae for a concert. Despite Ravana's status as an exiled, his noble intentions to protect the country struck a chord with Aria. Although, she admits she doesn't quite remember when she first reached out for his power. Despite her allegiance with Escain, she wishes to eventually learn from other countries.

Can only be used once per battle. {Once More} - Lives through an attack that should have resulted in death (KO) with 1 HP remaining. Can only be used once per battle.
For Lakshmi to resurrect, you'd need to pump in 5 limit points. 10 if you want to revive them with full health. Furthermore any that have status effects will only inflict them if 5 Limit points are pumped into them.
Also I suggest since your summons are now Limit moves, you should add another effect to your class trait Divine Summoner. Something like... When using specifically Divine Summon, you can use summons without cost if below half of your Soul stat... Or, summons cost half Limit Points, or.... Yeah you get the deal, just a way for you to be able to use your summons more.

Shoot, knew I forgot something. Sounds good, though, I'll add that in.

I hadn't noticed that you didn't get a reply: But as of this moment the population is built around being pretty much hume in all nations, with races seeming to take a bit of a backseat in general. He intends to edit the lore eventually to fit other (playable) races into it I believe, but when that'll be is undetermined. Probably not before the RP starts.
It is definitely feasible, though Sho has final word on balancing and such. I'm sure if you write the character up with these aspects in mind, if anything it can be balanced out to be usable. But considering our roster, you'll probably turn out alright.
@Hero Alright looks okay, but just a few things regarding summons. It'll always cost minimum 1 to summon, cannot cost half points. Next is that it's rounded up, so to apply status effects with summons you need to use 3.
@Jollan Red Mage/ Sniper cross class is possible. There are magical weapons in this RP including magical firearms. Unfortunately there aren't other races, other than different variants of humans.
@13org Correct. Basically year 1900 weapons as far as capabilities go. They can look different as long as they seem like they'd fit. I'd say no to silencers though.
If requiring recent example, if it's in Red Dead 2, you can use it.
