Personality: Sinbad wouldn't consider himself a heroic figure in truth. He's generous and charitable and pious to a degree, but he's not usually the sort who goes out into the world looking for wrongs to make right. He much prefers throwing lavish parties and occasionally getting to know people on the street while still living in the lap of luxury most of the time. That said Sinbad is cursed with an occasional irresistible longing for adventure and exploration of the unknown that drives him to go out questing after treasures and new experiences even if it risks his life.

Golden Rule: A-Even after wasting away his inheritance with lavish parties, Sinbad was able to make more money than any man could spend in a lifetime in a single voyage. So great is his affinity for riches that legendary treasures beyond the grasp of mortal men routinely fall into his lap, and even the worst financial disaster will fail to deplete his endless wealth.

Alchoholic Fruit: B- At this level drinking of liquor created or enhanced by the user is required, though the alcohol is good enough that sight or scent of it alone inflicts a sort of compulsion to partake of it. The liquor created by Sinbad out of discarded fruits was potent and delicious enough render to even a malicious ocean spirit blissfully drunk.

Charisma: C- Though his humble birth prevented him from ever ruling over a kingdom, Sinbad's vast natural charm resulted in him becoming a 'Perfect Merchant', easily convincing others to follow his lead on expeditions or provide him with aid or treasures through force of personality alone while maintaining pleasant relationships even as he takes advantage of others.

Name: The Earth-Shaking Sovereign!-Elephant King!

Appearance: A massive black elephant with tusks tipped in golden spears and a highly decorated howdah on its back.

Effects: Sinbad summons the King of the Elephants of Sri-Lanka, a supernaturally powerful Phantasmal Beast version of an elephant, to serve as his mount. The fantastical pachyderm is surprisingly swift and unsurprisingly strong, capable of easily trampling Sinbad's enemies under its feet, uprooting whole trees to use as clubs or impaling foes on its lance-like tusks.

Type: Anti-Army (Partial Form) Anti-Fortress (Full Form)

Appearance: When summoned in its full form, it resembles a lush tropical paradise island resting out on the water, a very small landmass but an island nonetheless. It is inhabited by friendly and physically beautiful natives, with a geyser in the middle sweet smoke occasionally drifting through the air. If one is able to peer deep enough under the water, it becomes plain that the entire island and its small ecosystem are resting on the back of a truly gigantic whale! In partial form it allows the fin, tail or geyser-blowhole of a giant whale to briefly manifest, or else summons sweet hallucinogenic mist, foods and drinks or beautiful servant islanders.

Effects: A synthesis of the most notable of the many dangerous islands that Sinbad encountered and perhaps a crystallization of his nature as an 'Explorer', if activated fully the Mysterious Island summons a truly enormous whale with a small tropical island upon its back. The native inhabitants treat Sinbad as their honored king and serve him while trying to entrap any visitors, and the sweet haze causes a mind affecting effect that makes it difficult to think clearly. The whale itself is a powerful Divine Beast when coaxed into action, but using it directly at more than a mild speed destroys the island itself.

The expenditure of mana required to summon the entire Noble Phantasm makes it impossible to use under normal circumstances and thus Sinbad instead calls up specific portions or effects of it. Sinbad can call up the Lotus Eater Haze of the Island to disorient and deceive his foes, and briefly manifest the blowhole, tail or fin of the Leviathan for a geyser of water or crushing slap. He can also call up phantasmal natives to serve his whims as well as a seemingly endless supply of tropical fruit products and beach-based meat delicacies, but these serve little functional purpose.

Name: The Rukh!

Appearance: A truly enormous bird of prey large enough to devour creatures that routinely prey on elephants and tear the tops from mountains to hurl them at its enemies. A single set of talons can easily hold a full-grown elephant or two, and at ground level the flapping of its wings can create hurricane-like winds or small tornadoes if it doesn't take care.

Effects: Sinbad's ultimate mount, and likely the most famous out of all the creatures encountered in his Adventures. Its destructive potential makes Sinbad reluctant to summon it. The Rukh is truly a Divine Beast representing the full glory and power of the skies. The Rukh is capable of destroying buildings in an instant, annihilating an entire sailing fleet in roughly a minute with little effort and knocking about whole armies with just the buffeting of its wings, though truthfully Sinbad holds it back out of fear of what it would do with its full power unleashed on the world.

Name: Hye Kyou

Appearance: Hye

Personality: Hye normally is a calm and pretty chill guy, often preferring to keep his own thoughts to himself and avoiding any type of 'unnecessary trouble' he possibly can, going as far as to give him the reputation of being lazy. Despite this fact, on stressful, dangerous situations or when given a 'task' by the family head, he will focus solely on the task at hand and it's completion. Due to being a very logical person often favoring efficiency over a specific mean to attain his 'objective' some of his actions may be considered cold.

Despite his penetrating and intimidating stare, Hye is actually a rather pleasant person to hang out with if you manage to get closer to him. Staying true to his reputation, Hye can be found often reading books, playing games, listening to music or simply relaxing when he is not training. Despite his lean and muscular body, he does have a surprising appetite and enjoys eating good food.

Abilities: Hye was born with an extremely average amount of magic circuits but with an unusually high quality. Normally that would be enough to give him a very good potential as a mage but unfortunately, he was born with defective magic circuits. Unable to use most types of magic. Due to this, Hye is incapable of using any other spells other than the very specific techniques he specialized himself with.

  • Pressure Points: Normally one would use this for oriental medicine, they can be used with great effect to incapacitate opponents. Differently from the silly movies and myths, there is no such thing as a 'death touch' as all of those techniques are mostly useful to incapacitate a target. It's use in actual fighting is actually something much less 'flashy' than what common martial art myths show them. Overall, these techniques focus on striking certain points of the human body such as certain spots on the heat (the temple for example), the throat, the nose & etc.
    Hye can also use these techniques coupled with his knowledge in order to temporarily disable another mage's magic circuits by striking specific nerves on a mage's body with a series of quick and precise blows. Although really good to incapacitate a mage, Hye actually needs to get close to said mage and perform a series of consecutive strikes.

  • Self Reinforcement: Despite it's name, this spell was created with both Reinforcement, Thought Acceleration and Memory Partition in a very basic level. By using this he is able to 'reinforce' his own body in order to become noticeably faster, slightly stronger, improve his senses and his reaction speed. Although it noticeably raises his stamina, it doesn't make him more durable, resistant to pain or damage. Due to this and the fact that it puts a heavy strain on his muscles and mind when using it for a long time, he needs to use this technique carefully.
  • Mental Interference: Hye is able to use a very limited and very basic form of a mental interference spell to disorientate one target on his line of sight for a brief moment. While it's completely harmless, it's able to make the target hear small sounds that he actually didn't hear, think he saw something that he actually didn't or make he believe he saw nothing when he actually did. All of those effects fade incredibly quickly though. One example of how Hye uses it is by making the target believe he disappeared for a brief second, making a 'flicker' type visual illusion for half a second to a second at max in order to allow him to get closer to his opponent or make his opponent lose sight of him for a second.

History:
Born out of an affair between a member of the Kyou family and a non mage from outside of the family, Hye never received the same attention or even the same care that a member of the main family would receive. Known for being incredibly strict, the Kyou family has a history of being incredibly cold even with their own members in order to create powerful mages. Hye, despite his non mage mother, was still the son of a powerful mage from the head family. Due to that, he had high expectations put on him.

Unfortunately, despite exhaustive training, he was deemed a failure in magic when he showed absolutely no aptitude for it. The only thing that saved him from being immediately kicked out of the main family and hidden from the world in order to not stain the family's honor was the fact that he had unusually high quality magic circuits, despite being defective. That being, he still had uses to the Kyou family in order to hunt mages that could put the family in danger and generally just do the 'dirty' work the main family wouldn't do and as such, he immediately began training combat techniques that would be effective in taking down other mages.

Being unable to turn away their eyes from Fusang who was in the spotlight of both the world of the mages and non mages, the Kyou family finally started extending their reach towards said city. Due to Hye's high quality magic circuits, the Kyou family sent him to Fusang to have a political marriage to a female mage of a less powerful family in order to have an opportunity to put their feet on Fusang without alerting other rival families. Tired of being treated merely as a pawn to the main family, he immediately contacted one of the other families he was suppose to keep an eye on and sent them a proposal to sell some information he knew about the Kyou family. After receiving a rather decent sum of money, enough for him to start a new life, he simply disappeared, cutting off all communication with the main family.

To the Kyou family, Hye's disappearance was a thorn in their sides for many reasons other than the amount of money they had to pay the family Hye sold their information to keep their mouths shut. If they started to actively search for him, the other families would be aware of what happened and would try to contact him in order to use him against them. Other than that, there was also the fact that it would stain their image and their pride even more if such thing became public. As such, the best option was to simply turn a blind eye and erase every record that the main family had about Hye. In other words, completely erase any proof of his existence from their family records.

Other:
Hye is able to live comfortably using the money he received by selling information from the Kyou family in a small, but comfortable apartment he bought for himself and pay for his studies. Despite that, he still does a few odd jobs when he needs money, including tutoring other mages due to his knowledge.
Hye speaks Japanese and Korean fluently. His english, although very good still has a deep accent.
