Liliana

Disorientating. That word just about summed up this situation in it's entirety. Liliana had not known what to expect. But even that was a bit much. If she was just feeling sick then that probably would have been fine. But the entire thing, whatever it was felt wrong.

I-I hope we don't have to do that much... She thought, but part of her already knew that it was probably going to be something she was face with many times more in the future as long as she was with Chaldea.

Liliana looked around her, she had never seen a place like this before. She recognised that she was in the foundations of some sort of ruined building. But if it was a House of a structure of some other nature was completely lost upon her. It was hard to tell if this building was destroyed by something or if it just degenerated with age. Well by the looks of it if something had destroyed it, it likely moved on from this place a long time ago.

Liliana was aware of the three other figures with her. She bit her lip as she thought of what to say and as she looked in the distance she spotted a man with a look of great surprise on his face. Liliana had never met this man before but something felt refreshing about him. Something homely mayhaps. She felt a bit of connection to him although it was too minor for her to place.

"..." She opened her mouth to speak to him but before the words could escape from her throat he had set off. We must have scared him... Sorry.

Liliana froze up a little as Caster began to speak. They seemed to be a really overbearing sort. It reminded her a bit of her mother...

Chancellor... That must be me? She wasn't sure what that word meant exactly. Mayhaps Caster thought it was her name?

Securing the leyline... Liliana felt like she understood a little bit of what that meant. Something like connecting themselves to something in the Earth... Or something like that...

She nodded along with Caster "Y-yes I think that would be the best course of action." As she spoke she seemed to shrink smaller and smaller. The presence of those who stood around her seemed so much greater than her own.

Lilianas attention was captured by the knight with the awe inspiring sword. She seemed to be of the very reliable sorts.

"U-umm Sir?" She started off with trying to get the knights attention although it came off more as a question somehow... Sir was what you called knights right?

"C-could you perhaps accompany me in following that man. I-I know it might be silly but I feel like he is a friend." Liliana was a little unsure of herself.

"I-if that is alright with you as well Miss? I don't think it should take long but if you would like us to stay with you I understand." She said again like she was asking another question.

Rosalyn Bell

Rosalyn's head was spinning like a top. What the hell was going on? Oooh, how she wished she had any recollection of what was going on. It was weird, last thing she really remembered was following the Director of Chaldea... then she ended up here of all places. It was a city... By a river. It was like a scene out of some movie or something too. Then she realized she wasn't alone. Three... People of odd dress. Everyone was talking while she tried getting her bearings and especially annoyingly so was the Director in her ear. So frantic, she just needed to calm her ass down.

The she acknowledged Mori and the skeleton battle in the corner of her eye. She puffed on her cigarette and exhaled the smoke away from the people around her. Rather calmly, she spoke to the Chaldean staff. "My head's spinning, I've barely talked to anyone, I feel like I've missed hours of my life and here everyone is calling me Rosa already. Really, don't know if I should be angry or not." Perhaps her way of trying to diffuse the Director's franticness or a way to sneak in information about her current state without trying to complain too much.

"That said, the... Woman is right." When she looked to the man with the spear, she had a feeling. A tug at her heart perhaps? Or something of the sort. She felt like she knew him. It was then she noticed the command seals on her hand. "Ahh,so that must of happened. Perhaps I should say the sole female servant among us here. There's an Archer, Caster and a Lancer with me here... Stuff you probably already know I suppose." She continued.

"The Lancer is my servant, correct?" She asked both him and Chaldea, taking a look over to verify that the skeleton brawl was still under control. It was so her attention was redirected. "Nagayoshi Mori, I believe." Rosalyn added, looking to the Lancer class servant with a bit of smirk. "I like your attitude. Think we'll get along just fine... Still, lend me your shoulder for a second." She mentioned, supporting herself with his shoulder. Perhaps it was all the smoking, but her head never really stopped spinning.

"Well then... Director and... Chief Medical Officer I presume?" That who she thought the voice was, though she has only heard her a couple of times. She was pretty easy on the eyes to put it mildly. "Any ideas for us or should we just set out one way and find the other Masters? Are there servants with the other Masters? Can't let these kids get hurt while I'm around."

She wasn't fully sure yet what was going on, just that the Masters were separated at the moment. If the could meet up that would be best, safety in numbers and all. The one she was most worried about was that kid, Liliana was it? Of course Marietta and William were a course for concern too but they looked like they could take care of themselves. Hopefully. It just didn't sit right with her to leave a child by herself.

The Mysterious Stranger

It seemed the chase had begun. The stranger's cloak trailed behind him, whipping about in the air as he darted from the group. Gawain's following soon after seemed to do little to close the gap between them. Instead, as he slipped behind a corner, there was the tell-tale white of his cape, so that Rider may follow. But as soon as Gawain turned, he had already gotten further ahead, leaving Gawain with only another wisp of white and gold trim to chase. Perhaps the man was a Rider on his own steed? Or perhaps he was just naturally quick. Whatever the case, the streets continued. And continued.

For a moment longer, Gawain would see the man's back, and then he'd sharply turn a corner. Rider might indeed be so caught up in the race that the buildings might be easily ignored. But...

Perhaps it was how close together the buildings had gotten. No longer spaced out, but rather side by side. With the odd crack between homes seeming more intentional than a simple perk of trying to give people room. The road, still pristine, had cracks. All roads had cracks, but for this the cracks seemed to... Repeat. A squiggle that ends in a forked branch, appearing again and again along the road. The cars, parked had become repetitious. Blue. Green. Red. Blue. Green. Red. Blue-Green-Red. As if the whole city was on repeat!

The warning came from behind. A crack of stone, as suddenly the stranger was behind Gawain. In the maze of buildings, he had managed to somehow sneak around, coming out of one of the side paths that Gawain had been running by in his race. The stranger carried only one sword, a golden blade that swiped through the air. The ground cracking as he leapt, easily clearing the Rider's mount and swinging that beautiful blade towards Gawain's head. The leap... Wasn't natural, as if charged by mana.

"I apologize. But I cannot allow you or your allies to disrupt the Leyline. If Caster falls, the world falls with it."

"Sir". That was an honorific from Medieval times. She found it funny considering she was a lady.

Saber turned to Liliana with a strict gaze before looking back at the path Gawain took pursuing the man on a bright steed. She looked back at Caster who didn't seem physically capable at the moment, of course she doesn't recognize her since almost all Egyptian royalty looks adorned with black and yellow accents.

Nonetheless, she asked for the Master's opinion even though it is not her she formed a contract with. "If Caster can protect herself then we can pursue." She turned to the egyptian loli in question, raising a brow if she can handle herself against potential enemies already scouting their location. "Then again she sees you as her Master so whatever your decision, I will follow for the time being. I'm only here to advise after all."

She took a few steps in Gawain's direction, looking back at Liliana for confirmation on whether or not they'll try and find the young knight in this hellish scenario.

Hatshepsut

"Neither of you will be going."

Despite coming out of such a small girl, the power of the Pharaoh could be felt within each of her words.

"I said someone needed to stay back for protection, yes? My Chancellor here isn't fit for combat on the chance someone comes by to attack her. Securing the leyline shouldn't take me very long, it isn't like I'm a Caster from this era. Still, I should probably set up some defenses to aid us. There is a chance an Assassin is lurking around. "

A wave of her hand and a few words spoken at a speed beyond comprehension were all she was going to need to defend them. Feats of magic unheard of in the modern era could be done in a speed no slower than a quick snap. Powerful barriers, similar the ones found in Greece, would surround the trio of girls, giving them some protection in case the Servant who had left brought some friends. It did feel improper not being able to support the servant she had been brought along with, but Caster had to look at the big picture.

If either her or her Chancellor were to get seriously hurt here, there would be no chance of escaping. The two of them being secured and ready was the only way for them to escape from this predicament.

"Once I've finished my business here, we can go and support him. For now, however, the two of you need to stay here with me. This your job for now. Our ally should be able to stall for a small bit of time, as I should be done very quickly. "

This wasn't a boast, but it was common sense. Securing a leyline was something that would only be a greater ritual for a modern magus, so for someone like Cater, it was something that could be done very quickly.

"Chancellor, you seemed to have gotten a look at that servant, am I correct? What details did your Clairvoyance give? What are his parameters? "

With everyone reminded of their positions and her defenses set, Caster began to secure the leyline once more.

A Bounded Field? A Reality Marble? A Noble Phantasm? Gawain knew not the specifics of the trickery that had befallen him, but at least it gave him reason to not be too disheartened about failing to gain any ground on someone who was on foot. As the world around him looped faster and faster, the space he traversed shortening evermore, the pale knight drew a sharp breath. He wasn't trapped in here. He wasn't trapped in here. He wasn't trapped in here!

CRACK.

And he wasn't alone.

What panic managed to claw into his heart was quelled by the presence of the blade that swept for his neck. With a snap of his reins, Gawain bid Gringolet to slide down, the powerful charger's side grazing against the pavement as the sash-wearing swordsman flew overhead. His ambush worth only a few strands of Gawain's hair, and it was his words that lingered longer. After danger had passed by, Gringolet found his feet again, and Gawain found his sword, the polished steel bright in the light of the streetlamps. For a moment, the adrenaline urged him to rush the man down, to engage in a proper duel after that miserable 'chase' and that insulting ambush. But though Gawain could not recall all that much, there was one thing that he was certain of.

The Director of Chaldea, the Order he now served, was female. That was like, double the reason not to immediately take this Saber's head. Time to talk like people, rather than...non-people. Thank God the man wasn't a Berserker, really.

"If you're gonna apologize, do so before you try beheading me, bud," Gawain spoke, irritated but not all too put off. "Honestly though, maybe if you explained the circumstances, I can head back and inform the ladies of the situation? I'd rather the world not be destroyed either, so, hey. Speak up. What on Earth's going on here? Name too, yeah?"

Unless he was totally reading this wrong, and Fastleg Ambusher was actually totally down for destroying the world. Gawain's grip on his sword tightened slightly.

"I'm Gawain, by the by. Not yet that Gawain, if you catch my drift, but pretty close, I'd say."

The Mysterious Stranger

The man's blade took several hairs, but he hardly seemed to care. Instead landing on the ground, and skidding along the pavement. The stone an easy enough place for his sword to strike, bringing his momentum to a halt. Skidding only another foot, before stopping dead in his tracks. Perhaps it was a trick of the light, but... Was he smiling? So odd, or perhaps he got off on fighting. Or...

"Sorry... I apologize too often, even for things that don't require it." He pulled his sword from the dirt, with golden eyes focusing on the Rider and his mount. "But, if you truly are Gawain, a knight to be of King Arthur's court." He spun the sword in his hand, raising it again as he entered a stance meant for battle. "Then forgive me for this. It has been a while since I have met a formidable match. Killing you or not, I shall explain all, once I am satisfied that you are truly who you claim to be." That golden blade was not meant for this kind of action. It was not a weapon to take life. It was one meant to preserve it. So... He was confident that a knight would not fall to such a weapon.

"My name is Diarmuid ua Duibhne, of the Saber class and knight of Fionn. Caster and I fight to preserve the world, and to keep Fuyuki separate from the world. Least it be overrun." With no other words to share, he struck again. Charging head on, and leaping once more. The ground cracked as he surged with mana, kicking off with such a leap that should have been impossible otherwise. Sailing into the air, and diving down at Gawain and his steed. His blade cratering the ground if they were smart enough to move aside in time, or very well cratering the ground beneath them should Gawain defend.

And yet, the longer this fight might go on, the more a pressure began to build. Upon Gawain's back and shoulders, as if the very buildings might collapse upon him. A pressure, a strain... Was this damage? But there were no wounds. Were there eyes? Was there a threat!?

Out of the corner of an eye, there upon a building sat a man. His outfit strange, as long flowing robes seemed to hide his form. He was young, yet his eyes betrayed age. But in his hand, was a fan made of feathers... Was he perhaps waiting to be noticed, or was he simply curious as to how Gawain might act. Until...
"Gawain, knight of the Sun. Do not dodge his strikes, but attack. Attack and attack, that is the advice I give you."

Knight of Fionn? Diarmuid was selling himself short if he was unwilling to place 'greatest' within his title. The words that he shared, of Fuyuki and separation, meant little to Gawain, but the intention was enough. The time for words was over. Now, it was time to learn of each other through crossing blades. Power surged in his own body, his heart pounding like a wardrum before this mighty foe. Beneath, Gringolet snorted, hot breath gushing out as his muscles rippled underneath the armor.

There was no trick of light; Gawain was smiling with all he had, fierce and proud before the man who called him 'formidable.' Their pedigree was different, their statures night and day, one in the prime of their life, another in the apex of their ambition. But Fate had allowed them to cross paths, and there was no gift greater than that. He may have been still a child, his aspirations having yet to meet his legend, but he certainly didn't need an observer to tell him that.

"You don't need to tell me that!"

As Diarmuid charged, so did Gawain, a flick of his reins propelling Gringolet forwards. A mass of muscle surged up as the charger leapt, and with a clap of thunder, a flash of lightning, their blades rang. Sparks scattered like a meteor shower, and the Knight of the Surcoat felt the impact resound through his entire body. Powerful and swift, all contained within a human body. It sent shivers in his spine and made his heart roar with further anticipation. Driven back down, fractures burst as Gringolet's hooves collided against the pavement, the charger neighing in indignation. But it was only the first clash. It was only their first exchange. The pressure that pushed down upon the duo could not be ignored, but the pressure to overcome this wall was a far greater agitator.

With a warcry (that may have been a little more high-pitched than he'd have liked), the mounted Gawain charged down upon the landed Diarmuid, sword striking down in a vertical arc to prevent aerial escape.

The Director audibly calmed down after Kiara made her observations known, a clacking of keyboard keys coming in through the connection as Yuna worked away at the controls. "The ritual shouldn't have done this, we did so many stress tests to ensure nothing like this would ever happen in a minor singularity like this... Unless..." She trailed off in silence as the Servants handled the minor skeletons. "It's not even worth mentioning. It's a complete impossibility, we would have detected it if it was the case. The only way a malfunction of this caliber could occur is if... Well, if the Singularity was so severe that it could result in the complete shift of human history." There was no brevity in her tone, none of the playfulness that she had displayed beforehand. Her features were completely serious, that was the absolute worst case scenario.

"But that's impossible! Anyways, let's focus on what we know to be true. You're memories are gone, last thing you remember is from a few hours ago? That might just be a case of short term memory loss, it was something we expected might happen to people new to Rayshifting. This wouldn't be nearly so serious if it weren't for the fact that you all got separated honestly, it might have even been a little funny!" And just like that, all was normal. "So uhhh, I'm technically your boss I guess but like... I can't really tell you what to do there! I'm not there! So, I'm just gonna hand off field command to you! Try and look around for everyone else, I kinda want to reconnect them to Chaldea so we can figure out just what happened. They should have Servants with them judging by the readings I'm getting, so don't worry about them too much. And don't split up to try and find them faster! That's just asking for trouble, it happens in all the movies." The holographic form of Yuna pouted as she said this, before looking around. "Ah jeez, I gotta reintroduce Raph to you guys now huh. Raph! Get your butt over here and introduce yourself to everyone! I know you already introduced yourself, you gotta do it again! They had the short term memory thingie you talked about!"

As the mismatched squadron introduced themselves to each other, Bellerophon quickly ascended a building to scout out the area around them. What he would find was a dead city, the streets empty, the buildings darkened, a few collapsed buildings around. But not a single breathing soul inhabiting this ghost town.

Save for one.

A young man, either in his early twenties or late teens. He was out of breath, backed up against a wall in a dead end alley way as several men dressed in ancient armor (somewhat similar to Roman centurions, yet seeming somewhat off) slowly approached him. Only their backs were visible from this angle, but everything about their posture promised violence or worse. Having swords drawn was also a large hint as they took yet another step forward. "S-stay back! I might not have my Servant anymore, but I can d-defend myself! I'm warning you!" His stuttering and shaking betrayed his true feelings. If nobody came in to save this boy, he was surely dead.

Assassin stood by his Master's side as if bound to her by chain. His bearing did not once falter at their sudden shift, nor was he taken aback by the bloody sight that beheld his current party. Like a statue, Assassin stood stoically next to Marietta with his own spear in hand.

However, the two other presences that had manifested alongside Diomedes and his Master still drew some air of concern to the otherwise apathetic Assassin.

The bright boy who had spoken up first, Saber, held an all-too-familiar feeling to Assassin. It brought to him the smell of bloodshed far greater than the scene strewed out before them. Being around this boy, this Saber, felt as if he was once again standing before those great, impenetrable city walls. It gave Assassin a feeling of nostalgia, and perhaps even a rush of adrenaline if he were summoned in a more martial Class Container. However, there was only one thing that was in Assassin's mind when he looked at that shining city taking the shape of a mere child...

It seems that I may find a use for that after all...

The other presence, that armor-clad figure, seemed to only draw a feeling of animosity to Assassin. They bore the arms and armor of that man while at the same time producing another different yet all-too-familiar aura.

It's as if thus woman's very existence was something that Diomedes, even as an Assassin, could not help but grimace with disgust, if only slightly.

"... Understood. I will perform a perimeter sweep of the area." Assassin replied to his Master's orders before finally stepping away from her side. He did not give either Servant so much as a glare, his eyes kept forward as he strode onward. It's as if he was trying to avoid any sort of interaction with either party, at least at this time.

However, he did not depart just yet.

"We should find a place to rendezvous first in case we are unable to maintain contact. As far as scouting is concerned, I should be able to handle myself on my own."

Indeed, for an Assassin that also boasts a great martial legend like Diomedes, fighting off most threats would be trivial in most cases. At the same time, Diomedes is also aware of the limitations that his current Saint Graph would maintain, and as such he would be unable to display his true power despite maintaining his skill-at-arms.

Assassin did not depart until a more coherent plan was made between the four of them.

Liliana

Of course... They would be foolish to run out before Caster had finished their work. Liliana shook her head a little, disappointed in herself.

This is no place for me to play the girl. I must be strong and wise and... A leader is what she thought... But with Caster shouting orders at them Liliana appeared to be lacking in that the most of all.

"Sir... If you would please stay close to me." She spoke to Saber once more. "Caster has the right of it. Please protect us both until they are done with their work." Liliana went a little flushed as she spoke. One minute she was ordering for the both to run off and the next she was ordering them to stay put. It did seem a bit foolish but that could be made up for later. She hoped...

A wave of confusion washed over her face at Casters question. Eh? Parameters?

"Ummm... Sorry but I didn't really get a read of anything off of whoever that was... There was only a sense of hmm..." She thought of what it was she had felt.

"Home...? S-sorry Miss." She apologised to Caster.

"If there is anyway I could be of use to you though... I would be happy to lend you my efforts." She wasn't entirely sure what Caster was doing but if she could lend her a hand then she would feel a bit more useful.

"At any rate, dwelling over why and how you are where you are isn't going to solve anyone's problems. We can investigate the causes later," Kiara's spoke once again after the director made her observations.

"I apologize if calling you Rosa startled you. To make up for it, you may call me by name as well. A certain degree of intimacy between a mental health professional's and their patient can go a long way in making things easier for both sides, after all," she added after Rosa grieved about the way everyone was calling by a pet name already.

"Anyway, for the time being, it seems that we finally got a hold of your position. You are at the southern half of Fuyuki City Park, at the Riverside area. It's probably wise to concentrate your search efforts to the north, since you are so close to the boundary of the singularity."

Lancer

Cities being 'destroyed' like this were not necessarily abnormal within the modern era they had just arrived from. It was something of a cruel fact of the world that situations like these were inevitable. Even so, it wasn't like that took away any of their value. Saving a person, saving a city, saving the history of man- even if those things ended, they certainly had 'value'.

Lancers only response to this disturbing landscape was to bring her hand to rest on the holy sword at her hip. Perhaps if any of them could see under her helmet, she may have scoffed a little. The bodies about her were far more abnormal than the city itself. Though she was not a Magus, she 'knew' what made up their body was synonymous with death. Yes, for as long as she was a Servant, touching that filth would be the same thing as laying down to die.

It was a bit boggling- to think that a military force could casually carry with it some sort of physical 'grudge' reaching into the divine class was unthinkable for this era. It had to be the work of a Servant, or something of an equivalent or greater threat level. This was something a Servants Noble Phantasm could certainly accomplish. Lancers grip on her weapon tightened slightly, and she prepared herself for combat at any moment, from any where. Their position was utterly unsecure.

That being said, her situation was far less important than her Masters. Lancer gave a moment to contact them and notify her of the situation, before waiting on a response.

As for those around her, she may have reacted to their presence certainly. But her helmet ensured her thoughts wouldn't be betrayed in the slightest.

Their first and most pressing concern was to leave this area. The soldiers wore the same uniform. Going off that, Lancer guessed they were all on the same side. Seeing as there were no other corpses aside from theirs, it was almost certain their opponent had been something nearing or at the class of a Servant. The ominous grudges that littered the ground, their confused arrival, and the very fact this was a battlefield- they needed to prioritize leaving and regrouping just as that master had said.

". . .We could be under watch right now. For the moment, I'll refrain." Revealing ones class could be free information to an enemy. Perhaps whoever had done this was an Assassin and never left? This place reeked of an ambush, especially with the possibly deadly terrain created by the bodies.

"I will take point while Assassin screens our advance. Little Brother, I'll leave the girl in your hands." Lancer set off, moving toward any direction that wasn't here. Until Assassin notified them of a good staging area to regroup, only leaving here mattered for the moment. Since that Assassin was the presumably the womans Servant, Lancer wasn't especially worried about them getting seperated. The capacity to speak over a link was a powerful asset.

Diarmuid ua Duibhne

Diarmuid landed with grace, his golden blade glittering in the light of a twisted streetlamp. The ground around them had been pulverized, cracked, and desecrated by only a few strikes between the heroic spirit. It was exhilarating. A far cry from it's final form, but still, a battle worthy of the two heroic spirits. His heart pounding in his chest, his eyes wide as he focused upon the charging steed, and the knight who stood upon it.

This was not the truly perfect Gawain, but for now... He was more than enough to scratch that itch. That itch that had been gnawing at his back. Finally, this was why he had been summoned! As Gawain charged, Diarmuid stepped to the side, avoiding the danger of Gringolet's charge, and raising his sword to match Gawain's blade. It was a near instant motion, and his arm seemed like a puppet dragged along a string. As if the golden blade moved on its own to protect him, and he was merely holding it. The impact kept him from simply leaping away, but that wasn't his goal. Mana charged in his leg once more, power to leap high into the air...

He swung his leg out in a kick. A ground tearing kick, aimmed at Gringolet's knee. The stallion's mighty charge colliding with a mighty kick from a knight of Fionn. Which would win out? A kick charged with resolve, or a mighty steed that knew no rest? Though whatever the case, the strike would be more than enough to flip Gringolet forward, hopefully knocking the rider free.

He said nothing, but his eyes said everything. He was thanking his enemy, and wasn't going to hold back.

Asshole Shooting Arrows

Thwiiiiiiiiiiiip!

As the group sat around discussing, and as Assassin was preparing to screen the path ahead... An arrow flickered from the distance. Slicing through the air an inch from Lancer's head, and then... THUNK! Right into Saber's skull. The arrow bouncing off Trolius' head, and sailing into the air in a stunning arc. Spinning about, and drawing the groups attention, before it struck into the ground. Feathers present, and drawing a hushed silence. Each feather was a brilliant red, like a phoenix feather might be. And the shaft? A shimmering gold that seemed to radiate with head. All three servants would know instantly just what kind of arrow that was.

Apollo. For only the beautiful god who carried the sun through the sky possessed such a bow. Only he was the equal of glorious Artemis in such. And yet, it was chilling to see such a glorious weapon here, and worse, how it had bounced off the head of Troy's beloved child. Surely Apollo wouldn't have fired upon his most adored child?

In the distance, atop a roof, stood a man. His hair whipping about in the breeze, and his eyes narrowed. But even at a distance, there was no doubt... He was smiling. Already he was beginning an approach, leaping from his vantage point, and holding his hands high to signify his weapon wasn't drawn.

"Well well, what a reunion this is!" The attacker shouted as he continued his approach. "Trolius! Hector! And that bastard!" Finally, as he got closer, his face became visible through the thick dust clouds. None other than the brother of Trolius, Prince of Troy, and... Well a bit of an ass in all accounts. P-
"Oh brother, what's with that expression, aren't you happy to see me? Pandarus!"

Kriemhild

"Then we shall head north, that's the direction most of the "roots" are converging to. I imagine we mustn't be far away from at least one of the other Masters," Kriemhild said after both the Director and the Doctor explained the situation to Rosa.

"It'll benefit us if we do not delay our departure. There's no telling when we can run into more troublesome opposition, after all," she remarked as she mounted on the horse and extended her hand to Rosa. "We'll much faster if we can move at a proper pace for us Servants," she said, making her intentions evident.

While she waited for the Master's decision, Kriemhild touched her right gauntlet, drawing another symbol on it. This one was more complex in both shape and meaning than conventional runes. In fact, it was another of the gifts coming from Odin's knowledge, a magical staff. Vegvisir, intended to help one find their way through a perilous journey, be it by land or sea, even when the way isn't know, as well as granting luck and good health to their bearer.

Bellorophon

@Grey @ItMeGritty @King Cosmos

"Eyes forwards" Bellorophon called out to the people below. "I see what seems to be a boy being chased by some soldiers."

Taking in a deep breath, they stretched out their hands, pulling back on the bow, as the water flowing behind them solidified into the shape of an arrow. For Bellorophon, Wielder of Missiles, this sort of position was the norm; being high up, with no chance for the enemy to retaliate or attack first.

The best position.

One arrow crashed in front of the enemy, a singular shot meant to gauge the distance, before more came, deadly accurate. One, two, four then sixteen, Bellorophon started raining down arrows upon the soldiers without mercy.

Against the strike of a hero at the apex of Fenian Cycle, even Gawain's prized steed could not win out. Lesser men would have dismissed such a blow as a wasteful impossibility, the differences in mass and stability too much to overcome, but Diarmuid was certainly no lesser being. The red-eared charger lurched forward, its front legs swept, and for a moment, Gawain looked as if he'd be unhorsed as well.

But Gringolet too, was no lesser steed.

Kicking up with his back legs, legs that could leap over impossible traverses at the behest of the ambitious boy-knight, the horse front-flipped, sailing high in the air. Gawain remained mounted the entire time, thighs locked tight against the sides of his mount as he swung a second time whilst upside down. Whistling of death, the polished longsword swung for Diarmuid's head in a very familiar fashion.

Cheeky. Very cheeky. Gawain's grin certainly could be described as 'shit-eating.'

Gringolet landed moments after that exchange, hooves crushing the pavement before immediately springing up, another charge in motion.

Rosalyn Bell

So it seemed that the intellectuals were in agreement then. "Introductions with more people can wait, Director." Rosalyn stated, puffing on her cigarette again. She looked between the servants with her and her gaze fell on Caster's hand. "We have to head north after all, introductions will just slow us down below a servant's pace." She added, acknowledging Caster's words. She grabbed Kriemhild's hand to hop up on the horse.

She took a look around from the slightly heightened position and smiled. "Alright, Lancer, you're the vanguard. Archer keep a lookout, we need to find yours and Caster's masters after all." She had a bad feeling at what a "Servant's pace" was so she hooked her arms around Caster's waist. Despite being the "weakest" class, the Caster class was still more than able to support a human... Or kill them. "Alright, let's get a move on, no time to waste!" She couldn't help but have an overconfident smirk. While her short term memory was gone, but her long term definitely remembers the honor it was to summon a servant in a grail war... Now it was three to save the world. Despite the shitty circumstances, this was still exciting.

Troilus

“Little brother…” Troilus echoed, feeling nostalgic. Yes, this was certainly a familiar feeling. As if his brother was nearby - which perhaps he was, in a way. Maybe that feeling was why, despite the danger of his surroundings, he felt safe enough to relax.

Stupid! Allowing himself to get hit by an attack like that… Even if it didn’t hurt, even if no damage was caused - this wasn’t the sort of thing a hero should allow to happen!

And yet… Looking at that arrow, it too had that golden glow of heroism. The glow of that helmet. The glow of that sword. How confusing. Troilus turned to look at the attacker, and-

“Oh! Big brother!” It was surprising to run into one of his brothers here, but then again, he had a lot of brothers, so perhaps it wasn’t that strange. Part of his lips quirked up in a smile, but then he paused. “Why’d you attack me!?” It wouldn’t be so bad if Pandarus knew he wouldn’t have hurt him - but if that was the case, how had he known?

Still, no harm had been done in the end, and this was his beloved brother. Not his most beloved brother, certainly. Maybe in the top five, at least. Definitely top ten. Troilus allowed himself to beam. “What’s going on here, anyway? It’s dangerous. Do you know anywhere safe?”

Marietta smiled at the young looking saber. He certainly had a certain...charm to him. A certain naive heroic charm she found mildly annoying. Chuckling lightly, Mary accepted the hand briefly. She'd have said something, but it seemed as though her own servant, Assassin, was being rather uncooperative. How did he expect to set a rendezvous point when they didn't even know where they were? She merely gave Diomedes a disapproving look as he spoke. The other one wasn't quite so helpful either.

But at least she had the correct attitude. Movement first, discuss a more concrete plan once they were certainly safe.

"Assassin, try to use-" Before she could finish her remark, an arrow pierced the air, almost taking out the advanced servants and slamming into Trolius' head before harmlessly bouncing off. This of course, caused Marietta to immediately position herself next to Saber. Even as the other servant approached in a seemingly non-hostile way, she didn't take her eyes off him, nor let her own guard down. Trolius and Hector? Were these the other two servants she had picked up?

How troublesome.

"...Curb your enthusiasm, for a moment, Saber." Marietta replied coolly. Another servant...what was it doing here? "Do keep in mind he did attack us, even without intent to injure." Marietta stared down Pandarus. "...but you do at least, not seem hostile, and have some acquaintance with all three of my current servants. I assume you also know what is going on here. So I'll ask nicely once for you to explain, and if possible lead us to a safe place."
