"Alright, if you say so Guin," Flynn said, nodding his head when she mentioned going to investigate. However, he did have to agree that she did have a point, and he definitely was not okay with someone thinking that Miranda had anything to do with it. Not to mention he wouldn't be surprised if his mother was able to hear everything that was going on around her.
As if right on cue, Miranda started to stir slightly, before she opened up her eyes and slowly sat up off of the bed.
"Are you okay?" he asked her, concerned about her well being.
"I am alright Flynn, and yes, I was able to hear what you all were saying, but do not worry... I won't tell anyone about what it is you all were discussing here," she said, before looking over at Carolina.
"To answer your question, I am alright," she said in response to Annie.
"...So you are perfectly fine with the conversation we all were having just right now then?" Flynn asked her a bit dubiously.
"Yes..." she responded, but it was obvious she wasn't telling the full truth. Well, she was telling the truth about not going to tell anyone about what they were discussing, but it was somewhat obvious that she was hiding something.
"What is it mother?" he asked, instantly picking up on the fact that she was hiding something.
"It is nothing, do not worry," she replied, still looking over at Carolina.
"Whatever you say kid," Wolverine grunted slightly, only somewhat acknowledging what Max had said to him. Banner walked through the portal now, as did Shelly.
"Runa, do you wish to let that man through? Since if I had to guess, probably not," Klara asked her cousin, looking through the portal right at her, nodding her head slightly in James' direction.
"Only if this portal sends him to Niflheim," Runa muttered darkly
She just nodded her head simply, before her sword started glowing with a blackened aura as she unsheathed it,
"You are not coming through the portal," she said coldly to James, before there was a large blast that shot forward, slamming into James and sending him flat on his back on the ground. It likely was going to be a bit difficult for him to get up considering his legs were still stuck together. With that, she turned to look at Max,
"You let him through a portal and you are dead." "No killing inside," Hawkeye reminded Klara. Banner raised an eyebrow, but he couldn't blame her. He was a little weirded out by Runa's choice of words, but she was from Norway - maybe she really did believe in Norse gods and all.
Lance shook his head slightly when Novikova restored his memories of the real world. He was somewhat confused by the flash of images that went through his head. It was strange, since he didn't know Runa in the main reality, but he for some reason didn't really care, instead, he focused somewhat on what Max asked Novikova, and despite never having met her in the real world, he realized that he had the answer to his question.
"Well my head feels like it's about to explode honestly," he said, responding to Novikova's question.
"She has Dimensional Energy Perception as a power, so when she looks at a person she can see a whole bunch of alternate realities... Could explain why she was able to do that. Also not sure how I know that considering the fact that I have never met her... And uh, thanks for the jacket, in any reality I am used to the heat and don't care for the cold at all..." he responded to Max, despite living years in New York in the real world, he still wasn't too used to the cold.
Klara wasn't really paying any attention to what the others were saying about alternate realities, she was more focused also on the fact that Max had essentially just insulted her. Max would be able to see her pull out her own sling ring, identical to the one that Runa was using to keep open the portal from Australia, and she quickly whirled her hands around and a portal opened up underneath Max, sending him falling through. His own portal he had opened shut when he fell through, and now he'd find himself continuously falling.
"Okay, okay, that's enough," Hawkeye said, shaking his head a bit.
"You've made your point." "He insulted me!" "And you made your point." "...Fine, but if he insults me again I'm going to drop him from 100,000 feet and watch him hit the ground," she grumbled, before she used magic again to bring Max back. It would have felt like he had been falling for about 10 minutes, and unfortunately he didn't hit the ground very gracefully. Instead what happened was he basically did a belly flop onto the ground, his nose hitting the floor with a loud crack as it hit. Hawkeye didnât make a comment. He knew Klara was cruel and he didnât expect his words to change that.
"Klara, be nice okay?" Alex commented, walking over to all of the commotion, before glancing around at the group.
"So, what's this about some weird reality stuff, since that guy mentioned it before," he said, nodding his head towards Max.
Klara shot another glare at Max before looking over at Runa,
"Come through the portal Runa and close it, you'll tire yourself out too much if you keep it open much longer, and I wouldn't mind talking a little bit with you." "Oh, Hawkeye, Jade got back a little while ago. We can almost ensure that the King is going to make some sort of move to try and draw us out or something, because of what happened earlier. So what's the plan?" Hawkeye nodded, thinking for a moment. He then eyed the newcomers.
âWe make our move first. Tomorrow, we storm the Palace.â
Jack was looking at his brother with a confused expression on his face.
"Once again, what the hell are you talking about Casper? That makes absolutely no sense. Fairly sure you mean Lexi and she's sound asleep right now. Are you sure you are okay? Since you are continuously making absolutely no sense whatsoever..." he said to his brother, a bit concerned about why the hell he'd be talking like that, Lexi was his niece, and for some weird reason he seemed to be acting like he didn't know her at all.
"I'm fine Bobbi, honestly I've been hit with a whole lot worse," Jack said with a slight shrug, before looking back at Casper. His brother was starting to worry him a little bit when it came to this whole situation. Why was he asking questions that made no sense?
"And like hell I actually believe you when you say you are okay Casper..." âLock her up.â Gambit responded simply to the group, ignoring Bobbi's outburst that had been directed towards him. The Guild did have some holding cells down the hallways a bit, off at the far end of their base. It was like that so that they wouldn't have to deal with any of their prisoners accidentally overhearing things that the Guild was planning.
Mary was being relatively quiet right now as a ghost, figuring it was probably best not to say too much to Casper at the moment. She wasn't too sure what she could even do at the moment, but figured that it might be best to be quiet now.
