James Kingston

Location: Outside the Quinjet
Skills: N/A

James just wiggled his fingers goodbye as Diggby marched down the ramp out of the Quinjet. James sat back again, rolling his neck as he did. Considering he was still stuck in Sapphire’s ice, he didn’t have too many options other than wait for their grand ploy. Which was fine. He could take the time to organize how he wanted to hunt them afterwards. Of course they wouldn’t launch an all out manhunt. The political consequences of the masses learning of any form of dissent in the ranks would be… problematic. Since it wasn’t his area of concern, he didn’t know much of Shield’s intelligence on the Human resistance but that would be his course of action.

“We’ll aren’t you so nic- oof!” James grunted as he was unceremoniously thrown to the ground after being dragged out. Worth it for the amusement of watching Reed struggle. “Oh how original. Bravo bravo. And for your next trick, will you be pulling a dove out a hat?” James clapped obnoxiously as he stood up and dusted himself off. Shaking his head, he immediately made his way towards the Banner residence. He’d use emergency services to get the three of them away from the Banner residence and into contact with the American Embassy who should be able to get them in contact with shield.

Max just rolled his eyes as hard as he could towards Klara. It was a good thing she wasn’t a leader because boy did she lack in many qualities. Sure she didn’t have to be the most polite person in the world, but some form of decorum would probably help. Max watched as, what he could only assume was, a Red Guard soldier walked through the portal, and almost immediately disarmed themselves, kicking the gun towards him and Klara. Oh good, my disguise is working well enough for them to actually think that I’m part of this shit fest. He didn’t know much about guns, nor how exactly they functioned, but he was more than worried that kicking one could possibly set it off. Another woman approached and jumped the portal, this time sporting a bow. Watching as she did the same thing he began to see a trend in training for these guards. Interesting, an elite guard made up of only woman? Go this universe I guess.

Max stepped forward towards the two new recruits. ”Names Tome. Smart of you to disarm upon entry, or this one would likely have a sword at your throat in a matter of seconds.” he said as he pointed towards Klara. ”I’ve so far gathered that you’re Cass, possibly short for Cassandra, Cassidy, uh...sorry that’s all the Cass names I know. But what about you? What’s your name?” It was at this moment that he noticed Runas arm seemed to shake, her portal remained stable, but the strain was clearly getting to her as she informed the others to hurry. ”Excuse that thought. Hey, asgardian, you seem tired. What manner of magick do you deploy and is it teachable or useable to others? If so, perhaps I can take over for you so that you may rest from holding this portal, if not I can attempt to create one myself so that you may rest regardless.”

Michelle Diggby

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia - Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Them. Them. Them. Them.

Michelle quickly picked up on what Tinley was putting down as Kingston on his own, did not a "them" make. She was low on options. Her power was only going to make things more complicated, a complete stranger was just as dangerous to them as she was, and how on Earth could she explain how she got there, there wasn't supposed to be another soul around for miles. She couldn't fight them obviously, they'd already managed to complete restrain her once today, and so only options were try to diplomacy harder (not a strong suit), run (to where?) or accept her fate.

A fate many seemed reluctant to indulge themselves in, despite the go ahead. Most seemed content with just getting the fuck out of this hellhole. Novikova, Cass and Smith had missed their opportunity and the Sorceress seemed to be concetrated on the portal. Bautista was more conflicted about all this than she was herself and certainly wouldn't be like her to go round switching off the lights on someone elses hunch. The Banners had spent the last 10 years or so avoiding conflict and Michelle doubted either would start now if they could avoid it, leaving only Madame Abercrombie and Monsieur Howlett. It certainly wasn't too late to get knocked the fuck out by her but perhaps Michelle had misinterpreted what was meant by "them".

Either way she wasn't having anyone dig around in her ear or under her blouse for communication devices and so she ditched her radio and ear piece. Slipping a hand down her top, Michelle retrieved her mobile phone from her bra. She inspected it, letting it tumble and spin between her fingers before flicking it on to the pile. Hmm. Neither was she going to allow even her travel squeezebox end up in the Atlantic, grabbing the awkward case out of the hold.

She decended the rest of the ramp, lugging the large leather case in one hand, diary in the other and stepped out into the harsh sunlight. The cold wind from the portal whipped out, thrashing its icy tentacles at anything it could get a grip of, which was very refreshing in small doses but less so in larger ones.

Michelle strode confidently towards Agent Abercrombie, confident she still didn't know what to say to improve the outcome.

She sighed, closing her eyes, "Lets get this over with."

Niah Bautista

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia
Skills: N/A

Okay, so Maria had now had memories that proved this was some alternate reality? Novikova's power shouldn't allow her to manipulate memories. Niah would believe that Abercrombie was capable of that. Whatever Novikova had done theoretically was legitimate. The likelihood of another reality was becoming glaringly impossible to ignore. She bit her lip thinking. One hand held up covering her face from the sun. Cool air was coming from the portal that Runa was holding open. There wasn't much of a choice she was going to go through the portal, but she wasn't happy about the prospect of it.

She had been lost a bit in thought when Cass pulled Mystique, Sapphire, and Kingston out of the quinjet. She would have helped if she had realized what Cass had been doing. She sighed. Too late now. She pulled her radio off her hip and tossed it into the pile, the paused when she reached for her phone. That had to be tossed. Its signal could be used to find them. She sighed, glanced at the picture of her and her sister and then let it join the pile.

Then she saw that Kingston was walking off toward the house. That seemed really bad. Did she let him go and risk the group to whatever he had planned? Abercrombie definitely had wanted him knocked out, and supposedly she was Niah's CO in the "real world". God, she hated not knowing what to do. Why had it all gotten so complicated suddenly? Why did they seem to have memories now? Abercrombie said she had no memory of this world at all, but Niah had memories of her before today. What had changed?

Niah couldn't bring herself to actually shoot Kingston, not to mention literally in the back, even with the ICER which wouldn't do any lasting damage. "Kingston! Get back here!" She yelled at him. Then followed after him, running to catch up. "Look I get it, whatever is happening is nuts, but if you just chill and stop going off half-cocked we can figure out what is happening. This way we have Banner with us. If it turns out this is the only reality we're good on the mission. If it turns out the other reality is the real one then we need to get things set right."

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Infirmary -- The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

It still wasn’t making much sense to Antoinette about why Allison would want to go back to a different reality were mutants were not where they were today. It seemed a shame but would it really be so bad? Her intuition was still pushing the truth of Allison’s words and one could only ignore that so much before it struck a chord. Allison was telling the truth and she wasn’t trying to hurt them. She was trying to make them see sense. She was trying to wake them up.
Prince Flynn talking and trying to keep everyone calm was helping Anotinette though and it was good having so many people’s opinions so they could think logically before jumping into something ridiculous. Yes, they needed to figure out who stood to gain from this type of reality.
”Well, it makes most sense that those in the royal family stands the most to gain from a world ruled by mutants. No offence Prince Flynn perhaps your mother or father. Although, if it was your mother I don’t think she would have gotten shot, she would have accounted for that I would think.” Antoinette continued to think out loud as she tried to puzzle out the mystery.

There were Ana and black tentacles and all sorts of happenings. It was getting a little crowded in her space. As a brawler, she was concerned she might hit Cthulu guy or Ana so she hopped back a couple of paces. That was when Gambit came in and directed that Chrysi be killed. Bobbi smiled slightly - she would be fine with doing so. Chrysi was kind of a bitch but a little something in the back of her head began gnawing at her. Would Gambit regret that decision?

Jack was starting to argue with Gambit about this. Bobbi turned her attention on Chrysi but was distracted once again. This time by Casper. He seemed to be having some sort of a breakdown. As her teammate and unable to gain much quarter on the battlefront, she now made him her responsibility. She ran toward him and sat her hammer aside as she reached out and grabbed his wrists to keep him from hurting himself.

"Oi, oi. Is all right cher," she used a sweet and crooning voice as she looked up at him. It wasn't really helping. She was a very physical being. She could fight monsters that were right there in front of her. She could do nothing about the invisible things tormenting her friend. She looked around, trying to figure out what to do for him. Maybe if she could cover his ears in some way? Bobbi reached her arm into the void, pushing through that invisible space which glowed soft white around her arm. Grasping an item, hoping it was the headphones and some kind of music player. She pulled it out to find she had gotten, instead, a pair of furry pink ear muffs. She shrugged and did her best to place the ear muffs over his ears.

Allison Andrewss

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: N/A

Allison decided she could not get through to Guin, not unless she was willing to undergo more brain scans and further research, which she would if offered. So she let Guin stew in whatever hate-filled mindset she placed herself in and focused on convincing the others. It seems the blonde girl was on her side, at least. The others had questions, and rightly so. She did just come here to change their worldview.

"Kind Erik there goes by the name Magneto. In that world, his goal is to have mutants be the supreme power, much like how it's here. I do not know if he desires to be the king there, but he is for mutants and mutants only."

She did not know who in this world would be responsible, but Flynn had the right idea, at least. They would have to be careful going forward. "Agreed. I don't know who is responsible, but it is important we figure out who. King Erik seems the most likely, but I often find the most obvious is not always the correct culprit. It could be whoever did this wants us to think that too. Either way, we should investigate everyone."

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia -> Human Resistance HQ
Skills: N/A

Tinley eyed James, wondering if she should follow him and knock him out again, but she decided to leave that up to Niah. She didn't want anyone to be killed or worse here, especially since she was convinced they were all brought here for a reason. And some knew the real timeline while others only knew this world, so she could hardly blame them. "All right, follow me to find the truth. Do anything to jeopardize this and I'll leave you behind." She told Digby.

She made her way inside and saw the portal, seeing some already through and Runa struggling, she entered and came into some building with other people. She had no arms on her to give up. "I have no weapons on me. Sorry to jump in here. Name's Tinley. I imagine we both have lots of questions that need to be answered, but since we are in your domain you get the right to ask and demand first. We don't mean any harm."

Anastasia Reinhardt

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Lousiana
Skills: N/A

Anastasia hadn't expected this turnout, but she was not opposed to killing. Far from it, she knew that her family's money was bathed in the blood of others. She wasn't idiotic. And she knew if it was her or them, she would gladly take them down again and again. You had to look out for number one, after all. Now the question was...how to do the deed?

"Any particular way you wish for her to die? I'm not opposed to any method, but I would prefer not to get blood on my clothes if it could be helped. We could play with her a little, if you wanted or just end it quickly. Up to you." She would let Gambit decide, but it seemed the spirit boy was having trouble, screaming and going crazy. Was that a surprise to anyone, really? The man talked to himself, after all. Bobbi seemed to handle him though, but it would be interesting to see how he reacted to the death of Chrysi.

"...He isn't the ruler of the world or anything. We've had a bit of an on again off again relationship for years... Actually he was jealous of me back in the late nineties for having a relationship with Tony Stark, I remember going back there and he was kind of mad about it..." Miranda said with a slight laugh, before looking at Carolina as all of the images started slowing down. "I'll be waking up in another few moments, however... I may care about Erik, but I do not agree with everything he says and does, reason why are relationship hasn't exactly been stable all these years is because I'd disagree with some of the things that he was doing... You should probably leave my mind, I'll wake up in another few moments, but not before I help you out a little bit..." with that, Miranda took her Carolina's hand, and memories would instantly start flashing through her mind. Now Carolina would remember the main reality.

"Then perhaps the King orchestrated all of this," October proposed. "Of course, for all we know whoever did this might not even remember they did.... It could be any of us in this room."

"...That is definitely a possibility. But from what I know no one in the room currently has that sort of power, just saying. You'd have to remember that part though. I guess technically they could have made some sort of technological device to pull it off, but I seriously doubt it." he commented, glancing over at the others. Guin's outburst wasn't exact the best for the situation, that much was obvious. Flynn let out a sigh before deciding to just go along with what Guin said to hopefully calm the situation.

"Ok, I'm going to be honest, I'm still a bit skeptical of this entire situation, so how about we go along with Guin's suggestion. I mean, she does have a point, changing reality no matter how they pulled it off would require a lot of energy, no matter how they managed to pull it off, so how about we go and see what we can figure out that way..." He was trying his best to kind of diffuse the entire situation before it got into even more of a fight.

"I can give you a hand too Runa if you need it," Klara commented, somewhat shooting a slight glare at the people coming through the portal. However when they lowered their weapons, she lowered her guard somewhat. She still didn't trust them too much, but they seemed to mean well, she just wasn't too sure what to think about them.

Hearing Novikova's words about another reality, she turned to look at her. "Might I ask as to what the hell you are talking about? I mean alternate reality? That just sounds weird."

Banner was a bit unnerved as they just let one of the Red Guard agents, James, get up and start walking to his home. He glanced over at Lance. If his son wasn't there, then he would have let go and shifted. He didn't want James having access to his lab. "Buddy, go through the portal okay?"

"...Okay, was kind of planning on it anyway..." Lance mumbled, before he stepped through the portal as well, shivering slightly from the cold for a moment. He glanced backwards at Runa, hoping she was okay and that she'd come through the portal after them soon.

Wolverine rolled his eyes slightly at Tinley, since she had essentially ignored his suggestion to wipe the memories of the members that they were leaving behind, and he stepped through the portal, not exactly raising his hands or anything, since he didn't tend to actually carry and sort of weapons on him aside from his claws.

Hawkeye walked over to the newly arrived group, crossing his arms. "You're all insane or suicidal - maybe both. Either way, welcome to the fucking resistance."

"I'm leaning more towards them being insane if you ask me..."

Back on the other side of the portal, someone was waking up from being knocked out by Tinley in the first place, and it was Sapphire. She got up from where she was, shaking her head slightly, she was a bit confused as to the rush of memories going through her mind, or at least, partially. She was really confused as to everything, but she didn't say anything, preferring to just try and sort through what was going through her head.

Mary let out a bit of a sigh, knowing that she probably shouldn't have gone off like that. "Sorry Casper, I just am not used to people not being able to actually hear me, which this whole thing is weird," she said a bit apologetically, not too sure if he could hear her due to the pink earmuffs that Bobbi had given him. She was still internally freaking out over the whole, Gambit telling everyone to kill Chrysi.

Jack glanced over at his brother, wondering what was going on with him. "...Casper, are you okay?" he asked his brother, walking over to him.

Gambit walked up to the unconscious form of his sister and he drew a hand of cards, charging them up as he stared down at Chrysi's form. In his mind, she melted away and became the scared little kid, confused after their parents died. He had sworn to protect her. Gambit tossed the cards, aiming for the wall behind her, missing on purpose. He pulled out a pair of power dampening cuffs and put them on his sister.

Seeing what Gambit was doing, Jack couldn't help but question things, considering the guy just moments ago had said to kill her, and now it seemed like he was changing his mind. Sure, Jack was glad over all that Gambit was changing his mind, but still, a bit of a random sudden change. "...So you changed your mind I take it?"

Gambit didn’t answer verbally, just throwing a charged card at Jack, who had been somewhat prepared for it and it just sort of exploded, but since he had braced himself for the explosion the card didn't do too much damage to him, it more of bounced off of him before it exploded. "I'll take that as a yes then."

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
"Pro tip - maybe don't start accusing the Queen of things when she's in the room and in a coma. Some studies show that coma patients can actually hear what's going on around them," Guin warned a bit sarcastically. Thinking through trains of thought like these in the Palace wasn't the best idea in general of course. Sure, she was the only telepath really present here, but she wouldn't be surprised if King Erik had a telepath or two on retainer - meaning that even just thinking along these lines could be dangerous. Allison didn't know what King Erik did to those he found guilty of maiestas - treason. This blonde girl - Annie - she should know better. Executions for treason happened just about once a week, if not more frequently. She didn't want to end up being this week's execution, especially as King Erik usually had his sons perform them. Having Pietro rip out her heart... She didn't want to think about that.

Allison had ignored her suggestion - typical. It certainly wasn't like pinpointing the massive energy spike would both support Allison's claim and get them a geographic point of reference for where this event happened, allowing them to gather a list of suspects. Nope, nothing like that at all. The other blonde, the one caring for the Queen, then also decided to risk being overheard for treason. Discussing alternate realities wouldn't get them executed - but suggesting that the King had done something malevolent to get the throne? That very well could. Concentrating for a moment, she used her telepathy and constructed psionic shields in the minds of those present. It would keep telepaths from eavesdropping on their thoughts at least, helping reduce the chances of someone finding out these accusations. She couldn't help the verbal conversation, but hey, that was on them.

"I just placed psionic shields in your minds. It'll keep telepaths from hearing your thoughts on all of this. However, try not to be stupid and don't discuss this in public places," she cautioned. She then glanced at her future brother in law. "You guys can go investigate. I work better alone with some AC/DC blasting."

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper's favorite color was pink, so he had no problem with the fluffy earmuffs. In fact, he liked them. He had tried using earmuffs and music to block out the ghosts before, but it only really got rid of the sound. The Ginger's voice was muffled by them, but he could still hear her talking. Her apology didn't really strike him as sincere so he more or less waved it off with his hand. People didn't really mean they were sorry when there was a just in that sentence. Captain Hammer at least was being nice to him, trying her best to calm him down. He wished they were friends in the real world - she looked like someone he could party with. Of course, there was also a good chance she might sleep with his brother, but that was true of most of Casper's friends.

His brother came over and asked if he was okay. "Oh I'm great, sunshine," he told his brother with a slight smile. He could still see the ghosts everywhere, but the noises had quieted down to a dull roar from the earmuffs. Ben was staying silent, most likely to not contribute to the sensory overload Casper had been experiencing. He took a few deep breaths, finally paying a bit of attention to what was going on. It seemed that Gambit had chickened out of killing the psychopath - and Casper was disappointed, since he was pretty sure it just meant the crazy girl would try to kill them all later. At least as a ghost, he could get rid of her with some cocaine.

Oh, he missed cocaine... "Where's, uh, where's your kidnapping victim?" he asked his brother, trying to turn the conversation away from him.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Outside the Quinjet - Sydney, Australia / Human Resistance HQ - New York
Skills: Eldritch Magic, Dimensional Energy Perception
Novikova disarmed as well, though she kept her glasses on. She didn't want to see all of the alternate lives of these people. As cool a power as dimensional energy perception was, it could give her horrible migraines if she used it too often. Barton was there and she smiled slightly, seeing almost the entire team come back together. They were missing a few people though - Tempest, Bonnie, Raynor, Harry, Flynn, Roman. Sure, they had Sparky with them but she was a teenage boy here, so it was a little bit confusing. They had some extra additions and while she didn't really know Shelly, she seemed to want to help - though Novikova was suspicious as to her motives.

Runa stared for a moment, incredulous as well that they were just letting James walk off - well, with the exception of one of the agents. She was used to having a lot more magical ability than she did in this world, so she decided to push herself and try something. With one hand, she kept the portal open and with the other, she tried to do a full body bind on James. Instead, she managed to just make it so he couldn't move his legs at the moment. Abercrombie, the one gifted with mind control, didn't seem to have affected the memories of those they were leaving behind and she bit her lip slightly, her entire body trembling as she tried to keep the portal up. Sweat was flowing down her forehead and she was getting extremely irritated with everyone waiting around and not going through. It felt like it had been an hour she had had this portal open for.

"Everyone who is going through the portal - do it NOW!" Runa snapped, raising her voice. She was feeling dizzy and lightheaded. Every beat of her heart felt like it was a gigantic vibration sweeping through her body. The cool air flowing in through the portal helped slightly, but it couldn't do too much to alleviate her fatigue. "I'm using Eldritch Magic. And no, you cannot have my sling ring to take over," she told the man on the other side of the portal. The sling ring was her escape route and she didn't want to be without it for a second. She nodded a bit though at her cousin - she trusted her.

"It'll be easier if I just show you the alternate reality," Novikova conceded to Klara. She glanced at Lance. He had the same soul as her best friend - and he seemed so lost and confused. Maybe, if he remembered, things would be better... She took off her glasses and touched his arm, looking into his eyes. Within a few moments, she had restored his memories and she put his glasses back on. "How do you feel, Lance?" she asked him, not sure if he would remember being Sparky or if something even stranger was going on there... She knew that Sparky and Lance both existed in their normal reality, so the most likely answer was that somehow, one of them had come from a different universe. She just wasn't sure which one.

Novikova glanced over at Dr. Banner. Sparky didn't know that was her father - she was horrible at keeping secrets. Sparky would have mentioned it to her at some point that she was adopted and her real father was a raging green monster, right?

Carolina Reed

]Location: The Palace - New York City, New York
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina listened to Miranda as she started to explain a little bit more about their relationship and her having an on again off again relationship with King Erik. And that she didn't agree with his methods or words in the reality that she remembered, and the relationship with Tony as well. It was good that she would be waking up pretty soon as well, at least she was recovering now then Miranda offered to help her and felt Miranda taking her hand. As she started to get a surge of all her memories back from the main reality, her first time meeting October at Alucard's Institute, and their time there. Finding out that her sister was a SHIELD agent for the first time and helping shutting down that school and started dating.

Then their time traveling together, eventually stopping in Coventry where she watched October die right before her, tears going down her eyes as she remembered that memories, and then roaming the woods and coming across Hel and nearly dying there before waking up from the injury. Then joining up with the X-Men, and going on their missions and eventually meeting her best friend Annie there joining the team shortly after OMEN. And being tormented by Bethany and nearly getting killed by her as well when she was controlled by Mesmero and having her physical problems after that.

"Thank you.." Carolina said softly as she left Miranda's body and then entered her own body once more, quickly waking up as she started to sit up, looking over at October for a moment seeing her alive and well here she was really happy that she was okay in this reality. She turned to look over at Allison and Guin who were there as well.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills:

Cassandra took a moment and looked over towards Max when he asked what her name exactly was, she mostly just went by Cass by those that she was close with and trusted. She didn't really know him, and so far they were kind of an unknown factor for now as she gave a slight shrug. "Lets just go with Cass for now." She said and looked over towards Klara for a moment and then back at Max and shook her head slightly. "She could try cutting me with a sword, or shooting me but it wouldn't really work I literally have thick skin." Her skin was pretty durable for the most part luckily no one had really tried shooting her just yet and she didn't mean it in a threatening way either.

She watched as Tinley as came through she also started noticing that Runa was having a harder time holding the portal now, she didn't really know how that worked but she could see the strain as well. Cass then saw Hawkeye starting to approach them, she was actually really glad to see him there, remembering her search earlier that he was with the Human Resistance as well. Novikova approached Lance looking towards her as she started to restore Lance's memories just like she had done with Maria's. "It's kind of hard to explain, but we can try and answer as best we can."

Maria Smith

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills: N/A

Maria took a moment and looked at those in the room, and then turned to look at Max for a moment when he asked for her and pointed out Cass' names. "It's Maria." She said though she didn't really know why he wanted to ask for her name, she took a moment and turned to see Hawkeye coming down and approaching them. She smiled, Maria remembered her training sessions with him shortly after the Phase Three Experiments. At the time she really did suck at stealth and he appeared rather quietly behind her numerous times. And then being assigned to his team as well shortly after their first mission.

She watched as Runa was starting to have a hard time with the portal, and Runa declining his help as well she wasn't sure if her powers worked like that but she did want to help out as well. Maria watched as Novikova went to restore Lance's memories and took a few steps towards him. "Just take it easy, it's a bit of a rush with all the memories." She said towards him, she was happy that Novi had restored her own memories. "She can help restore memories, if you allow us to help, so long as you don't try and shoot us or anything." Maria said.

Max watched as a cute brunette guy made his way through the portal, seeing him shiver as he shifted from the hot Australian air to the cold East Coast winter. Poor thing, not only to be plucked out of whatever life he was previously living, but to also be thrown into a cold winter with nothing appropriate and people who seem too keen to kill. ”Hey pretty boy, have this.” He said as he eyed the mans torso for a moment, trying to get the right size before snapping his fingers in the air. Particles of purple, blue, pink, and black swirled around Lances torso for a short time before finally turning into a decent jacket. ”Damn, I’m getting sloppy. Should’ve been a faux fur lined leather jacket but either way that should help you fight the cold for now.” He took a few steps closer towards Runa, seeing her attempt more magic while already under so much strain.

Max turned to face the others that were currently present, being a bit star struck when Wolverine made an appearance. ”So we have Cass, Maria, Lance, and you need no introduction Wolverine. Pleasure to be in the presence of an X-men, truly I’m honored. Now lets see here...” Max looked through the portal, trying to gauge their surroundings in order to create another rift for them to cross over, it was clear the asgardian not only was tiring herself out, but that her pride wouldn’t allow her to ask for help from a stranger. He held his hands palm to palm, the energy swelling up within as he slowly spread them apart much like how Blink would back in the tunnels. A rift began to form but two things caught Max’s attention. The first being the mention of alternate realities, not just by one of the new girls, but also by Maria herself. The second was how that other girl was doing it, very similar to how the Queen gave him back his. He began to wonder if she was ok, hoping she made it through the attack.

The rift opened and Max could see inside the Sydney Tower. ”Whoops, bit off on my trajectory, let me try that again.” Max swiped his hands back together, closing the portal before attempting it once more. This time the rift opened some 30 feet away from Runa. ”I don’t know what a sling ring is, but you can keep it. There’s another portal leading here a bit behind you. The others are free to take it so you can come through and rest, seems like you need it.” A ghost of a smile appeared on his lips as he maintained the portal open and spoke to the others in the room. ”The only person who’s insane here is you Klara. Though i will say, full glad i am that there are others who know of the alternate reality, capable of not only backing up my defense earlier, but also to help prove to me that I’m not going insane. Kind of refreshing really. You, with the glasses, your x-gene wouldn’t by any chance allow you to view the past of others would it? Ran into another mutant with that ability and they did exactly what you’re doing right now.”

James Kingston

“For starters, my top priority was securing medical services for the comrades everyone so easily dropped. Who knows what the inhuman did to Sapphire and a punch to the face from Howlett never wakes up well. Furthermore-” James continued, his temper finally rising. This is the second time one of these short sighted imbeciles have concerned themselves with him rather than continuing with the mission. James next comment froze on his tongue in disbelief as his legs locked themselves in place. Turning at the waist, he leveled a flat glare at Runa. “I appreciate your interest in monopolizing my attention but I can tell you now, I’m not particularly interested in you.” He called over his shoulder at her. He let out a long sigh defeatedly. “Next time, someone let the hulk pummel me to death.”

“Very well Niah.” James shrugged. “Since you all are so convinced this is true, what would you have me do? I shall defer to your expertise since anytime I do anything else I end up getting knocked into the spirit realm, frozen, or suffer short term paralysis apparently.” James crossed his arms, eyebrow raised at her. “Point the way and I’ll do my best not to go off “half cocked.” These people were exhausting but at this point, he wasn’t really sure what they wanted him to do. After the initial shock, James sincerely believed he would have to play the villain in this little charade to help motivate those bonds of trust Banner apparently handed out like candy. Plus, they’d probably need someone inside slowing the process down to give them enough time to determine whatever they were attempting to figure out―multiple realities were clearly a farce―but between Diggby so clearly confused and Buatista so insistent, James must have missed something. So he decided he’d just follow along with her for the time being.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Infirmary -- The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

”Oh, like a reconnaissance mission? I’ve read about those,” Antoinette said in response to Allison. She was a little excited for the change in pace. The party had been rather dull after all. Antoinette was nervous though and wasn’t exactly sure she would be one for this job but she was curious and she had a habit of adapting to almost any situation easily enough. Antoinette listened to Prince Flynn, taking all his concerns into account. They would most definitely have to be careful. There would be a lot of attention on the whole situation. Antoinette then felt her cheeks turn red at Guin’s announcement of creating a sort of bubble around them to prevent them from being heard. She had been speaking so freely, she had forgotten her place. Strange, Antoinette normally wasn’t like that.
She saw movement and heard a creaking as the bed shifted and turned her head to see Carolina awake. She smiled, happy that her friend was alright and moved to sit by Carolina’s side. She took her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze while examining her friend for any changes. Carolina had always been a constant in Antoinette's life. They had met each other in school but even then, Antoinette only seemed to have constant memories of Carolina. Their life had been intertwined for some time.
”You missed the most exciting things,” she informed her. She looked over at the Queen than back at Carolina. ”How is the Queen?”

Niah Bautista

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia
Skills: N/A

Niah sighed relieved, time was of the essence though. "Thank you Kingston. Let's go through the portal and listen to what they have to say. Let Novikova try to return your memories. If it works then you know this isn't the real world. If it doesn't no skin off your teeth, you can continue to try to stop them. Turn over any coms you have though." She started to walk to the portal and realized that Kingston wasn't following her since his legs were stuck. Niah doubted she could carry him through the portal and resisted glaring at Runa who was struggling to keep the portal open.

The kid who opened a second portal didn't look strong enough to carry Kingston through either. She was getting very frustrated. Between the uncertainty of what was happening and not being able to think through the situation as much as she would like she wished she had some sort of offensive power just to unleash some of that pent up frustration. "Runa would you be so kind as to let Kingston go, or someone help me carry him through the portal." She didn't care which, as long as it was done right now.

Bobbi breathed a sigh of relief when Casper started to calm. She smiled up at him and gave him a slight punch to the arm which may have been a bit stronger than intended. "Don't be throwin' us for such a loop cher," she said kindly and then picked up her hammer. Her attention was drawn to Gambit as he placed the cuffs on Chrysi. So he had changed his mind it seemed. She was glad that she hadn't been all that involved lest their leader have some anger toward her.

She hefted the hammer over her shoulder and glowered at Gambit when he threw the card at Jack. "Complètement injustifiÊ!" she called out to him. "You alright?" she asked Jack, hoping the explosion was minor. Kidnap victim? What the hell was going on? Wait, did he mean the child? Was Casper still high?

Allison Andrewss

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: N/A

Allison was thankful that the others seemingly were willing to work this out. Whether or not they believed her was another matter with Guin trying her best to throw a wrench in the plan. She looked forward to proving the girl wrong if only to get the old Guin back. Allison had figured the Queen was most likely not in on it, but she wasn't accusing her. Far from it, seeing as she was attacked. Her husband though was another matter.

She let Guin leave without a word. Any word she might have said would probably be twisted some way so it was better to remain silent. She would figure that out later. "Sounds like a plan then. Hopefully, we can figure this out soon." She would leave to updating Carolina to Antoinette. It would take far too much time to stand there and explain it all again.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Human Resistance HQ
Skills: N/A

Tinley allowed the others to exchange pleasantries. "It sounds far-fetched, I know. But from what I am able to gather, there are some that remember the other reality, some who know of this reality only, and some that know both. For whatever reason, we are all here and have alternate lives. I am an Inhuman, for example, part of the Red Guard even though being Inhuman is about on par with being a regular human, according to mutants."

"Novikova is able to restore memories. If it makes it easier, you can use me as leverage. Go through with it if you want and if things get dicey you can do what you want with me. Kill me or whatever. I trust my team to be able to do the job as she did with Lance there."

Tinley stepped forward, allowing them to see she meant it. She didn't know how this would go, but if they could get these folks on their side, they'd have a large force working together to figure out how they got here and how to fix it.

Anastasia Reinhardt

Ana was a bit lost. Did they not intend to kill her now? And the fact Gambit now attacked Jack, whether he meant it as a kill shot or not remained unseen, only further complicated matters. "So are we not killing her then? C'est la vie. Perhaps we need a break. Tensions high and all that. Maybe some beignets and tea?"

She eyed Bobbi as she saw after Jack. In the back of her mind, she was curious, but would not question the new orders. But she did not have her guard down. For all she knew, Gambit had gone psycho and now intended to hurt them all. Or this was part of the training. Really, this was all quite enjoyable. Like a guessing game. What would happen next? She hoped someone would bleed soon.

"Alright, if you say so Guin," Flynn said, nodding his head when she mentioned going to investigate. However, he did have to agree that she did have a point, and he definitely was not okay with someone thinking that Miranda had anything to do with it. Not to mention he wouldn't be surprised if his mother was able to hear everything that was going on around her.

As if right on cue, Miranda started to stir slightly, before she opened up her eyes and slowly sat up off of the bed. "Are you okay?" he asked her, concerned about her well being.

"I am alright Flynn, and yes, I was able to hear what you all were saying, but do not worry... I won't tell anyone about what it is you all were discussing here," she said, before looking over at Carolina. "To answer your question, I am alright," she said in response to Annie.

"...So you are perfectly fine with the conversation we all were having just right now then?" Flynn asked her a bit dubiously.

"Yes..." she responded, but it was obvious she wasn't telling the full truth. Well, she was telling the truth about not going to tell anyone about what they were discussing, but it was somewhat obvious that she was hiding something.

"What is it mother?" he asked, instantly picking up on the fact that she was hiding something.

"It is nothing, do not worry," she replied, still looking over at Carolina.

"Whatever you say kid," Wolverine grunted slightly, only somewhat acknowledging what Max had said to him. Banner walked through the portal now, as did Shelly.

"Runa, do you wish to let that man through? Since if I had to guess, probably not," Klara asked her cousin, looking through the portal right at her, nodding her head slightly in James' direction.

"Only if this portal sends him to Niflheim," Runa muttered darkly

She just nodded her head simply, before her sword started glowing with a blackened aura as she unsheathed it, "You are not coming through the portal," she said coldly to James, before there was a large blast that shot forward, slamming into James and sending him flat on his back on the ground. It likely was going to be a bit difficult for him to get up considering his legs were still stuck together. With that, she turned to look at Max, "You let him through a portal and you are dead."

"No killing inside," Hawkeye reminded Klara. Banner raised an eyebrow, but he couldn't blame her. He was a little weirded out by Runa's choice of words, but she was from Norway - maybe she really did believe in Norse gods and all.

Lance shook his head slightly when Novikova restored his memories of the real world. He was somewhat confused by the flash of images that went through his head. It was strange, since he didn't know Runa in the main reality, but he for some reason didn't really care, instead, he focused somewhat on what Max asked Novikova, and despite never having met her in the real world, he realized that he had the answer to his question. "Well my head feels like it's about to explode honestly," he said, responding to Novikova's question. "She has Dimensional Energy Perception as a power, so when she looks at a person she can see a whole bunch of alternate realities... Could explain why she was able to do that. Also not sure how I know that considering the fact that I have never met her... And uh, thanks for the jacket, in any reality I am used to the heat and don't care for the cold at all..." he responded to Max, despite living years in New York in the real world, he still wasn't too used to the cold.

Klara wasn't really paying any attention to what the others were saying about alternate realities, she was more focused also on the fact that Max had essentially just insulted her. Max would be able to see her pull out her own sling ring, identical to the one that Runa was using to keep open the portal from Australia, and she quickly whirled her hands around and a portal opened up underneath Max, sending him falling through. His own portal he had opened shut when he fell through, and now he'd find himself continuously falling.

"Okay, okay, that's enough," Hawkeye said, shaking his head a bit. "You've made your point."

"He insulted me!"

"And you made your point."

"...Fine, but if he insults me again I'm going to drop him from 100,000 feet and watch him hit the ground," she grumbled, before she used magic again to bring Max back. It would have felt like he had been falling for about 10 minutes, and unfortunately he didn't hit the ground very gracefully. Instead what happened was he basically did a belly flop onto the ground, his nose hitting the floor with a loud crack as it hit. Hawkeye didn’t make a comment. He knew Klara was cruel and he didn’t expect his words to change that.

"Klara, be nice okay?" Alex commented, walking over to all of the commotion, before glancing around at the group. "So, what's this about some weird reality stuff, since that guy mentioned it before," he said, nodding his head towards Max.

Klara shot another glare at Max before looking over at Runa, "Come through the portal Runa and close it, you'll tire yourself out too much if you keep it open much longer, and I wouldn't mind talking a little bit with you."

"Oh, Hawkeye, Jade got back a little while ago. We can almost ensure that the King is going to make some sort of move to try and draw us out or something, because of what happened earlier. So what's the plan?"

Hawkeye nodded, thinking for a moment. He then eyed the newcomers. “We make our move first. Tomorrow, we storm the Palace.”

Jack was looking at his brother with a confused expression on his face. "Once again, what the hell are you talking about Casper? That makes absolutely no sense. Fairly sure you mean Lexi and she's sound asleep right now. Are you sure you are okay? Since you are continuously making absolutely no sense whatsoever..." he said to his brother, a bit concerned about why the hell he'd be talking like that, Lexi was his niece, and for some weird reason he seemed to be acting like he didn't know her at all.

"I'm fine Bobbi, honestly I've been hit with a whole lot worse," Jack said with a slight shrug, before looking back at Casper. His brother was starting to worry him a little bit when it came to this whole situation. Why was he asking questions that made no sense? "And like hell I actually believe you when you say you are okay Casper..."

“Lock her up.” Gambit responded simply to the group, ignoring Bobbi's outburst that had been directed towards him. The Guild did have some holding cells down the hallways a bit, off at the far end of their base. It was like that so that they wouldn't have to deal with any of their prisoners accidentally overhearing things that the Guild was planning.

Mary was being relatively quiet right now as a ghost, figuring it was probably best not to say too much to Casper at the moment. She wasn't too sure what she could even do at the moment, but figured that it might be best to be quiet now.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Investigation, Deduction, Electronics and Computers, Problem Solving
"Morning, Sleeping Beauties," Guin greeted, as Carolina came to along with Miranda. She was relieved to hear that Miranda was alright. She was rather close with the Queen and the insinuations that Miranda somehow could have been behind all of this still bothered her, even if people had largely recanted them. People had pretty much ignored the fact that she made psionic shields for them and she huffed a bit, wondering why she even bothered. She looked at Miranda for a moment and whispered telepathically into her mind, "I'm glad you're okay."

"Later, losers," she then said to the rest, leaving the infirmary. It wasn't too hard to give her guards the slip and she went to the tiny Palace lab. It was nothing compared to the technology they had at Stark Tower, but she knew that Lorna used it often enough that it had some worthwhile equipment. She also didn't need her grandfather's help with this - she knew exactly what sort of tests she wanted to run. As she entered the lab, she locked the door behind her. She went over to the machines, retasking a few instruments, breaking into databases, and hijacking a Stark satellite briefly. "Okay, what do you got for me?" she mumbled to herself, as her fingers flew across the keyboard.

The results were conclusive - there had been a huge energy spike within the past six hours. As she refined the location, it seemed to have been centered at New York. She bit her lip slightly, staring at the computer screen for a moment. "Shit," was all she could say, pushing her hair out of her face. She didn't even know how to think about the moral implications here. It was seeming more likely that Allison was right that reality had changed and it had happened recently, too - but she still wasn't sure that meant they needed to change things back to the way they were.

They needed to stop someone from doing something like this again, though. It was way too much power for one individual to have. And that was mostly why she was reluctant to change things back - wouldn't they be doing the same thing they were trying to stop? "I could walk away from this right now, just stop..." she mumbled, but she then resumed working. If she was able to get an energy signature, maybe she could figure out how this was done - and then, figure out who did it.

Casper Theriot

Location: LeBeau Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
"Je suis desolĂŠ," Casper apologized to Bobbi. He felt a little bad - he hadn't meant for anyone to get concerned over him. Usually, most people were just sort of used to how he was and they dismissed him, even if things really were wrong. It wasn't like his father had ever cared in his life about his wellbeing and while his mother had tried, she wasn't the best mother in the world. She'd leave them behind and go with the Brotherhood for what felt like months at a time. He was always jealous that Jack had a father that wasn't tied up in the Professor X Magneto drama. He perked up a bit as Anastasia mentioned taking a break for snacks.

"Oooh, I'd love some tea!" he chimed in. He waved off his brother's concerns. "Je vais bien!" he insisted. Honestly, the earmuffs were really helping and keeping the ghosts at bay. The ginger ghost seemed to have gone quiet and Ben was more or less just listening at the moment, meaning that Casper's mind was as clear as it could ever really get. However, Ben did walk over to Mary's ghost and give her a hug. "It's hard just watching," he said sympathetically. "When you wake up... Go out and live your life, will you?"

Casper's brother did seem to be telling the truth about the kid actually being his. "Huh... Mazel tov," he said simply, not really sure what to think about his brother having actually fathered a child. Sure, it wasn't out of the realm of possibility - he knew that Jack liked to sleep around and did so often - but it was a little weird to think about. His brother lived on coffee, doughnuts, and alcohol - did he feed the same things to the little kid? Or did he skip the alcohol and double up on the coffee?

"Casper, you're not Jewish..." Ben reminded him.

"So? Anyone can say Mazel tov!"

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Outside the Quinjet - Sydney, Australia -> Human Resistance HQ - New York
Skills: Eldritch Magic, Dimensional Energy Perception
Once everyone had gotten through the portal, Runa moved through it herself and closed it. Sweat was pouring down her face and her arms were trembling from the extended effort. Some practitioners at higher skill levels could open a portal and just leave it, but Runa was limited by the skill level she had achieved in this false, human life. She was just a novice, beginning to study eldritch magic and hardly able to keep a portal open that long. She hadn't answered the agent about releasing James, but the magic should wear off on its own and she didn't have the strength to reverse it at the moment.

Novikova rolled her eyes slightly as Wolverine was recognized for being a member of the X-Men, but they weren't recognized as being actual agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - not just in this reality but in the real one, too. That was one thing that did suck about being an agent. While everyone thanked the Avengers, made posters of the Fantastic Four, and got autographs from the X-Men, they never really cared about S.H.I.E.L.D. They were more likely to be yelled at than applauded. Her own efforts to save her friend from the Quantum Realm had cost her so much, nearly ruining her career - she wasn't praised for saving lives. "I have a name," she told the man a bit sharply at first. "Also, Abercrombie - like hell are we just going to let you die."

She then nodded as Lance explained her powers, a bit annoyed that he answered for her but she was going to let him do that just once. Next time, she'd snap at him for it. "I can't see the past - it's like what he said. I can see your other lives. If I see enough of them, I get a good idea of what sort of person you most likely are." It helped her identity the occasional HYDRA operative in the past. "Your headache should pass with time, most likely..." But given that Barton had ignored Tinley and he used to work with them, Novikova decided to restore his memories first. It'd help get everyone on the same page. She repeated the process she had done before with him, before doing the same thing with Niah in an attempt to get their entire team back together.

Meanwhile, Runa was so exhausted from all of the magic and thankfully, her cousin dragged a chair over for her. She collapsed into the chair and her eyes closed against her will, as she promptly fell unconscious. It had been such a huge drain on her energy that now that she had stopped, she wasn't going to be able to do much for a little while. At least she hadn't fainted while standing up - she was perfectly safe in the chair.

Carolina Reed

]Location: The Palace - New York City, New York
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina looked towards Guin, she was glad to actually see her along with Allison, she then turned her attention towards Annie and smiled as her best friend sat down next to her and gave her a quick hug. She was still processing all of her memories again, it was really weird for her to remember everything all at once. Carolina looked over towards her wife October, biting her bottom lip she really was happy to see that she was alive even if this reality wasn't real. Then Miranda woke up and smiled towards her for a moment glad that she was awake as well. "I think I got the gist of what you all were talking about.." Carolina said softly looking towards Annie and smiled at her for a moment.

She wasn't going to speak about what she and Miranda had spoken about and quickly started to think of something on the fly. [color=cyan]"She's just really tired, having someone try and kill you tends to make you really tired."[/color[ Carolina said looking towards Miranda for a moment, she nearly did die twice from two head injuries. And she was having a lot of problems losing balance and narcolepsy to name a few. Carolina then turned towards Allison before speaking to her. "I remember everything so you don't have to brief me or anything." Carolina said softly and looked back towards October she wasn't sure if she wanted to fix this reality or not she was really happy and had everything she wanted.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills:

Cassandra turned to look at Tinley and shook her head, she was their team leader in the main world and she didn't even want to see her friend die either. "I'm with Novi, whatever happens we all will handle it together." Cass said towards her, and looked towards the kid Max, raising an eyebrow as he started to make a portal, and insulting their lovely guests. She wasn't even sure who this kid was but he seemed to be in the same boat as the others were and remembered the real world. "I'm not comfortable having the Kingston guy with us either." She said, seeing as it was HIS fault for unleashing the Hulk after all, and he seemed to be a manipulative fuck as well.

She was actually glad that Klara shot at him sending him back a few feet, and then Klara opening up a portal and sending Max through it in a continuous loop which was actually pretty entertaining as well. "Remind me to not piss you off." Cassandra said towards Klara as she set Max back and winced slightly as he fell hearing a cracking sound. She sighed a little bit and started to make her way over towards Max and offered to help him back up to is feet.

"It's best to think before you say anything." She said while watching Novikova going to restore the memories of Hawkeye and Niah hopefully their team will be back to full strength as well. Then her attention turned towards Alex as he stepped into the room remembering him from their reality as well, she had mixed feelings about him. "Should we even ask what you guys did?" Cass asked looking between Hawkeye and Alex.

Maria Smith

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills: N/A

Maria stood there for a moment as she watched everyone in the room while occasionally looking over at Novikova as she went to restore the memories of Hawkeye and Niah, it would be good that they had their team back together. She looked towards Tinley and shook her head towards her, sure they did have their differences in the past but Tinley shouldn't have to play a target either. "Like Novi and Cass said, we are in this together." Maria told her, she ran a hand through her hair and turned towards Max and glared at him, she didn't really like the way that he addressed her girlfriend it was true she didn't give her name out to him. "Her name is Dominika." She decided to answer, and looked over her shoulder as Klara shot James a few feet away from the portal wincing slightly as he landed. She was glad that he wouldn't be joining them, he did really rub her the wrong way as well from day one from her memories of this reality.

Then Klara sent Max through a portal and watched him fall for a few minutes it was probably a little overkill but at least she didn't decide to kill him. She nodded slightly towards Cass, she didn't really want to piss Klara off right now as she looked over towards Novikova for a moment. "Do you need any help?" She decided to ask, if she needed help restoring everyone else's memories those that wanted to anyway. She watched as Alex came into the room, remembering that he was trying to be elected for president as well, and remembered from reading that he was the head of OMEN before he shut it down.

Maximillian Gray

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills:
Conjuration, New Outfit

Max smiled at the cute guy who seemed to be the only decent person from this group. Well, that wasn’t entirely true, The two woman who walked in first, seemed to have some more decorum than the rest that shuffled in behind. He mentioned dimensional energy perception was her x-gene, which for the most part fell in line with a similar strand the Queen had. Two abilities that helped its user see into others lives, made sense as to how they may be able to use it to give back the memories of said lives to those they wished. It was clear that Lance was still wrapping his head around which memories belonged where, not that Max could blame him. Next spoke the girl with glasses, who made note that she does in fact have a name, yet still neglected to say what it was, so Max decided to ignore her for the time being lest he make even more enemies in this emcampment. Max began to think about how his locator spell lead him to Scarlett Witch, yet she acted as if she knew nothing of the sort, but why?

This train of thought was quickly broken by Klara barking at him not to let ‘him’ in, which Max ended up seeing through his portal that the man she referred to was James. James! Finally a familiar face! But that didn’t last long as Klara blasted James with some Eldritch energy before promptly opening up a rift beneath him causing him to fall endlessly for what felt like ten whole minutes. The first two minutes were spent yelling and cursing at the woman, venting out some frustration as he fell. After that proved to be unproductive, he decided to use this time to think on what he knew. James was here, yet no one wanted that puppy dog of a man around, why? Scarlett Witch knew of the reality yet denied it, something her mother seemed to want broken,so the Queen clearly was out of the picture on the who done it. Next was Alex who seemed to be the only caring person, to an extent, within this resistance, there was Lance who was just really cute, not much more than that, and finally the rest of the Red Guard who seemed to be a group of Nick Fury’s with major sticks up their asses.

As he continued to fall for a few moments more Max wailed out ”Oh my god I’m so booooooored. You, Klara, worst of the line of Odinson’s have made done the cardinal sin of BORING ME! Can you stop this petty game because I really don’t want to find out what happens when a portal is opened inside of a portal, cuz if D&D taught me anything, its a dimensional rift that sucks all around them into a vacuum and potentially kills them!” As he finished speaking the portal opened back up and he went straight onto the floor, his nose cracking against its hard surface, and his head in pain. As he lay there, cheek pressed against the cold hard floor, he muttered ”I wish James was here...he’d be able to heal me up. Alright” Max placed one hand after the other onto the floor and slowly pushed himself up, feeling his face to inspect the damage. A million ideas ran through his mind, trapping Klara into her own personal hellscape where no one would know the wiser, having her fall for eternity as she did to him (but he doubted she’d be smart enough NOT to open a portal within a portal), setting her on fire, setting the whole building on fire, summoning Magneto through a rift and letting him have his was with these people. So many possibilities.

As Max stood up, he held his wrist to his nose, allowing the cotton to soak up any blood that may be leaking out now. He didn’t speak a word aside from a mutter under his breath that was muffled by his arm and shirt, saying ”You tarnish the good name of Thor” He rolled his shoulders, trying to stretch out the aches and pains from the land as he walked in a circle. He watched as Runa promptly passed out from exhaustion, now that was interesting. Not everything was as it was in this reality, and he was beginning to think that these “Asgardians” were no gods, nothing more than some form of mortal with the capability for magic beyond the x-gene, something assisted by these items called sling rings. Good, that meant he could kill Klara or at least take her on in a fight if he had to. Max attempted to conjure a knife while Klara was busy with Runa, using it so rip off a piece of fabric from his shirt, and then stuff it in his nose to aid with the bleeding. He then quickly changed outfits into something less...homely. Unfortunately for him, he was able to conjure up a measly ballerina outfit, outstretched in his hands. He rolled his eyes and attempted the feat again but only to achieve the same result.
