Niah Bautista

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia -> Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills: N/A

Niah pushed the frustration away, "Sorry Kingston." She said to him and stepped through Runa's portal before she closed it. She had tried to keep the team together as best as she could. They needed to be working together to solve this problem and here someone who wasn't even on their team was refusing to allow them to stick together. She had been slightly tempted to stay behind with Kingston but had decided against it. She needed more information. "I'm Doctor Niah Bautista." She introduced herself and put her ICER with the other discarded weapons. That was harder than dropping her cell phone had been. She had no offensive powers and without the ICER she felt weirdly naked.

Novikova stepped over to her and placed her hands on Niah's head. There was a rush of memories, of knowledge, of pain. In the other world, Niah now knew about she had lost so many. Tears fell freely down her face and she tried to control her sobbing but it was impossible. She didn't even know how she ended up on the ground but there she was kneeling down sobbing into her hands. "Dalaisy." So many other names crossed her mind but her heart was breaking over knowing that her sister was dead. Her sweet and loving sister had been murdered. Niah held onto all the memories she could of her sister in this world cherishing them. They were all a lie.

Michelle Diggby

Location: Red Guard Mobile Unit - Sydney, Australia -> Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills: N/A

Tucking her diary under her arm, Michelle knelt and undid the brass clasps on the case of her instrument of torture and left her accordion to be inspected by the greeting party. Additionally, and possibly more importantly (although certainly not to Michelle), she pulled her trusty boot knife out from her sock. She felt bad about leaving Red Guards behind, but without following through the gate it would have been tough to re-establish contact. Despite being a few men down, she still had to continue the mission, she needed to keep tabs on her turncoat teammates and investigate the validity of this other world. Tinley's ultimatuum in her mind, Michelle quietly stood back up and starting to pay more attention to the world around her. People were getting their "memories", a concept that Michelle wasn't entirely happy about. She shared Kingston's doubts, it was only natural to be sceptical and it was indistinguishable from mind control.

Completely enveloped in it, the cold's tentacular grip was no longer as consensual as it was in Australia, which begged the question, where were we now? On her ever expanding list of questions it wasn't very far up, especially when two new good ones had just popped up. While everyone else what caught up in the spectacle of a man falling between two portals and the laying on of hands reducing Bautista to a sobbing mess, everyone seemed to have missed some of the vital information.

"Hold on. The King? Storm The Palace?" Michelle repeated before she joked, "You're not talking about jumping the fucking turnstiles at Graceland, are you?"

Michelle folded her arms, tucking her fingers out of the freezing air. This was escalating way too fast.

James Kingston

Location: Outside the Banner Residence
Skills: N/A

Kingson let out a yelp and a strangled curse as the bolt of energy slammed him to the ground. Stars danced in front of his eyes and he gasped, the throbbing pain in the back of his head making it hard to concentrate on more than just what the fresh fuck just happened? He groaned as he struggled to sit up, pleased to find his legs unstuck and even more pleased to find the portal shut. Frankly, he didn’t want to go with them but Niah made him completely confused. As much as it sucked getting tossed around like a rag doll, at least James’s head was clearer now and the plan was back on track. Speaking of which…

“God fucking damn it. Clarke, get your ass in gear. Assholes sided with Banner so we need to get back to base and get our shit together. Don’t get on the Quinjet. They were talking about exploding it over the ocean and fiddled with it.” James grumbled as he hauled himself up off the ground with a grunt. He limped over to Mystique’s unconscious corpse and he tried to revive her, only partially disappointed when he failed. It was better he didn’t have to listen to her incompetence more than he needed. “I’m going inside to contact headquarters. Keep a watch out or drag her inside, I don’t care. I just want out of this heat at this point.” James muttered angrily as he limped inside. The pain in his back was slowly fading and his strides becoming more even with every step.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Infirmary -- The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette seemed to relax as her friend took the moment to hug her. She continued to smile pleasantly at Carolina as she explained the Queen was fine, just tired and that she had heard their conversation as well. Antoinette felt a bit ashamed that her half of the conversation had still been heard; however, the Queen didn’t seem to take any offence. Thank goodness. Still, Antoinette bowed her head gratefully to the Queen before she looked back at Carolina.
”I think we should try to get some rest then before we try to tackle this subject of alternate realities further. Everything will keep until the morning,” Antoinette said confidently. She didn’t seem to notice Carolina looking at October like she had some great weight upon her shoulders or the fact that Flynn was slightly upset with all this talk. In fact, Antoinette didn’t seem to notice anything off. Everyone seemed to be well, if not a little tired from the exciting evening. Antoinette yawned and rested her head on Carolina’s shoulder, ready to go to the comfort of their apartment and forget about this night.

She nodded mutely in understanding to Jack's statement. It was a hazard in their line of work to get beat up by someone else a bit. The cards could sting but wouldn't necessarily cause lasting damage. As evidenced by Bobbi's network of bruises from the practice fight just a few minutes ago. She smiled at Casper. "I'm just glad you're alright," she responded.

She approached Chrysi and Gambit, taking the crazy blonde by the upper arm. Her hammer was still slung over her shoulder. Having naturally enhanced strength meant that she might be one of the best candidates to take her down to the cells. Her grip on the girl's arm was perhaps a bit too hard but Bobbi would not be sad about that. "Come along." Her statement was cold and hard as she pushed the young woman toward her imprisonment.

The Palace

Guin would be able to figure out some things about the energy blast, despite not being able to pinpoint where in the city the energy had been centered around. She was able to determine what likely caused the blast however, and it likely wasn't a good thing all things considering. The energy ripple had been caused by Chaos Magic and Reality Warping, so it only could have really been a mutant who caused this, and there was one other problem Guin would realize. There was only one mutant in the entire world who could have had even close to the amount of power that was required in order to potentially rewrite reality, and that was Pietro's sister Wanda.

The next morning, Pietro raced into the lab, and ran right up to Guin, and he was looking at her. He also clearly did not look too happy at the moment. "Really Guina? You had to ditch your guard and such? Plus spend all night here? What the hell is going on Guina? Tell me right now! Oh, and we have to get moving, there is going to be a execution in half an hour that we have to go to, and if you are tired it's your own fault."

October walked into the art studio and gave both Carolina and Annie a kiss on the cheek. "I have work today, loves, but it might be in line with your plans," she said with a slight smile. "I've been asked to attend the execution as a mortician, confirm the deaths and all since physicians can't be a part of it due to the hippocratic oath. I can get you into the Palace, maybe you could poke around while I poke at corpses?"

Meanwhile, Allison would be back at her penthouse apartment with Oshea. He was already dressed and ready for the day, and he looked over at her. "Hey Ally, this whole thing sucks but we really should get going... The King tends to want an audience you know for executions, so we really need to get going back to the Palace for it... Despite the fact that I honestly hate going to these things, it can't be helped," he told her with a slight shrug, giving her a bit of a smile.

The Human Resistance HQ

The night before, Novikova had gone around and restored the memories of just about everyone else in the Resistance group. The instant Klara had her memories returned, she walked over to Max, before using magic to heal him somewhat, repairing his broken nose. "I am sorry..." she said softly to Max, but from her tone of voice, it was obvious that she had heard Max's words about her father, and it was clear that it hurt her a lot. She sheathed her sword once more, and simply walked away, except she didn't walk to another part of the building, she walked straight outside into the night.

"...Even though I've never met her, I've heard Thor talk about her, pretty sure the two of them are fairly close, so you probably shouldn't have said that... I know that she wasn't exactly being the nicest person around and didn't really know about the real world, but still... Just goes to show how things can be different," Lance said to Max with a shrug, before walking over to where Runa was passed out.

The group would have places to sleep, they definitely weren't the best accommodations, but they were the best that they had available. Klara still hadn't returned to the base at all, and no one would really be able to tell where she had went off to.

"Okay, so we know this reality isn't real - but we have to assume deaths here are still real. Erik is executing humans at random to try to draw us out - so we're going to be walking into a trap. Has anyone seen Klara?"

"No, she took off last night after Novikova over there fixed everyone's memories about well, everything really... Just kind of took off," Alex responded, glancing around at the group a bit. "Not to mention to continue with what you were saying about this reality not actually existing, we still have no idea who caused this or what even happened."

"Well," Jade said, polishing off a bit of whiskey. "Good thing you have London's Actual Finest here on the case."

"So, do you have any ideas then? Or are you just wanting to get out and see about investigating and figuring it out?"

"If you can get me into the Palace, I'll know who did it within minutes," she boasted. However, she really was that good. In the real world, her father was a Sherlock Holmes type and Jade had inherited his deductive skills. Her husband was the President-elect but she still took on cases that interested her, competing with Jack Theriot in D.C. as a private investigator. Most in the superhero community though know her as the woman who killed the devil in the Altsoba Massacre.

"Well we'll have to see about that Jade," Alex said with a slight laugh, "We'll see what we can do about getting there. The Palace is where that execution is taking place, so we need to head over there anyway."

"Alright. One team is going to stop the execution and do a full out assault on Erik's forces. A smaller group can go with Shirley Holmes here and investigate the Palace during the chaos," Hawkeye decided. Alex nodded his head in response to that, figuring it would probably be better doing that, since hopefully Magneto wouldn't expect them to just go into the Palace either.

Lance meanwhile was standing by Runa, still not really caring that he didn't know her in the real world, and he was still wondering if she was alright. "Are you okay Runa?" he asked her, giving her a slight smile.

The Red Guard

Luckily for those still back in Australia, Cass hadn't done the best programming job on the quinjet, so the group was able to fly back rather easily to the US and report what all had happened to the Director of SHIELD Sebastian Shaw, and now they were currently in a vehicle heading towards the Palace, as the King had requested SHIELD agents to attend the executions that morning, as it was almost a guarantee that the Human Resistance group would be in attendance. They had managed to get some back up anyway, that being Agent Waverly Watts, better known as Feedback.

"Well this will definitely be an interesting event won't it?" Sapphire said simply to James with a shrug as the vehicle pulled up to the Palace. She knew her way around the place, both inside the building and the surrounding grounds and area. They still had about half an hour or so until the execution was set to take place, so anyone who wasn't used to the area could make their way around and see where they should be placed.

"Oh, Kingston, something you should probably know I feel like you should know," Mystique said, glancing over at him. "I did a bit of research on the flight back from Australia, and turns out that that girl, Runa Blake? Her cousin is apparently with the Human Resistance, and I believe is the one responsible for keeping you from entering that portal. Other agents found her wandering the streets, apparently she had decided to go visit her father's grave. She's one of the ones who are being executed today. You probably would be allowed to try and question her about the Resistance before the execution."

With that, she got out of the car and headed into the Palace, with Sapphire right behind her. The dungeons were down in the basement area of the Palace. The group could head down there, split up and do whatever, or just survey the area that the execution was going to take place to get an idea of where they should be stationed, that was an option too.

The Thieves Guild

With Chrysi dealt with, everything was situated for the group to go to Baton Rouge in order to try and steal the Diadem of Athena. It seemed like no matter what Casper may argue about things, they were going after the crown. Mary had only been released from the hospital about 10 minutes before they left for the Red Guard facility, staying somewhat quiet about everything. The group had their own transportation there, having a small jet of sorts that easily could fly under the radar and not draw suspicion. Currently they were getting fairly close to Baton Rouge, and from there it wouldn't be too far to the SHIELD facility.

"Okay mes amis, how many of you have had an encounter with SHIELD?" Gambit asked the group as the plane flew them towards their destination. Mary raised her hand at that, having encountered them out on a job before, not to mention they generally hung around the Palace in New York, where if she ever went up the east coast she'd go to visit her best friend. Rogue raised her hand at that as well, but Jack just simply shook his head, not really encountering SHIELD until probably somewhat soon.

"They likely won't hesitate to use deadly force if they catch us trying to steal the crown, so we need to be careful no matter what we do..."

"Bien sĂťr. Be prepared to use deadly force in turn. Split into pairs and we'll comb the facility."

"Who wants to be paired up with who then? I don't care either way," Rogue said with a shrug, looking over at the group who was there.

"...I'll stick with Casper if that's alright with you... There is an odd number of us, so one group would have to be a group of three," Jack commented, glancing over at Casper. He was concerned about his brother, especially considering what he was saying the night before, so now seemed like the time to be keeping an eye on him.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit - Day 2)
Skills: Telepathy (Mental Link)
Guin had fallen asleep in the lab, having been pouring over databases and the information she had collected. No matter which way she tried to approach it from an alternate angle, the results were clear - Princess Wanda had to have been the one to change the world. She wanted to know why she had done it. Perhaps her future sister in law had a good reason, such as adverting the end of the world by making a new one? But with what Allison had told her, about King Erik being a criminal... she couldn't come up with an explanation as to why Wanda would put a criminal on the throne that still allowed her to view it all with Wanda acting towards the greater good.

She jumped slightly as she woke up to Pietro more or less yelling at her, demanding to know what she had been up to and why she ditched her guards. "They aren't really good at their jobs, more of their fault if they couldn't find me..." she muttered. Her neck was a bit stiff from the position she had slept in. Still though, she didn't want to go to the execution. She wanted more time to think all of this over. "I'm not feeling well... I think I need to rest."

"You are a horrible liar Guina..." Pietro replied, clearly not buying it.

She bit her lip slightly. She knew from experience that Pietro wasn't going to let her out of his sight for a while, but she needed to be able to sort all of this out before Allison did. She didn't trust that Allison wouldn't just find Wanda and force her to change things back, without examining all of the options and figuring out what everyone wanted. Allison was her friend, but her self righteous behavior was a bit annoying at the moment. "Look, I need to talk to you in private," Guin requested. She would just need to trust that he could keep a secret from Wanda.

"Uh... Sure?"

Guin nodded, heading to their room and she got changed into a new outfit. She really wanted to just be in a pair of leggings and a t-shirt, but that wasn't in the cards. She shut the door and locked it, before glancing around suspiciously. "Okay, you can't tell anyone about this but... Your sister, I think she changed the world. Made your family royalty, made mutants on top... None of this existed twenty four hours ago."

Casper Theriot

Location: Thieves Guild Jet - Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper had managed to sleep better than he had in years. Normally, his brain would be craving some sort of narcotic in order to shut out the ghosts, as they became more active at night, but that problem was gone. He had a greater control over his powers in this world than he had imagined possible. Seeing his brother doting over a little kid was a bit weird, but then again, he always liked to help people. He didn't know what would happen to the kid if things were put back to normal - would she die or just cease to exist?

At least the night had given him time to talk with Ben and to come up with a plan - he just had to sabotage the Baton Rouge mission and ensure that no one here got their hands on an infinity stone. Hopefully someone more qualified to deal with them would show up - maybe an Avenger or two? - but for now, he'd have to assume it would be just him. By the time they were on the jet the next day, he realized that the someone more qualified would be a member of SHIELD / the Red Guard... and that they were going to use lethal force. Fantastic.

"Hey, where's the Incest Twins?" he observed, noticing that the brother-sister boyfriend-girlfriend pair was absent that had been there the day before - Richard and Ayita. The femme fatale and the eccentric hammer enthusiast were both present, along with Gambit and Rogue, his brother, and one of the ginger twins. He knew that Gambit and Rogue had been a part of his father's X-Men and he didn't have too high of an opinion about that team, so he wasn't worried about needing to sabotage them in order to prevent them from getting the stone. His brother was a marshmallow, the ginger seemed quiet and maybe traumatized, and the hammer chick honestly just looked like she was here to have fun.

The one he was worried about then? Anastasia. She was made out of steel and he didn't doubt that she wouldn't let anything get between her and that stone. Ben had similar thoughts. "You could go with the Iron Maiden and sabotage her directly... Or if you take the goofballs with you, then maybe you guys can mess things up enough before she can even get near it," Ben suggested.

Casper nodded slightly. Anastasia scared him, so he liked Ben's idea of ruining everyone's odds of getting to the stone by just designing an incompetent trio. "I got dibs on Bobbi and Jackie!" he called out.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Her brief time spent unconscious from overextending her magic had been the extent of Runa's sleep during the night. Her insomnia stemmed from the drastic timezone change and the knowledge that the fairytale she had been enjoying had come to a decisive end. She couldn't just be a university student in Australia anymore, sleeping over at her boyfriend's house. As much as she wished to be anything but Asgardian, it just wasn't in the cards for her. Runa had spent the night basically just staring into the darkness, thinking over everything and wondering if this was her punishment for believing that she deserved happiness for just a second - to have it all and then have it swiftly taken away from her.

In the morning, her cousin didn't return either - another blow to her psyche. Had Klara remembered the monster Runa was in the real world and decided to run away? She wouldn't have blamed her if she had. Despite not having eaten in almost twenty four hours, she didn't have much of an appetite. Runa heard Lance ask her if she was okay, but her ears were ringing slightly, as if someone had stuck cotton in them in order to drown out noise. "I'm fine," she said softly, crossing her arms slightly. She didn't like that Klara hadn't returned and she was worried, so Runa walked off to an empty corner and performed a tracking spell, paling slightly as she saw the results. Her cousin was in the dungeons of King Erik's palace...

Meanwhile, Novikova was over near Barton and the others. She still had her glasses on, since she didn't really want to be bombarded with images of everyone's alternate lives. Some of these people she recognized and knew who they should have been - others, she had no idea about. There was a slightly charming, slightly clumsy young man who seemed to have the ability to create costumes. As silly as it sounded, that actually would have been a useful skill for a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent - instant disguises. "I can manipulate metal, so I'll go with the group fighting Magneto," Novikova said, stopping any pretense of Magneto being a king. Sure, she remembered both worlds but she knew which one was real. This one, as great as it was, was wrong.

"Maria should go on the stealth team," she then recommended. Her girlfriend had been trained by Barton himself in the art of stealth - she had heard stories about those lessons, with Hawkeye more or less popping up silently right behind her. Novikova didn't want to be separated from Maria, but they needed to play to their strengths. Tinley probably ought to go on the stealth group as well, just in case they encountered resistance, and since Magneto most likely had something on his person that would block out mind control.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Annie, Carolina and October’s Home -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette was up to her arms in paint. Literally. Her arms were covered in paint. After the night’s events, despite all the turmoil, she was hit with inspiration. Particularly with the colour red. She had her sketchbook laid out in front of her along with a canvas that was already outlined and she had started her painting process. Hair like fire rolled out in waves across the canvas but there were displacements in colour to break up all the obvious red. From the hair there was one bird in mid-flight, coming from the hair itself it seemed. It too was in various shades of red, orange and yellow. It was more commonly known as a Phoenix and it was rising from the woman’s hair as if it were ashes. The woman could be compared to Princess Wanda in likness and the bird was to symbolize new beginnings.
October came and gave Antoinette her morning kiss and Antoinette looked over, a far away look in her eyes until there was the mention of a hanging and corpses. ”Poke around? At what exactly. The palace isn’t open to the public twenty-four seven,” Antoinette noted. Hair fell into her face and she brushed it back behind her ear, leaving a trail of red and black across her cheek and into her very white blonde hair. She reached out, grabbing a glass of water and quickly rehydrated before she resumed work on her painting. It always amazed Antoinette how thirsty she got when simply painting.

Maximillian Gray

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills:
Conjuration, New Outfit

Max watched as Klara left, not saying much to her aside from “don’t sweat it” when she apologized. He could tell what she was going through, the process of now knowing who you are and what you were, the things you’ve done that could go against everything you stood for. It could be enough to make one wonder if such emotions and thoughts were truly inside of them, laying in wait for the moment to surface. His thoughts were broken once Lance had approached him, whether he was trying to be helpful, philosophical, or just talk was beyond Max. He simply smiled at the boy, tussling his hair before saying ”There are things in life that many don’t know, I didn’t know how close she was to him, and she didn’t care to know about me in the slightest. But just because she was unaware of the other reality, the other her, that I had kept warning her about...well it doesn’t excuse her actions either. My nose still broke, my life threatened countless times, and all after I saved one of her very own at the risk of my own existence. We all make mistakes and we all have to pay for them.”

Max then overheard Hawkeye, Alex, and Jade speaking about the who. They wanted answers more than blood now, good, and he would be hard pressed to say he didn’t feel the same. ”I may have a lead for you to follow Holmes. The other night, the way I had gained my memories of reality A, was that the Queen grasped my wrists and gave them to me. Naturally I wanted to find more of those like me, people who recalled and could potentially help set things right. So I used a locator spell in order to find others and i was able to find two people who were at the palace last night. One of them had a weak connection, it severed before I even saw their face or name. The other...The other was Wanda Maximoff, the daughter of Magneto. I approached her in confidence and wanted to ask for her aid, yet when I did so she seemed to act as if she knew nothing of this other reality. Either she is way too content to be in this place, or she’s hiding something. Whichever it is, it was clear to me she wouldn’t be of use, that’s when I ran into good old Alex here, recalled him from my past and chose to save him from execution. He may not of known of the other reality, but i was willing to place my life on his kind heart to do what was right, and so far he hasn’t let me down.” Max thought for a moment, pausing a bit to catch his breath. ”I can help with either part of the mission. I have a versatile set of powers to help get in and out for sluething, but I can definitely cause some chaos. I’ve burned a warehouse or so in my youth, so causing a racket at an execution? Shouldn’t be a huge deal.”

Allison Andrewss

Location: Allison and Oshea's Penthouse (Outfit)
Skills: N/A

Allison had not gone "home" with a clear conscious. After all, she was actively plotting against the royal family and in this reality, that was a big no-no. She was a member of the elite and seemed to reap the benefits as she soon realized when she went into her own penthouse apartment. There was a twinge of desire, she had to admit to herself. Maybe Guin was right. Maybe this was the better reality. Oshea was here. She had this gorgeous view.

And all it took was the continued enslavement and slaughter of the human race.

This was Magneto's dream incarnate. She was sure of it. If it wasn't him, it was someone who wanted to see his dream a reality and had enough power to do so. However, she had precious little time as, apparently, she had an execution to get to. "Just let me finish getting ready." She had opted for a shorter dress, in case she needed to run. She did her hair and make-up before exiting their room. "Ready when you are. Let's get this over with." She had ulterior motives, of course. What better place to investigate the royal family than their own execution party?

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Human Resistance HQ
Skills: N/A

Tinley had to admit she was thankful no one had taken her up on her offer of sacrifice. And Novikova had restored the memories of almost everyone in the resistance, so they had a force on their side now. She took the time to learn more about this reality, as much as she could muster. Public execution was...barbaric. She was not surprised though, given the amount of human hate she had witnessed.

She had an inkling that whoever was responsible for all of this had to have a large amount of power. And given the fact Magneto was placed above all others, it stood to reason he was target #1. That and it would deal a huge blow to stop the execution of innocents. "I'd like to go along with the stealth group. My skills will be better used there and I can be a back-up force in case things get dicey."

Anastasia Reinhardt

Location: Thieves Guild Jet
Skills: N/A

Ana had wanted to see bloodshed, but it seemed she would have to wait. The day came and went and she returned with a gusto, almost skipping into the jet as they made their way to their target. She thought of all the ways one could make a person cry until Gambit brought them together. She would have opted to not pair up with anyone, but given the fact it was most likely not an option, and that the weird spirit boy called "dibs" (childish as it was) on Jack and Bobbi, she looked over to Mary.

"I have a feeling our leader would like to be paired with Rogue, so I imagine that leaves us to be paired. Hope that is all right." Mary was not her least favorite person so it was of no concern to her to be working with her. She could prove useful, given all she knew of the girl.

Carolina Reed

]Location: The Palace - New York City, New York
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina hadn't really gotten to much sleep the night before, she was at her desk just drawing a little bit but she was also nodding off occasionally as well. She had a cup of coffee next to her as she looked around the art studio that they owned together the three of them, as she looked over at October and smiled softly. She returned the kiss and hugged Annie as well, before standing up and stretching a little bit. She also did try contacting her sister, but she wasn't able to at all either which was a little bit of a problem as well, but she knew that Cass was most likely fine as well. She looked over towards October and Annie as well when she mentioned the public execution which she didn't really like at all or even witnessing.

"Well for the executions it should be open since Magneto really does like putting on a show for the whole world to see. And also to find out who changed reality here as well." Carolina said to her friend, as she looked towards October once more a part of her really did not want this reality changed she had everything she could ever wanted. And she was married to the love of her life, however she was dead in their own reality as well which she didn't mention yet either. "And since we did save the Queen's life, they could let us in easily as well to." Carolina said softly.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills:

Cassandra leaned back in the chair that she had been sitting in, looking at the others in the Human Resistance, it was good that they all were able to remember the main reality. And they would be able to hopefully try and fix things, as she leaned forward listening to the plan to attack the Palace during the public execution. She looked over towards Novikova opting to go on the group to attack Magneto, and his forces, and suggesting Maria go as well, and Tinley as well offering to join the stealth team. She took a moment also and looked at Max she still wasn't really sure what to think of him, but since he was in the palace before he could be useful.

"I suggest Harry Potter go on the stealth team and we can try and bust the prisoners out who arent up for execution today." She suggested Cassandra was also worried about her sister, she hadn't contacted her since yesterday and she left her phone in the quinjet as well, sighing slightly and leaned back and looked over towards the window. "I can go on the assault team, And I am tougher to take down as well to. I could also give us cover since we are in winter right now I can try and give us some blizzard conditions, so that it could hide us getting inside, unless we are all sling ringing in?"

Maria Smith

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills: N/A

Maria looked over towards Novikova for a moment when she opted her to go on the stealth team, sure her skillset was a little more tailored towards stealth missions, but she was also more than capable on taking the frontal assault approach as well. She knew that Novikova was also capable on fighting as well, she did make a good point as well. "I don't mind going on the stealth team." Maria said though she worked better with her girlfriend as well. She looked towards Hawkeye for a moment when he mentioned about Klara she hadn't seen her either since the night before.

She wasn't sure what had happened to her either, but since they were in New York the heart of Magneto's little kingdom assumed that something bad may have happened to her. "We should assume that she may have gotten picked up last night or something. But that's just my theory though." Maria said softly as she leaned back a little bit and looked towards Tinley when she said she would be joining them as well.

Niah Bautista

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills: N/A

Niah spent the night trying to rest, and sort her thoughts. Things were a jumble in her mind and she knew she remembered more than others. She had seen more than most of them. There were people missing from their ranks too. People she had risked everything to bring back. Doctor Strange's warning about messing with time came back to her and she knew that this situation was her fault. This was the bigger threat. Her memories were still too much for her to figure out exactly when this was. She couldn't remember the last thing she had been doing before coming here. But Dr. Banner was here, and so was his son, which meant that much had been successful. Novikova was alive too. Her heart and mind heavy she didn't sleep well, but she woke and found the rest of her team.

"I'll join the stealth team." She said, "My skills are a bit better for that." She thought of the raid on the bank, and of course the mission into Wakanda that went so badly. Bonnie. God, there was so much blood on her hands, even if it was indirect, it was her fault. At least Raynor wasn't here to imply that. Her voice was soft, lacking the carelessness that it had carried before her memories had been restored. The carelessness that had been gone in "reality a" since she was a teen. She hadn't tried to contact her sister, a death that wasn't her fault but when the world was restored would be. Niah couldn't bring herself to speak with her sister and pretend things were okay and normal and that she wasn't making the choice to kill her and God knew how many others. Was it worth it? She had spent so much time after the Ultron incident trying to fix the world, and now Flynn of all people was a prince and dating Sapphire...who they had abandoned in Australia.

James Kingston

Location: The Palace
Skills: None

James stayed silent most of the way to the palace, not particularly looking forward to the executions. While the previous members of his unit believed he enjoyed murder for the sake of murder, it was quite the opposite. Senseless murder exhausted him. The only pleasure he got from the loss of life was that of a job well done, of all the pieces falling into place with each life ended. The fall back plan with the Banner project served to further alienate him from his support, including his son, and ease the way for the next attempt. These executions? Nothing but death after death after death with nothing to show for them. Their lives brought him no satisfaction or dissatisfaction in life, why should their deaths be any different.

“It may well be.” James acknowledged Sapphire’s comment. “I believe the likelihood of their success far outweighs our ability to combat them but also long as we get a trace on them, it will be worth it. We should take the chance to slip a shapeshifter into their midst in the confusion.” James mused, side eyeing Mystique. As usual, she dropped an information bomb at the last moment, making a grand exit behind Sapphire as James rolled his eyes. Nevertheless, he was intrigued. The woman who attacked a bound man struggling to figure out what the fuck was going on did not match up with someone aimlessly wandering the streets. He nodded his goodbye to Agent Watts and made his way down into the cells to find the woman.

“How interesting. Out wandering the streets with no protection? What were you thinking?” James asked when he arrived, sincere confusion evident in his expression. First impression did not suggest aimless wanderer on their brief meeting.

”Trust me, fairly certain I’m going to get a lecture about it later knowing me, but you know, the world is screwed up and all which I didn’t know during our last encounter. So apologies for blasting you backwards,” Klara responded, looking over at him. “Not to mention someone essentially even knowing I didn’t know about the other real world basically insulted me in probably the worst way possible so I didn’t really want to stay anywhere near him at the moment…”

"I'd rip into you too if I was them. You're an idiot." James shook his head in disappointment. A slight against her? No insult, regardless of its severity, was enough to put everything she had worked for at risk like this. “But I’m not here to lecture you. I’m sure your comrades will do that plenty once they’ve secured you. Likely at great personal cost to them but I guess sacrifices must be made. Another thing for you to brood about.” James looked around for a chair, dragging one over and sitting in front of her cell. He watched her carefully for a moment, considering his options.

“The world is all screwed up? That’s nothing new. The King wants to launch research into Dr. Banner’s original experiments, we kill people for no reason other than to draw out resistances with no results, and yet we are now just figuring out the world is a mess? Unless you’re referring to my recent coworkers your organization stole and their inane idea that this is some wrong world we all have a full life of memories of.” James sat back, hands clasped together as he fiddled his thumbs. “So explain this all to me. Satisfy my curiosity and I’ll reduce the casualties your forces suffer during your rescue.”

”I was referring to the part about another reality that your co workers believed to be real, as now do I. I’ll admit, I didn’t believe them at first, one of the main reasons I wasn’t in the best mood at all, but then one of them restored my memories, and now I remember the other world perfectly. As for them coming after me, that would be assuming that they even know I’m here, I kind of took off without saying a word about where I was going. You also say no insult should result in me storming off? Well how about someone essentially telling me that I essentially am the worst and that I tarnish my father’s name, who in this reality has been dead for a while… However in the real world he is very much alive still.” Klara didn’t even really look at him at the moment, she was more of glancing over at a wall, just looking at it, her mind racing, and she clearly was thinking about things.

“Is your other self niave or just stupid? You commandeered several shield agents and our files have you listed as a known resistance agent. Do you really believe you aren’t bait? Even if they don’t know now, they’ll see you when they arrive. Or someone who looks like you at least.” James sighed. Someone insulted her father and so she stormed off. He rolled his eyes and sighed. “My condolences for your loss then. This other world, is it better than this one? Are things between the races better? Your newest additions seem intent on ignoring this world in favor of that one for some reason.”

”In the other world I’m not even from Midgard,” she responded to the first part of his question, and it was obvious from that wording that she was Asgardian in the other world. ”I think the other world is far better than this one… For one, my father is still alive, however it is more than just that. Like King Erik? He’s not actually the king of the world, he’s a terrorist and mutants are the minority, not the majority, and he constantly from what I’ve heard tries to take over the world at least every other week.”

“The Human Resistance is considered a terrorist group here. The King’s actions in an alternate reality sounds suspiciously like humans here.” James shrugged off the accusation. James didn’t know much about Asgardians other than a few notable figures and that they lived on another world but from his point of view, they seemed rather unstoppable. The other reality everyone seemed to place their faith in sounded like a mirror of this one, a reality where humans reigned rather than mutants. “Well, its no matter. This business of worlds and realities doesn’t seem to have anything to do with me. You’r resistance group however has someone I want. What if we strike a deal? You for Dr. Banner. You have several shield agents under your control so you could likely launch a rescue effort for him as well and I can quit this moronic organization once and for all.”

”Oh please, fairly certain they aren’t going to strike that deal at all, just saying. I mean, after all the trouble that they went through, I mean really… Most of the people there now don’t even actually know who I am, so why would they do a thing like that?” She asked with a slight laugh. It was intriguing to her that James thought that the group would do something like that, but she knew enough to know that the odds were they weren’t going to, especially since to most of the group she was a complete stranger, aside from those who already had been with the resistance and had their memories of the real world now.

“No but you have a connection to Banner and that’s the only link I need. Put pressure on your cousin who stresses out Lance who accidently puts pressure on the green monster.” James shrugged. “Banner’s big green friend is always the way to secure the good doctor. Like I said before, a pile of bodies often makes people think differently. But I agree with you, it won’t happen. As much as I’d like an easy retirement.” James tapped his foot repeatedly, considering his options. “I need more information about this and you’re my only link right now. I’ll make you a deal then. You have someone who can restore memories? I’ll help you and your little resistance here in exchange for you person restoring mine.”

”You’d help me, just because you want to know what’s going on? Please, you are definitely an interesting one aren’t you? Not to mention you were mean to my cousin last night from what I can tell. Besides, why in all of Midgard would you help me, and potentially destroy your own life in the process? Since you have to remember, if we are unable to right the wrong and fix reality, we are all stuck in this one.”

“If that’s what you think, then you haven’t been paying attention.” James already told her he’d kill just to stress Banner’s connections, he’d already pointed out his dissatisfaction with the regime’s methods, and pointed out he found little issues with this reality and she couldn’t put the pieces together. No wonder she ran like a child at the slightest hit to her pride. James would raze a city to ensure the job was done. James would usurp the monarchy if necessary to get his hands on Banner. He made plans, he worked plans, and he got the job done but when so many new variables enter the equation, he needed more information to move forward. Understanding the delusion these fools were under would help with that. “Help for memories. That’s the deal.” James repeated, a bored look creeping over his face.

”Problem is I can’t make that deal, since I’m not afraid to die you know. Not to mention how do I know I can trust you, and how do I know that you won’t just use that chance to essentially turn all of us in? So no, there is no deal, since yes, I too would prefer there not to be any bloodshed if necessary, however, I don’t think that’s going to be avoidable in any sort of situation.”

"Suit yourself." James said, standing. He put the chair back where he found it and turned to look at her again, smiling cordially. "Living is what you should be afraid of, Klara. Death is the easy way out. After all, you aren't going to die." He nodded and headed out, heading to find where he was supposed to be.

Michelle Diggby

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills: N/A

Michelle continued to refuse to be shown her true life, part because she still had doubts and part because she was worried about what could actualy be found. Michelle's shaky relationship with identity itself meant what ever she was shown might be very carefully curated, it was entirely possible they'd diverged so much only childhood memories prior to her gaining her powers could be relied upon.

Michelle attempted to commit her thoughts to paper, but it was a mess. Random, scattered ideas littered the page, uncharacteristic of her usual style of writing, but ther was so much to say and no way of know what to put down first. She, A Red Guard, chasing turncoats into the belly of the human hate machine to find out who was manipulating reality. She let it spill out in the book, ink captured deep in the fibres for future Michelle to examine and draw conclusions and enlightenment from and present Michelle could rest.

She snuck back to her bunk, careful to not disturb any of the shiv weilding mutophobics. Michelle was fortunate in that one regard, that you couldn't determine she was of the superior race without her say so. A little smirk crawled across her face as she rolled in, relieved of her moral and ethical quandries and ready for a good night sleep.

Madison, Washington Avenue. 7ft in the air. Dad's short hair between her fingers. Marching through the bitter winter night, chanting to keep the cold at bay. She was having fun making noise with them, more fun than others. This was serious for them, they were here to send a message, here to be heard. You could tell by their faces. Some of them had signs, Daddy had a sign. Michelle couldn't make them out, not even the one dad handed her. It was Michelle's dream, but she was a mere passenger and the dream compelled her to hold it up. A roar from the crowd, a sense of pride and belonging filled her.

She was going to say it.

"Fuck off Muti-"

Michelle woke with a start, nearly braining herself on the top bunk, the someone else's flithy words still on her tongue. Her sudden movements hadn't appeared to have disturbed anyone, except one in a distant bottom bunk. In the dark all she could make out was a pair of eyes, glistening dully in the reflected light of the moon. They bobbed almost inpercievably, as she nodded slowly. Atleast she was making friends.

Sitting with her accordion had cleared her head somewhat of her bizarre dreams that plagued her sleep. Individually they were manageable, but the reoccuring themes across all of them felt like more than just a coincidence. This was beyond her remit, Michelle told herself she couldn't absorb Novikova's powers by osmosis and so the dreams were just that, dreams. That horrendous imaginary world existed only in her imagination, a manifestation of her own fear of the real unknown world.

Breathe Michelle, we're getting to the bottom of this.

The Palace

Pietro just stared at Guin, a bit confused by what it was that she was saying. Wanda changing the world? He knew his sister well, and he didn't even think she could pull that off. Why would she even want to? He believed her about the whole thing of someone changing the world, but he just couldn't believe that Wanda would do that at all. "...I believe you Guina but... Someone else has to be behind it, Wanda would never do that at all! She wouldn't have a reason to!" It was obvious he was defensive and protective of his sister, and odds were that Guin wouldn't be able to tell him otherwise about her changing the world.

With the Red Guard and James finished with his conversation with Klara, they were led into a side room with a table that had a spread out of the Palace grounds on it. "Well the Palace guards were kind enough to loan us a map of the grounds, so we know where the execution will be and where the majority of the resistance group will be should they actually make an appearance. But odds are that they will. Now, we need to keep an eye on the crowd, since they might see about merging into the group in order to blend in. So if you see anyone else acting suspicious, do not hesitate to go and investigate," she said, before a door opened, and in walked Flynn.

"So, you all are planning what to do?"

"Yes, we were just mentioning where we'd need to be or where we'd likely need to keep an eye on things in case the rebels appear," she said, before giving the prince a kiss on the cheek

"Yeah, well just let us know, as there will be a few other guards around, with quite a few keeping an eye on things in the Palace should anyone actually decide to intrude during the execution. I'll be keeping an eye out on the crowd and such too, as I'll be there, as well as my brother, so we can help out in a pinch if need be."

"I thought you two wished to investigate?" October asked, a bit confused as Annie asked what they would be poking around at. "I highly doubt that someone will give you permission to investigate them for a crime - so you'll have to do it anyways if you're really keen on it..." She gave her wife another kiss. "If anyone encounters you inside the Palace, you can simply tell them you were fetching me supplies from the infirmary. Now I must go, you are welcome to come if you wish but I can't be late to an execution I need to attend!" she said, before taking each one of them by the hand and heading out the door.

Oshea gave Allison a bit of a smile, "Yeah, it definitely is better to get things over with real quick, it'll be about another 15 minutes or so before it starts, but odds are there is already a crowd of some sort there," he said, before he picked her up in his arms and gave her a kiss. With that, he raced her to the Palace. He wasn't kidding when he said that there probably would already be a crowd of sorts at the Palace. There was a large crowd already on the grounds of the Palace, and there were chairs of sorts and bleachers almost in the larger area nearby the lake of sorts on the grounds. "Let's go find some seats then I guess, we as usual get what tends to be called "the best seats in the house" but honestly I hate it, who would want to sit around and watch someone die?" he added, before leading her to the area where they'd be, and it looked like the princess Wanda was already in the area.

The Human Resistance HQ

"The uh, the other guy... He wants to snap Magneto like a toothpick," Dr. Banner said, a bit awkwardly, as he rubbed the back of his neck. "The Hulk isn't good for stealth anyways so... chaos it is."

"Let's go then," Barton said. "I'll be with assault, in order to get numbers." He didn't make any comments about the usefulness of a bow and arrow next to the Hulk, but hey, he was an Avenger and the leader of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team the Secret Warriors in the real world. He was capable of more than people knew.

Jade smirked slightly, seeing that her team was the most popular choice so far. "Fucking ace. Now unless Lucifer himself shows up, should be smooth sailing inside the Palace." She then looked at Alex for a moment and slapped him, then gave him a kiss. "In anticipation of you doing some dumb shit, luv," she explained.

"Why do you automatically assume I'm going to do something stupid! I've been trying to actively not do that!" he said with a slight eye roll, but he was chuckling slightly.

"Do you want me to list off all the reasons? We'd be here all day if I did."

"Wow, so nice to me Jade!" he said, shaking his head, before looking at the others, "Going with combat, and honestly, going to point out one major flaw with this plan of yours so far. Not the whole, splitting into groups thing, that's the smart idea, but the whole point of "stealth" is to have a small group go, since the larger the group, the more likely it is you'll get caught. Sure, Magneto is all for putting on a show, but do you really think he's dumb enough to leave the Palace unguarded? No, he's not that stupid, so if you all go you are likely going to get caught."

Barton nodded. "Magic the Gathering, you're on the assault team."

Lance wasn't even paying much attention to what was going on around him. He seemed to be tunnel visioning on Runa, and he could tell that she wasn't telling the full truth it would seem. "Runa... It'll be okay... Don't worry," he said to her, before he gave her a hug, something that he didn't really do ever for anyone. Even if she didn't want a hug, he felt like she needed one, so he was totally expecting her to push him away. "I'm sure you're cousin is fine..."

Gambit smirked at Rogue slightly, ignoring Casper's question about Ayita and Richard - though the phrase Incest Twins did give him a bit of a chuckle. It was an apt description of those two and he was honestly glad that a family emergency had come up, preventing them from coming. "Ma colombe," he whispered in Rogue's ear, before gently biting down on her earlobe slightly, fully expecting to get smacked over the head. "Oh, mes amis... I forgot ta mention... We ain't gonna land the plane - we're jumpin' out of it," he said, grabbing a parachute for Rogue and then one for himself.

True to expectations, Rogue smacked him across the face with a bit of an eye roll, before looking at the parachute he had handed her and let out a laugh. "Remy, ya forgot, I don' need no parachute!" she said with another laugh, before handing the parachute over to Mary and opening the door of the jet and just jumping out already.

"....Whatever mon amie!"

"Are you sure this is even a good idea Remy?" Mary asked him, looking at the parachute now. To her this was insane, but it did help her to keep her mind off of the fact that she was paired up with Ana of all people.

Gambit smiled at his sister, looking carefree as he winked at her in response and then jumped out of the plane.

"...Guess that answers that question... This still seems dumb to me, but whatever..." she said with a shrug, putting the parachute on and jumping out of the plane as well.

Jack was a little less sure of this entire thing, and there is one thing Casper would definitely remember from growing up with his little brother; Jack had a major fear of heights. Maybe that was why he sort of gravitated towards the underground life with the Morlocks? Who knows, what really mattered was that at the moment, he was somewhat panicking about everything that was going on. "...I'm not so sure about this..." he muttered under his breath, glancing over at the others. There were definitely plenty of parachutes for the group to use.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit - Day 2)
Skills: Telepathy
Guin was shocked that he believed her - he didn't even really question the notion that the world had been changed. Was it because he loved her? Or had she been too hard on Allison earlier with all of the questions and desire for proof? She blinked slightly, not really sure what to say - but then it turned out he didn't believe her entirely. He didn't think that his sister was capable of such a thing. "I don't know what her motives were but... I found evidence of a major energy spike occurring yesterday, here in New York. The signature was chaos energy... Wanda's specialty..."

Her mind then darted back to what Allison had said about the other world. "If I were to guess why she did it though... It was to make our lives better. In the real world, humanity treats mutants like garbage... Your father is a terrorist, not a king..."

"No, Wanda wouldn't do something like that I'm fairly sure..."

She sighed slightly. This was going to be hard, convincing Pietro of the facts. It wasn't that he was dumb - it was simply that her fiancĂŠ operated based on emotions rather than logic. His overprotective nature contributed to the conundrum as well and unless Wanda confessed, Guin doubted that she would be able to convince him. She would have to try. "All of the evidence points towards her."

"No, no way, she wouldn't cause this!"

"She did, Pietro...." Guin thought gently.

"No."

Maybe she would need to try a different approach here. "Okay, then she should have no problem talking to us about this and helping us get to the bottom of things." If Wanda was guilty, then this psychological ploy most likely would get her to confess. And if she wasn't, who better than a master of chaos magic to help them find the truth?

"Maybe..."

"I'm going to talk to her."

"...Okay..."

She shut her eyes and concentrated for a moment. There were so many people at the Palace currently for the execution that it took her a few tries to sort through all of their thoughts, but she eventually located Wanda - she was outside. Guin then opened her eyes and she looked at Pietro. She wished that he believed her on this, but she needed to go talk to Wanda about this before Allison and the others could. She felt she should say something to him, but she didn't really know what, so she headed outside to go find Wanda. Pietro had fallen silent and followed after her.

Casper Theriot

Location: Thieves Guild Jet -> the Ground - Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Things were relatively uneventful on the jet - until the topic of landing came up. Casper actually looked a bit excited at the prospect of jumping out of a plane. He had seen it in so many movies and he always wondered what it would have been like. By contrast, his brother was visibly terrified. Thinking for a moment, he knew what he had to do. Sure, his main goal was to sabotage this mission but right now his brother needed him. "Here, Jackie," he said, handing him a parachute. He took one for himself. "Now on the count of three, we're going to jump, okay?" he paused.

"Don't do what I think you're going to..." Ben muttered, but he knew Casper wouldn't listen to him. Casper never listed to anyone.

"One...Two...," Casper counted, before suddenly shoving his brother off of the plane. He knew that Jack wasn't going to jump even on the count of three - his brother was many things and a coward when it came to heights was one of them. Casper then jumped out of the plane as well, trying to grab his brother's hand to calm him but he couldn't quite get a hold of him. He was lucky though - his parachute worked properly and he landed on the ground, feeling exhilarated - and fully expecting his brother to puke.

"That was mean, Casper!"

"You know he wouldn't have jumped otherwise, Ben!" Casper complained. He glanced around, seeing the others landing, as well as the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility up ahead. He had to wonder how they were going to break into it - hopefully no one would come out and try to kill them. While Casper wanted the mission to be a failure, he didn't want people to die.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York -> The Palace Grounds
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Runa hesitated for a moment, not expecting Lance to hug her. He knew that her cousin was Thor's daughter, so he knew that she was Asgardian and that she had been lying to him all of this time. She had to assume there was a chance he realized who exactly she was - the myths hadn't been kind to her on Midgard. It made her wish for Klara's minor problem of being noted as a water goddess - at least no one marked her birth as being another step towards Ragnarok, the end of Asgard. No one compared Klara to Fenrir, Hel, or JĂśrmungandr. "... He has Klara in the Palace dungeons," Runa said quietly.

"...It'll be alright Runa, we can go after her..."

"I-I can't let her down... I can't let her die thinking she's the stain on the House of Odin when... when..." her chin was wobbling and she couldn't finish her thought.

"It's okay Runa... We'll help her, okay?"

She nodded. It made sense to her that he wouldn't have any problems wanting to help Klara - everyone loved Klara. Sure, Klara wasn't anywhere as popular as Runa's father (he was called Baldur the Beautiful for a reason) but she was universally adored - the daughter of Thor and Lady Sif, future ruler of Asgard.

"...Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Runa sniffled, pulling her sling ring from her pocket. She was far enough away from the main group that she wasn't aware of their plans and even if she had been, she would have done this anyways. Klara couldn't wait.

"It doesn't sound like you are..." he said softly, giving her a smile.

She took a shaky breath and she rubbed her eyes dry on her sleeve. "Maybe I need one of Idunn's apples," she mumbled, before she started concentrating on the location she had seen - the Palace dungeons - and she drew a circle in the air in front of her, trying to open up a portal. Instead of getting to the dungeons though, the portal led to the Palace grounds and was fortunately concealed by some trees. Runa walked through without hesitation.

Lance glanced back behind him, looking over at the others, before he turned back around and followed Runa through the portal. "So, now what do we do?"

"We find my cousin..."
Realizing that they were lopsided towards stealth, Novikova took Maria's hand. "If you take on some of my powers, you could probably cause some serious damage," Novikova said quietly. Hopefully Maria would absorb her earth and metal manipulating abilities, rather than the multiverse defying eyesight. She didn't have a spare pair of her glasses on her at the moment and it would be awful if one of them had to go around with their eyes closed because of it. However, she then noticed that Lance and Runa took off via sling ring. "... Guess we're driving then. I can take a car's worth of people," she volunteered.

"Go, cars are parked in the garage," Barton told her, tossing her a set of keys and motioned in the direction of the garage. She nodded and caught them with ease, heading on over and she clicked the key fob to unlock the car, noticing one in the far corner start to flash. Heading on over to it, Novikova got into the driver's seat and buckled up, waiting for her car to fill up with passengers. Hopefully these would be the people intending on causing a scene at the Palace - allowing those wanting to infiltrate stealthily to go on their own and not be associated with them.

"Ни пу́ха, ни пера́. – К чёрту," she muttered underneath her breath in one of her native tongues.

Bobbi grinned at getting called dibs upon. She wasn't used to such niceties. And though Casper and she were on friendly terms, perhaps even friends, she could not claim such a unique interest in working with her. She shrugged it off and instead concentrated on honing her strength as well as making connections with the void. She hoped that in concentrating herself on it well before needing it would allow her an easier time collecting an item she might in the future require.

And then the topic of discussion turned to how they would leave the plane. Her face lit up like it was Christmas morning. "Coo-ee!" she exclaimed with real enthusiasm. "I ain't jumped outta no plane since... Well... It's been a good long while fo' sho'!" Her eyes sparkled as she retrieved her parachute and strapped it on properly. She also helped to ensure the others were properly wearing their own gear before they left the plane.

At long last, she took the leap and relished the delight of free-fall. Her stomach lurched to her throat and her whoop of joy was lost in the rush of the wind. She let herself fall a little further than the others before opening her parachute. She hit the ground a bit hard but then rolled to a standing position. Bobbi removed her gear before setting about helping anyone else who needed it. "Let's all do dat again!"

Agent Waverley Watts - Feedback

Location: The Palace
Skills:

Agent Watts stood amongst her colleagues in that small room, her eyes glued down on the large laid out map of the palace. Her lips were curved down in a small, serious frown as her eyes scanned the drawn out geography before her. Her posture was militant, standing completely straight, without any sort of hunching over or shifting her weight from foot to foot. Her hands held onto one another behind her back, causing her unbuttoned suit jacket to occasionally bristle and reveal a hint of some sort of handgun in a chest holster. Her dyed purple hair was slicked back into a tight bun on the back of her head with an abundant amount of product that caused it to shine slightly when hit by light.

“There are a few things I could do,” she said, her eyes flicking up to Sapphire. ”I could stand guard at the execution site and see if I can intercept any communications that might go on within the crowd. I could also patrol the perimeter, and see if I pick up anything there,” She began, before glancing back down at the map for a moment. “Alternatively, I could instead use our drones to get a bird’s eye view of the area. In fact, I could do that while standing guard at the execution site, but my focus would be on keeping the drones in the air,” She then looked back up to her superior. “What will it be, Agent Clarke?”

Carolina Reed

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York
Skills: N/A

Carolina looked towards October and smiled softly when she kissed her back, and nodded slightly thinking it would be a good plan then for now and act more like assistants while her wife went to do the whole autopsy thing on the bodies. "Sounds like a good plan to me then." Carolina said with a soft smile and looked towards Annie, she hoped that she could bump into Miranda and hopefully have her restore her best friend's memories as well when they got there. She gripped October's hand a little bit tighter, she hadn't told her everything she had talked to Miranda about yet either.

Carolina started to make her way over towards October's car and once she unlocked the door quickly got into the front passenger's seat and sat down as she strapped herself in. She leaned back in the seat as she took her phone out for a moment having her sister's number there for a moment, as she thought about calling her as well. She wasn't even sure if her sister knew about the real world either as well as she played with the idea of trying to make the phone call.

Cassandra Reed

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills:

Cassandra didn't like the idea of having so many people going on the stealth mission, they did need more of their heavy hitters on the team to assault the palace. She looked towards Dr. Banner and nodded towards him, knowing that it would be really hard to take down the raging green monster. She was ready to go out and try and save these people from being killed, as she thought about what else to do as well. She took a moment and noticed that Lance and Runa were both gone as well, sighing a little bit and shook her head slightly having a feeling where they were at now.

"They will probably be monitoring call forms of communication along with telepaths, as well so we should be careful what we say." Cassandra also suggested, she followed shortly behind Novikova as well and made her way towards the van, as she opened up the door and climbed up into the back seat and leaned back. Looking over towards Novikova for a moment and gave her fellow agent a slight nod as they waited for everyone else to get into the car as well.

Maria Smith

Location: Human Resistance HQ, New York
Skills: Power Absorption (Novikova's Earth Manipulation)

Seeing as there was a number of people going on the stealth team, she shook her head slightly there was to many there and she could be more useful while on the offense. "I'll go on the offense instead." Maria said, as the others started to pick their teams and looked over towards Lance and Runa as she noticed that they were gone now as well. Which made her groan slightly since they were probably out to save Runa's cousin. Maria quickly went over to grab her bow and quiver of arrows strapping them over her back, smiling slightly as she had her weapon of choice with her now. She followed shortly behind Novikova and Cassandra as well as they made their way towards the car and quickly crawled into the front passenger seat.

Maria looked towards Novikova for a moment as she offered to take her abilities and nodded slightly, she had enough practice in this reality that she didn't have to use gloves anymore and avoid making any kind of skin contact all together. "Alright then, if you need to let me drive or feel like passing out I can drive." Maria said softly as she leaned forward and gave Novi a loving kiss and gently held onto her hand. Knowing that another side effect of her power, it tended to hurt them as well either making them unconscious for awhile or making them tired or sick. Feeling some of her girlfriend's power coursing through her now and leaned back looking over at her didn't see any other kind of realities which was good.

Maximillian Gray

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York.
Skills:
Conjuration, New Outfit

Max would be lying if he said he wasn’t even a little shocked that nobody followed up with the information that he just gave out. He was even more thrown when he heard from multiple people suggesting that a kid known for causing chaos would be on the stealth team, but if that was the route they wanted to take, then he would play along. His head turned at the Harry Potter comment, a tad confused asking ”Is that supposed to be me?” followed shortly by a Magic the Gathering reference where he placed his hands on his hips exclaiming ”Ok, you guys are definitely talking about me.” A defeated sigh escaped him as he gave way for the nicknames to pour in, they hardly cared to do introductions before, what would make today any different? Max overheard Maria and Miss “I have a name that i wont share” talking about power absorbtion. Now that was handy. Max began to wonder how many she could hold at once, as well as to its limitations. If they could have two players, one on each team, with the power to conjure, then that would potentially make things easier. Whether by wreaking more Havok or actually using them appropriately would be up to the weilders and Lady Luck.

Well this was all a bad idea. Max understood that stopping an execution was the right thing to do, but he also understood that they were infiltrating a house of mutants with a handful of normies, and that could be a massacre. Never the less, he reluctantly began to make his way towards the vehicles, turning to the Hulk and just smiling at him. ”They say you should never meet your hero’s, but I’ve got to say, meeting 3 of you today that...well they’re probably right. Be safe out there big guy and for the green man inside, Hulk, smash.” He wasn’t sure if any of the deaths that may occur in this reality would transfer over to the main one, nor was he looking forward to the answer. ”Alright, it seems we should take two vehicles, one for stealth and one for assault. Maria, I overheard that you have the ability to absorb someone’s powers, if you can take more than one with out drawbacks to anyone including yourself, i suggest you take some of mine. Aside from that we can expect Pietro to be in the Palace, he’s an incredible speedster and if you get the chance to take his speed then I’d do so, you’ll need someone who can go toe to toe with him. Aside from that stay safe, don’t be stupid and...Avengers, Assemble.” Damn that felt cool!
