James Kingston

Location: The Palace Grounds
Skills: N/A

James contemplated the map, leaning on the table slightly as he considered their options. He quite liked Agent Watt’s suggestion of maintaining visuals through drones. It would allow them to coordinate hairpin reactions rather than waiting for communications in the event of the inevitable distraction. As for him, he tended to work well without a hundred other agents with him. He knew how to blend into the background relatively well so he’d play to his strengths. He looked up at the group, his face expressionless.

“I’ll do a sweep through the crowd and then patrol the prisoner’s route. It shouldn’t be hard to keep myself undetected while everyone’s attention is focused on the prisoner’s and I’ll take an ear piece so Agent Watts can reach me when necessary.” James suggested, following Watt’s lead and waiting for confirmation. “Whenever prisoner’s are moving is when they are most vulnerable and if they value their allies’ lives rather than making a political statement, they’ll take them when they have the least risk of failure and injury. Have the guards been briefed on the defected Agents and their abilities?”

Allison Andrewss

Location: The Palace (Outfit)
Skills: N/A

Allison had followed Oshea as they arrived at the Palace. She had butterflies in her stomach, deciding on what she should do. She ran the risk of her own demise if she stopped the execution herself, but there was no way she was going to sit there and watch people die. Not when their only crime was being human and trying to stop whatever this was.

Perhaps Guin had some points. Mutants were not treated kindly in the other reality, that much was true. And she knew if Magneto had his way, this would happen in that reality. But that was not her ideal. Not her goal. This was not why she joined the X-Men. She wanted co-existence. Humans and Mutants alike working together. She knew they were not anywhere near close to that happening, but she also knew that they were not close to this reality also. So she would keep trying to figure out how to return things to how they were. For better or worse, it was their reality. Their home.

As she sat down, she saw Wanda. Or she guessed it was Princess Wanda. As she made her way over and sat down next to the girl, Allison was hit with a vision. She witnessed the events in the next few moments. What would really occur during the execution? If her vision was true, she had precious few minutes to do anything. She glanced at Wanda again, knowing how her vision connected a few dots. Princess Wanda. Good to see you. Have you been well?" Pleasantries over, she leaned over to whisper to Oshea. "Oshea, love, I have to tell you something and you have to promise me you'll listen with an open mind. I just had a vision. In the next couple of minutes, this execution is going to be stopped by a group. Whatever is going on here is not real. I won't force you, but I need for you not to fight back against them. If you want to aid in getting innocents to safety, that is fine. I will explain everything when we have more time, but I am being serious and trusting you to do what I know you know is the right decision." She pecked him on the cheek and leaned back, waiting for Wanda's response and the eventual future to come.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: Human Resistance HQ
Skills: N/A

Tinley was not used to being in a position where she was not the one giving orders, but this was new territory for her. She knew she had to help though. If what she had read and understood about this reality, they would be saving lives and, hopefully, finding out who put them all here and for what purpose. The teams having been, more or less, assembled, she glanced over at Max. The boy seemed to have leadership tendencies, though she had thought he had joined this group recently too.

"Not to step on toes, but wouldn't it make more sense to have Max, or Magic the Gathering as you say, on the stealth team? He has portal magic that could help, plus he has seen inside the dungeon. Just a suggestion though. As long as we have balanced, strong teams that's all that matters." She followed the others on her team to their vehicle.

She got in and settled herself amongst her new team. It was weird, but it still felt good, like SHIELD. She missed it. She never thought she would be away and now that she was, it was like a small hole had been taken out. The Red Guard didn't compare. Hell, she hoped they were there at the mansion so she could show what an Inhuman can do.

Anastasia Reinhardt

Location: Thieves Guild Jet -> In the Sky!
Skills: N/A

Ana ignored the fact Mary had not addressed her. In fact, it was probably for the best since Ana didn't really care if the girl was ok with it or not. She had every intention of "losing" her and going off on her own anyway. And if she couldn't do that, then it wouldn't disrupt anything. After all, her main goal was that crown. If it was as described, it was a powerful object and one she didn't intend on selling to the highest bidder. As much as she wished for a lavish lifestyle of her very own, she knew it was a matter of time before that happened. She just had to be patient.

Ana clapped giddily, hearing about their exit from the plane. "Oh what a rush! I've always wanted to do this." She quickly grabbed a parachute and put it on as a few others jumped. She saw Casper push his brother out of a plane, Jack being VERY resistant to it. She chuckled. "Nice one, cherie. Well, let's get to it." She ran off the end and jumped, feeling the wind blow through her hair as she fell to the ground with the others. As she got lower, the pulled the cord and drifted lightly to the ground, maneuvering towards the others. After landing, she took off her chute and tossed it to the side. "I agree. That was a hell of a way to enter my first heist."

"Look kid, you really need to get your vision checked," Wolverine grunted towards Max as he got into one of the cars. "First of all, you do realize that this group is mostly made of SHIELD agents, Barton included, and only two Avengers, so honestly saying that really corny line is kind of dumb, Secondly, you don't need speed to beat a speedster. Why is it that that is everyone's first thought? All ya gotta do is out smart the guy, and trust me, it ain't that hard to trick Quicksilver... I still remember running through him with my claws more then once. Damn speedsters always heal quickly."

Barton sighed slightly, hearing what Tinley had said. "If you want Max on the stealth team, I need you to recommend someone to switch over to assault. We have too many people on stealth as it is, which ideally should be no more than four people. Cornish has to go, she's leading it and the entire reason the stealth team needs to operate, and then with Max that means you have two other spots. Either fill them or just take your orders and go forward, Abercrombie." He was a little bit frustrated with all of this - mostly since people didn't really seem to be grasping the concept of how a stealth team needed to be small, plus Max struck him as chaotic and the boy seemed really happy about his achievements in setting warehouses on fire. Barton didn't even know if he could create portals - just because he could conjure things and do magic didn't mean his skill level was there yet.

Banner's eyes narrowed at Max's comments. "Kid, if you met the Hulk - your hero - you'd be dead." He took a slight deep breath, mumbling a few things in the universe he could appreciate as he realized his son was gone with a stranger. Sure, Lance had been in love with her but none of it had been real - it was all just a lie. They weren't really boyfriend and girlfriend. "Fuck, this is like winter vacation to Universal Studios all over again...."

"Go for it Watts... Now, we need to get moving, as we need to get into place..." she said simply, before walking off. Waverly wouldn't have too many problems getting control of the drones and get them going in the air.

"What are you talking about Ally but... I trust you, and I trust your instincts. You tell me not to fight back against them, I won't fight back against them..." Oshea said to her, giving her a smile and a kiss on the cheek.

Wanda looked over at Allison when she walked up, "Hello there Ms. Andrews, I've been doing alright, today is going to be an interesting one don't you think? So how have you been?"

Pietro, seeing that everything was about to start, simply picked up Guin and went to where his family currently was. Soon, she'd find herself right next to Wanda, Allison, and Oshea as well. "Figured that was a bit quicker..."

Carolina and Annie will be led from the car that they had arrived in to the main area that the execution was going to take place with October as well with them. October gave her wife a kiss on the cheek. "Oh, I do love a good execution - I wonder if it'll be a beheading? Well, I must be off - I need to go rendez-vous with King Erik. Do be careful, my loves."

Max will have no luck on the car ride getting a compact mirror of any sort. No one has one (I mean, some of them are a part of the Resistance group who don't exactly have much and the others are a part of SHIELD so who would carry one on them?). He also wouldn't be able to get a good read on the dungeons. James meanwhile would have no trouble blending into the crowd of people, keeping an eye on everything that there was going on around the area. Waverly would be able to see a car pulling up a bit late to the party, and see several people getting out of it and going towards the tree line. (It's the Resistance Group for reference)

Soon, the prisoners who were going to be executed were brought out through the crowd. There were a total of 6 prisoners in the dungeon, but seems like only two were going to be killed today. One of the two was obviously Klara, who didn't really seem to fight back or anything against the guards right now. The other one was a man who was clearly panicking, and Klara rolled her eyes slightly at that. He was yelling about having nothing to do with the resistance group and the like, but the king didn't seem to be having anything of it.

"There's your cousin Runa..." Lance whispered to her, taking her hand and leading her through the crowd, soon they'd manage to find themselves in the first row, fairly close to where Klara was now standing.

The Resistance group would pull up in their cars to the Palace now, and be able to get into position (whether it is to be able to sneak into the Palace or cause chaos) The group would also be able from where they were hear Magneto's words.

"Now, the Human Resistance group has gone against us once more, striking out at us, and now it is time that we strike back against them." he said simply, before glancing over towards Flynn, who had joined the group there along with Sapphire. "My son, and the one who will take the throne after myself, will be the one to complete the execution."

"...Wait you want me to do what now?" Flynn said, his face going a bit pale.

"Do it now Flynn," Magneto responded in response, almost shooting a glare of sorts towards Flynn.

"...Alright," he muttered, it was obvious to a lot of people nearby that he was a bit reluctant to do anything like that. He instantly burst into flame and walked over towards Klara and the other man there.

"Okay, we need to do something, even though the irony being that a water goddess is about to be burned to death," Lance muttered to Runa, about to do something before he stopped because of something else.

Once they were all in position, Hawkeye smirked slightly. "The kid said it wrong, by the way. It needs a pause for dramatic effect, like so: Avengers..... Assemble!" He then let an arrow fly, aiming for King Erik's eye. Banner didn't even really seem to need to try, tossing his glasses aside as his purple shirt gave way under the strain, the buttons launching as projectiles as the fabric ripped and he grew to a gigantic height. He was exposed, like a nerve, but horrifying - a gigantic green colossus, a Lovecraftian horror - he was the Hulk and he let out a roar, slamming his fists on the ground with enough force that it registered as a minor earthquake.

Even with the commotion going on around them, Cass would be able to recognize more then a few people in the crowd. From where she was, she'd be able to not only see Flynn by where Klara was, but she'd be able to see Guin, Pietro, her sister and Annie, Allison, and... Oshea alive?

Jack was not too thrilled with Casper shoving him out of an airplane. If anything a part of him wanted to strangle his brother for it. Somehow he managed to stay relatively calm in the fall down, pulling his chute and having no problems landing. Once on the ground, he took off the parachute and walked right over to his brother, before smacking him upside the back of the head. "Don't you ever do that again!"

"Can you two stop fighting? Look, we're here now, that's all that matters, Remy and Rogue already went ahead, there are four entrances into the compound, they headed to the back entrance, which leaves the two side entrances, and the main door..."

"My recommendation? Don't go through the front door, that is a really bad idea... This coming from the con artist."

"Yeah, seriously doubt you'd be able to talk your way in," Mary said with an eye roll, glancing over at the others now.

"I never said I couldn't do it, I probably could!"

"Whatever, now, since we don't want to go through the front entrances, there are two different side ones, one on each side of the building. We already have our groups, so let's see about getting in... Anastasia and I can see about taking the west entrance... Which would leave Jack, Bobbi and Casper to take the entrance to the east. Be careful, and hopefully no one gets caught or killed..." she said, nodding her head at Ana, before she started heading towards the west entrance into the building. They were lucky as there was quite a bit of tree cover in the area they had landed in, and they definitely were lucky no one had hit a tree when landing.

Jack turned and looked at Bobbi and Casper, "Well, shall we get going then? I still say I could talk my way through the front entrance, but that honestly would probably be suicidal, so let's go to the east entrance." With those words, he headed in the opposite direction that Mary had, heading for the other entrance.

Maximillian Gray

Location: The Palace Assualt Team: New York City, New York.B4>C5?
Skills:
Conjuration, Magic.New Outfit

Max was torn as to which side to go with. On one hand, he could see how valuable his skills would be on the stealth team, allowing them an easy out if necessary in a pinch; this ofcourse would be a moot point if Klara, or Runa hadn’t decided to disappear into the darkness without so much as a word. On the other hand, Max fully understood the idea of a small covert group of no more than four players for a stealth mission. It reminded him of the group the Underground took to investigate Shaw, small group with at least one person leading and someone who can help stealth their way through the issues. He didn’t know the others well enough though, nor what exactly they were capable of. They were Red Guard so hopefully that meant some form of stealth ops, they should also be trained killers or disablers. He closed his eyes and cleared his mind of the voices playing tug of war on who’s side he could join, then he finally spoke up. ”I’m going with the assualt team. My powers can be spotty and chaotic at times, and i would hate to compromise the mission to save others just because I can’t portal exactly where we need to or something. I will attempt to do some magical reconnaissance on the way to the palace and will alert you if i find anything. If by the time we get there you haven’t heard from me, then that means i was unable to discern any information on the dungeons past what I already told Tinley.”

With the Max got into the assault team vehicle and proceeded to do what he could to help. Unfortunately it seemed no one carried a compact mirror on them, which was rule number one of being a caster. Always have a mirror on hand. He could beat himself up over it later. Max attempted to create the item but the beings that willed did not feel the need to allow him to do so. So he sat quietly in the car with his eyes closed, imagining a pool of still water in his mind as he attempted to scry on the dungeons, only to have that spell fail as well, not that he could say he was surprised. The team had finally made their way to the positions and Max awaited a cue, Hawkeye masterfully shouted the line, (Though he was sure Tony Stark could do it better) and then watched as The Hulk transformed and shook the earth, now that was a cue. He used the temporary distraction as a safeguard to propel himself up in the air, Swirls of concentrated cosmic energy swirled within each hand as he flew up ten feet before landing about fifteen feet away from his target of Wanda Maximoff. The distance was too great to attempt more without harming bystanders so he ran for a jump start and tried again, this time falling flat on his face only two feet away. ”Damn it”

Max could feel himself going nowhere fast, and was sure to have embarrassed himself in front of some of earths best heroes. He got up and wiped the dirt from his face, looking now towards Flynn who seemed to be hotter than ever. Unfortunately for Klara, that heat could very well mean death to her, and although they had their differences, it wouldn’t sit right with him if he just let her die. Max swirled his hands above his head, conjuring pools of water that began to sway and swirl above Flynn, turning into a massive ball of water before it just fell down attempting to douse the flames on him. Flynn aptly dodged out of the way, leaving Klara soaked to the bone, and his fires still burning. ”Oh come on. Just this once could my powers work, just once.” His attention was now split between Wanda and Flynn, she would surely be enraged by the arrow that went flying towards her father, and Flynn would surely take offense to the orb of water that was just summoned above him.

James Kingston

Location: The Palace Grounds (D5)
Skills: N/A

James slipped into the crowd, the familiar sense of disappearing into a mass comforting. He would never admit it but he felt a slight twinge of nerves at the coming conflict. Straight face to face combat had never been his strong suit, capable enough to keep himself alive long enough to escape but probably not going to out match anyone without some luck. The Resistance, and the defective Shield members, gave more than two shits about the mass of people James integrated himself into. It was the safest place to be, at least in the beginning before everyone started panicking He kept his eyes and ears open as he scanned the crowd. For a moment, he thought maybe he was in the wrong place and should evaluate a new position but then he saw him.

Lance Banner.

“I have visual on the Banner boy and his girlfriend. Can we get a drone at my position?I want to make sure we can keep eyes on them when shit hits the fan.” James texted quickly to Agent Watts before slipping his phone away and making his way quietly behind them. Like he told Klara earlier, James didn’t care about any of this. If letting whatever insanity occur got him one step closer to snagging Banner, then let chaos rule. He slipped up behind them and waited. He knew it would happen. He just had to be patient.

And did the Hulk deliver.

After the initial aftershocks and whatever nonsense was happening with the water, James fished out his pistol and fired into Runa, not bothering to check his work as he transitioned over with the ICER on Lance. He dropped the ICER as soon as Lance hit the ground, refocusing on Runa. She was a problem and he sent a quick kick of foot at her, only to be blocked by some damn magic again. But he did manage to get Lance down for the count and he pulled out his phone again, texting Watts If you see her, dive bomb a drone into the girl I shot. He put it away and grabbed Lance, starting to haul the boy away in the confusion.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace Grounds E5 -> Inside the Palace (Guin's Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
Guin nodded slightly as Pietro whisked her over to everyone and set her down nearby Princess Wanda, Allison, and Oshea. Terrific. Of course she's here... Guin thought a bit morosely. She wanted to be able to talk to Wanda about all of this without Allison learning what had happened to change the world like this - she needed time to get Wanda's side of the story. She liked Allison and knew that she was just doing what she thought was right, but there was no grey area with her. Everything was black and white - but that just wasn't the sort of world they operated in. She grimaced as the prisoners were brought out for execution as punishment for the crime of treason against King Erik.

She didn't understand why so many people loved going to executions - sure, it was a public spectacle but they were always incredibly gruesome. Guin looked away, especially as King Erik declared that Prince Flynn was going to burn the criminals alive. She didn't have the stomach to watch something that grotesque. However, the ground shook and she heard the starts of a fight break out, watching as an arrow nearly hit King Erik in the eye. This had to be the Human Resistance.

"Shit," she muttered. She couldn't exactly get Wanda to confess under these circumstances. The resistance group didn't seem to care if they endangered innocent people as well and she tried to probe their minds telepathically to figure out what their endgame was, but something was blocking her. They could be here to kill the King for all she knew. Her eyes flickered over towards Wanda and she "accidentally" brushed up against her, trying to switch bodies but it failed. There went her idea of getting her hands on the most powerful mutant abilities in order to minimize the inevitable deaths.

"Hey, Pietro? I really think I would be safer in the palace with Wanda..." she said softly, switching tactics. If she got Wanda inside with her, she could talk to her about all of this, but also keep Wanda from using her insanely high level gifts to kill these people.

Pietro looked at Guin for a moment, almost like he was thinking about what she said. A few seconds later though, Guin found herself... Locked in a closet? The door was completely locked and unable to be opened, and she didn't seem to have anything that could be useful. No electronics or anything really with her. There was a pile of Twinkies, a Vulpix plushie, and a blanket in the closet with her though.

"FUCK!" Guin screamed, kicking at the door. "Let me out!!!"

Runa Blake

Location: the Palace Grounds D5 -> the Mirror Dimension
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Every fiber of her being felt like it had been electrified as she saw her cousin being sent to her execution. A death like this wouldn't allow Klara to pass to Valhalla - she would end up in Hel's domain. Maybe later, she would be able to tease her cousin about how they were going to use fire to kill her, as Klara could manipulate water in the real world, but not now. She gripped her sling ring, intent on opening up a portal beneath Klara's feet to send her back to the Human Resistance HQ in the blink of an eye and safe from harm.

Before she could do anything though, everything seemed to happen at once. The ground started to shake, her cousin was doused in water by the well dressed mutant from before, and then suddenly the world shifted - no, it wasn't that, she had fallen down. She couldn't grasp what was happening until after Lance had fallen to the ground as well and blood was rapidly pooling around her. She had been shot. Everything was a blur of color and sound, but she saw another blow coming towards her and she used all of her strength, putting up a weak magic shield that prevented the assailant from hitting her.

"You..." Runa said hoarsely, recognizing her attacker as the vile man from before. He had knocked Lance unconscious and started to drag him away. She had never felt so helpless before in her life. Closing her eyes for a moment, she wondered if calling out to Heimdall would do any good. Would the host of Asgard come to her aid? She was just human here. She wasn't the granddaughter of Odin. She was no one - just an insignificant amateur sorceress.

A horrible idea then popped into her head and she acted on impulse, convinced that if she did nothing, Lance would die. The bullet was probably going to kill her anyways, so self preservation wasn't a factor anymore. "Dormammu... I've come to bargain... my life for power..." she whispered. Pressure built over the bullet wound and the skin around her eyes turned purple, before cracking like she was made of porcelain. The bleeding had largely stopped and she rose to her feet, her eyes narrowing as she saw James and she let out a scream.

Raising up her hand, a disc of purple magic appeared and she flung it at James, aiming for his arm but instead, she severed his hand and the limb dropped to the ground. Lance was just lying on the ground unconscious, but at least James was no longer dragging him. "You sick, depraved little worshipper of Surtur!" Runa snapped, grabbing onto James with one hand and opening a portal to the mirror dimension with her other. She pulled him through with her and then closed it, cutting them off from the rest of the world.

"I am going to kill you in the way you most fear - and then, even after death, I will go to each creature in existence and have them swear an oath to bring you nothing but pain in the afterlife!"

Dominika Novikova

Location: Human Resistance HQ -> the Palace Grounds B4 -> E5
Skills: Metal Bending
"Maybe we should invest in a set of helmets to block out telepaths," Novikova suggested as they drove. Of course, it would be a little bit cliché for her to wear one - a mutant with powers of metal and magnetism, wearing a helmet that prevented people like Charles Xavier from reading her mind? Yeah, no one had heard of anything like that before for sure. It wasn't like Magneto (or King Erik here) was famous for doing just that. Nope, not at all. Of course, she knew there were further similarities between the two of them - she had unleashed a killing machine that nearly ended the world. Some might call her a hero, but others would say she was a villain that deserved to be in the Raft.

Maria Hill certainly thought so, she recalled bitterly. Even if they managed to fix the world and turn things back to normal, their team wouldn't be the same. There was always a price for every victory.

She was pulled away from her thoughts as Maria kissed her and took on some of her powers. "I feel fine," Novikova said honestly, giving her girlfriend a slight smile. She loved being able to work with Maria like this again - even with people spouting off cheesy lines about the Avengers. They only had two of the original six here with them. Thor was dead, Iron Man was just a genius billionaire from what she knew, and then she had no idea when it came to Black Widow and Captain America.

Once they arrived at the Palace and ditched the cars, moving in from the tree line, Novikova took a slight breath. She would have to fight Magneto. No one else here could really manipulate metal - and while it was possible Maria had gotten that power, it was a difficult one to master. She knew that Magneto's prowess exceeded her own - he was an omega level mutant after all - but she had to try. At the very least, she could buy the others time. That always seemed to be the gamble they played, no matter the tragedy - they just always needed more time.

Would today be when time finally ran short?

Moving towards Magneto, she concentrated on the metal in his crown and attempted to crush it inwards. She couldn't hold back fighting him - this wasn't going to be some honorable and respectable duel. It was going to be a gritty and dirty fight to the death. Unfortunately, Magneto managed to counteract her attempts with ease and he spotted her, staring right at her.

"Down with the King," Novikova said simply, before trying again to crush him. She managed to get the crown to start to dent, but even that was taking an enormous amount of power and energy.

Casper Theriot

Location: the Ground -> the East Entrance - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
"When exactly do you think she jumped out of a plane before?" Ben asked curiously, having reappeared once Casper had hit the ground. That was one of the perks of being a ghost - parachuting out of a plane wasn't dangerous anymore. To Ben's knowledge, it was impossible for him to be killed a second time. All of life's dangers were gone - though that didn't mean he still didn't get scared for Casper. They had been friends since childhood and he didn't want to see Casper meet an early grave, though Ben knew it was extremely likely that Casper wouldn't live to an old age. He would probably die young for an overdose.

"Wait, this is your first heist?" Casper asked Anastasia, his eyes widening. "Woah... I wish we had a camera, we definitely should've taken a picture for the occasion." He was being genuine, but he also wouldn't have been surprised if she punched him for saying that. As it was, his brother ended up smacking him across the head for shoving him out of a plane - but he had done it out of brotherly love! He held his head slightly.

"Jaaaaackie, so mean!" Casper whined.

He was really really really tempted to go through the front entrance, as that would definitely put the facility on alert. He liked the idea of making this mission hard and/or impossible - but what he didn't want to do was get everyone killed. Walking in through the front entrance and going hi, it's us, thieves! would definitely result in casualties from what everyone was saying about the Red Guard and S.H.I.E.L.D. in this universe. He would just have to find a less deadly way to mess things up.

Following after his brother, Casper whistled as he walked. He wasn't stealthy or silent at all - it was probably a good thing that he wasn't actually considering a career in thievery, as he wasn't really cut out for it. The entrance seemed to be guarded and he couldn't help but feel disappointed. How was he going to mess this mission up if everything was super easy?!

Michelle Diggby

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York. -> The Palace Grounds (D2)
Skills: Identity Oscuration, Driving

It was decided, she was going to search the castle with Cornish, Abercrombie and Bautista for the source of all this madness. It was a job like any other, breaking and entering a secure facility grab the unknown objective and leave. Her team was a complete stranger who was going to guide us to the unknown person/item and her recently promoted newbie teammate who had absolutely zero trust in her. All she could rely on was Bautista who still seemed pretty traumatised, she had a car ride to pull herself together.

Michelle scooped up the car keys. "Vroom vroom."

Michelle had always found driving relaxing, much like her accordion, a car was an instrument and through practice it would become simply an extension of oneself. Pedals and switches, pistons and crankshafts, hydraulics and pneumatics. Physical, moving parts. This was her element. Slam the clutch, shift the gear, feel the ratios transmit more velocity to the rear wheels as you release. Live the oversteer. Give in to the Gs. This however was not going to be relaxing trip for anyone else. Michelle gunned it, only screeching to a halt at the gates of the palace on the North West side. Michelle effortlessly activated her power, tucking her sunglasses into her fringe and flashing her Red Guard insignia.

"We're under attack, let us fucking through!" Michelle commanded, paying to no notice to the guard's friendly small talk.

The gate opening was painfully slow, Michelle revved the engine impatiently. Gate finally up, Michelle replaced her glasses on her little nose and saluted the guard before stamping on the accelerator. She teared down the road, but did slow down a little to reverse into a space. Michelle killed the engine and, for a moment, the interior of the car was serene. Michelle tucked the insignia back into her bra,

"Thats not going to work for the next security checkpoint. So whats the plan?"

Agent Waverley Watts - Feedback

Location: The Palace (Drone A = D5) (Drone B = 7C)
Skills:

As soon as she was given the confirmation on her line of action, Agent Watts gave a curt nod, before turning her attention back to the map in front of her. But it didn't look like she was looking at it, but rather using it as a fixed, unmoving point in order to focus. She reached out her mind, letting her powers feel around deeper into the palace, trying to find the familiar sensation of the drones. It didn't take her long to do so, and once she had, she closed her eyes. The feeling of starting up the drones, the buzzing sensation in her mind as she pulled them off the ground of their given stations and guided them outside, always felt to Agent Watts like ventriloquism. It felt like she was pulling them upward with infinite invisible strings. It would've been enough to put the slightest of smirks on her face, had she not had a job to do.

She maneuvered the duo of drones simultaneously, sending one towards the crowded execution spot, and the other to patrol the perimeter of the palace grounds. At first, she split her focus evenly between the two, taking in their cameras' views with equal concentration. Kingston's message, though, changed that. She let the patrolling drone linger, absentmindedly keeping it in the air as she moved the drone over the crowd closer towards Kingston's position, until she could see him with his gun drawn, shooting at a woman Watts recognized to be Runa Blake. He managed to bring her down in the first couple of shots. Still, Agent Watts made sure to keep an eye on her as Kingston moved on to attack the younger Banner, who was also brought down quickly. Though as soon as he was brought down, Agent Watts noticed Blake begin to rise to her feet, and Watts sprung into action. She sent the drone plummeting towards the ground at the target, who seemed to be getting ready for some kind of attack. Her cutting off Kingston's hand, opening a portal, they didn't stop the drones descent, not until Blake grabbed hold of Kingston and dragged him through the portal, which promptly disappeared.

"Fuck!" Agent Watts yelled out as her drone pulled up, stopping it from crashing into the ground. She let it hover over Lance Banner's body for a few moments, before making it fly back up twenty feet or so into the air. Still focusing most of her attention on Lance Banner and anybody who might try to get close to him, she sent out a message to the rest of the Red Guard.

'Attention Red Guard Units, Lance Banner has been rendered unconscious. Find him and pick him up under the drone nearest to the execution site.'

Bobbi clapped in delight. "Oh, how fantastique~ I agree, a picture to mark this occasion!" The slender woman reached her arm into the void and after a few moments of digging around pulled out a disposable camera. It was fresh, she even had to remove packaging. Lucky! She snapped a quick picture of Anastasia and a couple of the rest of the group before placing the camera into one of the pouches she wore.

She listened intently to the directions given and nodded in understanding before she followed Casper and Jack to their destination. She even went as far as to link arms with Casper and give him a wide grin. "What say you to a selfie before we enter the fray?" she inquired with excitement. The brand new camera had her in a tizzy and she was all for documenting Team Theivey-pants' wonderful adventure. Though she was quite exuberant her voice was a soft whisper. She would not give away their position foolishly.

The plan for her was to follow other's directions. She was not a leader. She was a smash and grab kinda lady. So, basically, her plan was no plan. Besides enjoying her time getting into this facility. Bobbi practically glowed like a pregnant woman with her glee of the job. For her, the adventure was in the getting, not necessarily the goods. Though a paycheque was a bonus.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Annie, Carolina and October’s Home ---> The Palace Grounds E5 -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette sat in the back of the car quite content. There wasn’t time to change so she would show up to the execution with her clothes covered in paint. She was absentmindedly trying to wipe paint off of her hands and her face though. She watched the trees move past her in a blur, naming street after street that she knew well and turned around to watch the park that she frequented go by. She loved New York and the liveliness here. There were people from all walks of life here. Even if most of them lived in fear. Antoinette sighed and sat back, staring at the red paint on her hands. Was the real New York just a lively? Was it better? Antoinette wanted to know but she was afraid.
They finally reached the Palace and the execution site. October left her and Carolina and Antoinette looked at the hanging posts. How awful would this day be. She turned her attention to watch the prisoners being pulled out one by one and led to a platform. Before they could reach their destination though there was a sudden commotion. A bullet, an arrow flying and then people screaming, yelling and more violence. Antoinette grabbed onto Carolina, confused and not having a clue on what they should do. ”We need to get out of here,” she said shakily. Both of Antoinette's eyes flared in and out with their enhanced colours, her body unsure of what she needed to do. Fight or flee. Right now it seemed to take a third option and freeze.

Niah Bautista

Location: Human Resistance HQ: New York City, New York. -> The Palace Grounds (D2)
Skills: N/A

Niah was very mentally distracted before and on the drive to the Palace. Unless directly spoken to she didn't seem to really notice what was happening, though she smiled to herself a bit when Wolverine said that there were only two actual Avengers in the group. He wasn't counting her because only someone who remembered Ultron would know she had been an Avenger for a while (or someone who had read her report). She also gave a nod of approval as Diggby got them through the first gate and to a parking space. It sounded like Team Chaos was at work at least. She checked her ICER. The part of her that had lived through Ultron's reign of terror wished for a real gun and she knew that if she found one on a guard she'd take it. That wasn't for use against people, she would save it for things ICER's didn't work against.

"I've been successful in the past gaining access codes from key panels with Psychometry so that could help us get through those. Dealing with Guards might be a bit more difficult, but that's the point of stealth. We don't get seen. However, I have my ICER and we can knock out as needed. Let's try for a small side door. Something possibly used by servents." The castle was more modern, but hopefully, small side doors would be available. She looked over the side of the castle that she could see. One entrance caught her attention and she pointed it out ((E3)). "How does that look as an option?"

Carolina Reed

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (5,E) -> (4,F)
Skills: N/A

Once they were now at the palace grounds she looked around at all of the people there, noticing that everyone who was important was there as she looked over towards the stage. And then a few seconds later the prisoners were all being brought out, she didn't know any of these people at all. As she looked over as King Erik, or Magneto she remembered from the real world started to speak she rolled her eyes slightly she really didn't like the idea of public executions. She looked towards October biting her bottom lip she was going to tell her about the real world and what had happened there as well. But before she could do anything Carolina could feel the ground shaking ever so slightly as she looked around and noticed an arrow flying through the air and the Hulk as well.

Chaos started to break out as she looked over towards her best friend, and held onto Annie's hand tightly her powers weren't really nessarily used for combat at all. Though she did know how to fight pretty well though but she didn't want to be anywhere near the chaos that was unfolding either. She quickly started to make her way towards the enterance of the palace while looking over towards Annie as well as she gestured towards the palace. "Head into the palace it should be safer." Carolina told her.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (B,4) -> (E,4)
Skills: Season Manipulation

As soon as the cars came to a stop she looked over towards Hawkeye for a moment and shook her head slightly, she honestly did always think it was a bit cringy to say but never really said anything about it. As everyone started to get ready Cassandra looked up at the sky for a moment as she noticed some drones flying around the air. Probably as a way for additional security as well she thought about trying to make it colder or make the drones useless, as she tried to focus on winter nothing happened. But as she took a moment Cass noticed a lot of faces that she recognized as well.

Her friend Guin who she had trained personally as a SHIELD agent before joining the X-Men, Pietro, her sister and Annie, Allison, and Oshea which made her pause for a moment as she remembered watching him die at the hands of Sabertooth she still had the scar from her previous encounter with the mutant. "My sister is there." Cassandra said as she watched the others as they started to get ready and moved out to fight against Magneto's people and quickly joined in on the fray as well, trying to make her way over towards her sister Carolina and her friend.

Maria Smith

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (B,4) -> (E,5)
Skills: (Novikova's Earth Manipulation)

Maria took a moment and looked over towards Max when he mentioned her powers, she was grateful for his offer but she already had the power that she thought would be useful. "Thank you for the offer, but one of my other known powers is life-force absorption so I may end up harming you in the process, you may end up in a coma or end up dying. And at times the power absorption doesn't work properly either and may not even get the desired powers I need." Maria said as they continued to drive while looking over towards Novikova and smiled towards her glad that she didn't have any bad effects from it. "Also the more powers I take probably wont end up well either so I just limit myself to one power at a time." Maria also told him, as soon as they were at the palace Maria climbed out of the car they all had gotten into.

She took out her bow, and looked over at Novikova as she started to try and metal bend Magneto's helmet, but it didn't seem to effect him to much, as she tried to do the same thing as well. Though when she tried it, she could feel that he was actively preventing it from happening as well. Sighing a little bit as Maria then used her girlfriend's earth manipulation powers, and hurled a rock as hard as she could towards him.

Jade was thinking it over, as Shelly asked what would they do at the next security checkpoint. She put a slight hand against her head, thinking through the various strategies they could enact. Would the Royal Guard have been alerted to the Red Guard agents that defected? Potentially. Most of them would be sent onto the grounds in order to subdue the Hulk and the other key figures. The ones left behind would be in charge of guarding main entrances, as well as rooms where the wealth was stored. "If we're interrogated, we're friends of Prince Pietro's fiancé," Jade then decided. "Act dumb and cute. They'll buy it."

She then nodded approvingly at Niah's helpful find. "Brilliant," she praised. "Once inside , we're going to their bedrooms. I'll point out the relevant details, you lot will overlook them doubtlessly, and then I will wow you all with my detective skills as I figure out who changed the world just by the state of their bed sheets. I'd like to start with the princes and princesses - King Erik is too obvious to be the culprit. I'd be annoyed if it was him."

"Oh, this is delightful! Definitely my favorite execution to date!" October squealed, enjoying the pure chaos and destruction going on. She wasn't about to be left out though and she started to throw fireballs up at the drones, hovering over the crowds.

Barton spotted the drones as well, loading EMP arrows in his bow and he drew back, aiming at the targets. "I've got a clear shot," he said, though he realized that likely no one was listening and even if they were, they probably wouldn't really care. He then took the shot and the blast managed to completely destroy the drones. Waverly would instantly lose all sight on the grounds and the chaos that was going on outside.

"Well this'll be fun," Sapphire commented, before the entire area around the King (E5) started to freeze over, however she was able to keep bubbles of warm air around Magneto, Miranda and Flynn. Everyone else would instantly start to feel the chill as the area started to get covered in ice.

"Hey Flame boy, you were hesitant to try and kill me, so... Mind cutting me loose or something? I would really prefer not to die because of a rampaging Hulk or something stupid like that," Klara asked Flynn, looking over at him. He looked at her in response, glancing over at Magneto who seemed to be more concerned with Novikova and Maria then anything. Letting out a slight sigh, he instantly went over to Klara and managed to break the chains on her. "Thank you for that."

"Yeah, well, I have heard someone say this world is all screwy or something along those lines..."

"Oh, it is, you wouldn't by chance know where my sword is would you?"

"Inside the Palace somewhere, not sure exactly where."

"Of course, well, it might take a little while to get there then considering this chaos."

"Yup..."

Magneto glared at Maria and Novikova, before he sent metal shards flying at the pair. They moved so fast, that they wouldn't have time to react before Novikova and Maria were hit by the shards. One of the shards ran straight through Novikova's leg. Another shard slammed into Maria's right shoulder with enough force to knock her backwards, but not enough to cause her to fall to the ground or anything. Metal was whirling around him, creating a shield of sorts around him.

"HULK SMASH!" the Hulk shouted, picking up one of the statues of King Erik as he threw it into the fray, aiming for Magneto. The beast then let out a roar of pure rage, shoving through the individuals as he went to his son. Many people were under the misconception that the Hulk was a mindless beast - he wasn't. He also happened to view Lance as really his son and not Banner's. "SON!" he roared, scooping up Lance as he threw another obelisk over his shoulder.

Wanda had gone over to Max, shorten the distance rather quickly as she expertly took off into the air and landed right in front of him. "So, mind telling me what it is that you think you are doing?" she asked him, before she flicked her hand, sending him flying backwards and he'd land on the ground hard.

The East Side Red Guard Base

Jack rolled his eyes at Casper and Bobbi. "The two of you need to stop being ridiculous and get your head together, we can't screw this up you know..." he said, shaking his head at the pair of them. In his mind he was basically with the two people who probably would get all three of them killed fairly quickly. The door wasn't really guarded, so Jack made his way over towards the door, staying fairly well hidden from the entrance.

Once closer, he was able to see that there was a security camera located by the door, which would help explain why there wasn't really any sort of security at the door. "Hey Bobbi, you wouldn't by chance be able to grab something that could potentially be useful for taking out a security camera would you?" he asked her, looking over at Bobbi now.

The West Side Red Guard Base

Mary led the way to the west side of the compound, and unlike the relatively unguarded side that Bobbi, Jack and Casper were going towards, this side had quite a few SHIELD agents at it. There was about 10 guards outside of the entrance into the facility, meaning they'd likely have to take out the guards in order to get inside. There was a security camera at this door as well, so they'd need to be extra careful.

"Hey Anastasia, think you can get the guards to potentially fight each other and potentially knock each other out so that we can get through to the door? It would make it a bit easier and draw less attention then fighting our way in ourselves..." Mary asked her. Their first problem was the guards, they could deal with the security camera afterwards if they needed to.

Runa's Skills: Eldritch Magic
James' Skills: Accelerated Healing Factor, Strategy

The pain didn’t register for a bit. He stared in shock at the hand on the ground and the bleeding stump on his arm. He watched as it healed over with an eerie calm His eyes darted between the two for a few moments and all he could think was “I should have fucking shot her again.” That was all he got before the pain slammed into him and screamed every profanity he knew. The white hot burning on his stump took over everything, not even noticing her trapping him in the other dimension. He wouldn't really understand what she did even if he had noticed. His vision was blurred and spotty but he clenched his teeth and forced himself to focus. The longer he was out of it, the more likely it was this bitch would take advantage of it.

He took a deep breath and calmed himself down, focusing instead on the situation at hand. What he wanted to say, Are you a fucking idot? would only get him killed that much faster and damn whoever thought he was going down easy. He still had his pistol but he dropped the ICER here… there… Wherever he dropped it. The pistol was a last resort. He had to get her to let him out. Or drag someone more powerful in. The gears in his head worked overtime as considered how to handle this. He was outclassed, in a world he didn't understand, and this absolutely idiotic woman was the key to all of it. Fuck.

"Lance is in danger. The last transmission I made told everyone where he was but now he is knocked out and alone on the ground in the middle of a field with people running around screaming as the Hulk smashes everything within range. James said carefully, sighing at the end of it. It was hard keeping the pain out of his voice and he wasn't entirely successful, the strain clear. He sat down, shoulders slumped as he stared at the girl. "Get on with it. Play with me however you want. Everything was for nothing if he dies. If only Klara agreed to be set free." He shook his head in disappointment.

The ex-Asgardian stared at James, her eyes still surrounded by fragmented purple skin. Logic and rationality went out the window - she barely heard his words, just seeing a personification of everything horrible that had ever happened in her life in front of her. She blamed James now for things he never did - for the rumors that swept around Asgard that she was evil incarnate, for giving her the love of her life only to set into motion the events that would take him away from her, for the prophecy that her father would die an unworthy death and that her mother would succumb to grief. She let out a scream, not even forming the words for the incantation, and she tried to let out the raw power to set him on fire - to burn him alive just as they were about to do to her cousin, Klara. But her emotions made her unfocused and nothing happened.

James looked left and then right and then left again as the girl all but screeched something at him. Nothing. He sighed again, disappointed that apparently the Lance issues was less serious than he thought. He needed to figure out what she was thinking or get that fancy toy she fected yesterday that let her open portals. Well, he’d provoke her a bit more and see if maybe he’d get her to actually say something this time. He pulled out his pistol again and fired two shots, missing wildly, and shrugged. That shoud be enough to rile her up some more. Maybe she’d take offense to the gun and deal with that next. Might buy him some more time to figure out how to redirect her.

“Oh look at that. We both suck at this.” James drawled sarcastically as he put the pistol on the ground next to him. “Though if you’re going to slaughter me and send me to whatever hellish realm you think I’m going to, mind telling me why? I shot you, thats fair, but this is a lot of anger for just being shot. I thought Asgardians were used to battle wounds.”

Runa flung a disc of magical energy at James, hoping to decapitate him. However, her frisbee skills needed some work as she just gave him a slight graze, resulting in a tiny cut on the neck, and the magical disc then whizzed off into the distance. "When your father is Baldur the Beautiful, your mother is the Goddess of Springtime, your brother the god of Justice... And you're the Goddess of Lies, you never get happiness," Runa informed him, slipping into the signature villain monologue. "I'm going to have my happiness taken away from me. I can't change that. At least I can make you suffer for what you've done. I'll enjoy that."

James hissed as a fresh pain blossomed from his neck. Nowhere near as intense as his arm but with his entire nervous system feeling raw and brutally sensitive, it burned like a bitch. He clenched his teeth for a few moments, his free hand coming up to check the wound. It was miniscule since the woman missed its likely intended target. But her words were what interested him. He almost found it amusing, the family issues plaguing the Asgardian. Apparently even gods struggled with those.

“And what evil is that? Please enlighten me.” James asked. “Wait. You’re the Goddess of Lies? You’re telling me, you are literally the person in charge of falsehood and conveniently I’m being constantly told this entire reality is fake? So now that some mutant idiots discovered your plot, you’re going to murder me or is this just becasue someone is playing in your sandbox?” James really thought he was fucked up but these Asgardians were really taking the cake. The first one got herself captured over some petty insult and the other is throwing a temper tantrum because someone is playing in her domain. Laughter bubbled out of James and even though fresh tears fell as the pain rocketed through his body, he couldn't stop it. This whole situation was just too fucking hilarious.

She tried to cut off his other hand - three times even - but with no success. What sort of being was he? Runa narrowed her eyes, convinced that a secret Master of the Mystic Arts stood in front of her, laughing and jeering as if he didn't know about the stigma surrounding Baldur's daughter. Everything in the universe loved her father - and similarly, it felt as if everything also hated her in turn. There was a balance there. "I'm going to murder you because you DESERVE it!" Runa screamed. Something then clicked in her mind. "... Of course. It's you. I should have known, Loki - any Midgardian would have been DEAD from my magic by now!"

The laughter stopped. The Shield agent went rigid and still, eyes wide and unfocused as he stared past Runa into empty space. An entire other life assaulted his senses, one so aggressively foriegn to the man and yet was undoubtedly his. In some respects, they were similar. A few idle hobbies, mornings spent struggling in the library after ten too many drinks the night before, easy sunday afternoons finishing up a few pieces for his dad’s shop. But that’s where it all stopped. That James loved people, this James ignored them. That James laughed at the little things, this James ignored them. That James enjoyed helping people, this James didn’t care, only caring about the satisfaction of completing the next project. Emotions this James hadn’t experienced in many years welled up and, unbidden, tears trickled down his face.

James, both This and That, realized the crossroads they now stood at. Which way would they choose, for both believed their own the better. A dorky grin, the press of a shoulder and the grip of a hand, of laughter and tears all wrapped into brief moments of hurt, confusion, relief assaulted them. This James knew he would never have that, not here, not how he would be, and not with his goals. So he gave in. That James became James and This James ceased to be, only a string of nightmares one after another.

“I’m so sorry. So, so sorry.” James spoke softly and sincerely, trembling as he met Runa’s gaze. “You’re right. We do deserve it. The me here has been nothing but horrific. But I’m here now, the actual me. Let me fix it and then you can kill us. Let me undo what he’s done, including where he shot you.”

No part of her wanted to believe him. While the majority of her powers were gone in this reality, she still could tell the difference between truth and lies. James' statement did not give her that pinprick of pressure in her head - he was telling the truth. She wished that he was lying - she wished that he wasn't sorry and that he didn't ask to make things right. Her happy ending would have been beheading him, taking his mangled body and throwing it in front of the world as a warning to those who tested her. And while the power from the Dark Dimension was coursing through her veins and it was so tempting to just give into it entirely, she let out a breath and let it go. Her face returned to normal, no longer featuring the decaying purple cracks around her eyes - though they were still slightly red from tears.

She stumbled slightly as the pain from being shot rushed back to her and she gripped her wound, pulling her hand away for a second to see fresh blood. Maybe he would be able to help her - or maybe she would die. Didn't she deserve it as well? "Fortsett..." she mumbled, using the sling ring to open a portal that would allow James to leave the Mirror Dimension.

James watched her calm down and opens the portal, scrambling to his feet. He hissed in pain when he tries to use his missing hand for leverage and nearly toppled over. That would be a long adjustment. He was through the portal quicky, waiting impatiently for Runa. He hadn't missed the fresh blood on her. He wanted to stop the bleeding now but he wasn't sure how this whole portal thing worked so he didn't chance disrupting her focus "Come on. Quickly. We have to get that bleeding stopped before you pass out "

She nodded slightly, stumbling her way out of the portal. The portal thankfully was remaining open and would allow James to leave as well - especially fortunate since Runa fell to the ground once they were outside and back in what was considered the real world at the moment. There were horror stories about people trapped in the Mirror Dimension, unable to escape if they did something as dangerous as misplace their sling ring. While it was a great place for training or an uninterrupted battle, it also could easily double as a prison for some of the more powerful individuals on the planet with ease.

“Oh, fuck.” James swore as he rushed to the collapsed woman. Between trying to kill him, bleeding out, and jumping from place to place, Runa must have been exhausted. But for now, they had to get away. James’s specifically called for back up to secure Lance and it wouldn’t be long before Watts managed to wrangle them together. He knelt next to her, confirming the bullet wasn’t lodged in her. Thank God for small mercies. He placed his hand gently on her wound, the familiar pounding in his ears as he slowled the beeling and stitched the skin back together.

“There, you’ll be fine.” He wheezed as he caught his breath. “Lets get Lance and your cousin before we bounce. And my hand. See if I can fix that too.”

She took a breath and felt the pain subside. She didn't know if she should thank him or attack him again - a strong part of her wanted to do both. He bore a striking resemblance to one of her favorite gods on Asgard - Tyr. He was a god of war, but it was mostly due to James' lack of a hand. Tyr had lost his to the wolf Fenrir. "Thank you," Runa then said, though it seemed like she really had to force herself to show him gratitude - he did save her life, of course. "Maybe you are not completely horrible, Midgardian..." Looking around, she then attempted to locate Lance. In her anger, she had abandoned him on the ground, unconscious. It stung slightly to think about, yet if she could go back in time and do it all again, she would without a doubt.

Skills:
Conjuration, Magic.New Outfit

Max’s eyes darted from side to side, keeping his eyes fixed on Wanda and Flynn to see who would strike him first. Chaos ensued all around him as the Hulk began to toss statues at Magneto, his team assaulting the King like a swarm of mosquitoes angering a giant. The sounds and crashes, coupled with the risk of ‘innocent’ lives, distracted Max enough not to noticed when Wanda took to the skies and landed by him. Her voice caught his attention as panick began to well up inside him. Was he truly ready for this fight? His head turned to meet her gaze, only enough to see her flick her wrist and knock him back against the ground. The impact sending a pressure into his chest as his shoulders began to hurt. ”Isn’t it obvious Wanda? I’m doing what you refuse to do, I’m doing what I was tasked to do. I’m fixing your mistake!” Max spoke, as he slowly got up, trying to regain some of his strength from the previous blow.

He now stood there, eye to eye facing Wanda Maximoff. People often times thought of him as walking chaos but Wanda...she was the real chaos incarnate. Max took a deep breath, gathering himself before his hands cast off a swirl of particles. The circlular array hit the ground beneath her feet but found no purchase there as the portal failed to open. Panic. Max quickly thought to bind her, not wanting to shed any more blood than what was needed for today. His arms swept up as he tried to call the chains forth once more, just as he had done the previous day. He knew not if she was masterfully counteracting his magick with hers but those too failed to form and Max began to wonder if he picked the wrong fight. All that kept him going was the thought that, as long as he kept her busy, no one else would have to feel her wrath. Fine then. It was time to annoy another giant. Max pooled an orb of cosmic energy, a glowing array of blues, blacks, purples, and pinks, showing the unbridled power of the cosmos as he launched the blast towards her and hoped it would hit the same way she had hit him before. He watched as it nudged her back slightly but looking more like an inconvenience. ”I don’t want to fight you. I don’t want to hurt you either...I just want to make this right. That was a warning shot, please don’t do this.”

Allison Andrewss

Location: The Palace Grounds (E5) -> Inside the Palace(Outfit)
Skills: Precognition, Telekinesis

Soon, events began to unfold just as Allison had seen them. Oshea had charged off, but at least she was confident he would follow her desire. She would explain it all to him after this, hopefully. She didn't have much choice. She didn't know if the attackers knew she was an ally or that she knew about the previous reality or not and she wasn't about to stand around and ask. Wanda had moved to her father and Guin had disappeared. She was just near her, but she couldn't have gone far.

Summoning her power again, Allison was able to see Guin in a closet. She could pinpoint it and figured Pietro must have rushed her over there in a vain attempt to get her out of the line of fire. Moving quickly, she ran to the Palace and went inside. The guards having their hands full with the attack, she was not stopped.

Eventually she found the door she needed and checked it. It was locked. "Guin? It's Allison. Stand back from the door." She grabbed on to the door with her telekinesis and pulled, removing the door off its hinges and freeing her friend. "Your knight in shining armor is here! Listen, we don't have much time so I'll give the Cliff Notes version. I am sorry. I know the world isn't black and white. Our reality isn't much better, but it is what it is. I don't know the desire of whoever caused this, though I am strongly suspecting either Magneto or Scarlet Witch, but it can't be good. The fight is happening outside lots of people will get hurt, from both realities. We need a plan and I want to work with you to achieve it."

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: The Palace Grounds (D2) -> (E3)
Skills: Infiltration

Tinley nodded her agreement with the plan. "It's a solid idea. Nice work Niah." Though she was skeptical of Jade's plan (if one could call it that), she was the best out of them to find information. And she was right, Erik was too obvious. It could be his children or wife. Could even be someone close to them who wanted to see his dream a reality.

She scanned the entrance and didn't spot anything. She moved quietly, keeping an eye for any guards. Even with the attack underway, there were sure to be security protecting the other entrances. Sure enough, as she made her way over, she spotted several guards and about 8 cameras. "We got at least 14 guards and 8 security cameras, all focusing on various angles. What's the plan for them? I can mind control some to be on our side or forget they saw us, but I can't do much on the cameras other than break them," Tinley whispered to the others. Hopefully with their powers and skills combined, they could figure out this issue.

Anastasia Reinhardt

Location: West Side Red Guard Base
Skills: Morality Manipulation

Ana giggled slightly. "Yes, first mission. Quite exciting, non? We shall take a selfie after we succeed, preferably with the crown on top of my head." With that, she bid the others adieu and went with Mary to the West side of the base. There, she spotted the two guards. Upon Mary's suggestion, she nodded her agreement. "It shall be done." With a flik of her wrist, Ana found herself entering the subconscious mind of one of the guards, moving things around. The poor guy loved his job. Well, so much for that. And she threw in an extra helping of "Fuck this guy next to me" for good measure. "Sit back and watch the show, love."

The one guard turned to look at his friend. "You know Mike. Fuck you! You're a right asshole!" Mike was taken aback a bit. "Dude, what are you talking about. I invited you over two nights ago! My wife made lasagne!" Dude (or Jeff) scoffed, "It sucked! And you suck! You know what.." Without another word, Jeff sucker-punched Mike hard across the jaw. Mike let out a little whimper before he fell to the ground. Jeff wasn't done though. "And fuck this job. Seen too many weirdos for my liking. I'm going to pursue my dream of being a garbage collector. Much more safe than this shit." As he left, he gave a swift kick to Mike's side before he was gone.

Ana giggled. "My, that was intense. Look at the chaos when one's morals are shifted."

Guin Stark

Location: Inside the Closet -> the Lab - the Palace (Guin's Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
Guin was about to send a lengthy profanity filled rant through the mental link to Pietro, only to hear outside the closet door the last person she expected: Allison. Instantly wary of her intentions, she crossed her arms and expected Allison to go on a rant about how she was right, this world was inherently wrong and evil, and that they needed to force it to go back to normal. She hadn't gotten to have a conversation with Wanda about why she had changed things, so there was no way in hell that she wanted to talk to Allison about things at the moment. She didn't have all of the facts yet.

But when Allison telekinetically pried the door open, Guin couldn't help but smile. She had missed her friend. "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?" she quipped, quoting her favorite movie of all time. She was surprised to hear Allison apologize and Guin uncrossed her arms. She wasn't entirely blameless in all of this. "I'm sorry I was a jerk," she added after Allison finished speaking. "Ally, I... I'm pretty sure I figured out who did this, but we need to be careful about confronting them."

An idea then popped into her head about what to do - it was actually inspired by one of her dreams. They needed to get everyone outside to stop fighting. "Here, come with me - there's something in the lab we can use," she said, taking Allison's hand in a show of good faith and she hurried to the lab. Once there, Guin looked around before she found a dusty old helmet, covered in cables and other bits of tubing. "It's called Cerebra. I'm going to use it to try to calm down everyone I can outside and inside - the only problem is it won't work with King Erik. You'll have to either stop him or get his crown off his head, it blocks out telepathic powers," she explained.

The good thing was that Cerebra didn't need to stay in the lab to be used - she could walk around wearing it. The bad news was that Cerebra blocked out Guin's vision, meaning that she would be more vulnerable when they went outside to deal with all of the fighting. She picked up Cerebra and put it on her head, turning it on and she then did her best to project calming, zen thoughts - in order to mellow everyone out as if they were stoned - but her range was limited. She only was able to get everyone inside the Palace completely calm (except for Allison).

"Shit, I can't quite reach the people outside... We're going to have to go out into the field for me to make everyone stoned."

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Palace Grounds E5
Skills: Earth Manipulation
Novikova glared at Magneto, angered that he had sent metal shards flying into her love. "Congratulations, you just committed a hate crime!" she shouted at him, hoping to distract him slightly. It also was to distract herself from the enormous pain in her leg from the metal, but she didn't pull it out. The shard was likely stopping the bleeding and pulling it now would be a dumb move. Concentrating on the ground around him, Novikova shoved Magneto upwards and launched him towards the lake.

Unfortunately, the mutant master of magnetism managed to catch himself with ease. King Erik was just floating above the water and Novikova grit her teeth - she'd need to try a new approach. Still holding a giant mound of earth in the air, since she had torn it up in order to toss him, Novikova threw the large chunk at Magneto. It slammed into him and knocked him backwards, injuring the King and blood was flowing from his mouth. But annoying, he was still flying in the air. "How the hell did we deal with him in the Framework?" she muttered under her breath, trying to recall any particularly helpful strategies they might have employed.

Casper Theriot

Location: the East Entrance - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper grinned as Bobbi linked arms with him and suggested a selfie. "Oooh, yes, let's take one!" he said eagerly. He loved taking pictures with people. It was one of the few ways to preserve happiness - something would always come along to make him cry or bleed, but they couldn't take away that little moment of joy the photograph preserved. He loved doing the photo booths with his boyfriend, splitting up the strip of photographs between them. His face fell for a moment (see why photos are great? Already, he's sad!) as he wondered where James was. And if this world was supposed to be paradise, then why weren't they together?

Was Casper not a part of his happiness?

"Don't mind Jackie, he's just jealous he isn't as photogenic as we are," Casper informed Bobbi.

"You know, I'm pretty sure that's not it," Ben chimed in. "After all, you and Bobbi - offense intended here, by the way - look like trash. At least Jack looks like he wouldn't dumpster dive to survive."

"I don't do it to survive, I do it as a hobby," Casper argued. "Everyone needs a hobby and at least mine doesn't end up as the new Pinterest obsession!" He wasn't making any efforts to be quiet or anything. He noticed his brother was trying to stay hidden and was asking Bobbi about the camera, while Casper came up with a more practical(?) solution. Taking off his shoes, he threw the first one at the camera - it hit the wall sadly and fell to the ground out of view. Well, do or do not - there is no try - so he threw his other shoe. He missed again and the shoe fell right in the camera's line of sight.

"I'm out of shoes," he then said melodramatically.

Michelle Diggby

Location:The Palace Grounds (D2) -> (E3)

Michelle followed in close behind Tinley spotting the cameras when pointed out to her, she thought they were much more of a problem than the guards themselves. Spotted on those and a trap could be laid ahead of them, if guards spot them atleast they know where the danger is coming from. She also liked Tinley's idea of using the guards, but making them do something suspicious like break enough of the cameras to give them a blind spot for Niah to hack the door would only lead to someone inside raising the alarm sooner.

Michelle scrunched up her face, remembering when Sapphire froze her to the Quinjet deck. A few moments later had formulated a fully fledged question.

"14 guards... thats 14 mutant powers you could exploit?" Michelle asked Tinley directly in a low voice before opening the question up to the floor, whispering, "Could we get a read on what those might be from over here? Anything that covertly disabled the cameras beats making them shoot at them and it would be useful to know in case we have to go through them."

"Do not worry cher, I never pay no mind to no one." She had learned to mostly tune Casper out when he went on his little tirades to no one. She didn't want to draw attention to him since a mutant's abilities could work in mysterious and wacky ways. She made an effort to be sneaky behind Jack the closer they got to the building. She was about to reach into the void to pull something out which might be helpful when a shoe went flying. Bobbi blinked and another shoe flew. She looked toward Casper and made a sour face at him, sticking out her tongue. "That is how you get caught mon amie." Her voice was a hissed whisper as she turned her attention back to the task at hand. Getting a long-range weapon.

She reached her arm through the void and her fingers touched something right away. She was a bit surprised. She pulled it out and what came through boggled her mind. She had never before pulled out a gun. She stared at it in complete horror and held the rifle like object as if it might explode. She held it out to Jack. "Here," she said with a soft whisper. And then she caught the name on the handle of the gun. First Strike. Guns normally didn't have that sort of thing on them. Did they? She didn't know much about guns. Unknowingly, what our tiny drug addict pulled from the void was a paintball gun.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Grounds E5 -- New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette watched as her friend raced off after telling her to head towards the Palace. It would have been a great idea but Antoinette was now in-between Prince Flynn and the King of the world and she was still trying to process the fact that he was actually a bad person. Not to mention, the yelling and the constant ring of gunfire going on around her. It was enough to push any non-combative person into the fetal position but Antoinette remained standing, too shocked to do anything else. Her eyes continued to flare in colour, her vision along with it and she was starting to feel the beginnings of a headache from the overstimulation.
Her intuition was going haywire as she was hit with sensation after sensation of something terrible and awful going on. It was obvious to see, it was going on all around but it wouldn’t shut off. And then out of the corner of her eye she saw a little penguin, flapping its wings and squawking at her. She seemed to relax a moment but then her vision shifted and it was covered in blood and seemingly falling apart in front of her eyes. It stumbled towards her then turned and headed for Magneto. It reached out, calling to him before it completely disintegrated. Antoinette stared in horror at what her mind had created but then the debris started to shift until a great bird rose up. It seemed to be on fire as it fanned out its wings and looked at Antoinette. The Phoenix cried out before launching itself into the sky and disappeared.
As if it couldn’t get any more weird than a disintegrating penguin then random phoenix. Antoinette’s head was pounding, her eyes still flaring when she turned away from the King and looked at Flynn. She didn’t know why but that strange illusion brought up Wanda for her and she was suddenly very concerned. ”Where is your sister?” Formality was completely thrown out the window and Antoinette was normally very good at remaining formal.
