Cade happily paid for the weapons Ayita had chosen, he had no desire to horde amas and seeing his friend happy and properly armed was more than enough to make him smile. She had chosen fine weapons as well, the knife in particular struck him as a thing of beauty. “Don’t be sorry, does your world not share the custom of giving friends gifts? You have shared such wonderful tales of your home and told so well sometimes I even felt that I was there. During our travels to Roshmi this brought me peace.” He said honestly, and as his way of vailing the message that there was no debt owed between them. Those who share battle, are in his mind, bonded in a way that debts do matter in much the same way it is with family. He would never expect a sibling to repay a kindness, nor would he expect it of someone who took up arms alongside him. Her question of how they would befriend the centaur and the faun stayed unanswered as he wasn’t sure how to best integrate with the strangers without drawing suspicion. But just as luck had brought them Sakura when the dragon had attacked, these rebellious strangers instead found their way to them.

Cade gently rested a paw on Ayita’s shoulder before continuing in a much more hushed tone. “It’s like I’ve said before, Avalia will aid us, this land wants noble warriors to defend her.” He was more confidant than ever that this was true. He turned his attention to the centaur who approached him and commented on his halberd. A large smile spread over Cade’s face at the complement.

“Thank you, made by own brother.” He said excitedly taking the weapon from his back and showing the centaur it’s craftsmanship. “A good eye you have, makes me wonder how you manage to miss your target.” He added boldly but in a voice barely louder than a whisper. He placed the halberd back on his back and gave a friendly smile. “I am Cadence of a Thunderstorm, most call me Cade. What do they call you, fellow warrior?” He asked the centaur as the mans companion, the faun, spoke to Sakura.

Bowyn had a good point on going to a busy market would be a good way to test out the ears, see if anyone really took notice especially if guards were roaming around. At the same time if they failed her it may be a bit more difficult to escape unless she could use the crowds to her advantage. She would have to find away to disappear into the crowd for that to work and she wasn’t entirely confident in her sneaking ability. It would be worth a shot though. ”Fancy dresses you say? You really do know how to persuade a girl.” She said to him playfully with a grin before taking another drink. She chuckled a bit as well as he informed Boreas that there would be mice all over the streets. She couldn’t understand what the bird had said, but from Bowyn’s response she could figure it out.

A voice from beside her had caught her off guard and she turned to glance at the two women. Two elven women? She thought to herself, eyeing them for a moment longer before looking to Bowyn. She wondered what his thoughts were on them, though she knew he wasn’t really fond of elves. So she was about to suggest they make their exit when the one woman greeted them. She looked at Bowyn with the slightest hint of alarm as her initial thoughts went to thinking that they’d been discovered. Perhaps she was being overly paranoid, but she’d rather be that than underestimate someone. That alarm quickly turned into curiosity as the woman spoke about what had happened in the market. Perhaps they could get some useful information out of these two women.

”Oh?” Torvi questioned, glancing over at Belle again as she took another sip of her mead. ”We’ve been here for awhile so we hadn’t heard. That sounds quite scary. Did the perpetrators get caught?” She asked nonchalantly, but inside she was quite curious to know what these women knew.

Azriel was slightly disappointed that the only reaction she had gotten from taunting Xenelith was a glare. She had been hoping for some sort of outburst, yet at the same time she applauded him for having the self control. That was definitely a good quality to have in someone who lead others. Which was also why she didn’t like to lead others as her self control was lacking in certain areas.

She grinned as she picked up some ubara and leaned over to Jack. ”Here you should really try some of this. I think you would enjoy it. I’ll take some with you if you want.” She said with a smirk as she held it out to him. It would be quite interesting to see how he was on the strange lust inducing drug. Her attention was quickly pulled away from Jack, however, as Xenelith spoke about the light elf governor.

”Oh? That is quite curious. I wonder what that self-important prick has planned.” She wondered out loud, thinking about it. What business would he even have here in Roshmi? Why didn’t he just stay up in his palace? She found herself grinning at Xenelith now, wondering what he had planned for the governor. ”Well whatever you want to about him, Xeney, you can count me in. I do enjoy making light elves lives hell.” She said right before she decided to take some of the skaula instead of the ubara.

She’d watched O’Ner leave, but what she wasn’t expecting was for him to actually take her advice and shapeshift. ”Well, well, well, would you look at that. The skeleton took my advice.” She said with a giggle as she drank some more of the wine. She was quite impressed, but that was until a small child approached them. She at first was shocked to see him there, who in the world lets a child into a brothel?! If she found out they would certainly be in trouble. Not only for letting a child in, but for the fact that the child was interrupting their fun. She would slowly carve the flesh off of their backs and revel in their screams.

The little one seemed to be addressing Umbar and calling him Lord Norkas for some reason. Who just walks into a place and walks up to someone just assuming they’re someone? And boy, oh boy, was this child a loud mouth! She wished he would just stop talking. Maybe she could cut out his tongue, that would surely help silence him. He could still scream, though, she supposed. Maybe cutting his vocal cords would be a better idea. The thoughts mixed with the alcohol and drugs had her smiling and the words weren’t exactly registering right away. It wasn’t until she heard the word ‘humans’ when she focused in on the words. What would this brat know about humans?

She looked at Zelginn skeptically, some of the things he was saying causing for some questions to cross her mind. How would someone so young know what humans smelt like unless he’d come across them before? That and he’d just openly admitted to being a thief, how much merit did a thief's words really hold? It made her really suspicious of the boy as she looked to Umbar who spoke, hoping he sensed her suspicion and understood that she wanted him to be cautious. Last thing they needed was for Umbar to walk into a trap set by the enemy. At the same time she wasn’t ready to end her fun and the hallucinations were beginning to set in. While she knew she should probably go with her friend, she also knew she’d be more of a danger right now. So she’d stay and continue enjoying herself. Speaking of which, she looked back to Zelginn and giggled a bit to herself.

”Thank you, little one, for delivering the message to Lord Norkas. Here, take this as a gift.” She said as she held out some skaula for him.

Artemis

Time: Early Morning > Noon
Location: Devil's Bay > Malthemoor
Interaction: @FunnyGuy Darius, @13org Myra

The sounds of a carriage crossed though the woods; the rhythmic thumping of it continually brought unease to the young woman. Her starry blue hair was barely visible beneath the heated parka she wore. With her hair out of the way, it allowed for a muzzle to attach to her ears. Low growls were emanating from her throat, but none of the Dark Elves noticed or cared to show that they heard her. She wore thick gloves with chains connecting them together. Her lower body was immersed in water from a bucket, though the tip of her tail was handcuffed to the carriage. She was straining to sit up right, though she was used to these uncomfortable situations. Her situation beat being on the ship and being hung upside down by her tail. God, it had brought immense pain to her head. She hoped she never experienced it again. Being tied up for hours on end caused her enough head rush to give her a headache for another year.

Artemis sighed and rested her eyes. The trip to Malthemoor would take almost half the day. She knew she had to escape, but where? She refused to be bought by this rich Dark Elf and his accomplices. She refused to retrieve objects and force innocent people into the water depths, only to drown them. Despite this, she didn't mind slaughtering everyone on the carriage with her right now. Her voice was both a blessing and a curse. While she enjoyed singing, she had become accustomed to luring people with it and drowning them. Too many times had she watched the horror fill people's voices and then realization they would die? The light in their eyes would go out along with the panic and fear. Artemis couldn't help but enjoy some of it though; elves and fairies had tormented her for too long. These Dark Elves and Orcs were going to be on the top of her list when she escaped this nightmare.

Artemis leaned back and began to focus on what she would die if she escaped. She wanted to go to Roshmi City and shop and eat like she had in the past. Though this time, it wouldn't be the same. No, the city would only break her heartbreak. She hated to think of running into the past fairies, elves and demi humans she had known. She forced herself not to think of them. It only brought her suffocating pain and grief. She would never live it down. Arty wondered if she did escape and found them, would they accept her. Most likely, but if they only knew... She squeezed her eyes shut and forced the tears not to fall. A few had escaped though, and the Dark Elf across from her began to laugh tauntingly.

"Aw lads, she's crying! Look at her! Stupid bitch – we've told you time and time again to quit crying. You're nothing but a giant fucking baby. You're going to need to toughen up for your new master. I heard he doesn't enjoy crying and whining. The last mermaid he had died! Wait till we tell him what a baby you can be. He'll make you really wish you hadn't been born. But you're so beautiful and have a unique skill that he may not kill you immediately. He may let you live long enough to serve your purpose." Artemis cracked her eyes open to glare at him and forced herself to remain silent. Boy, she was going to drown this elf one day. The other Elves began hooting and hollering to which she tuned out.

With a deep sigh and another low growl, Artemis began to glance outside. A chill was beginning to fill the carriage. One of the Dark Elves noticed her beginning to shiver so he threw a blanket on her. It wasn't out of the goodness of his heart, rather the need to keep her alive and warm. Artemis sighed as she stared at the blanket. Despite it being itchy, it had brought her enough warmth to stop her from shivering. Finally, after what seemed like hours, they were beginning to reach the mountain. Artemis glanced out the window to see the tower on the mountain. Dread began to fill her. The Dark Elves' words replayed in her mind's eye. She knew she had to escape. There were a few lakes nearby she could escape into...

The forest, though, would be too much of a trek for her. She couldn't remember the last time she had ate either. Artemis knew she would have to be quick and efficient in order to escape before they made it too far up the mountain. She bit her lip and watched as one of the Dark Elves began to loosen the chains around her tail. They were so tight they left indentation marks in her tail. They only added to the collection up and down her tail. She had grown accustomed to the bruises and scars all over her body and in particular to her tail. As long as it worked, none of the Elves had minded adding to the collection. At this point, Artemis didn't care if she died. It would be a more suitable fate than remaining a slave and prisoner.

Artemis glanced at the Dark Elf while the Orc guarded them. She began to focus on using compulsion for him to loosen them just enough so she could whack him with her tail. The Dark Elf stared into her eyes and for a moment, lost concentration. She managed a weak smile and began forcing him to feel pity and sympathy for her. The Dark Elf stared with bewilderment which transformed into passiveness. Slowly, he began to loosen the chains just enough for her to begin moving her tail out of the water. While she did so, she kept an eye on the compelled Dark Elf and another on the guards. Artemis watched the mountain loom closer in view; the top of it beginning to taunt her and count down her remaining time. As soon as her tail was out of the bucket and onto the carriage floor, she gathered her strength and smacked the Dark Elves nearby her with her tail. The Dark Elves cried out and fell to their sides with shock and panic.

"What the fuck?!" One of them yelled but she ignored him. She bent down and using her cuffed hands, began to shimmy the cuffs off of her tail. As soon as she was out of the water, her mermaid tail began shifting to regular legs. Once the chains were off her tail, she elbowed the compelled Elf in the nose then his throat. He yelped in fear and pain while cursing her out. Artemis watched as the Orc came at her and swung her legs over to trip him. She then summoned the reserves of her strength to kick him into the carriage door. He yelped, but lurched forward to smack her into the carriage door. Artemis snarled at him as she smacked her head. She brought both her hands down onto his skull and cracked it with the weight of the handcuffs. The Orc yelled in pain and crumpled to the ground. Artemis made sure to fling the blanket off him over him. She also kicked the bucket onto the orc as well.

Next, Artemis head-butted the Dark Elf coming at her and kicked open the door. With the muzzle on, it caused him a great deal of pain. The Elf fell out instead of coming at her and crashed to the ground. The horse was running with fear from the commotion which caused the carriage to tilt to and from. It was displacing everyone inside of it. Artemis jumped from her seat and raced out of the carriage. She had made sure to run over the Elf just as he was getting up. She cackled with glee as she injured him further. Artemis didn't look back; the yells were faint to her now. She was out of the carriage! Artemis sprinted clumsily into the forest and didn't care what came at her. She was pumped up with adrenaline and desperation. No longer would she serve anyone but herself. No longer would she unwillingly kill for entertainment. No, she was done serving Aklenroth and his armies. She felt a flush of fury race through her at the mere thought of it. It only powered her to run faster.

Artemis didn't know where she was going but she didn't care. Anything was better than being in the carriage or worse, on the mountain. She heard noises from the sky and glanced up to see an Amora overhead. Artemis stared at it longingly, and then continued running. She hoped someone worthwhile was on it that could assist her, but she doubted it. Artemis continued running until she couldn't anymore. She collapsed onto the forest floor and curled up. Artemis glanced up and realized there was a river nearby. It was too far though; with the handcuffs on and her malnourished state, she would never reach it.

With a dismal groan of pain and agony, she began to hum quietly in order to comfort herself. Tears were streaming down her face. This would be the end. Artemis didn't mind; at least she'd be free from the agony and torture. Waves of peace began to fill her. She would be able to see her family and friends on the other side once more. Artemis managed a tiny smile and continued to soothe herself quietly.

Time: Noon
Location: En Route to Malthemoor, Daka Island
Interaction with: Myra @13org and Artemis @Potter

Darius almost couldn't believe he had traveled so far north in this new world. He hadn't liked the cold much. Snow, on the other hand, was always nice. Darius' eyes widened as he caught sight of beautiful snow-capped mountains of Daka. He and Myra had watched the view until Kol started asking about Darius' magic and what triggered it most.z

"What about sadness? Despair?"

"Uhh no. I haven't felt those since being here." Kol nodded at Darius' answer.

"Fear?"

"Truuust me, if it was fear, I'd be the god of everything water. You'd call me Hurricane Darius." Darius noticed that Kol wasn't amused by his joke. "Okay back to business. No, not fear. I've been afraid most of the time I've been here and not a drop of water came from it."

"That's actually a good thing. Hmm... So your magic had the most output when you faced your orc companion in defense of your demon… friend. And then again when our lord showed you the fates of the unfortunate. Anger for the latter... Outrage if I was going to pinpoint it. The other emotion being desperation? Or was that also outrage? Tying the correct emotion is paramount to how I plan on training you."

"Umm maybe both? In the beginning, Skar was about to backhand the hell out of me for not backing down, but then I tried to fight back. Probably fear, because I was actually scared. Scared, but ready to take a clean backhand." Darius nervously laughed, while Kol narrowed his eyes and a faint smile formed on his face.

"Child, that is courage. It was easier after that moment wasn't it? You must have been invigorated."

"Yeah… Yeah, you're right! You're pretty good at this. So courage and anger are the keys to output."

"Correct. You may even be able to tie the two together. You harbor anger to those who brought you here, and now you hope to bring your people back… against many odds. However, be wary of your anger. That feeling is volatile and may cloud your thoughts. It would grant you the most output, sure, but you would have little to no control over it. You must control your element, not simply unleash it."

"So I just have to be pissed off and brave, right?"

"Not brave. Courageous. One displays courage when they fight against something with fear still present in their hearts. Despite that fear, they face their foe… even if they believe they may not come out victorious."

Darius remained silent as Kol's words resonated with him. It reminded him of what his brother once told him about taking risks. Darius had always done things when he was either sure of or had a very good grip on the outcome. He didn't take risks because he lacked the courage… But here in Avalia, he had more courageous moments this week than in his normal life. Sure half of it was because he thought he was in some advanced virtual reality roleplaying game, but making the decision to stay here and standing up to Aklenroth in the throne room… It was because he was fighting for someone other than himself. He looked to Myra and then to Kol who was trying to get a read on his silence.

"Courage! I got it. It's perfect." Darius said with a grin. "Oh! Looks like we're landing. Let's take a look at this... place?" Darius raised his eyebrows as he looked upon the snow-covered and… empty Malthemoor, the second largest dark elf settlement in Avalia. Was it? The amora landed with grace onto the snow as Darius looked upon the settlement that appeared to be a collection of a few buildings next to a mountain. "This can't be it."

"My, you must be the cleverest human that came from your world…" Kol shook his head. He wished Darius would wait before speaking his mind. That would be a difficult lesson to teach indeed. "The rest is within that mountain. Hollowed out by Lord Aklenroth himself. We will not stay here long. We will head to the market and then we head immediately back to the castle."

"Deal, but can you give me a second." He walked over to Myra wearing the large black fur coat and chuckled. "It's a lot colder here, but are you okay without the coat. We can leave it in the amora if you want." Darius posed the question before turning towards a faint humming coming through from the woodline. He raised an eyebrow and started to walk in the direction of faint sound calling to him.

"You hear that? A woman singing… It sounds sad."

"We don't have the time to waste on sounds in the forest. The forest will silence it soon. Wolves, owlbears, and wendigos were made to answer such a…" Darius suddenly threw his sack of 5,000 amas at Kol.

"Add a Darius to that list! Come on Myra let's go help whoever's out there. Kol, you can go buy whatever you think I'll need." Darius ran into the treeline, following the pleading siren song. "Myra go ahead since you're faster. I'll catch up."

Time: Dawn > Noon
Location: Roshmi City
Interactions: Baraian @Dezuel
BGM: N/A

As the party of the snobby governor and his lackeys were barraged by wildlife, Kuroi quietly and quickly followed after Baraian, his eyes constantly scanning his surroundings to make sure they weren't being followed nor gawked at. Upon arrival at the shack, the vulpine let out a small sigh of annoyance, sitting down cross-legged on the wooden floor, positioning himself under the window. He loosened the string that held his mask to his face and put it down on his lap, loudly exhaling with visible annoyance. It didn't take long for Baraian (and any unfortunate sod who had the audacity to spy on them) to realize the mildly androgynous aesthetic Kuroi had decided to sport if he so chose to look at the duelist now unmasked.

Kuroi's face was fairly pale but not devoid of life: it was clear that his flawless skin was a result of the foundation and powder he applied to himself every so often for the sake of presenting himself in a flawless, elegant light. His eyes were touched with a hint of black eyeshadow as well as a thin eyeliner, resulting in a slight aura of femininity. However, despite this, Kuroi primarily emanated masculinity and merely only showed a touch of femininity, proving that he could be as gentle as he could be powerful.

Placing his hands atop his mask, Kuroi looked over at the elf, tilting his head at him in response, "I am not entirely sure. I imagine the human girl is safe but the man who assaulted the governor with a pie is asking to have his head chopped off. Regardless of the outcome, I can't afford to fully affiliate myself with any of them, lest my prestige and family name be at risk."

His gaze moved towards the door as if hoping someone would come through it for better or for worse.

"Fortunately, I've never really been fond of the governor nor does he really have any business showing off his pompous self in front of me. I only need to talk to mother, verify what curriculum his so-called special 'guards' train, and easily strip them of their above-barebones training." Kuroi said, smirking at the elf. "Admittedly, this would be more for my pleasure's sake than anything. A soldier in Roshmi, no matter how well trained, will not be better trained than a martial artist who dedicates significantly more time to arts of combat. After all, a soldier is required to quickly learn the essentials of fighting before going out to protect their nation...or invade another..."

Xenelith

Time: Morning
Location: Roshimi City
Interaction with: Azriel@Tae, Umber@FunnyGuy, O'Ner@Eviledd1984, Jack@Alivefalling, Zelginn@Dezuel

Xenelith did not respond to O’Ner’s concerns about Jack. Though silently he somewhat agreed. The man did not look as if he had a military upbringing. Which meant he would be unruly, disobedient and terrible at taking orders without too much complaining. Things that were, if needed, whipped out of any dark elf as he begins the slow ascend to true power. For now Jack was an asset. The powers that came with being a human were a great boon. Perhaps that’s why Risa triggered the DROMs. But if all-out war broke out Jack would have to be broken. As a commander he couldn’t have an asset talk back to him or doubt his orders. For now though, he didn’t need to control Jack just yet. Who he needed to control was Risa, Dionaea and Kyran. Their movement, their thinking, he had to predict it. With Jack, he needed something far harder than predicting his actions: he need to trust the human. Which did not come easy to the dark elf. Though fate was never a calm creature. Soon the human would be facing a test.

Then the child appeared. How or why he was greeting Umber as Lord Norkas was beyond him. Though he didn’t question it. Everyone of note or skill had little birdies tucked away in the city’s shadows. His own net was sadly confined to fellow dark elves and a few demi-humans. Apparently Umber had enlisted the help of at least one child. He mostly ignored the message. What could a child bring them really? Until he mentioned humans. His ears perked up at that. The name Tsarra Kenia Urmicca, that was now one to remember. He made a mental note of it, hoping he would remember after the upcoming hours of exhilaration. As resourceful as the child was, he was also quickly getting on Xenelith’s nerves. For one he talked far too much. And in the skaula haze the child’s features began to slowly deform. The brown fur turned more orange to his eyes. Something in him wanted to jump the kid and strangle the life out of him. Until he was nothing but a limp corpse. No doubt his eyes were betraying that intense desire to kill the child.

His spell got broken as Umber floated over to the child. “I doubt you’ll find any vices more worth your time than here Umber.” That was, of course, if you didn’t count the sacking of cities. Were no sin was forbidden. His senses were leaving him quickly though. “Umber. Take some Dark Elves. You might need them.” He still managed to say as the haze overtook him. The girl sitting on his lap was demanding more and more of his attention. The cat ears had completely vanished to his vision now, and her tail’s touch on his tight was just a faint yet effective sensation. Her face was one conjured up from memory, not reality.

For a moment he had forgotten all about the people around him. He caressed the girl’s cheek as he said: “You’re the most beautiful thing in this world.” With a sincerity that couldn’t be meant for a common courtesan. Then he kissed her. To him it felt like a kiss that was long overdue. Like two lovers re-united after years apart. A warmth swelled in his chest and coursed through his veins. The girl, for her part, played along expertly.

Time: Afternoon
Location: Roshmi City
Interactions: Torvi @Tae, Belle @Potter

Bowyn was about respond to Torvi when two elven women helped themselves to seats at their table. He and Torvi had chosen a table out of the way to avoid prying ears and as he took a glance across the bar, he could tell, that while business was picking up, there was plenty of room elsewhere for them. Typical of elves; assuming everyone wanted the pleasure, or more accurately, the inconvenience of their company. Anyone with the slightest hint of decency would’ve at least asked if they minded strangers joining their table, but he did not expect decency from the high and mighty elves.

“Why, no, these seats are not taken, feel free to sit here, complete strangers who have not bothered to introduce themselves.” Bowyn responded in a tone that was both dripping with contempt and sarcasm. He then helped himself to a piece of fruit from the blue haired elfs plate, figuring if they were going to be rude, he was more than happy to return the sentiment. “Please continue to inform us of the latest gossip. Did anyone die?” He added as he chewed, obnoxiously and with an open mouth, on the piece of stolen peach. He glanced over at Torvi and gave a smirk, she seemed to be greeting these elves much more cordially than he planned on doing. He could see why, they might have useful information, but he wasn’t generous with kindness and these elves had shown none so he planned to only match their demeanor. He wasn’t going to allow himself to be mistaken for weak either; Bowyn was no cheerful forest fae, flitting about with any creature that happened to be in the vicinity.

“I’m Bowyn, by the way, not that you bothered to ask.” He continued. “And my lovely companion,” He paused to gesture towards the merlin perched on his shoulder, ”Is called Boreas. Don’t be offended if he stays quiet though, he doesn’t normally care for elves.” He said as Boreas ruffled his feathers to add to the point. He would leave it to Torvi to introduce herself if she wished, and continued to drink of his mead.

Zelginn

Time: Playtime
Location: Den of sin

He blinked a few times, looking after Lord Norkas, or rather Umber. As he was leaving the building to thank the lady which had given Zelginn the important task to begin with. While the initial telekinesis that had been used to levitate Zelginn up to face Umber had caught the small fellow by a slight surprise he realized that he was technically flying without wings. How many creatures had done that without a Amoras or a beast?

The large demon, Umber was certainly a sight to behold. Most people within Roshmi would certainly dread him and stay away from him if they could. Demons were after all known to be trickstery and very powerful, even a small foxeared fellow like Zelginn knew this. He wasn't born yesterday after all, not even close to it! But even so he knew that no one would hurt a child, not even a demon right? Boy was he lucky!

As Umber spoke, Zelginn nodded quickly in agreement to everything the intimidating demon said. "Oh okay, have fun milord!" He said waving his clawed hand as the large figure began to move away in a floating manner. The small figure allowed his curious eyes to wander to the winged woman and the dark elf nearby. The former of the two was looking at him, even when he was speaking with 'Lord Norkas', Zelginn had just not been fully able to keep his concentration on the large figure as his mouth went on a spree. The woman had however kept to herself somewhat until the large demon had begun to leave, now she giggling and looking over him as if he was some form of entertainment or appetizer.

The tailed small figure crossed his arms defiantly, he was certainly not tonights entertainment. The woman however proceeded to thank him and handing him a gift. Zelginn blinked a few times, then reached out to take the skaula. He knew what this was. This was the thing which made people see things strangely, he had the fortune or misfortune to get it into his hands before. And that time the curiousity took the better of him. He poured it into that silly dark elf's drink. Oh how he got into trouble from that.

It made Zelginn softly giggle to himself as he pocketed the gift. "Thank ya. Mighty kind of ya. But you know sometimes you miss out on fun if you take these." He said in an almost cat-demi-human manner, with his clawed hand replacing a cat paw as he seized the gift. The dark elf in the room had also thrown glances at him, he had addressed 'Lord Norkas' as 'Umber'. That made Zelginn ponder, even in a visual manner. His hand under his chin and the other scratching his neck.

"Umber? Oh I see!" He said in a ponderous manner, slamming one of his hands into the other, looking between the winged woman and the dark elf. "But I bet mister Umber isn't gonna need any dark elves for his meeting with the lady."

He smiled with his eyes narrowed abit, as if he just had remembered a fun story, his eyes wandered over Azriel before turning to look over at Xenelith. "I don't think he's speaking of that cat-lady, but his wife... maybe he is being nose... nostalgic." Zelginn said in normal tone to Azriel, so that Xenelith could potentially pick it up. "...oh maybe she's dead." Zelginn said as he scratched his cheek with one of his clawed fingers, looking from Xenelith and to Azriel again.

"Maybe things aren't quite what they seem after all..." He allowed his red eyes to lock with Azriel's, his lips forming a happy smile. "I'm sure Lord Umber will have lots of fun. Oh but did you know all the good things come in small packages. I'd bet mister Umber was really small once, really really small! But that must have been ages ago. You don't look THAT old." The small foxeared boy made a snapping sound with his fingers

Baraian Paladice

Time: Morning
Place: Shack

After having bypassed various people, they had finally arrived at the shack. Baraian had been uneasy, as if a heavy burden was weighing him down. The rash behviour at the marketplace was not something he was used to, but he knew how to stay dynamic and if something like that happened they had to make do with what they had. What he now hoped was that everyone got away. For the dark elf knew what happened with those which ended up in the governor's hands, they were never heard from again. But that itself wasn't the worst part, the worst part would be for that pompous self-important excuse of an elf to capture one of their own and try uncover Ra Monde. It would threaten the existance of the rebellion. Such must not happen.

Baraian was weary, his breathing heavy, the marketplace while not physically taxing on him, had caused a mental taxation on him. He thought he saw shadows on the building walls, he thought he could hear someone breathing down his neck. His heart was beating fast. It was most surely his own breath and shadow, playing tricks on him. The survival of the rebellion was dancing on the edge of a blade, one little mishap and they would all pay for it and there would be no way to win. Kuroi had removed his mask a short while after their arrival, it was the first time Baraian had seen the man under the mask. His appearance wasn't what Baraian would consider the typical amongst the demi-humans, then again his own appearance left much to be desired. Out of the two of them, Kuroi was most assuringly the more handsome.

"The man who attacked the governor was Regulus, one of our members. His way of doing things are sometimes abit too direct for my liking. Where his allegiance lies however, there is no doubt." The dark elf said, nodding softly in his monotone voice.

The floor was creaking and there were people walking past outside the shack, Baraian could hear breathing coming from Kuroi aswell. He figured that he too must be slightly nervous. The demi-human then proceeded to talk about the governor, and not in the most graceful way towards his person.

"I am neither a soldier or a martial artist, but I can see what you mean. There is a difference to someone who fights to live, and someone who lives to fight. I could have been a soldier myself, but after seeing just how cruel life in Daka can be I knew that wasn't my path. I chose a different path, one which will make certain of that this world will become a better place. That's why Ra Monde must remain a hidden for now." Baraian said in a sighing manner, as he lowered his hood revealing his white hair and braids. His braids were typically made by the children of Ra Monde when he was too tired to tell them no. It was also the quickest way bore them he thought. He took a final deep breath, the scent of something sweet in the air. What was that sweet smell? Honey cake? He could still hear heavy breathing, his eyes darted over to Kuroi, had he gotten that tired from the ordeal? Or was it just adrenaline? No. It wasn't him. And Kuroi looked like he had realized it did not come from Baraian.

The dark elf was about to turn around when beams of light penetrated his shoulder and he fell forwards to the floor, his left shoulder scorched in black matter. His right arm reaching to the dagger kept by his waist, then it stopped half-way there. By some unseen force pressing down on him. As it began to materialize, it came to them in fully white and silver.

"Oh there will be heads chopped off. I do seem to believe I have buisness with you after all. Ra Monde? Now what is that place? I'm sure you will tell me all about it when I extract it from you." A familiar and pious voice could be heard as the governor of the sun elves appeared out of nowhere in the shack they now found themselves in. His boot pressing down against Baraian's right arm to prevent the dark elf from defending himself. The governor, Terneus stood there in his prideful manner, his mirror-like weapon in hand, his breathing heavy from having to move so much faster than he was used to.

"Hnngn... Go! Get awa-" Baraian was saying through gritted teeth as he was being gracefully stepped on.

Terneus Andros

Time: Ouch time
Place: Where he should not be.

The centaur had evaded him, his knights had gotten lost in the crowd, but he had laid eyes on a suitable target to pin the blame on. A dark elf. That was perfect for political reasons, whereof he was guilty or not. To Terneus his reputation was at risk. No, this would be the day where Terneus, governor of the elves stood against assassins, incapacitating one and killing the other. There would be songs and books about his hardships, of his contributions to the elven race. Even if he now found himself in a dirty and run down shack, having followed the dark elf who had the gall to trip one of his knights. But it seemed he had a pale friend of the more beastly nature.

The governor couldn't help but mentally gag at the idea of possibly staining his clothes with beast blood. But he needed not two assassins alive, as it could imply that he was weak. No, one would be beheaded or hanged. The other would die on spot. The centaur creature would be found and sent to the mines after some... motivation. Despite the attempt on his life, things was looking up. He had everything to gain here, who cares if some of his knights got wounded. It wasn't about them or rebels anyways, it was about him and what he could get out of it. Terneus flaunted his mirror-like weapon in hand, as he pressed his boot down on the wounded dark elf on the old floor. Who knew that invisibility would be so handy? He began to almost blush at his own intellect and just how clever he was, there was truly no one in this world who could prove to outwit him. Now he had the two assassins, or were they? It mattered not! They would get the blame, and he would get the fame!

"You may plead for your life, but it won't help. Stand still and your death will be quick... you dirty beast. It's far more than what you deserve. Or do you truly delude yourself into believing you can fight ME? Don't bother, it is nothing personal towards you. It is all about me after all. I do not know if you had a part in that crude attempt on my Life, but frankly I do not care. Ahah. Now... hold still so I can swat you." The elf extended his mirror with his right hand and moved his left hand behind it, then unleashed a barrage of beams of light towards Kuroi, intent on killing the pestersome 'beast' before he would get close enough to stain his regal garment. The shack was old, its roof and walls were weathertorn and feeble compared to many of the buildings, there was however some area which could be used for dodging. There was also a table, chairs and some other furniture about which could provide hinderances.

The governor however, even with a honeycake stained attire was convinced that this would be dealt with smoothly and without any complications. How could he possibly be wrong?

BGM: Kuroi's Conviction

Kuroi sat there, gripping his mask with one of his hands as the other protectively went to his waist upon seeing the lovely pompous bastard come into the old shack uninvited. As he stood up, he found himself the target for a barrage of light beams coming his way, forcing him to act.

The vulpine immediately dived towards the nearest piece of furniture that would provide cover - a round table. Letting his left hand catch him from falling on his face, he used his right arm to roll on his shoulder and came up standing. He toppled the table over quickly and drew both of his metallic fans, both spread out and as sharp as ever. He pointed his left hand towards the governor and bared his fangs at him, "You dare attack one of your most important military asset? I'm sure one as self-proclaimed as you have heard of the name 'Usagi' at least once in his pompous life. You come in here with such undeserved pride and arrogance despite having the combat prowess of a mere kit!" Kuroi cursed out, spitting at Terneus' feet. "I suggest you lay down your arms and walk out of here lest I talk to dear old mother about stopping the training for your little platoon outside. After all, we wouldn't want to take away what little training your so-called 'special' troops have, now do we?" He continues, grimacing at the elf.

Kuroi stared down at his opponent, certain that within a few seconds he could meet the edge of blades up against the elf's throat. It was clear that the young duelist was absolutely appalled by the cowardly being that stood before him.

This type of behavior and egotistical aura around the elf made Kuroi snap.

Hard.

"Consider your options careful my cowardly governor. One, the son of the woman who is in charge of the entire city's military has the power to cease the training of all your troops. Two, if blood is spilled, our own political power will be used against you. Three, if my blood is, by some ungodly intervention, is spilled here, mother will take on the cowl of the most proficient assassin you have ever laid eyes on. I guarantee you that the worst option you pick here today is death. The best? Your poor ego is crushed by a man who is significantly better than you."

The vulpine let out a loud exhale before finishing his barrage of threats, "Consider wisely what you are about to do. Step away and leave the shack, or you are free to beg for my forgiveness, tool. I imagine one as 'wise' as yourself would not dare strip the city of its army."

Kuroi stared at the governor, his eyes gleaming conviction and intent to follow through with any physical and/or political option. Based on his demeanor and the sudden stance he lowered himself into, it was clear that Terneus would either face a loss of political power, a loss of his ego, or his own life; be it by Kuroi's or his own mother's hands.

"Choose, pompous wretch."

He had missed? There was simply no way that disgusting beastman had evaded his magic. It would require skills, which the governor thought was unavailable to what he considered to be lower standings of life. It must have been a mistake by his own hand, maybe he got something in his eye. To admit that the beast had been swifter than his hand of justice, now that was beyond all form of reason for the elf. The vulpine, or the beast as Terneus would address all of the demi-human species had taken cover behind a round table in the room. Then he had drawn some form of fans, Terneus knew fans like this. It was used by servants to fan his form when he was too warm from working too hard. And the populace surely knew that already as he was a busy man. The vulpine however did address him in a very arrogant sounding tone, well to Terneus ears it surely were.

"My most important military asset? What are you? A jester? I cannot memorize every name, especially not names for beasts! I have seen fans like those amongst my servants, do you think that is going to deter someone of my magnitude, of my magnificence? You know nothing of pride, you lice ridden infested rat! How dare you address me in such a manner!" The elf snarled as he pressed his boot down against Baraian's arm, veins starting to become visible on the elf's forehead. This creature, as far as he knew, was getting on his nerves. Even though Terneus considered his patience vast and admirable, it had it's limits...

"Your mother? You think I care for an old beastly crone? My platoon? You foolish creature, do you really think I care for any life other than my own? They are expendable, they all are. I can find new servants... I don't care how many lesser beings that has to die in order for my ascension. As far as I care, this city can burn. Oh and if I do get you then I can certainly use you against your mother to remove her. Enjoy knowing that, you dirty peasant. As long as I can take the city's wealth, I don't care about beings of lesser worth. And I will. As easily as I can take your life. Ho ho ho..." He laughed in a mocking manner, fanning his face with his mirror.

"Better than me? You arrogant cretin! You speak of assassins, oh if they would only dare step up to me. I, the star which shine the brightest. They would pale in comparison to my radiance, just like you do with your mundane and inferior beastly skills. You are the wretch that's going to die here, not me. Certainly not me." He seemed to almost choke on a combination of amusement and a chuckle, as if he was mid-way eating a very expensive dish at the behalf of some poor starving peasants.

Terneus readied his mirror again, using his other hand behind it. "Farewell, beast. Better luck in your next life, pray that you will be born an elf..." Terneus mused as he targetted the table with his magic, intending on shooting it into oblivion with those beams of light, while he gave Baraian's arm a stomp with his boot to prevent him from interfering.

"Azriel. Do not fret. I will be fine. I will have the pleasure of being with Xenelith's vassals. Some may have committed acts as foul as our during this past week, so they may entertain even me. I thank you Xenelith. Perhaps we can compare our pleasures from today later. I may even show you what I do if I find the humans and the fools that hide then." A smooth snicker sounded in the minds of his companions. Then he focused his mental communication on Azriel. He wanted to pass on valuable information to his precious child. What she did with it was her choice and her consequence.

"Azriel…"

Umber walked away from the table and made his way to the exit in silence. He was surprised the fox lingered in the brothel, but perhaps it was in the creature's nature to pester and tip the cauldron over. Such mischievous creatures in lore. Perpetually finding trouble of some kind.

As the demon stepped outside, he winced and groaned at the high noon sun above him. Bringing the dark elf troops was a must indeed. The demon was powerful, but his exposure to the sun during this time of day weakened him heavily. It was a good thing he had at least feasted on the appetizing emotions inside. It gave him enough strength to float over the crowded city as opposed to walking. Sure, his path would be cleared by the fearful onlookers, but telekinetic levitation was preferred. He moved with haste to Xenelith's troops. He'd only need a handful at most. He was oddly determined... Perhaps the elusive Elsea was among them.

Time: Morning--->Afternoon
Location: Biralei residence--->Small inn in the city
Interaction: @princess Malachi @Inertia Rei @Potter Corvina

Once they were upstairs, Kenia moved to strip off the bed linens that the humans had slept in. She then proceeded to throw them into the fireplace. ”Cora could you light those on fire for me pretty please?” She asked the girl, wanting to get rid of as much of their scent as she could. That’s when a thought occurred to her, an idea that might be a little crazy, but could protect them in the long run. She’d need to make sure things were prepared before that happened, though, and she had to inform her father.

”As for what to pack make sure you pack all the clothes you’ve worn over the last week, we need to minimize the scent we leave behind. Then also grab any valuables you want to bring. When you’re done meet me downstairs in the foyer, you’ve got ten minutes. I’m also gonna need your help with something once you’re down their Cora.” With that she left to go grab her own stuff from her room along with any valuables she could sell to make sure they had enough money for things.

Meanwhile downstairs, Nym looked at Malachi in relief. ”Thank you Malachi, now go. We need to all be gone from here within twenty minutes.” And with that he left the male elf to go grab his own things. He would also instruct the servants to stay behind and care for the house, though he warned them that someone would surely come. While they promised to protect them, he didn’t want them doing anything that could risk their lives more than they were already. It was for this reason that he refused to tell anyone where he was going and he would even conceal the direction he would head. The less people knew the better.

Kenia came flying down the stairs, instructing every servant she came across to leave swiftly. They all needed to be out by the time they all left. She looked to her father, a sadness in her eyes. ”I’m going to do something to help keep us from being tracked. Can you make sure all the servants have gotten out?” Nym had been setting down his stuff when his daughter found him. He looked at her confused for a moment, but then the realization struck. He finally nodded and did as she said, realizing her plan would be safer for the servants than what his original plan was.

Kenia proceeded to gather all the oil for the lamps in her house and pour trails throughout the rooms, leading to the most flammable things. She even made a trail up the stairs to the rooms they had stayed in, knowing that anyone who saw what she was doing would now understand. She got to the hall with the portraits and took on brief moment to take a look at her children before bidding them farewell. These portraits had to burn with the rest of the house. She pulled that portrait along with the portrait of her parents off the wall and dragged them out to the foyer.

Within the next twenty minutes everyone was downstairs, ready to leave. Nym gave his final farewell to everyone before cloaking himself in his light magic, disappearing from view and not allowing anyone to see the direction he took. Kenia knew it was time to enact her plan and she turned to Corvina. ”Alright Cora, time for some training. I need you to light all of this on fire. Go crazy, don’t hold back. Show us what you can do. Destroy this house.” She instructed the girl, pointing to the portraits first and then the rest of the house. She then made sure everyone was outside and left the girl to unleash hell.

Once Cora had finished her task, Kenia decided to do her best to cloak their group from view as they left. She took one last look at the burning house before leaving it all behind. She knew that this would for sure mark her as a traitor, but she was willing to accept it at this point. This was her life now and she was linking her life to these three people with her. She would do what it took to protect them.

She was only able to keep up the illusion until they were out of the wealthy district, then she had to drop it from her and Malachi. She kept it on the two humans, though, more as a protection, but it took all of her focus. So the walk through the city was a rather quiet one.

They eventually stopped to find a bite to eat, making quick work of the meal before continuing on to find a place to stay. They were now all settling into a room at the small inn they found, Kenia feeling exceptionally exhausted and a little paranoid. She had been keeping her eyes open for any danger the entire way here, specifically watching for the fox boy. What she really wanted to do was get a drink, but it was too early in the day for that still. She needed to keep her senses about her for now until she was certain they were semi safe.

At the same time she wanted to try and help everyone relax a bit, knowing that the start of their day had been incredibly stressful. The humans deserved a little bit of fun. Perhaps that’s why she decided to suggest what she would. ”Well who wants to test out the elf ears a bit more and maybe have some fun exploring the city? We could go shopping, buy some new clothes if you all wanted?” She gave them all a smile, trying to lift their spirits a little. She hoped that keeping busy with something would also help distract her from her mind. The instant they settled down and did nothing is when she’d start thinking of her father and the dark thoughts would creep in. She had to keep that from happening.

O'Ner Faister

O'Ner was enjoying himself being surrounded by the beautiful woman around him, one of the woman pressed their mouth against his own. It was a experience he had not felt in a very long time. He deeply missed the warm sensation of kissing a woman, the sensation gave him goosebumps and made the hairs on his arms stand up. His arm wrapped around the woman shoulder to bring him closer towards him, Stopping what the woman and pouring himself a glass of wine. After he had poured his glass of wine relaxing back taking in the view of the woman that tingled his funny bone, Sipping his wine and taking the time to swish it around in his mouth before finally finish drinking it.

The pleasures of flesh and alcohol soon evaporated, Realizing that all of this was shallow and meant nothing to him. It was all hallow with the woman being nothing more then bags of flesh, The wine seemed to taste like ash inside of his mouth. Putting down the wine glass on the table in front of him, Pushing away the woman and standing up. Walking towards the front door and out of building, As he left transforming back into his true form.

Feeling relived that he was back to normal, Scanning his empty eye sockets to his surrounding area. Looking over at Umber but not feeling the need to speak to him. He wondered when they would leave this place and get back to the task at hand, All of this was just a unnecessary hurdle that could have been avoided. He was much more concerned about collecting those rare flowers then being in a bar/brothel.

Elsea and Kyran had both seemed to notice her tearing up, so she sniffled and wiped her tears hastily. "Elthrael seemed to be confessing love to me possibly this morning in the most peculiar way, much too affectionate with his hands. It confused me a lot since I have not seen him so long nor did I know him much... but I guess part of me attached to it anyway. I guess he was lying, he didn't even say goodbye." She moved her utensil around her custard as she spoke.

Risa worried she was being selfish and delaying her meal. She had been foolish to put so much weight on this. It was best dropped. "I don't want to keep you all from eating." Risa tried to push her feelings back and began to eat her food, but her the wheels of her brain kept turning. If he was exiled from the River Kingdom, had he been lying about being from somewhere different where they kissed in greeting? Risa furrowed her brows, feeling mixed emotions. She rushed her meal and began to take out Amas from her pouch to pay for everyone.

TIME: Morning -> Noon
LOCATION: Roshmi City
INTERACTIONS: Ayita @13org, Cadence @Helo, Ilan @dreamingflowers

"Hmph. You've barely gotten a glimpse of what I can do, Cadence. Go and look for toys that suit your barbaric needs while I do some exploring myself." Sakura teased back at him with a smirk. She was indeed very hungry but she doesn't want to be seen as haughty, so she decided to just go with the flow and take a look at the displays.

They were very different from the type of weaponry used in Daka Island. These weapons were diverse as some looked like they could only be fully utilized by an expert who knew how they worked, while most were quite simple in design; one look at them and anyone could tell what they were and what they could do when used in battle.

Sakura exhaled. While Cadence and Ayita looked around the weapon shop and gushed about these sharp metals on wooden sticks, the demoness twirled her flower-adorned parasol as she was bored right out of her mind. She switched her weight on one foot and another while suppressing the urge to do things to pass the time, which in her terms meant using her magic to mess with a random creature she could chance upon. She was never really a big fan of weaponry like these, but she could be more interested in a weapon if it could channel magic and it looked like the weapons here were made only for ordinary fighters and hunters: the normal commonfolk.

Master... She heard child-like whispers that came from the back of her head, and the demoness smiled. Finally, something to distract her from boredom. She could sense that they were done with their missions. She picked up one of the daggers in display and held it so she could see her reflection in the blade. Her face was then changed as the terrifying Masks of Zaturna were looking back at her.

Wonderful work, you too. Proceed to the rendezvous point and begin Phase 2. She said to them in her mind. The two children nodded and their reflections disappeared. To the random folk, it looked like Sakura was just being vain by admiring herself in the blade's reflection before putting it back down. She then glanced towards Ayita that showed child-like excitement upon testing and finally buying weapons that suited her taste. Sakura forgot how easily impressed Ayita was. Was living on her world that boring that a simple tomahawk easily impressed her?

Just then, Sakura shifted her attention to the commotion going on the other side of the market. She couldn't really understand what the chaos was all about, but she guessed it had something to do with that faun with his musical instrument, a regal-looking elf, and a centaur.

Sakura shrugged when Cade suggested on making friends with the centaur and Ayita asking on how to approach them. "Couldn't we just make friends with a friendlier individual rather than someone who just pissed off a very important-looking elf? I don't want to get involved with the affairs of this city, and it's better for our safety if we steer clear out of trouble altogether." Sakura suggested. Besides, she couldn't risk being found out as one of Aklenroth's most powerful agents that was here at Roshmi City mingling with a human.

Then, just as soon as Sakura said those words, the centaur and the faun decided to approach their trio. After all, Sakura was a demon and trouble always followed demons wherever they go.

The centaur complimented Cade's halberd and of course, the feline demi-human felt very proud of that. The centaur's newfound companion, the faun, was a little timider as he complemented Sakura's parasol. Sakura just smiled sweetly at the faun. "Why thank you, dear faun, how very kind of you. I am Sakura Shinibana but you can call me Sakura, and these are my friends, Cade and Ayita." She pointed at both of them before bowing in greeting to the faun. "And you are...?"

A look of pure shock and horror crossed over Elsea’s face as Risa explained what had happened earlier that morning. Then anger began to take over and part of her wished she wouldn’t have extinguished the fire she’d started in his lap. ”What that little good for nothing…” She began, trying to find the right words to fit what she was feeling. ”MHAC NA GALLA!” She ended up shouting in Gaelic, but then took a breath as she realized she may attract some unwanted attention. ”Risa I’m so sorry he did that to you, but if you can please try to put him out of your mind. He’s nothing but a liar. He did the same damn thing to me. He’s nothing but a skirt-chasing blaggard.” She told her, calmer than before, but the anger was still evident. She took a bite of her food, trying to show Risa that her appetite hadn’t been ruined at all, but it seemed to be quite the angry motion as she grumbled a few more curse words.

After a few moments she felt even calmer and decided to speak again. ”Let’s go shopping and forget all about that deceiving fairy shall we?” She gave Risa her brightest and happiest smile after having finished her meal. She also took a brief moment to glance at Kyran, trying to give him a look that pleaded for him to keep his cool as best he could. She knew she had lost it and wouldn’t be surprised if he did as well, if not more so, but right now they needed to get Risa in a better mood.

Time: Noon
Place: Old graveyard in Roshmi

Ambiance: youtube.com/watch?v=8fCOXOO7Iz0

The view from the old withered tree had not yielded any interesting sights. To look for new clothing, how was that a priority? He shook his head softly and tightened his lips to the point he was biting down slightly on his lower lip, concealing a chuckle. The folly of the young, he knew of it quite well. As he had been young once aswell, but that felt like a lifetime past. His mentor had taught him well to cast away weaknesses and become a proper force to be reckoned with. Yes, he could remember it as if it had been yesterday. But it felt like a lifetime past...

He allowed his mind to traverse back into the past.

A memory, of a time other than now, to a place other than here.

Elthrael allowed a smirk to decorate his face as he began to speak in a low tone of voice. "Watch from wherever you are my mentor, watch as I will claim it all..."

Ayita smiled as Cade mentioned the weapons being merely a gift and a payment for the stories from her world she told Cade about on their travels. She was happy that Cade thought of her as more than merely friends. From his words, the unspoken bond between them became clear to Ayita as well. They were indeed more than just friends. After all, they were fighting for the same cause.

Regarding her question on how to approach the Faun and the Centaur though, Cade merely whispered that Avalia itself would help them. Surprisingly enough, the words he said did appeared to be more than mere words, as it was the centaur who approached them first, praising Cade's weapon. Not only the centaur, but the faun too approached them, interested by Sakura's parasol, mentioning how pretty it was.

Before introducing himself, Cade mentioned that the centaur had good eyes, asking how he could miss his target earlier in a not so discreet statement, indicating that he not only saw what happened but knew that he missed on purpose. Knowing that those words would also make it clear to the centaur he was also a warrior and wasn't carrying that halberd just for show, that might make it easier for them to approach and befriend them.

Even though Ayita was glad to make more allies, she couldn't help but think that Sakura indeed had a point on the words she spoke. The faun and the centaur indeed had a... situation... going on with the local authorities. If they weren't careful, they could be dragged to their problem, whatever it was, as well...

"It is a pleasure to meet you both." Ayita said, looking to both strangers with a smile after Sakura introduced her to the Faun.

"I'm Ayita, It's a pleasure to meet you." she said, greeting both of them.

Even though Kol and Darius began talking about Darius' powers, Myra was too distracted, amazed by the snow and the huge mountains outside to pay much attention at them. She also noticed that even though she was inside the flying metal 'Amora' thing, the windows themselves were already cold to the touch, indicating that maybe Darius wasn't just worrying over nothing. The cold did really seem it would be rather intense. While Myra could easily maintain her bodily temperature by moving herself, having the coat would make it more comfortable for her and despite it being uncomfortably heavy, she was now a bit grateful for having it.

Upon arriving at their destination, Darius turned to Myra before he exited the Amora. He did mention that they could leave the coat inside the Amora if she wanted, but instead of immediately taking it off, she thought about it for a while. She quite obviously had a lot of energy to burn and was extremely curious. It wouldn't be that hard for her to maintain her temperature since she would keep moving without even having to think about it but Darius and Kol probably wouldn't like that much if she kept darting around from one place to another. Even though she considered leaving the coat behind, maybe taking it wasn't a bad idea as well...

It was then that a strange humming coming from the woods interrupted Myra's thoughts. She didn't know what it was but for some reason, Darius thought it sounded sad. Kol did seem to protest as he began walking towards the sound, but Darius was quick to ignore him, throwing the bag of shiny coins at him before he ran towards the sound, telling Myra to go ahead since she was faster.

Paying no attention at Kol, Myra immediately took off the cloak, just like Darius had taught her and left it inside the Amora before dashing to the same direction Darius went, surpassing him in no time as she kept going towards the source of the humming. Even though she was running further inside the woods, the only sounds that she made while running were almost imperceptible, leaving only her footprints behind. Her speed, coupled with her impeccably white fur, skin and hair made her almost impossible to spot, appearing as merely a white blur.

Jack had been in his own world for quite some time not really paying attention to his surroundings until noticed a young child-looking creature come into the brothel. ' Intriguing I have never seen a child enter a brothel in London. A child this peculiar-looking I would have never seen in London at all...' His mind pondered on what the boy’s organs were like as he did with most new species he had seen in Avalia. He did not bother to hone in on what he was saying to the group rather sticking to his own business and letting them deal with the situation. If they needed him, they would call on him personally. Jack continued drinking his wine and was a bit inebriated by this time as he was on his fourth glass. His drunken state eventually got to him and caused him to laugh at the child for no apparent reason.

Jack soon had been mentioned by Azriel offering some type of drug in which he refused to take part in the act. "My apologies, but I prefer to stay clear from untested drugs or things I am unaware of." Umber and O’Ner ended up taking their leave while Xenelith called upon his men to join them. He glanced upon those who remained and started laughing again. Jack suddenly without thinking looked down at the table before him seeing a plate of mushrooms to which he reached down and grabbed a handful before stuffing them in his mouth and swallowed them.
He was happy to enjoy some food as he was quite hungry. Jack was unaware of what he truly did but he had managed to eat 15 grams of Skaula which would kick in about 30 minutes.
