"You carried that conversation with the gracefulness of a fish out of water, but what could I have expected from a human." Castor would say as if disgusted by their masters lack of proper etiquette and unskilled conversation skills. Really he just disliked the scenario he was in, having to act as some hand and foot servant to a girl who lacked the ability to communicate with gusto, oh how it made him scowl in frustration. Likewise why on earth were they shopping for clothes anyway? His sister would look amazing in whatever they brought so such ideas as 'browsing' and 'trying on multiple outfits' were merely extravagance. The only reason he had even began to agree to this venture to begin with was to confirm an already known truth of his sister's divine beauty.

"Brother you need to carry yourself with more reservation. Master will never get better at speaking if you terrify her" Pollux would say appearing from one of the aisles as if to act as a saving grace to the conversation before Castor would light a fire. She would wave with courtesy towards Yuriko with a smile of hospitality to boot. "Besides brother, she just offered to feed us both and that would give you ample opportunity to criticise those that need it." She'd say with that overwhelming sisterly aura. Which got a annoyed hrumph out of her brother whom had resigned himself to just following his sister at this point, even with this fool of a master that so far wasn't doing much to make him like her at all.

Of course he probably shouldn't of resigned himself too early given Pollux had turned her attention away from their joint master and towards the person their master was talking to leaning over past their master. "And you fair-faced stranger perhaps you would like to join us for this meal as well so that you and my master can talk more in a more relaxed setting?" The divine sibling would say looking over the woman their master had talking to with the intrigue and fondness she held for humans in general.

Castor however had turned his gaze towards the strangers' servant. Obviously it was a heroic spirit from the age of man that much seemed certain but Castor had neglected caring for that age when he had become firm in his hatred and yet deep down in his instinctual nature, something about the child's innocence seemed tainted. He most certainly couldn't shirk joining the meal now if there was another heroic spirit in such close proximity to his sister.

"So are we going to eat or what." Castor would say not wanting to stand in this clothes shop longer then he had to.

Mana

"My Otaku goods aren't cringy!" Mana replied in a slight bit of irritation. "A-and I'm not a JK!" She complained. This was anything but an ideal situation for her. She stuttered a few indications of disapproval to the fox but of course it didn't help her one way or another. The price tags... Left her in utter shock as she looked in Suzuka's direction to avoid the prices. What could she get for those instead!? Way too much! "S-suzuka! I d-don't think..." She was trying to interrupt the fox but noticed she got distracted by... Another servant? Mana wanted to say that she looked too odd not to be, but... In a city of mages, it took all types.

Then Suzuka started to talk again and piling clothes in her arms. Expensive, expensive, expensive!? Why did she pick so much expensive stuff!? And those jeans were torn!? Why were they so expensive?! Out of the things Suzuka picked, the Sundress was the best and that was only because the other two were torn pants and a school uniform! She already had one of those at home that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Mana was not sure about what to say at all. Her mouth just stuttered a bit, trying to figure out the words she attempted to use. "S-suzuka...!" She akwardly managed to voice. "T-those jeans already have holes in them! W-why would I wear pants that are beyond frayed!? A-and I already have a school uniform!" She managed, keenly ignoring to comment on the sundress as she had nothing to complain about besides price and she was pretty sure her Black Card was forfeit at this point.

Saber - Benienma

On sight of the burgers, Benienma had become quite distracted. While they certainly had maintained their good qualities... there was still plenty of things for the diminutive enma to talk to the cooks about.

"Master, I shall return in a moment dechi. There are important matters I must attend to dechi."

Reminding herself to seek out Suzuka and introduce her to remedial lessons at some point in the near future, Benienma vanished into the kitchen before anyone would be able to stop her.

Among those who were dining at the restaurant(many of which had been quite distracted by the site of a little redheaded girl disappearing into the back before a single person could even react enough to prevent it), one notable patron was a child, a young girl no older than nine.

While she was not incredibly famous, those familiar with the ins and outs of the city would likely recognize her after a few moments.

Tsugihara Amelia was a young girl born from the union of two very recently-created mage families. They had not expected to summon a Servant, but they had expected their daughter to learn quite a bit in a city full of magecraft.

It was difficult to separate a Servant from a child once they had been summoned.

While Amelia's Servant was not currently present(she had been asked to run an errand for the moment), those who worked in the CCF or had knowledge about the town might pay passing notice to her.

And thus they would likely notice, even though she was in a relatively crowded spot in the building, when she suddenly dropped the drink she'd been holding... and seemed to vanish. Anyone who hadn't been looking at her at all, who had never noticed her in the first place, would most likely miss this happened at all...

... But those who had noticed her presence whatsoever... would see a hazy shape, one hand over the unconscious young girl's mouth, swiftly departing from the restaurant...

Kishinami Hakuno

Hakuno could never have dreamed that a simple visit to a fast-food restaurant could be so... draining. With so much happening around her, all she could do was slump in her seat beside the beautiful Caster, idly wondering how she planned to eat what appeared to be a feast for hundreds of guests. Just looking at the mountain of junk food, Hakuno couldn't decide if it made her hungrier or squeamish.

"Ah...? Oh, uh, no Saber, don't..." she could barely manage a token resistance to what Beni obviously planned to do, and offered a silent prayer to those poor cooks that would no doubt suffer (albeit well-intentioned) lengthy lectures on how they prepared the food. She glanced once more at Kaguya's mountain of food, wondering if she'd be willing to spare a burger before deciding against it. Propping her elbows on the table, she cast her eyes to the restaurant at large, eventually pausing on a vaguely-familiar young girl.

Ah, that was that girl she'd heard about! Uh... Tsugihara, right? She already had a Servant despite her young age, and although Hakuno had never met her before, she'd been briefed on this girl at some point, as had pretty much everyone else at the CCF, to her knowledge. Hakuno had been about to return to aimless people-watching when Tsugihara Amelia when something shocking happened.

It had only been a second or two, yet a strange, hazy shape seemed to engulf the small girl, and suddenly whisk her away without attracting any attention. So many questions raced through the young Master's mind. Was that Tsugihara's Servant? Why had no one noticed? Why was she sitting there instead of doing anything?

Hakuno bounced to her feet, disturbing the table as she scrambled towards the restaurant's exit. She had to catch them before they got too far, but if that thing was a Servant...
"Saber!" Hakuno yelled as she barrelled through the door, quickly scanning for the hazy abductor and the unconscious girl. Benienma was swift, and had ways to quickly search the city. Even if this thing had managed to disappear from her sight immediately, Hakuno could trust her Servant to quickly find the trail once more.

Kaguya-hime

Having been eating the different burgers, with a complete disregard for matters such as "keeping to a human pace for such things", the Caster was not paying close attention to everyone in the room. A lack of close attention, though, was still enough to spot something like a girl being there one second and dragged off the next. Really, who tried to mount an abduction like that where Servants were around...? Somebody was going to spot you.

That "someone" didn't seem to be a Servant, however, but the bird's entertainingly infatuated Master, who was a lot more vulnerable. It would be bad to let her get into trouble and it shouldn't take too long; her food was probably going to be fine anyway... and Kaguya followed her outside.

The first thing to do was to slow down the abductor, maybe then they could be caught right here and now. More physical Servants might have gone for a pursuit. In the right scenario, Kaguya might have broken with her own upbringing and shown off like that. Instead, she put to use the ability that had made her Caster, hands raised and then drawn inwards...

It was fairly unlikely that the hazy figure was expecting the air itself to slam into them; a sudden and very localised gale forming a wall of wind to impede their progress.

Ritsuko Fujimaru

Ritsuko really should've done something. She should've at least shouted some words of encouragement, or rushed to help the hostages, or at least tried to throw a suckerpunch at the criminals... Well maybe not that last one, but still. She really should've done more than stand there slackjawed, gazing in amazement at her Servant.

So it kind of bugged her that she was doing exactly that, really. But this was the first time she'd seen Saber fight, and... It wasn't exactly what she expected. She was thinking that a knight would be more... Brutal and inelegant, but the way Saber moved was almost like an elaborately coreographed dance. Or at least one where the lead dancer wielded a huge sword and sliced apart the other dancers. So not entirely like a dance, really. But still, watching her fight was almost hypnotic...

Saotome Hana

The girl, now finally getting a chance to catch her breath--and gratefully gulping down the offered drink--shot her Servant a dirty look as she released... whatever his name was. Sure, she wasn't particularly social or outgoing but she wasn't so totally blind to reality that she thought literally throwing yourself at someone was a great way to get anywhere romantically. And did she really think so little of Hana that she'd aspire to just... this? He was pretty average, really; if she wanted to try the direct route there was bound to be someone better looking around... the Servant, maybe? Or maybe there was some better guy around. Or Berserker, if she didn't marry that impressive stature with a lethally workaholic attitude.

"Berserker here thought dragging me out to try and run ten miles was a good warmup... I just wanted to watch cooking shows..."

Though undermining the validity of her own objection by indicating she would have done nothing otherwise probably didn't help.

Uehara Mitsuki

"Well, I'm not sure if something like that would count as having a way with words," Mitsuki responded, shrugging he shoulders as he thanked Archer for the drinks she had purchased for the three of them. Given that he had forgotten to get one back at the pizzeria, this was greatly appreciated.

"In any case... While I do think that a little exercise now and then is fine, ten miles is a bit more than a warmup, isn't it?" he followed, turning expectantly towards the Berserker in question with a bit of disapproval before looking back at the woman on the bench. "I'm more surprised you weren't more vocal in trying to stop her, though; actually, it might be a bit more impressive that you decided to go along with the run despite knowing it'd be ten miles and not just tapping out..."

Of course, the admission that the alternative was watching cooking shows wasn't much better, but it wasn't like he was in any place to judge how people spent their days off. There were probably better things to do than spend the day watching TV, in his eyes, but even if they were dragged along for the ride...

"Actually, now I'm curious; how close to that goal were you? It'd probably work as something as a baseline for the future so you don't end up this winded again..."

Alter Ego — Meltryllis

The Alter Ego simply responded with a noncommittal shrug as her Master asked for clarification on her comment. Really, it didn't matter how she took it; compliment or not, her opinion wouldn't change. There was most definitely something that irritated Meltryllis on a deeper level about seeing the other pair together, carefree as they were, and given the Saber's reaction, it was almost certain that the feeling was mutual.

Of course, there was a part of her that wanted to take a jab at the duo that had caught her ire, and given the situation...

Actually, that didn't seem like it was that bad of an idea, once she considered it for a moment.

"Oh, it's nothing, really; I'm simply of the opinion that you'd actually be able to keep up with me if you tried, if only barely. If you think about it, a Master who isn't a sitting duck is far more preferable to one who is, even if I do have qualms about your brashness," she responded, just loud enough to catch the attention of the two being rushed away from them. "Of course, that means trimming a bit of excess fat once that arm of yours heals, but given how much I feel we'll be moving about this city, I don't suppose that'll be too much of a problem."

It was probably a bit too obvious, but given how little that fox tried to think on a daily basis (at least, from her perspective), something this low was necessary to get a rise out of her. It could just as easily fly over their heads, of course, but that wouldn't do anyone any favors at this point.

Burger Wham

The sudden gust of wind in the face of the would-be abductor caused them to pause for a moment, and though they were still quite invisible to the usual bystander, their body was most certainly still corporeal. The faded outline could still be made out off to the side of the crowded street, away from where the people walked to and fro in front of the fast food's entrance, one arm carrying what appeared to be the child in question while the other held their arm against the wind. Of course, the wind had the added effect of causing a few others to be stalled by its sudden appearance, which made more that a few pause in mild confusion with regards to what had happened in the first place.

Of course, the kidnapper would only be deterred for so long, and pushing against the wind, they forced their way through (pushing more than a few of the stalled pedestrians aside in the process) as they slipped into a nearby alleyway. It would be harder to make them out in the darkness, after all, and by now there was the distinct possibility that they had slipped up in their execution and that someone was already onto them...

Jewelry Store

Though one of the Shadow Servants had been summarily routed, the other was still functional (though apparently wounded, given how much damage had been done to what it had crashed into)—or, at the very least, functional enough to get back up after taking the blow. There was no way to actually make sense of what injuries it had proper, given the way it looked, but the fact that it was able to take up a battle stance despite that meant that it still had more than enough energy left in it to follow through.

Rather than follow through with the folly of the other Shadow Servant that had fallen, though, this one wasted no time in shifting its attention towards the girl who was left slack-jawed at her Servant's performance. The people on the floor were of minimal issue, but the main goal of the Shadow Servant was to act as a diversion. That much, at least, was obvious.

As the thieves quickly funneled out of the back door, the Shadow Servant kicked itself off the ground, barreling towards the redheaded girl without any regard for its own safety, sword at the ready.

Yuriko T. Louvyngyr

Ah... the somewhat retiring girl had been a bit overwhelmed. Yuriko kicked herself mentally. She should know better, she hadn't wanted to distress her in any way. But the desire to present herself as charming had been a bit too strong... Perhaps it had been for the best, she clearly wasn't on her game today if she'd done something so foolish in the first place(even if it was disappointing) and a part of her had to remind herself that her Servant was likely not the best at understanding just what she was doing anyway. For Jack's sake, maybe it was better to-

It was at that moment that the beautiful girl(ah, approaching her was almost tempting as well but even someone who was as girl-hungry as Yuriko was able to occasionally comprehend the idea of restraint) among Charlotte's two Servants came up with an excellent proposal. To simply have lunch together. That was a fantastic idea! A bit of a reset, she could simply talk to the other girl about fashion! Not only was it rather effective in getting to know her, but it was also a conversation she could involve Jack in. After all, her Servant wanted to look cute and wear cute clothing, right?

"I apologize for being a bit too overbearing," she commented, scratching the back of her head, "But I would like to go to lunch. Perhaps we could share fashion tips? I think we both want our Servants to look their best, as well. I for one like to show my appreciation for Jack by making sure she looks her cutest when we're out."

@1Charak2@Rune_Alchemist@Raineh Daze

Saber - Arturia Pendragon

There was no time to pause or attempt to pursue the thieves, as the shade that Arturia had knocked into the nearby display case had already gotten up and begun to move. So it felt no pain, it didn't comprehend anything but the purpose it had been given.

It was shameful.

To use even the shadow of a Servant to simply cover one's retreat from committing a crime... that, too, was a crime in and of itself. It was a crime towards the heroic spirit, towards whatever figure stood at the core of the legend. To besmirch their honor by using even a fraction of themselves for such a purpose, for such petty act of theft...

There was no way the King of Knights could accept such a thing.

The shade had lunged towards her Master, sword at the ready...!

But it would never make it to her. As it had begun to move, so to had the blonde Saber-class Servant, swiftly clearing the small amount of distance between herself and the hazy, shadowy figure, her sword sheathed in Invisible Air shimmering behind her. She cleared the distance in an instant.

The single-minded assault the shade had launched made it incapable of any attempt to halt its own demise. The tip of her weapon pierced its body from the side, and her momentum carried the both of them forward.

The shadow slammed into the wall, as the hilt of Arturia's sword met its body and the blade exited through the opposite side.

"Master, are you unhurt?" she asked, as she drew her sword from the shadow, watching it crumple to the floor with a spurt of blood before slowly vanishing, "As long as you are well, I must pursue those criminals!"

@Rin@PKMNB0Y

Saber - Benienma

Her Master's voice... and it sounded urgent.

There was no time to proceed with her lecture.

Benienma turned on her heel and sprang from the back room. As she moved, red sparks flowed from her body, her clothing vanishing, replaced with a remarkably elegant red and green kimono, feathers woven into the sleeves to give the diminutive enma a set of wings. Black armor formed on her lower legs, over her knee-length socks, black platform geta on her feet. On the redheaded girl's hip, a katana in a golden sheath materialized just as swiftly.

Needless to say, a Servant suddenly readying herself for combat as she shot through the restaurant like a bullet was going to cause quite a stir.

But there wasn't any time to dwell on that!

In an instant, Benienma was at her Master's side. Before she even had a full picture of the situation, she had already sent her sparrows to fan out over the local area and report any strange activity back immediately. Given whatever had happened wasn't immediately clear, it was possible that the perpetrator had fled, or the situation had moved. Therefore, covering as much area as possible to ensure things didn't get out of hand was the best choice even before she knew the whole story!

"Benienma is here, Masta!" declared the redheaded Servant, "What's going on?!"

Mana

Mana was expecting a sharp remark from Suzuka but instead she felt a sharp gaze at the back of her head. She took a small peak back at the odd servant? girl. She could definitely hear her... Master who could keep up? Master who isn't a sitting duck? Was... Was she being called out by some servant she never knew? That... That was the sort of thing she was worried about happening at school. People talking about her like this. She just thought if she kept to herself nothing like this would happen. She shivered a little bit. For a second, it was difficult to breath. She opened her mouth to speak but.... Nothing. This took Mana by surprise and she worked to push some words out.

".... I..." She managed to push out, "I-I.... B-bathroom." She mentioned, her hands shaking a small bit, though apparently enough to make her drop the clothes. Some onto Suzuka's arm and the rest on to the floor. The girl bit her lower lip and passed by Suzuka. If the fox was keen enough, she'd notice a small tear forming at the corner of her master's eye. She made a straight shot for the bathroom, head tilted down. She cut someone off as they were entering the store, not bothering to apologize or not noticing. Soon enough, she disappeared into the woman's restroom.

~Suzuka~

@Pyromania99@VitaVitaAR@PKMNB0Y

"Like, c'mon master your uniform is soooo totally last season." Suzuka grinned. "And don't worry about not having any underwear either-"

The servant stopped mid sentence, obviously having heard Melt's comment. Did Mana hear it? A quick look at her master was all she needed to know. Before Suzuka could even say anything otherwise, Mana had bolted off to the bathroom. Like, the only one who could tease her master was her, and she'd never do it to the point where Mana would actually feel uncomfortable.

"Yanno," Suzuka turned towards the other pair. "I just wanted to enjoy a girls day out with master. First Beni-sensei and now some anorexic ballerina shows up." She flashed the pair a predatory grin. "Totally uncute, too. I bet your master is totes put out by having some freaky thing like you around. Guess she shouldn't be surprised though, like, she looks totally as useless as your hands do."

There was a little nagging feeling that she might should go check on Mana, but she was more pissed off at this servant at the moment.

Goddamn it Pollux.

Charlotte closed her eyes, holding a hand to her glasses, trying to hold in a long, drawn out sigh. She wanted to refuse and just leave, but she was already out and she did just rudely renege on an offer. Not that she cared but...

"...do what you want. I won't stop you." She replied curtly, casting a glance over to Castor. "And that is a choice I make. I don't care for idle chatter." That left the question of where they were going to eat...well, if this Yuriko wanted to come along, might as well let her or her servants choose then. She didn't have much of a preference as long as it wasn't something greasy or fast food, but even then she could tolerate it. "I don't suppose any of you have some idea of what you want?"

Mihama Nanako

That was uncalled for.

Meltryllis's comments on the girl and her fox-eared Servant were really uncalled for. Sure, the girl... looked like she didn't get out much(Nanako felt a little self-conscious herself, had she gained weight like Meltryllis implied?) but that didn't mean she needed to be targeted. Besides, it wasn't like she looked particularly unhealthy or anything... just like she could use a little sun and exercise. And it definitely wasn't okay to go after her like that!

Nanako felt like she had to intervene, and that she had to intervene quickly, even if it meant making Melt a little annoyed. Especially after the girl ran into the bathroom, clearly very upset...

Meltryllis was her Servant, and Nanako wanted to close the distance between them and foster growth in their relationship, but that didn't mean she'd just stand by if the Alter Ego did something uncalled for like that.

"... Meltryllis-san, was that really necessary?" she began, with a frown, "There was no reason to send that gi-"

She paused.

The fox servant had spoken, now...

"... Are you serious? Just because she made some uncalled-for comments doesn't mean you should come back with something like that," said the brunette, indignation rising in her heart. She was the type of person who prided herself on trying to get along with everyone, and didn't want to hurt people if she could help it. But... but saying something like that about Meltryllis's hands...

She couldn't tolerate that. She couldn't accept it. Not only that, but being targeted herself... If the comments had only been directed at her, then it would have been one thing. But mocking Meltryllis's hands...

"That's not okay, no matter what Meltryllis-san said. Shouldn't you be going to see how your Master is doing, anyway?"

Alter Ego — Meltryllis

There was a somewhat snide smile on Meltryllis' face as she watched the Saber's Master leave the area in a haste, her eyes following the girl in mild amusement before her Master attempted to intervene in her fun. Before she could casually brush off the accusation like she had considered, though, Suzuka had come over and brazenly insulted the both of them with no hesitation.

It was one thing to insult her, of course, and it was a given that she would retaliate in turn, but insulting her Master like that...

"Hmph. Well, I suppose that if your own excuse for a Master took my words as an insult to herself, then maybe she's the one at fault here. I only spoke to my own, after all, so I don't get why you're trying to heap the blame onto me," she responded, leaning forward and glaring right into the Saber's eyes. "Of course, if I was you, I'd already be feeling embarrassed. Forget causing a scene here like you are now—imagine having to fake being an idiot because you couldn't bear to be seen next to someone like that without putting on an act. That fake schoolgirl act would be amusing if it wasn't so pitiful to begin with."

With that, the Alter Ego straightened her back, and, looking down upon Suzuka for a moment, turned back towards her Master with a smile.

"But I suppose that a rabid animal has no use for knowledge in the first place. With all that yapping, even a saint would want to put it down. Don't you think so, too?"

Really, as irritated as she was, seeing that Saber so riled up also lit a fire in her heart; this was fun, and there was no point denying that fact.

Kishinami Hakuno

Caster's aide was most certainly welcome, her wind spell stalling the abductor for just a moment. Even as Hakuno tried to close the distance, the strange figure was able to slip away from the street, apparently retreating into an alley. Following his exact movements would have been difficult if he hadn't bumped into a few people, and while he should now be out of the way of too many bystanders, Hakuno didn't like the idea of following them into a space that could leave them disadvantageous. Unfortunately, the only option she could allow was to pursue, as long as that girl was in danger.

Thankfully, Benienma was already at her side. Hakuno pointed to the alleyway, leaving the full details for later, "it's a kidnapping! They went that way, Saber! Watch out, they seem to be hiding their presence somehow!"

Hakuno turned towards the beautiful Caster once more, trying to calmly decide the best course of action. She didn't like dragging members of the public into any kind of trouble, even if they were Servants, but a little girl was in trouble...

"Caster, can I ask you to assist us and support Saber?"

-----------------------

Berserker - "Guan Yu"

With the offered drink in hand, Berserker's cheeks were colouring rapidly colouring as she calmed down. That strange outburst had gotten her a strange look from her Master, and it seemed she had completely misread the situation in her surprise. Aaahhh, how embarrassing... but still, that totally could have been a valid interpretation of events! Like... her Master, having been awakened to the wonders of physical activity, felt the need to share her happin- nope, no more falling down that rabbit hole!

After roughly shaking her head, the Berserker was almost sulking as she averted her eyes, feeling the need to defend herself, "...I-I mean... ten miles is a warm-up... b-back home, it was..."
Comparing herself to her father and brothers, Berserker tended to completely fail to realise that, just because her family were even more superhuman in life, her ability to keep up with them said a lot about her own talents, leaving her perception of human ability slightly skewed as a Servant.

Taking a sip of the drink, Guan froze when the young man asked just how far they had gotten. Thinking back on the distance covered... well...

The Servant decided the best course of action was to continue drinking and avoid addressing the question altogether.

Kaguya-Hime

"I suppose if you ask so nicely," the Caster said, turning an eye to the dark alleyway and starting to walk down. Such an amusing girl, working hard to resist her charms and rushing off to be heroic. Spending another few minutes just finding this would-be kidnapper before getting back to her food... that would be no problem at all. Did they really think that the darkness and the invisibility was enough?

Before, they had been quite camouflaged by the mass of people and the smells of Burger Wham; picking out precisely who the kidnapper was would simply be too difficult, especially with Kaguya not paying particular attention. Down here in this dark ally, though, there wasn't anyone else aside from the target and abductee to get mixed up with, only one person so very human, alive, and warm, and full of blood, and not a child.

And their shoulder should be somewhere about... there.

Of course, grabbing shady invisible people in dark alleys wasn't the safest thing to do. How fast could they be, though?

Saotome Hana

"Ten miles isn't a warmup to anyone now except fitness nuts and monsters!" Hana insisted, having recovered her indignation and breath all at once, "It's not like I had a chance to say no before I was dragged out here..."

Really, she didn't know how far they had gotten either? Particularly not with Berserker setting the pace for her...

~Suzuka~

@Pyromania99@VitaVitaAR@PKMNB0Y

This.

Freaky looking bitch.

She wanted to punch this limp-handed ballerina right in her smug looking face. She had insulted her master, herself, made fun of her love and even how she acted. Ugh. That hit right where it hurt. For a few seconds, Suzuka simply stared Melt down. This was bringing back some unpleasant memories. Urgh.

"LOL, like, so your freaky galpal servant can insult my master, but I can't do the same to her?" Suzuka glanced off to the side. "Ugh, and I just convinced her to get out." Luckily for the shop and the people in there, though, there was a pretty good chance that if she started something she'd just make Mana even more distressed. This was really annoying. Ugh. Mana was such a crybaby...all the time. Luckily, as she was the cutest JK in the world, so she could easily cheer her master up.

"Tch, whatevs. You've already ruined our date so I'll blow this joint." Normally she'd just beat up whoever even so much as attempted that, but Mana...as much as she didn't want to admit it, Nanako was right. So Suzuka turned to leave, heading back towards where Mana had decided to hole up in.

Mana

Mana managed to hold back her voice. If anything, she mostly just had an anxiety attack of some sort. Her heart and brain were racing. There was a small gurgling feeling in her stomach but it quickly dissipated. She put her palms on the nice fake granite counter-tops and peered at the messy reflection of herself in the mirror. She didn't look good at all. There was a sickly look about her even beyond the heavy breaths she took. She swallowed hard and turned the water on. Luckily it wasn't one of those places that had a hand sensor for the water. She bent over the bowl of the sink and used her hands to splash water on her face. It hit and hit her hair some and the shoulders of her cloths. "Come on, Mana... You need to grown up. She didn't even say anything that bad." She shrunk back at her own words and bit her lip before quickly splashing her face again.

Then Suzuka entered. Mana stiffened when she heard the door and slowly turned her head toward the servant. When she saw who it was, rather than seem happy or joyous, she seemed... Worried or apologetic. "O-oh... H-hi... Suzuka." The girl mentioned before looking at the mirror and hitting both sides of her cheeks as if trying to wake herself up and looking back. "I..." She struggled to continue and slightly turned her head so she didn't look Suzuka in the eyes. "I'm sorry I'm not a master you can really be proud of."

🔥Archer🔥

Archer listened to the distraught girl's story with care since it looked like her Master was interested in it. She couldn't fault this... Berserker was it? Ten miles wasn't that bad. Even most peasants from her time could handle that much. But Archer understood that modern people weren't always that resilient. This was probably just a misunderstanding.

"I meant to say you are very outspoken in situations like this," Archer explained herself after her Master's answer.

"Well, it isn't worth thinking about that too hard. All will be as it must. I understand how it must feel to be summoned to this world only find out this is no ordinary summoning and we aren't expected to battle anything. Be it other Servants, or a threat to Humanity," Archer said, trying to sound as if she wasn't projecting her doubts on the other Servant.

"There are plenty of ways to entertain oneself in this era. But if you really want to get physical, there should be ways for that as well."

Mihama Nanako

Nanako took a deep breath.

Thankfully, in spite of Meltryllis escalating things like that, it seemed like the situation had been defused. Not that she blamed Meltryllis for being upset about those remarks about her disabilities... but she did blame the Alter Ego for starting the conflict in the first place. There had been no reason to go after that girl and her Servant, and no matter how Nanako felt about Meltryllis herself...

"... Those comments were completely uncalled for," she said with a frown, her free hand on her hip. She took a deep breath before continuing.

"But, Meltryllis-san, what you said was uncalled for too," she said, "You started it by going after her Master, who wasn't even doing anything. Even if you're strong, you can't just go around picking fights for no reason. That girl didn't deserve that. Her Servant's response was completely uncalled for, but so were the things you said about her Master."

She didn't want to be in conflict with Meltryllis if she could help it, but at the same time she couldn't just let that slide.

Uehara Mitsuki

Taking a sip of his drink, Mitsuki simply listened to both the woman and her Servant as they seemed to attempt to deflect blame off of themselves. There really wasn't any way to try and tackle the issue at hand in the way he had intended if the other party involved didn't want to give any actual information, but...

Well, this was still probably something he could work with.

"People in this day and age definitely aren't as fit as you're assuming," he said simply, shrugging his shoulders as if to downplay the significance of what he had said before continuing. "But I don't think you should need to be forced outside to at least take a walk outside, at least. It doesn't have to be a run, but even that much should be a start... Right?"

Turning towards his own Servant as she added her own thoughts in, the young man nodded in agreement before his gaze panned over to where she was storing her game console. Given the topic at hand, there was one thought that easily came to mind.

"I'm pretty sure there are a few video games that help with that if you don't want to head outside," he quipped, turning back towards the others with a smile. "It might be fun playing together, don't you think?"

Not like he had ever played any of those types of games in the first place, of course, but there was no reason not to suggest something like that...

"But, well, I'm not sure if that projection of the situation quite applies here. I'm still fairly certain that Servants don't need to be out and about fighting for some lofty goal to make the most of their second lives, after all."

Alter Ego — Meltryllis

The purple-haired Alter Ego watched in mild amusement as the Saber stormed off, moving to the bathroom where her Master had gone earlier to (probably) cry her troubles away. Honestly, someone with such a fragile ego wasn't as fun to toy with as most others were, but this was enough for her—especially as it seemed that very same Saber was unable to mount a proper counterargument towards her own words.

Before she could call for her own Master to finish paying up and leave the shop with her, though, Meltryllis instead found herself on the receiving end of a lecture on what she had said. What little entertainment she had derived from what had just transpired was replaced by mild annoyance, as it felt as if she was being treated like a child who had done something wrong in her eyes.

"Like I said earlier, none of what I had said to start with ever actually directly referred to that one's Master. I only ever talked about you, did I not? And it's not like I'm wrong, either; you haven't been able to move around much ever since getting yourself put into that cast, and from what I know about humans, you're going to run out of breath if she starts sending us out on errands again. What am I supposed to do if you almost slip up again like that time at the building? It's not like I can always make sure that you're not going to throw yourself blindly into danger or get caught up in something out of your control, right?"

After speaking her mind, though, the Alter Ego took a moment to compose herself before sighing.

"...Whatever. Are you going to keep complaining then, or can we buy that jacket and leave?"

Alleyway

Having successfully forced his way into the alley to escape the sudden headwind, the would-be kidnapper, with the young girl still tucked under his arm, took a brief moment to catch his breath. It was quite possible that someone had caught onto what he had done, but so long as the job was done, his client would still pay... Right?

Of course, all those thoughts went out the window once he felt the grasp of someone's hand on his shoulder. Any doubts that he had until then were promptly dispelled, and without a bit of hesitation, he opened a small vial that he had tucked away under his shirt and waved it under his captive's face. Once she began to stir and opened her eyes, though, he tossed the vial away and, fumbling to escape the grasp of whoever had caught onto him, held a small crystal in front of the young girl's eyes.

"Summon your Servant and get rid of the ones chasing us!" he half-shouted, aware that his ability to hide away had become useless. With a gaze that dulled over as soon as the crystal had caught her attention, the young child spoke in an uncannily robotic manner as she seemed to nod in understanding.

"By my Command Seal... Assassin... Get rid of them..."

As one of the Seals faded away, the Servant that Amelia was contracted to—with black hair and limbs that seemed to belong to a puppet more than they did a human—seemed to appear out of nowhere and lash out at the woman who had restrained the kidnapper. There was obvious discomfort on her face as she considered the situation, but even so...

"...I cannot disobey my Master's orders," she said, blades sliding out of her arms as she stood at the ready. "...Forgive me."

And with that, the Assassin moved forward, striking out at the woman's neck soon after.
