Andy stared at the green-haired girl, who hadn't introduced herself yet. She was babbling and asking a whole slew of questions. Some of those Andy was happy to have answered by one of the 'mutant underground' as Viel called them. Some of the questions were weird. Like who were the cops? Who didn't know who cops were? Those were the guys that showed up and arrested you and you were never seen again. Or took you to a different foster home. Cops were dangerous. You never knew which it was going to be. Andy had kept her mutant status secret that she had never been dragged off to a place worse than just a different home, but that option was gone to her now.

"Cops aren't safe. Don't trust them. Also, I think this is their van. If they took another that would be stealing." Andy didn't trust many people. She didn't even trust the people she was in the van of. But she knew what she was capable of, she could protect herself. "What is Midgard?" She asked. It only seemed fair to ask her a question after that slew of questions that Andy hadn't even known where to start.

Callie Johnson

Location: The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground HQ
Skills: N/A

Callie wrapped her arms around Colossus and gave him a hug, giving him a bit of a sad smile losing someone was hard but she knew that he would make it through this somehow. "It's going to be okay Colossus." Callie said towards him, when she heard Max suddenly screaming and then he was gone instantly. "What the hell happened to him?" Callie asked looking between Colossus and Jack as well, when Colossus answered her question she closed her eyes and sighed slightly he somehow managed to get a new power like she had a few months ago.

She closed her eyes and leaned slightly on Colossus getting a wave of dizziness suddenly, before she quickly turned away and vomited again, coughing slightly Callie wiped away a bit of snot and spat onto the ground. "I'm gonna go text Veil and see if she can pick us up." Callie said as she winced slightly looking down at the bullet wound in her leg slightly, before taking out her phone typing a quick text to Veil.
"Hey Veil, if you could possibly come pick up Jack, Colossus and I up at the old HQ? We got the supplies but ran into some Purifiers, the others got away and are back at the HQ now.[/color[
Callie hit send and looked over towards Colossus for a moment, biting her lower lip slightly Veil needed to know what happened to Magik as well.
We also lost Magik, her sickness got to her..
Callie hit send, looking over at the other two. "Hopefully there aren't any other snags, Veil should hopefully be on her way soon."

Kristina Smith

Location: George Washington University: Van
Skills: N/A

Kristina was about to answer Zarina's question about who the police were which was a really weird question, as she thought for a moment that maybe she was just a little bit to eccentric. She turned to look a Veil for a moment as she told the group about them, and that they could offer them all a place to crash for a little while. "I probably wont be going to any classes anytime soon, if you don't mind letting me stay for a little while." Kristina said as she watched Sapphire walking off into the Starbucks looking over back at the others when Veil and Zari both mentioned SHIELD. "My sister Maria works for SHIELD." Kristina said as she leaned herself up against the car seat.

She turned to look at Andy asking what Midgard was, she had taken a few mythology courses while in school, and remembered a Norse Mythology unit. "Midgard in Norse Mythology is basically Earth, the Vikings and Norse gods called it that or something, took a mythology course not to long ago and did a unit on that." Kristina answered.

"Not going to lie, but the idea of cops or whatever they are just sounds dumb! Where I come from the person who hits the hardest wins an argument. Or usually the other person dies, totally depends on your sort of thinking. And duh Midgard is another name for Earth! It's one of the nine realms! Along with Niflheim, Muspelheim, Jotunheim, Vanaheim, Alfheim, Svartalfheim, Helheim and of course the amazing Asgard! Seriously do you people know nothing? The 9 realms are all connected via the branches of Yggdrasil, the world tree!" Zari said triumphantly with a giggle towards Andy and Kristina. To her it was amusing to see not too many people seeming to understand what exactly the 9 realms were. Where she came from it was pretty common knowledge.

"Miðgarðr as you know is home to humans, Ásgarðr is home to the Aesir gods, and the more well known gods, like Odin, Thor, Frigga, Baldur, those ones! Niðavellir, the world of fog and mist is home to the well Hvergelmir which in turn is protected by the dragon Níðhöggr. As Yggdrasil started to grow it actually drew water from Hvergelmir! Then there is Múspellsheimr is the land of fire and ruled by the giant Surtr who is majorly bad news! Útgarðr is home to the giants, but it is also home to Mimir's well of wisdom too! Vanaheimr is home to the Vanir gods, who are the oldest branch of the gods. Ljósálfheimr is the home of the light elves who are sometimes considered to essentially be the "guardian angels". Niðavellir is home to the dwarves who are master craftsman who have made in the past some pretty powerful weaponry. Helheim is kind of self explanatory, land of the dead and ruled by the goddess Hel. Any questions? I hope not, since going into more explanations about the realms aside from the quick version might get a bit tricky."

"01011001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110010 01100001 01101110 01110100 01100101 01100100 00100000 01100001 01100111 01100001 01101001 01101110 00100000 01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00101100 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01100101 01110110 01100101 01110010 01111001 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01101001 01101110 01110100 01100101 01110010 01100101 01110011 01110100 01100101 01100100 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01101100 01100101 01100001 01110010 01101110 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01100001 01100010 01101111 01110101 01110100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 00111001 00100000 01110010 01100101 01100001 01101100 01101101 01110011..."

“She’s healing faster than I’d expect for a human,” Watts conceded

“Maybe I’m a rainbow Wolverine!”

"Keep dreaming on that one Leda, since think no one has a healing power that strong aside from him, not to mention why compare yourself to Wolverine at all? Seriously there are probably better people to compare yourself to," she said to Leda with a laugh. "Anyway let's see about getting going okay? Though I'm going to warn you right off the bat Watts that you might find the group a bit annoying, since they drive me insane and make me want to strangle them half the time," she added with a bit of a shrug.

Leading the way back outside, she walked over and looked at the van that everyone was sitting in. “You’ve really managed to join the opposite of X Factor," Watts said upon seeing the van.

"Not going to lie, I agree with you completely on that one, I kind of did. But corporations weren't exactly for me, at all, and I might have ended up in some really not so great situations with this group, but we are trying to do some good here on the streets of DC, it isn't exactly the best place to be a mutant," she responded as she opened up the door of the van, "He said he'll help us, all that needs to happen is when we get back to HQ James has to heal his daughter Leda who got shot by Purifiers earlier for those of you who I swear need your eyes checked."

Jack was a bit surprised when Max suddenly disappeared as if out of existence or something. It was so strange, but he glanced over at Colossus when he explained he just teleported like Nightcrawler could. Guess that made sense, but apparently he had decided to teleport away from them and not take them back to the current Underground headquarters was a bit annoying. When Callie turned away and vomited, he couldn't help but move away slightly from both Colossus and Callie and proceeded to puke himself. Damn it he really hated this disease and his head was just pounding like crazy and he had no idea why it would not go away for once. That would definitely be a nice thing to have happen, the headache and dizziness to just disappear.

"Alright, sounds like a plan to me," he commented with a bit of a shrug, not really too sure what else to say on the subject. Hopefully the others would come and pick them up from their current location that they had been dropped in by Max. Why he couldn't have teleported them to the current Underground HQ was also annoying, since odds were if they had gone there, the others probably could have helped calm Colossus down a bit, and allowed for them to not have to worry about getting back there. It made no sense, but who knew what was going through the kid's head when he was being attacked by a metal man with super strength. Callie, much like what had happened to Max before, would start to happen. A jabbing pain in her head that felt like someone was stabbing her in the head, who knew what was going on.

Max saw James's face poke through the door, his eyes growing as his emotions soared that he was there. That didn't last long however as the healing Mutant pulled back and away for a moment, making Max wonder if perhaps he had become ethereal to some degree, an improper teleportation spell or something. He let his head fall back hard against the pillow, dizziness sweeping over him as his symptoms climbed. He tried to get up, tried walking towards James, but his legs didn't want to move. His entire body felt so heavy and weak and all he was able to think of was how this may be the end, how M-Pox may be taking him as well. Before Max could resign himself to death, James walked back into the room, acknowledging him. He said he was...home? Max couldn't recall how he got here, or even where the others were if they came with him. "I-I-I don't know. I portaled us to the old Underground, incase the cops arrived in time to see the portal so they couldn't find the new location."

Max began coughing, covering his mouth with his pillow and splattering blood all over it. "I remember a sharp pain in my head, Callie being mice and then...just cold. Sheer cold and darkness and then I was here." His eyes began to dialate as streaks of blood trickled out of his ears and his mind started clouding. He looked at James and just giggled out "Hehe I almost made a deal with a demon, but Sunny Shine ruuuuined it. Now I'll never wish to help her. Hehe." He booked James on the nose, still laying in bed as his body attempted to build up the strength to move and fight this disease.

Echo

Location: George Washington University > Mutant Underground

"Allllrighty! Time to get this show on the road. Buckle up kids." Echo pressed against the gas petal and drove. He didn't question the people in the car, between Polaris, Rainbowbrite, and Dr. Ornery, he figured he just needed to get everyone out of there. The car was silent for a moment, Echo thinking of the best way to answer Waverly. "Sorry Waves, the ambulance pulled away when I tried to reach them. They ran scared of the fight and debris. We'll see if there's anything we can do back at base." He didn't want to say it, but there was a kid back there who could try and raise the dead. He knew they would reject the idea, but it would at least look as if they tried. He let the silence cling for a moment longer before turning on the radio. Allowing it to fill the silence. Once the car began to feel as if it was struggling to go, he found the nearest gas station and parked it at a pump. "Gonna go inside and pay for the pump. I'll be right back."

The door chimed as it opened, Echo walking in with his sunglasses on. He grabbed 12 Monster Javas, 12 Slim Jim's, 12 Small bags of chips, and then made his way towards the register. "Can I also have 30 on pump 2 please?" The drinks were cold against his chest as he cradles them, placing them down one by one onto the counter for the clerk to ring up and bag. Once the transaction was over he took the bags, headed out and began pumping gas. There was a long sigh, as he leaned against the car. One hand on the hose the other other gripping the bags. Today ended up worse than he imagined, and he was hardly keeping it together. His eyes began to well up as the images of Caydens death slowly faded towards ones of his late gf. His chest tightened, throat seized up, and his chin began to shake as he tried not to cry. He felt the all too familiar tug of the hose alerting him that the 30 dollars were up and he was done. It was like a shock to his system that pulled him out of his own mind.

He placed it back, opened the door, and sat down wiping a tear and turning about with a smile. "Got us all some drinks and grub so dig in. There's enough for all of you to have one of each, make sure you save a Monster for James hes going to need it. But other than that let's just get back home." Echo pulled on his seat belt after grabbing hia food and drinks and passing one bag into thr back seats and another to Veil. Turning the car on and heading out towards the Mutant Underground.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy;

Luna stared at the garbage can with confusion and looked at it all over. She saw the design Negasonic drew on the side of the can and stared at it, blinking a couple of times before she hiccoughed several times. She covered her mouth for a moment and groaned before she threw up into the unassuming trash can. Luna felt incredibly weak and didn’t think she would be moving from this position for a while.
She looked up at Negasonic and watched her closely. ”Who does your hair?” Luna’s vision wavered as she looked at Negasonic, her mind drifting to James but she couldn’t get to him. Why couldn’t she get to him, was he dead? Luna’s vision wavered again but this time with tears and Luna started to cry. ”Where’s James,” she demanded. Blood dripped down the corner of her mouth and continued to slowly drip out of her ears, soaking her shirt. ”James! James! He’s gone isn’t he? No, not my Jamie,” Luna continued to cry, looking around helplessly. She started to hit her head with her hands and pull on her hair. ”Stupid, stupid powers! I lost him!”

Waverley Watts - Feedback

Location: George Washington University
Skills:

Waverley's shoulders slumped forward as Echo gave his explanation as to why Cayden was in the van, an audible sniffle coming from her slouched form. She sat with her head down for a time, before turning back to look at what was left of Cayden. He was motionless. Left without his jubilance, without his spirit. She stared. As much as she didn't want it to be the case, the truth was all too clear. With every passing minute, her denial became more and more unbelievable, until it was a small, desperate voice drowned out by the facts: he was no longer himself. He was devoid of all the joy and life that had made him who he was. Now, propped up in the back of the van, he was no longer a he. He was an it. And it was a corpse.

Waverley blinked out more tears as she turned away from the body, going back to her slumped position, wincing as she held her arm tighter to her chest. It was hard to ignore the young green-haired girl prattling on about mythology, especially given the fact that, under different circumstances, Waverley would be first in line to geek out about it with her. But as her words filled the car, Waverley's mind slowly crept back to what the girl had said when she'd first appeared, causing an uncomfortable question to pop into her head. It was a question that lingered there as they drove, and remained even as they pulled into the gas station. It wasn't until Echo came back with food that she spoke, mumbling out an almost inaudible, "Thanks." She made no move to eat the food, instead opting to give it to Sunshine once they were back at the Underground. It was something she'd made a habit of doing whenever her appetite fell victim to stress, anxiety, or, in this case, mourning. Even so, the cold beverage on her lap helpful, managing to pull her out of her own mind. She raised her head, blinking for a few seconds, before looking over to Zarina.

"You..." Waverley began, before pausing. The question that had been on her mind the whole car ride sounded even more ludicrous as it started to leave her mouth, but she knew she wasn't going to be able to think about anything else until she asked it. "You said you were a Valkyrie. Are you...here for him? Are you here to take Cayden to Valhalla?" Waverley asked, swallowing the lump that had formed in her throat. It was true that Christianity was Waverley's preferred religion, but when Thor and his brother came along, she'd cut Norse mythology out some wiggle room.

James Kingston

Location: Echo and Max’s room -> Medical
Skills: N/A

James jerked away as Max bopped him on the nose, scowling momentarily at the delirious guy and sighing. Clearly his M-Pox was acting up again. It must have made him activate a portal or something. He hadn’t seen people accidentally use their mutations but he wasn’t an expert on this; for all he knew it was a possibility. Either way, Max was back in one piece and not a flesh stain on the concrete somewhere courtesy of a mourning metal giant. The whole making a deal with a demon needed to be addressed but for now, Max just needed to relax a bit. A shower and some food if he could hold it down would do him some good. “Oh jesus, you’re bleeding again. Give me a second to get something to spit into in case you vomit. Just stay here and lay down. We’ll get you cleaned up and into medical once I get something so you don’t bleed everywhere.” James sighed. He stood up and patted Max reassuringly. “No getting out of bed until I come back, got it?.”

James stepped out of Max’s room to hunt down something to put under his head in case the bleeding got worse when he heard Luna crying. He frowned. Her powers must not be working if she didn’t just find him with her telepathy. He sighed at the sight of Luna sobbing over the trash bucket. “Luna, I’m right here. Everything’s fine. Can you walk with Negasonic? She’s gonna get you to medical and then we can talk for a little bit, okay?” James reassured her as he grabbed a trash bin from medical, checked Casper to see if he was still sleeping, and headed back to Max’s room to deal with delirious patient number 2.

“Okay Max, hold onto me with one arm and hold this with your other.” James gently worked Max up and somewhat standing, arm thrown over his shoulders for support, and shoved the trash bin into Max’s other arm. “If you vomit or spit up blood, do it into that okay?” He instructed calmly as he helped Max walk. They were going to have to do something about Max’s bed. Another thing to add to the list, fantastic.

The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground DC HQ...

"You are good friend," Colossus mumbled to Spark Plug gratefully. He returned her hug, still in his organic steel form. He was ordinarily incredibly careful with others while like this, but his grief had clouded his mind. He forgot his own strength and as he hugged Spark Plug, he used so much pressure that he accidentally snapped one of her ribs. She was suffocating, unable to breathe. Both boys would be feeling rather chilly from the snow, while Spark Plug apparently was immune to Jack Frost.

Veil

Location: Transit
Skills: N/A
Veil was a little bit surprised to hear one of the new mutants - the one with the leather jacket - explain stealing. She was so used to living below the poverty line, stealing supplies for the Mutant Underground, it was just strange to think of it as immoral. She never considered whether or not their actions hurt other people. It always felt like a victimless crime. And if there were any victims, surely it would be the rich people who owned the warehouses and stores they raided for food, right?

Her phone buzzed, distracting her from her thoughts. She read the second message before she saw the first. Her bottom lip trembled and Veil bit down on it, hard, in an attempt to keep the tears at bay. They lost Moonwalker and Magik that day. Death was part of being a mutant, but it didn't make it hurt any less. She cleared her throat slightly. The others needed to know as well. "Magik died of M-Pox." Her fingers felt cold as ice as she tapped out a reply to Spark Plug -

Shit.
We need to make a drop off at HQ, got some injured. We'll come by ASAP. Almost there.
We lost Moonwalker. Picked up some lost girls.
And Polaris
.

There was so much going on that Veil didn't even know how to process the information that one of the kids they picked up had a sibling working for S.H.I.E.L.D. It wasn't unheard of for mutants to go into law enforcement - or to have human family members who were part of the force. But in Veil's opinion, all law enforcement was corrupt and anti-mutant. Anyone who wore the badge was either guilty of hate crimes or complicit in abiding them. The other girl in the back was chattering a lot, seemingly a Thor fangirl from what Veil could tell. That also wasn't uncommon. He had nice abs.

Watts was protectively holding onto his daughter, Leda sitting in his lap since there wasn't enough room in the van. Both of them were quiet, knowing that this wasn't the time for snide comments. People were processing and grieving, especially with the announcement of another death. Watts could hold his ego back - at least for a little while.

"Fuck," Havok said. He didn't elaborate. There wasn't really anything else that could be said. Magik had died because of a disease they had been powerless to stop. At least Moonwalker had died for a cause - Magik's death had been for nothing.

The van pulled up into the garage of the Mutant Underground Headquarters. It had a small staircase that led up into the entranceway, where anyone going on up would see Sunshine cradling Magik's corpse on one of the couches.

"Echo... Would you mind picking up Colossus, Spark Plug, and Stretch? They're at the old HQ."

Casper Theriot

Location: Mutant Underground: ???
Skills: Mediumship
Casper's body was on a bed in medical. His veins were extraordinarily prominent and his breaths were infrequent and harsh. He had ended up face down on the pillow, making breathing even more challenging. Of course, his spirit was completely unaware of the mortal peril his body was in, instead trying to come to terms with his fear and conquer it as he stared at the ghost of Waverley's mom in Max's bedroom.

"You got this, Casper," Ben encouraged. Sometimes he felt optimistic about Casper's chances to become a better person. This was not one of these times. Ben was a liar.

"I'm f-fine, Ben, you act like I'm as competent as Honey Boo Boo on Toddlers in Tiaras or whatever that white trash show was called," Casper complained. He was partially transfixed by the ghost of Mrs. Watts, looking at the blood that covered her. Her lips had a definite blue tint to them and her eyes looked like they were rotting, as if her hatred was causing her soul to decompose in the afterlife.

"HOW THE FUCK DOES THIS WHITE BOY GET TO BE ALIVE AND I'M DEAD?!?!?!?! IS THERE NO JUSTICE ANYMORE?!?!?! THE FUCKING COP KILLER NEEDS TO PAY!" Mrs. Watts raged. She tried to claw Max's eyeballs out, but her ghostly hand just went on through him.

Something clicked. As Casper stared at Mrs. Watts, he started to laugh. It was quiet at first, before expanding into a full belly chuckle. He had no idea why he was suddenly a spirit too, since he was pretty sure he wasn't dead - his body had been breathing last he checked. But there was just something so funny about Mrs. Watts trying to hurt Max but failing. And while Casper didn't realize it, he had faced his fears. (Well, more of Max had faced them for him). Mrs. Watts couldn't hurt Max. She couldn't do anything unless Casper let her.

He had the power here - wait, did he? He didn't know if he could channel things like this. He didn't feel like trying though. No, instead he wanted to do what he did best - talk.

"Hey, I'm not scared of you! You can't hurt me! You can't even hurt Max and everyone likes to do that! In fact, while I'm talking to you, you reeeeaally need to get a haircut. Like is there a ghost barber? Maybe after Hitler gets his stache trimmed, you can hop into the chair and take it for a spin, huh? Also newsflash, revenge doesn't work when you're dead and all you're doing is giving me a headache. And messing up your daughter emotionally, she's going to grow up to be an action star, probably will have some Swan Song type of a movie where she dies for the next generation... Maybe set near the Mexican border. And end near the Canadian one."

Ben smiled proudly, beaming like a father watching their kid take their first - extremely awkward and scatterbrained - steps.

"And oi, Max, no feeling up my boyfriend!!"

Outside in the hallway - "Britney Spears," Negasonic deadpanned. "Oh no, you're having a complete meltdown... No one could have predicted that an unhealthy obsession with a gay man with a boyfriend could end this way..." She didn't know what was going on between James and Glimpse, but whatever it was, it was weird. "Wow, James, you're back. Shocking."

"Cops are stupid." Andy agreed, but then the green-haired girl kept talking. She stared at her. Andy had no clue what half the words were. She got that Midgard was apparently some other name for Earth, but the rest was basically gibberish. "You make no sense." She said when the girl finished. "Half those words aren't even real words. No one talks like that."

When they stopped for gas Andy considered getting out of the van. This group of people was strange. She was glad she hadn't though because when Justin Bieber came back out he gave her caffeine, which was one of her favorite things of all time. "As long as you keep supplying caffeine I promise to not call you Justine Bieber anymore." She told him as she cracked the can open and took a long deep drink of the sweet heavenly nectar.

Andy winced when Veil said that someone had died of M-Pox. She had been lucky in not getting sick from the disease, but she had seen it ravage the mutants in DC since her arrival. If she hadn't felt like an outsider in this group it became starker that she was at that moment. She didn't even know the dead guy in the back. The group was mourning for people she didn't know and she felt she didn't belong. Those weren't her dead. She chewed on the Slim Jim.

When the arrived at the lot she got out as quickly as possible and followed whoever was the first into the Mutant Underground. That did not make things any better. There was a girl about her age crying over what looked like the other corpse. Andy wished she could disappear at that moment.

Andy continued up the stairs. She didn't know where it went but it had to be better than being around corpses and crying people.

Callie Johnson

Location: The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground HQ
Skills: N/A

Callie looked down at her phone as she felt another text coming through seeing the news that Cayden didnt make it wasnt good at all, closing her eyes and letting out a slight sigh. Cayden was really nice, even if he was a little bit to annoying at times, but she considered him as a friend. "Veil said that is on her way soon." Callie said as she turned to look over at Colossus, and Jack for a moment, when Colossus pulled her into a rather tight hug. She started to gasp for air, until she heard and felt something snapping letting out a loud cry in pain.

Then there was a suddenly sharp pain going through her head, and it started to get a lot worse she couldnt breath at all as she started to try and squirm her way out of Colossus' tight grip. "Head hurts, cant breathe let go.." Callie managed to say as she tried her best to try and ignore the pain going through her head as it started to get worse, groaning loudly.

Kristina Smith

Location: George Washington University: Van > Mutant Underground HQ
Skills: N/A

Kristina watched as the others finally got into the van, and they were on her way looking over at George Washington University once more making a mental note to stop by her dorm whenever she could hoping that no one would try and break in there and steal her things. She looked at Zarina as she started to spout off her knowledge about Norse Mythology, and that the idea of the police was weird to her as well. Kris knew that the police were corrupt when it came to mutants and she just did her best to avoid anything that would have revealed that she was one until now.

They stopped at a gas station and the Flightless Birdman had gone off to get some gas as well as some food as well, looking over at Veil when she mentioned someone had died. She looked over at the corpse in the back of the van for a moment she felt bad for the people that they had lost. "Thank you." Kristina said as she took a slim jim and quickly started to eat it, enjoying the taste of it as well she wasnt much of a fan for monster energy drinks at all really. She remained quiet for the rest of the car ride until they were at their hideout by the looks of it, she turned to look over at Veil. "Is there anything I can do to help out?" Kris asked, it was the least she could do since they had offered her a place to stay awhile.

"You all are giving me a headache," Sapphire muttered, with the fact that everyone was just talking, and the green haired girl was not shutting up, at all. Her mind was just trying not to think about anyone else dying, but it was really hard not to. She couldn't help but wonder if maybe there was something that they could have done differently to have prevented Magik's death, or Cayden's for that matter. No matter what, she couldn't stop but thinking maybe she could have stopped Cayden from dying, and as far as she was concerned, it was her own screw up that had resulted in his death. Sapphire completely ignored Echo's offer of food, since she hated his guts and partially wanted him to get as far away from her as possible.

"...I'm sorry, but that's actually not the reason I came here, but I am positive that another Valkyrie carried his spirit to Valhalla, which is definitely a beautiful realm," Zari said, somewhat calmly towards Waverly, hoping to at least somewhat cheer her up a little bit. Her attention then turned towards Andy and she frowned at her words, as if she was getting annoyed by something. The robotic eyeball in her lap started beeping loudly, as if it was trying to tell her something, but clearly she was ignoring it by her angered facial expression. "Jeg burde kalle deg rart og at du høres rart ut! Hva med at du lukker munnen og ikke fornærmer folk som sannsynligvis bare hjalp deg ut! Du sier at ingen snakker slik, men det er klart at ditt lille sinn ikke er klar over at noen gjør det siden jeg er. Eller sier du at jeg er ingen, at jeg ikke har noe å si, vel bare hold kjeften!"

"01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101100 01101101 00100000 01100100 01101111 01110111 01101110 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01101001 01110011 01101110 00100111 01110100 00100000 01101000 01100101 01101100 01110000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01100001 01101110 01111001 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01100001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01101101 01101001 01100111 01101000 01110100 00100000 01110011 01100001 01111001 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100111 01101111 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110010 01100101 01100111 01110010 01100101 01110100!!!" the eyeball beeped out in response to her rambling.

"Fun fact, everything about Asgard is real, I should know, my father is an Asgardian!" she then proceeded to snap out loud without thinking as they pulled up to the Underground, and as soon as the words were out she covered her mouth with her hands as it sunk in just what exactly she had said. That probably wasn't a good thing, she shouldn't have said that. "I shouldn't have said that, I shouldn't have said that, I really really should not have said that..." she started repeating over and over again, not really seemingly focusing on anything else that people were saying anymore.

"01000001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01001001 00100000 01110100 01101111 01110100 01100001 01101100 01101100 01111001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101100 01101100 01100101 01100100 00100000 01101001 01110100 00101100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01100001 01101001 01100100 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01101000 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 01101110 00100111 01110100 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01100001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110111 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01101101 01101001 01100111 01101000 01110100 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01110011 01100011 01110010 01100101 01110111 01100101 01100100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 01110011 00100000 01110101 01110000 00101110..."

"...Hold it did you just say that you were Asgardian?" Sapphire couldn't help but commented, and Zari was just shaking her head quickly, before she scrambled out of the car and into the Mutant Underground HQ. She just watched the green haired girl before she turned to look at Watts, "If you want to follow me... We can see if James is in our makeshift medical area or something," she said to him, it was clear that she was wanting to see about keeping her mind off of all of the death that was going on at the moment, and her current way of coping was to just keep focused on a single task and keep going. She climbed out of the van and headed out into the HQ, saying nothing else really.

Jack's head was pounding, and the thoughts were just rushing through his head, and he was finding it incredibly difficult to focus. He leaned up against the wall, not really paying much attention to what was going on with Callie and Colossus. His head was just hurting way too much, and all he knew was that it was not the best combination along with his illness, which for all he knew could have been causing it. There were so many things that he needed to figure out or to really do and everything was just coming down on him all at once and he could not figure out what to do. Luckily, Callie would be able to kick his mental attacks out of her head, so the sharp stabbing pain would be gone now.

Putting his hands to his head, his mind started contemplating a few things, things that he knew weren't his sort of trains of thoughts, but... They were there nonetheless and he couldn't get rid of them. Glancing over towards Callie and Colossus now, he looked away again as a thought that crossed his mind was to just kill Callie, just for being in the room. It was insane, and he couldn't stop the thought. His mind started wandering to then include potentially just murdering the other members of the Underground, and it was starting to drive him crazy, since that sort of thought wasn't typically his own. And combined with everything else it was a bad combo for his thoughts and it was not leaving his head.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.

Luna felt familiar hands and looked up to see James’s face. She continued to cry. ”Am I dead now too?” That could be the only reason why she was seeing him and then he just left. That bastard. Luna glared after the retreating figure and struggled to stand, nearly knocking the trash can over as she attempted to stand. She fell back onto her hands and knees and started to gasp. Luna sat back on her feet and put a hand to her chest, panting and placed another hand on her head in an attempt to stem the dizziness. She was clearly back to the second stage as her skin returned to relatively normal, minus the prominent veins and bloodshot eyes.
Luna looked at Negasonic and cringed as she remembered everything she had just done in her loopy state. ”This is hell,” she declared. ”No, hell would probably be more enjoyable than this.” She pushed herself up to her feet and looked at Negasonic while she leaned against the banister. ”Get me a phone so I can call dad before this shit gets worse again. Seriously though, I want to change my hair so, a accurate answer next time would be great.”

Max nodded weakly towards James as he told him to wait there. A dopey smile plastered on his face while James walked away. Max sluggishly waved goodbye. Once James had left the room, his eyes began to wander. Looking at the stains on his bed, his reflection in triplicate from the mirror Echo had brought in shortly after his arrival. He watched himself closely, his varicose veins, the dripping blood, and almost lifeless limbs. His eyes were fixated onto themselves, staring longer and longer as his vision began to distort and his mind started to play tricks on him. He grew horns, two prominent fangs, and his hair began to wisp about like dancing flames. All the while his eyes stared right at his reflection. Max reached out towards the mirror, his fingers outstretched as they attempted to touch the other in the room. Was this how the others viewed him? A demon? A monster? His vision kept warping until the sound of someone's voice broke his trance.

Max turned his gaze away from the mirror and saw James at his side once more. The dopey smile returning as he was lifted up and supported by the weight of the other mutant. He nodded once more in agreement as his head began to spin and found itself inside the bucket while trails of blood spilled fourth from his mouth. There was wrenching, silence, and then the sound of him spitting his saliva into the container. Together they managed to make their way up to the medical area, Max breathing short breaths as he took every other step. "Do you think Wanda sees herself a demon too? Do you think she's happy now? Or that she's living with guilt? Will I ever be happy?" His eyes were vacant, staring ahead as he watched their destination unfurl and they had finally arrived to medical.

Echo's heart split in two as Waverly asked Zari if her role was to guide Cayden into the afterlife. His eyes fixated on the road as he gripped the wheel tighter. He focused on the road, trying not to think about Sapphire, Zari, or much else besides getting to the Mutant Underground as quickly and safely as possible. He felt that Waverly needed a shoulder, an ear, and some compassion. Something she may not recieve in this van. His glance darted towards his twin figuiring that she may need the same. Death was always taxing, and it didn't matter how much one has seen it, he knew his sisters heart wouldn't allow her to become numb to it. He wasn't sure what was needed to be said or done, but all he could do is be there for them and do what was needed and say the words he needed to hear when he lost someone.

Once they arrived Veil had asked him to retrieve a few others. "No problem. I'm taking my Jeep, better to make sure I don't raise suspicion by using a car potentially seen at a fight recently." He spun the keys on his finger, handing them to Veil before moving away towards his car. He pulled out and drove towards the Old center for the Mutant Underground, where he first met Callie and a few others and where another death had occurred. His music drowned out his thoughts, driving straight to his objective as one of his own CDs played in car. Several tracks passed before he finally arrived at his destination. "Yo, I was sent here to gather you all." He leaned over and opened the passenger door, patting the seat next to him."

Waverley Watts - Feedback

Location: George Washington University
Skills:

Waverley's heart sunk when the young Valkyrie explained that she wasn't there for Cayden. It made sense, of course; if she were here to take his spirit to the afterlife, she'd have had no reason to stick around this long. Admittedly, though, hearing her say that another of her kind had done the deed was comforting. Even if Zarina was just some kid who escaped the psych ward, which was the most likely scenario, Waverley didn't really have the mental or emotional energy to doubt the origin story she gave. Especially considering all the insane things she'd learned in her time with the Underground. When you live with a boy who can speak to the dead and the literal queen of limbo, your stance on what's possible can get a little more broad.

Waverley's head popped up when Veil mentioned Magik's fate. The simple, straight-forward sentence hit her like a brick. For Cayden's passing, she'd been allowed a pillow of denial to cushion the blow. She'd had reason to believe he wasn't dead, even if the belief was unrealistic. But with Magik, there was no reason to deny it. Her chest tightened, feeling as though it'd been caved in. She hadn't been as close with Magik as she had been with Cayden, but they were friendly. What really hurt, though, was the thought of Sunshine's reaction. The pair had had a special relationship, the specifics of which Waverley could only guess. This would crush her. So, with that thought, Waverley swallowed her own grief. Perhaps putting others' problems before one's own wasn't a healthy coping mechanism, but it was one Waverley subscribed herself to often. All she knew was that she'd be okay. She'd bawl her eyes out under cover of night for a few weeks, and then quietly mourn for a few more, but the day would come where she was okay. The same, she felt, couldn't be said about Sunshine. Waverley loved the girl dearly, but she feared she was a timebomb, with every tragedy that happened to her bringing her one step closer to exploding. Who knew what would happen if she ever did? It was something Waverley wanted to keep from happening more than anything in the world.

When the car came to an eventual stop, Waverley slid out of the car, leaving the gas station snacks in her seat. She was still clutching her arm, trying her best to keep it from moving as she walked into the Underground. Once she was inside, she immediately felt queasy seeing Sunshine on the sofa, Magik in her arms. She approached the two of them, but when she slowed to a stop in front of the sofa, she realized she'd made a mistake. This, with a broken arm and Sunshine still clutching to her beloved, was not the right time for comfort. Still, Waverley couldn't continue onward to the medical room without saying something.

"I'm sorry...I know she meant a lot to you...if you need to talk to someone, I'm always here, ready to listen..." she mumbled, the silence between the words as prevalent as the words themselves. She wanted to say more, to do more, but she knew that it wasn't the right time. So, after a moment of standing there silently, she walked up the stairs and made her way towards medical, passing by a loopy Luna and an uncharacteristically helpful Negasonic. Once she got there, she stood at the door, looking inside. It wasn't exactly Disneyland. Casper and Max were both in less-than tiptop shape, with James standing over the latter. It was still stressful for Waverley to see Max laying there as a member of the Underground rather than an enemy, and she did her best to avoid such occurrences as much as she could. She leaned against the doorframe, waiting a few seconds, unsure whether she should interrupt or not. "Um, hey James...I took a bit of a tumble and banged up my arm a little. When you get a minute, I'd appreciate a little help with it, but don't make it a priority. In fact, just say the word and I can come back another time." Waverley did her best to undersell the injury. It hurt like a bitch, but she knew she'd live. There very well could've been more pressing matters he needed to attend to, and she didn't want to keep him from them.

James Kingston

Oh sweet jesus. James sighed, an unsettling mix of resignation and relief as Negasonic’s sarcastic default came back. When it wasn;t there, you knew shit had gone south and it was nice to hear someone settling back into some semblance of normalcy after everything that happened. Honestly, James was going to get a fucking whiteboard and post it at the entrance of this place and write in big, bold letters: Number of Days Since the Last Accindent. If they managed to make it past two days, he’d give them a prize. Everyone gets a goddamn bottle of vodka or something. Maybe that’d be enough incentive for everyone to stop nearly dying on him.

“Okay. Therapy sessions are next on the list, apparently.” James muttered as Max rambled on about the Princess and happiness. Max’s issues weren’t difficult to see. His crippling inferiority complex was the size of Sunshine’s ego and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Max shielded himself with material concerns, indulging in his perceived ideal person: high fashion, manners, fair tempered. Of course, Max at his core wasn’t any of those things and so the resulting friction between fantasy and reality fed a blossoming Hero syndrome. Before the Princess’ little game, James would have never put the pieces together but now he was almost 100% certain that that was why his powers would never work right the first time. A subconscious need to prove himself drove his powers to instability and then his control snapped back into place right after so he could take charge of it. That’s why the police incident resulted in such a fallout.

There wasn’t a way to save it.

“Everyone can be happy. You just gotta figure it out, dude.” He reassured Max, patting him on the back. “We can talk about it once you’re better, okay? For now, stay sitting up if you can otherwise lay on your side, okay?” Speaking of inferiority complexes… James turned at Waverly’s comment, a frown already on his face. But James glanced over at his boyfriend really quick and swore, bolting to his side and wrestling him over. And he thought Casper was doing better! James mentally ran over the list of medicine they got and sighed. Nothing they had would help right now so he just adjusted Casper, getting him on his side and his head elevated so if he vomited, he wouldn’t choke on it. He placed a chaste kiss on his boyfriend’s forehead and turned to Waverly.

“Okay what’s going o…” James stared at Waverly, where she leaned against the doorframe with a broken fucking arm. Change that god damned prize to 1 day apparently. “Waverly, that’s a big fucking deal! You’re entire right arm is fucked up!” Oh god, what the fuck. He was sitting everyone down as soon as he found the time and they were fucking talking about this. This is ridiculous. It took him a few moments to recover from the shock but he shook it off.

“That thing has to be set first and I am definitely not trained to do that. Clarke came back with you right?” James ushered her inside their little medical area and popped his head out into the hallway again, cupping his hands around his mouth. “Yo Clarke! Need your brains and fantastic bedside manner in Medical like STAT!” He shouted into the Underground. Normally, he wouldn’t dream of calling her that but he was tired and worn thin. Separating the details between this reality and that reality became more of a challenge when he was tired, the two identities and their habits creating a confusing combination.

The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground DC HQ...

"Ah, I am sorry," Colossus apologized, sheepishly letting go of Spark Plug. He wiped a few tears away from his eyes. They were still flowing naturally, his baby sister had died after all and he hadn't been there to do anything - and since she died of M-Pox, there really hadn't been anything he could have done. It was pure random chance that took Illyana's life. Their ride finally got there and Colossus gave Echo a kind nod. He got into the car, sitting in the passenger seat, and as he was in his metal form, the car noticeably bent down towards the right from the huge weight.

Veil

Location: Mutant Underground: Van
Skills: N/A
Veil couldn't think of something for the new girl, Kristina, to do. Ordinarily, her mind would have pulled up a mental list of the many things they needed to accomplish at the Mutant Underground, but it escaped her. All she could think about was how to help the rest of her team, the rest of her family, after the double tragedy they had experienced today. She couldn't imagine how Colossus was taking this - probably just about as well as Feedback was handling Moonwalker's death. Moonwalker and Magik. Veil couldn't help but feel responsible. M-Pox or not, she was their leader - whatever happened to her team, it was on her conscience.

"Thanks for the offer, but not at the moment. We'll need to find you a place to rest for the night. In the morning - or later this evening if you'd prefer - we can talk about where you want to go next. We're part of a group that discretely moves mutants so the law can't track them." Of course, the Washington D.C. group was becoming increasingly involved in things above their pay grade. They had tangled with Mister Sinister and the Hellfire Club, and now, they were trying to find a cure for M-Pox by "borrowing" random scientists.

Oh, and apparently, they were now no longer bound by Earthly politics, as the green haired girl claimed to be from Asgard. Veil looked at Zarina sympathetically. She must have been incredibly sheltered, not knowing what the police were and now thinking her father was from another planet. Had the atmosphere been less heavy, she would have pulled Zarina aside and had a long talk with her on the basics: what it meant to be a mutant, how mutants came into being, and of course, that they were not aliens. Her mother must have lied to her.

Watts climbed out of the van, carrying Leda. Havok had Polaris similarly in his arms, with neither woman looking particularly happy. Polaris had a scowl on her face even though she was unconscious and Leda was grumbling about how she was perfectly capable of walking on her own.

"We'll be in our room, don't bother us," Havok requested - well, more of demanded before carrying Polaris on up into the Mutant Underground proper and making a beeline for his room.

"Isn't he just charming?" Watts snipped. He had been trying his best to keep a lid on his ego with everything going on, but he just couldn't help himself. As an asshole, he couldn't help but be extra annoyed by the presence of another asshole of lesser or equal value. He then followed after Sapphire, heading into the Mutant Underground proper, where he saw a kid around Leda's age crying over a corpse.

Sunshine

Location: Mutant Underground: Entranceway
Skills: N/A
Sunshine's heart and soul were aching, as Magik's body slowly grew cold to her touch. She had hugged the corpse tighter in an attempt to delay the inevitable, as if she could just wish a heartbeat back into existence. She wanted to scream and lash out, to burn everything down to the ground. She hadn't even comprehended the depth of her feelings towards Illyana and now, it was too late. She would never get to hear Magik's laugh again. She would never get to stare in awe as Magik summoned her Soulsword and was a complete badass.

Her head was down, buried into Magik's chest. She heard Waverley come over and talk to her. Her roommate had been the first person to try to comfort her. Everyone else had left her. They were either dealing with Max (she hoped Max wouldn't be breathing when he came back, it wasn't right that he was alive while Magik was dead) or off doing something else. But it meant a lot to her to know that Feedback was there. "Th-thanks... I-I-I just... I-I-I can't believe she's..." Sunshine mumbled, lifting her head to look at Feedback.

But Feedback wasn't there anymore.

Sunshine's chin wobbled as she burst into tears all anew.

Casper Theriot

Up the stairs, Andy would find herself in a hallway with about ten doors going off of it. Of course, far less interesting than the doors are the variety of people. Negasonic Teenage Warhead looked at her, raising a slight eyebrow. "Who let Emo Barbie in here?" she asked in her usual monotone. Every now and then, there would be a flicker of pain in her eyes. Negasonic was doing a fairly decent job at keeping her emotions under check, but it was largely since she had a plan in mind to bring Magik back.

"Bold of you to assume I don't have at least ten phones on me at any given moment," Negasonic then told Glimpse frankly, unlocking her phone and handing it over to her. She was watching her movements like a hawk, almost daring Glimpse to try to look through her text messages instead of placing a call.

Havok then rushed up the stairs, carrying Polaris. He opened the door to his room, went inside, and slammed it behind him.

Meanwhile, poor Casper was still stuck! He had no clue at all how to get back into his body, since from what he could tell, he was a ghost - just a living ghost and not a dead one. Luckily, his bod seemed to be able to breathe on its own without him telling it to do that, especially since Nurse James Extraordinaire was there to keep him from dying. A lightbulb went off above Casper's head! "James!!! I'm trapped!! I need you to get Negasonic's phone and look up the WikiHow for when you're trapped as a ghost! Or the Wikipedia plot summary of any movie with something similar, just you have to make sure I've already seen it or I don't want to see it since I cannot stand spoilers! Unless I'm the one telling them, then I love spoilers!"

"This is a fantastic strategy - except for one thing," Ben reminded him. "James can't hear you."

"What about the power of love? Doesn't that count for something? I know that I love James a lot, and even if in Wanda's vision he didn't want to be with me, I'm sure that isn't the case here!" Casper said, but his words faltered a bit at the end despite his rise in volume. "...What if James doesn't love me, Ben?" he asked, his words slowing.

Andy had walked away from the green-haired girl shaking her head. She was weird, even if she was an alien. What alien didn't do at least a little research on the world they were going to? It was like the aliens from that movie signs who were allergic to water and came to earth for some reason Andy could never fathom. She didn't respond to the girl. Having made her way up the stairs she was surprised to see so many people.

"Veil did." She considered a response to the barbie comment and decided to go with a shrug. Andy also considered informing the people in the area about the guy who died, but she figured she couldn't give it the meaning it had for them. They had all seemed upset in the van and it seemed like he had been an important part of their group. Andy did not want to be the messenger for that bad news. "I feel like this is a bad time though." She sipped at the monster that Echo had bought.

She shifted, the movement reminiscent of a fighter getting ready to go for a feint. Andy wanted to be alone. She was done with being around this chaos group. Andy moved away and picked a door at random. The only thing she knew for certain to avoid was the room Havok had just gone into. The door she picked was for room six. Andy unknowingly had, to avoid people, picked the room for the dead guy.

Callie Johnson

Location: The Ruins of the Old Mutant Underground HQ
Skills: N/A

Callie dropped to her knees once Colossus had let go of her, the weird sharp pain in her head was now suddenly gone which was a relief, now she looked around she wasnt even sure where it had suddenly came from either. "It's okay big guy.." Callie said taking short breathes as she slowly stood up, wincing slightly as she held her sides, her entire body really ached now at this point. Callie turned her head towards the road seeing a jeep coming towards them, letting out a soft sigh seeing that it was just Echo coming to pick them up. Colossus was the first to get into the front seat of the jeep seeing it shift to one side due to his massive eight in his organic steel form. Callie then slowly limped her way towards the jeep and sat in the back seat she reached over to gently pat Colossus on the shoulder to try and comfort him a little bit.

"Sorry if I bleed a little bit in the back seat, getting shot at by a Purifier isnt really fun either." Callie said, she knew that Echo didnt really like his things or his appearance to get to dirty either. She shifted slightly to where she would have the less amount of pain. The day was just really bad, they had lost two of their own today as she made a note to check in on Veil, knowing that her friend was most likely blaming herself for everything that had happened today.

Kristina Smith

Location: Mutant Underground HQ
Skills: N/A

"If you are okay with it, i'd like to stay here for awhile and help out if I can it's the least I can do for letting me stay here." Kristina said towards Veil, it was the least that she could do since they were willing to take her in. She looked around the area, his eyes staring at the girl around her age holding a head body of a girl in her arms. Kris felt really bad for her, she must have been someone that she cared for, the body must have been the one that Veil had mentioned dying to the others.

The weird green haired girl snapped at Andy in some other language that she didnt even know, and then Andy heading up the flight of stairs, she decided to go and try to cheer up Sunshine. She went over to the bag of food that Echo had got and made her way over towards Sunshine and handed her a Slim Jim and a Monster Energy Drink. "I'm sorry for your loss, if you want to talk or something feel free to. I'm Kristina by the way."

"Sadly you learn to deal with people who have major egos really quickly," she responded pointedly to Watts, before she went a bit rigid hearing James' words. No, oh hell no he did not just fucking call her that! "Alright, whose head to I have to bash in for that," she grumbled instantly before she motioned for Watts and Leda to follow her and she headed up to the medical area, a bit of an aura of cold surrounded her as she more or less sort of stomped her way over to the medical area, odds were that James would hear her coming before she even entered the room. She was in a very bad mood, and the fact that he was acting like he could boss her around was pissing her off to no end at all.

"Okay what the fuck do you want?" she instantly snapped at James as she walked into the room and went straight up to being right next to him. She was still fairly battered and bruised from being hit by a car in her attempts to try and save Waverly who had jumped out of a flying car, which was still dumb in her mind, and she still had Cayden's blood on her hands, and it was clear that she was beyond pissed off at him. "I am not in the mood for any bullshit or whatever, got it, so call me that again and there are going to be major issues. Oh, and we've got someone to help out with the whole M-Pox thing but you need to heal his daughter first who got shot by Purifiers, so mind helping out with that since we're up here now?"

Zari couldn't help but feel a little bit out of place, like she didn't belong with this group, but then again in her mind at the moment she didn't really belong anywhere here. She belonged back home, but she knew that she couldn't go home, not yet anyway, and instead she wandered over to a corner of the Entrance way area, and sat down on the ground, the robotic eyeball bobbing up and down a bit as it went and sort of hovered near her as she reached into her bag, pulling out her journal and flipping through a few of the pages, until she landed on one particular page. One that she had stared at more then once before, and she pulled out a pen as the words of the prophecy that the Norns had given to her went through her head, again and again. That was the reason she couldn't go home, no matter how much she wanted to.

"01000001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01101111 01101011 01100001 01111001 00100000 01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00111111 00100000 01011001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 01101101 00100000 01100001 00100000 01101100 01101001 01110100 01110100 01101100 01100101 00100000 01100010 01101001 01110100 00100000 01110011 01100001 01100100..." Mr. Eyeball beeped at her, and she looked up at the robot that was just bobbing around.

"I am a little bit... I haven't been here very long, and I already miss home... Not to mention I still have no idea what the rest of these words mean! I know I was supposed to go back in time to the year I was born, but... Aside from that... Nothing... I have no one here, my parents don't even know I exist yet and well... I just want to deal with this quickly and I want to go home..." she said softly. The writing in her journal was all in Norwegian, so unless everyone else suddenly knew how to read it, they likely wouldn't. It was easier for her to write in her native language, as opposed to English, since it was easier for her to understand it.

"01001101 01100001 01111001 01100010 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101110 00100000 01100111 01100101 01110100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01110000 01100101 01101111 01110000 01101100 01100101 00100000 01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01101000 01100101 01101100 01110000 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00111111 00100000 01010100 01101000 01100101 01111001 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 01101101 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01100011 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01100001 01100010 01101111 01110101 01110100 00100000 01101001 01100110 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100111 01100101 01110100 00100000 01101000 01110101 01110010 01110100 00100000 01101111 01110010 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01101100 01101001 01101011 01100101 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100001 01110100."

"Well no one seems to believe that I even am part Asgardian, since no one seemed to even comment about it... Asgardians aren't very common here on Midgard last I checked, at least here, since Ragnarok hasn't happened yet here from what I know about it... How would they be able to help me figure out a prophecy of sorts that they probably don't even know anything about, I'm stuck with nothing I can do, no help really, and I'm stuck here doing this on my own. What do you expect me to be able to do? No one believes me, I'm alone, and people seem to think that I'm a freak!"

"01001001 01110100 00100111 01110011 00100000 01101111 01101011 01100001 01111001 00100000 01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101100 01101101 00100000 01100100 01101111 01110111 01101110 00100000 01100001 00100000 01101100 01101001 01110100 01110100 01101100 01100101 00100000 01100010 01101001 01110100..."

"No it isn't, it never will be..." she said, before she started tapping a bit at her watch before a holographic display popped up and it showed her a picture of her with her parents, and she fell silent, not really saying anything to the robot as it started nudging at her, trying to make her feel better.

Location: Old HQ -> Backseat of car
Skills ?

Jack wasn't too sure what all to say when Echo decided to show up with his car to pick them up and take them back to the Underground current HQ. At least then he might be able to see if someone (or anyone) could potentially figure out what it was that was causing his major headache. He was starting to doubt that it had anything to do with his illness, since at this point he was starting once again to feel somewhat better, despite the fact that this headache wasn't seemingly going away anytime soon. This was definitely not a fun thing in this instance.

Walking over to where the car was, and watching the vehicle sag downwards from Colossus' weight, he didn't really comment on that as he got into the backseat by Callie, "Thanks for the ride," he said to Echo, before glancing over at Callie, "I mean there are worse things you could have end up on the backseat, blood is nothing and if he complains that's his problem," he said to her with a bit of a laugh, not really saying anything else about it as he just waited for them to get back to the HQ.

Now someone else was a target of the mental attacks, despite the person causing them wasn't even really trying to do them at this point. Echo would feel like a headache was just about to start, not really painful but more or less just annoying, but after a moment, that changed entirely as it shifted to being a throbbing pain in his head, that seemingly just appeared out of nowhere at this point. It was a throbbing pain that was definitely not going away.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna took the phone from Negasonic and quickly dialed her father's number but before she could put the phone to her ear, she felt a warmth coming from her ear. She held the phone away and touched her ear, seeing blood again. She rubbed her fingers together and sniffed it. What a strange thing to come from ears she thought.
Captain Britain's voice started coming from the phone Luna held and her face lit up.
"Hey love, is it important? I'm a tad bit busy."
She put the phone to her non bloodied ear and spoke. ”Daddy! Hi! I just dialed your number,” she exclaimed excitedly. Luna was acting like a small child again, having called her dad for the first time or something. There was such pure joy and love on her face as she spoke to her father.
Slowly, Luna sat down again, although she was having a hard time sitting up. ”Daddy, I think I’m really sick and there are lots of people dying here. You’re not dying are you,” she asked, a sudden fear in her child-like voice.
