Andy was proud of Arthur but was frustrated. Rebecca had flat out told them all multiple times to not attack and they kept attacking. Why? Also why was her brother flying off like that? What was he thinking leaving the group. If something went wrong it was unlikely anyone could save him. Mary could technically, but would she? It seemed like she didn't particularly care for Demetri.

Andy took a deep breath and considered shooting more electricity at the dragon, but it appeared she had been wrong. It didn't see the ship. Its eyes weren't tracking them. "Impressive Rebecca, it doesn't seem to notice us even though people aren't listening to you." She then moved over to Arthur's side. "Good job. I'm sorry that you have to fight for your life. It is unfair. I don't want to do it either, but even before camp it was the only way to continue to live."

Niah raised an eyebrow as she watched the group use their powers. "Remind me to never piss you all off." Niah snorted. "Also my dad knows where I am. I'm pretty close with him, but there wasn't really a place for me to go in the Phillipines."

"Yeah I'm with you." Emily said. "Mind you I didn't get involved cause I'm pretty certain making the guy think he was a chicken, or having a bunch of grape vines appear on the road all would have been bad choices." Emily said shrugging slightly. She seemed really uncomforble with the conversation about if camp was a cult or not. "Better than military camp, or Catholic school." She said under her breath. Thankful her hand was still in Marco's she gave his hand a slight squeeze.

"Oof, same Em. I went to Catholic school in the Phillipines till mom told dad to send me to camp. I got lucky though and dad got some forged documents so I could get here." Niah was in the US illegally. She would eventually have to figure out how to get the paperwork taken care of so she could be here legally. Especially if she wanted to live outside Camp Jupiter. "The funny thing is my dad is not super Cathloic, that was all my grandparents. I mean how religious can you be when you literally have sex with the goddess of oathbinding?" She gave a small shrug, not catching Emily's body language since she was no longer facing backward.

"Anyway changing the subject." Emily said, frustration in her voice. "We are on our way to speak to a Titan. We need a game plan. Something a bit more detailed then let's chat with him. Do we know what we're going to say to him?" Her shoulders relaxed a little as she shifted the conversation away from family and religion. She hated thinking about religion in any sort of context about her family.

Marco could feel Em tense up as the subject changed to religion and military camp. He would have chimed in that his father was fully aware where he was, and that Marco had gotten to see him every summer... but Em needed Marco's attention more. So, using his free hand, he gently nudged the sleepy little sugar glider out of the papoose and onto Em's shoulder. Milo gently nuzzled in against Emily, as if he was fully aware who his mommy was and that she needed some comfort. Marco's fingers gently tangled with Em's as he silently reassured her she was safe... she was with those that accepted and loved her the way she was, the beautiful soul she was.

"I do agree with Em, it might be a good idea for me to know what I should be saying to the Titan. I can't just say 'Don't do bad.' I need to have a purpose behind my words, especially when charmspeaking immortals." Marco sighed as he remembered failing hard at trying to charm speak Terminus once when he had been trying to get a gift for Em. It had ended poorly for Marco when he had started to babble about Em's eyes. (Marco had learned since then to make sure that when using his words to put purpose behind them. "Nancy, Madalyne, this seems to be your quest mostly, any suggestions?"

She was still somewhat soaring around the ship, circling it as she surveyed their current situation regarding the dragons, and what it was that was occurring on the ship down below. The masts of the ship were lit on fire now, and that never was a good sign. However she was glad that Leda seemed to be doing whatever she could to get the flames to die down. A few of the others had gone to the ballistas except Rebecca seemed to be doing some other magic. Given how things had gone with her shield spell, she figured it might not be a good idea to strike against the dragons since she seemed to have found a way to draw them away.

Of course, Demetri seemed to ignore all common sense this time around and just attacked the other dragon that didn't immediately take off. "I thought the idea was to not attack," she muttered under her breath as she still circled the ship, not all too thrilled that Demetri was attacking, since that could screw up their entire thing with whatever spell Rebecca had done. She thought to go chase after him, but figured she was going to just sit back and watch to see what happened with him and the dragon.

He watched as the battle with the dragons continued onwards, as there were two dragons on their side of the fight (Marygold and Demetri in dragon form) and the two that were attacking. Jason was somewhat getting ready to fire off another shot, when he stopped short, paying attention to what was happening, regarding to the battle, as the masts on board the ship caught fire from the dragons' attacks, as well as one of the two taking off and heading in a different direction. "What the?" he muttered, before he looked to see Rebecca with her spellbook.

"What sort of spell did you just do?" he couldn't help but ask as he headed over to the area where she was, as he noticed that Leda had put out the fire. "I'm all for not fighting the dragons if we don't have to, so I trust you when you say don't attack them, just wondering what sort of spell you did that caused the one dragon to take off... We might want to still be somewhat prepared to attack if it decides to attack us and isn't fooled by, well, whatever it is that you did."

"Circe?" she asked slightly, tilting her head to the side when the girl mentioned her. She didn't know much aside from what she had read in the Odyssey. "Isn't she the one who turned Odysseus' men into pigs or something in the Odyssey?" she asked the others, more then a little bit confused as to why Circe was interested with them or whatever. "Well I thought everything involving this quest likely wasn't a good thing..."

She felt Zeke nudge her as he seemed to be trying to provoke a reaction from the girl, to seemingly downplay what was going on in hopes to annoy her. Giggling slightly, she smiled, "Seems to be that way given how things have gone for us recently, I mean I managed to knock her out in one hit, plus all of the other monsters we have faced today haven't exactly been all too difficult to fight. It seems to me like you are over confident in what it is that Echidna can do or whatever, something like that. At least that is how it seems to me."

The second dragon had been attacked and severely injured by the others, as it ended up bursting into dust from its wounds that it had sustained. The other had fallen for the illusion and instantly started to chase after that illusion, the fighting had finally stopped now which was a good thing. When there was a sudden portal that had opened up on the far end of the deck, revealing an island resort of sorts, there was a huge neon sign on the building. The sign would spell C.C.'s Spa and Resort, which Rebecca would instantly recognize it as Circe's island out in the Sea of Monsters, and Circe being a well known goddess of magic as well she would easily be drawn to it.

Kiera turned and jumped off of the ballista and noticed the portal as well, gripping her sword slightly there wasnt anyone coming through the portal, no one seemed to really be on the other end of the portal either. Looking like it was deserted for some reason as well, Kiera looked up at the mast seeing a bunch of foam on it. She had been a bit to busy to even notice that it had caught on fire either, she looked at the others slightly expecting another fight to breakout.

Madalyne Crane

Madalyne looked down for a moment, she had lost her father and stepmother in a car accident when she was younger, and then moving to the US with her grandparents. Before running away eventually and ended up in the Lotus Hotel & Casino, but she ended up meeting Nancy there and it felt like she was the only family she had left. She looked at Nancy and smiled slightly and nodded towards her, she stared at Waverly for a moment and gave a slight shrug. Camp Jupiter wasnt ever a cult, it was a safe haven for all Roman half-bloods to stay at, and be able to train and defend themselves.

"I'm all for changing the subject." Madalyne said as she looked at Nancy and Niah when Emily asked what their gameplan actually was when they met with Atlas. "When we get there, we will ask if he has had any visitors recently, and then ask him if there was anything planned, and Niah can do her oath binding thingy and force him to tell the truth, the rest of us we will have to stay alert in case there are any monster attacks we are in the heart of Titan territory after all." Madalyne said, it took a few minutes until they were now at their location, and Madalyne stepped out looking over at Mount Tam in the distance. "We have to hike the rest of the way." Madalyne said as she started to walk forward.

The girl glared at Zeke as she started to quietly chant something in greek to herself, quietly enough so that none of them could hear her at all. "Want me to Iris Message him and see if he calls you Zekey again?" Kristin asked looking at and smirked slightly knowing that it would really get under his skin quiet a bit. "I'm sure your pops would love to hear from you." Kristin said with a slight laugh, while looking over at the girl for a moment.

When the girl suddenly managed to break free and summoned a dagger in her hands and quickly wrapped her arm around Zeke's neck pulling him in front of her and pointed the knife to his neck. "Dont do anything or his throat gets cut open." The girl said glaring at the other two, as Kristin moved slightly, the girl pressed the knife to his neck a bit more. "Dont try anything dumb." The girl warned both Kristin and Janelle.

Ezekiel was pleased that Janelle followed along with his tactic. He was hoping to goad the girl into revealing more information. Kristin piped up about his dad and them giving him a call which did cause Ezekiel to glare at her a little in return. ”Why are you so obsessed with my name,” he countered. Ezekiel wouldn’t get to respond again because whatever the girl had been muttering, allowed her to produce a dagger, which was now pushing uncomfortably into his throat and he was secured by her arm. He might have been able to get her off with force but that probably would cause a scene on the bus and they would stop again.
Kristin shifted her weight and the point of the dagger pressed in more. Ezekiel glared at Kristin. ”You did that on purpose,” he choked out. In the meantime, Ezekiel had opened his hand, calling the light to him to try and blind the daughter of Circe. It failed him the first time but after a slight delay, the light came to him and he managed to blind the girl.
After that, Ezekiel shifted, attempting to get the dagger from the girl. He struggled with her for a moment, cursing and yanked it from her before he turned it on her. ”Alright, no more mister nice guy. What is your mother doing with Echinda. Tell us what we want to know and we’ll release you and isn’t that what you really want? To tell us what you know and leave us to our fate,” Ezekiel said, attempting to persuade her.

✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck
Skills: Ancient Greek

Rebecca hit her palm against her forehead, seeing Demetri blatantly ignore her request and attack again. She understood that it was a steep learning curve as a new demigod, but how hard could it really be to listen to directions? She watched as he then flew off in the direction of the illusion. Maybe he was trying to fix his mistake. The only problem was that Demetri would have to turn around and rejoin them eventually. He couldn't actually commit to protecting the illusion indefinitely. "για την αγάπη του Δία," she cursed in ancient Greek. Andy's praise only helped to lessen the sting slightly. She couldn't help but notice that Arthur seemed to be having a moment of crisis.

"I manipulated the Mist so that way the creatures would see us fleeing in the opposite direction," Rebecca explained to Jason succinctly. Most people were confused when it came to the various ways the Mist operated - it was both a force of illusions, but also a source of magical powers and might. "It was foolish to attack in the first place. We deserve to be killed by the dragons. It was not our quarrel and we made it so." Luckily though, the remaining dragon had been fooled by the illusion, chasing after it. It was just a question as to whether or not Demetri could make it back safely.

She closed her spell book securely, still focusing on the illusion - until she was caught entirely by surprise. A portal of sorts had appeared out of nowhere, depicting the lodgings of Circe. Her entire being was positively vibrating with excitement, nerves, regret, and longing. Rebecca's fatal flaw was the call of the void - the urge when standing at an edge to jump into the abyss. She approached the portal almost like she was sleepwalking, seeing the ticket to everything she had wanted in life. Part of her wanted to justify it to everyone, to point out that it must have been of cosmic importance and that it would connect back to the larger mission.

"Arthur, Andy.... Jason... Accept your true nature and you will find peace," Rebecca said. She was facing away from the portal. "I must see this through." It was an emotional crossroads - her destiny or her friends. But in order to become an immortal sorceress, she had to accept that her friends would likely die and go to Hades one day.

Rebecca took one last look at them all, before she stepped backward and fell through the portal, vanishing.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck
Skills: N/A

Leda couldn't say she was exactly surprised. She snorted slightly as Rebecca fell through the portal, chasing the dream of hers. Rebecca couldn't resist the dark arts, that was mostly why the two of them had broken up. The goth aesthetic was cute, but knowing that Rebecca didn't mind ritual sacrifice was a dealbreaker. "Can't say I didn't see that one coming, luv," she murmured to Kiera. "I guess one day we'll get a quest from the Oracle to go put her down." Not all demigods were good after all - and technically, Rebecca was a demititan. A small portion of Leda was angry at the situation, but she didn't know why. She didn't like Rebecca that way anymore. She shouldn't have cared that Rebecca bailed on them and left - maybe that was the source of her anger. Did she feel abandoned? Betrayed? Left behind?

There wasn't time for this sort of emotional whiplash though. She wasn't too sure that the dragon wouldn't turn around and start chasing them. She was pretty sure that with Rebecca gone, her spell wasn't going to hold up much longer. Leda rolled her wrist slightly, getting ready for a sword fight with a flying lizard. Her life was so weird, but she did love the moments where she could just kill monsters like an absolute badass.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Uber
Skills: Strategy

"You act like our religion isn't reality," Nancy commented a bit sharply. "Maybe the schools in Vegas were shit, but none of my textbooks mentioned these cults being right about the nature of the world and all. As for the family bit... Well, if I see my mother again, I'd like to put a cigarette out in her eye." She didn't have any living mortal family as far as she was aware. She was pretty certain her mother had to be dead by now, especially given the life she had led. Her only family came from her father's divine side - for instance, Emily was her first cousin. She shifted uncomfortably as Emily brought up the powers she inherited from Bacchus.

Once Madalyne gave her portion of the plan, Nancy chimed in to elaborate further. The two of them were so in sync sometimes they finished each other's sentences after all. "Marco and Niah are Team Tricking Atlas Into Making an Oath, Mads and Waves can do their magic stuff to make sure no one else sees us, and... erm, Emily and I will be the muscle. Kicking ass. Looking cool. All that rad stuff." When the Uber came to a halt, she scooted on out and stretched out her limbs. Roman armor wasn't always the most comfortable stuff for a car ride. She fell into step next to Madalyne, beginning the hike.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Lower Decks
Skills: Deception, Shapeshifting

Demetri was unsure of weather the heat of rage he felt bubbling inside of him was because of his current Draconic state, or his annoyance towards Mary at this point. "Oh was that the idea? Well maybe you shouldn't of dragged us all into a dragons fight!" He thought to himself as he flew on towards the illusory ship. He turned to look behind him, seeing the dragon burst into ash and the other following suit. Perfect. Demetri beat his wings a few more as the illusion disappeared and caused him to panic for a moment. He looked back again, noticing the dragon was still fleeing and deciding to join the rest. He dove down, tucking his wings to his side as he plummeted beneath a cloud and opened them back up to glide over towards the Argo III. His shadow loomed over the ship just before he started to land and shift back into himself.

Demetri huffed out a spout of fire as his transformation finally finished and he looked at Leda and the others. They seemed to be staring at a blank space on the ship and he looked about for someone to speak up on what had happened. "Whooo. Man. That was a new experience. I should be a dragon more often...though hopefully in better circumstances." He stretched his back and arms as he saw some inner turmoil within Leda. "Ok why do I feel like I've missed some major event or something? We all made it back and the ships...ok." His gaze turned towards the foamy mast as he cringed at the destruction.

Arthur turned his attention to Andy and looked away from the fleeing dragon. "I'm sorry life was that way for you. It's not fair, and it's not okay." He said, crossing his arms, and pulling his arms away from the ballista. He was looking for words, but it wss hard to find anything past childish complaining. This all hurt, a lot, and he was exhausted. "I just... I need things to not be terrible for a little while. You know?" He said, exhaling. As the portal opened, he turned to watch Rebecca disappear. A look of surprise crossed his face, wondering where she was going and why.

It felt like a goodbye, and at least this loss of a friend wasn't death. He felt bad, things were unfinished with Rebecca, and now he wouldn't get to resolve them at all. This all said, he hoped she would be alright, wherever she was. It was just him and Andy now, really, in a lot of ways. The others were kind, but it felt like everyone else he had started to get close to had disappeared, one way or another. If that happened with Andy, he honestly didn't know what he'd do, but he would do everything he could to prevent that from happening. He needed her more than anything right now.

Andy's eyes went wide as Rebecca jumped through a portal. She didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. While things had been tense Andy liked Rebecca. She looked to Arthur who looked just as surprised as her. She stepped closer to him. Her feelings mirrored his a lot. But her heart also had her brother in it. Whatever else could be said about being with camp she had a family now, however small, and Arthur.

There were no more dragons, well no more to fight. The last still chased after the now gone image that Rebecca had created. She wanted to give a sigh of relief that they were out of the fight, but Andy didn't believe they would have much rest time. She looked up to the sky. A part of her angry at her father, he brought her into the world and abandoned her mother. And somehow from there, she had been left behind. Always. She was always being left behind. "Arthur, don't leave me." She whispered, quietly that he probably couldn't even hear her.

Emily smiled brightly and let Milo cuddle up against her neck as Marco caressed her. It felt so nice to be loved. She was truly loved. Marco never gave her conditions to be loved either. Something that she had never experienced before being with him. Emily gave Milo some pets letting the soft critter soak away her worries and fears.

Niah nodded. "I can also see if I can piss him off if we need it. People say dumb things when they are angry." Niah offered. It was her other gift. The one she didn't particularly care about in the grand scheme of things. There could have been much better powers for her to have inherited. Something that would have worked better with her oath binding. Oath binding did a great job of making her useful in the senate but did a terrible job of being helpful on the field.

Emily gave a nod when Nancy tasked her with being the muscle. She could do that. She could control a field well with her power over plants. She could also fight well enough with a sword. Emily had been in enough fights throughout her life. Emily climbed out of the car and put Milo back in the carrier. It seemed like a really bad idea to keep him out of the carrier in the wilderness. She leaned in so just Marco could hear her as she did, "Thank you, I needed that."

Niah climbed out of the car. She took a deep breath of air. "Let me put my armor on now." She said and started putting the armor on. It took a bit of time, but the armor had been well cared for since it had come to be in her possession. "Uh, is the car paid for alright?" Niah asked Marco. She might not be as lost as Nancy and Mads with new technology but she was still a few years behind since she had been at camp the last four years, and before that she had been a kid living in a different country.

Marco looked over at Emily, and smiled softly as he noticed her calm down a bit when Milo snuggled into her neck. He could tell she was going back to the old days, and he was there to be her tether to the present. As Nancy listed him off as team trick he had to suppress a laugh at that. "Alright then, I'll sweet talk him and figure out what he knows before Niah and I trap him into an oath. As for pissing him off well, I'll leave that to you lovely ladies. I mean I could insult his father or remind him of his failures. He is holding up the whole world for a reason."

As they got out of the car, and Emily gently put Milo back into the papoose, Marco smiled and kissed her forehead sweetly. "Anything for you, mon amour. Mon cher," He murmured so that just Emily could hear his words, before turning to Niah and nodded in response to her question. "Yeah, I paid him and tipped him... and thankfully he won't be remembering any of this ride once we're a bit away." Marco had made sure to make the charmspeak work long enough and was powerful enough that their driver would not remember the odd group in his car. It had just been another ride for him, nothing atypical at all.

He gently tucked the blanket around Milo so that the little sugar glider could sleep if he needed, and then slipped his hand into Em's for a moment and squeezed it softly. "So which way are we heading now?"

Waverley winced when Nancy snapped at her, shrinking into herself as the sharply spoken words dug into her gut. It admittedly hurt the sensitive girl. Emotionally, of course, an important distinction to make when talking about someone who could make words physically hurt. The argument hadn't convinced Waverley that Camp Jupiter wasn't a cult, but it had convinced her that it was a subject she wanted to drop, especially when she sensed it put Emily on edge. She let Nancy have the last word, getting the feeling that the strong-willed girl was the type who preferred it that way. She didn't mind; she just wanted to move onto something else before anyone else yelled at her. Her shoulders were still shrugged up uncomfortably around her neck when Niah spoke, though whether that was from the argument or Niah's suggestion was hard to tell.

"Uh, yeah, I don't know much about all the lore and stuff, but it seems to me that maybe purposely poking the buttons of the primordial being that holds up the world isn't such a stellar idea," she nervously suggested. When the vehicle came to a stop and her teammates began to file out, she grabbed her luggage and followed, stopping for a moment to give the driver a wave. "Thanks so much for the ride," she thanked, before hopping out. She set her suitcase down as soon as she was out, waiting for Niah beside Marco and Emily as the praetors began to walk. As they waited, Waverley absentmindedly plucked her strings, an unintentional habit that within seconds became a melody. With the luggage, she wouldn't be able to play on the walk, so she figured she'd do her best to raise the group's spirits before they started.

"There's a road calling you to stray
Step by step, pulling you away
Under moon and star
Take the road, no matter how far
Where it leads no one ever knows
Don't look back, follow where it goes
Far beyond the sun
Take the road, wherever it runs
The road goes on, ever ever on
Hill by hill, mile by mile
Field by field, stile by stile
The road goes on, ever ever on"

As Waverley sang the verse, she attempted to pour joy into it using the divine influence her music so often had on her listeners' emotions. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to take this time, with the song coming out instead as a normal (albeit well-played) rendition. It had been the first ability she'd discovered, one that she'd never really paid much mind to. After all, every song was capable of manipulating emotions. Hers were just capable of taking it to the extreme. It wasn't until she'd gotten trained by Lupa that she realized it was a supernatural ability. Even then it seemed odd. What did such an ability have to do with Trivia, the goddess of magic that Madalyne had convinced her was her mother? She was pulled out of her thoughts by Marco.

"Uh...I guess we're supposed to be following them," Waverley answered, using the neck of her guitar to point at Nancy and Madalyne, who'd already started walking. With that, she hoisted up her suitcase, and began to follow.

Jason watched as the dragon that was still near them turned to dust and vanished into thin air, the other one seemingly not bothering them anymore. That was nice, not having to deal with dragons attacking them anymore. Of course, things were definitely more then a bit strange still, as a portal seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Then again, he supposed that he shouldn't really be all too surprised anymore regarding what tends to happen, and he certainly didn't really recognize the place, though others seemed to, in particular Rebecca did.

"Uh what?" he said towards Rebecca, a bit confused, before he watched her go through the portal and it closed behind her. "...What was that, and did that just happen?" he couldn't help but ask, glancing around at everyone else. Jason had no idea what the others really thought about the situation and Rebecca taking off through some strange portal, then again for all he knew it could have been perfectly normal sort of thing to happen with demigods. It would be nice to actually understand what sort of things would be considered "normal" now, but he knew he probably wasn't going to get an answer to that question.

She just watched as the dragon near them turned to dust from it's injuries, and she sort of circled around, trying to make sure that the other dragon wasn't going to come back, before she headed back to the ship, and started shifting back to normal, landing on the upper deck as her normal self. "Well that was fun, never shifted into a dragon before, but I guess you learn to accommodate for what you're given I guess," she commented as she wandered over to where everyone else seemed to have gathered on the deck.

"Though I at least didn't shift into a cutesy little baby dragon first time I shifted," she then added glancing towards Demetri before she once more looked at the others. "...I'm with him, what'd we miss while we were flying around in the air by the dragon? Since from what you all are saying and looking at empty space something had to have happened, so spill," she asked as she looked, taking note of who all was there, and noticing that Rebecca was no longer with the group, despite having been there moments ago using her magic to shield the ship.

"You two are a bit ridiculous in my opinion," she said, directing her words towards Kristin and Zeke, since their back and forth despite being kind of funny was getting to be a little bit annoying to her, since she half the time seemed like she was stuck in the middle of it. Of course she was somewhat hoping that they would be able to get something from the girl, since she didn't seem all too thrilled to remain stuck with them, this was likely the only somewhat good thing to happen to them, since at least they might be able to get some info from her.

Of course, that was before she heard a sort of commotion going on that was being spoken about, and she was a bit confused as to what was going on, "Did something happen?" she couldn't help but ask, tilting her head to the side, clearly confused as to what was going on, before she heard the girl threatening someone who only could have been Zeke. A moment later, she heard another commotion, and it seemed like Zeke might have turned the tide of things against the girl again. "Um, what happened? She just attacked I'm guessing, is everything fine now or do I need to hit her in the head with my staff again..."

Both Alannah and Lauryn were still pretty quiet for the most part after Rebecca had jumped through the portal to Circe's island, just as the two dragons Demetri and Mary shifted back and onto the deck Alannah sighed for a moment. "There was a portal that randomly appeared out of nowhere. It looked like Circe's island, in the Sea of Monsters, or what mortals usually call the Bermuda Triangle." Alannah said looking at Andy and Arthur, she walked over towards them and gently rested a hand on their shoulders to try and comfort them and smiled slightly. Hopefully they wont end up having to fight Rebecca or something like that it was really hard ending up fighting your former friends, it reminded her slightly with the Second Titan War a few years ago.

Kiera gently rested a hand on Leda's shoulder while looking over at her for a moment, knowing that she and Rebecca had dated in the past before. She couldnt imagine having to fight someone that you cared for in the past, and what Leda had said Rebecca was always like that or something. "Well if we have to fight her at some point we will together." Kiera whispered back towards Leda and gave her a slight smile, while looking over at one of the masts that Leda had used a fire extinguisher on. She mentally hit herself for not dealing with that during the fighting, at least it was taken care of right now. "So what now?" Kiera asked looking over at Lauryn and Alannah, to see what they would want to do next.

"Well luckily our next stop is Hephaestus' junkyard out in the Nevada desert, so we can get some parts to patch up the mast, we arent in any danger yet unless we end up getting into another fight anyway." Lauryn told them, as she went over towards the wheelhouse to see if there was anything else that got damaged during the fight.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Base of Mount Othrys

"Just stay close, as a group and remember all that fun training and stuff and work together." Madalyne said looking at Nancy as she added more onto the plan and nodded towards her, as they started the long climb up to the summit of Mount Othrys. When she started to feel the ground shaking Madalyne quickly started to mess with the Mist, luckily that the mist was the thickest here she found it very easily to manipulate.

A massive sized Pit Scorpion had come through the trees, Madalyne held out her hand looking over at the others. She had seen them once before but they were small no bigger than an average person's hand, someone must have given it a massive dose of steroids or gamma radiation. It's massive mandibles made a few clicking sounds as it looked in the groups direction, before going off in the distance. "Okay, i've seen Pit Scorpions before, but none of them that size before. Their poison can kill you within a minute if you dont have a way to treat it." Madalyne told the others, and looked at Niah since she could easily fly. "Think you could scout ahead or something by flying to see if theres anything in the surrounding area? I can keep you hidden." Madalyne asked.

"Because I know it annoys the shit out of you." Kristin said rolling her eyes slightly at him for a moment as the girl held Zeke at knife point. Luckily Zeke managed to blind the woman using his ability, and then subdued her, letting out a slight sigh as she looked over towards Janelle for a moment. "She must have used some magic to make a knife and held Zeke by the throat." She told Janelle as she looked at Zeke for a moment the girl was rubbing her eyes and were watering slightly trying to get the spots out of her eyes.

"Why would I even tell you?" The girl asked glaring at the three of them, as Kristin thought for a moment before taking the knife, using the handle of the knife hitting the woman as hard as she could. Knocking her out she looked at the two of them, then over towards Janelle for a moment. "No need to knock her out, we just need to find a way to get the info out of her." Kristin thought for a moment getting a bit of an idea. "Your the daughter of Hypnos the god of sleep, maybe if we could try and enter her dream or something we could get the info from there." Kristin said, figuring that it would be another good idea to get the info out of the child of Circe.

Ezekiel relaxed when Kristin knocked her out but frowned still. Now what they were supposed to do. He looked at Janelle, feeling bad for a moment that he hadn’t explained to her but in his defense, Ezekiel had been a bit preoccupied. He settled in his seat, looking at the unconscious girl. At least the only knives he had to worry about now was Kristin’s verbal knives. He searched in his bag for something to drink while Kristin produced an idea.
”That’s not a bad idea. Plus, it gives you a chance to try out your power Janelle. And keeps us from getting stabbed,” he said. Ezekiel had some water he brought from camp that he sipped before putting it back into his bag. At least the girl was already knocked out, it should be easy for Janelle to get into the girls mind now, Ezekiel just didn’t know how that happened. He looked at Janelle. ”It might seem weird but you probably already know what you need to do. Kind of like when you started fighting for the first time. In the beginning, our abilities just kind of take over, until we learn control,” he said.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Lower Decks
Skills: Greek Mythos

A lot had seemed to happen in the short moments that he was in thr sky. One second Rebecca was there with them and thr next she had been spirited away through some portal to the Sea of Monsters in the Bermuda Triangle by the daughter of her mother...so her sister? That couldn't be all bad, surely she was safe and learning magic that she could only dream of. He thought back towards what he knew of Circe and how she acted and decided that Rebecca would not become a threat but instead a powerful ally. "There's no need for talk like that, especially in front of the kids. Circe isn't inherently evil, she makes advances on men sure but that doesn't make her evil. I'm sure Rebecca will get along with her half sister, learn some kick ass new spells, and rejoin us as a major ally and friend. No doubt about it. And if we think she needs to be pulled out, let me go in after her. Worst case I'm turned into an animal and can shape back. Best case daddy dearest will have my back."

Demetri didn't want to dwell on the idea of fighting his friend, this wasnt where he wished to hyper fixate. No instead he decided to move onto the next plan, where they were going and what they were doing. "Ok then, so next up is some junkyard? Cant be too bad. I'm sure speedy here can help out a ton and I can grab a birds eye view for whatever we're looking for. Maybe even find a fun toy to play with while we're at it. Hopefully we won't need any for the rest of the trip but its better to not need and have than to need and not have." Demetri wasn't sure he enjoyed this, this nagging thought in the back of his head. Everyone he grew close to was disappearing. Rebecca. Des, what if Zeke was next? Or Andy? He needed something to go right and soon.

Leda snorted a bit as Demetri asked what he had missed. Mary asked the same question and Jason, despite being present, was similarly confused. "Oh, Sabrina the Teenage Witch decided to defect to the dark side, that's all. And I don't mean the one from the 90's show - I mean the Satanic one from Netflix," she answered. There was a hint of mischief in her voice, masking the bitter anger that was boiling inside of her. Rebecca hadn't even really properly said goodbye. She hadn't hesitated before abandoning them all on a quest to save the entire world, jumping through a portal at the chance to learn from an evil sorceress. She hoped that Circe would turn Rebecca into a pig. It would serve her right.

She put her hand on Kiera's, giving it a squeeze. "If we're lucky, we won't have to," she murmured. She didn't want to fight Rebecca. From a practical standpoint, magic users were incredibly challenging to face. They usually had elaborate spells and rituals that allowed them to summon armies and manipulate fundamental forces. Knowing Rebecca, it would likely be a legion of the undead they would need to fight through in order to stop a ritual sacrifice or something. She hoped that Rebecca would die before she got to that point. But Leda also recognized that the Rebecca she had once had a crush on wasn't there now - it was what had driven her to end their relationship. Rebecca didn't just flirt with darkness - she was darkness.

"Oi, this junk yard yeah? Any chance we can get it in writing from the H Bloke that it's all cool for us to go on through there?" Leda asked. The gods tended to be touchy about their things - even trash. For instance, Aphrodite still liked Ares even though he was objectively garbage. She didn't mind Demetri calling her Speedy - she was a huge DC comic fan and she loved the Green Arrow's sidekick.

"If Atlas could've let go of the sky, he would've done it eons ago. So as long as you don't offer to take the weight from him, we're golden," Nancy explained to Waverley. She had turned around as she walked for a brief moment in order to make eye contact with the young legionnaire. She understood that being new to all of this, there was a lot of information to take in, but she was beginning to get a sneaking suspicion that Waverley might have been skipping some of the mandatory classes in order to play guitar. She couldn't really blame her. Nancy hadn't done well at sitting in a classroom at any point in her life.

Turning back around, she kept on walking in line with Madalyne. It wasn't too long until the ground felt like it was shaking and Nancy froze in her tracks, ready to belt a defense Joan Jett lyric to make anything that moved funny explode. She was as still and tense as she could be as Madalyne signaled for them all to halt. The gigantic scorpion that came into view sent a shiver down her spine. Its aura radiated danger and death. "How very," she commented as Madalyne explained that the pit scorpions were basically a death sentence. "If it comes back, I can pop it like a piñata."

Arthur Stanford

Location:Argo III: Upperdeck

Arthur mirrored Andy in a way, taking a step closer as well. He couldn't hear her, but he knew it was important to stay close to the people who you could trust and who you had, and that was Andy right now. He needed her more than anything, and a part of him knew that that need was reciprocated. Everything felt so terrible, but maybe things could be a little better as long as the two of them were together. Even if that meant that didn't stay at the camp forever, they could be safe and maybe even happy together.

Taking her hand again, he squeezed a little, before turning his attention to Alannah, "So she just abandoned us for no reason?" He asked, a little coldly. The sea of monsters? Bermuda triangle? Circe? These terms meant little to him, outside of having faintly heard conspiracy theories about the triangle. He didn't understand why she would just leave them. That didn't make sense in his head. They were, it seemed, at least kind of friends, and to just abandon them all seemed cold, and a little sociopathic.

Andy hated that she felt like some of the older kids were coddling her. Yeah, she was upset, but who wouldn't be. Rebecca had been the one who had been teaching her magic. Who was supposed to teach her now? And she was the only one who understood Arthur's powers even a little bit. They had needed her, but she had left.

His hand reached into hers, and her eyes went a little wide for a split second, but it felt right, and she gently squeezed his hand back. "Who is supposed to teach us now?" She asked quietly, voicing her concerns. Leda had been teaching her about the stories and giving her an idea of what the Greeks' world was like, but that wasn't the same. "No one else can control the dead." She added.

Emily placed her seeds in a slightly more accessible location. She wanted to make sure that if she needed to control some vines and there wasn't any available, she'd have them easily tossed to the ground. As they walked, she held Marco's hand. As much as she loved camp, it was pleasant not to be there. She was startled by the scorpion and didn't like that. Mads said she had never seen one that big before. That was worrisome.

Niah was in the rear of the traveling party listening to Waverly's music. It was a nice tune, and she enjoyed listening to it. Niah herself had never had much skill in music. However, it wasn't like she had gone out of her way to learn it. She had her skills, and they were on the battlefield. She understood people in a fight better than anywhere else, and she knew how to make them mad. Of course, she also knew an Oathbreaker when she saw one. There was no stopping that, and it was what defined her growing up. She looked surprised but was ready to fight quickly; however, the scorpion didn't seem to want to fight as it went the other direction.

Niah nodded at Mads suggestion and took to the air. She had some control over the suit since they had spent quite a bit of time using it when they had gone to deal with the dragon. However, she hadn't used it a lot since then. In the air, she looked around and was able to see a plume of smoke. It was in the direction they were heading. Interesting.

Emily watched as Niah took to the sky. Her stomach twisted a bit. It wasn't that she had a fear of heights or anything, but she liked knowing where her support came from. And with the magical armor, she just couldn't see herself trusting it as thoroughly as Niah did. She shook her head and Niah called down. "There is smoke up that way." Niah was pointing toward the top of Mount Tam. Emily noticed that Niah specifically said smoke and not fire. Where there was smoke there was usually fire. And something causing it. But Niah seemed to be only willing to say there was smoke cause that was what she saw.

"Right...Training..." Waverley mumbled, followed by a nervous chuckle. While she was better trained in fighting than the average civilian, she was nowhere near as combatively skilled as the others in their little posse, or even most Camp Jupiter campers. She didn't consider herself a pacifist, but she never really liked fighting, which might come as a surprise for a girl whose head had been crammed full of fantasy stories growing up. It was why a baton swung from her hip in place of a sword. So, needless to say, she visibly cringed when Nancy painted the visceral image in her mind of blowing up the Pit Scorpion.

"Yeah, let's just hope it doesn't come down to that," she said, her face still twisted up in light disgust. The screwed up eyebrows popped up in surprise, however, when Niah suddenly took to the skies from beside her, and she flinched away a little. Despite being ten months into her stay at Camp Jupiter, she still hadn't quite adjusted to all the weird supernatural stuff her fellow campers could do. She squinted up at the sky, watching the oathbinder sail up the mountain through the air. As soon as she got back, Waverley beamed up at her. "Dude, you've gotta let me try that armor sometime! I've always wanted to know what flying would feel like," she exclaimed, though her excitement was dampened by Niah's explanation of what she saw. "Smoke? How much? Like, campfire smoke, or forest fire smoke?"

Marco gently held onto Emily's hand as they walked together, and he noticed her spreading out the seeds behind them. He knew what she was doing and he didn't blame her at all. Who knew what they could find plant wise up on Mount Tam. He knew there was that tree there, the one with the golden apples, but he didn't know if Emily could control that. It could be too risky, considering the fact that the tree had a protector. When the scorpion came into view, he did have to pause for a moment. That was not a good sign that those monsters were out here this far from the Mountain itself, as well as it's size.

Marco held Emily's hand tighter when he noticed her reaction to watching Niah take off. He did frown when Niah called down that she saw smoke. Just smoke. In California smoke was never a good sign. "Can you tell which way the fire is coming from? That might be where we need to go." He frowned a bit at that as he was distracted by Waverly. It was probably Niah's armor, and you really didn't ask to borrow other people's magical items. His other hand gently touched the compact in his pocket, and he rarely let anyone else use it. If anything it was only Emily.
