"Villain? Eh I can do that just depends on how far you want is to go with it teach? Do you wanna make us go all out with out quirks? Be cartoonish evil? You gotta throw us a bone here how am I suppose to play to impress if I don't know how far to take it? I don't like going off half cocked Miss Akane! You just gotta point me in the right direction, and I'll do my best...not sure about that lack of confidence thing but whatever gotta even up the teams somehow." Comments Kouji as he starts stretching. He bounces eagerly on his feet as he prepares to think of what ways he can effectively use his quirk against his opponents. The other team has some strong quirk users...But they still thought his quirk was weak sauce from his weaker display earlier...probably not the best way to figure that out was a wind blast to the face. He lost to UA due to a lack of endurance, and who could blame him? Not everyone has to deal with constant headaches every time they hard core used their power. "Sorry if I'm being annoying Miss Akane but dad always told me: If there's anything worth doing its worth doing right."

Alice Nova

As the break came to an end, so did Alice's lone-time. Hearing the bell which signaled the students to return to their classrooms made her get up practically immediately which was followed by her crushing the now empty box of orange-mango juice and neatly disposing of it in the trashcan next to the bench she was sitting on just a moment ago. While having conversations with people was nice and she had enjoyed meeting both Acion and Donny a little more closely than simply superficially, Alice still needed to be alone for a more or less equivalent amount of time just to refuel some of that social energy. There was enough left in the tank to get through the rest of the day.

And exactly that is what Alice did, sitting through the remainder of classes which were still due that day. Since it was the first day, none of them were particularly special, yet Alice still did her best to give a solid first impression to all of her teachers. After all, she was used to being somewhat of an honors student in prior educational institutions, which meant that the opinions of her teachers mattered quite a lot to her.
At the end of the day, the owl was satisfied with her experience and behavior on the first day. Contrary to what she was used to, she was even able to socialize with some of her fellow hero-course students. Having enjoyed her first day at this new school, Alice could sleep particularly well that night- Or rather the small portion of the night where the nocturnal hero-student was actually able to get some sleep in- and was looking forward to the next day.

On the next day, most classes would resume as normal with nothing noteworthy to mention. Alice paid attention during the classes, took notes, and participated in the lessons. Pretty typical nerd-stuff, so it is not exactly worth mentioning here.
The interesting part came once it was finally time for the most extraordinary of classes: The hero class, duh.

And just on the second day, another quite taxing exercise was proposed, or rather, announced by their lovely teacher, the ex-villain.
A fight between heroes and villains with both sides being played by the future-heroes. Quite an interesting idea and Alice was glad to be on the hero team, rather than the villain team. While she was able to see the benefit of gaining insight into the villain's perspective, being a hero just seemed a lot more appealing. After all, they were in the hero class for a reason!
Sadly, the teach did not provide any additional information about what the actual task would be or how one could successfully "win" this exercise. This was particularly annoying for Alice since she couldn't really think of any strategy while getting changed into her gym clothes for the upcoming task. Therefore, with no clear strategy in mind, Alice had to approach the situation fairly unprepared. She hoped that talking to her heroic teammates could maybe give rise to some strategies on how to take down those villains.

When the owlish girl finally arrived at the site she took a good moment to take in the view. The buildings themselves spoke a story of a training ground which was once used often and successfully to train heroes. Nowadays, however, it was quite in ruins. The once so proud buildings partially collapsed, partially still functional from an outside perspective. It was an almost apocalyptic feeling, looking at the abandoned arena. An aesthetic which Alice found pleasing to some extent, although her mind had no time to dwell on that thought. Instead she was busy scanning the surrounding area for her co-heroes, her companions and teammates for the imposing exercise.
Having spotted Donny and Junko, Alice approached them confidently and began speaking with her usual quiet but polite voice.

"Hello- I believe that we are teammates for the exercise."
Honestly, the two hero-team members so far (besides Alice) were also the weirdest one out of the entire class, based on a first judgement after the quirk presentation. Was... Alice considered to be weird too? While she meant no offense to her peers, she hoped she was not classified as an outcast by her teacher. However, besides that, Alice could certainly see why Donny and Junko were placed on the hero side. Having Junko act like a hero might be pretty difficult given her apparent quirk- And while Alice was glad to have Donny on her team, considering his strength, she wasn't quite sure how to apply him yet. Regardless, she already kind of saw her as the strategist of the team anyways so she was trying to think of strategies, even if that might have been a bit arrogant.

The opponents were nothing to take easy, though. Just Dulga and Acion already were quite the force to be reckoned with. Dulga was a monster in and on her own, but Acion would likely be Alice's key opponent anyways. She wondered if the main battle of hers would be a battle for air superiority with Acion.
Oh well, for now she could do naught but wait and see while conversing with her teammates.

After lunch, Carol approached the cirriculum with a renewed vigor. School work was her strong point, and as typical for the girl who picked the seat in front, she commonly held up her hand to answer questions. At this point she had two, maybe more new friends and just having the discussion of future plans was enough to give her some much needed comfort. She wasn't kicked out of the program for her mediocre and inefficient quirk. If anything it seemed like everyone was kind of in the same frame of mind. Too focused on the future to really pay her any mind. Maybe they weren't as judgey as she thought. She was actually excited for the year. With school work mixed in with heroing, she felt like she just might make it. She couldn't wait for things to start proper.

The next days classes culminated into their first proper hero class. Ms. Mako proposed they split up into teams, and Carol ended up on the villain list. This made her jaw drop. And the reason for it was. "Lack of confidencsh?" She couldn't help saying outloud, but not asking it. This kind of broke her resolve. So it wasn't because they saw her as useless, it was because of her performance that she had stage anxiety. She held her head a little bit as she slumped into her chair, her antlers showing purple and blue in slow dull lights. They didn't realize yet that it wasn't anything to do with actual confidence, she really was screwed from birth with a bum, non heroic quirk. What was she going to do when they realize it?

Kouji asked a bunch of rather inane questions and this caused Carol to snap back to the thought of being a villain. It felt... well actually kind of sickening to her. She had a stance on not being a bully, and she doubted she could even think that way. Perspective. The only perspective she could learn is more reason to hate them.

She got back into her gym clothes, scarf, stocking, mittens and all and walked out to the field everyone mentioned, her demeanor one of disgust and anxiety as purple and green lights flashed in a discordant pattern around her as occasionally flashes of anger made her nose and cheeks flush red.

It was Yukari, Dulga, and Acion who were there as part of her team that made her reconsider things. Dulga was probably undefeatable considering her focus and quirk. She wouldn't be surprised if Dulga has some real experience under her belt. Yukari had very strange powers, and it seemed to be incredibly useful and versatile. Plus she was a friend which helped. Then there was Acion, a flyer and very confident... and his face just made her feel a bit better. So that had power, speed, and surprise on their side. Kouji was a villain too, but Carol thought he was just a loud mouth.

She took a deep breath and made a fist, her antlers shining a bright yellow in a flash. She had to contribute something to this team, even if it was just some kind of battle strategy. Dulga was off testing the wreckage and Carol decided to use that. She approached her team, speaking loud enough for atleast Acion to hear. "Looksh like plenty of placshs for an ambush for thoshe goody two shoe herosh right?" She tried (poorly) to get into the spirit of things.

"If we're like a... legion of doom or shumthing, maybe we should shtart strategizhsing and come up with an evil plot." She put her mittens together with a big grin. "Maybe thish will be fun."

Donny was fiddling with his hands, or at least a few of them which he created. Standing around like this made him anxious. He would normally play on his phone to calm his nerves but he knew that he would get into trouble if Mako saw him on his phone right now so all he could do was wait. More students joined after they finished changing but Donny was just a bit too busy going over all the possibilities of what they're about to do. Off the top of his head the first scenario that came to mind was heroes chasing the villain: The villains had to try and keep away from the hero team for as long as Mako said so. In this scenario Donny might do okay, since this was something he was familiar with. It was basically just tag but with more at stake. Alternatively, the hero team might have to escort something important from Point A to Point B, while the villains need to try and take it from the heroes. That was also possible and something Donny was much less confident about.

Most of all Donny was nervous about fighting. Sure, he's wrestled and play fight before as kids, but he's never really gotten into an actual brawl. Even the rowdier kids at his old school were kept under strict watch and most didn't bother Donny, since he was always quick to slip away. Though it's also not as if Donny has never considered fighting or using his abilities offensively. Due to lacking any form of human anatomy, a lot of Donny's fighting techniques come from one source in which he's had many years of practice: Video Games and Anime. He intentionally seeks out such mediums that had slime based characters and try and learn from them, though obviously not all slimes are built the same. Still it would give Donny some idea of what to do if it comes down to a fight... Despite his complete lack of experience in it.

When Junko started speaking to him Donny jiggled in surprise. He wasn't paying attention to her at all and didn't expect anyone to approach him. "Uwa!? Uh y-y-yeah! So weird, right?" Donny stammered out. He didn't want to say that. He was part of the hero class because he wants to be a hero, so calling it weird that he was part of the hero team just made it sound like he was second guessing himself. Soon Alice came over and Donny felt a bit calmer. She was a nice person so Donny didn't feel quite as strange around Alice and he knew she was quite capable in her own way. "Hello Nova-San. Let's uh, let's do our best yeah?"

If anything, Donny was more worried about their opponents. Off the bat he looked over at Acion and Dulga. Alice was the only one in the group that could really deal with Acion in the air. Kouji wasn't someone Donny could just write off either; even if he can't use his wind powers very much they're still pretty useful and there's no telling just what Kouji's limits is. At best, Donny would have to weather his attacks until he exhausts himself but Donny wasn't positive if that's something he could or should do. There was also Carol who... Donny frankly didn't find all that threatening, but then again maybe he also just didn't know what she was fully capable of. Sure her little light show yesterday wasn't exactly anything bombastic but maybe she was just holding back, or the circumstances just weren't good to show off her full powers. Donny himself would've preferred if they had done their demonstrations say, here, where he could show off his real talents.

Which actually reminded Donny that he should let his team know what he's good at. While he doesn't know what Mako has planned for them, surely someone in their team can think of something on the fly. "S-So I didn't really uh... Show this yesterday very well but since we're here and all um..." Donny spoke quietly, trying to make sure only Alice and Junko could hear. "I'm not all that good in a fight. But I'm good at eating stuff. Like real fast. Even dirt and rocks. So maybe like... W-We could tunnel or something? I mean, they might expect Nova-san to come flying in, but I doubt they'll think we'll pop out from the ground, yeah?" He looked to the two girls to see how they would feel about this tactic. Donny didn't think about it until right this moment, but they might not be quite as comfortable being in a cramp, dark hole in the ground as Donny is.

Acion Nakamiji

Being one of the early bird to the scene, as he stood by and waited for his teammates to arrive. During the meantime, he took the time to stretch his limbs and warm himself up, including all six of his wings. It did look sort of unique to see Acion bend his wings one by one as a warm-up exercise, but it was his anatomy, what could he do?

As his classmates trickled in after finishing their changing, Acion began to seriously consider the team roster. On the one hand, he had to deal with Alice, who would probably be his primary opponent, considering Donny probably didn't have much power to deter Acion's aerial attacks. Nadeko could probably do some crazy metal gymnastics with her magnetic hand, but if he paid close attention it would probably not be a big deal. Alice's silent flight could be cause of concern, but Acion was confident he could disengage if things go sour. On the other hand, he had Dulga on his team, who had one impressive display the day before of strength and precision. It felt a little bit relieving to be on her team for the first combat. It would be scary having to deal with her when he didn't know what her combat style was. Kouji was also there, but he is more talk than walk at this point to have any sort of opinions on his capability.

And there was Carol. She arrived just in time when he was thinking about her.

"Oh hey." He turned around as soon as he heard her. "Yeah...I guess so. Well, I can't do ambushes of course, because...just look at me."

Though the easier it is to ambush the enemy team, the easier it is they can do the same towards his team. But information is key to any successful ambush. Being a flyer in a team fight, Acion felt like it's a good thing to provide for the rest of the team. He might not be able to perform the ambush, but helping creating a perfect ambush could be something he could definitely do.

"I'm not sure what we're supposed to do in this exercise anyway, so I can't think of a concrete 'evil' plan, let's say." Acion laughed at that part. Hey, they were acting like the villain after all. "I guess what we can discuss for now is how do you usually fight? Or what do you think what is effective? For me personally, I'm like that...you know that creature in that blocky building game. I think it's called Phantom. But yeah, I just swoop down on people from heights then go back up."

Depending on what they're allowed to bring in for this exercise, this could be devastating.

"How about you...uhh...Tennebalm-san, if you don't mind me calling you that? What are you good at?"

Yukari Yozakura

A new day, a new Yukari! This time Yukari doesn’t intend to embarrass herself, even making sure to carefully walk around the school and remember the layout, down to where poles and pillars are. Her first few classes were boring but fortunately Yukari received a digital recorder so she can have the teacher’s lectures on hand for study, since she can’t read or take notes. The hardest classes for Yukari was math since she had no references for how certain symbols looked or function but she was doing her best!

As the day went by it was time for the final class, Hero Studies. Yukari has been saving all of her energy for this class to hearing that today would be a practical lesson made Yukari really excited. ”Yay! I won’t disappoint you! But Mako-Sensei, what exactly will the villain team be doing?” After Yukari gets her answer she changes out to her gym clothes once more and meets up with the others at the Cityscape training grounds. She remembered passing it once but hasn’t explored it yet.

Once Yukari met up with her team she started stretching. It was always important to limber up. And while everyone else might’ve been thinking about how to work together, Yukari planned to go solo for a bit. It’s not that she doesn’t think the others will slow her down, but Yukari felt the need to prove herself without relying on the others to back her up. Her pride might end up being her downfall but she’s rather try and fail on her own than fail others who were relying on her. ”Yosh! Show time!”

An internal squeak and a gasp along with a flash of red to very bright yellow from her antlers. 'He talked back to me! Okay Carol be cool be cool.'

She smiled big and broad, her red eyes behind her glasses wide and her heart pounding. "I don't know. There'sh alwaysh like-" She used her hands to emphasize her thoughts, swinging her arms to show the trajectory. "Have your back to the shun, and then like shwoosh down! Acsh dog fighter pilotsh used to do that." Showing once again how animated and open she was.

His laughed helped her continue. She capitalized on the ice being essentially broken. "My vote is the mosht inshidioush of crimesh. Jay walking. Or, ripping off the tapsh from those mattressh'sh." She hoped it would get a bit of a chuckle atleast.

The questions came back to her, well more of strategy which is what she recommended. There was a moment of indecisiveness as her head switched gears. Her talking about a game helped her come up with some ideas. "Yesh, minecraft. My brother playsh it. I mean, itsh effective. Even better if you can grab and drop." but she was aware of the physics involved, and he might not be able to fly with a thrashing villain.

She blushed a little when he said her family name. Her heart skipped a little beat. She put her hands together to keep herself together. "I'm a well- I took gymnasticsh ash a kid, and I'm a blue belt in Aikido, a Yellow in Judo." She is not strong, so she has to use leverage and be slippery to get the upper hand. "Ashide from that. I umm, I'm good with electronicsh, makesh shensh from the quirk. Oh oh! I can make my charge a bit shtronger but I need to build more charge, sho it'sh kind of high rishk high reward. Honeshtly, I think I'm one of thoshe heroesh who has to play... well, dirty." She began to look a little nervous, pushing her fingers together and averting her gaze. She wondered if she should elaborate. "I once got into a fight, and I ushed mud to blind her and then shocked her facsh... I even used my antlersh when she charged me." It was a very ugly fight.

Donny didn’t seem to notice her but that was fine by Junko. Frankly, she wasn’t sure what she was supposed to give back to the conversation anyway but being friendly was never hard to help, or so they say. She simply gave Donny a friendly shrug before Alice became the topic of conversation by arriving to their group. Huh. She wondered when the other heroes were showing up because the villain team was starting to file in one by one…surely it wasn’t just the three of them right? No, that couldn’t be right, she knew Ms. Mako said other names…

In any case, she gave Alice a jittery wave and a smile. “Hi, hi…Alice, right? Eheh, I don’t think we’ve actually met before. Er, I’m not too good on strategy and I’m also not sure what our goals are for the hero team exactly. So, uh, I’ll just leave the big thinking to you, yeah. Just use me however you see fit, eheh.” All she wanted to do was scare people but that wasn’t very heroic to admit. Ms. Mako’s little meeting with her was still fresh in her mind so it was better to at least try and act the part, especially when neither of them knew if they were being graded for this.

It didn’t occur to her that her other teammates didn’t even know how her Quirk worked until Donny explained his to the group. Alice’s was self-explanatory, but Donny’s was interesting to note, and Junko hoped Alice could find some use out of his. Clearing her throat, she too huddled closer so the other team couldn’t hear. “Um, well, I turn fear into power. Er, that is to say, I get physical enhancements from the fear around me. Like, if someone gets scared, I can punch a wall and move around fast and…stuff. Hope that helps."

Well, day one was a disaster. Not in the usual ways. For Emiho, her first day in her hero studies was bad because she woke up that morning feeling ill. The whole day Emiho was forced by her mother to stay in bed and rest. She tried to sleep but her mind kept thinking about how the others in the Hero Course were likely already getting to know each other. Sure, she could talk to them all tomorrow but having to reintroduce themselves just for her sake would probably be annoying.

Her room had been dark the whole day as she let the stored negative emotions leak out. This as well as feeling much better the next morning left her being very positive and shining. She was very happy to catch up with the others in getting to know her new peers. She had assumed that the hero course would have the first class of the day but going to normal classes kind of felt weird with how excited she was. Sure, she wanted to get to know her other classmates but she was here for the hero course. Because she hadn't been there the day before some of the teachers had her briefly introduce herself. It was a strange feeling as the heightened nerves from day one were gone from most of the students so they weren't affecting Emiho that much. It may have been an odd mix of the confident introductions and how she had a faint glow about her but by the time lunch rolled around she had made a lot of new friends among her classmates. Unfortunately, though, none of them were from the hero course.

During lunch, she asked those at her table what they knew about the hero course students. The first thing mentioned was rumors about the teacher. Eventually, she got the conversation to turn back to the students and the first they mentioned was Acion Nakamiji. The family name sounded familiar but she couldn't quite place it. She couldn't seem to get much information about him though as the girls around her just kept talking about how handsome he was while the boys grumbled to themselves. They started talking about a boy who from what they could tell was a black blob. None of them had gone out of there way to figure out more about him. She then felt a rush of anger as well as embarrassment as some of the boys mentioned how a girl in the hero course had scared one of the others at the table when showing off their powers yesterday. The boy was quick to try and save face claiming that it must have been apart of her quirk despite not having any proof. Before the conversation could continue the bell rang signaling the end of lunch.

The rest of her classes leading up to the hero class were essentially the same as the others. The whole time Emiho was watching the clock. She felt like she couldn't wait to see what the hero classes would be like. As she walked into the room she took in the characters that she saw. For the most part, they all stood out. Being the second day of classes she had no idea what to expect. She knew a few things that might happen from stories that her father told but Mako-Sensei wasn't your normal hero course teacher. At the announcement of a team fight varying different emotions sprouted around the room. Emiho herself felt kind of torn. She had been placed on the villain team. But why? Did Mako-Sensei know something that she didn't? Sure, she didn't have confidence in the control of her quirk but that was part of why she was here. Emiho had confidence that she would become a hero. She also knew she wouldn't have much of a problem empathizing with others even if they are villains with the nature of her quirk. She was confused but maybe the reasons would come to light during the activity.

By the time she made it to the training grounds, she saw that quite a lot of her classmates had already arrived. She wasn't exactly sure who was who but she noticed the girl who asked what the villain team would be doing standing off to the side in a group with a few others. Emiho assumed that maybe that meant they were her team so she approached them, "Hi. Sorry if I'm late for the team meeting. You are the others on the villain team, right? I'm Katō Emiho, but you can all just call me Emi. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Hmmm, if it wold get you in trouble during recess, probably shouldn't do it," Mako answered Kouji, "so no hurting other people, or trying to hurt them, or putting them in danger. I'm not trying to teach you to actually be villains, after all, and you still need to follow the school rules."

Once everyone had arrived at the ground, Mako went to the groups one at a time and led them away in secret to their starting points. Once they were there, a voice started to speak from a series of speakers dotted around the site;

"Alright, here are the rules. Dotted around the big buildings in the center of the area are ten gold briefcases resting on pedestals. The task of the villains is to find them and bring them all back to the Villain's starting area. The goal of the heroes is to make sure as many, of not all of them, are still on their pedestals when the time's up. As I said before, I will be monitoring the exercise and the Heroes will be scored not just on what they do but how they do it. Acting heroic is key. While the Villains have more freedom, actually hurting your opponents or putting them in serious danger is a violation of school rules and will be harshly punished after the exercise is over.

So we appear to be waiting for two more Heroes, buuuuut real crimes won't wait for you and neither will I. Begin!"

Nadeko had arrived late, as she had to change into her gym attire, and being tired from a long day of school was making her more sluggish than usual, and she missed most of what little strategy talk there had been. Still, she managed to arrive right before Mako-sensei's explanation and the exercise's start, which was a relief, as 4 vs 6 would be an uphill battle, but 3 vs 6 would have been a nightmare.

"Sorry I'm late!" she profusely apologised to her team, as she carried on her flustered flurry of questions. "My arms got stuck in my gym uniform. Anyway, if we're sharing quirks, my arms are magnets. I can push and pull metal. Pretty simple. Is there a plan yet? What did I miss?"

Donny followed the rest of his hero team to their designated starting point. He jiggled nervously wondering what exactly their tasks were before Mako’s voice broke over the speakers and gave them their details. Basically, the hero team needed to protect ten gold briefcases until time was up. The villains needed to take the brief cases and bring it back to their side. ”So it’s like Capture-the-flag…” Though there were some obvious difficulties for the heroes. Firstly, only four of the six hero students arrived, and he was pretty sure the villain team had a full roster. Secondly there are ten briefcases likely scattered about the area. So even if they had a full team, there was no way the hero team could protect each briefcase.

Still Donny had a few ideas. He looked to the others when Nadeko arrived. ”Hiya Maeda-San. Didn’t miss m-m-much. Just started.” His voice was stilted and Donny was still uncertain if his plan was really a good one, mostly because he was going to do it himself. But it’s important to communicate so he turned to the others. ”I got two plans. F-F-First, we find the briefcases and take them ourselves. They just n-n-need to be on the pedestal when time is up right? So we can keep them safe until then. Second plan… Um well… I-I-I eat the villain starting area. The bad guys have to re-re-return it to their base yeah? So no base means they don’t w-w-win even if we lose some briefcases. Just gotta make sure n-n-no one is there when I eat the p-p-place.” These sounded like good ideas to Donny, but he wasn’t sure how the others felt about it. But he figures since none of these plans involve hurting the other students directly, even the villains, it should be fine. Real heroes break in and destroy villain lairs all the time, even if they’re in public areas since bad guys like to hide among civilians. Taking the briefcases themselves might be more questionable, but Donny just chalked it up to turning a tower defense job into an escort mission. It happens.

Regardless Donny how low to the ground, launching a few bone-tipped tendrils out into the ground in front of him. He needed to move fast and he knew when he ran he looked kind of creepy, but as Mako said, crime waits for no one. ”We-we-we should get moving! We can talk and walk!” And so Donny took off to find a briefcase. Hopefully the others would follow and communicate as they moved, less the villain team get the head start on them. He pulled his body forward, and before his mass would reach the tip of his tendrils he would shoot out more to stick or dig into nearby surfaces, allowing him to continue pulling himself forward at some frankly alarming speed, like some eldritch Spider Man.

Dulga Tarata

After Dulga confirmed that the building materials around here were indeed made of real stuff, she swiped a few chunks of cement underneath her cloak and walked with the others to their side of the training grounds. She’d also finesse some large shards of glass off broken windows, carefully tearing off pieces of her cloak to create a makeshift sheath for them. ”Mako may have said not to hurt each other but if they cry over a scratch, that’s not my problem.”

Their jobs were simple: get golden briefcases from buildings in the training ground and bring it back to the base. The heroes have to stop them. The first thing Dulga thought to do was eliminate the hero team. If they can’t stop the villains then the villains win by default. But that’s easier said than done. ”Shooting Nova out of the sky won’t be an issue as long as she doesn’t notice me before I notice her. Yang is strange though, not sure how effective hurting him will be. Lots of metal around too so Maeda is at an advantage. If Kurowai gets a power up she might be able to match my strength, which is really the only advantage I have over anyone here.”

She thought about maybe working with the rest of her team but Dulga was also indifferent to the idea. She doesn’t know them well enough to trust any of their ideas, and she knows they don’t won’t want to listen to her if she just starts bossing them around. But it was tests like these that put people in their places and Dulga doesn’t plan to be near the bottom. ”Divide and conquer. What matters are the cases. Don’t bother fighting.” Dulga said outloud mostly for herself, but now her allies would know her strategy at least.

Dulga didn’t waste any time to stay and chat. Once Mako gave them to signal to begin the first thing Dulga did was run to one of the ruined cars and rip off its door. Holding it with her regular arms she crouched low to the ground in a sprinter’s starting stance, her lower arms firmly planted on the ground. Then with as much strength as she could muster Dulga launches herself forward into the air towards the nearest building, throwing herself a fair distance through the air. She even left a notable crater where she had jumped from the sheer force. Dulga was aiming towards the window using the car door as both a battering ram and a shield from the glass. ”I’ll search this building first. If it’s not here I’ll just have to keep jumping until I find the right one.”

Acion Nakamiji

"Charging in from the sun, that's..." Actually he hadn't thought about that kind of tactics before. Probably because he had been trained more for those standardized testings that are available at UA rather than actual practical situations, so that might actually work...probably...

"I like it. I'm gonna give it a go, if I can." He gave Carol the thumbs-up. Depending on the starting position, he might be able to try it. "And...is that a real crime?" Acion scratched his head over Carol's 'ripping the tags from the mattress' thingy. Now that he thought about it, the tag was always on the mattress whenever he saw one. Damn, now it's gonna stick around in his head. He needed to know the truth.

Then comes the topic of combat effectiveness that Acion brought up. Carol seemed to be pretty reserved when she went on about fighting dirty. To be fair, it was something usually frowned upon by some people. His family frowned upon it. Hell, Acion, to some degree, frowned on playing dirty. It was...unhero like, let's put it. But that was before that one camping trip he had. It really hit him that once he was on the ground being punched, all pretenses of playing fair went out the windows.

"I usually try not to play dirty, but I did have to break it once. It was a life or dea-" He realized mid-sentence that may be awkward for him to talk about. "Nevermind what I said. But if playing dirty is inevitable...I don't see what's wrong with it."

He was about to go into his own combat effectiveness, but another someone showed up before the villain team. He didn't recognize her from yesterday, but he did see a strange name on his team. "Hey. I'm Acion Nakamiji. It's nice to have you joining today. And no, you're not late, we're just hanging around waiting for Mako-sensei to start us. We haven't really grouped up anyway." Acion said as he peered over to Dulga, Yukari and Kouji, who were just doing their own warm-ups.

And just as he said that, Mako began the exercise. The rules for him was just getting the gold briefcases and bringing it back to the starting point. Seems pretty much like 'Capturing the Flag' to him, at least on the villain's side. But he didn't know where the briefcases were to be exact. If they are all inside the buildings, then that's gonna change a lot of what tactic he would use.

They weren't given any time at all for strategy meetings though, and Dulga seemed to prefer having the head start instead. Well, that sucked. Acion generally wanted to be a bit more careful, but since Dulga's gone, he'd probably have to try to work around that, or just let her do her own thing. It's a bit annoying planning around your ally who wasn't there.

"Well, I don't think divide and conquer is necessarily a bad thing. We do have the number advantage for now. But then again, I don't know what your quirk does, Emi-san, since you weren't here yesterday." Acion turned to Emiho. "I feel like we should familiarize our quirks first before doing anything else. For me, it's pretty simple." He creeked his six wings for everybody else to see, most of them already witnessed its grand sizes already. Hopefully after this they could finalize some sort of battleplan, even if it might just be simple guidelines to how to approach this exercise, and quickly.

"I'm perfectly fine operating on my own or with someone else. If anyone feels like they need assistance, I am willing to serve. But for now..." Regardless of plannings, he was going to do this anyway. He wanted information, and if he was optimistic, he could probably snatch a briefcase back to base before the heroes could react in time. "I am going to have a quick glance at the buildings. I'll let you guys know if something's interesting."

After Dulga, Acion now let his wings wide as he made another vertical takeoff like during the demonstration the day before. The lift of all his wings lifted him up high into the sky, before falling down just enough distance to build himself some speed, gliding towards the center buildings. He made a quick dance of weaving around the buildings as he surveyed the buildings from the outside. They were either not directly visible there or the glasses weren't transparent for him to see.

'Seems like I can't just do a hit and run then.'

He'd have to break into them by force.

Alice Nova

After Junko awkwardly but successfully recalled Alice's name, the overly polite owlgirl realized her embarrassing mistake- Not having properly introduced herself to those who did not know her properly yet. How awful! It would certainly require immediate action. Alice turned towards Junko, bowed forward slightly in a polite manner, and introduced herself properly.

"Oh, my apologies. My name is Alice Nova- It is my pleasure to meet you."

Having said that, Alice felt much better already. While some might consider these kinds of things superficial, heck, chances are no one else cared, Alice paid quite close attention to them regardless.

After having done her greeting towards the group, Alice would listen to the further quirk explanation from all parties involved. Even their fourth member, Nadeko, whom Alice greeted properly and accordingly similar to how she had done with Junko of course, had arrived and explained her quirk in uh... not exactly great detail but it was certainly sufficient to describe the quirk's capabilities.
Now, all of the supposed heroes for this exercise had arrived. Well, all was a bit of an overstatement, considering how they really were only four out of the promised six teammates. Whatever had happened to the other two, this exercise just dramatically increased in difficulty.

"It would take too long to explain my quirk in great detail. Essentially, I can fully or partly transform my body into that of an owl. I have enhanced vision, hearing, somewhat enhanced strength, and can fly without making sounds. Naturally, stealth is what I excel at." And with that Alice finished her quirk explanation rather quickly, albeit at the cost of glossing over some intricacies that would have been useful for her team members. Oh well, perhaps there was time for it on the battlefield.

Next, Mako finally announced what type of exercise it would be. Honestly, capture the flag was quite an awful game type for the four of them, considering that it is a number's game and they were a team with a number's disadvantage. To win this exercise meant to show tactical prowess and expertise at a high level, so Alice felt personally challenged to come up with some kind of plan. Even if only to feed her own ego. Surprisingly, as the owlgirl was visibly thinking about the possibilities, having quite the focused expression, Donny came up with a plan which sounded rather reasonable for her. Defending the briefcases made no sense since they could only defend 4 different houses while the opposing team could attack 6. Stealing the briefcases themselves to protect them on their own was... quite smart, considering how Donny could supposedly move through the floor and Alice could move through the air.
Frankly, Donny's stuttering was making communicating quite hard is what Alice thought. However, it made her remember the conversation she had with Donny yesterday...
Shortly after having said thought, the owlgirl would stare at Junko, seemingly being lost in deep thought while doing so. Her stare was quite piercing with those almost glowy, orange owl-eyes staring right into the very core of the awkward girl.

"You stay with Yang-san. Alice said towards Junko, finally breaking the intense stare.
"You feed off of fear. And if I recall correctly, no offense, Yang-san is quite... nervous and scared of these situations. Mayhaps you can feed off of his fear?"
Suddenly, Donny decided to take off. Sure, he was certainly in the right to do so but... running and talking strategy would surely prove difficult. However, even while running Alice would keep on talking about the idea she just got
"Their biggest threat is that brute of a girl Tarata-san, no? You two are the perfect match for her. Yang-san's fear fuels Kurowai's powers, making you hopefully be able to match the brute while Yang-san's body is impervious to physical attacks, making her essentially useless against him-"
After she was done explaining that first point, Alice graciously morphed her arms into her signature huge brown-feathered wings and took off, flying shortly above the ground in order to stay in communication.
"I will protect you from their second biggest threat, the other airborne. I think I can hold him off enough for him to be no problem for you. If he decides to steal a briefcase I will snatch it back- After everything he told me yesterday I should be able to out-maneuver him.

Which only left one last person who, at this point, was hopefully running alongside them. Alice shifted her attention towards Maeda.
"Frankly, I have nothing for you- Try to stop them wherever you can I suppose. You have a rather unique quirk so you probably have ways to utilize it efficiently." It felt a bit bad leaving Maeda with that after having such an interesting plan for Donny and Junko, but such is life.

"If any of you need any help at all just shout. With my hearing, I'll be able to hear it from anywhere and will come for support immediately. I cannot snatch any briefcase myself since I cannot fly silently anymore while carrying it, but I will aid you wherever you need it."

Now, Alice was flying alongside the scarily running Donny and (hopefully) the others as well. They had a plan on how to defeat the number's disadvantage- And while they didn't know that, the opponents also had a wildcard whose quirk was completely unknown to them. The exercise would be an uphill battle for sure... will they be able to score a victory against these sheer odds?

"We really doing the whole introduction thing again my man? Alright I'll play ball...names Kou Majima. A reminder I use wind as a quirk that I can control with my mind. I work really well against ground based quirks, and flight based ones since I can work my quirk well against both by disrupting their natural movements and blah blah blah..." Kou says as he places his hands behind his back. He cracks his back leaning forward and then his leans his head from side to side to crack his neck. "I'll take whatever position you guys want me to but I don't wanna be the one barking out orders that's a pain. I'll follow your lead so if we win you take all the glory, and if we lose you take all the fall. But we're villains right now. That means one thing: We're supposed to be dirty we can do what we want to win this if we play our cards right." Kou says as he looks around at the others around them. "Look I got your backs just gotta tell me what you're expecting before hand. I've got a feeling the other team will underestimate me from my lack luster showcase the other day...I'm gonna make'em regret that...So yeah I've said my piece what about you guys?" Kou states before the guy suddenly lifts up to take a showcase for them. He sighs but nods its a good idea but all the same..."So....you guys sleep well?"

Yukari Yozakura

Yukari turned her body to the girl who just arrived. Her scent and voice wasn't familiar, was she here yesterday? But when she introduced herself Yukari was certain this girl wasn't here yesterday. Still she just smiled and bowed her head. "Hello! I'm Yozakura Yukari. But my friends call me Yuki! It's nice to meet you! Yes this is the villain team, we're just about to begin actually." And sure enough Mako had the two sides separate and go to different places on the training ground. Then Mako explained what they had to do. She wished that it wasn't something that relied on Yukari's vision. She has no idea what a gold briefcase looks or feels like. This was going to complicate her whole "try and impress everyone on her own" plan. But that was fine, as her parents once told her, no plan survives first contact.

And sure enough the first and biggest complication was that Dulga just left the group. Yukari could feel the vibrations from Dulga's movements, and had picked weird sounds previously of Dulga messing with something around the area. Yukari has no idea what Dulga was doing but it was safe to say that Dulga was acting entirely on her own. "I wish I had that sort of confidence..." The rest of the team stayed behind, with Acion explaining his powers to Emi. Yukari also demonstrated by stretching her arms out to grab the roof of a building, pulling herself up and expertly balancing on the ledge on just her toes. "My quirk gives me rubber powers! I can stretch and shape my body so I'm super flexible." Yukari then jumped back down. Despite the height she landed gracefully without any issues.

They needed a plan of action. Yukari was no ringmaster, but she could at least offer some suggestions so they weren't sitting around doing nothing. "I don't know what Tatara-san is going to do, so we'll just have to let her do her own thing. Majima-san why don't you catch up with Nakamiji-san and help him out? Just in case Nova-San bothers him. The rest of us should stay as a team and find those briefcases. I'm sure the other team will also have to spread out since I think they need to be on the defensive. If we run into Tatara-san, maybe we'll help her if she wants us to." Yukari felt the most comfortable with Carol since they had a pretty good first meeting and Emi seems to be a good person too. Not to mention Yukari was going to need a sighted person to help her actually find the gold briefcases. "Does that sound like a good idea?"

Saki

Yukari was quick to get back onto her feet and spoke like nothing happened. They had both seen that she was trying to basketball yet had miserably failed. It was still cute that she was trying to hide her little mess up. Yukari had asked them if they wanted to play with her, Saki wasn't really any good in basketball but she would manage to score just a few goals if she tried.

"Sounds fun, we can try to play a little"

Yukari stretched out her hand like it was nothing. She had seen her before in the quirk demo. Her flexible body seemed rather handy for the tricks she did. Saki wondered if she could use her as a ball as well. Acion threw the ball next, it was rather forceful and he caught it himself again for his accident. Not all that handy with the ball, but quick on the reflexes. Saki asked for the ball as well and got to throw it as well. Saki dribbled the ball as her eyes glowed green. Softly but high she threw the ball and just barely missed by hitting the front of the hoop. Saki softly ran towards the ball and threw it back towards Yukari.

"Guess i'm not too good either hehe~"

They went on to throw the balls a few more times before heading towards their next class.

*day 2*

Most of the students had gathered on the training grounds when Mako split them up and began explaining what they were gonna do in the villains and hero exercise. Two teams, heroes and villains and the hero team had to defend the 10 golden suitcases standing on the pedestals in the central buildings of the training grounds. Seemed straightforward enough.

Saki hurriedly ran over the training grounds, gasping for air as she made her way towards the hero group. The streets seemed rather empty and the hero nor the villain group was either in sight, it couldn’t have been much further but it was still a maze in here.

‘Shoot I’m way too late, Mako-sensei is gonna kill me. Whhyy meee!~’

*10 minutes before the exercise*

After Mako gave her explanation in class everyone headed towards the gym changing rooms and changed into their gym uniforms for the training. While most people were done changing and headed off towards the training grounds Saki was still undressing. It had taken a while but she came to the conclusion that her gym uniform wasn’t in her bag. Hurriedly she called her mother who raced to school with her uniform.

*Now*

With her shirt inside out and both socks at different heights she found Mako who was just done explaining what they were doing. Half crying and panting she stopped in front of Mako with hands on her knees.

‘Sorry Miss-Mako I was late, I forgot my gym clothes at home. C-can I still join~.’

After a short debrief she sprinted off again towards the rest of her group who had been way ahead of her. Hopefully she didn’t hinder them all too much with her absence. The best situation would have been if the combat hadn’t started yet. Full speed she cried out towards her team.

‘Wait for meee pleasee~!’

With Saki her speed she would be in time before any actual action would happen and without the rest having to wait on her.

“Eheh, nice to meet you too, Alice, Nadeko….” For a moment, Junko wondered if they were going to be a group of three for the hero team. She could have sworn Ms. Mako had listed off other names to participate in the exercise, but apparently only one more bothered to show up, Nadeko, the popular redhead with the magnets. Oh well, it just meant their scenario was more realistic. After all, how many countless times had heroes been outnumbered? Or so Junko thought. It wasn’t long before their teacher gave out the rules of the exercise.

Guarding marker points? No doubt it was meant to encourage heroes like themselves to fight defensively; or as the others noted, capture the flag. Once everyone finished explaining their Quirks and the match began, Junko gravitated closer to her teammates, fully intent to let them make a plan. Donny was the first to give his regards, and what he said was…actually not too bad an idea. “I like it, ehe, that is to say, the second plan. Nobody would expect us to hit their base of operations, but maybe we should split up, two and two for someone to defend the brief cases? Actually, if we do that, we could maybe just combine the plans, eheh.”

By now she was jogging as Donny leapt into motion in a truly horrendous display. Junko was grinning ear to ear, feeling the initial surprise in the air at the movement and Donny’s grotesque features, the unspoken but subtle reaction already giving her a small bump in adrenaline via her Quirk. Now if only they could draw out some more fear…as it turned out, Alice was already making motions in play as Junko expected. “You’re reading my mind Alice. You sure that’s not your real Quirk?” She gave the owl girl a crooked grin but meant it as encouragement, already keeping up with Donny from the small physical buff.

Despite their numbers, it wasn’t a half-bad attempt given what they were dealt with in luck and people showing up to class. If she was being optimal, Junko might have thought they maybe even had a chance. Well, time would tell, wouldn’t it. “Hehe, no problem fearless leader. This might actually work,” Junko said ominously, the group of four together and ready to commit. Well, perhaps not all of them. Junko looked around when she heard a voice call out to them from a distance, noting another girl sprinting at their group to try and catch up. “Hey, looks like we have more people on our side. Uh….what was her Quirk again?” Hopefully Alice remembered because Junko certainly didn’t.

Nadeko cocked her head at Donny's plan as she followed him. "Hmm, Mako-sensei did she she'll be grading us on acting heroic. We might get points docked for taking the briefcases ourselves or causing any structural damage unnecessarily. I don't think she'd fail us, though, so it would be a safe bet to get a passing grade on this exercise.

Alice gave a complex list of instructions and tactics to each of them, except for Nadeko, which slightly hurt, although instructions weren't necessary for her anyway. She already knew what she could do to help out. The buildings had metal in them. The briefcases were metal. All she had to do was find somebody with a briefcase.

"Leave getting the briefcases back to me, Nova-san. Just let me know if you spot someone carrying one away."

Junko slightly creeped Nadeko out, and she was secretly glad that the gloomy knife girl wasn't talking to her. As they were leaving, she heard Saki's voice, and stopped to wait for her as the others carried on.

"Glad you could make it just in the nick of time!" Nadeko greeted with a wave. "I'm going to head to the center of the arena now. Would you like a lift, or would you rather avoid magnets? I understand if you do."

Dulga Tarata

The first building was a bust. She smashed through as many walls and doors as thee were in the building but she didn't find anything resembling a gold brief case, so she quickly charged out of the building and leapt towards another. "It would be too easy if it was in the first building I went into." Dulga ended up in a smaller two-story building that looked like it was some sort of garage. Much to her surprise she actually found a gold briefcase on the second floor. Looking around quickly Dulga grabbed the case and headed outside. She looked around and noticed Acion flying away from the base, as well as the building that Dulga had went through. Taking a few seconds to think about what she should do next Dulga grabbed the gold brief case with both hands and threw it through the air with a very heavy curve, causing it to spin with fearsome speed and precision in the direction of her base. With any luck it would land nearby, if not in the base itself.

"As long as we have it I doubt it matters too much if the briefcase gets damaged. And if it does matter that just means the heroes can't take it back either. This briefcase was close to our side but I'm sure there's more near the enemy too. Further I get harder it'll be for me to throw it back to base." Dulga took a breath and climbed onto the roof, trying to think of a plan. "They have to play defensive. Find their brief cases and have their people patrol to intercept the villain team. I need to be stealthy." Tightening her cloak Dulga started moving deeper into the city ruins, but slower and more quietly now. She did her best to avoid being out in the open by going through buildings and alleyways. Any locked door would get unlocked with a snap of the handle. And most importantly Dulga kept an eye out for those golden briefcases.
