🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - Upper Deck -> the Galley
Skills: N/A

"Dear gods, what's got his knickers all bunched up?" Leda commented with a bit of a whistle. Demetri had gone from zero to one hundred incredibly quickly. She knew that Kiera hadn't done anything to him since they had been on watch duty together. It was possible he was just another stupid teenage guy with no handle on his emotions, but she suspected that maybe Mary had turned into a gorilla or something and whacked him upside the head. "Did you do something to him? I wouldn't blame you if you did, I'd just be a bit cross you didn't let us watch," she told the daughter of Demeter. Mary definitely was in a mood - it reminded Leda a bit of the way Demeter in the stories would act when Persephone was down in the Underworld.

"Pfft, if he wanted advice on girls, I guess there are worse people he could've gone to for help," she said, chuckling a bit. She smirked slightly as Kiera gave her a kiss on the cheek, before taking her new girlfriend's hand and following her down to the galley. Leda piled her plate high with breakfast food, easily taking enough for three high school football players to consume. She figured there would be a lot of times where her speed would come in handy during their stops that day and she didn't want to be running around on an empty stomach. That was one thing that DC comics got right - the speedster metabolism was a beast.

Nancy's foul mood only deepened, seeing the way that Waverley treated the curse so gleefully. She had thought that cursing her to only speak in rhymes would be enough to teach her a lesson, but clearly more was needed. It baffled her to learn that Waverley thought this was a prank war. But her confusion was swept aside as Waverley went nuclear, accusing Nancy of having feelings of lust towards her aunt Diana. Diana wasn't known for being merciful towards those who wanted to sleep with her and then for Nancy, the thought of being intimate with anyone made her want to puke. It also made her feel like ants were crawling all over skin - as if she was unclean just from the very idea.

She was surprised to hear Emily defend her first - Nancy had a lot of complicated emotions towards Bacchus. He seemed to be the living embodiment of the Lotus Hotel, of the men that night when they... Nancy forced the thought to end before its conclusion. She didn't want to remember what had happened. "Thanks, Emily," she said earnestly. "I'm glad to know you think I'm cool. You're not bad yourself. Now as for what Waverley said... If you ever say something even remotely like that again, I'll ensure that every time you pick up an instrument to play, it will not be in tune. You'll never perform a successful song again. And if that somehow isn't enough to teach you not to tell lies about me, you're going to wish that Pluto was determining your punishment and not me."

Nancy breathed out through her nose, but she was still enraged. She had no idea how Lupa had determined this one was ready for the Twelfth Legion. She wasn't going to spend any further time on Waverley right now, but she had to defend her reputation and her honor. She hoped that Madalyne understood. Nancy bit her lip slightly, hearing that her aunt wanted to speak to her alone. The hunters were going to escort them up to see Atlas - a nice favor and it was a good sign that Waverley hadn't completely destroyed relations between the Hunt and the Roman Legion. Nancy nodded at Madalyne, putting her twin blades away. She didn't need them out to speak with her aunt.

"Aunt Diana... If this is about what Waverley said, it's not true at all. I swear on the River Styx. She's never even been to my villa and I wouldn't do anything to dishonor you like that. She's just being totally grody."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus Bus Dream World/Zombie Wasteland-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Ezekiel crossed his arms, watching the new and improved world that they were in and nodded. This could work, he thought to himself. He squinted his eyes at the mention of zombies and nodded. ”I do believe we are in a post-apocalyptic type world now. What fun!” Ezekiel found it all rather amusing, especially when the daughter of Circe started to freak out and go after the zombies that started to come at them.
Ezekiel didn’t seem to care that he was about to be attacked by zombies. The way he saw it was they were in a dream and he wouldn’t actually be hurt in the real world. It turns out Ezekiel wouldn’t be hurt since the girl who was after them in the first place and attacked Ezekiel saved him. He smirked when she said she’d tell them what they wanted to know but Ezekiel wasn’t entirely sure he believed her. She could easily change her mind again once she was awake and try to slice and dice him again. ”Or you could tell us something now, in good faith,” he said and watched the other zombie try to get at him with mild amusement.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Upper Decks > Kitchen
Skills:

Demetri sat facing down at his food, pushing the meat aside from left to right as he dozed off in his space. As far as he was concerned Mary had no right to blow up on him like that. She may act all tough but he was certain if he pulled what she had just done that she would be just as crossed with him as he was with her. After all what was wrong with wanting a little privacy every now and then? He sat there silently wishing he could have had a moment alone with Leda, wondering if the gods were watching this all from above and just laughing at their children. Or perhaps some took pity on the demi-humans and helped them along in unseen ways. It was hard to tell and all of this unknowns just made his head spin. Life had been much easier when he was an atheist and could follow science instead of some invisible power.

When Kiera and Leda made their way into the room, going for a table he wasnt sat at, Demetri scoffed and stabbed his pork taking a bite of the tender food. As he chewed he began to mill over his options and realised that by waiting for an opportunity he would only be leaving himself in the dark. Fine, so he picked up his tray and walked over towards Leda and Kiera, placing it down and taking another bite. He chewed, waited, then swallowed and finally spoke. "Look, im still not used to all of this stuff ok? I just don't need Mary or others ridiculing me as I'm trying to wrap my head around certain aspects of life. Like how I went most of my life believing deities didn't exist and all of a sudden there's two whole pantheons and maybe more. So yes I had a dream last night and I figured our resident god caretaker would shed some light so there." Demetri took another bite of his food, trying not to make eye contact with the others out of embarrassment.

Location: In the Hunters' Camp -> Somewhere Alone in the Forest
Skills:

Waverley's playful smirk melted from her face like a plastic bottle set ablaze, the corners curling down into a frown. Her eyebrows knit together as Emily laid into her, her eyes getting wide and confused. All her past interactions with the girl had been good, so the sudden ferocity dug into her like a knife. She'd triggered Nancy's frustration before (it felt like something everyone did at some point), but never Em. The girl felt like her personal guide and supporter, so her harsh words were hard to deal with. The confusion left her eyes, replaced by a glossy, upset sheen.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to offend...it's easy to forget Nance isn't an old friend," she said, eyes flicking back and forth between Emily and Nancy. It was a mistake she made often; all someone had to do was like her and she'd treat them like they'd been best friends since birth. And some things you can get away with saying about an old friend that you can't say about someone you've known for roughly 10 months. Then Nancy began to threaten her, lacking any sort of jubilance or joy in her eyes. It caused Waverley to shuffle backwards, her feet crunching against the sticks and dried leaves of the forest floor. She could feel her heartbeat accelerating, thundering against her chest. God, she hated percussion. The loud banging inside her chest. She knew it was a precursor to something more, something she hadn't had to deal with for so long.

In that moment, their glares felt infectious. Her focus was on Emily and Nancy's eyes digging into her core, but within seconds, she felt Marco and Madalyne's eyes join in with equal hate. Then it continued to spread, until it felt like the Hunters joined in, gazing at her with disgust. But it didn't stop there. Within seconds, it felt like every being on the world took a moment to stare her way in contempt. And the beating, the beating got louder and louder inside of her. She fucking hated percussion. Her heart felt like it was punching her lungs, because every time it picked up pace, it got harder to breathe. Everyone hated her. 7.8 billion people in the world and not a single one wanted her alive. Only when she felt her back bump against the rough bark of a tree did she realize she never stopped backing up. She felt buried in their stares, like they were suffocating her. Even when their faces were blurred by the tears that began to pool in her eyes, she could feel their eyes burrowing holes in her.

So, after stuttering out something unintelligible, yet still in a rhyme, she turned and ran. She ran deep into the forest, away from the Legion, away from the Hunters, away from the stares, the burning stares. She ran for what felt like an eternity, until the running came together with her panic to render her completely devoid of breath. She slumped to the ground on her hands and knees, desperately grasping for breath, with only her soft, wordless whimpering to keep her company. Her whimpering and that goddamned percussion.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Argo III: Upperdeck
Skills: N/A

Arthur sat himself next to Andy quietly, setting his food down, he knew something was wrong with Dem too. In a way, it felt good to not be alone in his suffering. Not that he wanted other people to hurt or anything, he wasn't that kind of person, but it's comforting to know he wasn't crazy for being as scared and upset as he was. This was all a lot, and he just needed to not be alone right now. This all was starting to confirm it. The older demigods were able to take it on with such ease, it made it feel like there was something they were fundamentally missing as new campers.

As Demetri spoke, Arthur nodded. He took a slow sip from his orange juice, before saying, "I'm not gonna make fun of you Dem, and I'm not gonna be okay with anybody who does." He was struggling just the same as Arthur was, and it made him feel closer. "I'm scared of all this. I don't know what's happening, and I understand how you're feeling." He didn't know what else to say, but he wanted Dem to know he wasn't alone. He looked over at Andy, hoping she would say something similar.

Andy frowned. She understood that it was new to Arthur and Demi, technically it was new for her too. She just had had a head start by all the stuff she had dealt with living on the streets for the last couple of years. She reached over and put her hand on Demi's arm. "Hey, want me to talk to Mary to get her to back off?" Andy liked Mary they had gotten along well during the capture the flag game.

"I understand where you guys are coming from. I spent the last two years of my life fighting to keep it. I was scared and running all the time. There always seemed to be something horrible trying to kill me. For me, this," She lifted her hand and waved it sort of indicating everything around them. "Answered so many questions that I didn't even know I really had. I wanted to know why all these monsters wanted to kill me, but I didn't know anything. Having these answers has made me feel like I wasn't a freak. Like I belonged somewhere. And that's with you guys." She told her best friend and brother honestly.

Location: Base of Mount Othrys
Skills: Oathbinding

Emily was confused for a moment as Nancy said she was glad Emily thought she was cool then she realized it was a flaw in drifting language. She resisted laughing only because she was still pissed. But Waverly apologized and took off into the woods. Emily sighed and put her head in hand. That hadn't gone how she expected. Well, it was probably a good thing it didn't. "I'll go after her." Her voice was calm now and she didn't seem like she was going to curse Waverly anymore.

"No offense Emily but you just ripped her a new one. I don't think it should be you that goes after her." In Niah's opinion it might be best if Marco went after Waverly. He was both the most removed from Nancy and he also hadn't just yelled at Waverly. If Niah went after Waverly it might be seen by Waverly that she was there as Nancy's spokesperson even if she wasn't. "Marco, I think it would be best if you went after her." She didn't explain why, but she figured he could guess her thought process. He was smart enough for that.

Emily frowned, "Because I just yelled at her I should go after her. I should apologize." Emily said and walked into the woods after Waverly. It took a minute and a trackback when Emily realized she had definitely lost the trail that Waverly had left behind. But she came upon the younger girl. "Waverly I am sorry for yelling. I won't explain my reasons, but what you said was wrong. Even if Nancy were a friend. Thank you for apologizing to her. We should talk for a moment before going back."

Niah felt her skin tingle. Her mind focused and automatically she said, "And so the Oath is made and bound." Her eyes went wide and she looked around. She hadn't heard anyone make an oath. She didn't even know what Oath she had just bound. It made her skin crawl a bit.

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: Argo III - The Galley
Skills: N/A

"Me? You automatically assume I did something? Seriously Leda, I just walked up not long after he entered the room. So it's not my fault he's in a bad mood, that was also the very first thing that I had said to him so I can definitely say that I didn't do anything," she said towards Leda with a shrug, she had no idea what was up with, not one, and with the fact that they were all stuck on the boat together, people getting pissed off and annoyed at each other for long periods of time were definitely bad. Maybe she should turn into a cow and crush him again to get her point across...

Jason wasn't too sure what else to really say to anyone else, but he nodded his head slightly in response to Lauryn's comment about how weird dreams or whatever are fairly common. No matter what happened, he doubted he'd ever get used to any of the weird craziness that was this whole demigod thing and weird dreams appearing out of nowhere that apparently were sent by the gods or whatever and were very important despite all bits of logic in his brain telling him hell no this wasn't actually real.

Mary followed after the other two down towards the Galley, and she was perfectly fine with the idea of ignoring Demetri's entire existence at this point, since he seemed to want to bite everyone's head off. She wasn't terribly hungry so she just sat down at a place setting that was somewhat far away from Demetri, since she didn't very much want to be anywhere near the guy if he was going to blow up on her again. Since knowing her, her own temper might flare up again slightly, and she didn't want that to happen.

Glancing up, he saw the others starting to come in after Demetri, and he did wonder if something strange had happened between the others and him, since he did notice that Mary at least seemed to have headed for a spot that was as far away from Demetri as she could get. This sort of thing was beyond strange, but he thought nothing of it and gave Kiera a slight wave when she sat down, "'ey dere Kiera, 'ow were dings ahn de upper deck?" he asked her, figuring based on the fact that they didn't all get woken up that things had been quiet, but he figured he might as well ask.

Janelle Gauger

Location: Dream World Zombie Wasteland -> The Bus
Skills: Hypnokinesis

"'oehh... Zahmbies truly are strange dings aren't dey?" she commented a bit wistfully as she just stood there and watched the chaos that unfolded regarding the walking dead coming after them. Of course the strange girl was freaking out for no real reason, at least no reason that she could think of really. Well, it was her nightmare after all, and Janelle had no idea what to really say in response to all of the nonsense. She couldn't really think of what all they were going on about, and what was so scary about a few shambling rotting corpses. Oh well, she wasn't one to really judge.

"Alright one waking here we go," she said, taking one last glance around their surroundings currently. Until she fell asleep later, she was going to be back to her typical world of darkness where she couldn't see anything surrounding her. Oh well, it was something too be excited for when she went to sleep again. Trying to use her powers, it took a few tries for her to get it right, but on her fourth attempt, she managed to get it so that they all would wake up again on the bus. She let out a bit of a yawn when she woke up, and waited for the others to get up too.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Argo III, Lower Decks Galley
Skills: N/A

"I'm going to go up and do final preperations for landing and stuff, we should be landing once you all finished up eating." Alannah said as she started to head up towards the wheelhouse, leaving the others to talk amongst themselves. Kiera smiled looking over at Leda as she went to sit down next to her, seeing the huge amount of food that she had on her plate wondering how she was still keeping her figure slim. Her attention turned towards Demetri as he went over and sat down across from her and her new girlfriend. "Well you arent the only one whos new to all of this either, a week ago I was just at a boarding school. I didnt even think or know that greek gods and monsters actually even existed in the first place." Kiera said as she looked over towards Arthur for a moment, he was actually the only other person who had been picked up by Leda and the others. Both Ash and Mona were now dead which was still hard to process.

Kiera turned her attention towards Jason and gave him a friendly smile, the night before was actually really easy they didnt have any kind of monster encounters at all aside from the little dragon attack. "Guard duty wasnt all that bad last night to be honest, it was actually pretty peaceful." Kiera said looking at Leda and gave her a smile, and spending time with Leda during the evening wasnt bad at all either to. "How was your evening?" Kiera asked Jason.

Lauryn leaned back as she started to pour herself a cup of coffee and went over to sit down next to Marry to offer it to her as she leaned back looking at everyone else for a moment. She didnt want to make fun of Demetri or any of the newer demigods that were in the ship, and it was all still understandable as well to. "Anyone of us could answer your questions just ask anytime Demetri." Lauryn said.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Base of Mount Othrys
Skills: N/A

Diana led Nancy into her tent and offered her a place to sit down and turned to look at her and stared her down for a couple of odd seconds that would feel like they would have gone for hours. "I believe you." Diana said as she walked over towards what looked like a small chest of sorts and sat it down in front of Nancy. "I have listened to all of your prayers, and wanted to offer you to join the Hunt." She told her, whenever Nancy opened the chest inside was a unique looking bow. "It belonged to Kallisto, and i'd like you to have it you dont have to take the offer right now if you dont want to as well." Diana said, inside the box was a card that Nancy could use if she didnt decide to take up the offer right away.

Madalyne remained just outside of the camp, eyeing Prometheus there who was quiet still she turned towards Niah when she used her ability to tell that some kind of oath was being made. She watched Diana entering the tent for a moment just as Waverly decided to get up and run away from the group and into the woods. Madalyne closed her eyes slightly as she shook her head slightly as Emily ran out after her as well looking over at Niah.

"Want to see why Prometheus is here?" Madalyne said while she waited for the others, before making her way back into camp. "So why are you here anyway?" Madalyne asked looking at Prometheus who was under guard by the other Huntresses of the Hunt, he turned to look at them all. "I was on my way to warn you all that your camp is going to be attacked soon, but they stopped me right here." He said gesturing to the huntresses. Over in the woods where Emily and Waverly were, they would feel the ground shaking slightly when suddenly a large Pit Scorpion came out of nowhere and grabbed both Waverly and Emily with one of it's massive pincers and started to drag the two of them further into the woods.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Bus Ride -> Bourbon Street, New Orleans Louisiana
Skills: N/A

Kristin opened her eyes for a moment and stretched out as she looked around they were now on the bus again, she looked at a sign seeing that they were about half way through the bus ride now to their destination. "I didnt think that we were out that long." Kristin said as she let out a slight yawn as she looked at the girl who finally stirred awake and glared at Zeke for a moment. With what he said before Janelle woke them all up, before smirking and getting a bit of an idea.

"I can do you better and get you a bit closer." The girl said, as she waved her hands slightly, and the four of them would be out of the bus and then they were in the middle of Bourbon Street. Kristin looked around as some people stared at them, and a few cars were beeping at the three of them to get off the street. "Laters and have fun!" The girl waved before she disappeared Kristin was about to try and grab the girl before she disappeared but couldn't. "Well it looks like we are in New Orleans now." Kristin said without getting much of an answer from the girl sadly.

Marco simply watched as first Waverly ran from them, and then Em went to chase after her to talk to Waverly. "Okay then... I guess I'll um... help out here... with Prometheus... if that's alright?" He was fully aware that if he misstepped right now he would have no less than twenty arrows buried into him, after being turned into a deer or stag. However, there was something he could do, that would help all of them in the long run.

"Prometheus, do you swear your words are true and that you came to warn the Roman Camp of the impending attack?" Marco once again let the magic fill his voice and the air, the sweet tone reassuring the Titan that he was a friend, that they could talk. Prometheus soon confirmed that he was speaking the truth, and then Marco knew that the Titan had been correct. "It seems that he is on our side today, Huntresses, and that he has no ill intentions. Madalyne, with your permission, I can use my compact and have a message sent back to camp to warn them of the attack if you so wish?" Marco was going to do his damnest to show not only respect to the Huntresses and his Praetors at that point. He wouldn't demand the titan's freedom, and he wouldn't over step the boundaries of what he could and could not do.

However, there was an uneasiness settling at the back of his brain. If Prometheus was right, which he was, which Titans and Giants would be heading to the very camp he called home?

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Bus Bus Dream World/Zombie Wasteland ---> Bourbon Street -- New Orleans, Louisiana

Ezekiel watched Janelle with a bit of a sad expression as she looked around the dreamworld one last time. Ezekiel resisted the urge he had to reach out and touch her in an effort to try and comfort her. Ezekiel knew Janelle didn’t believe her life to be lesser or diminished because she was blind and now that she knew she was a demi-god, she had more advantages. Ezekiel found himself wondering what Janelle pictured him to look like but he didn’t feel like he would ask anytime soon.
A moment later he was woken up by Janelle and stretched himself out just as the other girl woke up. She smirked at Ezekiel and he raised an eyebrow. Before he could say anything, they were in New Orleans. Sure, it wasn’t information but it was a hand up.
”Thank you kind stranger!” he yelled after her before she disappeared and a car horn blared. Ezekiel smiled at the car and looked around Bourbon Street with a grin. The atmosphere here was incredible! There were many colours and the smell of amazing food. ”Let’s get off the street,” he said. ”Here Janelle, you can take my elbow,” he said and took her wrist and set it on his elbow. Of course, she could pull her hand away if she wanted to navigate on her own.
On the sidewalk now, Ezekiel looked around, trying to see if anything looked familiar like a symbol of gods or the Underworld perhaps. Ezekiel didn’t see anything but he got the strong urge to head West.
”I think we need to head West,” he said and looked at Kristin.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - the Galley
Skills: N/A

"I'm not a god caretaker," Leda said with a mouthful of food. She swallowed, before continuing. "A better term would probably be, I dunno, priestess or something. Yeah, I dig that. Call me the Priestess if you need to give a label to what I do," she said. She took another large bite of food, mulling over her recollections from her own dreams the previous night. Dreams honestly were the number one currency when it came to information for the questing demigod. Without them, they'd never show up in the right spot prepared. She winked at her girlfriend after catching her smile. She then put both of her arms up and stretched.

"Okay, crash course in dreams. They're basically godly abilities. They'll show you things as they're happening in real time usually, though I s'pose it's also possible to see things that happened in the past. Not sure the future is possible. But at any rate, your dreams are most likely real, unless you see marshmallows eating Manhattan or something. Some people spill the tea completely on quests, others keep the dreams close to the chest. Key things to look out for are titles and symbolism - like, a lot of times different gods and goddesses will have specific nicknames people like to call them. Or you might see a symbol that matches up. Oh, also look for landmarks - lot of times in our dreams we can find things and then use the information when we're waking, kinda like using MapQuest."

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Diana's Tent - Base of Mount Othrys
Skills: N/A

Nancy's entire body was vibrating with nerves as her aunt offered her a spot to sit and then stared her down. She didn't move a muscle at first, only relaxing once Diana confirmed that she believed her. She slowly took a seat, wondering if that was all or if the Goddess of the Hunt had more to talk to her about. The chest placed down in front of her only furthered her confusion. From what myths she recalled, goddesses and special boxes were never really a good sign. But as much as she was worried and tense, she also couldn't help but be in awe. Diana was the original tomboy, the first badass. She didn't need a man to tell her what to do and she was the best hunter in the world. There was a reason that Nancy prayed to her.

"... Me? You want me to join the Hunt?" Nancy repeated, looking stunned. It was as if Stevie Nicks had just asked Nancy to go on tour with her - like if Joan Jett had invited her to join the Runaways. Nothing could ever be as rad as that moment. She so wanted to say yes, to pledge herself to the Hunt and travel the world hunting down cool monsters while learning from the very best. Yet she couldn't do that. She still had a duty to Rome and her friends. She couldn't leave them behind, especially not now, with the horrific prophecies she and Alexandra had produced.

"I... That would be so incredibly rad. The idea of being in the Hunt, it gives me goosebumps, it feels right - it's so incredibly very, I just can't explain it," Nancy admitted, rambling slightly. Her cool persona was slipping away. "I can't now though, Aunt Diana. Rome needs me. But if I survive everything that's coming and fulfill my duty, then, yes." Her hands were shaking slightly as she opened the chest, seeing the amazing bow and the card. She pocketed the card, realizing it was a means to contact Diana. "Is now a good time to admit I've never used a bow before? And does it have a name?" She knew that it must have had a not-so-bright history. Kallisto had been Diana's best friend, up until Jupiter raped her, Kallisto hid the pregnancy, and Diana turned Kallisto into a bear and threatened to hunt her down. Nancy really hoped it wasn't cursed.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Upper Decks > Kitchen
Skills:

Demetri wasn't exactly sure what he had expected. What ever it was it wasn't this. Arthur had spoken up about how he wouldn't allow others to make fun of him and his lack of knowledge about their situation. This simple act seemed to cascade into everyone offering some form of support towards him, something he wasn't exactly used to. He gave Arthur a nuggie, having ruffled his hand before pulling both him and Andy close into an embrace. "Oh you two are the best, honestly." He let go of the pair, grabbing his fork as he began fiddling with his food again. "Its alright though Andy. If anything I'll have to have a little chin wag with her and apologize for my earlier outburst." Demetri took a bite of his food, savoring the meal as he thought about his dream some more.

He listened to Leda's explanation of dreams, how they were conduits for messages about current events or potential clues for what's to come. It was more omniscient than precognition which was not at all what he expected. If that was true then a horde was already working their way up towards the surface. "Who gives us these dreams? Does each of our parents present us with them or just a singular god? And...what do you know about a shrine of Apollo in Tarturus?...priestess Leda." He gave her a cheeky wink before taking another bite of his food, listening to wht anyone might have to say on the matter.

It's not a pleasant experience, being in desperate need of breath and not being able to obtain it, no matter how much you scramble and grasp for it. Waverley had done it before, and her review of it remained the same as it always had: big, whopping zero star rating. Though in the past, she'd never had to worry about it making her a sitting duck. So when the soft sounds of crunching twigs wrung out beside her, she flung her head up, turning to face the noise. But her body relaxed a little when she saw it was only Emily. The false alarm actually seemed to help, for as Emily began to speak, Waverley managed to get her lungs to start taking deep breaths. When the other girl went silent, Waverley nodded, holding a shaky finger up as she struggled to regain enough air to speak. Eventually, the tremor softened, and she raised her head, her watery eyes looking up at Emily as she shifted positions, her knees tucking under her chin.

"S-sorry for running away...I just needed to get away from all the eyes...A-and it's okay, you don't have to apologize. I didn't mean to hurt anyone, especially not a friend, but I guess that's what happened in the end..." Waverley sighed, lowering her eyes back to the ground for a moment. Her breathing had reached a relatively normal pace, so, after rubbing the tears out of her eyes, she crawled up to her feet, croaking out a half laugh, the kind people make when they're starting to move past sorrow. "Sorry for the dramatics. Anxiety attacks fucking suck. But the worst is over, much to our - FUCK!" Waverley was cut off as she felt her body be swept up in an enormous and rough claw. A new panic arose as she stared at the massive creature who'd just snatched up her and her friend and began pulling them deeper into the forest.

She belted out two loud screeches separated by a whimper. The screams rhymed, funny enough, and if she weren't in the claw of a massive scorpion, she'd have wondered how exactly that worked. Instead, though, she put her hands on the cold, hard pincers of the creature, trying to pull herself out, but it was no use. The monster's grip on her was too strong. Then, as she looked down at the guitar pushed tight against her front, she got an idea. She never really used her guitar's magical abilities, since guitar was the only instrument she knew how to play. But it seemed that its enchantment could have more...combative uses. She grabbed onto the neck of the instrument, commanding it to shift. In a sparkling dark purple flash, almost reminiscent of the starry sky on a clear night, the instrument changed shape. It grew, and grew, and grew, taking the form of a full-sized piano that Waverley was sure would disable its claw. Unfortunately, it did not. It continued to race through the woods, unimpeded by the weight of the piano.

Alright, too small. So she tried again. This time, she closed her eyes, bringing to mind the immense instruments she used to see at church, much greater in size than its current form. It began to change again, growing even more. As it changed its form, it shoved Waverley out of the creatures claw, causing her to hit the ground with a hard tumble. When she raised her head, she found that her plan hadn't just worked: her guitar, now a massive organ, crushed the creatures claw under its weight. She only allowed herself a heartbeat's worth of time to feel victorious, as Em remained in the creature's claw. Waverley reached out her hand, and she begun to belt a melody, one that she didn't recognize. Likely something she heard on the radio once or at a coffee shop open mic night and had long forgotten. She wasn't sure what she was trying to do, or how she would do it. All she wanted to do was save Em. And the universe listened. As Waverley sang, dirt rose up from underneath Emily's feet, forming around her shoes. It grabbed hold of her and pull, resulting in a tug-o-war of sorts between the strange animated dirt and the scorpion. Eventually, the dirt one out, pulling Emily away from the claw. As soon as the girl was free of the monster's grasp, Waverley stopped singing, and the dirt crumbled back to the ground.

Arthur Stanford

Location:Argo III: Upperdeck
Skills: N/A

Arthur nodded at Kiera, "I know, I didn't mean to cut you out Ki." He said. He wasn't used to being this outwardly empathetic, but things were changing, and he had to in kind. Kindness was something everybody needed right now, and he didn't want to be the person to withhold that. He needed that returned to him, and the best way to get it, would be to give it. That seemed to be accurate as well, as the table turned to an outpouring of support for Dem. It was so hopeful to see, that even though things were terrible right now, everyone was trying to be there for one another.

As he was pulled in and nuggied, Arthur made a strange yelp, before laughing. He was glad to see that he helped him. It looked like he was feeling significantly better than before, and that made Arthur happy. It felt good to know that he was having a positive impact among all the shit that was going on. Listening to Leda continue to speak, he was a bit surprised at the power for demigods to prophesize, but his well for surprise was also pretty much bottomed out. All he could really muster in response was, "That's um... neat." with a bit of a deadpan.

Jason Gauger and Marygold Isley

Location: Argo III - The Galley

"I wouldn't call you a priestess Leda," Mary said towards her with a bit of a grin, "I think the name Princess Rainbow Unicorn is waaaaaaaay more fitting for you, but that's just how I see it. Doubt the term priestess will catch on too much." She loved teasing Leda regarding that nickname, since to her it was an incredibly amusing nickname. Plus trying to get the term priestess to catch on with regards to her was not going to be an easy feat to accomplish, so there was that bit of teasing too. She shook her head slightly at Lauryn, not really wanting to drink any coffee at the moment.

"Dat's got to be nice. and it was fairly borin fahr me, nahthin too much goin ahn anywhere ahn de shep so yay fahr dat," he responded to Kiera as he glanced to hear the entire conversation regarding dreams, since to him this was definitely not something that he knew, and he figured it likely would be helpful to know. Jason was still learning a lot about how everything worked with demigods and monsters, so he was figuring that it was probably a good idea to listen.

Mary made a move as if to answer Demetri's question herself, actually opening her mouth to answer it, before she shut it again and shook her head. Yeah, she actually knew the answers to his questions, at least partially anyway. The god Morpheus controlled dreams, so most likely the dreams that demigods have were connected to him in someway, as for the other thing, recently there had been a few earthquakes in Greece, one in March around the Eprius region and another just a month ago off the coast of Crete. She wasn't going to tell him that though, since based on his earlier outburst he only wanted Leda answering his questions and would get annoyed if anyone else did.

This whole conversation was interesting to him, but that was just how he viewed this entire situation. After all, he was kind of getting bombarded with a whole bunch of information that was new to him all at once, his brain was working to keep everything straight, and was only partially being successful with that. Nothing was really staying straight in his brain, but right now at this point he wasn't going to ask questions until he was given more information that he could question. Since right now he couldn't even think of any questions to ask.

She didn't think too much of what all was going on around her, since everything was a bit strange and hectic in a few short minutes. One minute they were on the bus, and the next they were who knew where on the streets somewhere. If it wasn't for Kristin's comment about where they were, she probably would have been a lot more confused. It was a bit much to have such a quick change in scenery so to speak for her. Since the sounds and smells all changed and since that was primarily how she "saw" the world, it was a bit disorienting for her.

"Gettin ahff o' de street sounds like a good idea to me," she commented, and she accepted Zeke's arm and let him lead her off of the street and onto the sidewalk nearby. She wasn't too sure where to go at this point or where they needed to head in order to move onwards with their quest. Luckily for her, Zeke seemed to have the feeling to head west, and she nodded her head. "Dat sounds like a good idea to me, let's go west den," Janelle commented, figuring that it was as good of an idea as any.

Andy looked up from the hug that her brother had pulled her into and smiled at him. "Of course that's what sisters are for." Andy had a lot of preconceived ideas of what siblings should be like. She also had a skewed foster family view of what some siblings were like. She thought of the fights she had been in and was glad that she wasn't fighting her brother, instead, she was fighting beside him against monsters.

Andy didn't know how she felt about her dreams being prophetic. Especially after the particularly intense one she had had the night before. It seemed the dreams became more frequent when big stuff was about to go down. She was glad to see her brother's spirits lift up a bit. And Mary wasn't mean to him now that she had joined them in the Galley. She didn't know what had happened between them on the upper deck, but she still planned to later make sure Mary didn't keep being mean to her brother. She frowned. She liked Mary and didn't want to make Mary mad at herself, but maybe the two of them needed an intervention or something. Not that Andy actually knew the definition of intervention just that it was when a group of your friends talked to you about something.

"Where do monsters go when we kill them?" She suddenly asked anyone in the Galley who would answer.

Location: Base of Mount Othrys

Emily screamed. She wasn't surprised by the fact that the pit scorpion came back and grabbed them, she just hated that she had let it do that. She had known it was in the woods. Dammit, Waverly. At least Waves apologized and even freed her from the pit scorpion's grasp. Emily did not want to think about where it had been dragging the two of them off to.

Niah nodded as Mads asked if she wanted to go with her to figure out why Prometheus was out and about. It didn't seem like she needed to bind him to an oath though. She was curious about something. "Where were you coming from? How did you get the information that Camp was going to be attacked?"

"Well that was unpleasant. Thank you, Waverly." Emily said and turned to the pit scorpion she was glad she had put her seeds in a more accessible pocket and even happier that Marco hadn't been the one out here. Milo might have gotten hurt if it had been him. Also, would charm speak even work on a pit scorpion? Em shook her head and focused on the task at hand.

Niah could believe that Marco had teased the truth and the whole truth from Prometheus, but she knew how many people swore they'd do something or they meant something and it would turn to lies in their heart. Niah didn't trust people, she really didn't trust the gods. Too often they would swear on the River Styx, her mother, which should be unbreakable, but they would break those Oaths anyway. It made her skin crawl. With all of that in mind, she let her attention focus on Prometheus. It took some focusing but she could feel an old broken oath there. It had to do with him deceiving Zeus when he took the fire to humans. If that was his only broken oath that made him wildly more trustworthy than others.

First, she tossed some of her seeds. Her Chlorokinsis worked best with vined plants, especially ones that the fruit could be used to make alcohol with. So, her seeds were for such plants. Several vines grew out from the ground and she mentally controlled them to wrap around the pit scorpion. Em had no idea what the weak points of it were, but she could at least get it pinned to the ground, and her and Waverly could poke it to death. She went in and stabbed it as she did Emily realized that the tail of the scorpion was not bound, a terrible oversight on her part. She quickly controlled some of the vines to pin its tail down. She took a deep breath. "Stab it Waverly or some other damage-causing thing. I don't know if you can sing it to death or not."

Kiera gave Leda another smile when she winked at her and leaned forward slightly as she listened to Leda as she started to talk about the dreams that they usually got. She had never gotten to many weird dreams until fairly recently and coming here so she was curious where they did actually come from. "I was wondering that to actually." Kiera said looking at her girlfriend, Lauryn gave a slight shrug as she took the cup of coffee and started to chug it all down. She turned to face Andy asking where monsters would go when they were killed and smiled slightly. "They would end up going to Tartarus, which is basically the monster's version of the underworld." Lauryn answered as she thought about answering the questions Demetri asked Leda but decided against it as well.

"It's okay Arthur." Kiera said looking at Arthur and smiled towards him as Demetri gave him a nuggie she reached over to take another sip from her drink and leaned back. Everyone would feel the Argo III shook slightly as Lauryn looked over towards the stairs and stood up slightly looking at the others. "I guess we are there now, i'll see you guys up there." Lauryn said as she started to head up towards the top deck, Kiera decided to wait a bit longer while looking over at Leda and smirked slightly. "Princess Rainbow Unicorn suits you more than priestess by the way."

Madalyne Crane

Location: Base of Mount Othrys

Prometheus turned to look at the three demigods who were questioning him, as he looked at some of the huntresses that were looming around the area still as well. Some were patrolling still while others had their bows all trained down on him, turning towards Niah as she addressed him. "I was in Tartarus for awhile and started to notice some activity more than usual and went to investigate, they are searching for something down there and they mentioned of the attack and I wanted to make sure that Atlas was still where he should be." Prometheus answered them calmly as Madalyne looked towards Marco for a moment, the news of an attack that was coming sooner than expected needed to be addressed soon. "Go ahead and contact Alexandra and let her know whats going on and relay the information to the senate to." Madalyne said, since both of the Praetors were out the next person in charge was the Augur.

Diana looked at Nancy and smiled towards her and nodded. "I understand, you are needed where you are at right now. But the offer will always remain if you so choose to join the Hunt." Diana said as she looked down at Kallisto's bow for a moment, remembering her best friend for a moment before focusing on Nancy. "As far as I know there isnt a name for it, and maybe my brother would be willing to teach you." Diana said jokingly before standing up. "You should probably go meet the rest of your companions now." Diana said. The Pit Scorpion started to screech in pain as Emily stabbed it, it's tail trying and failing to hit either Waverly or Emily, as it swung it's tail the nearby tree started to fall down to the ground. A tree branch nearly landing on both Emily and Waverly in the process, they either needed to take it out right away or they needed to return to Diana's camp.

"Sounds good to me Captain Obvious." Kristin said rolling her eyes slightly, Houston was west of New Orleans anyway, they just needed to find some kind of way to get the rest of the way there. Then she stopped for a moment as the weather started to go bad and it started to rain really hard. Kristin was getting a little bit wet as she managed to lead both Zeke and Janelle towards a store front with an awning over the sidewalk. "So we just need to find a way to get the rest of the way there." Kristin said as she tried to get her hair to dry off as best as she could while looking at everyone else.

"You did really good by the way Janelle." Kristin said to her as she looked up at the store and gently led the group inside, she didnt really want to stay out in the rain for to long. "We should probably do a quick little supply check right now to." Kristin suggested as Janelle started to get the feeling that something was in the room stalking them.

Marco nodded when Madalyne said that he should go ahead and contact Alexandra. "Understood, I will contact her now. Please do excuse me." He offered a small smile as he stepped off to the side and pulled out the little compact that he had come to rely on as his supernatural cell phone. His fingers traced lightly over the gilded gold top as he gently pressed the clasp to open it. He could still remember the quest that he had gone on where he had found this little bauble, which had been shortly after he and Emily had started first dating.

He ran his fingers over the beautifully polished glass, and slightly tapped it softly. "I wish to speak to Alexandra, Augur of New Rome... Alexandra, Augur of New Rome." He waited for Alexandra's face to appear in the mirror before speaking to her. "Alexandra... I have news for you. The Titans are mounting an attack on New Rome and it will be happening sooner than we can make it back from our quest." He decided not to include the bit about Prometheus or the Huntresses for now, just in case. For the moment, he would give her the information that was the most pertinent.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Argo III - the Galley
Skills: Greek Mythology

Leda nodded as she heard Demetri's questions, smearing some marmalade on a piece of toast as she munched on it thoughtfully. While she felt obligated to help the new demigod out, her primary duty was to her stomach. She didn't even notice the cheeky wink he gave her, which likely was for the best. Sons of Zeus, winking at girls? That was a story she did not want to live out. She also wasn't too bothered by Arthur's lack of interest and attention. He was probably majorly depressed and traumatized at this point, so the fact that he was putting sentences together was impressive to her.

"You joke, Isley, but it'd be a real pity if your Iris Messages never went through," Leda teased. She didn't mind the title Princess Rainbow Unicorn. She finished her piece of toast, a bit tempted to burp but she refrained, trying to be a bit lady like. "Maybe Morpheus? He's the god of dreams and all," she answered with a shrug. "I don't know anything about a shrine to Phoebus in the Pit. Fun fact, that's where monsters go when you kill 'em. They reform in the Pit and when they're ready, they pop on out, like Lauryn said."

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Base of Mount Othrys

"Pfft, for Apollo to teach me how to shoot, he'd have to remember I exist," Nancy said. She blushed a bit red a second later, hoping that she hadn't offended Diana or anything with that. She had issues when it came to her father and she knew the way he apologized was through gifts. He hadn't noticed when she was trapped in the Den of the Lotus Eaters for decades. She doubted that he would even notice if she died on this quest. Oh, wait, I had a kid named Nancy? She died? I missed the funeral? Whoops, my bad. "Thank you, Lady Diana, again," Nancy said, slinging the bow over her shoulder. She did an awkward little head bow, before leaving the tent to rejoin the others.

Outside, she noticed that people seemed to be crowded around Prometheus. She couldn't help but be wary of the titan. Only Niah, Mads, and Marco were there - she wondered briefly if Emily had gone off to kill Waverley somewhere. She walked up to the trio. "What did I miss? Anything very?" she inquired. Marco was off to the side staring at some sort of makeup compact from what she could tell. She hoped it was a magic item, and not that he was concerned about having an acne breakout or something.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Ship: Kitchen
Skills:

Demitri continued to eat his food, his mood quickly becoming better with every bite. Perhaps he was hungry? Or maybe he'd shifted himself out of alignement. He still hadn't realised that this mornings dream had forced him out of his usual self. His bright blue eyes now shining through as opposed to the dark brown he usually wore. Demi never gave much thought about his shifting and how might affect him. Animals were one thing, but swapping gender could potentially have lasting effects he never thought of or cared to think of. It could also explain his sudden swings in mood, though puberty did that enough as well. Back home whenever he'd feel a fit of anger coming on he could simply go off into the forest and throw his dagger around. Now he was trapped in a ship and had no where to truly let out any agressions aside from those around him. As Leda finished up what she was saying, Demetri let out a long and deep belch.

"Sorry bout that. Morpheus huh? I suppose I was shoping for a different answer. Or perhaps a more complex one than the potential obvious." He gave a scratch to his head as he thought about all he had learned in this short time. "So...where do we go when we die? Do we have a place like The Pit where we are made whole again and sent back? Can we party on Olympus? Or is it just go to Uncle Hades and drift on in the River?" It probably wasn't the best topic to bring up given recent events. But if someone he truly cared about passed on, like Andy, he would want to know whose ass to kick and where to pluck her soul. After all if Disney's Hercules could do it maybe he could to? He hoped that Hades was compationate enough to his nephew to help him out.
