Dumb Lady with Big Sword [+]

Name: Yumi Shimi

Personality: Soft-spoken and a little dumb, Yumi isn't really the smartest Sunderer but she certainly is one of the most optimistic people within Fidelis. Yumi doesn't talk very well and she is quite a klutz with anything besides her giant sword for some reason. She isn't all that organized with her thoughts and often just says whatever she thinks or just says random things that have nothing to do with the current conversation.

Background: Yumi's father raised her by himself ever since his wife died shortly after she gave birth to Yumi from an unknown illness. Her father Hiyoshi decided to remain single and raise Yumi on his own, During the years prior to the robots attacking he had high hopes for his daughter's future as a career woman bound for success but had his hopes dashed as his daughter was to put it bluntly, dumber than a doorknob. He started showing up home less going out to drink until he forgot where he was.

Subsequently he died trying to engage a robot in a fist fight and so Yumi swore:

"I'm gowna kill all da wobots"

Yumi later participated in the experimentation of cybernetics upon the human brain, where she was fitted with an implant on the back of her skull. The testing proved successful yet not without a cost, because of the type of cybernetic and what it can do it caused slight brain damage in the part of the brain that helps a person reason and make logical decisions. Upon testing she nearly killed an entire research team but was luckily tranquilized before she could hurt them. The implant was improved yet the affect never changed. So now she exists within the Sunderers as a frontliner to fight the robotic threat to Fidelis's safety.

Powers:

• Superhuman Strength: Yumi was born with superhuman strength that allows her to lift anything lighter than a smart car, allowing her to use the oversized sword she carries around with her.
• Berserker Mode: The cybernetic implant in Yumi's head taps into the part of the brain that produces dopamine and adrenaline, and allows her to enter an enraged state that greatly enhances her endurance allowing her to take more damage but at the cost of losing the ability to differentiate between friend or foe.

Equipment: Yumi owns a 5 and a half foot long greatsword that is about 1 inch thick towards the hilt and half an inch thick at the tip of the blade. Has a cybernetic implant that halos her head that taps into her adrenaline allowing her to enter a frenzied state and ignore damage for a short period. Wears black shorts with one legging and a white dress shirt with a small black tie.

You might need more polishing with stuff to do. I understand that you want to do a dumb sword swinging anime girl, but that doesn't mean you don't need much details for the cs. The explanation for the implant could be viable, but it needs a lil bit of more sprinkling of detail.
If Yumi's dumber than a doorknob how did she enter the Sunderers(who, through normal means, requires at least a highschool student's level of intelligence)? Of all people, why was she selected for the surgery?
Why did her father try to fist fight a robot(unless he like downed a whole bar's load of beer)? And for the love of explosions why must she use the uwu speech?

Ahem.

Alright. Here's an example 'hotfix' I could provide you. You can use it, or you can add more flesh on your cs, or find where I live and threaten me with an anime girl body pillow.

Yumi is still a dumb as a doorknob girl. But the loss of her father wasn't a real intense shonen style fistfight against an unbreakable enemy. It was a planned elimination, a covert operation to get themselves some free test subject. Pays less to assassinate some random dude than rightfully pay for a legitimate subject.
When Yumi had nobody to take care for her, a tech team approached her, offering help in exchange of a participation for their little project. They've uncovered some weird chip from a bunch of robots hiding out in an abandoned facility. So far they've only figured that it goes on a human being's brain, and they want to find out what it does.
Turns out, right after the surgery, that the implant was a device that taps onto your hormones and such- numbs the pain, lessens your muscles' restrains, all the good stuff. With a few things off-but that wasn't much of a problem. Yumi also went berserk as soon as she woke up, but hey, nobody of a high position died, so not bad.
Her sword(which was found with the chip, strangely) and a position in the newly recruited Sunderer initiates was the work of the head of the tech team, too.

Personality: Lorna is a very eccentric woman who has difficulties expressing herself with others. This can be a problem of her own making, as she enjoys speaking in riddles. It doesn’t help that she can’t perceive the difference in intelligence between her and others. Given the way she articulates, at times to those who can’t keep up, she’s speaking in jargon. Other times, it is beautifully poetic but the person has no idea of the nuances given. The end result is seemingly random acts, chalked up as eccentricities. If blatantly asked to lower her vocabulary let’s say, she is capable of explaining something in an easier manner but she must be told first. Surprisingly, she can explain high level concepts in very simplistic or creative ways that get the point across. A handy skill for teaching or advising, when she’s conscious of the need to do so. Otherwise she’ll be lost in her own world, with her brain rapidly thinking through a flurry of subjects.

Backstory: Lorna is the heir of the Dairenji Family, a family with incredible training on several fronts. Lorna's parents were both expert fighters and they taught her some of what they know. However, when it came time for to be recruited into the Sunderers, they left her with a semi-automatic pistol with 3 bullets loaded.

Powers:

Electrical Manipulation: She can create and use magnetic fields to manipulate electrical currents, allowing her some control over electrical appliances. She can use this in a multitude of ways even as a electrical waves, beams or streams. She can also use this in a method akin to teleportation. But she calls this electroportation.

Equipment: Katana, Wakizashi. Various throwing knives and daggers and finally, Pharis a legendary recurve bow, pictured below:
