🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Dining Pavilion
Skills: Superspeed

Leda perked up, seeing her girlfriend. Kiera's vibrant red hair always made such a shocking contrast in winter - like fire and ice. She was extra pleased that Kiera was joining her at the Iris Table. They could have gone and sat at the Poseidon Table, but it was terribly lonely, and not nearly as vibrant. If people thought that Leda was a bit extra with her make up, she was relatively tame compared to some of her siblings. As a group, they always looked ready for a Pride parade. Leda's own plate was piled high with just about everything - eggs, bacon, toast, muffins, sausage, etc etc. "Yeah, I slept like a babe, what about you, luv?" Leda asked.

She then moved, a rainbow blur as Leda devoured the food on her plate. There had been enough food for seemingly a small army and a second later, the plate was practically spotless, aside from some crumbs and ketchup smears. Leda licked her fingers clean, somehow having not ruined her makeup with the feast. "Do you think it's too early to go grab seconds?" she then asked Kiera, entirely serious and not joking at all. As a speedster, she tended to burn a lot of calories, and thus ended up eating a lot. It was one of her least favorite things about quests - restaurants didn't have good prices for the appetite of a speedster, meaning that she only really was well fed when at Camp.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Praetor Tent -> Cohort Tent
Skills: N/A

"Aww, she's not too big at all - at least not yet. Can't help but wonder if she's a baby or if she'll just always be this size," Nancy wondered. She had a secret preference that Joanie wouldn't get too much bigger, it was a bit selfish as she was easier to care for like this, and she felt that Joanie would fit in with the Hunt and essentially be able to be a hunting dragon if she wasn't too large. If she got huge, she'd have to find somewhere to set Joanie free, let her spread her wings and whatnot and do whatever dragons do. Nancy sighed ever so slightly just thinking about it - and how she herself wanted to be free. She followed Mads out of the tiny tent and into the large one, where every cohort slept.

Nancy felt conflicted about that set up. It wasn't fair that the cohorts all had to be squeezed into one tent, while the praetors had their own. But at the same time, she couldn't help but wonder if having all of the cohorts together allowed them to bond and take down some of the bits that divided them. And without having the praetors around all the time, the Legion could relax and have fun - no one could have a rad sleepover with their parents around after all. Nancy raised an eyebrow, knowing that Niah had dodged the answer to the question. "Maybe it's time we revisit the options for sleeping arrangements," she suggested softly, so only Mads and Niah could hear. She didn't want to get people's hopes up.

Leandra Lovelace

Location: Just Outside Camp Half-Blood -> Closer to the Barrier
Skills: Planning, Archery (RR: Agility)

"..." Leandra let out a deep breath from her nose Marygold spoke to her, her arrow pulled back and her string next to her face as she waited for the creature to get closer. "A shot fired too early is a missed opportunity, Ms. Isely, from which the road to desolation is paved. First comes patience, then comes..." Leandra's voice was low, quiet as she aimed her arrow. As soon as she got a clear sight of the beast, she let it fly, watching it sail through the air and thunk into its back. "...blood." She prepared another arrow just as Marygold leapt forward, taking on the form of some sort of snow leopard to match their environment. It was a good move; snow leopard didn't just fit the atmosphere aesthetically, but strategically as well. If need be, it'd be plenty easy for her to slink away in the pale snow that matched her silver coat. It was enough that Leandra risked a glance backwards, seeing the girl being carried off by the satyr. She gave a small, approving nod, only to be quickly brought back to the fight by a stinging pain entering her shoulder. She let out a yelp, turning her eyes down to see a large thorn shot deep into her flesh, throwing her into a minor daze as her mind caught up with the battle. Marygold had just been thrown against a tree, and she'd just been shot at with a venomous thorn.

She could work with this.

She flung the bow back onto her shoulder as her fingers darted to the poison splinter in her shoulder, wrapping around it and ripping it out. The abruptness with which she ripped it out caused her to let out a pained grunt, but the pain of pulling it out was overshadowed by the lingering pain of the venom setting in. She flicked a pair of hair ties from around her wrist onto her fingers, using her other hand to pull out a new arrow, holding it closely to the manticore needle. She quickly, and perhaps somewhat sloppily, tied the needle to the arrow, fashioning it into a makeshift poison arrow. She nocked it, decorating the string in the blood that coated her fingers, and she pulled back. Unfortunately, a searing pain in the shoulder isn't great for aim, and as she prepared the shot, the pain shot through her, causing her to loose the arrow before she could aim, making it instead hit a tree a good few yards away from the manticore. She let out a disappointed sigh, beginning to tread backwards as she readied another arrow, eyes fixing on the venomous tail which dangled menacingly in the air. It was what worried her most. She pulled the string back, taking aim, and letting the arrow fly through the air and lend right where the tail turned into the stinger. She did it once more, causing the arrows to form something akin to an X just below the stinger. She wasn't going to be able to get the stinger off completely, but hopefully her attacks would make the appendage sloppier with its blows, the way wounding an arm might throw off the attacks of a person. She continued to slowly pace backwards, getting nearer and nearer to the barrier, but not making a break for it yet.

"Marygold, the girl is past the barrier!" She shouted, slipping the bow back onto her back and instead using her hand to put pressure on her new wound. She wasn't going about to cross the barrier without Marygold. Partly due to loyalty for her Greek acquaintance, but also partly due to pride. She didn't want it to seem as though she was running away and leaving Isley behind. So she set her feet in, preparing to run past the barrier the minute Marygold did.

Location: Just inside Camp Half-Blood
Skills: Plant Manipulation

From seemingly nowhere in the forest first came out this rather pink wearing blonde teenager that Stella just blinked at for a moment while the teenager pulled out her bow and arrow. Just as she was about to say that she could handle herself, that the teenager had no idea what she was capable of, another teenager appeared, and Stella instantly felt like she could trust her. She wasn't sure why, but maybe it was the fact that they had the same reddish hair, and greenish eyes.

"Uh, okay..." She said just before the satyr she was with picked up her hand again and nearly dragged her into the treeline. "Wait I wanna help them! That thing has been chasing us for a while and it's my fault..." Her protests were cut off as they went through a barrier that Stella had not noticed before. There wasn't really anything that looked different, it just felt different on the other side.

She could still see the two teenagers, well one teenager and one snow leopard fighting the creature that had been chasing her. She could see the blonde was injured and she knew that was on her. With a gentle tug, she removed her hand from the Satyr's grasp and she got down on her knees and shoved her hands into the snow. "C'mon... please work!" She focused and as she focused, the grass burst forth from under the snow and thickened into vines that tangled up the manticore and kept it pinned in place, making it a much easier target. "YES!"

Janelle Gauger

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Janelle rolled her eyes slightly with regards to Jason showing up and bugging her for a moment, but she thought nothing of it as soon he was off and walking away from where she was sitting. Her brother was a little bit ridiculous in her mind at times, but she was somewhat glad that he chose not to be sticking around and bugging her all of the time. She could deal with everything on her own without him constantly bugging her. And as they got older, he seemed to be learning that, which was always a nice thing for her, it meant that he wasn't going to bug her as often hopefully.

Her attention turned towards Isaac, the counselor for her cabin decided to talk to her, "I'm doin alright, what abooeht you?" she asked him. Her mind was partially distracted now thought based on the sort of commotion, as she heard Zeke's voice as he entered the dining pavilion, and from the sounds of it, he was covered in snow from the outdoors. Janelle couldn't help but giggle slightly with response to that situation, even though she couldn't see it, it sounded somewhat amusing in her mind.

Jason Gauger

Location: Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

"Goin alright, de snow isn't too bad, especially when you're like me and are used to de cahld. 'ow are ya doin?" he asked her in response, more or less ignoring the sort of glares that Kristin was getting from the others seated at the table. He personally didn't understand what was really up with this supposed rivalry between the Ares and Athena groups, so for the most part he didn't very much care. Kristin was his friend, so he didn't very much care what was really going on with that. That was his thoughts on the entire situation.

His attention turned towards Zeke when he entered the area covered in snow, and Demetri coming up with bad puns of some sort. It was kind of funny to see that Zeke got pelted with so much snow. He wondered if Zeke melting the snow off like that would work for long, since now a part of his brain was trying to bet how long it would be before Zeke ended up covered in snow again. Based on how things seemed to be going for the guy, it probably wouldn't take too much longer for him to end up covered in snow again.

Marygold Isley

Location: Outside the Barrier
Skills: Shapeshifting

Ouch, this was really really starting to hurt a bit. Of course, she was more or less ignoring what Leandra was saying, cool, the kid had gotten through the barrier and away from the Manticore. That was great. Problem was that she was concerned about leaving the Manticore alive around the camp. That was just them asking for trouble later on. Of course, she couldn't really communicate that to anyone else, since currently she was in snow leopard form and couldn't really talk to anyone else. Her body was doing surprisingly well despite her injury and the poison itself that was in her body. It was probably from a rush of adrenaline, meaning she was likely going to crash later, well whatever, she'd take what she could get.

When plants sprung up around the Manticore holding it in place, she almost thought that she had done something, but realized that wasn't possible, and it might have been the young girl who had done it. Thinking nothing more of it, she pounced instantly on the Manticore, taking the opportunity that the girl had given her to kill the monster. After a few slashes it started bleeding out, and after a few more the monster was completely dead. Hitting the ground (landing on her feet of course) Mary headed for the barrier, still not feeling too much the effects of her injuries. Right before she went back through the barrier she shifted back to normal, walking along on her own two feet and she looked at the girl, giving her a smile. "Guessing that was you who tied the Manticore up? Thanks for that, made it easier to deal with... So, what's your name?" she asked Stella, her back was bleeding from where she had gotten hit, but she still didn't seem to be effected by it.

Camp Barrier:

The pain would start to feel worse for Leandra and she would feel like she would start to pass out due to the poison coursing through her body now, and pulling out the spike she would be bleeding quiet a bit as well to. "We need to get you to the Apollo Cabin and get you patched up." One of the legionaires said offering to help out Leandra. A few seconds later Chiron came trotting up to the group, not in his usual wheelchair that he was always in.

"Is everyone alright?" Chiron asked the campers at the barrier nodded towards Chiron as he looking over at Stella seeing a new face coming into camp, and seeing that Mary was hurting quiet a bit as well seeing the blood on her back. "You should get to the Apollo Cabin as well to, and get treated." Chiron suggested to her as he turned his attention back to Stella.

One of the campers from Camp Half-Blood went over to where the manticore was it had burst into some dust leaving behind a manticore tail, and went over to hand it to Mary since she was the one to kill it. "Here you go." The camper said giving Mary a smile, as Chiron spoke up introducing himself to Stella. "I am Chiron, welcome to Camp Half-Blood you are safe here. Follow me, and get a bit warm to." Chiron said motioning for Stella to follow him.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Kiera watched as her girlfriend quickly ate all of her food without any kind of issues which still amazed her quiet a bit. "I slept pretty well." Kiera said as the other kids of the Iris cabin were all talking while they were all eating rather quickly as well to, Kiera smiled and shook her head slightly at Leda. "Not at all, if you are hungry you are hungry." Kiera said as she ate some more of her breakfast and leaned back slightly. "Need any help tending to the shrines today?" Kiera offered her girlfriend, which she would occasionally help out with as well to with her from time to time.

Juan the head counselor for the Hermes Cabin came up to him and laughed slightly having a carrot in his hand and handed it over to Zeke as a bit of a joke. "Just so you know I had nothing to do with that, but it was totally hilarious." Juan said to Zeke giving him a pat on the shoulder before joining back at the table with the other Hermes kids eating their breakfast as well to.

Kiera finished eating the rest of her breakfast only leaving a small portion for her father and headed over towards the nearby brazier and shoved it inside saying a silent prayer to him, she still had no real clue what was going on with the gods right now either. She remembered that Mr. D hadnt been at camp for the last couple of days since the winter solstice visit before joining her girlfriend back at the Iris Table.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood, Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

"I'm doing well thanks." Isaac said to Janelle as he went and continued to eat some more letting out a slight yawn and stretched looking back at her. "So doing anything today?" He asked, unlike most of the other kids at Hypnos' Cabin he wasnt all that tired all the time or lazy either. Spending some of his time helping out at the infirmary in the Apollo Cabin to or training as well to, while most of his cabin mates spent most of their time sleeping.

Kristin didnt really care for the other kids at Ares cabin were glaring at her, and just brushed it off as her attention turned towards Jason. "I'm used to the cold as well to, growing up in South Dakota the weather tended to act really weird to somedays it's nice and warm while other days it could get snowy." Kristin said as she ate her breakfast some more. "Also my family had a cabin out in Alaska to and we would spend some winters there to." Kristin said, sighing slightly remembering the last time she saw her cousin when she was alive and she hadnt gone back there since. "Anyway whats for breakfast?" Kristin asked looking over at Jason.

Lauryn was finishing up eating her breakfast as she turned to look up at Demetri coming up to her table tilting her head slightly as he asked her if he could get some help building something. "Sure, though gotta tend to some maintenance on the Argo III, your welcome to help out to, and I can see about helping you, what did you need help with anyway?"

Madalyne Crane

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Roman Side, Cohort Tent -> Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

"Joanie is still adorable though." Madalyne said to Nancy as she scratched the baby dragon under the chin, it letting out a cute little sound sounding something like a baby dinosaur from Jurassic Park. She turned to look at Niah when she didnt answer her question and frowned slightly. "You can crash in our tent if you want to." Madalyne whispered to Niah she didnt like that her friend who was pretty much a sister to her sleeping uncomfortably in a tent with the others.

She had a bit of an idea for the War Games tonight, anyway and she wanted to run it by Nancy and Niah as well to and it would be interesting as well to. "Lets get to the dining pavilion and get some food and we can plan on it there." She suggested, as Niah's fellow Centurion nodded and headed off to go about his own duties, the other members of the legion were getting ready to head out as well to.

Madalyne headed out shortly afterwards and made her way over to the dining pavilion and seeing some greeks were there as well to and some legionaires were eating some breakfast as well to. She sat down at an empty table after grabbing herself a plate of food as some bacon and hard boiled eggs appeared on her plate along with a glass of milk to.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Dining Pavillion
Skills: Deception

Demi rolled his eyes at Zeke, placing his hands crossed against his chest as he did so before turning his attention back towards Lauran from Hephaestus table. "Sorry about that babboon of a man. Just about makes me mad. Anyways, I don't mind helping you guys out on the Argo III. Hopefully I can be of some use, though I'm not sure with what yet." He considered what he could possibly do, and settled that at best he would make a good forklift by shifting into a large beast and handing over heavy supplies. That is unless someone taught him how to fix something. He shook the thought of of his head and came back to the present. "Right, so the thing I need help with. I'd like to learn, well it's not even me actually I'm just pulling a favor for another camper that wishes to remain anonymous. Honestly it's a chore but hey I've got time for chores, anyways I was hoping you could teach me to build something but I can't say in front of everyone. Figured in the mean time I can pick up how to make myself an eye so I don't have to keep covering it up with bandages, or at the very least maybe make an eyepatch while I'm at it."

Demetri gave Lauran an awkward chuckle, seeing that this was going about as smoothly as crunchy peanut butter. He tried his best to give her a big cheeky smile, dimples as all before finally his shoulders dropped and he gave her a leveled look. "Look I can't say much about it cuz it's supposed to be all hush hush and I don't want to break my word ok? So can you help me? Please? I'll even throw in the added use of me cleaning up around the shop." Demi tried to give Lauran his best puppy dog eyes, but it'd been a while since he attempted them and boy was he rusty. Lauran matched his leveled look from before before speaking. "You know the whole puppy dog eyes crap won't really work on me, i'll help you but just be straight up next time. Just give me like ten minutes to finish eating." Demetri lit up with excitement, wanting to hug her but thinking better of it. "Oh thank you thank you thank you. You got it, I'll go finish up too just let me know when you're ready."

Demetri made his way back towards his table, seeing Andy and Arthur sitting together. "Mind if I join in? Or is this cool kids only?" He ruffled Arthur's hair before sitting back down and grabbing his drink. "Mornin' Arthur, how's the day treating you so far?" He didn't know why but he felt as if he was interrupting something, but honestly that seemed to be his specialty and so he just went with it hoping Andy wouldn't mind. He wanted to give her room to grow and find herself, but not so much room that he was absent.

Arthur Stanford

Arthur stuck his tongue out at Andy when she said she couldn't control the weather. Of course, given the choice of shooting lightning from his fingertips and being able to make the weather more pleasant, he'd probably select the former, especially given that they had to fight to survive. Arthur, as established, wasn't in love with the snow, but he was always down to hang out with Andy, and if she wanted to make a snowman, a snowman would be made. "Yeah, for sure, let's do it!" He said with a smile.

As Demi returned, Arthur smiled as his hair was ruffled. Demi was, in a lot of ways, like an older brother he never had. He liked his friendliness in a way he might not have with a lot of other people; it was comforting and refreshing. In the times since his first mission, he really felt like he had carved out a found family for himself here. Arthur tacked on, "Demi, do you wanna make snowmen with us?" Looking up at him, not wanting to leave him out.

Location: Camp Half-Blood Barrier -> Apollo Cabin

Leandra could feel her legs tremble underneath her weight. She knew what it felt like having something plunged deep into her shoulder, and this was so much worse. Poison, she figured. It wasn't exactly difficult to guess; the creature against which they fought was equipped with a scorpion's stinger. As she held the bow, her vision began to go a spotty, her body swaying to one side. Still, she had to stay up, to stay fighting. She raised up her weapon, fingers at the string and arrow between her fingers, taking aim, when...something green sprung up from the snow, grabbing hold of the monster and tugging it down to the ground. Vines. Leandra blinked, glancing back behind her to see if reinforcements arrived. What she saw surprised to see the young ginger with her hands on the ground, eyes alight with determination. Leandra let out a quiet, pleased huff as her eyes flitted back to see Marygold pounce on the newly bound monster. With that done, Leandra stepped back across the barrier, using her bow to aid in her walking, holding her bleeding wound with her other hand.

"So you already know of your abilities. Very good," Leandra praised the young girl, her body teetering forward a bit. Her voice was low, her normal elegance dampened by the pain of the wound, but the approval was clear in her words. Her eyes flashed back to Marygold crossing the barrier, one of her fellow campers holding the manticore tail out to her. "You did well out there. Were it up to me, you'd be newly equipped with a manticore tail right about now," her voice was quiet and jokingly conspiratorial, a smirk playing at her lips. As Marygold joined them, Leandra straightened up, allowing her fellow Roman to take her by the arm, taking some of the weight off her trembling legs. "Lovely work, mon chat de neiges! And welcome to Camp Half-Blood, young one. I do believe you arrived just in time for breakfast. Now if you lovely ladies will excuse me, I best get to the Apollo cabin before I have to be carried there. It might not be an awful idea for you to accompany me, Isley. We don't want to leave those wounds of yours to fester," Leandra suggested, before beginning to tread carefully in the direction of the Apollo tent, leaning on the Legionnaire for support.

Stella looked at the half-man, half-horse for a moment before grinning widely. "Woah... that's cool! I've never met a horse person before! As for being safe... Thanks, I guess. I mean it's mostly due to Marygold and a bit of the other person that I'm okay." She turned to looked at Marygold and smiled brightly at her. "I'm Stella, pleasure to meet you!" She grinned at that as she had decided that she really liked Marygold. The jury was out on the other girl, Leandra, but the jury came back as Leandra praised her and then said that she should have the tail.

"I didn't kill the monster, so I shouldn't get it. Marygold killed it, so I think she earned it. Duh." Stella was indeed still a blunt twelve year old. She didn't believe she deserved that tail, as all she had done was what she had been doing for a long time. Asking the plants for help, and they helped her. She wasn't sure what the other girl meant about abilities, but she turned back to the man that had introduced himself as Chiron and nodded.

"Alright, lead the way then... but um, can you tell me more about where I am other than just the name? All I know was that I was told I have to come here by the satyr... and that it has something to do with my mom." She sighed a bit as she looked up at Chiron. "I'll see you later!" She waved to Marygold and the other girl, and then turned to follow Chiron.

"You're a cool kid, you can sit with us." Andy smiled at her brother. "You should definitely join us for making a snowman!" Andy said excitedly when Arthur suggested he join them. A part of her wanted to see if her Aunt was free too. She figured Madalyne wouldn't be though. She was busy making sure the Roman camp was taken care of. Though the two had been spending time together with Madalyne teaching her how to do magic.

She had an idea though for when they were building the snowman. She wondered if she could test her magic out on it and get snowballs to fly. Her smile broadened at the idea of it. Practically bouncing out of her chair, and shoving her food into her mouth trying to finish faster so they could go play faster.

"I think Joanie is adorable just the way she is." Niah said. Following the pair of them out of the cohort tent to the dining area they had set up. "I don't know." Niah said frowning. As much as she wanted to be out of the cohort tent there was no way that would be fair.

"I don't think is very fair. Back home I'd be with my cohort. It isn't the tent or the people." She sighed. It was where they were more than the sleeping situation she was in. "I appreciate the thought though." Niah didn't want to cause more tension in the camp. She really did appreciate the thought though. And part of her really wanted to take up the offer. It would be like a sleepover with her best friends. She smiled at the thought. "Maybe one or two nights like a sleepover." She asked. She sat down her plate filling with cheesy eggs and ham. Her glass filling with orange juice.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: Dining Pavilion

"Sure, if you'd like to, that'd be chill," Leda told Kiera with a smile. She tended to just do a little maintenance on a few shrines every day, since then they'd more or less be in good shape all of the time. She knew others would've just done a large overhaul once or twice a year, but she hated the idea of letting everything pile up like that. And with the fighting between the Big Three going on, they needed all the godly good will they could manage. "I'm tending to the Big Three shrines today, so the main trick is making sure that they get exactly equal offerings and all placed, don't wanna mess with the cosmic balance at a time like this."

She didn't know if giving Hades a slightly larger offering than Zeus and Poseidon would cause trouble, but she didn't want to find out. It was already wicked weird that Camp was getting a small bit of the snow falling through, since usually the barrier kept their weather perfect, even if everything else around them was horrid. "Have ya heard anything from your pops lately?" she then decided to ask. She didn't know what she was really looking for, maybe just a bit of hope that things were going to go back to normal soon. Of course, a small part of Leda was itching for a quest. She hated feeling cooped up all the time.

Leda then started piling up more food onto her plate, going for the waffles and fruit this time.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Cohort Tent -> Dining Pavilion

Nancy followed her friends to the dining pavilion. Ironically, this was the place that made her the most homesick for New Rome. She missed the Lares drifting in and out, the camaraderie of eating with your cohort. They now just had a table for the legionnaires, which was fine and she was grateful they had a place at all, but she always felt incredibly out of place in the dining pavilion, as if it was the heart of the Greek-ness of Camp Half-blood. However, there was one thing that she was happy about - Bacchus hadn't been around for a few days now. It had always been nerve-wracking eating in the same space as that god. He hadn't been behind the Lotus Hotel and Casino, yet he was the god that she associated with that trauma.

She nodded at Niah, as Niah voiced her discomfort with the idea. "Maybe Mads and I should move into the cohort tent instead," Nancy suggested. "And just use the praetor tent for actual praetorial business, could be a rad way to help ease some guilt and tensions," she explained. She didn't know how Mads felt about them sleeping somewhere else, but it did make Nancy feel guilty. She picked up a piece of toast and offered it up to Joanie, looking around the room. The Greeks always seemed so happy and carefree. It was hard for her to fathom sometimes.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Juan walked over shortly after Ezekiel sat down and offered him a carrot. Zeke rolled his eyes, setting it on the table then saluted to Juan. ”I’m certain.” He nodded goodbye to Juan and turned to the others at the table. He rubbed his hands together, starting to warm up a little again.
Ezekiel grew up in Maine, where it was winter seven months out of the year. At least it felt that way when it started to get cold. Not to mention living on the coast. The Atlantic Ocean could be rather fierce in the winter. Thank you, Poseidon. Even though Zeke grew up in winterland, he detested the cold.
Zeke watched his plate fill and snatched a couple pieces of bacon before moving to get a little blood flow in his legs. He glanced over to the Praetor table, the one where Nancy sat with her friends. He walked over to the table for a moment and nodded to everyone who sat there.
”Do you want to get a little more practice in later today Nanc? I figure you’ve already been out but thought I’d ask,” Zeke said with a shrug. He ate a piece of bacon while waiting for an answer.

The Big House:

It didnt take to long for Stella and Chiron to get to the Big House, he looked at her and smiled some. "I am what you call a Centaur." He said as he held open a door for Stella to enter first. Inside was a living room of sorts with a large leopard head mounted on the wall which looked like it was still somehow alive and moving.

"Camp Half-Blood is a safe place for kids like you, you can learn how to fight and defend yourself from monsters and go on quests. You are a demigod like everyone else here, part human and part Greek god." Chiron said as he went and moved over to what looked like a wheelchair of sorts and his lower half somehow was able to fit inside the small compact thing a blanket was brought over and covering his legs.

Rosie came down a flight of stairs and turned to see Stella there and waved. "Hi there, i'm Rosie it's nice to meet you." She said as she walked over and extended a hand out for Stella to shake. "Thanks for letting me crash in the house last night by the way." Rosie said to Chiron, and he smiled and nodded towards her. "Rosie here is our oracle. Rosie if you don't mind fetching Kristin for me, so she can show Miss Stella around." He asked her, as Rosie nodded as she grabbed her jacket and started to head outside. "Feel free to ask any questions you may have." Chiron offered Stella as he wheeled himself over and started to make some hot chocolate.

Apollo Cabin:

Inside the Apollo Cabin it was pretty busy as a few greeks and legionaires were being tended to some of the injured, most likely accidents from sparing and rock climbing. Alexandra the Roman's Augur was there tending to some legionaires and turned her attention to Mary and Leandra as they were escorted towards the two open beds. "I got Mary if you wanna do Leandra." Bryan Phelps the head counselor of the Apollo cabin told her, as Alexandra nodded as she went to tend to Leandra.

"So did you two get into a fight with each other or something?" Bryan asked as he went to check out Mary's back seeing that it was bleeding badly. The two of them would be feeling a lot of pain right now due to the poison coursing through them. Alexandra noticed the stinger that Mary had and knew that it was a manticore stinger. "Those aren't fun." She said as she went and started to get a few things from a nearby cabinet.

"I don't have much to do anyway other than tend to the horses, Pegasi you have no idea what they all actually say sometimes about everyone. And also the Roman's huge ass elephant later." Kiera said giving her girlfriend a smile, she'd rather help her girlfriend other than listening to the horses gossiping and talking shit about some of the campers did get annoying to her. Kiera finished eating her breakfast as she looked at Leda and nodded towards her. She didnt want to piss off any of the gods, remembering what happened in the summer on the way to Camp Jupiter when Mona insulted Hecate.

Some coke appeared in her cup as she took a sip of it and shook her head slightly, she hadnt heard anything from her father really other than a brief meeting during the winter solstice meeting. "I haven't seen him since our little fieldtrip to Olympus. What about from your mom anything from her?" Kiera asked since Iris was also one of the messengers of Olympus to and wondered if there was any kind of gossip from her.

Lauryn had finished eating as she stood up and then flicked Demi's ear and looked at both Andy and Arthur giving the two of them a smile. "Gonna need your friend here for a little bit. He wants to make something for a lover." Lauryn said leaning in and whispering the last bit so that only Andy would hear it.

Kristin went back to eating some of her breakfast as she waited for Jason to reply to her and started to take a drink from her cup looking around for a bit. She noticed Rosie coming over towards her as she took another bite out of her breakfast and waved towards her and smiled some. "Hey whats up Rosie?" Kristin asked her, as she wipped her mouth somewhat, as she looked at Jason for a moment before Rosie answered her.

"We got a new arrival and Chiron asked if you could give her the whole orientation." Rosie said as she looked at Jason and smiled at him and nodded. "I don't mind just give me a bit and finish eating and i'll head over there." Kristin said Rosie gave her a nod and headed out of the dining pavilion and most likely towards her cave. "Got to do this orientation want to come with or Janelle?" Kristin offered, it wasnt the first time she was asked to do one and she didnt really mind doing it either.

Joanie quickly breathed fire on the piece of toast that Nancey had given her turning it into a charred piece of bread now and quickly chomped away at it. Madalyne looked at Andy and smiled towards her niece and gave her a wave as she turned to look at Nancy and Niah, she didnt mind giving up the tent and going to the cohort one. "We can turn the tent into my wolf den then during the full moon or something beats having to be chained outside anyway." Madalyne said jokingly though making sure that it was low enough so that they could only hear she wasnt comfortable with having the greeks finding out really either. The last full moon was two days ago which was good she wouldn't have to worry about having to change for another few weeks. "Of course we can have our girls night there to every so often."

Madalyne waved her hand slightly as a sheet of paper and pen appeared with a little mini map of camp on it, with some battle plans for the War Games later that night. "So I was kind of thinking we do a WWII kind of thing, Normandy style, we have a base set up on the beach and if the greeks are willing we borrow the Argo III for the attacking team to use?" She suggested, as Zeke approached the table and gave him a slight nod towards him as Madalyne took another bite out of her breakfast.

"Not really..." she responded to Isaac with regards to what she had planned at all. Usually she just did whatever she felt like, not anything more specific than that. Whatever she wanted to do at any given moment, that's how she usually planned out her days. This usually resulted in her jumping from multiple things at a time to just anything random. It depended on her mood, which usually meant something that she wanted to do whether anyone else thought she could do it or not.

At the moment though, she was incredibly bored, and wanted to go do something. Maybe reading or something like that? At least with the books that she had back at the Hypnos cabin. Since obviously she couldn't read the actual books, only things written in braille. "I'm ahpen to suggestions ahn what sahrt o' stuff to do dough, cause ahtherwise it might just be bahrin wanderin around in de snow ahr sahmethin like dat. I like de snow, but it gets to be a lettle annahyin, and also I'm 'ahpin no one decides to randahmly throw a snowball at me dat I can't see, sence dat 'as 'appened to me befahre," she added to him with a bit of a shrug.

"In all 'ahnesty, all I really care about food wise is dat it's edeble. It's just sahme eggs and toast really, nahthin too fancy," he responded to her question with a bit of a shrug. Yeah he mainly was perfectly fine with the idea of just something super simple nothing too elaborate or anything like that. His attention was pulled away somewhat by Rosie, who seemingly was deciding to come up to talk to Kristin about something. From the sounds of it, sounded like there was a new person at camp.

Kristin turned and asked him if he wanted to go along with her, and maybe his sister tagging along too. "Sure, I'd be fine combing wit. Sounds like a laht o' fun meetin a new persahn, naht sure if Janelle would want to comb but you can ask 'er," he said to Kristin with a bit of a smile. He was fine with going to go meet the new person. A part of him was a bit curious as to who the new camper's godly parent would be, but figured they'd find out soon enough when they met the person.

Marygold Isley

Location: Just inside the Barrier -> The Apollo Cabin
Skills: N/A

Personally, despite how much she was somewhat hurting from the Manticore's attack, she wasn't sure if she actually really wanted to head off to the Apollo cabin with Leandra, especially not with what she said with regards to her getting the Manticore tail. It wasn't like Leandra had done anything. Weren't the Romans supposed to be more of a war like group? And she hadn't been able to hit anything at all, barely anyway. "I'm fine," she said, sounding a bit annoyed with Leandra. It was almost like she was holding back somewhat with her words on wanting to say more, but the only reason she didn't was because Chiron was right there.

Mary did give Stella a bit of a smile, "I'll see you later, okay?" she said to her, before heading off with Leandra to the Apollo cabin. Once they were away somewhat from the others, she shot a bit of a glare, "Did you really have to say something like that? Not like you were any help, you mainly said run for it and were perfectly fine with the idea of leaving that thing wandering around the barrier. Really? I got hurt too, and I acknowledged the fact that Stella over there helped, but whose the one who did the most damage, whose the one who killed the damn thing? I'll give you a hint, it is not you." Mary typically wasn't a nasty person or something, no, it was just the fact that Leandra had triggered her own bit of a flaw, which for her was pride.

She didn't say anything else to her once they reached the Apollo cabin, and she more or less just shrugged, "Yeah, well I knew that, still got hit but hey, at least it's dead."

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Dining Pavillion
Skills: Deception

Demi tugged on his jackets collar like he'd seen in the movies whenever a cool kid did something awesome. "Aye I'm cool, that's good to know then." He chuckled, grabbing another bite of his food as Arthur asked him to join in making snowmen, Andy tacking on to the notion. He looked over his shoulder, looking back towards the Hephaestus table before looking at Arthur and Andy. He reached his hand behind his neck and began to rub it, a bad habit he picked up from how many times he'd seen Zeke do it. Stopping himself almost immediately before his hand fell back to his side. "Maybe I can join in a bit later? Kinda just promised Lauryn from the Hephaestus table that I'd help them fix up the Argo III after she's done eating. That and hopefully she can help me build a cool eye or something." He said as he pointed to the gauze and tape that currently covered his missing eye.

Demetri went to take a sip of his drink when his ear began to sting as Lauryn flicked it and whispered something into Andy's ear. He didn't know what she was saying, but whatever it was it couldn't be good. His eye narrowed slightly in annoyance as he stood up from the table. "Whatever you're saying, just remember I asked for this to be kept secret. And that means from everybody." He leveled a look on Lauryn before looking towards Andy and Arthur. "You two behave now while I'm gone, and Andy, make sure Arthur doesn't get into too much trouble." Demi joked as he downed the rest of his drink. "Alright Lauryn let's head to it." Demetri gestured for her to lead the way as he ruffled his siblings hair before exiting the dining pavillion.

Arthur Stanford

As Lauryn appeared, Arthur was about to suggest that she join them as well, but it seemed instead that she was there to take Dem away from them. Arthur shrugged, if he had his own stuff to do, that was fine; especially if there was the chance that he would join them later. A thought briefly crossed his mind that, if anybody would be absolutely amazing at the creation of snowmen, it would be the Hephaestus kids, but then again, he didn't know if their crafty skills necessarily transferred to the building snowmen. It occurred to him that he didn't immediately know who the Greek God of winter is, and a part of him wanted to see if they could find any of those kids to make snowmen with them.

Arthur stuck his tongue out at Demi, "I'm not gonna get in trouble." He promised. In truth, he'd been sticking to rules and behavior pretty well, if only because he'd been too emotionally wrapped up in turmoil. Eventually, when he felt back to a hundred percent, he'd probably start wrecking some havoc, but he wasn't quite there yet. He turned a side glance towards Andy, and saying, ", what's the worst I could do playing in the snow?" He chuckled, before finishing off his food, ready to head out and brave the weather for the sake of fun.

As Leandra was helped along by the guiding hand of her legionnaire companion, she opened her mouth, preparing to make some lighthearted banter with the ginger Greek girl when instead the young woman began to chew her out. Leandra raised an eyebrow, her lips dipping into a small frown. She'd not meant for Marygold to hear that exchange, hence why she lowered her voice, but it seemed that the girl had somehow overheard. Perhaps her eardrums had not yet shifted back into that of a humans, and her hearing had still been that of an apex predator. Leandra was usually quite good at making people like her, it was her defining talent. But it at times seemed as though there were those cosmically destined to bear their teeth at her.

"Isley, darling, I did not mean to offend, but a battle is about more than who does the most damage. Yes, you may have dealt out more wounds than anyone on the battlefield, but you also would've received gods know how many more were it not for the intervention of young Stella. Offense is the base of every battle, but without supportive combatants, that's often all it is: a base. Forgive me for wanting to introduce your new warrior to that concept early," Leandra replied, her tone soft and pleasant, if a bit matter-of-factly. She ignored the personal jabs at her; she'd dealt with worse. Though it did seem a bit odd for Marygold to be attacking her personal performance when that hadn't at all been touched on in her interaction with Stella. Leandra let Marygold enter the cabin first, before following in after her and taking the first seat she could find. She slipped the neck of her shirt down her shoulder a bit to give Alexandra a better look at the wound she was working with, unobscured by the bright orange of the t-shirt. When Phelps spoke, Leandra let out a small, weak laugh. "Oh sweetheart, it's sweet that you think I could handle myself in a fistfight with this one-woman jungle."

Andy snickered at Lauryn's whispered secret. That explained why her brother had been so happy lately. Andy didn't know much about love. She knew stories about it though. People who were in love were happy. "I'm surprised you think I'm going to keep Arthur out of trouble. I feel like it'd probably be the other way around." Andy said. She was, of the pair of them, more likely to run into a situation without thinking it through. Arthur, while slower to act, at least thought about the consequences before following after Andy into whatever danger she was getting herself into.

"I don't think snowmen building will be too dangerous of a sport anyway. I've definitely hurt myself worse on the climbing wall than I could making snowmen." Andy didn't bother fixing her hair. It was in a perpetual state of disarray so there was no point trying. She finished her food. Waved at her aunt who was sitting with the other Romans, and took Arthur's hand leading him off to find a good spot of thick fresh snow they could use.

Niah took a bite of her food thinking. "I don't think you need to sleep with the rest of the Legion. Everyone is used to you all being in your own bungalow anyway. My rank doesn't give me that luxury though." She explained. She was fine with not having the luxury. Mads turned the conversation away from sleeping arrangements to the War Games. She nodded at Zeke as he came over to speak with Nancy. She didn't care for him but that was a her problem. Especially since Nancy and he seemed close as half-siblings.

"Oh, I like that idea a lot. I can use the armor to my advantage for the team on the ground." She said, trying not to interpret Zeke and Nancy's conversation. Her mind started running over scenarios. They actually would want to have the attacking team be at the disadvantage because the ship would be such a big advantage it wouldn't be a fair fight otherwise. Though it would be good for the Romans to get better at areal assault. They might be using it to take back New Rome.

"A centaur... huh. Like the one in the stars? Or that movie? The Disney one with just music and no words?" Stella offered Chiron a small smile and then blinked as he moved into the wheelchair contraption and his horse half vanished. "Pity, I was liking the horse half... why hide it like that?" Stella always had a habit of thinking aloud, so anyone could hear what she was saying at the moment.

She looked up at Rosie and waved. "Stella... nice to meet you too." She watched as Rosie walked off and then sat down on one of the couches and took a deep breath. "I have like a ton of questions. First, is this about my mom? Is she the Greek God you said I'm part of? I mean that would make sense... dad and otou-san always clammed up when I would ask where I came from because I know I'm not adopted. I'm their kid... no matter what anyone else says. Also what's an oracle, why do I need to be here, why is it safe for me here rather than back home and what the heck was that thing that was chasing me and why were those two girls fighting while trying to help me?"

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

"Oi, be nice to the pegasi!" Leda protested. They were associated with her mother after all - and they were very on brand for Leda's personal aesthetic. She giggled though at Kiera's complaints about the elephant. The elephant always felt so incredibly random to her. Why couldn't the Romans have been normal and had something not so bizarre? Were elephants even really that great for warfare or whatever? She supposed a small flying elephant would have been cute - maybe she ought to go suggest that to one of their leaders. She knew one of them had a pet mini dragon.

She glanced from side to side, before nodding. "Just the one. Mum said the gods are starting to pick sides... Which is probs a no-brainer, but it'd be nice to avoid a repeat of the Trojan War," Leda said. She didn't want to know what would happen if the godly civil war really began, especially since she figured it would spread to Camp Half-blood. They already had the Romans around bringing up tension, they didn't need the cabins fighting each other as well for dominance. Luckily, she hadn't seen anything like that among the Big Three kids - yet.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Dining Pavilion

Nancy glanced up, hearing her half-brother approach the table. While she had been trying not to get close to anyone new here at Camp Half-blood, as she'd inevitably have to leave them behind in order to walk Diana's path, she hadn't been able to do so with Zeke. It was nice to have someone else who understood what it was like to be a child of Apollo - that and the archery lessons, as she didn't want to embarrass herself with Diana's bow. She had gotten fairly good at it since Zeke began training her, but she knew that she still had a lot of room for improvement. "Sure, we can knock in a session, that'd be radical," she told him. "Not too long though, I have to plan for the War Games."

She then glanced down at the map Mads had conjured up. It sounded like a good plan - and a nice change of pace from the usual War Games. They pretty much were always at New Rome, so most variations with the geographic set up had already been done. If they had had a second ship, she would've suggested training the Legion on some naval combat maneuvers in the lake, but as it was, Mads had a good plan. "I like it. Do we want to invite the Greeks to participate?" she posed.
