Beth show signs of her powers at a very young age, they were first discovered when young Beth got so excited for her six birthday, her hands start shooting out fireworks from her hands and almost burn the house down (At least she got a Barbie doll...It was Malibu Barbie, she wanted a ballerina Barbie) Despite not being heroes themselves, Beth parents try to teach Beth to control her powers as the best as they can.
When middle school roll around, Beth grades show that she is a pretty smart kid, specially in her science class but just like any nerdy kid, she was often alone and didn't have many friends and only way to get some, is to change her looks and personality entirely. So Beth ditch her nerdy clothes, nerdy glasses and her nerdy mind and become a popular girl throughout middle school and high school!.....It wasn't fun as she thought up to be.
After Beth graduated, she got accepted to Kingsdale University and although she doesn't keep touch with her popular friends, she still feel pressured from society, so she keep still being a popular valley but she still join a chemistry class (girl loves science, what can she say?) In order to pay rent for her apartment, Beth decided to get a job and that job was....Starbunks!.....But after working there for five weeks with little pay, Beth realize that she has powers, she doesn't need to work at this dead end job! So she quit right on the spot and join HERO and it was the best decision of her life!

Here is my app! (finally)
In truth I do need help deciding a ranking for him, so under that category I made note of what I am initially thinking of giving him. I finished this app rather late at night so I also hope I got the general rating system right. ^^;
Regardless, if anything needs to be fixed or such just say the word and I'll do it! :DStrain

[ NAME ] Lucian B. Hawthorne
[ HERO IDENTITY ] Strain
[ NICKNAME/ALIAS ]
“Luci” (only his little sister and mom get to use this one)
“Luce” (a casual nickname his old childhood friends in Brookside called him)
[ AGE ] 19
[ GENDER ] Male
[ AFFILIATION ]
H.E.R.O.
[ APPEARANCE ]
A younger man with a tall, athletically-muscular build and a conventionally attractive set of looks. Nothing that would draw a crowd, but not the sort of looks that would make him blend fully into one either. His muscular build is something he has worked out from years of training, exercise, and frankly work at it, and his usual casual attire of short-sleeves and comfortable blue jeans tend to show some of it off somewhat. When he exercises, he tends to wear shorts and short-sleeves for that no matter the time of year...which is a bad habit in the winter according to his mother (but not according to his stepfather). He has short-cut blonde hair and a pair of soft, ocean-blue eyes that seem to have a depth to them in a sense.-Casual Lucian-
-Hero Outfit Style/Appearance-
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]
[ D I S C I P L I N E D ]
Lucian can generally keep his head in the game and maintains a sense of self-discipline in general due to the influence of his stepfather and likewise his own desire to have such. He will work his hardest at a task until he can’t, is reliable to get a job done even if it is hard if he’s agreed to it, and seeks to keep his cool as best he can. His sense of self-discipline is mostly applied out in the field, dire situations, and when training or in a briefing, and in these areas he gets rather serious at that. Though if his anger comes through or is evoked, it can shake him right out of his usually more self-controlled state.
[ K I N D ]
Lucian can be a kind soul at heart, the type who empathizes with others and wants to help if he can at least. Whether it is getting a kitten from a tree or assisting someone having a troubled day, Lucian is usually the type who will help if he can and is allowed to. Yet by the same vote this can naturally lead to him getting angry (see the “Irritable” trait below) about something if it
[ I R R I T A B L E ]
At the end of the day or some point he usually needs his own time to “recharge” and cool down mentally and emotionally, lest he gets even more irritable if he hasn’t had some time to relax or “breathe” (as he puts it) in some fashion. Likewise he gets rather defensive about questions of his parentage at that (a rather sore matter for him), and negative comments about his family members can elicit a quick anger. Frankly find the things that make him tick, or simply seek to stoke his anger, and one can just get him fuming.
[ D E D I C A T E D ]
To those he cares about most, Lucian is someone who will drop anything to help them at a moment’s notice...usually without thinking about it either to be frank. Whether it be a girlfriend, family member, or other who has come among his nearest and dearest, that is one way to gain both his support as well as get at him if one seeks to bring him down.
[ BIO ]
Lucian was born the third of four children, with his two older siblings being half-siblings by his mother’s first husband before he died in a car crash. Without ways to support her family, and no extended family on either side to turn to, Lucian’s mother tried to work odd jobs but was left tied up by all the effort it took to keep living in a middle-class home. In the end she ended up moving into a cheaper area of town, and as she worked at supporting her and her two children at the time she met another man: Lucian’s father. From the sounds of what little Lucian knows, the romance was a whirlwind and heartfelt and his father had powers himself. Yet all he’s ever been told is that his father just disappeared one day...never to return again four months after Lucian was born into the world. After that his mother was more of a mess, and in trying to cope with this got pregnant and gave birth to Lucian’s little sister. But all the same Lucian did his best to help her from a young age.
Growing up in a neighborhood in Brookside, Lucian did manage to get into his fair share of trouble. It was mostly trying to assist his sister, who herself has a milder level of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and non-functioning legs that keep her in a wheelchair, who was easy prey for some other kids in the neighborhood. A few times Lucian was stabbed or frankly beat another kid unconscious, and as he grew up the boy proved to have an anger within him. Angry at those who jeered at his family. Angry at his inability to get an answer about his parentage. Even so his mother tried to temper him, and the presence of his little sister or getting him to cook something was the most effective at cooling his head when he’d “go off”. Ultimately his mother did do some things to help neighbors as well, and in return Lucian’s family became one with the locals right around them after some years. In this vein things got a bit easier at least, and he did get some pointers on how to navigate the streets in turn. His mother also pushed him to get public education and maintain it, which was at least the minimum she was able to get him to do properly beyond having him helping at home.
Yet when Lucian was about 11 years old, his mother finally remarried to a retired officer and former US Marine. A highly decorated and accomplished one at that. The two met at the store his mother worked at, and this led to talking. Talking led to laughing. This led to dating. One can get the picture from there. It was enough to pull Lucian and his family into a distinctly better part of the city, Passenger Island, due to his stepfather’s income and current line of work for the government. It was a kind of better life his older siblings could at least remember, but that he himself and his little sister had never known. However, he did clash with his stepfather over and over at first, butting heads with his anger and the man’s cooler discipline. It all got to the point that the man decided to “train” young Lucian like a soldier to get a handle on him.
Thus began roughly 8 years of training with his stepfather in AMCMAP (Advanced Marine Corps Martial Arts Program), and ultimately his enrollment at the Academy for Junior Heroes. From here he’s trained and worked and learned and ultimately graduated to become a hero working for H.E.R.O. itself. However, with many questions about his life left unanswered, and myriad threats lurking in the dark, it will be up to the whims of time and Lucian’s own choices to see where he ends up.
| MISCELLANEOUS |
-One of his older siblings, as well as his little sister, both possess powers. His little sister is enrolled at the Academy for Junior Heroes as well, wanting to become a hero herself in some capacity, but has some years to go if she’s going to become good hero material.
-The only thing he's overheard his mother say otherwise about his birth father is something about "Depths". Whatever that means.[ RANKING ] (B+ or A I am thinking)
[ POWERS ]
Density Alternation. The user can alter the density of themselves and other things/etc around them. They can alter their own density to be so little they become intangible and able to fly, alter their density to the point they become invisible, they can alter the density of an object to make it incredibly tough yet heavy, they can alter the density of intangible things to make them tangible, alter the density of someone's body to make them stronger and more durable, and so forth. A power with a wide variety of applications basically, ranging from bringing down a flying enemy to making a target's non-muscular tissues so dense they are weighed down and can't move.
[ PHYSICAL STRENGTH ]
■■■■■■■□□□
Lucian has no strength-related powers, but he has pushed himself through martial arts and exercise to achieve a very physically fit and strong/agile build. Can alter the density of things to pick up even stuff he shouldn’t be able to, but that doesn’t change his strength. He can, however, alter the density of himself..which includes his muscle tissues...for temporary super strength. Still is very much human.
[ AGILITY ]
■■■■□□□□□□
Lucian has trained and practiced and exercised alike to achieve a higher but still-human level of agility.
[ INTELLIGENCE ]
■■■■□□□□□□
Lucian is generally well-educated and considered to have above-average intelligence.
[ DESTRUCTIVENESS ]
■■■■■■■■■□
When you can create craters and collapse things through altering their density, destructive potential is something that naturally comes with Lucian’s power.
[ LETHALITY ]
■■■■■■□□□□
Not an inherently lethal power at base, but it can be used in lethal manners if the user gets creative. Things like increasing the density of the target’s head or spine or limbs specifically, crushing them underneath density altered objects, and so forth are the sort of options one can take in this regard.
[ ENDURANCE ]
■■■■■■■□□□
Lucian has no passive superhuman endurance-related powers himself, but he can use his power to make himself more durable or alternately intangible in effect. This adds to his endurance in battle and out of it when he uses his power to this end at least.
[ EFFICACY ]
■■■■■□□□□□
Lucian can only affect (and adjust the effects of his power on) four individual targets at a time, including himself or part of himself as one of these four if he so wishes, and can fine-tune and adjust the effects of his power on said targets as well. As he usually always keeps himself included among these “four targets'', he generally is limited to 3 other individual targets unless he ceases to target himself (albeit this could include “a single whole building” as a target). Removing one of the individual targets from effects of his power frees it instantly as well, returning it to its normal density/state.
Likewise, when he makes himself intangible, electricity can still affect him and actually hurts him more than normal in that state. So toss up an electrified fence and he can’t pass through it when trying to be intangible. That being said, when going intangible he can’t interact with other things either save to move through them. Using his power also places a general strain on him, like he’s lifting heavy weights or running a marathon, so excessive enough use of his powers can frankly drain him to exhaustion and beyond that to the point of self-injury if he continues to push himself. This is mitigated to some extent by his normal fit and strong physique, but since he doesn’t have a superhuman physique at base he still can only do so much.
[ SKILLS ]
-AMCMAP (Advanced Marine Corps Martial Arts Program): The product of having a step-father who was a celebrated soldier and then ultimately officer within the Marines, and who helped innovate an improved martial arts program for the military. The same man who drilled this all into him to “instill a sense of discipline” over the last 7 years, but basically went overboard by some accounts by training a kid in military-grade martial arts. At the same time, however, Lucian has kept up this training alongside his own regimen of exercise.
-Cooking and Sewing: Something his mother taught him since childhood, mostly skills that were needed in his first decade of life but became personal hobbies since. In the former he has a passion for tasty food, leading to his geeking out if talking about the subject of cooking, whilst in regards to the latter he is at least generally solid and competent with his skills in the area of sewing.
[ EQUIPMENT ]
-Knife: The only thing left behind by his birth father, a well-built bowie knife with the semi-faded but hard-etched initials “A.B.T.” engraved into the handle by some means. Passed on to him by his mother, who had kept it hidden away for years but ultimately gave it to him as a gift once he joined HERO.

[ NAME ]Richard Hoss
[ HERO IDENTITY ]Forge
[ NICKNAME/ALIAS ]Rich
[ AGE ]36
[ GENDER ]Male
[ AFFILIATION ]Villain/Vigilante; formerly a member of HERO
[ APPEARANCE ]At 6’ 4” and 260lbs, combined with his broad shoulders and muscular build, Richard is an imposing individual; his height and his size, which includes a wide, barrel chest, thick arms and legs and large hands, give him a presence and physicality that is hard to ignore. His skin is a tanned bronze in colour, marred in places by the occasional pale scar, which complement his reddish brown hair and brown eyes.Richard keeps his hair short on the sides but longer on top, letting the locks of hair fall as they may; his facial hair he pays more attention to, keeping his goatee neatly trimmed and in order. His face is as broad as the rest of his body, with a square face, broad nose and a strong, angular chin. When it comes to his wardrobe Richard dressed plainly, but smartly, keeping to solid black or slate grey clothing. He will wear slacks or jeans, dress shirts or a sweater, depending on the occasion and the weather. Under his clothing he wears a bodysuit that covers his upper body and his lower half down to mid-thigh, black in colour; it is made of the same heat resistant and sturdy material that his old hero costume was made out of, capable of surviving him using his power without compromising his dignity.
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]JADEDRichard wanted to change the world at one point. In a way he still does, but the hopeful and optimistic dream he once had as a young boy first donning a costume died a long time ago, snuffed out by repeated failures and the realisation that the world was not the way he thought it was. Richard is a cynical individual with little faith or trust left to put in people; he expects them to act in their own self-interest, nothing more, and treats them as such.
DRIVENThe drive Richard had as a hero still exists; he has not given up on his goals, merely changed them. He never was the type to give up or turn away from a problem and he was never the type to let others keep him from doing what he felt needed to be done. In the past this meant fighting against villains or criminals, or standing up to the injustices he saw; now it’s the heroes who are standing in his way.COMPOSEDRichard is not the type to wear his emotions on his sleeve, nor is he the type to let them dictate his actions. That is not to say that he doesn’t act based on his emotions at times, but instead that he is able to keep a level head even when under duress.
[ BIO ]Richard comes from a family of heroes; he is third generation, with both his father and grandfather being heroes before him, and it was never really a question whether or not he would follow in their footsteps; not for them and not for him. His grandfather, Michael Hoss, became a hero in the 80’s during an era when heroes were just starting to reach the peak of their fame, with many becoming celebrities and household names in their own right. He operated in Texas, his home state, first as an independent hero and later on joining the hero company TEXAS. Although his grandfather, who went by the name Ironside, never managed to reach that level of notoriety himself his attitude and beliefs towards costumed heroes were shaped by his experiences in this time period; Michael held an idealised view of heroes, tinted by rose coloured glasses and later by nostalgia, believing that they were good and righteous people. Not that they should be good and righteous, but they that were be default just for being heroes.Michael Hoss was a good man; too good, in a sense. Because he was a good man he couldn’t conceive of a hero who didn’t meet his ideal of what a hero should be and this blinded him to their faults. When his eldest son was born and began to display powers, he passed on his beliefs to him and began to train him as a hero; what he didn’t do was teach him how to be a good man. Because heroes were good by default he didn’t have to and so Richard’s father, Nathan, felt that he didn’t have to do anything to be good either; he just was. After spending a few years working at TEXAS with his father, under the name Thermal, he moved to Castleburg and signed up with HERO instead; a few years after that, he met his wife.Nathan Hoss is not an evil man, he wasn’t even a particularly bad one; mostly he was just selfish, a little conceited and utterly lacking in self-awareness. When Richard was born and began to display his powers Nathan passed onto him the same beliefs that his father taught him, despite them being out-dated before he was even born. For a while, like his father, he even believed in those values; he believed in heroes, in his father, in HERO. That they were more. That they were better. That they were special. Once he turned eighteen he joined up with HERO himself, looking to continue his family’s legacy but unsure if a normal person like himself would ever be able to match up, and found that reality was not quite as he had been taught to believe. The heroes he met, the ones he worked alongside were… less than expected; arrogant and egotistical, petty, vain, overly concerned with their own fame and popularity, reckless and unapologetic about their mistakes. Even costly ones. They were, well, human; they were not the paragons that he had heard his father and grandfather talk about. Even his own father wasn’t immune; he just was blind to the man’s faults before seeing him in action.Once he came to this realisation Richard began to question why people were okay with letting heroes act the way they did; if there was nothing separating heroes from regular people other than their power, if they were as flawed and imperfect as everyone else, then why were the hero companies allowed to act with as much freedom as they did? There were no qualifications to become a hero, he knew that for a fact since he was one; anyone walking in off of the street could become a hero, so why were they as respected and trusted as they were? His previous fear, that a normal person like himself could not match up to the lofty goal of becoming as good as the other heroes became the fear that they weren’t any better than him. And when some heroes held as much power as they did, power to ruin an entire city single-handedly, wasn’t that a terrifying thought?Richard spent the next several years trying to become the best hero he could be; rather than be defeated by the shattering of his worldview, he sought to fix it instead, thinking that if he could become the kind of hero that he originally wanted to be and even inspire others to do the same, then things would be okay. Along the way he encountered a disappointing level of resistance and criticisms from those around him; most didn’t see any problem with the way they did things so long as the villains were caught and the disasters prevented, others were more blatant about the fact they just didn’t care, while a few even accused him of trying to upstage them and make other heroes look bad with his “crusade”. After five years of this he gave up and Richard quit HERO, instead deciding to become an independent hero and vigilante while also publically advocating for changes to laws regarding hero companies and heroes themselves. This approach didn’t make him many friends among the hero community, but he never had many of those to begin with. When the e-Police were first introduced and heroes began to decline in popularity, he understood why. It seemed that the general public was finally starting to catch on to the idea that heroes were more trouble than they were worth. Why wouldn’t the public put more trust in a robot, than the heroes who were a constant source of collateral damage because “it was necessary”? Heroes who were nothing more than flawed individuals with too much power and not enough culpability. Heroes who were no better trained, sometimes even less trained, than the police but given far more leeway. The robots weren’t perfect, of course, and likely never would be; there would always be threats that required a person with powers to intervene, but if the heroes were starting to experience a decline then it meant people were starting to realise that occasionally needing a “hero” didn’t mean having to put up with the hero companies or the hero culture. If the heroes couldn’t recover from this set back and restore public opinion, then didn’t that mean it was fair that they were replaced?Richard hopes that the current situation will be enough for the heroes to change their ways or for the hero companies to disband entirely, but he is not hopeful. If things are going to change then he will need to lend proceedings a helping hand and put the final nail in the coffin of the heroes.
| MISCELLANEOUS |During his time as a hero working for, well, HERO, Richard always hid or chose not to use certain aspects of his power due to it being too dangerous or destructive to bystanders or the surroundings. This has made it easier for the company to disavow the fact that he used to work for them before becoming a villain by highlighting the fact that he has since started using abilities that he had never shown as a hero before, stating that he has either undergone some change or was hiding information about himself and was always planning to betray them. This is further help but the fact that his relation to his father and grandfather were also kept a secret while he was a hero, at his own request.[ RANKING ]A
[ POWERS ]Molten Metal GenerationRichard Hoss has a power which appears straight forward at first, but is surprisingly multi-faceted in reality. He has strength and durability beyond that of a normal human, which by himself would make him an effective hero or villain, but in addition to this he is able to produce molten metal from his body at will; the substance he produces is atomically identical to high-grade steel and its temperature is high enough to remain fluid. Richard does not have any direct control over the movement of this metal, aside from his ability to keep producing more of it, but it will remain heated so long as he is in contact with it and so long as he will it; it will cool naturally should it leave contact with him.He is also able to instantly cool any of the metal that is in contact with him, solidifying and hardening it into solid steel at a moment’s notice. He uses this defensively, to quickly coat himself in a layer of armour to protect against attacks or offensively to harder a part of his body for an attack. However, even when solid he still does not have any direct control over the shape of the metal and his body will be sealed inside the hardened shell, unable to move. That being said, he is not trapped forever as Richard is able to remove the metal from his body by shattering and propelling it away from his body like a burst of shrapnel.
[ PHYSICAL STRENGTH ]■■■■■■■□□□7/10 – Richard physical strength is greatly enhanced, being able to easily lift several tons of mass with his bare hands.
[ AGILITY ]■■■■□□□□□□4/10 – Richard has no enhanced ability to speak of, but his strength allows him to move faster than a normal person by using great, leaping bounds to cover ground quickly.
[ INTELLIGENCE ]■■■■■□□□□□5/10 – Though many assume that he is a dumb brute due to his power or his way of fighting, Richard is a surprisingly well educated individual. He is no genius, but he is intelligent and well spoken.
[ DESTRUCTIVENESS ]■■■■■■■□□□7/10 – His strength combined with the molten metal he leaves in his wake and the explosive shrapnel he produces mean that Richard has a great capacity for destruction whether he wants to or not. This was a limitation for him as a hero and made it so he needed to hold back or limit himself when fighting, but since leaving that path he is no longer fettered so.
[ LETHALITY ]■■■■■■■■□□8/10 – With destruction comes lethality. The carnage he can cause to his surroundings can also be visited on his opponents and the hazardous nature of his powers mean even bystanders are not safe when he is fighting his hardest.
[ ENDURANCE ]■■■■■■■■□□8/10 – Richard’s body is hardy even without activating his full powers, but when coated in molten metal or a layer of solid armour he becomes even harder to hurt.
[ EFFICACY ]■■■■■■■□□□7/10 – Though straightforward, Richard’s power is surprisingly complex. Even so, he has had years to practice using it and in a way the fact that he used to hold himself in check as a hero has made him even more proficient than he would have been otherwise.
[ SKILLS ]Kickboxing/Wrestling – Rather than just rely on his size and power to win fights, Richard has spent several years learning to fight both on his feet and on the ground in order to be able to deal with a variety of opponents.Public Speaking – A side-effect of being someone in the public eye first as a hero then as a grass-roots activist, Richard is confident and capable of addressing large audiences while getting his point across.

[ NAME ]Mallory Doyle
[ VILLAIN IDENTITY ]Lyssa, but she’s never told anyone this. To the rest of the world she is an unnamed villain.
[ NICKNAME/ALIAS ]Mal
[ AGE ]22
[ GENDER ]Female
[ AFFILIATION ]Confetti’s villain team.
[ APPEARANCE ]Mallory is tall and made of ropey muscle, standing at a staggering six feet, four inches. A tall girl, to say the least. Her clothes are pretty ratty, and her long black hair is untrimmed and ratty in places. If she cared, she would probably clean-up rather nicely.
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]Mallory Doyle has an explosive outburst disorder. Her temper is something utterly beyond her control, and what would merely annoy other people can send her into an irrationally violent rage.
When she isn’t freaking the hell out, or getting angered, Mallory is a grounded person. She certainly knows she has a problem, but she doesn’t feel like she has adequate resources or the means to “fix” herself. She has a strong distrust of the government and is worried they might disappear her into the Depths. But not afraid enough to not mess with them, in fact she believes the forces that be could be knocked down a peg or too. But her intentions are almost entirely self-serving. She wants money in a power in a world where she has felt helpless her entire life.
Secretly, she often finds refuge in public libraries. Since everyone is forced to be quiet and shut up there, it’s a place where she feels safe. She also likes animals and won’t ever hurt one, especially dogs. Even police dogs.
[ BIO ]Born to poor parents, her mother abandoned her at birth and left her with life-long loser, Timothy Doyle. An utterly inadequate man, crushed into a cog and then placed within the machine of society. He took part in creating his loser daughter. At least, that’s how Mallory views the situation. He tried to take good care of his daughter but he wasn’t up to the task. As Mallory grew up it became clear she wasn’t going to easily fit in. Her explosive temper kept her socially isolated. Her independent, bitter spirit rejected the people that would attempt to solve her problems by drugging her personality away entirely.
As she grew up, entirely friendless, she had poor grades. She got arrested and put into juvy a few times. She dropped out, one of many people to slip through the cracks. When her powers developed as a young teenager, she turned to petty crime. She tried to go straight, but she could never hold down a job. For a while she considered joining HERO but she knew they wouldn’t have her. Not a bad guy like her.
So she became a career criminal. She was content to be hired, metahuman muscle for the gangs and mafias that still control significant areas of Castleburg.
Her father came down with some kind of sickness she doesn’t understand. Whatever it is, it’s killing him slowly. This is what pushed her over the edge into full on supervillainy in order to acquire enough money to pay for his treatments, and also get enough cash in one big spree that she can retire forever. That’s why she joined up with Confetti.
| MISCELLANEOUS |She likes beer. Maybe wine, sometimes.
[ RANKING ]B+
[ POWERS ]String Form
Mallory can turn her body into white string. The string is very durable, and can be thick like ropes or stretched into piano wire. She has a lot of string, as much as could be coiled and compressed within her tall form.
She can stretch and shrink her form, or contort it into various shapes and sizes. The string has a lot of power behind it as well as its durability. She can change only parts of her body into string, or the whole thing. Since the string is so strong and can be so malleable, she can often create extremely sharp appendages.
She is capable of splitting the string, but the more pieces she is split into, the more easy the string is to damage. Damage to the string is carried over to her more standard form.
[ PHYSICAL STRENGTH ]
■■■■■■■□□□
Mallory’s string has a lot of power behind it, capable of crushing, striking, or grappling with considerable power. This power is also available to her normal body. 7/10
[ AGILITY ]
■■■■■■■■■□
Mallory is very agile. She can fit through any gap that’s wider than a razor wire. She can jump, pull, swing, and fling herself around the place. Extremely maneuverable and precise. 9/10
[ INTELLIGENCE ]
■■□□□□□□□□
Undereducated, but makes up for it with street smarts. 2/10
[ DESTRUCTIVENESS ]
■■■■■□□□□□
Capable of producing a decent amount of slashing and crushing damage. But overall, nothing particular massive in scale. 5/10
[ LETHALITY ]
■■■■■■□□□
Sharp, malleable, self-supporting wires. Ouch. 7/10
[ ENDURANCE ]
■■■■■■□□□
Not only is Mallory made out of tough stuff, she’s made out of compressible materials. Often she can just go with the flow. Even the impact of fired bullets will be reduced if she lets her body be loose. The bullets can pass right through her. If she goes the opposite route, they could bounce off. Over time she can be worn down, so she prefers to keep her exposure minimal. 7/10
[ EFFICACY ]

Not much can really prevent her from going into string mode. Infact, she’s always in string mode. It’s just sometimes her body looks normal. Even if she falls unconscious her body will remain in its last form. She can split herself into multiple pieces. These pieces will dissolve in time, and her body will regenerate more strings at about the same pace. 9/10
[ SKILLS ]Street brawling. Knows the Dewey decimal system. She also has some contacts in the underworld from her time as a hired gun. Speaking of guns, she’s not a half-bad shot, though she’s by no means a markswoman.
[ EQUIPMENT ]Machine-pistols, a pick-up truck. Various miscellaneous supplies for skulduggery.

[ APPEARANCE ]
Kane stands at 6’6 even with a bronze skin tone and brown eyes. He possesses a mesomorphic and burley build, easily mirroring his father in a few years. His hair is naturally a dark brown in color, though in certain lightings it can be mistaken for black. It is thick, shoulder-length, and sparsely braided but most often wild. He also has some dark markings on his forehead, reminiscent of tribal tattoos.
*Further details on these markings will be found under Abilities.
Kay’s style of dress can be seen as fairly conservative. Despite his musculature, he doesn’t flaunt it much, with the most skin seen on average coming through the exposed arms of varying shirts. Otherwise, jeans, combat pants, khakis, and sweats are all things he would be seen in. He also tends to like wearing different sorts of Stetsons, no matter what he wears casually. Kay also isn’t the type to dress up and would have to be talked into doing so.

[ BIO ]
Kane’Tohopka is the first born son of Samson and Kia Wernicke. His Father, also known as Kanati the Hunter, is a retired longtime agent of HERO. Kane was raised in the country, on the Wernicke Family Farm that his own father was raised on. The boy had a peaceful home life. His father worked hard to make sure that his family lacked nothing secularly. His mother managed the home as best she could emotionally. As a result, Kane’Tohopka had a stable childhood.
Except for one thing: The Chazeka.
Ever since childhood the Chazeka, or Rage, has afflicted Kane. What was worse, unlike other children, his powers began to develop much earlier. It was what kept him from conventional schooling as when he lashed out, even as a little boy, he was a danger to most. It had gotten bad enough to the point that his mother feared she gave birth to a Wendigo. Sam, while similarly distraught, did not panic.
Instead, he made a call to an old friend of his. This old friend wrote symbols on Kane’Tohopka to help manage the Chazeka. After that, outside of the Incident, they managed to live a relatively peaceful life. Kane learned and laughed just as any other boy. He took particular interest in tending to the farm’s animals, naming them all and making it his personal mission to tend to them when sick or injured. The boy often journeyed into the forest around the farm to explore, even christening himself the Prince of The Wild.
It was while he was getting older though that Sam recognized that Kane couldn’t stay on the farm forever. Eventually, his boy would have to go out into the world and that adventurous spirit made that time fly to nearness. A world that was full of stresses and pains. Kane would have to learn how to deal with such things without losing himself to the Chazeka. In which case, a good place to learn would be at the famed Academy for Junior Heroes.
Thus, despite some minor protest from his wife and the boy himself, the family bought a second home and moved to the suburbs near to the big city of Castleburg. A fish out of water would be an understatement to describe how overwhelmed Kane was at first. The city was loud, it stank, was bright, was fast, and technology was confusing. It was hard but with his support group, it became great and he caught on fine.
More recently with becoming 18, Kane’s father promised him the keys to his old place in the East Flank. He was told that it was a big responsibility in maintaining a home of his own, but Kane was ready for it. There’s always been the concern of the Chazeka but it’s been a while since the last outburst. Besides, he’d just signed over to start working for HERO officially now. The future was brightening up for him as he was following in his father’s footsteps.
What does he have to fear?
| MISCELLANEOUS |
Kane is multi-lingual separate of his power, speaking English, Lakota, and Spanish in that order of fluency.
He has a six year old little sister named Xima, who hasn’t displayed any super powers as of yet.

[ POWERS ]
Reactive/Environmental Adaptation
Kanati from a young age has had the ability to adapt to the world around him in a variety of ways. It is a passive ability for the most part, that acts instantaneously to ensure his survival. It can act in two different ways, being short term and long term adaptations.
In short term situations, it provides short term solutions. For example, if he were to be submerged in water for a couple of minutes, he will have developed gills and can breathe underwater for a while. However, once he’s back to breathing air for the amount of time the adaptation was needed, he reverts to his normal state.
In long term situations, it provides longer lasting adaptations. Long term situations usually mean repeated situations over a long period of time. For example, he has developed borderline superhuman physical attributes after many years of rigorous physical work alongside his largely superhuman father. For this to die down, it would take many years of him not doing imposing physical labor.
While his adaptation is instantaneous, the situation to adapt to must be introduced to his system at least once before. This would mean that one-hit kill or incapacitating attacks to his system would definitely do the trick. This would obviously mean that he can’t carelessly throw himself into any situation. Another limitation is that while he can go for longer without food and water, he still indeed needs those things or he’ll die. It also doesn’t give him more intelligence, he still has to make smart decisions on his own.
However, these limitations are temporarily exuded when Kane is overtaken by the Chazeka. When The Chazeka is in control, the passive nature of his ability is overridden by stress and he goes into a fight or flight state. If Chazeka is in fight, it will attack the stressor, enhancing his physical prowess as damage is taken until the stressor is incapacitated or it flees. If Chazeka is in flight, it will flee the situation by whatever means necessary.
Once it feels safe, Kane’Tohopka will go into a state of unconsciousness as his body is recovering which can stretch from a couple days to even a month, depending on how long he was overtaken.
There are several ways to counteract the Chazeka:
1. A being, or group, of sufficient enough power can overpower the Chazeka, at least briefly before the adaptations stack.
2. A being, or group, of sufficient emotional connection to Kane can manage to calm the Chazeka down, or at least put it into flight by leaving with that person.
3. A sufficient dose of power dampeners.Filled Boxes Represent Average.

Hunter’s Bow - Kanati has a composite bow that Samson built early in his career. It has a draw-strength of 250 lbs that he could pull back casually enough to quickdraw with. For Kane, he can pull it back with little difficulty, but has to build up to be able to similarly quickly fire arrows with accuracy.
Arrows - Carries 15 on average; 10 Regular Arrows, 5 Trick Arrows.
Tomahawk - The small, durable, axe-like weapon that Kanati has had since the heroic golden age. It may not be the most flashy weapon, especially in this new age, but it’s definitely one of the most reliable.
With sort of spellcraft at his side, the Modern Warlock takes center stage!
Modern Warlock
"I was given a gift, and I'll use it for good!....But if I get an epic adventure or two out of it, that's awesome too!"
[ NAME ]Owen Gallard
[ HERO IDENTITY ]Modern Warlock! (...He wanted to be called 'Modern Wizard', but apparently it was already taken)
[ NICKNAME/ALIAS ]Big O (his nickname at the Academy)
[ AGE ]22 (give or take a year that he may have spent in a self-made timeloop)
[ GENDER ]Male
[ AFFILIATION ]Full-Time Hero, and proud of it! also hosts D&D on weekends if the week hasn't been super hectic
[ APPEARANCE ]While on occasion you'll meet Owen as he is in the image; which is to say, fairly slender and well-built for his age, it's more often than not that you find him a bit on the stockier side, a trait relating to his ability. While Owen never gets fat per se, normally he's more...Broadly built. Luckily, his exercise routines keep him from looking pudgy. He typically stands on average about 5'10, give or take a few inches depending, and weighs solidly around 180 under normal circumstances.
Owen actually grows out his facial hair quite often, but it never quite seems to grow in all the way, so just as soon as you might see him with some, it'll just as quickly be shaved away. His hair is a pleasant blonde tone, and while not the cleanliest, it is clear enough he puts some effort into it, and his pale green eyes are almost always filled with energy and enthusiasm for what comes next.
When he's just a civilian on the street, Owen keeps it casual. A black beanie which gives him total hipster vibes is almost always a part of the ensemble, unless it's hotter than hell outside (and even then he'll try and manage), along with a grey t-shirt/sweatpants combo, complete with a tied-off checkered jacket that he wears proper during the colder months, and reddish thick boots with plenty of space for him to grow into, if he ends up shaving off a couple more pounds than he intends to...
For hero work, he dons his sorcerous cowl (basically just a black cloak) and brandishes his elder staff (literally just a big-ass, gnarled tree root) as none other than MODERN WARLOCK! He definitely looks a bit heavy on the dorky side in the get-up, but it helps him get stoked for combat, so....As long as it works.
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]BUDDY-BUDDY:Owen is an immensely friendly dude. Sometimes a bit too friendly...Even with people he hasn't met before, he treats them like old pals all the same, and that makes his real friendships all the stronger as well. However, it also means he tends to push a lot of boundaries, and can make less outgoing people more uncomfortable. It's never his intention, but it happens, and while he'll learn from it, well...Sometimes he can't resist a friendly shoulder bump or side hug.
FEARLESS & HEROIC:Owen is a nigh unshakeable individual, rooted all the way back on that faithful day so long ago...Regardless, he's known for his daring heroic acts, unwilling to let fear halt him for even a moment's breath! Sometimes, though, his heroic acts can borderline on self-sacrificial and reckless, and while he's aware that's not the healthiest way to go about it, he'll do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe.
DORK-TACULAR:In spite of his outward appearance at times, Owen is a total dweeb. I mean, his favorite hobby is Dungeons and Dragons, for crying out loud. He loves to read (particularly about epic journeys, so typically high fantasy is his cup of tea), and not just reading on Holo like a normal person. No...He reads hardbacks. Like a major dork. He also used to be a drama kid, which helps him play up his heroics very well.
SELF-DOUBT:While outwardly an outgoing, confident, and brave individual, he feels like he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders. Some of it he placed on himself...His desire to do so much as only one man is always heavy on his mind, and while it pushes him to greatness, it also slowly erodes at his mental state. Not to mention that, given the true nature of his power (which he's actually done his best to keep under wraps for some time), many people are expecting him to 'grow out' of using D&D spells as a 'template' of sorts, and start seriously using his power. But...He likes it how it is. If it ain't broke, right? Heh...The point is, while he can put on an excellent brave face, his real confidence in himself is really an in-the-moment thing, and not something he manages to carry around for long.
[ BIO ]Owen grew up on the East Flank, and he had a pretty solid childhood! Well, except for one thing...His dad, the guy little Owen looked up to so dearly, well...He was taken away from him early on in his life, about when he was four. However, it was a formative moment for the young man as well, because as ashamed as he'd be to admit it nowadays, when his dad was on his deathbed, hooked up and wired to half a dozen different gadgets and gizmos, well...His young brain thought that he'd stopped looking like his dad. It scared him. So much so that, when the moment came for him to have a chance to say goodbye to dad...He couldn't muster that courage.
From that day, Owen swore to himself that fear would never rule him again.
He was quick to follow through on that, too. As he grew up, Owen was never afraid of anything or anyone. He stood up for those who couldn't, a friendly smile always on his face; he wanted to be there for others when no one else could be, and be a shoulder willing to uplift anyone. That was the kind of person he wanted to be.
When he discovered his powers, well...It went from a state of mind to a state of being. He really could be there for anyone...If he became a hero.
However, his powers, even by some of the strangest standards in the books, was a peculiar one to comprehend. The power to make things he thought...Reality. It's the kind of ability so overwhelming in scope, that even trying to imagine a single use for it caused the poor guy to wrack his brain. Eventually, though, he found his muse.
While young Owen was quite the sporty guy, he had one dweebish hobby; Dungeons and Dragons. Before this came in his life, he found himself unable to properly use his power. But with the right outlet, anything was possible...Because now, the kind of heroes he could imagine himself as in that world could be a reality.
Thus, while it's far from what his power could really be for, he began using it to mimic spells in D&D. From a simple Mage Hand to help lift things around and handle chores, to the almighty Fireball!....Mom wasn't happy when he first tested that one in his room. Still, he was starting to learn how to really use his powers, and the magical arts of D&D gave him the perfect bag of tricks to work towards heroics in the real world!
At his soonest convenience, he sought to enroll in the Academy for Junior Heroes, and by 14, he did just that! However...His path got thorny rather quickly there. Not only did he not find many who were interested in his favorite pastime, but many folks, teachers included, remarked that he lacked focus; his powers gave him variety, yes, but since he never truly honed anything, he was considered a knock-off grab-bag of Meta abilities many other students could perform with more precision, power, and efficiency. Not to mention how utterly different his power was. It felt like no teacher could truly help him with this...
Thankfully, as it turned out, there was one man who could actually help him...Mr. Lindall. While there powers weren't exactly 1:1, anything even close to Owen's was more than he could ask for. Truth be told, Owen wasn't always the best student, but Mr. Lindall's passion for the work got the kid through his own self-doubt about this whole thing that had been compounded by what the others had thought of the young man and his ability.
Eventually, all good things must come to an end. His time at the Academy was invaluable, but it passed by all the same at his graduation. However, even after that, Owen was still a bit skeptical about entering the scene, still spending a couple of years on his own practicing his power, and occasionally visiting his favorite teacher.
However, by the time he was 21, he had gathered up the courage needed to step through the doors of HERO...And he came out as Modern Warlock. Since then, things've been...Something, for sure, but he wouldn't change it for the world.| MISCELLANEOUS |Here, I'm going to list some of Owen's go-to 'spells'.
Eldritch Blast! - Eldritch Blast is, well...A blast of forceful energy, from either his staff or, if necessary, his hands. They act as concussive blasts, and can be fired in quick succession (able to launch about four within a handful of seconds, and they travel as impressive speeds). Perfect for subduing low-danger threats, like villain grunts, or acting as a distraction. It also has a low consumption of energy, so it makes it effective to pepper out.
Mage Hand! - Mage Hand is a utility ability by all means. He simply creates a small, blueish tinged hand in the air. It can lift about a dozen lbs., and can be commanded mentally by Owen to do menial tasks. He uses it very commonly in casual settings, like cracking open a soda and giving him a sip from it while he pages through a new book. It also takes very little energy to manifest, and none to maintain.
Absorb Elements! - It's shocking (heh) how often elemental assaults come into play as a Hero, whether it's a villain trying to cook you alive, or maybe you're just caught up in a teammate's massive lightning blast! Regardless, Absorb Elements is just what the doctor ordered. Temporarily, it grants Owen incredible resilience to the elements (fire, cold, lightning, and less commonly useful, acid and sound-based assaults) and absorbs it into him, granting a few of his strikes or a smack of his Elder Staff a bit of elemental punch to 'em! The best offense is a good defense, after all! Speaking of...
Shield! - If you aren't getting cooked and/or blasted, then Shield is what you probably need. Put simply, it forms a temporary but potent barrier of kinetic force around Owen, which is incredibly effective against most physical forms of assault, like blades, firearms, or giant crushing fists.
Enhance Ability! - Owen might not be naturally superhuman, but with a touch of Enhance Ability, that's a different story! This nifty trick can temporarily enhance a facet of an individual, such as their strength or agility. He can also use it on others, to incredible results! However, this is an ability that needs his focus, and if he tries to spread too many focus-necessary spells around, it'll probably overwhelm him. He typically sticks to one at a time for abilities like these.
Enlarge/Reduce! - While it isn't always the most helpful, it is always fun. Using this, Owen enlarges or reduces a creature's size, either doubling or halving it. If used on an unwilling target, it usually requires much more focus on his part to actually use the ability. This ability isn't typically super useful, but sometimes, making a really buff dude suddenly 15 ft. tall is worth it.
Fireball! - Ah, a time-honored classic...While Owen does have quite a few dangerous options up his sleeve, most pale in comparison to the destructive might of the Fireball. A massive explosive of flaming goodness can send even the strongest villains packing! Though it ain't easy to shoot them out willy nilly, and they do have a tendency to cause heavy property damage...
Haste! - Have you ever needed to be just a little faster? Maybe quicker to the draw, to dodge that important attack? Owen's got just the thing! Haste, while requiring his focus like Enlarge/Reduce and Enhance Ability, it totally worth it, as the recipient gets a great increase to their speed and reaction time, and a touch more durable as well! It's a great package deal, and if he gives it to the right person, it can make a huge difference![ RANKING ]A
[ POWERS ]With Imagination, anything could be possible.
Owen's power is, quite simply, to make his imagination a reality. However, that kind of power was not made for human hands...Much less a guy just getting out of his teens. As such, in his time training to become a Hero, he simplified his power in order to use it more properly, instead choosing to emulate many of the Spells present in his favorite TTRPG, Dungeons and Dragons.
This offers him lots of variably. In fact, it's still a bit overwhelming to him; not quite as bad as the full scope of his potential, but still a hefty load to keep track of. As such, while he's capable of producing a plethora of effects, it's hard for him to use most without a bit of prepwork, essentially preparing a few 'spells' in mind for the days' work.
[ PHYSICAL STRENGTH ]
■■■■■□□□□□
Owen is given a generous score here. While normally he'd land about a 3/10, he has ways of improving his own physique through Imagination, which allow him to measure up to the average super-muscled individual...Roughly, at least. Get ready, because this is going to be for a lot of his things. 5/10.
[ AGILITY ]
■■■■■□□□□□
Yet again, sparing him a bit more than he deserves. While he was on track, and is no slouch when it comes to training, he'd probably still earn a 2/10 here if it weren't for some tricks up his sleeve, most notably Haste, which can allow him to match car speeds fairly casually, and Fly, which can allow him (or others) to, well...Fly. 5/10.
[ INTELLIGENCE ]
■■■□□□□□□□
Owen's a pretty smart kid when he puts his mind to something...But rarely puts his mind to something unless there are dire straits, or he has a dungeon to plan out before Sunday comes to kick his DM rear. 3/10.
[ DESTRUCTIVENESS ]
■■■■■□□□□□
In truth, Owen could score quite a bit higher on his Destructiveness scale, but he tends to stray away from using his powers that cause too much widespread damage when he can. Still, they are there, ready to be used...5/10.
[ LETHALITY ]
■■■■■□□□□□
In a similar case to Destructiveness, he keeps his more dangerous, lethal powers in reserve. Mostly because those are the ones that eat up too much energy, but also because of the inherent deadly nature some of them possess, such as Fireball. Again, though, there is always the potential.... 5/10.
[ ENDURANCE ]
■■■■■■■□□□
Owen has a particular focus on defensive tricks to protect others and himself, so it earns him a higher slot here. Things like Absorb Elements and Shield provide him with a variety of defenses, and more generically strong options like Stoneskin (which makes him quite resilient to physical attacks, as well as making his punches and whatnot hurt more due to the sheer durability he gains) grant him a lot of protective prowess. 7/10.
[ EFFICACY ]
■■■□□□□□□□
The power to create things out of nothing has to come from something....And that something is Owen. The reason he so freely puts on pounds and eats like garbage is because his power consumes spare energy and fat to power itself, before turning to more...Vital sources. If overtaxed, his power would eventually cause him to pass out, or worse, die outright. However, this is rarely a problem, since he actually understands how to be fairly conservative with his power. Mostly. 3/10.
[ SKILLS ]If you ever wanted to try out a tabletop, or need a way to speed your off-days in heroics, and you're into some nerdy shit (or at least willing to give it a shot), hit up Owen; he's a long-time Dungeon Master and always excited for new blood in the game.
[ EQUIPMENT ]Owen's hero gear of his Sorcerous Cowl and Elder Staff, while normally just a black cloak and a gnarly old tree root, are empowered by Imagination, and help to protect him and focus his abilities. It does look incredibly nerdy though.
Hi all. While I had NPC ideas, I FINALLY got around to making an actual character. Though this is still WIP, I'd like opinions on it before I continue:Crimson Setsuka
"...I'm here to help, NOT replace..."
[ NAME ]-Classified-
[ HERO IDENTITY ]Crimson Setsuka
[ NICKNAME/ALIAS ]Setsuka
[ AGE ]-Classified-
[ GENDER ]Machine (Female Design)
[ AFFILIATION ]East H.E.R.O. Branch, Japan
[ APPEARANCE ]Long blonde hair. Light colored skin and eyes with red pupils. More often than not, wearing a ninja garb of some colors. Usually Red if possible. She also has a garb can actually change color. Even her own apperance can be modified but that requires resources and preparation.
[ PERSONALITY TRAITS ]Although a machine and mostly quiet, it has surprisingly good people skills when not on mission or when necessary to talk to others. Always learning and being polite unless threatened. When threatened or on mission, usually talks in robotic terms unless around other team members.
[ BIO ]At first glance, one would or perhaps COULD expect Crimson Setsuka to be a normal human female with the strengh, agility and grace of a normal human athlete or perhaps past normal human limits. So many would be shocked to learn that Setsuka is actually a machine with an advanced Artifical Intelligence or A.I. for short in her metal body.
While information about Setsuka is classified by the East H.E.R.O. Japan branch, the general information that is accessable is that she was first created in response for the need of machines to help enforce the law but at the same time, the fear of "over relying" on said machines. While Setsuka's creator is unknown, the "rumor" that is being heard online is that a "child prodigy" created Setsuka and the REAL reason for her creation was to be a "mom" to her creator. While there are other rumors and stories, one thing that can't be denied is this.
Crimson Setsuka is not your every day E-Hero.
Already she has had an excellent service record. While not TOO powerful, it's Setsuka's ability to work with others, both normal and meta, that has made it stand out amonst other machines. In the east, there are some who even believe that Setsuka is a perfect example of what a E-Hero should aspire to should it have self-awareness.
Even it's favorite line, "I'm here to help, NOT replace" is infamous among eastern meta and normal humans alike. Even Setsuka's own body has some "human limitations" installed to help it better understand the "human condition" as it puts it. Others, though, see it as giving itself weaknesses should it ever go rouge. Regardless, Crimson Setsuka is a well known name even among other heroes.
However, a day came where Setsuka had to make a choice for itself.
One night at the East H.E.R.O. branch when it was in sleep mode, Setsuka had a "dream" of sorts. While her A.I. isn't human enough for it or perhaps impossible for a machine to have a dream, Setsuka felt that was the best way to describe it for a lack of better term. In it, she heard a voice...and the voice gave it an order. An order that even Setsuka felt great concern over.
"Terminate all meta humans."
She immedately reported this to it's creator come the next morning. After doing a full system check on her, nothing appeared wrong with Setsuka. None the less, Setsuka felt something. Something that would also show her a part of the human condition.
She was afraid of the order.
Seeing this, Setsuka's creator immedately reported this to the higher ranked officials. At the time, Japan as a whole wasn't fully onboard with having machines fully replacing it's HERO teams. Even more so now after this report since the "nightmare" senario with machines taking over was coming to furition. Hearing about Setsuka's "dream", now they were more than concerned.
When questioned about the details of the dream, Setsuka then said this.
"...I felt it...no...tracked it...location: west...somewhere...east coast of the U.S.A...exact source unknown..."
That's when Setsuka's creator decided on a decision as well. It was going to transfer Setsuka to the west. More ever, she was going to be the first "robot apprentice" to a well known hero of days long past. A hero who helped and survived the battles with then then ZERO organization.
K Nine aka Alpha just became a teacher to the Crimson Setsuka.
| MISCELLANEOUS |K Nine once visited Japan to support it's local law enforcement agencies to help bridge the gap between normal and meta humans. It was because of this service that high ranking heroes and even Setsuka's creator felt that K Nine would be an excellent teacher for it's trip westward. As of right now, Setsuka has not yet found the source of that "dream" she had...
Hey, whole team is back. Mind if I read along in my off time?
Also I could probably manage a character if space opens up.
<Snipped quote by DarkRecon>
Interesting concept, but there's a lot that's missing from the table right now.
- The whole powers/abilities section is absent, and that's kind of a must-have.
- The classified intel should be DMed to me and Canary. Let me know if I missed it, but I don't think I've received anything of the sort.
- HERO is not an international organization. HERO would have zero jurisdiction as to Japan's hero activity- that would belong to PHANTOM. As such, she can't just travel the globe willy-nilly.
- Again, full backstory should be DMed to me and Canary before I can accept the character.
- The entire concept of "e-Heroes" isn't clear to me, as your bio references both traditional law enforcement and hero companies as being Crimson Satsuka's employer. The former would really make her just a special forces ekop, while the latter wouldn't make much sense from a logical perspective. Hero companies employ metahumans, not robots, and robots are in fact singlehandedly weighing down the broader hero community. Hero companies would see no need to, and would in fact be STRONGLY opposed to, any form of electronic hero.
- Going by the former point's logic, it would also make zero sense why one hero company would ship what they view as a defective robot off to another continent. Wouldn't she just have been destroyed on the spot, or at least re-programmed in some way? Just saying 'here, we'll send the potentially compromised goods to another company to deal with' doesn't really make any sense.
A good idea, but there are a lot of flaws in the blueprint.
