On the outside, Jim looks like a regular human, just being tall at 5’11’’ and having a well toned athletic build. He appears to be Caucasian, with baby blue eyes, and short straw blond hair. His skin is blemish and scar free as his skin can be repaired manually as it’s artificial. The most common outfit to see Jim in his hero uniform, as it’s the only clothes he owns that are fire proof. This uniform is a one piece crimson colored suit, with gold decals of a stylized flame. When wearing something else, Jim tends to wear plain t-shirts, sweaters, or jackets. On his lower half is usually jeans or dress pants, and either dress shoes and running shoes.
Personality:
Despite not being really human, Jim has far more humanity then some people. Jim always seems to find a way to connect with others as he tends to be a people pleaser. Maybe not having to go through the pains of growing up, Jim is not jaded and has an optimistic view of the world. That is not to say that he doesn’t know pain, as he did live through the atrocities of World War II. But Jim tends to compress these negative feelings into energy used to make the world a better place. Jim is the kind of person to think that life is always getting better.
But this simple look at the world does come at a cost. Jim has never understood the more complex emotions, whether that being due to him being created or just his natural temperament. Grief is hard for him, as is love. The only true romantic relationship he’s had was with Spitfire, whose live he had just saved before they began the relationship. His idea of love is that it is perfect and forever, so he still thinks that Spitfire would love him all these decades later. While Jim is enamored with changes in technology, he doesn’t get that people can change as well.
Powers/Abilities:
Jim is an artificial human, who is close enough in body to humans that he had most of their weaknesses. His skin is not tougher, his bones can break as easily, and he can get head trauma. What does make him different is his unintended fire powers. Jim can set himself on fire at will, as fire does no damage to his body. When in this fire form, Jim can fly, shoot blasts of flame, or release bursts of heat. However, Jim’s flames abide by the rules of other flames, so water, lack of oxygen, and flame retardant chemicals can put out the fire. Another benefit of being an artificial human is that you can’t die. If Jim was deprived of oxygen, he would enter a stasis mode. In fact if Jim would ever have something happen to him that would kill a human, he merely goes into stasis.
Jim is well read, and is quite skilled as a mechanic and a pilot, always having a way with machines. He has developed a level of mastery over using his powers in combat, and has been trained in unarmed combat by Captain America. Jim is also adept at learning computer software and hardware, as he finds computers one of the coolest technologies of the current age.
History:
Created as an experiment by Prof. Phineas T. Horton, Jim was created as an attempt to create an artificial human being. While this advanced project took many years to develop, the artificial human was finished in 1939. When he was first activated, Prof. Horton was exuberant, that was until the creation caught fire. While the Professor was naturally alarmed, the construct seemed to be fine, despite being on fire. So Prof. Horton decided to start teaching the creation. Within a few weeks he became as knowledgeable as an average adult, and soon after the Professor would figure out a way to turn the fiery form on and off on the construct.
Now being able to blend in with humans, Prof. Horton began introducing the creation to the wider world. Given the name Jim Hammond, the creation was passed off as a family friend of the Professor. Jim would have an easy time making friends, eventually deciding that he wanted to become a police officer. But before that could happen, Jim’s home of New York City was attacked by Namor the Sub-Mariner. The Prince of Atlantis was mad at the surface world, so he decided to attack one of its largest cities. During the attack, Jim would jump into the fray, using his fire powers. While fighting Namor. Jim would discover that he could use his fire powers to fly. Eventually Jim fought Namor to a standstill, causing the Atlantean to retreat to the ocean.
Following this battle, Jim would be dubbed the Human Torch by the media. He became the focus of several newspapers as he was one of the first superheroes to emerge. Over the next year, Jim would build up the story of the Human Torch, fighting crime in New York City and battling the mob. But that would all change when the United States entered the second world war. Jim would be approached by the US government, who knew he was the Human Torch. They gave him the job of being a special agent in the European theater of war.
Jim would run many secret missions for America, fighting some of the strongest Nazi agents. But during this time, the secret society of Hydra would be formed. Hydra would take over all of the Nazi’s magical, scientific, and occult studies and projects. To counter this new organization, the Allies formed the Invaders, a special strike force of powered individuals. Jim would be one of the founding members of the Invaders, alongside the number one hero Captain America, and Namor, now seemingly working with the Invaders.
But the Invaders roster would soon expand as heroes like Bucky, Union Jack, and the Whizzer joined the team. But the one new member who would get close to Jim was Toro, a teenage mutant with similar fire powers to Jim. The Invaders would work together for several years, facing many Hydra operatives. This would include a case where Union Jack’s sister was bitten by a Nazi vampire. In an effort to save her life, Jim gave her an infusion of his artificial blood. This would cause a change in her, allowing her to become the hero Spitfire. She would then join the Invaders, beginning a relationship with Jim.
However, the Invaders would disband at the end of the war. Starting with the disappearance of Captain America and Bucky during a secret mission, Namor would also leave to return to Atlantis. The other members would all drop off for their own reasons, until it was just Jim and Toro. Their final mission together would be assisting the Russians in the invasion of Berlin. The two fire heroes had been tasked with capturing Hitler, and had approached his bunker. But the Fuhrer had a special guard of powered soldiers, who greatly damaged Jim. Toro would drag Jim’s body back to the American army, where he learned that he had gone into a stasis state.
Jim’s body would be stored in a secret American government warehouse. He would remain there until the later 1960’s when he was temporarily revived by Prof. Horton. The now elderly Professor had dedicated the rest of his life to reviving Jim, who now had about four months of energy. Jim wished to be a hero again, so he was recruited into SHIELD, serving under a now adult Toro. Together they protected the world for a few months, during which time Jim thought that Hydra might still be around.
But then Jim’s energy reserves ran out again, and he was placed in a SHIELD facility. But this time he would spend many decades in stasis, as the world greatly changed. Eventually in the late 2010’s, Jim would finally be revived again. A young SHIELD scientist had decided to try mixing alien Chitauri with Jim’s artificial body. This seemed to work as Jim now had an unlimited amount of energy. He would immediately seek out Toro, who was now in his nineties and living in a nursing home. The elderly man would be overjoyed to learn that his friend was back. Jim would then learn that Toro had been the former director of SHIELD. Using his contacts, Toro would get Jim reinstated in SHIELD.
Jim would also learn that his friend Captain America was also alive and leading a new team, the Avengers. Jim would also learn that there was a new hero using the name Human Torch. Not wishing to cause any confusion, Jim shortened his hero alias to just the Torch. Jim would then serve as an agent of SHIELD for several years. While interacting with British agency MI-13, he would find that one of their agents was Spitfire, now apparently immortal. But before he could rekindle the relationship, the truth of Hydra controlling SHIELD came to light.
Jim would just barely escape a massacre of clean agents. He would then find Captain America and help him take down Hydra. While the heroes were successful in defeating Hydra, it also meant that SHIELD was no longer a thing. But when Captain America decided to expand the Avengers into a global peacekeeping organization, Jim was one of his first recruits. Now Jim has been given a room at the Avengers Mansion, where he is ready to serve alongside a team of other Avengers.
Supporting Cast:
Thomas Raymond aka Toro - A mutant who served alongside Jim in WWII. At one point he was Director of SHIELD. Currently lives in a nursing home.
Steve Rogers aka Captain America - Stalwart ally of Jim during the war. Helped him accustom to modern day, and recruited him into the Avengers.
Jacqueline Falsworth aka Spitfire - Sister of Invader member Union Jack. Gained powers after a blood transfusion from Jim. She and Jim dated during WWII. Revealed to be immortal and alive in modern day.
Namor aka the Sub-Mariner - The first powered individual Jim fought. They served together in the war. He is now King of Atlantis and considered a potential threat by the Avengers.
Extra/Notes:
I’m playing Jim very similar to his 616 version, but this version hasn’t gone through as much, so he still is optimistic. I also want to explore what it means to be an artificial human, mostly through his relationships with others.
Personality: Kairi has a rebellious attitude and tends to be headstrong, She usually works better alone and doesn't do well with authority. She isnt very hard to get along with, so long as you dont get on her bad side. She's still young at heart, one can find her often eating candy or gaming, or jammin out to music. Powers/Abilities: No powers except a high tolerance to radiation, poisons, toxic gasses, and nuclear energy. James Rayne served several years in the U.S. Navy Seals, whom has often given her lessons in self defense, even taught her to use a gun properly at the age of sixteen. Her mother Dr.Nyla Rayne served as a Feild Medic in the Army, she too has given her daughter essentail medical knowledge and what to do in first response. Kairi's school years weren't the best, she hung around the punks and rockers, whom became a bad influence on her. Her grades began to fall and she started using drugs recreationally, all up to her arrest at eighteen. Luckily her father put her into boot camp in hopes to straighten her out. Her time there was not wasted, she excelled well and even climbed the ranks, her skills grew rapidly and before she knew it, Kairi was an elite member of the Military's Covert Ops. Unfortunately during a stakeout for an intel mission in Russia, Kairi and her team infiltrated a Nuclear Power Plant gather as much information as they could, then the bomb went off. Russian Operatives knew of Covert Operation and set Kairi and her team a trap. She barely survived, but she was definitely different, super human in a way. Once the Military got her back, they sent her at a S.H.I.E.L.D. Medical Facility where she was brought back to good health and offered a position as an agent. Supporting Cast: Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) After Kairi arrived, Romanoff was to oversee her rehabilitation and training, after all Romanoff knew more about Kairi's incident than anybody else. Kairi had eveloped some skills through Romanoff and has did a few missions along side Romanoff. Through her Kairi had proven herself a valuable asset to S.H.E.I.L.D. That is until Hydra incident began, as a result of careful planning and her Toxic resilience, Kairi put the S.H.E.I.L.D outpost she was stationed at out of operations by flooding the whole facility with toxic gas using a timed toxic smoke bombs placed in the air vents before disappearing from the scene. She hid underground for a while before finally being found by Black Widow who somehow kept tabs on her. Romanoff then helped Kairi get into the Avengers, through time and high recommendation. The in-between, Romanoff made sure Kairi was in peak condition with more advanced training. Extra/Notes: She has a hard time breathing withouth her gasmask thats modified to feed her oxygen from a small gas canister clipped to the back of her ultility belt. She can only last a few minutes detached from it before gasping for air and losing consciousness.
Appearance: Peter stands at 5’11 with an athletic body type. Caucasian with dark brown hair and similar brown eyes. His body is adorned with many scars from the many years of fighting crime. Sporting a beard and mustache that covers most of his face. Some grey hairs are starting to form in his hair and beard. Peter only uses his glasses while reading or when he needs to look at something up close. His civilian outfit is comprised of a blue suit with a white dress shirt and red tie. His superhero outfit is a black variant of his old suit, the spider symbol being red. White thin lines cover most of his suit.
Personality: After many years of fighting crime, Peter is wiser and more level-headed than he was in his youth. Keeping a cool almost serious demeanour while dealing with criminals, of course he is still known to crack a few jokes at their expense once in a while. Instead of fighting criminals and sending them to prison, his new mission in life is to help rehabilitate them. Showing more compassion and empathy with those he is fighting. But is not afraid to get rough with villains that he thinks are irredeemable. Or using his knowledge in Psychology to scare criminals. Being a family man, he is good with children and is protective of his daughter and other children. Peter is constantly fighting his dark side, struggling to do good and not break his golden rule of not killing others.
History: Peter Parker was just a regular high schooler, but all of that changed when was bitten by a radioactive spider while on a school trip. Gaining the abilities of a Spider, deciding after his Uncle Ben was killed to become a superhero. During the many decades of being a hero, he had gone through many epic battles and tragedies. Not being able to save Gwen Stacy from the Green Goblin, the death of his former friend and enemy Harry Osborn, the death of his Aunt May. Despite all of this Peter was kept from the darkness by Mary Jane and the friends around him. During this time he was invited to join the Avengers by Captain America after he had seen him save NYC from Doc Ock. Working well with the Avengers with saving the world from total destruction. Finding out that Hydra was controlling S.H.I.E.L.D, Peter quit being a S.H.I.E.L.D member and retired as being Spiderman to get his Ph.D.
After getting his psychology degree he took up the mantle of Spiderman once again, After being convinced by Daredevil. When he started being Spiderman once again, his marriage was starting to fracture. Finally leading to Mary Jane divorcing him and taking their child with her. This lead to Peter drinking heavily and becoming severely depressed. Peter stopped drinking thanks to Tony Stark, who brought him to A.A. Soon he became the head psychologist of Ravencroft Insitute, his goal in life trying to rehabilitate super villains.
Supporting Cast: Maybelle Gwendolyne Parker- His and Mary Jane's daughter who supports him as Spiderman and as a psychologist.
Iron Man- His benefactor that helps fund Ravencroft.
Daredevil- His partner while fighting crime in New York.
Steve Rogers- Mentor of Peter’s and the one that invited him to join The Avengers.
Personality: Bold, stubborn to a fault and incredibly honest. Carol prefers to push the boundaries slightly before reigning it in and choosing a different path to go down. After going through a slight identity crisis after realizing that she had powers and was part Kree, she realized her path in life while going through the universe, protecting those that are unable to protect themselves since Earth already had the mighty Avengers.
Powers/Abilities: Flight, energy blasters (From hands), super strength, superhuman durability
History: Carol always had a vision of flying through the air, at the helm, and in control. Unfortunately when she had that dream, women working in the United States Air Force wasn't exactly common, and those who did weren't exactly accepted. It was incredibly hard, working her way through the ranks, through the hazing, and through the constant questions from everyone except her mentor and her best friend. Those two were the only ones that saw Carol for who she was- a fighter.
As her time with the USAF continued, things got a little easier until one specific mission with her mentor that ended in a life changing event. Thanks to an unexpected crash, and explosion, a mystery energy source transformed Carol into a half half human, half alien race hybrid of a being. Now she had abilities that were- extraordinary to say the least! She was half Kree, giving her amazing super strength and an ability to be incredibly durable in a dangerous situation. But she also gained the ability to fly and throw energy blasts from her fists thanks to the Tesseract. Now she knew what it was, and what it was, and what it did to her.
Next came her introduction to S.H.I.E.L.D., and to Nick Fury who helped her through a transition of sorts, and in his own way of course. Let's just say that they mutually helped each other figure some things out before Carol realized that Earth was going to be left in good hands, and she needed to help those that were far less fortunate around the universe. And that she did- being sure to stop home every few years to cure a rare case of being a little homesick.
Supporting Cast: Captain America: After the evolution of The Avengers and her ongoing friendship with Nick Fury, Carol realized that she probably should befriend the behemoth in red, white and blue. After realizing that they had more than expected in common, an unlikely friendship formed between Carol and Steve. The Avengers: Steve introduced Carol to the rest of the gang and she did not hit it off with everyone- a bit of a personality clash to be honest. But after helping them more than once, they realized that she had more information and wisdom to give them that they realized and gained a new intergalactic friend. The Falcon + Bucky: This was an unlikely pairing, but since they knew Steve well, she tended to drop in every so often to see how the interesting duo was holding up and to playfully trash talk one to the other. Plus she always thought the arm was pretty cool. Marie Danvers (mom): Mom. Mother. Marie was always her biggest cheerleader and someone that Carol leaned on for advice, even from another universe. She always talked about her mother with a small smile on her face, knowing that one day she would outlive her, and everyone else that she held dear.
Extra/Notes: Her haircut resembles the one that she has in Avengers Endgame more than the longer style in the comics.
Real Name: William “Billy” Kaplan Codename: Wiccan Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Billy has always been a nerd. He has been a fan of all sorts of forms of entertainment. He adores superheroes. He often gets excited about stuff related to stuff that interests him. Billy is generally optimistic and happy go lucky. Even when he was being bullied, he tried his best not to let it bog him down too much.
Billy is a bit of a hard-head. More often than not, he'll run into a dangerous situation with little more than a half-baked plan and a hope that things will come out okay. He's passionate about what he believes in, and becomes disappointed whenever a hero he's idolized doesn't live up to expectations.
Powers/Abilities: Wiccan’s powers are extensive, unpredictable, powerful, possibly mutant, and most definitely magical. Typically, his abilities manifest as electrokinetic energy from his hands, which Wiccan can manipulate in numerous ways—both offensively and defensively. Wiccan can also teleport himself and his teammates over long distances, fly, create objects from thin air, levitate objects, project force, energy, ice, heat, and fire, and create force fields and other solid energy objects
History: The Avengers Vision and Scarlet Witch once had twin children. This was an extraordinary occurrence, considering Vision is a synthetic being and Scarlet Witch is a chaos magician. Unfortunately for the couple, the children were undone. Still they were eventually reincarnated as regular people.
Billy was born the eldest of 3 sons, to parents Jeff and Rebecca Kaplan. When he was young, Billy realized he was gay, and so took a lot of abuse from classmates. After getting into a fight with some bullies, Billy has an encounter with the Scarlet Witch. She heals him, and tells him to stand up for himself.
That’s exactly what he did the next time he had a run in with that same bully. Unluckily for him, the electrokinetic aspect of Billy’s powers manifested, and the bully was nearly killed.
After that incident, Billy began to practice his magic powers, and wished to find Wanda again, to whom he felt a special connection. He believes she may have activated something in him when she healed his injuries that day. Unfortunately for him, this was around the time the Avengers disbanded after it was revealed that Hydra was in control of SHIELD.
That didn’t last too long. He was soon approached by Captain America. He had recruited him to join a New Avengers Initiative. How on Earth Captain America knew who he was, Billy did not know, but he wasn’t complaining. After he graduated from high school, he moved in to the old Avengers Mansion. There were some heroes he recognized, and some he didn’t. Including one boy who looked almost exactly like him but with white hair. He didn’t know what was up with that.
Supporting Cast: Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff: His “mother” he doesn’t know that yet though. Scarlet Witch is by far his favorite superhero, and he idolizes her.
Vision: His “father” kind of…
Teddy Altman/Hulkling: Billy’s crush and his closest friend on the team.
Extra/Notes:
Real Name: Thomas “Tommy” Shepherd Codename: Speed Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance:
Personality: As is typical of a Speedster, Tommy has a hard time sitting still. He thinks the world moves too slow, and is waiting for everyone else to catch up with him. He is reckless, and arrogant and likes to show off whenever he has the chance. He tends to shoot first and ask quest later.
He's incredibly cynical about relationships and friendships lasting. Nonetheless, there is nothing more than Tommy wants to be loved. He will be loyal to someone when he finally learns to trust them, and he will never hesitate to do something that he deems right.
Tommy is incredibly worried about failing and disappointing people he admires or respects. As a result, he will often push himself past his limits and sometimes needs to be stopped from harming himself.
Powers/Abilities: Tommy is a speedster. This means that he can run at speeds that a normal human would never achieve. His top speed is unknown, but he is fast enough to break the soundbarrier and run over water. His body is made in a way that allows him to endure frictions that would flail anyone else alive and bones that are made not to shatter in a collision at high speed. That doesn't mean he is invulnerable; a bullet at any speed could kill him.
Besides running fast, Tommy also functions incredibly fast. He can do things at speed nobody else can and has a brain to match them. His brain is made to function at incredible speeds that allow him to catch all the details during a run. This also means he can read a book in mere seconds and remember everything he has read.
A major setback to his powers is that all this has left Tommy with a skewed perception of time. What might be minutes for somebody is hours for him and it is both incredibly frustrating and lonely for him.
History: Tommy was born to Frank and Mary Shepherd in New Jersey. His parents divorced when he was barely four years old. Tommy lived mostly with his father after his mother rejected him, believing him not to be her son due to the fact that he barely resembled his parents with his striking white hair and green eyes. Tommy spent most of his childhood getting into trouble; he could barely sit still for longer than five minutes and was often bullied for this and his unnatural hair color. Frank got a girlfriend who was anti-mutant and felt Tommy was one and they often fought. Frank often took her side and disapproved of all Tommy's accomplishments or lack thereof.
He often got into trouble, and was in and out of juvenile hall for various things. His powers manifested when he was thirteen year old. He was in school when it happened and lost control over his powers instantly, blowing up the math class. Tommy was sent to a superjuvenile hall because of his record as troublemaker and the fact that he was a mutant.
Superjuvie was not a good time for Tommy. There was a lack of adherence to basic human rights. Tommy's parents never came for him, even though they were informed, leaving Tommy bitter and angry with parental figures. Scientists took an interest in a speedster with an ability to blow things up and Tommy was poked and prodded like an animal as they tried to turn him into a weapon. He had been there for months, before being paid a visit by Captain America.
He wasn’t judgemental, and didn’t treat him like some kind of criminal. He would be released from the facility, under the condition that he would serve on the new Avengers initiative. Between that and jail, the choice was obvious. So, he moved into the old Avengers Mansion. There were a bunch of other people there, including another boy who looked exactly like him, but with black hair. Weird…
Supporting Cast: Mostly the same as Billy’s. Hulkling was also in the same Superjuvie that Tommy was in. Extra/Notes:
Aliases: Iron Fist, Thunderer, Immortal Weapon of K'un Lun, Danny
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance: Danny is 5'11" tall, weighs 175 lbs, and has blond hair and blue eyes. A large stylized dragon is tattooed on his chest.
Personality: Early in his career, Danny was motivated solely by seeking revenge on his parents' killer. After becoming friends with Luke Cage and Misty Knight, his heart gradually softened. Danny has a strong sense of loyalty and duty to his friends, as well as a fun-loving streak. A consummate martial artist, Danny views each challenge he faces as a personal test and treats his enemies with respect. Danny is also extremely bad with money, and is prone to making impulse purchases. Danny's outgoing, happy-go-lucky attitude covers up a fear of being ostracized and isolated. He greatly values the time he spends with his best friend, Luke Cage, but Luke's wife and daughter has put a wedge in their relationship, and Danny fears being left out.
Powers/Abilities: Even without the power of the Iron Fist, Danny is one of the most skilled martial artists on Earth. At 19 he exceeded all other students in his class, and as his final exam he had to slay a dragon with his bare hands. After being granted the power of the Iron Fist, he gained the ability to manipulate chi. At first, his power to manipulate chi was very limited. He could only channel his chi into his fists, and the effort was extremely taxing. As he has grown in experience, his powers have expanded. He can channel chi to enhance his speed, strength, and durability, as well as project energy, heal himself, see and touch spirits, levitate, and perform a tactile form of telekinesis.
History: As a child, Daniel Rand was taken with his father Wendell, his mother Heather, and his father's business partner Harold Meachum on a quest in the Himalayas to find the city of K'un Lun, which was reputed to hold to appear once every ten years, and held the secret of immortality. Meachum betrayed the Rands and left them for dead. Wendell and Heather perished, but Danny was found and adopted by the people of K'un Lun. The next 10 years of his life were devoted to studying martial arts. After earning the mantle of the Iron Fist, Danny left K'un Lun to seek revenge. Seeking out Meachum in New York, Danny found him a remorseful invalid. Danny abandoned his quest for vengeance, but couldn't avoid being framed for Meachum's untimely death shortly thereafter. While in New York, Danny formed friendships with other vigilantes, namely Power Man and The Daughters of The Dragon. They banded together to form the company known as Heroes For Hire.
Since then, Danny has fought shoulder-to-shoulder with some of most illustrious and the most obscure heroes in the Marvel Universe. Currently, he lives in a penthouse suite provided by his Rand Industries trust fund and is training his young apprentice Pei to be the next Iron Fist, with himself having been granted the title of "Thunderer". At the same time, he is trying to wrangle the newest incarnation of Shou-Lao, the immortal dragon, as well as all his previous incarnations, who have all suddenly been resurrected in the heart of New York City.
The reveal of Hydra's infiltration of SHIELD was shocking to him, but Danny has always been a "punch first, ask questions later" kind of guy, and his adventures rarely had anything to do with the organization, so while he jumped (literally) at the chance to fight Hydra goons, his life has gone on virtually unchanged. He is excited to be included in the new Avengers team.
Allies: Danny still has close ties with the original members of Heroes For Hire: Coleen Wing, Misty Knight, Luke Cage, and Paladin. Currently, Danny and Misty are estranged ex-lovers. Danny is Luke Cage's best friend, and is known as "Uncle Danny" by Luke's daughter, Danielle. Danny and Paladin have never been friends, but they have been able to put aside their differences to work together.
In K'un Lun, Danny is held in high esteem as a hero and a champion of martial arts. He was also childhood friends with K'un Lun's current leader, Sparrow. Danny is also a member of the fraternity known as The Immortal Weapons, each of whom is a master of their own style of martial arts, equal to the Iron Fist in their own communities. Though their paths do not often cross, Danny counts other martial arts-based heroes, such as Shang-Chi and White Tiger, as allies.
Danny has had more than his fair share of trouble with the law, having fought on the anti-registration side in the Superhero Civil War, and joined the outlaw New Avengers. Despite this, he was later invited to joint the reformed Avengers, which at the time had its largest roster ever.
Danny is currently raising Pei, a young female monk from K'un Lun. She is the youngest person to ever wield the power of the Iron Fist, and is already proving to be a natural. He also became romantically involved with Brenda Swanson, the daughter of Harold Meachum (it's complicated). However, she left him after being torn between her desire to avenge her father's death, and her growing feelings for Danny. It is unknown when, if ever, she will return.
Enemies: Danny has fought against numerous secret martial arts societies as well as common criminals. Due to the often deadly nature of martial arts, many of them have not survived. His most dangerous foe, however, is Davos. Davos is the envious son of Lei-Kung, Danny's mentor. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Notes: This version of the character is basically the same as at the end of Iron Fist, The Living Weapon, ignoring any development of the character since then.
Appearance: Gwen stands at 5’5 with a sleek athletic build. She is a white American woman with blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Her body is quite toned despite her size and riddled with scars from the many fights she has gone through. She does have some tattoos, one of the Mary Janes band logo on her thigh and a small spider on the spot the spider that turned her into spider-woman had bitten. She tends to have very relaxed posture and does have a slight slouch. Gwen's suit is very interesting, as when not in her symbiote form, it is her classic spider-woman suit. Dawning bright colors, it had the base color of white with a hood. The space under her armpits were pink with white webbing, as was the inside of her hood. To round it off, spider symbol on her chest was teal and the legs snaked to a point on her back.
Personality: Despite fighting many battles, many high stakes and many low stakes fights, Gwen is still a young hero. She is prone to losing her temper or jumping the gun if she feels necessary and it has unfortunately gotten her into a lot trouble. She has experienced many forms of maturing moments but her inability to to move past things, pushes her to act rashly, in an attempt to be better then she was in the past. Aside from as a hero, Gwen is the living embodiment of punk rock. She loves music and is a drummer herself, it being one of her favorite past times. She has a passé attitude about authority, something she is attempting to work on, on account of becoming an Avenger. Though, through the tough girl act exterior, is a woman who wants to help, be a hero that people can rely on. She has a soft spot for the weak and venerable and has an unfortunate habit of stopping on the way to important events to help out. Gwen also happens to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder, as she was considered a criminal for the death of her Universe's Peter Parker and Killed Her Universe's Harry Osborn, who had become the Green Goblin. Now in this universe that she mught permanently be stuck in, she vowed to do better then she did before. To be the best, not because it was cool, but because it was her responsibility.
Powers/Abilities: Spider Sense, Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Speed, Superhuman Stamina, Superhuman Durability, Superhuman Agility, Superhuman Reflexes, Superhuman Equilibrium, Wall Crawling, Skilled Detective and extensive understanding of the police system, Musician, Symbiote Abilities include Emotional Strength, Invisibility, and Body augmentation (the symbiote amplifies its hosts emotions, removing their inhibitions and making them impulsive and aggressive if they feed it negative emotions. Even after Gwen learns how to control it, if she is feeling particularly angry the symbiote will transform into her Venom form to reflect this).
History:
Gwen Stacy was born in Forest Hills to George and Helen Stacy in the Universe-65. Following her mother's death, she was raised by George alone, the new City Police Chief. Gwen's free spirit and artistic inclinations often put her at odds with the type of ethics her father worked to instill. As a result of this contrast with her father, Gwen would often retreat into quiet seclusion and play the drums. Over time, she developed a friendship with her neighbor and fellow introvert Peter Parker, sharing their love for music. At Midtown High School, Gwen developed relationships with other students, a group of girls with whom she formed the band, The Mary Janes, and rebellious affluent student Harry Osborn. After being bitten by a genetically-engineered spider, Gwen was granted arachnid-like super-powers, and started a part-time career as a crimefighter, dubbed by the media as "Spider-Woman." She was given a costume and a set of web-shooters by retired crimefighter Janet van Dyne. Gwen spent most of her early adventures focused on exploiting and maintaining her newfound attention more than helping those in need; however, Gwen's behavior changed after her father expressed he believed Spider-Woman could easily help people.
All of this was culminated into one moment, when Gwen was forced to make a choice between saving a burning apartment building and making the Mary Janes first headlining show. Ultimately saving the dozens of people and helping the fire crew put out the fire. However in turn, inadvertently ruining the Mary Janes big debut, and almost getting them dropped from their record label. The band would make the decision to drop Gwen, and thus began Gwen's switch into the full time profession of being a superhero. And it would continue on this way, still going to her old bands shows, they weren't on speaking terms, but she was happy to see their success. Deciding to go to college with Peter and Harry, it was there that she began to get to comfortable with her double life. Do to her being busy, she wasn't able to see the trio's crumbling relationship. Both of the men would begin to become toxic with their obsession of Spider-Woman, envying her power in different ways. For Peter, he envied the freedom and popularity spider-woman had, the lack of becoming Peter Parker dooming him to forever be the meek, glasses wearing nerd. While Harry wanted the power that Spider-Woman had, thinking of all the things he could accomplish with just a sliver of her power.
And both men's path began to divert off the deep end, both using their respective resources to begin their own path to what they wanted. Peter would work with largely discredited Dr. Olivia Octavius, to find a way to bridge the gap between technology and mind. While Harry would use one of many Oscorps R&D Blacksites in attempts to create powers similar to that of Gwens. All the while both would appear cheery and happy when the three would hang out. It wasn't until the end of the school year, that Gwen began to notice how frequently the two skipped class. Not only that, but the two began to look drained, bags under their eyes, they seemed almost sickly. And worrying about her childhood best friends, she made the choice to follow Peter first. Coming to a laboratory on the outskirts of the city, it was there that Gwen would witness in horror, Olivia injecting nanites into Peter's body. It seemed as if his body had been undergoing this seemingly painful procedure a hand full of times, his Torso riddled with Metal Flesh scars. Unsure of how to handle this discovery, Gwen turned to Harry, hoping he was simply just off being a snobby rich kid. But he too would shock her, after finding he was attempting a similar procedure, instead using what appeared to be genetically manipulated Wasps to try and alter himself.
Stuck on her own, she turned to the only person she felt she could trust. A young kid named Reed Richards, who was known as the Forefront of the future in technology and science. Asking him to look into what the two were doing, she would come to find they were both attempting to give themselves powers to achieve different things. Opting to talk to them both as Gwen instead of confronting them as Spider-Woman, she naively thought she could talk them out of their crazy actions if she made them confess too her. And so she did, a couple nights later when the two were over watching movies. It was painfully quiet as the two now seemed to talk less and less in the timespan she had last seen them. Slowly bringing up that she felt something was off with the three, she attempted to coax out the truth from the two. But neither budged, saying it was just her imagination, but this angered Gwen. What was suppose to be a simple talk, escalated into a shouting match, until the accident happened. Harry in a stroke of rage would push Gwen, the argument both hitting a crescendo and an instantaneous stop, followed by immediate shock from all three of them. Both the mens bodies would begin to finally react to their experiments as their stress peaked, falling to the ground in pain and agony. Peter would then become this universes Dr.Octopus, his arms made of nanomachines implanted in his brain and body, while Harry would turn into a twisted hybrid of a wasp and grotesque green skinned human, becoming this universes Green Goblin.
The three would fight an intense building, Peter attempting to kill Harry, while Harry attempted to kill Spider-Woman in his confused twisted mental state, destroying multiple city blocks in its wake. The two would eventually flee with major injuries, leaving Gwen to try and fix their destruction. As a result however, she became the cities scapegoat for the damages and deaths, despite her trying her hardest during the battle to save the people in the three's path. Following that day, the publics opinion of Spider-Woman plummeted as every time Gwen would catch up to either Peter or Harry, sometimes both, the same result would happen. Not to mention J. Jonah Jameson and his podcast cult following slandering her any chance they could. Her world seemed to uncontrollably nosedive in the matter of a couple months. What was once a city that loved Spider-Woman, the peoples champion she had been called, was now hunted not only by the Police, but the citizens themselves. She still had her supporters, but she would often get attacked in the street by an angry mob. All the while Peter and Harry would wreak havoc all over New York. The two become determined to kill the other, Harry for Peter getting in his way of killing Spider-Woman. Peter on the other-hand was trying to protect Spider-Woman, figuring out she was Gwen after the first time they battled. Though often to the determent of innocent people, he only wanted to protect the woman he had loved since highschool.
Then after a year of the city falling to chaos as Gwen began to stop fighting crime and focus on capturing Harry and Peter, Harry would cross a line that couldn't be uncrossed. Luring Peter and Spider-Woman into a trap in the sewers of NYC. Goblin would use the one-sided fight of Gwen against Peter as the man tried to convince her he was on her side, despite killing dozens of innocent and contributing to the chaos of the city. Harry would attempt to sting Gwen in her heart, her spider-sense letting her move out of the way. Peter, however, was both unknowing and unable to move out of the way. Struck through his heart, Harry laughed maniacally as Peter coughed up blood. Removing the stinger and flying away, Gwen caught the dying man, attempting to seal his heart wound with her webs. The hole in his chest would result in Peter Parker's death moments later. Blowing up the ceiling above them, Harry attempted to flee, while burying the two under the street. Gwen pulling both herself and Peter out of the rubble, citizens almost instantly began filming her holding the mans body. Knowing this was only going to make it worse for her, she chased after Harry, catching him at an abandoned railroad. While before she was pulling her punches, the death of Peter Parker sent Gwen into a blind rage, her strength overwhelming Harry, who underestimated the woman's rage. Ripping his wings off so he couldn't escaped, Gwen beat Harry Osbourne to death, only realizing he stopped breathing after trying to ask him why he killed Peter. Never taking a life before, Gwen was horrified fleeing the scene in tears.
Of course unknown to Gwen, the security footage of her fight and eventually killing of Harry Osbourne was leaked to J.Jonah Jameson and by proxy the whole world. Thus began the worldwide manhunt for Spider-Woman. During this time, Gwen stopped being Spider-woman for two years, deciding that Peter and Harry's death could have been avoided if she had never put on the costume. It wasn't until her father sat her down and told her that he knew she was Spider-Woman, and that the city needed her more then ever in her absence. However to their surprise, the two would be visited by a team of Spider-Hero's lead by Spider-UK, looking to recruit Gwen for an upcoming battle that involved the many different Spider-Totems (People connected to the Master Weaver through their Spider Powers) called the "Great-Hunt". A monster like being named Morlun and his family fought and seized control of the Master Weaver, using their ability to travel across the multiverse and kill Spider-Totems one by one. She was sent on a mission of retrieving a Peter Parker who had lost his mind to the spider abilities. Through a journey of twist and turns, Gwen would help save the multiverse from Morlun and his family. She also would learn about the many different Spider-Totems and gain many new allies across the universe, as well as technology in the form of a watch that allowed her to jump to different universes when she wanted.
In her months long absense, Matt Murdock, who had previously been a underling of Kingpin, and leader of the Hand, had usurped the big man and taken New York into his iron grip. While people feared the Kingpin, the city dreaded the cunning and ruthless blind man. With a new sense of purpose post-Great Hunt, Gwen wanted to do better, not only for herself, but for Peter and Harry's memory. And thus began her on and off fight against Matt Murdock and S.I.L.K, a terrorist organization that had even the Kingpin himself under their thumb. It wouldn't be until she turned 23 that another change in pace would happen for her. In a long winded plan, spanning many years, the Cindy Moon of her universe finally revealed her plan. Setting Gwen and her father up, she forced Gwen to make the choice between being Spider-woman and saving her father. Cindy revealed that she was the one that made the spider that bit Gwen all those years ago, and using the same serum, developed and Anti-venom that would get rid of her powers. Choosing to save her father, Gwen ultimately lost her powers for a year, and lost her universe jumping watch to Cindy Moon. Having walked well away from crime-fighting, one night while she was jogging, she was ambushed by Esmerelda Brock, or rather She-Venom. Getting saved by the Punisher, she inadvertently touched a part of the girls symbiote. Venom immediately latched onto the woman and Gwen would black out. Coming too at the top of the Empire State Building, she would find that she once again had her powers back, with a little spice so to speak.
Intoxicated with having her powers back, she would drop her title as Spider-Woman and thus would be known as Ghost-Spider, a ruthless superhero known for having a hot temper and short fuse. What use to be quipping jokes, was turning into threats and anger. The Spider-woman that pulled her punches was for the time being replaced by the Venom corrupted Gwen. It wouldn't be until she found herself arguing with her Father about her recent actions as Ghost-Spider and she had the sudden urge to eat her father, that Gwen realized Venoms corruption. Running away, Gwen snuck into the Mary Janes recording studio, where she would use the power of punk-rock to separate herself from the symbiote. Before forcing it into submission with electric drums blasting off multiple speakers. Gaining the aliens respect, the two left the studio, but unaware to Gwen, the symbiote had accidentally left a piece of itself behind. That would later find its way to Mary Jane who stopped by the studio by herself to work on some music. It was here that the birth of the monster Carnage was born. Mary Jane's hidden emotions rising to the surface and taking the corruption of Venom to a new level. She would become Gwen's most dangerous villain, in a span of a few days racking up a kill count of a couple hundred, the city would be placed on lock down in fear of this new Red goo Monster. Though the connection that Venom had with Gwen, Mary Jane hard learned the secrets of Gwen and became blinded by her rage and hatred for Gwen leaving the band and walking away from their friendship. Going for Gwen's father, she nearly killed the man until Gwen intercepted her, the twos fight spanning the whole city. Hours of fighting and chasing each other, eventually culminated in the two fighting at MSG, where Gwen used the sound system to separate Carnage from Mary Jane and destroy them.
Mary Jane would turn herself in, permanently scared by Carnage both physically and mentally. She would be unable to play music ever again and suffered short-term memory loss. Her only memories of Gwen being from highschool, MJ treated Gwen like a friend again, completely forgetting the bands break up, or any of Gwen's secrets. After the event of Carnage, Gwen then would begin to form a friendship with Venom, teaching it how to be a proper hero, though sometimes not always ending up this way. In the following year and a half, Venom and Gwen had developed an unbreakable bond, finding family in each other. They moved as one cohesive unit and together they began to track down Cindy Moon. With this new and improved version of Spider-Woman, the two naively believed they could match up to the brilliant villain. After months of following breadcrumbs, they came across a secret underground S.I.L.K base, where once inside and sneaking past many guards and soldiers, found themselves in front of an enormous gateway. WIth no sign of Cindy, Gwen attempted to find out what exactly this giant machine was. Until the alarms rang and the room flooded with S.I.L.K agents, Cindy Moon clapping condescendingly. Gwen would once again blindly fallen into yet another trap, Cindy impressed with the woman's new look. Gloating to Gwen, Cindy thanked her for the watch, saying she got so much use out of it. Gwen putting the pieces together, realized the gateway was simply a bigger version of the watch, a door big enough to transport a whole army. Taunting the woman, Gwen attempted to fight back, but Cindy bid her a farewell, signaling to turn the gateway on. Leaving as an army of goons began to slowly back her towards the gateway. Unable to escape and facing death, Gwen made the choice to jump through the gateway, deciding wherever was on the otherwise was better then getting the shit kicked out of her.
And this is essentially how she came to be in this Universe, with no way back home, she did attempt to look around for a familiar face. But she quickly realized this Universe seemed largely unaffected by the events of the Great Hunt, so it was unlikely she would find anyone that she would recognize and vice versa. Trapped in this new universe, Gwen sort of decided to start fresh for many different reasons. If she could gather allies here, she could tell them about her universe's Cindy Moon and S.I.L.K having a multiversal portal, with access to anywhere and any time. She also wasn't considered a criminal and public menace in the way she was back in her home universe. It was a nice change of pace, and she kind of welcomed a do over in a way. So she began to slowly surface in the hero scene, doing just enough to not cause big enough waves for Spider-Man to come and investigate. She was unsure of how to handle meeting Peter Parker. She had read that this Universes version of her had died from a Spider-Man related incident, so she could only assume Peter would assume she's a bad guy pretending to be Gwen Stacy or a clone, both judgements possibly leading to the hero community attempting to hunt her down. However this would all be for naught, as she was approached by Nick Fury after inadvertently recovering stolen Shield Technology from some medium level thief's. Getting caught on Fury's radar effectively thrusted her into the Hero community tenfold, working with Fury a hand full of times before he asked if she would be interested in joining the Unlimited Initiative. After hearing about her Universe's Cindy Moon, and getting to work with her first hand, he said this could be a good thing for her. Befitting both parties to gain allies and to be able to work with Cap if Cindy ended up showing up in this Universe. Thus is her beginning on the Avengers team.
Supporting Cast: Nick Fury - Currently her biggest ally on this universe, she had originally been hired to help Fury wrap up some loose ends regarding stolen shield technology. Though Shield was no more, Fury saw Gwen's potential and saw a potentially good addition to Cap's New Avengers. He also is currently the only person who knows Gwen's identity and her situation. Helping both Cap and herself, Fury is the reason Cap considered Ghost-Spider for the team despite not knowing her true identity.
Personality:Thor is a spirited warrior who has a strong belief in doing the right thing and protecting all innocent people within the nine realms. He loves a good battle & craves the glory of engaging with powerful enemies both for the love of fighting & the end result of defeating evil threats. He is the epitome of bravery leaping or flying head-first into danger without thought or concern for himself only those he aims to protect. He's very loyal to all he considers friends, and is ruthless when it comes to dealing with foes. Outside of his work as an avenger & asgardian prince both of which he takes very seriously, he enjoys mingling with people. He's very social and when not fighting aliens, androids, criminal superhumans & monsters he can be found drinking merrily with comrades & strangers alike. He has a very special fondness for midgard, especially it's women & can be a romantic when in relationships.
Powers/Abilities: Thor is a powerful being inherting powers from both sides of his parentage, those being Odin & the earth mother Gaea. He is known as both the asgardian god of thunder & asgardian god of strength. --Superhuman Strength --Superhuman Speed --Superhuman Durability --Superhuman Agility & Reflexes --Eternal Longevity --Weather Manipulation --Flight --Super Breath --All Speak --Earth Manipulation {{Inherited from Gaea}} --Portal Generation {w/Mjolnir] --Energy Projection & Absorption {{w/Mjolnir}} --God Blasts {{w/Mjolnir}} --Odinforce Manipulation
History: Thor was born as a child of Odin & Gaea with a great destiny ahead of himself. From a young age he was raised to be upright & moral something that was instilled into him by Odin & his adoptive mother Frigga. The truth about his mother was kept hidden from him by Odin who'd moved on from Gaea both because of the fire of their relationship thinning out & some questionable moral choices she's made in her dealings with the titans & the olympian gods. He developed a taste for combat & battle at a young age, going on quests as early as his teenage years with Lady Sif, Valkyrie & the Warriors Three to quell evil beings & threats to the natural order of the realms.
One realm which he fell in love with upon first sight was that of Midgard, or what humans would come to know as earth. In the older days of humanity during his ventures to the realm of man him, his father & his people came to be worshipped by the Vikings as the gods of nordic mythology. They praised the gods for their many good deeds when present on earth fighting off frost giants, trolls & other supernatural beasts that had clawed their way to the earth hoping to enslave & rule over humanity. These escapades on earth only bolstered his popularity among the vikings & cemented his place as one of the most popular gods of the nordic pantheon among the vikings & others who came to worship him during his visitors to earth in earlier/ancient times.
Eventually in modern times due to the manipulations of his jealous mischievous adopted brother Loki & his own hot headedness he was coerced into clashing with Odin over their policies in reining in order over the realms. Thor's attitude was that of swinging his mystic hammer raining down lightning first, asking questions later. Egged on by Loki to continue his path of might makes right over Odin's instructions culminated in him receiving divine retribution in the form of godly punishment from his father.
He was stripped off his godhood & banished to earth as a mortal, cast down to his beloved midgard alongside his hammer. There he was given the guise of Donald Blake, and purged of his memories of divinity. He went on to become complete his doctorate & became a medical doctor opting to save lives in a different manner then he did as a hero. Thus despite his lack of powers & memories he still chose a path in life that led to him saving lives. In one such case he was selected to operate on an injured Spiderman after he had a climatic battle with the sinister six. He was part of a group of doctors who followed an unspoken pact to provide medical treatment for the heroes of the big apple when required without jeopardizing their secret identities or even removing their masks unless it was required for applying medical treatment.
Unfortunately his treatment of Mr. Parker was far from a standard operation. The evil alien symbiote Carnage attacked the hospital shortly after the doctors finished operating on Spidey. Not wanting to leave the recuperating web-slinger to fend for himself he grabbed his walking cane & attempted to defend the hero. This resulted in him being fatally injured in his failed attempt to play hero to New York's hero. This act of selfishness however was all that was required of him by Odin to prove himself worthy of his divinity once more.
This caused a resurgence of both his memories, divine physique & powers whilst also shifting his cane into the form of his mighty hammer. Donald Blake was flooded with several centuries of memories of his former divine life as the god of thunder as his heart beat slowed & he was on the steps of entering Valhalla to rest with the other great warriors of Asgard who'd fought for righteousness over the eons.
Furthermore he learned that Loki had restored & delivered the symbiote to Kassidy in exchange for taking Thor's life whilst he was trapped in his mortal coil. From there he convened with Lady Sif & the warriors three who had missed their friend & comrade in arms greatly. He learned that his father was in the midst of slumber in the odinsleep which is why Loki had chosen to act now against his foster brother to take his life. Luckily for him even with the allfather counting divine sheep this had no effect on the worthiness enchantment nor the effects of the spell cast on him that rendered him mortal in the first place.
However his brother did not give up on his vengeance there, and has assumed control of the throne of Asgard in lieu of Thor's entrapment on Midgard. He dispatched the mighty Destroyer to level the hospital Blake worked at upping his game to eradicate him & the mortals he'd grown closest with as Donald Blake. One of those was the dashingly beautiful & intelligent Jane Foster. Spurred on by his romantic feelings for Jane & desire to protect the denizens of Midgard he rose to the occassion battling the godly war machine & besting it in combat saving the lives of the humans his trickster brother had targeted. However he decided to play possum taking a page out of his brother's book conning the mischief god to coming down to earth to examine his handy work himself.
Thor sprung a trap on Loki & engaged him in battle. His mighty power was more then a match for his brother's asgardian magic. He defeated Loki & sought to bring him to justice. To his chagrin Loki escaped his custody & fled to the deepest corners of earth. Shortly after Odin arose from his slumber he was proud to learn Thor had proven himself worthy of his powers & enchanted hammer, but was saddened to learn of Loki's deceit & heinous actions he'd taken on midgard. He was ostracized & branded a criminal with an order to be brought to justice at the high courts of Asgard.
Odin even apologized to Thor not for rendering him mortal to humble him, but for not realizing the role Loki played in pitting the two against each other & putting him in a position to where he was almost slaughtered by him in the process. With that he was well on his way to being the king of Asgard again, but THor decided that he had much to learn & further to go before he assumed the throne. He decided to become a hero of earth fighting for truth, & justice. He became one of the founding members of the Avengers when Loki decided to show his face again working in tandem with the vicious alien race known as the Chitauri to conquer the planet.
With the help of his newfound friends & team-mates, the trickster was foiled once again. This time however Loki was not able to evade capture & had Heimdall personally use the power of the bifrost to scoop Loki up & transport him to the dungeons of Asgard. He officially retired from his position as a doctor at the hospital cashing his last pay-check & going to work for the Avengers. He moved into their head-quarters & with his position as a prince of asgard as well as his powers he had an abundance of wealth to support himself as a superhero & continue to fight for the innocent.
Supporting Cast:
Odin - The Allfather of nordic mythology & king of Asgard. The wise one eyed king of asgard with his mystical bird perched on his shoulder. He is a great father to Thor & Loki, as well as a semi-faithful wife to Frigga. He instills a strong sense of morality in Thor & has/continues to offer him guidance in all his endeavours he partakes in across the nine realms. While he does bare some concern for Thor's overly ambitious affinity towards getting involved with matters on Midgard he still supports him. Still he wishes for him to divide his attention among the realms equally so that he may one day rise to be the next allfather & protector/peace-keeper of the realms.
Lady Sif: A fellow warrior of Asgard one of whom Thor's had an on & off relationship with. He admires her vibrant personality, love for battle, strong drink & readiness for adventure. The two have tangled with many mystical monsters, demons, giants, wizards/witches, bitter gods & rogue superhumans over the centuries. With his true nature regained & abilities restored he made short work of Carnage, defeating him & ripping the villainous symbiote off Cletus Kassidy before taking it high into the atmosphere to atomize the evil alien parasite.
Jane Foster: Thor's mortal love whom he fell for while he was in the guise of Donald Blake, a mortal medical doctor without his powers & divine memories. He grew close to her during this time & started a genuine relationship. He grew very fond of Jane Foster & she represented everything that he loved about the residents of Midfgard. After regaining his powers during a bout with Carnage he still retained his feelings for her that he built up while dating her as Donald Blake. He continued his relationship with her when he became a superhero & resumed being Thor, the god of thunder.

Responds well to leadership and mentor roles but resists any longer term assignments which would include schedules and limit ability to travel. Subject responds poorly to authority. Subject questions orders publicly, disobeys order, dresses down subordinates and superiors, and will occasionally walk away from posts and duties without a word of explanation. Often into the wilderness, definite preference for Canadian wilderness.
Subject seems to desire company of others yet often will depart from that company to go dwell alone for extended periods of time or seek new company. Subject displays great long-term loyalty but poor short-term loyalty. Often best method of re-acquiring subject is to acquire those associated with subject and provide a trail of crumbs. Such actions require authorization from the highest levels due to inherent high level of risk entailed.

Extra/Notes: I particularly like two versions of Wolverine. The street level vigilante bits where he is chasing down murderers and kidnappers and human traffickers and that sort of stuff OR the stuff where he is acting as more of a mentor and less of a weapon to be used. My intention at least, if I can stay on point, is to sort of combine the two. This version of Logan is tired of being used. Tired of the people he puts his faith in turning out to be monsters. Professor X and Hydra/SHIELD in particular. I have a particular interest in the concepts of mortality and what eternal or wildly elongated life would mean in practice. So yeah.
History: Spent a lot of time staring into that abyss. Sometimes wasn't the only one looking through my eyes. France, Germany, Africa, Japan, Viet-fuckin-nam, Madripoor, Mexico, good old US of A, Canada of course. Shed blood all over the world, bled a lot of it too. Seen all manner of cruelty and evil, come to the conclusion it, Evil, ain't some alien thing from Hell that reaches out to us every few decades. It's a thing that lives in all of us, some more than others. God knows I've got enough of it in me. Ol' Kurt Wagner taught me plenty 'bout that.
Stare into that abyss and it stares back at you. Me and it we old friends. Very old. Ain't no spring chicken anymore. Body still is, but the shit takes its toll. Wonder sometimes how we do it. How we keep on pushing year after year, decade after decade. More than a few of us been doing this for generations now. Run into folk I've been friends with or enemies ta or both for longer than most folk get to live. Plenty of folk tried to help or tried to stand in my way. I took plenty of their lives, those that tried to stop me, and just me being me ended up getting plenty of them that tried to help me dead. Plenty more of them just wilted, like people do eventually. It's like them Kansas fellas said, Dust in the Wind.
I can't see myself just sitting by while bad things happen. Not in me. But maybe I can stop being such a damn ass about things. Stop running out on friends first sign of them caring a little too much. Got kids to think about, them that don't hate me and ain't tried to kill me at least. I can hope for redemption for them that do want to kill me too can't I? Nothing says I can't. Maybe this old dog can learn a new trick. Maybe this short hairy mutt can even make up for the dark old days.
