Greetings!
Ten years ago, we reached the culmination of one of the most memorable chapters of our lives. On the 28th of May of 2012, we received our diplomas and excitedly threw our black caps in the air as we were officially declared high school graduates. During our time at King's Academy we lived, we laughed, we cried… But most importantly, we gained the skills and experiences that led us to become the successful adults we are today.
In honor of the tenth anniversary of this day, I have organized an event to celebrate King’s Academy’s Class of 2012. From the 7th to the 9th of June 2022, you will have the opportunity to reunite with your fellow classmates for a weekend of fun, relaxation, exciting events and long trips down memory lane. Spots at the hotel are limited, so I kindly ask that you please RSVP by April 24th, 2022.
In case of any questions, please feel free to contact me via email at marie.hodgekiss@gmail.com. Myself or my assistant will be available to answer any inquiries.
I hope to see you there!
Respectfully,
Marie-Alexandra Hodges
2012 Senior Class President

Hello, and welcome to the second attempt of Palm Beach Royals: Class Reunion. The premise is as straightforward as the title suggests. In this roleplay, you will play an adult in their late 20’s that, in the year 2012, graduated from one of the most prestigious private schools in the country: King's Academy. We will collaboratively write the story of our characters as they get reacquainted with old friends, lovers and/or enemies while celebrating the tenth anniversary of their high school graduation during one glorious, memorable weekend at a luxurious resort in the Florida Keys.
The GM will present a series of events to move the story forward, which are expected to last a total of 3 IC days (because I dream of reaching the conclusion of a roleplay at least once in my life). The approach of this roleplay is the lines of a Freeform young adult series: with the usual drama between characters, hookups, affairs, embarrassing and funny moments. As expected considering we’ll be writing as adults, situations including swearing, alcohol, drugs, sex (following guild rules or course), etc. will be present.
Special shoutout to @metanoia, @NeoAJ and @Aces Away for listening to my rambling and their assistance with the updates for this second iteration. ♡

- Quality over quantity in posts, always.
- Communication is key, so if you ever find yourself on a bind or lost on what to do, please don't hesitate to reach out for assistance.
- Due to the character-driven nature of the RP, interactions are a must. I will not require relations to be written out, but I do encourage establishing some prior to the start of the RP in order to avoid players and characters being left out.
- Drop the song that’s currently on repeat for you at the end of the Extra section of your character sheet to make sure you read the rules. Your sheet will not be accepted until you do.
- Please use one post per character in both the IC tab and the Character tab.
- It’s 2022. I’m too old and tired for petty OOC drama between players, or to play referee. If you stir the pot, you’re out-- plain and simple.
- A maximum of two character per player.
- Real-life face claims only.
- Genders will be capped if the applications/reservations are leaning more towards one side than the other.
- No WIPs are to be posted in the OOC.
- Please make sure to tag me in the post when submitting your finished sheet for review.
- I will approve, deny and/or make any comments or suggestions about the character sheets submitted for review.
- FCs and color reservations are permitted in the OOC.
GM Note: Commitment and Communication are my most valued requirements when it comes to the hobby (and biggest pet peeve). It's my biggest hope that each player is as present and active as their busy lives allows them to be. While I won't be enforcing posting deadlines, I will consider you inactive and you will be removed from the rp if you have not posted for your character in a month. I do know life happens when we least expect it, so please let me know if it ever does. But before commiting to this roleplay, I kindly ask that you evaluate your personal situation with honesty: will you have the time, energy and motivation to see this roleplay through?
