He’s also prone to dropping a project or new hobby if he doesn’t immediately excel at it; something that even happened with the dog he received as a gift going into high school from his uncle. Tyler named the dog, but it was only a few months before his twin sister was taking care of the puppy. When Tyler finds something he does excel at, he throws himself into it. It’s how he found his first love: lacrosse in middle school. He loves to play and uses the field as a place where he can show off as much as he wants, and he often plays like a one man army: greedy, and a ball hog. Even with that in mind, he’s such a naturally talented player that he was first choice to be captain in his senior year. However, Tyler isn’t interested in a responsibility like that and turned it down because “I just want to score goals, man.” B I O G R A P H Y For his entire life, Tyler’s father has told both him and his sister that he expects them to go to college and get a ‘good, real job.’ Once upon a time, Tyler’s father was a world renowned professional MMA competitor, and after retirement in 2016 he spent his prize money and brand on starting an extremely successful marijuana brand: Mr. Rogers’s Kush. Sawyer Rogers does not consider either knocking heads around nor selling weed to be a ‘real job,’ and he’s made that very clear to his children. ____________________________________________________________________________Personally, Tyler doesn’t get it. When he was younger, he wanted to be a fighter like his dad, or a ‘farmer’ like his mom, but both ideas were shot down by his dad who told him to grow up and be a doctor, or a lawyer, even a Wall St. man. Someone that matters. Tyler eventually turned the idea of being ‘someone that matters’ into becoming a surgeon who can help people that suffer from the same kind of injuries that caused his father to eventually retire: a brain surgeon, specializing in traumatic concussions. In his final year of high school, Tyler is focusing almost all his efforts on two things: getting into Harvard, and setting just a few more school records in lacrosse before he leaves. His goals have led to a lifestyle that sacrifices sleep to enjoy what little social life he can, and has made him an avid consumer of energy drinks. There's nothing Tristan hates more than being told she can't do something. Between the two of them, Tristna is in several ways the responsible one; she walks Chopper and feeds him every day to the point where Chopper is happier to see her when she comes home. She'd like to cut loose and have fun, but the drive to break boundaries and prove people wrong and, yes, to keep her brother from doing something stupid has held her back in some ways. What makes Tristan different is that she doesn't need to have the spotlight on her, and often she would prefer otherwise. She does not like giving speeches in class and would just as soon spend a Friday night watching martial arts movies with a big bowl of popcorn and chop curled up next to her as she would going out and getting into trouble. Her dislike of public speaking doesn't translate to huddling with the team during a game, though, but that's considerably different than stammering over words when trying to explain the themes of The Grapes of Wrath - especially when you didn't finish the damn thing. Still, Tristan is a sore loser but she's not afraid to put herself out there. She came out as bisexual to her parents who really thought she had something more serious to say during a family meeting. They might not have thought much of it, but it helped Tristan realize that sometimes you just have to let people know who you are and if they reject you then that's on them. Granted, this hasn't helped her have a stable relationship but she at least asks people out. She's using this last year of high school to finally step out of the shadow of her brother she was blissfully living behind and becoming her own woman. She's already quieted many naysayers by taking the position of captain of the lacrosse team after her brother, the initial choice, turned it down. The sport might be male dominated but at Delbrook it's a co-ed team and to Tristan that only meant one thing: anything they can do, so can she. Don't let her appearance paint the wrong picture. She looks good off the field but she looks just as good getting sweaty and dirty in game. ____________________________________________________________________________ B I O G R A P H Y Sawyer Rogers was once a rather decorated MMA star who was given little choice but to retire after a bad injury during which he got way into the herbal remedy side of things no doubt thanks to his rehab trainer turned wife Dawn. To many it's a romantic story, the hard as nails fighter mellowing into new age hippie parent who still wants his son to excel but for Tristan it's more of an eye rolling account of why her dad owns a rasta tam hat. Compared to Tyler, Tristan was not given as much pressure to be a 'somebody' but because Tristan is an unabashed daddy's girl, she picked up a few of his beliefs anyway. Sawyer is softer with Tristan not because of favoritism but because he didn't want to see his little girl get hurt. She had to convince him to let her try out for a co-ed team and even then the first time she was tackled to the dirt Sawyer was ready to pull her out. And go off on the ref. ____________________________________________________________________________Would that she could be the dainty weed princess like her mom, but that was never going to happen so long as she was born three minutes after her fraternal twin. When Tyler showed an interest in Lacrosse, Tristan studied the rules and tried out as well. She kept up with him, never surpassing him, and settled into a role where her style of play - analyzing the situation, adapting, setting up - worked out well. In middle school the two of them were a bit of a menace, with Tristan doing what she could to get the ball to Tyler for him to score. Sure, he got the glory, but keen eyes and sharp minds knew it wasn't just Michael Jordan who won the Bulls those rings. Or whatever. Tristan doesn't see herself going into sports professionally because outside of high school she'd never really get the same celebrity treatment that the men do. People know Tom Brady but it's not like the average person knows Hailey Rhatigan. Her father always told her brother to be someone who matters and Tristan has started considering what she wants to do to be someone who matters. Her goals aren't as lofty as Harvard, but they are goals nonetheless. Her father is an actor who worked in several big budget franchise films, and is the main ‘breadwinner’ of the family, but Juliet favors her mother. Her mother is a director of indie art films, and it’s mostly from her that she gets her deeper love for cinema. Did her father make her watch The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari when she turned fourteen? Constantly building and improving on the things around her she's typically covered in some kind of grease, soot, dirt or other. Though she gets into her own headspace when it comes down to working on any of her million side projects, she never forgets to let loose and have a great time. Her relationship with her twin is like none she can experience with anyone else. Who else would get her jokes at 3AM? Or know exactly how she likes her coffee in the morning? Sure, someone could learn these tips and tricks and successfully land a close friend position. But it wouldn't be the saaaaame. Daze and Jules have this relationship that is close and unbreakable - they fight and bicker and argue like sisters do - but they come back together and act as if nothing had happened. Like nothing skipped a beat and life continued. Daze will take up for her sister in a split second and is never one to place blame on her; if anything Daze will take on the responsibility for the majority of trouble Jules causes. Cause Daze never gets in trouble. Nope. Never. °l||l°l||l°l||l°l||l 𝙩 𝙝 𝙚 𝙨 𝙩 𝙤 𝙧 𝙮 𝗕 𝗜 𝗢 𝗚 𝗥 𝗔 𝗣 𝗛 𝗬 Daze and Jules parents thrive among those in the film industry successful in their own line of work. Their father is an actor who has worked in several big budget franchise films and is the main ‘breadwinner’ of the family. Their mother is a director of indie art films, and it’s mostly from her that Jules gets her deep love for cinema. Daze however, though she admires both of them and their work, prefers the more technical side of movie magic. Though Daisie is the oldest of the twins it was Juliet who was the spoiled princess. Daze was too, don't get it wrong, she was just spoiled in other ways that didn't follow the typical girly trope that her sister embodied. They're still spoiled rotten, even with the addition of their younger brother. Both are faced with pressure applied to them from both parents as to what they are going to do with their lives, in and out of high school. Because for the Park twins, it's not a matter of IF they're going to college but WHEN and WHERE. Lately however, the crack down has come a little harder and harsher since the girls will be starting their senior year. Mainly in part due to Daze being caught trying to sneak back into the house in the early hours of the morning after being out all night at a rave in the city. What is failed to be cataloged of that evening was that Jules was there too, she was just quicker to jumping in bed and didn't stumble over all the fucking shit in the room. But she digresses. Needless to say, they weren't pleased. Shocking. It was about this time that the the two of them had gotten a job at Disney over the summer and it was going decently well. Daze got to be up close and personal with animatronics and their inner workings not to mention geeking out whenever she turned her head to look and Jules, well, she got to oogle all the pretty princesses and flirt with them. Daze is positive she has a lil book with which princess she hooked up and how good a kisser they are. At least it was going well until Jules decided it was time to make the moves on Snow White. There is only so much guarding Daze could do before being shoved aside by a much larger security guard and Gaston fucking douche - she wasn't even the princess in your film, bro. All in all a good life. Surrounded by film and culture and love - for the most part - what more could Daze ask for? He can act shy around new people or strong personalities, but that isn't to say that he doesn't try his best to be friendly to them. It's just that sometimes those kinds of people just come off as overwhelming to him and he doubts himself to the point that he retreats into a bubble of sorts. When he's comfortable with someone, though, Ross is very chatty and has a smile (albeit minimal) on his face any time he's with them. He's also a very positive person. He sees the best in people even if others don't think he should. Really all he wants to do is help those he can and even if he can't, he's still willing to try and maybe find a solution or a way to help. He kind of prides himself in knowing when someone might be going through it and sometimes he might not completely understand, there's a large part of him that wants to try. Molly is largely a chill and easy going person, who puts on airs most of the day to give her an ever-so-slightly difficult person to level with. That's only so the wrong people don't waste their time fooling around with her, and to separate them from the right; The wrong being someone hitting on her, harassing her, or just otherwise being a pain in the ass. Anyone who isn't falling into one of those categories knows her as just a cool skater girl who doesn't mind hanging out on her days off, mostly the weekends, and shooting the shit in one way or the other. At school, she's typically away from the sporty prep-ish life, preferring to breeze through classes like she knows what she's doing - rightfully so - and making her days something she feels satisfied with going to bed after. She's mildly introverted, and not one for big afterschool parties, though she's been found at them once or twice. Molly prefers to keep to a small group of close friends, and the rest as casuals, and everyone else as "that dude" or "what's-her-name."
Molly is also a bit of what others would describe as a "mood." What do Snoop Dogg's Twitch streams, the "Shut up I'm listening to X" meme, and the average skater's patience with Karen-esque humor have in common? A certain "bruh" factor, and chill vibes. Molly's the type to send a "dead chat xd" shitpost to a group chat after only half an hour of inactivity, or the one who tosses a pack of Skittles into a hole in the ceiling as she walks by, just to see how deep it is. She's a tad aloof at times, but she's not exactly a ditz, like a certain blonde with a tiny magically alive creature on her shoulders that one or two people here know about. Molly is quite the decent student when it comes to things like Math or something pertaining to interactions like a debate class or where communication is necessary. She's probably best summed up as a very "Just run with it and see what the hell happens when it happens" kind of girl.
