Location: Gym -> the Field (School Carnival) (Agatha's Tent)
Skills: Enhanced Reflexes (Passive)
~First day fit~

Andy saved the guy's 'superlink', whatever that was, for later. She'd have to ask Mai...or maybe Leah would be cool enough to explain it to her. The last major social media app Andy used had been TicTok. She wondered if her account was still active. Or if TicTok was even still a thing.

"Thanks, I do want to try it. I loved Mario Kart." She told him before heading out of the Gym. As they walked Andy slowed a bit and turned to Leah, "Uh can I ask you a really weird question?" She wasn't certain what Leah would think about it, but so far Leah had been cool. She really hoped Leah wouldn't ask why she didn't know what the heck superlink was.

"Basically, I just moved here, right, and I have no idea what SuperLink is. I'm guessing a social media of some sort?" Before Leah could answer Andy looked around realizing she a) had no idea who Agatha was and b) no idea where Agatha was. She saw a trio of people, one older and two freshman-looking.

"Uh, hey, sorry to bother you guys, but where is..." Andy trailed off trying to remember the name, she pulled out her phone and glanced at the email from Victoria. "Agatha's? She realized after she asked that Leah had said she had already been there and probably could have led the way.

"It's not too far, just a few feet to the left there's a line there and a tent with a bunch of occult stuff on it, not too hard to miss." The blonde, older-looking one of the trio said.

"Cool thank you"

"Yep no problem at all." Andy started in the direction she had indicated, paused after a few feet, and looked at Leah again.

"Sorry, right after I asked them I remembered you said you had already been and I should have just asked you."

@Kirah@Blizz: The pair would be able to find their way over to Agatha's tent, and currently there was no line! A group of students - April, Sabine, Danni, Dorian, and Mads - are milling around near the entrance, but it's pretty clear that they aren't currently waiting to go inside. There's no sign of Zari and Vicky yet, so it looks like the two of you beat them there.

@BlueSky44@Forsythe@Ogobrogo: Zari paid the hottie tax. The three of you are almost at the fortune telling tent - in fact, it's right around the corner. Mai would be able to catch glimpses of Sabine, April, Danni, Dorian, and Mads - aka the people she had ditched real quick to go get high, only to be distracted by Vicky. The three of them would also see Andy and Leah arrive at the tent, so it would be easy enough to go ahead and catch up to them now.

@Ever Faithful@Natsu@Ogobrogo: There was no sign of Ser Nemo coming back, so the three of them were definitely on their own for the moment. Perhaps if Teddy wanted help with the two freshmen, he could text his friend Diana? She might be down to go check out the spaceship with them, and help to ease some of the tension - as things are definitely at least somewhat tense between the two girls. But hey, they seem to be warming up to Teddy at least - no pun intended. So let's go check out that spaceship and make some friends!

Percy Novikov

Location: Carnival - Food Trucks
Skills: N/A
~New Outfit~

"Yeah, I was planning on going in alone - I don't need an audience to the mysteries of my future," Percy explained. He didn't really want his sister there - but truthfully, he didn't want anyone else there. It seemed like a private moment. Magic and whatnot was real, so it stood to reason that whatever Agatha told him would also be real. And maybe it would be something he'd want to keep to himself. He didn't intend on going down the road to villainy, but just in case, he didn't want to create issues for his own future. He didn't need people throwing him in jail before his rain of terror began.

Again though, he wasn't planning on going evil - he just recognized it was a possibility. His mom after all had helped Pym to create Ultron with purely good intentions.

"Are you not going to go see Agatha, then?" he asked Diana. "If you're too scared, I can always go in with you," he added with a smirk, hoping that would rile his sister up somewhat.

He was intrigued though with the answer Zelda gave to his question - conventional wisdom, or at least what he had learned from the Incredibles was that flyers were the worst people to give capes to. He tilted his head, thinking for a moment. "What sort of costume would you recommend for someone who blips through space-time?" he asked, curious. He had always dreamt of some sort of costume that could shift to match something temporally appropriate in attire - anything else wouldn't be particularly useful to him. He knew Mister Fantastic had unstable molecules, but Percy hated the Fantastic Four. He didn't want to use a Reed Richards invention. He'd rather die.

Some students randomly came by looking for directions to Agatha's, and Percy couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Ugh, the line is going to be the worst, isn't it..." he muttered. "Maybe we should head on over, before Agatha stops seeing people or dies. She's old as dirt, so could go either way."

April Flynn

Location: the Field (School Carnival) - Outside Agatha's Tent

~First Day Fit~

April felt out of sorts as she left the tent, one hand gripping the vial of magic water. She didn't know what she'd use water from the River Styx for - it just seemed menacing. Where was the magic water with healing properties, like what Katara had gotten from the North Pole - why couldn't Agatha have given her that? The sun glared into her eyes as April shielded them with her other hand, briefly wishing that the day would be over already. Curling up in bed and going to sleep sounded like a nice idea - she couldn't be worrying about everything and overanalyzing things if she was asleep.

She rejoined the others, waiting a beat before jumping into conversation. "So Agatha says there's a like dragon manual or something in the occult section of the library, Danni," April explained. He was really close to Sabine - her stomach twisted up into knots again. But he seemed already - well, not calmer Danni was never really calm - better than she had left him. She rocked back and forth on her feet slightly, trying not to stare too much at any one person in particular.

Maybe doing another activity would shake off the weird vibes and energy from that tarot reading. April let go of the little vial that was on the chain around her neck, letting it fall flat against her chest. "Sooo where to next, birthday boy? We've got a few hours still before they switch things over for the concert. We def have time to hit up all the cool stuff, like that spaceship club or whatever, or maybe even try on outfits and take some gorg pics," April asked. The concert was supposed to be THE highlight of the carnival - and April didn't want to miss it. It was magical, hearing the music vibrate through her chest as fireworks exploded up above them. Tomorrow would be the auditions - a day filled with stress and anxiety. Today was supposed to be fun.

So why was April struggling to enjoy herself?

Leah Jordan

Location: Agatha's tent... again.
Skills: N/A
First Day Fit

"That's a lot of people." Leah said flatly as she and Andy found the small crowd forming by Agatha's tent. She recognized a grand total of two people she resonated with somewhat. Mads and April. Dorian, she didn't really have anything against. He seemed alright. Leah just couldn't keep up with Danni's energy in any way, shape or form, though. He wasn't even annoying, he was just too damn fast for her to process sometimes. And Sabine. Sabine fucking Bassard. Every word that came out of those lips made Leah's teeth grind against her jaw. That bitch always had some snarky comment in her back pocket, or some don't-give-a-fuck attitude to walk around with, like the owned the place. Whenever Sabine turned that bitchy, no-good, prissy little attitude towards her it made Leah want to grab her by the throat and-

"Hey, people." She said as she walked up to them. "I met my match earlier," she pointed to Andy. "We went to go and box earlier, she laid me out cold on the floor with one kick to the face. Even Teddy can't throw a punch like that. Put me to sleep for a few seconds before I could even react to it." She told them all, looking around for Zarina and whoever the fuck "Vicky" was. "They not here yet?" The concert still wouldn't be starting for a few hours. Leah figured she'd just go and lift something heavy in the meantime. Though, Mads was right there. "Mads, before I forget-" Leah fished a bag of runes out of her pocket and showed them to the witch girl. "-Agatha gave me these earlier. I figured you'd know something about magic rocks. Think you can help me figure out how to use them later?" Leah knew a thing or two about rocks, but magic rocks were a little out of her wheelhouse.

Teddy Thompson

Location: Stark Hall - Outside doorway to Room 401
Skills: None Used!

“Oooh, huh. Small world…” Teddy continued, trying his absolute best to figure out small talk in real time. Though he couldn’t help but let out a hearty chuckle when she asked if he was a speedster. “Ahh…I’m more of a slow and steady kind of guy. Hell, I get winded just listening to them talk.” he offered with another chuckle. When the other girl began to speak, Teddy finally approached the room properly, realizing that having a conversation across two separate rooms was, quite frankly, the worst possible way to do this. Leaning against the doorframe, he only caught a glimpse of Ardere’s odd smile as she explained her powers.

A chill ran down his spine.

It lasted for only but a moment, but in that time, Teddy’s more animalistic instincts had kicked in and he had unconsciously been preparing himself to either fight the girl or flee. Luckily, the perceived threat had passed almost as quickly as it had arrived. Teddy was, by all rights, fairly well disciplined, and as such, he had managed to process the moment with only a subtle twitching of the fingers and eye, but still there was a heavy guilt that gripped his heart afterwards.

“I…also struggle with Baked Alaska. Hard to show restraint with the torch. Though I do make a mean strawberry pie.” Teddy joked, trying to salvage the vibe in the room. “But, no seriously, that’s pretty impressive. I can’t say I do anything too flashy - mainly just lift heavy stuff.” he shrugged.

A beat later, when the girls both seemed to light up at his mentioning of the spaceship, Teddy silently celebrated. “It’s uh…I think it’s an old Kree ship?” he explained, trying not to outright gush about a niche interest of his to the girls. Not yet. Get them inside the alien spacecraft first, THEN nerd out over the mechanical marvels. “Well, awesome, yeah, if you’re both ready then we can head on over.” he said before pushing off the doorframe and moving a paw to his pocket, fishing around for something. “I’m just gonna text a friend and see if she wants to meet up. I think she’s showing her little brother around anyway, so the more the merrier, yeah?” he announced absentmindedly before pulling a phone with a horribly cracked screen from his pocket. He held it in one hand, using his index finger to carefully - and slowly - hunt for each letter as he composed a text with all the skill and grace of an elderly luddite.

Phan Le ‘Chill’ Mai

Location: The Field (School Carnival) - Approaching Agatha’s Hut - Chronic Remix
Skills: None Used!
~First Day Fit~

How did it end up like this?

Mai couldn’t begin to understand how it had come to be, but there she was - nuzzled into Vicky. She had originally intended to just walk beside her, but Vicky gave her an opening. The other girl’s gentle patting on her back caused Mai to burp, but like, just a little bit, nothing too disgusting. Not yet, anyway, but one should only continue patting at one’s own risk.

Vicky scolded her. And to her credit, she had a point. But when the girl - Zari - answered anyway, Mai couldn’t help but laugh, burying her face into Vicky’s side before pulling away, still hee-hee-hooing. “Bruhhhh…” she gasped. The timing of it all was just grade-fucking-A. Get fucked, Vicky, bitches loved Mai. Why else would she answer? Rules meant nothing.

Wiping her mouth and nose with the back of her hand, Mai had to look up to see Vicky’s face as she spoke. Bad idea. Her head felt fuzzy. It was as if somebody had turned motion blur on IRL. And…right beyond Vicky’s face was a set of clouds that looked sort of like a chimp kissing a fish. Y’know, if you like, squint your eyes just right.

When Vicky mentioned Agatha’s name, Mai’s mouth dropped. “BRUH! Why the fuck does everybody wanna see that spooky bitch? Fuck me, fine, I’ll go.” she exclaimed, resigning herself to her fate. And fate it was - as Mai began to make out her Fab Five directly ahead. The crew. The famski. The peeps. “I’M BACK, BITCHES!” she announced to her people before regret found its way into her heart. Oh shit. She didn’t tell April. Fuck. April would know. Fuck. April would definitely know. Shit. Shit. Shit shit shitshitshitshit-

“YO!” Mai exclaimed excitedly, running like an overstimulated puppy at a family gathering from Vicky and Zari over to Andy and Leah once she spotted her conveniently timed out roommate. “ROOMIE!” she hollered as she drew near, skidding to a halt by Andy’s side. “Those chips were fucking awesome! We gotta…we gotta get more.” She said, dropping to almost a whisper as realization dawned on her. She should get some more. But where would she get them now? Weren’t they a treat? A gift from the roomie? She couldn’t just go to a store and get them, could she? Her eyes moved from Andy to the tent.

There was one surefire way to find out…

Phan Le Chi Mai broke away from the groups and approached the tent - lines be damned - and stood in front of the entrance flaps, steeling herself. She then dropped into a squat, tucked her head between her knees and started muttering. “Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck…but we gotta get more…”

She then popped back up to her feet, spun around to face her classmates, and offered a cheesy grin with a peace sign before backing her way into the tent- it was less scary if you didn’t have to see yourself ENTERING the spooky spot. That was just a cold, hard, scientific fact.

As she disappeared behind the fabric, she let out the loudest fear burp she could possibly muster.

To ward off bad spirits or something, I dunno. Bitch was just gassy. Carnival food just sort of be like that sometimes.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Avenger's Academy, Fairgrounds
First Day Fit
Skills: N/A
Grimoire: N/A

Madalyne looked towards April, something seemed to be a little off with her roommate after she came out of Agatha's tent, she gave Danny some information about his new baby pet dragon. She had spent so much time in the occult section of the school's library, it was quiet for the most part probably because not to many people entered that section of the library. Unless you had a class or two with Professor Agatha, the magic users and more of the occult related students went there more. "If you want Danny I can take you there now and find something for your dragon egg. We can do it now or later if you'd like totally up to you though if you want to actually go there, i'm fine with going there later if you don't want to at the moment." She said to Danny.

Madalyne then heard Mai's voice as she decided to return and gave her a friendly wave. "Hey there again Mai." As she watched her entering the tent shortly afterwards, when Leah got her attention asking her about the runes that she had gotten from Agatha. Runes and divination were some of the units that were covered in Agatha's curriculum. "Yeah it was actually covered in one of Agatha's units. The runes stone are basically another form of divination, basically kind of like a tarot card reading." She explained Madalyne didn't want to take Leah's runes without her permission that would be rude, but continued with her explanation.

"Each rune basically has a certain meaning for example the Algiz, the rune that looks kinda like a trident without the sharp pointy ends, it's summary or meaning stands for Elk, luck & protection, connection to the higher self, sanctuary." Madalyne explained, she wasn't sure if Leah understood or not. "If you want to later or something and if Danny wants to come with his dragon egg I could help you find some books on it." Madalyne offered Leah, she didn't know her super well unless she was hanging out with some mutual friends thats about it though.

Diana Novikova

Location: Avenger's Academy, Stark Hall
First Day Fit

Diana leaned back as she finished eating up the last of her wings and fries she waved goodbye to the freshman that had approached her her attention went back to listening to Zelda as she started to go into capes a little bit. Luckily she didn't have any kind of flight powers then. Unlike their aunt Kristina who had the ability to fly as well to, Diana knew that she didn't do anymore super heroic stuff anymore as far as she knew anyway. Diana then flicked her brother on the forehead and rolled her eyes towards him. "Nah why would I be scared of Agatha she maybe old but she doesn't freak me out at all. I just figured that it would make things go a bit faster or whatever." Diana said to her brother.

Diana then felt her phone going off and pulled out her phone seeing that it was a text from Teddy asking if she wanted to hangout with him and two freshmen, though the text was really hard to read. Diana turned to look at Percy and Zelda for a moment she figured that her brother wanted to go see Agatha alone anyway but it was up to Percy if he wanted to join to. "Teddy is showing some newbies around the spaceship that the spaceship crew have been working on did you guys want to come with?" Diana asked them as she shot back a reply to Teddy.

Ardere Terrane

Baked Alaska? The young redhead repeated, "Is that food too? A desert like a strawberry pie? Oh much she wishes she could hide her face underneath her mask right now. Ardere would like her mouth to stop rambling. But when he mentioned the "Kree" and a "friend", she wondered if she made the right choice now that there could be more company. Unfortunately, it's too late to back out now. She agreed to go for the spaceship and that was it.

"Yeah, your friend can come." Ardere replied softly, seemingly wanting to shrink and hide inside her clothes. "What's a Kree? It sounds...familiar. Like from a TV or show." she asked, hoping it was too stupid of a question as a part of her mind screamed at how terribly misinformed she is.

Mary Sue cringed internally at Ardere's response. She wasn't asking her... not that Mary Sue didn't care about her roommate, she didn't want to be immediately turned off to her, but it was hard to not be at least have things be awkward. She would find a way to fix this, even if it meant being a bit of a doormat. She just wished that she and the person she ended up living with had a little bit of chemistry, but if this was how it was, she really could only meet the universe where it was. Clenching her teeth, she forced herself to focus on Teddy.

"A Kree ship? That's awesome! Let's go!" She said, obviously enthused. She thought her parents had mentioned that they'd run into them a few times, but she really didn't know specifics. She pointedly kept herself from trying to explain her powers, not only because she really didn't fully understand them herself, but also because she really didn't think they were much to be proud of. She hoped they'd be something useful and impressive one day, but she was currently operating under the assumption that if she wanted to get where everyone else already was, she'd need to work twice as hard.

Zelda Flynn

Location: Carnival - Food Trucks
Skills: N/A

"Yeah personally if you are wanting to learn anything about your future might be best to not maybe have an audience or anything like that..." she commented with a shrug, before she listened to the question that Percy then asked her about what sort of costume she'd suggest for what she assumed were his powers. Despite being super interested in this sort of thing, she'd be unsure of how best to do things for others. Her own costume or outfit was already thought out at least for how she wants to do it eventually if she ever does do the whole hero thing, but now someone was seemingly actively asking her about opinions for himself.

Zelda thought about it for a moment before responding, "Well the main thing is that you'd likely want obviously the material in the costume to be durable to help protect you from anything, especially when you consider you might not know where you'd end up... Ideally the best thing would be to find a way to have it so the costume adapts to whatever time era you're in, but the mechanics on how to do that wouldn't necessarily be so easy and make it completely real... It'd be easier to basically make the costume based around how you'd want to appear in this time period, with a holographic device of sorts that can sense what time era you're in, and project the time appropriate outfit around you, which would move and appear as the outfit in question but obviously your outfit wouldn't actually change. So if the hologram projector fails then it'd still appear as your original outfit... Though figuring out a way to make a costume fully shift depending on the time period would be a fun thing to try and figure out..." That was the best way she could maybe think of to work with what he was asking. Since he seemed to more or less want to base it around his powers more then appearance. "And I'm not super interested in seeing a spaceship or anything like that... But that's just me... I do agree though that if you want to go to Agatha's we probably should go now before the line gets worse..." she added, addressing Diana's invitation to join where she was going as well as the whole thing with Agatha's tent seemingly getting a long line.

Zarina Raynordattir

Location: the Field (School Carnival)

The fact that Zari thought that Mai was a bit weird was saying something, considering the fact that many would see Zari as the weird one. She didn't say anything else to Mai though, turning her attention more towards where they were going, that being the Fortune Teller's tent. Glancing over though, she saw Andy and smiled happily, "Aaaaaaaaaandy!" she said happily racing over and giving her a hug, "What have you been doooooooing?" she asked her, seemingly ignoring the rest of the group that was over by the tent.

It took a second for her to notice the others that were there actually. Glancing around at the group, she waved happily, recognizing April vaguely, and having already met Madalyne and Leah earlier. "Hi there! You in line for the fortune teller or did you just leave? I dunno, I'm excited to hear what she has to say to me, prophecies and seeing the future are all real anyway, I don't get those who don't believe in that sort of thing it's weird to me, since magic and all is real so why wouldn't this be, anyway what are your names?" she asked towards Danni, Dorian and Sabine mainly, considering she wasn't entirely sure who they were, having never met them before since she hadn't gone to the school before or anything.

"01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01110011 01110100 01100001 01110010 01110100 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01110010 01100001 01101101 01100010 01101100 01100101 00100000 01100001 01100111 01100001 01101001 01101110" the robotic eye beeped at her.

"I am not! I'm asking basic questions!" she responded towards the robotic eye.

Danni squinted suspiciously at Sabine as she spouted some weird shit that felt like it meant nothing, but also vaguely intentional. "All right, keep your secrets." Danni replied, sticking his tongue out with a silly smile. There was something icky in his chest that he couldn't really place, but it felt like it was hard to breathe around, even if he was breathing fine. He couldn't place it, so when April appeared back from the tent, he bounced eagerly as he quite literally fled from the feeling. He threaded his arm through hers, tucking the egg bundle under his arm, and blanched at the suggestion of books from all sides.

"Or, or… we could do t'at later, and just 'ave fun friends times before our taskmasters, I mean professors, get it into t'eir 'eads t'at we're all work and no play." Danni whined, wanting to stave off responsibilities as long as possible. "Like yeah, I want ta be a hero and save people and better t'e world and stuff, but I also just want ta set a paper ball on fire and t'row it as far as possible before it burns up wit'out someone yellin' at me for "possibly burnin' t'e whole school down" and "t'at could get you expelled if you don't shape up", you know?"

"Oh, but Princess, you should see t'is super cool t'in' Mads can do wit' her cards! She pulled one and pop money came out! It disappeared after it 'it t'e ground, but it still made somet'in'! It was fun! She promised readin's for everyone later!" Danni explained cheerfully, making sure she got thoroughly caught up on the excitement before turning his attention to the newcomers. He tilted his head as he skimmed over Leah, showing off some fancy rocks. The urge to show off his dragon egg was real, but Danni was dutifully distracted by the stranger in their midst. He gave her a slow look over, one eyebrow up as he did. The whole black monotone, silver biker stud jacket, tennis shoes, the whole nine yards…

"Oh bless your 'eart, but who let t'e aughts out of t'e closet? Gods, you look down right dated sweet'eart. T'e potential, magnificent. But t'e execution? Dreadful." Danni tutted, going to dramatically whip his glasses off only to realize both his hands were occupied. He looked from the jacket bundled egg to April's hand, to the egg again, and gave up on the flair as Mai brought another newbie in tow and then bounced into Aggie's tent. Danni barely registered Mai, entirely focused on the tragedy in front of him. "'ave you considered accessorizing? The whole got' t'in' can be salvaged, but you need somet'in', anyt'in' to liven t'ings up a little." Danni considered the idea, tapping his chin with the back of April's hand as he thought.

"Oh, 'ave you considered green? Red wouldn't be bad eit'er, fair skin and all, but frankly, t'at's Snow W'ite vibes and it's overdone. You know, let's get like a nice, emerald sash for your waist, but ta keep the angsty-one-in-baby's first-ship vibe, we get a vintage one from like, I don't know, 2023 t'at was washed badly a few too many times before gettin' saved by t'e textile gods. Do a tie just in front of t'e 'ip, let it dangle, give some illusion of leg and poof, immediately turn t'is ensemble reasonable. And t'at's t'e Danni touch!" He beamed, then continued. "T'ough, somet'ing shiny on t'e wrist might be nice too. Maybe somet'in' to tie you to her outfit?" Dannie waved at the girl that slid in with Mai. "Love t'e sleeves, btw."

"Oh! You asked a question. Uh, yes 'ello! I am t'e lovable Danni , t'is is t'e perfect Princess, t'e handsome Dee, t'e immaculate Beanie, and t'e magical Mads!" Danny gestured at each person, failing to consider that nicknames may be more confusing in the long run. "'aven't see y'all 'ere before! Are y'all freshies? You'll be t'e first decent freshies today!"

Sabine Bassard

Location: Outside Agatha's Tent
Skills: N/A
First Day Fit

Sabine gave Danny some Bombastic side eye as she relayed her feelings towards April. What was it with people and immediately wanting to pair others off? She liked April. She could see where it went, but it wasn't like she was jumping at the bit to be in a relationship. She was young and unafraid, there was plenty of time for it. Danny was the type to have heart emojis in his eyes at all times. She couldn't blame him. Anyone would be lucky to be with him. And if anyone hurt him, well, there was a reason her particular powerset made people nervous.

Before Sabine could comment back, they were met with an onslaught of faces. One of whom was Mai's, so that was a good thing (though Sabine had to be honest she didn't really register that the girl left, but Mai was chaos incarnate and no one could hold her down. A free bird that no cage could lock). There was also Leah. Apparently, the girl had been cold-clocked by someone and, whoever that was, had earned Sabine's rare "seal of approval" (trademark pending). Another girl came hopping up with some robotic eye thing that gave Sabine the creeps. Danny went along and introduced them all. She didn't recognize Zarina. Another freshman perhaps? Sabine eyed Dorian, wondering if he was thinking pyromaniac thoughts like how he handled the last freshman to cross his path.

Sabine looked over at April. She still got the sense the girl was having a war with herself in her mind. Here they were, surrounded by (she supposed) friends and the girl seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else. "Hey, you doing okay?" she asked April.

Everyone else seemed to have their own ideas for what to do next. "Chips can wait for a second Mai, you should still check out Agatha. If for no other reason than to get some cool stuff." Sabine was growing anxious. The concern would start soon and she wanted to be anywhere else. But she would at least wait for Mai and Danny and April. The others? Well, it was Dorian's birthday. She supposed his opinion mattered.

Dorian Gray

Location: Agatha's
Skills: First Day Fit

Dorian shrugged as Danni asked if those names were of some form of video games. It wasn't any he'd heard of nor was it on any of his streaming buddies Playlist so he'd never heard of whatever Mads was talking about. But if he had to guess it was some sort of dragon related monster raising game, and as most people knew the monster tamer genre was dominated by Pokémon leaving little room for others to grow to its gargantuan stature. It reminded him of an antique game his father bought him on one of their trips to Japan. They'd manage to find a store with tons of vintage games, one of which was a small square device that could clip onto a belt or phone or well…anything really. Dad called it a digi-vice and depending how you cared for the monster in it changed how it grew. It was a ton of fun and he loved bringing it to Xaviers to help distract him at times.

A part of him wondered how his little monster was doing, in his rush for the first day of school he'd forgotten it back home. Hopefully his Appa could help take care of it while he was off, like a replacement Dee while he was away at school. He was knocked out of his thoughts when D mentioned Ser Poisson Pas and how well he'd be able to help. But before he could even answer, Danni had already bounced over four new subjects and then pranced his way towards Sabine. He simply rolled his eyes and laughed at his best friend's antics beside scrunching his nose towards Mads. "Readin'? No t'anks I do t'at enough already 'ere at t'e good Ole AA" It was a front though of course, he secretly loved to read, but hated to admit it. It was easier to be pretty and dumb than to be a smart know it all after all. Save for today, no one really looked to him for answers and maybe that was ok.

His eyes widened as Mads pulled out a card, gold coins sprouting from them as they clattered to the floor helplessly before vanishing. "OK t'ats awesome! It generates game loot!!" A huge part of him now wanted to have a well timed theatrical punch as Mads pulled the cards to make it seem like he defeated an enemy and coins appeared in their place as the K.O. prize. The little magic trick was enough to distract Dorian from Dannis little antics happening over with Sabine. April came back into view and Dorian ran over towards her, a little slower than Danni had, wrapping both his arms around the pair as he rested his chin atop the space where April and Dannis shoulders met. Apparently the school had an occult section, which made sense, but it totally killed his plans to ask the cool eclectic teach about dragons. Maybe that's how he'd lost his loved one? A story he was still curious about.

Dorian thought about what he wanted to do next, it made sense to do the ship before the light faded since the photo booth provided its own light, but he still hadn't even had a chance to play hook on a duck and win a prize, though the only prize he really wanted was the hooked duck itself. He put on his best contemplative face as he thought and an array of people suddenly began to show up. Leah was first with some early 2000's cosplayer, or perhaps they were a vintage lover? Clearly they took care of their stuff though, the jacket didn't have as much color fading as most vintage leather jackets Dorian had seen before. The studs were certainly a cool aesthetic though he felt like it clashed a bit with the rest, like if she hadn't fully grown into her punk Era.

Dorian untangled himself from the trio as he snapped his fingers when he finally figured it out. She needed more Piercings. That would certainly help the look. Or at least a swath of makeup to add to the attire. Mai practically assaulted the newbie as she skid to a halt by her, mentioning some chip before moonwalking into Aggies tent. She was always something to behold, but even he could be left stunned at times from the psychic damage that girl left. His attention went back to Mads as she mentioned the library again. "Booooorin' we aren't goin to some stale air library on my birt'day. T'at can all happen after movie night. Besides, everyone knows t'e best time to study is after a scary movie in the deep dark library with no light but t'e moon t'rough t'e glass." His last sentence coming out in an eerie and unnerving tone as to try an illicit some goosebumps on Dannis arms.

More people joined and he was beginning to think this was a party. Apparently the green haired girl knew the vintage chick. Andy. He noticed the robotic eye after, slipping between his friends to get right up in its grill. "T'ats so cool! And creepy. I LOVE IT. 'Ow did you get it? What is it? Why is it?" He stopped short as he realized he hadn't answered any of her questions and only given out his own. Lucky for him best boi Danni was on the case! Even going so far as to giving him an amazing moniker. He flashed the newbies the best Rizz face he could offer, which was pretty damn amazing really. Got all the boys to love him until Danni charred them after. "So I got Andy t'anks to greenie here, Leah I know, what's your name? Oh and we aren't all in line non, most of us have already gone just deciding on where to go next as the rest shuffle in. Oh and deciding what movie to do for movie night tonight."

Shieldmaiden
Victoria van Dyne

Location: Fortune telling > Spaceship
Skills: Having no presence

As far as processing speeds went, Vicky's circuitry rivalled the greatest human minds and even Ultron himself. Yet still Mai, fuelled by what chemical analysis of the remaining odours revealed to be pot, was capable of jumping from conversation to conversation and from suggestions to actions through hyperspace. Victoria could not even react to her outburst about Agatha before she was already disappearing into the tent. "I'll... take that as a 'Fuck you, but let's do it'?" she noted, more for herself than for the group.

Warning: Concentration of VEIL threatening personnel in the area exceeding safety margin.

Speaking of the group, her eyes lingered on Bassard for a second. That made two of the highest threats to her secret were indeed here, and she wondered if she should just go see the spaceship now and come back to Agatha later. Zari seemed to latch back onto Andy, so she would not be leaving her alone. Yeah, that's what I'll do. Come back in the evening, help Agatha take down the tent- Is that a dragon egg?! Well, now she knew what jealousy felt like. The urge to ask about it was almost irresistible, but she figured there would be plenty of time to do that later, when there were less people around.

Conviniently, it seemed everyone was too distracted by the new faces to even notice she was there, so Victoria backed away in an attempt to quietly fade back into the crowd, hoping to perhaps find a smaller flock of people to engage with, although if she was to be honest with herself, she was starting to have just about enough of socializing for one day. It was OK to take baby steps, right?

Computer says no.

Oh fine, I'll go look at the bloomin' spaceship and try to chat someone else up. But I'm going for a flight afterwards! Alone!

Location: The Field (School Carnival) (Agatha's Tent)
Skills: Enhanced Reflexes (Passive)
~First day fit~

Andy wasn't certain about approaching the tent. For much the same reason that Leah had said. There were a lot of people there. And she knew exactly zero of them, well that wasn't totally true cause Madalyne was with them. Andy had met her. But Leah started talking to them and complimenting her through it, so Andy could only smile and feel the heat of a blush warming her cheeks.

However, that blush deepened quickly. The guy's accent was a bit hard to understand, and Andy sucked with fashion. It was clear that he was giving her fashion advice. She hadn't really had a chance to shop for new clothing. She had like three outfits; all thrifted from before time traveling. Though she supposed she did have one outfit that that guy Max had summoned for her. She didn't know what to say.

Thankfully Zari appeared. She had Mai with her. How they had crossed paths Andy didn't know. But Mai was asking for more of the chips she had shared earlier. Andy nodded. "Yeah, I'll ask my mom. As long as she didn't summon them into existence, they're probably on Amazon or wherever." Andy thought there was a non-insignificant chance her mom had just summoned the snacks into existence.

Andy hugged Zari tightly. "We just went to the gym. We didn't even get to fight long cause I got the perfect kick in on Leah and laid her out. Then we met some senior that was messing with these machines. You'll want to see them later." Shortly after that, Zari was going a mile a minute again, asking the group who had been around the tent who they were.

Victoria hadn't really said anything, but Andy gave her a wave as she left. Neither Victoria nor Zari looked all the worse for the wear. So, however, their fight panned out, and it seemed okay. It seemed at least that she didn't have to introduce herself. Zari had basically done it for her. She smiled.

Andy still didn't know what SuperLink was, but hopefully, she'd figure that out soon enough. There was something one of the guys with a French (?) accent said that had her attention. They were doing a movie night. Andy loved movies. She was super out of date on what movies had happened too. So much media to catch up on! She wanted to ask about it but had already been embarrassed quite a bit. She didn't think she wanted to hang out with what were clearly "cool kids."

"Oh, uh, no. Not a Freshman. Just a transfer." Please for the love of literally anything, don't ask where they had transferred from.

@Ever Faithful@Natsu@Ogobrogo: Keep on going, folks! :) Teddy will notice that he had received a spam text earlier that day - NEED SOME INSTANT CA$H? GET UP TO $1000 -- TODAY!!! Reply YES for further info. He will of course receive another text from Diana as well.

Percy Novikov

Location: Carnival - Food Trucks
Skills: N/A
~New Outfit~

Percy sighed slightly in annoyance. Diana did not seem particularly concerned about making it to Agatha's for the reading or not. By her phrasing, Percy was pretty certain his sister's mind was made up - she was going to go hang out with his roommate and some random people. Maybe she was chaffing at his company. He didn't blame her. He didn't particularly want to hang around with just his sister the entire day either. "I'm sure a Kree ship will crash into the football field before the week is up," Percy reasoned. "But an immortal witch trading fortunes is somewhat of a rare occurrence. Go hang out with your friend. I'll be fine."

He'd have plenty of time to get to know his roommate later - although that wasn't much of a priority to Percy. As long as Teddy could be tidy and clean, that was all Percy asked of him. He wasn't looking to make friends. And in his opinion, it would likely be easier to live with Teddy if there were no emotional bonds between the two of them - things would be simpler that way. Just as Percy idolized Odysseus, he idolized the archetype of the lone wolf.

Zelda seemed to be rather bright - her idea echoed the one that had been mulling around in Percy's mind, only she didn't make any mention of unstable molecules. Instead, she proposed a holographic solution, eventually working into a design that would shift as needed. Percy liked that. He liked people who were creative and clever - and his ego enjoyed that they had had similar ideas about things. "Huh. If you ever manage to make one, basing the default design off of the school uniform would be a natural choice," he suggested. "I'm going to go see an oracle about my future, however. I'll see you later, Diana. Zelda."

He didn't know if she was going to come with him - and he didn't expect her to. She had already seen Agatha. Percy nodded at the two of them, before heading off in the direction of Agatha's tent. It wasn't far.

April Flynn

Location: the Field (School Carnival) - Outside Agatha's Tent
Skills: N/A
~First Day Fit~

April's cheeks must've been semi-permanently red, as Sabine inquired after her wellbeing. It was super sweet and kind of her and made April want to die of shame. But a happy sort of shame. Truthfully, April didn't know why she felt so icky. So she did what she always did - conceal, don't feel, etc etc. Repressing her emotions that she did not understand was definitely the way to go. Did she logically know better? Yes. But that did nothing to change April's behavior, it just made her strategize more to try to hide things. "Oh, yeah, totally fine - nothing but great news from Agatha - she said I'm going to become like a great female person, so y'know, Prom Queen and all that jazz is def in the bag."

She didn't mention the stuff about her love life - because April wasn't insane. She would have to be threatened with death in order to discuss her love life with the love of her life AKA the most gorgeous girl at AA AKA her crush, Sabine motherfucking Bassard. Holding hands with Sabine today had been the most amazing and terrifying thing that had ever happened to April in her life; she wasn't going to push her luck.

Her attention was only diverted from her impending social doom by Danni crashing into her, wrapping her arm around his. And then, not too long afterwards, Dorian had wrapped his arms around the pair of them, nestling his head into the spot where her and Danni's shoulders met. April could have cried in that moment. Instead, she tilted her head down to gently boop Dorian's head with hers affectionately, and gave Danni's arm a squeeze.

She giggled at the boys' protests over reading. April didn't mind reading - for fun. Reading for class could be okay, but teachers tended to assign the more drab and dull books known to man. She'd much rather analyze a St. John Allerdyce novel than War and Peace or whatever garbage they were being forced to consume. "Okay, but I do need you to read the Secret Tides of Salt Wives. It's an Allerdyce novel, so def don't get caught with it, but the romance between Katya and Luz is to die for. Like, I ship them sooooo hard."

Her stomach twisted with dread though at the thought of another tarot reading. But before April could protest that she was good, actually, and that she had had her fill of the future, and that maybe seeing the future was actually a bad thing and she was happy living in the present, blah blah blah... Chi Mai showed up with a cutie in a terribly outdated and unfortunately somewhat bland fit.

April gasped upon realizing that Chi Mai was HIGH. That same queasy feeling filled her, and April tried to bury it deep down. At least this time she understood her own emotions. She was upset that Chi Mai had gotten high without her. That was one of their special activities as friends. And with Chi Mai running off, leaving them to get high and not inviting April along... It made her feel like maybe Chi Mai didn't want her as a friend anymore.

So yeah, April was DEFINITELY doing her best to keep those feelings down. If she didn't think about it, then maybe it would just resolve itself and everything would be totally fine! Everything was going to be okay! It was a great start to the new school year!

April didn't notice it, but as Chi Mai asked Andy about the chips, there would be the sound of light laughter coming from Andy's bag. "Oh woah, you knocked out Leah with just one kick? That's wild - and you didn't grate your foot like it was cheese in the process?" April asked the newcomer, forcing herself to focus on how insane that was. She had seen people fight Leah before - even had been forced to do it herself from time to time in combat class - and it usually ended with a bunch of scratches, if not shredded skin.

A green haired chick with a much better and up to date sense of fashion then arrived - with a... floating robotic eyeball trailing behind her. That triggered a memory in April and she gasped again. She knew this green haired weirdo! Sorta. Not really. She had never really met her, and she couldn't exactly remember her name, but she had seen her photo in one of those like Christmas Cards her mom put up on the fridge. "Are you another SHIELD baby?" April blurted, addressing Greenie. "Because I could've sworn that I've, like, seen your face before - and that creepy eyeball baby. But he's a cute creepy. I think. Right? Like, he's giving... the Owl House, if you've ever seen that. But steampunk. Steampunk Owl House."

April didn't acknowledge the other person showing up - Vicky, one of the quieter girls in the junior class. There was just too much going on and too many people talking for April to really say or do anything to Vicky, before Vicky left. Danni gave introductions anyways, and April smiled a little extra big when she was introduced as Princess, just so they would know who was being talked about. "Aww! You can also just call me April - almost everyone does. I'm not actually a princess, although I think I aspire to be? Maybe? Anyways, you two seem so chill! What's your SuperLink handles, I wanna add you! Also, where'd you transfer from? Another super school or somewhere else? I'm guessing a super school, because of the Eyeball Baby, but you never know, lots of kids here just came from public schools!"

"Oh, for fucks sake..." Percy Novikov groaned, arriving at the line for Agatha's tent, and seeing his least favorite people in the world clustered around it.

As Chi Mai backed into the tent, she would hear an ancient, withered voice. "Excuse you, child... Have you no manners?" Agatha asked, pinching her nose. While the tent was bigger on the inside than the outside, the smell of Mai's belch still managed to permeate the space as if it had been no bigger than a broom closet. Mai would then feel something brush up against her leg - small, tiny, warm, and vibrating. If she were to turn around, she would see a small black cat with yellow eyes, staring up at her.

The rest of the space looked pretty much as expected - crystal balls, tarot cards, runes, idols, keys, crystals, tomes, and scrolls permeated the space, most of them floating idly through the air. Trunks were piled on top of each other in the back, some of them violently shaking and threatening to send the others crashing down. The old witch herself was seated at a small circular table, wearing a purple dress and shawl, her ancient face looking at Mai with disapproval.

SHIT.

Mai stiffened at the sound of the voice, freezing in fear for a moment. So this is how it would end - hexed to death by an ancient, old, smelly witch in a gassy tent in California shortly after her sixteenth birthday. Exactly how she always knew it would. Brushing up against the furry something behind her, Mai turned around before recoiling back, hissing at the cat. Tiger Mai was attempting to establish her dominance. It...wasn't working. And after a moment, Mai suddenly relaxed her shoulders. In actual cat-like fashion, she was now bored of the catplay. Her predator eyes landed on Agatha. She studied her for a moment, tilting her head before grinning. "Sorry, it was a fear burp. You terrify me." she said as she approached Agatha's table and turned a chair around backwards before plopping down, crossing her arms, and resting her chin on her hands. "S'up?"

A low growl would sound off from behind Mai, as she took a seat. The small black cat was no longer there - in its place was a muscular panther. The panther bared its teeth at Mai, muscles tensing as if about to pounce. "Ebony, dear, take the high ground - this scrawny child is not worth the paperwork," Agatha cautioned, looking at the panther nonchalantly. The panther closed her mouth, and stalked around the table before sitting down next to Agatha, staring at Chi Mai, never letting her eyes waver.

"Mm, now if I do terrify you, child, why are you here? What brings you to my tent?"

"Mm mm." Mai grunted, shaking her head. "You're the fortune teller here, yeah? So you tell me." she spat back, eyes moving from Agatha over to Ebony then back. The fear was still there, sure, but a certain indignation was beginning to grip her, severing fear's hold over her heart. "Because I tried really fucking - err, fricking, sorry - hard to not be here, and yet here I am." she continued, sitting up straight and gesturing around her wildly as she spoke before relaxing her arms once more on the chair. "The universe is being persistent so, like, y'know..." she rolled her hands before letting them hang limply once more on the chair, her posture seeming to deflate as her steam began to run out. She wilted against the chair, pressing her mouth against her arms, muffling her words as she averted her eyes. "Figure it out or something. Why am I here?"

Agatha snorted slightly. Chi Mai was not the first person that day to demand Agatha explain why they had decided to enter her tent. "Is that really the question you wish to have answered?" Agatha asked. A third eye appeared in the middle of Agatha's forehead, as she stared at Chi Mai. Had Agatha been in her place, she would have asked about her real parents - not the poor couple whose baby had been spirited away at the night of Chi Mai's birth. Agatha wondered if Mary Sue would see the humor in such a revelation - an inhuman with a secret terrible lineage.

"But no matter, I will oblige and inquire with the Cards as to why you are here," Agatha obliged. The cards swirled and danced around them, a few of them even whacking lightly up against Chi Mai. When Agatha snapped her fingers, three cards shot out and came to a rest in front of Chi Mai on the table - The Magician, the Page of Swords Reversed, and the Hanged One Reversed. Agatha was not surprised to see two cards of the Major Arcana, the forces of the universe and destiny, in Chi Mai's spread.

For better or worse, almost every person who came into her tent that day had some horrific destiny they were hurtling towards.

"The Major Arcana tells the story of the Fool's journey - a young foolish protagonist, going off on an adventure of self discovery. The first figure that the Fool encounters is the Magician - a powerful and resourceful mage who has all the supplies needed for the work. I sense that you encountered a Magician in your past. A person with skills and artifacts that some may describe as ... inhuman."

"Then, for the present, you drew the Page of Swords, Reversed. This is a card of smoke and mirrors - a card for those who like to make promises they have no means of keeping. You are hiding a secret, Chi Mai. You are making promises that cannot be kept. Should you not avert this behavior, should you consider to hide, deceive, and lie, I see the Hanged One, Reversed. This is a card of indecision and unneeded sacrifice. Your current path will lead to your untimely death. It need not be so."

"So, why are you here, Chi Mai? Because your fate needs to be averted. The deceptions must cease to be - or you will."

As she listened to Agatha speak, Chi Mai was whisked away on an emotional rollercoaster. With the story of the fool, Mai offered a a wide, mocking smile. "Mm, Fool. Cute." she muttered with an eyeroll as the woman spoke, though her light chiding gave way to mild confusion at the odd emphasis placed on inhuman. There was little time to linger on the thought, however, as Agatha continued. While the second card was explained, Mai's smile morphed into a scowl. Was this old hag seriously calling her a liar? The fuck was her problem? Mai pushed back up to a fully seated position, her body tense. She didn't have to take this bullshit.

Yet for as much as Mai wanted nothing more than to kick the chair and leave, she felt compelled to hear the witch out. She regretted it AS it was happening. Mai let Agatha's question linger in the air for a moment as she processed what she had just been told. Her body was stiff, her chin set with her lips pressed against themselves. Her knee bounced with alarming intensity.

"You done?" she asked, her voice threatening to break as she spoke. She tried to focus her narrowed eyes onto Agatha, but she could feel tears threatening to well up if she did so. So she averted her gaze, shaking her head. "So, what, I'm just gonna fucking die unless I...what? Tell some secret? I don't have any fucking secrets! I don't ha..." she exclaimed before trailing off, her knuckles turning white as she gripped the chair's head with all her might.

She finally lifted her head, eyes fixed on Agatha's. "Fuck you." she spit with all the vitriol she could muster, her face scrunching up in disgust as both threats were delivered upon with her cracking voice signaled the start of the tears. "You realize how fucked up it is to just say something like that to somebody, right? Like, I get that you don't like me, that's whatever, but predicting my death is fucked. It's actually fucked. Even if it is just a joke, it's fucked." she rambled, seemingly more to convince herself than to chide Agatha. She wanted to leave. She wanted to get up, flip the table, kick the chair, and leave. But her limbs felt heavy. Too heavy to move.

She was straight up not having a good time.

Agatha stared at Chi Mai with eyes that had seen more than a lifetime's worth of tragedy. She did not flinch at Chi Mai's threats. She remained so still that she could have been mistaken for a statue. Only once silence fell again did Agatha respond, sensing that at least for the moment, Chi Mai was done. "I would not tell you such a thing lightly, Chi Mai," Agatha said calmly. "You have a secret, a grave and dangerous one, whether you realize it or not. Take this opportunity to change your story - before someone else tells it for you."

"You must be willing to face the past, so to that end, I am giving you this," Agatha said, finally standing up. She rummaged about in some drawers, before producing what looked like a small vial of liquid. "Under the light of a full moon, add this to still water, and speak of when and where you wish to glimpse. There is enough for three uses - three glimpses of the past... or the future."

Again, Mai let the words hang suspended in the air for some time as she gathered herself, her eyes dropping to the floor. Her mind was blank. She accepted the vial Agatha offered her without willing herself to do so. She felt spent. The calmness that Agatha wore while telling her of her own demise...the absolute clinical matter-of-fact way she delivered the prediction...Mai wasn't stupid, she knew what it meant. Agatha Harkness had earned her reputation for a reason. Mai's hands curled around the vial, pressing it tight against her chest. The 'gift' only added to the weight of her words, made them feel more real - more oppressive.

"I'm sorry." she said in a tiny voice. "I just...I don't understand..." She felt small. "I'm scared." she whispered. For several moments, Mai remained curled into herself, seemingly unwilling or unable to move. She lifted her head, seemingly preparing to ask another question, but her words caught in her throat and she ultimately decided against it, rising to her feet instead. She lifted the vial, choked out a "Thanks." and slowly shuffled her way to the exit. She hesitated at the flaps, rubbing her forearm across her face before pulling her top up to wipe her face clean. She couldn't go out there and face everyone if she was crying like a little bitch.

Agatha's resolve softened. It was easier to be hard on the students when they were defiant and angry. She saw thousands of scared girls she had encountered over the years in Chi Mai's gaze, the way she lingered in the tent, torn between leaving and staying. "Chi Mai, another moment, please," Agatha beckoned. Another car flew down onto the table - the Four of Swords. The card of rest. Agatha was silent for a moment, parsing its meaning. "It is normal to be frightened. Even for the tiger."

Chi Mai had turned at Agatha's call, though she did not approach the table again. When the fourth card landed and Agatha's reading was given, Mai mulled over it for a moment, nodding. She...was right. Frightened or not, a tiger was still a tiger. She squat down, carefully placing the vial on the floor before slapping both of her palms against her face. Rising back to her feet after palming the vial again, she forced a cheesy smile at Agatha.

"Fuck the universe - I ain't ever dying." she announced before spinning on her heels and bouncing out of the tent. Once exposed to the sun again, Mai lifted her arm to shield her precious eyes from the intense light, searching for her people.

Her safety net.

She broke out into a dead sprint, bounding towards an unsuspecting April, wrapping her arms around the girl from behind. "APRIIIIIL!!!" she yelled, squeezing the life out of the blonde as all hint of the resolve she had muster was promptly discarded.

"THAT FUCKING SUCKED! I SHOULDA JUST WENT WITH YOUUUUU!"

Teddy Thompson

Location: Stark Hall - Lobby
Skills: None Used!

“Oh, wow!” Teddy exclaimed, carefully tapping on his phone. “I guess I’m getting a thousand dollars. Today’s my lucky day.” he chuckled to himself as he did as he was bid and replied ‘Yes’. He couldn’t wait to get further info. It was exciting! When he got Diana’s follow-up, he smiled before returning the phone to his pocket. Looking over towards Mary Sue, he offered a thumbs up. To Ardere he nodded at her dessert question. “It’s ice cream and cake covered in a meringue. It’s the flaming desert you see in movies sometimes, but it’s just as good without burning rum over it. I’ll bring some by next time I bake one. If you want, I mean.”

Teddy would then move towards the elevator, boarding when the doors slid open, and pressing the button for the ground floor once both girls had joined him. When the topic switched to what Kree were, he frowned, scratching his beard. “Uhhm…” Teddy hummed, searching his brain for his notes on alien civilizations. “So Kree are a kind of alien. They’re uhm…well uhh…” he trailed, trying to decide whether it would be rude to just refer to the Kree as ‘human, but blue.’ Wait…were Kree the blue ones? Alien Civ was not his strongest subject.

When the elevator reached the ground floor, Teddy waited for the girls to exit first before following after, moving to take the lead when it dawned on him that they probably didn’t know where they were going. If they made a beeline towards it, it shouldn’t take too long. So beeline towards it he did. There was a perfectly good spaceship to poke around - he was starting to get excited.

Leah Jordan

Location: Agatha's tent... again.
Skills: N/A
First Day Fit

Seeing all of these people interact with each other, Leah felt like a fly on the wall for a moment. She paid close attention to what Mads was saying, and it made sense to her. The runes were divination tools, and each one apparently meant something in the context of something else. "If you two are still planning to go later, I'll catch up with you." She told Mads, before sticking her hand into the pouch of runes. Leah felt around in there, and something about them clicked in her head. The very first rune she pulled out happened to be the one that Mads had described- The trident-shaped Algiz rune. Leah practically stared hole through the tiny rock. Her power always made her acutely aware of the fact that something was made of stone, but there was something odd about how her power was interpreting the stone in her hand. It was magic, so maybe that had something to do with it, she thought. It felt like there was power in the stone itself. Maybe that was normal. Mads had have felt it too, right? Or maybe she didn't, since Mads wasn't holding one.

"We'll, I'll worry about that later. Wh-" Whatever words were about to some out of Leah's mouth were halted by the fact that another one of Leah's... friends had appeared out of literally fucking nowhere. Phan Le Chi Mai. Everyone's favorite goblin. She attacked April like a predator stalking its prey, and she smelled like she had gotten high before doing so. God... Danni's chaotic energy was overwhelming for Leah, but Mai's was just... Something else. They got along, but Mai always knew the right buttons to press to get beneath the stone wall of Leah's exterior. It was weird, but Mai was weird in her own gremlin-y little way. "Holy shit. Mai. Where the hell did you come from, a stoner party? You smell like you've been baking like a cake." Leah was somewhat amused by the way she appeared out of thin fucking air. "Way to make an entrance, you damn goblin." She joked before putting the runes away again.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Avenger's Academy, Fairgrounds
First Day Fit
Skills: N/A
Grimoire: N/A

"I already met Zarina and Andy we all had a little sparring match with the Academy Knights." Madalyne said as Danny went and introduced most of the group to them, she looked at Danny and shaking her head slightly. Of course he didn't want to at least get the books that he needed to know how to raise his little dragon baby. It'll hatch into a little whelpling soon enough anyway, and it was good to get information on the topic as soon as possible. "Well just let me know when you want to get those books, it'll hatch sooner rather than later. Like any newborn it'll be hungry, crying, sleeping, pissing and shitting, like all the time. Which I am never going to clean up so don't even ask me to. And maybe burning your dorm room to the ground to which would be a bad thing to. And whenever is a good time for you Leah just let me know to." She warned Danny she wasn't sure how high maintenance a baby dragon would actually be.

Madalyne watched as Danny and Dorian more or less went into a group hug with April, she admittedly did feel a little bit jealous since April was her bestie and roomie as well to. But she didn't really say anything as she shifted slightly and noticed that Victoria had headed off somewhere else. The group was getting a little bit clustered for her as well to, but she wanted to hangout with all of her friends as well to. Mai came out of Agatha's tent to hearing her reaction it seemed like she must have gotten a bad fortune or something like that. Her attention was turned towards a new face hearing his voice he sounded really annoyed as she looked over towards Percy she wasn't sure who he was talking to really but wanted to be friendly and waved at him. "Hi there i'm Madalyne it's nice to meet you." Madalyne said towards the newcomer.

Diana Novikova

Location: Avenger's Academy, Stark Hall
First Day Fit
Skills: N/A

Diana listened to Zelda as she mentioned about a costume for Percy that would work for his powers which was interesting to her, and maybe she'd hit her up on that subject with her at some point as well to later. It seemed that the both of them weren't really interested as she nodded towards them. "Thats totally fine, i'm planning on seeing her once I finish that." Diana said, her brother got up and started to make his way over towards Agatha's tent and turned to Zelda. "Offer still stands if you want to come but totally up to you Zelda." Diana said to Zelda as she stood up and started to make her way over there.

Diana stopped for a moment when she heard her brother's reaction as she passed the tent and shook her head slightly seeing that Danny, and Dorian were there. And after seeing what happened earlier with her brother getting set on fire and possessed by Dorian was kind of amusing that he bumped into the two of them again maybe he should have gone with her towards the spaceship instead. Diana noticed that Vicky was heading there to and gave her a slight wave. "Hey there Vicky how are you doing?" Diana asked her.

Ardere Terrane

"That sounds...really good." Ardere remarked, "I would like to try a slice the next time you come over. Maybe I can send one home in Vermont." She contemplated as she walked with Teddy and Mary. They all entered the elevator without much fanfare although Ardere looked at the much larger student. His beard made her imagine what her older brother would look like if he grew facial hair. She immediately banished that thought from her mind; Ardere wouldn't find sleep tonight if her brother showed up with a goatee or mustache.

"Kree...are...aliens." The redhead repeated, before looking at Mary as if the answer was written all over her face. "Are they the ones that invaded New York City? Or was that a different city? How come we're the only nation that gets visited by aliens?" She mumbled as she walked towards the Kree spaceship. Truth is, Ardere didn't expect much. Then again, she didn't know what to expect out of that contraption.

She grimaced. The redhead didn't mean to think so ungratefully; this is a spaceship after all. This is a marvel of alien engineering that would no doubt accelerate human sciences by a century.

Zelda Flynn

Location: Carnival - Food Trucks
Skills: N/A

She listened to what Percy said with regards to what to base the main form of the potential costume, and she nodded her head a bit. "I mean sure, it'd be a fun little project... As mentioned not entirely all for the being the hero type person. But maybe making a school uniform looking thing that is a lot more durable and could shift to go with what time you land in would be interesting to attempt to do..." she commented with a bit of a shrug. It did make her feel a little better though about why she was at the school with someone seemingly taking a bit of an interest in what she wanted to do.

Percy seemed intent on going to see Agatha though now, and she had already stopped by the tent at that point, so she wasn't too sure about stopping by there again especially since there might be a line or something there now. "I'll see you later then Percy..." she said to him with a wave, as her attention turned towards Diana now. "Well... I don't have anything else to do... So sure?" she commented, before following along after Diana.

Zarina Raynordattir

Location: the Field (School Carnival)
Skills: Technopathy
First Day Outfit

Well there was quite a few people currently at the tent though, and one of them was definitely not making a great impression on her at this point. "You do realize that basically insulting someone's outfit choice is probably the worst thing you could do when you introduce yourself right? Not everyone cares about clothing choices, since that was a bit mean," she said towards Danny, coming to Andy's defense on that front, though the fact that Danny and Dorian seemed to think that she was a freshman was just downright insulting. This group was seriously not exactly making a great first impression on her at all.

Though things shifted slightly when she heard April say something and asked if she was a SHIELD kid. "I am, and call me greenie again and you're going to get stabbed by something, plus my hair is dyed and not naturally green. My name is Zarina Raynordattir, or Zari. I also already knew who April was... And freshman? I'm older then she is!" it did help that Zari could more easily place names to faces, so even though she didn't really know April at all, she could still remember her name and face for the most part. "And uh no, actually homeschooling. Helps when your mom is an electrical engineer and robotics expert really. Plus the whole being a technopath thing is kind of useful too."

Dorian seemed to be taking a bit of an interest in Mr. Eyeball, and she shrugged. "My mom and I built him, and he's basically one of my best friends, he's known as Mr. Eyeball. I need to see about maybe trying to get a laser installed so he can do that sort of thing which would be super fun to have happen. Currently working on another robot of sorts that's more of a work in progress."

Then she heard a very familiar voice and turned to look over and she smiled seeing Percy there now. "Peeeeeeeeeeeercy!!!!" she said happily, before giving him a hug without caring what he thought about that, but she let go after a moment. "I haven't seen you in what feels like foreveeeeeeeer!"

Dorian Gray

Location: Agatha's
Skills: First Day Fit

Dorians attention flipped faster than the pages of a Captain Underpants book. Head swiveling as Andy mentioned laying Leah out with just one kick. That was badass. Anyone who could knock someone out with a single kick was destined to be some super cool hero. Hopefully she was going to get placed into his team, if not…she'd be a threat during the Contest of Champions. He'd have to remember that. He listened as she mentioned her mom potentially summoning some snacks for Mai, and it gave him a great idea with loads of questions.

"Back up a min chère, did you say your mot'er can summon delicious snacks? T'ats so cool! My dad uses Magic too, or one of t'em does at least. You are soooo invited to movie night if you want to come! But uh…if your mom 'as any more tasty snacks I wouldn't mind them finding t'ere way t'ere too." Dorian asked with the best set of puppy dog eyes money could buy. It seemed a few of the people here already knew Zarina and Andy, Mads fought with them, April knew her from a postcard or something, and clearly they knew each other. So if that many people already ok'd them then surely they must've been kinda cool right? It felt as if he'd already put his proverbial foot in his mouth as Zari seemingly snapped towards Danni and him. That was a major party foul and he wasn't about to have it, but Danni could also handle his own fights if he even registered that Zari spoke to him at all.

"Shouldn't 'appen again chère. I simply didn't know your name and figured t'at was better t'an robot eye baby like April over 'ere." he chuckled as he continued to inspect the eyeball, temptation driving him to want to poke it in the Iris. When Zari mentioned he was basically her best friend he thought that was extremely sad. How lonely must a kid be to build their own best friend? It wouldn't do, they'd have to save these poor souls from fashion and friendship! Like She-Ra! Dorian could practically see the flags of friendship waving behind him as he stood in a majestic pose within his mind, helping out these two transfer students. He would've commented on her powerset, or even April's connection between the robotic eye and Owl House, hell even Mai made an appearance once more and he'd desperately cared to see what her reading was, but all of that was thrown right out the window as he heard a familiar voice.

Dorian didn't dare to turn around, afraid of who he might see. But he already knew that voice too well with how often they'd run into each other that day. When he turned around he saw the agitated face of his future cosmic love, Percy Novikova (don't worry guys he'll get it right at some point). He watched as Zari pelted him with a hug, wondering how she didn't burst into flames given his demeanor. All he could offer him was an apologetic look as he mouthed I'm sorry towards him before giving him a crooked smile. He felt bad for having possessed him, worse that Danny had ruined his jacket. HIS JACKET. Ooooh my god Danni was still using it as an egg incubator, this was bad, it'd look bad, and Dorian was freaking out. His face instantly flushed pink with embarrassment as he tried to find a way to salvage this situation, trying to distract from another patented Danni-ism.

Dorian made his way over towards Percy's side, away from Danni so that if he engaged in conversation out of social etiquette then he wouldn't see him. His demeanor had clearly changed from before, where as he was cool and confident while talking to the newbies, now he was a bit more introverted and unsure. He was walking on eggshells around this freshman and he hated how it felt. "Sooooo Zari you know t'is guy? I've known 'is sister but it's today's t'e first time I've actually gotten to meet 'im." This seemed stupid and like a bad move, but he was already in too deep.
