Janelle Gauger

Location: Burger King
Skills: N/A

She was unsure what was going on, or who the voice belonged to immediately when the woman spoke to her. It only took her a second to figure out who the voice belonged to, and now was wondering why the hell a goddess seemed to be interested in what was going through her mind. Before she can seemingly ask about it though, Aphrodite gave her two things, which stuck out a bit in her mind, and she was definitely confused in general about this whole situation. Why was the goddess giving her anything? It did not make sense to her.

Janelle felt along the box, before opening it up, and finding there was a pair of glasses within the box. Plus apparently she was supposed to get Zeke to drink something or whatever, or well, she could anyway. "Why are you givin dese to me?" she couldn't help but ask the goddess, unsure of what else to do. Though she wasn't entirely sure what it was that the goddess had given her with regards to what was in the vial, or why she'd give her glasses that were magic or anything. It just didn't make any sense to her. Then she heard a very familiar voice at the door. You have got to be kidding. "Just a minute." she responded to Zeke's voice.

Well there being only one room left was lucky, he wasn't too sure with their room being all the way on the fourth floor, he would have preferred something a little bit closer to the ground floor. Mainly because it would have been easier to find an escape route, since once you keep going up in a building, it makes it a bit more difficult to defend or escape. Especially if in their case, they were attacked by monsters or something.

He followed along after Niah as she led the way to their room, which was rather small, but considering the fact that it was the last room, that wasn't exactly surprising to him. The other instance of a problem was the fact that there was only one bed in the room. Niah instantly grabbed some stuff to make a bed for herself and laying down on the floor, "I would 'ave taken de floor you can 'ave de bed if you want it," he said to her.

She nodded her head when Andy made the comment about the whole situation with taking Damon along with them to see about getting him back to camp. "Yeah, seeing about getting you out of here would be a bonus on our quest, considering I don't think most people know you're still here, so we'll see about getting you back to camp," Mary said, giving him a bit of a smile. She wasn't sure on how things were going to go essentially having an extra person tagging a long with them, but she was perfectly fine with them seeing about getting him back home to camp.

When Damon got them some blankets and all, and commented about the pillows, and she just sort of shrugged her shoulders a bit. Personally she was a bit more relaxed when she was outside and in nature, not overly caring about whether or not there were beds or anything like that. "Fine with me, I don't care too much about beds or pillows, so it works for me," she commented with a shrug.

Stella let out a small sigh of relief that the hotel let them keep Arbor, because there was no way she was going to leave him outside, not after those monsters in the cafe. She gently gathered up his leash and took the key card that was given to her and listened to the hotel clerk as he explained the amenities they could use. She doubted they would take advantage of them, as the goal was got get some shut eye and then catch their train again in the morning. "Thank you." She followed Jason and Niah to the elevator and piled in with them and headed up to the fourth floor.

Stella went into the room and went to sit on the couch, letting one of them take the bed as they wee going to sleep first. She saw Niah grab some blankets and pillows and lay out on the floor, and simply nodded. It seemed that Jason would get the bed if he wanted. "I'll wake you when I'm ready to swap then. Sleep well Niah." Stella curled up a bit on the couch, and patted the spot next to her. Arbor jumped up next to her and curled up next to her and put his head in her lap. He needed rest too, and she wasn't going to deny him that. It had been a long day for all four of them. "Jason, you can take the bed... since I'm on first watch. I don't mind."

Harrisburg, Hotel near, Amtrak Train Station:

Inside of the room it was a pretty average hotel room, the bed was large enough to fit at least two people in it if they wanted and a single couch to sit in with a coffee table in front of it. As well as a small bathroom with a shower, along with a mini kitchen and fridge which if any of them did check there was some soda for them to have, and some snacks to if any of them wanted to take some. There was a flat screen tv as well for them to watch TV if they wanted the remote was laying on the coffee table. So far the room was pretty quiet and nothing was going on at the moment yet anyway.

Location: New York City

With the siege weapons disabled and destroyed there were a few more Telekines that were fighting against the other merpeople defending the camp. Hercules looked at Leda and nodded as he continued to run off taking on a few cyclopes as well swinging his club at them sending them falling into a few Telekines which killed them with ease. Kiera looked at her sister and smiled towards her wishing that she could take out some more. "I'm sure that there will be more to kill soon enough." Kiera told her as she ran forward swinging her sword at the little sea demons managing to take out three of them with her sword.

There was a sound like a horn going off however which the telekines and Cyclops stopped for a moment before they suddenly started to retreat again. Some of the merpeople were cheering thinking that they might have won the fight, for now anyway, as Keira made her way over towards Leda. "Are you alright, do you think we won?" Kiera asked her girlfriend. Things have gotten rather quiet all of a sudden which Kiera thought was really weird when one of the merpeople came over towards them. "We'll send some scouts out unless you three want to?" He said to the three of them.

Madalyne Crane

Madalyne made her way over towards the window and made sure that her sword was out and at the ready just in case something did come out and attack them in the middle of the night. She pulled out a chair and leaned back slightly as she looked over at Andy as she started to curl up into her makeshift bed. Damon made his way towards his bed and started to fall asleep, her eyes turned towards Mary and gave her a slight nod. "Get some shut eye." Madalyne said as her attention turned towards the outside of the window as she and Mary could hear what sounded like some horses.

Outside Madalyne noticed a group of horses making their way towards the house of sorts, seeing them grazing at the ground she thought was a little bit weird. "Do you know anything about horses?" Madalyne asked looking over at Mary, Andy would be woken up rather quickly now as he growled outside and started to bark. Madalyne didn't trust that these were normal horses at all really knowing that they were in the Labyrinth and all the horses then turned their attention towards the cottage and some hissing could be heard coming from them.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Philadelphia Amtrak Station
Skills: N/A

Alexios looked at Demi offering him some mortal food, he had tried mortal food before some of it was good but from places like these the food to him was terrible, he had no idea why mortals now these days always preferred more processed food than opposed to natural stuff. "Gods can eat just about anything seeing as some of us are responsible for most of the things you mortals have these days." Alexios said as he looked at his soon to be husband. "Just get me something that you like." He told him as he started to make his way over towards the girls where Demi introduced him.

Kristin nearly spat out her drink and choked on it and started to cough several times as she looked between Demi and Alexios as he waved to the two of them. "Well this quest just keeps getting more and more interesting by the minute." Kristin said as she looked up at Cassian who joined up shortly after them. "We are just having some girl talk is all." Kristin kept it pretty vague she didn't want to say anything about it in front of Demi. "Nice to meet you all." Alexios said as he looked at Nancy and shrugged slightly. "It was my mother's idea and his father's idea to wed us which I didn't know until a few minutes ago." Alexios told her both Demi's and Cassian's orders would be called.

Aphrodite looked at Janelle and smiled towards her gently wrapping an arm around the girl's shoulder. "I'm just helping a girl who's heart has been broken by two brutish men is all." She said as she gently took the pair of glasses and put them on for Janelle, she'd be able to actually see for the first time. "They look lovely on you, and as for the other thing I gave you, well you'll just have to wait and see." Aphrodite said when Zeke knocked on the door and Janelle answered him the goddess was gone now.

Demetri Rowan Howell

Location: Burger King
Skills: Shapeshifting

Nancy seemed just as shocked as Demetri was when he'd heard the news. He couldnt tell if she was surprised by the sudden announcement or if her surprise was towards the fact the he was with a god. She clearly never had much of a good idea of Demi, not so much as giving him the time of day unless Zeke was around and practically made it happen. So to think that she'd find his bethrothal to a god not only shocking, but humorous, and an impossibility was likely within her reach. Once the threats started coming out however, Demetri held his hands up in surrender. "Don't look at me, I had no idea until after Alexios was told. My last meeting with Aphrodite kind of dropped the news on both of us at the same time. Like he said, Zeus and Aphrodite made some sort of pact we aren't privy to and now we're betrothed." He took a step back, hands still up for a moment before he shoved them down into his pants pockets. He'd never wilingly put Zeke through any of this torment that he was currently going through, between Janelle, his sexual awakening, and now this sudden betrothal, Demetri wouldn't wish this on anybody. He couldn't help but feel responsible for it all though. He'd read enough Greek Tragedies to know how love usually ended in them. If the gods deemed it worthy enought to meddle in (and they clearly did for them) then it was full of hurdles, tricks, and turns that would test the couples limits of their relationships. Most ended in tragedy, in one form or another, and Demetri couldnt quite tell which of the two scenarios would be worse to him; if Zeke was the one that lived and had to deal with the fall out of it all, or if he was the one to perish because of a mistake Demi made. He tried to push those thoughts away as he focused back onto the conversation just in time to hear the cashier call his order out. Saved by the King. "Thats my cue, you four get acquainted while I go get our food and order something for Alexios. K? k."

Demetri peeled away from the growingly awkward conversation and dark thoughts as he made his way towards the counter. He let out a heavy sigh with a face of dread before wiping it all clean and plastering on a smile for the Burger King employee. "Sorry mate, mind if I add another order? Friend over there decided he was actually a bit peckish. Just a small chocolate shake and small fries please?" He grabbed the tray before him, lifting it carefully to ensure that he didnt drop it as he made his way back over towards the table, sliding the tray down towards the wall end as he slid in after it, placing his bag to his immediate left to save a space for Zeke in the event that Alexios got any ideas of trying to snag that seat. He handed out the food for each of them before gingerly picking up a fry, inspecting it, and then taking a small bite before flashing Alexios a closed mouth smile. "Got your food order put in mate, shouldn't take too long as I didn't order much. Not quite sure what you like or if you care for spicy food or even greasy food, I did however get you a classic that never seems to fail." He flashed the god a cheeky smile before looking back over his shoulder. What was taking Zeke so long? Surely he'd managed to clean the icecream all off by now? Demi felt a pit inside his stomach, worried that perhaps Zeke was using this time to process it all. Looking himself in the mirror as he decided whether or not to end things with Demetri. And who could blame him? Demi certainly wouldn't. It'd hardly been a day and look at how much he'd already royally fucked up his life. Perhaps they were best left to be frenemies that hid their feelings in the halls of the infirmary lost in the pages of books during those warm summer days. He let out another, softer, sigh as the employee came back with the rest of his order and called it out. Demetri slunk himself out of his seat, grabbing the pair of items before heading back and handing them to Alexios. [color=6666FF]"Here. Chocolate Shake and fries. You take this, put it here, and then..."[color] Demi demonstrated as he dipped a fry into the shake before pulling it out and taking a bite.

Cassian Rudenko

The girls seemed to be taking the news about as well as the boys had. Which is to say with shock and awe as they tried to wrap their minds around the idea that good ol' Demetri seemed to have somehow managed to bag a god. Cassian was more than certain that this wasn't some sort of boon or favor of the gods however. If anything this was more likely to be a punishment by the god of gods and ruler of the skies. Why? Cassian didn't know. Anything could have pestered Zeus, or even Aphrodite for that matter. The more he thought on it the more it made sense. The way the goddess might be seeing it is that Demi meddled in her affairs when he won over Zeke instead of Janelle. Janelle now full of heartache could of caught the attention of the goddess while Demi caught her ire. So she meddled in with his life, making his powers go haywire for a moment which of course would catch the attention of Zeus who then demands her to stop but given she is older this little matter had to be settled in a way that they both win. Demi gets to marry a god and have one to aid them along in their quest against a titan and Aphrodite gets to cause further strife by introducing in a third party member to help meddle in the love affairs of the two young demi-gods. Its a win win. Cassian was a bit proud of his potential deduction as Demi got up and left to grab their food. Cassian turned to Nancy and Kristin as he mouthed to them Is everything ok? Before motioning with his head towards the ladies room that Janelle had gone off to. He wasn't expecting them to give a full answer, but he hoped that he could at the very least manage to get a yes or no to help him see just how long this quest is going to end up being.

Demi came back with the food and Cass simply gave him his thanks as he took his shake and fries. He wrapped both hands around the sides of his cup, pulling it closer to himself as he took a sip from his shake and smiled. While Cassian normally preffered the sweet taste of fresh fruits or honey, there was an oddly satisfying taste to some artificial flavours, especially when it came to milk shakes. He took another sip, thinking back towards him as he recalled the days he and his mother would travel out to town and get some Steak and Shake. Now those were some rediculous flavours. His favorite being the cotton candy. He was quiet for a while, hardly noticing when Demi left the second time. Cassian rolled his eyes before taking a bite of his own fries. "Yes yes Demi got himself another beau. Can we move past this and figure out what the next step in our plan is? As lovely as this train ride has been, it seems to be moving at a slower rate than any of us would care to go. We need a faster option, something that can get us over towards the other half of the U.S. as quickly as possible. Surely there's something we could take? Some quick mythical beast to ride or something."

Seraphina Cedergren

Location: New York City

Sera was sorta glad that the monsters retreated, but hearing the silence wasn't all that reassuring. Of course they hadn't won this. Those telekines and cyclopes' would probably come back soon enough when they least expected. So when one of the merpeople asked if they wanted to go out and scout around for them... she knew it wasn't the end. "Well, I dont mind if these two agree to go." Seraphina commented while looking over at Leda and Kiera. If they didn't go then she wouldn't. Only because she was still learning the hang of controlling the ocean and fighting against monsters. She wanted to help but still needed help with things herself.

Andy snapped awake, her hand on her dagger, ready to pull it into its complete form. She stood up and joined Madalyne. "What are they?" She asked. Horses didn't hiss. Also, the likelihood of normal horses in the Labyrinth felt basically impossible. She was no Posiden's kid so horses weren't her thing. She had Griffin. However, that was back at the camp. Part of her wished she had brought it along too.

She looked over to Damon to see if he knew anything. If anyone did, it stood to reason he would. However, Mary was someone who Andy trusted a lot with information. Mary had spent most of the summer and year leading up to this quest teaching her everything she needed to know about being a demigod. But obviously, there were still some gaps in her knowledge. At least she could read now.

Niah simply waved off Jason. She missed her cot, but she was not going to risk sleeping on a bed at this point. It'd be too comfy, and she wouldn't want to get up ever again. Just sink into it and pass out. The first night back at camp after a quest was always like that. Also, she hadn't stayed in hotels normally while on quests, especially on the one with Nancy.

As Niah fell asleep, she decided she would see about getting an Iris message to Nancy and Mads and check in on them the next morning. She missed her friends. Jason and Stella were fine. But it wasn't the same. The hours on the train had been sent in near silence. But she remembered the train ride with Mads and Nancy. She had learned how to use the Mist on that trip. As she fell asleep, she dreamed of dragons, gold, and long stretches of road.

Janelle Gauger

Location: Burger King
Skills: N/A

"I stell dahn't really get why you want to 'elp me, but u, ahkay?" she managed to say, things were kind of going by in a bit of a whirlwind sort of situation for her. This was weird, the fact that the goddess of love decided to help her in anyway was beyond weird. Her attention quickly was diverted from that situation, to the object that Aphrodite then placed on her face. That being a pair of glasses, but not really just any sort of glasses. Suddenly she was able to actually see the world around her. Though she wasn't sure how she felt about one of the first things she saw was the bathroom of a fast food restaurant or the first person being the love goddess.

Her attention shifted back towards the bathroom door, and when she looked at where Aphrodite was, she was gone. Well this was definitely going to be a bit awkward. Seeing things through the glasses were very disorienting for her, and it took a minute for her to get her bearings on everything. Janelle relied on her hearing so much, trying to adapt to being able to see anything was a bit of a challenge. Though she was thinking about removing the glasses for now at least until she might actually need them, she stopped herself.

A small part of her was a bit curious as to what Zeke actually looked like and not basing anything off of the descriptions she was given. What exactly made him so special again or something like that? Taking a bit of a deep breath, she walked over, before opening the door just a small amount so she could kind of peek out, but not enough for someone to actually walk through. For a moment, she managed to look into Zeke's face, and he'd be able to see that she was actually looking at him, as opposed to her eyes never focusing on one spot or anything like that. She quickly shut the door again, before removing the glasses off of her face, returning once again to the darkness before putting everything into her pocket that Aphrodite had given her. The guy actually was kind of cute even if it looked like someone had thrown food or something like that into his face, which didn't exactly help the whole situation that had happened before.

Janelle once again opened the door, this time without the glasses, as she headed out of it, "De bathroom is all yours," she said somewhat quietly to him as she started to walk away from him, not even caring too much about what had seemingly happened with regards to that situation.

Jason Gauger

Location: The Hotel

He just sort of shrugged a little bit when Niah sort of declared that she was going to stay on the ground instead of in the bed. Jason wasn't entirely sure what to think with regards to them going on with their quest at this point, since they still had a long way to go at this point before they could actually potentially accomplish their goal. If the train kept having some issues because they were onboard, he wasn't entirely sure what else they could do to get going faster, since that would stop them every stop really.

Jason glanced over towards Stella when she made the comment, and he sat down on the bed, "i feel like we're goin to be able to set 'ere all night arguin over who pahtentially gets de bed at dis point," he couldn't help but comment towards her. This was definitely going to be interesting overall trying to figure out where they were going to go after this. Jason wasn't exactly super tired at the moment, the sort of too tired to fall asleep sort of thing. He'd probably doze off eventually, just might take a little while.

Marygold Isley

Location: The Labyrinth
Skills: N/A

Mary was perfectly fine with the idea of getting some sleep. It would be nice to maybe potentially rest a little bit before they headed onwards to try and reach their end goal. Of course how they were going to complete their quest was up in the air. The thought also crossed her mind with regards to the magic map they had. Damon had gotten stuck here when his group had lost the map to the Sphinx. What would happen if they had managed to lose it or something like that? They'd end up stuck in the Labyrinth too.

She shook her head, getting rid of that thought, as Madalyne caused her attention to turn towards what was going on outside of the cabin. Namely, the horses that were out and about. Which suddenly decided to turn their attention towards their little hideout. And was that hissing? "...Well considering normal horses don't hiss... I'm guessing those are probably flesh eating horses, which is not a good thing since they seem to know we're here and if the name doesn't give it away, they like to eat other animals... And people."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Burger King
Skills:

Ezekiel knew that laugh. He hung his head back and shut his eyes. Great. He leaned against one of the walls while he waited, contemplating the position he had put himself in. Ezekiel went through several scenarios in his headAA about what a conversation with Janelle would be like now. In conclusion, he didn’t anticipate there being much of one, even though he wished there could be.
The bathroom door started to open, and Ezekiel shifted his position to look at Janelle. And she was looking right at him. Zeke cocked his head to the side, noting the glasses on her face. He opened his mouth to speak, but the door instantly closed. Ezekiel frowned. His mind was whirring. She definitely looked at him, saw him. That steady gaze was one Ezekiel wasn’t used to. Not that her wandering gaze ever mattered to him.
The door opened again, and Janelle reappeared but without the glasses on her face. She announced the bathroom was all his before walking back towards the main restaurant. Zeke took a step towards her, reaching out, but pulled his hand back. He could ask her a bunch of questions, but she had taken the glasses off, which told Zeke that maybe she didn’t want to answer a bunch of questions.
”Thanks, Janelle,” Zeke said before he entered the washroom. He went straight to the sink and started to wash the dried, sticky ice cream off his face and neck. After that, he pulled out an extra shirt from his bag and quickly changed shirts to clean the soiled shirt. He didn’t want to linger in the woman’s washroom long, so he quickly cleaned up. Zeke ran his wet hands through his hair to clean up a bit before he picked up his bag again. He then patted his face with his clean shirt but decided not to dry off his face completely. After, he grabbed his wet shirt and headed back into the restaurant.
Zeke saw his group and headed toward Demetri. He glanced at Janelle; a pang was felt in his chest before he looked away and sat down in the space next to Demetri. ”Did you get us some fries to share?”

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Burger King
Skills: N/A

Nancy raised an eyebrow as the young god explained - or rather, just said a vague explanation, without more to it. "I didn't know the gods were still betrothing teen demigods these days," she said bluntly. There was a pinprick of fear that danced on the back of her neck at the thought. She had honestly assumed the practice was outdated, banished to ancient times. The notion that Apollo could marry her off, like cattle to be traded and sold... It made Nancy want to run screaming to her aunt's hunt all the more quickly. And gave her a rare moment of pity for Demi. Her eyes trailed off after him as he went to go and fetch the food.

Cassian seemed really irritated with the speed that they were traveling at. Nancy, to be honest, was not too concerned with the pace. Cross country travel was always going to be slow. But if she were to truly examine her own feelings, it was because she did not mind delaying the journey to the Lotus Hotel. Moving at the train's pace meant that she wasn't hurtling towards it as fast as could possibly be. One option did pop into her head though. They wouldn't be able to take advantage of it until the next morning, but perhaps Apollo might give them a lift in the Sun Chariot.

But Nancy did not want to see her father.

Instead, she fixed her gaze on the minor god. "I don't suppose you have a winged chariot hidden away somewhere?" she prompted.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Under the Sea

A horn cried out and the invading force began to retreat, what remained of it at least. Some of the merpeople were cheering, celebrating the victory. But Leda was unconvinced. This had been too easy, too fast, too quick. She liked things that were fast - she preferred things to be that way - but she didn't trust this. There had to be something more. If this had been everything Camp Fishblood was up against, then they didn't need three heroes on a quest to come here. This was probably just the beginning.

"I feel like they were probs just testing us, seeing where we're strong - and where we aren't," Leda answered Kiera honestly. "Or maybe I'm just being a pessimist. But either way, I don't trust this. I feel like that was just the first wave." One of the merpeople then approached, asking if they wouldn't mind scouting, so clearly Leda's thoughts were echoed. Sera quickly agreed to it, stipulating that Kiera and Leda would have to come. "Sure, sounds like a smashing time."

Stella simply shrugged at the point when Niah waved Jason off. She was glad that he did finally sit down on the bed, as it made sense one of them should use it. The couch would be enough for her and Arbor, and she could just curl up on it once her watch was over. "No sense arguing to me honestly. Enjoy the bed Jason. I'll make sure to wake Niah when it is time to switch." She did let her gaze land on the tv for a moment but she decided against it. She didn't want to see the local news talking about some rampage at the coffee shop, or some other news talk about seagulls on the train.

She pet Arbor softly and made sure to keep her eyes on the windows and the door as she sat there, keeping her mind occupied. She had gotten a somewhat crash course. Don't use technology to look up monsters as that might summon them, got that. Don't use technology to contact her family. She had already used an Iris message the day before to contact her fathers. She might contact them again once this quest was over. Not during. It didn't make sense to worry them so much. They had enough on their plates at the moment, even if she wanted to let them know they suddenly had a new dog. Another time.

Harrisburg, Hotel near, Amtrak Train Station:

About an hour or so into the watch there was a rather loud knocking on the door that would wake up both Niah and Jason as well from their sleep as a man's voice came through the door. "Hello house keeping?" The voice said loudly as the door started to shake a little bit as if someone was trying to get through the door. Someone was really wanting to get into their hotel room by the looks of it, whether it was actually house keeping or if it was a monster they couldn't tell yet maybe someone should look through the peephole in the door to see who it actually was. They would then see the doorknob slowly moving maybe they had a room key to get in to, there was a chain lock and a deadbolt lock as well to on the door.

"It did seem a little bit to easy." Kiera had to agree with her girlfriend as she looked at Sera and nodded, she didn't mind scouting out ahead and to see what was actually going on and maybe see if we can sabotage whatever operation that they have cooked up next for us." Kiera suggested as the merperson nodded and waved over his hand as three hippocampi came forward with three other merpeople holding onto some reins and handed it towards them. "Here you guys go, any sign of trouble the three of you get back to camp as soon as possible." He told them as Kiera nodded and started to climb up onto her own hippocampi.

"I'll stay and help." Hercules said as Kiera nodded towards him as she looked towards her girlfriend and half-sister. "C'mon lets get going then." Kiera said as she moved the reins of her hippocampi and started to move it forward. The sea creature started to move quickly as it swam through the water. When it came to a stop at a rather large looking ridge, Kiera stopped her hippocampi and climbed off of it, slowly making her way and peered over the ridge. Kiera could see Oceanus in the distance carrying what looked to be Poseidon's trident in his hands. There were thousands of telekines, cyclops and even a few sirens as well to, the army looked more than what the camp could handle really.

Madalyne Crane

Madalyne could hear more hissing from the horses as they started to turn their full attention towards the cabin that they were holded up in. She turned to Mary as she started to explain what they were, she liked to think that she knew a lot about their world but sadly she either forgot about what the Flesh Eating Horses were or she just didn't know them. "They sound like loads of fun." Madalyne said as she stood up drawing out her sword, she started to peek her head out again and started to count them, she could see about ten of them.

"I can only see ten of them." Madalyne said as she jumped slightly when one of the horses charged forward throwing it's body against the door, the group would noticed that the door had splintered slightly from the impact. And another loud hissing sound came from the horse that charged at the door. "We need to get out of here." Damon said as he gestured towards the back of the cabin where the back door was, then it charged again at the door it's head managing to break through and started hissing trying to take a bite out of whoever was close by.

Kristin looked at Cassian and gave him a slight shrug, she didn't really want to say it wasn't really her place to actually say what Janelle had said and what she was feeling right now. She leaned back slightly as she started to eat her chicken fries and dipped them in the ranch sauce that came with it. Of course Cassian thought it was slow getting from here already, but it was probably the cheapest way to get to where they needed to actually go. "I don't think we would be able to pay for like seven plane tickets on short notice they are really expensive now these days." Kristin said to him.

Alexios turned to Demi and smiled towards him. "Whatever food you get me is completely fine." He said to him as Demi got up and went to get him some food. His attention turned towards Nancy asking if he had something like Apollo's chariot to get them to where they needed to faster. Though I don't have a sun chariot like your father does, would a party bus work?" Alexios offered looking over at the group figuring that it was probably the better option.

"It does tend to get loud though." He warned as Demi came back with his food, he noticed a little bit of the milkshake on Demi's face, and grabbed a napkin and whipped it off of his face. "I wouldn't want your pretty face to be covered in that stuff." Alexios said Kristin rolled her eyes slightly as she looked at the others. "Whichever the group wants to do, the train tickets are already paid for so we can continue on until we reach the end of our line or take Alexios' offer." Kristin said with a slight shrug. Kristin's attention turned towards Janelle as she came back and moved slightly to let her take a seat, shortly after that came along Zeke as Alexios spoke up. "Oh Demi and I are already sharing some fries." He said wrapping an arm around Demi giving Zeke a smile clearly trying to annoy Zeke. Alexios' eyes the briefly went to Janelle for a moment giving her a friendly smile, but didn't say anything else really.

The girl nodded in agreement. It'd be best to have more hands on deck if they ran into trouble than to face it head on right now. Who knows what sort of things they'd find when scouting out the area. Seraphina got onto her hippocampi, taking the reins and headed off. When they got to the ridge the young girl also stopped her hippocampi to get off and look over the edge. "Oh that isn't a good thing.... We'd need a whole army ourselves!" She spoke quietly in order to not have the monsters notice them. "Thats dads trident right?" She asked when seeing the weapon in Oceanus' hands. It was amazing seeing a Greek gods weapon, but it was going to be difficult getting it back that was for sure!

Demetri Rowan Howell

Demetri didn’t catch Nancy’s look of pity towards him. Even if he had he more than likely wouldn’t have recognized it as such. He beamed with delight as he heard Zeke’s voice coming from behind him, ignoring both Cassian and Nancy’s comments about moving the quest along as another pang of jealousy hit for a brief moment as he noticed that both he and Janelle had come back at almost similar times. Had they been talking it out? It didn’t appear like they had, or if they did it clearly didn't go too well if they still weren’t talking to each other. He noted that Zeke was wearing a different shirt. Sure the last one got dirty but couldn’t he just have rinsed it out with some water and then dabbed at it with a paper towel? Demi tried not to think too much of it. It was made easier as he felt a brush against his skin and saw Alexios wiping some milkshake off of his face. He looked between him and Zeke, hoping this wouldn’t spark another fight between them, they’d just started to get along together. ”Thanks mate, but I was saving that for Zeke. Only fair after I snagged a bit of his ice cream earlier right?” He replied as he let all of that interaction slip off him like water off a duck's back. It didn’t seem that Alexios was going to back off from this bit though, clearly looking to press his boyfriends buttons. It was hard to have to be the one who had to keep their cool and consistently make jokes to help keep the flames down, but it was something Demi was used to. All he did was run away from his problems anyways, so how was this any different?

Demetri wrapped his left arm around Zeke’s waist, pulling him in closer as he used his right hand to wrap around Alexios’ neck like you would a friend. ”I wouldn’t call me demonstrating you Earth’s lovely customs of dipping fries into shakes sharing, more so a food tax for having done so. Think of it as…my offering for being so…well awesome!” He planted a kiss on Zeke’s cheek before pulling away from both of them and sliding each of them their own respective foods to eat, placing the pie he ordered in between Zeke and himself. ”I’m stealing a bite of that pie I got you Z. After all, ‘One must always share pie.’ “ He said as if a line spoken from another time between them. ”Now if you’ll excuse me, I would like to finish my burger. You guys can decide which way we go. Party Bus, Train, each is a metal death trap full of monsters that sound equally exhausting. So I'm fine with either way of travel. Unless any of you have some sway with Hecate and can have her just open a portal from here to there, I don't see a point in even discussing it. If the gods want us to succeed we will, if they don’t then we won't. Simple as that.” Demi r emarked before taking a large bite out of his burger the had dipped in buffalo sauce.

Finally someone with some semblance of common sense. Nancy was also willing to see if there were other modes of transportation other than the train they were previously on. She even went as far to ask their new ally if he had any godly way to help them get across the states faster than mortal means. He hadn’t expected Alexios to offer a literal party bus, but it made sense given his divinity. Cassian wondered if the bus had any magical properties to make it move faster than mortal means, or at the very least make it so that they didn’t have to fight monsters every step of the journey, making them slow down even more. He wasn’t aware of Nancy’s fears, as far as he was concerned her greatest weakness was the Lotus Hotel itself. He didn’t think much beyond that, so to him the idea of this bus seemed like…well a godsend. ”Alright then, Party Bus sounds like it could be promising. Does it have any defenses against monsters? Does it move faster than a mortal car? Oh and pleaaaase tell me it doesn’t require gas. I don’t think we’d be able to cover the cost of that alone going from here to the other side of the states.” Cassian rolled his eyes at Demetri as he finally spoke up. It was disgusting how the three of them acted. If he could he would carry a squirt bottle just to spray the pair every time they moved off track from the topics at hand.

At the very least Demi had provided some form of answer. Even if it was non-committal bullshit. Did no one care about how much time they had to do this? Surely they didn’t expect this quest to drag on for months or more did they? Or was this just how big prophecies were? After all Odysseus’s journey was much longer than anything they’d ever do. So maybe this was how it was meant to be? Their own odyssey to test their limits and develop their own story of heroism and strife. His tone changed slightly as he thought about it, taking a sip of his drink before continuing. ”If the bus doesn’t offer any more aid than the train then I'm on board with sticking to the train. It's small and hard to fight in, but the bus will be as well so we may as well stick to what we’ve already paid for if it makes no difference in the end.”

Ladies, this is Alexios God of Parties and also my betrothed. Long story.

Nancy had initially focused on the second bit of that sentence, due to its aggressively shocking nature. Or maybe her brain had purposefully just missed that first bit of information, in an attempt to keep her calm. But now Demetri's introduction of his fiancé rang through her mind as Alexios proposed a party bus of all things. "No," Nancy said firmly. Her fingers twitched slightly. She would not be riding in a party bus. She would rather rip all of her nails off one by one and then eat them, feeling their bloody and jagged edges scrape down the inside of her throat. She would rather scoop out her own eyeballs and offer them as a ritualistic boon. She would rather drink nothing but poison for the rest of her days.

"You can all go on the party bus, but I won't be going. I'd rather travel by train alone and meet you on the Strip." Solo travel was never a good idea for a demigod - it was its own sort of death sentence - but Nancy wasn't budging. She already was going to be drowning in her own trauma at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. She wasn't interested in pre-gaming that experience. Her hands shook slightly as she reached for her shake and took another sip. Her thoughts drifted briefly towards Mads and Niah. She wished they were here. She wouldn't need to explain this boundary over and over again if they were. The suggestion wouldn't have even been made.

Grody ass Greeks.

Leda took the reins of the hippocampus that had been offered to her - the first time she actually got to be the one holding the reins and whatnot, actually. Every other time, she had been (lovingly) holding onto her girlfriend. "Do you like to go fast, little fella?" Leda murmured to her hippocampus, petting it slightly on the nose. "I do too. So if you could be a speedy little thing... I'd be fucking chuffed." Leda hoped that the hippocampus understood her, even though she didn't have any magical Poseidon powers to bridge that communication gap. She absently wondered for a moment if maybe she could talk to butterflies - they were kinda rainbow themed, right?

Leda swung herself up onto the hippocampus, and speedily followed Kiera and Sera along the way. The trip was pretty short, which Leda was thankful for, as her attention span was even shorter. She hopped off of her hippocampus, still keeping a hold on the reins just in case. The sight over the ridge was horrible. The blood in Leda's body began to pump at double time. She could see the titan himself - and his thousand strong army. But most importantly, he had the object they had been sent to retrieve.

"Yeah, that's Poseidon's trident," Leda whispered to Sera.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Burger King

Ezekiel slowly shifted his weight in the seat to look at Alexios. He raised an eyebrow before he smirked and picked up one of the god’s fries. ”Oh good, then you don’t mind sharing.” God or not, Zeke wasn’t budging for this asshole. There was only room for one of those on a quest, and Zeke had been holding that title for four years now. Demetri did his best to diffuse the situation, and Ezekiel gave him a smile for his efforts. He didn’t mind the contact or being close to Demetri. He was about to kiss Demi’s cheek when Demi pushed him back to his pile of food. Ezekiel’s eyes widened. ”Dem… I said just to get us fries to share,” he said, feeling instantly shy and embarrassed.
Zeke didn’t come from money and had learned to survive on very little. True, camp life had spoiled him, but Zeke knew how to limit his food intake enough to survive while on quests. This was his third one, after all.

Talk around them was on discussing travel options. Ezekiel didn’t understand why this was coming up again. Janelle forked over hundreds of dollars to get them train tickets across the states, and now people wanted to abandon that idea. That didn’t sit well with Zeke. But wait, there’s more. Alexios had a party bus. Are you kidding me? Ezekiel looked at Nancy before she even spoke up. He knew there was no way in hell that was happening, and no way in hell Zeke was going to force her into her living nightmare before she had to relive her nightmare.
”No need, Nancy, I’ll take the train with you.” Was everyone at Camp Half-Blood completely mental, or was having no empathy some requirement when half-bloods died before their eighteenth birthday? Of course, Alexios didn’t know why that idea should never have been brought up.

Janelle Gauger

Location: Burger King
Skills: N/A

She wasn't entirely sure what was going on with the conversation, but she managed to find the spot that Kristin had made for her to sit down at. The conversation was strange to say the least, not only because they were for some reason discussing taking a party bus or something like that. Which was beyond strange, but nope, the weirdest thing was the addition of a new voice that she had no idea who it belonged to. Janelle wasn't entirely certain what to think of there suddenly being another person joining them on their quest.

"If no one mends me askin... Whose de ahther persahn 'ere? I dahn't recahgnize de voice..." she commented, unsure what to really think. The whole situation was weird, as for the party bus thing, she very much wasn't sure about taking that sort of thing or anything. "I'd 'ahnestly prefer ridin de train," she then added, not really sure what else to say to the rest of the group aside from those two comments.

Jason Gauger

Location: The Hotel
Skills: Battle Precognition

He hadn't really been doing much aside from dozing, a bit too tired to really fall asleep or anything like that. So he heard the whole thing with the person at the door not long into their attempts to sleep or anything like that. He didn't say anything though as he instantly started moving carefully towards the door, picking up his sword as he went. This situation was a bit odd, it didn't make a whole lot of sense to him as to what was going on.

Jason didn't say anything as he moved over by the door, and he glanced through the hole to see who or what was at the door. Turns out there was a cyclops at the door, who was probably going to try and kill them honestly. A vision crossed his mind, of a potential outcome that could happen with this fight, he honestly forgot he could do that sort of thing truthfully. Backing away from the door, he glanced towards the other two, "Dahn't ahpen de door ahr go near it and brace yourself fahr a fight, it's a cyclops," Jason said to the pair, as he prepared himself for the fight that was going to happen. Since in his vision there was a decent chance he was going to get thrown around or something if they did that. This way they at least could get somewhat prepared for the fight.

"Yeah, loads of fun," she responded to Madalyne, unsure of what to really do at this point with the horses. Of course, that's when the horses decided to go on the attack and charge at the door to the cabin. Eventually one of them was poking its head through as it was loudly hissing at the group of them in general. Well this was just a great situation to be in, she wasn't honestly sure where they should go in general. Mary picked up her sword, and backed away from the door.

Her attention turned towards Damon as he instantly started moving towards the backdoor, and she started moving that direction. "Only ten doesn't mean anything, just because that's how many you see, doesn't mean that there aren't there," she said instantly towards the others. They needed to race out of there and get as far away from the cabin as possible, and hopefully they wouldn't get caught by the monsters. Since they definitely couldn't outrun a horse.

Stella had been able to keep herself awake for that first hour by gently petting Arbor and focusing on keeping watch on the door and window. It seemed uneventful until there was that voice at the door, and Stella could feel every hair on her body stand on edge. Housekeeping wouldn't be bothering any guests at this hour, not without being called, and they hadn't called. Also, housekeeping would knock. Then the shaking of the door started, and she got up off the couch and went to grab the potted plant on the end table next to her. It was the closest thing she knew she could make use of, and she also went to get her sickle as well.

"...I guess we couldn't outrun them forever..." Her voice was so small, so quiet at that point as her eyes went over to their other companion the floor. She walked over as quiet as she could, while still holding the potted plant and sickle and then nudged Niah softly. "Niah... wake up. There's a cyclops and it seems we're gonna have to fight this time," she whispered to her, hoping that would be enough to wake the older teen. Her eyes darted over to Arbor, who was still on the couch. His heckles were beginning to raise, as he realized they wee going to fight as well. Stella put a finger to her lips, trying to encourage him to keep himself quiet for as long as they could manage.

"I don't want to fight even one." Andy said. She picked up her stuff as the horse banged into the door. She wouldn't be proud of the scream that came out of her. But she didn't notice it. She bolted in the direction that Damon had indicated.

Andy was not going to sit around and let herself be eaten by horses. Horses were supposed to be vegetarians. They ate oats and stuff. Andy had never been much of a horse girl, and this was definitely ruining any chance of that happening. She'd stick with her Griffon and dog.

Niah snapped awake. As she stood, she drew her sword. She looked at Jason, who was standing between her and the door. He seemed determined and ready to do something. She figured whatever it was might be interesting. So if he looked back at her to confirm she was listening, she nodded.

Quickly she grabbed her bag and put it on. Fighting with the bag on wouldn't be fun, but it meant if they had to run, she'd have it with her. She could only hope that there was only one cyclops. She wondered how it had followed them so precisely. Had it been cyclopes in the restaurant? Or was this the original husband of the one they had killed?

Harrisburg, Hotel near, Amtrak Train Station:

The knocking and rattling at the door continued for a little bit and an annoyed groan could be heard through the door, and then it would stop all of a sudden and it got eerily quiet now which was pretty odd. Jason being the closest one to the door he would be able to hear what sounded like a hissing sound. At the bottom of the door he would notice something was slowly eating away at the door, and a few seconds later a head would poke through. The source of that hissing sound was coming from the snake like creature, and it would start spitting out what looked like acid, which had missed Jason's feet just barely as the acid landed on the TV stand as a hole was burned through it. Then another hissing sound had started and this time the three of them would notice that the doorknob was slowly being eaten away now, the cyclops clearly had some acid spitting pet snakes.

Kiera Donovan

Location: New York City
Skills: Hydrokinsis, sword fighting

Kiera stared down at the massive army that was being led by Oceanus himself, which was exteremely scary to see so many monsters in one area all at once. The group of three certainly wouldn't be able to handle that entire army by themselves, as her eyes wondered around for a little bit. "Thats defintely more than the camp can handle." Kiera said as she thought about trying to slow the monster army down enough so that they can properly evacuate the entire camp. It looked like they had set up shop in an underwater canyon she noticed that some of the rocks on the far side of the canyon looked rather loose.

Kiera then pointed out to what she had seen. "We might not be able to defeat them but maybe we can slow them all down somewhat." Kiera suggested. "We could try and mess with the water currents around that part of the canyon wall and cause some sort of landslide or something like that to slow them down and it'll give us enough time to slow that army down and evacuate the entire camp. What do you guys think?" Kiera said looking between Leda and Sera.

Madalyne Crane

Location: Labyrinth
Skills: Sword Fighting

Madalyne quickly swung her sword at the horse as it stuck it's head through the door again letting out another loud hissing sound, it looked like it's mouth was foaming as if it had rabies or something like that. As she swung Madalyne managed to chop it's head off as it fell and rolled along the floor before the head and body quickly bursted into monster dust onto the floor. Madalyne didn't hesitate and quickly ran through the back door and closed it behind her thanks to Damon for having a back door to get out of. She looked back over her shoulder and shuddered slightly, she was kind of freaked out by the horses.

"Are you able to take us to where we need to go?" Madalyne asked Damon as he looked at his cabin once more as he could hear of those horses trying to break through the cabin before shaking his head and nodded. "Yeah." Damon said as he pulled out the map he managed to snag before leaving the cabin. He was about to move out when he could hear someone talking as Madalyne heard it to she took a moment to peek her head just around the corner of the cabin. She could see what looked to be a man he sounded exteremly annoyed seeing the dust all over the front door of the cabin. "Now why did they go and kill such a magnificent creature?" He said, luckily for the group he hadn't noticed them as the horses went back to grazing around the area for now.

Alexios stared at Zeke giving him an exteremly annoyed look as he wrapped his arm around Demi's waist pulling him slightly closer to him, clearly challenging the young demigod again. When he was addressed turning his attention towards Cassian asking about his party bus, it was quiet fun in his opinion. "It travels at normal mortal speeds, but it's super big on the inside and whatnot as well and doesn't take any fuel." Alexios told Cassian as he went back to eating the lovely food that his betrothed had given him clearly enjoying it at the moment.

Kristin quickly turned her attention towards Janelle asking who the other voice was. "That would be Alexios, the son of Aphrodite and Ares, apparently he's betrothed to Demi now." Kristin told her, as she looked at Nancy and nodded The party bus was definitely something that Nancy was against. That and Janelle was the one nice enough to fork out the cash for their train tickets after all and that was just rude, and a huge waste of money as well to. "I'm saying the train anyway, Cassian just being impatient and wanting to go there sooner rather than later." Kristin said to Janelle.

Seraphina nodded, if they could cause a landslide it would give ample time to get the camp evacuated. "We should. It'd give us plenty of time to hurry back and get everyone out of the camp. Hopefully if we cause a big enough landslide it'll really slow down that army of his." They had to do something and now was the perfect time to do it. Sera was confident that she and Kiera could get the currents to cause a landslide, even if it was a small one, it'd be enough to stall Oceanus and his army. "Lets do this now before they set out of that canyon. We can't let any of them get through right away." The young girl stood firm, ready to control the currents once her sister was. Sera really didn't want to mess this up and have it become a huge failure.
