What is the policy on NPCs in this? I have another character or two knocking around. But if I can drop them in under NPC status it'll make my life a lot less complicated.

@Wayward I think it'll really depend on how often they make appearances in the story. Like if it's a random thug on the street or a shop keep, those would count as NPC's because they make a brief appearance and their contribution to the progress of the story is minimal

Just wanted to let y'all know I'm still here! I just figured I'd wait to post with Ben until the prison-break finished, since I had the assumption that some characters on either side would probably be spilling over from the camp into the city.

It is, yes! But when the escapees get away from the camp and go to ground, I figured they'd try to blend into crowds, jump down a sewer grate, etc. A desperate race to get into city limits, kinda like the Nomad intro in Cyberpunk 2077.

I'm just your friendly neighborhood sheep! I'm heavily interested in joining this rp. I actually found you through google. So yes, my account was just made and I'm new here. While I have participated in and started Advanced RP's before, not on a site like this. I normally roam Avatar Forum Boards. Gotta love me a good dolly site. rofl. Problem with them however, users come and go way more often than I'd prefer. Nobody wants commitment! T__T;

Anyways, I've got an old old old oldoldoldodldodlo original character that I'd super love to work with again. He just happens to be male and human. I have read the storyline, but have only skimmed through actual posts. I kind of want to jump in blind, as my character would. Not a true blindness, obviously, but just getting the cheat sheets out when appropriate. I also don't want to be overwhelmed by what's already been posted as more may be posted before I start writing my intro. So I plan to read on an as needed basis, until I'm caught up.

Like I said, my character in question is male, human and definitely 100% not gifted... unless you count being an almost unlikable asshole. At which point, then yes, he's very gifted. I won't go into too much detail about his past in this post, which completely explains his behavioral issues (that he's actively working on as a person), and will save that for the CS. Pfffft He's a military runt, or more accurately, an Archaeologist with a mercenary mindset. While he does not possess any powers, some of the various artifacts he finds do... ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I ADMIT IT. He's a fsl;ajf Tomb Raider/Nathan Drake/Indiana Jones/Nick Fury/Pirate/Treasure hunter based character. SUE ME D< There, I said it, not so much of an OC-still-an-OC after all. Sorry not sorry. rofl :U More about him though; he goes on some of the most random af supernaturally-inclined adventures omg. He is not indestructible. He can die. Though I do not desire to kill him off during this story arc.

For this story, he would come from the past. For the sanity of all who's involved, the storyline, etc., he would come from the year you specified, 2067, as I've never given him a true time period. I would like to work with him being forced into being apart of The Hunters. In my OC's world, I actually already have a plot idea on how to warp him into the current time the storyline is taking place, 2245. I don't want to say too much too soon. I have a strong sense of my OC's home world, work, etc. And should have no problems getting him involved.

Some things you may want to know about my writing style:

When I post, I will never use chat speak. I'm a giant wall o text. Sadly, I don't have any current examples of my long-windedness, other than what you're reading right now. You don't seem to require an example, but I figured I would mention it anyways. I am very much able to post with multiple characters and corporate entities if need be, but I would prefer my snotty little guy and the jerk company he has a love-hate relationship with vs adding anything too new.

So, if this type of character sounds interesting to you guys, please let me know! I haven't written my CS just yet. Gotta get on that!

I'm willing to wait a bit, since life can be a jerk. If they don't come back after a month or so, I may be willing to borrow this arc and start a new rp. Nobody would have to do anything other than carry their CS over. Then, if the GM does come back, I could jump into this reality and we could all disregard the other version. OR let the GM decide how to handle it. Maybe a merger of the the two, if everyone agrees. Bigger is always better, right?

Not to say that starting similar RPs because you saw one you liked is bad or anything, but the implication of "taking one over" is bad form unless you've been in extensive contact with the GM about them handing over the reins. Especially when you're new to the site itself and somewhat "unproven" as an RPer.

"In the future there are superhumans but the government doesn't like them" is a statement that could be applied to over a dozen different stories/games, but you want to at least make an "attempt" not to outright plagiarize someone else's work.
