Mary Sue's ears perked up at being raised an world away, that was something she hadn't heard about, and was very curious to learn more, "You mean Asgard? Or... something else?" She didn't know if that question was insensitive, but her dad was Raynor right? She'd never been off world, this was the furthest from home she'd ever been. She wanted to press for details, but she honestly didn't know how. She quickly responded to Andy in the mean time, "And uh, yeah. I was... homeschooled. I didn't get to see a lot of other kids growing up, friends of my parents or not." She didn't have a better way to put that her dad was way too paranoid to let her go all the way to visit old work friends with him, and didn't feel like trying to explain that mess.
Mary Sue's attention was quickly diverted, however, by the screams of Victoria. She hesitated a bit, she'd never done anything that left her terrified enough to scream before, would she be walking into some kind of living nightmare or something? But, she knew backing out now would make her seem weird, and she really really didn't want that, so she pushed down those feelings and turned her attention back towards Andy and Zari. Unsure of what to say, she just kind of stared awkwardly, not directly commenting on the screams of somebody coming from the thing they were watching towards.
Leah might have been telling the truth that she was there for them, but the fact was she still didn't want to be there for her. And that was what Sabine was trying to fix. If she could find something for Leah to enjoy here, it would make the night all the more worth it. Leah's determination to enjoy the night moved her. "All right, it's settled then. We are having the best night ever and that starts with getting some food."
Sabine grabbed both of her girlfriend's hands, one in each, before responding to Danni. "Think of it as pre-gaming. Getting the sustenance to then dance our little hearts out. We can always re-fuel up afterward. Plus, we can dance the food out before going into the haunted house so none of us lose it when they get scared!" Sabine noticed Maddie brought them some punch, though she didn't take a cup right away. That would have meant dropping her girlfriend's hands and that just wasn't happening right now. "Food then dancing, Madelyn. Let us away!"
With that, Sabine led her girls and whoever followed to the food. With quite the spread here, Sabine allowed her girls to help themselves first. It was tricky with food still. Sabine felt herself gall inwardly, before she regained her composure. "Looks good!"

@Nallore@Forsythe@BlueSky44: Diana and Zelda hadn't emerged yet from the maze - Kate and America were out, both of them looking shaken, but neither was Cassie. She had seemed worried when Vicky mentioned she had had problems with magic, but Kate and America had dragged her into the maze with them before she could really respond.
"Damn, that shit was crazy," Kate said, shaking her head slightly.
"I know!" America agreed. "I'm a little surprised they let her do that..."
"They're taking a while," Kate then noticed, glancing back towards the exit. A boy who had gone in after them that she didn't recognize, dressed as the Doctor from Doctor Who, had come out. Kate's eyebrows furrowed. She had a bad feeling about this...
April flushed, feeling secure as Leah put a gigantic muscular (and clawed) arm around her and Sabine, pulling them in close. Her nerves settled down a little bit, the spiral ending somewhat - maybe it was just the physical connection, maybe it was the fact that Leah was talking about her own emotions and it was easier to focus on those than April's abstract worries - but she started to feel better. It was like taking a painkiller and feeling the tension of a headache fade away gradually. "Awww," April said softly, moved by Leah's words. "You're such a softie, Leah Jordan," April teased with a big grin. She then gave her a kiss on the cheek. She would have grabbed one of the drinks from Mads, but her hands were a little full at the moment.
And then Sabine set the agenda for beginning the best night ever - food. April wasn't incredibly hungry, but she knew that she would be. Honestly, her main interest would be in getting a tiny snack - maybe a chocolate covered strawberry or something if they had it - but she really didn't want to mess up her makeup too bad. And with the announcement imminent, her nerves would doubtlessly come back and she didn't want to vom in front of everyone.
Sabine and confided in her and Leah about her eating disorder, so April had no intention of doing anything like playfully feeding her girlfriends. Nor was she going to make either of them eat. If Sabine ever asked for her to help, she'd do what she could - but she wasn't going to make things worse by pushing on it. Besides, Sabine was the one saying to go get food, so that had to count for something, right?
Danni was whining a bit about it, his arm slinked around hers and she giggled a bit - and then Sabine took her other hand, grabbing Leah's too. And Leah's arm was still around her. "Eeep, you guuuuys, there's just one of me!!" April protested, even as she couldn't stop smiling so much her cheeks felt like they were going to explode. "I'm going to fall!" she then added - it was somewhat hard to be walked along by three people at once, even in flats. "Oh, darn! We should've asked around and seen if anyone had a pegasus, can you imagine if we had flown in here on Swift Wind? That would've been soooo iconic..."
The food table would've made Princess Entrapta's heart soar, as it was mostly full of mini versions of food items - tiny cupcakes, tiny cookies, etc etc. Even the pizza was present in the form of what looked like pizza bagel bites. But while all the foods were individually tiny, there were huge quantities available, and no teachers really limiting what people took. Additionally, there was a bowl of candy that seemed to be neverending, featuring sweets from around the world.
"Your paint is holding up super well, by the way," April added, impressed that Danni was still pretty green - and that he wasn't getting green all over anyone else.
She didn't have any free hands, so she still couldn't accept a drink from Mads - or grab one of the mini cupcakes catching her eye.
Percy nodded - Dorian's instructions made sense. While this wasn't his scene, he could make a few educated guesses about it. Visibility was likely to be poor, and combined with the heightened emotions due to the intense fear, he could imagine it would be easy to get separated. A physical connection - an anchor, if you would - between the two of them would prevent that from happening. He hoped that he might provide a source of comfort for Dorian, if he were to be frightened terribly. It was his understanding that that was the type of thing romantic partners did for each other, and he didn't want Dorian to be shortchanged, just because Percy was different than everyone else.
Not that anything had ever been officially diagnosed, of course, but Percy knew. He had always known.
He held onto Dorian, following him in through the maze entrance. And while he was certain that he hadn't let go, he blinked and Dorian was gone. He was entirely alone. Percy frowned, narrowing his eyes. It was too hard to see, too dark, and he felt breath on the back of his neck.
"Đоги, ПаНŃŃик, йоги!"
Percy spun around, reflexively pulling the closest thing he had to a weapon - his sonic screwdriver - out of his pocket. And he came face to face with Ser Nemo. Or at least, it looked somewhat like Ser Nemo - a version of him in his 40s, rather than his late 1000s or however old he was. His hair was still dark and his eyes were uncannily familiar to Percy. He wore a smart suit with a logo on it - the TVA logo - and there was a sword sheathed to his side.
"Đоги!" Not-Nemo screamed again.
Something in Percy's gut told him to listen, and he took off in a sprint, choosing turns within the maze at random in an attempt to lose his pursuer. He tried to teleport, but something was blocking him - the blue energy formed around his hands, but he couldn't jump. Something was blocking him.
And the next thing he knew, he had run straight into Not-Nemo - and Not-Nemo's hands were grasped onto Percy's head, digging into his eyes, as Percy screamed and screamed and --
-- found himself sweating, standing at the exit to the maze.

Who the fuck is Leah Jeffries? Leah Jordan sure as shit didn't know, but she followed the group of homosexual disasters over to the food regardless. April was in a threeway-bind at the moment but seemed to be enjoying it. "Yeah, what 'Bine said." She slid her arms away from them both and picked up... Why the fuck was this food tiny? She picked up a cupcake small enough to fit between two of her fingers... And ate it in one bite. Curiously, she stuck her hand in the candy bowl and snatched a fistful of the stuff. Then Leah remembered she didn't have pockets and put it back, popping one in her mouth. God, she really wished she had pockets right now. Leah looked over and Sabine, and felt a twinge of concern. She didn't know how to actually support someone through the thing Sabine went through once, Leah didn't have that kind of perspective. But still, she was Sabine, so Leah inched closer and leaned in to say something quietly, lest everyone hear and make a stink about it.
"Hey, I know we said we were gonna eat, but you don't have to actually eat, if you don't feel like it, okay? Be easy on yourself." It was the thought that counted, right? With that said, Leah left it there to avoid putting any kind of pressure on Sabine. Hopefully Madalyne and Danni didn't overheard it. Or if they knew, they wouldn't make a big deal about. Though... Danni would make a big deal out of a stranger breathing in his general direction if he focused on it.
"Okay... So, April. Who the hell is Swift Wind?"
And there was the crushing, earth-shattering revelation: Leah had never seen She-Ra.
Diana continued to run as she could hear her evil doppelganger continued to cackle Diana managed to find a place to hide behind and took a deep breath. Then there was a brief flash of light as her doppelganger teleported herself a few feet in front of her with a bow already aimed at her. Diana cried out in pain as her evil twin shot an arrow into her shoulder, feeling it going through and imbedding itself into the wall, pinning her to it. Diana was about to try and yank the arrow off of her, when the next arrow flew and landed into her other shoulder, Diana started to panic as she tried to use her powers to get free but she couldn't. Her evil twin slowly started to walk up to her slowly with an arrow in her hand now.
Her evil twin just continued to cackle and didn't say anything to her, as her evil twin then started to stab her repeatedly in the stomach, over and over again, until Diana's vision started to go dark. A few seconds later Diana found herself stumbling out of the exit of the haunted house. Diana looked down at herself she didn't appear to have any marks or wounds on her at all which felt weird she could feel just about everything. As Diana walked out she wasn't paying much attention and accidentally bumped into her younger brother causing Diana to jump slightly. When she saw Percy again Diana quickly pulled him into a very tight hug, she was really happy to see him. "Are you okay Percy?" Diana asked him she then noticed America, Kate and Cassie nearby as well and waved at them they appeared to all be fine as well to.

Madalyne looked at Danni and smiled at him for a moment as he wrapped an arm around her which nearly made her spill all of the drinks that she was holding. "No problem at all you guys." Madalyne said as she stood there looking at all of her friends, it seemed that they all agreed to get some food first. "Food sounds great lead the way." Madalyne said as she started to follow the rest of the group over towards the table where all of the food was located. She could feel her stomach rumble slightly as Madalyne looked at all of the food that was there.
Seems that everyone more or less had their hands full they were all holding hands and stuff as Madalyne sighed slightly. "I'm going to find us a table and put our drinks there. I'll be right back." Madalyne said as she looked around there were a few tables that were occupied by other students until she found an empty table. She set the plate of drinks down on the table and quickly went back towards the table, her attention turned towards Leah asking who Swift Wind was. "He's She-Ra's faithful steed that she rides into battle with in the show." Madalyne answered Leah as she quickly started to grab some cupcakes as well as the mini pizzas.
See, Danni was ready to fly off about body paint, the different types, setting sprays, and other things he definitely didnât go down a spiraling research hole specifically for this costume that certainly wasn't him procrastinating on homework, no matter what Dee said, and he was ready, so so ready, but he couldn't help himself when he heard the horrible, awful, fantastic question Leah posed to the group. Well, Princess really but what's the difference?
âWho is Swift Wind? Who is Swift Wind?â Danni screeched, clutching his imaginary pearls. âMerde, Leah! Swift Wind is She-Ra's loyal steed and a fighter for horse freedom. He's an alicorn witâ rainbow wings and a gorgeous flowinâ mane and tail, and he is a strong independent âorse who don't need no She-Ra because âe's âis own âorse, ya know?! No, you don't but you will âcause now we âave ta âave a She-Ra marathon. No ifs, ands, or buts!â Danni decided, detaching himself from April as he gestured wildly.
âYou're gunna love it! My first dance was ta t'e t'eme song and I still say it was iconic. Oh, I could show you t'at too and t'en we can perform it toget'er for t'e group!â Danni bounced up and down excitedly, getting closer to Leah as he did. âMy favorite episode is Princess Prom, ngl. The Catra suit when I first saw it as a kid was absolutely fuckinâ fantastic. Like, slayed. Insta-death, one hit K.O. Omg, Beanie, Princess, idea time. Leah, muscles, Catra Princess Prom cosplay. Omg, I gotta find Zelds and get her on t'is. Such good team outfits, suit's gotta be not'inâ right?â He stood up on his tip toes, holding himself steady on Leah's shoulder as he scanned the room fruitlessly.

Andy nodded along to Zari and Mary Sue's explanations. Both of them had been sheltered a bit in different ways. So they just hadn't crossed paths, despite their parents being friends.
"That's fair." She almost made a joke about her past and how she knew one of the students here from years ago. Andy kept it to herself though, she'd tell it to Zari later.
The line got a little shorter, but it wasn't their turn yet. "This thing must be super scary." She was impressed by how freaked out everyone was. She wondered what was inside it to scare people so universally. Andy wasn't sure what to talk about, but she figured the best would be to find something in common with Mary Sue and try to make friends with her outside of their little group.
"So what do you like to do? We haven't gotten to talk much outside of practice. I like watching bad movies, especially horror films. I also boxing." Andy considered talking about why she was into boxing, but that got uncomfortably into her past.
Dorian led Percy through the Haunted Maze, holding onto his hand to ensure they didn't get separated. His hope was that Percy could use it as an anchor, to keep himself from teleporting away while also serving as one for Dorian. He'd managed to keep himself from flickering from any of the jumpscares the house had thrown their way. As they rounded the corner to move into a new room, he felt the loss of Percy's grip on his hand. A smile on his lips as he was about to turn and tease his boyfriend for falling for the steam vent trick. But when he turned, the scene had changed.
Dark halls stretched before him as Percy was nowhere to be found. âPerce? Where'd you leap off to?â He'd hate the idea of holding up the house, especially if he accidentally ran into another group attempting to get in, but he didn't want to abandon Percy if he got scared enough to teleport to another hall. He called out to him, slowly making his way before turning around and wondering if maybe he'd accidentally gone forward instead. Before long he'd reached a room that was pitch black, he couldn't see anything, there were no sounds at all coming from the room. âPerce?â A sound came from deeper in the room, like a mixture between a crackle and a hum as a flare of light came in the size of a baseball. First it flashed purple before it began to become overtaken by a deep red.
Dorian watched as the light elongated into a blade and the red glow now illuminated a stranger in the dark. âSo cool! âey, âave you seen anotâer student? âe's dressed like a doctor in a suit, is about tâis tall and-â Dorian was cut off as what he'd assumed was a scare actor began bolting in his direction, laser sword in hand. The stranger swung his sword at Dorian and he held his hands up instinctively as he watched the blade stop inches away from his face. The red light glaring off the reflective helmet of the stranger showing only a reflection of himself. He watched the struggle of the blade until he realized that he was the one holding it back. âI don't want to fight you, I just want to find Percy!â
There was a shift in the stranger's demeanor, more aggression as Dorian could feel the blade pressing harder against the invisible force holding it back. A cold voice came through the darkened helmet, as if speaking through an intercom system within the suit itself.
âThen you will die searching.â
The masked man pushed his palm out towards Dorian, never connecting as a force pushed him back and on his ass. He swung once more, Dorian narily missing the blow as he flickered in and out of existence. Another swing and Dorian rolled to get out of the way. The barrage of attacks barring him from being able to draw his own blade. Dorian scrambled backwards until he hit a wall, sure that this would be it. But just as the swing was about to come, a small portal opened up, fizzling as a card flew out and slid under Dorian's heel. There was a small chirping sound, as a raptor came barreling out and biting the wrist of Dorian's assailant. Dorian grabbed the note, pocketing it as he made a dash towards freedom. The small creature was shaken loose, thrown to the floor just before Dorian's feet making him halt in place. He heard the change in the swords hum as the figure swung at the defenseless creature. Dorian threw himself over the raptor, shielding the blow with his body.
Dorian's skin began to burn. The sounds of him screaming in pain drowning out the deep chuckle that came from his assailant. It felt personal, as though this person knew he would throw himself before the blade, as if he was calling him weak for even doing so, it felt as though the intention was never to harm the raptor, but to put Dorian in a vulnerable enough position to manage a strike. The immediate burning had stopped, leaving only the residual heat from the blades cut. Dorian tried to look up, to ask why, he wanted to call for help, but before he could speakâŚthe blade plunged in him. He gripped at the animal beneath him tightly as pain seared into every nerve before finallyâŚit stopped.
All that remained was a faint burn within his chest and a knot in his throat. His eyes hurt from how hard he'd shut them, but as he opened them up once more to see what had happened, he was gone. Dorian was now at the exit of the Haunted House, Percy being hugged by his sister and the dance once more under way. The raptor, it seemed, was still there with him, but all else was nothing more than a memory. Dorian got up and ran towards his boyfriend, gripping him tight from behind as he enveloped him and Diana into a group hug. âI'm so sorry Perce! I didn't know we'd get separated I t'ought you wereâŚIâŚâ Tears began to well up in his eyes as the raptor came in and began to nuzzle against his ankle.

Initially, Victoria eyeballed the snack table, wondering whether she should hurry up and make a pit stop before all of the good food was gone - people were swarming to it like flies to- But eventually she forced herself to saty and socialize some more. Taking the opportunity, she was looking at the haunted house - and taking notes of what she was seeing for future reference. Hopefully she would be able to start developing some magic countermeasures - and perhaps help Leah a bit further with her daddy issue.
Boredom was replaced with interest and later worry, as three powerpuffs went into the house, and only two came out, followed shortly by more people that went in after them. What the other two were saying did not add any courage either. "What do you mean? They let her do what? What happened?" she bombarded Kate and America with questions, eyes trying to spot anything resembling Cassie among the glitches.
Is the infected code leaving Vicky's system again as before with Aghata's magic, staying as it is, or is spreading?

Mary Sue beamed at Andy wanting to get to know her; her attempts to make friends was working! She quickly started to say, "Um, I really like writing, but I haven't been able to do it in a bit." To be honest, she'd started the hobby when she was small, writing stories about the different heroes she'd heard or read about, but those were luckily all lost to time, as far as she knew. These days, she was much more for poetry, but the idea of sharing any of that made her heart almost jump out of her chest. She should really get back into it, if she got the chance.
"Besides that, I'm a really big hero nerd, I have a list of biographies I still have to chew through when I have the free time. What about you two?" She wanted to know more about Andy, admittedly she knew almost nothing, but she seemed cool. She really liked being on a team with her, and out of all her team members, she probably knew her the best. She gave a quick turn to Zari, as if to try to signal that she wanted to hear from her as well; she didn't want her to feel left out at all, she just couldn't think of a more natural way to extend that to her in that moment.
Sabine eyed the food table and felt her stomach turn in knots. It had been a while since she had gone though...that whole mess. The old Sabine would have kept it tightly under wraps. She didn't want people tiptoeing around her whenever there was food present. It was awkward to explain and even more so to people who cared about you. She didn't need the whole "Omg you're so strong!" comments. She wasn't strong. Or at least, she didn't feel strong. It was weakness that drove her to it. And it took nearly dying for her to turn it around. Not many people get that chance and even then it is a lifelong battle.
But she owed her girls. They were trying, she could tell. She glanced at Leah attempting to console her. "I can eat if I choose to. I just need to be in control. And I am not about to let this amazing spread go to waste." She let go of their hands and reached for a cupcake, allowing herself to take in the smell before she unwrapped it and enjoyed. "Oh yeah, that's good. Perfect fuel for the rest of the night."
Once done, she grimaced when Leah asked about Swift Wind, knowing either April or Danni would speak up over this slight. And sure enough, Danni was on it. "A marathon is a must, for sure. I think you'd like Scorpia Leah."

@Nallore@Forsythe@BlueSky44: America and Kate looked more and more uneasy as time passes, and still, there's no sign of Cassie Lang leaving the haunted house/maze. Kate bit her lip, not letting her gaze leave the exit. "When you're in there, you're hunted until you die," Kate explained.
"By yourself," America added. "A fucked up evil version of yourself that stops at nothing to kill you."
The infected code was slowly leaving Vicky's system - within another ten minutes or so, it would likely all be gone.
"Maybe she's winning," Kate said. "Maybe she's kicking her double's ass and that's why she isn't out."
"Maybe," America said, fidgeting slightly. "If she's not out in the next five minutes, I'm going in after her."
April was freed more or less from the bind, enough to move her hands and grab one of the mini cupcakes. Then Leah dropped the bomb - that she'd never actually seen She-Ra, despite being in a picture perfect Scorpia outfit. See, April even shipped Perfuma with Scorpia (although her first choice was Scorpia with Entrapta and Catra, she was a multishipper and able to support multiple lines). They were a throuple, She-Ra with Perfuma and Scorpia - the rarest of rare pairs! April didn't even know what the Perfuma/Scorpia/She-Ra ship name would be. Perscorra? Shefumpia? Plant-Lightning-Sword? She'd have to workshop it a bit - maybe consult some wiki pages, see if people already had coined a name for that ship.
"Oooo yes marathon time!!" April squealed, clapping her hands together somewhat awkwardly, given the tiny cupcake she was holding. "How cool would that be for you to watch She-Ra for the first time while you're dressed as Scorpia? I bet if we filmed some of your reactions to her best scenes, we could even go viral!! It'd be like Scorpia watching Scorpia!!" There were stars in her eyes. She wasn't upset that Leah had never seen She-Ra - there were so many iconic shows out there and only so much time to dedicate to them. If anything, her heart swelled even more, knowing that Leah had dressed up for something she didn't even know about - just because it was important to April and Sabine.
If that wasn't true love, what was?
Her cheeks reddened at the realization. Did Leah... love-love them? Like love with a capital L? Were they in lesbian love together, the three of them?
Percy blinked, still disoriented as he found himself pulled into a hug by his sister. It had all seemed so real, so vivid as Not-Nemo dug his fingers into Percy's eyes, undoubtedly about to crush his skull at the same time. He should have been dead. He should have been dead. His body was shaking, as he stiffly hugged his sister back. She was dressed as Annabeth Chase - the original flavor. "I'm fine," he said quietly. He was not fine.
But within seconds, the two of them were joined by Percy's boyfriend, Dorian - another addition to the hug. Percy was pretty awkward when it came to physical contact and affection, never quite knowing what to do with his hands, but he adjusted so that way he had one hand on his sister and one on his boyfriend. And the shakiness within him evaporated, as he saw how upset Dorian was. He didn't notice the tiny dinosaur at his ankle. "Are you okay?" Percy asked, sternly but not out of anger with Dorian - more out of anger with Nimue and her stupid tricks. "I'll burn her alive," he then vowed. "It won't even be hard, all these teachers think they're invincible anyways." "Attention students!" Headmaster Coulson said, standing at the stage with a microphone. He was dressed as Captain America - the classic costume, from the WWII era. "It's time for the moment you've all been waiting for - we're going to start off with announcing the lucky teams that have qualified for the Contest of Champions... Please hold your applause for the end... The Young Avengers, led by the Vision! The Uncanny Avengers, led by Usagi! The Huntresses, led by Lady Nimue! And lastly, Excelsior, led by Ser Nemo!"
"Congratulations to everyone and good luck at the Contest!!" Coulson cheered, before continuing on. "And now, for our School Royalty... Our first Savior of Avengers Academy is.... APRIL FLYNN! And there was a tie for our second Savior of the school, so please join me in congratulating.... SABINE BASSARD and LEAH JORDAN! Come on up here to receive your crowns!!"
Diana was really happy to see that her little brother was alive and well, the haunted house felt so real she could feel every time her evil twin stabbed her. She held the hug a little bit longer until she felt someone else hug her from behind causing Diana to jump slightly and she turned around to see that it was just Dorian. "Don't jump on me like that after being scared in that damn haunted house.." Diana said as she would let out a slightly annoyed sigh. All that mattered right now was that her brother was still alive and well which was good then, she just wanted to enjoy the rest of the night.
Diana noticed that Cassie was still inside of the haunted house, she really didn't want to go back in there, but she knew Cassie and wanted to help out her friend. "I'll go in with you guys if you need my help." Diana offered to Kate and America, then she paused when Diana heard Headmaster Coulson's voice as he started the announcements for the evening. Diana couldn't help but smile she was glad that their team had made it on this year. She then looked at her brother there might be a point during the contest that she'd could end up fighting against her brother. Diana was happy to know that April had won Savior of the Avenger's Academy, along with Leah and Sabine.

Madalyne looked at Danni for a moment as he suddenly started to go on a tangent about Swift Wind and his connection to She-Ra in the show which made her smile slightly and shake her head. He was always like that for as long as she had known him since she came to this school, she leaned back slightly as she looked at all of her friends at the table. When Coulson stepped up and started to make the announcements for the evening for the teams going into the Contest of Champions. Madalyne couldn't help but smile as she looked over at April their team was officially in now.
Along with the rest of their little friend group as Madalyne looked at everyone there, she wasn't sure what to think about going up against all of their friends if they ended up having to fight one another. Then Coulson announced the Saviors this year as Madalyne looked at April, Sabine and Leah and smiled at the three of them she was actually really happy for the three of them. "Congrats you guys!" Madalyne said happily to the three of them it would be interesting to see the three of them dancing all together.

The idea that Mary Sue was into biographies made her nervous. It was much like how Dorian and Danny were uncomfortably close to her past. She wondered how much Mary Sue knew about her without even knowing it. She smiled though and replied, "I like watching bad movies, especially horror films. I also boxing." She was repeating herself, but she figured that Mary Sue was one of those people who mentally answered the question before they did out loud and had just not heard her. She didn't mind that. It made conversation.
They were then interrupted by announcements. She clapped automatically joining everyone else. Andy had hoped her team had lost, but she supposed sucking someone of their power in the last moments of the fight had been what had gotten them through. They had been very close to losing. She just didn't want to put the time that was required into continuing. Then the 'Savior' of the school was announced, something that back in her original run at going to school would have been a more sexist term of King and Queen. She liked the change. She cheered again this time less automatically. She was excited that April had won. That would definitely be something that April would be happy about. Leah had also won and Andy liked Leah so she was happy for her too. She didn't know Sabine well, except as someone who had been involved in bullying her the first day. She didn't care for her winning but eh can't have everything go in your favor.
A marathon with her girlies sounded like the best time. Leah would hopefully fall in love with the show, but even if she didn't, spending time with them was bound to be a good time regardless. Sabine continued to eat the cupcake she held in her hand, allowing herself to enjoy it. One was fine, right? That wouldn't mess anything up. Plus she would drink water and maybe some more punch and she would be filled up in no time.
Before she could speak, the Headmaster announced what teams were going forward. Sabine was confident her team handled themselves well. They won, after all, and showed remarkable teamwork that she had otherwise not expected. Sure enough, her team was called. She looked over at Danni and tried to catch Dorian and Percy's attention too. She was very excited to be a part of this contest.
And as if the night couldn't get better, the Headmaster also announced who won the Savior of the School. And it was April! Sabine knew April had it locked. And she and Leah were runners-up? "Ok, so not only do our teams progress in the contest but me and my beautiful girlfriends just won Saviors of the School? No way are we missing this, let's go!" With that, she grabbed both of their hands and pulled them towards the stage to receive their honors.
She didn't care what anyone else thought. This was their night.

This wasn't the reaction she expected from them. So this "Swift Wind" individual was a flying horse that Sabine's character flew around on? If Leah understood the multiple explanations, and whatever indescribable non-Sabine French that came out of Danni's mouth, that was basic knowledge. And, unsurprisingly, everyone wanted to watch it together, in a big marathon. It sounded nice, but Leah didn't really understand what was so special about it. Still, she'd be happy to spend time with the girls, no matter what.
"That sounds fun, but I-" She forgot what she was saying saw the look on April's face. Good god, she's fucking cute.
Yes. They were in lesbian together.
Wait a damn minute, that was their names that were being called. "Oh, shit. We won something? Our teams are all in, but what did we save everyone from?" She was, indeed, led up the stage to where the royals got their shit. Leah wasn't accustomed to the whole homecoming royalty thing, but she figured it out once she realized they were getting crowned for this. Although... Unless one of those crowns were made of something stronger than vibranium, Leah definitely wasn't putting any of them on. April won first place, and she and Sabine won second... Were they supposed to kneel like servants before an emperor or something?

Victoria was worrying more than she would like. In this school, it was entirely possible that a Halloween prank would be deadly. She could think of other causes of Cassandra not yet emerging both better or worse. Still, what could she do? Her posse wanted to go back to the house to fetch her, something that did not seem to be an option for her, given that even the brief exposure to the magic did not leave her system yet. "And how do you propose to even get to the same instance of it as she is in? Clearly there is some... spatial distortion magic going on, it hurts me the same as Agatha's tent. Still, she has to be somewhere - Hold on!"
She pulled out her phone. She ahs just hacked into Cassandra's, it should be a cinch to repeat that and access the GPS locator, assuming it had reception inside the magical space. She had to fake pressing stuff on the phone while her own system tried to connect to her sister's phone. In her frenzy to come up with a solution that did not involve leaving Cassie to the dogs or herself going in there and face almost certain brain death, the announcement of the contest qualifier winners went completely over her head.
Assuming Vicky can connect to Cassie's phone, attempt to pull GPS coordinates. Calling Hacking skill + previous success.

Mary Sue's entire body tensed as the results were unveiled, and when her teams name was called, she relaxed in a way that she hadn't for months. It's hard to say exactly what it was, but it was like the bulk of the stress she'd been carrying since she got here vanished. A grin spread across her face, and she punched the air, barely keeping herself from crying out loud in excitement. She was absolutely ecstatic, and though thoughts were creeping in on the best ways to prep for the Contest, tonight, she would allow herself to be happy and relish in this accomplishment.
Mary Sue could personally care less about the Savior of the School, but she was happy for them in spirit, she supposed. Instead, she focused on Andy, and said, "I really don't think I've ever seen any horror movies." Which was true, but she wasn't about to let it stop her, she continued, "Maybe you could show me some sometime?" She wasn't sure she'd have the best tolerance for anything too scary, but assuming her teammate wasn't out to traumatize her, she thought it might be fun, and it would give them a chance to spend time together doing something Andy liked.
Dorian blinked a few tears away as he pulled back slightly from the hug so he could get a better look at Percy's face. âAm I ok? Moi? I'm fine Perce! It was you I was worried about. When we separated I t'ought âmaybe âe teleported out of fright?â But t'en I couldn't find you anywhere and t'is t'isâŚspace man came at me witâ a lightsaber and tried to attack me and I t'ought maybe âe'd gotten to you and I panicked so much. No matter âow âard I tried to reason witâ âim âe just wouldn't let me go find you.â He squeezed Percy once more, tighter now than ever before as if maybe he was about to disappear from him once more. He held him there for a ten count before finally letting go and wiping the now dried tears off his cheeks. âNo burninâ down t'e teachers. Wouldn't do to âave a member of Excelsior suspended for attackinâ anot'er teams coach.â he managed with a light hearted chuckle.
Dorian didn't get the chance to apologize to Diana for the accidental fright before she left to go chat with others. He looked down at the raptor and lifted it up like a baby on its back, scratching it beneath the chin. âOh right, t'is appeared inside t'e âouse. ButâŚI don't t'ink it was a part of it. âE was defendinâ me best âe could t'ough.â Dorian fished out the note from his pocket, seeing it had come from his dad. âSorry for the late birthday gift, it took a while to find a way to get a real baby raptor. Hope you like it.â It seemed Danni's dragon was going to have a friend to grow up with.
Dorian's attention was snapped to the stage as Coulson began his announcements. Starting with the teams. He hung onto every word with baited breath, each name breaking him little by little as his team wasn't called. He was crestfallen, and trying his best not to let it show, when finally his team was said last. Shock ran through him, before he finally placed the raptor on the ground and picked up Percy to twirl him. âWe did it! We qualified for t'e Contest!â He was so busy whopping and hollering he'd almost missed the announcements for School Saviour, though he felt it was rigged as clearly DAD should take the stage, but he was more than happy for April to have it with her girls.
Danni's attention shifted, his She-Ra lecture dead and forgotten, as Colson stepped up on stage. Danni could practically feel the excitement in the air, or maybe that was just him trying to stay still. Excelsior made it in - he never had a doubt. They were too good, and frankly they deserved it after dominating the way they did. Of course, none of that really mattered - Danni knew they'd get in the second they all suited up. They looked too damn fine to get skipped over. Definitely helped that they crushed the opposing team- Danni meant to look up the spear guy cause he had some moves and he wanted to tango but It'd slipped his mind completely. Danni cheered along side the rest of the group, doing a spin just to get the bubbles out.
Of course, Danni was just as confident that heâd get Saviour this year. He just had a feeling and since he was right about Excelsior, why wouldn't he be right about winning Saviour? his only question was who would he be sharing It with? Princess? Dee? Beanie - they could do something with a lot of flair accepting it too. He cheered with Princess was announced because hell yeah she deserved it for being the absolute best bitch of the school and he was so excited to go up with her that he nearly missed the second announcement.
He was wrong. He felt his stomach drop. He was wrong. He'd already taken a half step forward but froze. He was wrong. Danni swallowed back the lump in his throat.
He didn't win.
Instead, it went to Beanie and⌠Leah. Danni got Princess and Beaniece but, Leah? He turned to make a joke about it with Dee, maybe less of a joke and more of a cutting remark about piggybacking, but he remembered that Dee wasn't there either. He was off with Spicy doing Haunted House things and other gross stuff probably. Couldn't even be bothered to be there when they announced the teams. Whatever.
Still, Beanie and Princess deserved to be celebrated and Danni fixed his best smile on and cheered and hollered with enthusiasm. Danni even grabbed Maddie and spun with her in excitement. âTâey won, tâey won, tâey won! Isn't t'at awesome?! We gotta t'row a party oâ somet'inâ! I can make dinner and snacks and we can get drinks, maybe sneak in some drinks, and celebrate and She-Ra!â Danni babbled, his excitement only partially forced. âMaybe t'ey'd let us borrow a traininâ room or somet'inâ. Vicky can âelp us set it up ta make a tâeater room, I brinâ food, Princess, Beanie, and Leah are winners so t'ey just show up, Dee and Spicy can brinâ drinks and maybe little poppers. Oh, yeah I like the confetti poppers, so fun, especially the glittery ones so def t'at, and t'en Dee would probs brinâ t'at retro girl, who'd probs bring her girlfriend, andâŚ.â Danni frowned as he tried to count on his fingers. âT'at's a lotta people but we can get Dee ta beg Poisson-Pas if it gets denied. we can start planninâ tomorrow, right Mads? I'd bet t'ey'd love It!â Danni beamed, adamantly ignoring the sinking feeling in his stomach.
