Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: He has a few small scars from the occasional 'worse' crape he got from doing something in the past, mostly limiting this to his hands, forearms, and legs to a certain extent. Yet a cut on the inside of his left palm is both a large scar and the one he got in the old plane crash he was in. It came from when he cut his left palm while initially panicking and desperately trying to claw out of the bit of plane wreckage he was in at the time, until his father got him to calm down and focus.
Day To Day Attire: The red and black school uniform, though in most casual settings simple blue jeans and light, breatheable shirts are his go-to. Proper modern jackets and a few sweaters help him in colder-climates and winter as well. Shorts for the summers are also a thing with him.
Strengths: Physically Fit, Diligence, Cooking
Weaknesses: Stubborn, Talkative, Melee Weapon Combat
Outgoing * Diligent * Confident * Adventerous
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: A diligent and hard-working individual who is willing to get his hands dirty as much as he needs to, and doesn’t judge by one’s status, nationality, or wealth when approaching or seeking to get to know others, appreciating someone’s drive or skills or the like as a person even if they don’t necessarily agree on everything. He believes in appreciating the strengths of others, as well as bears an adventurous sort of personality that enjoys a good bit of fun, a challenge he finds interesting, or the like along the way. When he gets excited enough to a certain extent, though, Alexander’s joviality and a bit of a wilder side can very much end up emerging to some extent or another. He is also willing and unafraid to, even if trying to be actively mindful of it at the same time, use his wealth to some extent or another.
Usually carrying himself with a generally positive, noble, and confident bearing, he is the sort of person one could easily see running wild in a competitive game with a massive grin on his face just as much as one could see him speaking politely yet confidently to a group of peers in a formal setting. That being addressed, however, Alexander is someone who can be a bit.....’stubborn’ at times. Work himself to the bone. Push himself too far, even, only to end up laughing at himself and the situation in hindsight as he’s recovering from it.
Habits: His eyebrows furrow rather distinctly and deeply when he is focused on something, drumming fingers on a surface of some sort when nervous or excited enough
Hobbies: Video Games, Exercise/Physical Training
Fears: Needles, Failing his family
Likes: Spicy foods, cooking, diligence/good work ethic, cats, exercise, hot springs/saunas, food
Dislikes: Hollow words, the Australian white ibis, excessive laziness, drinking alcohol, shallow people, meaningless/senseless violence, excessively wasted food
A listing of skills, such as horseback riding or cooking. Levels include novice, apprentice, journeyman, expert, master.
- Cooking (Expert): “Ah, food! A subject that ranges from the simple, to the complex, to the local, to the international-! Hmm? Yes, I respect the skill of artistry needed going into some of those incredibly niche and fancy food venues….but in reality it's not my style. Food is meant to be enjoyed and to feed, to be enjoyed by all the senses, and not simply to put on a sizzling visual fireworks show for some pretentious tire company representative or high-and-mighty blogger. In any case it is meant to be eaten, you know, so that’s the point in my opinion.”
-Alexander
Alexander is actually rather skilled in this area as a hobby from which his personal passion and diligence shines. Anything from a simple American-style cheddar cheese grilled cheese or a simple cake/muffin and simple hearty stews and soups, to fancy things like chicken marsalas and flaky fancy pastries and cultural dishes, to more, this Swiss scion’s devotion to the craft is something that is born out of a love of it rather than for fame or glory or any such thing. He loves food, and finds cooking to be enjoyable. That’s it. Though it has led to his passion pushing him to get some actually rather good skill in the craft, or more like his family encouraged this skill in him and supported his pursuits in the matter with a rather solid education in the subject that seemed to bring him such joy. It totally wasn’t because his passion for it began to overrun the family home’s kitchen…..nope. Totally not. - Cloud Magic (Journeyman): A subject within the school of Evocation Magic, involving the generation of clouds that produce or enact weather-like effects. Covering the ground in mist or dense stormy clouds, using lightning-generating or hail-producing ones to target and blast enemies with attacks, altering the properties of clouds such as density and solidification, using them to raise or lower the temperature of the space they are created in or to generate winds, and so forth in this vein of things. Not to be confused with “weather magic”, which alters the weather on a large scale and requires a large amount of people and a proper large-scale ritual to do.
His father wanted him to pick up a magic skill or such to be able to defend himself, and the peculiar art of Cloud Magic became the thing he chose to learn about and train in. Alexander certainly isn’t an expert or master as of yet, but he does have a wide range of basic effects and general uses for it under his belt due to his diligence in the matter. - Piano (Apprentice): A skill he began to be curious about with regard to his older sister Marianna becoming proficient with it. He found the music beautiful to his ears, and thus sought to gain skills in this area without hesitation by going to his parents to request learning how to play it. He isn’t half bad for an apprentice in the art of playing the piano, actually, much to the amusement of his older sister and parents.
- Firearms (Apprentice): A skill he began to take up after being challenged by a blue-blooded and local peer back home, one who was training in it himself, and he took the challenge up with a zeal. He certainly isn’t a novice, but he also certainly isn’t a master either. His mother partly wishes he took up fencing, though his father was happy for him to gain more useful skills in his repertoire of skills.
- First Aid (Novice): A bit of a requirement for all the things he did, even if a mundane and non-magical skill, he knows the novice-level things of how to perform first aid: Pressure on a wound, cleaning a wound, using bandages and ointment, elevating a wounded leg, and similar beginner-tier things he’s had to put into use for himself and such over the years.

Childhood: Modern Switzerland is a nation that has never had a ‘king’ or monarchy, but which has become a directorial federal republic wherein the existing nobility enjoy a notably more moderated level of overt legal privileges and yet standards and the rule of law and a good bit of fairness and egalitarianism reign among all of its citizens in a general sense as cemented in its constitution. In a number of ways Switzerland is closer to a place like the United States of America, or the Republic of Finland for another example, than it is to the other more absolute monarch-led states of Europe, making it in the eyes of many a ‘little upstart’ of sorts. Yet in the end its strong economy, neutrality, and possessing a sort of a ‘tax haven’ status have led it by modern times to become a ‘well-tolerated little upstart’ in reality. Its local and international banks are the repositories of vast financial capital and valuable materials, ones which overall have become highly lucrative and that make it among the most wealthy nations by both GNI and GDP standards. It is a modern state, with a flourishing modern economy, among the top three highest living standards for its general citizenry, and world-famous banks/banking system that stand out on the world stage despite the smaller size of the nation itself. It is also a defensive little nation with very defensive terrain, a robust modern professional ‘standing army’ military core supplemented by a well-organized and streamlined modern ‘militia system’, and incorporates both magic and technology into both civilian life and the military to boot.
It is within this nation that Alexander Gabriel von Geldwechsler was born, and most distinctly was born the oldest son of the “von Geldwechsler” nobles of Switzerland. The von Geldwechsler name is one that very much stands out….because it is among the literal top three wealthiest families in the world. For the von Geldwechsler, whose banking business and investments at home and business and investments placed outside of the country both in foreign oil and other such industries elsewhere, a long-term cautious and carefully methodical approach in the use of their finances and investments has paid off in spades. It is with this in mind that Alexander was born into a life of great wealth and potential, such that he gained the moniker “The Golden Prince” for being the next in line behind his father to inherit things. Not a small matter to be sure, not for any child born into such a state.
At the same time, however, Alexander’s father was more sober-minded than his own father had been (his own father having nearly ruined their wealth at some point, before he aggressively took over to avoid disaster). He made Alexander learn the value of ‘good hard work, discipline, and proper diligence’, and while strict in ways was just as loving in others as his initially timid and somewhat lazy first son began his first years of life. At first Alexander wasn’t anything of the sort of person he is today, and was still extroverted but did not wish to do too much. He had little ambition, little drive, and seemed to be comfortable with things as they were despite his father’s efforts. He even clashed with his father’s ideas a bit in the process.
However, at the age of six, Alexander would be on a plane ride over the Alps with his father to visit a friend in Italy before a sudden icy storm would overtake the more humbler-built private aircraft they were riding in and lead to it crashin the mountains. It was the most scared Alexander had ever been, and while his father had not skimped on stocking emergency provisions for the plane (in case of such a situation) the two were the only survivors save for the injured pilot (out of six that had been on the plane overall). Two weeks they tried to survive, and Alexander got to see his father in a new light as the wealthy man with his own two hands worked to help them all stay warm, hydrated, and intact. He was a second set of hands for the man at times, but it was in this time period that, fearing for his life more than ever, Alexander seemed to grow a little bit amidst the adversity in the end. When it came to taking action or breaking underneath the strain, the child would manage to hold out and even attempted to help where he could. This was the case until rescuers who had found the rescue beacon kept on the plane, which had broken into parts during the crash, and finally searched around it in a growing search radius to find the survivors of the crash.
After getting home, and recovering from the exertion of that experience, Alexander began to change somewhat. To push himself more. To grow more. He seemed more bent on wanting to ‘live’, and over the coming years the once fearful child would become much more outwardly jovial and even excitable at times. He began to burn with some sense of personal ambition, and took to challenges given to him more so with a zeal rather than clash with his father in ways over it as he once had. Such was the nature of the younger Alexander, a child who in the end came to emerge into what became his true ‘self’ and enjoyed trying to make friends with other children no matter the class and became bold. But where did this confidence come from? Only Alexander would truly know.
But from this point in time moving forward, the boy’s moniker of “The Golden Prince” gradually came to less so indicate his family’s wealth and apply more to his eventually diligent and more ambitiously outgoing personality. The golden prince who sought to chase the sun over the horizon in one way or another one day, and who would work his own two hands to the bone to get there. A diamond in the rough and desirable sort of heir who had the mind to get things done, and was willing to learn how to get there. Such was the way the boy known as Alexander Gabriel von Geldwechsler as he began to move forward in his life now.
Adolescence:It was decided that Alexander, while having been receiving a high-class education already, would be sent to Saint Valerius Academy to further his education and skills. A future leader had to learn how to manage things and do them as well, no? Whether it was a family business, or a group project, or otherwise there was always the need to learn and grow more to achieve. He would then seek to achieve the best excellence that he could! Besides, what was the worst that could happen to him? Fighting an actual dragon or something? Whatever came and whatever may, though, he would strive to do as he had come to do over the last nine years: Live.
Special Moments:When Alexander helped his father bind up the wounds of the injured pilot, whose leg had been gashed open by twisted metal of the wreckage, after he and his father’s plane crashed in the Alps when he was six years old.
His first (literal) bite of success came after he succeeded at cooking chicken marsala, having done so with his own two hands and after many hours of practice and a number of failures at the age of eight. Even now he can remember the flavors and such vividly and fondly from the dish he cooked that day.
The first time he met his younger baby brother, Johann, in the hospital at the age of five.

Character Quote: “A leader should lead from the front and by example, be willing to get their hands dirty right alongside those underneath and around them, aim to become the best they can be, and aspire to inspire or elevate those brought closer to them to greater heights! Such is what I believe, at any rate, and will work toward with my own two hands in this world.”
“Naturally sometimes we get full, but when people excessively waste food it gets under my skin. Throwing all of that out, all when it could serve a purpose. Hmm? Why? Well-
-I still remember that frozen hell, and rationing what food we had out over those two weeks. So cold. So hungry. All burnt into my mind, such that sometimes once in a while I dream about that time period even now. I adore food, and yes but if you’re going to waste it then at least give it to someone that needs it before it goes bad…..or don’t get the food in the first place for that matter.
Of course I am not talking about the mere tossing away the crust of a slice of pizza or two, or a child who is picky about the thin crust of bread on a sandwich. Rather, I speak of those flagrant fools who would toss out half of a feast just to show off and be petty about it when others need that hot meal. That, rather than be seen giving it away or making good use for it. It's despicable to me.”
