@Dragonfly 9, @rush99999, how are things going? If you have any more questions about character creations, I'm happy to help.
Sorry for taking so long. I should have it done soon.
Here I am. Let me know if any changes are needed and I'll see to it.Name: rush99999
Game Origin: Roblox
Appearance: Looks like this.
Personality: Like all other Robloxians, rush99999 craves entertainment above all else. Commonly going to extreme and often suicidal lengths in pursuit of it. Danger does nothing to deter him and usually even serves as encouragement. When in a situation he finds boring, he is prone to rash action for the sake of livening things up or simply wandering off to find something more interesting to do.
Background: Before Galeem annihilated the universe and remade it in his image, rush99999 was just like any other Robloxian. He built, he fought, he established impossibly lucrative business ventures, and did anything else that struck his fancy in his search for satisfying entertainment. When Galeem came and destroyed it all, the Robloxians wouldn't have paid it much mind even without the Gleaming state suppressing their memories of the apocalypse. After all, what was one more death to beings that died ten times a day on average? When they were brought into the World of Light to pad out the population, it was business as usual. Driven by their never ending need for fun, the Robloxians went out into the world to build, fight among themselves, establish impossibly lucrative business ventures, and do anything else that sounded like a good time. And rush99999 was right there with them. But circumstance is about to draw him into the dramas of the wider world.
Specialty: Building and Fighting
Level: 1
Experience: 0/10
Powers:
- OOF!: Nothing short of a Final Smash can put a Robloxian down for good. When they die by any other means their corpse disappears a few moments later. They then reappear alive and well in the last safe place they visited.
Strengths:
- Builder's Club: Robloxians are probably known best for their talent for building things. From shacks to skyscrapers to entire worlds. The only limit to their ability is the time and resources available to them.
- i r teh pwnz0r!: Because of their ability to respawn, fights to the death are a common pastime among Robloxians. The combat experience this gives them, combined with them having little regard for their own safety, makes them some of the most dangerous combatants one could face.
- Obby Experience: Obstacle courses (Often shortened to 'obbys' by the Robloxians.) are a popular choice of project among Robloxian builders. As a result, Robloxians have become adept at navigating even the most difficult pathways.
Weaknesses:
- Reckless: Without the fear of death holding them back, Robloxians are prone to charging headlong into dangerous situations. This can lead to difficulties for their non-Robloxian allies.
- Speech Bubbles: When Robloxians wish to communicate, they cannot do so by speaking. Instead, they must spend a varying period of time willing a speech bubble into existence to convey words for them. The more a Robloxian has to say, the longer the speech bubble takes to make.
Spirits: (See Spirits section for details. Start with none)
Guest List:
- Steve from Minecraft
- Lego Star Wars Yoda
- The Player from Sunset Overdrive
Inventory: Empty
One thing to be aware of is that no characters that originate from other mediums are acceptable, whether or not they appear in video games. That includes Yoda
and in a weird way, ourselves. I don't think this would necessitate a lot of changes, since I assume you as a person aren't near-suicidal for the sake of entertainment, but you might as well call the character just Rush or something. That fits a thrill-seeker after all.
So this power means that he will very rarely ever be seriously threatened, but may very often be massively inconvenienced.

Lego Yoda has been removed.

Funnily enough, the name rush99999 did actually originate from a video game. When I was making an account for a now defunct online game called Adventure Rock, I tried entering 'goldrush' as my username. When that was rejected, rush99999 was suggested to me as an alternative and it has been my preferred username ever since.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>
I'm ok with that.
Basically, depending on where the respawn point is, the ability could either be overpowered or so debilitating as to be an actual liability.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>
Going without the ability would be even more debilitating. As you mentioned earlier, Robloxians can be easily killed. So I'm gonna need the power to respawn if I want to last long.
@Lugubrious Pssst, is this still accepting new applicants?
If yes, I also have a followup question, do you have any systems that can help a fresh new Lvl 1 PC to contribute to the party without being uselessly insignificant?
<Snipped quote by Izurich>
Hey there! We're always accepting, and would be very glad to have you. Level isn't the end-all be-all, since it's very possible to choose a character with some sort of ability or utility that's always useful at every stage of the game. We're lacking in abilities that don't relate to combat, for instance.
Right now we're at an interesting point in the story, though. We're smack dab in the middle of two of the big boss fights that wrap up our current arcs. After that, we're essentially going to do some fun minigames. We're also probably going to do a relaunch in order to shake things up a bit. So in the spirit of said relaunch, I'd be willing to grant you entry at Level 5 rather than Level 1. Would that help?
I don't particularly think that grinding levels is necessary or is even really viable. The amount of extra work you have to put in per post to get above 3 exp is pretty prohibitive.
You could wait until the relaunch, but it's not like everything's going to be wiped out or undone, it's essentially just going to be a new thread that picks up close to where we left off with this one. It would be fine to wait through the next two and a half weeks or so until the boss fights conclude, but I'd say to join the fun after that. Plus, there will be some extra changes with the relaunch that makes application a little less lucrative than the current offer.
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>
True, that's fair.
Aaaah, alright, gotcha. Then a slight change of plans, I'll participate in the IC after the current boss fight event is over, but before the relaunch.
<Snipped quote by Izurich>
Great, sounds like a plan. I'll look forward to your applications, and I hope you enjoy reading through our stuff. Unfortunately not all the resources are up to date.
Game Origin:
F-Zero
Personality:
Falcon is confident, self-assured, and bold. He's always eager and driven to compete and prove himself, whether as a bounty hunter or on the race track. During interviews, he's known to maintain a calm and professional attitude. He's grateful for the fan-following he built up over his career and is always happy to greet a fan and sign autographs. He even tends to be cordial to his rivals, encouraging them to push their limits and challenge him anytime they feel confident enough. And he can also be quite the heroic sort, quick to save or protect a life if he has the means to do so.Douglas Jay Falcon was originally a bounty hunter from Port Town. As a hunter, Falcon's record was impeccable which had earned him fame and infamy even before he became an F-Zero Pilot. As for why Falcon joined the F-Zero races, no one really knows. Even his identity is a closely guarded secret, as Falcon is never seen without his helmet and visor on. However, it can be assumed that he joined the races simply as another means to compete and push himself to his limits.
During his career as a racer, Falcon has met many friends and rivals - the most infamous of those being Samurai Goroh as well as Falcon's own evil clone known only as Blood Falcon. The latter was created by Black Shadow after he stole some of Falcon's DNA while he was hospitalized after a huge crash incident during an F-Zero race. In addition, some vital parts were also stolen from Falcon's machine - the Blue Falcon - during this time in order to serve as the basis for Blood Falcon's F-Zero machine - the Blood Hawk.
Thankfully for Falcon, he made a full recovery and entered the grand prix with a brand new Blue Falcon where he eventually came out on top as its champion. Craving another title, Falcon returned one year later to compete in the next F-Zero Grand Prix. However, he mysteriously vanished before those races started. He was in fact whisked away where he found himself competing in fighting tournaments against heroes and villains alike from other worlds, being what others would now call the "Original Smashers".
Like all the Smashers, Captain Falcon stood among their ranks when Galeem appeared and launched his attacks. And like all the rest, Falcon was defeated and placed under the light god's influence. Within the World of Light, Captain Falcon essentially resumed his career as a racer. He's stayed mostly in and around Hammerhead in the Paved Wilderness. But a new race held elsewhere has spurred him into traveling over into the Sandswept Sky to Carnival Town.Specialty:
Speed and Close Range (brawling)Level:
1
Experience:
0/10Powers:
- Falcon Style: Captain Falcon's personal self-made fighting style. It incorporates quick and agile movement into lightning fast fiery strikes. Notable techniques include the Falcon Dive (in he grapples an enemy midair and generates a small explosion that launches them downward while also launching himself further upward), Rapter Boost (a forward rush attack in which he strikes with a flame-imbued uppercut generally leading to them being launched upward), Knee of Justice (a lightning-infused knee smash), the Heel of Shame (a downward kick with both heels that sends a midair target slamming back down onto the ground), and Falcon Kick (a flame-wrapped kick that either sends him sliding forward on the ground or flying diagonally downward if used in the air). But his strongest technique is the infamous Falcon Punch, a punch that is launched after a short wind-up in order to deal a devastating blow. It can be imbued with either fire or lightning.
Strengths:
- Top Tier Pilot: As he is the winner of multiple races and at least one Grand Prix, Falcon's racing and piloting skills are obviously top tier.
- Fast: Falcon can sprint and strike at blistering speed.
- Toughness: He obviously has a degree of durability to him, considering his body can withstand the backlash force of his Falcon Punch without any injuries or discomfort.
Weaknesses:
- Close Range: Falcon's attacks are all with his fists, putting him at a distinct disadvantage against ranged fighters.
- Wind-Up: Some of his attacks require short wind-ups to hit with full strength, most notably the Falcon Punch.
- Showmanship: Falcon has an unfortunate habit of calling out the names of some of his attacks as he uses them. It makes for good showmanship, but it also runs the risk of enemies learning to predict his attacks if a fight drags on long enough for them to catch on.
Spirits:
- None
Kindred Spirits:Inventory:
- Blaster Pistol (Falcon's sidearm, that he hardly ever uses, preferring his manly fists over guns.)
- Blue Falcon (Captain Falcon's state-of-the-art F-Zero machine, used solely for racing.)
- Falcon Flyer (Captain Falcon's midsize galactic cruiser, equipped with an on-board computer that allows Falcon to summon it remotely. Used for travel and transporting the Blue Falcon.)
